00:00:54.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:58.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:01:01.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:01:02.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:01:03.000 His spirit, his love of this country.
00:01:05.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.
00:01:10.000 Turning point USA.
00:01:12.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:20.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:23.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:32.000 Why didn't the Twitter employees delete all of these messages that Elon is now publicizing?
00:01:42.000 Now, you might say, well, Charlie, it was illegal.
00:01:45.000 They were not allowed to.
00:01:46.000 Well, hold on.
00:01:46.000 That didn't stop Hillary Clinton.
00:01:48.000 That didn't stop Lois Lerner.
00:01:51.000 That didn't stop all of these other people that have routinely broken the law and deleted emails, deleted messages, because they knew that those emails or those messages would be incriminating.
00:02:06.000 No, they made a decision to keep them there.
00:02:10.000 I have a couple of theories with this.
00:02:11.000 My first theory is that they did delete a fair amount.
00:02:17.000 That this is the remnant, that they had to leave a little bit of the stuff they were proud of, but they deleted the stuff that is so bad, so incriminating, so awful, they didn't want to make it look like they just burdened the whole house to the ground.
00:02:32.000 That is my first theory, that they actually did go on a deletion spree.
00:02:38.000 And this is what remained.
00:02:40.000 That what remained is Yoel Roth's Slack channel, which is very interesting because if you look at how the left is covering this, including Brandi Zedrozny and all these people, they're actually very proud of these messages.
00:02:59.000 They're proud of labeling my Twitter account Do Not Amplify.
00:03:05.000 They seem to be proud of their internal discussions of how to suppress half the country's ability to communicate politically.
00:03:14.000 These are not people that are filled with remorse.
00:03:16.000 They almost look at this as a record that will be looked at by historians of when the Twitter line was held against the abusers of democracy.
00:03:31.000 Now, Jack Dorsey testified in front of Twitter in 2018.
00:03:37.000 There are multiple ways to interpret what he was talking about here.
00:03:42.000 But one of the sentences of Jack Dorsey here unequivocally shows that Jack Dorsey lied under oath in front of Congress.
00:03:53.000 And my own Twitter account, thanks to the Twitter files, is evidence and proof of it.
00:04:00.000 Play cut 10.
00:04:01.000 Social media is being rigged to censor conservatives.
00:04:05.000 Is that true of Twitter?
00:04:07.000 No.
00:04:09.000 I don't know what Twitter is up to.
00:04:11.000 It sure looks like to me that they're censoring people and they ought to stop it.
00:04:15.000 Are you censoring people?
00:04:17.000 No.
00:04:18.000 Twitter shadow banning prominent Republicans.
00:04:22.000 It's bad.
00:04:23.000 Is that true?
00:04:24.000 No.
00:04:25.000 Now, the shadow banning thing aside, which is open for interpretation of what that would mean.
00:04:30.000 We know what it is, but they legally might be able to escape from that one.
00:04:34.000 The more informative line of questioning there against Jack Dorsey, the former CEO of Twitter and founder of Twitter, was, are you censoring people?
00:04:44.000 Him saying no is a lie under oath.
00:04:48.000 Him saying no should get him a criminal referral to the Department of Justice.
00:04:53.000 It won't, but putting do not amplify on my account is a lie under oath.
00:05:02.000 Anthony Fauci recently is very involved in this.
00:05:05.000 Elon Musk is teasing that there are messages and files and emails that show that Anthony Fauci himself was pushing Twitter to censor or sponsor certain stories.
00:05:18.000 Now, this is a clip of Anthony Fauci that admittedly I thought was edited because, and I'm not, I'm being honest, if you look at this Anthony Fauci video just without sound, it looks like someone drew a Hitlerian mustache on his lip.
00:05:33.000 It just the way the shadow goes down on his nose.
00:05:35.000 I'm not saying he is.
00:05:36.000 I'm not saying that's appropriate.
00:05:38.000 It just looks that way.
00:05:40.000 Play cut 73.
