00:00:00.920 A good evening, everybody. It's a beautiful 5th of February, 2025.
00:00:05.840 Coming up this episode, the Krustyak Podcast, episode 336.
00:00:09.500 Heading into annexation, question mark?
00:00:12.280 30 days until we sort our issues out with the border.
00:00:15.880 Or Mr. Trump will increase the tariffs.
00:00:18.760 Or, who knows, annexation maybe?
00:00:21.560 Maybe a bit of an argument? Who knows?
00:00:24.220 All that more coming to the podcast.
00:00:25.660 Please stick around. Listener view discretion is advised,
00:00:28.080 because I will swear, smoke cigarettes, make fun of people,
00:00:31.120 Canadians, Americans, some Brits, you name it.
00:00:32.980 And I will just carry on as per.
00:00:35.460 See you in a bit.
00:00:41.640 Hit it, sweetheart.
00:00:43.880 Because I am hard, you will not like me.
00:00:46.660 Yes, sir.
00:00:50.300 There is no racial bigotry here.
00:00:54.880 There you are all.
00:00:58.080 From Western Canada,
00:01:01.080 this is the Krustyak Podcast.
00:01:03.660 A Canadian veteran's point of view
00:01:05.720 on political, social, economic issues, and life.
00:01:09.880 Here's Krusty.
00:01:13.240 That's right, ladies and gentlemen.
00:01:14.360 Welcome to episode 336, the Krustyak Podcast.
00:01:17.120 Heading into annexation.
00:01:18.740 30 days and then what?
00:01:20.400 Tsk, tsk, tsk.
00:01:21.200 This podcast is brought to you in part by,
00:01:23.180 and supported by,
00:01:24.620 Veterans for Freedom Network.
00:01:25.620 That's right, Stan 2, Veterans for Freedom.
00:01:27.780 And coming soon, I know I keep saying that,
00:01:30.040 Veterans for Freedom TV,
00:01:31.360 like my individuals such as myself and other veterans,
00:01:33.760 will be having our podcast on that network soon.
00:01:36.620 So stay tuned for that.
00:01:38.080 Hi, everybody.
00:01:38.640 I'm your host, Krustyak.
00:01:39.620 Hope you've had a wonderful couple of days.
00:01:41.760 Hope everything is tickety-boo, hunky-dory,
00:01:43.760 all that good stuff.
00:01:44.640 And even though the plight of our nation is in balance,
00:01:47.940 we will carry on nonetheless.
00:01:53.980 It's funny.
00:01:54.740 At work today, as I was working, I listened to the news.
00:01:57.900 I listened to podcasts.
00:01:58.900 I put the radio on.
00:01:59.840 I listened to news broadcasts.
00:02:01.200 Just to keep my mind off the hum of those engines
00:02:03.620 every time I'm working,
00:02:04.600 when I'm moving snow or manure,
00:02:05.900 or I'm feeding cattle,
00:02:07.580 that the engines have a certain hum.
00:02:09.140 So the podcast help, right?
00:02:11.340 When I listen to other points of view,
00:02:12.940 from Clyde Do Something or Moose No Loose,
00:02:14.840 they've got great shows.
00:02:15.880 Radio Reaction, great show.
00:02:16.960 Northern Perspective, great show.
00:02:18.580 And I all get the same consensus
00:02:20.840 that there are a few more Canadians out there now,
00:02:24.160 let's say what there was 20 years ago,
00:02:25.980 that really get this idea
00:02:28.000 that maybe joining the States isn't a bad thing.
00:02:31.420 Okay.
00:02:32.060 Now, in my 20s, I used to despise,
00:02:35.540 I used to despise a lot of the pro-war mandates
00:02:39.280 and the pro-war attitudes
00:02:40.960 because in Canada at that time,
00:02:46.160 you know, we lived a pretty good life,
00:02:49.640 you know,
00:02:50.460 even though prior to my time joining the military,
00:02:53.860 life was good for Canadians.
00:02:55.920 Healthcare, jobs, economics,
00:02:58.020 things were stable,
00:02:59.460 you know, they weren't perfect,
00:03:00.440 but they were stable.
00:03:01.960 And then when I got into the military
00:03:03.040 and within at least the first five years,
00:03:05.240 I could really see the devastation
00:03:07.620 that the federal government has caused
00:03:09.060 for our military.
00:03:11.280 Okay.
00:03:11.520 Now, this episode is not just geared towards
00:03:13.760 how Canada treats its soldiers
00:03:16.080 and how America treats its soldiers.
00:03:17.900 I'm getting up to the point
00:03:19.060 about the annexation idea
00:03:20.420 and the ideology behind it.
00:03:22.280 And I'll have some articles here for you
00:03:24.280 to look at at your leisure per se.
00:03:27.400 But when you see the contrast
00:03:28.980 between both our countries,
00:03:30.260 you can obviously say and agree
00:03:32.360 whether you disagree with Mr. Trump
00:03:34.100 or whether you disagree with certain presidents
00:03:36.740 of before,
00:03:38.720 the United States gets shit done
00:03:40.940 when they have to.
00:03:43.280 Okay.
00:03:44.100 They have a notable record of humanitarian aid.
00:03:46.340 They have a notable record of fighting the bad guy,
00:03:49.420 getting the bad guy.
00:03:51.360 But they've also lost a lot of people
00:03:53.120 in the process doing it too.
00:03:55.020 I, for one, I believe we should go to war
00:03:57.000 if we absolutely have to as a last resort
00:04:00.520 or if we're being invaded.
00:04:02.740 Now, Canada right now
00:04:05.800 does not have a pot to piss in.
00:04:08.020 And Donald Trump has noticed that.
00:04:09.840 And he mentioned that before
00:04:10.740 the first time he was president.
00:04:12.260 And I was noticing again.
00:04:14.060 Now, whether he's trolling
00:04:15.440 to get on the prime minister's case or not,
00:04:18.220 or the whole liberal cabinet's case or not,
00:04:20.600 there are some Americans
00:04:21.400 that would think it would be a pretty good idea
00:04:22.960 if we became the 51st state.
00:04:26.540 Excuse me.
00:04:27.260 But we're also big and vast enough too
00:04:28.960 that we can't be just one state.
00:04:30.320 It would have to be multiple states
00:04:32.220 if the consensus was there.
00:04:34.560 And secondly, you'd have to have let every province
00:04:36.960 or every jurisdiction have its own rules and regulations,
00:04:40.740 just like every state legislation
00:04:42.180 has its own rules and regulations too.
00:04:44.440 It'd have to be a little more,
00:04:45.820 how do you say, lenient
00:04:46.780 when it comes to freedoms.
00:04:50.040 Medically speaking, yeah,
00:04:51.160 health insurance is good in some states.
00:04:53.020 Health insurance is bad in some states.
00:04:54.600 When I've heard from people
00:04:55.860 I live in Massachusetts
00:04:56.720 and Vermont and New Hampshire.
00:04:58.960 Texas, I've heard some great things.
00:05:00.560 California, mediocre things.
00:05:02.740 But then California is the woke capital of the world now.
00:05:07.340 They're holding on for their dear wokeness
00:05:08.600 as we speak.
00:05:09.500 Did you watch the Grammys?
00:05:10.680 Holy shit.
00:05:12.280 I couldn't stand watching the Grammys.
00:05:14.400 Beyonce becoming country and Western album.
00:05:17.120 Her latest release was a country and Western album.
00:05:19.240 I don't think so.
00:05:20.880 George Strait would be going,
00:05:21.860 what the fuck?
00:05:23.280 I'm not a country and Western fan.
00:05:25.360 So what's that tell you?
00:05:27.060 But needless to say,
00:05:28.740 when you see the contrast between both our countries,
00:05:30.740 we always had that dynamic to get along.
00:05:34.340 Canada did stand beside America in the First World War.
00:05:36.440 Canada stood by America in the Second World War.
