The Crusty Canuck Podcast - Ep# 218 Tuesday Rant Cabinet Shuffle⧸ Boo’s for JT⧸ ”Barbie” and Heat Wave

00:00:00.340 Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. It's the beautiful 25th of July, 2023.

00:00:05.000 Coming up with a Tuesday rant of the Crusty Camp podcast.

00:00:07.580 Yes, cabinet shuffle. More booze for our PM Trudeau and Barbie and the Global Heat Wave.

00:00:15.020 I tell you, a lot of people are panicking. Please stand by.

00:00:19.020 Listener discretion is advised because I like to swear and smoke cigarettes.

00:00:23.400 And like I said, cabinet shuffles on its way, so prepare yourself.

00:00:26.320 Some scary times coming up, folks.

00:00:32.720 Anyhow, stick around.

00:00:38.660 Hit it, sweetheart. 1.00

00:00:40.900 Because I am hard, you will not like me.

00:00:43.820 Yes, sir.

00:00:47.300 There is no racial bigotry here.

00:00:51.900 There you are always will be working.

00:00:56.320 From Western Canada, this is the Crusty Canuck podcast.

00:01:00.860 A Canadian veteran's point of view.

00:01:03.140 On political, social, economic issues, and life.

00:01:07.040 Here's Crusty.

00:01:09.700 That's right, ladies and gentlemen.

00:01:11.120 Cabinet shuffle. More booze for PM Trudeau and Barbie.

00:01:14.120 The movie and, of course, the Global Heat Wave.

00:01:16.260 Welcome to the podcast, ladies and gentlemen.

00:01:18.040 I am your host, Crusty Canuck, on this beautiful Tuesday, 25th of July.

00:01:24.260 Hope you've all had a decent weekend.

00:01:26.220 I know I did.

00:01:27.780 I was working.

00:01:28.880 Anyhow, like the headline says, cabinet shuffle is looming.

00:01:32.720 It's going to happen tomorrow.

00:01:34.240 So sometime we'll get the good news about who's going to be looking after this position or that position.

00:01:39.180 You know, all I can say is this. 0.98

00:01:41.440 Just be more BS coming down the tracks to ram more of the woke, liberal crap into our faces, ladies and gentlemen. 0.98

00:01:52.620 Like I said, this is the Tuesday Rant. 0.97

00:01:53.620 If you like and hear what you see, please click like and subscribe.

00:01:56.200 Share this podcast all over your social media platforms.

00:01:59.380 Help us Canucks.

00:02:00.920 Right?

00:02:01.260 Get our word out there to other Canadians and other viewers around the world, too, if you like.

00:02:05.060 Anyhow, like I said, this is episode 218 of the Tuesday Rant.

00:02:11.200 Everybody cross the canuck podcast.

00:02:12.940 So, cabinet shuffle is coming.

00:02:14.620 Now, I got an article here I'll read along with you from Mr. Brian Lilly from the Toronto Sun.

00:02:19.240 I'll try to keep up if you can.

00:02:21.080 I know it was pretty dry.

00:02:22.680 He put a video the other day about the whole booze and Belleville thing, but I'll get to that later in the show here.

00:02:27.760 But I'll just set this up for you so we can all have a good little understanding.

00:02:33.000 Of the whole situation coming with the cabinet shuffle.

00:02:36.080 Now, I remember cabinet shuffles from before in regards to the Gretchen government back in the late 90s, 2000s.

00:02:48.040 Anyhow, but it just seemed, it just didn't seem really legitimate because it's obvious you can tell the liberals are in trouble.

00:02:56.260 You can tell that they're not really doing so well.

00:03:00.220 And they're going to try to, you know, make do with what they can to make everything just, you know, special for us all.

00:03:06.340 You know, we know it's a joke.

00:03:07.640 Anyway, here's the article.

00:03:09.980 Lilly from Brian Lilly from Toronto Sun.

00:03:12.340 Trudeau drops ministers and droves ahead of cabinet shuffle.

00:03:15.560 Trudeau government going for a major refresh by dropping old faces, bringing in the new.

00:03:20.580 That's right.

00:03:21.480 So, Trudeau liberals were throwing bodies overboard ahead of the cabinet shuffle fast and many people could count.

00:03:26.900 It started with Carolyn Bennett announcing she wouldn't run quickly, followed by Omar Allegra, Helen Jacek, and Joyce Murray.

00:03:35.060 So, add to the leaks about Marco Mendocino, David Lemeni, and Mona Fortier all being dropped from cabinet.

00:03:40.120 We've got seven of 39 leaving before the shuffle has even begun.

00:03:44.680 After almost 11 years as member of parliament, two and a half years as minister, and six elections, I've made the difficult decision not to run the next election, Allegra said in a video posted to his social media account.

00:03:56.680 So, ladies and gentlemen, if you'd like to hear what you see, I'll put this link into the description.