00:05:41.000 But the latest now, Dr. Fauci, is Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
00:05:45.000 He's now asking the Florida Supreme Court to greenlight an investigation into, and the way he put it, is any and all wrongdoing in Florida with respect to COVID-19 vaccines.
00:05:58.000 I don't have a clue, Kate, what he's asking for.
00:06:01.000 I mean, we have a vaccine that unequivocally is highly effective and safe and has saved literally millions of lives.
00:06:10.000 Now, look, I'm sure it's just an act of cosmic hilarity.
00:06:18.000 But I mean, I'm not saying it's appropriate because you're not allowed to do that.
00:06:25.000 That's for Daniel Horowitz and for Steve Dace to talk about.
00:06:29.000 But just the way that CNN arranged the lighting, the nose, the shadow of the nose looks like Anthony Fauci has the Hitler stash.
00:06:38.000 Okay, anyway, that's enough of that.
00:06:40.000 But the point is that Fauci and DeSantis are now going back and forth.
00:06:44.000 So Ron DeSantis has been exhibiting phenomenal courage of going after Anthony Fauci.
00:06:49.000 And Anthony Fauci, in my personal opinion, needs to be patient zero of the new Republican Congress accountability project.
00:06:59.000 Anthony Fauci needs to be focused on by every single person.
00:07:04.000 The Attorney General, the Attorneys General.
00:07:07.000 See, I'm getting my grammar correct.
00:07:12.000 The attorneys general of the country, the House Congress.
00:07:17.000 All roads lead from Anthony Fauci.
00:07:22.000 Now, in some ways, the Twitter files are kind of a, it's kind of a collection of every corrupt company, influence, and government agency that seemingly all worked to influence public opinion via Twitter.
00:07:45.000 All roads lead from Anthony Fauci, it seems, but all roads lead to Twitter.
00:07:52.000 Whether you are a government agency trying to suppress speech, derail a president, DHS, NIAD, whatever it might be, it seems that all of them went through Twitter at one point, period, or time.
00:08:04.000 Now, of course, if we were able to look at Facebook or Google's files, that would be a separate issue.
00:08:11.000 But right now, we're having a little bit of a window into the suppression operation that went into Twitter.
00:08:17.000 We're going to play more about Ron DeSantis and Fauci, but Fauci needs to be patient zero.
00:08:25.000 Do you know that you could save a baby's life for $28?
00:08:30.000 Well, it's true.
00:08:31.000 Pre-born is a ministry doing just that with the help of people just like you by offering free ultrasound sessions to pregnant women and girls who might just otherwise choose to end their pregnancies.
00:08:43.000 We know that pregnant girls and women who can see their babies on ultrasounds are far more likely to choose life.
00:08:49.000 Your gift today can save a baby's life.
00:08:54.000 Just $28 can give a mother who is abortion-minded the chance to see the truth of the baby that is growing inside her.
00:08:59.000 $140 can do this for five girls and women.
00:09:03.000 $15,000 gift will provide an ultrasound machine that will save lives for years to come.
00:09:09.000 Whether you want to save one baby or five or hundreds, that opportunity is just a phone call or click away.
00:09:15.000 There's no better time now than now to save a baby's life.
00:09:18.000 Go to charliekirk.com and click on the pre-born banner or call 833-850-2229.
00:09:27.000 That's charliekirk.com and click on the banner.
00:09:31.000 Pre-born is a terrific organization.
00:09:33.000 They do a great job and give them some money this Christmas season to save a baby's life.
00:09:41.000 It's critical that we are not just pro-life in our politics, that is essential, but also in our giving, our philanthropy, and our actions.
00:09:52.000 CharlieKirk.com, click on the banner, pre-born, great organization.
00:09:57.000 And this Christmas season, make sure you have a priority to give, not just receive.
00:10:04.000 CharlieKirk.com and click on the pre-born banner.
00:10:10.000 It is the mark of a tyrant to try to separate children from their parents.
00:10:15.000 And this is why there has to be a special commandment for honoring your mother and father.
