00:00:00.880 Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. It's a beautiful 29th December 2024.
00:00:06.080 Come up with the Crusting Up Podcast, episode 325, Embarrassing Canada, or better yet, CRA Breaks Law, Mar-a-Lago Fiasco, and more global embarrassments coming to us from our beloved government.
00:00:17.720 What will they think of next? You think Christmas would have smartened these wankers up, but I guess not.
00:00:22.200 So hold on tight, ladies and gentlemen. Here comes another episode of the Crusting Up Podcast. 0.80
00:00:25.740 Listener and viewer discretion is advised, because I will swear, make funny faces, and just make fools of these ridiculous leaders. 0.97
00:00:35.380 All that and more come up with the show. Please stick around. 0.63
00:00:55.740 There you are, all in what we want.
00:01:00.040 From Western Canada, this is the Crusty Canuck Podcast, a Canadian veteran's point of view on political, social, economic issues, and life.
00:01:11.040 Here's Crusty.
00:01:12.100 Greetings, everybody. Welcome to the podcast. I'm your host, Crusty Canuck, and this podcast is brought to you in part by, and supported by, Veterans for Freedom Network.
00:01:22.860 That's right, Stan 2, Veterans for Freedom, and coming soon, Veterans for Freedom TV.
00:01:27.600 All that and more coming up. Hi, everybody. I'm your host, Crusty Canuck.
00:01:30.380 Hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas. I know my Christmas was eventful.
00:01:33.960 Got some pretty cool swagger from my loving wife. Yes, yes, yes, of course. 1.00
00:01:38.000 It always is nice to get some good swagger, right?
00:01:40.160 Exactly, exactly, exactly, right?
00:01:43.920 And I got her some nice presents, too, but I was working, so I get paid time and a half, so extra time coming my way, you know, for bills and everything like that, too.
00:01:52.080 And if you like to hear what you see, please click, like, subscribe, share this content.
00:01:55.500 All you go to social media platforms. Ladies and gentlemen, do not be shy.
00:01:58.220 And please, tell my YouTubers out there, double-check your subscription again, just to make sure, because I have went over my sub list there today, and I've lost another 400-plus subs.
00:02:10.160 So, whether they're bots, whether they're not, or people are getting tired, I don't know.
00:02:14.060 If you don't like my show, that's fine. You don't have to subscribe and all that, too.
00:02:16.780 But since the 21st, in the past eight days, I've lost about 1,000 subs already.
00:02:22.760 So, what's going on, Yankee Tango? What's going on?
00:02:26.260 Let me know what's happening, eh?
00:02:29.700 Is there something I said? Is there something in my teeth? Oh, I don't know. What is it?
00:02:34.000 But anyhow, like the title card says, you know, CR Breaks Law, Mar-a-Lago Fiasco, and more global embarrassments coming from our government.
00:02:42.100 I know, so it's weird, weird things happening after this holiday season.
00:02:46.520 So, I hope you all had a decent Christmas. New Year's is on its way, too.
00:02:49.480 I'll be working throughout New Year's, so I won't be having a little drinky-poo. 0.98
00:02:52.420 I'll just be working my ass off getting things paid off.
00:02:56.500 So, you know, that's the breaks for some of us, ladies and gentlemen.
00:03:00.280 That's the breaks for some of us blue-collar folk.
00:03:02.380 But there's some issues here with the CRA, as the title card says.
00:03:07.820 Canada's Revenue Agency, to my American listeners out there, and to my other world listeners,
00:03:12.040 Canada's Revenue Collecting Service, basically the tax people.
00:03:15.520 Oh, yes, those tax collectors. Oh, my goodness.
00:03:19.380 The Canadian Revenue Agency.
00:03:20.700 Now, apparently, they proposed a capital gains tax, a proposition.
00:03:25.560 You know, it hasn't been passed as law yet, what have you.
00:03:28.820 Basically, anybody who makes more than $100,000, if they sell a property, whatever, too,
00:03:33.220 they get to pay an additional 16% tacked on to 50% of that sale. 0.94
00:03:39.160 Make a long story short, you're going to get screwed.
