00:01:31.000 Email is freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:01:32.000 We have Vivek Ramaswamy joining us, but I want to lead into it.
00:01:36.000 So Vivek is going viral for his dialogue with the Des Moines Register, including other press conferences.
00:01:43.000 He's been leveling up.
00:01:45.000 I have so much respect for Vivek Ramaswamy, and he's been getting better and better and better and better.
00:01:51.000 You know, some candidates just fall apart.
00:01:53.000 And if we're calling balls and strikes, Governor DeSantis, he had the worst 2023.
00:01:59.000 You know, we didn't do that, but we should have.
00:02:00.000 We're only a couple days into 2024.
00:02:02.000 If Ron DeSantis was a stock chart, whoo, it's like Bear Stearns.
00:02:09.000 We tried to help him.
00:02:10.000 We didn't want to listen to us.
00:02:11.000 Vivek Ramaswamy, you know, it's funny.
00:02:15.000 I called Vivek.
00:02:17.000 He called me and I saw a political article.
00:02:18.000 This guy wants to run for president.
00:02:19.000 I know Vivek.
00:02:21.000 And I said, man, I don't know if this is a good idea for you.
00:02:23.000 And I said, I don't know if it's going to fit.
00:02:24.000 I don't know if you're obviously, you know, we're Trump guys.
00:02:27.000 And I'll say I was half right, half wrong.
00:02:30.000 In a sense, I don't know about his political viability because Trump looks unstoppable, but I'm so glad.
00:02:34.000 And I was wrong about this because I didn't see kind of the narrative, the narrative wins he would have.
00:02:42.000 I got to give, I got to say, I was wrong.
00:02:44.000 Vivek running for the presidency has been a moral good.
00:02:47.000 I can't tell you how many, especially high IQ entrepreneur type people that come up to me and all they want to talk about is Vivek.
00:02:57.000 That's all they want to talk about.
00:02:57.000 It's a very specific demographic that he hits.
00:03:01.000 It's not your typical MAGA Republican that Vivek dominates with.
00:03:05.000 It's not your typical person that shows up at MAGA rallies or is that kind of a fit.
00:03:13.000 It's different.
00:03:14.000 It's conservatives, but it's somebody that would be more likely to listen to a two or three-hour podcast, a Joe Rogan.
00:03:20.000 It's people that are owning their own businesses, people that are disgusted by the wokeism, and they love Vivek's approach.
00:03:27.000 He's been great during the debates.
00:03:28.000 He had the courage to go after Rana.
00:03:30.000 He has been leveling up in real time.
00:03:32.000 Other people are noticing it too.
00:03:33.000 He's been excellent.
00:03:34.000 And I will say this: I am very, very biased.
00:03:38.000 Vivek Ramaswamy, on multiple occasions, has changed his schedule to come to our turning point events when Ron DeSantis would not be bothered to do so.
00:03:47.000 That's a big deal for me.
00:03:49.000 I don't forget that.
00:03:50.000 I'm going to thank him on this program.
00:03:52.000 When you change your schedule to come to a turning point event, I notice, I remember, and I repeat.
00:03:59.000 DeSantis wouldn't be bothered in his home state to come down to the turning point.
00:04:02.000 By the way, Ted Cruz deserves a lot of credit.
00:04:04.000 He always makes time for us, and I have great respect for Ted Cruz for that.
00:04:07.000 Even when I disagree with Ted Cruz on certain votes, I'm a little bit easy on him because he's always so great for our students.
00:04:13.000 He's so great to turning point.
00:04:15.000 It means a lot to me.
00:04:16.000 Ron DeSantis, he wouldn't be bothered to come to our events.
00:04:19.000 He's afraid.
00:04:19.000 I think Ron DeSantis is afraid of getting in front of our crowds.
00:04:22.000 Vivek leans in.
00:04:23.000 So much respect for him.
00:04:25.000 And so, and yeah, but DeSantis used to do our events, and now he won't be found, which is too bad.
00:04:30.000 His loss tried to help him.
00:04:32.000 His stock cratered, cratered down.
00:04:35.000 Vivek Ramaswamy has an especially talented approach on this topic of racism and white supremacy.
00:04:47.000 The unforgivable crime in the West and how we got here is really manipulative, honestly.
00:04:55.000 It's through education and media.
00:04:57.000 We kind of allowed it to happen in upper middle-class boomer wasp society.
00:05:02.000 We kind of never pushed back on it because the word was kind of code for being evil, immoral, indecent.
00:05:10.000 And that is being called a racist.
00:05:12.000 Now, racism is wrong.
00:05:15.000 But can you give me a definition of racism?
00:05:17.000 This sounds like a very simple question, isn't it?
00:05:20.000 This is why I've been, I've said this on the program before, and I very well might do this.
00:05:24.000 I've been pushing my team.
00:05:25.000 Matt Walsh did the film, What is a Woman?
00:05:29.000 I want to do the film, What is Racism?
00:05:31.000 And I know that it will be an amazing short film because there is not an easy answer to it on the left.
00:05:39.000 We've completely allowed the Marxists to define our moral universe for us without any pushback.
00:05:48.000 And so if you really drill down to the academic Marxist left, you say, what is racism?
00:05:57.000 They will say racism is a reflection of systems of power.
00:06:02.000 Huh?
00:06:03.000 That's what they believe.
00:06:04.000 They think racism is not person A being racist to person B.
00:06:10.000 They think that only white people can be racist and black people can't be racist.
00:06:14.000 Go look at the IBM 10 Commandments.
00:06:16.000 James O'Keefe releases these.
00:06:18.000 The IBM 10 Commandments, one of them is that black people cannot be racist.
00:06:23.000 And so we've built our entire society and the consequences of our actions without anybody being able to tell you what actually this word means.
