00:01:30.780 and coming soon veterans for freedom tv that's right ladies and gentlemen i'm your host crusty canuck
00:01:35.700 hope all is well in your world hope everything is doing well for you all out there in la la land
00:01:42.980 uh well news today news today well past couple days anyway uh yves blanchet the leader of les blocs
00:01:50.480 quebecois and of course the premier uh francois legault have basically stood their ground
00:01:56.280 but there's an updates on these stories as i speak too i'm just gonna weigh the odds here and speak my
00:02:02.100 mind in regards to the whole quebec against oil but how much they love the equalization you know
00:02:09.260 that's like being a uh how do you say a vegan working at a steakhouse they hate this steak they
00:02:15.540 don't want you eating the steak they don't want you to have the steak but my god they need the job and
00:02:19.800 they want the cash and the nordiridia being part of it you know i mean so we're not seeing any kind
00:02:26.340 of real balance here when it comes to canadian unity and this whole team canada that the premiers are
00:02:31.220 talking about with the exception of scott moe and uh daniel smith what is the quebec premier
00:02:37.680 thinking here now i've got some videos and some articles here queued up uh for your pleasure ladies
00:02:42.480 and gentlemen in regards to what quebec is doing in regards to the whole energy east uh debacle and
00:02:49.560 when it comes to equalization and uh an interesting article from 2019 from a terence corcoran uh from the
00:02:55.400 financial post on alternatives that canada can do when it comes to shipping oil and i'll make a long
00:03:01.860 story short this canuck here is getting sick and tired of hearing about the equalization model
00:03:07.520 and people whining about oil in this country now and today justin trudeau has had his uh issue uh his
00:03:15.640 little briefing his summit there and unfortunately enough there was a lot of media that wasn't allowed
00:03:19.580 in there okay but he had his briefing he had his summit in regards to what about donald trump uh
00:03:25.840 pushing canada be the 51st state because the way these guys are thinking it's a real threat
00:03:30.440 i don't really think it's a threat i think it's just trolling who knows if he's serious or not time
00:03:35.780 will tell but the way these ass clowns are carrying on you know justin's great team of failed politicians
00:03:42.140 to come and decide what's good for canada even though they don't really give two shits about canada
00:03:48.220 we all know it because motley notley's part of this team so that's self-explanatory rachel notley
00:03:53.920 the former premier of alberta her ndp halfwits ideology uh condemning every male journalist for
00:04:01.400 asking her too many questions uh she was quoted saying oh don't you mansplain that to me right
00:04:06.560 so that's that's an idea of how or who we have on team canada that's going to lace up on our behalf
00:04:14.840 uh these people could not forecheck a proper hockey game if you paid them and instructed
00:04:19.900 them how to do so so that's about my faith in justin trudeau's team canada and make a long story
00:04:25.920 short um they're afraid and they're worried and now they're discussing the whole inter-provincial
00:04:33.420 getting rid of the trade barriers getting rid of all these things in regards to uh helping canada
00:04:39.260 get along now uh premier legault was even quoted saying that it's socially unacceptable uh to have
00:04:47.280 energy east in quebec okay you know laying pipelines is unacceptable because uh it's not the consensus
00:04:54.820 now i have a story here from the cbc okay that begs different now ironically enough from cbc who would
00:05:01.460 have thought the cbc would have done a kind of an unbiased little story there right that's far few
00:05:07.400 in between but i'll cue this video up here shortly ladies and gentlemen and then you decide uh i don't
00:05:12.340 have a video of mr blanchette saying uh it's unacceptable it's not good for quebec uh he was
00:05:17.960 more or less quoted saying it's not good for quebec not good for the planet and not good for the
00:05:21.900 environment yet how many quebeckers out there now give me a consensus now i'm not trying to diss
00:05:27.900 on my fellow canadians i'm not trying to diss on you quebeckers it's just le bloc and the provincial
00:05:35.100 government has really really taken their sweet time to prove once again that their heads are up