00:03:41.720 Now, the CRA, our revenue people, our little bureaucratic box collectors, 0.94
00:03:48.060 little people who sit in cubicles all the time and complain about having to do a three-day work week
00:03:52.660 because some of them just have to commute and travel so far just to sit in an office.
00:03:57.460 They complain all the time and take money from people like you and me.
00:04:00.120 So, here's a story from the Toronto Sun in regards to that, too.
00:04:06.120 And I'll post this, and I'll put all this in my descriptions, ladies and gentlemen, too, if you like.
00:04:10.940 But I'll read along here with it, and I'll just give you some insight on just the buffoonery 1.00
00:04:15.940 that has been bestowed on us Canadians, yet again, because of, you know, stupidity. 1.00
00:04:23.100 Because of stupid people, you know what I mean? 1.00
00:04:26.580 A lot of stupid people out there calling the shots for us Canucks, 1.00
00:04:29.320 and it's just not right anymore. 1.00
00:04:31.400 People are getting pissed off.
00:04:32.880 So, confusion reigns over the proposed capital gains inclusion rate hike.
00:04:37.580 So, basically, you just want to gouge more money, too.
00:04:40.080 Despite no bill ever being tabled to increase Canada's capital gains inclusion rate,
00:04:44.000 reports suggest the Canadian Revenue Agency may move ahead anyway with the proposed changes.
00:04:48.720 As reported earlier this week by Black Lock's reporter, the Canadian Federation of Independent Business,
00:04:54.660 CFIB, quoted an official with the CRA suggesting the increase from the current 50% rate to 66% proposed
00:05:03.320 in the 2024 budget may still apply.
00:05:07.620 Can you say jumping the gun?
00:05:08.920 They're desperate for other people's money?
00:05:11.020 Quote, unquote, if Parliament is dissolved for an election before the higher inclusion rate has become law,
00:05:14.980 the agency will continue to administer the proposed legislation.
00:05:18.720 said CRA Project Officer Nina Isopova, according to CFIB.
00:05:23.420 This makes no sense at all, said CFIB CEO Dan Kelly, reported to Black Locks.
00:05:27.620 There needs to be a time and limit for a government to put legislation in place to raise taxes.
00:05:32.160 How much uncertainty can the country handle?
00:05:34.860 It's time for the government to withdraw this proposal and to allow each party to outline its position
00:05:39.000 on capital gains taxation during the upcoming election campaign.
00:05:43.320 CRA spokesperson Benoit Sabarin wouldn't elaborate when contacted by Black Locks reporter.
00:05:49.100 Quote, unquote, we are looking into this, he said.
00:05:51.740 We will keep you up to date.
00:05:53.700 As outlined by the government's spring budget, the new 66% capital gains inclusion rate will take effect June 25th.
00:06:01.140 But no bill was ever introduced into Parliament.
00:06:04.540 So, what's that tell you?
00:06:07.540 What's that tell you?
00:06:08.480 Honestly, folks, what does that tell you? 1.00
00:06:11.700 It tells you it's bullshit. 1.00
00:06:13.140 They're jumping the gun. 1.00
00:06:14.200 They're desperate for a few extra bucks, right?
00:06:16.620 I still receive notices in the mail that I owe an additional this and additional that because their assessment team says, 1.00
00:06:22.700 I guess I should give them some more money, even though I'm working like a goddamn dog. 0.98
00:06:26.420 And I'm thinking, where do you find the time to come up with the math to ding me for some more cash? 0.99
00:06:31.080 I tell you.
00:06:31.940 Okay.
00:06:32.740 So, some people's kids.
00:06:34.220 You know what I mean? 0.99
00:06:34.620 So, since this ass clown, this Justin Trudeau, has been elected, it seems like our taxes have gone up because they've spent more money. 0.99
00:06:42.000 Now, we've seen that with every government. 0.99
00:06:43.300 Not just one government has been perfect, but every government since the better part of 1976, okay, from what I remember when I was being told and hearing about the stress,
00:06:54.260 what my parents went through, what my grandparents went through, what friends of ours went through, what I went through, my wife has gone through,
00:07:00.960 every government has increased taxation.
