00:01:23.000 Thank you.
00:01:24.000 Please take a seat.
00:01:27.000 We have a great guest for you tonight, but I just want to open up with one question and a message.
00:01:34.000 What would you do if you saw a miracle?
00:01:37.000 You know, when I would get into discussions with atheists on campus, they'd say, if I only saw a miracle, then I would believe in God.
00:01:45.000 And I always was not convinced by that.
00:01:47.000 I was like, I don't know if you see a miracle.
00:01:49.000 As Woody Allen would say, I don't want to hear God speak.
00:01:52.000 If he would just sneeze, that would be nice.
00:01:56.000 On July 13th, it was the most televised, most witnessed miracle in the history of humanity.
00:02:06.000 There are many takeaways from this, and it just goes to show how true the Bible is.
00:02:13.000 So you're reading the Old Testament, you're reading Exodus, and God blows quail off course and manna from heaven, he splits the Red Sea, and you have the The 10 plagues against Egypt.
00:02:23.000 And you think to yourself, how could these people not believe in God after all of that?
00:02:30.000 They see God work and they see God move.
00:02:33.000 How could they forget God's goodness and God's mercy and God's kindness after they see all of that?
00:02:40.000 How many times have you thought of that when you're reading the Bible?
00:02:42.000 Oh, these Hebrews, God's chosen people, forgetful.
00:02:46.000 I'm not like them.
00:02:47.000 If I saw a miracle, I would never forget.
00:02:52.000 We are not even a month removed from the most witnessed miracle in history.
00:02:59.000 And I want to, of course, appreciate that and thank the Lord for that.
00:03:03.000 But the first thing is, how forgetful of a nation are we?
00:03:09.000 We say, oh God, just show me your presence and I'll never forget.
00:03:13.000 What did God spare us from that day?
00:03:16.000 By two centimeters, by the way.
00:03:19.000 And not just two centimeters.
00:03:21.000 We are talking about a microsecond of a head tilt.
00:03:25.000 A, oh, let's go look at how bad Biden is on the border.
00:03:28.000 Voom.
00:03:29.000 Two centimeters.
00:03:30.000 Top of the ear.
00:03:32.000 Which, as a side note, I refuse to believe what the U.S.
00:03:36.000 Secret Service is telling us about this.
00:03:38.000 There is far more to this story.
00:03:39.000 That's all I'm going to say.
00:03:40.000 There is far more.
00:03:44.000 130 yards away right there.
00:03:46.000 Imagine what this country would have been, because it's bigger than just the tragedy would be of that human being dying, who all of us admire in one way or the other.
00:03:58.000 This country would have been lit on fire in a way that we still would not be healed.
00:04:05.000 And we see there is no, in my opinion, reasonable explanation to that, of why he decided to tilt his head at that particular time How it came so close and how forgetful are we?
00:04:19.000 For people that say, if I just saw one miracle and someone in this audience says, yeah, I don't know if I believe in God yet.
00:04:24.000 I mean, I just think that it was just a happy coincidence.
00:04:26.000 It's like, okay, you know that a mathematician ran the numbers and he said that it was a one in a ten and a half billion chance.
00:04:35.000 That his head would be tilted at just that moment with the wind and the scope.
00:04:39.000 And by the way, for those of you that have shot firearms before, specifically AR-15s competitively, that is like a little of a, it's like a tap in putt in golf.
00:04:51.000 That's 130 yards straight on.
00:04:54.000 And I just think it's a really important thing because this is why we read the scriptures where God was like, you know, I kept on showing you miracles about my goodness and you are a forgetful people.
00:05:04.000 And we are a forgetful people.
00:05:06.000 And we need to ask him for his mercy and his forgiveness, and we must repent.
00:05:11.000 Because I'm even victim of this.
00:05:13.000 Where I say, you know, God, where are you going to act?
00:05:15.000 Where are you going to work?
00:05:15.000 Wow, we saw it in real time.
00:05:18.000 And it is dangerous to speculate exactly what God was doing that day.
00:05:23.000 Because someone still lost his life, and we should remember that.
00:05:26.000 Cory Capetroni, this amazing firefighter, who, by the way, we should all wish to die the way he died, protecting his daughter and dying for his daughter.
00:05:34.000 The most beautiful death somebody could die.
00:05:39.000 But one thing is very clear, is that God gave this country another chance.
00:05:44.000 That is what is clear.
00:05:45.000 And I don't just mean politically.
00:05:47.000 The damage and the heaviness that we would still feel for years on end, the civil discord would, I don't know if this country would recover.
00:05:58.000 I don't know.
00:05:59.000 I don't know if we would have been able to reconcile from that, but it didn't happen that way.
00:06:05.000 And I just look at this image.
00:06:06.000 Can we show the image up on screen?
00:06:08.000 And I just have to editorialize for a second.
00:06:10.000 I just, I mean, And by the way, two weeks after this, you have people in the media that are saying, oh, he's a coward.
00:06:22.000 Unlike the wannabe vice president, you know, Bernie Sanders of the beer belly, who's going around lying about being in a military service, this guy actually got shot.
00:06:36.000 And he reacted like that.
00:06:38.000 And you know who somebody is when they face real opposition.
00:06:45.000 And I just have a couple other takeaways, and then we'll bring Drew up.
00:06:49.000 Did you notice something?
00:06:50.000 And it's an incredibly instructive lesson for all of us in times of uncertainty.
00:06:56.000 What was the most unusual element of that afternoon and when the shooting happened?
00:07:02.000 How the crowd didn't panic.
00:07:07.000 And the media, by the way, the media has never been More of an enemy of the American people these last couple of weeks.
00:07:14.000 It's just so disgusting and so nauseating.
00:07:17.000 And not a single person in the media decided to explain it.
00:07:21.000 Where usually when you have these incidents, people die in stampedes to the exit.
00:07:27.000 There are panics.
00:07:29.000 People are fighting each other.
00:07:30.000 And instead, there was almost this calm that set over them.
00:07:37.000 And it could be the Holy Spirit.
00:07:38.000 Or it could be something even more simple.
00:07:41.000 Which is, they were looking to their leader at that moment.
00:07:46.000 And he wasn't panicking.
00:07:48.000 So they didn't panic.
00:07:53.000 And you think about that, when you're in a family situation, or you are in a business situation, or you are in a political situation, and the person in charge is stable and calm, people will remain stable and calm.
00:08:12.000 Where he emerges from that, and he says, fight, fight, fight, which I think is still one of the most iconic things ever.
00:08:19.000 And you know Google is taking down this image.
00:08:21.000 They have literally memory hold this.
00:08:22.000 Welcome to 1984.
00:08:23.000 If you type in Donald Trump assassination attempt, it's very hard to find this on search engines.
00:08:30.000 I wonder why.
00:08:32.000 But the lesson I think for all of us is that panic is the unfolding of any decent society.
00:08:39.000 And what you saw there was something so special and so unique and unusual, which is that when people see the person in charge, even if he's shot, even they know that gunshots were just fired and they're standing still.
00:08:54.000 There could have been a second or third shooter.
00:08:56.000 There could have been, and they were like, you know what?
00:08:57.000 No, but our leader is not freaking out.
00:09:02.000 And you extrapolate that to the rest of society is that In a moment of crisis, which our country has multiple crises right now, inflation, border, foreign policy, if the leader is calm with direction and says to the people that follow him or she says to them, it's going to be okay.
00:09:25.000 Here is the way forward.
00:09:27.000 That is how you keep not just civility, but you keep civilization intact.
00:09:34.000 And I want you to imagine What a lesser person would have done.
00:09:38.000 And I want you to just have this tattooed into your memory.
00:09:41.000 I don't care if he speaks too long for you.
00:09:42.000 I don't care if you don't like his social media posts.
00:09:46.000 We have become immune in the West from the post-1400s of our leaders that no longer see combat.
00:09:53.000 In the Roman times and the medieval times, they would always go to the front lines and you would find out who was real and who was not.
00:09:59.000 All of our leaders are totally distanced from actual suffering and actual combat.
