The Crusty Canuck Podcast - Ep# 153 Inflation!!!

00:00:00.000 Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. It's a beautiful 20th of October 2021 coming to the

00:00:06.640 Crusty Neck podcast. Episode 153. Inflation at 4.4 percent. Feds are off work until 22nd

00:00:14.600 November and municipal elections here in Alberta have gone woke. All that and more. Stick around.

00:00:21.020 Listener discretion is advised.

00:00:26.220 Hit it, sweetheart. Because I am hard, you will not like me.

00:00:31.460 Yes, sir. There is no racial bigotry here. There you are all.

00:00:42.980 From Western Canada, this is the Crusty Canuck podcast, a Canadian veteran's point of view.

00:00:50.500 On political, social, economic issues and life. Here's Crusty.

00:00:58.560 That's right, ladies and gentlemen. Inflation at 4.4 percent. Feds off till 22nd November. Municipal

00:01:03.520 elections have gone woke and other, other dramatic influences coming at you from the Canadian

00:01:08.580 government. Greetings, ladies and gentlemen. I'm your host, Crusty Canuck on this beautiful 20th

00:01:13.160 of October 2021. And yes, inflation has gone sky high compared to last year and compared to what

00:01:20.380 happened in 2003. Of course, with the liberal government borrowing more of your money and

00:01:24.860 giving it away in the name of virtue and saving the world. All that good stuff. Just to remind you,

00:01:29.580 if you like and hear what you see, please kick like, subscribe, all that good stuff and share this

00:01:33.140 all around, all over your social media spectrum and help us independent folk get the words out there.

00:01:39.840 Now, I came across a video that Mr. Pierre Pelliev did on his private, when I was private, his YouTube

00:01:47.200 channel discussing and explaining the whole 4.4 percent inflation on things. Cost of living has

00:01:54.120 gone up, price of beef, grains, fuel especially. My wife did me a favor today. She went and actually

00:01:59.640 filled up my truck and it cost her $75 from half a tank. Interesting. Interesting. And it's quite

00:02:07.820 quite the shit show, especially out here in the province of plenty, what we call Alberta, ladies 0.99

00:02:13.840 and gentlemen. It's turning into a real, real, how do you say, catastrophe per se. I don't know about 0.99

00:02:21.940 you, but things aren't looking too great on the economic outlook, especially with these elected

00:02:26.980 officials taking more time off, like I said in the title. You know, we had the election on the 20th of

00:02:32.080 September. I did my part and everything, especially when it came to reaching out to people and talking

00:02:38.700 people. Yes, of course. Thank you. Thank you for your time. Yes, thank you for the applause.

00:02:44.720 But it cost me some money to get out there and to promote the values of the Veterans Coalition

00:02:52.000 Party, what have you. But when I look at some of the statistics that the major parties have spent,

00:02:57.720 and we all know that the federal government spent roughly $610 million on their campaigns,

00:03:02.580 taxpayers' money, of course, to basically nothing really, not to venture much, maybe gain one seat

00:03:08.880 or two seats. But what was all said and done, this election never really made any that much of a

00:03:12.920 difference, except some people might change their mind next time around if it does come. But it

00:03:18.180 didn't really prove effective, ladies and gentlemen. Now, I'm just queuing up Pierre Paulyev's video here

00:03:22.800 for you to listen to and to watch at your own accord and decide from there, folks, to get some insight

00:03:29.000 on this inflation and how things are working. And well, we'll just leave it at that. So I'm just

00:03:34.840 going to queue up the video here and you guys listen to your leisure, at your leisure, and decide from

00:03:40.440 there. Breaking news, everyone. Liberal inflation has hit 4.4%. This is the highest rate of inflation

00:03:48.460 since 2003. Of course, it follows on $400 billion of government money printing. All of those dollars are

00:03:57.740 chasing after fewer goods and services, bidding up their prices. The result, of course, is a higher

00:04:04.640 cost of living for everyday Canadians, hitting the poorest people the hardest. The top line number

00:04:10.360 of 4.4%, of course, is twice the Bank of Canada's stated target of 2%. We're now more than half a year

00:04:23.220 where the bank target of 2% has been exceeded by the real reported CDI.

00:04:30.120 It's $400 billion of government money anywhere but 2 million.

00:04:33.560 The consumer price index, of course, understates inflation because it does not capture things

00:04:38.600 like the reduced amounts of food that companies put in the packaging that they charge you for,

00:04:46.980 nor does it capture the true rise in house prices. But even with that understated number, we are again

00:04:56.580 breaking decade-long records and you have to go back to the very beginning of this century

00:05:03.460 to find inflation this high. The essentials of life have become more expensive. Housing prices are up by a

00:05:11.240 third, fuel prices by more than a third, and food prices are ballooning out of control.

00:05:20.840 Just yesterday, Blackwell...