00:05:38.100 Canada was involved in the Second World War
00:05:39.560 two years before the United States got involved.
00:05:42.600 Canada was there during Korea.
00:05:45.240 Now, somewhere that we had this shift in the 60s
00:05:47.440 where Canada became more of the peacekeeper model too.
00:05:50.220 And in a way, it was give the downward spiral.
00:05:52.060 Now, there's nothing wrong with sending peacekeepers
00:05:53.400 to a war to our nation
00:05:54.400 to stop an actual fight.
00:05:57.520 But somewhere along the line in our history,
00:05:59.740 Canadians have forgot
00:06:00.700 that you have a military to protect your country,
00:06:03.540 not to keep the peace for somebody else.
00:06:06.360 You know what I'm saying?
00:06:08.100 Right?
00:06:08.640 So Canada,
00:06:09.540 snap out of that fucking routine right now.
00:06:11.880 It's no longer 1968.
00:06:13.440 It's 2025.
00:06:15.120 Okay?
00:06:15.560 To all the boomers and Gen Xers out there,
00:06:17.260 and some of us Gen Xers are just as bad for it,
00:06:19.880 snap out of it.
00:06:21.660 Okay?
00:06:22.400 Snap out of it.
00:06:23.300 Okay?
00:06:24.400 It's that simple.
00:06:26.460 Okay?
00:06:27.700 Unless you have served in a peace support operation,
00:06:30.240 and trained for a peace support operation,
00:06:32.080 you still train the same as you would for a battle,
00:06:34.540 just in case the people you're keeping the peace from
00:06:36.820 want to turn around and attack you,
00:06:38.880 or keeping the peace for,
00:06:40.340 want to turn around and attack you.
00:06:41.780 Just think about Medak Pocket.
00:06:43.460 A little part of our history there,
00:06:44.580 ladies and gentlemen.
00:06:45.820 Okay?
00:06:46.540 So when it comes to the whole heading to annexation,
00:06:48.840 and I put question marks too.
00:06:50.520 I would like to know exactly why some Canadians think that way.
00:06:54.880 Is the grass going to be greener on the other side?
00:06:56.860 Let's say if it did happen.
00:06:58.240 If it was an overnight stroke of the pen.
00:07:01.060 You know,
00:07:01.240 Donald Trump says,
00:07:01.960 okay,
00:07:02.180 Frenchie,
00:07:02.880 you know,
00:07:03.140 how much for Canada?
00:07:04.580 You know,
00:07:05.060 how much?
00:07:05.840 How much for Canada?
00:07:07.400 Okay.
00:07:07.980 Done.
00:07:09.080 Got it.
00:07:10.380 You're no longer a fake prime minister.
00:07:12.340 You no longer want it because you're fake.
00:07:14.300 You're fake news.
00:07:15.780 You know what I mean?
00:07:17.600 But what would happen?
00:07:19.240 That's the thing.
00:07:21.460 I miss off.
00:07:22.200 You've heard me ramble on before,
00:07:23.420 ladies and gentlemen,
00:07:23.920 that I'm a patriot.
00:07:24.580 I love my country.
00:07:25.600 And I got nothing against the United States.
00:07:28.480 I've disagreed with many of their battles.
00:07:30.260 I disagree with some of their mandates.
00:07:31.700 I disagree with some of the bullying,
00:07:33.040 and they have done.
00:07:33.700 And I'm sure there's some Americans out there
00:07:35.420 that would agree to that too.
00:07:37.260 Okay.
00:07:37.980 But in the same sense,
00:07:39.280 they get shit done.
00:07:41.520 And at least we can,
00:07:42.780 at least we should learn
00:07:44.360 what kind of example we can do,
00:07:46.740 what we can do to make our lives better too.
00:07:50.040 I would have to say,
00:07:51.080 start with a bloody election.
00:07:53.100 Quit,
00:07:53.560 quit this pussyfooting around
00:07:55.320 that the prime minister is still doing
00:07:56.880 because he's still technically the prime minister.
00:07:58.780 Okay.
00:07:59.440 Quit pussyfooting around,
00:08:00.800 quit wasting our fucking time
00:08:02.080 and get back to,
00:08:03.680 the parliament
00:08:04.060 and call an election.
00:08:06.200 And then,
00:08:06.860 you know,
00:08:07.460 let the adults call the shots again.

00:08:21.620 You're back,
00:08:25.140 ladies and gentlemen,
00:08:25.400 with Krusty Canuck Podcast,
00:08:26.400 episode 336,
00:08:28.300 heading to annexation.
00:08:30.000 Yeah,
00:08:30.180 I know,
00:08:30.540 it's scary,
00:08:31.340 isn't it?
00:08:32.340 You know,
00:08:32.860 say for example,
00:08:34.140 hypothetically,
00:08:34.720 now I'm not,
00:08:35.260 I'm not promoting this kind of behavior,
00:08:40.660 nor am I believing that it will happen.
00:08:44.100 But let's say what if,
00:08:45.220 the big what if,
00:08:46.440 let's say one day we go about our business
00:08:48.140 and Trump's had enough of Justin Trudeau
00:08:50.200 and he's had enough of Mexico
00:08:51.860 and he's had enough of these countries
00:08:53.320 and that countries.
00:08:54.400 And let's say Donald Trump sends,
00:08:56.540 okay,
00:08:57.240 let's send some tanks over the border.
00:09:00.980 What do you think would happen,
00:09:02.520 right?
00:09:05.040 Now it would be scary,
00:09:06.240 of course.
00:09:08.380 Would it be beneficial to the United States
00:09:11.160 to do that?
00:09:13.760 What would the rest of the world think?
00:09:16.320 Regardless of how embarrassing
00:09:17.660 our Prime Minister has made us,
00:09:20.520 regardless of how embarrassed
00:09:21.580 I am personally,
00:09:24.180 what the Prime Minister has done
00:09:25.500 to this country.
00:09:27.160 I wonder how many people
00:09:28.300 would come to our aid.
00:09:30.280 That's the thing.
00:09:31.440 Because really,
00:09:32.160 we have a military
00:09:32.780 that might stand up for a day or two,
00:09:34.500 a couple of days if we're lucky.
00:09:36.280 And then what?
00:09:37.140 You'd have the civilian population
00:09:38.480 that are armed
00:09:39.080 that would have to engage.
00:09:42.060 That's my tactical point of view on that.
00:09:44.740 But then again,
00:09:45.340 why would something like that
00:09:46.260 happen to begin with too?
00:09:47.620 What would we have to do?
00:09:48.780 What would our government have to do
00:09:50.040 to piss off the American powerhouse
00:09:52.280 so much to do that?
00:09:54.400 And so what if,
00:09:55.040 I'm not saying it's going to happen
00:09:56.340 or it will happen,
00:09:57.300 but it's a what if, okay?
00:10:00.860 What would happen
00:10:01.580 if you're walking one day
00:10:02.580 with your wife
00:10:03.120 and you're walking your pets
00:10:03.940 or you're walking with your kids
00:10:04.760 and you look up in the sky
00:10:05.460 and you see an aircraft
00:10:06.960 and it's little men
00:10:08.680 are coming out of it in parachutes.
00:10:10.920 But you realize
00:10:11.700 that aircraft's not American.
00:10:13.040 It's probably Chinese
00:10:13.800 or it might be Russian.
00:10:15.200 What would you do?
00:10:17.480 You know,
00:10:17.920 that's where America
00:10:18.600 would come in handy.
00:10:20.300 But see,
00:10:20.700 that's one of the points
00:10:21.640 Donald Trump was trying to make
00:10:22.560 too to our government
00:10:23.440 and to other governments
00:10:24.860 around the globe
00:10:25.380 and say quit
00:10:25.880 mooching off the United States
00:10:27.200 and start being
00:10:28.100 a little more self-sufficient.
