The Crusty Canuck Podcast - The Burning...Part 2

00:00:00.740 Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, or good evening.

00:00:03.660 It is a beautiful June 29th, 2020, episode 137 of the Crusty Knight podcast, The Burning

00:00:11.300 Part 2, Catherine McKenna's excellent departure in Canadian politics and other political dogmas

00:00:17.180 coming up right here in the podcast.

00:00:19.560 Stick around.

00:00:24.840 Hit it, sweetheart. 1.00

00:00:27.040 Because I am hard, you will not like me.

00:00:30.000 There is no racial bigotry here.

00:00:38.360 There you are all is what we work with.

00:00:42.320 From Western Canada, this is the Crusty Canuck podcast, a Canadian veteran's point of view

00:00:49.100 on political, social, economic issues, and life.

00:00:53.260 Here's Crusty.

00:00:56.660 Mama said I was at a vice for radio.

00:01:00.000 Well, excuse me, ladies and gentlemen, too much cigarettes.

00:01:04.240 Yes, welcome to episode 137 of the Crusty Knight podcast.

00:01:07.040 I'm your host, Crusty Canuck.

00:01:08.780 And yes, I call this The Burning Part 2.

00:01:11.820 Why?

00:01:12.560 Well, let me see.

00:01:14.440 Last episode, we had a lot of issues when it came to understanding what's going on with the

00:01:18.880 First Nations, our money, political structure, C10, C36, and all the other good stuff, and

00:01:24.660 other political jumble farts.

00:01:26.940 They're calling us shots every day.

00:01:28.560 Now, The Burning Part 2 is just a continuation of that.

00:01:31.700 Because I've had some emails recently.

00:01:33.540 I've had some people weigh in on my profile on Facebook and other means, more or less doing

00:01:38.300 the finger wagging and pointing fingers at me and all this good stuff, and I'll get

00:01:41.460 to that later.

00:01:42.440 But also, now in recent news, Ms. Catherine McKenna is now leaving politics as we speak.

00:01:48.100 She's not seeking re-election.

00:01:50.080 She is focusing more time on her family and all that good stuff.

00:01:53.080 Because, you know, she's married and has kids. 1.00

00:01:55.280 And she's quite the successful human being when it comes to politics and her education. 1.00

00:01:59.540 And okay, you know, whatever.

00:02:00.600 I'm not dissing her qualifications as in what she was trained in, but as a Canadian taxpayer,

00:02:06.820 as a veteran, and as someone who likes to be a realist, we all know, ladies and gentlemen, 1.00

00:02:10.980 that she was full of shit. 1.00

00:02:12.340 Right from the time that she was appointed as the Environment Minister to her appointment 1.00

00:02:16.860 as Infrastructure Minister and now ever so conveniently leaving politics, not seeking re-election.

00:02:23.040 Now, we all know the term that she was called Climate Barbie, Barbie the Builder, how much she 1.00

00:02:28.400 didn't like being called Barbie and Barbie the Builder, and how sexist and misogynist

00:02:33.160 it was because of all the comments people gave her, and the lackluster oppression that

00:02:37.640 she had to face as a female politician in today's society and in Canada. 1.00

00:02:42.840 Well, I got news for you.

00:02:45.440 You're not oppressed.

00:02:47.780 Okay?

00:02:48.840 You got a pretty good job, a pretty good paycheck, and the power to do things.

00:02:53.600 Now, you've also been quoted saying that oil workers tend to be a little bit dangerous.

00:03:02.600 You also said Alberta oil was filthy and disgusting, right?

00:03:07.400 And you did your part to try to get rid of it.

00:03:11.180 And you're a firm believer in the carbon tax.

00:03:13.820 So, you're an individual that believes in more taxation without representation.

00:03:17.580 You didn't take responsibility for the decisions you made and the comments you made in regards

00:03:22.380 to the oil workers out here in the province.

00:03:24.900 Okay?

00:03:25.460 And you're the first one to sit there and scream sexism and misogyny when someone questioned

00:03:29.620 your integrity or your credibility.

00:03:31.880 Now, I agree with the fact that it's not right for someone to spray paint a dirty name on anyone's

00:03:36.600 office.

00:03:37.440 It doesn't matter if you use the D word, the C word, B word, T word, whatever word comes

00:03:41.180 to mind.

00:03:42.160 Okay?

00:03:42.520 But to sit there and call people sexist and misogynist because of it, how do you know

00:03:48.560 it was a dude that did it to begin with?

00:03:51.180 Okay?

00:03:51.580 How do you know that it was a man that said, see you next Tuesday on your office when you

00:03:57.020 were reelected this past October 2019?

00:04:00.880 Okay?

00:04:01.340 How do you know?

00:04:02.980 How do you know?

00:04:04.360 You don't.

00:04:06.440 Okay?

00:04:06.940 Now, if you guys hear some background noise in the background, I got a fan going in here

00:04:09.840 because there's a real scorcher here in beautiful Alberta.

00:04:13.120 It's about 35 Celsius, you know, and that's hot for us.

00:04:18.460 That's hot for us Canucks.

00:04:19.640 I don't know about you lot down in Arizona and in California, but that's pretty hot, nasty

00:04:24.560 weather for us Canucks up here.

00:04:26.320 Needless to say, hydrate as best you can, folks.

00:04:29.400 Water your plants just briefly.

00:04:31.280 Don't water them too hard because the heat and the evaporation will burn the leaves.

00:04:36.840 But just keep that in mind.

00:04:37.860 But anyway, as I was saying, before I digress even further, Ms. McKenna is leaving politics.

00:04:43.940 Okay.

00:04:44.640 I would say good riddance because I found her platform and I found her stand on things very,

00:04:50.620 very disturbing.