00:05:23.240 And I'll just pause it there momentarily, too. It's just, it's quite annoying on how this past year we've all

00:05:30.360 seen and heard the amount of ridiculous spending going into things and nothing's been done about it

00:05:36.040 all because, well, leaders get kickbacks. Self-explanatory, really, when you think about it.

00:05:43.040 ...blocks reported the price of chicken is up 35% in Newfoundland, butter 42% in Nova Scotia,

00:05:51.160 oranges 17% in Quebec, bacon 19% in Ontario. So working-class wage-earning people are seeing their

00:06:00.440 paychecks shrink in real value as the cost of everything goes up in relative terms. Of course,

00:06:10.920 the very rich are rolling in cash. Their assets have inflated in price. Their stocks, their mansions,

00:06:19.720 their bonds, their gold, and other assets are becoming more pricey, which means their net worth rises,

00:06:27.240 while the working-class people see their real wages drop. Massive wealth transfer from the

00:06:34.680 have-nots to the have-yachts. Of course, this is all part of the liberal inflation tax. Governments

00:06:42.120 print money to pay their bills, thus driving up the cost of everything. Instead of just raising your taxes

00:06:49.000 directly, which liberals would love to do, they do it in a stealth and silent way by simply printing cash,

00:06:56.200 flooding the marketplace with that cash, bidding up the price of goods, and leaving you with the bill.

00:07:01.800 But we will fight back. We're going to fight against money printing in favour of sound money.

00:07:09.480 We as Conservatives believe that we should stop creating cash and start creating the stuff that cash buys.

00:07:17.480 Produce more energy, more nutritious food, build more houses, and more. You supply the economy

00:07:26.600 with more goods instead of just more cash, then you can actually lower the cost of living,

00:07:32.520 make life more affordable, so that everyday people can get ahead. That's what our leader,

00:07:37.880 our tool is fighting for. It's what our Conservative caucus believes in, and that is what we will do as

00:07:42.360 soon as the Parliament resumes. End the inflation tax, restore sound money, make more, cost less,

00:07:49.000 paychecks, not debt. Breaking news, everyone.

00:07:56.920 Yes, it's exactly about paychecks, ladies and gentlemen. No more credit card debt.

00:08:01.000 My wife and I, we've had those issues too, the past little while,

00:08:03.640 in getting things done, getting things paid off. Now, my credit card isn't ridiculously high,

00:08:09.240 thankfully, knock on wood, but it's come close. Trust me, it's come close a few times.

00:08:40.600 The little thing at the bottom there. You can follow me on Rumble, Brighton, and Wimkin too.

00:08:44.680 Once I record these episodes, I load them on to those social media sites to stop the whole censorship onslaught.

00:08:52.200 Like I've said, this episode is about the inflation, so things are going up.

00:08:56.440 And on a good note, ladies and gentlemen, I have had an interview recently with an employer,

00:09:02.760 and I start my new job tomorrow.

00:09:11.720 Anyway, we'll see how it goes. I'm not going to count all my chickens before they hatch, but

00:09:19.720 it's a start in the right place. Again, like I've said last episode, I've been looking for work,

00:09:24.520 trying to get things on the go here and try and keep the lights on and try to keep this podcast going

00:09:30.040 because you, my wonderful audience, my listeners out there are the ones that count. And I love doing

00:09:34.200 this show and I love getting the feedback and all that too. And like I say, please click like, subscribe,

00:09:39.720 and comment too whenever you see this or wherever you see this video. And please consider donating today

00:09:46.120 as well. Like I've said before the last time, I still have a t-shirt draw going on here. So if you

00:09:52.920 do want to win yourself a t-shirt, please consider donating $5 per month via the address there where

00:10:00.920 it says donate at patreon.podbean.com, Krusty Canuck. Five bucks a month entry gets you an automatic entry

00:10:08.680 into winning that t-shirt. And if you want to go a little bit more, you can donate $10 a month

00:10:14.280 and get yourself a Krusty Canuck podcast mug. You get that mug in the red and it also comes in black

00:10:19.480 too, ladies and gentlemen. So please consider donating what you can today and win yourself a

00:10:24.760 nice piece of Krusty Canuck merchandise. Or if you just want to donate, you can do that too. No strings

00:10:31.160 attached. We all try to make money here, try to get things on the go, but I think I'm trying to earn it

00:10:36.040 as anybody should by hard work and dedication and getting the words out there to people too.

