Transcript

00:00:00.760 Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.
00:00:03.700 Welcome to the Crusting Up podcast, episode 198.
00:00:07.880 Looking forward to 2023 on this beautiful December 31st, 2022.
00:00:12.240 Yes, that's right. New Year's Eve 2022 has been complicated.
00:00:16.440 Is 2023 going to be any easier? Who knows? Time will tell.
00:00:19.940 All that and more. Please stick around.
00:00:22.540 Listener and viewer discretion is advised.
00:00:24.240 I do swear and I tend to smoke cigarettes.
00:00:26.860 See you in a bit.
00:00:30.000 Hit it, sweetheart.
00:00:32.760 Because I am hard, you will not like me.
00:00:35.780 Yes, sir.
00:00:39.200 There is no racial bigotry here.
00:00:44.080 There you are always going to work.
00:00:48.080 From Western Canada, this is the Crusty Canuck podcast.
00:00:52.820 A Canadian veteran's point of view.
00:00:55.060 On political, social, economic issues and life.
00:00:58.680 Here's Crusty.
00:01:01.680 That's right, ladies and gentlemen.
00:01:02.880 Welcome to another episode of the Crusting Up podcast, episode 198.
00:01:05.700 Looking forward to 2023 because 2022 was such a farce.
00:01:10.940 I'm your host, Crusty Canuck, on this beautiful New Year's Eve 2022.
00:01:15.520 I hope you all had a good Christmas.
00:01:17.560 Got your bellies full of turkey and other festive meats.
00:01:20.240 While it's still legal in this country, who knows what's going on exactly.
00:01:24.880 But I'll tell you, I had my share of a nice prime rib that my wife and I bought.
00:01:29.700 Had a good sit-down meal and just really enjoyed each other's company.
00:01:33.460 And I hope all of you had a great, wonderful Christmas, too.
00:01:36.460 I was working through the Christmas, well, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.
00:01:40.220 It was just my work cycle.
00:01:41.760 But to those individuals that weren't working and got to spend time with their families and loved ones, well done.
00:01:46.600 Give yourselves a round of applause there for that.
00:01:48.580 And a special thank you to my new fans and my new subscribers out there.
00:01:52.840 Thank you.
00:01:53.200 Another round of applause for you.
00:01:54.900 And just a reminder, ladies and gentlemen, if you like and hear what you see, please click like and subscribe.
00:01:58.660 Share this content all over your social media platforms.
00:02:01.520 Let's keep getting Canadian content, especially Canadian content, out there to the wider North American audiences.
00:02:08.860 And it takes people like you to make that happen, too, ladies and gentlemen.
00:02:11.540 So as I was saying, looking forward to 2023, well, based on the actions of some of our politicians this past year and based on some of the buffoonery that was presented to us by our leadership beginning in January, I'll give a little review here.
00:02:29.720 I don't have to tell you all how to suck eggs and let's look back at this year.
00:02:34.480 But some important events that has happened in the Internet world and in the news world and in the world at large.
00:02:42.600 Canada had a big trucker convoy in January.
00:02:46.220 A lot of truckers got sick and tired of the mandates, went to Ottawa, peacefully protested.
00:02:51.120 And through those actions, you see throughout the woodwork how many people were for it and against it.
00:02:57.700 Now, I encourage people to have an opinion on anything, your own opinion.
00:03:01.980 Formulate your own opinion and decide amongst yourselves which is good, which is bad, blah, blah, blah, blah.
00:03:07.680 But I remember distinctly my wife and I having a few arguments over things that she saw in TikTok, you know, TikTok, where people get a lot of their education now, apparently.
00:03:17.020 I guess TikTok is a great platform for people to be informed about the world because you have reporters like Rachel Gilmore at a Global News who does a lot of her stuff based on TikTok.
00:03:27.440 And I've had a few conversations.
00:03:28.380 Well, I've tried to have a conversation with her a couple of times.
00:03:30.260 She's never replied to my tweets.
00:03:32.940 However, I've given her counterpoints on so many of her stories.
00:03:38.800 And there's a few other journalists, too, I dare not mention because they're just a waste of my time.
00:03:43.840 Needless to say, during the convoy, a lot of people were against it and a lot of people were for it.
00:03:48.340 And once the smoke cleared and our beloved potato puppet and his cabinet instilled the Emergency Measures Act, a lot of people were questioning, which is a good thing.
00:03:57.740 We need more people to question the authority in this country.
00:04:00.900 Need more people to question the status.
00:04:06.880 We need more people to sit and ask the tough questions.
00:04:11.420 So personally, I don't think the Emergency Measures Act was needed.