00:10:21.000 You do not have to love your mother and father.
00:10:24.000 It does say that later in the scriptures, but if we're talking just about the decalogue, the Ten Commandments, you must honor them.
00:10:30.000 You must treat them heavily.
00:10:31.000 That is the Hebrew.
00:10:33.000 It is the word honor and heavy have the same root, just as curse and light have the same root.
00:10:40.000 And so it shouldn't even be a question that grandparents should be near their grandchildren.
00:10:46.000 I'm a very big believer in the power of grandparents.
00:10:49.000 For those of you that are grandparents, you need to take that role very seriously.
00:10:54.000 You can have a profound and lasting impact on somebody's life.
00:10:58.000 It is the destruction of the nuclear family is one of the great tragedies of the last couple of decades.
00:11:07.000 So it shouldn't really be much of a question, but it is, unfortunately.
00:11:11.000 Where Fauci was asked, should you even be near your grandchildren if they're not vaccinated?
00:11:21.000 And almost with religious fervor, vaccination is the answer.
00:11:28.000 This is going to sound somewhat silly, but the way he answers sounds like an evangelist I know who would say, well, Jesus is the answer, which is true, by the way.
00:11:38.000 Jesus is the answer.
00:11:38.000 But the way he answered is vaccination, again, is the answer.
00:11:43.000 Play cut 11.
00:11:44.000 Since we've been vaccinated, how dangerous is it to be near our grandchildren?
00:11:49.000 They have not been vaccinated beyond what's required in the schools.
00:11:53.000 Right.
00:11:53.000 Well, vaccination, again, is the answer.
00:11:57.000 So if you want to protect your grandchildren and vice versa, I would encourage my child, who is the parent of my grandchildren, to get their children vaccinated.
00:12:09.000 Do you notice the leading question to how dangerous?
00:12:14.000 It implies that there is a danger being around your grandchildren.
00:12:19.000 It's not a matter of, the question should be, not even should, if you were to want to be at least somewhat fair, is there a danger to be around your grandchildren?
00:12:26.000 No, it's a question of how dangerous.
00:12:30.000 This is a really troubling development.
00:12:35.000 Kids are germ factories.
00:12:37.000 Fact.
00:12:38.000 They're also gifts.
00:12:40.000 For a grandparent to be engaging in a calculus that says, I might not visit my grandkids because they do not have their COVID booster.
00:12:54.000 You are an immoral human being.
00:12:56.000 You are a selfish, narcissistic, neurotic freak.
00:13:02.000 Yes, you might get sick being around your grandkids.
00:13:05.000 So what?
00:13:07.000 They need you.
00:13:08.000 Forget the fact that you probably need them for a little bit of joy in your life.
00:13:12.000 You're trying to tell me that treasured memories, experiences, lessons that could be taught around Christmas or Thanksgiving previously or New Year's are going to be put in suspension because of a grandchild's vaccination status with an MRNA gene altering technology.
00:13:37.000 How is this even remotely a question?
00:13:41.000 The answer is if you don't believe in the value of the transmission of values, or you don't believe in the necessity, let me be more clear, of the transmission of values from the elder to the child, and you believe in this garbage, radical egalitarianism that has plagued our land, you could end up getting to a place where you're saying, well, I don't know if I'm going to come over for Christmas again this year because little Johnny doesn't have the seventh COVID booster.
00:14:10.000 Governor DeSantis continues to lead with courage and boldness and clarity.
00:14:15.000 Let's play Cut 76.
00:14:16.000 Florida, you know, it is against the law to mislead and to misrepresent, particularly when you're talking about the efficacy of a drug.
00:14:24.000 We see just the other, just recently, Florida got $3.2 billion through legal action against those responsible for the opioid crisis.
00:14:33.000 And so it's not like this is something that's unprecedented.
00:14:36.000 So today, I'm announcing a petition with the Supreme Court of Florida to impanel a statewide grand jury to investigate any and all wrongdoing in Florida with respect to COVID-19 vaccines.
