00:01:32.000 How to Beat the Woke and Save the West.
00:01:35.000 It's 45books.com.
00:01:36.000 That is 45books.com.
00:01:39.000 The book is going really well.
00:01:40.000 And Chapter 7, Reject the Cult of Defeat.
00:01:44.000 And that is partially what we're going to be talking about this hour, is how do we reject that cult of defeat?
00:01:51.000 Now, the new Fox News poll, again, came out, and it was really interesting.
00:01:57.000 First of all, I find part of it to be inaccurate.
00:01:59.000 But if they use the same methodology that they did in 2020, we're in a much better spot.
00:02:03.000 A much better spot.
00:02:05.000 The same poll in 2020 showed Trump down 12 points.
00:02:10.000 This one showed Trump down two points.
00:02:12.000 Now, they said Trump losing rural voters.
00:02:14.000 That's not going to happen.
00:02:16.000 But joining us now is Matt Boyle from Breitbart.com.
00:02:20.000 Matt, you sat down with Senator J.D.
00:02:23.000 Vance, who I hope becomes Trump's vice presidential selection.
00:02:27.000 Your impressions?
00:02:28.000 Yeah, look, I had a blast this weekend in Detroit at the People's Convention.
00:02:33.000 I thought you guys did a great job putting on that event.
00:02:36.000 And I think it's really important, look, not just what happens on that main stage with those big programs and the big speakers.
00:02:45.000 You know, the famous people coming and going, but also the real work that you guys are doing in those training sessions, teaching people how to do the, um, the ballot chasing operations, because, uh, as you're mentioning there at the outset, the polls look good, right?
00:03:00.000 Like across the board, even the ones that like that Fox poll, which is dumb for a number of reasons, but the, um, you know, we just saw just now, uh, in the lead up to the last hour or so, uh, Emerson college has released new battleground state polls.
00:03:15.000 done over the last several days that showed Donald Trump leading every
00:03:19.000 single battleground state and he's tied with Biden in Minnesota.
00:03:23.000 Again, I did a number of interviews there when I was there at the Turning
00:03:29.000 Point Action People's Convention, and frankly, I was laying out the pathway
00:03:35.000 to victory for the 270 electoral votes for President Trump.
00:03:39.000 And I am firmly of the belief at this point that Donald Trump has more pathways to 270 electoral votes than Joe Biden.
00:03:47.000 If Donald Trump holds together everything he had in 2020, and then flips back Georgia and Arizona, both of which are looking pretty good right now.
00:04:00.000 You know, don't take anything to the bank until it's done and all the work has to go out there and be done over the course of the next several months.
00:04:06.000 I want to expand on that really quick, Matt.
00:04:09.000 So the Emerson poll is a typically liberal-leaning poll.
00:04:11.000 Do you know if it was likely voters or registered voters?
00:04:13.000 Do you know?
00:04:14.000 I actually am pulling it up.
00:04:15.000 or Minnesota or Virginia. There's a number of other ones out there too.
00:04:20.000 But the point is, I want to expand on that really quick, Matt. So the Emerson poll is a
00:04:24.000 typically liberal leaning poll. Do you know if it was likely voters or registered voters? Do you
00:04:28.000 know? I actually am pulling it up. I'm trying to see. They usually will be, but I'm not sure.
00:04:34.000 They were one of the, yeah, they're a liberal pollster, but they also tend to get it a little bit more right than some of the other ones out there.
00:04:40.000 I remember back in 2016, they were like, it was their polls and we were doing polls with Gravis at the time.
00:04:47.000 They were like the only ones that saw it coming.
00:04:50.000 Yeah, so I'm going to see if it's likely or registered, because if it's likely, the polls are probably underestimating Trump's support, because the unlikely voter is where Trump is doing better.
00:05:02.000 Now, Matt, I want to isolate one part of this, which is important, and then I want to get to your clip with JD Vance.
00:05:07.000 So, fascinating element here.
