00:01:34.000 It is a blizzard of news this week.
00:01:37.000 There's so much going on for the better.
00:01:39.000 This is why we elected President Donald Trump.
00:01:42.000 What you are about to witness in the next couple days, what we saw these last couple days, is exactly why we put the man back into the arena.
00:01:49.000 As Teddy Roosevelt famously said, it's the man in the arena that counts.
00:01:53.000 And President Trump is proving the contrast between...
00:01:58.000 An administrative state-managed president that moves slow and is bureaucratic and is subservient to the expert class, like we saw under Joe Biden.
00:02:08.000 And a president that has agility, vim, vigor, tenacity, focus, and yes, stamina.
00:02:16.000 We are seeing a massive change in the geopolitical order for the better.
00:02:22.000 And let's recap.
00:02:23.000 One of the major news stories over the weekend, and the media was trying to build a problem, but of course they don't give President Trump any credit for the solution.
00:02:32.000 Of course, we covered this briefly last week, and that is, in a part of the world that most Americans could not pinpoint on a map, there very well could have been, low likelihood, but could have been, a nuclear war.
00:02:45.000 Two nuclear powers were getting closer and closer to a very bloody war after hundreds and hundreds of years, nearly thousands of years, of pent-up conflict between the two nations, India and Pakistan.
00:02:58.000 India and Pakistan were barreling towards a war.
00:03:01.000 The media was talking all about it.
00:03:03.000 They were saying, hey, this could be a nuclear war.
00:03:04.000 We could have a nuclear Armageddon.
00:03:07.000 India has nuclear weapons.
00:03:09.000 Pakistan has nuclear weapons.
00:03:10.000 Fighter jets were being shot down.
00:03:12.000 This was serious stuff on Friday evening.
00:03:14.000 And boom, right into the arena, President Trump and J.D. Vance broker a peace settlement.
00:03:20.000 Now, if on Friday you were talking about how a major war was looming in the Kashmir region, but on Sunday you were not giving President Trump for ending the war, you are the problem.
00:03:33.000 President Trump helped broker a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, and again, might have saved hundreds of thousands of lives.
00:03:42.000 Imagine...
00:03:43.000 Putin invading Ukraine under President Trump.
00:03:46.000 Joe Biden would have armed India.
00:03:48.000 Joe Biden would have said, well, there's really nothing we could do.
00:03:50.000 We're going to move very slow.
00:03:51.000 We're going to be very methodical about it.
00:03:53.000 And hundreds of thousands of people could have unnecessarily died.
00:03:56.000 Play cut 188.
00:03:58.000 And they did it for a lot of reasons, but trade is a big one.
00:04:03.000 We're going to do a lot of trade with Pakistan.
00:04:06.000 We're going to do a lot of trade with India.
00:04:08.000 We're negotiating with India right now.
00:04:09.000 We're going to be soon negotiating with Pakistan.
00:04:12.000 And we stopped the nuclear conflict.
00:04:14.000 I think it could have been a bad nuclear war.
00:04:18.000 Millions of people could have been killed.
00:04:19.000 So I'm very proud of that.
00:04:21.000 I also want to thank...
00:04:22.000 In a minor detail, we solved a major war between two nations that bitterly hate each other with fighter jets being shot down and military bases that were striked.
00:04:32.000 Just kind of minor details.
00:04:33.000 We solved that.
00:04:35.000 And then he moved on, of course, to a major announcement.
00:04:37.000 So we solve a nuclear war on Sunday.
00:04:40.000 On Saturday, Sunday, and then on Monday, major announcement today.
00:04:43.000 President Donald Trump reaching a sudden surprise tariff truce with China.
00:04:48.000 90-day pause that brings tariffs down to 30% from nearly 150%.
00:04:54.000 President Trump is structuring a phenomenal America First winning trade deal, all the while juggling the 900 different other portfolio issues.
00:05:06.000 President Donald Trump is about to head to the Middle East tomorrow.
00:05:10.000 On Air Force One, he will fly to the Middle East.
00:05:13.000 He's going to go to Saudi Arabia.
00:05:14.000 He's going to go to Qatar.
00:05:15.000 I think he's going to the UAE.
00:05:16.000 He's doing all the major Arab powers, which increasingly is a power center on the planet.
00:05:23.000 And while President Trump is doing that, he says, hey, Putin and Zelensky, in case you guys want to meet, I can easily take a detour from Riyadh and go up to Istanbul.
00:05:33.000 I mean, think about this.
00:05:34.000 This is the way an entrepreneur thinks.