00:04:52.040 We've all seen the video, the footage that she had when she was with the cast of This Hour

00:04:56.380 is 22 Minutes, saying one of the things she learned in Parliament is that when you stomp

00:05:01.080 and scream loud enough, people will believe you.

00:05:03.160 Okay.

00:05:03.400 Well, she obviously didn't learn any principles of leadership and she didn't learn any kind 0.87

00:05:07.660 of etiquette when it comes to representing her people.

00:05:10.640 Now, I guess her riding is Ottawa Centre.

00:05:12.860 So, of course, they're all part of that big triangle, the Laurentian Triangle, you know,

00:05:15.880 Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, looking after people in that area.

00:05:20.440 Business interests and investors alike, elitist in that area, of course.

00:05:24.020 And I personally don't care what her background is or what her education is.

00:05:29.440 I just found her very disingenuous and very dishonest because there's also the sound of 0.97

00:05:33.520 about $35 billion that were set aside for infrastructure projects that never fucking happened. 0.97

00:05:41.580 Right. 0.94

00:05:42.340 So, in a way, I guess she played us very, very well.

00:05:44.760 She's not seeking re-election because she wants to focus on her family.

00:05:48.020 So, therefore, if they do call an election in August, okay, and get everything all ready

00:05:53.140 to go for the liberal brand and the NDP brand and the conservative brand, you know, she doesn't

00:05:57.940 have to attest or justify anything at all.

00:06:03.020 How convenient, right?

00:06:05.900 How convenient.

00:06:07.080 Now, according to Rebel Media and Black Locks reporters, now, Black Locks is a paid subscription.

00:06:11.840 You got to pay to get into it.

00:06:12.780 But Rebel has an account with them, and I look at some of the Rebel doctrines, and they base

00:06:18.180 a lot of their stories on their own information and what they get from Black Locks, too.

00:06:21.880 And I actually had a conversation with a gentleman from Black Locks in regards to getting a

00:06:26.620 subscription and all that.

00:06:27.680 And they're a pretty informative bunch of individuals.

00:06:30.640 So, you can believe what you want, but according to the Infrastructure Bank that was put together

00:06:35.480 in 2017, $35 billion Canadian was not accounted for.

00:06:40.900 Well, it was accounted for, but there were no projects built with that $35 million.

00:06:45.560 So, where'd it go?

00:06:48.100 My best guess, it went to China or other interests, you know, because there were roads and operations

00:06:52.940 that were made in China from Canadian dollars.

00:06:56.040 There were roads and opportunities built in Syria for Canadian dollars.

00:07:00.480 But what was built here?

00:07:03.380 Were there shipyards built here?

00:07:05.000 Were there water sewage plants built here?

00:07:06.860 No, no, no, because the Liberals and everybody else that's backing them up said it was okay

00:07:12.480 to dump more raw sewage into the waterways.

00:07:15.140 Now, I've had a couple of people weigh in and tell me, well, where else they're going to

00:07:18.640 put it?

00:07:20.260 Well, do you put your own raw sewage in your waterway?

00:07:24.920 Now, we have plants for that.

00:07:26.460 We have, you know, operations that look after that.

00:07:29.300 And as far as I know, there's formulas out there that can turn our raw sewage into fuel.

00:07:34.660 Oh, what a novel idea.

00:07:38.040 So, there's one for the environment right there, too.

00:07:41.000 So, when people make such a big stink about Miss McKenna leaving politics, and what a wonderful 0.99

00:07:45.620 job she did, right?

00:07:47.740 There's a tweet there that Patty Haydu put out, and I'll put it up there later in the show.

00:07:51.500 But, I know, I'll let you, my fans and listeners and watchers alike, decide for yourselves exactly

00:08:01.840 what the issue is.

00:08:05.000 I just, I'm just shaking my head because everything I have read and what I've seen on the mainstream

00:08:10.980 media in regards to her leaving politics, and make it sound like she, you know, turned

00:08:15.440 water into wine or something.

00:08:16.800 And she sits there and says, I believe girls can do anything they want to do and encourage 0.99

00:08:21.300 more women to get into politics. 1.00

00:08:22.920 And rightfully so.

00:08:23.840 I encourage all people of all colors and creeds, genders, gender spectrums, and parts thereof,

00:08:30.780 to pursue a political career if they want to.

00:08:33.600 Okay?

00:08:34.100 And she was also one of the first females that were elected in 2015 to constantly pull the 1.00

00:08:39.660 sexism card, to constantly pull the oppression card, and how dare you say this, and how dare

00:08:44.180 you say that. 1.00

00:08:44.780 And yet still, never took responsibility for the shit she did or said. 1.00

00:09:02.940 And furthermore, okay, if someone was going to spray paint anything dirty on my door, one, 0.99

00:09:16.240 someone didn't like me, or two, I might have done something really, really effing stupid 0.99

00:09:20.960 to deserve that. 1.00

00:09:22.880 Okay?

00:09:23.160 Now, it's wrong to call people by names, dirty names.

00:09:27.920 Okay, I get it.

00:09:28.700 We were all told this when we were children.

00:09:30.720 Okay?

00:09:31.040 But if you're in the public eye, and you're given a responsibility to look after a lot

00:09:36.520 of money, and you're given a responsibility to build things, to do things, that's supposed

00:09:40.720 to promote the betterment of the Canadian citizen, and you don't do it, what do you

00:09:46.680 expect to be told?

00:09:47.940 What do you expect to hear, you know?

00:09:56.960 Do you expect some kind of parade?

00:09:59.180 Do you expect some kind of, here's a ribbon, here's a trophy for your efforts?

00:10:03.820 Oh, you're a woman, therefore, that's okay, no problem.