00:04:13.640 I think it was a government overreach out of panic and fear.
00:04:17.860 OK, now you've heard me ramble on about the Trudeau government over and over again.
00:04:23.120 OK, it's becoming a broken record.
00:04:25.160 I know.
00:04:25.680 I know this should have more to do with my podcast and bitching and complaining about the Trudeau government.
00:04:30.640 Fine.
00:04:30.940 But you've got to have to sit back for a second and realize how many qualified people are calling the shots in this country as we speak.
00:04:39.220 How many people are sitting around in Ottawa, regardless of whether Christmas break or not, OK, calling these shots for us.
00:04:45.400 Now, when Parliament comes back at the end of January, you know, after having close to seven weeks off, seven weeks off, there are people I work with that can barely get two weeks off out of the year, let alone fucking seven.
00:04:56.780 But I digress.
00:05:00.560 They're going to contemplate more orders and more regulations for you and I, Canadian taxpayers, veterans, citizens alike, on how to live our lives.
00:05:10.720 Now, I've mentioned the Bill C-11 before.
00:05:13.040 Basically, it's a bill that's supposed to promote Canadian content and stop hate speech online.
00:05:18.760 Oh, my goodness.
00:05:20.260 Because it's supposed to stop disinformation and misinformation so people don't get hurt while they're reading stuff.
00:05:26.780 More or less, it's a censorship bill, ladies and gentlemen.
00:05:30.660 OK.
00:05:31.060 And yours truly and other podcasters and broadcasters and creators alike that live in this country, that thrive in this country, that love this country, might be censored.
00:05:41.340 And I put the might in big, bold letters, might be censored, right?
00:05:48.960 Because apparently I've had a couple of people weigh in on my show and say, Krusty Canuck, you're just a bitter old prick.
00:05:55.680 Well, I'm bitter.
00:05:56.980 I'm not that old.
00:05:58.440 And I can't be a prick.
00:05:59.740 So you're partially right, right?
00:06:01.780 That would be considered misinformation in some circles.
00:06:04.200 But I encourage people to speak their mind and say what they want to say and do what they want to do.
00:06:09.980 As long as you're not hitting people, taking their stuff, we'll get along just fine.
00:06:14.960 Right?
00:06:15.440 So this past year has proven to be one of a shaky and scary one, too.
00:06:20.820 OK?
00:06:21.160 I'll post some articles in my description for you guys to read along just for me to prove my point here.
00:06:26.100 I'm not going to post any videos in this episode or whatever.
00:06:28.400 I got things to do.
00:06:29.200 Like I said, it's New Year's Eve.
00:06:30.120 My wife and I are going to go out tonight and have a good dinner and have a nice dance and get along with our friends and bring in 2023 with the utmost positive outlook, regardless of how terrible this year has been for a lot of Canucks out there.
00:06:44.720 And to my American listeners, too.
00:06:46.860 And to my other foreign listeners, either from Britain or to Germany.
00:06:50.880 I've actually looked at some of the stats lately.
00:06:53.480 I've got listeners in Vietnam.
00:06:55.460 So thank you very much.
00:06:56.660 So regardless of what has happened this year, my advice is this, to keep a stiff upper lip, do what we can to persevere, and fight the good fight, to keep the truth out there to the best of our abilities.
00:07:11.820 OK?
00:07:12.520 This liberal government hasn't proven itself to be liberal.
00:07:16.880 OK?
00:07:17.420 They're not the liberals that we grew up with.
00:07:18.900 They're not the liberals that our parents grew to love.
00:07:21.440 And it doesn't matter if you appreciate Pierre Elliott Trudeau or not.
00:07:25.040 Justin is nothing like his old man.
00:07:31.500 He's a monster, as far as I'm concerned.
00:07:34.460 I've had no respect for the man.
00:07:35.640 I've got no respect for the liberal cabinet.
00:07:37.420 Why?
00:07:38.120 Because he appointed the liberal cabinet based on gender and based on numbers, not based on actual merit.
00:07:43.760 OK?
00:07:44.120 And you're seeing a lot of that in the workplaces of today, too.
00:07:48.420 OK?
00:07:49.060 We have to get numbers.
00:07:50.380 Representation is key.
00:07:51.240 Yes, representation is key when someone can do the job.
00:07:55.940 OK?
00:07:57.100 I grew up in a household where you judge people based on their actions, where you hire people based on their qualifications, not what's between their legs or the color of their skin or who they sleep with.
00:08:09.420 OK?
00:08:09.720 It's that simple.
00:08:14.040 But every so often, you're seeing little adverts pop up for people of this and people of that to apply here or apply there.