00:10:41.720 So as I say, this episode is inflation 4.4%. And of course, the feds are off till the 22nd of

00:10:48.040 November. And so elections go woke. That's right. Now that the federal election, they had the 20th

00:10:52.840 of September. I can understand if you need a week off to recoup, charge your batteries. Because I

00:10:58.600 remember we used to do exercises in the military. We'd be gone for four weeks to six weeks. In some cases,

00:11:02.600 eight weeks, we get back to battalion. They give us a week off just to recoup, charge your batteries,

00:11:07.800 to clean our kit, sort whatever administrative affairs out, look after our families, our friends,

00:11:12.840 whatever. Then we go back to work, back to post-ex drills and all that good stuff. And everybody

00:11:17.000 was happy. Okay. What gets me with the federal legislation and electors alike, they give themselves

00:11:22.760 all this time off. Okay. Now, Mr. Trudeau is going to pick a cabinet come the 26th of October,

00:11:28.760 I believe. And we're going to probably find some more diversity, more wokeness and more gender 0.52

00:11:33.960 parity, all in the name of progress. And then they probably go back to work on the 22nd of November,

00:11:41.080 work for three weeks, and they take another six weeks off for Christmas. Isn't that just brilliant?

00:11:45.720 Wow. And all that for 183,000 bucks a year, just to represent your writing. Isn't that just fantastic?

00:11:59.000 Pretty scary, isn't it? Well, intently, ladies and gentlemen, that's what it is.

00:12:03.080 So it's money well wasted, as far as I'm concerned. Now, considering that we are at this high rate of

00:12:07.880 inflation, of course, those individuals are well looked after, right? They're at the 100,000 plus a year

00:12:14.360 mark. So they can afford the stakes, they can afford the gasoline, they can afford to go here

00:12:19.080 and go there. And when I was running in the election, okay, I had some great conversations

00:12:23.480 with our conservative rep. Okay, nice guy, family man, blue color oriented, grew up in humble beginnings.

00:12:31.320 Okay. And we didn't really debate, but we bantered back and forth in regards to pay raises and who got

00:12:38.360 what. Now, there were a few conservatives that do give their money to charity. Okay, that's fine.

00:12:44.200 You know, I stated that if I was elected, I'd be given my money to charity too, and rightfully

00:12:49.160 so, because that's a lot of money to give to a representative to sit and banter back and

00:12:53.480 forth in the House of Commons in this country. And in fact, even a provincial MP or a provincial MLA,

00:12:59.560 they get paid quite a few bucks too, to sit and banter back and forth and challenge this,

00:13:03.160 challenge that, try to pass this law, this legislation, the way our democracy should work.

00:13:07.480 Okay. But when you're not seeing things get done in the outside of Queens Park or the legislature or in

00:13:16.760 the House of Commons, you tend to wonder what exactly the fuck they're doing. Okay. So it puts 0.98

00:13:23.480 things in perspective, ladies and gentlemen. Okay. Now that I'm hopefully, you know, gainfully employed.

00:13:30.760 Okay. Go to work, do my job, work for some grid people, show up on time, do what I can, do the

00:13:36.280 best I can, go above and beyond. That simple for the pay I'll be getting. And it's a good paying

00:13:41.320 job, ladies and gentlemen. It is. I'm not dissing it at all. It's, you'll keep the lights on and get

00:13:46.200 my savings back in order and it'll help me again. It'll help me again. And I feel for the people out

00:13:51.960 there that are struggling too. You know, I will say, check out certain sites when it comes to

00:13:56.920 employment. What I can recommend is that we keep struggling. We keep going ahead. We keep going

00:14:03.880 further. We keep persevering, ladies and gentlemen. That's the positive thing I say today is that we

00:14:07.800 persevere. Now it took me a couple of weeks to get a phone call from some of these individuals,

00:14:12.680 but my resume was good to go. My experience was good to go. I was always honest with my employers.

00:14:17.560 I was honest with my interviewees, everything too. So keep that in mind too. There is light out

00:14:23.560 there somewhere, ladies and gentlemen. And we just can't give it up. You know what I mean?

00:14:29.240 We just can't give up on it right now. We've got to keep persevering regardless of how inflation is

00:14:33.000 going to keep fighting the good fight. The only thing I can recommend is that we watch our spending

00:14:38.760 when it comes to buying certain meats, buy fuel. Like I mentioned earlier, my wife did me a favor. 0.99

00:14:44.200 She spent $75 on filling up my truck. That's from half a tank. Wow. And now just the inflation itself

00:14:51.080 in gasoline alone, and not just here in Alberta, but in Ontario and about Provence on the East Coast,

00:14:55.880 and even in BC too. Ridiculous prices, ridiculous mandates, the cost of living is going up. Why? 0.91

00:15:01.720 Because there's no product coming in. There's no products going out. Just the government sitting

00:15:07.240 there churning the old money press saying, oh, we'll make this and we'll make that. And we'll create more

00:15:11.400 jobs, more government jobs, more ridiculous known use offices again, just to feed the guys of

00:15:19.320 progress and prosperity. Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram,

00:15:27.240 YouTube, and Podbean. Subscribe today and donate at KrustyCanuck.ca.