00:06:34.000 We think we know what it means.
00:06:36.000 So for example, if I do an impersonation of somebody in an Asian accent, am I being racist?
00:06:42.000 Yes or no?
00:06:43.000 If I wear a sombrero on Cinco de Mayo, am I being racist?
00:06:48.000 Yes or no?
00:06:49.000 If there are black-only dormitories, am I being racist?
00:06:53.000 Yes or no?
00:06:55.000 If I talk as if somebody from Jamaica would talk, like Bob Marley, am I being racist?
00:07:01.000 Yes or no?
00:07:02.000 If I listen to rap music, am I being racist?
00:07:05.000 Yes or no?
00:07:05.000 Now, these might sound like silly questions, but the answers are all across the board.
00:07:10.000 There's no catechism of rules.
00:07:13.000 It's just who's in power gets to enforce it.
00:07:16.000 If I wear a blackface, is it racist?
00:07:18.000 Yes or no.
00:07:20.000 If I use the N-word, is it racist?
00:07:22.000 Yes or no.
00:07:23.000 And there, if your answer is yes, then tell me why, because then you must yield back to a definition, a definition of which people can not give you.
00:07:33.000 And if they give you a definition, it is completely and totally across the board.
00:07:36.000 It is moral paranoia.
00:07:38.000 So our society, what we judge as good or bad, has no agreed upon definition.
00:07:47.000 Nobody can define it.
00:07:48.000 And yet the expectation is that being racist is the worst thing in the world.
00:07:52.000 And then when you ask them what being racist is, they say, you know it when you see it.
00:07:57.000 You cannot treat something as the worst crime ever if nobody actually knows what it is.
00:08:03.000 The line has to be clear, which is why I would love one day, and one day this will happen, a reporter will come and ask me, I'll just say, hey, Abby Jones for the New York Times, what is racism?
00:08:13.000 I'm going to ask this question all spring on our campus tour.
00:08:17.000 And it's not a trick question.
00:08:19.000 Same when I asked the young ladies, what is a woman?
00:08:22.000 They combust.
00:08:23.000 I can't answer that.
00:08:23.000 A woman is someone who identifies as a woman.
00:08:25.000 Okay, you can't answer the question with the term.
00:08:27.000 It's like saying a tree is something that looks like a tree.
00:08:30.000 You have to give a definition.
00:08:32.000 Basic definitions make the left explode.
00:08:36.000 Because if they actually have to define it, then there's a standard.
00:08:39.000 And once there's a standard, you can compare things to the standard.
00:08:43.000 They don't want a clear standard.
00:08:45.000 They just want power.
00:08:47.000 So the line has to be clear.
00:08:49.000 And there are, there's really not agreed upon terms.
00:08:53.000 I will say this.
00:08:54.000 The one thing that people do consider in high societies, you can't say the N-word.
00:08:58.000 Okay.
00:08:59.000 Can't do that.
00:09:01.000 And now you can't, if you're a white girl, you can't put your hair in braids because you're culturally appropriating.
00:09:08.000 Okay.
00:09:08.000 You can't wear a black face.
00:09:11.000 Okay.
00:09:12.000 But do you know what else they consider to be racist?
00:09:16.000 Speaking properly, racist.
00:09:19.000 Doing math, racist.
00:09:21.000 Oh, you don't believe me.
00:09:23.000 The African-American Smithsonian Museum in an official document that was published back during Floyd Apalooza, and they don't want you to mention this.
00:09:32.000 And by the way, it was not just like some errant tweet.
00:09:36.000 This was a very well-put together, graphically designed document where they say aspects and assumptions of whiteness and white culture in the United States.
00:09:46.000 For example, time, following rigid time schedules, racist.
00:09:52.000 Christianity, racist.
00:09:54.000 This is your government funding this.
00:09:56.000 The National Museum of African American History.
00:10:00.000 And by the way, is it African-American or black history?
00:10:03.000 No one can ever give me that answer.
00:10:05.000 If it's African-American, why wasn't it African-American Lives Matter?
00:10:08.000 Branding issue?
00:10:09.000 Or does Black Lives Matter just sound better?
00:10:12.000 Planning for the future, racist.
00:10:14.000 Delayed gratification, racist.
00:10:16.000 Progress is always best, racist.
00:10:18.000 Tomorrow will be better, racist.
00:10:21.000 The nuclear family, racist.
00:10:23.000 Self-reliance, racist.
00:10:25.000 The King's English, racist.
00:10:27.000 Written tradition, racist.
00:10:29.000 Being polite, racist.
00:10:31.000 Being number one, racist.
00:10:34.000 This is from the National Museum of America, African American History and Culture.
00:10:41.000 What is racism?
00:10:43.000 The most simple question.
00:10:45.000 We have the unforgivable sin worse than anything, worse than being a rapist, worse than anything.
00:10:53.000 And they can't tell you what it is.
00:10:56.000 You just know it when you see it.
00:11:01.000 Hey, everybody, I want to introduce you to the Artillery Tea Company.

00:11:07.000 I drink tea every day, and Artillery Tea Company is the brand that I choose.

00:11:49.000 That's artillerytea.com.
00:11:50.000 Enter promo code Charlie and get 10% off.
00:11:52.000 They're an amazing company.
00:11:53.000 I really like them.
00:11:54.000 They do a great job.
00:11:55.000 Artillerytea.com, artillerytea.com, promo code Charlie.
00:12:03.000 So it is the great sin of America that few people, not almost anybody, can tell you what it is.
00:12:10.000 And the reason is they like it that way.
00:12:14.000 They like not being able to tell you the power they have over you.
00:12:21.000 Are there worse things than being a racist?
00:12:25.000 Yes.
