00:01:17.540 i'm your host crusty connect on this beautiful july saturday beautiful alberta anyway yes cabinet

00:01:24.320 shuffle that's big in the news now too not to mention some other things that are happening

00:01:27.900 around the globe and in this country uh however let's focus on the cabinet shuffle right now

00:01:32.840 because when we look at our leadership we expect to uh you know we expect people to perform expect

00:01:38.700 our leaders to shine however the past eight years has proven otherwise and if you like it here to see

00:02:05.160 so give yourselves a round of applause for being such loyal subscribers and think about giving to them

00:02:11.120 anyway carrying on episode 219 the liberal cabinet shuffle who cares now this is just off the cuff

00:02:17.000 i've got some uh links and stuff i'll put in the description for you there ladies and gentlemen

00:02:20.560 but when you look at these these cabinet shuffles okay you look at these cabinet shuffles and they

00:02:26.020 talk about how uh we've got this person who innovates and that person innovates and this person who does

00:02:31.220 this and this person does that and they have great portfolios to make it just that much more

00:02:36.420 magical for you and i yeah right okay so i'll just clip a little link here i got from uh you know

00:02:44.020 a beautiful communist uh news link in our country called that they may say and see what they have

00:02:50.920 to say about this too and when you look at certain individuals that have been uh given positions and

00:02:55.940 taken out of certain positions uh we could speculate that certain individuals were probably let go for a 1.00

00:03:02.580 very good reason because they're incompetent because they're idiots and they're just just not all too bright 0.99

00:03:08.320 you know what i mean just not that bright altogether so anyway i'll carry on here i'll add this link 1.00

00:03:13.120 from the cbc in regards to who will be calling the shots uh in certain key cabinet positions for the

00:03:21.740 remainder of our liberal government so we'll see how this works here too so i've got the position here

00:03:29.860 cue this up here i don't know it's just getting ridiculous how many people are coming and going in

00:03:36.480 these uh these positions for our government it must be nice to be elected and to have uh you know

00:03:43.060 key positions in our parliament in our government as we speak too so i'll just uh leave this link here

00:03:49.740 and i'll read up and down for you as old too on how this works so we'll start from the top of the page

00:03:56.220 take notes ladies and gentlemen please please any questions in the class please just raise your hand

00:04:01.420 and i'll get to them as soon as possible enough of that stuff so here's the position now there's a

00:04:07.640 a little schematic here i'll leave this link in my description too who's new to cabinet the orange

00:04:12.440 means remains minister with a new role and the red means no longer in cabinet so president of the

00:04:18.340 treasury board of course monia forte she's gone and anita arnand arnand the previous defense minister

00:04:24.840 is taking over treasury board minister of public services and procurement is no longer helena jayzik

00:04:30.320 she's left politics oh poor girl and mr former health minister jean leave the clou yeah procurement

00:04:38.100 okay minister of public safety democratic institutions and your governmental affairs that's a mouthful isn't

00:04:43.860 it for this position dominic leblanc a guy who ended up giving some kind of oyster contract

00:04:48.820 to his cousin yeah no uh you know no conflict of interest there too minister of transport is no longer

00:04:55.640 it is now pablo rodriguez the man that promoted c18 c11 c36 more or less meaning he wanted to

00:05:04.620 censor us whatever what a putz minister of mental health and addictions it was carolyn bennett you 1.00

00:05:12.620 know the lady that promoted the safe use that encouraged people to take legal safe drugs is now

00:05:18.420 being looked after by yara sacks now we all remember yara sacks okay i did an episode of her last year

00:05:24.380 she sat in parliament saying that hong kong meant heil you know little man with mustache right right 0.96

00:05:32.980 saying that there's guns everywhere the riots were out of control and yet she is in charge of the

00:05:39.060 mental health ticket 0.98

00:05:40.600 that's scary shit anyway minister of justice and attorney general of canada 0.97

00:05:50.340 erif verani takes over from david lamenti uh david lamenti you know the guy who says we don't have 0.98

00:05:56.380 private property and him and mark mendocino were joking about sending tanks into the convoy

00:06:01.700 you know it was just a joke but he tweeted it anyway too uh minister of crown indigenous relations

00:06:07.260 uh was mark miller now it's gary and desangri i think i pronounced that right so needless to say

