00:00:00.000 Ladies and gentlemen, to another episode of the Krusty Connect Podcast
00:00:04.940 on this beautiful November 8th, 2019.
00:00:09.140 Today's episode will consist of, well, remembrance.
00:00:13.020 Remembrance Day is coming pretty close, and appreciation,
00:00:16.600 and more of the political frickin' dogma that's surrounding our beloved poppy.
00:00:20.740 All that and more coming up in the Krusty Connect Podcast.
00:00:23.440 Stay tuned.
00:00:30.000 I am hard. You will not like me.
00:00:32.040 Yes, sir.
00:00:35.580 There is no racial bigotry here.
00:00:40.340 There you are always what we're working.
00:00:44.480 That's right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Krusty Connect Podcast.
00:00:46.960 I am your host, Krusty Connect, and today we are discussing,
00:00:51.000 well, at least I'm discussing, Remembrance Day, Remembrance, Appreciation,
00:00:55.240 and the big political fiasco surrounding our poppy.
00:01:00.500 Yes, that's right, ladies and gentlemen.
00:01:02.400 There was a couple of high school students in Manitoba,
00:01:04.700 I believe at a place called Stonewall Academy,
00:01:06.740 who were suspended because they refused to wear the multicolored poppy.
00:01:12.160 Now, there have been mainstream media news outlets who have called that fake news.
00:01:17.160 However, people at the Rebel and people at the Postmillennial begged to differ.
00:01:21.980 They were actually on the ground and investigating,
00:01:24.180 and they actually talked to one of the students,
00:01:27.680 and a few other students for that matter,
00:01:29.580 in regards to the multicolored poppy.
00:01:32.960 Now, I have said before in numerous episodes, ladies and gentlemen,
00:01:36.740 I don't care who's gay, who's straight, who's bi, who's tri,
00:01:40.420 who, whatever, knock yourself out.
00:01:43.280 Do it to the best of your ability.
00:01:44.640 Do it well.
00:01:45.320 Love who you want.
00:01:46.620 I don't care.
00:01:50.040 But we're living in a day and age now
00:01:51.980 where every ounce of someone's sexuality minus heterosexuality
00:01:58.080 is turning into a fucking disgusting political fucking joke.
00:02:04.360 There, I've said it.
00:02:05.480 It's a fucking joke, really.
00:02:08.480 Excuse me.
00:02:09.220 There are people I talk to offline and online
00:02:11.780 in regards to the whole walk-away Canada thing,
00:02:15.580 the whole red pill mentality,
00:02:18.000 people just waking up using common sense
00:02:20.080 and just being a little more appreciative of who they are
00:02:23.480 and what they are and what they do,
00:02:26.220 regardless of whom they sleep with
00:02:28.500 or what they sleep with
00:02:29.880 or even whom they identify as.
00:02:32.480 Now, as a veteran,
00:02:35.060 I'm not going to sit here and say,
00:02:37.840 yeah, I'm a veteran.
00:02:38.460 I deserve this.
00:02:39.100 I deserve that.
00:02:40.060 No, I did my fucking job.
00:02:42.080 I did it the best of my ability.
00:02:44.160 And there are people that I got to know
00:02:45.720 that we're friends with
00:02:46.520 who are not here with us today
00:02:48.020 because they did their job
00:02:49.780 to the best of their fucking ability.
00:02:51.960 A couple of those lads lost their life to PTSD.
00:02:54.960 A few of them lost their lives in battle.
00:02:59.460 And a few of them lost their lives to other things, too.
00:03:02.480 So Remembrance Day to me
00:03:04.060 is more than just putting on a nice shirt and tie,
00:03:07.040 putting on my medals,
00:03:08.400 staying at attention,
00:03:09.200 giving the salute to the last post.
00:03:12.260 It's a matter of remembering
00:03:13.540 and appreciating
00:03:16.540 and realizing what we really take for granted in this country
00:03:21.700 and how we do it.
00:03:24.220 And we're all guilty of it.
00:03:26.140 We're all guilty of taking for granted
00:03:28.740 our day-to-day life.
00:03:32.480 And when you look at those men and women
00:03:33.620 from World War I, World War II,
00:03:37.700 Korea,
00:03:38.700 every peace support and peacekeeping operation,
00:03:41.400 and even those men
00:03:43.380 that volunteered in the 1960s
00:03:45.680 to leave Canada
00:03:46.720 and join the American services for Vietnam,
00:03:50.820 they were doing
00:03:55.520 what they thought was right.
00:03:59.600 Regardless of what your personal opinion is on war,
00:04:02.420 regardless of what your personal opinion is on world conflict
00:04:04.800 or conflict,
00:04:06.460 nonetheless,
00:04:06.940 the dynamic of that time was,
00:04:12.160 holy shit,
00:04:12.800 there's an enemy,
00:04:13.760 we better do something,
00:04:15.080 we better stop it,
00:04:16.300 and this is what we're going to do.
00:04:18.920 Now,
00:04:19.760 when I read this story,
00:04:22.800 and I'll post links
00:04:23.660 from the Rebel Media
00:04:24.980 and from the Post Lineal
00:04:26.240 on this subject,
00:04:27.920 it basically means that
00:04:30.940 this young girl
00:04:32.540 did not want to wear
00:04:34.580 a multicolored poppy.
00:04:36.980 So,
00:04:37.580 she took it upon herself
00:04:38.640 to write
00:04:39.260 a little spiel
00:04:41.460 on a piece of paper
00:04:42.260 and spread it around the school.
00:04:44.220 And,
00:04:44.580 there was nothing really racist
00:04:46.240 or bigoted
00:04:46.880 about said issue.
00:04:49.500 I'll just look it up here
00:04:50.680 right now
00:04:51.220 as we speak.
00:04:52.520 But,
00:04:52.780 there was nothing
00:04:53.260 that,
00:04:53.940 you know,
00:04:55.360 made this girl,
00:04:58.140 she didn't say anything bigoted,
00:04:59.760 say anything hateful,
00:05:01.060 she didn't say anything wrong
00:05:02.440 and didn't say that
00:05:04.180 being gay or being lesbian
00:05:05.460 was a bad thing.
00:05:06.980 She just didn't want to comply
00:05:08.220 to the status quo.