00:10:07.820 No, of course not.

00:10:08.800 You've got to be accountable, right?

00:10:12.140 You are accountable for your actions.

00:10:14.240 It doesn't matter what title you hold.

00:10:15.940 It doesn't matter if you're a professor.

00:10:16.940 It doesn't matter if you're a doctor or a lawyer.

00:10:19.420 It doesn't matter if you're a shop foreman or a person.

00:10:22.720 No, people kind.

00:10:23.860 It doesn't matter.

00:10:25.680 Okay?

00:10:26.140 If you're given the responsibility to do something, and you're handed $10,000 to do it, you've

00:10:31.440 got to do it.

00:10:32.260 If you're in charge of running a business, you've got to do it.

00:10:34.740 If you're in charge of looking after the welfare of five-year co-workers, or 10 co-workers,

00:10:39.220 or 10 people under you, or 10,000 people under you, you are responsible.

00:10:45.680 Okay?

00:10:45.860 Okay?

00:10:46.940 So, regardless of how many slaps and tickles you had behind, or how many arrangements you

00:10:51.320 made, you know, on set, or on camera, or off camera, it doesn't matter.

00:10:57.000 You're still responsible.

00:10:58.620 So, it's no big loss that you're stepping down, Ms. McKenna.

00:11:01.560 I could care less.

00:11:02.720 And I think the majority of Western Canadians can care less, too.

00:11:05.880 Because you lied about the environment. 0.51

00:11:09.560 You categorized oil workers as aggressive rapists.

00:11:13.680 Okay?

00:11:14.820 You sit there and you say you're talking about the welfare of women in this country, yet

00:11:18.540 you never stood up for the women that are struggling to get ahead.

00:11:21.620 You don't stand up for widows.

00:11:25.460 Did you stand up for the women that lost their husbands in Afghanistan?

00:11:29.680 How about those women? 1.00

00:11:31.980 How about the women that had to go through hoop after hoop after hoop of red tape when they 1.00

00:11:36.320 lost their husbands?

00:11:38.000 How about that?

00:11:39.400 Did you stand up for those women, too?

00:11:42.000 Right?

00:11:42.840 But, no, no, no.

00:11:43.380 You've got to categorize men and women into a certain group for the sake of your narrative.

00:11:48.060 So, like I say, again, it's no big loss that you're leaving politics. 1.00

00:11:51.000 Because I found you very disingenuine, dishonest, and really just, well, just full of shit. 1.00

00:11:57.980 Right? 1.00

00:11:58.820 Claiming the victim card because someone said cunt to you. 1.00

00:12:01.440 Or spray-panting the word cunt on your door. 1.00

00:12:05.600 Maybe you're being one. 1.00

00:12:07.980 Right?

00:12:08.060 A lot of Canadians will call it like they see it.

00:12:13.320 They will say it like they see it.

00:12:15.680 Okay?

00:12:17.360 And sitting there, coming across as a victim, someone who has been well-educated, so you

00:12:21.760 say, so what your Wikipedia page says.

00:12:25.000 You know, someone has all this knowledge and background of the environment, and yet you

00:12:28.300 cannot understand the basic environment of your own country.

00:12:32.540 Right?

00:12:33.120 You forget.

00:12:33.960 What fuels the planes that gave you the notoriety to travel around the country to dictate to

00:12:38.700 the rest of us peasants what to do?

00:12:40.780 Okay?

00:12:40.920 What gave you the opportunity to go to school to better yourself?

00:12:44.520 What gave you the opportunity, other than your family fortune?

00:12:48.580 You know?

00:12:49.980 Your ability maybe to swim, because we know you're an athlete.

00:12:53.260 Great.

00:12:54.280 Now, are you given an education based on your athleticism?

00:12:57.600 Did you earn it the old-fashioned way?

00:12:59.720 Getting the marks and meriting?

00:13:01.320 Right?

00:13:01.500 We also know, too, you were handed a position.

00:13:04.760 Handed a position.

00:13:06.260 And what did you do with that position?

00:13:08.620 Missing money.

00:13:09.980 Lying about the environment.

00:13:12.180 Disenfranchising a group of notable workers in this country.

00:13:14.580 For what?

00:13:16.180 For your own virtue.

00:13:17.220 To look better.

00:13:19.040 Right?

00:13:19.740 So, good riddance on you, Ms. McKenna.

00:13:21.660 No one really cares.

00:13:22.920 To be honest with you.

00:13:23.680 No one cares.

00:13:24.460 And it's not sexist to say so.

00:13:26.660 It's not sexist to tell you off.

00:13:29.000 That's part of being an adult.

00:13:30.180 That's part of being in the public eye.

00:13:33.240 That's part of being a leader.

00:13:34.560 Stay updated.

00:14:08.900 However, we have a panel of about three or four of us.

00:14:11.500 We sit and dissect Canadian politics, national politics, social politics, all that good stuff.

00:14:16.340 And one big, happy little ensemble.

00:14:18.940 So please join us this 4th of July to my American friends.

00:14:22.700 I know it's your Independence Weekend.

00:14:25.260 Enjoy yourselves.

00:14:25.880 But if you want to come out to the show and say hello, please do.

00:14:34.440 Feel free to ask us anything you'd like to know about our take on this, our take on that, all that good stuff.

00:14:40.300 So carrying on.

00:14:41.640 Ottawa is burning.

00:14:42.620 The burning part two.

00:14:44.300 I've received a lot of emails recently.

00:14:47.740 Now, I don't believe in doxing.

00:14:49.260 I don't believe in exposing people for their opinions.

