00:00:00.840 Good afternoon and good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Krusty Connect podcast.
00:00:05.160 Today's episode 112. I affectionately call buffoons in the mist. NDP convention coming 0.92
00:00:11.700 up wants to eliminate our military. More tax BS and more social BS coming your way. Stick 0.95
00:00:17.000 around.
00:00:21.680 Hit it, sweetheart. 1.00
00:00:23.900 Because I am hard, you will not like me.
00:00:26.600 Yes, sir.
00:00:30.000 There is no racial bigotry here.
00:00:34.600 There you are always going to work.
00:00:38.100 From Western Canada, this is the Krusty Canuck podcast, a Canadian veteran's point of view
00:00:45.040 on political, social, economic issues and life.
00:00:49.180 Here's Krusty.
00:00:52.280 Mama always said I had a face for radio.
00:00:55.640 That's right, ladies and gentlemen. April 3rd, 2021 in Krusty Canuck podcast.
00:00:59.600 I'm your host, Krusty Canuck.
00:01:02.200 And I'd like to remind you all, listener discretion is advised.
00:01:05.120 This podcast is not meant for children because I use a lot of swear words.
00:01:09.120 So listen to your own accord.
00:01:11.160 If you like and hear what you see, please click like, subscribe and share this around. 0.97
00:01:15.020 Anyway, as I said, buffoons in the mist.
00:01:17.260 NDP party is going to have a virtual conference coming up sometime this month. 0.95
00:01:21.160 I believe April 9th to the 11th. 0.95
00:01:23.320 And as I said in the headline, buffoons in the mist. 0.88
00:01:25.980 The NDP wants to table or wants to debate certain effects and events coming up.
00:01:32.140 So I will leave a link in the description for you, my beautiful listeners, to download and look at on your own accord.
00:01:38.860 Basically, Section 4 of Resolutions of the NDP Convention.
00:01:44.960 What they want to do is they want to, now bear with me, they want to end military spending in Canada.
00:01:51.420 Whereas, whereas Canada has succumbed to U.S. pressure and is planning on expanding military spending by 70%.
00:01:58.620 Whereas, Canada is committed to spending $70 billion on warships and $19 billion on fighter planes.
00:02:04.980 Whereas, the COVID-19 pandemic has exposed decades of underfunding towards social programs resulting in greater inequality.
00:02:13.620 Okay. 0.98
00:02:13.900 Well, as a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces, it's not so much the U.S. pressure that has told Canada to smarten up, you know, shit or get off the pot and start contributing your part to NATO. 0.98
00:02:25.540 It's more or less of the elected officials we put in charge calling the shots. 0.96
00:02:29.240 Now, here's the resolution that the NDP has, okay, heading here.
00:02:34.820 Be it resolved that the NDP supports the U.N. Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, call for a global ceasefire to focus on our struggle to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.
00:02:46.940 Oppose the Liberal government's planned national defense budget increases and call for an immediate freeze on the expansion of military spending.
00:02:55.060 Now, I've seen articles from 2019 where the NDP was quite adamant on funding our troops properly and looking after the welfare of our veterans and making sure that the procurement process was good to go.
00:03:09.080 Now, obviously, based on that, they were just talking points to sound big.
00:03:13.020 All right.
00:03:13.760 Now, I read further.
00:03:15.020 This is page 41 of Section 4 of Resolutions.
00:03:18.540 So, I'll leave a link for you guys to follow on.
00:03:20.880 They also want Canada out of NATO.
00:03:23.920 Okay, so the heading is Canada out of NATO, whereas, whereas the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, NATO, and Canadian forces in Afghanistan engaged in propping up a U.S. puppet government of human rights abusers, drug traffickers, and warlords wasting money and lives to further a Western agenda of geopolitical power and plunder of resources.
00:03:44.000 Okay, that's what they think.
00:03:45.140 And the resolution to that is, therefore, be it resolved that the NDP actively campaigned to get Canada out of NATO, to get NATO out of Afghanistan, to remove the NATO nuclear ring around Russian borders, and to disengage Canadian forces from any support rule for the U.S. and its client regimes around the world.
00:04:03.780 Okay.
00:04:05.080 Okay.
00:04:05.560 I'll get to that shortly here.
00:04:06.820 That was page 42 of Section 4. 0.99
00:04:10.860 And here's the creme de la creme, the icing on the cake, the cherry on top of their fucking socialist paradise. 0.99
00:04:18.400 Okay. 1.00
00:04:20.320 Elimination of Canadian armed forces.