00:10:29.740 If anything,
00:10:30.540 I think Donald Trump
00:10:31.140 is telling us
00:10:31.640 to be more self-sufficient,
00:10:33.120 which we should be.
00:10:34.700 Right?
00:10:36.580 And we do have the resources
00:10:37.900 and the manpower
00:10:39.340 and the smarts to do it.
00:10:41.300 Unfortunately,
00:10:41.660 we're running out of money
00:10:42.560 because we have a government
00:10:44.720 that wants to spend
00:10:46.140 and spend
00:10:46.560 and spend
00:10:47.040 and spend
00:10:47.520 over there,
00:10:48.460 over here,
00:10:49.300 but not right here.
00:10:51.400 So when it comes
00:10:52.420 to these plans
00:10:53.460 they talk about,
00:10:54.620 oh,
00:10:54.740 we have a plan
00:10:55.900 to get this
00:10:56.520 and we have a plan
00:10:57.840 to get that.
00:10:59.580 Well,
00:11:00.220 it's not good enough.
00:11:02.820 We got a 30-day extension
00:11:04.160 until the tariffs
00:11:04.820 come through.
00:11:07.660 Is the $1.6 billion
00:11:09.340 going to be spent
00:11:10.400 in the next couple of weeks
00:11:11.320 and you're going to have
00:11:12.180 actual manpower
00:11:13.100 on the borders
00:11:13.680 or are you going to keep
00:11:15.080 promoting this whole drone thing?
00:11:17.500 And maybe buy
00:11:18.100 one or two more helicopters
00:11:19.540 for the patrols
00:11:20.720 that go across the borders.
00:11:23.960 Helicopters
00:11:24.400 that the military should have
00:11:25.500 but needless to say
00:11:26.220 you're going to buy
00:11:26.720 more helicopters
00:11:27.480 and just like that.
00:11:29.160 So that example alone
00:11:30.980 should tell you
00:11:31.880 wonderful people out there,
00:11:33.460 my Canadian audience,
00:11:34.340 my American office,
00:11:35.360 my American friends
00:11:37.980 and my American fans,
00:11:40.820 what our government is doing.
00:11:43.200 Now,
00:11:43.440 just because we all vote
00:11:44.560 every four years,
00:11:45.520 that doesn't mean
00:11:46.260 every Canadian
00:11:47.100 represents the shitheads
00:11:49.220 that are sitting
00:11:50.060 in Ottawa right now.
00:11:52.080 Okay?
00:11:52.840 They don't speak
00:11:54.020 for a lot of us out here.
00:11:55.300 They speak for a handful
00:11:57.180 here and there.
00:11:58.780 Okay?
00:11:59.020 To my American listeners,
00:11:59.980 it's what we call
00:12:00.580 the Laurentian elite.
00:12:02.620 It's basically,
00:12:03.540 it's almost like,
00:12:04.860 how would you say,
00:12:06.420 kind of like
00:12:06.880 a family compact.
00:12:08.600 But instead of it being
00:12:09.600 the 1830s,
00:12:10.560 it's a family compact
00:12:11.500 of the 2020s.
00:12:13.680 Everybody knows each other.
00:12:14.840 Everybody's kind of
00:12:15.460 interlinked and intertwined
00:12:16.680 somehow.
00:12:17.580 Little scissor here,
00:12:18.640 little scissor there,
00:12:20.080 slap and tickle
00:12:20.740 for someone else's pickle here.
00:12:22.720 That explains for itself.
00:12:24.760 I'll leave a link
00:12:25.560 in the description
00:12:26.080 for my fans out there
00:12:28.760 and viewers.
00:12:30.200 In case you haven't
00:12:31.020 taken Canadian history,
00:12:32.120 what the family compact was
00:12:33.560 and what the family compact did.
00:12:35.620 And it led to
00:12:36.780 the Upper Canada Rebellion
00:12:37.860 in 1837.
00:12:39.480 So there's something
00:12:40.660 to think about too.
00:12:42.340 Right?
00:12:42.820 But I'm not going to sit here
00:12:43.620 and dwell about warfare
00:12:44.760 and dwell about what ifs
00:12:45.900 all the time.
00:12:46.620 I'm going to dwell on this too.
00:12:48.640 To my Canadian listeners
00:12:49.560 who think annexation
00:12:50.580 would be a good thing,
00:12:51.900 honestly ask yourselves
00:12:53.120 if your life would be easier.
00:12:56.300 Right?
00:12:57.620 Is the grass greener
00:12:58.880 on the other side?
00:13:01.220 Is it?
00:13:01.920 Now Trump says,
00:13:02.800 okay,
00:13:03.240 you'd be protected,
00:13:04.140 you'd have lower taxes.
00:13:05.540 Okay.
00:13:06.460 But you'd probably
00:13:07.140 get lower pay too.
00:13:09.280 Okay?
00:13:10.660 And you would still
00:13:11.540 have the same problems
00:13:12.360 with municipalities
00:13:13.060 and state laws.
00:13:14.780 You'd have municipal taxes,
00:13:16.180 of course,
00:13:16.500 like we do.
00:13:17.000 You'd have state taxes
00:13:17.980 and you'd have
00:13:18.740 your federal taxes as well.
00:13:21.460 Okay?
00:13:22.660 Now I would love
00:13:23.560 to have a strong dollar again,
00:13:25.020 but that strong dollar
00:13:26.380 has to come from Canadians.
00:13:27.880 That has to come
00:13:28.560 from Canadians
00:13:29.060 trading and commercing
00:13:30.400 with inside the country.
00:13:32.020 So get rid of
00:13:32.820 all these border restrictions
00:13:34.100 these provincial restrictions
00:13:35.360 when it comes to trading
00:13:36.240 through via provinces.
00:13:38.060 I've said that before
00:13:39.020 in my last episode.
00:13:40.360 Get rid of it.
00:13:42.080 Okay?
00:13:42.460 Let Canadians
00:13:43.080 make some fucking money,
00:13:44.320 Ottawa.
00:13:45.600 Okay?
00:13:47.500 And to the believers
00:13:48.580 in Quebec,
00:13:50.040 now Mr. Premier Legault
00:13:51.920 even said
00:13:52.600 in an interview
00:13:52.960 the other day
00:13:53.500 that it's not
00:13:54.780 socially acceptable
00:13:55.580 at this time
00:13:56.300 to have a pipeline
00:13:57.560 go through Quebec.
00:13:59.500 Yet,
00:14:00.080 that pipeline
00:14:00.800 provides oil
00:14:02.600 that Alberta
00:14:03.080 sells to the United States
00:14:04.180 that gives you
00:14:05.460 $13.9 billion
00:14:07.380 this fiscal year.
00:14:09.520 But you don't care
00:14:10.480 about that though,
00:14:11.200 right?
00:14:11.780 You don't want
00:14:12.440 dirty, filthy
00:14:13.340 Alberta oil,
00:14:14.380 but you'll buy
00:14:15.040 dirty Saudi oil,
00:14:16.220 Nigerian oil,
00:14:16.960 Venezuelan oil,
00:14:17.660 and then collect
00:14:18.760 the good money
00:14:19.580 from Canadian oil.
00:14:21.440 That's like
00:14:22.220 you leaving home
00:14:23.280 and mom and dad
00:14:24.460 paying your bills
00:14:25.200 because you just
00:14:26.260 don't feel like
00:14:26.920 doing your part.
00:14:28.660 Right?
00:14:29.040 Do the math.

00:14:44.380 And you're back
00:14:45.240 ladies and gentlemen
00:14:45.600 of episode 336
00:14:46.740 of the Krusty Canuck Podcast.
00:14:48.500 30 days,
00:14:49.140 then what?
00:14:49.800 I'm your host
00:14:50.320 Krusty Canuck
00:14:51.020 and we'll see.