00:10:05.000 And you saw in a window who somebody actually is.
00:10:08.000 Who's somebody who is willing to stand up to death itself and fight for you.
00:10:17.000 And it was the most televised miracle in the history of the world.
00:10:20.000 And have mercy on us if we forget it.
00:10:22.000 And have mercy on us if we start acting arrogantly as if God is not sovereign and not in control.
00:10:29.000 It should bring you comfort that God loves us enough and that there is a plan working out and that we have to be obedient.
00:10:38.000 And the final thing I'll say is this, what if, and I don't know this for a fact, what if God saved his life so that he could test his church?
00:10:48.000 What if he saved his life to say, okay, American church, what are you made of?
00:10:54.000 Are you going to act obediently?
00:10:55.000 Or are you going to just turn your back on a miracle?
00:10:59.000 Are you going to fight for liberty, which is my idea, the Lord's idea, or are you just going to say, I don't want to do that politics thing.
00:11:07.000 Maybe he gave an opportunity for us to not go into a civil war, but instead say, American church, do you want to keep this civilization going?
00:11:15.000 Or are you going to want to return to Egypt?
00:11:19.000 where you were slaves under Pharaoh.
00:11:21.000 Praise God that Donald Trump is still alive, and praise God that our best days are still ahead.
00:11:26.000 Join me in welcoming Drew Hammer, who's a dear friend of mine,
00:11:30.000 and you're gonna love this conversation.
00:11:31.000 Get on your feet and welcome Drew Hammer, everybody.
00:11:33.000 Thank you.
00:11:45.000 Hello.
00:11:46.000 So great to be here.
00:11:48.000 Thank you.
00:11:48.000 Thank you, Drew.
00:11:49.000 And we've become fast friends in the last couple of months.
00:11:53.000 And you have a great book out, Hammered, but not that type of hammered, just so we're clear.
00:11:59.000 Well, you know, it's a play on words with my name.
00:12:02.000 And then I was thinking, well, maybe just somebody will walk by and see Hammered and think, well, that could be funny.
00:12:08.000 Maybe someone wrote a book when they're smashed.
00:12:10.000 So it's not about that.
00:12:12.000 It is about every heart has been hammered.
00:12:17.000 And people will fail us, people will hurt us, but God will never fail us.
00:12:22.000 And that's what this book is about.
00:12:25.000 So Drew, you have this incredible story of how you've brought the Lord in environments that we could never imagine, and you've told me some of these stories where you've traveled the planet, you've been with titans of industry to leaders of state, witnessing for Jesus Christ.
00:12:41.000 You've seen healings, you've seen transformations.
00:12:44.000 Tell us about how God has used you, and I'm sure you talk about this in great detail in your book.
00:12:49.000 I do.
00:12:50.000 Well, it really kind of started out.
00:12:52.000 I was raised in an incredible Pentecostal, amazing family.
00:12:57.000 They were not religious.
00:12:59.000 They loved Jesus.
00:13:01.000 And I used to tell my dad all the time, you know, you're such a fun sucker because I can't rebel because it just worked.
00:13:08.000 So what happened was I was a senior in high school because you started out by talking about miracles.
00:13:14.000 So this was the miracle that really changed my life forever.
00:13:18.000 I was a senior in high school, and my parents always had Bible studies, prayer meetings in the house.
00:13:25.000 His business partner was Oral Roberts' son-in-law.
00:13:28.000 Kenneth Hagen led him to Jesus.
00:13:30.000 So it's a real rich heritage in the Christian world.
00:13:33.000 And a friend, in their Bible study, asked my dad to come pray for him.
00:13:38.000 He was a pilot for American Airlines.
00:13:40.000 And he said, Doug, if I have to have this surgery, I can never fly again.
00:13:45.000 So my dad said, okay, I've never prayed for anyone and I've never seen a personal miracle through me, but I read the word.
00:13:54.000 And what did Jesus say?
00:13:55.000 Greater things will we do.
00:13:58.000 when Jesus went back to heaven because he said I will send the Holy Spirit and greater things go out and spread the gospel lay hands on the sick and they will recover so he said I just took Jesus at his word so I went up to the hospital room he said Ron I don't even really know how to pray about it but let's do this prayed for him And he said, electricity like went through his body.
00:14:22.000 And he said, Ron, I think you were healed.
00:14:24.000 I felt this heat.
00:14:25.000 He said, I do too.
00:14:27.000 So he said, make sure that you get an x-ray the next morning before you have the surgery.
00:14:33.000 He was completely healed and flew another 40 years.
00:14:37.000 That's the God we serve.
00:14:39.000 And you're talking about, do we believe in miracles?
00:14:42.000 I'm here.
00:14:43.000 I mean, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't God.
00:14:46.000 So I have to tell one more story that happened that right after that is when you're in Tulsa, Oklahoma It was the white pages and even in the Bible belt.
00:14:55.000 I always say Tulsa is the buckle of the Bible belt Well, you know you all of a sudden it comes out in the Tulsa paper, you know businessman sells his banks and goes into a healing ministry because my dad prayed and there's nothing wrong with taking offerings like angel came up tonight and said I always say the gospel is free, ministry is expensive.
00:15:17.000 But my dad said, he said, God, I'll go wherever you want to go.
00:15:22.000 If you call me into a healing ministry, I'll go.
00:15:26.000 But I never want to take up an offering.
00:15:28.000 I want to be able to pay for every dime myself.
00:15:31.000 The next week, two men came in and bought two of his banks and he put it in a foundation.
00:15:35.000 And my dad traveled all over the world.
00:15:38.000 I was a senior in high school and I was not happy about it because all of a sudden it's in the front page of the papers and I was homecoming queen and all that and nobody would talk to me because you're weird, right?
00:15:51.000 And so my dad said to me one night, Drew, I need to go pray for this woman that called that is dying of cancer and your mother needs to stay home with your younger sister.
00:16:01.000 She has homework.
00:16:03.000 Will you go with me?
00:16:04.000 And remember, I was very self-absorbed and I was not happy about it.
00:16:08.000 But I went with him.
00:16:09.000 He's my father.
00:16:10.000 I respected him.
00:16:11.000 We drove out to this old trailer park.
00:16:16.000 And she lived in this old, broken down trailer home.
00:16:19.000 And she had one of those old house coats.
00:16:20.000 She was gray.
00:16:21.000 Her hair had fallen out.
00:16:23.000 And basically, the doctors sent her home to die.
00:16:25.000 And my dad said, Do you know Jesus?
00:16:28.000 Because that's the first miracle.
00:16:30.000 That's eternal life.
00:16:31.000 And then he said, Do you believe Jesus can heal you?
00:16:35.000 And she said, Yes, that's why I called you.
00:16:37.000 Now, I'm going to tell you this, because why do we limit God?
00:16:44.000 We put God in a box.
00:16:46.000 Our minds are finite.
00:16:48.000 God is infinite.
00:16:50.000 If he has the hairs on our head numbered, why would we ever limit the God of the universe, the creator of the universe?
00:16:59.000 As my dad laid hands on this woman, and this is in my book, I saw her hair grow out.
00:17:08.000 In front of my eyes.
00:17:10.000 And the Lord spoke to me and said, Drew, I'm going to take you into a very big world.
00:17:15.000 Don't ever deny my power.
00:17:18.000 And after I graduated from college, I met a man on an airplane.
00:17:22.000 He walked on the plane.
00:17:23.000 I felt like, wow, you know, I felt like God said, this is the man you're going to marry.
00:17:29.000 And I had no idea who he was.
00:17:31.000 He ended up being the only grandson of Dr. Armand Hammer.
00:17:35.000 You know, I grew up two-stepping on the weekends, and, you know, Garth Brooks was the local band.
00:17:41.000 We didn't even know it.
00:17:41.000 He played on our baseball team.
00:17:43.000 And I was thrown into this very big world.
00:17:46.000 And I didn't know how to dress.
00:17:48.000 I felt intimidated.