00:12:26.000 Absolutely.
00:12:28.000 Being a pedophile is worse than being a racist.
00:12:32.000 Without a doubt.
00:12:34.000 Let me ask you a question.
00:12:36.000 If somebody says, I don't feel safe walking in the south side of Chicago at night, are they racist?
00:12:45.000 Are they racist?
00:12:46.000 It's an 85%, 90% black area, very, very high crime.
00:12:52.000 Are they racist?
00:12:55.000 By what definition do you put forward and the standard that we live under?
00:13:01.000 So I'll give you the definition of racism as it should be: a person acting against another person based on something they cannot change, such as their skin color.
00:13:15.000 Acting.
00:13:17.000 Not just saying something, not just private talk.
00:13:21.000 It means nothing to me.
00:13:22.000 Dennis Prager is one of the most articulate individuals on this topic, where he says, it means nothing to me if in private in your car you might say something negative about the Jews.
00:13:34.000 How do you treat me is far more important.
00:13:38.000 Now, some people say your negative sentiments might actually blur into your public actions.
00:13:44.000 They can, but I'm sure all of us have said things in Road Rage or other private settings that you did not necessarily always mean.
00:13:52.000 Your actions matter.
00:13:54.000 And so, for example, black-only dormitories is modern-day apartheid racism.
00:14:02.000 Action.
00:14:04.000 Hiring practices in corporate America is modern-day anti-white racism.
00:14:09.000 But those things are considered to be progress because they won't define the term.
00:14:15.000 So the stuff that actually is legitimately racial profiling, racially stereotyping, nobody touches.
00:14:23.000 But the stuff that isn't, you could lose your career.
00:14:28.000 You could lose everything that you've ever worked for.
00:14:32.000 There are these young teenagers that get kicked out of college because they use the N-word once in a group chat when they're 16 years old.
00:14:44.000 That's so sick.
00:14:46.000 There's people that get their lives ruined because of private talk in chat rooms.
00:14:51.000 That means nothing to me.
00:14:52.000 Nothing.
00:14:54.000 How do you act?
00:14:55.000 What do you do?
00:14:57.000 You're trying to be cute in front of your friends.
00:14:59.000 I'm supposed to believe that's some sort of a reflection of who you are.
00:15:02.000 No, your character is largely your actions.
00:15:06.000 How do you act?
00:15:07.000 How do you treat people?
00:15:08.000 What have you done?
00:15:10.000 What's your behavior like?
00:15:12.000 No, but they don't want that.
00:15:13.000 They want to be able to have an unforgivable sin, a death blow to any career.
00:15:21.000 It is a means to power.
00:15:23.000 The mass proliferation of the cult of diversity.
00:15:29.000 And with it, the sin of racism is an ability to control people via political correctness.
00:15:37.000 Political correctness is inherently totalitarian.
00:15:41.000 And also, it makes life sadder.
00:15:45.000 Life was funnier when the office, in like their fourth or fifth episode, had Diversity Day.
00:15:51.000 And I've said it before.
00:15:52.000 I'll say it again.
00:15:53.000 It is irreverent.
00:15:54.000 It's politically incorrect.
00:15:55.000 It would never air today.
00:15:57.000 In fact, it is so on the edge, it is outrageously hilarious.
00:16:01.000 Making fun of Asians, making fun of women, making fun of white people, too.
00:16:07.000 America was a better country when comedy like this was aired on television.
00:16:13.000 Play Cut62.
00:16:15.000 Niggas always want some credit for some shit they're supposed to do.
00:16:19.000 For some shit they just supposed to do.
00:16:21.000 A nigga will brag about some shit a normal man just doesn't.
00:16:25.000 They'll say something like, I take care of my kids.
00:16:28.000 You're supposed to dumb motherfuckers.
00:16:34.000 Chris Rock.
00:16:36.000 Irreverent?
00:16:37.000 By the way, if you couldn't understand it, he was Chris Rock making fun of black inner city culture.
00:16:44.000 And he says there's two types of black people.
00:16:46.000 I'll let you guys check it out yourself.
00:16:48.000 Or my other one is, he's like, yeah, I've never been to prison.
00:16:51.000 That's not an accomplishment, not going to prison.
00:16:55.000 Is that racist?
00:16:57.000 I'll only take it seriously if you can define the term.
00:16:59.000 Tell me what it is.
00:17:00.000 Is it a power struggle?
00:17:01.000 Is it a means to the end?
00:17:02.000 No, no, no, no.
00:17:03.000 You don't want to ever tell me the definition, nor can you, because we're on to the con.
00:17:09.000 We're on to the con of overusing that term to destroy people's lives and silence our speech and suffocate us from noticing.
00:17:20.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:17:22.000 Brand new year and new year resolutions.
00:17:24.000 I have one you should make.
00:17:25.000 Save babies by providing ultrasounds.
00:17:27.000 Be a hero for life this year starting today.
00:17:29.000 Together during the Sanctity of Human Life Month, we're going to save 35,000 babies to show the world that even if our government and our laws don't respect the unborn, we do.
00:17:38.000 Your gift to pre-born will give a girl the truth about what's happening in her body so that she can make the right choice, something they don't want her to know.
00:17:45.000 What better way to start this new year than to join us saving babies?
00:17:48.000 And $28 a month will save a baby a month all year long.
00:17:50.000 $15,000 gift will provide a complete ultrasound machine that will save thousands of babies for years to come.
00:17:56.000 And we'll also save moms from a lifetime of pain and regret.
00:17:59.000 So start this year right by resolving to be heroes for life.

00:18:20.000 Check it out.
00:18:24.000 It's important to remember how oppressive the vibe was back in 2017 and 2020.
00:18:32.000 All the way that kind of Trump era.