00:04:00.700 You guys can read it at your own time, your own leisure, whatever.

00:04:04.140 So, Trudeau has asked cabinet ministers to commit to running in the next election ahead of the shuffle.

00:04:09.120 Some decide to jump before getting pushed.

00:04:10.960 That election could, in theory, come any time given the minority parliament, but could still be two years off, thanks to the coalition agreement with the NDP.

00:04:19.140 Of course, Mr. Yagmeet Singh wants to keep his job and tote his virtue as he's shaking his hand at people who, you know, don't live up to his expectations while he wears a Rolex and custom-made suits.

00:04:31.320 Anyway, I digress.

00:04:32.120 Now, those individuals that I mentioned, incompetent. 0.99

00:05:00.120 Incompetent. 0.99

00:05:01.520 All the way.

00:05:03.340 Incompetent. 0.73

00:05:04.640 Okay?

00:05:05.440 I have no respect for those individuals because they do nothing but toe the party line.

00:05:11.900 Right?

00:05:12.600 So, that's the thing.

00:05:13.960 Blair was spotted Tuesday heading to the prime minister's residence on the grounds of Rideau Hall, whereas Anita Anon, currently a defense, and Sean Fraser, currently at immigration.

00:05:22.880 While some have touted Anon to take over public safety. 0.99

00:05:27.820 Holy shit. 0.99

00:05:29.580 Really? 0.99

00:05:31.140 Now, from the soon-to-be-departed Marco Mendocino, CBC has reported she will take on an economic portfolio, such as Treasury Board, an appointment that can only be described as a demotion.

00:05:40.820 Well, the way the guys spend money?

00:05:44.840 Yeah, you're damn right it's a demotion.

00:05:46.780 Jesus.

00:05:48.520 Perhaps Anon is being punished for not curtailing her leadership ambitions and continuing to organize as a replacement for Justin Trudeau when he leaves office.

00:05:57.180 Oh, interesting.

00:05:58.280 There's a hint, ladies and gentlemen.

00:06:00.060 Trudeau has shown that despite his feminist claims, he doesn't actually like strong women around him.

00:06:04.040 I personally think he doesn't like women with their own opinion.

00:06:07.580 It's got nothing to do with strength or duty.

00:06:09.140 I just, I don't think he really respects a lot of women and values their judgment. 0.99

00:06:14.280 Kind of like his old man used to.

00:06:16.740 Right?

00:06:17.240 Meanwhile, Blair, who really should retire, has been touted as Anon's replacement at defense.

00:06:21.260 He couldn't read memos on China threatening a Canadian MP and their family.

00:06:25.260 So, let's put him in charge of the military.

00:06:27.200 That's a good saying there, Mr. Lilly.

00:06:28.500 Reports have Pablo Rodriguez moving from Heritage, where he botched the C-18 Online News Act rollout to Transportation, a much more complex file.

00:06:38.460 Pascal St. Ange, who took on Hockey Canada and sport is touted as his replacement.

00:06:43.620 Okay.

00:06:47.240 So, you're going to put a professional athlete in charge of Heritage.

00:06:51.080 And you're going to put Pablo Rodriguez, an Argentine-Canadian, who actually has some affection for Che Guevara.

00:06:58.500 He wants to go into transportation.

00:07:02.240 So, if Omar can't get transportation sorted out, how the hell can Pablo do it when he wants to censor Canadians?

00:07:08.800 Oh, I see.

00:07:09.580 Well, you don't like what we say online, so you're not going to take this flight out of here.

00:07:14.300 One name floated replacement in Sino at Public Safety is Trudeau confidant and former fixer Dominic LeBlanc.

00:07:20.980 Okay.

00:07:21.380 Well, this guy, I don't know.

00:07:22.660 They're all just shady.

00:07:24.380 This shuffle has the potential to be bigger than most.

00:07:26.400 Well, beyond simply replacing the seven who will be retiring or reportedly booted from Cabinet.

00:07:31.760 Now, it's not a given that all seven would be replaced, though Cabinet is more likely to stay the same size or even grow, grown than it is shrink to shrink.

00:07:40.120 I can't speak English today.

00:07:41.540 Trudeau started out with 30 ministers in 2015 and now has 38 ministers assigned that governments grow as they age.

00:07:48.680 Yeah.

00:07:48.960 Eight new Cabinet positions since 2015.

00:07:52.900 What does that tell you?

00:07:54.180 Do they have your interest at heart?

00:07:56.420 No.

00:07:57.400 They have to have a job and feel special.

00:07:59.760 Of course.

00:08:00.400 In addition to considering regional balances, Trudeau is likely to adhere to his self-imposed rule of having Cabinet made up of an equal number of women and men.

00:08:10.700 He may be regretting his once lofty pledge given many of the ministers causing his headaches right now are many and many of those poised for promotion are women.