00:05:10.180 She thought it was insulting
00:05:11.180 because her grandparents
00:05:12.020 were service members
00:05:13.480 and,
00:05:14.900 she thought it was insulting to them.
00:05:18.120 And,
00:05:18.660 rightfully so.
00:05:20.560 You know,
00:05:20.880 the poppy is red
00:05:21.940 for reasons.
00:05:23.260 It's red because
00:05:24.020 it represents the blood
00:05:25.060 that was spilt
00:05:26.280 in the battlefields
00:05:27.060 in Europe.
00:05:28.360 The black remembers
00:05:29.300 the widows
00:05:30.360 and the loved ones
00:05:31.080 that were left behind.
00:05:32.560 And,
00:05:33.060 the green represents
00:05:33.860 the land
00:05:34.400 that it affected.
00:05:36.460 And,
00:05:36.960 it doesn't matter
00:05:37.440 what your gender
00:05:38.800 is
00:05:39.900 or what you identify as
00:05:41.460 or who you sleep with.
00:05:43.180 The poppy has been inclusive
00:05:44.800 since its fucking inception.
00:05:49.360 And,
00:05:49.840 you can sit there
00:05:51.600 and scream
00:05:52.240 inclusivity
00:05:53.340 and diversity
00:05:54.120 all you fucking want
00:05:55.420 but you're basically
00:05:56.640 taking the old adage
00:05:57.900 of
00:05:58.220 if it ain't broke
00:06:00.000 well let's fix it anyway.
00:06:01.220 Well no.
00:06:01.860 The adage is basically
00:06:02.940 if it ain't broke
00:06:03.760 don't fix it.
00:06:05.860 Okay?
00:06:09.020 People forget
00:06:10.000 that
00:06:10.640 what if Hitler
00:06:12.260 won the war?
00:06:13.400 What would have happened?
00:06:14.180 What would have happened
00:06:16.180 to North America
00:06:17.160 as we know it?
00:06:18.880 Hmm?
00:06:21.400 What would have happened?
00:06:23.140 Take a wild guess.
00:06:24.880 What if
00:06:25.540 the Cold War
00:06:26.460 actually triggered
00:06:28.320 World War III
00:06:29.100 and there were no nukes
00:06:30.220 or anything
00:06:30.620 but there was
00:06:32.100 a conventional fight
00:06:33.040 in Europe?
00:06:33.400 How do you think
00:06:34.980 Europe would have looked
00:06:35.920 if the Soviets
00:06:37.280 won everything
00:06:38.280 in Europe?
00:06:40.360 Hmm?
00:06:41.960 So it puts that
00:06:42.660 in perspective.
00:06:44.000 Now typical Canadian
00:06:45.160 arrogance would be
00:06:45.960 oh that would never
00:06:46.560 happen here.
00:06:47.240 Oh no of course not.
00:06:48.020 We're peacekeepers.
00:06:48.740 We love everybody.
00:06:49.540 We're too nice
00:06:50.120 to have anything
00:06:51.200 like that happen
00:06:51.840 to Canada.
00:06:54.420 Yeah.
00:06:55.500 Toronto 18.
00:06:56.280 Right?
00:06:59.200 The Danforth shooter
00:07:00.100 having a few rifles
00:07:02.020 and some carfentanil
00:07:03.220 in his
00:07:04.760 in his personal
00:07:06.100 space.
00:07:07.520 Right?
00:07:08.020 When they searched
00:07:08.740 his apartment
00:07:09.260 all the access
00:07:10.120 to these guns
00:07:10.840 and carfentanil.
00:07:11.700 Not fentanyl
00:07:12.380 ladies and gentlemen.
00:07:13.060 Carfentanil.
00:07:13.940 The actual toxic
00:07:15.000 version of fentanyl.
00:07:18.760 But no
00:07:19.400 that wouldn't happen
00:07:19.960 to Canada.
00:07:20.400 No of course not.
00:07:21.080 No.
00:07:21.620 No.
00:07:21.980 Not at all.
00:07:24.000 No.
00:07:24.360 Nothing like that
00:07:24.840 would happen to Canada.
00:07:26.280 Right?
00:07:28.100 Anyway I'll be
00:07:28.880 leaving some links
00:07:29.460 from Canadian
00:07:30.220 Poly and Rebel
00:07:31.440 Media and the
00:07:32.800 Post Millennial
00:07:33.280 in regards to
00:07:34.480 this whole poppy
00:07:35.080 fiasco.
00:07:35.940 And I'll even make
00:07:36.600 mention to some
00:07:37.280 of the mainstream
00:07:38.020 media outlets who
00:07:39.040 more or less
00:07:39.480 deemed it as
00:07:40.000 fake news.
00:07:41.280 And yet you
00:07:41.740 actually see the
00:07:42.400 interview with
00:07:43.520 the young girl
00:07:44.300 and her father
00:07:45.060 weighing in on
00:07:46.500 the ridiculous
00:07:47.240 agenda that
00:07:48.720 these teachers
00:07:49.360 and the
00:07:50.460 administration of
00:07:52.720 said high school
00:07:53.300 Stonewall
00:07:54.800 Collegiate Institute
00:07:55.580 there in
00:07:56.360 Manitoba.
00:07:57.860 Right?
00:07:58.640 Being deemed
00:07:59.460 as a hate
00:08:00.800 speech monger.
00:08:02.260 You know?
00:08:03.700 Condemning the
00:08:04.460 whole poppy
00:08:04.960 fiasco.
00:08:05.780 And they're
00:08:06.080 calling her
00:08:06.560 an advocate for
00:08:07.760 hate speech
00:08:08.280 because she
00:08:08.940 won't play
00:08:09.700 along.
00:08:12.180 Excuse me.
00:08:14.180 It freaks me
00:08:14.980 out folks.
00:08:15.900 You know?
00:08:16.320 It's...
00:08:17.300 You can't just
00:08:17.820 wear a poppy
00:08:18.380 anymore.
00:08:19.300 You've got to
00:08:19.960 stand by some
00:08:20.560 political dogma
00:08:21.340 and stand by
00:08:22.180 some kind of
00:08:23.220 rhetoric bullshit.
00:08:27.200 You know?
00:08:29.240 You've got to
00:08:29.800 stand by
00:08:30.320 some real
00:08:32.640 garbage this
00:08:33.860 day and age
00:08:34.260 to get ahead.
