00:00:14.080 of course the prime minister politics in this country yada yada yada all the other bs and i

00:00:20.560 want to go over who's grateful and who isn't grateful ladies and gentlemen all that and more

00:00:25.200 coming to the christian podcast please stick around listener of your discretion is advised

00:00:29.960 because i will swear smoke cigarettes and uh be a little dramatic see you in a bit

00:00:34.760 get it sweetheart because i am hard you will not like me

00:00:43.720 there is no racial bigotry here

00:00:49.720 from western canada this is the crusty canuck podcast a canadian veterans point of view

00:01:02.980 on political social economic issues and life here's crusty

00:01:08.280 that's right ladies and gentlemen welcome to the episode 324 gratitude no gratitude or of course you

00:01:15.260 know for the rest of us festivus all that good stuff in this podcast is brought to you in part

00:01:19.580 by and supported by veterans for freedom network that's right stand to veterans for freedom and

00:01:24.880 coming soon veterans for freedom tv maybe next year sometime i don't know we'll see anyhow everybody

00:01:30.440 how you doing i am crusty canuck your wonderful host and i want to say thank you out there to

00:01:34.680 the wonderful subscribers i have had uh the past couple days i noticed that my subscriber count has

00:01:41.560 gone down uh effective on the 21st and 22nd i noticed uh roughly 440 or maybe 450 subscribers

00:01:49.020 have just left the page all of a sudden interesting hey

00:01:52.680 what do you say i smell bs on the part of the people at yt yankee tango uh who knows exactly

00:02:01.660 what it is i've written emails thinking what's happening here now i know there's bots and stuff

00:02:05.680 like that there's a lot of fake accounts out there roaming around but that's quite a bit of

00:02:09.880 a subscription loss to happen in less than 24 hours don't you think

00:02:13.080 something to think about anyway if you like to hear your see click like subscribe i'm thankful

00:02:19.040 to my new subscribers keep subscribing keep liking commenting sharing this all over your social media

00:02:24.340 platforms do not be shy uh but there's a lot of bs going on not just in the tech world but in our

00:02:31.100 political world too ladies and gentlemen uh there's still people speculating about the whole donald trump

00:02:35.120 thing about the tariffs about canada being the fifth state and so many pm's uh supporters and allies

00:02:41.360 alike clenching the pearls hoping that isn't true when all these people in the powers that be have

00:02:46.700 shown no gratitude whatsoever for this country we call canada anyway like the title card said

00:02:52.040 uh basically festivus right it's christmas ladies and gentlemen time we should be with our families

00:02:57.220 time we should be loved ones and appreciate what we have and what we can get later on in our lives

00:03:02.180 uh the more we struggle the more we try the more we work the more we should get ahead so you'd think

00:03:06.960 but this year i think has been a classic example of no matter how hard you really try to get ahead

00:03:12.320 there's always going to be people holding the key or holding open the gate or closing the gate on you

00:03:17.960 uh my gratitude is this i have a home i have lights on i have you my wonderful audience give

00:03:24.120 yourselves a round of applause you guys are awesome and i'm grateful i am really grateful for the people

00:03:31.580 that have tuned into my show tuned in my podcast and give me some positive feedback uh i like to say

00:03:36.460 i noticed on my podbean account there i've had about 32 people from israel watch my show so thank you very

00:03:42.400 much shalom happy hanukkah uh to my israeli uh fan base out there thank you very much and i've also

00:03:48.620 received a few comments on my shorts uh in regards to uh people saying anti-semitic things i don't tolerate

00:03:57.020 it ladies and gentlemen okay i don't tolerate any anti-christian sentiment anti-anti-jewish sentiment

00:04:04.520 or any anti-muslim sentiment in fact i'm not going to tolerate any anti-semitic religion whatsoever

00:04:10.160 my personal belief in religion is this if it makes you happy do it but if your religion tells you you 0.89

00:04:16.780 have to kill or hurt somebody in the name of said god then maybe you should get a new religion that's

00:04:21.760 where i stand okay and when i look at christmas it's not just a christian idea behind it it's not 0.96

00:04:29.960 just the birth of christ it's not just the birth of uh whatever uh god that is out there it is also