00:05:37.000 Yeah, look, if I need a detour and reroute, yeah, the Secret Service, they'll figure it out.
00:05:41.000 I'll go to Istanbul and I'll meet with you guys.
00:05:44.000 You understand how unique this is?
00:05:46.000 Typically, when U.S. foreign policy is done, those sort of summits are months in the making, maybe even years in the making.
00:05:54.000 To sit down with the leader of Russia and the head of Ukraine to meet face-to-face, and President Donald Trump, in a moment's notice, sends out a true social, yeah, I'll just swing on by.
00:06:03.000 I'll play dad.
00:06:04.000 I will negotiate.
00:06:05.000 I will facilitate.
00:06:07.000 I will referee this conversation.
00:06:08.000 And I'll say, nope, you're lying.
00:06:10.000 Nope, you're lying.
00:06:11.000 Come on, Zelensky, do this.
00:06:12.000 Vlad, take the deal.
00:06:15.000 And I'll just do that in between of brokering Middle East peace as well.
00:06:19.000 And oh, by the way, today Hamas has released the last American Israeli hostage.
00:06:25.000 That's right.
00:06:25.000 There was still an American being held hostage by Hamas.
00:06:29.000 Released by Hamas as President Trump has come to the Middle East.
00:06:32.000 And that is no coincidence, by the way.
00:06:34.000 It's no coincidence.
00:06:35.000 President Trump coming to the Middle East and he's going to Qatar in particular, it would be a very bad look that anybody that has any sort of ties to the Palestinian Authority of Hamas, President Trump would have said, hey, bring our boy home, Eden Alexander, an American citizen and an Israeli passport holder held hostage by Hamas, released by Hamas.
00:06:52.000 So we prevent a nuclear war.
00:06:53.000 We get an American hostage back.
00:06:56.000 We are potentially going to see the Istanbul summit, which by the way, is where the original breakdown of this entire war happened when Tony Blinken and Boris Johnson went to Istanbul and told...
00:07:10.000 The Russian Federation actually, no, we're not going to settle for peace, land for peace.
00:07:14.000 We want to see this war continue.
00:07:15.000 The Russian-Ukrainian war could have ended 10 days in, in Istanbul, and hundreds of thousands of people would still be alive and millions of people would still be in their homes.
00:07:25.000 So the warmongering machine under Washington, D.C. and former President Joe Biden said, no, we're going to reject that deal.
00:07:33.000 So it is...
00:07:34.000 It is beautifully ironic and a point of completion to go back to Istanbul to hopefully end the war.
00:07:41.000 And then we have the China deal, as I've mentioned.
00:07:44.000 On top of that, President Donald Trump revealed a new executive order aimed at slashing prescription drug prices by ordering the federal government to seek to pay no more than other countries do for their drugs.
00:07:56.000 And then...
00:07:57.000 As President Trump has come to the Middle East, he says, I want to try to have an expansion of the Abrahamic Accords and bring peace to the Middle East.
00:08:03.000 I'm sorry, everybody.
00:08:04.000 That three days, you got more done in those three days than anything I could think of for the betterment of the world under George W. Bush, Barack Obama, or Joe Biden.
00:08:13.000 Preventing a nuclear war, facilitating Zelensky and Putin.
00:08:17.000 Getting a hostage released, signing an executive order on prescription drugs.
00:08:21.000 All the while, by the way, our southern border is totally secure.
00:08:24.000 We're getting no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security.
00:08:28.000 Major middle class tax cut.
00:08:30.000 And despite what the left says, President Trump actually might raise taxes on the wealthy, something that, look, I kind of shrug my shoulders.
00:08:36.000 I say, if I pay more taxes, but I get less debts or deficits, fine, so be it.
00:08:40.000 Doing a monster deal with one big, beautiful bill.
00:08:44.000 Deregulation.
00:08:44.000 Oil prices are down.
00:08:46.000 Egg prices are down.
00:08:47.000 Inflation is going down.
00:08:48.000 The market, by the way, is up nearly 1,000 points today.
00:08:51.000 And you pause and you say, who's criticizing President Trump again?
00:08:55.000 This is why we got him elected.
00:08:57.000 For this reason.
00:08:59.000 The energy that it takes.
00:09:01.000 This week is going to be a masterclass, and we will be here in studio following every single element of this.
00:09:07.000 This is Trump at his best.
00:09:09.000 When Trump is playing offense, when Trump is thinking creatively, when Trump is doing deal after deal after deal, when Trump is in the arena, honestly, I've always said for a while, Trump is better when he travels than when he stays put.
00:09:21.000 When he travels, his mind is going.