00:08:19.400 Does it really matter anymore?
00:08:22.160 No?
00:08:22.580 If I go to a mechanic, I want that mechanic to be qualified.
00:08:25.280 I personally don't care if he or she is black or he or she is gay or if they identify as Xur or Zink or Zoink, what have you.
00:08:35.000 As long as they know what the hell they're doing when it comes to tools and fixing a vehicle, I'm OK with that.
00:08:41.240 But just like when we elect our politicians, how many politicians have been elected the past couple of years who fill a role, who fill a void, rather than try to solve a problem?
00:08:53.820 OK?
00:08:56.120 It's not sexist to argue with a woman, ladies and gentlemen.
00:08:59.320 It's not misandric to argue with a man.
00:09:01.720 It's not misogynistic to disagree with a female politician.
00:09:05.540 It's not misandric to disagree with a male politician.
00:09:09.020 OK?
00:09:09.720 So this year has been a real big play on words, right?
00:09:13.600 The big trend that I've seen is that, oh, if you disagree with this, it's violence.
00:09:18.400 Or if you disagree with that, it's violence.
00:09:20.920 No.
00:09:21.480 A violence is where you go up to somebody and you punch them in the face.
00:09:24.360 That is violence.
00:09:25.900 And according to the law, that's also called assault, right?
00:09:29.580 But if you tell someone to fuck off or get a grip, you know, or get a life or do better at your job, rather than just do better like a lot of the SJWs like to say now, right?
00:09:42.020 I like to tell those kids, what's your bloody excuse?
00:09:45.860 Why aren't you doing better?
00:09:47.060 Well, you're telling guys like me who drive a truck and go to work, you know, who work 10, 12-hour shifts, OK, on most days, why aren't you doing better?
00:09:57.720 What's your excuse, right?
00:10:00.120 But, you know, of course, all you ever get is this.
00:10:10.420 Pretty self-explanatory, right?
00:10:11.880 So when I look at 2022, I look at all the slack and idle, all the lazy leadership that has come from basically all major parties in this country.
00:10:23.140 Now, I've praised Pierre Polyev in the Canadian Parliament, basically for standing up for the blue-collar guy and gal, of course, you know, I'm being inclusive here, ladies and gentlemen, all right?
00:10:37.860 To everyone who goes out and works for a living.
00:10:39.860 Now, with the inflation that the world is seeing, as we see, OK, it's not just a global thing.
00:10:46.000 A lot of it's a national thing, too, OK?
00:10:48.520 We've seen the federal government spend lots of money on stupid things, the $54 million in the Trans Scam app, basically to track your movement because of COVID, to protect you because of safety, right?
00:11:01.640 It's $54 million that cost a Canadian taxpayer to get that online and on the go, but it wasn't working properly.
00:11:08.780 So some people pocketed some funds out of that.
00:11:11.040 It's safe to assume, right?
00:11:13.660 And how many more billions of dollars were given to the people of Ukraine to fight the Russian onslaught, OK, while our military is being ripped apart and gutted as we speak?
00:11:24.740 So there's a lot of contrast and context here that's not being presented to the general public.
00:11:30.320 So it's people like me and other people like yourself that watch my show or watch other shows or listen to other podcasts or listen to alternative media or listen to homegrown media to find some more facts and figures, OK?
00:11:44.000 And this year has been a reminder, too, on how many people are getting sick and tired of the mainstream dogma, the mainstream BS when it comes to this story or that story, you know?
00:11:54.280 Oh, my God, this person didn't like my article.
00:11:56.900 So therefore, I've got PTSD.
00:11:58.940 They said such harsh words.
00:12:01.900 I like to remind my wonderful audience out there.
00:12:05.400 You don't get PTSD from reading a bad article.
00:12:09.140 You don't get PTSD from reading a bad article or reading meme tweets or walking down the street, strolling around and someone calling you a silly cow.
00:12:18.360 You get PTSD from actually doing something, witnessing some horrendous actions, and you just don't assess it quick enough.
00:12:25.580 You just put it aside and it accumulates after a while.
00:12:30.120 Right?
00:12:30.840 If you got PTSD from bad words, Stephen King would be out of a job.
00:12:35.380 You know what I'm saying?
00:12:39.480 So while you sit there and you contemplate all the buffoonery that has been presented to us this year, let's hope 2023 does far better.
00:12:51.740 Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.

00:13:05.380 Yes, let's hope 2023 does far better.
00:13:09.160 Let's take a better stand on these issues, too, as the title card says, too.
00:13:13.400 Looking forward to 2023.