00:17:49.000 I wasn't a blueblood.
00:17:51.000 You know, I went to Oklahoma State University, and I can't even tell you what I learned in college.
00:17:56.000 I had a lot of fun, but, you know.
00:17:59.000 But anyway, so I move out there and I'm like, God, what am I doing here?
00:18:04.000 I thought I'd landed in the twilight zone and I had one incident that changed my entire perspective and I became very dangerous after that.
00:18:14.000 I was sitting at a black tie feeling very intimidated.
00:18:17.000 It was all world leaders.
00:18:19.000 And this man was next to me and he introduced himself and he said, my name's James.
00:18:25.000 I said, Oh, hello, I'm Drew Hammer.
00:18:27.000 He goes, Oh my gosh, Armand is one of my best friends.
00:18:30.000 And he told me all about you.
00:18:32.000 And honestly, I didn't even know, even know enough to be intimidated by him.
00:18:37.000 I didn't, I didn't know anything.
00:18:38.000 We really didn't have Google back then.
00:18:40.000 That's how old I am.
00:18:42.000 So anyway, he said, I just have a question for you.
00:18:46.000 How in the world did you meet Armand's only grandson in Tulsa, Oklahoma?
00:18:51.000 And I go, Jesus.
00:18:54.000 And he goes, what do you mean?
00:18:56.000 And I gave my testimony.
00:18:57.000 My parents prayed for the right godly mates.
00:19:00.000 I know you all are doing that with your children, you and Erica, with the right godly mates for their children.
00:19:06.000 And I knew it was the Lord.
00:19:08.000 He came to Christ before we married.
00:19:10.000 You know, I threw him in the deep end, poor guy.
00:19:13.000 And I looked over and tears were running down his eyes.
00:19:17.000 And I said, Oh my gosh, did I offend you?
00:19:20.000 And he said, No, may I tell you a story?
00:19:23.000 My name is James Roosevelt.
00:19:25.000 And my father was President Roosevelt.
00:19:28.000 And back then, we campaigned by trains.
00:19:32.000 And we would go through the country, through each town, by train.
00:19:37.000 And before we would go out, and my dad would give his speeches, he would say, James, we need to pray that God will give us favor if I'm supposed to be the president.
00:19:46.000 And every town, and the night he was elected, his father, he said, now, James, we need to go in the Oval Office, and we need To thank God for giving us favor.
00:19:56.000 And he's sobbing and he said, Drew, I haven't thought about that in 50 years.
00:20:02.000 I put God on a shelf and I said, James, it's time to come back.
00:20:06.000 And he was probably in his nineties by then.
00:20:09.000 And we held hands at that black tie right there.
00:20:12.000 And I invited, I prayed with him to invite Jesus into his life.
00:20:16.000 And he said, I'll never be the same.
00:20:18.000 And right then the Holy Spirit spoke to me and he said, Drew, he didn't care if you're a blue blood.
00:20:24.000 If you didn't go to Harvard or Yale or whatever, you know, he doesn't care about your pedigree, what you were wearing.
00:20:30.000 You shared Jesus with him.
00:20:33.000 And that's what you're called to do is bloom where you're planted.
00:20:36.000 So after that, everywhere I went, I became very dangerous because if you have seen hair grow out of someone's head, there's no turning back.
00:20:46.000 There just isn't.
00:20:49.000 And the, that was that miracle, a turning point in your Evangelism and advocacy for Jesus?
00:20:58.000 Yes, because then I went to college and I pledged a sorority.
00:21:02.000 I had Bible studies in the sorority.
00:21:04.000 Because again, how do you become a party animal or go do that when you've seen Hair grow out of people's heads and my dad by then was being called all the time and I would go with him and my mother and we would pray for people and I saw people walk out of wheelchairs.
00:21:22.000 I mean, I've seen so many blind people receive their sight, deaf people receive their hearing, and when he died, before my dad died, I flew to Tulsa and I said, Dad, I want to be Elisha.
00:21:37.000 To you, Elijah.
00:21:38.000 I want a double portion of your business acumen and your healing ministry.
00:21:43.000 And you know what?
00:21:44.000 I'm going to say this.
00:21:45.000 You have not because you asked not.
00:21:48.000 I'm just going for it.
00:21:49.000 You know, Charlie, I remember hearing Charlie 10 years ago when you, how many years ago did you start?
00:21:56.000 Okay, someone sent me a link, and I'm like, oh my gosh, first of all, he packs more into 30 seconds than I could pack into 10 minutes.
00:22:04.000 He talked so fast, I had to rewind it and listen to it again, and I literally said back then, that young man is going to be somebody.
00:22:13.000 And here we are, he is changing our country, not only in politics, but for Jesus, because I just went to his conference in Palm Beach, and I'm telling you, I was Blown away by the speakers and how many people's lives were changed.
00:22:30.000 So, it's incredible the realm that God has put you in.
00:22:33.000 And I will say, I would like to self-appoint myself as your chaplain when you are President of the United States.
00:22:41.000 Deal.
00:22:42.000 But I'm not going to be... I don't know about President, but... I just have to say it.
00:22:47.000 Well, and I'll tell you, Drew... I've never seen you speechless before.
00:22:51.000 Yeah, I mean...
00:22:53.000 Here's my, here's my, I'm 30 years old.
00:22:55.000 I'm too young to be president.
00:22:56.000 That's my canned answer.
00:22:58.000 So we need to win in November to make sure we still have a country.
00:23:02.000 I got off a little bit off track.
00:23:04.000 No, I love it.
00:23:04.000 So, so Drew, let me get into this.
00:23:06.000 So you were in so many situations.
00:23:09.000 You've told me some of these stories privately, so I don't know if they're in the book, so I don't want to.
00:23:12.000 Probably.
00:23:12.000 Yeah.
00:23:13.000 I'm not sure if they're okay to talk publicly, but you could take this You've been in situations with some of the highest level aristocracy that people could imagine, and you have been so bold to share the gospel with them.
00:23:27.000 People in the audience might say, okay, I'm afraid to share Jesus with my aunt, my uncle.
00:23:34.000 Did you find it easier to share the gospel with a random oligarch in Eastern Europe or with somebody that you know intimately?
00:23:44.000 Which is easier?
00:23:46.000 I think actually someone you know intimately, especially when you marry into a Russian Jewish family.
00:23:55.000 And Armand wasn't, he wasn't religious, but it was really interesting.
00:24:01.000 Would you like me to tell that story?
00:24:03.000 You did tee me up.
00:24:04.000 Okay.
00:24:04.000 I didn't know if it was okay to, that's why I led to it.
00:24:08.000 Okay.
00:24:08.000 Yes, this is in the book, but Armand only had one child.
00:24:13.000 And when I, Met the family.
00:24:16.000 The son was an alcoholic.
00:24:19.000 He was a drug addict.
00:24:21.000 He had rooms of pornography.
00:24:23.000 And here I am, you know, from this Norman Rockwell family where we wore matching flannel pajamas every year with our names monogrammed on it.
00:24:30.000 And my dad, you know, my mother memorized the whole, almost the entire book of Matthew and would read.
00:24:37.000 I mean, just an incredible family.
00:24:39.000 And I marry into this family and I'm like, They're kind of nuts.
00:24:45.000 I mean, they don't know how to be a family.
00:24:47.000 So I said to Armand, I'm this 24 year old pipsqueak, and I said to him, I would like to invite you to our home every Sunday because I'd like to teach you how to be a family.
00:24:58.000 I look back and I'm like, you said that to him?
00:25:01.000 I can't believe it.
00:25:03.000 But he came.
00:25:04.000 It was the most amazing thing in the world.
00:25:06.000 And I would share Christ with them because here's the thing.
00:25:09.000 Everybody needs Jesus.
00:25:12.000 We are all mental, spiritual, and physical beings.
00:25:16.000 And if we don't develop the physical, I mean the spiritual, we're dead inside.
00:25:22.000 Charlie, you have children.
00:25:23.000 You brought them into this world because you love them and you want a relationship with them.