00:18:35.000 People would be worried if you even said the word white.
00:18:38.000 Some people would be afraid to say that Maxine Waters hates white people.
00:18:43.000 Things have totally changed.
00:18:44.000 And Vivek Ramaswamy is moving the Overton window.
00:18:47.000 He's doing an amazing job and he joins us now.
00:18:48.000 Vivek, welcome to the program.
00:18:50.000 Thanks for taking time.
00:18:51.000 Vivek, your clip went totally viral.
00:18:53.000 I'm going to play the piece of tape, but first, I just want to say you have been exceptional in making time for us at Turning Point at Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action.
00:19:01.000 Means a lot to me.
00:19:02.000 I'll never forget it.
00:19:03.000 You were awesome at Amfest.
00:19:05.000 So thank you, Vivek.
00:19:06.000 Let me play Cut 26.
00:19:07.000 I want to get your reaction.
00:19:09.000 You want to say that you condemn white supremacy?
00:19:11.000 I'm not going to recite some catechism for you.
00:19:13.000 I'm against vicious racial discrimination in this country.
00:19:16.000 So I'm not pledging allegiance to your new religion of modern wokeism, which absolutely fits the test.
00:19:21.000 I'm not going to bend the knee to your religion.
00:19:23.000 I'm sorry.
00:19:23.000 I'm not asking you to bend the knee to mine, and I'm not going to bend the knee to yours.
00:19:26.000 But do I condemn vicious racial discrimination?
00:19:29.000 Yes, I do.
00:19:30.000 Am I going to play your silly game of gotcha?
00:19:32.000 No, I'm not.
00:19:32.000 The reality is, I condemn vicious racial discrimination in this country.
00:19:36.000 But the kind of vicious and systematic racial discrimination we see today is discrimination on the basis of race in a very different direction.
00:19:43.000 Vivek, welcome to the program.
00:19:45.000 Tell us more about this exchange.
00:19:47.000 Well, look, this is all in the context of Steve King.
00:19:50.000 And you might remember Congressman Steve King, who I think was unfairly tarred by the media as a racist or otherwise.
00:19:57.000 And we're riding the back of a bus, Charlie, in Iowa.
00:20:00.000 So excuse the campaign, excuse the video logistics here.
00:20:03.000 But Steve King endorsed me.
00:20:05.000 That's the bottom line.
00:20:06.000 And they tarred him as a white supremacist and a racist.
00:20:09.000 All of that is bogus.
00:20:10.000 Steve King is a patriot who loves this country.
00:20:12.000 And all of that narrative is false.
00:20:14.000 But anyway, in the back of that, she then says, okay, well, if you're going to accept Steve King's endorsement, then can you denounce white supremacy?
00:20:21.000 Why have you not denounced white supremacy if you're accepting the endorsement of this white supremacist?
00:20:26.000 And the really hard reality is these people can't even define what white supremacy is.
00:20:30.000 People on the left now say that punctuality or even the written word is a vestige of white supremacy.
00:20:36.000 So the term has lost its meaning entirely.
00:20:39.000 And so what I told her is, look, this has become a new religion.
00:20:41.000 I'm not going to recite the catechism.
00:20:43.000 What do they want?
00:20:44.000 They try to do this to Trump, too.
00:20:45.000 Say, condemn white supremacy.
00:20:46.000 And they want me to sit there compliantly saying, yes, you phrased this a certain way.
00:20:50.000 And I'm going to condemn white supremacy because you decided those are the words that need to come out of my mouth.
00:20:56.000 I say hell no to that.
00:20:57.000 No, I'm not going to speak their language.
00:20:58.000 Do I, am I against invidious racism in this country?
00:21:02.000 Of course I am.
00:21:03.000 But the kind of racism we see right now most rampantly is reverse racism, affirmative action.
00:21:08.000 And if you want to want to end discrimination on the basis of race, then stop discriminating for God's sake on the basis of race and obsessing over it.
00:21:16.000 And so I refused to play her game.
00:21:18.000 The other media members in that gaggle, they kept attacking me afterwards, but thank God somebody caught it.
00:21:23.000 And we actually had some fun with that on the internet.
00:21:26.000 Yeah, to piggyback, first of all, you're handling this beautifully because they want to have power over you.
00:21:32.000 That's what it is.
00:21:34.000 They want their boot on your neck.
00:21:36.000 It's the same as 1984, right?
00:21:38.000 All they care about is power.
00:21:39.000 They want to be O'Brien.
00:21:41.000 They want to be O'Brien on top of Winston.
00:21:43.000 And when you say actually no, like those two words don't mean what you think they mean.
00:21:50.000 For example, according to the National Museum for African American History, this is a federal government-funded museum.
00:21:58.000 They say that showing up on time, planning for the future, having hard work, using the scientific method, speaking properly, and writing things down is white supremacy.
00:22:10.000 Vivek Ramaswamy.
00:22:13.000 Well, look, I think that that means the term white supremacy doesn't mean anything.
00:22:16.000 And Charlie, I also just want to use this as a chance to say, because it would be unfair if we didn't actually call this out.
00:22:22.000 What the New York Times did to Steve King, you remember Steve King?
00:22:25.000 You know who he is, right, Charlie?
00:22:26.000 Of course.
00:22:26.000 Yes.
00:22:26.000 I know him well.
00:22:27.000 Yeah.
00:22:27.000 Yes.
00:22:28.000 Right, right.
00:22:28.000 So, I mean, he was actually one of the guys who was talking about building the wall long before it was cool to talk about building the wall, laid the foundation for much of the America First Movement that we actually respect and appreciate today.
00:22:40.000 They tarred him as a right white supremacist or racist back then for saying things like build the wall.
00:22:44.000 And so, you know what?
00:22:45.000 I got his endorsement.