00:05:42.660 their asses and they're not really thinking about the big picture when it comes to the economy in this
00:05:47.940 country because this fiscal year alone la belle provence has received 13.6 billion dollars in
00:05:56.740 equalization payments and yet they don't want oil going through the province like i said it's like a
00:06:03.900 vegan working in a steakhouse but hey i digress anyway here's a story from the cbc in regards to
00:06:10.600 how the goal is kind of sidestepping doing a 180 on this possibly but anyway ladies and gentlemen you
00:06:16.560 guys decide because uh it's just they're on the bus they're off the bus they can't fucking decide
00:06:22.400 which is which they want to do this they want to do that but uh you know well we'll have to see time
00:06:27.300 will tell even though the majority of quebeckers from the stats i've seen want a gas pipeline to go
00:06:33.780 through because not only will help canada but it will help quebec anyway you guys decide and listen
00:06:39.760 to the story here prompted the provincial government to reconsider the construction of oil and gas pipelines
00:06:46.860 here's what premier francois legault had to say while visiting the bose region if some projects are
00:06:53.480 table we'll look at them but we need social acceptability his government is timidly opening
00:07:00.320 the door to revive lng quebec it is a pipeline project that would bring liquefied natural gas
00:07:06.680 from alberta to the province quebec refused to authorize the project back in 2021 for environmental
00:07:13.200 reasons advocates like ecuter are saying this is the wrong path in europe and even in the rest of
00:07:20.080 the world we are seeing a dip in the consumption of natural gas so there's really no need at the
00:07:26.720 moment for new infrastructure other okay before i finish this story here that individual fails to
00:07:33.520 realize too that germany was asking for natural gas and they had to revert back to coal so maybe that's
00:07:39.660 why there's a little surprise in the less consumption or in europe uh for natural gas because some of
00:07:45.620 these individuals some countries had to revert back to coal anyway i'll carry on politicians are
00:07:50.940 reflecting on the energy east project a pipeline that would have carried crude oil from alberta across
00:07:57.680 six provinces to a terminal in saint john a project abandoned in 2017 i think in the aftermath of what
00:08:05.580 has happened we do need to reflect a little bit right now much of ontario and quebec get their oil
00:08:11.360 from a pipeline that runs from canada into the united states and back up to canada and much of the
00:08:16.460 atlantic provinces get their oil from the united states first nations could be open to the idea if
00:08:22.500 they are part of any upcoming discussions if it doesn't have social acceptance by our people our
00:08:29.760 nations it's going to be very hard for governments to go through the montreal economic institute also
00:08:37.260 says that the idea of developing energy sectors in the province has already made some progress our last
00:08:44.640 poll from from 2024 found that quebecers were twice as likely to support uh developing our oil and gas
00:08:50.820 sector then oppose it quebecers were twice as likely to support remember that ladies and gentlemen twice as
00:08:59.480 likely so legault and blanchette are talking through their ass uh so what they read as social
00:09:07.360 acceptability um is is to us a lack of political will that we've seen these past few years and that is uh
00:09:15.640 that's changing the provincial and federal governments just launched a joint committee
00:09:20.440 on energy and resources to talk about quebec's priorities regarding energy development
00:09:26.380 see there you go ladies and gentlemen there you go there you go okay it was said and it was discussed
00:09:37.060 now there's a stat out there uh i think 74 percent of quebecers do want it they want they want the
00:09:44.780 pipeline not only because it's the economically sound thing to do because the more oil canada sells
00:09:50.200 to other markets the more the equalization
00:09:55.340 who knew wow the more money going out and people buying our product that means more money coming in
00:10:05.280 and that also means you get more equalization or it also means that the equalization model might be
00:10:14.200 annihilated and we'll have to sit at the tables and have better discussions in regards to who gets