00:25:28.000 God brought us into this earth because he loves us and he desires a personal relationship with him.
00:25:36.000 And that's why I even put a little prayer at the end of each chapter, because a lot of people don't even realize that prayer is just conversation with God.
00:25:46.000 I talk to God like I'm talking to you all right now.
00:25:49.000 And I wanted to teach people.
00:25:52.000 So when I would share Christ with Armand, I bought him a Bible.
00:25:56.000 I outlined Isaiah 53 and, you know, 60 and all the prophecies of the coming Messiah.
00:26:02.000 I outlined them.
00:26:03.000 I would talk to him about it but I learned to read him.
00:26:07.000 And when it was time to stop, when he wasn't listening anymore, I kept my mouth shut.
00:26:11.000 But he never really responded to me.
00:26:16.000 I'm a little tenacious.
00:26:17.000 I just kept doing it.
00:26:19.000 So then I bought him the book CS Lewis, Mere Christianity by CS Lewis, which is an incredible book.
00:26:27.000 And I gave him a copy and his wife had died and he called me that day and he said, Drew, you remember this was years talking to him and zero response and God's word never returns void.
00:26:43.000 Right?
00:26:44.000 It doesn't matter if people respond.
00:26:47.000 So, he calls me and he says, Drew, you have something that I don't have and I need that.
00:26:54.000 And I said, Boompa, my kids called him Boompa, they couldn't say Grandpa.
00:26:59.000 The only thing I have that you don't have is Jesus as my Messiah.
00:27:04.000 He said, yes, I know that and I need you to come over and I want you to call your father and have him come too.
00:27:10.000 We go to his home.
00:27:12.000 We shared the plan of salvation with him.
00:27:15.000 We take his hand.
00:27:16.000 We pray with him.
00:27:17.000 And he began weeping.
00:27:20.000 And I said, Armand, what happened to you?
00:27:22.000 And he said, God gave me a vision.
00:27:24.000 He said, I saw this golden staircase and Jesus and Francis, his wife, who was a believer.
00:27:31.000 We used to talk about the Lord together.
00:27:33.000 They were at the top of the stairs and I was halfway up.
00:27:37.000 And he died within four months.
00:27:39.000 Jesus kept him alive.
00:27:41.000 He will leave the 99 to chase the one.
00:27:47.000 So don't ever give up on ministering to family, people, friends.
00:27:53.000 And so tell us about your time with Princess Diana.
00:27:57.000 Oh, well, thank you, because I don't want to sound like a name dropper.
00:28:00.000 So thank you for bringing that up.
00:28:01.000 It's in your book.
00:28:04.000 Okay, well, again, I think it's bloom where you're planted, right?
00:28:08.000 So Armand was very good friends with Lord Mountbatten, and he became friends with Prince Charles after Lord Mountbatten died, and they started the United World Colleges together.
00:28:20.000 I won't go into explaining what all that is.
00:28:23.000 So they did a lot of events and a fundraisers together and we got to ride on Armin's Coattail which was really fun.
00:28:31.000 So we would fly to these events to the breakers to all these different events for polo matches or whatever and they would kind of put us near each other because at those kind of deals when it's so expensive to go it's mostly older people and we were very young we both had sons at the same time So they would kind of put us together.
00:28:51.000 And the first two times I was with her, it was pleasantries.
00:28:56.000 She was very guarded.
00:28:58.000 And do you blame her?
00:29:00.000 Because you can imagine how betrayed she was from people.
00:29:04.000 And I would kind of try to talk to her a little bit, but I could tell she was very guarded.
00:29:09.000 And after Francis had died, Armen's wife, we flew to D.C.
00:29:13.000 and there was a big event and there was a little private reception and she walked up to me.
00:29:19.000 And she said, you know, hello, Drew.
00:29:22.000 And I was like, wait, Princess Diane knows my name?
00:29:25.000 I mean, that was a little crazy back then.
00:29:27.000 But this is why.
00:29:30.000 Because God knew that wherever he put me, I was going to share him.
00:29:36.000 And that's what we're here for.
00:29:38.000 Right?
00:29:39.000 So she says to me, She says, I am so sorry about Frances.
00:29:44.000 I feel so terrible.
00:29:45.000 She was such a lovely woman.
00:29:47.000 And then she leaned in and she goes, did you get the jewels?
00:29:51.000 And I looked at her and I go, are you kidding me?
00:29:54.000 I go, you're Princess Di, you have a vault of royal jewels.
00:29:57.000 She goes, oh no, there were no jewels like that.
00:30:00.000 And I said, yes.
00:30:01.000 And I actually gave them to our foundation to sell because souls are way more important.
00:30:07.000 And I said, and let me tell you something, Princess Di, she didn't go to heaven with a U-Haul.
00:30:12.000 I said, when she died, the only thing she took with her was her relationship with Jesus.
00:30:18.000 And you have everything in the world.
00:30:20.000 And I said, you're going to leave everything behind, and the only thing you're going to take with you is a relationship with Jesus.
00:30:28.000 And I took a few moments to explain to her.
00:30:31.000 And we were actually in a room, and I couldn't pull her away to pray.
00:30:35.000 But after the whole thing came out about her marriage, the Lord said, write her a letter.
00:30:43.000 And I was like, you know, you know how you argue with God.
00:30:46.000 Just for the younger audience, tell the drama around her marriage.
00:30:50.000 Oh, okay.
00:30:50.000 I don't know if everyone knows that.
00:30:52.000 Okay.
00:30:53.000 There was infidelity.
00:30:55.000 Prince Charles always was in love with Camilla, who is his wife right now.
00:31:01.000 They were in a very unhappy marriage, and it was all coming to a head, and she was exposing to the world, which was a big no-no in the royal family.
00:31:10.000 You're supposed to keep your problems private.
00:31:14.000 And, you know, I know how that goes.
00:31:15.000 We'll get to that.
00:31:17.000 But, um, The Lord said, write her a letter.
00:31:20.000 And I, I argued with God.
00:31:22.000 You know how we argue?
00:31:23.000 Like, she's never going to get it.
00:31:24.000 It's ridiculous.
00:31:25.000 She didn't care.
00:31:26.000 And I mean, for seven days, I did not sleep.
00:31:29.000 And when I tell you I didn't sleep, God's like, are you going to do what I asked you to do?
00:31:33.000 Or you want to just have insomnia the rest of your life?
00:31:37.000 So I got up in the middle of the night and I'm like, okay, okay.
00:31:40.000 So I started praying.
00:31:42.000 I pray in tongues because I believe the Lord, you know, really is able to speak to me when I get my mind out of the way.
00:31:50.000 And I took a piece of paper.
00:31:52.000 And when I tell you, I really have no idea what I wrote.
00:31:55.000 I can tell you the basics is basically, I would never be presumptuous to say, I understand what you're going through.
00:32:05.000 You are on a world stage.
00:32:08.000 But what I do know is there were infidelities in my marriage that I just found out about the same time as well and I was always a marathon runner and I think I was probably an exercise anorexic because that was something I could control and she had eating disorders and she was anorexic and I said I would never be presumptuous to say Get what you're what you're going through, but I will say on a small scale.
00:32:38.000 I Understand and Jesus is my safety net if I didn't have the Lord I don't think I could get through this and I Pray that you find Jesus and I went through the whole plan of salvation with her How important it is that she brings Jesus into this and I told her I said this situation is still difficult on us with Jesus and But without Jesus, it will take us down.
00:33:05.000 And there was a lot more.
00:33:06.000 It was pages.
00:33:08.000 And then I had to call Armen's executive assistant and ask for the address, which was so embarrassing.
00:33:14.000 And then I had to go to the post office, because you have to get the overseas stamp.
00:33:18.000 And I'm sure the postal service guy was like, this poor This poor young woman, it's like writing a letter to Santa Claus.
00:33:27.000 You just write it to Buckingham Palace?
00:33:28.000 No, it was her private residence.
00:33:31.000 That's what I would have done.
00:33:32.000 I know, I know.