00:06:14.520 so there's quite a bit of shuffling going on here who has these different positions now there's

00:06:19.800 minister of citizen services it's a new portfolio so it's a new position okay a new position so we

00:06:27.860 have all this money to create these great government jobs that benefit a handful of government officials

00:06:33.080 while we stick it up our butts right yeah progress anyhow uh minister of national revenue

00:06:40.220 it was diane laboutier now it's marie claude bibot okay marie claude how much how much more money do you

00:06:46.860 need from guys like me think about that okay minister of national defense it was anita arnand

00:06:51.940 now it's bill blair bill blair former toronto police chief you know there's videos of him on youtube

00:07:01.480 as he was the police chief talking about how they cracked down on some gang guns and it was his suggestion

00:07:07.660 prior to the oic in may of 2020 to crack down on private gun ownership and they used the nova 0.99

00:07:15.100 scotia shootings as an excuse and he's part of that fucking filth trap so yeah he's going to be a 0.90

00:07:20.220 great minister of national defense sure he will okay minister of employment workforce development and 0.98

00:07:26.480 disability inclusion okay like that's that's a mouthful what kind of ministry is that that's going 0.92

00:07:32.400 off to randy bosunel okay like just wow you know minister of housing infrastructure and communities

00:07:40.100 it's a newly combined previously minister of housing and diversity and inclusion and minister of

00:07:44.760 intergovernmental affairs infrastructure and communities so they combined all of these

00:07:49.460 so yes they they created jobs

00:07:53.840 for taxpayer well it's it's you're gonna be paid in taxpayers money to create this job

00:08:00.080 that's what it is so not only have a new shuffle 0.99

00:08:03.260 we have uh a new positions just made up pull out of their ass here you go 0.99

00:08:08.060 here's a job for you right like holy shit i'll leave this link in my description i'm just reading this 0.99

00:08:13.900 going wow leader of government in the house of commons was mark holland you know mr bow tie 0.54

00:08:19.420 and now it's kareena gold one of the actual architects of censoring the internet too interesting 1.00

00:08:26.280 minister of health was john leave to close you know now it's mark holland minister of international

00:08:32.680 development was harjeet sajan now it's amand hussein minister of diversity inclusion and persons with

00:08:39.660 disabilities a new standalone portfolio previously part of the minister of housing diversity and inclusion

00:08:45.100 right it goes to kamal kara right so we have all these diversity and inclusion platforms

00:08:51.860 like just wow minister of agriculture and agri-food well you don't need agri-food you just

00:08:58.540 ministry of agriculture like you have to hyphen all that was murier claude bubo now it's lawrence

00:09:03.880 mccalee right minister of tourism was randy borsenal now it's soria martinez ferrata

00:09:09.120 minister responsible for the economic development agency of canada and the regions of quebec

00:09:15.340 why can't you just say economic development

00:09:18.220 pascal saint onge who's now you know heritage minister you know so she has two of them tourism

00:09:26.280 and multitask oh wow minister of tourism is now soria martinez ferrata who took it over from randy

00:09:35.240 and minister responsible for the economic development agency of canada the regions of

00:09:39.460 quebec pascal saint onge was now it's soria martinez ferrata so she has two jobs oh outstanding

00:09:45.380 that's great double the pay double dip double dip double dip minister of immigration refugees and

00:09:50.780 citizenship was sean fraser now it's mark miller minister of labor and seniors newly combined

00:09:57.080 previously minister of labor and minister of seniors kamal kara was now it's seamus or reagan

00:10:03.620 so not only is he looking after labor force he's looking after the seniors too

00:10:07.380 i hope to god he actually tries to do something better than what he did as the minister of

00:10:11.940 you know veterans affairs i'll be getting to that shortly minister of veterans affairs lawrence

00:10:16.900 mccauley now is jeanette perpitas taylor wow minister of sport and physical activity

00:10:23.260 was pascal saint onge now it's carla qualtrow president of the king's privy council for canada

00:10:28.460 wow no it was bill blair now it's harjeet sajan that poor poor excuse of a defense minister

00:10:39.380 who said he spearheaded and figured out the whole op medusa thing back in 2006 which we all know was

00:10:45.980 bullshit right minister of emergency preparedness oh it was bill blair now it's harjeet sajan again so 0.57

