Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. It's a beautiful 6th of December 2022.
00:00:05.280
Coming up with the Christy Knek podcast, episode 196.
00:00:08.280
Billions wasted for your safety or someone else's pocket.
00:00:12.300
Yes, the Auditor General of Canada has brought to terms that billions upon billions were wasted over the pandemic.
00:00:19.700
People receiving funds that didn't really need it.
00:00:22.400
All that more come out in the show. Please stick around.
00:00:51.220
From Western Canada, this is the Christy Knek podcast, a Canadian veteran's point of view.
00:00:57.920
On political, social, economic issues, and life.
00:01:04.300
That's right, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the show.
00:01:06.220
Billions wasted for your safety or someone else's pocket.
00:01:08.600
Yes, the Auditor General has said today in the mainstream media that a lot of money, well, gone missing.
00:01:20.980
And something about $4.6 billion given to people that didn't really need it.
00:01:32.900
And if you like and hear what you see, please click like, subscribe, share this stuff all over your social media platform.
00:01:38.600
And let us independent podcasters get ahead with the algorithm.
00:01:46.220
I got up, had a coffee with my wife before she went to work.
00:01:49.760
And we were watching it on the news and we were just kind of flabbergasted.
00:01:55.520
But then again, it wasn't really a big surprise either though, ladies and gentlemen.
00:01:59.440
Because we knew when this pandemic hit, there was going to have to be some government help one way or the other.
00:02:05.680
But I'm going to paraphrase everything that I've seen today.
00:02:09.120
And I'm just basically going to tell it like it is.
00:02:14.560
So, okay, there was a con in regards to people closing their businesses, not being able to move around.
00:02:24.940
How many pastors in Alberta and Ontario and New Brunswick were locked up because they held religious services?
00:02:31.320
How many people were thrown off hockey rinks or kicked out of arenas over, you know, the whole mask issue?
00:02:37.360
How many people were not allowed to see their loved ones or hang out with their loved ones because of safety?
00:02:44.560
And how many of these bureaucrats and administrators and know-it-alls were out and about traveling around at their own leisure?
00:02:53.940
So, it's really not a surprise that the Auditor General come to that conclusion that billions were wasted.
00:03:02.240
In a moment here, I'm going to put up a video of pure quality that I've been in Parliament discussing it with, of course, the opposition.
00:03:09.080
You know, with the Liberals and Conservatives back and forth, banter, banter, banter.
00:03:14.440
And I want you, my wonderful audience out there, to decide for yourselves, which it is.
00:03:19.560
Now, personally, I think it was a con to begin with.
00:03:22.860
The moment any time a government steps in and says, here, we'll give you money for this.
00:03:32.720
Unless you're awarded said monies or, you know, you're given said monies because of pain and suffering, like Mr. Omer Kadir, you know, $10.5 million because the pain and suffering he endured in Gitmo for being a little fucking terrorist.
00:03:47.420
And individuals that have been sued or wrongfully accused of whatever, that I can understand.
00:03:53.860
And I personally know individuals that took the CERB and SEVA to look after their businesses and to look after their well-being during the lockdowns.
00:04:05.520
Now, I'm not saying anyone who needs help should not get it.
00:04:09.920
So, you know, I believe in welfare to a point where if you needed a hand to get yourself up out of trouble, to get yourself focused on something, and to go out in the world and do better for yourself, I can understand certain government programs that will help you do that.
00:04:29.200
But we've also, one way or the other, I've actually heard people brag about not going back to work once their businesses were opened because they've got these handouts, they've got these payments, they're taking home all this tax-free, apparently, cash.
00:04:45.320
Why should I go to work when I'm making this much money?
00:04:49.980
So one could sit and decide and think for a second, hmm, was this an experiment maybe?
00:04:56.960
Because every time I turn around on my Facebook page, I'm seeing all these ads for UBI, Universal Basic Income.
00:05:07.240
Here, here's an extra $100, extra $200, $300 or $400, $500, extra a month.
00:05:19.720
In order for me to make $220, I have to work 10 hours or more.
00:05:25.040
In order for me to make that much money in a week, I have to work five days straight.
00:05:32.060
That's, you know, that's after I take off the taxes and everything, which is roughly a third of what I earn.
00:05:37.340
Not to mention a third of my pension comes off in taxes, too.
00:05:42.600
And when someone's bragging about the free money they get all the time, you kind of sit there and go, hmm, okay, buddy.
00:05:53.780
Now, once again, let me reiterate, ladies and gentlemen, I am not condemning anybody who needed that service during those two years.
00:06:00.300
I'm not condemning anybody at all, especially young families, young men and women that went without work, that lost their job.
00:06:07.940
Individuals that were punted because of certain issues.