00:14:54.260 But I tell you, it's getting to a point. 0.98

00:14:56.040 Some of the emails I've been receiving from some people are pretty fucking nasty. 0.98

00:15:01.540 There's disagreements. 0.99

00:15:02.620 That's fine.

00:15:03.100 I tolerate that, too.

00:15:04.800 But again, I had a couple more emails saying that I got to recognize my privilege yet again.

00:15:09.540 And I'm a white person, and I can't speak out against this.

00:15:14.700 I should know my place.

00:15:16.200 What else?

00:15:18.400 This is off the top of my head here.

00:15:20.340 But those individuals that are watching right now, and you're just cringing at the fact that I'm looking into a camera.

00:15:26.260 I'm looking right at you.

00:15:27.740 Okay? 1.00

00:15:27.920 Go fuck your hats. 1.00

00:15:29.320 You're entitled to your opinion? 1.00

00:15:30.360 Yes.

00:15:31.180 You are entitled to your opinion.

00:15:32.480 And do it well.

00:15:33.260 Do the best of your ability.

00:15:33.940 That's what we have here.

00:15:35.780 But if you're going to sit here and keep finger pointing and blaming me for what happened 100 years ago, you're no better than the tyrants of 100 years ago.

00:15:46.740 You see what I'm getting at?

00:15:48.700 Okay?

00:15:49.360 You see what I'm getting at here?

00:15:50.220 So, you can sit there all you want and tell me how this works and how that works.

00:15:56.080 But there's an essay here that came from a friend of mine that's on Facebook.

00:16:03.020 And I'll read it for you here.

00:16:04.720 Okay, ladies and gentlemen.

00:16:06.200 It was a very, very well put together common sense essay.

00:16:10.180 And I asked his permission if I could use it.

00:16:12.760 I didn't get a response back yet.

00:16:14.640 So, you know who you are, sir.

00:16:17.220 My apologies.

00:16:18.660 I'll beg for forgiveness later.

00:16:20.600 But this essay was just too bloody good not to share.

00:16:24.280 And I'm going to share it with these all here.

00:16:25.980 Okay?

00:16:26.880 So, pay attention carefully if you can.

00:16:28.980 If I can get my page up and running here.

00:16:31.200 I'm going to read it word for word as he wrote it.

00:16:33.860 And just an incredible, just a beautiful little essay.

00:16:37.540 And I'll share it with you here.

00:16:39.680 Hang tight, ladies and gentlemen.

00:16:41.020 Please talk amongst yourselves.

00:16:42.840 You know, but no, I read this and I was just, get you right here.

00:16:48.740 And I'm serious.

00:16:49.600 It, it'd be pretty good.

00:16:52.040 Here we go.

00:16:53.240 Okay.

00:16:55.100 I'll read this here for you.

00:16:57.140 Alrighty.

00:16:57.880 Now, I'm not going to mention his name because I don't have his permission, but I'll read this anyway.

00:17:00.920 There are times when people are speaking in general terms.

00:17:06.120 That's the wrong message that the wrong message is sent.

00:17:08.660 We hear Justin Trudeau speak about Canada being a racist country.

00:17:11.700 He would be right if he said there are racist people living in Canada.

00:17:15.140 Even more accurate if he said there are bigots and hateful people in all walks of life. 0.87

00:17:19.900 There are also people who suggest that all gun owners and Muslims are terrorists. 1.00

00:17:24.060 All politicians are liars and all lawyers are crooked. 0.99

00:17:27.040 But we know that is not true. 0.97

00:17:28.560 And lately, we've had people suggest that all Catholic nuns, deacons, priests, and bishops took part in the abuse of my ancestors.

00:17:36.980 That is not true either.

00:17:38.200 Someone has to stand up for the vulnerable, ordained brothers and sisters who focused on the betterment of mankind.

00:17:46.400 There were 130 residential schools across Canada, and there were at least a dozen more boarding schools.

00:17:52.740 Many of the boarding schools were called that because they were residential homes of Métis or Inuit students.

00:18:00.060 Some were even homes to elite children.

00:18:02.620 I can recall having a nun pound me on the back of the head while holding her red pencil tightly in her fist. 1.00

00:18:07.440 That really hurt.

00:18:09.520 And I remember one or two of the bishops having me place my hand palm up on his desk so he could smack my hand with his yardstick or that leather strap.

00:18:19.520 But I also remember that there were some pretty nice nuns.

00:18:23.160 There were good deacons, and I also remember some of the nice sisters who would smile at us.

00:18:27.860 Why is it important for us to speak about the ones who treated us fairly?

00:18:31.380 Because it's the truth.

00:18:32.460 For me to suggest that all Catholics are bad is every bit as harmful as someone suggesting that every Catholic hated us Indigenous people.

00:18:40.000 It simply isn't so.

00:18:42.740 Forming a biased opinion about an individual because they have a certain race or religion or gender is what causes the divisiveness that Canada is experiencing right now.

00:18:51.980 We can't do that to each other.

00:18:54.840 I personally know a very nice lady who had racist grandparents, but she is pure of heart, and I would never blame her for what her ancestors did to my ancestors.

00:19:03.080 I don't want to sound like Justin Trudeau.

00:19:05.100 I don't want people to think that all Canadians are racist.

00:19:07.840 And I certainly don't want people to judge our Christian friends because a few of them lacked judgment many years ago.

00:19:12.620 Like gun owners, I would suggest that there are significantly more good Christians than there are bad ones. 0.80

00:19:18.940 Canada Day is coming up soon, and I plan to smile and say happy Canada Day to many as Canadians as I can.

00:19:24.840 I want to do my part to exhibit the real Canadian spirit, not the one that the mainstream media and the Trudeaus are trying to promote.

00:19:32.220 I love you guys, as in I love my fellow Canadians.