00:10:53.060 more double dipping double duties right right right and minister of cane heritage was pablo rodiga's 0.99

00:10:59.260 mr i like to censor the internet now it's given to pascal saint onge yes okay yeah great minister of

00:11:05.820 families children and social development karina gold now it's brought to jenna thud yay new person

00:11:11.600 there here you go jenna minister of small business how come we just can't say minister of business

00:11:16.880 right a new standalone portfolio previously part of the minister of export promotion small business

00:11:22.300 and economic development so just a big merger was mary ing now it's richie valdez minister of

00:11:28.780 official languages jeanette pepitas taylor now it's off to randy boss and all minister responsible for

00:11:34.840 the atlantic canada opportunities agency why can't you just say minister of atlantic or atlantic affairs

00:11:40.580 that's something right now it's it was uh jeanette pepitas she she was double dipped too at one time

00:11:46.440 well now it's given to that lady uh giddy hutchings she remember her she was lady that said oh do you

00:11:53.660 have an fac do you have an fac do you have an fac she still calls it an fac when it's called an r pal

00:11:58.460 and pal now and she is swore that she likes to hunt bear with the 22 can you say you know

00:12:05.860 wow i guess crack doesn't smoke itself jesus christ ladies and gentlemen anyhow i'll leave this in the

00:12:12.560 description for you as all to follow at your own leisure but that is the change around that is the

00:12:17.400 portfolios they're trying to promote just the canadian taxpayers too so when i look at that list

00:12:23.400 of individuals that are supposed to be qualified to do something spectacular and something innovative

00:12:28.780 we know it's a con ladies and gentlemen we know it's a con so are we really disappointed

00:12:34.420 are we really surprised that the new innovations that we have in this country government wow i tell

00:12:41.040 you my twitter feed is leading lighting up as we speak right now too because every comment that i see

00:12:47.320 the liberal party or any liberal cabinet member make in regards to uh the workers handout and the

00:12:53.380 grocery rebates they keep saying i counterpoint that with simple facts it's like you're giving back

00:12:58.740 money to canadians that they already have earned right so you're taking out of our pockets and

00:13:03.280 you're giving us pennies back that's what it is so this shuffle is nothing more than just smoke and

00:13:08.100 mirrors as far as i'm concerned honestly tell me what you think you can reach me across to be

00:15:58.940 that is right cabinet shuffle who cares now honestly when you think about it you always

00:16:03.580 look forward to a new cabinet shuffle you kind of look forward to an election but in the same sense

00:16:07.960 can we afford another election right now now i know i said my last uh tuesday rant uh it was

00:16:13.000 economically sound what i meant to say was it's economically unsound emphasis on those two letters

00:16:19.940 unfound so my apologies for any kind of confusion there too and uh if you have any additional

00:16:26.700 information and you feel like correcting me about something by all means send me an email or put

00:16:32.580 something in the comments i don't mind but if you want to be cruel and nasty and pull some social

00:16:37.280 justice warrior card on me we'll debate and guess who will come out and talk say moi aussi there you go

00:16:44.220 anyway carrying on with this episode now when i look at this uh this shuffle i i think it's just

00:16:50.780 just a play on words and a play on positions okay because when i look at every minister of national

00:16:55.520 offense we've had since 2015 and i i'm showing a bias here because i'm ex-military i served i did my

00:17:03.980 thing i worked for some good people and i worked for some not so good people i did good things there's

00:17:11.320 times i fucked up and i owned it but in the same sense i still left the military with some dignity 0.91

00:17:17.080 and some pride and respect for myself and for my fellow brethren what i don't respect is the 0.85

00:17:23.380 leadership that's being presented to us today the leadership has been presented to us i would say in

00:17:29.080 the better part of seven years and i'm not just talking about the um the liberal bs and how they treat

00:17:36.300 the portfolio i'm talking about how they treat the men and women that want to live and serve this 0.99

00:17:42.880 country and those individuals that would take a bullet in a fucking heartbeat you're looking at 0.98

00:17:47.820 one okay in regards of the problems i have had in regards of the conclusions i came to and the 0.99

00:17:54.820 ailments i have overcome and some of the demons i have slayed and some of the demons that still linger

00:17:59.780 on occasion and say hello i'm still here and i'm still proud to say that i served but i'm not proud

00:18:07.640 to say that we have a military right now that's not doing so well and that's not because of the men and