00:04:37.380 a celebration of a lot of european heritage where the pagans you know prior to christianity in europe

00:04:43.180 that they would celebrate the end of the harvest the winter solstice celebrate the trees and the snow

00:04:47.720 and a good year good stocks to feed the livestock and to feed the families and they all danced and

00:04:54.680 were merry and celebrated the end of the year with a festivity right that's that's the kind of tradition

00:05:01.660 i like ladies and gentlemen what do you like right now if i've angered some people who listen to this show

00:05:08.680 well too bad okay i'm an advocate for free speech and that's free speech absolutely it doesn't matter

00:05:15.700 if you're offended or not i'm not here to tiptoe i'm not here to cater or to pander i'm just here to

00:05:21.560 speak my mind if you like what i do that's great enjoy what i say and do that's fantastic too uh but

00:05:27.680 when i look at this christmas season i look at gratitude for for people that are trying to get ahead

00:05:33.800 and i show gratitude to those who make an effort who give an effort who give time and effort to things

00:05:40.900 i am grateful for my wife i am grateful for my family i'm grateful for my home i am grateful for

00:05:46.340 the ability to be able to sit here and talk about these wonderful things and to speak our mind as we

00:05:52.880 should and it doesn't matter if you're canadian or american it doesn't matter if you're british

00:05:55.860 german french it doesn't matter if you identify as this or that you have every right to speak your mind

00:06:00.720 and so we should so let's be grateful for the ability we can still do that even though there are

00:06:05.820 people and the powers that be as i sit here and talk to you wonderful human beings uh that would

00:06:13.940 like to change that someday so i have no gratitude for the people that increased our cost of living

00:06:19.640 i have no gratitude for the individuals that would cry bully their way into something into getting

00:06:26.700 someone fired or getting someone hurt or getting someone sued or getting someone to pay a fine

00:06:32.020 because their feelings got hurt because there are a lot of people out there as we speak today that

00:06:37.800 are going without on a regular basis because of decisions that were made on their behalf

00:06:42.140 and most of those decisions have come from bureaucrats and paper pushers and bean counters the

00:06:47.280 like so i am not grateful for individuals that have screamed about uncomfort or uncomfortable

00:06:55.340 times i am grateful for the people that have persevered and overcome options i am grateful for people

00:07:01.160 that look at themselves in the mirror every day and go yeah i've been hurt i've been screwed over but

00:07:05.920 guess what i'm carrying the fuck on i'm grateful for those people and guess what they come in all 0.98

00:07:11.500 shapes and sizes ladies and gentlemen all colors all creeds all genders and all spectrums however they 0.97

00:07:20.980 want to reinvent society or not now for this christmas 2024 i am grateful for the fact that i can sit here

00:07:27.660 and speak my mind and i still have my health no pun intended

00:07:31.220 i am grateful that i can still buy a few of these and enjoy them i am grateful that you have a steady

00:07:39.840 job and the bills are getting paid and i'm grateful for you my wonderful audience that have stuck with me

00:07:45.440 this far and put up with things and ask me good questions and i'm more than happy to answer too

00:07:52.200 and i am grateful that i still live in a country that's worth fighting for

00:07:56.520 it's that simple ladies and gentlemen this country is still worth fighting for regardless of how you

00:08:03.200 feel about it or not regardless of history regardless of mandates that have come and gone

00:08:09.000 over the years i am still grateful that i live in a country called canada and i'm happy we have a

00:08:14.760 democracy still knock on wood and i'm grateful that we have people that are willing to fight the good

00:08:22.720 fight to make sure that we see more light in the manufactured darkness right back after this

00:08:29.760 stay updated and follow crusty canuck on facebook twitter gap telegram youtube and podbean

00:08:38.040 subscribe today and donate at crustycanuck.ca

00:08:44.760 and you're back ladies and gentlemen episode 324 of the crustycanuck podcast gratitude and no

00:08:50.820 gratitude uh the title card says for the rest of us festivus right festivus for the rest of us the old

00:08:56.440 uh jerry seinfeld uh joke there one of their uh festive episodes per se um it's a joke all right christmas

00:09:05.140 is for kids christmas is for adults too but it's still a time to celebrate and reflect