00:05:09.000 In Wisconsin, more candidates on the ballot hurts Trump.
00:05:13.000 In Minnesota, it helps Trump.
00:05:15.000 In Michigan, it helps Trump.
00:05:17.000 Pennsylvania, it helps Trump.
00:05:19.000 In Georgia, Trump is up 4 if it's just Trump-Biden.
00:05:24.000 Trump is up 8 points with 5 options in Georgia.
00:05:29.000 In Arizona, no net increase.
00:05:30.000 4 points, 4 points.
00:05:31.000 In Nevada, 3 points, 3 points.
00:05:33.000 Your reaction, Matt Boyle.
00:05:35.000 Yeah, look, I think it's a little bit more complicated than, like, RFK pulls votes from Trump or RFK pulls votes from Biden.
00:05:43.000 I do think there's a lot of disdain out there among a lot of different people on both sides with the two-party system.
00:05:52.000 And let's be frank, people don't want to see the rematch, right?
00:05:56.000 But that's the choice that we're given, and the next president of the United States will be Donald Trump or it will be Joe Biden.
00:06:05.000 One of these other third party options.
00:06:07.000 I do think, though, that when you add in the other options, like the people like Jill Stein or Cornel West, they pull exclusively from Democrats, right?
00:06:17.000 And you see the radical left protests on college campuses over the last several months.
00:06:23.000 Those are the people that are likely to go to a Cornel West or a Jill Stein.
00:06:28.000 And we saw Jill Stein really play A spoiler in many respects against Hillary Clinton in 2016, right?
00:06:36.000 Like, you know, some of the battleground states that were really close, like a Michigan, like a Minnesota, that was a big part of why the election played out the way it did.
00:06:50.000 And I think that seeing strong third party candidates out there does hurt Biden on On the whole, more than it hurts Trump, though, I do think RFK pulls a little bit from Trump and that's not a good thing.
00:07:05.000 So the right needs to continue to expose the fact that he is a lifelong Democrat.
00:07:11.000 He did say some cool stuff about COVID and he said some cool stuff about Some different other things, but like this is not a time to play games, right?
00:07:19.000 Like again, the President of the United States will be Donald Trump or it will be Joe Biden.
00:07:23.000 It's that simple.
00:07:25.000 Let's play Cut 132, your viral clip with JD Vance 132.
00:07:30.000 If you look at who serves, who fights and dies in American wars, it is disproportionately middle class people from the industrial Midwest.
00:07:38.000 Like you go to a Marine Corps base, when I served, and you will see a ton of Texas and a ton of Ohio license plates, right?
00:07:45.000 It was sort of, it became like a joke.
00:07:47.000 Everybody in the Marine Corps is either from Texas or from Ohio, right?
00:07:50.000 That means that those people, those sort of patriotic Americans, they're sending their kids to the United States Marine Corps, to the United States Army.
00:07:57.000 They don't want to send those kids to fight for Volodymyr Zelensky.
00:08:01.000 If we send American boys and girls to war...
00:08:04.000 They want it to be for America's interests.
00:08:05.000 And I think Trump, better than anybody in American politics today, can go and make the argument that we are for peace when we need to, and we're only going to fight a war when we have to.
00:08:14.000 But when we do, we're going to punch hard and we're going to win.
00:08:17.000 We're not doing these sort of global wars of democracy, which again is something the Biden administration has really doubled down on.
00:08:24.000 I think Trump would take us in a different direction.
00:08:26.000 But we got to make that pitch to people that if you want your kid to go and fight in some stupid globalist war, Vote for Joe Biden.
00:08:31.000 If you want to send American Marines and soldiers to fight only when we have to, vote for Donald Trump.
00:08:37.000 Tell us a little bit more about that clip and your impression with being with J.D.
00:08:41.000 Vance.
00:08:41.000 Do you think he'd be a solid vice presidential pick?
00:08:43.000 Yeah, no doubt, Charlie.