00:15:32.680 Yes, too. Back at 4.4% inflation. Feds off till 22nd November. Municipal elections go woke.

00:15:44.040 Like I said, they're off until 22nd November. So Mr. Trudeau will put the cabinet together again,

00:15:49.960 come the 26th and take another month off to fly around and all that. Now, I don't have any footage

00:15:54.200 of Justin being chastised by the Kamloops First Nations, but rightfully so. He's the one that 1.00

00:16:00.360 coordinated the whole, let's remember this, remember that day. And he went off and surf,

00:16:04.680 took his sweet time, you know, because of his vanity and his narcissism and all that good stuff.

00:16:10.200 I'm not going to dwell on that, but we're getting to a point now to, well, things are uncertain.

00:16:14.360 Like I said, my last episode and uncertainty, we can only be certain that we have to look after

00:16:19.480 our family and friends, the best of our abilities, ladies and gentlemen. Okay. I have insight in

00:16:23.720 what's going on in Ottawa. I don't have insight. Connections in parliament. I went out and gave

00:16:28.360 it a good call as a try. And next election, I will run again. Maybe provincial. I don't know.

00:16:33.720 We'll see. But federally, yes, I definitely will run again. I will throw my hat in the ring again

00:16:38.520 and run on the VCP banner. All right. I'm going to coordinate some kind of conference we have

00:16:43.160 to the VCP party members, try to update our website and have a profile for each candidate,

00:16:48.280 kind of like what the other federal parties do just to get things in the go. So you, my listeners

00:16:52.840 and fans alike out there and possible voters can get some insight on another party and other choices

00:16:57.800 you will have in the future. But I digress here too. I made a comment about the whole woke election.

00:17:04.040 Edmonton and Calgary just had their municipal elections, just like the rest of us here did too.

00:17:10.840 And they voted Amarjeet Sohi. He was the infrastructure and natural resources minister from 2015,

00:17:15.720 2018. And then he was the infrastructure minister, I think, until 2019 when he was defeated.

00:17:25.080 It's nothing racist to sit and disagree with anybody. It's not sexist to disagree with a

00:17:30.040 female leader. It's not racist to disagree with a man from a different origin. Now, I'm not going to

00:17:34.920 say people of color, even though I just said it. I find that term very, very condescending,

00:17:39.240 ladies and gentlemen. People of color, people of this, people of that. Why can't we just say people?

00:17:45.720 Okay. Yes. He's from, he's from India. Whoop-dee-doo. Does that matter? No. Can he do the job? Well, 1.00

00:17:51.640 we'll see. Okay. But every time we hear about a politician that gets elected and they, they're,

00:17:59.320 they're from this or they're from that, they always emphasize on where this person's from

00:18:04.200 or their gender. How can we can't emphasize on what this person can do?

00:18:08.440 Now, I don't agree with Mr. Amajit Sohi because he did make a comment about Canadian oil,

00:18:14.360 especially from living in a city that produces and refines Canadian oil. Okay. And

00:18:24.360 the lady in Calgary, I forget her name. I don't have a link to her. My apologies,

00:18:27.720 ladies and gentlemen. She is quite the climate activist. So both of them

00:18:31.560 are quite anti-oil when it comes to the bigger picture here. Okay. Now, I guess they really

00:18:39.160 haven't embraced the fact that it gets cold in Calgary during the winter months, just as much

00:18:43.560 as in Edmonton and in this area too of the province. And it's not your typical, uh, you know, uh, cold

00:18:49.640 that you get in Ontario or Quebec, you know, it's not a very, uh, you know, nice cold. It's a very,

00:18:56.760 very dry cold, you know, spine tingling cold. Nonetheless, or nevertheless, it is a bloody,

00:19:02.600 disgusting winter. All right. Now, both these individuals have thrown in their hats on climate 0.62

00:19:08.120 change and climate emergency and what have you, and how we have to stop the big climate bad bug

00:19:14.360 from getting us all right. So obviously they're not pro fossil fuels. Of course they want to bring

00:19:19.960 in invasions here. So any one of these politicians, it doesn't matter where they're from. Ladies and

00:19:25.000 gentlemen, it doesn't matter if they're black, white, pink, purple, they identify as this identify

00:19:29.400 as that we've all seen how this progress has affected the fossil fuel industry, our agriculture

00:19:36.040 industry and life as we see it. Look at the gas prices. Okay. Look at what it costs for you to fill

00:19:42.680 your small car or your compact vehicle or your van or your tractor trailer to haul goods to market.

00:19:50.040 It's gone through the roof to heat your home, to heat your business, to look after your workers,

00:19:55.800 look after your employees, to look after your employer. It's gone through the roof.

00:20:01.400 While the fat cats sit in Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal,

00:20:08.360 La Vie de Quebec and other bigger cities in this country, dictating to you and me, gas is bad.

