The Charlie Kirk Show - Why Tucker Matters with Donald Trump Jr. and Darren Beattie

00:00:00.000 Hey, everybody, Tan the Charlie Kirk Show.

00:00:01.000 Darren Beattie is with us.

00:00:05.000 Talks about the Tucker Carlson.

00:00:07.000 Seems like to be a termination, a firing, departure, that's for sure.

00:00:11.000 Also, January 6th news.

00:00:13.000 Don Jr. joins us to talk about a new book, very exciting book, and also reacting to the Tucker news.

00:00:18.000 Email us freedom at charliekirk.com and support our program at charliekirk.com/slash support.

00:00:24.000 Buckle up, everybody.

00:00:25.000 Here, we go.

00:00:27.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:00:28.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.

00:00:31.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:00:34.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.

00:00:37.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:00:38.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:00:48.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:00:56.000 That's why we are here.

00:00:59.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.

00:01:10.000 Darren, welcome.

00:01:10.000 Revolver.news.

00:01:11.000 Check out Darren.

00:01:12.000 Darren, we're going to talk all about 60 minutes, but I think this actually all ties together potentially.

00:01:16.000 Darren, you've gone on Tucker's program multiple times to talk about ray-ups and to talk about Revolver.news.

00:01:22.000 Darren, I want to do this kind of mono.

00:01:24.000 I want to do this playing a couple clips with Chuck U. Schumer, which I think actually proves my point.

00:01:29.000 But I do want to get your initial reaction, Darren, the significance of Tucker Carlson tonight.

00:01:34.000 Obviously, Tucker's still alive and he'll do something, right?

00:01:36.000 But Tucker Carlson tonight being over, what is your reaction?

00:01:40.000 Well, it's certainly a major blow.

00:01:43.000 And of course, I have to assess how candid I want to be in my reaction because there's a lot of things to say.

00:01:50.000 So I guess initially I'll just say that, look, Tucker Carlson was the only person on American mainstream television who was willing to step outside of the playpin.

00:02:04.000 I understand that there are some exceptions, but for the most part, that's true.

00:02:09.000 And I'm not saying he wasn't just willing to step out of this playpin relative to, you know, the left or the right.

00:02:16.000 He was willing to step outside of the playpen with respect to American media as such.

00:02:22.000 He was the only person with the guts to challenge the story about Assad's chemical weapons attacks were being used as a pretext to basically launch the war that Hillary Clinton desperately wanted, but never got because Donald Trump was elected.

00:02:41.000 In so many areas, he was willing to touch the actual serious issues that nobody else would.

00:02:51.000 Not the, oh, look at what AOC was doing or this or that.

00:02:54.000 And even a lot of like the trans political popcorn.

00:02:58.000 He resisted political popcorn. 0.99

00:03:01.000 Look, and you know, I'm not, I think the trans stuff is ridiculous too, but it's kind of still in the playpen. 1.00

00:03:08.000 Like everybody can talk about the trans stuff and be like, oh, how outrageous that is. 1.00

00:03:12.000 Yes, it's outrageous.

00:03:13.000 He's willing to go further.

00:03:15.000 And one of the things that he was willing to touch, and he touched it early on at great risk to himself, was a January 6th stuff.

00:03:22.000 He amplified Revolver News's reporting more than anyone else.

00:03:26.000 And he was basically the only person on Fox who would dare to have me on.

00:03:29.000 And I'm not the only case.

00:03:31.000 There are other people who they wouldn't, you know, nobody would dare let them on any other Fox show, but Tucker would have them on to say things that you won't hear anywhere on American TV.

00:03:43.000 So he was an anomaly.

00:03:45.000 In many ways, he wasn't supposed to exist.

00:03:49.000 He was a glitch in the system.

00:03:51.000 Somebody saying the kinds of things that he says is not supposed to be on American prime time television.

00:03:59.000 It's not supposed to happen.

00:04:01.000 And I suppose for that reason, his time was limited to begin with.

00:04:07.000 This is a huge blow.

00:04:08.000 I mean, again, Tucker will be stronger than ever.

00:04:11.000 The narrative is now going to be harder for us to move.

00:04:14.000 It just is.

00:04:15.000 Fox News had grandfathered cable news contracts in 115 million homes.

00:04:19.000 Tucker was pulling between three to seven million people a night, upwards to 10 million, if you count clips and social media rewatches and YouTube.

00:04:26.000 That's 10 million people.

00:04:28.000 That is Overton window moving stuff.

00:04:30.000 Not to mention nearly every Republican lawmaker would watch Tucker Carlson at least once a night.