00:08:35.480 And to me
00:08:36.000 that's not
00:08:36.600 fair.
00:08:38.220 That's not
00:08:38.680 fair for the
00:08:39.000 average
00:08:39.180 king.
00:08:39.940 Like I say
00:08:40.520 folks, I don't
00:08:40.960 care if you're
00:08:41.340 gay, straight,
00:08:41.940 bi, whatever
00:08:42.380 you enjoy,
00:08:42.980 whatever rocks
00:08:43.400 your boat,
00:08:43.780 fine.
00:08:44.080 Do it fun and
00:08:45.860 do it well.
00:08:46.500 Do it by the
00:08:47.200 best of your
00:08:47.540 ability.
00:08:48.840 You know?
00:08:50.040 I've had the
00:08:50.600 honor of serving
00:08:51.140 with many
00:08:52.180 people.
00:08:53.640 A few which
00:08:54.240 came out to me
00:08:55.280 personally in
00:08:56.220 regards to their
00:08:56.980 sexuality.
00:08:58.200 And I was
00:08:59.240 honored that
00:08:59.580 they told me.
00:09:01.720 You know?
00:09:02.160 And they're
00:09:03.720 still kicking
00:09:04.140 today.
00:09:05.560 They're good
00:09:06.080 people.
00:09:07.520 You know?
00:09:07.880 No one in the
00:09:08.760 right mind is
00:09:09.180 going to
00:09:09.340 categorize one
00:09:11.020 gay gesture
00:09:11.620 and expect
00:09:13.260 every gay to
00:09:14.700 follow.
00:09:15.720 You know?
00:09:16.540 I've met
00:09:17.040 people that are
00:09:17.640 straight that
00:09:18.320 are real
00:09:18.620 fucking idiots.
00:09:19.880 Does that
00:09:20.280 mean every
00:09:20.600 straight person
00:09:21.200 is a fucking
00:09:21.660 clown?
00:09:22.780 You know?
00:09:23.260 Come on.
00:09:24.240 We're better
00:09:24.700 than that,
00:09:25.000 folks.
00:09:26.980 But carrying
00:09:27.600 on with this
00:09:28.260 remembrance,
00:09:31.040 you know,
00:09:31.600 I like to tell
00:09:33.460 these administrators
00:09:34.080 to, well,
00:09:35.260 first thing
00:09:36.220 that comes to
00:09:36.500 mind is
00:09:36.800 fuck off.
00:09:38.340 And the
00:09:38.740 second thing
00:09:39.060 that comes to
00:09:39.360 mind is go
00:09:39.800 fuck your
00:09:40.160 hat.
00:09:41.260 And the
00:09:41.800 third thing
00:09:42.120 that comes to
00:09:42.520 mind is that
00:09:43.060 if you don't
00:09:43.360 have the
00:09:43.620 fucking balls
00:09:44.240 to serve your
00:09:44.800 nation in
00:09:45.800 that capacity,
00:09:46.720 you really have
00:09:47.380 no right to
00:09:47.920 speak out on
00:09:49.020 who wears what
00:09:49.820 poppy.
00:09:50.840 Now, don't get
00:09:51.060 me wrong.
00:09:52.520 First Nations
00:09:53.240 have a special
00:09:53.860 kind of poppy.
00:09:55.760 Right?
00:09:56.700 Don't get me
00:09:57.180 wrong.
00:09:57.400 There's nothing
00:09:57.680 wrong with that.
00:09:58.880 There's nothing
00:09:59.280 wrong with backing
00:10:00.460 up your heritage
00:10:01.660 with said poppy
00:10:03.000 because a lot of
00:10:03.580 English, a lot of
00:10:04.500 Scottish, a lot of
00:10:05.060 Irish, a lot of
00:10:06.080 Canadians, a lot of
00:10:06.700 Americans, a lot of
00:10:07.880 Australians, a lot of
00:10:08.720 New Zealanders, a lot
00:10:10.000 of members of the
00:10:10.440 British Commonwealth
00:10:11.000 rightfully went to
00:10:13.680 war to fight the
00:10:14.540 German onslaught of
00:10:15.480 that day.
00:10:17.740 And some fought the
00:10:18.780 Turks, some fought
00:10:20.000 the Austrians,
00:10:21.700 others just fought in
00:10:23.860 skirmishes with
00:10:24.540 allies of the
00:10:25.440 central powers.
00:10:28.020 And it was a
00:10:30.420 fucking bloodbath.
00:10:32.340 But it needs to
00:10:33.120 say, those
00:10:35.020 individuals that
00:10:35.800 signed up and did
00:10:37.140 their part.
00:10:39.960 And they didn't
00:10:41.020 know what kind of
00:10:41.600 hell they'd be going
00:10:42.160 through.
00:10:43.980 And I remember
00:10:44.640 visiting Vimy Ridge
00:10:46.000 back in 2000.
00:10:47.960 I was part of the
00:10:48.640 unit that brought
00:10:49.120 home the unknown
00:10:50.280 soldier.
00:10:52.840 And I admit, there
00:10:53.600 were chills went up
00:10:54.160 my spine, seeing
00:10:55.660 that park and seeing
00:10:57.800 the history and
00:10:58.640 feeling the history
00:10:59.720 there.
00:11:01.140 You're still seeing
00:11:01.900 craters in the ground
00:11:02.700 from a war that
00:11:05.260 was, you know,
00:11:06.140 practically 85 years
00:11:08.540 old at the time.
00:11:10.320 You know?
00:11:11.680 And just the
00:11:14.320 history alone was
00:11:15.320 breathtaking,
00:11:16.720 informative.
00:11:17.500 But it's moments
00:11:20.080 like that I reflect
00:11:20.840 on that I remember.
00:11:22.520 I wasn't there in the
00:11:23.380 First World War or
00:11:23.980 the Second World War.
00:11:24.860 But my grandparents
00:11:26.140 were around.
00:11:27.360 God rest their souls.
00:11:28.380 They were around in
00:11:29.100 the Second.
00:11:32.460 And I had a distant
00:11:33.520 uncle that was in
00:11:34.980 Korea.
00:11:37.020 So, I never met
00:11:40.040 the man.
00:11:40.620 He was on my
00:11:41.000 father's side.
00:11:41.960 But apparently he
00:11:44.600 kicked ass and took
00:11:45.260 names.