00:13:15.200 You see a little individual there with a scan of flag wrapped around his mouth.
00:13:18.320 He's being censored.
00:13:19.480 Carbon tax, inflation, the big gun ban that issue is going on.
00:13:23.020 And I've already mentioned the whole app issue with the trans scam, Transcanda app for your safety.
00:13:29.200 Not to mention every other scan that's in the works as we speak right now.
00:13:33.060 C11 might go through as planned.
00:13:35.380 At some time beginning next year.
00:13:38.400 Right?
00:13:38.980 So yours truly and other Canadian creators might be censored because we're being too mean.
00:13:44.140 Oh.
00:13:45.260 Heaven forbid if we actually spend our time trying to talk to people, trying to bring some common sense back into our lives, too.
00:13:51.580 Now, I've had a few emails over the past couple of months in regards to my content and what I've said.
00:13:58.760 And I don't believe in exposing people.
00:14:01.920 I don't believe in doxing people.
00:14:03.940 Unless the guy or gal is a criminal and they've done some terrible things to people.
00:14:08.220 That's a different story.
00:14:09.120 But when it comes to this whole doxing trend that was done in the States by that Taylor Lorenz, that poor, poor girl that got PTSD from bad words.
00:14:18.100 Okay.
00:14:19.880 Because the creator of Libs of TikTok, you can see on the Twitter feed there.
00:14:23.920 Right?
00:14:24.880 Exposing some of the buffoonery that's miring our society today.
00:14:28.100 Now, I personally don't care what people do with their spare time or what you want to do with your life or who you love.
00:14:34.320 Go out there and love who you want.
00:14:37.060 But I will say this.
00:14:38.240 Leave kids alone.
00:14:40.220 Okay?
00:14:40.740 Let kids decide who they are, what they are, what they want to be.
00:14:44.700 Let them grow into something by their means and by their terms.
00:14:49.280 Not by mom and mom's terms or dad and dad's terms or some woke teacher.
00:14:53.200 And let's get rid of the woke bullshit right now, too.
00:14:56.180 So, let's start hiring again based on merit.
00:15:00.880 Based on a person that has what it takes to do the job assigned or the job that they're going for.
00:15:07.040 They have the qualifications.
00:15:09.320 Now, I talk with some actors and I've talked with some writers.
00:15:13.880 Like I said, I've written a screenplay, ladies and gentlemen.
00:15:16.720 So, that's in the works.
00:15:19.420 The screenplay is done.
00:15:20.640 But needless to say, I think it's great.
00:15:24.880 And I'm not going to toot my own horn.
00:15:26.040 I just think it's a great story.
00:15:28.140 And what I want for this screenplay, I would like it to work.
00:15:32.780 And I'd like it to go places.
00:15:34.780 Be hopeful.
00:15:35.800 Just like any musician wants his or her music to go someplace.
00:15:39.600 Any novelist wants his or her words to go someplace.
00:15:43.420 You know.
00:15:44.140 But it can't be done unless we get rid of all this woke crap.
00:15:48.420 Okay?
00:15:48.600 I believe in representation.
00:15:51.180 But I believe in meritocracy more.
00:15:55.040 Okay?
00:15:55.220 If representation is so key in this year and for the next year.
00:16:00.900 Then write those stories about representation.
00:16:05.700 Create those stories.
00:16:06.960 Create those films.
00:16:08.880 Stop worrying about how many people of this or that are behind the scenes.
00:16:12.400 Start worrying about how the story is going to get out there so the masses can see it and embrace it.
00:16:17.500 Okay?
00:16:17.720 Start worrying about who's qualified to do the job rather than who looks the part.
00:16:24.380 Start being the part.
00:16:25.580 It's that simple.
00:16:26.920 It doesn't matter if you're black, white, indigenous, French, English.
00:16:31.160 It doesn't matter if you're Polish.
00:16:32.540 It doesn't matter if you're Eastern European.
00:16:33.560 It doesn't matter at all.
00:16:35.540 If you have what it takes to do the job, as far as I'm concerned, it's yours.
00:16:40.280 That's my logic.
00:16:41.440 And somehow we have forgotten that in 2022.
00:16:44.720 So let's try doing that in 2023 and for the rest of our natural lives.
00:16:49.900 Don't buy the hype of the climate emergency.
00:16:52.840 I don't.
00:16:54.140 Weather changes?
00:16:55.140 Fine.
00:16:57.420 Does that mean more tax dollars at the pumps and the grocery stores?
00:17:00.700 And when we turn the heat up when it's minus 45, going to stop the bad weather from getting us?
00:17:07.020 No!