00:04:34.000 Every Republican governor on and on and on and on.

00:04:38.000 You watched him and you will look.

00:04:40.000 He was a rare source of accountability.

00:04:42.000 That's exactly.

00:04:42.000 You know, when some senator or congressman or governor was stepping out of line with some outrageous stuff, he would get him right back.

00:04:50.000 One segment on Tucker, one example, a great example.

00:04:54.000 So Ted Cruz, you know, he's not altogether bad.

00:04:58.000 Sometimes he's bad.

00:04:59.000 Sometimes he's good.

00:05:00.000 He wasn't talking about the Ray Epps stuff.

00:05:02.000 He wasn't talking about the January 6th stuff.

00:05:04.000 It was just serendipity.

00:05:06.000 It was worse than that.

00:05:07.000 He praised the police.

00:05:09.000 Remember that?

00:05:09.000 No, he praised.

00:05:11.000 It was some sort of weird thing where he said, thank you guys for protecting us.

00:05:14.000 He didn't say insurrection, but he said like a terror attack, right?

00:05:18.000 He said something.

00:05:18.000 Right.

00:05:20.000 But he happened to be on Tucker right after me one night.

00:05:23.000 And I was talking about Epps.

00:05:25.000 And just as the segue, he was asked about EPS.

00:05:29.000 And he was basically put on the spot and forced to address the EPS issue.

00:05:33.000 And that's what ultimately elevated it even beyond sort of Tucker's sphere into the more kind of mainstream conservative realm.

00:05:40.000 So there's so many different ways in which Tucker would put people on the spot, force them to kind of take a stance on something that otherwise they wouldn't by calling them out on his show.

00:05:52.000 And he was a very important and extremely rare source of corrective motivation on the right.

00:06:00.000 And I really, I can't think of any other example of somebody with that kind of influence.

00:06:06.000 So I want to play a couple pieces of tape here.

00:06:08.000 First is Chuck Hugh Schumer saying that Tucker Carlson needs to be censored.

00:06:11.000 Remember this?

00:06:12.000 This was only a couple months ago because the January 6th stuff, Darren, this was the Senate majority leader calling for the outright censorship of a cable news channel.

00:06:20.000 Play Cut 19.

00:06:22.000 These lies continue tonight.

00:06:25.000 Rupert Murdoch, who has admitted they were lies and said he regretted it, has a special obligation to stop Tucker Carlson from going on tonight now that he's seen how he has perverted and slimed the truth and from letting him go on again and again and again.

00:06:47.000 Not because their views deserve such opprobrium, but because our democracy depends on it.

00:06:54.000 If you think that the Tucker news isn't significant, why would the Senate majority leader be calling for the outright?

00:06:58.000 That's actually not the censorship clip.

00:07:00.000 On the Senate floor, he called for the actual censorship of a cable news broadcast.

00:07:06.000 Now, I want to get into the Ray Epps thing because I think there might be a wrinkle here, Darren, but I just want to remind our audience, people are saying, well, who's behind this?

00:07:12.000 Who's behind this?

00:07:13.000 Here's what I can guarantee you.

00:07:15.000 The national security apparatus, the same national security regime that tried to take out Donald Trump, they are definitely celebrating this.

00:07:24.000 Let me remind you what Chuck Hugh Schumer said, cut 20.

00:07:28.000 Tell you, you take on the intelligence community.

00:07:31.000 They have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you. 0.99

00:07:34.000 So even for a practical, supposedly hard-nosed businessman, he's being really dumb to do this. 0.97

00:07:40.000 He was talking about Donald Trump taking on the intelligence community. 0.96

00:07:43.000 Tucker took on the intelligence community quite often, and now he's out at Fox News.

00:07:48.000 Darren, your reaction.

00:07:49.000 Yep.

00:07:49.000 Well, again, he was a glitch in the system.

00:07:51.000 You're not supposed to have somebody on prime time television, sort of the slop feed.

00:08:00.000 You're not supposed to have someone talking about serious things that contravene the official narrative given to us by the National Security Establishment on a range of issues, including and especially January 6th.

00:08:13.000 It really is amazing to see just how the regime will close ranks to defend their false, malicious narrative about January 6th in particular.

00:08:23.000 They do not want to be challenged.

00:08:25.000 They are furious that Tucker Carlson and Revolver News basically reshaped the national conversation on this, such that even polls for Democrats reveal that most people have a sense that there was federal involvement in January 6th.

00:08:41.000 This is a massive loss to the regime because they're riding so much.