00:11:46.620 Because he was the
00:11:47.160 kind of guy he was
00:11:47.860 from what I was told.
00:11:49.460 Maybe it was just a
00:11:50.120 story to entertain me
00:11:51.060 as a wee lad.
00:11:52.000 But I reflect on
00:11:53.920 that.
00:11:54.320 And I reflect on my
00:11:55.260 adventures and my
00:11:56.680 situations and the
00:11:58.900 battles I've seen.
00:12:00.760 The time I've raised
00:12:01.820 my rifle in vain and
00:12:02.920 fired a few rounds at
00:12:03.940 the enemy.
00:12:06.020 I'm not exaggerating
00:12:06.960 folks.
00:12:07.400 I actually did fire
00:12:08.180 some rounds at the
00:12:09.540 enemy.
00:12:10.400 And I've seen my
00:12:12.680 share.
00:12:15.180 And what annoys me
00:12:16.000 the most is that when
00:12:16.820 you get these
00:12:17.420 institutions promoting
00:12:19.700 this, you know, do
00:12:21.740 this or else, wear
00:12:23.120 this or else, walk
00:12:24.140 this way or else, or
00:12:24.960 talk this way or else,
00:12:26.380 do you really, really
00:12:27.700 think you're doing
00:12:29.980 something democratic by
00:12:32.040 doing that?
00:12:33.800 Are you really going
00:12:34.560 to honor the
00:12:34.980 veterans who fought
00:12:37.460 against tyranny, who
00:12:38.860 fought against
00:12:39.700 communism, who fought
00:12:40.760 against real fascism?
00:12:42.840 Do you think you're
00:12:43.700 going to honor their
00:12:44.180 memories by doing that
00:12:45.120 kind of shit?
00:12:48.060 If anybody from
00:12:49.260 Stonewall Academy is
00:12:51.620 listening to this
00:12:52.180 podcast, or any
00:12:55.120 administrators or
00:12:56.260 teachers from
00:12:56.860 Stonewall Academy is
00:12:57.860 listening to this
00:12:58.240 podcast, I want to
00:13:00.700 openly challenge you to
00:13:02.100 a fucking debate on
00:13:04.120 Canadian history and
00:13:06.320 what Armistice Day
00:13:07.020 really means.
00:13:09.220 I want to challenge
00:13:10.340 you with facts and
00:13:12.260 figures.
00:13:13.100 I don't fucking care
00:13:14.160 about your feelings.
00:13:15.900 I don't bloody well
00:13:17.020 care how you feel.
00:13:18.680 If you want to wear a
00:13:20.340 multicolored poppy, you
00:13:22.100 go right ahead and do
00:13:23.000 it.
00:13:23.240 But that is not
00:13:27.640 going to replace the
00:13:29.300 red poppy that this
00:13:30.320 country has accustomed
00:13:32.540 to since November
00:13:35.120 11th, 1918.
00:13:41.500 Okay?
00:13:43.800 You're not going to
00:13:44.640 change the narrative.
00:13:46.840 You're not going to
00:13:47.680 change history.
00:13:48.440 And I'm not
00:13:52.200 pointing fingers at
00:13:53.060 anyone's sexual
00:13:53.920 lifestyle.
00:13:54.700 I'm pointing fingers
00:13:55.780 at the individuals that
00:13:57.120 take it upon themselves
00:13:58.080 to try to fuck things
00:13:59.680 up to suit a small
00:14:02.120 narrative.
00:14:04.200 Okay?
00:14:06.080 Like I say, folks, I
00:14:06.880 don't care if you're gay,
00:14:07.960 straight, bi, whatever.
00:14:09.500 I've had the honor of
00:14:10.220 meeting lots of people in
00:14:11.120 my terms of service and
00:14:12.480 in my time of service.
00:14:14.340 And yeah, yeah, a few
00:14:15.800 of them are gay, but it
00:14:17.440 didn't fucking matter.
00:14:18.880 They did their job, and
00:14:20.680 they did it well, and
00:14:22.080 they're good people.
00:14:24.940 And they wore their red
00:14:26.080 poppies proudly, like
00:14:27.380 every other troop.
00:14:29.540 Right?
00:14:30.360 And they stood there and
00:14:31.120 they saluted, just like
00:14:32.300 everybody else.
00:14:33.640 And they stood there and
00:14:34.940 they cried, too, because
00:14:36.120 they remembered.
00:14:37.780 They reflected, just like
00:14:39.440 the rest of us did.
00:14:42.620 But these admins and
00:14:44.240 these politically correct
00:14:45.080 aficionados, you know,
00:14:47.440 trying to prosecute a
00:14:49.020 teenage girl for hate
00:14:50.620 speech, because you find
00:14:53.080 your actions insulting.
00:14:55.800 She wasn't being
00:14:56.560 hateful.
00:14:57.720 She was being truthful.
00:15:01.200 Hmm?
00:15:03.280 She didn't go out of her
00:15:04.400 way in her letter to say
00:15:05.940 anything hateful to the
00:15:07.620 lesbian, gay, bisexual,
00:15:09.280 trans, ABCD community.
00:15:11.460 She was stating a point.
00:15:15.680 She was more or less
00:15:16.500 telling you why try to
00:15:17.420 fix something that ain't
00:15:18.220 broken.
00:15:19.580 Come on, folks.
00:15:22.440 Anyway, tell me what you
00:15:23.260 think.
00:15:23.560 You can reach me at
00:15:24.220 crustybcanuck67 at gmail.com.
00:15:26.720 You can find me on
00:15:27.300 Facebook under
00:15:27.960 Crusty Canuck.
00:15:28.920 You can also find me at
00:15:30.340 IDW, Internet Dark Web,
00:15:32.560 with the handle
00:15:35.780 Crusty Canuck as well.
00:15:37.940 Even here on Podbean,
00:15:39.240 leave me a comment.
00:15:40.060 Or on YouTube.
00:15:41.820 Right?
00:15:43.160 I'm just...
00:15:44.220 You heard me laugh and
00:15:47.300 giggle about the clowns
00:15:48.740 you put in office.
00:15:51.980 But right now, I'm just
00:15:53.280 pissed at the fact that
00:15:54.860 you can't even go to a
00:15:57.420 high school now without
00:15:58.620 political correctness
00:15:59.700 flogging people's ideas
00:16:02.880 and shutting people down.