00:33:34.000 But Armand had her private address, so anyway.
00:33:36.000 So I got it to her and I never heard back.
00:33:38.000 I didn't expect to.
00:33:40.000 But that night when she went into the coma with that car accident, I prayed and I said, God, you kept her alive.
00:33:48.000 You kept her alive.
00:33:50.000 And I pray.
00:33:51.000 That in that moment, and I'm not presumptuous to say I was the only one that ever shared Christ with her.
00:33:56.000 I pray a lot of people did.
00:33:58.000 But I know it was something I had to do, and I slept like a baby ever since I put that thing in the mailbox.
00:34:05.000 It's amazing.
00:34:06.000 So Drew, the book is called Hammered here.
00:34:08.000 I want to get to some questions.
00:34:10.000 What is your, not just advice, but encouragement Well, first of all, this is what we're called to do.
00:34:16.000 And I think it's such a joy.
00:34:17.000 or sharing their faith or sharing truth where necessary.
00:34:22.000 Well, first of all, this is what we're called to do.
00:34:25.000 And I think it's such a joy.
00:34:28.000 You all, we live in a hopeless, hopeless world right now, especially what's going on in the political arena,
00:34:37.000 what's going on in churches being, you know, Worrying more about popularity contests, and I was just listening to a sermon today about you know King Herod He was a people pleaser and you know how he ended up his entire intestines rotted from the inside out and from syphilis and
00:34:58.000 That's not a good ending, so we cannot be people pleasers.
00:35:02.000 I'm certainly not worried about that with you.
00:35:04.000 I'm the opposite of a people pleaser.
00:35:06.000 Yeah, I'm not worried about him, but I just have to say, you guys, what good is our faith?
00:35:13.000 What good is our Christianity if we don't go out and share the love of Jesus and share how He is our hope and our Savior It doesn't do anybody good if we keep it to ourselves.
00:35:26.000 This is what we're called to do.
00:35:29.000 So who cares if people don't like us?
00:35:31.000 I'm going to be hated too.
00:35:33.000 I mean, I've never been on a stage, but I thought, you know what?
00:35:36.000 They're going to hate me too.
00:35:38.000 Oh, well.
00:35:39.000 Right?
00:35:40.000 What's more important?
00:35:42.000 Leading people to Jesus and them having eternal life with him in heaven?
00:35:47.000 And we're going to worry about what people think about us?
00:35:50.000 Not so much.
00:35:52.000 I love it.
00:35:53.000 And Drew, it's so important because there might be people here that are losing hope and losing faith.
00:36:01.000 What can you share about the miracles you've seen?
00:36:03.000 You've mentioned some of it.
00:36:04.000 The healings.
00:36:05.000 What does the Word say?
00:36:06.000 What does the Bible say about divine intervention when it comes to things that might seem naturally impossible, but can be metaphysically possible with the Lord?
00:36:18.000 Well, I would say it started out with reading the Bible.
00:36:22.000 I did an AI project and it's called Get Hope.
00:36:26.000 And it answers over a thousand questions of what does the Bible say.
00:36:31.000 Then the Lord spoke to me and said, it's great for people to ask questions, but they need to know my word because that's what builds up our faith.
00:36:42.000 If we don't know the Bible, we don't know all the miracles.
00:36:46.000 But when you read the Bible, you're like, well, wait a minute.
00:36:49.000 Look, I mean, I've had people say to me, well, you know, God doesn't part the Red Sea anymore.
00:36:54.000 He doesn't, I go, are you kidding me?
00:36:56.000 Butler, Pennsylvania, everybody.
00:36:58.000 That's what I keep on saying.
00:36:59.000 Yeah.
00:37:00.000 He moves bullets.
00:37:01.000 Yes.
00:37:02.000 And I'm like, he parts the Red Sea for me every single day.
00:37:07.000 I mean, I get parking places in LA.
00:37:09.000 I mean, he parts the Red Sea, right?
00:37:14.000 But I will say, to me, it's all about building up your faith in the Word of God.
00:37:20.000 And I'm doing a 365 journey where 15 minutes a day, I walk people through the Bible.
00:37:27.000 And in one year, you will have gone through the entire Bible because there's a lot of Christians.
00:37:33.000 First of all, statistically, one in three Christians vote.
00:37:38.000 This is a problem.
00:37:40.000 We have got to be Jesus' hands and feet.
00:37:43.000 Charlie is out there all over the country doing this, and you know why he's doing it?
00:37:49.000 Because he knows the Word of God.
00:37:51.000 And the bottom line is, vote your faith.
00:37:55.000 Vote for people who will stand up for biblical principles.
00:37:59.000 You know, we've got the Carrie Lake.
00:38:01.000 Carrie Lake right here in the state of Arizona is a godly woman that comes here and speaks.
00:38:07.000 Steve Garvey.
00:38:08.000 Talk about miracles.
00:38:10.000 He was watching the news one morning.
00:38:11.000 He's running for Senate in California and everybody thinks he's crazy because it's such a liberal state.
00:38:17.000 He said, I was watching the news one morning and God said run for Senate.
00:38:21.000 So he's doing it.
00:38:22.000 When we're called, we have to go.
00:38:25.000 So, don't believe what you read in the newspapers.
00:38:29.000 Don't believe any, you know...
00:38:31.000 What they're saying, who's ahead in the polls, you know, any of the statistics.
00:38:36.000 We serve a God of miracles.
00:38:38.000 In California alone, 12,000 people showed up to be baptized.
00:38:43.000 There is a revival in this country.
00:38:46.000 And if we could get everybody that knows the Lord and loves the Lord to get out and vote their faith for people that stand up for what's right, you know, you are single-handedly going out there and changing this country.
00:39:00.000 Well, we're just playing a small part, but it's the Lord.
00:39:03.000 So humble.
00:39:04.000 We must do our part and then allow God to do what only God can do.
00:39:08.000 Yes.
00:39:08.000 And that is the mission.
00:39:10.000 We have 90 days, everybody.
00:39:12.000 Nine zero days.
00:39:13.000 Let's do some questions, everybody.
00:39:14.000 Let's start lining up.
00:39:15.000 So, Drew, can you repeat the websites of the AI project you have?
00:39:20.000 And Hammered Hearts, you mentioned that as well?
00:39:22.000 Yes, I have a foundation and the book sales, I have a brand.
00:39:27.000 It's called Drewville.
00:39:29.000 And it's called Drewville because I'm a flipper.
00:39:32.000 I've renovated over 40 properties.
00:39:34.000 And my two sons tell everybody they grew up in Whoville because I decorate with hot pinks and lime greens, very Palm Beach style.
00:39:41.000 So I thought, well, Drewville kind of makes sense.
00:39:44.000 And it's all going to feed into my foundation, hammeredheart.org.
00:39:50.000 And I did that after my divorce.
00:39:52.000 I was divorced 14 years ago, was really heartbroken over it.
00:39:56.000 But God healed my heart.
00:39:58.000 I had an encounter with the Holy Spirit in Israel and the Lord told me, when you get a divorce, it's an inconvenience.
00:40:05.000 There are millions of women in this country that get divorced and it's catastrophic.
00:40:10.000 So my hammered heart helps within churches and helps single women and men to, you know, buy them tires or grocery cards or whatever.
00:40:22.000 So anyway, and I have the gethope.ai where you can get on and ask questions.
00:40:28.000 And again, it's all going to fund into my foundation because I may not change the world, but I can change the world that God has placed me in.
00:40:37.000 Amen.
00:40:37.000 I love that.
00:40:38.000 All right.
00:40:38.000 If you guys have questions, we'll do two lines here.
00:40:41.000 Whatever's on your mind.
00:40:42.000 Yes, sir.
00:40:44.000 We're at war between Satan's marionettes and God's warriors.
00:40:48.000 And there is no in between.
00:40:50.000 There's nothing in the middle.
00:40:51.000 If you're not Register to vote or to vote against Satan's marionettes, you're standing with them.
00:40:57.000 So there's nothing in the middle.