00:22:46.000 And the thing you're supposed to say is, well, I'm happy I got the endorsement, but I disagree with some things he said in the past.
00:22:51.000 I refused to play that catechism.
00:22:52.000 I'm proud to have his endorsement.
00:22:54.000 And I think that he's not a white supremacist or anything else they've tarred him with either.
00:22:58.000 But it takes somebody right now and the utter lack of self-awareness that this Washington Post reporter had is astounding that she's criticizing Steve King for being some kind of white supremacist for just coming out and endorsing some brown guy named Vivek Ramaswamy.
00:23:13.000 Their lack of self-awareness continues to perplex me.
00:23:17.000 But I think that we can't bend the knee to this religion.
00:23:20.000 And that's what it's become, Charlie.
00:23:22.000 And I think that if I'm president, one of the things I'm saying is we're using the law to say that this is a civil rights violation right now at university corporate America when they're forcing employees to bend down to this new DEI religion.
00:23:35.000 I've written about this for years.
00:23:37.000 That's a civil rights violation because this meets the Supreme Court's test for what counts as a religion.
00:23:42.000 And so, if they're going to say people can't be forced to bow down to any other religion, a cross or anything else, they shouldn't be forced to bow down to this one either.
00:23:50.000 And I would use the Department of Justice to apply the standards even-handedly, which we've failed to do in this country for a long time.
00:23:57.000 But if there's one thing that comes out of this campaign that I've enjoyed the most, it is holding the media accountable for their own lies and their lack of self-awareness is astounding, but the rest of the country at least gets to see it for what it is.
00:24:09.000 And at the very least, that's what I'm doing in this campaign.
00:24:12.000 So, Vivek, walk us through because what you've done, I mean, you've become completely unshackled.
00:24:16.000 It's been beautiful to see.
00:24:17.000 You're leveling up in real time.
00:24:19.000 And for the audience out there, they say, But Vivek, I might be called a racist.
00:24:25.000 What's your response to that?
00:24:28.000 Well, I would say man up a little bit.
00:24:30.000 And if they call you a racist, then deal with it.
00:24:32.000 And I don't mean to just sort of Charlie to be like rude or mean to an audience member.
00:24:36.000 I'm not minimizing what that is in the culture.
00:24:38.000 But in a certain sense, if you have a bunch of people that are bending the knee to say that if you're called the R word and that's a scarlet letter that you're tarred with, open your eyes to the fact that that word doesn't mean anything anymore.
00:24:48.000 And most of this country's eyes have been open to that.
00:24:50.000 What math is racist, they've said.
00:24:52.000 So if you're good at math, that means you're racist.
00:24:54.000 Reverse racism is racism.
00:24:55.000 If I say that, they call you racist.
00:24:57.000 Anti-racism, if you're against that, somehow you're racist.
00:24:59.000 When in fact, it's just calling for more institutionalized racism in this country.
00:25:03.000 The greatest form of institutional racism in America right now is affirmative action.
00:25:08.000 It is literally embedded into the law and into our institutions, allowing for discrimination on the basis of race.
00:25:14.000 So when that word stops meaning anything, I think sometimes I can always preach the hard truths to the left, Charlie, but I want to preach it to our own side and our own movement too.
00:25:24.000 If people are just going to be scared and bend the knee and worry they're going to be tarred with some label and somehow that affects who they are in their life, you know what?
00:25:32.000 You need to level up and man up too and say that if somebody's going to call you that, you know the truth about yourself.
00:25:37.000 God puts us here for a purpose.
00:25:39.000 You have a duty to realize that purpose.
00:25:41.000 And if you're going to judge yourself based on what other people call you, then I would say we have to actually take a long, hard look in the mirror first before you point your finger to the left because you're just guilty of the same sin they're committing, but to a lesser degree.
00:25:54.000 It's different, not in degree, but in kind.
00:25:56.000 And so I don't know, I'm in a bit of a bit of a mood, Charlie.
00:25:59.000 You're catching me, but that's what I would say is man up a little bit, and that's how we're going to actually get this country back.
00:26:05.000 It also takes so much power away from them.
00:26:08.000 I mean, you just watched that clip.
00:26:09.000 They almost felt automatic as if they're trying to bring you to heel.
00:26:12.000 Like, come on, boy, do what I tell you to do.
00:26:15.000 Oh, yeah.
00:26:15.000 And by the way, Nikki Haley.
00:26:16.000 Absolutely.
00:26:17.000 Nikki Haley, Nemerada, would have slobbered and she would have been like, let me be perfectly clear.
00:26:22.000 We denounce racism in every way and white supremacy and we're going to bomb Iran.
00:26:28.000 Like she would have done the whole thing.
00:26:30.000 Yes.
00:26:30.000 She's one of them.
00:26:31.000 She's one of them is the answer at the end of the day.
00:26:33.000 We got to see that.
00:26:34.000 Just because you have an R after your name on a ballot doesn't mean that you actually stand for the same set of values.
00:26:39.000 No, that's right.
00:26:40.000 And they kind of short-circuited and they weren't sure how to deal with you at all when you said that.
00:26:48.000 And it's more important than I think people recognize or realize.
00:26:52.000 So much of their power is weaponized name-calling and hostage-taking of your career and your livelihood.
00:26:59.000 And you perfectly said, because they put a scarlet R on you and the rest of your life is ruined.
00:27:05.000 And Vivek, you push back against that really brilliantly.
00:27:08.000 So, Vivek, talk about how the border plays into this.
00:27:11.000 And then I want to play a Nikki Haley tape.
00:27:13.000 The border is a great replacement to try to make America less white, less native-born.
00:27:20.000 You've said this.
00:27:20.000 You said that the great replacement is not a theory.
