00:01:33.000 Hey, everybody, welcome to this episode of the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:01:35.000 With us today is Peter Navarro, one of the most important people that served in the Trump administration and was loyal to the president to the very end, which was somewhat of a rarity.
00:01:48.000 And he has a new book coming out.
00:01:50.000 It might already be out, actually.
00:01:52.000 I don't know, but it's in Trump Time.
00:01:55.000 And I want him to talk about it.
00:01:56.000 Peter, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:01:59.000 Charlie, my friend, hey, look, before we get started, I just want to commend you for building arguably the most important platform for the future of conservatism in the Republican Party.
00:02:13.000 You are able to harness the young folks of America.
00:02:17.000 These are the new deplorables.
00:02:19.000 These are the people who, because of the policies of the globalists, the Biden regime, and others, are being treated essentially like serfs.
00:02:31.000 They won't own a car.
00:02:32.000 They won't own a home.
00:02:33.000 It's going to have a hard time to form a family, things like that.
00:02:36.000 But Charlie Kirk's out there with Turning Point USA.
00:02:40.000 As I say here, Turning Point USA rocks.
00:02:44.000 And so kudos to you, sir.
00:02:46.000 The book itself in Trump Time, just for the record, it's available now on Amazon.
00:02:53.000 It's already a bestseller on Amazon for pre-order.
00:02:57.000 I'd really appreciate it if anybody there out there in Turning Point Land goes to Amazon.
00:03:02.000 Charlie will give you a link, maybe put up on his website.
00:03:06.000 But the book's important because it's the last year, it's my journal, literally, America's Plague Year.
00:03:13.000 It's the last year of the Trump administration.
00:03:16.000 And we really are dedicated getting to the truth of three things.
00:03:20.000 And I know Charlie is too.
00:03:22.000 What happened on November 3rd, the election?
00:03:24.000 What happened on January 6th?
00:03:27.000 And what happened in that Wuhan lab with the pandemic?
00:03:32.000 And there's all sorts of heroes, but there's a lot of villains in Trump Time as well.
00:03:36.000 So I want to talk about the villains because that's more interesting and I think more important, especially as we think about what kind of conservative movement do we want to build long term, the MAGA movement, the nationalist movement in a good way.
00:03:49.000 Let's talk, let's just pick about one of those things one by one.
00:03:53.000 Let's talk about the election first 11-3, which I was not overly shocked, but very disappointed that Republican governors in certain swing states were so unprepared for the deluge of mail and ballots for the changing in voter laws.
00:04:10.000 How is it that, how is it, Peter, that the Trump campaign, not President Trump, but parts of the campaign and the Republican Party were so unprepared for what the Democrats did to us on Election Day?
00:04:24.000 Yeah, that's a great, great question, Charlie.
00:04:26.000 And just as we talk today, I'm not going to be coy about things for no other reason.
00:04:34.000 However, then the book's coming out not till November 3rd, and I'm under some obligation not to reveal too much.
00:04:41.000 Having said that, there's several chapters in the book that address what essentially was the incompetence at some point with the campaign, but also I think the treachery.
00:04:55.000 And there's people in there who were basically trying to run the show, didn't do a very good job.
00:05:02.000 But after November 3rd, when push came to shove, when we really should have been contesting the election like happened with Bush v. Gore, they were caught with their pants down.
00:05:15.000 And they compounded the errors I talk about in Trump Time by not putting their pants back up when it came time.
00:05:23.000 And there's a, you know, I let that go for a few weeks after the election because that wasn't my lane.
00:05:31.000 I had stuff to do at the White House.
00:05:33.000 But at one point, and it was Thanksgiving Day, I walked into my office.
00:05:38.000 You know, the tagline in the book is no turkey, no football, no problem.
00:05:43.000 I sat down and rolled up my sleeves and went about authoring what became a three-volume report on election irregularities, election fraud.
00:05:53.000 It's a Navarro report.
00:05:55.000 I reprise that in the book In Trump Time and dramatically expand on it, a la the results we're getting from Arizona.
00:06:03.000 But Charlie, the thing that really struck me was the long time horizon that the Democrat Party used to steal the election.
00:06:15.000 It wasn't overnight.
00:06:16.000 It wasn't just in the year of the pandemic.