00:08:19.760 But unless he breaks his pledge, he can't have more women in his Cabinet than men.

00:08:25.440 Except Anna Ganey from Montreal to be appointed to Cabinet.

00:08:28.820 The rookie MP is a longtime liberal activist and personal friend of the PM.

00:08:35.260 Oh, coincidental.

00:08:37.160 Oh, interesting.

00:08:38.600 We have an accompanied Trudeau along with her family on the infamous trip to Edgar Con's private island.

00:08:44.640 Ooh, flap and tickle for your pickle. 1.00

00:08:46.400 Well, Ben Carr is another rookie expected to be appointed to Cabinet.

00:08:51.220 Carr recently won the Winnipeg by-election, called to replace his late father and Trudeau Cabinet Minister Jim Carr.

00:08:57.600 Another quinky dink.

00:08:58.560 Well, I want to take over my daddy's spot because the Prime Minister can, so why can't I?

00:09:02.920 Oh, my God.

00:09:03.720 Yeah, yeah.

00:09:04.480 If Trudeau is filling all existing positions, he will need another three women and two men to meet his criteria.

00:09:10.600 Merit will only come into consideration after all other criteria have been met.

00:09:14.180 And the biggest criteria is you don't show up to the boss.

00:09:19.100 See, that's the thing.

00:09:21.620 Us other Canadians, we believe in merit, meritocracy.

00:09:25.200 You earn a position.

00:09:26.760 Okay, if you're elected, that's fine.

00:09:28.360 But you have to earn a position.

00:09:30.100 You shouldn't be just handed a job because you are or you're not or you aren't, whatever.

00:09:35.660 So I'll leave this link in the description, ladies and gentlemen.

00:09:38.000 And, well, it's self-explanatory, right?

00:09:41.500 So the shuffle's coming, so there's a panic.

00:09:44.000 So is there a possible election in the works?

00:09:46.340 Hmm?

00:09:47.140 Is there a possible election?

00:09:49.420 It could happen.

00:09:50.640 My good friends at Northern Perspective don't want another election.

00:09:53.700 And personally, I don't want another election, too.

00:09:56.140 It's cost-effective.

00:09:57.140 It's timely.

00:09:58.060 It's stressful. 0.99

00:09:58.940 And it's a pain in the ass. 0.98

00:10:00.460 But, but I will say this out there, ladies and gentlemen, to my viewers out there and believers in democracy and liberty and standing up for your troops, standing up for the people in your lives. 0.98

00:10:11.600 And people that want to keep their money and thrive again in this country.

00:10:16.900 Think about it.

00:10:18.160 An election just might be a benefit.

00:10:21.420 This might be a diamond in the rough.

00:10:39.720 Welcome back to the Tuesday Rant Krusty Canuck Podcast, episode 218.

00:10:43.160 Cabinet Shuffle, more booze for PM Trudeau, and the Barbie movie, and the global heat wave.

00:10:48.860 Welcome back, yous all.

00:10:49.840 I am Krusty Canuck, owner and operator.

00:10:52.880 And host of this lovely podcast.

00:10:54.700 I want to say thank you out there.

00:10:56.220 To all the individuals that have sent me some kind emails the past couple of days.

00:10:59.020 I got a few of them.

00:11:00.240 Just thumbs up.

00:11:01.060 Good job.

00:11:01.580 When's your next show?

00:11:02.480 Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

00:11:03.160 But hey, thanks nonetheless.

00:11:05.120 And out of respect for their privacy, which they did ask me prior to me reading their emails.

00:11:10.660 Kept in the low ground.

00:11:11.780 So, tell you there's people out there that want to support my show, but they don't want to advertise their name or whatever.

00:11:16.700 That's fine.

00:11:17.520 I get it.

00:11:18.620 But thank you all the same.

00:11:20.160 You guys are awesome.

00:11:21.400 Give yourselves a round of applause there.

00:11:23.520 You guys are cool.

00:11:24.700 And I want to thank all my viewers from our last episode, too, for the kind of comments and words.

00:11:29.180 I'm getting a buildup here.

00:11:30.380 So, please click, like, subscribe, share this stuff all over your social media platform.

00:11:33.780 And we'll carry on with the rest of the Tuesday rant.

00:11:37.580 That's right.

00:11:37.980 More booze from PM Trudeau and Barbie and the global heat wave.

00:11:40.760 So, the prime minister was in Belleville recently.

00:11:44.460 And I'm not going to put a video up there.

00:11:46.320 We've all seen the footage.

00:11:47.620 CTV, CBC, Global, other independent outlets have put up there, too.

00:11:52.160 And there's just a rebuttal I want to say to Mr. Brian Littleley.

00:11:54.800 Now, I'll leave an article or a video in my description where he talks about how this might win Trudeau's favor.

00:12:02.280 Okay.

00:12:02.880 But I'd like to remind everybody, too.