00:04:22.940 Whereas, militaries and war have devastatingly caused negative impacts on civilian populations, including needless deaths, bodily injury, and the loss of housing.
00:04:33.180 Militaries and war are a historic institution with no place in a modern society.
00:04:37.700 In a world with a globalized economy, traditional militaries are becoming increasingly unnecessary.
00:04:44.820 Unnecessary, sorry, my English there.
00:04:46.960 Other countries such as Costa Rica, Iceland, Samoa, and Panama have abolished their armies.
00:04:51.860 Here's the resolution.
00:04:54.580 Be it resolved that, therefore, be it resolved that the NDP government will commit to phasing out the Canadian armed forces.
00:05:02.140 Be it further resolved that all members of the Canadian armed forces will be retrained at the expense of the federal government into civil service roles that help expand Canadian provincial and municipal social services,
00:05:13.460 such as expended health care, education, community service, public transit, and parks.
00:05:18.660 Be it further resolved that all members of the Canadian armed forces continue to receive full salaries and benefits until they assume their new jobs in a civil service.
00:05:27.200 That being said, now, when you look at island states like Costa Rica, Iceland, Samoa, and Panama, they're tiny little nations, okay?
00:05:42.800 And they do have security forces to back them up, whether that's on a call-up situation or whether it's on a reserve element.
00:05:49.780 They're not openly defenseless.
00:05:51.580 So you're wrong, NDP, there.
00:05:55.200 Excuse me.
00:05:56.280 Now, what gets me here is that be it further resolved that all members of the Canadian armed forces will be retrained at the expense of the federal government into civil service roles that help expand Canadian provincial and municipal social services,
00:06:07.680 such as expanded health care, education, community services, public transit, and parks.
00:06:11.720 All right.
00:06:12.140 So we have about 67,000 personnel serving in today's military.
00:06:16.100 That includes Navy.
00:06:17.340 That includes Army.
00:06:18.200 That includes Air Force and the Reserves, not to mention all the top-heavy generals and lieutenant colonels that sit at the top in a DHQ and collect good pension and pay and perks for privileges because they're no longer soldiers or politicians.
00:06:31.260 Now, look at this idea they have here, okay?
00:06:34.680 They want to get more personnel into health care.
00:06:36.680 That's what they're willing to do, okay?
00:06:38.500 So you can get all the military medical personnel into health care, fine.
00:06:42.640 Okay, education, okay.
00:06:45.180 You're going to have to have people with certain degrees and certain backgrounds and qualifications to get them education.
00:06:52.040 Now, do you want them to become more school teachers?
00:06:54.240 Do we need more school teachers?
00:06:55.620 Do we need more professors, especially ex-military professors, especially when it comes to the military dynamic versus the university dynamic right now, okay?
00:07:06.760 Think about that.
00:07:08.500 Community services, public transit, and parks.
00:07:10.400 So there's a lot of qualified drivers in the military, you know, yours being one of them.
00:07:14.120 Yours truly having the qualifications to drive big trucks and move troops around and kit and move ammo and all that good stuff.
00:07:20.160 But my civilian qualification is null and void.
00:07:22.300 I have to retest and retrain under the civilian guidelines now, not in military guidelines.
00:07:27.300 And parks.
00:07:28.080 So let's say you disband the military and you get all these ex-infantry guys becoming park rangers, right?
00:07:36.140 It sounds like a great job, but is that the logic?
00:07:41.600 I don't think this plan has really gone through.
00:07:44.400 I really don't think that these individuals have what it takes to govern this country, especially with these propositions that I just mentioned.
00:07:51.880 Okay.
00:07:52.180 Okay.
00:07:52.980 Now, here's the NDP who has harped on Justin Trudeau on everything that he's done, but he's also backed them up when it comes to pay raises and the so-called budget that's in the works, right?
00:08:05.940 And the C-21 and C-22 resolution.
00:08:09.700 They've also backed up the whole UBI thing that the liberals have just recently tabled.
00:08:13.840 So they want big government to control your lives, right?
00:08:17.620 And they oppose the liberal government plan of national defense budget increases and a call for immediate freeze on the expansion of military spending.
00:08:24.540 Well, they haven't spent too much bloody money on the military thus far, ladies and gentlemen.
00:08:28.580 I'll tell you that right now.
00:08:30.320 They haven't.
00:08:31.700 They haven't even bothered to give that a consideration.