00:08:46.000 So much is writing on the lie about January 6th, because it was supposed to be that major domestic insurrection event that they used to justify the transformation of our entire society into some kind of surveillance, politically weaponized surveillance type state.

00:09:04.000 And they're still doing that to some degree.

00:09:06.000 But the fact that their narrative on January 6th is questionable, it's not been legitimized to the broader public, that most people, especially on the right or conservatives, even centrists, don't buy it.

00:09:19.000 That is a major loss to them.

00:09:21.000 They're furious.

00:09:22.000 They can't stand it and they need to basically punish those involved.

00:09:27.000 And that's why it looks like they're using Ray Epps.

00:09:30.000 They're going after Tucker.

00:09:31.000 I'm sure they're going after me.

00:09:33.000 Reps Epps has hired some, I think I spoke about it with you before.

00:09:38.000 Epps has hired this lawyer from Perkins Coy, who works for David Brock, probably one of the most notorious Democrat hatchet men.

00:09:48.000 You know, when David Brock's goons are partnering up with Ray Epps, it's not going to look good.

00:09:54.000 So, Darren, fill us in on 60 Minutes' coverage of Revolver.news.

00:09:58.000 Well, it's amazing.

00:09:59.000 I mean, the full story, you know, we don't have time for the full story.

00:10:05.000 The short version is: 60 Minutes did a segment on Ray Epps.

00:10:11.000 You know, kind of bizarre that they decide to do this sympathetic piece on Ray Epps.

00:10:17.000 They've joined the New York Times, Adam Kensinger, and others in the sense that Ray Epps is the only January 6th participant that they display any sympathy to, and they go out of their way to make an entire segment on Epps.

00:10:31.000 But the segment, which I watched last night, was really remarkable because the running theme was basically attacking so-called conspiracy sites that dared to question the official narrative with Epps.

00:10:44.000 They mentioned Revolver News like six times.

00:10:47.000 They show me on Tucker Carlson there, and yet they interview Epps and they don't interview me.

00:10:53.000 And one of their producers that I won't even bother naming because he's just kind of a bag carrier. 0.75

00:10:59.000 He's just kind of happy to be there and he's not making the decision.

00:11:02.000 So I don't want to bring him too much heat.

00:11:05.000 He's too busy carrying bags anyway.

00:11:08.000 But the bag carrier thought, okay, I'm going to set up an interview, Darren.

00:11:12.000 Would you be willing to do an interview?

00:11:14.000 And I said, look, I know this is going to be a scam job.

00:11:18.000 You have so many tools at your disposal.

00:11:21.000 We've seen how they treat other people on the right, and they've got a lot of stuff.

00:11:26.000 They can splice and dice.

00:11:28.000 They've got B-roll.

00:11:29.000 They can add context.

00:11:30.000 It's all pre-recorded.

00:11:31.000 They can do whatever they want.

00:11:32.000 And if you make an especially effective point, they could just take it out of the segment.

00:11:37.000 They have so many advantages.

00:11:40.000 And yet, even with all of those advantages, they decided at the last minute that it would be too dangerous to interview me and give me an opportunity to defend my reporting, which was the underlying theme of their entire segment.

00:11:55.000 And instead, they do this sympathetic portrayal of Ray Epps doing this sympathy tour saying, oh, all these people like Tucker and Revolver are making my life difficult.

00:12:06.000 Epps, the guy. caught on January 5th telling people to go into the Capitol.

00:12:12.000 The guy who was right there pre-positioned at the initial breach site, the guy whose behavior was so egregious, he's one of the first 20 listed on the FBI's most wanted list.

00:12:22.000 This guy remains free.

00:12:24.000 He wasn't even touched.

00:12:26.000 And we're supposed to have sympathy for him and not the grandmas rotting away in solitary confinement.

00:12:32.000 Give me a break.

00:12:34.000 And they didn't ask him any of the simple questions you would ask him.

00:12:37.000 Where did you get the idea to go into the Capitol?

00:12:40.000 Why don't you think you're arrested?

00:12:42.000 It was the ultimate softball.

00:12:44.000 And again, it's bizarre.

00:12:46.000 Why 60 Minutes New York Times defending Epps?

00:12:50.000 Why is the Perkins Coy Democrat machine lawyer who works for David Brock coming to the defense of Epps?

00:12:57.000 It doesn't make any sense.

00:13:00.000 And I think we have some tape here.

00:13:01.000 Let me see.

00:13:05.000 Let's do this one.