00:09:09.220 excuse me just like thanksgiving but every day we should be thankful for something every day we

00:09:17.420 should be thankful for things that we do have the little things that we have okay uh ideally i would

00:09:23.520 like to be making a lot of money with this podcast but you know at the moment i'm not like i said i'm

00:09:28.240 losing subscribers and uh yankee tango are being a bunch of how do you say twat waffles when it comes

00:09:34.020 to telling you the truth however i'm sure fellow uh yankee tangos out there have had uh the same

00:09:40.080 situation with some of their shows and broadcasts too um i am grateful to the fact that we can look

00:09:45.920 at the whole dei thing and dismiss it that's what it is it's nothing but pandering okay i'm grateful

00:09:53.000 that i have worked with and worked for people that have come from many different backgrounds who have

00:09:58.200 given me insight into how to be a better man and a better leader okay and i'm also grateful once

00:10:03.840 again for my wife my wife is an amazing human being she's overcome so many odds in her life prior to 0.95

00:10:09.960 meeting me and prior to marrying my sorry ass but uh she's she's there she's a pillar so to every man 1.00

00:10:18.840 out there look at your wife and give her the respect she deserves and for you ladies too look at your 0.99

00:10:25.360 husband and give him every respect he deserves and then this in this in this festive season look at

00:10:32.480 your kids and see their faces light up tomorrow morning and appreciate that little things like

00:10:36.600 that right and for those adults out there who cannot give as much to their children as they wanted to

00:10:42.520 the thought is there but the actions will speak louder than words maybe do better next year maybe do

00:10:49.100 better this year or just do what you can just to be a good mom pa you know what i mean

00:10:53.520 and just try to be a good human being i'm going to play the prime minister's christmas message here

00:11:00.620 okay now it's only about a minute 40 long but i don't really think it's really worth the time

00:11:06.000 however you would think that mr pm would make a better effort on wishing good tidings to the citizens

00:11:13.720 of this country but i'm going to play it for you and i want you to assess what you will out of it

00:11:18.640 i'm not telling you what to think or how to think or what to do but needless to say ladies and gentlemen

00:11:23.280 get what you can out of it because i just got nothing but bs out of it and i will do a little 0.95

00:11:29.660 critique thereafter as always because the man's so full of crap and i know i just said try to be kind 0.84

00:11:37.720 to people be good to people but i'm not going to give him any gratitude whatsoever i've never really 0.91

00:11:42.760 had any plan uh to give the prime minister of this country any gratitude uh because his actions have 0.97

00:11:49.140 spoke a hell of a lot louder than conventional words and uh like just look at the shitting grin

00:11:54.920 in his face you know look at me i i'm just such a great man oh look at me i'm so cool you're so full 0.99

00:12:01.620 of it you wanker but here i'll play it for you and you all listen and get what you can out of it 0.93

00:12:07.760 merry christmas this is a time of year to slow down to rest and to connect with the people you 0.92

00:12:14.760 love most it's a moment to put our phones down put our politics aside even when that one cousin makes

00:12:21.720 it really hard and to focus on what matters for christians it's a time to celebrate the birth of

00:12:29.560 christ and think about his story of kindness forgiveness and faith the lessons of his life are

00:12:37.100 universal and they inspire and comfort people every time they're told and retold for so many

00:12:44.320 the holidays are a time of big family gatherings and feasts of gifts and celebrations but maybe it's

00:12:51.540 a very hard time for you if you're grieving worried or alone this can be the toughest time of the year

00:12:58.480 it can be the loneliest so let us all check in on the people in our lives who've not had an easy

00:13:05.580 time this year and who may be needing us more than we know for a lot of canadians christmas is not a

00:13:12.800 holiday at all so thank you to our brave first responders calf members health care and essential

00:13:19.960 workers and everyone who's on a job right now so that others can stay home safely you embody what

00:13:27.520 christmas is really about giving gifts food and service to those around us i wish joy to everyone

00:13:37.620 who's celebrating today and comfort to those who are suffering wherever you are i hope you find light

00:13:44.040 and hope for the year ahead merry christmas

00:13:47.740 what a smug son of a you know what okay honestly some people's kids i tell you okay well the only