00:09:23.000 It's a life force for him.
00:09:25.000 When he is seeing people, meeting people, He leans into the situation.
00:09:32.000 Some people do better when they're just kind of cooped up in their office.
00:09:35.000 Some people do better when they're doing desk work.
00:09:37.000 President Trump takes it into another gear.
00:09:40.000 And as someone who travels a lot, I get that.
00:09:43.000 When you're traveling, there's a velocity, there's a momentum.
00:09:46.000 And this is how deals get done.
00:09:47.000 And just to think, could you imagine the people at the CIA and the deep state saying, what do you mean you're just going to detour and go to Istanbul?
00:09:56.000 That's right.
00:09:56.000 That's how peace is brokered.
00:09:57.000 And could you imagine when the history books are written if President Trump ends up detouring Istanbul?
00:10:01.000 There is no, like, pre-meeting conditions.
00:10:05.000 There is no kind of like, well, we have to make sure that all these little details are out, just kind of swing and pop on by.
00:10:11.000 This is Trump at his best.
00:10:13.000 By the way, he's about to have a phone call with Xi Jinping as well.
00:10:16.000 All of this simultaneously.
00:10:17.000 It is fair to say President Trump is running the world and running the world for the better.
00:10:21.000 Less war.
00:10:22.000 More lives saved.
00:10:23.000 Better trade deals.
00:10:24.000 American workers first.
00:10:25.000 The invasion is over on our southern border.
00:10:27.000 And that's only in a couple hours, everybody.
00:10:30.000 And it's only going to get better.
00:10:33.000 We're honored to be partnering with the Alan Jackson Ministries, and today I want to point you to their podcast.
00:10:38.000 It's called Culture and Christianity, the Alan Jackson Podcast.
00:10:42.000 What makes it unique is Pastor Alan's biblical perspective.
00:10:45.000 He takes the truth from the Bible and applies it to issues that we're facing today.
00:10:49.000 Gender confusion, abortion, immigration, Doge, Trump, and the White House.
00:10:52.000 Issues in the church.
00:10:54.000 He doesn't just discuss the problems.
00:10:56.000 In every episode, he gives practical things we can do to make a difference.
00:11:00.000 His guests have incredible expertise and powerful testimonies.
00:11:03.000 Each episode will make you recognize the power of your faith and how God can use your life to impact our world today.
00:11:10.000 The culture of the world.
00:11:10.000 You can find it on YouTube, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.
00:11:17.000 Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss any episodes.
00:11:20.000 Alan Jackson Ministries is working hard to get biblical truth back into our culture.
00:11:24.000 You can find out more about Pastor Alan and the ministry at alanjackson.com.
00:11:28.000 That is alanjackson.com.
00:11:30.000 Again, that is alanjackson.com.
00:11:34.000 The criticism of President Trump obviously continues, but if you look objectively at just the last couple of days, preventing a war between India and Pakistan, And the previous administration or Barack Obama, they would have either been too slow to move or not cared enough or had the talent or the skill to broker that.
00:11:58.000 Now, understand, J.D. Vance was very involved in this.
00:12:00.000 Now, why is that important?
00:12:01.000 J.D. Vance just came from India.
00:12:03.000 J.D. Vance just came from India.
00:12:05.000 He visited there with his wife Usha, and they were treated very well, strengthening that bond.
00:12:09.000 By the way, we should be very, very close with India.
00:12:11.000 We should be very close.
00:12:13.000 India has some serious problems when it comes to its treatment of Christians, but India is a...
00:12:18.000 Not so subtle counter to the Chinese Communist Party.
00:12:21.000 A ton of people.
00:12:22.000 There's still some semblance of a democracy there, despite some of the more radical, nationalistic Hindu stuff, which is not exactly our flavor of governance here.
00:12:32.000 But India is a country of the future.
00:12:35.000 If they can get their act together and they can get 600 million people out of third world poverty, that country is going to be something to be reckoned with.
00:12:41.000 They are nowhere near as totalitarian as the Chinese Communist Party.
00:12:45.000 And so we call India, and by the way, we've always had a very weird relationship with Pakistan as well.
00:12:51.000 Pakistan is the ISI.
00:12:52.000 We kind of, they're a frenemy.
00:12:53.000 We work with them.
00:12:54.000 We don't.
00:12:54.000 Remember, they housed Bin Laden.
00:12:56.000 The whole thing was very bizarre.
00:12:57.000 And let's just be honest, with this whole conflict, Pakistan was far more to blame than India.
00:13:02.000 Pakistan is resolutely Muslim.
00:13:04.000 India is Hindu.