00:12:05.120 And if anybody in Parliament, which I highly do, is watching this or listening to this podcast, pay attention carefully.

00:12:14.700 Okay.

00:12:14.860 Canadians aren't feeling very well.

00:12:21.660 Canadians don't believe the whole budget balance itself.

00:12:26.760 And Canadians don't believe in sunny ways. 0.99

00:12:29.260 And Canadians are getting really, really sick and tired of the BS coming from Ottawa in the name of virtue and wokeness and political correctness.

00:12:36.360 So, to summarize, they're pissed!

00:12:41.660 How else do I say it?

00:12:43.560 Canadians are mad.

00:12:45.460 Now, regardless of how unprofessional some of those individuals may be at said rally in Belleville, they have every right to speak their mind. 0.52

00:12:54.740 Okay?

00:12:55.320 If grown men and women can walk up and down every major city during the month of June for pride celebrations, being bare naked, showing off their genitalia, 0.95

00:13:06.380 and some of those pictures you're seeing grown-ass men walking around with, you know what, semi-chubs, advertising their freedom of expression,

00:13:13.560 then so can every other Canadian in this country, regardless of how you feel about certain agendas or mandates or what party you're in.

00:13:23.040 Okay?

00:13:24.220 So, Mr. Lilly, you should know better.

00:13:27.560 Now, I really don't think that this individual or those individuals are going to help Justin Trudeau in any matter.

00:13:35.340 Because a lot of Canucks are getting pissed.

00:13:38.200 Okay?

00:13:39.340 They're getting pissed.

00:13:41.380 And those individuals out there that think, bad words are violent.

00:13:45.120 Oh, my goodness.

00:13:45.980 How dare you?

00:13:47.400 Right?

00:13:47.680 Then you're missing the point.

00:13:51.640 Okay?

00:13:52.340 Now, if I was there observing, yeah, I'd probably say a few comments to him.

00:13:56.120 Say, hey, putz. 0.99

00:13:57.200 Hey, schmuck. 0.99

00:13:58.500 How's it going, sock boy? 0.99

00:14:00.140 How are your friends, WEF?

00:14:02.980 You still pining for a UN seat?

00:14:05.420 You still pining for your classy, Schwab?

00:14:08.260 You know, you like the bugs, you know, and you like it.

00:14:12.280 That's all.

00:14:12.700 You have all.

00:14:13.360 Hey! 0.99

00:14:14.460 You ever ask the questions here, right, Clothy?

00:14:16.460 And my little boy, little Papa Trudeau, there, he'll do everything for me.

00:14:21.080 Jawohl.

00:14:22.160 Right?

00:14:22.980 So, when it comes to people speaking out against the so-called violence in Belleville, there is no bloody violence.

00:14:29.320 There's anger.

00:14:31.220 And if you cannot see that anger, then I think you have a problem.

00:14:36.020 If you cannot see that rage and that letdown and that disappointment, okay, there's a lot of Canadians out there working 45 plus a week.

00:14:44.360 That's 45 hours or more a week trying to make sure the mortgage is paid, trying to make sure there's food in the fridge.

00:14:51.040 And there's more and more Canadian families, especially younger families out there, that are having a real struggle at it.

00:14:56.900 Both parents work, too.

00:15:00.380 And it's getting harder.

00:15:02.060 Oh, but it's not the federal government's fault.

00:15:03.800 It's the provincial.

00:15:04.820 Oh, it's not the provincial government's fault.

00:15:06.680 It's this guy's fault.

00:15:07.780 It's this girl's fault. 1.00

00:15:09.400 No. 0.97

00:15:09.780 It's the federal government putting a kibosh to markets in this country, which have created a lot of inflation based on the mandates from the pandemic, other mandates from inside the party, and this virtue teetotaling crap that every one of those clowns has promoted for what's going on in Europe. 0.91

00:15:28.880 And we all know what we're talking about here. 0.89

00:15:31.240 Okay?

00:15:31.600 And then printing money, printing money, printing money, give, spend, give, spend.

00:15:37.220 Oh, we have nothing for our social programs.

00:15:40.020 Well, let's create some more social programs in the name of virtue.

00:15:43.300 And then, you know, promise of a kiss and reach around and hope for the best.

00:15:49.960 I don't think so, ladies and gentlemen.

00:15:52.320 What do you think?

00:15:52.980 If you like to hear what you see, please click, like, and subscribe.

00:15:54.740 And please give me a like, give me a thumbs up, give me some comments when you see this podcast on any one of your social media platforms.

00:16:03.500 Interact, too.

00:16:04.100 And a special thank you out to more Rumblers.

00:16:06.260 I've got a few more subscribers.

00:16:08.140 Thank you, Rumble.

00:16:09.240 And thank you, Rumblers.

00:16:10.480 Keep it up.

00:16:11.260 Pass the word.