00:10:20.280 what and who gets who and who gets their fair share of the canadian currency right and all the time will
00:10:27.680 tell we'll be back after this stay updated and follow crusty canuck on facebook twitter gap telegram

00:11:14.460 this show broadcast live i mean it might premiere it on the yankee tango please let me know where
00:11:20.440 you're writing from i don't care if you're in the states i don't care if you're in canada care
00:11:23.600 whatever just your town and the country you're in just to give me an idea of how i'm reaching out
00:11:29.200 to people too because i'm getting more and more people watching and seeing
00:11:31.960 seeing and believing ladies and gentlemen sorry i'm carrying out this episode so you've seen the
00:11:41.120 indecisiveness indecisiveness that's been going on especially jonathan wilkinson there mr
00:11:46.300 ex-biomass expert mr environmental expert uh swearing that oil is filthy and dirty too
00:11:52.740 and now every liberal is sidestepping every liberal is going backwards on the whole bill c69 c48 c48
00:12:00.320 the anti-tanker ban not the reform uh ban or bail reform issue and they can't decide whether to come
00:12:07.520 or go to go up or down or east or west okay now for anybody who's got any balls uh daniel smith is
00:12:14.000 doing the best that she can with what she's got now she's getting in trouble from naheed nenshi
00:12:18.180 mister uh if you're white and you protest you're a white supremacist you know that wanker that kind
00:12:23.320 of guy uh calling her in regards to something to do with the alberta health care issue now let's not
00:12:31.060 worry about that we know we have issues with health care all over the country not just here in alberta or
00:12:36.580 ontario but all over the country and we should focus more on the longevity of the economy of this
00:12:43.120 nation rather than the nitpicking and cherry picking that some of these lefties nd peers and liberals and
00:12:49.560 just whiny kids do on a regular basis okay we're sitting in a crisis right now ladies and gentlemen
00:12:55.160 we're sitting at a crossroads of what's got to be done this country has to start making some money
00:13:01.120 not just printing money like the government likes to do oh we'll just borrow some more and print some
00:13:06.220 more oh we'll just borrow some more and print some more and then you the wonderful citizens you get
00:13:10.540 to pay tax on it isn't that nice no it is not nice so to the quebec government not the quebec people
00:13:22.940 i got a lot of respect to quebec people because i served a lot of quebec soldiers during my time in
00:13:27.260 the military it is the quebec government that has their heads up their ass it's time they pull it
00:13:33.420 out clean off the mess and start focusing on the country as a whole it doesn't matter if you feel if
00:13:39.620 you're a separatist or if you're not a separatist you do you earn canadian money you have a canadian
00:13:44.840 passport you follow canadian laws do the math it's that simple okay so don't give me this crap about
00:13:53.240 sovereignty and identity no one's taking away the french language no one's telling you to speak a
00:13:59.240 certain way you speak with the mother tongue and that's for all canadians not just quebecers and a
00:14:06.200 handful of here a handful there that's for all canadians okay unfortunately majority of canucks
00:14:11.740 speak english and a lot of trade and commerce and business is done in english that's just the way of
00:14:17.700 the world right now i can't change it you can't change it so we have to do our best to accommodate
00:14:22.980 that to get ahead do you understand and that's not a slam to culture that's not a slam to anybody
00:14:29.360 that's just the way the world's working right now okay so here's an article from terence corcoran
00:14:36.940 uh from 2019 okay and i will read this along and i'll keep this in my description ladies and gentlemen
00:14:45.060 as per for your leisure to read at your own and uh we will go and from there and think about this for
00:14:52.220 a second okay terence corcoran the west doesn't need quebec to get its oil flowing east there's
00:14:57.500 another way and like i said this is from the 6th november 2019 so oil can move year round through a
00:15:02.680 pipeline to tanker operation loaded from a facility on the west coast of hudson bay that's
00:15:08.180 churchill manitoba ladies and gentlemen the future of albert's oil and gas resources have never looked