00:07:03.100 They spent more, they taxed more.
00:07:05.440 Now, you've got bureaucrats, unelected officials, unelected officials, jumping the gun to gouge more money from people because, you know,
00:07:14.540 it really, really sucks to have to go to a cubicle for three days out of the week and just, you know, work, work, work with your hands and your fingers and your toes 0.99
00:07:21.420 when the rest of us are paying your fucking bills. 0.99
00:07:25.400 So, think about that, ladies and gentlemen. 0.99
00:07:26.880 We don't have a military that can do its job because people worry about tampons in the washroom and different dress regulations and, oh, my God, and unity,
00:07:35.180 but they don't want to unify anything, right?
00:07:38.120 Then we got a prime minister that would rather go skiing than handle any real kind of international or intercontinental business.
00:07:43.920 But I'll get to that shortly there, ladies and gentlemen.
00:07:46.180 I tell you, it's like, you know, Christmas, it's almost the gifts keep on giving.
00:07:51.980 You know what I mean?
00:07:53.760 Well, it's like I always say, ladies and gentlemen, crack don't smoke itself.

00:08:26.660 Get the algorithm going.
00:08:27.660 Help us connect, get our words out there, too.
00:08:29.480 Like I said earlier, I've lost subscribers all of a sudden.
00:08:32.020 And YouTube cannot give me a straight fudgesicle of an answer.
00:08:36.680 So let's get a few things straight here.
00:08:39.840 If you like the show, great.
00:08:40.880 If you don't like the show, that's fine, too.
00:08:42.040 That's everyone's choice.
00:08:43.100 We're allowed to think for ourselves and decide if you like this or like that.
00:08:46.180 But I'm just still finding it coincidental.
00:08:49.120 Coincidental that there's so many subscribers who have lost, who've been knocked off my page.
00:08:53.780 So double check your subscription.
00:08:55.240 Make sure you're still subscribed, ladies and gentlemen, and re-subscribe if you have to.
00:08:59.120 Click the notification bell.
00:09:00.440 Therefore, new content from me comes your way.
00:09:02.780 You're well aware of it, too.
00:09:04.120 So tell your friends.
00:09:05.500 Tell your kids.
00:09:06.440 Tell your kids' kids.
00:09:08.100 However you want to go by doing it.
00:09:10.040 Anyway, carrying on with the show.
00:09:11.800 Now, Mar-a-Lago.
00:09:12.560 We have got Dominic LeBlanc, our new finance minister, and 2IC, Mr. Deputy Prime Minister himself, and Mélanie Joly that went down to the States to negotiate with Trump's team in regards to the 25% tariff that Trump proposed or basically said he's going to put on Canada and Mexico if we don't smarten up our border issues.
00:09:33.020 Okay?
00:09:33.540 Now, before people clench their pearls and get all mad at me for saying, how dare you, Krusty, take the side of that bad, bad, bad orange man.
00:09:41.680 Well, I'm not taking his side, but I can also see where he's coming from, too.
00:09:45.340 Because when you look at our policies when it comes to the borders in both of our countries, it's been pretty effing slack.
00:09:52.960 Okay?
00:09:53.380 Pretty slack and idle.
00:09:56.080 Okay?
00:09:57.160 I'm all for immigration.
00:09:58.860 I'm all for people coming, moving around, living here, living there, contributing, paying their share of taxes, you know, and doing their thing.
00:10:07.400 And let freedom reign, you know.
00:10:09.280 But I don't agree with anyone just coming across the border saying they're a student, and they're taking some kind of cake decorating course, and they get a half-assed diploma, and then they demand to stay.
00:10:21.700 I don't agree with that.
00:10:23.520 Because half of those overnight schools and all these diploma makers are fakers taking money from good people who just want a better life.
00:10:32.240 But don't get me wrong, there's also some stragglers there who want to screw the system, too.
00:10:37.060 Okay?