00:14:53.000 We will not rest until these criminals are put in handcuffs or leg irons.
00:15:01.000 They have done such damage to our society and our civilization.
00:15:06.000 Justice is giving a man to which he is owed.
00:15:11.000 Fauci destroyed a civilization.
00:15:15.000 Rents are soaring at unprecedented highs.
00:15:18.000 If you're renting or have a friend or family member, that is, now is a great time to make the move to home ownership.
00:15:24.000 Look, you got to own renting, that's great reset stuff.
00:15:27.000 Andrew Del Rey and Tadavakian at Sierra Pacific Mortgage have helped so many people make that leap from renting to owning with lots of programs that offer first-time buyers assistance with little to no down payment needed.
00:15:40.000 I encourage you right now to visit my buddies, their website.
00:15:43.000 They're great guys.
00:15:44.000 They're Christians.
00:15:45.000 They're conservatives.
00:15:46.000 They love the Lord.
00:15:46.000 AndrewNTodd.com right now.
00:15:49.000 The thing I love about these guys is it's not about the transaction.
00:15:51.000 They're helping you create a plan to help you reach your goals.
00:15:55.000 Give them a call or go to their website, andrewandtodd.com, with today's still historically low interest rates.
00:16:00.000 It's easier than you think to become a homeowner.
00:16:02.000 I've relied on them and producer Andrew has as well.
00:16:05.000 I highly recommend you take action now.
00:16:07.000 And if you knew someone paying rent, tell them about Andrew and Todd.
00:16:10.000 Go to andrewandodd.com and tell them the Charlie Kirk Show sent you.
00:16:17.000 Joining us now is Kirk Cameron, a great American and really someone I enjoy.
00:16:23.000 Kirk, welcome back to the program.
00:16:25.000 Hey, Charlie, great to be talking with you.
00:16:27.000 You know, I'm a great full American, and I'm really thankful to be talking with you today.
00:16:32.000 Well, so, Kirk, you've been in the news.
00:16:34.000 You have a new book.
00:16:35.000 I think it's new, or you could kind of correct me there, As You Grow, which is a fun story with brilliant art that teaches the biblical truths of the fruit of the spirit, which, of course, is my memory correct, sir.
00:16:48.000 Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control.
00:16:52.000 Did I get that right?
00:16:54.000 You nailed it, bro.
00:16:55.000 All right.
00:16:56.000 I have a whole speech about self-control being the last of the fruit of the spirit, the most difficult of all of them, and patience.
00:17:02.000 I'm not very patient.
00:17:03.000 So, Kirk, why is this book considered to be controversial?
00:17:10.000 That's a great question.
00:17:12.000 So, to give a little backstory to it, I wrote this book called As You Grow.
00:17:16.000 It's about teaching children biblical wisdom through the seasons of life and the value of the fruit of the spirit.
00:17:23.000 As you said, kindness, goodness, self-control.
00:17:25.000 And I wanted to do a book reading at a public library because that's all the rage now.
00:17:29.000 We see drag queens at public libraries.
00:17:31.000 So, I called a few and I was denied by over 50, 5-0 woke libraries who have hosted drag queen story hours.
00:17:41.000 And some of the most shocking denials included Alameda County Public Library, who said that they would deny a book to teaching children about self-control and kindness and goodness, while they had scheduled a gender name change clinic the following day.
00:17:55.000 Rochambeau Public Library said that they were a queer-friendly library and that their messaging just didn't align.
00:18:03.000 And that I could fill out a form, I could reserve the space, but they would not let me run my book in their library.
00:18:10.000 And finally, another one said that they have a specific strategy of authors that they allow, and they're focusing on authors of color.
00:18:18.000 So, this is kind of crazy to me because I hadn't even read the book.
00:18:21.000 I told them what it was about.
00:18:22.000 And the truth is, I think even drag queens would love my book.
00:18:26.000 It's sweet, it's beautiful, and the illustrations are lovely.