00:16:13.000 So, sorry to go off on a tangent there, but I remember Brian Marooney getting booed back in 1990.

00:16:20.560 And this was just after the free trade agreement was going through and just after he pushed the GST down everyone's throat.

00:16:29.220 Now, for those of you who don't remember, the GST came in in 1990 at $0.07 on the dollar.

00:16:35.980 Then, plus, you add your provincial sales tax.

00:16:38.300 At the time, I was living in Ontario.

00:16:39.960 So, I think our provincial sales tax was $0.06, I think, if I'm not mistaken.

00:16:45.080 But still, that becomes $0.13 on the dollar for taxes.

00:16:51.780 And the price of booze doubled and the price of cigarettes doubled.

00:16:55.640 So, luxuries that people needed because we were just starting to get out of a recession.

00:17:00.280 And here comes the Marooney Conservatives slamming down that increase in the name of the budget.

00:17:07.940 Now, the Marooney Conservatives were quite frivolous with spending, too.

00:17:13.200 So, that spoke for itself.

00:17:16.520 So, every time a federal government likes to spend, spend, spend, they all turn around and tax, tax, tax.

00:17:22.000 And then everything's just hunky-dory.

00:17:24.020 And then they get all concerned and pissed off.

00:17:26.200 Why are you throwing stones at us?

00:17:27.640 Why are you calling us names?

00:17:29.180 Please.

00:17:32.480 If they haven't figured it out 30 years ago, they're not going to figure it out now.

00:17:36.160 So, once again, to Mr. Brian Lilly, you've got every right to speak your mind and present your product.

00:17:45.220 But you've got to understand, Canucks are pissed.

00:17:48.780 A lot of us in Western Canada are pissed.

00:17:50.880 We've had enough.

00:17:51.580 We've had enough of the dogma.

00:17:54.420 We've had enough of the ideologues.

00:17:55.980 We've had enough of the agendas being thrown down our faces.

00:18:00.180 These parliamentarians forget that the parliament represents the people.

00:18:06.160 We don't represent the parliament.

00:18:08.420 The parliament represents the people.

00:18:10.020 And you as MPs and MLA's a leg, you have a responsibility.

00:18:17.560 Start being accountable.

00:18:19.860 It's that simple, ladies and gentlemen.

00:18:22.020 Sorry, I moved the camera there.

00:18:23.680 But start being accountable for what you do.

00:18:27.080 Start doing your effing jobs.

00:18:29.540 That simple.

00:18:30.300 And based on what I just read to you from the cabin shuffle, you know, some guys are getting fired.

00:18:37.280 But let's see. 0.64

00:18:37.700 If it was all up to me, you'd all be bloody fired. 0.70

00:18:41.120 Stay updated.

00:18:52.200 And welcome back to the Tuesday Rant, ladies and gentlemen, Krusty Canuck podcast, episode 218, Cabinet Shuffle, more booze for Trudeau, and the Barbie movie and the global heat wave.

00:19:05.440 I'm your host, Krusty Canuck.

00:19:06.400 Welcome back.

00:19:07.760 And like I say, if you like and hear what you see, please click like and subscribe, share this content all over your social media platform.

00:19:13.720 Help a guy myself, you know, help me out a bit here.

00:19:16.140 Pass the word around, ladies and gentlemen.

00:19:19.500 I'm not going to do an OnlyFans page.

00:19:21.000 I'm not going to do a spread anytime soon to make some quick cash to show off my hot body. 0.94

00:19:26.920 Anyway, I'm going to make a long story short.

00:19:32.240 I'm not going to bother with any more rhetoric.

00:19:34.660 It's just a matter of time before more and more people are going to see the light.

00:19:39.040 And I hate to say it, but there might be another convoy in the works if things don't change.

00:19:42.920 And with that convoy, of course, you're probably going to have a handful of people in Ottawa clenching their pearls, getting all scared and wonder about the inconveniences.

00:19:52.120 And, of course, you're going to call the police and there might be a fight.

00:19:57.300 That's the last thing I want to see.

00:19:58.680 And I'm assuming that you, my wonderful audience out there, that's the last thing you want to see too.

00:20:02.840 But things have got to change in this country.

00:20:05.880 There is nothing wrong with foreign aid as long as you're helping yourselves too.

00:20:09.840 There's nothing wrong with helping the little guy out as long as little guys in your country get a boost too.

00:20:16.060 Okay.

00:20:16.540 The amount of tax dollars the average Canadian is paying.

00:20:18.840 I think the last schematic I saw was something like 46 to 51% based on incomes.

00:20:26.980 Even 46% is way too bloody much.

00:20:32.080 I think you throw in the carbon taxes there too.

00:20:34.040 Oh, and the GST.

00:20:36.680 So tax and plus tax and the GST.

00:20:40.880 Yeah, it's not too funny.

00:20:43.360 Especially my wife and I and our neighbors were struggling to try to get ahead.