00:06:20.000 They literally began preparing to steal that election literally the nanosecond after Donald Trump got elected.
00:06:30.000 And shame on several people in the campaign, as I do, for not being ready for that.
00:06:38.000 When, and again, in the book, In Trump Time, I explain in detail the information they had actually gotten, Charlie, but did not act on.
00:06:50.000 When is the last time you think you had American meat?
00:06:52.000 Chances are it's been way too long.

00:08:04.000 Not all meat that says American meat is actually American meat because they just put that label on there and it's actually not totally true.
00:08:12.000 If it's just cut in America, it can be called American meats.
00:08:15.000 Go to goodranchers.com/slash Charlie or use promo code Charlie at checkout.
00:08:19.000 Do it right now.
00:08:22.000 Well, and this is one of the things that frustrates me the most, Peter.
00:08:27.000 And I had nowhere near as many meetings as you did like this, but I remember being in the outer oval.
00:08:33.000 I think that's what they called it, the small office that the president always sit and do meetings.
00:08:37.000 Yeah, that's where Stevino Scavino sits.
00:08:40.000 One of the best buds in the White House.
00:08:43.000 Yes.
00:08:45.000 Who was in there?
00:08:46.000 Who were the suspects in there?
00:08:47.000 So it wasn't the outer oval.
00:08:49.000 It was then the area where the president had, he would used to watch TV and the dining room.
00:08:55.000 That's a great place to be.
00:08:57.000 So I hadn't been there nearly as much as you, but I remember being there in July of last summer, and he was getting phone calls from operatives in Georgia saying there's nothing to worry about in the mail and ballots.
00:09:08.000 Everything is fine.
00:09:10.000 And the president's instincts were, no, there is something wrong with this.
00:09:14.000 And I did my part and obviously failed miserably to try to tell him that he was being lied to by certain operatives in Georgia.
00:09:22.000 And as we know, we were proven right because Brian Kemp secretly and privately signed a consent decree with Stacey Abrams, relaxing the signature threshold as we go from 248,000 ballots to 1.2 million ballots.
00:09:35.000 I know you talk about this in your book, and you have to kind of maneuver through that.
00:09:39.000 So we have to have you back on our program once the book is public.
00:09:42.000 But can you talk about that, Peter, on how the president's instincts were correct the whole time and he seemed to be undermined?
00:09:48.000 It's so frustrating.
00:09:50.000 Well, there's a couple of players like Cleta Mitchell, for example, is one of the heroines in Trump Time.
00:09:57.000 And I'll just give you a little sliver.
00:09:59.000 I mean, she was all over this.
00:10:02.000 I mean, she knew what was going on, but she was battling people both down in Georgia as well as people inside the White House.
00:10:11.000 And I think that there was a lack of ability to see very clearly just how treacherous that Brian Kemp and Raffensberger were.
00:10:25.000 Here's, you know, if you peel back the curtain here on how they stole it, one of the themes in the book in Trump Time is how they captured Charlie, the secretaries of state position across the country.
00:10:42.000 Most people think of that as a down ballot position that doesn't have much consequence.
00:10:49.000 It's maybe a stepping stone for lieutenant governor or governor in most days.
00:10:53.000 But no, The Democrats understood very clearly that it's the secretaries of state that run the election process.
00:11:02.000 And if you can grab those folks and get them on your side, they can help you steal elections.
00:11:10.000 So I go into detail about what happened in Michigan, what happened in Pennsylvania with the secretaries of state.
00:11:18.000 They were Democrats, but I mean, in Arizona and Georgia, Charlie, those are Republicans, right?
00:11:27.000 Those are Republicans that screwed the president.
00:11:30.000 And, you know, shame, shame on them.
00:11:33.000 Shame on the Republican Party.
00:11:36.000 And look, here's the thing, Charlie.
00:11:38.000 You fight this every day.
00:11:40.000 There's a battle for the heart and soul of the Republican Party right now.
00:11:44.000 Trump, USA, Turning Point USA represent the deplorables.
00:11:50.000 They represent secure borders, an end to endless wars.
00:11:55.000 They represent manufacturing jobs onshore here in America.
00:12:01.000 They represent getting tough on China.
00:12:04.000 A lot of the Rhino-Republicans are just, they're on the opposite side of that, right?
00:12:10.000 They want to send our jobs to China.