00:17:08.600 It's not.
00:17:10.220 It's a government scam.
00:17:12.340 And Dr. Patrick Moore, one of the original founders of Greenpeace, can validate that for you too.
00:17:18.020 So that's my environmental spiel for this episode, ladies and gentlemen.
00:17:24.140 When it comes to 2023, I believe there might be a fight coming.
00:17:31.040 And I'm not saying, you know, a little fisticuff, a little scuffle, or, you know, the little scuffle that the police forces promoted on the convoy there back in February.
00:17:40.300 Okay?
00:17:40.520 I believe there might be a fight coming.
00:17:43.900 And I believe there might be some ugly revelations.
00:17:48.680 I think there's going to be a lot of told you so's and a lot of you woulda, coulda, shouldas.
00:17:55.700 But I also believe that something's going to happen and it might wake people up even further.
00:18:00.420 There's a lot of grassroots Canadians out there, a lot of grassroots Americans out there, a lot of grassroots Brits, Germans, a lot of people in the Western democracies who are starting to wake up to this bullshit and say,
00:18:12.440 No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:18:14.240 We are not going to sell our farms.
00:18:15.980 No, no, no, no.
00:18:16.360 We're not going to sell our homes.
00:18:18.220 We're not going to buy this, have some crickets and own nothing and be happy bullshit.
00:18:22.540 Yours truly won't.
00:18:24.260 Now, our federal government has added more guns to the list of what they want to ban with Bill C-21.
00:18:29.840 One, okay, that's basically every hunting rifle that's in the Canadian arsenal as we speak, right?
00:18:37.280 And I've said this in my last episode too, ladies and gentlemen, they basically just don't want Canadians to own firearms.
00:18:43.460 That's what it is.
00:18:44.480 And in recent news today, there was a young police officer who was gunned down and killed in Hagersville, Ontario, doing his job, responding to an emergency.
00:18:53.140 And the little puke that shot him was out on bail months before who committed assault against a peace officer who was forbidden from owning firearms because he committed a crime, said firearm, a year before, or was it 2018?
00:19:11.420 Anyway, I'll leave a link in my description, ladies and gentlemen, for you to read and to carry on with at your own leisure.
00:19:17.820 But you're seeing what the government is sizing us up to do.
00:19:21.540 So the liberal government passed Bill C-5, which was a little more lenient, a little more softer on people who committed some heinous crimes, i.e., you know, armed robberies, armed assaults, that kind of thing.
00:19:34.840 And yet they don't see individuals who do that as a danger.
00:19:37.780 They see individuals as myself and my fellow shooters and hunters alike as danger.
00:19:43.780 So the contrast of our leadership is all screw me up, right?
00:19:48.800 All screwed up.
00:19:49.740 That's self-explanatory.
00:19:52.660 So let's hope 2023, some common sense might hit Parliament.
00:19:56.040 We could pray for it, but I doubt it's going to happen.
00:19:59.800 But I encourage all of you is to stand your ground, stand firm and stand fast.
00:20:03.600 Because I don't want to see a repeat of what happened in February to those truckers that just stood up and said, hey, we've had enough of this garbage.
00:20:13.700 Because the next time, it might be a little more violent.

00:20:29.220 Like the title of the card says, ladies and gentlemen, looking forward to 2023.
00:20:35.500 Of course, C11, the censorship, BS, banning more guns, inflation, because the government just loves spending our money on virtue, trying to save the world and more carbon taxes.
00:20:45.640 That's right.
00:20:47.060 Yes, effective the first, effective tomorrow.
00:20:50.600 Okay.
00:20:50.860 January 1st, 2023 goes up.
00:20:56.700 Gasoline, groceries, home heating, all to save the planet.
00:21:02.720 No, it's lining pockets.
00:21:05.780 Okay.
00:21:06.540 It's taking more money that we don't have and giving it away to other people.
00:21:11.980 That's my best guess in how this inflationary problem is.
00:21:15.880 Right.
00:21:17.600 It's just.
00:21:19.160 I don't know what else to say about it, ladies and gentlemen.
00:21:21.480 Other than that, it's just a con.
00:21:23.280 It's just a scam.
00:21:24.940 Okay.
00:21:26.160 You're not going to save the world by taking money from people and shaking their finger.
00:21:31.880 I've suggested this before on numerous episodes.
00:21:34.600 Why aren't we spending money on innovations that are going to help people?
00:21:37.720 Now, shameful Seamus O'Regan, Mr. Whatever Minister he was, I forget, the guy keeps changing jobs like I change socks every effing day, promised heat pumps to his constituents in Newfoundland.