00:13:59.340 thing i got out of that is he made a crack about you know some cousin making a comment a political 0.91

00:14:04.720 cousin uh actually justin you are the political cousin that we fear and uh i don't mean fear as in

00:14:11.200 fearing of our lives uh we fear that we're going to do something we might regret because of you

00:14:16.600 we fear what kind of people we're going to turn into because of individuals like yourself and your party

00:14:23.080 and your backers and supporters and all that too i fear how much more anger i have to feel

00:14:29.580 because of men like you because of people like you that intentionally increase our cost of living

00:14:37.020 that have made our lives even harder now it's not just the pm's fault ladies and gentlemen it's

00:14:43.160 everyone that backed them up it's the people that okayed the spending it's the people that denied

00:14:47.400 our troops access to things it's the people that forbid us to own firearms it's the people that

00:14:53.060 have divided this country that make me angry and i try to keep my anger at a certain level i try to

00:15:01.400 keep my rage at a certain level but here i am a better part of 50 years of age

00:15:06.780 and i have sacrificed time and effort for people i have given my heart and soul to this nation

00:15:14.420 and there's a man who shows no gratitude whatsoever

00:15:18.900 for anything because he was raised in a well-to-do family he said everything his heart desired

00:15:26.760 and he's never showed any gratitude for this nation whatsoever now the liberal christmas party he

00:15:33.860 says he loves being canadian but then again he also said prior to his election in 2015

00:15:39.420 we are a post-national state so which is it justin you admire basic dictatorships so you try it on for

00:15:47.500 yourself to see how it goes and members of your own party are getting sick of you

00:15:52.860 so to the likes of justin trudeau to the likes of all the supporters maybe you should reflect on what

00:16:02.580 you're grateful for and maybe you should reflect on the actions you have taken to hurt people

00:16:08.060 and maybe you should reflect on the actions you've taken to have people fired

00:16:12.180 for questioning the science or questioning uh the climate or questioning certain authorities

00:16:20.260 or questioning the bail conditions or questioning uh the gun laws or for questioning anything you

00:16:26.360 guys have laid out in the table in a half-assed laxadaisical slackadaisical matter or manner

00:16:33.000 i am not grateful for you i am not grateful for you liberal party of canada and some members of the

00:16:41.180 conservative party and definitely not the ndp i am not grateful for backbenchers who've sat in

00:16:45.820 parliament and done nothing all this country goes broke i am not grateful for individuals that spit 0.77

00:16:51.800 on the truckers i am not grateful for people in this country who have spit on our flag

00:16:58.580 i'm not grateful for that you have every right to do it you have every right to express yourself

00:17:05.480 i'm not grateful for people that want a good life in this country and they want to change the rules

00:17:11.460 and change the laws to satisfy their own comfort i'm not grateful for that i'm grateful for the

00:17:19.640 wisdom that i was given by some members of the first nations who told me things about the wolf

00:17:24.780 told me things about rivers and the trees i'm grateful for that i'm not grateful for the ungrateful

00:17:31.460 it's that simple ladies and gentlemen

00:17:33.840 it's that simple however i i intend to keep standing up for what is right for this country 0.95

00:17:43.140 and i expect you my wonderful audience do the same thing too well if you see something stupid call it 0.98

00:17:49.980 out you know laugh at them wasn't the old folklore that if you try to hunt a witch you bring her out 0.96

00:17:55.680 in the open and you put her on the spot right wasn't that you know i'm thinking metaphorically here

00:18:01.240 okay you call into question right that's been done to a lot of people the past 10 years in regards to

00:18:08.680 what people tweet or what people say or people write and then you have certain individuals who have 0.96

00:18:14.860 the audacity to come out and say i have ptsd because of what they said bullshit you're just 0.70

00:18:22.880 uncomfortable and you can't handle it right so let's be grateful we have the attitude and the 0.95

00:18:29.040 ability to still dissect and look for the truth ladies and gentlemen regardless of how many

00:18:35.160 individuals say they're giving you the truth i would still look at it under scrutiny and make sure

00:18:41.320 they are telling the truth this year let us remember who we are and what we can do let us be grateful for