00:15:13.340 grimmer anti-pipeline activists promoting the ideology of climate change have infiltrated federal
00:15:17.860 and provincial governments leaving canada's fossil fuel rich western provinces in seeming isolation
00:15:23.860 some first nation groups and environmentalists went to court tuesday to shut down the trans mountain
00:15:28.720 excel oil sands pipeline to canada's west coast in quebec bloc quebecois federal leader yves francois
00:15:34.980 blanchette and premier francois legault promise they promised the time to block any attempt to build
00:15:40.760 new pipeline capacity through the province to canada's east coast there is an alternative for
00:15:45.840 the west for a bird's oil and maybe for the future of confederation to put it bluntly the west doesn't
00:15:50.820 need quebec to get oil to the east and other parts of the world where fossil fuel demand is set to
00:15:56.240 grow no matter how hard the united nations tries to shut down veteran canadian energy transport expert
00:16:01.320 michael h bell has a plan in articles on this page as recently as last year bell outlined a proposal
00:16:07.700 that would liberate alberta and saskatchewan from the constitutional clutches of quebec and british
00:16:12.780 columbia canada could economically safely ship oil from alberta by pipeline to hudson bay where it be
00:16:19.060 picked up by tanker for transport over the top of quebec and newfoundland and delivered to the east coast
00:16:23.940 and ultimately the rest of the world okay bell maintains that such an operation has shown
00:16:30.140 on the accompanying map would be environmentally sound and most cost effective bell himself is a
00:16:36.120 canadian arctic shipping pioneer now think about this canadian arctic shipping pioneer he knows how
00:16:42.000 to navigate ice everything okay he is a former senior vice president of fed nav a canadian shipping
00:16:48.040 consortium where he was in charge of fed nav's arctic operations and was involved with petro canada
00:16:54.340 and the arctic pilot project to determine the safety and economics of polar class ice breaking vessels
00:16:59.520 operating in arctic year round okay so there's a map here on the shipping lanes and what could be done
00:17:07.800 it's pretty self-explanatory ladies and gentlemen you know where church hill is polar bear country a lot of first
00:17:12.680 nations up there a lot of first nations could really use the work too so it's a win-win scenario
00:17:18.520 canadian economy helping our first peoples out and just giving canada a good go on the world stage
00:17:24.580 you know i mean but there's a handful of people like le bloc and the whole lego consortium
00:17:31.720 are screwing it up so i will leave this article in the description for you ladies and gentlemen and you
00:17:39.460 can decide at your leisure right it would help people out it would you know i've also heard
00:17:46.060 rumblings too that maybe you can build a pipeline to cornwall and from cornwall ontario which sits i
00:17:52.140 think in the bay of quinti or the top end of the bay of quinti ah you can put ships in there and go
00:17:57.620 up to st lawrence i could be wrong but there's possibilities tons of possibilities the thing is we
00:18:06.200 just need leaders to pull their heads out of their asses and start living in the fucking now
00:18:10.460 stay updated and follow crusty canuck on facebook twitter gab telegram youtube and podbean
00:18:18.880 subscribe today and donate at crusty canuck.ca
00:18:22.400 and you're back ladies and gentlemen episode 337 of crusty canuck podcast socially unacceptable but
00:18:30.980 give us the cash i'll see that's right oh you know that's enough of my jean chretien impression
00:18:36.140 i might break into some money my thought i'm mighty python impression too get out of here you silly
00:18:40.700 english can niggot right okay i'm digressing here but i i think you all see my point here
00:18:48.000 okay now here's a little spiel from ezra levant from rebel and uh he sums it up pretty well i i like his
00:18:55.500 dialogue and i like rebel news because they're not bells and whistles they're not all flashy
00:19:00.760 they're just homegrown blue collar can do people that get the job done ladies and gentlemen
00:19:08.120 and like i always say you know think for yourself encourage yourself but think about this country
00:19:14.460 here too i'm not gonna play the whole video maybe just about five minutes of it but i'll leave this
00:19:18.740 link in my description too at your leisure you can read it along later on too and uh well we just go