00:13:06.000 And we got involved and we ended what could have been a thermonuclear war.
00:13:10.000 We didn't have to do it with fighter jets.
00:13:12.000 We didn't have to spend javelin missiles.
00:13:14.000 We didn't have to do troops.
00:13:15.000 It was a phone call.
00:13:16.000 And that is what diplomacy of a strong America looks like.
00:13:18.000 And no one will give President Trump credit.
00:13:21.000 If it wasn't for President Trump's tariffs, you have to wonder if India would have brokered peace that quickly.
00:13:27.000 India wanted to make sure those tariffs were going to be lifted on their exports.
00:13:32.000 So there's a high leverage, high incentive for India to do what the United States want.
00:13:39.000 And they say, well, they bombed this and they bombed that.
00:13:41.000 I cut it out.
00:13:42.000 Enough.
00:13:43.000 We know you hate each other.
00:13:44.000 You guys can high-step and do your thing at the border.
00:13:48.000 Remember Barack Obama got the Nobel Peace Prize for breathing?
00:13:51.000 He went, I got the Nobel Peace Prize.
00:13:56.000 Shortly after he came into office.
00:13:59.000 President Trump should get the Nobel Peace Prize based on that standard.
00:14:01.000 And if he ends the Russian-Ukrainian war, that will be a...
00:14:05.000 Non-joke.
00:14:06.000 That will be something that he absolutely deserves.
00:14:09.000 And then Barack Obama got the Nobel Peace Prize and went on to expand the Afghan war, drone like crazy the Middle East, and oversee the displacement of Muammar Gaddafi in Libya and also the Syrian civil war.
00:14:20.000 That is the president of peace.
00:14:23.000 President Donald Trump is a non-ideological actor on the world stage.
00:14:28.000 He does not like to see human suffering.
00:14:31.000 You can see it's like a recurring theme when he talks.
00:14:34.000 Every single time Russia-Ukraine comes up and he says this stupid bloodbath where hundreds of thousands of people are dying unnecessarily.
00:14:41.000 And that is exactly right.
00:14:43.000 That is the missing moral clarity that our politicians have not been saying.
00:14:48.000 Instead, they're so interested in abstractions.
00:14:50.000 Well, this is a fight between totalitarianism and democracy.
00:14:53.000 No, it's not.
00:14:54.000 This is a turf war over who's going to control that 100 miles or that 100 miles.
00:15:00.000 President Donald Trump, despite all of his critics and all of the attacks against him, is far more of a true and genuine humanitarian when it comes to brokering peace than anybody we've seen.
00:15:11.000 And this is also the element of his Middle East visit.
00:15:14.000 President Donald Trump going to the Middle East also does not want a war with Iran.
00:15:18.000 So he doesn't want a war with Iran.
00:15:20.000 He doesn't want the Indian-Pakistan war.
00:15:22.000 He doesn't want the Russian-Ukrainian war.
00:15:25.000 This is the best possible example of a president using American strength for world peace.
00:15:35.000 And then on top of it, we have the China deal.
00:15:37.000 That is going to be so much better for our country than what we had previously.
00:15:41.000 And we have not even seen the Vietnam deal.
00:15:42.000 We haven't seen the Japanese deal.
00:15:44.000 We haven't seen the South Korean deal.
00:15:46.000 These things are going to be lined up like planes at LaGuardia on a Friday night.
00:15:50.000 Boom, boom, boom, boom.
00:15:52.000 One after the other.
00:15:54.000 Not to mention stopping the flow of fentanyl in this country.
00:15:57.000 And I have to remind you, no one is crossing the southern border.
00:16:00.000 It is down 99.99%.
00:16:02.000 Border Patrol agents are bored.
00:16:04.000 They're playing Tetris and Minecraft on their phone.
00:16:08.000 They got nothing to do.
00:16:10.000 Previously, they were the Expedia.com of the third world.
00:16:13.000 Oh, where would you like to go, Diego?
00:16:16.000 Where would you like to go, Jesus?
00:16:18.000 Oh, you'd like to go to Detroit?
00:16:20.000 Great, let me book you that flight.
00:16:21.000 They were making baby formula for the third world that was coming across the southern border.
00:16:27.000 They were the concierge service.
00:16:29.000 Now Border Patrol is like, well, what are we going to do?
00:16:32.000 And deportations are going to go up.
00:16:34.000 You're on the precipice of seeing the convergence.
00:16:37.000 Of all of these pent-up campaign promises, we're going to see major Supreme Court victories coming up, hopefully on school choice, religious liberty, and religious charter schools, and I pray on men and female sports.