00:20:46.540 So we get our bills paid.

00:20:47.780 We get things sorted out.

00:20:48.840 Like I said, I had to borrow money, you know, a couple of weeks back.

00:20:52.800 But we can't get our savings in check.

00:20:55.560 Okay.

00:20:56.920 So I'll sacrifice more time.

00:20:58.580 Do some more shifts.

00:20:59.340 My wife went and got a second job. 0.73

00:21:00.780 So it's getting tough all over.

00:21:05.820 So when I see these individuals on Facebook and Twitter and other social media platforms bragging about what a great job these people are doing.

00:21:13.900 That's right.

00:21:14.860 Come on down and have yourselves on some rebates here. 0.98

00:21:17.880 Have yourself a carbon rebate.

00:21:19.300 Have yourself a grocery.

00:21:20.220 But we're doing you a favor.

00:21:21.840 No, they're not.

00:21:23.280 They're giving us back money that's already belonged to us.

00:21:25.980 So the people that buy the BS when it comes to grocery rebates and the so-called, you know, climate change rebates.

00:21:33.080 No, it's money that already belongs to us. 0.99

00:21:36.480 So they're buttering up a poop sandwich, calling it fucking peanut butter. 0.99

00:21:40.040 You know, do the math. 0.98

00:21:42.220 Anyway, carrying on with this episode 218.

00:21:44.760 I'm a little too angry here.

00:21:45.880 So I'm just going to carry on with the whole Barbie and global heat wave, too. 0.73

00:21:48.620 Now, we've all seen the Trudeau thing and the booze and all that, too.

00:21:51.760 And I think more will be coming, ladies and gentlemen.

00:21:53.920 So stay tuned.

00:21:54.700 Stay tuned to your local mainstream media and independent media outlets for updates.

00:22:00.440 Wait for it.

00:22:01.780 So the Barbie movie.

00:22:03.280 What can I say about it?

00:22:05.100 It's Barbie.

00:22:05.720 It was a toy company.

00:22:06.820 My sister had Barbies. 0.96

00:22:07.880 My cousins had Barbies.

00:22:10.840 Whoop-dee-doo. 0.97

00:22:12.200 You know?

00:22:12.620 And who cares?

00:22:15.360 Really?

00:22:15.980 Who cares?

00:22:17.240 You know?

00:22:17.540 Well, it's great that it's starring Margot Robbie.

00:22:22.700 Okay.

00:22:22.900 She's a talented actor.

00:22:24.860 She has so much dynamic range.

00:22:27.420 Ryan Gosling, Canadian lad.

00:22:29.060 You know, he's got some great range, too.

00:22:31.020 But from what I've read and what I've seen online in regards to Barbie movie, it's about

00:22:37.240 girl power fighting the patriarchy.

00:22:39.500 Oh.

00:22:40.700 Again, where have you seen that before?

00:22:42.940 Right?

00:22:43.240 See, all these companies with this woke mandate, they're going broke.

00:22:48.720 Disney is losing money on some of their BS.

00:22:52.080 You know?

00:22:52.560 A lot of the mainstream media television stations are starting to lose money because they're

00:22:58.080 promoting all this woke stuff.

00:23:01.780 Right?

00:23:02.460 Now, if you're against the woke, that doesn't mean you're a racist.

00:23:05.660 Doesn't mean you're a bigot.

00:23:06.440 Doesn't mean you're a misogynist.

00:23:07.960 It means you're tired of being preached at.

00:23:09.840 And when I watch a TV show or watch a movie, I want to escape the day.

00:23:14.460 I want to escape the week.

00:23:16.600 I want to escape, period, when you watch a good TV show.

00:23:19.960 I remember as a kid, I used to watch Miami Vice every Friday night. 0.98

00:23:22.860 Fucking loved it. 0.98

00:23:24.720 You know? 1.00

00:23:25.020 You're a 12-year-old boy, watch Miami Vice.

00:23:26.680 You're sitting there going, yeah, Don Johnson's pretty cool.

00:23:29.020 Yeah, right on.

00:23:29.860 Miami, yeah.

00:23:31.340 You know, sand, surf, babes.

00:23:33.100 Yeah, cool.

00:23:34.600 And you're getting right into it.

00:23:35.980 What a great way to escape.

00:23:37.620 When was the last time you saw a good cop show like that?

00:23:42.360 Now, you watch reruns of Miami Vice.

00:23:43.920 You got to admit, it's kind of cheesy and hokey.

00:23:45.860 But then again, you look at the style of Michael Mann, the way he puts together anything.

00:23:49.860 It's pretty cool.

00:23:51.680 Right?

00:23:52.140 But when was the last time you saw a show like that?

00:23:55.300 Honestly, when was the last time you saw a show like that?

00:23:58.860 When was the last time you saw some great comedy?

00:24:01.660 And I'm talking like Second City.