00:19:36.540 If I've ever made a post that sounded otherwise, I apologize to you for that.

00:19:40.060 But have a wonderful Canada Day.

00:19:42.580 You all deserve it.

00:19:45.460 And I will say this gentleman is First Nations.

00:19:48.680 I've had many talks with him, and he's very, very wise.

00:19:52.260 He carries wisdom around as anyone should.

00:19:55.780 I'm not going to mention his name because, you know, I'd be impolite if I did.

00:19:59.000 I don't want him getting harassed either, but he made a point, ladies and gentlemen.

00:20:03.000 A very, very good point when it comes to why should we judge the crimes of a few?

00:20:08.940 Okay?

00:20:10.240 Now, I agree.

00:20:11.140 Not all Catholics are terrible. 0.98

00:20:12.320 I know some great people that happen to be Catholic that are damn good human beings. 0.98

00:20:16.120 Right? 0.98

00:20:16.560 And there's some people, Anglican, that I've met over the years that are damn good human beings. 0.65

00:20:19.840 I've met Muslims that are good human beings. 0.92

00:20:21.980 Jews.

00:20:23.460 Atheists.

00:20:24.060 Sikhs. 1.00

00:20:24.880 Right?

00:20:26.380 So when someone points fingers at me again and tells me to recognize my privilege,

00:20:32.580 I will say this to you again. 1.00

00:20:36.820 Recognize your fucking prejudice. 1.00

00:20:38.580 Go into your room. 1.00

00:20:43.380 Clean out your room first.

00:20:45.140 Go into your closet.

00:20:47.040 Sort out your closet first.

00:20:49.440 Sort out your marriage first. 0.54

00:20:51.100 Sort out your dilemmas in your life first before you worry about mine.

00:20:55.960 Okay?

00:20:56.340 My life isn't perfect.

00:20:57.700 I might have had some easier goes than some people.

00:21:01.560 But like I said in my last episode, I've had to work for everything.

00:21:06.360 Okay?

00:21:06.500 Nothing was handed to me.

00:21:10.060 Okay?

00:21:10.720 When I was raised as a kid, yes, my parents put clothes in my back, put food in my belly.

00:21:15.120 You know? 0.86

00:21:15.880 And they tried to make my Christmases and my sister's Christmases fan-fucking-tastic.

00:21:20.760 They even tried to make my birthdays fantastic too.

00:21:23.960 Okay?

00:21:24.180 But people change.

00:21:26.140 Certain things happen.

00:21:27.120 Circumstances.

00:21:27.700 Divorces happen.

00:21:29.020 Relationships break down.

00:21:31.340 People break down.

00:21:33.240 Okay?

00:21:33.380 And to sit here and constantly blame one person or one group of people for the atrocities

00:21:40.020 that have happened in the name of the residential schools is pretty disingenuine.

00:21:44.240 There are a lot of people who have seen the papers, who've seen the documents, clergy and

00:21:48.280 politicians alike.

00:21:49.480 And it doesn't matter if they're a Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian, United, Conservative,

00:21:57.440 Liberal, NDP, or Independent.

00:22:00.760 Okay?

00:22:01.960 I've said this before.

00:22:03.720 Let's bring into question and put the people on trial that knew something.

00:22:10.680 Okay?

00:22:12.780 And it doesn't matter who I'm pointing the finger at.

00:22:15.220 It doesn't matter if it's Liberal or Conservative.

00:22:17.260 Okay?

00:22:18.700 And for anybody that has the audacity to call me a white supremacist, back it up.

00:22:25.260 Prove it.

00:22:26.680 Just because I have these flags behind me doesn't mean I represent white supremacy.

00:22:31.080 It represents a part of my history.

00:22:36.140 Just like Quebecers put their fleur-de-lis up. 0.95

00:22:38.640 Just like Portuguese Canadians put the Portuguese flag up. 1.00

00:22:41.980 Just like German Canadians put the old German flags up. 0.96

00:22:45.340 Scottish Canadians put the old Scottish cross up.

00:22:47.540 Irish Canadians put up their flags too.

00:22:49.640 Right?

00:22:51.020 It doesn't matter.

00:22:53.300 What matters is that we get along as people and do what we have to do to make this country what it is.

00:22:58.620 And believe it or not, ladies and gentlemen, regardless of the history of this nation,

00:23:04.260 she is still worth fighting for, folks.

00:23:09.820 And I'll fight for it till my last breath.

00:23:12.880 Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.

00:23:23.980 Yes, and that's right too, ladies and gentlemen.

00:23:29.160 Remember too, she's a real scorcher out there.

00:23:30.820 So people listening in the Alberta and BC interior area, please do not forget to hydrate.

00:23:35.760 And if you're going to water your plants, water the base of the plant and make sure the roots get the nutrients too.

00:23:41.640 Don't just throw water on it because this heat and humidity will damage your plants, especially if you're growing food.

00:23:47.580 So keep that in mind.

00:23:48.720 There's the gardening tip for the day, ladies and gentlemen.

00:23:50.420 You're here from Krusty Canuck.

00:23:51.640 Water the base of your plants. 0.99

00:23:52.580 Anyhow, we're getting to the point of the episode where, last episode, I didn't put up the polar vortex of bullshit. 0.99

00:24:00.440 I was just too enraged. 0.98

00:24:02.300 But this week, this week we do. 1.00

00:24:05.740 This week we will have the Canadian polar vortex of bullshit. 1.00

00:24:11.540 The Canadian polar vortex of bullshit. 1.00

00:24:18.100 And of course, that's right. 1.00

00:24:19.480 The polar vortex of bullshit will go to none other than one individual that can think who really, really deserves it. 0.98

00:24:25.040 I'm pretty sure this person has won it before. 0.99

00:24:27.460 I just can't remember.