00:13:06.000 Let's go to cut one, where all of a sudden they're defending Ray Epps and saying, yeah, he's just like a normal Trump supporter.

00:13:12.000 You called these people insurrectionists and terrorists, and yet he's the exception.

00:13:15.000 Exactly.

00:13:16.000 Play cut one.

00:13:17.000 I think there were people on the hard right who were desperate for a scapegoat.

00:13:21.000 They didn't want to say that their side did this.

00:13:24.000 They didn't want to say that their president instigated this.

00:13:26.000 They're just desperate to pin it on somebody else.

00:13:28.000 So was Ray Epps just some hapless Trump supporter who got caught up in some outrageous conspiracy?

00:13:39.000 He absolutely is a Trump supporter who got caught up in an outrageous conspiracy theory.

00:13:45.000 They're putting all the weight of this conspiracy theory, all of it, on his shoulders.

00:13:51.000 Darren, your response.

00:13:52.000 I got it.

00:13:53.000 Oh, man.

00:13:54.000 I'm trying to keep my blood pressure down.

00:13:57.000 One minute, but your response.

00:13:58.000 Yes.

00:13:59.000 Imagine having teeth like that and going on national television.

00:14:03.000 And imagine the fact that they're willing to interview this overweight, nothing guy, pluck him out of some third-ranked nothing think tank that everyone laughs at to be the quote-unquote debunker of the theory.

00:14:16.000 They get this guy, you know, out of men's warehouse and they won't interview me to defend the reporting that's the major theme of their own thing.

00:14:25.000 It just shows it's not an exercise in journalism.

00:14:28.000 60 Minutes are a team of janitors doing a mop-up job for the increasingly transparent lies surrounding January 6th that the regime demands us to believe, no matter how impossible it is.

00:14:44.000 Speech is a threat to these people.

00:14:47.000 The fact that you have exposed this and you speak freely, they're very worried about it.

00:14:50.000 Darren, we're with you 100%.

00:14:52.000 Check out revolver.news.

00:14:53.000 That's revolver.news.

00:14:54.000 Thanks so much, Darren.

00:16:06.000 Don, your reaction.

00:16:07.000 Huge media news day.

00:16:08.000 First, Don Laman is out.

00:16:09.000 That's not as important.

00:16:10.000 But Tucker Carlson out at Fox News, your reaction.

00:16:14.000 I mean, I think it changes things permanently.

00:16:16.000 That's one of the few voices in the Republican Party that would call out the nonsense from GOP senators, governors, and otherwise.

00:16:26.000 You know, an actual thought leader in conservatism.

00:16:30.000 And, you know, the whole thing is, it's actually mind-blowing to me.

00:16:34.000 And I guess, and to everyone else, given what you've seen happen to Fox's market cap in the last few hours.

00:16:39.000 Yep.

00:16:40.000 So I hope whatever he does, he continues to be that voice for conservatism because, again, he's one of the few people pushing those boundaries, one of the few people actually speaking to independents and across the aisle and winning them over with facts, logic, and reason.

00:16:58.000 I think he's probably a once-in-a-generation type talent.

00:17:03.000 And to see him go is mind-boggling.

00:17:06.000 I don't know what they're thinking.

00:17:07.000 The company is down a billion dollars in market cap.

00:17:10.000 We'll see if they recover.

00:17:12.000 I have no idea.

00:17:13.000 So, Don, so many other topics I want to talk about.

00:17:16.000 I think, by the way, I know you have a show on Rumble.

00:17:18.000 I think Tucker would be great at Rumble.

00:17:20.000 I think he'd be amazing.

00:17:21.000 I think it'd be 100%, man.

00:17:23.000 I'd love to see him there.

00:17:25.000 I think, you know, we've seen sort of the mainstream media and everything that they're doing anyway.

00:17:29.000 I think perhaps even a talent like his is wasted in those kind of areas.

00:17:34.000 I'd love to see Tucker speak his mind.

00:17:37.000 Not that he doesn't, but speak with even fewer restraints on a platform where he's not answering to the Paul Ryans and the Karl Rogues and doesn't have to get that call that he went out of line saying what we all know to be true.

00:17:52.000 I mean, the old conspiracy theory is the new I Told You So in advance.

00:17:59.000 And he was one of the guys actually calling BS on all the stuff that was so obviously BS.

00:18:06.000 We need that and we can't lose that kind of talent on our side.

00:18:08.000 No, not at all.

00:18:09.000 So Don, I want to talk about the new book out and remind people, it's number one on Amazon right now.

00:18:15.000 It's a very special book called Letters to Trump.