00:40:58.000 The Black Robe Regiment is a way now to be able to go to the churches and ask the pastors and the priests and the rabbis to step up and ask their congregation to register to vote, to put voter registration forms in the lobby, and to get a grassroots from the churches to rise up And fight against these Satan marionettes.
00:41:23.000 Does Turning Point have a program to go to these churches now that there's a miracle they could point to and say, you can stand up for God now that he's shown you a miracle?
00:41:35.000 We do.
00:41:35.000 And that's what we're doing at TPUSayFaith.
00:41:37.000 We had the Dream Conference together, too.
00:41:39.000 We had nearly 2,000 pastors.
00:41:41.000 Did you say Luke, right?
00:41:42.000 And so it's amazing.
00:41:44.000 I'll tell you, I had a conversation with a pastor recently.
00:41:48.000 And I mentioned the Butler, Pennsylvania, and he said, I don't know if that was a miracle.
00:41:52.000 I mean, it's so, it just, again, it shows how the Bible is true, how broken, how self-righteous and prideful we are as human beings.
00:42:03.000 Right.
00:42:04.000 It's just, I'm sorry, if you look at that and the head tilt at that very moment, at that very precise thing, and you think, oh, it's just an act of randomness.
00:42:15.000 By the way, on top of everything else that this man has been through, That and you're a pastor and you just discounted I just I just kind of shrug my shoulders.
00:42:23.000 But yes, look, here's the problem that more and more American pastors are indifferent towards the future of America.
00:42:34.000 And I said this previously with our wonderful pastor gathering.
00:42:38.000 I'm happy to tout all of the virtues of what I think President Trump's administration can do for the country.
00:42:44.000 But if you are a Christian and you vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, that is a desecration to the Lord.
00:42:55.000 And I choose my words very carefully.
00:42:58.000 This is a ticket that Currently, Tim Walz has the most extreme abortion laws, or lack thereof, in the country, where eight babies were born alive and then murdered legally.
00:43:15.000 Not an exaggeration.
00:43:16.000 It is factual based, based on Freedom of Information Act requests.
00:43:21.000 Tim Walz has bragged about how boys now have tampons in their bathrooms in all public schools in Minnesota.
00:43:29.000 The most radical transgender Surgeries are done in Minneapolis without parental consent for 11, 12, and 13-year-olds.
00:43:38.000 And that's just off the top of my head, right?
00:43:40.000 Not to mention he oversaw the riots, he oversaw what happened in Minneapolis.
00:43:45.000 When Kamala Harris, who was the first vice president in American history who visited an abortion clinic, she went to Minnesota.
00:43:54.000 And this is the ticket of what they are presenting.
00:43:57.000 And so I'm not going to go as far to say if you don't vote for my candidate of choosing President Trump, you know, there's, I'm not going to invoke religion there.
00:44:05.000 I think that it's about worldview.
00:44:07.000 But I will say again, that if you vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, that is a direct desecration to God's plan and his holiness and saying that you think your ways are better than God's ways.
00:44:24.000 A quick follow up.
00:44:24.000 Yeah.
00:44:25.000 I have an answer.
00:44:27.000 To the priests that are on the fence, I tell them that I'm one of God's warriors because that's what I chose to be.
00:44:34.000 And I'm the messenger and I just brought you a message.
00:44:38.000 And someday you're going to see Jesus and he's going to say to you, I sent you a messenger.
00:44:42.000 And what did you do?
00:44:45.000 Have a good day.
00:44:46.000 God bless you.
00:44:47.000 Thank you so much.
00:44:48.000 Yes.
00:44:49.000 Anybody questions on this side?
00:44:50.000 You guys can line up there.
00:44:51.000 Yes.
00:44:53.000 Well, Charlie, your podcast and Angel here.
00:44:56.000 Brought me to Dream City.
00:44:58.000 I come here with my son now, the last few months.
00:45:01.000 He's at the youth building right now.
00:45:04.000 I got the books.
00:45:06.000 Pastor Luke got the book.
00:45:07.000 I bought the pillows.
00:45:10.000 You do listen to the podcast.
00:45:12.000 Yes.
00:45:12.000 You know my punchlines.
00:45:13.000 Faithfully.
00:45:15.000 My question for either of you, but Drew, how can I get my foot in the door with my husband to get him To start attending here.
00:45:25.000 I met with a lot of sarcasm and no interest in conversation.
00:45:30.000 I pray about it a lot and I feel like it's keeping me up at night.
00:45:36.000 I'm having that same kind of insomnia and the urgency in these times for him to represent being a man of God to my sons.
00:45:46.000 Do you have any advice on how to gently kind of guide him towards the Lord?
00:45:53.000 I think right now he's watching your life.
00:45:56.000 I think when he sees a radical change in you and it's all about love, he's going to want to go there.
00:46:04.000 Because you can't put a noose around him and get him to church.
00:46:07.000 And by the way, our timing is not God's timing.
00:46:11.000 I have a son that I prayed for for 23 years to come back to Jesus.
00:46:17.000 And I wanted it the first day I started praying.
00:46:22.000 God's timing is always perfect, and He's going to see the change in your life, in your son's life, and He's going to want to come to church.
00:46:32.000 Because God is love, and when you come and you're being filled up every Sunday at this magnificent church, He's going to see it in you.
00:46:44.000 I just want to encourage you.
00:46:45.000 What you're doing is difficult.
00:46:49.000 And it's difficult because, I'm going to say this as gently as I can, your husband should be leading the home and the marriage, not mocking his bride for going into the house of the Lord.
00:47:00.000 And so I want to encourage you and build you up.
00:47:03.000 And for us men out there, You should look... God forbid that our wives ever have to encounter that.
00:47:11.000 I just want to say you're loved and supported for that and don't lose hope.
00:47:15.000 I think the story of Lee Strobel might be very helpful and comforting for you.
00:47:21.000 It's the best book.
00:47:22.000 Right?
00:47:22.000 Case for Christ.
00:47:23.000 Case for Christ.
00:47:23.000 The movie is also really good.
00:47:25.000 The book is better.
00:47:27.000 It's about a prayerful wife who found the Lord before her husband Husband was an atheist, was a reporter for the Chicago Tribune, my hometown, and he basically said to his wife, you believe all that hocus pocus, I'm gonna go prove you wrong.
00:47:45.000 Jesus was not real.
00:47:46.000 And he went on this incredible multi-year Fact-finding journey and ended up coming to the conclusion that Jesus is Lord and rose from the dead and he's now one of the most popular and impactful evangelists of our time.
00:48:00.000 His name is Lee Strobel, but it was because of a prayerful wife and so never underestimate that.
00:48:07.000 I think Drew's wisdom is great.
00:48:09.000 And yeah, we have your back and you're in the right place.
00:48:12.000 God bless you.
00:48:13.000 Thank you.
00:48:14.000 So thrilled you're here.
00:48:17.000 How we doing my man?
00:48:19.000 Uh, hi, I just wanted to talk to you guys.
00:48:20.000 You keep getting older.
00:48:23.000 Um, I was gonna talk to you guys about the AI.
00:48:27.000 Um, I just wanted to know what your thoughts were on it, because I know what I think about it, but I wanted your opinion.
00:48:33.000 Tell me what you think about it.
00:48:35.000 I think it's more of a threat than something we can use.
00:48:40.000 So... So, I go back and forth.
00:48:44.000 Do you have a thought on this first, Drew?
00:48:46.000 Or... You go first, and I'll just... Yeah, it can be used as a tool.
00:48:49.000 It also, there's a fair amount of speculation, so if you don't know what artificial intelligence is...
00:48:55.000 It's a technology that teaches the machine to, on the surface level, think the way that we think.
00:49:02.000 Now, through the actual administration of artificial intelligence, we are learning the limitations of machinery and how God designed us as more than just the computer.
00:49:12.000 So, if you go to Silicon Valley, almost every single person in Silicon Valley will tell you, oh, the human brain is just the computer.
00:49:20.000 If that's the case, then we would not be able to look at a statement such as this.