00:10:37.980 And like I said, I'm all for immigration.
00:10:39.740 I'm not anti-immigrant.
00:10:40.940 I'm not anti-this. 0.99
00:10:41.960 I'm just anti-bullshit.
00:10:44.420 And because the benefits that are given to brand new people that come around and do this and do that, a lot of them just sit on the dole for a while. 0.99
00:10:51.520 Meaning they enjoy the benefits, and they don't want to get off their ass and do much. 0.99
00:10:55.460 Okay? 0.98
00:10:55.780 Now, I've had people say to me, well, you know, Krusty, there's people that won't take these jobs, and people that won't do this and do that.
00:11:01.920 And at one time, they were right.
00:11:03.380 But now, the way the economy is going, where you're demanding things, but there's no supply, it's kind of hard for anybody.
00:11:12.060 It doesn't matter what color you are, or what gender you are, or how you fart in the wind. 0.98
00:11:15.420 It doesn't fucking matter. 0.99
00:11:17.580 Okay? 1.00
00:11:17.800 There's a lot of crap going on, and the federal government's responsible for it. 0.99
00:11:21.620 We've got to sort it out. 0.92
00:11:22.760 Anyhow, I will put a little blurp up here about LeBlanc and Jolie, about their visit to the United States to try to talk to Trump's people.
00:11:31.000 Now, there isn't much to be said about it, because apparently, mum is the word on it.
00:11:36.080 But what else do you expect from the liberal government? 0.99
00:11:37.700 You know, these ass clowns, constantly worrying about their feelings and how things are going to look when they know things are turning to crap, but they don't want to take responsibility for it. 1.00
00:11:48.180 Anyhow, here's the story. 0.99
00:11:49.500 The Trudeau cabinet have traveled to Florida to meet with members of Donald Trump's incoming administration.
00:11:57.320 Finance Minister Dominic LeBlanc and Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Jolie have gone to Palm Beach.
00:12:02.380 It follows a meeting between the prime minister and Trump at Mar-a-Lago last month.
00:12:06.940 A statement from LeBlanc's office says the ministers intend to focus on border security and the negative impact that threatened tariffs would have on both Canada and the U.S.
00:12:18.060 Like, what do you expect?
00:12:21.420 Honestly, what do you expect from somebody who brags about how much he used to babysit the prime minister when, you know, he was younger?
00:12:29.140 To me, that's not a great talking point.
00:12:30.800 And obviously, because he was such a great babysitter, Justin just had to give him a job, I gotta say.
00:12:35.800 You know what I mean?
00:12:36.580 It must have been just that great altogether to give him a great job to sit here and say, oh, look at you.
00:12:41.860 You looked after me when I was a little boy.
00:12:43.700 Let me look after you.
00:12:45.240 Let me look after you.
00:12:46.720 Oh, it must be fun. 1.00
00:12:49.060 Fuck. 0.99
00:12:50.800 Anyhow, I'm not going to worry about the Key Largo thing because you can tell they're all scrambling now, eh? 1.00
00:12:56.300 They're all scrambling to make good, to make do, to look like they actually give a shit when they've had the better part of 10 years. 0.93
00:13:02.900 It's coming on to 10 years now, ladies and gentlemen, of what's going on. 0.98
00:13:06.840 Now, you're finding more and more cabinet ministers that are screeching and screaming out about, oh, Trudeau, you must step down.
00:13:12.780 You must step down.
00:13:13.480 You must step down.
00:13:14.800 Okay?
00:13:15.100 And, well, yeah, he should.
00:13:17.780 He should step down.
00:13:18.900 But you're finding a lot of his backbenchers are slowly creeping up to say, hey, it's time you step down.