00:06:14.300
But I don't feel bad for the individuals that might have to give it back.
00:06:18.520
And as sure as I don't feel bad for the individuals that didn't need it but took the hand out anyway.
00:06:32.420
And follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gab, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.

00:06:59.200
I have to load some more on Rumble anyway, but that's where you can find me.
00:07:03.140
I also update this page on YouTube and on Facebook, respectively.
00:07:08.300
So if you like and hear what you see, please click like, subscribe, and comment.
00:07:10.860
And if you're on YouTube, please click that little bell for notifications to let you know that I got new content on its way or let you know what I'm doing, all that good stuff.
00:07:18.420
And if you want to reach out to me, you can find all the other information there in the description, too, where you can donate and all that good stuff.
00:07:23.880
And if you want to write me a letter or send me some stuff, my mailing address is in the description as well, too, there, ladies and gentlemen.
00:07:33.400
Anyhow, carrying on again with the whole billions.
00:07:44.400
I'll say again, I don't really, I'm not judging anybody who needed it.
00:07:48.120
But, you know, my wife and I, we actually sat and talked about, do we need this?
00:07:57.580
But I've also had harassment from CRA in regards to my filing and how come I didn't file this and file that.
00:08:03.940
And I more or less told him, so I'm not filing because Justin likes to spend our money, which he did.
00:08:10.880
He spent all of our money on things, not to mention what's going on in Ukraine
00:08:15.180
and so-called roads for other nations and other little perks and privileges that he's given his buddies in Ottawa, right?
00:08:24.660
So, like I said, I'm going to queue up this video and you'll see a good banter back and forth in regards to what Pierre Paulyevre says
00:08:32.720
and what the ministers have said in retort to regards of all this money going away, too.
00:08:39.900
Now, when I sat and I watched that this morning on CTV, I was kind of surprised, but then I wasn't surprised, right?
00:08:48.840
$4.6 billion gone to people that didn't deserve it, that didn't need it, basically, okay?
00:08:56.760
And there's the excuses back and forth of who needed it, who didn't need it.
00:09:00.980
Oh, we didn't vet properly or we didn't vet this or check this out.
00:09:04.300
Well, you should have checked it out because I don't buy that shit.
00:09:07.480
Because if you can nail 280 people or more and close their bank accounts in regards to Freedom Convoy,
00:09:16.520
then I'm pretty sure you can find the name and the addresses of the people that you paid, right?
00:09:26.060
Maybe it's, I'm just taking a wild guess here, but I'm pretty sure if you can nail that many people
00:09:32.200
and freeze their bank accounts, I'm pretty sure you can find the individuals that receive said payments
00:09:38.640
that didn't need it and politely ask them to give it back, huh?
00:09:43.800
Anyway, I'll keep this video here for you for Paulyev here, Mr. Paulyev discussing the whole thing
00:09:54.840
Having wasted massive sums over the last several years, according to the Auditor General,
00:10:00.960
there is $4 billion of known waste, another $27 billion of suspected waste.
00:10:07.120
There is $60 million of spending that's under criminal investigation.
00:10:11.920
There were 190,000 people who quit their jobs and therefore were not eligible to receive
00:10:20.660
They even sent the CERB to 1,500 prisoners, Mr. Speaker.
00:10:25.340
Why did the government waste so much and make Canadians pay the price?
00:10:32.940
Mr. Speaker, the Auditor General found very clearly that CERB and our individual benefits
00:10:37.720
achieve their intended goals of getting money to Canadians quickly, of allowing Canadians to stay
00:10:41.820
whole safely, and avoiding severe social and economic consequences.
00:10:45.160
We, as a parliament, approved an attestation-based approach.
00:10:48.780
We knew from the beginning there would be post-payment verification.
00:10:51.480
We are working methodically through that, Mr. Speaker, and I can assure all Canadians that
00:10:58.860
Well, we already knew that the government paid billions of dollars in wage subsidies to
00:11:04.340
profitable corporations that were able to pay out dividends to their wealthy executives.
00:11:10.700
They also paid $15 billion to companies that did not have a significant revenue drop, and
00:11:17.820
so they were able to pocket the cash at the expense of the Canadian people.
00:11:22.140
This is the same government that gave money to Loblaws, to other wealthy corporations, always
00:11:30.640
Why do they always take from the have-nots and give to the have-yachts?
00:11:42.020
Interesting how that worked out, especially for the individuals at Loblaws and Bombardier
00:11:49.740
Loblaws received, I think, what, four years ago $12 million or $15 million for their so-called
00:11:55.160
energy-efficient freezer that didn't put nasty free on in the atmosphere.
00:12:00.500
And Irving had their loans forgiven, as well as Bombardier being bailed out.
