00:04:13.000 On the surface, it looks as if this is a couple of professors who said, Oh, white rural voters are the problem.

00:04:25.000 They wrote a book about it.
00:04:27.000 This is considered to be premier research by professors.
00:04:33.000 This is considered to be scholarship.
00:04:36.000 Again, they're wealthier than they have ever been.
00:04:39.000 The stock market is higher than it has ever been.
00:04:44.000 They are in a place of power.
00:04:49.000 And what keeps them up at night is a plumber who's a veteran earning $65,000 a year in Tupelo, Mississippi.
00:05:03.000 He pays his taxes, goes to church, has a MAGA flag.
00:05:08.000 He's a threat to the country.
00:05:13.000 I want you to write down that term I just said: threat to the country.

00:05:34.000 I mean, we lay out the fourfold interconnected threat that white rural voters pose to the country.
00:05:39.000 First of all, and we show 30 polls and national studies to demonstrate this.

00:05:45.000 They're the most racist, xenophobic, anti-immigrant, and anti-gay geodemographic group in the country.

00:05:52.000 QAnon support and subscribers, election denialism, COVID denialism, and scientific skepticism, Obama burtherism.
00:06:00.000 Third, anti-democratic sentiments.
00:06:02.000 They don't believe in an independent press, free speech.
00:06:05.000 They're most likely to say the president should be able to act unilaterally without any checks from Congress or the courts or their bureaucracy.
00:06:11.000 They're also the most strongly white nationalist and white Christian nationalists.
00:06:15.000 And fourth, they are most likely to excuse or justify violence as an acceptable alternative to peaceful public discourse.

00:06:24.000 I want you to think about how demented these people are.
00:06:27.000 Their work is not about trying to improve the country.
00:06:31.000 Not about trying to say, hey, you know, we have a wide open border and there's 15,000 illegals coming into the country every day.

00:06:39.000 The problem is white rural voters.

00:13:52.000 A lot of opioids, a lot of fentanyl that have come into these communities, but they still have a love for the country.

00:14:07.000 They're the first ones to sign up for the military.
00:14:09.000 The first ones to give money to charity.
00:14:11.000 They rush into help when you're in trouble, in need, in danger.

00:14:20.000 They hated because deep down, they cause shame in our elites because those lunatic, demented authors of this book have never done anything for their country.

00:15:13.000 The problem is not the fact that we ignore the United States Constitution or that we lock down the schools, we push an mRNA gene-altering vaccine, or that we have a war a month in Yemen.

00:20:39.000 If you are afraid that they might say something that would be like hate speech, not even say it, you think they might, they can be fined $20,000 and you don't ever get to face your accuser.

00:21:20.000 And Glenn, you know, you and I had a dialogue recently, and I don't want to talk about everything we said privately, but one of the essences I know you'd be okay with saying is that we have to be disciplined at this moment because when they start arresting people like Steve Baker, who looks like a high school algebra teacher, I mean, this guy's not a threat to the country.