00:24:03.460 I'm talking like Kids in the Hall.

00:24:05.420 I know Kids in the Hall put a show on recently from Amazon, but I wasn't too thoroughly impressed.

00:24:10.300 I'm disappointing you lads.

00:24:12.380 You know, but when was the last time you saw anything great?

00:24:15.980 You know, so when Holloway keeps throwing out these movies all the time.

00:24:20.220 Okay, yeah, they might make some money.

00:24:21.620 They might lose some money.

00:24:22.740 But I highly recommend, ladies and gentlemen, we should check out movies like Sound of Freedom.

00:24:25.920 And it doesn't matter if you're a Christian, it doesn't matter if you're an atheist, it doesn't matter if you're Muslim, Jewish, it doesn't matter.

00:24:31.560 It's a story about a guy who's saving kids.

00:24:34.960 Like, talk about a hero story.

00:24:36.960 Really.

00:24:38.260 Fantastic.

00:24:38.780 So I recommend Sound of Freedom, ladies and gentlemen.

00:24:40.840 Or you can see Barbie if you want to, Oppenheimer, whatever.

00:24:43.020 But when it comes to all these little limericks and jokes and gimmicks they put together for the sake of, you know, entertaining you, you're really going to start thinking for yourself when it comes to watching a movie or going to see a movie.

00:24:56.480 You want to see it because you want to see it?

00:24:59.020 Or are you going to go see it because the TV sets out?

00:25:02.260 Right?

00:25:03.200 I got no desire to see Barbie.

00:25:04.660 I might go see it, you know, when it comes out on Netflix or Amazon or rental or download or whatever.

00:25:09.800 I don't know.

00:25:10.240 Well, that's my wife and I want to do because it's usually myself, my wife, we watch the movies together.

00:25:15.940 Right?

00:25:16.560 But you decide. 0.99

00:25:17.340 You know, who gives a shit about Barbie? 0.99

00:25:18.620 Really, it's a toy. 0.99

00:25:19.900 Right?

00:25:20.480 So worried about the false images that are presented to women.

00:25:22.880 Yet there are so many women that have advertised Barbie. 0.90

00:25:25.320 There's so many women who bought Barbie. 1.00

00:25:27.020 Right?

00:25:28.360 You know, you want to talk about false advertisement.

00:25:29.920 When you're a little kid, remember those He-Man dolls?

00:25:32.420 They were built like brick shithouses.

00:25:34.720 Do you not think that's unrealistic expectations for boys and men?

00:25:38.260 Hey?

00:25:39.700 I know.

00:25:40.580 Something to think about, ladies and gentlemen.

00:25:42.480 I'll be right back after this.

00:25:44.240 Stay updated.

00:25:45.400 And follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.

00:25:51.960 Subscribe today and donate at KrustyCanuck.ca.

00:25:55.300 We're back to episode 218 of the Tuesday Rant.

00:26:02.460 Krusty Canuck podcast, Cabinet Shuffle, more booze for PM Trudeau and Barbie and the global heat wave.

00:26:07.980 So the global heat wave, yes.

00:26:09.420 We're seeing all these reports about fires here, fires in Greece, fires still in Alberta, fires in BC, fires here.

00:26:15.180 Floods happening in Nova Scotia.

00:26:16.740 Oh, the bug, hate wave.

00:26:18.620 Oh, my God.

00:26:19.280 Climate change.

00:26:20.740 Maybe it's because we're having a hot summer and we in the Northern Hemisphere are really starting to feel it this time around.

00:26:26.840 Now, I can guarantee, too, based on what I've read, okay, Australia, Oceania, everything under the equator, they're going to have their summer come November, December, January.

00:26:41.260 So we'll see the reports then, too.

00:26:45.080 But I, for one, I'm just getting sick and tired of the hype and the climate emergency and all these kids that are gluing their hands and their faces to roads or throwing soup on paintings because, oh, we're making a difference.

00:26:56.460 You don't understand about oil and gas.

00:26:59.320 I understand plenty.

00:27:00.520 You go to the hospital, a lot of tubing on machinery is petroleum-based because it's made from plastics.

00:27:05.880 Half of the stuff we still buy in the grocery store has plastic wrapping.

00:27:09.940 Okay, this toque I'm wearing is not totally wool.

00:27:14.580 It's got some acrylic.

00:27:16.200 Well, it's got some plastic in it.

00:27:18.040 This microphone, everything that we use in our day-to-day lives is petroleum-based. 1.00

00:27:24.080 Stop blaming the human race for your idiocy. 0.99

00:27:28.360 Stop blaming humans for the change in the earth. 1.00

00:27:32.180 If there are ways we could go back in time and measure what the impact was when the dinosaurs roamed the earth, do you think we could maybe figure it out? 0.99

00:27:45.380 Our best guess is to figure that shit out through rock. 0.99

00:27:48.080 But we can't, can't we? 1.00

00:27:51.800 That'd just be stupid. 0.99

00:27:53.100 So let's enjoy what we have here now. 0.99

00:27:56.080 Let's work on how we can make our borders better.