00:08:44.000 He would definitely be a very solid pick.
00:08:46.000 Probably the best of the crop.
00:08:47.000 And look, we have an abundance of riches on the right.
00:08:49.000 Like, I have nothing against the other people that are in the mix for this either.
00:08:53.000 But the fact of the matter is that the J.D.
00:08:56.000 Vance would, I think, really help Donald Trump seal the deal with white working class voters in the upper Rust Belt states, right?
00:09:03.000 Like, so Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, that's where Trump needs to really push the envelope to win the election.
00:09:11.000 And that's the conversation that I was having with the Senator there at the People's Convention was about that.
00:09:17.000 The question I was asking him Um, which you don't see in the clip there, but the, uh, the question I was asking him is how do you win those Rust Belt voters, right?
00:09:25.000 How do you get them to make sure that they vote for Donald Trump?
00:09:28.000 And that's what he's talking about.
00:09:29.000 And I think he really connects with those people because he is those people, right?
00:09:33.000 Like, and so I think that JD Vance's background, his story are extremely powerful and he has a, an understanding of those issues.
00:09:41.000 Again, like I said, I have no dog in the fight, and I like a lot of the other people being talked about.
00:09:47.000 Burgum is fine, and Rubio's fine, and Tim Scott's fine.
00:09:50.000 I like all of them.
00:09:51.000 I have great personal relationships with them, but I do think that J.D.
00:09:54.000 Vance has the edge with President Trump in helping him connect back with those people even more so, and would help steer the campaign in a way that is designed to actually win that fight.
00:10:08.000 Matt Boyle, great work.
00:10:09.000 Thank you so much.
00:10:10.000 Yep, you bet.

00:11:13.000 Can you name the Ten Commandments without Googling it?
00:11:16.000 .
00:11:17.000 If you can, I'll send you, the first person to do so, a signed book.
00:11:21.000 It's the honor system, you could obviously do it, but I'll be able to tell if you Google it or not, because if you ask an Orthodox Jew, or just a Jew, what are the Ten Commandments?
00:11:33.000 If you ask a Catholic, what are the Ten Commandments, and you ask a Protestant, you get three different answers.
00:11:38.000 It's the same list, but they actually have different breakdowns of what actually is a commandment.
00:11:45.000 So, for example, in Judaism, they believe the first statement, first of all, in Hebrew, it's really the Ten Statements, not the Ten Commandments.
00:11:53.000 And the first statement is in Exodus 20, when Moses goes up to Sinai, the first statement is, I am the Lord your God, who delivered you out of Egypt, the house of bondage.
00:12:06.000 That is actually the first statement in Judaism.
00:12:10.000 In Catholicism and Protestantism, that is not considered the First Commandment.
00:12:14.000 The First Commandment is, you shall have no other gods before me.
00:12:19.000 Now, interestingly, there's a debate between Protestants and Catholics, and I noticed this, no one taught me this, but we had in our home the Ten Commandments.
00:12:30.000 And I know them.
00:12:31.000 I've studied them.
00:12:33.000 The Ten Commandments, I've dedicated a fair amount of scholarship to.
00:12:36.000 I don't know the whole Bible as well as I would like to.
00:12:39.000 I know it pretty well.
00:12:40.000 But the Ten Commandments, I know very, very well.
00:12:43.000 And all of a sudden, I was looking at the Ten Commandments in our home, and Erica got it passed down in her family, and her family was Catholic.
00:12:49.000 And I said, those aren't the Ten Commandments.
00:12:52.000 You see, in Catholicism, the second commandment is not the same as the second commandment in Judaism and in Protestantism, which is the second commandment is, you shall have no idols or you shall make no like forms.
00:13:05.000 You shall have no craven images.
00:13:07.000 Catholicism put one and two together, for whatever reason you can speculate, and then at the end, in Catholicism, they turn thou shall not covet into two separate Commandments.