00:18:32.000 And I've just simply asked them to give me equal time in the same room to read my story to children in public schools who are being overwhelmed by mental illness, school shootings, cyber bullyings, and drug overdoses.
00:18:46.000 Maybe they could use a little stuff on kindness and gentleness and faithfulness and generally healthy values.
00:18:54.000 Yeah, I mean, I think a drag queen needs a lot, including the fruits of the spirit.
00:18:59.000 I totally, I totally agree with that.
00:19:02.000 I'm not exactly overly sympathetic to the pedophile drag queens, but hopefully they find Jesus and are born new.
00:19:10.000 So, Kirk, I think your book is terrific.
00:19:13.000 And I think what you're doing is super smart and really an offensive strategy.
00:19:18.000 I mean that as a compliment because we're seeing this plague of unadulterated degeneracy of these freaks that are dressing in drag and naked around children.
00:19:31.000 I'll just play a cut here.
00:19:33.000 And if you guys are disgusted by this by watching it, well, guess what?
00:19:37.000 This is done in front of children.
00:19:38.000 Play Cut 79.
00:19:54.000 And now let's play cut 77.
00:20:19.000 Now that's done with a sign that says it's not going to lick itself.
00:20:25.000 Sorry to subject you to that, Kirk.
00:20:28.000 But I'm doing that for a reason.
00:20:30.000 I'm trying to invoke an emotion from the audience because that is considered to be perfectly acceptable by mainstream society, but you want to just read a book about love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control.
00:20:46.000 And that's not allowed.
00:20:48.000 That's right.
00:20:49.000 I mean, those clips are so horrifying.
00:20:52.000 That's going to make every parent and grandparent who loves their children just throw up in their mouth.
00:21:00.000 And I don't even know what to say about that.
00:21:03.000 And so I'm doing everything that I can.
00:21:06.000 And I'm calling on every parent and every grandparent to recognize that this all happened on our watch and that we cannot be simply the complainers about culture, but we must be the creators of culture.
00:21:17.000 That's why we're here.
00:21:18.000 We're supposed to be the salt and the light.
00:21:20.000 We're supposed to be the ones who are the guardians of the good and hold back the moral decay.
00:21:25.000 We're supposed to be enhancing the flavors of heaven all throughout society.
00:21:29.000 And we're passing the baton to our children.
00:21:31.000 So here's what I want them to do.
00:21:32.000 I want every grandparent, parent to get a hold of their favorite children's storybook, something with good values, books of virtue.
00:21:39.000 It could be my book, could be your book, could be anybody's book.
00:21:41.000 Call your public library who's hosted a drag queen story hour and say, I'd like the opportunity to read my book as part of your program.
00:21:49.000 And if they say no, they're likely violating the Constitution and equal access laws.
00:21:54.000 And they can call us.
00:21:55.000 They can email us at our website at bravebooks.com.
00:21:58.000 We'll show them how to host their own story hour, send them free books and show them how to assert their legal rights in court, like I've told many of these libraries that I'm going to do if they continue to discriminate based on viewpoint and values.
00:22:13.000 Kirk, I just want to applaud you.
00:22:15.000 That's so incredibly important.
00:22:17.000 Are you going to sue?
00:22:18.000 We are prepared to, 100%.
00:22:21.000 And we've sent letters, which you can read at bravebooks.com to the libraries that we've sent those letters to.
00:22:28.000 And again, my hope is that this is just a misunderstanding.
00:22:31.000 I suspect that it's not because I think we are in a, we're in a values war, as we know.
00:22:39.000 Your previous guest just demonstrated that.
00:22:42.000 It's happening to you and to everyone.
00:22:43.000 And nobody can hide from this.
00:22:45.000 So we want to bring it to the forefront and help people understand that if we're going to talk about tolerance and inclusion, you cannot exclude people who love God and love the moral code that has been working for 4,000 years to build the most flourishing societies.
00:23:02.000 Well, and this is an important point, Kirk.
00:23:04.000 So for years, you and I were called bigots and hateful, every name possible, because we said that these sexual predators should not be allowed around children.