00:27:59.520 Let's work on how we can be better people to each other.

00:28:01.900 And let's start working on relations when it comes to countries, cultures, identities.

00:28:06.900 Without worrying about woke mandates, the climate emergency.

00:28:10.240 If it was emergency, there'd be plans in place.

00:28:12.860 Would there not be?

00:28:13.460 You would think?

00:28:14.000 Do you think the governments would love us that much to incorporate some more plans?

00:28:17.880 No.

00:28:18.300 In this country, they want to abolish fossil fuels because I think it's going to do the world a favor.

00:28:23.360 Yet in China and India, they still use coal.

00:28:27.480 Parts of Indonesia, lots of coal.

00:28:30.460 I think the trick is, is to bring people out of energy poverty and let them have a chance to generate and create their own electricity,

00:28:38.140 create their own energy without being reliant on other nations all the time.

00:28:42.540 Okay?

00:28:42.760 Okay.

00:28:44.000 We've got to smarten up in this country when it comes to business relations.

00:28:47.840 We do have a business model for LNG.

00:28:50.480 We do have a business model for uranium, too, when it comes to building nuclear reactors.

00:28:54.880 We should have some more nuclear, get some more refineries built in this country, and sell our product overseas.

00:29:01.100 So people can say, hey, Canadians got it right. 1.00

00:29:04.880 They got some great fossil fuels, eh?

00:29:07.380 Don't you think so?

00:29:08.960 Germany thought so.

00:29:10.060 Japan thought so.

00:29:11.520 But our beloved sock puppet aficionado, you know, potato boy said there's no business case for it.

00:29:16.920 Yeah, because they want to annihilate it, right?

00:29:20.660 So, when we talk about heat waves and stuff, maybe we're going to have a record summer.

00:29:26.180 That's happened in our history before.

00:29:27.980 We've had some record hot summers and some record cold winters.

00:29:31.080 And come this winter, where I live here in Alberta, if anyone's going to screw with my ability to heat my home, then we're just going to have to screw with you.

00:29:41.460 That simple.

00:29:42.240 Anyway, I've been Krusty Canuck on this beautiful 25th of July, 2023, for my Tuesday rant.

00:29:49.580 Please stay tuned.

00:29:50.320 Every Tuesday, I put the Tuesday rant up.

00:29:52.040 And every other Saturday, I put an episode up with a regular podcast result to enjoy and listen to.

00:29:57.040 I highly recommend Northern Perspective.

00:29:58.640 They're decent people.

00:29:59.500 They're a married couple from Ontario.

00:30:01.160 They make some great videos, too.

00:30:02.560 Check out Jeremy McKenzie.

00:30:03.980 Check out Independent Media.

00:30:05.100 Greg Wycliffe.

00:30:06.940 Daniel Boardman.

00:30:09.160 Aaron Gunn.

00:30:10.560 Rebel.

00:30:11.400 True North.

00:30:12.240 And wherever else tickles your fancy.

00:30:14.560 And to get your own perspective on things, ladies and gentlemen.

00:30:17.960 Where I work, I have time to listen to podcasts while I'm feeding, while I'm moving this, moving that.

00:30:22.300 And I can listen and work at the same time and get things done.

00:30:25.160 But still be well-informed.

00:30:26.740 And that's your responsibility, too, ladies and gentlemen.

00:30:28.920 Do your best to be well-informed.

00:30:30.060 But like I say, I've been Krusty Canuck on this beautiful 25th of July, 2023.

00:30:36.080 I wish nothing but good things for you all out there.

00:30:38.340 And take some extra time to be with your kids, your family, and loved ones.

00:30:45.440 Drink lots of water.

00:30:46.200 It's going to be hot because climate emergency.

00:30:49.300 Anyhow.

00:30:50.160 But just do what you can to help each other in these trying times.

00:30:53.340 And like I always say, ladies and gentlemen, humanity and merit wins the day.

00:30:57.160 Take care and probably see you this Saturday.

00:31:00.020 Bye for now.

00:31:04.480 Hit it, sweetheart. 1.00

00:31:06.700 Because I am hard, you will not like me.

00:31:09.400 Yes, sir.

00:31:13.060 There is no racial bigotry here.

00:31:17.660 There you are all equally working.

00:31:19.600 This has been another episode of the Krusty Canuck podcast.

00:31:25.740 Stay sane.

00:31:26.680 And thank you for listening.

00:31:28.200 From Western Canada.

00:31:29.580 This is the Krusty Canuck podcast. 1.00

00:31:35.100 Well, smack my ass and call me Judy. 1.00

00:31:37.900 Thank you for listening. 1.00