00:13:18.000 Thou shalt not covet your neighbor's wife, and thou shalt not covet your neighbor's ox.
00:13:23.000 So, covet gets two commandments in Catholicism, and they blend one and two into one.
00:13:29.000 That's the way that Catholics want to do it.
00:13:31.000 Okay, so the Ten Commandments is the basis of Western civilization.
00:13:37.000 So it goes very simply and very clearly.
00:13:39.000 And again, how many people can actually name them?
00:13:41.000 It's a very important thing.
00:13:43.000 Which, of course, is the first commandment.
00:13:46.000 You shall have no other gods before me.
00:13:49.000 I am the Lord your God and you shall have no other gods before me.
00:13:52.000 You shall make no craven images.
00:13:55.000 Then it goes, you shall not take the Lord's name in vain.
00:14:02.000 But that's actually not the commandment, is that you shall not carry the Lord's name in vain.
00:14:08.000 I don't have time in this segment to tell you what exactly that means, but it means do not do evil in the name of God.
00:14:15.000 For six days you shall work and for one day you shall rest to keep the Sabbath day holy.
00:14:19.000 Also, your slave, your ox, also get a Sabbath day.
00:14:23.000 The fifth commandment, which is the bridge between the divine and humanity, is honor your mother and father so that you shall live long in the land of which you are in.
00:14:35.000 The only one of the Ten Commandments that has a promise and involves your nation.
00:14:38.000 So, I gotta move faster because I'm running out of time.
00:14:39.000 Of course, shall not murder, shall not commit adultery, shall not steal, shall not bear fault witness against your neighbor, and shall not covet.
00:14:46.000 Okay, who could disagree with that list?
00:14:48.000 The Ten Commandments.
00:14:50.000 Well, Louisiana has just done an amazing thing, and they are now requiring the Ten Commandments to be displayed in every public school classroom, and I think this is awesome.
00:15:01.000 Now, some people will say separation of church and state, and I will say, well, where in the Constitution does it say separation of church and state?
00:15:06.000 It doesn't say that.
00:15:08.000 That is from the Warren Court and the Burger Court that went back to Thomas Jefferson's letter to the Danbury Baptist Convention in 1807 when he guaranteed that the state would no go after the church.
00:15:18.000 But do you really believe in separation of morality and state?
00:15:21.000 Nobody does.
00:15:22.000 The Ten Commandments, whether you like it or not, is the basis of Western society.
00:15:28.000 Do you know that the Ten Commandments is in the Supreme Court?
00:15:31.000 Do you know Moses, the greatest lawgiver of all time, is in the House of Representatives?
00:15:35.000 His face is right at the Speaker's Rotunda.
00:15:40.000 If everybody would know and follow the Ten Commandments, who could argue the country would be worse off?
00:15:48.000 I applaud Governor Landry for passing this piece of legislation.
00:15:53.000 I applaud Louisiana to put this forward.
00:15:56.000 The Ten Commandments are a threat to globalists.
00:15:59.000 God is a threat.
00:16:00.000 And more importantly, the belief that there is a God and you are not him.
00:16:04.000 That there is a God that instructs you a certain way to live.
00:16:08.000 Honor your parents.
00:16:09.000 The trans zealots don't believe that.
00:16:11.000 Do not give false testimony to your neighbor.
00:16:13.000 Dr. Fauci doesn't believe that.
00:16:14.000 Shall not murder.
00:16:15.000 Planned Parenthood doesn't believe that.
00:16:17.000 Shall not steal.
00:16:18.000 The case for looting.
00:16:19.000 And BLM does not believe that.
00:16:21.000 I could go through every one of the Ten Commandments and almost every single one of them violates the core tenets of the Democrat Party.
00:16:27.000 Maybe that's why the ACLU is suing.
00:16:29.000 Maybe that's why the Democrats are outraged that the divine commandments from God himself that built the West are now re-emerging.
00:16:38.000 in public school classrooms in Louisiana.