00:14:52.760 Come March 4th
00:14:53.500 we'll have to see
00:14:54.140 what kind of plan
00:14:54.980 our government has
00:14:55.860 because every time
00:14:57.460 the federal government
00:14:58.140 gets on television
00:14:59.020 and discusses
00:15:00.540 the whole thing
00:15:01.600 about politics
00:15:03.280 and about security
00:15:04.420 and safety,
00:15:05.900 it's all just
00:15:07.220 one big
00:15:08.100 god damn
00:15:08.900 full mouth
00:15:09.820 of marbles.
00:15:11.080 Blah, blah, blah,
00:15:12.280 blah, blah.
00:15:13.700 Right?
00:15:15.700 And some of my
00:15:16.740 veteran buddies,
00:15:17.480 we chimed in this,
00:15:18.580 we had a couple
00:15:18.920 of conversations
00:15:19.520 the other day
00:15:19.960 in regards to this.
00:15:21.620 And basically,
00:15:22.680 they're just afraid.
00:15:23.980 They're afraid,
00:15:25.060 but they also
00:15:25.560 don't care either too.
00:15:27.520 There's still
00:15:27.960 that Canadian arrogance.
00:15:29.080 Oh, that will never
00:15:29.680 happen to us.
00:15:30.580 We're too nice.
00:15:31.620 Oh, we don't need this.
00:15:32.920 Someone else
00:15:33.420 will look after it for us.
00:15:35.000 That's what's got us
00:15:35.920 into trouble
00:15:36.420 the first time
00:15:37.200 and the second time
00:15:38.500 and the third time
00:15:39.120 and now.
00:15:41.240 So,
00:15:41.780 is it going to take
00:15:42.420 something more devastating
00:15:43.380 to wake us up
00:15:44.260 to smell the coffee?
00:15:46.620 Right?
00:15:48.120 We've got to stop
00:15:48.940 relying on other people
00:15:50.240 to do the right thing.
00:15:52.280 Okay?
00:15:52.640 We're supposed
00:15:53.240 to elect leaders
00:15:54.080 that are supposed
00:15:54.520 to do the right thing
00:15:55.280 and how many leaders
00:15:56.260 have done the right thing
00:15:56.920 in the past 10 years?
00:15:58.040 Think about that.
00:16:04.800 Think really hard.
00:16:05.940 Not too hard
00:16:06.760 where you break,
00:16:07.340 you know,
00:16:08.020 you have a vein
00:16:09.160 pop out of your head,
00:16:10.060 but it's self-explanatory
00:16:11.600 nonetheless.
00:16:12.740 Okay?
00:16:13.300 Now,
00:16:13.660 I'm going to have
00:16:14.140 a little history thing
00:16:15.140 here for you
00:16:15.680 as all here too.
00:16:17.100 Basically,
00:16:17.600 movements
00:16:17.960 for annexation
00:16:19.440 of Canada
00:16:20.280 to the United States.
00:16:21.280 Now,
00:16:21.400 this is off
00:16:21.840 the Wikipedia page
00:16:22.820 do not take it
00:16:24.040 as gospel.
00:16:26.380 Wikipedia has been known
00:16:27.540 to alter things
00:16:28.640 in the name of narratives,
00:16:30.400 but I'll read some
00:16:31.400 of it here for you
00:16:32.220 and you can decide,
00:16:34.220 ladies and gentlemen.
00:16:35.600 And if you have
00:16:36.280 a set of encyclopedias
00:16:37.320 at home,
00:16:38.180 look up the annexations
00:16:39.380 and look up
00:16:41.120 the manifest destiny
00:16:42.600 too,
00:16:42.980 if you can.
00:16:44.180 Interesting subject.
00:16:45.320 I remember that
00:16:45.820 back in grade school.
00:16:46.680 But basically,
00:16:49.600 it's just
00:16:50.940 certain movements
00:16:52.640 in certain parts
00:16:53.560 of our history,
00:16:54.820 North American history,
00:16:55.620 not just Canadian history,
00:16:56.480 but North American history,
00:16:57.800 where we've had to
00:16:58.900 thwart
00:17:00.980 certain attempts.
00:17:03.520 So I'll read
00:17:05.500 the first few paragraphs
00:17:06.340 here,
00:17:06.720 ladies and gentlemen.
00:17:07.080 From the independence
00:17:07.920 of the United States
00:17:08.500 until today,
00:17:09.200 various movements
00:17:09.760 within Canada
00:17:10.500 and the United States
00:17:11.720 have campaigned
00:17:12.400 in favor of U.S.
00:17:13.540 annexation
00:17:14.100 of parts of
00:17:15.160 all of Canada,
00:17:16.500 or,
00:17:16.860 correction,
00:17:17.800 parts of
00:17:18.440 or all of Canada.
00:17:19.860 Historical studies
00:17:20.460 have focused
00:17:20.920 on numerous
00:17:21.360 small-scale movements
00:17:22.260 which are helpful
00:17:23.360 in the comparisons
00:17:24.080 of Canadian
00:17:25.020 and American politics.
00:17:26.240 In the early years
00:17:26.700 of the United States,
00:17:27.740 many American political figures
00:17:29.020 were in favor
00:17:29.680 of invading
00:17:30.500 and annexing Canada
00:17:31.540 and even pre-approved
00:17:33.320 the admission
00:17:33.780 of the province
00:17:34.540 of Quebec,
00:17:35.540 previously known
00:17:36.000 as Lower Canada,
00:17:36.940 to the U.S.
00:17:38.080 in the Articles
00:17:38.620 and Confederation
00:17:40.300 in 1777.
00:17:42.320 During the American
00:17:43.000 Revolutionary War,
00:17:43.880 the Americans
00:17:44.260 obeyed the St. Lawrence
00:17:45.000 River Valley
00:17:45.620 but were repelled.
00:17:47.140 Americans also fought
00:17:48.160 the British
00:17:48.560 and allied indigenous peoples
00:17:49.860 in the Ohio country
00:17:51.900 but was then
00:17:53.200 southwest of Quebec.
00:17:54.960 At the end of the war,
00:17:56.360 the land south
00:17:57.020 of the Great Lakes
00:17:57.800 was ceded
00:17:58.420 to a newly independent
00:17:59.740 United States
00:18:00.340 and became
00:18:00.820 the Northwest Territory.
00:18:02.980 In the War of 1812,
00:18:04.140 the Americans again
00:18:05.000 invaded Canada
00:18:05.760 in reprisal
00:18:06.960 of the British
00:18:07.580 impressment
00:18:08.200 of American sailors
00:18:09.140 on high seas
00:18:09.920 and support
00:18:10.460 for indigenous peoples
00:18:11.400 resisting
00:18:12.280 American westward
00:18:13.240 expansion
00:18:13.920 manifest destiny
00:18:15.520 but were repulsed
00:18:16.800 again.
00:18:19.040 During and after
00:18:19.980 the American Civil War,
00:18:21.060 several American politicians
00:18:22.240 called for the annexation
00:18:23.320 of Canada
00:18:23.740 because Britain's
00:18:24.540 material support
00:18:25.360 of the Confederacy,
00:18:27.560 which one historian
00:18:28.320 asserts lengthened
00:18:29.280 the war by two years,
00:18:30.820 mostly afflicted
00:18:31.520 by British blockade
00:18:32.720 runners delivering
00:18:33.700 arms supplies.
00:18:35.060 Confederate agents
00:18:35.760 operating in Canada
00:18:36.780 received support
00:18:37.660 from a large portion
00:18:38.500 of Canadians
00:18:39.060 throughout the war
00:18:40.300 allowing the British
00:18:41.040 colony to be used
00:18:41.860 as a base
00:18:42.400 to attack the U.S.,
00:18:44.160 such as the St. Albans
00:18:45.340 Raid.
00:18:45.700 In 1872,
00:18:47.200 Alabama claims
00:18:48.120 the U.S.