00:16:06.120 Right?
00:16:07.540 Hmm?
00:16:10.140 Come on, folks.
00:16:11.420 We're better than that.
00:16:12.720 I'd say stand behind that
00:16:13.760 teenage girl for staying
00:16:14.620 with what's right.
00:16:16.380 You know?
00:16:16.820 Like, I'll leave the
00:16:17.800 links to the footage there
00:16:19.340 that Rebel Media put
00:16:20.100 together.
00:16:21.200 And you can judge for
00:16:22.040 yourself.
00:16:22.820 It just doesn't seem...
00:16:24.760 It's like we're going
00:16:25.680 backwards in time here.
00:16:26.760 It's like fucking 1984.
00:16:29.340 As a veteran, I remember
00:16:30.680 the things I've seen
00:16:32.040 and the things I've done.
00:16:33.000 I remember what my
00:16:33.800 captain did and what he
00:16:35.680 said.
00:16:36.020 I remember what my
00:16:36.720 warrant officers said
00:16:37.860 and did.
00:16:38.980 During this situation and
00:16:40.140 that situation, I remember
00:16:41.080 basic training.
00:16:42.320 I remember some of my
00:16:43.000 instructors and their
00:16:43.820 infinite wisdom telling
00:16:44.740 me how to do things
00:16:45.700 right.
00:16:46.800 Correct me when I was
00:16:47.680 wrong.
00:16:48.100 I remember my
00:16:48.680 grandparents talking
00:16:50.080 about Europe back at
00:16:51.460 this time, in this day,
00:16:53.500 in that age.
00:16:54.920 And I remember lots of
00:16:57.040 veterans I knew when I
00:16:57.900 was a cadet.
00:16:58.620 who told us a few
00:17:00.160 stories about flying and
00:17:01.620 about what they saw in
00:17:03.240 Germany.
00:17:05.200 And history class teaching
00:17:06.760 us things.
00:17:08.680 Right?
00:17:09.200 And yes, I am positive
00:17:13.580 there were homosexuals
00:17:14.660 that served in both
00:17:16.220 world wars, even
00:17:17.880 though at the time it
00:17:18.800 was illegal.
00:17:19.660 But that's irrelevant.
00:17:22.680 That's irrelevant.
00:17:25.380 More or less, folks,
00:17:26.220 leave the poppy alone.
00:17:28.260 You know, if you want to
00:17:29.460 wear the multicolored
00:17:30.160 poppy, I'm saying,
00:17:30.960 okay, go right ahead.
00:17:31.780 I'm not going to tell you
00:17:32.580 what to wear.
00:17:33.180 But do not turn this
00:17:36.180 day into a fucking
00:17:39.080 sideshow.
00:17:42.300 Respect it.
00:17:44.240 Okay?
00:17:46.920 Regardless of how you
00:17:47.880 feel, regardless of what
00:17:48.780 your religious background
00:17:49.680 is, or how you feel
00:17:51.020 about politics or war,
00:17:52.320 or the red poppy itself,
00:17:54.300 leave it alone.
00:17:56.760 Leave it alone.
00:17:57.600 Okay?
00:18:00.880 One day, veterans ask
00:18:02.340 for.
00:18:03.640 And technically speaking,
00:18:04.420 it's not really one day.
00:18:05.480 It's about two minutes
00:18:06.420 of your life at 11 a.m.
00:18:09.160 to sit and be silent
00:18:11.180 and reflect on the
00:18:13.600 powers and the
00:18:14.400 privileges and the
00:18:15.940 rights that everybody
00:18:17.200 has in this country.
00:18:20.940 It was because of the
00:18:22.580 First World War.
00:18:23.520 It was because of the
00:18:24.620 Second World War.
00:18:25.400 It was because of Korea.
00:18:26.380 It was because of the
00:18:27.660 Peacekeepers.
00:18:28.720 It was inadvertently
00:18:29.900 because of people that
00:18:30.880 went and fought in
00:18:31.560 Vietnam and with the
00:18:32.940 60s upheaval of the
00:18:34.160 social injustices, as
00:18:36.280 well as people waking
00:18:37.020 up in the 70s to get
00:18:38.600 things done.
00:18:41.280 And in the 80s.
00:18:44.960 In the 90s.
00:18:46.220 In the early 2000s.
00:18:47.460 And here.
00:18:51.060 Who cares if you sleep
00:18:52.380 with this person?
00:18:53.140 It doesn't fucking
00:18:53.880 matter.
00:18:54.280 Wear your poppy with
00:18:56.240 pride if you want to.
00:18:57.460 You don't have to wear
00:18:58.320 it.
00:18:59.040 But don't dress shit up
00:19:00.280 because it's politically
00:19:01.200 correct.
00:19:03.680 It's that bullshit that's
00:19:04.960 getting us to trouble to
00:19:05.760 begin with.
00:19:07.300 Huh?
00:19:08.760 And this isn't hate
00:19:09.760 speech, ladies and
00:19:10.480 gentlemen.
00:19:11.400 This is common sense.
00:19:12.800 Hello?
00:19:14.220 Hello?
00:19:15.480 Common sense.
00:19:17.200 Right?
00:19:17.600 Right?
00:19:17.680 I've met lots of
00:19:21.660 people who have said
00:19:22.660 some nasty things on my
00:19:23.720 profile page saying,
00:19:24.720 oh, you're a warmonger.
00:19:25.800 Oh, you killed brown
00:19:26.740 people.
00:19:27.660 Oh, you never fought for
00:19:28.960 my freedom.
00:19:30.420 Well, I guess I didn't
00:19:31.400 personally fight for your
00:19:32.400 personal freedom.
00:19:33.400 But there are a lot of
00:19:34.240 people before me and you
00:19:35.500 who did.
00:19:37.180 You dumb fuck.
00:19:39.420 Right?
00:19:39.640 To my listeners out
00:19:45.060 there, let Convention of
00:19:46.920 Wisdom rule the day.
00:19:50.180 Spend two minutes on
00:19:53.360 Monday remembering.
00:19:55.420 11 o'clock, wherever you
00:19:56.480 are.
00:19:57.600 Whether you're at a town
00:19:58.980 cenotaph, whether you're at
00:19:59.960 Legion, or even at work.