00:16:41.000 I think it's awesome.
00:16:41.000 Praise God!
00:16:45.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:16:46.000 I want to share with you an upcoming film that has core values like bravery, courage, individuality, hope, and firm faith that the best is yet to come.

00:17:35.000 Don't miss Horizon, an American Saga, Chapter 1 in theaters June 28th and Chapter 2 in theaters August 16th.
00:17:43.000 Again, it is an American Saga.
00:17:45.000 Check it out right now.
00:17:48.000 Joining us now is Darren Beattie from Revolver.News.
00:17:51.000 That is Revolver.News.
00:17:53.000 Check it out right now.
00:17:54.000 Darren, welcome to the program.
00:17:55.000 Talk about this new story on Revolver News.
00:17:58.000 Predictive programming, shocking claim the Deep State is plotting a false flag terrorist attack.
00:18:02.000 Tell us about this.
00:18:03.000 Well, you know, you're hearing this chatter increasingly on news shows and in commentary, this specter of a prospective terror attack.
00:18:13.000 And this was, I believe, an Axios report that cited one of the same You can get a sense both as to this person's credibility and this person's political agenda.
00:18:32.000 And when you attach those two items to this prediction of a likely terror attack, it's deeply concerning, especially in light of the fact that As I've been saying, and a lot of people have been saying, the Biden regime, and Biden in particular, is in panic mode because the ace up their sleeve this time was the lawfare.
00:18:56.000 The ace up their sleeve this time was the Stormy Daniels trial that everyone understands is a joke and has backfired.
00:19:04.000 That is the COVID of 2024, and it hasn't worked well like COVID did.
00:19:10.000 And so they need something else.
00:19:12.000 And people are starting to say, Are they really going to pull out the ultimate ace, which is the World War Three card, and hope that that can help to assure Biden of the presidency?
00:19:23.000 That's sort of the broader context in which this becomes.
00:19:26.000 So let's just be clear.
00:19:28.000 I mean, we've been talking about a Black Swan event for quite some time.
00:19:31.000 So is the FBI and CIA, are they planning to kill a bunch of people and then lie about it so they can steal another election?
00:19:38.000 Well, I wouldn't put it past them at all.
00:19:40.000 Again, people do very desperate and very stupid and very dangerous things when they're in panic mode.
00:19:48.000 And this is certainly the condition that the regime is in.
00:19:52.000 If there's anyone from the FBI or CIA or any of these agencies listening and There's always a few full-time people who are just paid to listen to our programs and read our sites to find naughty things that they can complain about.
00:20:07.000 But if there's anyone from these agencies listening, I'm going to urge you, don't do it.
00:20:12.000 It won't actually help.
00:20:13.000 Yes, there's a traditional advantage to the incumbency when there's a major attack, but I would submit that Biden is in a state of such obvious senescence, such conspicuous mental decline, That any event of that type of magnitude would only worsen his position because nobody wants somebody like Biden on the helm, doddering, diapering Biden in a World War III situation.
00:20:41.000 So I think that's going to be the exception.
00:20:44.000 If the regime thinks that that's going to help Biden, They need to think again because it will only highlight the deficiencies of Biden as a leader in time of crisis.
00:20:54.000 So what can we do as citizens to prevent?
00:20:57.000 I think, honestly, us having this discussion and talking about a potential Black Swan event might mute and might slow down their willingness or zeal to do something.
00:21:07.000 Do you agree with that, Darren, that sunlight is the best disinfectant?
00:21:12.000 100 percent, Charlie.
00:21:14.000 Predictive programming works both ways.
00:21:17.000 We can tell people, look, false flags are a thing.
00:21:20.000 The government is corrupt.
00:21:22.000 The government has done this before.
00:21:24.000 Don't buy it.
00:21:26.000 And people are prepared.
00:21:27.000 And you know what?
00:21:28.000 It's not just about this single kind of conversation or even the concept of a false flag.