00:27:23.000 It is the policy of the Democrat Party.
00:27:25.000 Elaborate.
00:27:27.000 Yeah, look, this isn't a conspiracy theory.
00:27:28.000 It's just a statement of basic incentives of a political party.
00:27:32.000 Look at the Democrats even 10 years ago were saying the displacement of white populations in the United States would lead to lasting electoral majorities.
00:27:39.000 So after I sparred with CNN, after one of those debates, we go into the spin room, they're sparring with me and saying that's a conspiracy theory.
00:27:45.000 But then she pivots and she says, but even if it wasn't a conspiracy theory, what's so wrong with that policy?
00:27:51.000 That shows you they know exactly what they're doing.
00:27:53.000 Let's just give away the, take the air cover out and let's have the debate in the open.
00:27:58.000 The whole point is this is the Democratic Party's path to lasting electoral majorities.
00:28:03.000 Let's talk about that in the open.
00:28:05.000 And if this were coming at the eastern border or the western border of the United States, we call this what it is.
00:28:09.000 This is an invasion of the country.
00:28:11.000 It's not any different just because it happens to be at the southern border instead either.
00:28:16.000 And so it goes back to that culture of free speech, Charlie.
00:28:18.000 If you want to disagree about whether that's good policy or not, fine, let the other side make the argument for why that's a good policy for America and I'll debate them on it.
00:28:25.000 But don't say I'm a conspiracy theorist or a racist or a xenophobe or anything else.
00:28:29.000 That's just silencing debate using name-calling.
00:28:32.000 And the thing for me, Charlie, is I could really care less what name somebody calls me when those names see and I know who I really am.
00:28:41.000 And that's what I want to see more of from our own movement is revive that sense of self-confidence.
00:28:45.000 They want you to shut up, sit down, do as you're told.
00:28:48.000 It's a modern version of slavery, psychological slavery.
00:28:52.000 Well, the Emancipation Proclamation of our time comes from our own movement.
00:28:56.000 Let's say I don't care what name you called.
00:28:58.000 Slavery is a choice to actually bend in the knee to this name-calling behavior.
00:29:02.000 If you take that meaning away from those names, they have no power left over you.
00:29:06.000 So that'd be my message to our movement.
00:29:08.000 Stand up and let's get our country back.
00:29:10.000 Vivek, I want to play this piece of tape here of Nimerata talking about illegal immigration.
00:29:16.000 Let's play cut 33.
00:29:19.000 But let's keep in mind, these people that are wanting to come here, they want to come for a better life too.
00:29:25.000 They have kids too.
00:29:26.000 They have a heart too.
00:29:29.000 So we don't need to be disrespectful.
00:29:32.000 We don't need to talk about them as criminals.
00:29:35.000 They're not.
00:29:36.000 They're families that want a better life and they're desperate to get here.
00:29:40.000 Vivek, your response.
00:29:42.000 Look, I think that she is really just serving up what her super PAC puppet masters have served her.
00:29:47.000 She reads them off a piece of paper and she gets in on part of the rake when she gets in or out of office.
00:29:52.000 So I think that it'd be one thing if I wanted to have a legitimate policy disagreement on this.
00:29:56.000 Yes, I could take what she says seriously and say she's dead wrong.
00:29:58.000 If you cross this country illegally, by definition, you are a criminal.
00:30:02.000 And we're going to hold you accountable to the fullest extent of the law.
00:30:04.000 And I'm going to end birthright citizenship for the kids of illegal migrants because that's what the Constitution says.
00:30:09.000 It doesn't apply to those illegals.
00:30:11.000 I'm going to send you back to your country if you're in this country illegally.
00:30:14.000 And I'm not going to apologize for it.
00:30:16.000 And I'll engage in that debate, but I don't even want to do that with Nikki Haley because I don't think she's sincere in any of her beliefs, Charlie.
00:30:22.000 She's just saying what the super PAC puppet masters need her to say to advance their own agenda.
00:30:27.000 And that's the real issue with this woman is she is advancing a toxic ideology that I don't think she actually, I don't think this woman has convictions one way or another.
00:30:36.000 And so to engage in debate on the policy merits would assume that she does.
00:30:39.000 If I was engaging, if somebody else who I believe at least meant what they said would say, that's what I would say is these people are criminals.
00:30:45.000 Call them back, call them out for it and send them back to their country.
00:30:48.000 And I will.
00:30:50.000 But the problem with this woman is it's something far deeper than that.
00:30:52.000 And the game they're playing, Charlie, let's just call this out, call a spade a spade so people can actually see it and open their eyes.
00:30:59.000 The establishment wants to effectively narrow this down to a two-horse race between Donald Trump and Nikki Haley.
00:31:04.000 They want to take Donald Trump out one way or another from contention.
00:31:08.000 And these people will stop at nothing.
00:31:10.000 They've made that increasingly clear.
00:31:12.000 And then trot out an even better puppet than Joe Biden to keep their agenda humming.
00:31:16.000 And that's Nikki Haley.
00:31:17.000 So that's what's going on.
00:31:18.000 And I'm in this to make sure that doesn't happen.
00:31:20.000 It's not going to happen in this country.
00:31:22.000 Our America First Movement cannot end and have its road end with the likes of Nikki Haley.
00:31:28.000 I think that's a disaster for this country.
00:31:30.000 And I'm here to make sure it doesn't happen.
00:31:34.000 Look, something big is coming.
00:31:35.000 Charlie Kirk here.
00:31:36.000 You could probably feel it.
00:31:37.000 Everybody can feel it.
00:31:38.000 The next year will be a wild ride like nothing we've ever seen in this country before.

00:32:38.000 All right, it's very simple.
00:32:39.000 Joe Biden, this is his first ad at the 2024 election.