00:20:02.560 You know, if you have to
00:20:03.280 work.
00:20:04.480 Spend two minutes and think
00:20:07.880 about it.
00:20:09.640 Right?
00:20:11.260 It just infuriates me.
00:20:13.240 This whole political
00:20:14.100 correct BS again.
00:20:16.280 And regardless if it's
00:20:17.300 just one school, how do
00:20:18.860 we know what hasn't
00:20:19.440 happened at other
00:20:20.000 schools?
00:20:21.260 Right?
00:20:22.660 How do we know what
00:20:23.400 hasn't happened at some
00:20:24.440 other institution where
00:20:25.860 some principal or some
00:20:26.900 senior teacher says,
00:20:28.060 okay, well, we're not
00:20:28.760 going to play this because
00:20:29.720 it's too offensive or it's
00:20:31.560 too long.
00:20:32.240 Okay, we're not going to
00:20:33.020 play this part of the
00:20:33.760 ceremony because it might
00:20:34.780 promote this or it might
00:20:35.640 promote that.
00:20:36.580 We're not going to say
00:20:37.540 this because we're not
00:20:38.760 going to ask these
00:20:39.240 questions.
00:20:39.640 Because, okay, to all
00:20:42.820 these hush-hush monkeys
00:20:44.120 that want to keep
00:20:45.240 everything quiet and
00:20:46.180 keep everything safe, I
00:20:49.340 got one thing to say to
00:20:50.360 you.
00:20:52.040 Fuck off.
00:20:57.200 Okay?
00:21:00.140 Really.
00:21:01.680 To all the people that
00:21:02.640 back up poppies, that
00:21:04.140 back up our troops, that
00:21:05.140 back up our veterans, that
00:21:06.120 back up people that have
00:21:07.020 sacrificed the ultimate
00:21:08.740 sacrifice for this country.
00:21:12.500 Thank you.
00:21:17.200 Keep showing your support.
00:21:20.240 To my fans and listeners
00:21:21.380 out there, thank you once
00:21:22.200 again, too.
00:21:22.800 I've been seeing lately, my
00:21:24.600 subscribers have gone up
00:21:25.820 drastically on YouTube.
00:21:27.500 Wow, thank you very much.
00:21:30.140 It makes me very happy.
00:21:31.880 Please, keep subscribing.
00:21:33.280 Keep the comments going.
00:21:35.420 All right.
00:21:36.620 I've already written a check
00:21:37.700 to Veterans Association
00:21:39.080 Food Bank because of some
00:21:40.900 healthy contributions I have
00:21:42.160 received from total
00:21:42.820 strangers.
00:21:43.720 Thank you to all those
00:21:44.540 people who have helped me.
00:21:45.980 I managed to raise $200,
00:21:47.880 which is a start.
00:21:48.920 $200 will go to the Veterans
00:21:51.240 Association Food Bank within
00:21:52.180 the next week.
00:21:53.860 I'll be contacting them
00:21:55.080 again just to verify, and
00:21:56.880 it'll be good.
00:21:58.180 But my offer still goes on.
00:21:59.800 If you like what you see
00:22:00.740 in here, please feel free to
00:22:02.000 comment, like, and subscribe,
00:22:03.520 either here on the Podbean or
00:22:05.160 on YouTube.
00:22:06.200 And if you feel like
00:22:07.080 contributing $5 or $10
00:22:08.480 every month, please do.
00:22:12.340 Offer still stands.
00:22:13.600 If you do contribute $5 to $10
00:22:15.260 committed a month, I will mail
00:22:17.980 you a t-shirt of your choice
00:22:19.320 for my teespring line.
00:22:21.220 All right.
00:22:21.440 So let me know which kind
00:22:22.500 of shirt you like once you
00:22:23.440 make that committed
00:22:24.240 donations, and we'll go from
00:22:26.100 there.
00:22:26.500 And if you don't want to get
00:22:28.140 a t-shirt, you can donate
00:22:29.260 all the same, or you can
00:22:30.600 just buy a shirt if you
00:22:31.960 like.
00:22:32.840 30% of every donation and
00:22:36.160 every sale will go to the
00:22:38.220 Veterans Association Food
00:22:39.000 Bank.
00:22:39.300 That offer still stands.
00:22:40.860 So that's, you know, that's
00:22:43.720 one of my charities.
00:22:44.720 That's what I believe in
00:22:45.580 doing, helping other vets out
00:22:46.820 in time of need.
00:22:47.460 And Veterans Association
00:22:48.300 Food Bank does wonderful
00:22:49.280 things, folks.
00:22:50.580 They help vets in need by
00:22:52.180 making sure they get proper
00:22:54.300 food.
00:22:54.960 They assist vets in finding
00:22:56.100 work, meaningful work.
00:22:58.620 They also help less fortunate
00:22:59.640 veterans out there with making
00:23:00.800 ramps and sedgeways for their
00:23:03.940 wheelchairs and such.
00:23:05.020 And they help disabled vets
00:23:06.060 out too.
00:23:07.100 So Veterans Association
00:23:08.220 Food Bank, I will leave a
00:23:09.480 link at the bottom of this
00:23:10.320 page so you can donate
00:23:11.620 yourself.
00:23:12.160 If you give $25 to them
00:23:13.840 directly, they will give you a
00:23:15.380 tax receipt upon tax time.
00:23:18.320 Therefore, if you do feel
00:23:19.460 like filing your taxes, you
00:23:21.820 can back it up with that good
00:23:22.980 receipt because you've been
00:23:23.900 to a great cause.
00:23:25.860 Anyhow, back to remembrance
00:23:27.260 and appreciation.
00:23:29.120 I'm very, very fortunate to live
00:23:30.280 in a country like Canada.
00:23:32.820 Regardless of the history,
00:23:34.800 there's so many, many good
00:23:35.640 things that this country has
00:23:36.920 done too.
00:23:37.380 So, and this country has
00:23:41.060 offered the world not just a
00:23:43.020 safe haven for those who are
00:23:44.140 really, really persecuted and
00:23:45.960 who are really, really
00:23:46.700 oppressed, but it's given
00:23:49.220 insight, it's given freedom to
00:23:50.400 a lot.
00:23:52.200 And freedom of choice, freedom
00:23:53.740 of choose, freedom of
00:23:54.540 expression, right?