00:18:18.000 And you guys can get it on Amazon, also Winning Team Publishing.

00:18:22.000 Don, tell us all about it.

00:18:23.000 Very exciting stuff.

00:18:24.000 Yeah, listen, it was one of those things.

00:18:26.000 You know, I started a publishing company with some of our friends.

00:18:29.000 As you know, we've done one of your books because what was happening in publishing was the same thing that's happened everywhere else, where you're censoring one side, you're muting the thought of conservatives.

00:18:39.000 And so this was an interesting one.

00:18:41.000 And going through some of my father's archives and just doing some organizing, we noticed all of these letters that him and I guess his assistants had kept throughout the years from all of these people, just celebrities around the world, politicians, actors, so many of whom over the last few years have changed their tune about Donald Trump.

00:19:01.000 And so we really just aggregated all of these notes into a book so people can understand exactly what's going on in the hypocrisy of the world.

00:19:10.000 You know, you come out as a conservative, you push for America first values, and all of a sudden they're so against you.

00:19:16.000 And yet that wasn't how they always felt.

00:19:18.000 So it was really an awesome sort of trip down memory lane from so many of these people.

00:19:24.000 Again, like people that we used to have dinner with that magically became the staunch voices against Trump and yada yada yada.

00:19:32.000 And it's just a lot of fun.

00:19:34.000 I think people will really appreciate it.

00:19:36.000 I was looking through the stuff and I said, oh my God, we have to put this together just so people understand just how warped our society is if you do anything even remotely conservative.

00:19:48.000 I think people will really like it.

00:19:49.000 So tell us some of the examples.

00:19:50.000 I mean, it's amazing because it shows, it's also kind of a history book in some sense, right?

00:19:56.000 Because you could see American history, the great icons, great figures that write these unbelievable letters to Trump.

00:20:01.000 And it's funny, Don, people don't really write letters anymore, right?

00:20:04.000 So this shows how it's a lost art.

00:20:06.000 You see that.

00:20:06.000 I mean, you know, I know my father's really good about that.

00:20:08.000 You've seen that, frankly, in the last week with some of the endorsements that he's received where people are like, well, you know, something really tragic happened to my family.

00:20:15.000 Trump was the first guy, you know, by letter, by phone, by this.

00:20:20.000 You know, he understands people.

00:20:22.000 And so I think, you know, some of this back and forth with some of these people.

00:20:25.000 I mean, you have people, you know, you have obviously John F. Kennedy Jr.

00:20:30.000 You have, you know, I think the interesting one, Alec Baldwin, certainly one of the interesting spokespeople against Trump.

00:20:37.000 You'd love to see what he actually said about Trump before politics were involved.

00:20:42.000 Princess Diana, I mean, the list goes on and on.

00:20:45.000 It's sort of amazing.

00:20:47.000 And what was really cool is that he kept all of these things for all these years.

00:20:52.000 And again, probably if had it not been for politics, it wouldn't be that interesting. 0.97

00:20:56.000 But when you see sort of the visceral negative reaction against Trump, all of these people who literally in writing, either kissing his butt or praising him and all the things that he was doing, it's truly an example of perhaps the finest example of hypocrisy today. 0.93

00:21:14.000 And God knows we've seen a lot of it in the last few years, Charlie. 0.84

00:21:17.000 What one or two letters stand out to you?

00:21:19.000 I mean, without spoiling the whole book, which ones really pop?

00:21:23.000 Yeah, obviously, number one has to be Alec Baldwin, right?

00:21:27.000 Because just the way it went from being like a sort of funny parody of Trump to just as vicious as it gets, everything there. 0.92

00:21:35.000 And this guy who's been obviously flagrantly racist on camera, beating up paparazzi, calling his daughter a pig, all these things, still ends up being portrayed as this holier than thou character because he's knocking Donald Trump, but watching him send a very letters to Trump, literally, kissing his butt and thanking him for his generosity and his kindness. 0.87

00:22:02.000 And it's just amazing to see. 0.91

00:22:07.000 So it's an important book.

00:22:08.000 Everyone should check it out.

00:22:09.000 Letters to Trump, an inside look.

00:22:12.000 It really is an American history book.

00:22:14.000 It's selling very, very well.

00:22:15.000 In fact, it's number one on Amazon right now.

00:22:18.000 The book is Letters to Trump.

00:22:20.000 I got a preview copy and I've seen, I mean, it's just amazing.

00:22:24.000 It's every major American icon.

00:22:26.000 And it's clue, I mean, Oprah, all these people.

00:22:28.000 We love you, Donald.