00:18:13.660 women in uniform that's because of some of the senior brass and the politicians that are calling the shots 1.00

00:18:19.180 so put that in your pipe and smoke it and take it for what it is okay there are too many individuals 0.94

00:18:28.920 and so-called know-it-alls that think they know what's fucking best for you the troops and what the 0.97

00:18:35.700 rest of the civilian population procurement in this country is a joke why because they can't slap and 0.99

00:18:41.200 tickle each other enough to understand reality okay and i've actually heard some politicians say

00:18:47.340 well my constituents don't want this and some constituents don't want that and my constituents

00:18:53.060 needed this and my constituents needed that and i'm thinking well i'm pretty sure the consensus with

00:18:58.160 most constituents even the ones i talked to when i was doing my campaign as a member of the veterans

00:19:04.940 coalition party they were all in agreement when it comes to upgrading our military okay upgrading i'm not

00:19:13.760 saying put in some new papers here and some new plumbing there and a few flashy haircuts here and a few woke

00:19:20.100 individuals here now they were talking about proper equipment proper procurement proper diplomacy and proper

00:19:27.200 values and defending this country as a whole not just defending someone's honor here and someone's honor

00:19:33.200 there right with our population now reading reaching 40 million people you would think the powers that be in

00:19:41.840 ottawa would generally get up the ante okay now a lot of people have praised miss anita arnand

00:19:49.720 for some of her work there's an article in the ottawa citizen that said she was trying her damnedest to

00:19:56.040 get this done get that done and the liberals just shoved her under the bus because the liberals have a 1.00

00:20:00.280 different mandate when it comes to our military well i don't believe the liberals and i don't believe miss

00:20:05.180 anand either okay because the first thing that she tried to do when she got to become the defense minister

00:20:13.120 was worry about the sexual harassment complaints that were going on now don't get me wrong here ladies and gentlemen

00:20:18.440 i don't tolerate that kind of behavior from any man or any woman in uniform

00:20:24.060 and those individuals that are responsible for some of the heinous acts that were committed

00:20:29.380 against some of our female and male personnel over the past 10 15 years deserve to be punished

00:20:36.420 to the highest regard of the law but you punish those individuals you don't punish the whole service

00:20:43.980 you don't punish the whole navy you don't punish the whole army and you definitely don't punish the

00:20:48.520 whole air force you punish those individuals that are responsible that's how it's done how many times

00:20:54.520 we've heard cases about certain rcmp officers doing this or certain toronto police officers doing that

00:20:59.380 or certain opp or security security de quebec doing this and doing that you punish all those police

00:21:06.380 services no you punish those people responsible okay so hats off to her for trying to get down to

00:21:15.100 the business to get this thing done but there was more problems at hand a hell of a lot more problems

00:21:21.580 at hand to worry about and her big claim to fame is what getting the f-35 jet oh that's great and

00:21:28.080 what when's the first one delivered to us it's going to happen what maybe 2025 2026 great so we have a

00:21:35.520 tiny military in such a tiny little budget yet we can give away billions in a freaking heartache 0.98

00:21:41.440 there's still controversy over the 93 billion dollars that katherine mckenna you know climate barbie 1.00

00:21:46.980 the former liberal mp the former ministry uh or uh minister of the environment okay gave away to

00:21:57.100 somebody or went missing she was in charge of infrastructure too i think her last term in in

00:22:01.800 government and all this money's gone missing interesting so there's still talk about that where did it go

00:22:10.220 what's happening so when you procure things for this country why is it so hard to upgrade our

00:22:17.380 military is there some kind of conspiracy is there some kind of uh unseen force calling it the shots 0.96

00:22:25.120 for us or is it just blatant fucking laziness right i think it's blatant laziness and i think it's 0.97

00:22:32.380 blatant disregard because there's a lot of people in this country still with the mentality where well 0.98

00:22:38.140 we're peacekeepers we don't need this oh we keep the peace we don't need equipment 0.79

00:22:43.820 bullshit in order to keep the peace you have to learn how to fight for it and in order to fight for

00:22:50.960 the peace you got to have the gear right so it's it's it's logical we don't have to have a big humongous 0.98

00:22:58.720 service like our friends down south but with what we have in regards to resources their freedoms we