00:12:12.000 Why is that?
00:12:13.000 Because they're controlled by corporate donors.
00:12:17.000 Down in Georgia, it's Coca-Cola and Delta that run politics down there.
00:12:23.000 And what they want to do is send our jobs offshore.
00:12:26.000 They like open borders because it's cheap labor.
00:12:30.000 They don't really care about endless wars other than the fact that maybe it's good for the defense industry.
00:12:38.000 And this is what the battle is about, right?
00:12:43.000 And you saw very clearly, Charlie, who abandoned ship after November 3rd.
00:12:48.000 You indicated at the beginning of this discussion, you saw that there were very few people who remained loyal to the president because they thought he was weakened and dead, but he's coming back, right?
00:13:01.000 Because the power of his ideas are really what's grabbing this nation.
00:13:07.000 And we're seeing now, look, elections have consequences, Charlie.
00:13:10.000 Stolen elections have particularly dire consequences.
00:13:14.000 So let's talk on that because it seems that so many people in the Republican Party are afraid to talk about how this last election was conducted illegally.
00:13:23.000 And you have been one of the few people that have been willing to articulate this in a way that the common man can understand in the different buckets.
00:13:34.000 You just start with social media interference, about how the tech companies didn't allow us to spread the Hunter Biden story.
00:13:40.000 And you talked about the ballots issues, and you talked about the counting issues, and you just talked about the administrative issues of how the whole election was conducted illegally and the $400 million from Mark Zuckerberg.
00:13:49.000 You put all this together.
00:13:50.000 At the very least, the most innocent reading is that this was the most interfered with election in American history in an unprecedented way.
00:13:59.000 And yet you go a level deeper, all of a sudden, you say at a pretty moderate reading, this thing was conducted fraudulently.
00:14:07.000 And the conclusion is one that you and I believe that it was taken from the president, but was at the very least done in a way that we don't even know the winner.
00:14:17.000 So let's talk about Arizona.
00:14:18.000 Is it time to decertify Arizona or go in that direction based on what the audit results have showed us?
00:14:26.000 No doubt, Charlie.
00:14:28.000 And in my, what I called the Navarro report, and I did that not out of ego, but simply to make sure that it was clearly identified as an action outside my White House duties.
00:14:42.000 Okay.
00:14:42.000 That's why we call it the Navarro report, the three-volume report.
00:14:46.000 And what's really interesting is that those three volumes, the tables in there, were used basically subsequent as a template for these audits that were done in Arizona.
00:15:00.000 They're being done in Georgia.
00:15:02.000 They're being pursued in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
00:15:07.000 And what's interesting, Charlie, is that what I did was I poured over thousands and thousands of affidavits.
00:15:16.000 I read every court case.
00:15:18.000 I looked into all the press coverage of this and used my skills as a Harvard researcher basically to do estimates of likely illegal votes.
00:15:29.000 And so if you take Arizona, you've got an alleged Biden victory margin of about 11,000 votes.
00:15:36.000 I mean, That's so small that right there, you know, that Fox News never should have called Arizona prematurely, right?
00:15:44.000 Right there.
00:15:45.000 That's way too small.
00:15:47.000 But here's the thing: you know, what this initial audit has found in Arizona is a 5X delta.
00:15:58.000 In other words, there's over 50,000 votes that are illegal that were identified as illegal in Arizona by this audit.
00:16:10.000 Okay.
00:16:11.000 And that's in Maricopa County alone.
00:16:14.000 And it doesn't include the category of the illegal aliens.
00:16:17.000 So it's a conservative lower bound estimate of the number of illegal ballots in Arizona.
00:16:23.000 Now, let's do the math.
00:16:25.000 Those 50,000 plus votes are absentee and mail-in ballots.
00:16:30.000 Why does that matter?
00:16:31.000 It means that we know for a fact that Biden, Trump won at the ballot box.
00:16:41.000 Biden won in the absentee ballots, at least some of us were cast.
00:16:47.000 So there's like a two-to-one to three-to-one margin that Biden holds in these absentee ballots.
00:16:53.000 So if you take 50,000 illegal ones out, right, that's a two-to-one or three-to-one swing from Trump.
00:17:01.000 And right there, those ballots alone, Charlie, by the Navarro report math, say that Trump won Arizona.