00:22:29.000 You're so great.

00:22:30.000 Like, thank you for everything.

00:22:32.000 Yeah.

00:22:32.000 I mean, there's some of those big celebrities that came, we should run for office together on the ticket one day.

00:22:38.000 Oh, yeah.

00:22:40.000 That changed rapidly.

00:22:42.000 And you read these letters.

00:22:43.000 I think people will truly appreciate it.

00:22:44.000 Well, and also, I think for those people that, if you don't like Trump out there, and you read this book, you get a really amazing picture of a full life.

00:22:54.000 I mean, this is a guy in arts, entertainment, media, politics, sports.

00:22:58.000 I mean, every, not just a list, but like the triple A-list celebrities writing these long letters.

00:23:04.000 I enjoyed our time at Mar-a-Lago and all this different sort of stuff.

00:23:07.000 So I think it's important that people check it out.

00:23:09.000 Very entertaining, and it makes a great, great gift and coffee table book, Letters to Trump.

00:23:14.000 So, Don, a lot happening here.

00:23:16.000 Don Lamont out now is out at CNN.

00:23:18.000 Let's get your reaction on that, Don.

00:23:19.000 The Don Lamont.

00:23:22.000 Listen, I can't quite understand the Fox decision, and yet I totally understand the CNN decision, given just the lunacy of that.

00:23:29.000 But who knows?

00:23:30.000 Maybe, you know, maybe he's going to replace Tucker Carlson in the eight o'clock hour on Fox, given the direction I've seen some of these things going.

00:23:39.000 At least that one makes sense.

00:23:42.000 The guy, you know, everything's racist, except for when he says things that are flagrantly racist, when he's a sexist, when he's a misogynist, when he's a, that's, it's totally okay.

00:23:50.000 You're not allowed to disagree with him because he checks, I guess, a couple of boxes in today's woke culture.

00:23:58.000 And, you know, the fact that that doesn't fly at CNN is surprising a little bit.

00:24:01.000 I guess this has probably been a long time coming or should have happened likely years ago, but at least they're getting this one right for someone who's just led the charge on the leftist lunacy and hypocrisy.

00:24:14.000 For someone who just only cares about attention, it's quite something that he's canned on the same day as Tucker Carlson.

00:24:20.000 He's like, I can't even own this day as a victim.

00:24:23.000 By the way, 100%, you know, he's actually pissed off.

00:24:26.000 100%. 0.98

00:24:28.000 He's like, it's family because literally no one gives a crap that Don Lemon was fired. 0.97

00:24:34.000 The market camp of CNN's parent company has probably gone nowhere south. 0.97

00:24:39.000 They certainly hasn't lost a billion dollars.

00:24:41.000 The price has gone up.

00:24:43.000 Nothing like that.

00:24:43.000 And yes, he'll probably turn that somehow into a racist issue as well.

00:24:48.000 Just give it time.

00:24:49.000 That's how he's going to come out of this hole.

00:24:52.000 I think that's well said.

00:24:53.000 So in closing here, Don, the 2020 rate, the 2024 race is continuing to heat up.

00:24:58.000 Seems like DJT is more ahead in the polls than ever before.

00:25:04.000 What is your take on how things are going?

00:25:05.000 It seems like almost like the primary is over before it's even started.

00:25:09.000 Well, listen, you know, Charlie, yes, it feels that way.

00:25:12.000 And it certainly feels that way when you get out amongst the people.

00:25:15.000 I think the problem that you face with some of that is that the billionaire donor class is still very much wanting someone other than Trump because they want a president that asks how high when they say to jump.

00:25:28.000 They want a president that has to take their calls.

00:25:31.000 You can be America first as long as you're not getting in the way of us making an extra half a cent on our widget. 0.86

00:25:37.000 So that's what's going to keep that primary alive.

00:25:41.000 It's going to be a real fight because it's going to be like we saw last week with Ken Griffin, who donated half a billion dollars to Harvard with no restrictions.

00:25:51.000 This is supposed to be a leader in the conservative movement.

00:25:54.000 He's funding the woke ideologies that are destroying our country without restrictions.

00:25:59.000 And those are going to be the guys that are going to be the primary funders of my father's opposition, whether it's DeSantis or otherwise.

00:26:05.000 And again, it's because they want that power back.

00:26:08.000 They want that control back of their politicians that they lost under the Trump era.

00:26:13.000 They thought they could have it.

00:26:14.000 They wanted it desperately.

00:26:16.000 And when they didn't get it, and instead you saw policies that were designed to actually help real Americans, I understand that's shocking.