00:21:50.960 Heat pumps.
00:21:52.680 Basically, it's something you attach to your AC unit to pump heat into your home.
00:21:57.940 Okay.
00:21:58.080 Now, if it works the same as an AC unit, you might as well just leave your dryer on all goddamn day because the electricity is going to go through the roof.
00:22:07.320 So, all these ideas that the Liberal government has come up with in the name of protecting the environment, it's going to be uber harder on the grid.
00:22:17.780 Okay.
00:22:19.280 It's going to be super harder on the grid.
00:22:21.160 They want you to use electric cars.
00:22:23.680 Have you seen a winter in Canada?
00:22:25.200 Have you seen what severe coal does to an actual car battery, let alone the batteries that are going to run these great electric vehicles so we can save the earth?
00:22:36.700 Yeah.
00:22:37.260 Said no one.
00:22:38.680 Right?
00:22:39.780 So, we have to incorporate more common sense this coming 2023, ladies and gentlemen.
00:22:45.640 Okay.
00:22:46.420 Question it.
00:22:47.760 No one, as far as I'm concerned, can force you to buy something that you don't want.
00:22:52.040 I don't have the $45,000, $50,000 right now to go put a down payment on a luxury electric vehicle or get myself a Prius.
00:23:03.000 Probably because I probably get a loan, but then there's more debt.
00:23:08.320 I don't want more debt.
00:23:09.920 I've had enough of it.
00:23:10.760 I paid all my debts off.
00:23:12.340 I don't want any fucking more, and neither do you.
00:23:15.540 Right?
00:23:15.940 So, what's the sense of doing that?
00:23:20.300 But no, powers that be know what's best.
00:23:22.140 Even though the powers that be are chauffeured, catered, they get the odd rub and tug, they get the odd reach around, and they get their food and everything else delivered to them.
00:23:33.760 While some of them still have the luxury of sitting at home and carrying on parliamentary duties via Zoom.
00:23:39.040 So, can you trust individuals that tell you that you must buy this vehicle by this year?
00:23:44.880 We must start buying these vehicles by this year or else?
00:23:48.600 Right?
00:23:49.200 No.
00:23:50.100 So, you, my wonderful audience out there, I encourage you all to keep driving your combustible engines and invest in more combustible engines.
00:23:59.160 And take the time to invest in yourself, how you can run your own home by your own means of power.
00:24:06.040 Right?
00:24:06.740 There's schematics out there that you can find to run your house on clean, realistic energy without breaking your bank or putting you into fucking financial crisis.
00:24:17.340 Okay?
00:24:18.700 Self-sufficiency.
00:24:20.860 That's a start.
00:24:22.220 Now, my wife and I, we're on the grid.
00:24:24.080 Yes, our prices are getting up there.
00:24:26.380 And sometimes it does get unbearable.
00:24:29.280 And I'm thinking a ways myself as I do this podcast here for you, ladies and gentlemen, and we make things easier later on.
00:24:36.320 But I digress.
00:24:38.240 I encourage you all to be a little more self-sufficient when it comes to heating your home, cooling your home, washing your dishes, washing your clothes.
00:24:47.960 Find ways, because it starts at home, right?
00:24:50.500 It starts at home and it starts with you.
00:24:53.060 And maybe these clowns might just pay attention.
00:24:55.580 But then, you know, no one's perfect, right?
00:24:57.960 Because, you know, like I always say, crack don't smoke itself.

00:25:50.620 Try to get two episodes up every two weeks.
00:25:52.600 Therefore, you get four a month.
00:25:54.760 And to you, my diehard Krusty Canuck fans, I try to do that for you as best I can.
00:25:58.320 I like to get more episodes up on a regular basis.
00:26:00.680 But due to my work schedule and what I have to pay to keep this house running, the podcast is not paying that much.

00:26:35.280 I have a mug.
00:26:37.040 They come in different varieties.
00:26:38.200 I also have T-shirts there, too, ladies and gentlemen.

00:26:48.600 Links are in the description.
00:26:50.580 Anyway, carrying on again with episode 198.
00:26:53.280 Looking forward to 2023?
00:26:56.180 Well, I am.
00:26:57.320 I'm alive.
00:26:58.140 I have a great marriage.
00:26:59.420 I have great friends, and I got a great family.
00:27:02.560 I've got some great goals that I'm going for, and I hope all of you have some great goals to go for, too.
00:27:09.620 But these goals and these ideas cannot be completed unless we have the freedom to do it.
00:27:17.480 And that freedom has to be fought for, ladies and gentlemen.
00:27:21.300 You know, that has to be fought for.