00:23:20.000 We were against allowing drags, whatever, into libraries.
00:23:25.000 I think it's totally wrong.
00:23:26.000 But they said, oh, it's the First Amendment.
00:23:28.000 It's free speech to be able to have a bunch of pedophile story hour or whatever.
00:23:33.000 Then you have people like David French, who I don't expect you to know, but he's a writer for the National Review.
00:23:39.000 I'm familiar.
00:23:40.000 Keep going with your story.
00:23:41.000 Yeah, no.
00:23:42.000 And so David French comes out and he's like, This is the beauty of the First Amendment, that we're able to have all sorts of speech.
00:23:48.000 And at times, you get strange speech and you get provocative speech.
00:23:51.000 And I've met David before.
00:23:52.000 I actually think he believes this.
00:23:54.000 And that's really weird that he thinks that part of the First Amendment means you have to have speech that you find to be reprehensible, which I think there is some truth to that.
00:24:05.000 But when it involves children, I think the rules are completely different, right?
00:24:10.000 And so, but then his whole argument, he says, well, if we can ban them, then they can ban us, but they are banning us.
00:24:18.000 That's the point.
00:24:20.000 Yeah, I agree with you, Charlie.
00:24:21.000 That's exactly the point.
00:24:23.000 I think that what's great about all of this, and you do this all of the time, is that we have a chance now.
00:24:30.000 Somebody is pulling back the curtain and we're seeing the Wizard of Oz.
00:24:35.000 We're seeing who it is, right?
00:24:38.000 It's not the great and powerful Oz.
00:24:40.000 It is people who are playing tricks.
00:24:42.000 It's cowards who are actually masquerading as being tolerant when really behind the curtain, we see what it is.
00:24:50.000 It's totalitarianism.
00:24:51.000 It's not a desire to coexist, but to conquer.
00:24:54.000 And now that we see this, the question is, what are we going to do about it?
00:24:59.000 The editor of the Federalist magazine wrote a great article about this, saying that, you know, maybe I could get my book read if I dressed in fishnet stockings and I twerked in front of five-year-olds.
00:25:08.000 Then libraries would be lining up to let me read that.
00:25:10.000 That's exactly right.
00:25:12.000 But she made the very important point that these principled conservatives that want to allow free speech at any cost, and I'm a constitutionalist, I love free speech.
00:25:21.000 But she said the Bill of Rights and the Constitution is not a suicide pact.
00:25:26.000 That's not what the founders had in mind.
00:25:28.000 They did not have in mind the actual decomposing of the moral fabric upon which this republic is built.
00:25:36.000 And we have to have reasonable restraints when it comes to lewdness, when it comes to immorality, and poisoning our children.
00:25:44.000 This is not hard.
00:25:45.000 And if you make it hard, then you take your own intellectual calisthenics way too seriously, right?
00:25:51.000 It's not about licentiousness.
00:25:51.000 Yeah.
00:25:54.000 It's not about vices.
00:25:55.000 Pornography is not speech.
00:25:57.000 Drag queens in front of children is not speech.
00:26:00.000 Speech, more than anything else, needs to be the pursuit and the exploration of truth, goodness, and beauty.
00:26:07.000 And said differently, the most important mechanism of speech is to challenge tyranny.
00:26:12.000 That's really what it was there for, right?
00:26:14.000 To challenge the government and challenge power.
00:26:17.000 I don't know what the heck you're challenging in fishnets in front of children.
00:26:21.000 Man, I'm just, I'm excited to be in the fight.
00:26:21.000 Yeah.
00:26:24.000 I'm excited to be in the fight with you.
00:26:26.000 God's put us on the stage of the world at this point in history because he knows that heroes are required.
00:26:32.000 And my job and yours is to play our role well.
00:26:36.000 Kirk, just tell us more about the book itself.
00:26:39.000 I think it's so incredibly important.
00:26:41.000 And you're not just taking this.
00:26:43.000 I mean, what I love about what you're doing is you say, okay, Kirk Cameron could go to almost any church and read this.