00:26:23.000 That's shocking in American politics today, but we saw the results with our own eyes, whether it was real wage growth, whether it was energy independence, whether it was job opportunities, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

00:26:35.000 They kind of like that, but if it wasn't good for them and their ability to make an extra billion dollars themselves rather than putting food and allowing the hardworking Americans to live their American dream, they don't want it that badly.

00:26:47.000 So it feels like it should be over.

00:26:49.000 You see the endorsements coming out of the Florida delegation, especially people who know the person that many would consider the primary competition when the vast majority of the Florida delegation that knows this individual really well is like, yep, we're with Trump 100%.

00:27:04.000 I think that tells you everything you need to know.

00:27:06.000 But don't kid yourself, a few hundred million dollars by the billionaire donor class spent on TV that you're seeing, it can still make a difference.

00:27:14.000 So I never considered it over until it's actually over.

00:27:17.000 Check out Don's show on Rumble.

00:27:18.000 Also, reminder, Letters to Trump is the latest book and it is terrific.

00:27:23.000 I highly recommend it.

00:27:24.000 Don, thanks so much.

00:27:25.000 Thanks a lot, Charlie.

00:27:26.000 Talking to you.

00:27:30.000 Look, are you concerned about the American K-12 education system?

00:27:34.000 Are you worried about what your children and your grandchildren are learning or honestly not learning in school?

00:27:39.000 If you answer yes, my friends at Hillsdale College have a free resource for you.

00:27:42.000 Hillsdale College understands the importance of education to the future of our country.

00:27:46.000 They're now offering 10 free print copies of their recent issue of In Primus.

00:27:53.000 It's titled Education as a Battleground, written by Hillsdale College President Larry P. Arne.

00:27:58.000 The special issue provides a factual account of the issues in the ongoing battle over education, explaining why parents and teachers, not unelected bureaucrats or activists, should guide what our children are learning.

00:28:36.000 So check it out right now at charlie4hillsdale.com.

00:28:42.000 Let me read you a text from an unnamed host on Fox News that you would all know, but I'm not going to say his name.

00:28:49.000 He sent me a text.

00:28:50.000 Dude, nobody has any idea what is going on right now.

00:28:53.000 It's a direct quote from somebody you would recognize.

00:28:57.000 Email is freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:29:00.000 There needs to be a filling of this void.

00:29:02.000 Media is changing as we know it, and that's a very positive thing.

00:29:06.000 But we got to fill the void.

00:29:08.000 Real America's voice is so important, everybody.

00:29:10.000 You guys got to download the Real America's Voice app.

00:29:12.000 We're on RAV right now.

00:29:14.000 You got to download our podcast.

00:29:16.000 It's so important.

00:29:17.000 Alternative media is ascendant.

00:29:19.000 Regime media is collapsing in front of your eyes.

00:29:21.000 Market caps are going under.

00:29:24.000 You guys saw BuzzFeed last week.

00:29:25.000 BuzzFeed News is gone.

00:29:26.000 There's so many changes happening.

00:29:28.000 It's happening at such a rapid pace.

00:29:29.000 It's really something.

00:29:31.000 And they targeted Tucker.

00:29:35.000 They did everything they possibly could to get rid of him.

00:29:38.000 He'll be fine.

00:29:40.000 I don't know how Fox will be.

00:29:42.000 We'll see.

00:29:43.000 Got another text from an insider.

00:29:46.000 Basically, this is a shock to the system.

00:29:48.000 No one was expecting this.

00:29:49.000 Total disarray.

00:29:51.000 Okay, that's what we're hearing.

00:29:53.000 That's what my sources are saying.

00:29:55.000 Remember, and we played this with Darren Beattie.

00:29:57.000 I just want to remind you, though, that Chuck Schumer said, anybody that crosses the intel agencies, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.

00:30:08.000 Chuck Schumer said that.

00:30:10.000 And Tucker Carlson was waging war on the Intel agencies time and time again.

00:30:14.000 Robert Kennedy Jr. has a theory.

00:30:17.000 He says this.

00:30:18.000 He says, Fox fires Tucker Carlson five days after he crosses the red line by acknowledging the TV networks pushing a deadly and ineffective vaccine to please their pharma advertisers.

00:30:28.000 Carlson's breathtakingly courageous April 19th monologue broke TV's two biggest rules.

00:30:34.000 Tucker told the truth about how greedy pharma advertisers controlled TV news network, and he lambasted newscasters for promoting jabs they knew were lethal and worthless.