00:24:28.500 I should write all this stuff down. 0.98

00:24:29.980 But needless to say, this week's or to this episode's winner, the Canadian polar vortex of bullshit will go to none other than... 0.98

00:24:39.480 Wait for it. 0.99

00:24:46.680 Wait for it.

00:24:50.880 Miss Catherine McKenna.

00:24:52.380 That's right.

00:25:00.060 Like I read before in the episode, how she rambled on about sexism and misogyny, all this good stuff.

00:25:05.960 And she was the first one to blame oil workers and give oil workers a hard time saying that they're dangerous people and they're aggressive and they're a danger to women in the oil patch and all that good stuff. 1.00

00:25:15.540 So well done, Miss McKenna, on winning your prize of... 0.99

00:25:22.540 The Canadian polar vortex of bullshit. 1.00

00:25:30.780 Yes, well done, lady. 1.00

00:25:32.320 Well done for your bullshit award. 1.00

00:25:34.600 And we're carrying on again to the burning part two. 0.99

00:25:37.280 So if they do call an election, then what?

00:25:40.820 What are we going to do?

00:25:41.840 How are we going to do it?

00:25:43.300 Right?

00:25:43.980 I've been talking with my other VCP candidates on getting cards and stuff done, all that stuff.

00:25:48.780 And we're not promoting our party just yet.

00:25:50.740 But stay posted my Facebook page with Krusty Canuck and my Facebook page on the Crowfoot Battle River Riding and the Veterans Coalition Party too, ladies and gentlemen.

00:26:00.500 Keep that in mind when it comes to the political spectrum, as it might hit us today.

00:26:06.560 There's an email there too.

00:26:08.480 Look at the VCP page and decide for yourselves there, folks.

00:26:12.180 Keep that in mind too when they start doing propaganda tidbits, radio ads and TV ads when they start advertising the liberals and the conservatives, NDPs alike.

00:26:21.540 But like my friend said in his essay too, it's not necessarily one party's fault.

00:26:27.360 And I too personally know some good Catholic people, Anglicans, Christians alike.

00:26:34.680 And they would never do anything as heinous as what the clergy did and what some politicians did back in the day.

00:26:40.660 All in the name of Jesus Christ or the Lord or whatever God they believe in.

00:26:46.200 Okay?

00:26:46.320 So keep that in mind.

00:26:48.120 We're going to have open minds when we start promoting the open-mindedness.

00:26:52.360 Okay?

00:26:53.500 I was born here.

00:26:54.520 My parents were born here.

00:26:55.140 My grandparents were born here.

00:26:56.360 I am no longer a colonial.

00:26:58.160 My parents were never a colonial.

00:26:59.740 Neither were my grandparents.

00:27:01.120 Maybe my great-grandparents were.

00:27:03.720 That's about it.

00:27:05.600 You know?

00:27:06.720 And regardless of history, regardless of what empire has come and gone.

00:27:10.520 And I've had people say, we should just go back to bases and go live in the bush.

00:27:13.780 Okay.

00:27:14.540 Go live in the bush.

00:27:16.120 Go live in the bush.

00:27:17.820 You want to blame every European society for what terrible things have happened in North America?

00:27:22.000 Fine.

00:27:22.220 Go live in the bush.

00:27:23.660 Go sharpen a stick.

00:27:24.600 Craft your own bow and arrow.

00:27:26.320 Create your own spear.

00:27:27.100 Learn how to set traps.

00:27:27.980 Learn how to read the ground.

00:27:28.800 Learn how to track animals.

00:27:30.360 Learn what medicines are out there in the land.

00:27:32.560 And then go live in the bush.

00:27:33.760 Go right ahead.

00:27:35.160 Okay?

00:27:36.120 But people forget how many innovations and how many inventions that were created in North America.

00:27:41.560 Not just the United States, but in Canada, too.

00:27:44.020 That made our lives easier.

00:27:45.760 And I may not save that for another episode about some of the great innovations that came from North America.

00:27:50.220 But for now, we can see it as plain as day.

00:27:54.020 Proof's in the pudding, folks.

00:27:55.460 Okay? 0.97

00:27:56.500 So the next time you bitch about how terrible Canada is and how racist it is, take a look in your wallet and be thankful for what you have. 0.96

00:28:03.520 And take a look at the opportunities that have been bestowed on you, that have been laid at your feet.

00:28:08.360 Thank you to our grandparents from the Great Depression and our parents from the boomer generation.

00:28:13.680 Now, you may beg to differ, saying the boomers did all these terrible things.

00:28:17.820 But I got news for you.

00:28:21.260 It was the boomers that made it possible that there was all this equity laws and fairness, right? 0.96

00:28:28.740 And inclusion mandates.

00:28:31.400 And in a way, that's backing fire, too.

00:28:33.740 Okay?

00:28:35.100 So think about that the next time you blame a boomer for your issues.

00:28:38.800 I don't blame my parents for how my life turned out.

00:28:42.320 Okay?

00:28:42.800 There are some things that they could have done better.

00:28:45.420 There are things I could have done better.

00:28:47.240 But they're my parents, and I love them.

00:28:48.720 I miss my mother deeply.

00:28:49.660 She passed away in 2016 due to the big C cancer.

00:28:54.040 Okay?

00:28:54.240 And that was a tough week for me.

00:28:59.140 A lot of things I had to let go.

00:29:00.520 A lot of things I had to forgive.

00:29:01.740 But needless to say, you know, she did her best.

00:29:05.920 And when I look at my father and the work and the stuff that he's accomplished, he did his best, too.