00:18:49.280 what we have i just mentioned to you what i'm grateful for what are you grateful for please

00:18:54.020 tell me in the comments give me a thumbs up all that good stuff it's a matter too if you like and

00:18:57.760 hear what you see ladies and gentlemen click like subscribe share this content on those social media

00:19:01.400 platforms do not be shy let me know what's on your mind resub if you have to just double check your

00:19:07.240 notification bell there too on your page resub if you have to just in case because really 440 plus

00:19:13.300 individuals gone in less than 24 hours that's quite a lot of bots apparently you know or maybe

00:19:21.980 there's 440 people just don't like what i have to say anymore either or i just find it kind of

00:19:26.320 clinky dink that uh i lost all those subs in that short a time but you know you my wonderful audience you

00:19:32.880 decide what you like and he like and see and uh you know i'll be right back after this

00:19:37.980 stay updated and follow crusty canuck on facebook twitter gap telegram youtube and podbean

00:19:49.960 and welcome back ladies and gentlemen to episode 324 of the crusty canuck podcast

00:19:56.900 gratitude and no gratitude the rest of us festivus for the rest of us all that good stuff i'm your

00:20:03.780 host crusty canuck and i hope you like when you hear what you see click like subscribe all that good

00:20:07.140 stuff i've been through this before i just got to keep repeating it because the algorithm is is

00:20:10.600 screwy so you know i trust your judgment ladies and gentlemen and now this christmas let's just do

00:20:15.260 what we can to be good to repeat each other you know the prime minister did say about kindness and

00:20:19.500 everything you know but uh we both know that it's uh he's full of it you know he hasn't been kind to

00:20:25.620 many canadians he wasn't kind to the uh convoy uh people he wasn't convoy uh he wasn't kind uh to

00:20:32.300 veterans he hasn't been kind to seniors so just let him have his little you know swan song his little

00:20:37.560 his little blurb there right uh what i'll do is i'll leave the uh message in the description

00:20:43.700 and uh his actual statement that come from parliament there too right uh he also mentioned

00:20:50.280 something about the military uh quote unquote as we reflect on the past year and look to the future

00:20:57.100 let us continue to show love and kindness to ourselves and those in need let us also take a

00:21:02.680 moment to thank those who give so much to themselves to make canada the place we are proud to call home

00:21:07.260 including the brave members of our canine armed forces the dedicated first responders and essential

00:21:12.300 workers and the countless volunteers thank you thank to all of you i wish joy to everyone who is

00:21:18.000 celebrating today and comfort to those who are suffering wherever you are i hope you find light

00:21:23.320 and hope your head merry christmas well you uh caused some of that darkness buds you did your whole

00:21:32.480 party did um i'm not blaming it all on you you know we're all guilty of making decisions in our lives

00:21:38.620 we're all guilty of not showing up we should have shown up or you know we're all guilty of uh putting

00:21:44.620 90 percent in when we should put 100 percent in but uh i'll make an exception for your case pal

00:21:50.000 okay some of the laws you want to push down our throats you know uh some of the regulations you

00:21:57.280 want to uh permit and throw at us in the name of safety and comfort uh you're just full of it

00:22:03.520 your your cabinet's full of it and while you criticize alexa mr polia for being a career politician

00:22:09.860 how many backbenchers in your party right now have been in more than 20 years okay

00:22:15.340 how many members of your cabinet were selected based on their identity and not their qualifications

00:22:28.500 how many of your backbenchers and buddies were at your wedding party

00:22:37.520 quite a few quite a few now i'm still going to believe in merit and i believe in humanity

00:22:48.280 you know if i was to see you on the street and you were bleeding i would give you first aid i would

00:22:55.840 i would but i wouldn't have small talk with you i wouldn't talk with you at all i don't want to see

00:23:02.640 you demise i don't want to see you unaligned i want to see you be humbled i want to see a lot of

00:23:10.720 you leaders be humbled this holiday season i want to see a lot of you bureaucrats and the people you

00:23:16.940 hired to tell guys like me and my friends and my wife that you owe us more money this year because

00:23:23.640 something went wrong with the filing system i want to see all the bureaucrats and all the so-called