00:30:43.000 For many years, Tucker has had the nation's biggest audience, averaging 3.5 million, 10 times the size of CNN.

00:30:49.000 Fox just demonstrated the terrifying power of big pharma.

00:30:52.000 That is Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who just tweeted that out.

00:30:55.000 We're seeing the landscape change.

00:30:58.000 And, you know, I got a text message from one of the friends here.

00:31:01.000 Charlie, they're coming for you next.

00:31:02.000 They've already been coming for us.

00:31:03.000 We know that.

00:31:04.000 But you know what gives me comfort?

00:31:05.000 First of all, my faith.

00:31:07.000 Second of all, you guys, the audience.

00:31:10.000 Now's the time to keep supporting the fighters, everybody, and you guys supporting this program.

00:31:14.000 You guys praying for us.

00:31:15.000 It means the world.

00:31:16.000 Supporting our freedom fighters at Turning Point USA.

00:31:19.000 Turning Point USA is by far the most attacked organization in America.

00:31:22.000 That's only going to increase.

00:31:25.000 We are on the razor's edge of totalitarianism, and they're taking off truth teller.

00:31:29.000 They're taking out truth teller by truth teller by truth teller by truth teller.

00:31:32.000 James O'Keeffe.

00:31:35.000 They try to take out Rudy Giuliani, try to take out Steve Mann and try to take out Dinesh D'Souza.

00:31:41.000 It's a pattern.

00:31:44.000 Trying to see if I can read this on air.

00:31:48.000 Oh, yeah.

00:31:49.000 Glenn Greenwald said: the removal of Tucker means the elimination of the only real sustained dissent on U.S. militarism, the U.S. security state.

00:31:59.000 Right now, trending on Twitter, number one trend is Tucker.

00:32:03.000 Number three is Newsmax.

00:32:06.000 And then Rumble is up there somewhere.

00:32:09.000 Happening across the board.

00:32:15.000 Your thoughts are pretty focused here.

00:32:18.000 Freedom at CharlieKirk.com.

00:32:19.000 A lot of people, at least a couple hundred emails, I don't know how widespread this sentiment is.

00:32:23.000 Said they've deleted the Fox app.

00:32:24.000 They've canceled their Fox Nation subscription and they're no longer going to be watching Fox News.

00:32:28.000 We'll see.

00:32:29.000 I'm not encouraging that.

00:32:30.000 I'm not telling you that's a good idea.

00:32:32.000 I think I'm torn because I don't, obviously, I don't like some of their behavior recently.

00:32:36.000 I'm torn for two reasons.

00:32:38.000 They have been good to me in Turning Point USA, and they continue to be, so I appreciate that, and I'm grateful.

00:32:42.000 But number two, you have an I want the network in 120 million homes to be conservative.

00:32:50.000 I want the network that's in 120 million homes to keep holding the line, and Tucker was doing that.

00:32:56.000 And Jesse Waters, I think, does a great job.

00:32:57.000 I think Judge Shanine does a great job.

00:32:59.000 I think Greg Gutfeld does a great job.

00:33:00.000 I think Laura Ingram does a great job.

00:33:01.000 I think Brian Kilmey does a great job.

00:33:03.000 There are some really, really good people in that network and still.

00:33:05.000 And I'm cheering for them.

00:33:08.000 I'm going to read a tweet here.

00:33:11.000 Well, Tucker senior producer Justin Wells is out at Fox News.

00:33:15.000 And according to Max Taney, I think he writes for The Daily Beast, if I'm not mistaken, or semaphore now, the lawyer for Abby Grossberg, a former producer who made allegations of sexism and harassment on Tucker's show, says they, quote, have no comment on Tucker and his executive producer's departure from Fox other than that, quote, timing is a matter of physics, as such is undeniable.

00:33:40.000 Not really sure what to make of that, to be honest.

00:33:42.000 That's a strange, that's a strange way to word it.

00:33:46.000 Remember, they let Laura Trump go from Fox, Dan Bongino, and now Tucker Carlson.

00:33:52.000 So we're searching for answers.

00:33:53.000 This seems a little bit of a clue, a little bit of a nugget.

00:33:56.000 Love Maria Bradaromo, too.

00:33:58.000 There's still some great people at Fox.

00:34:00.000 I am.

00:34:01.000 It does not, the trajectory is not looking good, but I'm cheering.

00:34:04.000 I'm cheering that Fox can regain its conservative roots.

00:34:08.000 This is a shock, shock to the system.

00:34:11.000 We're all going to have to step up, including this program.

00:34:13.000 God bless you guys.