00:18:57.000 Joining us now is Senator Rick Scott from the wonderful state of Florida.
00:19:01.000 He's doing a great job.
00:19:02.000 Senator, great to see you.
00:19:04.000 I first want to just get your comment here on President Trump and J.D. Vance working over the weekend burning the midnight oil to end a potential nuclear war between India and Pakistan.
00:19:16.000 Your thoughts, Senator?
00:19:17.000 Well, if there's one person, look at all the things Trump, I mean, look at just the last three days with him.
00:19:23.000 What the president's done.
00:19:24.000 If there's one person that can bring peace around the world is President Trump.
00:19:28.000 He did it his first term.
00:19:30.000 He's focused on stopping the Ukraine war, having peace in the Middle East.
00:19:34.000 He's going to the Middle East, making sure India and Pakistan.
00:19:37.000 So here's a guy that he wants peace around the world.
00:19:40.000 He's tired of all these forever wars and people dying that don't need to die.
00:19:45.000 So I'm very appreciative of what the president's doing, what the vice president's doing, what Secretary of State Marco Rubio is doing.
00:19:51.000 So now to other geopolitical news.
00:19:53.000 I know that you stand with Israel and against Hamas.
00:19:58.000 We are getting another hostage back, an American-Israeli hostage, Eden Alexander.
00:20:02.000 Your thoughts, Senator?
00:20:03.000 Well, thank God.
00:20:04.000 I mean, first off, we need to stand with Israel.
00:20:06.000 We need to fight this anti-Semitism.
00:20:08.000 We need to understand Hamas is a terrorist organization and can never be trusted.
00:20:14.000 We have to hold Hamas accountable.
00:20:17.000 The Hooties, Hezbollah, we have to hold Qatar accountable for supporting Hamas.
00:20:22.000 So we've got a lot of work to do, but President Trump is the right person for the job, and so is Marco Rubio.
00:20:28.000 They're all of them.
00:20:29.000 Vice President Vance are all working hard to bring peace.
00:20:32.000 Yeah, Marco really is doing a great job.
00:20:34.000 I'm glad you mentioned that.
00:20:35.000 He's been exceptional.
00:20:36.000 Can you comment on that?
00:20:37.000 This guy has more jobs than even Elon Musk.
00:20:40.000 He's running the NSC, he's running State Department, he's running USAID.
00:20:43.000 Some people said he was in running to become the Pope, all kidding aside.
00:20:47.000 Senator, he's also the National Archivist.
00:20:49.000 I got to say, Marco Rubio has been the sleeper surprise all-star of this administration.
00:20:54.000 I give him an A, Senator.
00:20:57.000 You know, I agree with you.
00:20:58.000 A plus.
00:20:59.000 I mean, here's a guy.
00:20:59.000 He shows up every day.
00:21:00.000 He's from a wonderful family.
00:21:02.000 We got elected together.
00:21:03.000 He got elected as U.S. Senator.
00:21:04.000 I got elected as Governor back in 2010.
00:21:06.000 He's been a great partner.
00:21:08.000 I was so excited when he got announced as Secretary of State, and he's doing a great job.
00:21:13.000 He shows up every day.
00:21:14.000 He works hard every day.
00:21:15.000 I talked to him the other day.
00:21:16.000 He says, I am busy.
00:21:18.000 And he is busy with all the things he's trying to do.
00:21:21.000 Biden left us in a horrible shape as a country.
00:21:24.000 He left the world at a horrible time with all these conflicts around the world.
00:21:29.000 And the president and vice president and Secretary Rubio are working their tail off trying to bring peace around the world.
00:21:35.000 So, Senator, now I want to ask about China.
00:21:38.000 You have been very good about the threat of the Chinese Communist Party.
00:21:41.000 Looks as if we are closer to a trade deal.
00:21:44.000 What do you have to say about that?
00:21:45.000 The market is reacting very favorably.
00:21:47.000 Your thoughts on a prospective trade deal with the Chinese Communist Party?
00:21:51.000 Well, if there's one person that can get a trade deal done, that's Donald Trump.
00:21:55.000 Hope springs eternal.
00:21:57.000 The government of China hates our way of life.
00:22:01.000 Remember, they promised they wouldn't keep selling fentanyl.
00:22:03.000 70,000 people died of fentanyl coming from China last year.
00:22:06.000 They promised in the past, oh, they would stop stealing our technology, things like that.
00:22:11.000 They do it every day.
00:22:12.000 It's a despicable government.
00:22:14.000 So I'm very hopeful.
00:22:16.000 And if one person can do it, it's Donald Trump.