00:21:34.000 Over the past seven, eight years or so, the regime has Destroyed its own credibility and legitimacy to the point that people don't believe anything anymore.
00:21:47.000 Even stuff that's real, people don't believe.
00:21:49.000 That's the state of distrust that we're in.
00:21:52.000 And so the whole concept of a false flag, I think, is predicated on the type of legitimacy that existed in a different era.
00:22:00.000 I don't think the government can get away with false flags anymore at all, period, let alone in this Highly suspicious type of circumstance.
00:22:10.000 So I hate to say this.
00:22:11.000 I get angry emails when I go after this.
00:22:14.000 But are they going to try and assassinate Donald Trump?
00:22:17.000 And do you have confidence that he is protected and safe?
00:22:22.000 You know, I yeah, that's always a danger.
00:22:24.000 And again, that, you know, this assassinations have happened before.
00:22:28.000 So we we never want to dismiss this entirely.
00:22:32.000 I suspect that sort of thing would be highly unlikely, but it's certainly something we want to watch out for.
00:22:38.000 And again, as uncomfortable as it is even to articulate it out loud, there's some kind of inoculation effect to articulating it again, to put in people's minds, watch out for this.
00:22:50.000 So the regime knows that if they were to do something like this, it wouldn't work the way that they thought it would work.
00:22:56.000 They should take pause and look, look how spectacularly Their lawfare efforts have failed.
00:23:02.000 They were really counting on the two lame, impotent words, convicted felon to do the heavy lifting that this fake pandemic did in 2024.
00:23:14.000 This thing where they shut down the entire global economy over basically nothing.
00:23:20.000 They're counting on a stormy Daniels trial to do that kind of heavy lifting because of the scary words, convicted felon.
00:23:28.000 The word felon, Only has the kind of purchase that they were expecting in a situation in which the legal system is perceived as legitimate, which is not the situation today.
00:23:40.000 So again, a lot of these old tricks that they have are predicated upon, have as a presupposition, the underlying legitimacy or perception of legitimacy that simply doesn't exist anymore due to years and years and years of lies and proven lies.
00:23:58.000 Yeah, I think you're right.
00:23:59.000 And again, I I think us actually mentioning publicly that there might be an assassination attempt against Donald Trump.
00:24:06.000 I'll tell the audience this.
00:24:08.000 This last weekend, we had an amazing event in Detroit, Michigan.
00:24:11.000 We had Secret Service there.
00:24:13.000 And everyone knows we've had our disputes of Secret Service, overly bureaucratic and Biden centric.
00:24:17.000 However, I want to give them a compliment.
00:24:19.000 There was a system that they had put up where you must enter through certain doors and all this sort of stuff.
00:24:25.000 Detroit Police Department, which is not exactly a group of rocket scientists, they allowed four people in through a separate entrance that had backpacks and that were not screened by Secret Service.
00:24:36.000 Secret Service found out about it and they shut down the entire convention center, found out that it was benign, it wasn't bombs or anything, but they made everyone leave, re-screened them out of an abundance of caution.
00:24:48.000 Now, again, that actually screwed up our day.
00:24:52.000 It delayed our programming by nearly an hour and a half.
00:24:54.000 It was a total pain in the neck.
00:24:56.000 A ton of people were angry.
00:24:57.000 A ton of people were complaining.
00:24:59.000 Ninety minutes later, we finally reopened stuff.
00:25:01.000 However, I saw a Secret Service organization that was taking the protection of Donald Trump so seriously.
00:25:08.000 I have to wonder, Darren, is that because we're openly talking about this and they now take this as a sense of a challenge, an obligation to keep him safe?
00:25:18.000 Their defenses aren't down, is what I'm saying.
00:25:20.000 No, that could be.
00:25:21.000 But, you know, there's the political element and the political rubric of the Secret Service.
00:25:26.000 That's a problem.
00:25:26.000 They're under the DHS.