00:17:09.000 And that's that, they're just getting started.
00:17:13.000 Did you know that if you shop at Nike, they turn around and give your hard-earned dollars to pro-abortion groups like Planned Parenthood and the Population Council?
00:17:21.000 Sinister folks, by the way.
00:17:22.000 Did you know that Airbnb gave $500,000 to the Marxist BLM Incorporated Organization?
00:17:30.000 Your first vote is at the ballot box, but that isn't enough to defend our traditional Judeo-Christian values.
00:17:37.000 Left-wing corporations who are woke are subverting our nation and our republic by taking money from conservative customers and giving it to radical organizations that support abortion, gun control, and critical race theory.
00:17:53.000 You have another vote, a second vote at the checkout line, which is why there's a massively important organization called Second Vote that comes in.
00:18:02.000 I know them very well.
00:18:03.000 I've known them for years, and I'm so honored to partner with them.
00:18:06.000 And the courageous people at Second Vote are exposing corporations for how they spend your money.

00:18:23.000 Their work is arduous, complex, and exhaustive, and it doesn't happen for free.

00:19:29.000 Secondvote.com has every company ranked.
00:19:33.000 It's a beautiful thing.

00:19:41.000 Well, and that's just one county.
00:19:43.000 So we're here in Arizona right now.
00:19:44.000 That's so sometimes this gets mislabeled.
00:19:47.000 We need FEMA, we need Cochise, we need the illegal aliens.
00:19:50.000 We need a Cocadino.
00:19:52.000 I always say it's the canvas, not the count, Charlie.
00:19:54.000 Yes, it's like there was like the left-wing press, um, and even like the Wall Street Journal and Fox seized upon a little piece of that news from Arizona to say that there was nothing in the count that indicated that Trump won.
00:20:14.000 Well, the point really was it was the canvas.
00:20:17.000 It's like if you've got like a million votes counted and then you recount them and you still got a million votes, that's the count.
00:20:26.000 But if 20% of those votes are illegal, that's the canvas.
00:20:30.000 And that's what happened, Charlie.
00:20:32.000 It's in Trump Time, the book, I go into this thing.
00:20:36.000 It's the strategy of the, I call it the grand stuff the ballot box strategy.
00:20:42.000 And it had two prongs to it.
00:20:44.000 It's really stuff that ballot box using things like ballot harvesting.
00:20:50.000 But at the same time, Charlie, this is the important point: is take the election cops off the beat.
00:20:55.000 That's what they did in Georgia with that consent decree.
00:20:57.000 It's like, so Trump won, bottom line.
00:21:02.000 And I think when people get to the end of in Trump time, they're going to realize that Fauci lied and Americans died and that he's likely responsible for the pandemic and he needs to be gone.
00:21:14.000 They're going to find out that Trump won the election.
00:21:16.000 They're going to find out basically all the things that China, communist China, has to do with all of this.
00:21:24.000 So talk about being in the White House with the serpent around you, Fauci.
00:21:30.000 And some people would say, and I just have to, I defend the president in this regard, even though I think that one adjustment could have been very helpful.
00:21:39.000 Some people say, why didn't he fire Fauci?
00:21:41.000 I think that would have been a mistake because that would have created a martyr on the outside.
00:21:44.000 Do I think that he should have tried to put him on a committee and try to lessen his impact?
00:21:49.000 Yes.
00:21:49.000 I think keeping Fauci around the White House was something that actually benefited the other side of the regime.
00:21:55.000 Can you talk about how treacherous this man is, how he manipulated the government, quite honestly, how he was able to lie to President Trump?
00:22:04.000 Well, there's some great scenes in the book.
00:22:08.000 I tried to write the book for the ear rather than the eye.
00:22:12.000 So it's like we're having a conversation, but I also try to make it cinematic as well.
00:22:18.000 And there's a number of showdowns I have with Fauci.
00:22:21.000 And his second chapter really is my first encounter with Fauci in the Situation Room.
00:22:27.000 And here's, you know, I didn't know him beforehand.
00:22:31.000 I had no preconceptions about him at all.
00:22:36.000 And that was a meeting about the China travel ban.
00:22:38.000 And by the time I got to the end of the meeting, I thought to myself, this is a man who thinks he's smarter than he is.