00:49:26.000 And this is Bertrand Russell's favorite famous breakthrough, which is a human being is able to process this following statement.
00:49:33.000 This statement is false.
00:49:35.000 A computer will not be able to read that.
00:49:37.000 You're like, what are you talking about?
00:49:39.000 Well, because is the statement false or is it not?
00:49:43.000 If you think about it, this statement is false.
00:49:45.000 Well, is the statement false?
00:49:47.000 Because then it's false.
00:49:47.000 It's not false.
00:49:48.000 You go in an infinite loop.
00:49:49.000 Therefore, we're able to detach ourselves from a reason loop and look at that because we are more than a computer.
00:49:55.000 We have a soul.
00:49:57.000 That proves the fact that you can look at that from the outsider perspective.
00:50:02.000 A machine will keep on going back and forth.
00:50:04.000 It will self-terminate, essentially, because it's an input-output.
00:50:09.000 There's some speculation that a machine will eventually be able to do that, that it will reach what's called artificial general intelligence, or otherwise known as singularity.
00:50:18.000 We don't know.
00:50:19.000 There are some really disturbing applications of artificial intelligence that we are all seeing, such as it's making our kids dumber, and they're not thinking.
00:50:26.000 There's also some potential amazing breakthroughs that I think we should celebrate.
00:50:30.000 For example, I think it would be awesome if we were able to diagnose cancer and tumors quicker And cut out the bureaucracy of the medical industry and say, you know what?
00:50:42.000 No, we're going to get rid of childhood cancer and reduce it.
00:50:47.000 And that's not speculation if we actually apply this technology through biblical or righteous means.
00:50:53.000 On the same side, you can use artificial intelligence to say, we want to get rid of all the people.
00:50:58.000 So it comes with a lot of problems.
00:51:01.000 It comes with a lot of potential threats.
00:51:03.000 I tend to be very optimistic because I have seen the potential upsides of what artificial intelligence can do.
00:51:10.000 And having dealt in the healthcare, going to the healthcare world, think about what you spend the most amount of time or energy on healthcare.
00:51:18.000 You pay some person to run a bunch of tests to kind of find a pattern of what you very well might have.
00:51:24.000 The biggest problem in American healthcare is not treatment, It's correct diagnosis.
00:51:30.000 Would you guys agree?
00:51:31.000 And the data shows that misdiagnosis, delayed diagnosis has caused more harm and damage.
00:51:40.000 Artificial intelligence could potentially fix that because it's able to aggregate billions of lines of data and say, no, you have this problem or not that problem.
00:51:48.000 But yes, it also could could destroy the world.
00:51:53.000 I have to finish that?
00:51:55.000 I mean, I have to go after that?
00:51:57.000 Are you kidding me?
00:51:58.000 Well, so just putting it in a personal layman's terms because I had no idea all that's going on.
00:52:06.000 Seriously, I'm like, Oh Lord, I gotta, I gotta follow that.
00:52:10.000 Um, I was compelled to do it because I look at the internet and I remember when the internet was coming out, people are like, Oh, it's of the devil.
00:52:20.000 You know, it's going to ruin this world.
00:52:22.000 Yes.
00:52:23.000 It can.
00:52:24.000 Pornography went rampant.
00:52:26.000 But also, I don't know about you, but I listen to amazing men of God, including Tommy Barnett a lot.
00:52:34.000 I listen all the time on podcasts, and I walk and I listen, so it can be a tool.
00:52:40.000 So when I was compelled to do my AI project, I thought, well, you know what?
00:52:45.000 What a better way to spread the gospel.
00:52:47.000 And doesn't it say that the end times will not come until every single person in the world gets the opportunity to invite Jesus into their lives and know Jesus?
00:52:58.000 So I thought, well, AI, what a great way to spread it.
00:53:01.000 And when I shot this, it was the hardest thing I've ever done because it was real spiritual warfare when I was doing it.
00:53:08.000 But the heads of the company came to me and they said, your timing is impeccable.
00:53:13.000 They opened up the laptop and they said, ask yourself a question.
00:53:16.000 And I'm like a holograph.
00:53:18.000 And I said, what does it mean to be born again?
00:53:21.000 And I answered in perfect Mandarin Chinese.
00:53:25.000 And it was my voice and my lips were moving.
00:53:29.000 And I, so immediately I'm like, well, let's get it in China.
00:53:32.000 Let's spread the gospel to China.
00:53:33.000 So I think it can be a tool.
00:53:35.000 And where sin abounds, grace can abound more.
00:53:39.000 And that's kind of what I hung on to with Yeah, and the final thought I'll say is this, is that the best way to allow AI to help humanity, not hurt humanity, is to decentralize it, not decentralize it.
00:53:51.000 For example, have 5,000 AI companies, not just Google and Facebook, that control all the AI power.
00:53:58.000 And so my advice for President Trump is embrace small tech and crush big tech and have a lot of competition.
00:54:04.000 Allow it to do the good stuff and allow competition to root out the bad stuff.
00:54:09.000 Because if we are honest, we live in a broken world.
00:54:12.000 Sin has caused a lot of suffering.
00:54:14.000 We have all lost loved ones to diseases that were not diagnosed, not treated correctly.
00:54:19.000 I think it potentially could do a lot of good in that way.
00:54:21.000 Thank you so much.
00:54:22.000 Appreciate that.
00:54:23.000 Yes, ma'am.
00:54:24.000 We'll do two more or three more.
00:54:26.000 We'll get to every question.
00:54:27.000 Yes, ma'am.
00:54:28.000 First of all, Drew, thank you for sharing from your heart as a more newer divorced woman.
00:54:33.000 I really appreciate that, and I look forward to looking at your book.
00:54:37.000 Charlie, this is more geared towards you.
00:54:39.000 I am a mom who was in a house divided, and in 22, I saw the political climate in Wisconsin go completely blue.
00:54:54.000 I brought my kids to AmFest because it was one of those things where I was like, I need them to see other people fighting for what we need to believe in.
00:55:04.000 So with the statistics of one in three Christians and hunters not voting, you know, our, our rights are being, are going to be gone.
00:55:14.000 How do we contend, especially in swing states and say, you know, your vote does matter.
00:55:22.000 You do need to show up at the polls.
00:55:23.000 I love the vote your faith.
00:55:25.000 Get out and vote no matter what.
00:55:28.000 But I feel like we're at upheaval even within our own party.
00:55:33.000 And it is sad because it's my children's future on the line.
00:55:40.000 Thank you for that, and I hope you enjoyed AmFest.
00:55:43.000 We put on a great show, so thank you for that.
00:55:46.000 And so, a couple thoughts.
00:55:49.000 You are asking the question that defines my life work, which is, how do I get good people to care?
00:55:55.000 And that is the question of Charlie Kirk and Turning Point's career.
00:55:59.000 How can I get someone who has good values to actually care about what's happening outside of their own sphere of influence?
00:56:05.000 And then it's a more provocative question.
00:56:07.000 Can you remain good if you don't care about things that are happening outside your sphere?
00:56:11.000 That's an interesting question.
00:56:13.000 But look, I am hopeful.
00:56:16.000 I'm hopeful because what we're doing at Turning Point Action is starting to make a really big difference.
00:56:20.000 Just this last week, because of our ballot chasing and because of our grassroots tenacity, we defeated Stephen Richer in the Maricopa County recorders race.
00:56:29.000 Right?
00:56:32.000 And Justin Heap is going to do a great job.
00:56:34.000 So people are starting to wake up and care.
00:56:38.000 I believe that there are unclean spirits that have filled this country.
00:56:43.000 And the one that I confront more than anything else is not nihilism.
00:56:48.000 It's not socialism.
00:56:49.000 It's not environmentalism.
00:56:50.000 It's not transgenderism.
00:56:52.000 It's a different ism.
00:56:53.000 And it's cynicism.
00:56:56.000 And it is the one that has infected the church more than any other ism.
00:57:01.000 What I do does not matter.
00:57:04.000 I don't care.
00:57:04.000 I'm not sure.