00:20:17.720 So we're going to start burning wood again. We're going to start generating electricity.

00:20:22.280 What generates electricity? You either have coal fire that does it or fossil fuels to do it. And

00:20:27.160 you've got nuclear fuel that does a pretty good job too, which is cleaner in the long run.

00:20:31.400 So when I look at these leaders that are elected based on their gender and the color of their skin,

00:20:39.880 I don't find it progressive. Okay. I want to see what these leaders can do as we all should. It

00:20:46.760 doesn't faze me what gender this anyone is or what color somebody is. Can they do the job? And that 0.91

00:20:52.520 you've heard me talk about this numerous times before, ladies and gentlemen, the Cresting Egg podcast,

00:20:57.160 do they merit, do they have their cojones, the intestinal fortitude to follow through

00:21:03.800 and do what they must, which is to lead people.

00:21:06.520 Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.

00:21:18.280 As I mentioned earlier, to lead people too. Does it really matter? I don't care where Mr. Sohee's 0.99

00:21:27.240 from. I don't care where the lady in Calgary is from. I don't care where you were born, 0.99

00:21:30.520 what you do. Can you do it? Can you do it well? Can you do the job? Great. Who the hell cares what

00:21:35.720 color you are? Why is that still such a factor today? Oh, she's making history. She's the first 0.53

00:21:40.920 female to be elected in Calgary. Well, that's great. Great. Okay. But Mr. Nenshi was the mayor 0.50

00:21:48.520 11 years before her. Okay. And there's a guy with ridiculous woke mandates and ridiculous

00:21:55.640 BS towards Calgarians and fossil fuels in this country. Okay. And he just conveniently stepped 0.98

00:22:02.200 down. Right. He didn't put in another fight. So not only he's going to get his little pension from

00:22:07.560 the city, he's also going to get little tickles and slaps and little kisses from behind, little

00:22:12.520 reach arounds to get other perks and advantages too. Okay. And it doesn't matter about anyone's

00:22:17.560 ethnic origin. It's about the connections you make while you're in office. Okay. And what gets me too,

00:22:23.240 is that they both weighed in on what Mr. Ford said there a few days back about people coming here and

00:22:28.120 living off the dole. Okay. Now I don't agree with Mr. Doug Ford and some of his mandates,

00:22:33.560 because some of his mandates have been ridiculous and some of his advice has been ridiculous,

00:22:37.960 but they're putting him in the same category as what they did with Don Cherry a few years back. 0.85

00:22:43.160 Okay. He didn't pinpoint any group. He didn't pinpoint any culture. He didn't pinpoint

00:22:47.800 any race or any gender. He just said people. Okay. So let's clear that up right now. Now,

00:22:53.480 regardless of how brash or how upfront he was with that statement. Okay. He just said people. Okay.

00:23:00.200 Now my wife and I, we've been through economic tribulations. We've had some hard times this past

00:23:07.080 year. I have friends in my life and some family members who have had one hell of a go

00:23:13.560 and they never took the CERB or the CBA or went on welfare and rightfully so that's their choice.

00:23:19.640 And I'm not condemning anybody who needs welfare, who needed the CERB or the CBA who needed that help.

00:23:24.760 Okay. But when you actually look at that statement that Mr. Ford promoted,

00:23:31.160 okay, is about people that live off it and thrive off it and expect it. And it has nothing to do with

00:23:36.760 color, race, religion, gender identity. If you're a sci-fi fan or not, it's a simple fact of people

00:23:43.640 taking advantage of a system that's supposed to help people. Okay. Help people get ahead,

00:23:50.200 not rely on getting ahead. You know what I mean? And I'm not against welfare recipients. I'm not

00:23:57.160 against people that use the CERB or the CBA. Okay. If you need it, you need it. Go ahead and do it.

00:24:01.400 You know, times were tough. Okay. I actually flirt with the idea of getting the CERB one way or the

00:24:07.480 other too, but no, I didn't do it. Okay. Because somewhere in our little lives, those little handouts

00:24:14.360 have the repercussions one way or the other. Okay. But I went to school and I knew people

00:24:21.560 that sat on welfare for a long period of time. And I'm not talking six months. I'm talking about

00:24:27.080 a year, two years. In some cases, some of those individuals were on the dole for four and a half,

00:24:32.040 five years because they didn't give a royal hoot about what they wanted to do. Oh, as long as I'm

00:24:38.440 doing this, I can get this check once a month. As long as I'm doing this, I can get this perk and this

00:24:42.280 privilege, blah, blah, blah, blah, slap and tickle, slap and tickle who the F cares. Okay.