00:13:25.780 even though they've too have had the better part of 10 years to sit there and say, well, you know,
00:13:31.040 I'm not happy with your decisions. So that's what gets me with certain cabinet members too. It
00:13:35.120 doesn't matter what party you're with. I don't care if you're NDP block. I don't care if you're
00:13:38.840 conservative. I don't care if you're liberal. I don't care if you're independent. When you know
00:13:42.720 your leadership is doing something wrong, okay, and you're not really thinking about the repercussions
00:13:48.860 of those wrong decisions or even those right decisions, you would think that you would be
00:13:54.520 obligated your moral compass, your moral fiber, because you're not just representing the party,
00:14:00.320 you're representing your constituents. And it doesn't matter if you represent 10,000 constituents
00:14:04.260 or a hundred thousand constituents, you think you would step in and say, Hey PM or Hey minister or 0.99
00:14:11.260 Hey buds, what the fuck are you doing? If you increase taxes here, this is what's going to 0.98
00:14:16.960 happen. If you take away money here, this is what's going to happen. If you give this money away over
00:14:22.040 there, right here is going to suffer. But no, of course not. Because every one of those little
00:14:27.080 bastards loves their cushy positions and they love the payola. They love the perks that goes with it. 1.00
00:14:34.780 Right. They love the perks. That's the way it is. Right. Like I've said, numerous episodes,
00:14:41.280 not the party, not the person, but the constituents and the country, but they don't see it that way.
00:14:47.700 No, of course not. Because that'd be too hard. That means they'll actually have to do some intense
00:14:52.520 labor, some brainstorming, right? Some proper thinking. Oh, what does this mean? Oh, what the
00:14:58.960 hell does that mean? It means you do your job. You're elected to represent. What are you representing?
00:15:03.760 Like I just mentioned earlier, but the CRA thing, they're taxing without proper representation.
00:15:09.700 It's stealing folks. It is taxation is theft period. Regardless of how big you want the military
00:15:15.740 or how great social programs you want here or what social programs you want there. Taxation now is
00:15:22.140 theft period. It is. How else do you look at it? You know, you can look at it with, with the whole
00:15:29.840 old adage of there's only two things certain in life. They're crusty is death and taxes. Well, if you're
00:15:35.040 a fucking mortician and a goddamn great accountant, of course, they're certain, but what if you're just 0.99
00:15:41.020 an average Joe or an average Jane and you just want to get along, save your money and just live your 1.00
00:15:45.960 life? You know, it's those ass clowns that I mentioned earlier that are making it harder and 0.99
00:15:51.900 it's time we start fucking fighting back. Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, 1.00

00:16:46.700 description too. So please check it out, ladies and gentlemen. Give us Canucks a hand. At least
00:16:50.720 give this Canuck a hand if you can. I'm not going to demand coin. I'm not going to be one of those
00:16:54.460 needy individuals that think I deserve the world. But hey, every little bit helps. I do put some
00:17:00.580 effort in making this podcast. So a little compensation would be nice. But like I said, you don't have to.
00:17:05.560 So that's fine. But please consider nonetheless. So anyway, carrying on with this whole issue
00:17:10.960 with CRA breaks law, Mar-a-Lago issue. In a way, I don't blame the Americans. I don't blame the
00:17:16.780 Americans for telling us to smarten up. I don't. How would we feel if the British were telling us that 0.63
00:17:23.020 or the French or the Germans? You know, there's a big ocean in the way, but still
00:17:27.120 the way the globalization system is working by online, what you see me through here and there,
00:17:35.020 can you really blame them? Our biggest trading partner, they want us to step up the plate.
00:17:39.540 Fine. We should do it. But what's the problem? You know, there's so many people out there who
00:17:45.200 are worrying about their national identity. You agreed with the prime minister that said we were
00:17:49.980 pro-national state. You also agreed with the prime minister that called the anti-vaxxers dirty
00:17:55.240 effing names. You also agreed with the prime minister that implemented the Emergency Measures
00:18:00.060 Act. Think about that. Hey, think about that. To some of the people out there that do watch
00:18:07.320 my show and they do weigh in with certain criticisms, where was your stance during the pandemic?