00:22:19.000 Do I believe that in the end China will comply with anything?
00:22:23.000 No.
00:22:23.000 They didn't comply with the Trump trade deal when he was first president.
00:22:27.000 They haven't tried to comply with the most favored nation.
00:22:29.000 They haven't complied with the World Trade Organization.
00:22:32.000 They haven't complied with anything they say they're going to do.
00:22:35.000 They lie, cheat, and steal.
00:22:36.000 We need to decouple from China.
00:22:39.000 Stop buying their stuff.
00:22:41.000 And so what they're saying, though, Senator, is that this won't be a full decoupling.
00:22:46.000 What would you like to see from this administration and what you're doing in the Senate from a domestic policy standpoint?
00:22:52.000 to make the decoupling happen more naturally without force?
00:22:55.000 Well, the best way is every American citizen needs to say, China is not my friend.
00:23:02.000 Stop buying any products, any services, any apps from China.
00:23:07.000 None.
00:23:08.000 Zero.
00:23:08.000 They want to destroy your individual way of life.
00:23:11.000 They might have killed a family member through fentanyl, but they want to steal their jobs.
00:23:15.000 They want to build a military to defeat us.
00:23:17.000 They are despicable.
00:23:18.000 I know the president is trying to...
00:23:21.000 In a logical manner, decouple from China.
00:23:25.000 I think we're going to get there.
00:23:27.000 We shouldn't be buying Chinese stocks.
00:23:29.000 They don't comply with the rules of the SEC.
00:23:31.000 Their financial statements do not follow general accounting principles, general accepted accounting principles.
00:23:37.000 So we have to decouple from them.
00:23:39.000 No drugs, no drones, nothing.
00:23:47.000 So many of the American elites are highly invested in China and they have been configuring American policy as a result of that.
00:23:56.000 How do we fix that problem?
00:23:58.000 Well, here's what I've done.
00:24:00.000 Number one, when I got up there, 85% of the drones bought by a federal government were Chinese.
00:24:04.000 None today.
00:24:05.000 Other technologies like LIDAR.
00:24:07.000 We're still buying drugs from China for our military.
00:24:09.000 That's crazy.
00:24:10.000 So we're starting the process every year.
00:24:13.000 We chip away.
00:24:15.000 We passed legislation that said their Chinese stocks cannot be sold on our exchanges because they don't comply with general executive accounting principles.
00:24:23.000 Now, the Biden administration didn't enforce that.
00:24:25.000 The new SEC commissioner said he will enforce it.
00:24:28.000 So every day we chip away.
00:24:30.000 But the best way to do it, don't rely on government.
00:24:34.000 Rely on yourself.
00:24:35.000 They don't like your way of life.
00:24:37.000 You have to say, Amazon, if you won't tell us where something's made, I won't buy it.
00:24:43.000 And if you get a package that's made from China, send it back and say, I didn't want anything made in China.
00:24:49.000 That's right.
00:24:50.000 Okay, so now let's shift gears here for a second.
00:24:53.000 I want to now talk about, and we've talked about it before, the one big beautiful bill.
00:24:57.000 Any progress or movement since our conversation last week, Senator?
00:25:01.000 Well, in the Senate, we had a great policy meeting on Wednesday to talk about it.
00:25:07.000 I know the House has some committee meetings this week.
00:25:09.000 We'll find out where they are.
00:25:10.000 But let's put this in perspective.
00:25:12.000 All of us want to make sure President Trump can secure the border.
00:25:16.000 All of us want to make sure our military can defend our freedom.
00:25:19.000 All of us that I know of want to make sure we extend the Trump tax cuts.
00:25:23.000 What we're arguing about is, are we going to get our fiscal house in order?
00:25:27.000 We're anticipating spending...
00:25:29.000 Like $85 billion.
00:25:32.000 The $1.5 billion that the House is struggling to come up with is less than 2% increase or saving money when we've had a 53% increase in spending in the last five years.
00:25:43.000 We have got to figure out how to give our fiscal house an order or interest rates are not going to come down.
00:25:50.000 Inflation is not going to go away.
00:25:51.000 We're not going to start paying down this debt.
00:25:53.000 So there's a lot of us in the Senate that are working really hard with this.
00:25:57.000 I'm optimistic, but we're not there yet.
00:25:59.000 This is going to take a few more weeks to come to a good conclusion, but I'm very optimistic we can get there.
00:26:04.000 So, Senator, I said this with Mark Wayne Mullen, and given your enormous financial success, I imagine you're in the same bucket.
00:26:11.000 You know, our show's doing very well.