00:23:56.880 Freedom of speech, ladies and
00:23:58.860 gentlemen.
00:23:59.900 And I can just hear the SJWs
00:24:02.040 cringing right now.
00:24:03.260 Oh, but hate speech isn't free.
00:24:05.980 Then what's deemed as hate
00:24:06.900 speech?
00:24:09.020 Hmm?
00:24:10.820 What is deemed as hate speech
00:24:12.180 because you don't agree with a
00:24:13.320 certain dogma, right?
00:24:16.320 Is it hate speech for a young
00:24:18.060 couple to take their kids out of
00:24:19.300 sex ed training when their kids
00:24:22.420 are only eight years old?
00:24:23.420 Is that hate speech?
00:24:25.040 Hmm?
00:24:26.640 Is it hate speech to sit up and
00:24:28.080 actually tell a homosexual,
00:24:29.960 stop politicizing your lifestyle?
00:24:31.860 You don't deserve special
00:24:32.980 treatment because you're gay?
00:24:34.060 Is that hate speech?
00:24:36.620 I don't deserve special
00:24:38.040 treatment because I'm straight.
00:24:39.580 I don't deserve special
00:24:41.000 treatment because I'm married.
00:24:43.240 I don't deserve special
00:24:44.680 treatment because I'm a
00:24:45.460 veteran either.
00:24:47.600 That I acknowledge.
00:24:49.780 Right?
00:24:50.840 And that's not acknowledging my
00:24:52.320 privilege.
00:24:52.920 That's being fucking realistic.
00:24:56.660 Hmm?
00:24:58.860 Think about that.
00:24:59.920 I don't know.
00:25:03.000 It's a touchy subject when you
00:25:03.840 want to fuck with a poppy for
00:25:04.980 the sake of political agenda.
00:25:06.240 It's not for the sake of being
00:25:07.040 an inclusive.
00:25:08.300 Don't give me this inclusion
00:25:09.380 dilemma.
00:25:11.240 Right?
00:25:11.560 I don't buy it.
00:25:15.280 I don't.
00:25:16.120 So just leave it alone.
00:25:17.760 Like the story goes, folks, if it
00:25:19.200 ain't broke, don't fix it.
00:25:21.560 Leave it alone.
00:25:23.060 Right?
00:25:24.600 I got an interesting email the
00:25:25.680 other day from a Christian.
00:25:30.220 He self-expressed his respect for
00:25:34.620 God and his love for God and Jesus
00:25:36.100 and all that.
00:25:36.620 And he was giving me this whole
00:25:38.560 spiel and basing the email that
00:25:40.460 said, you know, Krusty, I
00:25:42.720 listened to your show a couple
00:25:44.280 times and I think you need more
00:25:46.500 God in your life.
00:25:47.620 Now, don't get me wrong.
00:25:50.300 He's probably heard some of my
00:25:51.540 angry stories and some of my
00:25:53.100 criticisms and he's probably
00:25:55.120 generally concerned for my mental
00:25:56.560 welfare.
00:25:58.360 Well, to the Christian man out
00:25:59.520 there listening, I'm not going to
00:26:01.000 mention your name, you know,
00:26:02.700 because I know how many Christians
00:26:04.240 are getting criticized to this
00:26:05.740 day and age.
00:26:06.620 But I appreciate your concern,
00:26:08.560 sir.
00:26:08.780 Thank you very much.
00:26:10.660 You know, your blessings and your
00:26:13.220 good tidings are fantastic.
00:26:14.800 It's well appreciated.
00:26:16.240 But, sir, I'm not religious.
00:26:18.640 And I have many, many reasons why
00:26:21.620 I'm not religious.
00:26:24.200 And I just appreciate what you've
00:26:26.900 done, but sorry, it's not my
00:26:28.740 forte.
00:26:29.800 But thank you all the same.
00:26:31.360 Thank you for the kind words of
00:26:32.420 wisdom and the guidance you've
00:26:33.700 tried to provide.
00:26:34.980 It's appreciated.
00:26:36.200 And, but I have my own light,
00:26:37.540 sir.
00:26:38.620 But my point being, that man
00:26:42.280 reached out to talk to me.
00:26:44.780 Right?
00:26:46.120 Two people, two different
00:26:47.260 lifestyles.
00:26:48.820 Right?
00:26:50.640 You see what I'm saying?
00:26:51.380 You see the dynamic here?
00:26:52.220 I never asked him if he was
00:26:55.260 married.
00:26:55.560 I never asked him if he was
00:26:56.340 gay.
00:26:56.880 I didn't really care.
00:26:59.120 But he gave me this wonderful
00:27:00.540 little lecture, gave me some
00:27:02.220 scripture to read.
00:27:03.760 Great.
00:27:04.120 I don't agree with it.
00:27:08.200 But I didn't condemn him for it.
00:27:11.960 And I didn't promote anything
00:27:14.080 hateful to him.
00:27:15.800 And I didn't say anything stupid
00:27:17.160 to him.
00:27:18.700 You see what I'm saying?
00:27:20.560 All right.
00:27:22.140 Now I'll leave a link to what this
00:27:24.320 young lady said when she promoted
00:27:27.200 over this high school there.
00:27:28.300 But I'll also leave a link to the
00:27:29.620 story.
00:27:31.200 And I'll let you decide for
00:27:32.520 yourself.
00:27:34.420 All right.
00:27:34.860 I'll let you decide, ladies and
00:27:35.900 gentlemen.
00:27:36.740 Because I look at Remembrance Day
00:27:38.740 as a holy day.
00:27:39.800 Even though, as I said, I'm not
00:27:40.680 religious.
00:27:41.300 But it is a day of remembrance and
00:27:43.460 to respect and to keep politics
00:27:45.280 out of it.
00:27:47.040 You know, I don't care if you
00:27:47.860 voted liberal.
00:27:48.480 I don't care if you voted
00:27:48.980 conservative, NDP, fucking green,
00:27:51.800 PPC, libertarian, rhinoceros, one,
00:27:55.620 two, buck on my shoe party.
00:27:58.900 Monday is a day of remembrance and
00:28:01.240 respect.
00:28:02.740 Sit around with your friends.
00:28:03.640 Have a few drinks.
00:28:04.480 Appreciate.
00:28:06.440 Because war is hell, folks.
00:28:09.340 Regardless of how you sum it up.