00:18:48.660 was compensated
00:18:49.440 $15.5 million
00:18:50.840 in war reparations
00:18:52.740 by the British
00:18:53.280 for damages
00:18:53.800 caused only by
00:18:54.800 British-built
00:18:55.860 Confederate commerce
00:18:57.160 raiders
00:18:57.500 as part of the
00:18:58.080 1871 Treaty
00:18:59.160 of Washington.
00:19:00.640 Historian Joseph
00:19:01.600 Leavitt notes,
00:19:02.520 since the Treaty
00:19:03.120 of Washington
00:19:03.620 in 1871,
00:19:04.980 when the first
00:19:05.480 de facto recognized
00:19:06.460 the new Dominion
00:19:07.100 of Canada,
00:19:08.180 thank you,
00:19:08.620 Sir John A.
00:19:09.140 MacDonald,
00:19:10.000 the United States
00:19:10.580 never suggested
00:19:11.300 or promoted
00:19:11.800 annexation movement
00:19:12.780 in Canada.
00:19:13.440 No serious force
00:19:14.820 has appeared
00:19:15.460 on the American
00:19:16.640 political scene
00:19:17.340 that aimed
00:19:17.840 to pursue
00:19:18.320 or coerce
00:19:18.960 Canadians
00:19:19.680 into joining
00:19:20.240 the United States.
00:19:21.460 And in fact,
00:19:22.420 no serious initiative
00:19:23.600 for any war
00:19:24.520 in this direction
00:19:25.200 has come
00:19:25.720 from the Canadian
00:19:26.620 side either.
00:19:27.840 So,
00:19:28.440 there's a bit
00:19:28.920 of history there too.
00:19:30.680 Now,
00:19:30.980 Sir John A.,
00:19:31.620 what I remember
00:19:32.240 of basic
00:19:33.180 high school history,
00:19:35.080 Sir John A.,
00:19:36.400 wanted
00:19:37.780 to make Canada
00:19:39.720 whole
00:19:40.120 just in case
00:19:41.280 there was
00:19:41.860 an annexation
00:19:42.640 because
00:19:43.480 they had
00:19:44.340 a bloody
00:19:44.600 civil war
00:19:45.260 and he thought
00:19:46.420 there was
00:19:46.720 a threat.
00:19:47.360 Not a threat
00:19:48.060 like there was
00:19:48.660 the Cold War
00:19:49.360 where the free world
00:19:50.600 feared the Soviet
00:19:51.580 onslaught,
00:19:52.500 but it was
00:19:53.620 just in case
00:19:54.420 because let's say
00:19:55.460 if there was
00:19:56.000 an annexation
00:19:56.820 and there was
00:19:57.940 force that came
00:19:58.660 from the south
00:19:59.200 to the north,
00:20:00.200 then Britain
00:20:01.000 would be right
00:20:01.460 there to back
00:20:02.100 up Canada.
00:20:03.240 And who knows
00:20:03.640 at that time,
00:20:04.280 probably France too.
00:20:06.780 So,
00:20:07.160 you know,
00:20:07.880 it's a what-if
00:20:09.140 scenario.
00:20:09.560 But there's
00:20:11.340 always been
00:20:11.700 talk of the
00:20:12.180 annexation.
00:20:13.500 Now,
00:20:14.000 don't glorify
00:20:14.740 it, folks.
00:20:15.500 Like,
00:20:15.640 that's what I'm
00:20:15.900 saying.
00:20:16.140 Is the grass
00:20:16.580 going to be
00:20:16.880 green on the
00:20:17.200 other side?
00:20:18.560 That's something
00:20:19.080 to think about.
00:20:20.200 I'm not
00:20:20.700 disenfranchising
00:20:21.480 the American
00:20:21.900 system.
00:20:22.600 That's good
00:20:23.120 for the
00:20:23.360 Americans.
00:20:23.840 I love
00:20:24.260 our
00:20:24.400 parliamentary
00:20:24.740 system.
00:20:25.720 The problem
00:20:26.100 is we've
00:20:26.500 got terrible
00:20:26.960 leadership
00:20:27.400 and we do
00:20:28.420 need amendments
00:20:28.920 to our
00:20:29.300 constitution
00:20:29.900 and we do
00:20:30.900 need amendments
00:20:31.440 to our
00:20:31.800 self-defense
00:20:32.440 and we need
00:20:33.360 amendments to
00:20:34.480 how we secure
00:20:35.120 things around
00:20:35.700 here and how
00:20:36.520 it should be
00:20:36.900 done properly,
00:20:37.840 effectively,
00:20:38.180 and efficiently.
00:20:39.860 But, of
00:20:40.460 course, you
00:20:40.900 know, you
00:20:41.060 bring that
00:20:41.340 to a
00:20:41.580 liberal right
00:20:42.000 now or
00:20:42.780 we'll come
00:20:43.120 up with a
00:20:43.480 plan and
00:20:43.880 maybe get
00:20:44.220 something done
00:20:44.640 in about
00:20:44.920 six or
00:20:45.340 fucking
00:20:45.620 12 years.

00:21:10.580 thank you to my
00:21:11.060 new subscribers out
00:21:11.720 there.
00:21:11.880 I've got maybe
00:21:12.360 half a dozen that
00:21:13.100 came in the past
00:21:13.700 day.
00:21:14.240 So thank you very
00:21:14.960 much.
00:21:15.200 You guys are
00:21:15.720 wonderful.
00:21:16.580 You're awesome.
00:21:18.180 And please,
00:21:18.840 to any of my
00:21:19.320 American or
00:21:20.140 British viewers,
00:21:21.460 I don't care where
00:21:22.100 you are in Britain.
00:21:22.540 I don't care if
00:21:22.880 you're in Scotland,
00:21:23.500 Wales, Ireland,
00:21:24.360 Northern Ireland.
00:21:25.080 I don't care where
00:21:25.800 you are.
00:21:26.300 Weigh in.
00:21:26.680 Chime in.
00:21:26.980 Give me a comment.
00:21:27.560 Give me a thumbs
00:21:27.960 up.
00:21:28.120 Let me know you're
00:21:28.640 there too.
00:21:29.460 If you happen to
00:21:30.240 see this live when
00:21:31.760 it's premiered and I
00:21:32.920 get to talk to you
00:21:33.520 this all, please
00:21:34.600 chime in.
00:21:35.940 Just tell me where
00:21:36.520 you are, you know,
00:21:38.300 where you're watching
00:21:39.720 from.
00:21:40.000 You don't have to
00:21:40.300 give me your
00:21:40.580 details.
00:21:41.160 You don't have to
00:21:41.320 give me any money.
00:21:42.200 If you want to
00:21:42.480 donate, you can.
00:21:43.220 But, you know,
00:21:43.820 just let me know
00:21:44.720 because the last
00:21:45.300 time I went live,
00:21:46.280 I had about 25
00:21:47.120 people actually
00:21:47.800 watching.
00:21:48.340 I was like, wow,
00:21:48.960 this is great.
00:21:50.080 I get people
00:21:50.500 watching my show.
00:21:51.440 So let me know
00:21:51.900 where you're writing
00:21:52.940 from.
00:21:53.580 I don't care if
00:21:54.280 you're in Canada,
00:21:54.880 the United States,
00:21:55.520 Mexico, anywhere in
00:21:56.300 the world.
00:21:56.900 Just say, hello,
00:21:57.720 how you doing?
00:21:58.420 Like your show or
00:21:59.200 don't like your show
00:21:59.980 from wherever.
00:22:01.360 You know, that's
00:22:02.000 fine.
00:22:02.240 Just let me know.
00:22:03.300 Anyway, carrying
00:22:03.820 on with this whole
00:22:04.460 annexation.
00:22:06.060 Now I put question
00:22:06.840 marks because who
00:22:08.200 knows what's going
00:22:08.640 to happen.
00:22:08.960 I don't want
00:22:10.800 annexation.