00:32:43.000 He seems like he's running.
00:32:45.000 He's going to call you a terrorist.
00:32:47.000 Play cut 63.
00:32:48.000 Then I want Vivek's response to Joe Biden's ad.
00:32:50.000 Play Cut 63.
00:32:52.000 There's an extremist movement that does not share the basic beliefs in our democracy.
00:32:57.000 All of us are being asked right now, what will we do to maintain our democracy?
00:33:03.000 History's watching.
00:33:05.000 The world is watching.
00:33:06.000 Most important, our children and grandchildren will hold us responsible.
00:33:11.000 The vice president and I have supported voting rights since day one of this administration.
00:33:16.000 And I ask every American to join me in this cause.
00:33:21.000 That's his first campaign ad, Vivek, your response.
00:33:24.000 Our response is: it's like George Orwell is rolling over in his grave watching this.
00:33:28.000 You want to know who the real threat to democracy is.
00:33:30.000 It's not just Joe Biden, it's the managerial class that's popping him up, propping him up, saying that certain people who are running against him for U.S. president, like Donald Trump, need to be taken off a ballot.
00:33:40.000 To say that if you express certain opinions in this country, you'll be suppressed by the government using tech companies to do it.
00:33:46.000 To say that actually, if you say the wrong thing at a school board meeting, you're a domestic terrorist and we've weaponized our federal police state against you.
00:33:52.000 That if you're a peaceful protester of one political persuasion on January 6th on the grounds, you may be held in prison without actually being charged.
00:34:00.000 Constitution be damned.
00:34:02.000 So I say that actually the very people like George Orwell would have predicted who say that they're here to protect democracy are the ones who actually the threats literally to democracy to say that you cannot vote for the person who you want to.
00:34:13.000 That's literally what they're trying to do as we head into this year to Donald Trump in the case of Maine or even in Colorado.
00:34:20.000 I also saw something interesting today, this morning in the Washington Post of all places, Charlie, was they said that 25% of Americans now believe that the FBI likely did instigate January 6th, and another 26% say that they're not sure.
00:34:33.000 That's a majority are either not sure or who believe that the FBI did.
00:34:37.000 And they're fretting over how they're actually going to correct this level of blatant misinformation.
00:34:43.000 The very same people who told you the same thing when people in this country knew that COVID began in a lab in China.
00:34:49.000 So we have a government that has systematically lied to the people.
00:34:52.000 Biden's not really the one doing it.
00:34:54.000 I think that's what we got to see, Charlie, is he's just a puppet.
00:34:57.000 And the people who are propping him up as their puppet, they're going to trot out a new puppet.
00:35:00.000 I used to think it was going to be Gavin Newsom or Michelle Obama.
00:35:03.000 I'm increasingly convinced it's just Nikki Haley and they're going to do it in the guise of the Republican Party competition.
00:35:09.000 But whatever it is, that managerial industrial complex underneath Biden that's propping him up, it's like an Orwellian machine that will feed you.
00:35:18.000 You know, peace is war, war is peace, and democracy is autocracy.
00:35:22.000 That's the way they roll.
00:35:23.000 And we got to be able to see through it.
00:35:25.000 So I find it laughable personally, but I think a lot of Americans, and we do live in a nation of sheep right now, unfortunately, a nation of sheep is what breeds a government of wolves, and that's what we have today.
00:35:38.000 I look at this, I totally agree.
00:35:40.000 I look at this advertisement, and it feels like a declaration of war.
00:35:44.000 It's not like a hopeful, inspiring, here's what I've done, but it's as if Christopher Nolan was making a trailer about the regime versus the people and the people are being framed as Nazis.
00:35:58.000 Just like the framing of it and the cinematography and the coloring, it's like really heavy.
00:36:05.000 I mean, Vivek, is it too far to say that this current government is almost waging a soft war against the citizens?
00:36:14.000 I don't think that's a stretch to frame it that way, Charlie.
00:36:16.000 To the contrary, I think the real divide in this country is between that managerial class, the unaccountable bureaucrats in the federal government that have propped up Biden and the everyday citizen.
00:36:27.000 And you know what?
00:36:27.000 I think we also have to acknowledge that we are in a kind of cold cultural war in this country.
00:36:33.000 I think we have to open our eyes to that.
00:36:35.000 I think it's not a war between black and white, as the media would try to have you believe.
00:36:39.000 I don't even really think anymore it's between the traditional DNC and the RNC or the traditional Democrat Party and the Republican Party.
00:36:47.000 It is deeper than that.
00:36:48.000 It is between a set of people in this country who hate our country and what it stands for and the majority of us, we the people, who love the United States of America and our founding ideals.
00:36:58.000 And I call this a war.
00:37:00.000 If they want to frame it that way, fine.
00:37:02.000 Let's actually engage at that.
00:37:03.000 I'll say there's no middle ground here between free speech and censorship.
00:37:08.000 There's no middle ground between merit and group quotas, between American exceptionalism and apologizing for who we are.
00:37:15.000 You can't have both of those things at the same time.
00:37:18.000 And so in a certain sense, what is a war?
00:37:20.000 A war is where there's no mutual middle ground between the two options.
00:37:25.000 And one side is using force to perpetuate its views over the other.
00:37:29.000 They're not using free speech in open debate.
00:37:31.000 They've resorted to using force, weaponization of our financial markets, increasingly weaponization of our federal police state and the justice system.
00:37:38.000 And so in some sense, Charlie, he's asking you to see exactly how they see it.
00:37:42.000 Look at the look and feel of that ad.
00:37:44.000 Look at its content.
00:37:45.000 That's exactly what they're telling you.
00:37:47.000 And shame on our side if we're asleep at the Switch and still think that this is, you know, the 1990s, Republicans versus Democrats.