00:28:11.800 And my experiences do not compare
00:28:13.400 to the experiences of the fallen
00:28:14.860 of before me.
00:28:16.540 Where they were saturated in Europe
00:28:18.180 under heavy fire for years at a
00:28:20.720 time.
00:28:23.380 When we had six months.
00:28:26.500 Right.
00:28:26.600 But nonetheless, you hear the
00:28:30.060 crack and boom of enemy fire.
00:28:32.700 You hear the thwap and the whaps.
00:28:35.680 And you see the tracer rounds going
00:28:37.660 overhead.
00:28:39.800 You know you're in shit.
00:28:44.420 I don't want to see that kind of
00:28:45.620 shit here.
00:28:47.100 So that's why I'm so passionate about
00:28:49.140 the poppy.
00:28:49.740 And that's why I want my fellow
00:28:51.040 Canadians of all shapes and sizes.
00:28:53.840 Not one certain degree of them.
00:28:56.620 All Canadians.
00:28:57.840 And I include all Canadians.
00:28:59.540 Gay, straight, bi, tri, MGTOW,
00:29:03.380 LadyTOW, whatever fucking
00:29:05.200 abbreviation you come up with.
00:29:07.340 All Canadians.
00:29:09.140 The poppy is inclusive.
00:29:10.300 It includes everybody that fought and
00:29:14.120 died and served.
00:29:15.900 Our national anthem is inclusive.
00:29:18.080 We stand on guard for thee.
00:29:23.620 How more inclusive do you need to be?
00:29:27.920 Right.
00:29:30.400 Honestly.
00:29:31.300 How more inclusive do you need to be?
00:29:36.460 I don't know how many times I got to
00:29:37.540 say it.
00:29:38.600 But.
00:29:38.840 I'm really starting to get fed up with
00:29:41.400 these these politically correct types
00:29:42.920 who want to change everything and
00:29:44.420 and then the first one is to point
00:29:45.980 the finger over hate speech.
00:29:48.140 You know.
00:29:48.700 Don't sit there and promote
00:29:49.560 inclusivity when you're willing to
00:29:51.960 segregate people because of an idea.
00:29:55.000 Kind of an oxymoron.
00:29:56.020 Kind of a contradiction.
00:29:56.960 And it's fucking hypocritical.
00:29:59.160 So my hat's off that young lady in
00:30:00.820 Manitoba.
00:30:01.400 Well done ma'am.
00:30:02.660 And her father for raising a
00:30:04.860 brilliant young girl.
00:30:06.300 And her friends that have backed
00:30:07.500 her up.
00:30:08.140 And to the students there at
00:30:09.360 Stonewall Academy.
00:30:10.400 If any of you are listening to us
00:30:11.640 right now.
00:30:12.320 Cheers.
00:30:13.060 Stand your ground.
00:30:14.440 Be real.
00:30:15.860 Right.
00:30:17.700 No such thing as hate speech folks
00:30:19.220 unless you actually stand and you
00:30:20.600 look at somebody and say I hate
00:30:22.080 you.
00:30:23.060 Then you can you know call it what
00:30:24.560 you want.
00:30:25.640 I hate taxes.
00:30:27.000 I hate stubbing my toes in my
00:30:28.180 Chesterfield.
00:30:28.720 I hate cold coffee.
00:30:30.040 I hate cold pizza.
00:30:31.820 Yeah.
00:30:32.040 I hate standing in an elevator and
00:30:33.240 someone farts.
00:30:34.780 Well.
00:30:34.920 Does that hate speech if I
00:30:36.140 express that.
00:30:37.620 No.
00:30:38.760 Time to smarten up folks.
00:30:40.040 Start standing up for what's
00:30:40.820 right and what's real.
00:30:43.240 Anyhow.
00:30:43.780 I'll be leaving this podcast with
00:30:45.580 a few reminders.
00:30:48.100 And.
00:30:49.300 Hope yous all take care of
00:30:50.360 yourselves.
00:30:51.820 Look out for each other.
00:30:52.860 And something to think about
00:30:53.420 this weekend.
00:30:54.080 And especially come Monday.
00:30:56.300 Give yourself two minutes to
00:30:57.400 think about those fallen guys.
00:31:00.380 Because in 2014 I could have
00:31:01.800 been the fallen.
00:31:02.180 And I was pretty close to
00:31:04.800 blowing my brains out folks.
00:31:07.300 And if I wasn't going to do
00:31:08.200 that I was going to hang
00:31:08.920 myself.
00:31:09.440 And if I wasn't going to do
00:31:10.000 that there was a bunch of
00:31:11.640 pills I was eyeing up to
00:31:13.620 swallow.
00:31:15.000 So yeah I have my demons too.
00:31:19.200 And I don't mind talking about
00:31:20.420 it now.
00:31:21.240 I don't mind sharing that with
00:31:22.200 you.
00:31:22.320 So when people start
00:31:25.420 complaining about how
00:31:26.440 multicolored a poppy is or
00:31:28.700 isn't.
00:31:30.300 Put that in perspective.
00:31:31.800 Wear the red one proudly.
00:31:33.460 Because as far as I'm
00:31:34.280 concerned it is inclusive.
00:31:36.320 It's included every man,
00:31:37.860 woman, and young man and
00:31:39.580 woman.
00:31:41.060 That has served this country
00:31:42.520 proudly.
00:31:45.160 Right.
00:31:45.740 And I'm not going to be
00:31:46.440 ashamed of saying I'm a
00:31:47.580 veteran.
00:31:48.120 I'm not going to be ashamed of
00:31:49.440 saying I'm a Canadian.
00:31:50.120 And I'm not going to be
00:31:51.480 fucking ashamed for waving
00:31:52.580 my flag either.
00:31:54.980 So ladies and gentlemen
00:31:56.260 without further ado I'll
00:31:57.200 leave this podcast with a
00:31:59.000 last post and a poem for
00:32:02.360 one of my favorite
00:32:03.000 composers or performers.
00:32:05.380 So I've been Krusty Canuck.
00:32:08.460 And take care of
00:32:09.560 yourselves.
00:32:10.240 And remember humanity
00:32:11.120 merit wins the day.
00:32:14.600 Bye for now.
00:32:20.120 Bye for now.
00:32:50.120 Bye for now.
00:33:20.120 Bye for now.