00:22:46.000 He's arrogant, full of hubris, and he's going to stab the president in the back.
00:22:50.000 And that was on January 28th, 2020, Charlie.
00:22:54.000 And that was based on 30 minutes in the situation room.
00:22:58.000 Take I weighed and measure him, and he came up wanting.
00:23:02.000 And there would be spots all through writing up to Election Day.
00:23:08.000 And I show this in the book in detail.
00:23:10.000 I tell you, Charlie, by the time people get reading and finish reading in Trump time, Sherry Markson's book, What Happened, Wuhan, and Robert Kennedy's book about Fauci and the source of the Wuhan lab.
00:23:24.000 If that guy still has a job, then this country and this country's media is even more screwed up than you and I believe it is.
00:23:33.000 And we believe it's really screwed up because Fauci, I mean, at every turn, at every turn, he tried to stick knives in the back and chest of the president of the United States.
00:23:46.000 So to feather his own nest and big pharma's nest.
00:23:49.000 Yeah, and I'm not trying to get into the coulda, woulda, shoulda stuff.
00:23:52.000 I think that's largely unhelpful.
00:23:54.000 I do think it's important, though, to figure out who are the people that were undermining the mandate to govern in a very specific way.
00:24:02.000 And Fauci is one of those people.
00:24:04.000 And so I do want to ask the question, though, because there was a movement led by you as we found out that this came from China to stop some sort of a movement to try and make China pay for the virus.
00:24:16.000 Yes.
00:24:18.000 There was a potential legislative effort.
00:24:20.000 Now, the rumor, Mill of my sources, which are nowhere nearly like yours because you actually lived it, is that Mnuchin and some people in the treasury got in the way of this and said this will tank the market.
00:24:30.000 You can't do this.
00:24:31.000 Don't do that.
00:24:33.000 Is it true that there was a movement that was stopped to try to hold China accountable while President Trump was in office?
00:24:41.000 Yeah, there's a whole two chapters in the book about the arc of my attempt to get an executive order signed that would have created a presidential commission to examine the origins of the virus,
00:24:59.000 the costs of the virus, and Charlie, also how China, communist China, is using the virus as we speak to further their geopolitical advantage.
00:25:12.000 For example, Hong Kong, on that note, Hong Kong would still be free today if not for the Communist Chinese Party virus.
00:25:21.000 Why?
00:25:22.000 Because the CCP used the virus to lock protesters into their apartments, prevent them from protesting, and with no one on the streets, they basically took their jack boots and put the hammer down.
00:25:38.000 Mnuchin, by the time you get to the end of the book, I think it'll be a toss-up as to whether Fauci or Mnuchin did more damage to this Republic than this president.
00:25:49.000 He's a bad guy.
00:25:49.000 I fought him from day one.
00:25:52.000 I think you saw kind of the recent news how he raised a couple billion now for his hedge fund.
00:25:58.000 The headline was it came from Saudi Arabia.
00:26:00.000 But the reality is a lot of Chinese money funneled in into that.
00:26:06.000 And he's trying to hide that.
00:26:07.000 He's a bad dude, and you'll see that in Trump time, big time.
00:26:14.000 If you run a conservative or faith-based business or organizations that accept credit cards for donations, events and merchandise or anything, listen carefully.

00:27:10.000 Again, that's cornerstone.cc slash K-I-R-K.
00:27:14.000 Let them know I sent you.
00:27:19.000 Well, and what's so disappointing is that despite what we believe happened with the mail-in ballots and all the process, I think that this was a failed opportunity politically to create a necessary villain in the midst of suffering.
00:27:34.000 And the media knew this and the corporate class knew this because when people are suffering, they need a villain.
00:27:40.000 And guess what?
00:27:41.000 For some Americans, Donald Trump filled that villain void and wrongly.
00:27:47.000 But the media was looking for someone to blame.
00:27:49.000 And I just, the president's instincts were terrific, try to call it China virus and all this.
00:27:54.000 But instead, yeah, please, it seems like you want to chime in.
00:27:58.000 So please.
00:27:59.000 Well, you're absolutely right, Charlie.
00:28:00.000 I mean, it was, it was, I had a number of misses and regrets in the White House because of people like Mnuchin.
00:28:10.000 That I think might be the biggest one, the fact that I couldn't get that executive order to signature.