00:24:48.440 And I'm pretty sure that Mr. Ford was referring to individuals that do that. He didn't refer to any

00:24:53.160 color, didn't refer to any group or any marginalized or minority or whatever fictional term that bringing

00:24:59.720 and throwing in our faces. Okay. Because I have worked for immigrants in my life and I know how hard

00:25:05.880 people work, but every society has their individuals that don't want to give and want to take.

00:25:12.360 It doesn't matter what color or creed you are or gender, right? There are people out there that

00:25:16.600 take advantage of that and make it bad for everybody else because we still live in a society full of

00:25:22.600 optics. We don't look at the foundation of things still. We're still worried about how the things look

00:25:27.960 and how they move around and how they smell and whether they fart pixie dust or not. Yay.

00:25:32.280 We're guilty of that, but we have to start being a little more critical when it comes to what people

00:25:39.220 are saying, not criticize everything they say, but let's look at the statement and try to get the

00:25:44.480 real context as we should. Ladies and gentlemen, we're supposed to be functioning adults here.

00:25:49.440 And of course the media gets a hold of it and just takes it apart and pinpoints and pricks.

00:25:53.440 Oh my God, how dare you? There's so much racism out there. Bullshit. There isn't.

00:25:59.580 There's a lot of professional victims, not a lot of bigots.

00:26:15.340 And as I promised last episode, ladies and gentlemen, we are also going to have a recipient of the... 0.99

00:26:27.340 The Canadian Polar Vortex of Bullshit. 0.97

00:26:32.400 That's right. And after considering it for the past few days and looking around and looking at some 0.99

00:26:37.440 news stories, some articles I've seen online and what I have talked to with friends and family, 0.99

00:26:44.360 the polar vortex of bullshit will go to none other than... 0.99

00:26:49.840 Wait for it. 1.00

00:26:51.740 Wait for it.

00:26:54.280 None other than...

00:26:56.400 Cancel Culture.

00:26:58.320 That's right, ladies and gentlemen.

00:26:59.560 Cancel Culture.

00:27:00.340 That's right.

00:27:02.160 Every time you turn around, there's always somebody who's upset or pissed off or feelings get hurt or butt hurt

00:27:07.980 or they want to pick their nose with someone else's finger, always crying about how this person offended me

00:27:13.560 and that person offended me.

00:27:15.500 So, the award of...

00:27:18.340 You know what I mean.

00:27:21.400 The award of... 1.00

00:27:23.860 The Canadian Polar Vortex of Bullshit. 1.00

00:27:28.640 Goes to none other than Cancel Culture. 0.99

00:27:32.720 So, every person out there that sits on their hands and screams and cringes and loses their mind over an article,

00:27:41.740 over a word, a statement, a gesture.

00:27:45.080 I don't care how old you are. 0.76

00:27:46.680 I don't care what gender you are, how you identify, or what you do when you wake up in the morning. 0.97

00:27:51.740 I don't care if you scratch your left hand, your right hand, pick your nose with your finger or someone else's finger. 1.00

00:27:58.360 You really suck. 1.00

00:28:01.300 We'll just leave it at that, ladies and gentlemen. 1.00

00:28:03.340 You know, we'll just leave it at that.

00:28:06.540 It's just ridiculous how much cancel culture out there is hurting people.

00:28:11.220 Everything from comedians, everything from politicians, everything from people that have their own opinion.

00:28:16.840 And, uh, just, you know, we can do better than that.

00:28:20.420 You know, you want to cancel something, cancel a real fascist. 0.54

00:28:24.660 Cancel a real communist.

00:28:26.380 Cancel a politician that constantly wants to take your money and lie to you. 0.99

00:28:31.340 Okay?

00:28:31.960 That's the thing.

00:28:33.260 Anyway, this has been another segment of... 0.99

00:28:36.840 The Canadian Polar Vortex of Bullshit. 0.99

00:28:42.020 Brought to you by Cancel Culture and all that and more. 0.99

00:28:45.980 I'll be right back after this.

00:29:32.280 You can find the links in my description as per, too.

00:29:35.860 Now, as we wait for the federal parliament to get their act in order to get back to work, um, I've mentioned this.

00:29:44.460 Well, I've asked this question before, too.

00:29:46.460 What's going to happen with online censorship?

00:29:49.740 Now, Spencer Fernando, independent journalist, quite the intellect.

00:29:53.340 I've tried to get him onto a live stream a few times there.

00:29:56.760 Uh, but he's wrote a pretty good article in regards to how independent media has become the actual healthy opposition towards our sitting government, too.

00:30:06.820 And, um, I'm not going to read the whole thing verbatim.

00:30:09.520 Uh, that's not my place to do it.

00:30:10.840 But I'll leave a link to the article.

00:30:14.000 Excuse me.

00:30:14.660 I'll leave a link to the article in the description there.

00:30:17.620 And I will read a few words out of it.

00:30:20.180 How, uh, I'll summer, uh, paraphrase it.

00:30:22.780 Sorry.