00:22:11.780 I like the United
00:22:12.200 States for what
00:22:13.860 they are.
00:22:14.940 But I also love my
00:22:16.000 country too.
00:22:18.380 And I'm not willing
00:22:19.140 just to give it up
00:22:19.880 just yet because we
00:22:21.240 have incompetency and
00:22:22.180 fools.
00:22:22.960 We've all worked for
00:22:24.000 people one way or the
00:22:24.820 other.
00:22:25.040 It doesn't matter
00:22:25.360 where you work in
00:22:26.000 your life.
00:22:26.840 It doesn't matter
00:22:27.200 if you serve in the
00:22:27.780 army.
00:22:28.020 It doesn't matter
00:22:28.280 if you're a police
00:22:28.720 officer, firefighter,
00:22:30.200 paramed, doctor,
00:22:31.160 lawyer.
00:22:31.400 It doesn't matter if
00:22:32.180 you have a white
00:22:32.780 collar job or blue
00:22:33.600 collar job.
00:22:34.040 We've all worked
00:22:34.700 for a bunch of
00:22:35.280 people that never
00:22:36.380 really gave a shit
00:22:37.660 about you, about
00:22:39.080 I, about anybody
00:22:40.260 else.
00:22:41.980 But it took the
00:22:42.840 guys rising up to
00:22:45.400 see things for what
00:22:46.180 they were and to
00:22:47.680 call that leadership
00:22:48.720 into question.
00:22:50.480 We as Canadians
00:22:51.440 must do that.
00:22:53.960 Now I've said to
00:22:54.980 some of my friends
00:22:55.720 online, I have a
00:22:57.500 good relationship
00:22:58.080 with Frank Vaughn.
00:22:59.060 He's a hell of a
00:22:59.820 guy.
00:23:00.200 We've had many a
00:23:00.840 talks.
00:23:01.180 He's been a guest
00:23:01.680 on my podcast
00:23:02.240 before.
00:23:02.740 We've shared
00:23:03.760 commentary on
00:23:05.180 many of episodes
00:23:06.060 and he's just a
00:23:07.480 great all-around
00:23:08.260 individual, good
00:23:09.440 family man.
00:23:10.640 He's a fucking, he's
00:23:11.780 a poet, he's an
00:23:12.620 artist, but he's
00:23:13.720 also quite, how
00:23:17.320 would you say?
00:23:18.600 He's very articulate
00:23:19.440 and he's quite
00:23:20.780 informative.
00:23:21.500 So I suggest you
00:23:22.180 watch his podcast
00:23:22.960 too and just listen
00:23:24.800 to the man's
00:23:25.380 passion, how he
00:23:26.080 talks about Canada,
00:23:27.800 how he talks about
00:23:28.580 growing up and how
00:23:29.320 he loves his family
00:23:30.140 and how he brings
00:23:31.360 information to the
00:23:32.260 masses.
00:23:32.740 We've got too
00:23:34.240 much corruption in
00:23:35.280 our parliament,
00:23:36.180 too much corruption
00:23:36.920 in our border, and
00:23:38.760 too much corruption
00:23:39.420 in our security.
00:23:41.540 And he's bringing
00:23:42.320 that to light.
00:23:44.720 I have for years
00:23:45.880 seen how the
00:23:46.580 Liberal Party has
00:23:47.320 done nothing but
00:23:48.640 good for a handful
00:23:49.660 of their buddies,
00:23:50.640 like the Earl
00:23:51.240 Laurentian elite, and
00:23:53.320 what they believe in,
00:23:54.280 noble causes.
00:23:55.020 We've got too many
00:23:55.540 ideologues and
00:23:56.540 activists calling the
00:23:57.760 shots for this
00:23:58.280 country.
00:23:59.180 We the people,
00:24:00.500 you know, and I'm
00:24:01.020 not taking this from
00:24:01.760 the American point
00:24:02.520 of view.
00:24:03.060 I'm taking this from
00:24:04.060 a right now Canadian
00:24:04.940 point of view.
00:24:05.940 We the people,
00:24:06.700 doesn't matter if it's
00:24:07.500 a Magna Carta,
00:24:08.620 doesn't matter if it's
00:24:09.260 a charter in Britain,
00:24:10.400 doesn't matter if it's
00:24:10.860 a charter here in Canada
00:24:11.700 or a charter in the
00:24:12.260 United States.
00:24:12.980 We the people, the
00:24:13.880 people that pay the
00:24:14.520 taxes, people that
00:24:15.280 live here, they've got
00:24:16.260 to put up with this
00:24:16.800 garbage.
00:24:17.840 So we all the people
00:24:18.820 are saying enough to
00:24:20.140 Ottawa and you're
00:24:20.900 garbage.
00:24:22.200 So you're going to have
00:24:22.840 to come up with a
00:24:23.240 better plan in the next
00:24:24.180 fucking 30 days
00:24:25.200 rather than just think,
00:24:26.360 oh, we've got a plan
00:24:26.960 to put helicopters here,
00:24:28.220 and we've got a plan to
00:24:29.060 put these drones here,
00:24:29.900 and everything's
00:24:30.720 hunky-dory.
00:24:31.860 No, it's not.
00:24:32.860 You've got to start
00:24:33.340 being serious.
00:24:35.500 Trump is not fucking
00:24:36.320 around.
00:24:36.820 It's that simple.
00:24:37.380 He's not fucking
00:24:37.880 around.
00:24:39.420 Okay?
00:24:40.300 He's not.
00:24:44.140 And it's about time
00:24:44.960 that we stop fucking
00:24:45.720 around too.
00:24:48.060 And start being a
00:24:49.300 little more realistic.
00:24:52.360 Especially when it
00:24:53.120 comes to dealing with
00:24:53.940 the people, Ottawa.
00:24:55.700 Okay?
00:24:56.600 And separatists in
00:24:57.500 Quebec.
00:24:57.820 Not all Quebecers,
00:24:58.640 but the separatists
00:24:59.940 in Quebec who do
00:25:01.200 not want Canadian
00:25:02.400 fucking oil.
00:25:04.300 Okay?
00:25:05.880 When I look at
00:25:06.660 Daniel Smith, she is
00:25:07.920 the only one who's
00:25:08.760 gone back and forth
00:25:09.660 to the States who
00:25:11.300 actually had the
00:25:11.860 cojones to make some
00:25:13.160 proper deals with the
00:25:14.200 man who wrote the
00:25:15.300 book, The Art of the
00:25:16.400 Deal.
00:25:17.600 Okay?
00:25:20.280 He wrote the book.
00:25:21.980 He knows what to do.
00:25:23.840 And whether you love
00:25:24.520 or hate the guy,
00:25:25.600 he's not fucking
00:25:26.620 around.
00:25:27.800 Neither is Daniel
00:25:28.340 Smith.
00:25:28.860 Scott Moe did a bit
00:25:29.640 of something too.
00:25:30.360 I don't know much
00:25:30.900 about him.
00:25:31.700 I know he's doing
00:25:32.700 well for Saskatchewan.
00:25:34.500 Right?
00:25:35.000 But every other
00:25:35.540 premier in this
00:25:36.200 country is talk
00:25:36.900 tough, talk tough,
00:25:37.840 talk tough.
00:25:38.940 You're not fucking
00:25:39.860 tough.
00:25:40.760 You're wimps.
00:25:41.460 I would be impressed
00:25:43.700 if you actually did
00:25:44.420 something for your
00:25:45.180 province other than
00:25:46.640 talk virtue and take
00:25:47.840 certain liquor bottles
00:25:48.900 off or threaten to
00:25:50.480 turn this off or
00:25:51.320 threaten to turn that
00:25:52.100 off.
00:25:53.000 Build something!
00:25:54.120 That's what Pierre
00:25:58.020 Polyev wants.
00:25:59.260 Build something!
00:26:00.660 Cut down some red
00:26:01.680 tape!
00:26:03.000 Make something!