00:25:28.000 And there is a lot of political problems with the Secret Service.
00:25:34.000 But the agents themselves, I mean, they are the best in the world.
00:25:37.000 This is the best protective detail in the world.
00:25:41.000 Very well funded.
00:25:42.000 The people are very well trained and very serious.
00:25:46.000 You've dealt with them extensively.
00:25:47.000 I've dealt with them and in every such dealing they've exhibited the highest level of professionalism.
00:25:54.000 So it doesn't surprise me what you say.
00:25:56.000 They have a very serious job and they take it very seriously.
00:26:01.000 I want to get to this story here, Revolver.News.
00:26:04.000 Major tentacle sliced off censorship beast with disgraced Stanford think tank shut down.
00:26:10.000 The internet was supposed to be at first a force of liberation.
00:26:13.000 And then, remember how much they loved the internet and social media when Obama was running
00:26:17.000 for office?
00:26:18.000 Look at the internet, look at social media.
00:26:19.000 We can get all these progressive people elected, but then Donald Trump used the internet in
00:26:23.000 2016 to defeat Hillary Clinton, and then all of a sudden became a disinformation problem.
00:26:28.000 But then they used the internet and social media in 2020 to launch a color revolution
00:26:31.000 against its own people to get Joe Biden in through Floyd Apus and COVID.
00:26:35.000 And social media was amazing again.
00:26:37.000 But now social media is a problem again because TikTok is challenging the mainstream opinion.
00:26:43.000 What is going on here with this story?
00:26:45.000 Stanford think tank shuts down.
00:26:46.000 Well, you know, the censorship.
00:26:49.000 Archipelago, the censorship apparatus or some called the censorship industrial complex is very complicated and different components.
00:26:57.000 I would tell the story as follows that originally people thought that the censorship problem was the result of enthusiastic left wing fanatics embedded within The various big tech companies and to be sure that is a very real part of the problem.
00:27:15.000 Just look at people like Yul Roth, the former head of Twitter Public Safety, to take but one of many examples.
00:27:23.000 But as time went on, I think people paying attention caught on to a different and even darker dimension, which is that the censorship in many ways is being driven by the government, by the regime, by the national security state.
00:27:40.000 And just as, you know, we were reporting on the color revolution being a sort of specific regime change methodology favored by a subset of the national security state and that group reorienting these tools to go after Trump, so many of the social media tools and the censorship and even terms of art, like disinformation and misinformation, these come from an intelligence and even foreign policy type context, usually used in the context of Information wars between national nation states.
00:28:15.000 Those terms, that vocabulary and the approach was similarly repurposed domestically in order to silence conversations and narratives thought to be damaging to Biden or thought to be favorable to Trump.
00:28:32.000 And the mechanism of this was driven by the government, specifically the DHS, but also other agencies.
00:28:41.000 Darren, you were closing your thought there.
00:28:42.000 I cut you off your thoughts.
00:28:44.000 No problem.
00:28:45.000 So their first dimension censors within the big tech companies themselves.
00:28:49.000 Second dimension was this is also a government problem.
00:28:52.000 The government, particularly the national security state, and more particularly, the Department of Homeland Security has been a driving force of censoring all these narratives.
00:29:01.000 The third dimension are these sort of private public NGO cutouts that exist to outsource the censorship capabilities that the government wants to implement in a way that circumvents First Amendment issues.
00:29:19.000 And in that context, a variety of think tanks popped up all over the country and universities.
00:29:26.000 One of them is the Stanford Internet Observatory that invokes the imagery of kind of, you know, telescope, you know, looking at the cosmos or something.
00:29:35.000 But what it is, is a bunch of hall monitor librarian types with a chip on their shoulder, Monitoring what you say and trying to shut you up and censor you.
00:29:46.000 This was one of the most notorious outfits.
00:29:49.000 Some of the people running it included Alex Stamos, who resigned in disgrace, and Rene DiResta, who's resigned in disgrace.