00:23:06.620 hold dear and our land masses we deserve a better uh a better military okay and considering the amount

00:23:14.560 of taxes that the average can is paying for said government services you would think the government

00:23:21.400 would get a grip on that but i guess they haven't okay conservatives try to do a bit in the 80s didn't

00:23:28.040 really work out the harper conservatives try to do a bit around 2010 to 2014 didn't really work out

00:23:33.960 why is that and now when the liberals get a hold of everything cut cut cut cut spend spend spend spend 0.77

00:23:41.900 okay now there's a reason why our american friends are on our asses about this whole thing

00:23:47.220 for the simple reason is that they don't believe they should foot the bill for anybody and rightfully so

00:23:53.740 right we have to trust our allies as allies they're allies for a reason because

00:24:00.640 we probably think alike when it comes to democracy and freedoms we probably think alike when it comes

00:24:05.860 to personal liberties and we also think alike when it comes to defending this country we hear all these

00:24:11.200 yahoos and these wackos in parliament talk about defending our sovereignty and defending democracy and 1.00

00:24:16.920 freedom yet you don't want to defend canadian democracy and freedoms to you liberals out there it's a joke

00:24:24.760 right is this a joke is it do we have to be ashamed of it why because there's parts of our history that are

00:24:36.200 just terrible yeah there is parts of our history that's terrible there's also parts of our history that's

00:24:42.000 fucking glorious too and wonderful

00:24:44.320 that's got to be defended but when i hear these these politicians talk and these so-called leaders 0.99

00:24:54.360 that know it all come up with these great ideas and yet nothing comes to fruition but there's more

00:25:00.020 billions being spent over here and over there and not here not here in this country why are you

00:25:07.780 pining for a seat in the un are you pining for some kind of world recognition we are a laughing

00:25:13.620 stock to our nato allies more so now than what we were in the 90s and that was the decade of darkness

00:25:20.480 and you talk to any man and any woman that served in the 1990s especially during the balkan conflicts

00:25:28.320 and you'll know big time you'll know big time why it was a decade of darkness not because of the

00:25:35.660 soldiers not because of what was going on in europe at that time what was going on in ottawa and with

00:25:41.960 senior leadership and they'll give you a better perspective big time right so this cabinet shuffle

00:25:49.120 this big big shuffle that's right episode 219 who cares yeah really who cares because again we have

00:25:56.280 more unqualified people calling the shots and i read to you about certain cabinet positions that

00:26:01.420 were just created and merged in the name of diversity and inclusion i believe in giving someone a job

00:26:10.060 that earns it not because they're this or because they're that or because they stick their face here

00:26:15.760 or stick their fingers there or stick their nose there it's because they have what it takes

00:26:20.500 regardless of color or creed or religious or political belief

00:26:25.660 or whatever language you speak that's the point that's the point of merit that's why my motto is

00:26:34.240 humanity and merit wins the day meaning you do your best to be good to people and you earn something

00:26:40.220 all those names that i read off yeah they were elected

00:26:44.260 but how much have they really earned ladies and gentlemen how much other than the base salary of

00:26:52.440 189 or 190 000 plus the ministerial uh perk i think is roughly about 240 or 260 a year

00:27:00.520 so it's quite a bit of money a quite a bit of money they get paid to sit there and smile look pretty

00:27:08.680 and saying we're fighting for the little guy here if you're fighting for a little guy you would

00:27:14.540 abolish the carbon tax you would abolish the following bills c11 c18 c36 c69 c48 c75 c21 c5

00:27:26.640 and whatever else is in the works behind our backs as i sit here and vent to all you wonderful people

00:27:35.000 to me canada is a place of liberty and we can do better in the name of liberty and democracy

00:27:43.340 i don't care what you believe in i don't care what you say i'll take voltaire's quote right here

00:27:50.120 i may disagree with what you're saying but i'll fight for your right to say it that's classical liberalism

00:27:55.940 right at its finest which is based on liberty right

00:28:02.320 basic liberty right i was looking at my paycheck there last week and i realized okay

00:28:12.060 yeah this is working out and i get to pay the debt that i owe my friends who gave me a hand which is

00:28:18.480 good and i still see some squanderings about student loans and oh how can i pay this back when i'm not

00:28:25.620 finding a job in my set profession and well you take a loan you pay it back and it doesn't matter if you 0.93