00:27:23.180 So, I have to say, abolish the carbon tax.
00:27:34.100 That ever-looming, disgusting carbon tax.
00:27:37.240 And take a stand against C-21 when it comes to confiscation of firearms.
00:27:42.620 Now, I live in Alberta, ladies and gentlemen.
00:27:44.620 And our premier, Daniel Smith, regardless of how you feel about her or feel about the Conservative caucus over the past three years,
00:27:52.240 because of Kenny's blunders, okay?
00:27:56.140 I think she's taken a good stand when it comes to looking after Albertans and the welfare of Albertans.
00:28:03.120 Because there's a lot of Albertans that I know, personally, that are hunters and sport shooters.
00:28:08.580 Some are fellow vets.
00:28:09.860 Some are ex-police officers.
00:28:12.220 And others are just down-to-earth, decent people that grew up hard, that grew up fair.
00:28:20.740 Right?
00:28:22.240 And when you keep telling an individual, you can't, you can't, you can't, you're not, you're not.
00:28:26.340 One of two things is going to happen.
00:28:28.760 Someone's going to lash out.
00:28:30.660 Or someone's going to comply.
00:28:34.240 I highly suggest you don't comply.
00:28:36.420 That's all I'm going to say about that.
00:28:38.520 Stand up for what's right.
00:28:40.080 Okay?
00:28:40.740 That's not the government's place to take your property.
00:28:43.060 It doesn't matter if it's deemed illegal or not.
00:28:45.300 It belongs to you.
00:28:46.360 You know?
00:28:48.020 And when they suggested and mentioned any kind of buyback, well, how is it a buyback?
00:28:53.280 You never bought it to begin with.
00:28:54.920 How are you buying it back for me?
00:28:57.620 Right?
00:28:57.980 How are you doing that?
00:28:59.640 You never bought the damn thing to begin with.
00:29:01.480 You never took the training.
00:29:02.460 You never took the lessons.
00:29:03.500 You never invest the time and effort to learn how to shoot properly.
00:29:06.080 So, why are you taking something from me?
00:29:10.080 Right?
00:29:10.620 That's what we're going to stand for.
00:29:12.340 And then, when Parliament sits again, I think January 30th, I highly suggest to all of you,
00:29:17.820 write to your MPs, email, phone call, handwritten letters.
00:29:23.720 Right?
00:29:24.220 Send dozens, hundreds, thousands.
00:29:27.640 Bombard your MPs.
00:29:29.620 Because I'm trying to find a peaceful solution to this idiocy that we have to call our Canadian government.
00:29:36.640 What else can we do?
00:29:38.100 We've seen how the overreach happens in February of this past year.
00:29:43.440 We've seen what they're willing to do when they have a coalition of the willing and the compliant
00:29:47.920 to quash any kind of disinformation or misinformation that's out there.
00:29:55.540 And there's tons of footage out there, ladies and gentlemen, that can prove that the protest in Ottawa
00:30:00.040 was not a terrible, evil thing.
00:30:02.500 We had a couple of shitheads that might have been planted to stir the pot.
00:30:08.460 But all in all, you know, you had kids there, you had people there in bouncy castles, hot tubs,
00:30:14.080 playing street hockey.
00:30:14.920 People from all walks of life, handing out food, shaking hands, camaraderie at its finest,
00:30:20.600 waving the Canadian flag.
00:30:22.640 Okay.
00:30:23.260 Oh, and that also reminds me too.
00:30:25.180 I have to do a redaction, ladies and gentlemen.
00:30:27.740 My last episode, I mentioned about the LAV-3 firing a 25 millimeter, or correction, I said 25 caliber.
00:30:35.540 What I should have said was 25 millimeter.
00:30:37.800 To my fellow veterans out there, my fellow LAV drivers and commanders alike, my sincerest apologies
00:30:43.800 for my ignorance.
00:30:45.180 I redact the comment of saying 25 caliber.
00:30:48.160 I should have said 25 millimeter cannon.
00:30:51.960 My apologies.
00:30:53.580 My apologies.
00:30:55.020 So, like I've always said too, we have to have more journalists redact their comments if they're wrong
00:31:02.340 or if they're corrected.
00:31:03.740 I wasn't corrected, but I was wrong after watching the review of my episode going,
00:31:10.380 holy shit, I got to sort that out.
00:31:12.460 So, I just sorted it, ladies and gentlemen.
00:31:13.840 To my fellow vets out there who are LAV qualified, my apologies for saying 25 caliber.
00:31:19.440 I should have said 25 millimeter cannon.
00:31:23.700 So, you know.
00:31:25.920 Thank you.