00:12:06.080
It seems like the company is always being bailed out by every government every 10 or 15 years,
00:12:09.940
because they just can't keep their shit together.
00:12:14.220
I don't have to put any facts or figures up there.
00:12:15.980
It's in the news in regards to how many corporate bigwigs got dividends and payouts.
00:12:21.060
I think the Bank of Canada received, their employees received a few extra bonuses too,
00:12:34.700
Just come next fiscal year, we'll have to return more files and more paperwork in.
00:12:39.600
Yes, we have to prove and validate you're not making too much money.
00:12:43.060
Because if you're making too much money, you've got to pay the national debt.
00:12:46.700
Because then elected officials, of course, you know, can just give it away to whoever the fuck they want.
00:12:58.960
Well, because you take enough off my pay every two weeks and every month when I get my pension and my paychecks.
00:13:07.800
And I've mentioned before in this show, ladies and gentlemen, it's roughly around $1,400 to $1,600 and more a month that goes off in taxes.
00:13:17.360
Now, that opposition minister there, the lady with the glasses, I'll put another video up here.
00:13:23.660
But I remember seeing her on CTV question period.
00:13:27.860
And she basically bragged about how not letting people have EI who lost their jobs in regards to said jibby jab.
00:13:34.520
So she more or less said, no EI for you if you don't get this.
00:13:38.880
And yet, these are the same politicians that talked about democracy and fairness and equality and equity and inclusivity and being enclosed up and being fair.
00:13:50.440
So the more and more we dig into this story, the more and more the billions are being wasted, how fair were they really?
00:14:00.840
Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.
00:14:11.440
Once again, ladies and gentlemen, looking here to see, please click like and subscribe and share this content all over your social media platforms.
00:14:21.000
Help a guy like me out, a little independent podcaster, get out there and tell the world.
00:14:26.640
Now, a little update there to Miss Rachel Gilmore, the reporter from Global TV,
00:14:31.200
who is at the Carleton University Conference there with other female journalists and a handful of male journalists talking in regards to online hate and everything.
00:14:41.340
I don't have the clip here from Twitter, but if you are following her on Twitter,
00:14:44.540
she basically put a video up displacing how scared she is and how she's tired of all the hatred.
00:14:50.280
And because she's a woman and she's a female and she's a journalist and all this online hate and misogyny.
00:14:56.640
I'm going to reiterate what I said in yesterday's episode too, ladies and gentlemen.
00:15:01.480
The majority of Canadians that I know don't really care if you're male or female.
00:15:12.200
They don't care about what you put in your mouth or in your nostrils or what kind of makeup you wear or what kind of leather gear you wear or whatever you do.
00:15:18.720
They don't care if you play hockey or mud wrestle.
00:15:21.540
What they care about is that when you read a story or they're presented a story or a news item,
00:15:26.840
that you as the journalist and the writer and the composer and the creator make a sound effort to be legitimate.
00:15:37.900
I, for one, I'm getting really, really tired of hearing about this victimhood.
00:15:43.940
Oh, it's because we're this or because we're that.
00:15:48.060
It's because you're displaying incompetence every time you hand something in.
00:15:59.300
And then you have to turn around and discuss the whole freedom of the press.
00:16:05.000
We have a government in this country that wants to annihilate their freedom of the press with Bill C-11.
00:16:11.060
So while you're on TikTok and Twitter and other social feeds screaming about your pain and your victimhood,
00:16:18.600
you're basically being subsidized by a government that wants to stifle people like me,
00:16:25.220
my neighbors, my friends, ex-soldiers, ex-cops, and people like you.
00:16:35.860
There's a bigger picture here going on rather than you having to read some mean tweets or death threats.
00:16:43.240
but I'll tell you the first couple of years when I started this show, this podcast,
00:16:46.320
building it to where it is now with the time and resources I had.
00:16:54.000
Now, mind you, it didn't warrant me calling the police and say,
00:17:08.600
I'm still here talking to a camera, talking to you wonderful people out there,
00:17:12.940
speaking to a microphone with my little soundboard and little graphics here,
00:17:27.120
That's why we say, if you like and hear what you see,
00:17:31.440
click, like, and subscribe and give us a comment.
00:17:33.260
If you don't agree with what I'm saying, you can comment all the same.
00:17:38.440
I'm not going to cry to the police and the popo because someone hurt my feelings.
00:17:43.280
I'm going to stand my ground as an adult and speak my mind.
00:17:50.360
If you don't want to listen to me, you don't have to.
00:18:02.480
We were not taught how to deal with this stuff as children?
00:18:07.360
You are a seasoned professional and you're hot.
00:18:11.220
Or you're a seasoned professional and you represent this group.
00:18:16.280
Or you represent this ideology or that ideology.
00:18:41.760
And everyone associated with Mills Gilmore, you're not victims either.