00:26:13.000 Praise the Lord.
00:26:14.000 We're very happy about that.
00:26:15.000 There is a proposition to raise taxes on higher-income earners, so that would involve you and me and Senator Mullen.
00:26:21.000 I'm not thrilled about it, but honestly, I shrug my shoulders and I say, okay, if this is the only way to, A, make the math work, And B, get the deal done.
00:26:30.000 I could live with it.
00:26:31.000 It's not like a deal breaker.
00:26:32.000 I don't love it.
00:26:34.000 Where do you stand on that?
00:26:35.000 Do you think that the conference...
00:26:37.000 The only way that I'd be okay with it is if we get sizable cuts.
00:26:40.000 That we get $10 of cuts for every $1 of a tax increase.
00:26:44.000 There's a lot of mixed opinions here.
00:26:46.000 Some people say, hey, George H.W. Bush raised taxes.
00:26:49.000 He was ridiculed for that.
00:26:51.000 There's some nuance there that's largely missing.
00:26:54.000 Do you think that we might end up seeing the top tax rate go from 37% to 40%?
00:26:59.000 No.
00:27:00.000 First off, I've never, ever voted for a tax increase.
00:27:04.000 I cut taxes 100 times while I was governor.
00:27:07.000 We need lower taxes, and we'll get more revenues.
00:27:10.000 Now, we don't have a tax.
00:27:12.000 We don't have a revenue problem.
00:27:13.000 We have record revenues.
00:27:15.000 Revenues are up.
00:27:16.000 We have a spending problem.
00:27:19.000 53% increase in spending in five years when the population is up 2%.
00:27:24.000 So we don't need new taxes.
00:27:27.000 We need to figure out how do we balance the budget.
00:27:30.000 Now, I think maybe some people, like somebody texted me this morning, they said, you know, I would be okay if you raise my taxes if you balance a budget.
00:27:38.000 Okay, well, they're not even talking about balance the budget.
00:27:41.000 They're talking about reducing spending.
00:27:43.000 We need to balance the budget.
00:27:45.000 All right?
00:27:46.000 And start paying down debt.
00:27:48.000 That's what I did as governor.
00:27:48.000 I paid off a third of the state debt when I was governor.
00:27:50.000 And guess what?
00:27:51.000 Interest rates kept coming down.
00:27:54.000 We didn't have issues with inflation.
00:27:55.000 That's what we've got to do.
00:27:56.000 So no new tax increases.
00:27:58.000 None.
00:27:59.000 Reduce spending.
00:28:00.000 That's what we have to do.
00:28:01.000 And I hope there is an appetite to reduce spending.
00:28:04.000 I really do.
00:28:05.000 And is there more momentum remaining, Senator, from your colleagues to get at least back to the pre-COVID baseline?
00:28:14.000 Absolutely.
00:28:15.000 There's a lot of conversation about how do we make sure the federal programs work.
00:28:20.000 Take Medicaid.
00:28:21.000 Medicaid should be a program for the poor and the chronically ill.
00:28:26.000 That's what it should be.
00:28:27.000 Not to have people sit on their butt at home that don't want to work.
00:28:31.000 So we have to go through.
00:28:33.000 We have to do what I did as governor.
00:28:34.000 I went through every line of the budget, 4,000 lines of budget, and say, that might be nice to have, but that's somebody's money.
00:28:41.000 I've got to tax somebody to do that.
00:28:42.000 I'm not going to do that.
00:28:43.000 That's what we've got to do with the federal budget.
00:28:45.000 We've got to go through every line and have a written purpose for every line.
00:28:49.000 Look at what Elon Musk has found.
00:28:51.000 Just massive waste.
00:28:53.000 Massive waste.
00:28:54.000 You can say some of it's fraud, but for sure, massive waste of money that you would never spend your money on.
00:29:00.000 Senator, excellent work.
00:29:01.000 Come back anytime.
00:29:02.000 Thank you so much.
00:29:03.000 And keep fighting for those spending cuts.
00:29:05.000 We need them.
00:29:05.000 I say this every week.
00:29:07.000 We demand cuts.
00:29:08.000 We demand cuts.
00:29:10.000 Our government is too big.
00:29:11.000 Thank you, Senator.
00:29:12.000 All right.
00:29:12.000 See you, Charlie.
00:29:12.000 See you, Charlie.
00:29:28.000 That's right, free online courses on subjects like the Book of Genesis, the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, the history of the ancient Christian church.
00:29:36.000 It's hard for me to even say which is my personal favorite.
00:29:39.000 You guys have got to take these online courses.