00:28:18.000 And I say that now because I still got that order and Congress ought to do it.
00:28:25.000 The Biden regime, we know, won't do it, but they should.
00:28:29.000 We need to hold China, communist China, the Chinese Communist Party, accountable for the costs and get reparation.
00:28:37.000 I mean, again, in the book in Trump Time, I have a whole half a chapter on how much that costs us, right?
00:28:45.000 And I go into granular detail as I always do, but I can tell you the top line is north of $20 trillion or a year's worth of our GDP.
00:28:54.000 We should, I mean, look, they've killed.
00:28:57.000 I mean, there's blood on Fauci's hands.
00:28:59.000 There's blood on CNN's hands.
00:29:00.000 There's blood on the Chinese Communist Party hands.
00:29:03.000 And so far, all of those folks are skating free of blame because the game, Charlie, was to blame Donald Trump for all the woes afflicting us.
00:29:15.000 Now we see, hey, Joe Biden, hey, Joe, it's harder than it looks.
00:29:22.000 Okay.
00:29:23.000 Donald Trump did a heck of a job.
00:29:25.000 And the people who were around him, the good ones, giving him good advice, did a heck of a job as well.
00:29:31.000 Because at the end of the day, we had the strongest economy, modern history.
00:29:35.000 We stood up to China.
00:29:37.000 We closed that border.
00:29:39.000 And now we're seeing what happens when you have incompetence, corruption, globalists running the show.
00:29:44.000 So the book is in Trump Time.
00:29:46.000 We are going to link to it at charliekirk.com because we want to make sure the good guys get supported.
00:29:46.000 Everyone, check it out.
00:29:52.000 And I could tell you guys, I visited the White House a couple dozen times, and I got to know some people all over the White House in the Eisenhower executive building, where I believe, Peter, you had a whole office there.
00:30:04.000 And Peter was one of the only people that would constantly be trying to actually fulfill the mandate of why Donald Trump got elected.
00:30:14.000 He was there early.
00:30:15.000 He was there late.
00:30:16.000 And I don't want to spoil any parts of the book, and I don't want to get anything wrong, but I could name plenty of names of people in the White House.
00:30:24.000 And I played nice with everybody because it just wasn't my role.
00:30:27.000 I'm a civilian, right?
00:30:28.000 I'm not there that were undermining the president on a day-to-day basis.
00:30:32.000 He doesn't know better.
00:30:34.000 We know better than he does.
00:30:35.000 And Peter, do you want to comment on that?
00:30:37.000 Because I think it's just from my own superficial reading or...
00:30:41.000 It's field on the anniversary of the election when the book is finally released.
00:30:45.000 And I'll come back on your show if you want to have me.
00:30:48.000 And we'll compare our villains and heroes.
00:30:52.000 But this here, by the way, turning point USA rocks to clear about that.
00:30:56.000 But this was actually the view from my office.
00:31:00.000 I had the corner office on the first floor of the so-called EEOB.
00:31:05.000 I was in there.
00:31:07.000 And, you know, it was the tragedy of the administration.
00:31:14.000 And I know the president will get this right when he wins in 2024.
00:31:19.000 But, you know, we had Mattis, we had Tillerson, we had Mnuchin, we had Kelly.
00:31:28.000 We had all sorts of people who really did not support the Trump agenda and, in many cases, actively undermined it, did not obey the chain of command, particularly ironic for the military guys, the Mattis and the Kellys.
00:31:42.000 I mean, the chain of command is supposed to be everything.
00:31:45.000 Here you had the commander-in-chief, and they wouldn't follow orders.
00:31:49.000 I mean, it's a shame on them.
00:31:51.000 I think McMaster fell into the same crew, but there were others in there, and I'll get deep into that when the time comes.
00:31:59.000 So you've said it already, but let's re-emphasize it for our listeners.
00:32:03.000 Trump's running again in 2024.
00:32:06.000 It sure looks that way.
00:32:07.000 And if so, what's the plan?
00:32:09.000 What is anything different?
00:32:11.000 Is it going to be more 2016-style Trump, or are we going to see a Trump 2.0?
00:32:15.000 I'm curious your take on that.
00:32:19.000 Look, during the 2016 campaign, I was the top economic and trade advisor, and I developed this mantra, which became kind of the mantra of the administration.