00:18:51.220
And follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gab, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.
00:19:01.320
And we're carrying on again with the whole billions being wasted.
00:19:06.880
Billions wasted for your safety or someone's pocket.
00:19:13.720
Safe to assume that the money just went missing because of the pandemic.
00:19:22.840
All those bad, bad Russians out there causing the price of oil to go skyrocketing through the roof.
00:19:28.360
It's because of idiocy and something that's pre-planned too.
00:19:31.820
Like I said earlier in the show, we're seeing a lot of UBI adverts come and go.
00:19:36.800
We're seeing a lot of UBI stuff come and go here.
00:19:52.240
Every time we file, every time we pay a few extra taxes, a couple of dollars taken off here,
00:19:56.380
a few more dollars taken off there, you know, a little more incentive taken here and rammed
00:20:15.000
But I'm not paying a damn cent and neither should you, ladies and gentlemen.
00:20:22.260
It's been hard enough in this country, especially out here in the West, for individuals to get
00:20:28.040
And considering it's the Christmas season, people want to have a good Christmas.
00:20:32.300
People want to have a good holiday and sit with family and friends, have a good meal,
00:20:35.400
have a few drinks and some laughs and see some relatives they haven't seen in a very,
00:20:43.440
The last time I sat with my family in Ontario was in 2016 when my mother passed away.
00:20:52.860
That was a lot of revelations and a lot of pain, a lot of memories and a lot of smiles
00:20:58.960
So that's the last time I got to see my immediate family was in 2016.
00:21:02.920
I get to see them via here when I do my Zoom meetings or certain Facebook chats, but I don't
00:21:09.820
get to sit in the house of my sisters, have a drink, or sit with my brother-in-law and
00:21:18.060
You know, it's kind of a tradition to have a few beers and watch some World Juniors.
00:21:20.820
It's just a Canadian tradition, but I don't have that.
00:21:24.180
But I'm thankful that I have a great wife and I'm thankful that I have some great friends
00:21:33.820
I put up a lot of garbage and she puts up a lot of garbage, but we're still together
00:21:40.700
And I'm very, very thankful of that, ladies and gentlemen.
00:21:42.840
And I'm thankful that I still live in a country where I can speak my mind via this microphone
00:21:46.740
and via your wonderful presence here on the internet world in cyber land, wherever it may
00:21:53.640
be, whether you're working, whether you're at home.
00:21:56.520
You know, I'm very, very thankful that I have an audience like you out there that's backing
00:22:02.100
So please click, like, subscribe, share this content all around.
00:22:05.520
And if you want to donate, please consider donating.
00:22:09.040
You don't have to give me hundreds of thousands of dollars.
00:22:12.160
That would be nice in a perfect world, but I'm not expecting you to give what you can.
00:22:16.560
And if you don't want to give to me, then give to a local charity if you can there to
00:22:21.720
Anyway, carrying on again with more of the whole billions wasted for your safety or of
00:22:27.340
And we both know too, it's got to be someone's pocket.
00:22:29.700
You don't just misplace $4.6 billion or $15.5 million or $15 billion or $60 million that
00:22:39.460
were stolen based on Mr. Paul the Ed statement there too.
00:22:43.880
But we're going to have to be a little more finite and be intricate and look at every
00:22:53.100
All this money to give away, all this money to invest.
00:22:56.340
And there was also a rumbling too that something like 13 million vaccines went missing too.
00:23:16.860
But this, this, it just goes to proof that there's so much irresponsibility and unaccountability
00:23:27.360
Unaccountable, finger wagging, finger pointing.
00:23:30.560
But I call into question the buffoonery and the idiocy of these people.
00:23:38.740
I call in the buffoonery and the arrogance where they feel they don't have to explain
00:23:44.800
And yet a guy like me or a person like you or the lady down the road or the guy up here,
00:23:49.480
they have to justify why they said something against this or why they don't agree with that.
00:23:56.800
So the whole do as we say, don't as we do mantra is still alive and well, ladies and gentlemen.
00:24:05.020
We're not little eight-year-old kids who have to listen to our math teachers and put up with that BS.
00:24:10.800
We're full-functioning adults that go to work, pay our bills, and we want our liberty,
00:24:21.560
Anyhow, ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to leave it at that.
00:24:32.600
But the best thing I can say to you right now, ladies and gentlemen,
00:24:34.520
is that do what we can to help each other out in these trying times.
00:24:42.880
Give a few extra little bucks to the food bank or a few extra canned goods.
00:24:45.880
Whatever you can do to help each other, your neighbors out, your friends out.
00:24:50.120
Lace some salt or lay some sand down on some of the nasty pathways
00:24:54.180
so someone doesn't wipe out and hurt themselves.
00:24:58.900