00:19:26.400 from there you know he talks more about the social acceptability and basically gives his point of view
00:19:32.460 on the whole lego thing so like i say jill ladies and gentlemen you think for yourselves and draw your
00:19:39.220 own conclusions okay so i i think he's sucking and blowing at the same time but nothing beats
00:19:46.460 the premier of quebec francois lego who like the others was uh calling for a team canada approach
00:19:54.740 namely shut off that alberta oil to pun oh sorry some technical issues here oh what happened here
00:20:02.940 oh my goodness okay what is going on ladies and gentlemen what has happened can you hear me can you hear me
00:20:11.640 now can you hear me can you hear me now can you hear me okay what has gone on all right well everything
00:20:19.500 went blank here for some reason i don't know what the story is what the issue is but things have gone
00:20:25.040 blank on this thing let's see here okay uh what has happened can you see me anyhow i'll keep carrying on
00:20:35.600 here with the story uh sorry there ladies and gentlemen a bit of a technical glitch there i don't
00:20:42.040 know whether the video didn't load properly or what have you uh needs to say though i will leave this
00:20:46.540 video in the description as per uh but basically he just goes on and says how lego really does nothing
00:20:52.320 and he's afraid not mr levan but uh mr lego and that's what the consensus i'm getting i'm getting
00:20:58.820 the consensus that all these politicians are afraid afraid of what a public outcry right like i've spent
00:21:05.240 time in northern quebec uh during those winter months and it gets pretty damn cold and you can't
00:21:10.360 expect the electrical grid to do what it's supposed to do you cannot expect the electrical grid uh to do
00:21:16.280 everything for you in a timely manner right it's not gonna it's not gonna do what it's supposed to do
00:21:22.940 it's not gonna help you you know that's the thing you know um it's just just getting ridiculous
00:21:31.280 how every time we turn around and there's always somebody complaining about canadian progress
00:21:37.160 but see that canadian progress gives quebec a lot of money like i mentioned earlier 13.9 billion
00:21:43.880 dollars right so if you want more money lego if you want more money yves blanchette
00:21:50.840 you're gonna have to fucking accept the fact that there's a product in this country that can go
00:21:59.480 now quebec does even sit on its own natural gas reserves why can't they put that to market hey
00:22:05.160 why can't they use that no of course not it's dirty it's filthy right you're gonna use it in
00:22:15.360 reserve in case there's you know the world goes insane you got something to fall back on i think
00:22:21.440 it's just being kind of greedy don't you huh that's just me though okay but like i said i'll include
00:22:27.640 these articles in uh my description there too i'm still having trouble queuing up the whole rebel
00:22:31.640 video uh issue there but uh i i think ladies and gentlemen you get the point here too and you notice
00:22:38.460 how the liberals are rallying together to open up the interprovincial trading to break down the
00:22:44.020 barriers right they had 10 years to do this in fact they had about 25 years to do this it doesn't
00:22:49.740 matter if you're conservative or liberal ndp okay it seems like everybody's getting a piece of the pie
00:22:55.480 one way or the other if i made a made a pie for people and invite people over and one individual
00:23:00.400 decided to stick his or her hand and grab a handful rather than me trying to cut a piece for everybody
00:23:06.840 what do you think of an individual who does that right why do you what would you think of an
00:23:13.480 individual who does that right so let's say that individual was quebec and they stuck their hand in
00:23:19.000 the pie that they didn't make or create yet i offer them some they take that chunk well i'd ask them to
00:23:26.980 leave stay updated and follow crusty canuck on facebook twitter gab telegram youtube and podbean

00:23:39.280 and you're back ladies and gentlemen of the podcast episode 337 socially unacceptable but
00:23:47.840 give us the cash that's right when i hear these separatists talk all the time it's like they
00:23:53.900 complain about how bad it is for quebec and how they're treated and how the west is is ganging up
00:23:59.080 and the west doesn't need this the west doesn't need that and yet the west makes the stuff that