00:31:26.560 Thank you.
00:31:27.460 And we'll just leave it at that, ladies and gentlemen.
00:31:30.680 So, Mel Koopa, Mel Koopa.
00:31:32.160 I flagellate myself and that buffoonery and that stupid mistake.
00:31:40.700 So, I redacted the comment.
00:31:42.580 Okay.
00:31:43.000 I just did right here on the show for you today, ladies and gentlemen.
00:31:46.220 And I just like to say too, hey, Rachel Gilmore, you see how it's done?
00:31:50.020 Right?
00:31:51.580 You make a mistake, you fucking own it.
00:31:54.340 That simple.
00:31:55.700 Okay.
00:31:55.940 I'm hoping one day that you're actually going to realize that your reporting is terrible.
00:32:01.280 And to every other journalist out there that constantly worries about so-called intersectionality
00:32:05.680 and rampant misogyny.
00:32:08.040 Think about the garbage that you promote.
00:32:11.060 Okay.
00:32:11.600 So, come 2023, as of tomorrow, I hope you reflect.
00:32:16.380 And I hope you lot do better.
00:32:19.600 Right?
00:32:20.200 Do better in researching your stories.
00:32:23.520 Do better in actually getting the questions across.
00:32:26.120 Do better in getting the answers rather than sitting in the confines of your luxurious apartment
00:32:30.660 or wherever you live and get off your ass and go out and talk to people.
00:32:36.180 Then you'll find guys like me and the so-called misogynists on Twitter.
00:32:41.380 Okay.
00:32:42.060 You'll find less and less of a hard time when you actually do what you're paid to fucking do.
00:32:48.040 Okay.
00:32:48.520 There we go.
00:32:50.440 And that'll probably make your 2023 that much brighter and less sexist.
00:32:55.420 Right?
00:32:55.660 Oh.
00:32:57.680 Oh, God.
00:32:58.440 Yes, of course.
00:33:00.080 Or just be an adult and own your shit.
00:33:02.460 But, you know, I digress anyway.
00:33:05.400 Anyways, gentlemen, in conclusion of this episode, I wish nothing but good things for you as all
00:33:11.640 in the upcoming year.
00:33:13.920 It's been a tough year for all Canucks.
00:33:15.580 It's been a tough year for my American friends.
00:33:17.160 It's a tough year for my British friends, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
00:33:21.540 But I also want to say that regardless of how you feel in the political spectrum, I personally
00:33:26.660 believe a lot of freedom is being compromised as we speak.
00:33:29.940 To where we go, to where we shop, to what we do, how much cash we should have, how much
00:33:33.840 cash we shouldn't have, according to some powers that be.
00:33:35.900 I want you to have all the cash and liberty that you want.
00:33:41.060 Just don't hit people, take their stuff.
00:33:43.580 Simple rules to live by.
00:33:45.120 Right?
00:33:45.840 Do what we can to be kind to each other.
00:33:48.400 Now, I personally don't care how you live your life.
00:33:51.140 I don't care who you love.
00:33:52.120 I don't care who you sleep with.
00:33:54.280 Do it well.
00:33:54.960 Do it hard.
00:33:55.760 Do it proudfully.
00:33:56.860 Do it right.
00:33:58.220 Right?
00:33:59.040 Leave kids alone.
00:34:00.520 Let them grow up to figure it out for themselves like every other adult should.
00:34:04.320 Right?
00:34:05.060 I don't buy this woke mandates.
00:34:06.620 I don't believe in drag queens dancing erotically for kids.
00:34:09.640 I don't believe in drag kings dancing erotically for kids.
00:34:12.340 I don't believe in any stripper of any sort dancing erotically for kids.
00:34:17.240 Okay?
00:34:17.500 That's just my belief.
00:34:18.880 What's your belief?
00:34:19.720 Something to think about.
00:34:21.360 Now, I'm not going to sit here and talk about decency and conservatism, but I'm going
00:34:26.200 to talk about practicality and pragmatism and what's going to be good when it comes
00:34:29.660 to warping and shaping kids to grow up in a world that they're more willing to inherit
00:34:33.920 and to make things work.
00:34:36.860 Okay?
00:34:37.600 Still a lot of years left in all of us there, ladies and gentlemen.
00:34:39.640 A lot of us Gen Xers, there's a lot of years to go.
00:34:42.580 A lot of asses to kick.
00:34:43.880 A lot of heads to turn.
00:34:45.460 And we shall do it.
00:34:46.320 We shall persevere.
00:34:47.700 I might have to work a little bit harder, but it's worth it, ladies and gentlemen.