00:32:32.000 It was like four points of the policy compass to drive growth.
00:32:36.000 And it was corporate tax cuts to bring investment on shore.
00:32:44.000 It was strategic energy dominance so that we could have cheap energy.
00:32:51.000 It was deregulation.
00:32:53.000 And most important for my remit, it was not free trade, but fair trade for American workers.
00:33:00.000 When I got in there, the president developed some additional things that I was involved in them.
00:33:09.000 One of them was dramatically increasing the defense budget.
00:33:12.000 So that was a fifth point of the compass.
00:33:14.000 And then the other thing was arms transfers to our allies.
00:33:18.000 The previous administrations didn't want to sell weapons systems to our allies so that they could practice it.
00:33:24.000 But that creates a heck of amount of jobs.
00:33:26.000 So in terms of growth, that's, Charlie, that's the foundation of how we were able to consistently beat economic projections.
00:33:35.000 2024 is going to be hellish because we're going to be in a worse place than we were coming in.
00:33:43.000 We were inheriting in 2016 the slow growth of the Obama-Biden regime.
00:33:50.000 In 2024, President Trump is likely going to be inheriting a significant stagflation, which is a combination of recession and inflation.
00:34:00.000 It's going to be very, very challenging.
00:34:02.000 We're going to have to repair relationships.
00:34:04.000 I mean, with Israel, for example, the Biden administration, he's got the squad.
00:34:09.000 He's got Omar and Talib, two, the most despicable people I've ever seen in public office.
00:34:13.000 I totally basically destroying our foreign policy in the Middle East.
00:34:18.000 So there's a lot of wreckage that we're going to have to clean up.
00:34:24.000 But the book in Trump Time lays out the vision.
00:34:28.000 The last in the epilogue, I go at length about what the shouldas be.
00:34:34.000 A lot of the book is coulda, woulda, but at the end, it's the shoulda.
00:34:39.000 And I'm looking towards the future.
00:34:41.000 It's exactly what we're doing.
00:34:42.000 And good for you, Charlie, for fighting this crazy forced vaccination policy, particularly for our children and young and healthy people.
00:34:52.000 But good for you.
00:34:53.000 Thank you.
00:34:54.000 We announced it back in early July to the kind of chagrin of so many institutional conservatives.
00:34:59.000 Oh, no one's mandating it.
00:35:01.000 I said, of course they're mandating it.
00:35:02.000 Just wait to see what comes next.
00:35:04.000 And we've won some battles and lost some battles.
00:35:06.000 I've been stunned, honestly, Peter, at how many Republicans have been okay with these forced vaccinations.
00:35:11.000 Okay, you have a tough stop, a hard stop, and so do we in two minutes.
00:35:14.000 Speak to the everyday man, the common citizen.
00:35:16.000 They buy your book in Trump Time, which they need to do.
00:35:18.000 What can they do from now to 2022 and 2024?
00:35:22.000 Because people's patience is wearing thin.
00:35:25.000 Yeah, well, the canon of Bannon is a report in Trump Time is action, action, action.
00:35:32.000 So paying attention to what Turning Point USA is doing.
00:35:36.000 I'm a guest host a lot on C. Bannon's war room pandemic.
00:35:40.000 We have all sorts of action items for people to do to get involved at the local politics level, to take over the Republican Party in the name of Trumpism, to force full forensic audits, to get to the bottom of the truth.
00:35:55.000 It's important that the young folk here, not just bitch and moan on social media, that they get out and get involved because you guys are the future, Charlie.
00:36:07.000 And if you want a great future, you're going to have to help shape it with Trumpism and Donald Trump.
00:36:15.000 And so that would be my advice: action, action, action, get involved.
00:36:21.000 And it's sure been nice talking to you.
00:36:24.000 Very good.
00:36:24.000 Peter, thank you so much.
00:36:25.000 In Trump Time, everyone, check it out.
00:36:26.000 We'll also link to it at charliekirk.com to your preferred link.
00:36:30.000 Keep up the great work, Peter.
00:36:31.000 God bless you.
00:36:31.000 Thank you so much.
00:36:32.000 You too, Charlie.
00:36:33.000 Bye-bye.
00:36:33.000 Thanks.
00:36:33.000 Bye.