00:29:11.960 And I'm very, very thankful that I had parents to guide me into the right direction.

00:29:17.820 And I've mentioned this before, ladies and gentlemen, but I had instructors in the military that gave me insight.

00:29:22.300 And some of those instructors were foster kids.

00:29:25.380 They didn't have a stable household.

00:29:27.040 They didn't have that traditional upbringing. 0.96

00:29:30.880 And some of those guys went through fucking absolute hell growing up, fighting for their right to have something to eat or to learn something to read something because the foster system is so imperfect. 0.96

00:29:41.660 But those men became leaders. 0.98

00:29:45.540 And I'm actually still in touch with a couple of those lads today, too.

00:29:49.000 So when people say it's hard to this, hard to that, yeah, well, there's a lot of people who have worse goes than other.

00:29:57.000 And it has nothing to do with the color of one's skin.

00:30:00.880 It has to do with the circumstances that they're in and the choices they make.

00:30:05.240 And in a way, I guess I am lucky to have the choices that I have and see the repercussions of my actions.

00:30:11.500 Not perfect.

00:30:12.640 I made mistakes.

00:30:13.580 And I'm still learning, just as you are, too, ladies and gentlemen.

00:30:18.080 But as I say, we have to get rid of this race-baiting BS. 0.98

00:30:23.640 We have to stop this garbage. 1.00

00:30:24.940 We have to, you know, enough of this crap. 1.00

00:30:30.100 Enough of it. 0.99

00:30:30.780 Start being genuine again.

00:30:32.080 Let's celebrate Canada Day.

00:30:33.440 Still, wave the flag.

00:30:35.060 Regards to the imperfections.

00:30:36.520 We will find the truth.

00:30:37.600 And I'm a firm believer in truth and reconciliation.

00:30:40.540 But in the meantime, too, let's still watch each other's backs.

00:30:45.240 Like I say, too, folks, if you like to hear what you see, please check me out on Supercast as well.

00:31:21.340 And I like to say you're welcome.

00:31:25.100 Thank you for the kind gestures in regards to helping me with sound boards and different sound effects and all that, too.

00:31:31.240 I'll take that consideration.

00:31:32.060 You know who you are, you know, Mr. Frogman, who asked me where I got my sound effects from and all that good stuff.

00:31:40.400 But needless to say, thank you for the kind words of encouragement.

00:31:44.220 And I want to thank the people that sent me the hate mail, too.

00:31:47.260 Keep promoting it, okay? 0.99

00:31:49.180 Because it will bite you in the ass later on, folks, okay? 0.99

00:31:52.460 When you keep pointing fingers about people with privilege and all this good stuff, you tend to forget that when you point a finger at somebody, you've got three more of them pointing back at you. 0.99

00:32:00.340 So, sort out your closet in your backyard and your room first before you're worrying what's going to my room.

00:32:07.120 You know what I mean?

00:32:08.180 Something to think about, right?

00:32:09.540 Yeah.

00:32:11.540 And I don't have the answers how we're going to solve this regional schooling problem.

00:32:17.100 I've had a few people weigh in and ask me, oh, what's your policy on this as a VCP member?

00:32:22.900 And I believe in looking after Native rights, period.

00:32:26.940 First Nation rights are just as important as your rights or my rights.

00:32:31.180 You know, the 94 points of reconciliation are substantial, right?

00:32:36.560 But when it comes to recognizing land in this country, I recognize it as one name.

00:32:43.180 Now, you can call me what you want.

00:32:45.000 You can send me all the hate mail you want if I say this.

00:32:47.120 But when I recognize the land in this country, it's got one name.

00:32:54.180 Canada.

00:32:56.020 That's it.

00:32:57.440 I recognize that maybe a tribe lived here or a tribe lives here or a group lived here or a group lived there.

00:33:02.400 That's fine. 0.97

00:33:03.220 But I am not going to cater into the PC mandate and the madness, the sheer fucking madness of pronunciations all the time. 0.62

00:33:11.280 I will honor and respect your history just as much as you honor and respect others' history, too.

00:33:19.740 Okay?

00:33:21.260 That simple.

00:33:22.820 But I live in Alberta, which is a province in Canada.

00:33:28.000 Okay?

00:33:28.860 Sorry.

00:33:29.700 I'm sorry if you don't like that.

00:33:31.660 But telling people what to think and what to do all the time to recognize this and recognize that makes you no better than the tyrants you're claiming us to be.

00:33:43.700 You see what I'm getting at here?

00:33:46.440 I recognize Canada.

00:33:51.400 That's what I recognize.

00:33:53.140 Because I fought for this country.

00:33:57.100 I fought for this country. 0.99

00:33:58.440 And, yeah, I'm going to still brag about it until my last fucking breath. 0.99

00:34:01.960 Why? 0.99

00:34:02.580 Because I can.

00:34:03.640 Because I did it.

00:34:04.920 And I'll keep fighting.

00:34:07.300 Okay?

00:34:07.920 I don't buy this whole who's black or who's white or who's pink or who's brown or who's this or who's that.

00:34:13.300 I look at Canadian people as people.

00:34:16.540 People.

00:34:17.480 Who happen to be from this or happen to be from that.

00:34:20.920 Who happen to be part of this or part of that.

00:34:22.760 That's great.

00:34:23.940 Okay?

00:34:24.120 I acknowledge the vast amounts of languages and cultures and traditions that have come from the First Nations people.

00:34:31.900 Not just in Canada, but in the United States and in Mexico, too.

00:34:35.780 Okay?

00:34:36.280 I also encourage every First Nation member to speak your language.

00:34:42.380 Speak it proudly.

00:34:44.260 To stand by your drawings.

00:34:45.640 Stand by your art.