00:57:06.000 It's all about me.
00:57:08.000 And it's how do we get people to care?
00:57:09.000 Well, a country that would willingly sign up and be drafted to go storm the beaches of Normandy had a different worldview than this current generation.
00:57:19.000 And it was one that was rooted in my favorite, one of my favorite English words that used to be a bedrock of Western civilization, which is duty.
00:57:29.000 And the word duty is never taught to young people anymore.
00:57:33.000 Fun, pleasure, happiness.
00:57:36.000 But duty implies that you are doing something above yourself.
00:57:41.000 That there's something above you that matters more than just your own personal life.
00:57:47.000 And so why do only, you know, hunters not vote?
00:57:50.000 They don't feel a duty to their country.
00:57:52.000 Why do one in three Christians not care?
00:57:54.000 They don't even feel a duty to the divine.
00:57:57.000 And just so we are clear, I am not asking you to go through the streets of Baghdad.
00:58:06.000 I'm asking you to fill in a mail-in ballot that takes five minutes and put it in the mail.
00:58:12.000 Your excuses fall on deaf ears.
00:58:16.000 The amount of time that you will spend waiting in line to get your iced Frappuccino Is more than just filling in a ballot.
00:58:23.000 This person, this person, not that person, this person, this person, that's it.
00:58:27.000 Sign it, put it in, put it in the mail.
00:58:30.000 And the inability to try to get people to do that is that it is willful defiance at this point.
00:58:35.000 And I believe that will be harshly judged.
00:58:38.000 I really do.
00:58:39.000 So how we fix it?
00:58:40.000 Events like this.
00:58:41.000 But I think we should be hopeful.
00:58:42.000 We are seeing more and more people rise up.
00:58:45.000 We're seeing more and more people want to be engaged.
00:58:47.000 And I think all of us, the call to action for you is you must confront and squash the spirit of cynicism from now to the election.
00:58:57.000 Wherever you come across it, we outnumber them, but we do not outvote them.
00:59:07.000 Let me say that again.
00:59:08.000 We outnumber them, but we don't outvote them.
00:59:11.000 There are millions of people who share our values, who see the world the way we do, that won't take the time to fill out the ballot.
00:59:19.000 And what a tragedy that would be if the people that are actually in the minority care more about doing the five-minute thing than our side.
00:59:27.000 Thank you so much.
00:59:27.000 Do you have a thought on that, Drew?
00:59:28.000 Okay, great.
00:59:30.000 Thank you.
00:59:31.000 Two more questions.
00:59:32.000 Hi, Drew.
00:59:33.000 I'm really excited to ask you this question because I feel like I'm supposed to hear something from you tonight.
00:59:40.000 I've never been to one of these.
00:59:42.000 I wrote a book and was speaking, and God this year put a stop to that.
00:59:49.000 He told me to rest, and I obeyed, and I've been doing that.
00:59:53.000 I think it was because I wasn't glorifying Him, and He's put on my heart to do another one, but I'm kind of doing what you did with The letter to Princess Diana maybe?
01:00:06.000 I'm scared to not be resting in this place because I don't want my eating disorder to happen again.
01:00:15.000 It kind of took me out when I was really busy with it.
01:00:18.000 I don't know.
01:00:19.000 I just am wondering if you have struggled with maintaining your relationship with the
01:00:26.000 Lord as you are doing speaking and writing your books and how you make sure that you
01:00:34.000 are following His guidance when you are doing all that.
01:00:38.000 Well it actually took me ten years to write this book. You do not want to rush into anything
01:00:43.000 right? But I see now why God did. His timing is always perfect. And I started out by journaling.
01:00:50.000 I started out by journaling.
01:00:52.000 I didn't start by writing a book.
01:00:54.000 And what I realized when I journaled is in my mind, I thought I had forgiven, but I really hadn't totally forgiven.
01:01:02.000 So I'd go back and read the journal and I was just digging that knife in just a little.
01:01:07.000 You know how that goes.
01:01:08.000 And then as it was a process of forgiveness, because I think forgiveness is the tool for everything.
01:01:17.000 Every heart has been hammered.
01:01:20.000 If you don't forgive you live your life of bitterness, and I think we see that in this country today Is there so in the world you know if you don't forgive it will hurt you it doesn't hurt the other person And then when I was journaling, I started seeing the miracles that God was actually doing for me during the divorce.
01:01:40.000 I mean, I was gray.
01:01:41.000 I weighed 90 pounds.
01:01:43.000 My hair fell out.
01:01:44.000 I was a disaster.
01:01:45.000 But as I wrote, God started healing me.
01:01:49.000 And I actually volunteered at the Dream Center for 10 years and worked with women out of human trafficking.
01:01:56.000 And when I would go, I wanted to stop when I hit rock bottom and God said, you're not stopping.
01:02:04.000 And I would go there and they actually became my healing.
01:02:07.000 It was like Joe, the minute he decided to start praying for his enemies,
01:02:12.000 the people who pretended to be his friends, That's when God restored all.
01:02:18.000 So what I would say to you is, is I would keep writing.
01:02:22.000 I would put it down, but I realize now that it took me 10 years because God has brought my family full circle.
01:02:29.000 You know, our family has been hammered all over the world in the press and God has now brought that full circle.
01:02:36.000 So you're going to know God's timing, but if you're not getting rest and you have no peace, not writing, keep writing.
01:02:45.000 God bless you.
01:02:46.000 Thank you.
01:02:48.000 Last question.
01:02:52.000 I just want to know how we can protect our children in school.
01:02:56.000 Yeah, that's a really good question.
01:03:00.000 First, thankfully, with Arizona's new law, you have mobility with your kids to not send them to government school.
01:03:08.000 You could send them to Dream City Christian at Turning Point Academy, which I highly recommend.
01:03:14.000 And I will say this as plainly as possible.
01:03:18.000 I've been very distracted, so I wasn't able to get involved as much in the Scottsdale Unified School District elections as I would have liked this last one, but we will do that in the future.
01:03:26.000 There's other elections that are a little more important right now.
01:03:30.000 I will say this.
01:03:31.000 We will not send our kids to any government-run school.
01:03:35.000 That is not going to happen.
01:03:37.000 We will not send them to Scottsdale Unified.
01:03:39.000 And if you do that, that's fine.
01:03:41.000 I do not trust our children in the hands of potential, very dangerous zealots that look at our children as their children.
01:03:52.000 It's not going to happen.
01:03:54.000 And so you can make your own decision when it comes to that.
01:03:58.000 The good news with Arizona's law is that it's less and less of a financial hurdle to get your kid into a really solid school.
01:04:05.000 And so just have the courage and the faith to pull your kid out of a bad government-run school and find one, Dream City Christian Turnabout Academy.
01:04:13.000 There's a lot of other really good options around here that I would highly recommend.
01:04:17.000 And then finally, for people that are out of state or watching nationally, If you are able to homeschool your kids, you should do that.
01:04:27.000 But again, we have Dream City Christian, which is an amazing school and changing people's lives.
01:04:33.000 And your kids will not be taught this transgender nonsense.
01:04:36.000 They'll be protected.
01:04:37.000 They'll be able to flourish.
01:04:38.000 They'll be able to grow.
01:04:39.000 And you as a mother, it's one of the most important things that God has charged you with here on this earth, which is stewarding and shepherding your children.
01:04:48.000 The current environment wants to take the innocents away from your children.
01:04:53.000 They want to teach them terrible values.
01:04:55.000 They want to poison them.
01:04:56.000 They want to make them doubt God's Word and God's teaching.
01:04:59.000 And our education system should be the exact opposite of that.
01:05:02.000 So, God bless you.
01:05:03.000 Thank you so much.
01:05:06.000 Drew, thank you so much.
01:05:07.000 How can people find the book?
01:05:10.000 On Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and drewville.com.
01:05:13.000 Amazing.
01:05:13.000 Thank you so much.
01:05:14.000 Give it up for Drew, everybody.
01:05:15.000 Drew Hammer, and God bless.