00:26:04.680 Make a better
00:26:05.580 highway!
00:26:06.680 Make a better
00:26:07.240 concrete!
00:26:08.000 Make a better
00:26:08.420 cement!
00:26:10.740 Pipelines!
00:26:12.620 Pipelines!
00:26:14.020 Energy East!
00:26:15.820 Northgate!
00:26:17.600 Pipelines!
00:26:18.320 Don't give me this
00:26:20.840 green initiative.
00:26:22.280 We're not leading
00:26:23.440 the world in
00:26:24.080 anything.
00:26:25.620 We're leading the
00:26:26.420 world how we can
00:26:27.000 lie about democracy
00:26:27.920 and put people into
00:26:28.760 debt.
00:26:29.000 That's what we're
00:26:29.360 leading the world
00:26:29.860 in.
00:26:31.160 Right?
00:26:32.700 So when people
00:26:33.380 talk about annexation,
00:26:34.780 think about what's
00:26:35.340 going on here.
00:26:36.460 Think about what
00:26:36.840 this country has
00:26:37.540 done for Canadians
00:26:38.600 prior to 2015.
00:26:40.500 We're old enough
00:26:41.200 to know.
00:26:44.220 So those kids now
00:26:45.300 that are 10, 11
00:26:46.080 years old, let's
00:26:47.880 hope when they're
00:26:48.300 15 or 16, they
00:26:50.740 can start seeing
00:26:51.420 a light.
00:26:52.740 Anyway, here's an
00:26:53.160 article from
00:26:53.640 Northern or
00:26:54.940 National Post
00:26:55.700 there, too, I'll
00:26:56.840 share up and
00:26:57.320 queue with these
00:26:57.720 ladies and
00:26:58.060 gentlemen, too,
00:26:59.460 about the BS
00:27:01.460 when it comes to
00:27:03.740 what Canada is
00:27:05.180 doing.
00:27:05.600 And National Post
00:27:06.220 is pretty
00:27:06.640 straightforward.
00:27:08.040 You know, I do
00:27:08.480 like what they
00:27:09.020 have to say once
00:27:09.900 in a while, but
00:27:10.420 I'll read along
00:27:11.680 with this and I'll
00:27:12.180 leave the article
00:27:12.700 and I'll leave
00:27:13.200 that Wikipedia
00:27:13.860 article there,
00:27:15.340 too, in my
00:27:15.840 description, ladies
00:27:16.800 down for you guys
00:27:17.400 to read at your
00:27:17.940 leisure.
00:27:18.880 U.S.
00:27:19.200 tariffs and
00:27:19.620 hold for 30
00:27:20.120 days after
00:27:20.600 Canada commits
00:27:21.220 to beefing up
00:27:22.080 border security.
00:27:23.420 Canada has
00:27:23.820 agreed to
00:27:24.180 deploy its
00:27:24.680 prior $1.3
00:27:25.960 billion in
00:27:26.740 spending plan
00:27:27.400 and nearly
00:27:28.080 10,000 frontline
00:27:29.020 personnel to
00:27:29.780 the border.
00:27:31.240 Okay, this is
00:27:31.900 published on the
00:27:32.360 3rd of February.
00:27:33.100 So Ottawa has
00:27:33.800 agreed to deploy
00:27:34.500 its $1.3
00:27:35.300 billion border
00:27:35.820 enhancement plan
00:27:36.620 along with
00:27:37.000 thousands of
00:27:37.480 frontline
00:27:37.740 personnel to
00:27:38.880 strengthen
00:27:39.440 security on
00:27:40.600 the U.S.
00:27:41.020 boundary in
00:27:41.480 exchange for
00:27:42.060 White House
00:27:42.440 pausing 25%
00:27:43.560 tariffs for at
00:27:44.220 least 30 days.
00:27:45.200 Prime Minister
00:27:46.640 Justin
00:27:46.960 Trudeau made
00:27:47.380 the announcement
00:27:47.780 on social
00:27:48.260 media Monday
00:27:49.180 afternoon shortly
00:27:49.760 after his
00:27:50.140 second phone
00:27:50.660 call day with
00:27:51.680 the U.S.
00:27:52.100 President Donald
00:27:52.660 Trump.
00:27:53.620 Of course,
00:27:54.100 oh, I just
00:27:54.540 had a good
00:27:54.900 call with
00:27:55.320 President Trump.
00:27:56.300 Canada is
00:27:56.620 implementing our
00:27:57.200 1.3 billion
00:27:58.100 border plan,
00:27:59.080 reinforcing the
00:27:59.760 border with
00:28:00.200 new choppers,
00:28:01.120 technology, and
00:28:01.840 personnel.
00:28:02.600 Enhanced
00:28:02.840 coordination with
00:28:03.900 our American
00:28:04.420 partners and
00:28:05.060 increased
00:28:05.360 resources to
00:28:06.040 stop the
00:28:06.360 flow of
00:28:06.640 fentanyl.
00:28:07.420 Nearly
00:28:07.580 10,000
00:28:08.100 frontline
00:28:08.460 personnel are
00:28:09.940 and we'll
00:28:10.380 be working
00:28:10.820 on protecting
00:28:11.560 the border,
00:28:12.040 he wrote.
00:28:13.160 Okay, so I
00:28:14.280 will leave this
00:28:14.780 article for
00:28:15.340 you.
00:28:16.860 I am not
00:28:17.660 going to read
00:28:18.540 the whole
00:28:18.860 thing because
00:28:19.520 we've all
00:28:19.900 seen Potato
00:28:20.520 Puppet lie
00:28:21.600 his way into
00:28:23.320 victory, lie
00:28:24.180 his way out
00:28:25.800 of honesty, and
00:28:27.260 I guess he's
00:28:27.700 devastated because
00:28:28.380 the Aga Khan has
00:28:29.280 passed away.
00:28:30.200 Well, too
00:28:30.800 effing bad,
00:28:32.520 right?
00:28:32.840 Didn't he get
00:28:33.200 in trouble the
00:28:33.700 first time with
00:28:34.800 the Aga Khan,
00:28:35.520 you know, a
00:28:35.920 free holiday from
00:28:36.980 some kind of
00:28:37.400 religious zealot?
00:28:38.040 So, who
00:28:39.740 cares?
00:28:40.880 Anyhow, ladies
00:28:41.280 and gentlemen,
00:28:41.920 I'm going to
00:28:42.180 leave these
00:28:42.480 articles in my
00:28:43.020 description one
00:28:43.620 more time.
00:28:44.180 If you like and
00:28:44.620 hear what you
00:28:44.860 see, click
00:28:45.240 like, subscribe,
00:28:46.340 share this
00:28:46.720 podcast, or
00:28:47.400 do not be
00:28:48.800 shy, ladies
00:28:49.340 and gentlemen.
00:28:50.240 Give me a
00:28:50.660 thumbs up and
00:28:51.240 once a reminder
00:28:51.880 to wherever
00:28:52.720 you comment,
00:28:53.360 please comment.
00:28:53.920 Tell me where
00:28:54.200 you're from so
00:28:54.700 I get a
00:28:55.000 consensus.
00:28:56.040 The Yankee
00:28:56.880 Tango algorithm
00:28:58.280 is telling me
00:28:58.820 here, there,
00:28:59.640 but I want you,
00:29:00.740 my wonderful
00:29:01.100 audience, to tell
00:29:01.660 me where you're
00:29:02.060 writing from.
00:29:02.920 I'm not going
00:29:03.300 to stalk you,
00:29:04.140 just, you know,
00:29:04.620 whatever your
00:29:05.040 screen name is and
00:29:05.900 say, hi, how
00:29:06.480 you doing,
00:29:06.880 whatever, from
00:29:07.560 blah, blah,
00:29:07.920 blah, blah,
00:29:08.040 blah.
00:29:08.820 You know, I
00:29:09.240 don't care if
00:29:09.560 you're from
00:29:09.800 Kent, England.