00:34:46.400 Stand by your songs.

00:34:47.280 Stand by your stories.

00:34:48.100 Stand by your elders.

00:34:49.000 I encourage that highly.

00:34:51.700 Do it.

00:34:52.180 I'm not going to stop you.

00:34:54.860 I don't want to stop you.

00:34:56.220 Why would I want to stop you from doing that?

00:35:00.320 Speak whatever language you want.

00:35:01.560 Dance any way you want.

00:35:03.420 Do what you want.

00:35:04.880 I respect your rights.

00:35:06.780 Do you respect mine?

00:35:08.880 That's the thing.

00:35:10.360 Right?

00:35:11.200 No more colors.

00:35:12.420 No more.

00:35:12.940 No more.

00:35:13.720 No more.

00:35:14.840 Enough.

00:35:15.560 Enough of the colors.

00:35:16.900 Enough of the division.

00:35:18.120 Enough of recognizing this and having you recognize that.

00:35:21.420 Recognize yourself.

00:35:23.580 Right?

00:35:24.120 Be the individual.

00:35:25.460 Make decisions for yourself and what's good for you.

00:35:28.440 That's what it comes down to, too.

00:35:30.360 Just don't hit people and take their stuff.

00:35:33.160 It's that simple, folks.

00:35:34.780 Right?

00:35:35.600 But somewhere we keep losing that.

00:35:37.260 We keep losing that insight and that common platitude.

00:35:42.640 Okay?

00:35:43.400 Anyway, folks, if you get a chance to, please check out my shop,

00:35:45.700 customizedgirl.com.

00:36:10.480 It's summertime.

00:36:11.080 It's getting hot out.

00:36:11.900 So give your wife that inner bay watch by giving her a Krusty Canuck swimsuit. 1.00

00:36:16.580 But, yeah, sales pitch there.

00:36:19.120 Anyway, carrying on, ladies and gentlemen, the burning part two.

00:36:22.120 So the election might be coming up.

00:36:23.320 We'll see.

00:36:24.020 But in the meantime, stay hydrated.

00:36:26.880 I know it is a scorcher.

00:36:28.140 I'm looking at the weather report right now.

00:36:29.420 It's now 33 Celsius instead of a bombing 35, as I mentioned earlier.

00:36:33.540 Still, do what you can, folks.

00:36:36.100 Stay hydrated.

00:36:36.620 Look after your plants.

00:36:37.420 Look after your pets. 0.99

00:36:38.160 Don't keep them out too long because of this fucking scorching heat. 0.99

00:36:41.420 But still, you know, I'd rather have this heat than minus 50 any day. 0.99

00:36:46.660 I know.

00:36:47.260 I've complained about the heat.

00:36:48.800 And I'm hearing a lot of my other friends complain about the heat too.

00:36:50.560 But I ask them, would you rather have it be minus 50?

00:36:54.560 Hey, I can handle this heat more. 0.98

00:36:56.400 I can handle the fucking cold any day because I'm getting sick and tired of the cold. 0.99

00:37:00.360 But that's life. 0.98

00:37:01.600 And what gets me too is how Miss McKenna bragged about the carbon tax being a savior when it

00:37:07.420 comes to fighting the weather.

00:37:08.360 And what's the excuse now with all this heat?

00:37:11.540 My friends in BC, what do you say about the carbon tax now, eh?

00:37:14.640 Real good thing, eh?

00:37:16.000 Well, yeah.

00:37:18.460 Well, anyway, I'm going to end this on a good note, folks.

00:37:23.420 Like I said, it's the 29th of June, 2021.

00:37:27.620 I know the heat is there.

00:37:29.200 However, go out and have some fun.

00:37:30.580 Take a swim.

00:37:31.340 Take your kids out.

00:37:32.200 Take the dogs out. 0.99

00:37:33.420 Go for a nice little walk.

00:37:34.600 Don't forget to hydrate.

00:37:36.100 Get some sun.

00:37:36.680 Get some overdue vitamin D in your skin.

00:37:39.660 Not too long, though.

00:37:40.660 Don't want you to burn.

00:37:42.160 Like I say, if you're going to water your plants, water the base of your plants, though,

00:37:45.260 too, and make sure they got enough to drink.

00:37:47.400 And just do what you can to keep your wits about you, too.

00:37:51.000 I know things are going to open up here in the next couple of days. 0.83

00:37:52.960 Hopefully, there'll be more leniency on the mask bullshit, and maybe we'll find some better 0.55

00:37:59.020 answers and some better data when it comes to fighting this evil beer bug. 0.75

00:38:03.940 But let's not worry about the beer bug, and let's not worry anymore about division.

00:38:07.720 Let's worry about each other.

00:38:09.120 Let's watch each other's backs and do what we can to help each other to the best of our

00:38:12.980 abilities.

00:38:14.340 And like I always say, ladies and gentlemen, do what you can to help your friends out,

00:38:19.440 do what you can to help your neighbors out.

00:38:20.560 Look after your friends and loved ones.

00:38:21.880 And remember, humanity and merit wins the day.

00:38:27.680 Take care, and I'll see you this Sunday on Sunday Fastball.

00:38:31.640 Bye for now.

00:38:35.760 Hit it, sweetheart. 1.00

00:38:38.020 Because I am hard, you will not like me.

00:38:40.880 Yes, sir.

00:38:44.420 There is no racial bigotry here.

00:38:49.020 There you are always working.

00:38:51.880 This has been another episode of the Krusty Canuck Podcast.

00:38:57.220 Stay sane.

00:38:58.160 And thank you for listening.

00:38:59.680 From Western Canada, this is the Krusty Canuck Podcast.

00:39:08.440 Mama always said I had a face for radio.