00:30:23.600 Independent media has become the real opposition to the government.

00:30:26.400 And he wrote this a couple of days ago.

00:30:28.000 Uh, with the main opposition party torn between actually being conservative or embracing the liberal worldview, the defense of free speech, individual rights, and smaller government is being led by independent media in Canada.

00:30:39.700 Right?

00:30:40.820 Um, there's just a lot of stuff in here about the whole woke mandates in regards to vaccines and how people should get their shots and all this.

00:30:48.240 And I'll say this again, ladies and gentlemen, I don't care.

00:30:50.840 You want, you want a vaccine, get a vaccine.

00:30:52.480 You don't want a vaccine.

00:30:53.180 You don't have to.

00:30:53.740 So it's just, it's getting to a point where we have to walk in certain line for everyone.

00:30:59.200 Yeah.

00:30:59.680 Yes.

00:31:00.060 You go back to this line.

00:31:00.860 You show your papers.

00:31:01.560 You don't get on the bus.

00:31:02.660 You're bold.

00:31:03.220 Right.

00:31:04.340 How that works.

00:31:05.240 Right.

00:31:06.480 Uh, routers called one of the strictest mandates in the world.

00:31:09.120 Uh, Justin Trudeau imposing a draconian vaccine mandate and vaccine passport on the nation.

00:31:13.800 Uh, quote unquote, Canada will place unvaccinated federal employees on unpaid leave and require, uh, 19 shots for air, train and ship passengers.

00:31:22.200 Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Wednesday, as he unveiled one of the world's strictest vaccine mandate policies, federal employees will be required to declare their full vaccination status through online portal by 29th of October.

00:31:33.740 Workers and passengers age 12 and older on trains, planes, and marine transport operate domestically, which are federally regulated, must show they have been inoculated by the 30th of October.

00:31:43.040 So it's a really strict policy.

00:31:46.520 So, um, it's, it's, it's, it's ridiculous where this is going, ladies and gentlemen, and I'll read more.

00:31:52.420 Um, I'll let you, uh, my viewers and deciders do, uh, my viewers and readers alike, uh, decide, uh, but opposition to the liberal worldview question mark, the worldview expressed by Justin Trudeau, liberal party NDP, and much of the established media can be summed up this way.

00:32:09.160 Government is good.

00:32:11.400 Individual freedom is dangerous.

00:32:13.180 Canadians must feel guilty for the past.

00:32:15.580 We must restrict our own wealth and economic growth to save the planet.

00:32:20.420 Restricting freedom is justified in the name of safety.

00:32:24.000 Higher immigration is always good.

00:32:25.560 Free speech should be limited and reduced.

00:32:28.440 Demonizing law-abiding gun owners is preferable to focusing on gang problems. 0.65

00:32:33.680 Higher government spending is good.

00:32:35.560 And debt and deficits are no concern, right?

00:32:39.940 Now, and, uh, there are some people who actually hold those opinions very dear to their heart, rightfully so.

00:32:45.220 You can hold the opinion, but the actual action is, uh, different.

00:32:49.220 But I'll leave this, uh, link in the description for you as all to read and decide for yourselves, ladies and gentlemen.

00:32:55.720 And, uh, hats off to Mr. Spencer Fernando for writing such a great article too.

00:32:59.920 I'll leave a link to his work as well.

00:33:01.720 Quite the intellect, quite, uh, the brilliant individual, ladies and gentlemen, too.

00:33:07.060 Now, my assessment is this, okay?

00:33:10.340 We've got the inflation going up.

00:33:12.540 People are still worrying about the woke mandates and the people that we hire to lead us are not leading.

00:33:22.100 They're not leading.

00:33:23.360 So what do you do in these circumstances here?

00:33:27.240 Go out with our pitchforks and our torches and go to the streets like we're hunting down Frankenstein?

00:33:31.700 Maybe we should.

00:33:33.240 Maybe we should.

00:33:33.920 I know our friends in Australia are doing that.

00:33:35.880 Some of our friends in Britain and in France and Germany are doing that.

00:33:38.800 And some of our friends in the States are doing that.

00:33:41.340 And there are, there are freedom fighters here in Canada that are stating it too.

00:33:44.860 But there's a lot of infighting I'm seeing with certain groups when it comes to who's saying this and who's saying that and who's making money, who's not making money.

00:33:51.180 Whatever, you know, I, for one, actually grew up with a lot of that Canadian arrogance where, um, my parents, my parents' generation would sit there and say, well, we're Canadians.

00:34:01.680 We don't need this.

00:34:02.300 Or we're Canadians.

00:34:03.200 We got this.

00:34:04.040 Or we're Canadians.

00:34:04.660 We got that.

00:34:05.800 That's great.

00:34:07.280 And all those freedoms are going to be compromised.