00:28:31.200 take underwater basket weaving or gender studies or a crt or fucking rocket science you borrow money 0.96

00:28:40.220 you put it back okay now there's a big strike going on in toronto uh the metro grocery uh food chain 0.98

00:28:47.400 uh there's i think 3700 workers that are on strike now and the majority of them are part-time workers

00:28:54.720 okay now i can understand helping the little guy out when you need to i can understand you protect

00:29:00.220 your workers no matter what union you're with when the workers are really being treated unfairly

00:29:04.900 okay but here's something to think about if you work a part-time job and you don't strive to get

00:29:13.840 into a full-time position or strive to do better with your life and that's not on the union or the

00:29:21.460 store you work for that's on you okay if you expect to make a killing part-time in a grocery

00:29:30.240 chain or any kind of agricultural chain or any kind of food service industry you're wasting our 0.97

00:29:36.900 fucking time and you're wasting your own too okay now i meant i'm kind of lucky to find the full-time 0.96

00:29:45.260 job that i have right and business is getting kind of slow right now so i'm at work i try to do things 0.99

00:29:52.120 to keep me busy for a good solid eight hours if i can

00:29:55.120 and the less i work the less i get paid it's that simple but i'm still on average making about 40 to

00:30:04.080 45 hours a week to the best of my ability now come the fall it'll probably go up to about 50 hours or

00:30:10.460 more a week based on cattle and based what i have to feed and all that good stuff and i've worked in

00:30:16.780 grocery chains before too and i know what it takes to keep a job in a grocery chain now whether corporate

00:30:24.920 says this or corporate says that yeah there are some record profits going on in there too but there's

00:30:30.100 also something called the carbon tax that is really sticking it up the chuffs of the canadian taxpayer

00:30:36.600 so the more we get rid of these taxes the more incentive that some of these companies might

00:30:44.520 have to give you a full-time job but here's a simple incentive okay if you're working part-time

00:30:51.860 in a deli counter or part-time at a produce section or part-time in grocery and you're sitting 0.99

00:30:59.020 there complaining because you're not making enough money get off your ass and find something else to do 0.99

00:31:06.600 it's that simple what else are you good at what else can you do soul search look at what you can 1.00

00:31:15.980 offer something what can you do to do better okay now there are greedy people out there and there

00:31:22.560 are greedy companies out there but in the same sense too look who's controlling the money in this

00:31:27.100 country look who's controlling the housing rates in this country look who's controlling the transportation

00:31:34.280 look who's controlling the taxes and the revenue you can blame this guy sure it's easy that way too

00:31:41.980 all these record profits but while you're complaining about these corporations and their record profits

00:31:46.660 how come you're not talking about the bank of canada and the record profits they had and the bonuses

00:31:50.940 they gave themselves in the past two years how come you're not complaining about your local mp

00:31:55.200 who gladly took a raise four times since covid started how about you not talking about your mpp

00:32:03.900 or mla that had a healthy raise how many times since 2020 puts things in perspective though ladies and

00:32:11.840 gentlemen i'm not dissing anybody who works for a living because i work for a living so does my wife

00:32:16.280 so does my family my father was a firefighter for a very long time for the better part of 31 years

00:32:22.340 and he still found work to do afterwards to keep the money going he was smart with his coin back in

00:32:28.520 the 70s and 80s so he knew what to do good for him but he still worked it's that simple and it

00:32:35.220 doesn't matter what profession you get into you as the individual doing the work you have to better

00:32:41.600 yourself it's not your boss it's not your wife or your husband or your boyfriend or wherever you call

00:32:46.900 a lover you got to make those decisions it's that simple right so yes strike if you're being treated

00:32:55.900 unfairly but if you expect glory and utopia for 16 bucks an hour part-time come on you probably got a

00:33:05.660 reality problem because really you know i i've done two part-time jobs when i left the service i was

00:33:12.020 working two part-time part-time jobs at once okay and it's difficult but it still work and it worked

00:33:19.920 out i still have money to pay my bills and some money to put in the bank prior to this inflation

00:33:25.740 and things were okay they weren't perfect but they're all right let's say again if you expect glory

00:33:32.540 out of working 20 hours a week or 25 hours a week you know and expect to put a down payment on that car

00:33:39.760 or put a down payment on that home if you can afford it