00:29:10.540 I don't care if
00:29:11.380 you're from
00:29:11.720 Kitchener, Waterloo.
00:29:12.580 I don't care if
00:29:13.140 you're from
00:29:13.440 Kentucky.
00:29:14.340 Let me know
00:29:14.880 where you're
00:29:15.180 writing from,
00:29:15.680 ladies and
00:29:15.940 gentlemen.
00:29:16.220 Please let me
00:29:16.840 know.
00:29:17.540 Okay, just give
00:29:18.200 me a better
00:29:18.500 consensus of
00:29:19.120 what's going on
00:29:19.620 here, too.
00:29:20.580 Anyhow, like I
00:29:21.720 said, I'm just
00:29:23.300 getting winning
00:29:23.620 here.
00:29:23.840 I'm getting kind
00:29:24.160 of emotional,
00:29:24.820 too, because,
00:29:25.440 you know, this
00:29:25.900 stuff just drives
00:29:26.740 me nuts.
00:29:27.720 This buffoonery
00:29:28.320 before me, you
00:29:29.840 know, it's
00:29:30.360 just, and
00:29:31.220 hopefully it
00:29:32.420 probably pisses
00:29:33.000 you off, too,
00:29:33.740 and it should,
00:29:34.600 it should,
00:29:35.400 especially my
00:29:36.120 fellow Canucks
00:29:36.680 out there who
00:29:37.580 have invested
00:29:38.320 time and effort
00:29:39.300 in this country
00:29:39.900 and my fellow
00:29:41.640 veterans as
00:29:42.460 well, and even
00:29:44.700 the veterans we
00:29:45.360 had to bury.
00:29:47.760 You know what I
00:29:48.440 mean?
00:29:50.200 So we've,
00:29:51.740 we've got to,
00:29:56.740 we, we,
00:29:59.140 we just got to
00:30:01.320 focus on what's
00:30:02.040 that flag behind
00:30:02.800 me there, right?
00:30:06.100 It's what it's
00:30:06.700 fighting for,
00:30:07.320 ladies and
00:30:07.640 gentlemen.
00:30:08.560 It is, and
00:30:09.860 I'll fight for
00:30:13.520 it to my last
00:30:14.060 fucking breath.
00:30:15.620 I'll leave it
00:30:16.180 at that, ladies
00:30:16.540 and gentlemen.
00:30:17.000 I have been
00:30:17.440 Krusty Canuck on
00:30:18.120 this beautiful
00:30:18.560 5th of February,
00:30:20.400 ladies and
00:30:20.660 gentlemen.
00:30:21.420 5th of February
00:30:22.060 2025.
00:30:23.020 It's colder
00:30:23.340 outside.
00:30:24.280 It was a nice
00:30:24.720 balmy minus 23
00:30:26.340 with a windchill
00:30:27.000 of minus 34.
00:30:27.900 Burr, that's
00:30:30.080 fucking cold,
00:30:31.540 but keep your
00:30:33.320 wits about you.
00:30:34.000 Keep your
00:30:34.280 vehicles plugged
00:30:34.880 in and all that
00:30:35.660 too.
00:30:36.120 Don't be idiots
00:30:37.460 on the highways.
00:30:38.480 Take your time
00:30:39.080 if need be.
00:30:39.900 If you're going
00:30:40.420 to be late for
00:30:40.840 work, let your
00:30:41.280 boss know you're
00:30:41.980 going to be late
00:30:42.380 for work because
00:30:43.160 of the weather.
00:30:43.900 They'll probably
00:30:44.400 thank you for it,
00:30:45.420 but needless to
00:30:45.940 say, just go
00:30:46.880 about your
00:30:47.220 business.
00:30:48.180 Keep your
00:30:48.460 chins up.
00:30:49.000 Be proud of
00:30:49.560 who you are.
00:30:50.120 Be proud of
00:30:50.540 your accomplishments.
00:30:51.280 Be proud of
00:30:51.640 your country.
00:30:52.940 Okay, this
00:30:53.620 half-assed team
00:30:54.380 Canada that our
00:30:55.020 government's promoting,
00:30:55.840 they're not team
00:30:56.560 Canada.
00:30:56.940 or team
00:30:58.320 Wanker.
00:31:00.020 Well, that's
00:31:00.620 just my thought.
00:31:02.260 But like I said,
00:31:02.840 ladies and
00:31:03.040 gentlemen, I've been
00:31:03.340 Krusty Kinnock on
00:31:03.900 this beautiful
00:31:04.240 5th of February
00:31:04.920 2025.
00:31:07.080 I wish good
00:31:07.480 things for you
00:31:08.220 all out there.
00:31:09.780 Stay focused,
00:31:10.420 stay real.
00:31:11.200 And this
00:31:11.660 episode's songs,
00:31:12.880 I got two
00:31:13.460 instrumentals that
00:31:15.160 I picked for
00:31:15.780 these episode's
00:31:16.700 songs.
00:31:17.500 Joe Satriani,
00:31:18.980 exceptional
00:31:19.500 guitarist, one
00:31:20.640 hell of a
00:31:20.920 guitarist, a track
00:31:22.160 called Motorcycle
00:31:22.980 Driver from his
00:31:23.820 Extremist album
00:31:24.540 of 1992.
00:31:26.440 That's one of
00:31:27.040 those songs when
00:31:27.600 you're driving on
00:31:28.100 the highway, you
00:31:28.580 got to crank it
00:31:29.220 right up.
00:31:29.760 It just, it fits
00:31:30.600 the moment, fits
00:31:31.300 the scenario.
00:31:32.300 Another instrumental
00:31:33.200 by a great band
00:31:34.600 that made their,
00:31:35.680 they made their
00:31:36.140 debut in the
00:31:36.920 mid-80s, but
00:31:38.700 their breakthrough
00:31:39.180 album, Faith No
00:31:40.340 More, the real
00:31:40.820 thing, Woodpecker
00:31:42.260 from Mars.
00:31:44.260 Take it as you
00:31:45.040 will.
00:31:45.400 It's just a great
00:31:46.100 sci-fi tune for me.
00:31:47.800 I get a lot of
00:31:48.480 sci-fi ideas in my
00:31:49.520 head and listen to
00:31:50.040 that song, so I
00:31:50.780 want to share that
00:31:51.300 with you, ladies
00:31:51.740 and gentlemen, so
00:31:52.320 Joe Satriani from
00:31:55.760 his Extremist album,
00:31:57.180 Motorcycle Driver
00:31:57.960 and Faith No
00:31:58.620 More from the
00:31:59.100 real thing,
00:32:00.080 Woodpecker from
00:32:00.660 Mars, so please
00:32:01.500 enjoy that at your
00:32:02.220 leisure, ladies
00:32:02.660 and gentlemen, and
00:32:03.720 crank it up fucking
00:32:04.880 loud, right?
00:32:06.180 That's all I got to
00:32:06.660 say, but you
00:32:07.820 know, that's it for
00:32:09.580 me today.
00:32:10.080 I will try to see
00:32:10.800 you in a couple
00:32:11.260 days, maybe Friday,
00:32:12.260 maybe Saturday.
00:32:14.140 I will have to see
00:32:15.020 you, ladies and
00:32:15.360 gentlemen, but like I
00:32:16.620 always say, look after
00:32:17.280 your friends and
00:32:17.780 loved ones, do what
00:32:18.360 you can, help you
00:32:18.920 out in these trying
00:32:19.360 times, and don't be
00:32:21.180 afraid to stand up
00:32:22.100 for what's fucking
00:32:22.760 right, and just do
00:32:23.900 your best in the
00:32:24.480 meantime to be good
00:32:25.160 to people, okay?
00:32:27.040 And like I always
00:32:27.880 say, humanity and
00:32:30.080 merit wins the day.
00:32:32.440 Take care, and I'll