00:26:48.000 But you say, no, we deserve a place in the public square.
00:26:52.000 That's really admirable.
00:26:54.000 Well, Charlie, the reason I'm doing this is because I'll give you an example.
00:26:59.000 I'm looking at a very sad picture in my backyard out my living room window right now of a pile of oak wood.
00:27:07.000 There used to be a beautiful oak tree over my little guest cottage for my mother-in-law out there.
00:27:13.000 And the reason that the tree came down shocked me.
00:27:16.000 It seemed like it happened overnight.
00:27:18.000 All of a sudden, this beautiful tree that has been there for 30 years turned brown, the leaves died, and someone came over and said, this whole thing is dead.
00:27:27.000 How did that happen overnight?
00:27:28.000 He said, it didn't.
00:27:29.000 It happened over 30 years.
00:27:31.000 And what I didn't realize was that the grass underneath the tree was being watered daily by my sprinkler system.
00:27:36.000 And I was actually rotting the roots and actually injuring the tree for 30 years.
00:27:42.000 I didn't even know it.
00:27:43.000 And so this has been decaying all of this time without me being aware.
00:27:48.000 And I think that's what's happening in America: is that we've been warned by our forefathers, even before them, the pilgrims 400 years ago, they said the taproot that will give strength to the republic, that will cause all of the leaves to stay green, is faith in God and in his word and a morality that is going to permeate every aspect of your culture.
00:28:14.000 And it will keep every branch of government, of family, of the media, of education, and the marketplace strong.
00:28:20.000 If you rot that, you're done.
00:28:22.000 You're toast, you're screwed.
00:28:23.000 It's over.
00:28:24.000 And that's what's happened for decades.
00:28:26.000 We have been allowing others and ourselves through our neglect and apathy for the roots to be poisoned and the sap to be corrupted.
00:28:34.000 And now the fruit is rotting.
00:28:35.000 And we're going, holy cow, what happened overnight?
00:28:37.000 It really didn't, but it did happen on our watch.
00:28:40.000 And that's why we need to engage at every level.
00:28:42.000 That's why I appreciate what you're doing, Charlie.
00:28:45.000 And I'm trying to join the fight with you.
00:28:47.000 It's so well said.
00:28:49.000 And this should not be a tough one for a country or a civilization.
00:28:53.000 And, Kirk, I actually think most parents, when properly educated, find the drag thing reprehensible and they find what you're trying to do rather admirable.
00:29:05.000 I mean, we could play tape after tape.
00:29:07.000 I mean, we had the Francis Parker school last week of the dean of students bragging about some of the most graphic sexual material going out to just teenagers, to underage kids.
00:29:18.000 I mean, this is a fight for our children in, you know, the highest stakes imaginable.
00:29:23.000 Yeah.
00:29:24.000 And now we see this isn't about for me.
00:29:27.000 This is not about drag queens per se, but we see them now teaching our children and in the White House with the president, signing celebratory documents that are redefining major institutions.
00:29:40.000 And what I'm saying is that we need to understand change does not start at the White House.
00:29:44.000 It starts at your house at the kitchen table in how we teach our children.
00:29:48.000 And then it works its way out from there.
00:29:50.000 So moms and dads, grandparents, get involved.
00:29:53.000 I totally agree.
00:29:54.000 Kirk Cameron, thank you so much.
00:29:56.000 Keep up the great work.
00:29:57.000 What's the name of the book one more time?
00:29:59.000 It's called As You Grow, and you can get a hold of it at Amazon or BraveBooks.com.
00:30:04.000 Thank you, Kirk.
00:30:05.000 God bless you.
00:30:06.000 Thank you.
00:30:07.000 You too.
00:30:08.000 It is really something that in our country, it is controversial to read about the fruit of the spirit.
00:30:17.000 And it is acceptable, popular, tolerated, subsidized to have half-naked, perverse weirdos dance in front of children.
00:30:30.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:30:32.000 Email me your thoughts as always: freedom at charliekirk.com.