00:29:41.000 They've recently launched a new course, Understanding Capitalism, that I've been watching.
00:29:46.000 In seven lectures, you'll learn about the role of profit and loss, how human nature plays a part in our economic system, So,
00:30:14.000 So on Friday, a group of radical Democrats showed up to a ICE facility newly opened in Newark, New Jersey.
00:30:22.000 Federal agents arrested Newark Mayor Raz Baraka.
00:30:27.000 Baraka had joined Democrat Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman and LaMonica McIver and Rob Menendez for an oversight visit to inspect the facility's compliance with local building codes.
00:30:39.000 Now, mind you, they never, ever went to an ICE facility.
00:30:43.000 When Joe Biden was president, remember that famous picture of AOC crying?
00:30:46.000 She never did any of that when Joe Biden was president.
00:30:49.000 Let's play some of the piece of tape here.
00:30:51.000 This is cut 144.
00:30:53.000 DHS says, quote, a group of protesters, including two members of Congress, stormed the gate and broke into the ICE detention facility.
00:31:01.000 The members, Robert Menendez Jr. and Bonnie Watson Coleman and multiple protesters are holed up in a guard shack area, the first security checkpoint.
00:31:13.000 Interim U.S. attorney Alina Haba for the District of New Jersey posting on X that Newark's Democrat mayor, Raz Baraka, was there and, quote, committed trespass.
00:31:24.000 This is a very easy one for my friend Kash Patel and Pam Bondi.
00:31:30.000 Very easy.
00:31:31.000 They went after American patriots for peacefully walking into the United States Capitol building.
00:31:37.000 Non-violently, while being invited, while doors were opened, and they stayed within the lanes, the little rope lines.
00:31:45.000 These are members of Congress that stormed into a federal ICE facility despite warnings.
00:31:51.000 They should absolutely be charged for this, without a doubt.
00:31:55.000 No one is above the law, is what we've always been saying.
00:31:57.000 No one is above the law.
00:31:59.000 Playcut 168.
00:32:00.000 There will likely be more arrests coming.
00:32:03.000 We actually have body camera footage of some of these members of Congress assaulting our ICE enforcement officers, including body slamming a female ICE officer.
00:32:15.000 So we will be showing that to viewers very shortly.
00:32:18.000 If you have that video, are you suggesting that members of Congress will be arrested That is definitely on the table.
00:32:24.000 And that's exactly what should happen.
00:32:28.000 You see...
00:32:30.000 The Democrats have a big problem with immigration customs and enforcement.
00:32:33.000 But if you assault ICE, you get consequences.
00:32:36.000 If you storm an ICE facility, there will be consequences.
00:32:40.000 Rob Menendez complained that they had put their hands on a member of Congress.
00:32:45.000 Oh, I must have missed the memo that he was an untouchable.
00:32:49.000 He thinks they should be invulnerable, that he is royalty.
00:32:52.000 And by the way, his dad is literally a traitor.
00:32:55.000 Bob Menendez sold our country out to Egypt for gold bars.
00:32:58.000 While on the Senate Foreign Intelligence Committee, selling out American secrets for cash.
00:33:05.000 And he also had multiple instances of near misses with the law.
00:33:10.000 This guy was a disgusting person.
00:33:12.000 Let's play Cut 197.
00:33:15.000 Just because you are a member of Congress or just because you are a public official does not mean you are above the law.
00:33:21.000 We will continue.
00:33:22.000 If you assault a law enforcement officer, we will also make sure you answer to justice.
00:33:27.000 So I think that arrests are still on the table for this.
00:33:30.000 This Tricia girl is doing well.
00:33:32.000 I think I've met her.
00:33:33.000 I know her.
00:33:34.000 And I think the administration needs to have 10 or 12 people like this at every department be able to go on TV.
00:33:41.000 She's been doing really well.
00:33:43.000 Throw the book at them.
00:33:45.000 Cash and Pam, you got all the details you need.
00:33:47.000 Charge these members of Congress.
00:33:51.000 The facts are there.
00:33:52.000 They stormed the facility.
00:33:53.000 They assaulted our ICE officers.
00:33:56.000 They think they are above the law.
00:33:57.000 They tried to put President Trump in jail for 700 years for something he did not do.
00:34:02.000 They are begging you to indict them.
00:34:04.000 And do it.
00:34:05.000 Don't make a big show of it.
00:34:07.000 Indite them.
00:34:08.000 Charge them.
00:34:09.000 The only way that we end the lawfare chapter in this country is reciprocity.
00:34:15.000 They came after us, they assaulted ICE officers, and we will go after them.
00:34:21.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