00:24:04.180 blinds your pockets the west gives you all that money so you can have these social programs the
00:24:10.460 west has given you billions to have these great standings these great standings now if if legault
00:24:19.040 and yves blanchette sit there and say that quebec is a have-not province then how come the majority of
00:24:27.120 the immigrants that have come to canada go to montreal or go to toronto and the surrounding areas
00:24:33.660 because you have things you have the programs and a lot of that equalization supports those programs
00:24:44.940 we know it
00:24:45.860 so you can sit here all day and tell me in french and in english how it's so important and how quebec needs
00:24:55.500 this and i've actually had some run-ins with some quebecers online mind you who said they were superior
00:25:01.440 superior to a lot of things they couldn't tell me why they were superior but they were hinting at
00:25:07.520 their language and language has got nothing to do with it it's about living in this country
00:25:11.720 this country's history is english and french french and english this country's history has a proud
00:25:19.120 sharing and understanding look at the upper canada rebellion i referred to in my last episode
00:25:24.220 upper and lower canada took on the crown it wasn't a great glorious bloody battle but the crown stood
00:25:33.760 back and realized we better not fuck around here anymore with the family compact because we've got
00:25:40.980 the canadian settlers here both french and english standing up for what they believe is right
00:25:46.040 so in a way
00:25:49.020 that little rebellion
00:25:52.020 might have been a revolution
00:25:55.600 and then where would we be today
00:25:58.040 it's something to ponder ladies and gentlemen something to think about ladies and gentlemen
00:26:02.740 right so when i hear guys like yves belchet and his party supporters
00:26:07.440 and lego on the bus off the bus
00:26:10.440 on the bus off the bus you my wonderful quebec listeners out there take a look at what they're
00:26:16.440 doing they cannot be precise they cannot be decisive
00:26:20.600 okay the energy east pipeline would guarantee some quebec jobs
00:26:26.620 and stimulate the quebec economy just like it stimulate the ontario economy
00:26:31.360 manitoba saskatchewan and alberta and then the rest of the country and then maybe we could
00:26:39.380 formulate a better equalization plan where everybody and especially the real have-nots
00:26:45.460 in this country can get some goddamn payday and enjoy the fruits of everyone's labors
00:26:53.600 rather than just a handful of liberal politicians that can't decide whether to wipe or to pick
00:26:58.820 or a handful of quebec politicians who spend more time worrying about their pride
00:27:03.940 than the welfare of the quebecer okay something to think about ladies and gentlemen
00:27:10.220 it's a reminder too if you like to hear what you see click like subscribe share this podcast

00:28:10.220 perspective uh they put on some great episodes today too i know the consensus right now the news just now
00:28:15.540 is that christopher freeland is worried about foreign interference and yet didn't they say there was
00:28:20.740 nothing going on here a little while ago didn't justice hoax say there's nothing to worry about
00:28:25.880 yeah so let's keep that in mind ladies and gentlemen this shit's about to fly and i think
00:28:36.640 it's pretty glorious too but i i think people are starting to wake up and smell the real coffee
00:28:41.920 and understand what it takes to and uh i heard uh from clyde do something today too
00:28:47.220 that kicking horse coffee is not what it's supposed to be
00:28:50.880 right i guess they're on this uh this anti-trump campaign and ironically enough kicking horse coffee
00:28:58.740 i think is 60 owned by an american company so if you're going to buy canadian ladies and gentlemen
00:29:04.560 i highly suggest you buy truly born and bred in canada okay now coffee doesn't grow in canada
00:29:12.520 but there are coffee companies out there that are canadian based and they actually make a good brew
00:29:17.520 try some of the no-name brands you know my wife and i we have a few brands that we like and all
00:29:22.760 this too um i would like the opportunity of maybe making a crusty canuck coffee what do you folks think
00:29:28.800 let me know in the comments okay but uh i think you get my point here anyway i'm not going to waste