00:29:58.000 And now, a rare and important victory, the entire observatory looks like it's in shambles, has funding problems, and looks to be shutting down.
00:30:07.000 Major credit there, and also credit to Mike Benz and his organization, Foundation for Freedom Online, that did a lot of work in exposing this root.
00:30:16.000 I'd like to say one thing about this one, because the question is, okay, that's great that this organization has failed and looks to be disbanded.
00:30:24.000 It's great these people lost their jobs, but the real question is, are they just going to turn up somewhere else?
00:30:30.000 Because that typically seems to be what happens.
00:30:32.000 And ultimately, you know, we need to cut this thing and its root.
00:30:37.000 And just to give a story, this woman, Renee DiResta, she's one of these censorship professionals.
00:30:43.000 She's just as ridiculous and just as dangerous as the famous singer, the moaning Myrtle, Nina Yankovich, that was the ridiculous woman they put in charge of the ill-fated DHS group.
00:30:56.000 Renee DiResta got this job at Stanford from having worked with a group called New Knowledge.
00:31:03.000 New Knowledge was an organization that did the public service ...of alerting us to the dangers of Russian disinformation and Russian meddling.
00:31:11.000 The only problem with that, they were caught red-handed creating bots and pretending to be Russian, and having these fake Russian bots support candidates like Roy Moore in the Alabama election, and then after that, complaining that people like Roy Moore were supported by meddling Russians.
00:31:35.000 You can't make this up.
00:31:36.000 It's that crazy.
00:31:38.000 And they were caught red-handed doing this.
00:31:40.000 And you think in any sane world, an organization that exists to amplify the alleged threat of Russian influence, that's caught red-handed creating fake Russians doing fake influence.
00:31:54.000 You'd think that there would be no future for that.
00:31:57.000 You'd think anyone remotely affiliated with that would never work in this town again, so to speak.
00:32:02.000 But, sure enough, these people do nothing but fail upward.
00:32:06.000 When you're swimming with the current of the Biden regime, you fail upwards.
00:32:10.000 And sure enough, Renee DiResta landed at this position in Stanford, where in turn, their new nefarious practices were exposed.
00:32:18.000 And again, she leaves in disgrace.
00:32:20.000 And so the big question is, Where is she going to end up?
00:32:23.000 We're going to have to do a follow-up piece to trace all of these sort of censorship all-stars and see where they actually land because it seems like it's a game of whack-a-mole that the left infrastructure just takes care of their own and they find some other sinecure, some other censorship position at some new organization because they have unlimited funding and the media is on their side.
00:32:46.000 So nonetheless, I would consider this a major victory, not only because the Stanford Internet Observatory looks to be defunct, but I think in general, the whole disinformation scam peaked in 2020.
00:33:02.000 I think it peaked in 2020.
00:33:03.000 It looks to be weakened.
00:33:05.000 Now, part of the reason for this, I hate to always like, you know, add bad news to the good news, but part of the reason for this is that the regime has decided that instead of deplatforming
00:33:17.000 and censoring the people they don't like, for the real problem cases,
00:33:21.000 they can just indict them and throw them in prison.
00:33:24.000 That's the new deplatforming.
00:33:26.000 That's the highlight of 2024.
00:33:28.000 So again, hate to add the bad news to good news, but we want to accurately understand the situation we're in.
00:33:34.000 How can people support you, Darren?
00:33:36.000 Go to revolver.news, revolver.news, read this piece on the Stanford Internet Observatory, and read our classic piece extensive on Renee DiResta.
00:33:45.000 You won't believe this woman.
00:33:47.000 You won't believe people like this exist.
00:33:49.000 So go to revolver.news, read the piece, and share it.
00:33:53.000 Okay, very good.
00:33:54.000 Darren, thanks so much.
00:33:55.000 Thank you.
00:33:58.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:33:59.000 Email us, as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:34:01.000 Thanks so much for listening and God bless.