00:37:55.000 In addition, that Joe Biden ad, he's talking about the voting rights in our democracy.
00:37:59.000 They're trying to kick Donald Trump off the ballot.
00:38:01.000 He's facing 700 years in federal prison.
00:38:03.000 It's absolutely insane.
00:38:05.000 So, Vivek, I want you just to give a quick update.
00:38:07.000 How are things on the ground?
00:38:09.000 You know, you've really been going scorched earth here.
00:38:11.000 You're going to run all the way through.
00:38:12.000 It's going to be a photo finish.
00:38:14.000 It's really been amazing to see while Nemarada is doing, you know, billionaire super PAC type stuff in New York trying to raise money.
00:38:21.000 DeSantis is completely gone.
00:38:23.000 I think you're going to surprise a lot of people in Iowa.
00:38:25.000 I have no idea what the final results will be.
00:38:27.000 But what's the vibe?
00:38:28.000 What's the energy?
00:38:29.000 You've been working your tail off in Iowa.
00:38:31.000 Give us an update.
00:38:32.000 The vibe is I think a lot of people on the ground aren't polled.
00:38:35.000 And so I think we're going to deliver a major surprise on January 15th, Charlie.
00:38:38.000 And I've said this is the beginning of the campaign.
00:38:40.000 And I've especially really believe it now.
00:38:43.000 I'd rather speak the truth and lose some election than to win by playing some fake game of political snakes and ladders.
00:38:50.000 So you know what?
00:38:51.000 A lot of the positions that I've taken, they have not been good for large-scale fundraising externally.
00:38:55.000 You know what I'm doing?
00:38:56.000 I'm taking it out of my own pocketbook and putting it into the campaign because I'd rather do that than be somebody else's circus monkey.
00:39:02.000 So whether that's the winning political strategy or not, we'll find out.
00:39:06.000 I bet as it is.
00:39:06.000 I'm trusting the people of this country to tell the difference between a super PAC puppet and somebody who's actually sharing their true convictions.
00:39:14.000 But I'll also tell you something about this year, Charlie.
00:39:16.000 I think we're very, for better or worse, early in this race.
00:39:20.000 And I think this system, these people, they are making clearer by the day.
00:39:25.000 They will stop at nothing.
00:39:26.000 And I mean nothing to keep Donald Trump away from that White House.
00:39:30.000 They're obsessed with that outcome.
00:39:32.000 And I'm increasingly clear, it seems to me at least, Charlie, that they want to narrow this down to a two-horse race between Nikki Haley and Donald Trump, do whatever it takes, stopping at nothing to eliminate Trump from contention, and then trot in their puppet.
00:39:45.000 And so I have an obligation to this country to make sure that doesn't happen.
00:39:49.000 I don't want people to fall for that trap.
00:39:52.000 I think they're selling us the rope today that they will use to hang us tomorrow.
00:39:56.000 And you know what?
00:39:57.000 America First, it didn't begin in 2016.
00:39:59.000 It began in 1776.
00:40:01.000 And so we love Donald Trump and a lot of people here on the ground who I'm meeting do too.
00:40:05.000 But this movement cannot end with this man.
00:40:08.000 He got this fight started, but whatever way this goes, it is our job to finish it.
00:40:13.000 And so all I'm saying for people right now heading into this year is I think this is going to be a year with, I think, some very uncomfortable realities as the system tries to foist on us an outcome that we, the people, could not want.
00:40:28.000 And so it's up to us to be alert to that and make sure we don't fall for that trap.
00:40:33.000 And I'm going to be in this to the very end to make sure that we don't fall into that trap and we can take America first to the next level.
00:40:39.000 Just add a little bit more context just as we close here.
00:40:42.000 Vivek, how much money have you put into this race of your own hard-earned money?
00:40:47.000 It's in the tens of millions.
00:40:48.000 It's in the high 20s, you know, close to $30 million.
00:40:51.000 That's the range we're talking about already.
00:40:53.000 I'd have to look at what the latest is, and there's more going in.
00:40:56.000 So we're just midstream.
00:40:58.000 And Charlie, that's not inherited money.
00:40:59.000 I mean, that's hard-earned money.
00:41:01.000 And yes, even for our family, that doesn't make a big difference, but the inheritance we want to give our kids isn't a bunch of green pieces of paper.
00:41:08.000 What's the point of that if they don't even have a country left to live in?
00:41:13.000 And I do think if we don't get this right in the next five years, 10 years, max, maybe more like five years, I don't think we have a country left, actually.
00:41:22.000 And so I've done more events on the ground than all the other campaigns combined.
00:41:26.000 We will have done 330 events here just in Iowa.
00:41:29.000 That's more than all the other campaigns combined.
00:41:31.000 I've put by far more of my own personal wealth into this campaign than all of the other candidates combined.
00:41:37.000 And so, yeah, I'm not doing that to just go through the motions for whatever other theories different people have about me.
00:41:42.000 I'm here to speak the truth, do the right thing for our country.
00:41:45.000 I'm going to do my part and I'm going to ask the people to do theirs.
00:41:48.000 And I think that's how we get our country back.
00:41:50.000 You could tell a lot whether or not somebody puts their money where their mouth is.
00:41:55.000 $30 million is a lot of money.
00:41:57.000 And God bless you, Vivek.
00:41:59.000 That is really something.
00:42:00.000 Come back soon, Vivek.
00:42:01.000 Keep hitting it hard.
00:42:03.000 Enjoy the great state of Iowa.
00:42:04.000 And I think you're going to surprise a lot of the prognosticators and overperform.
00:42:09.000 Vivek, thanks so much.
00:42:10.000 Talk to you soon.
00:42:11.000 Appreciate it, man.