00:18:12.000 What was your stance during the convoy? And then think about it. And now you're worried about
00:18:16.900 national identity? Huh? Why won't you stand up for national identity then? We impressed the fucking
00:18:24.400 world. Those individuals that put on that convoy impressed the world. What are you going to do? 1.00
00:18:32.020 Think about that. Anyway, carrying on with more of this whole embarrassment too. Now here's a video
00:18:37.260 Justin Trudeau. He was skiing recently because of course he's got to go on holiday. Anytime there's
00:18:43.540 any kind of stress in this country, Justin's got to fuck off and go on holiday because he just needs 1.00
00:18:47.820 his duty sleep. He needs his rest. But there's an individual here who basically told him, you know, 1.00
00:18:55.260 where to go. And it's just, it's just interesting how it is. You know, it's just really, really
00:19:02.640 interesting how this is going on. The world's turning into a chaotic nightmare and we've got
00:19:12.660 a prime minister that would rather go skiing rather than being down to Key Largo or Mar-a-Largo
00:19:17.640 himself to look after things. You know what I mean? Which he should have done, you know, instead of
00:19:23.580 Jolie and Dominic LeBlanc, his babysitter. That's kind of ironic though. You know, he babysitted Justin
00:19:28.940 when he was a kid and in a way he's kind of trying to babysit him now too. You know, pick
00:19:33.100 up a bit of slack. But if you can, listen to what is said here in this little video.
00:19:39.560 Mr. Prime Minister. 1.00
00:19:43.920 Please get the fuck out of BC. 0.99
00:19:46.000 Have a wonderful day, man. 1.00
00:19:47.220 Yeah, you suck. 1.00
00:19:52.180 Okay. You know, that's self-explanatory, ladies and gentlemen. But I'll leave this link 1.00
00:19:55.320 in the description for you. Serves him right. And serves him right. Like I said, this whole
00:20:03.740 party wants him out now too. George Chahal out of Calgary. Okay. The porch pirate. I'll
00:20:10.120 call him the porch pirate because the last federal election, he was caught going to people's
00:20:13.460 mailboxes, taking out conservative flyers and pamphlets. Right. Now that's not very good
00:20:20.260 conduct becoming of an MP, is it? And yet he was still elected. Hmm. Go figure, right?
00:20:31.180 You know, and now he's crying the blues apparently because now he doesn't want Justin
00:20:36.560 to lead. He wants Justin to resign. So, you know, rats are leaving the ship, everybody.
00:20:40.700 How else do you explain it? Okay. So, we're trying to negotiate a deal with the Americans
00:20:50.500 here and Justin wants to go off skiing. What's that tell you? Now, apparently there's some
00:20:55.460 rumblings too about him and his staff being rude at the ski resort where he was at, where
00:21:00.240 he was bumping people in front of the line. Now it's allegations. I don't know if it's true
00:21:03.460 or not, but I'm sure there's a lot of people in that area of British Columbia, doesn't
00:21:08.220 matter where they're from, can recognize the silly potato's face and know for sure exactly 0.84
00:21:13.360 what he was doing. Now, Justin has been on tour all the time with a big entourage, big 0.59
00:21:18.520 security detail, because people are catching on to his bullshit. And some other members 0.99
00:21:22.920 of his cabinet are too, because apparently there's been death threats. Do you blame him,
00:21:28.480 ladies and gentlemen? Do you blame him? Do you really blame him? Not that I encourage
00:21:34.260 that sort of behavior? No, really, really, I don't. But who am I anyway? Anyway, I used
00:21:46.660 to say, it's a shit show. And after this Christmas, I have said we got to be thankful and appreciate 0.99
00:21:52.200 what we have. And we do. I appreciate what I have in my life. I appreciate you, my wonderful
00:21:56.820 audience. Give yourselves a wonderful round of applause. Because you guys are awesome,
00:22:04.100 especially ones that have not been unsubscribed or taken off or have stuck around all this
00:22:08.940 time. So thank you once again to everybody who has stuck around with me all this time
00:22:12.300 too. Like I've mentioned before, there's going to be some improvements coming to the Crusting
00:22:16.880 Out podcast. I am going to introduce two characters. They'll be doing certain sedgeways during