00:34:09.320 The more and more we talk about it, we we've seen it on television.

00:34:13.240 We've seen it.

00:34:14.080 Uh, we've seen it in a lot of mainstream media and how a lot of these freedoms being compromised.

00:34:19.720 They've, they've tabled bills in the house of commons, C10, C36, C16, you know, C21.

00:34:30.940 And what's being done about it?

00:34:32.940 What can we do about it other than getting violent and retaliation?

00:34:36.920 I don't want it to come to that, ladies and gentlemen, and neither do you, but who knows what to say?

00:34:42.880 Who knows what lies ahead?

00:34:45.560 Okay.

00:34:46.120 Like I said, my last episode, uncertainty, I'm still uncertain.

00:34:50.480 But I'm trying to keep a positive look at this.

00:34:53.220 I'm trying to keep the old chin up, the old British adage, of course, and trying to persevere the best of our abilities.

00:35:00.820 And that's what we should do. 0.88

00:35:02.700 So still ask the tough questions, still ask the hard questions and put these clowns on the spot as they should be. 0.96

00:35:09.020 Okay. 0.75

00:35:09.480 And if they fail to answer you, well, obviously they're not as genuine as they said.

00:35:13.600 It's that simple.

00:35:16.060 Right.

00:35:16.560 How else do we get the hard answers?

00:35:19.640 I don't want to see violence.

00:35:20.800 I'm not encouraging violence in any means, but where are these options going, ladies and gentlemen?

00:35:27.980 What options do we have left?

00:35:31.140 Well, it's getting more difficult for people to get ahead.

00:35:34.620 It's getting more difficult for people to put food on their table, to get their bills paid.

00:35:38.740 I, for one, lost a good chunk of my savings because of the past year and a half.

00:35:42.620 And I have friends of mine, acquaintances that I served with that have lost a good chunk of their savings too.

00:35:49.340 So that's the thing.

00:35:52.380 Well, we shall overcome.

00:35:54.680 And we got to keep it that simple.

00:35:57.720 And keep fighting for the light at the end of this manufactured darkness.

00:36:01.760 Anyway, ladies and gentlemen, I have been Krusty Canuck on this 20th of October, 2021.

00:36:07.100 This will be my last episode for a little while.

00:36:10.040 Like I say, I'll be starting my new job.

00:36:11.640 So basically, I'll be a 10-day shift.

00:36:14.620 10 days on, 4 days off.

00:36:16.100 10 days on, 4 days off.

00:36:17.700 So my episodes will be sporadic.

00:36:20.620 So hopefully in the next 10 days, I'll have a new episode for you or something.

00:36:24.840 But please pay attention to my community page on YouTube and my update pages on Facebook.

00:36:30.220 And please consider following me on Rumble, Brighteen, and Wimkin too, respectively.

00:36:36.960 I try to load the videos and my stories up there as much as I can.

00:36:41.840 I updated my Patreon page too.

00:36:43.660 So I'll leave links in the description for you to follow if you choose so, ladies and

00:36:46.420 gentlemen.

00:36:47.100 And please take advantage of the $5 and $10 entry to win yourself a t-shirt and or mug.

00:36:54.160 Please, every little bit helps, ladies and gentlemen.

00:36:56.360 If I can get it consistent.

00:36:57.380 I have about 8,000 subscribers on my YouTube channel.

00:37:00.580 And if I was to receive, let's say, $1 or $2 from at least half of those individuals,

00:37:05.800 wow, I would be on to something fantastic.

00:37:09.180 But needless to say, ladies and gentlemen, I'm not doing this to get rich.

00:37:11.500 I'd like to make this a full-time commitment.

00:37:13.560 But that's up to you, my listeners and fans and watchers alike.

00:37:17.040 So please consider today donating what you can, keep it consistent, and help us independent

00:37:23.260 folk get our words and knowledge out there for you, the listener, to enjoy and to ponder.

00:37:29.740 Like I said, ladies and gentlemen, I have been Krusty Canuck on this beautiful 20th of October,

00:37:34.540 2021.

00:37:35.600 Halloween is on the way.

00:37:37.080 So get yourself all your chocolates and your lollies and all those good things for the kids.

00:37:42.420 Carve a pumpkin or two.

00:37:44.160 And let's keep reassuring ourselves that things are going to be okay, and we can overcome this

00:37:48.720 by asking the hard questions and standing our ground firmly as we should.

00:37:53.360 Like I said, ladies and gentlemen, look after your friends and loved ones.

00:37:55.380 Do the best you can with what you've got.

00:37:58.100 And don't hesitate to give a neighbor a hand, a loved one a hand, or even a total stranger a hand with something.

00:38:03.240 All right, because like I always say, humanity and merit wins the day.

00:38:08.640 And I'll see you next time on the podcast.

00:38:10.640 Take care and all the best.