00:22:22.860 my episodes. So stay tuned for that. They're characters I created myself. A little improvement
00:22:29.680 on some older characters. But needless to say, there'll be some more comedy on the podcast
00:22:34.120 there for you, ladies and gentlemen. You know, I just hope you enjoy it. You know, you find
00:22:37.860 some laughter out of it. I had some real good fun creating those characters. So I hope you
00:22:42.940 enjoy it too. That'll probably happen within the next year pretty soon. So stay tuned for
00:22:46.840 that. And things are going to be tough next little while, ladies and gentlemen, for all
00:22:52.640 of us here. Not just to hear the show, but around us and around your neighborhoods and
00:22:57.680 all that too. Because they want to call an election. And I think an election might be called
00:23:02.480 probably February, my best guess, because there's a certain loophole they can do within committee
00:23:08.380 to basically have a no confidence. Now, as far as I know, the rules in Parliament have kept
00:23:15.840 on changing since Christ was a cowboy. So who knows? But people are getting sick of the
00:23:23.460 garbage. And it's time we start throwing it out. You know what I mean? It's that simple, 0.96
00:23:29.400 ladies and gentlemen. Anyhow, this episode's song is from a band called The Call, released
00:23:36.460 in 1989. It's called Let the Day Begin. And when you actually listen to the lyrics, it's a
00:23:43.020 very, very powerful blue collar song. It's a salute to blue collar people out there. It's a
00:23:49.060 salute to everyone who tries. It's a salute to everybody who is given all they can. And they keep
00:23:55.980 on going. So I hope you enjoy that song, ladies and gentlemen. Like I said, it comes from a band
00:23:59.600 called The Call. It was released 1989. I don't know if the band still tours or not too. But that was
00:24:04.820 probably one of their only major hits from that decade. And it's not your typical 80s kind of
00:24:10.220 song. It's not hair metal. It's not synth pop. It's not. It's just a good old fashioned kind of
00:24:15.440 rock band. Just giving their all and appreciating the blue collar heroes out there. So please give
00:24:20.860 it a listen to. I'll include it in the episode song there, ladies and gentlemen, too. And next
00:24:24.280 episode, I'll have a few more songs up for you all to enjoy at your leisure. But in the meantime,
00:24:30.980 New Year's is coming. So I'll try to have an episode up probably for prior to New Year's Eve or
00:24:35.140 on New Year's Eve just to wish, you know, good tidings and all that good stuff. But I'll try to
00:24:40.160 be a little more consistent with the show, ladies and gentlemen. Wonderful people like you make it
00:24:43.960 happen, too. And I've noticed I had some downloads from the Philippines and more from Israel. So thank
00:24:49.120 you very much to my fan base in the Philippines. And shalom to my Israeli viewers. Thank you very
00:24:55.080 much. Please give me some comments and likes and all that good stuff, too. Just let me know if you're
00:24:59.880 out there, ladies and gentlemen. Let me know. You know, don't be shy. The more comments, the more
00:25:04.380 thumbs up, the more it helps us Canucks get our words out well before they start passing in these
00:25:08.640 silly censorship laws like Bill C-63 and what have you. But anyway, folks, I have been Krusty Canuck
00:25:13.880 on this beautiful 29th of December 2024. I wish good things for you all, too. Don't lose your heads.
00:25:21.800 You know, basically, don't lose your mind. Don't lose your nerves. Do what you can. Help you out in these
00:25:25.300 trying times. I know Christmas just has come and gone. I still wish Merry Christmas to you all,
00:25:29.760 out there. And looking forward to the new year, new things, new tidings, new adventures and new
00:25:34.840 light in this manufactured darkness. And so like I say, do what you can. Help you out in these
00:25:39.560 trying times. Be kind, be civil, keep your head, but stand high and stand proud. And like I always
00:25:45.820 say, ladies and gentlemen, humanity and merit wins the day. Take care and I'll see you next time. Bye for now.
00:25:52.880 This has been another episode of the Krusty Canuck podcast. Stay safe and thank you for listening.
00:26:20.040 From Western Canada, this is the Krusty Canuck podcast. 0.99
