00:00:54.900 We will be joined by Cam Higme in just a moment.

00:00:57.560 But I want to get started playing this clip for you guys.

00:01:00.980 Many of you may have already seen it.

00:01:02.480 We did play it in a previous segment.

00:01:04.140 This is Antifa attacking two journalists, Katie Davis-Court and Cam Higby.

00:01:08.940 And I want to show you exactly what's going down in the Pacific Northwest.

00:01:12.320 Let me play that video.

00:01:13.480 Scared?

00:01:14.660 Why are you scared?

00:01:16.380 Uh-oh.

00:01:16.780 I'm just walking.

00:01:18.420 Stop.

00:01:24.820 Don't touch me.

00:01:25.660 You guys liked it.

00:01:27.180 Thank you. 0.92

00:01:27.940 You guys are all I fucking knew. 0.99

00:01:29.980 Run. 1.00

00:01:31.480 Run.

00:01:32.480 Run, run, run.

00:01:33.700 Mace.

00:01:34.000 And there you can see, it looks like we have in this video, I believe they say Cam Higby

00:01:41.840 deploying mace in an act of self-defense as Antifa had robbed, attacked and charged at

00:01:47.960 these individuals.

00:01:49.100 What we've seen in the past week or so, once again, Antifa riots and violence escalating

00:01:55.660 over two big issues, Riley Gaines, who made an appearance protesting male competitors in 0.80

00:02:01.540 women's sports and anti-Israel protesters taking over buildings.

00:02:07.400 And I'll say in an effort to do what, I honestly don't know.

00:02:12.420 But we do have joining us right now Cam Higby, who was on the ground and actually was attacked

00:02:19.500 by these Antifa individuals.

00:02:22.440 So we'll be pulling him in right now.

00:02:25.180 Let me make sure I get it all set up.

00:02:27.420 Cam, can you hear me?

00:02:29.360 I can hear you loud and clear.

00:02:30.700 How's it going?

00:02:31.760 You're alive.

00:02:32.460 Pretty good.

00:02:33.300 So I just watched that video where you guys got attacked by Antifa and you deployed mace.

00:02:38.600 Yeah.

00:02:39.320 Yeah.

00:02:39.740 So they had been following elderly couples that were leaving that Riley Gaines event pretty

00:02:46.420 much from the point people started trickling out.

00:02:49.320 You know, some people were leaving early and it was like old women with canes and just 1.00

00:02:54.380 like extremely old couples of people.

00:02:57.320 The elderly woman with a cane specifically was alone following them to their car saying

00:03:01.820 they want that.

00:03:02.780 I don't know what I can say on here, but it's pretty bad stuff, like very graphic descriptions

00:03:07.140 of how they wish they were dead or wish they got killed.

00:03:09.380 And after one of them, they, uh, they discovered that Katie Davis court was a journalist or they

00:03:16.180 had a suspicion or something.

00:03:17.000 They chased her and then, um, everything was fine again.

00:03:20.200 And then the police didn't go with them for another person they followed.

00:03:24.320 And at the end of that, they chased her again and got super close and I sprayed him.

00:03:28.260 So, so this, this is, uh, obviously over the past, how many days has it been going on on

00:03:32.800 now with like different protests where Antifa is showing up and getting violent?

00:03:37.320 The only two that I've been to recently, I don't know if there's been, um, any prior, uh,

00:03:43.040 I was out of town for a couple of days.

00:03:44.540 So, um, I've been to two recently where they took over this building and then this one today,

00:03:49.820 but I'm sure there's been more.

00:03:51.120 I mean, there's protests going on all the time here.

00:03:52.740 Yeah, absolutely.

00:03:53.700 There was, I believe there was some in Portland and now in, in Seattle.

00:03:57.500 So you guys was in Portland.

00:03:59.260 What was that?

00:04:00.180 Riley was in Portland when those protests were going on too.

00:04:02.740 Right, right, right.

00:04:03.580 And then I think, uh, she, she, she spoke in Portland and then she spoke in, in, in

00:04:07.640 Washington, right?

00:04:08.700 Yep.

00:04:09.280 Not, not, not too far away, I suppose.

00:04:11.060 So you, you, uh, and Katie, you embedded in Antifa, you like dressed up like them.

00:04:15.880 Yeah.

00:04:16.220 Yeah.

00:04:16.420 We were in full black block.

00:04:17.880 Um, pretty much indistinguishable.

00:04:19.380 It was funny.

00:04:19.640 Actually, at one point, like John Cho was coming up and he's like,

00:04:22.600 look at this guy.

00:04:25.500 He didn't know it was you.

00:04:26.820 Yeah.

00:04:27.020 I texted him.

00:04:27.540 I was like, Hey, that was me.

00:04:28.900 Oh, wow.

00:04:29.860 But did he put that video out?

00:04:31.240 It worked.

00:04:32.340 It worked.

00:04:33.160 Uh, how did they, how did they, how did these guys figure out that you weren't

00:04:36.360 actually Antifa?

00:04:37.840 I'm not sure.

00:04:38.720 They never figured me out until I sprayed them, but somehow I think they just

00:04:42.220 started like, I think they got suspicious of Katie, um, because she was

00:04:45.780 filming and then they just, the big one just sprinted at her and then they took her 0.96

00:04:50.740 running from him as she's not one of us.

00:04:53.720 And, um, I talked to them afterwards, uh, and they were like, yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:04:59.200 They were like, cause I mean, we were with them the whole time and they were

00:05:02.460 like, I was like, what happened?

00:05:03.520 And the big guy was like, I think she's filming for the other side.

00:05:06.420 And I was like, oh, wow.

00:05:08.060 I should go talk to her.

00:05:09.580 And he goes, are you, are you with this side?

00:05:11.960 And I was like, what, this side of the street or this side of the protest?

00:05:14.260 And he's like, this side of the protest.

00:05:16.000 And I was like, yeah, of course, of course I'm with this side of the protest.

00:05:18.420 So I went over and talked to Katie and I was like, oh yeah, whatever.

00:05:21.440 And then, you know, yeah, she's with us, whatever.

00:05:23.340 And then they chased her again.

00:05:24.480 And that's when I sprayed them.

00:05:24.940 Oh, interesting.

00:05:26.100 So, uh, do you want to break down what was going on?

00:05:28.540 How this started?

00:05:29.540 There was obviously the occupation of that engineering building, which caused, they're

00:05:33.860 saying right now, a million dollars in damages, but that's as an early estimate.

00:05:38.460 So you were there, you were embedded for that.

00:05:40.200 Like, how did that, how did that happen?

00:05:41.580 And why didn't the police, like, how, how does this come to be where the police don't

00:05:44.900 stop it?

00:05:46.220 Yeah.

00:05:46.460 I mean, well, at first there was no protest or no police presence.

00:05:49.980 So it's, it's kind of like, I mean, in these places, like, you know, I've done a lot of

00:05:54.140 journalism in LA and now a lot in Seattle and in these cities, the police just don't

00:06:00.360 really do anything about base level property damage.

00:06:04.000 They don't really care.

00:06:04.760 So they show up, they take over the building, much like what happened at UCLA.

00:06:08.880 And, um, they claim that it's funded by Boeing.

00:06:11.740 Um, I think that's true to some degree.

00:06:13.640 It's the interdisciplinary engineering building.

00:06:15.760 So they take it over, they occupy it and it's kind of in a U shape.

00:06:18.940 So, um, they have a bunch of people inside the building that are occupying, and then they

00:06:22.240 have even more people outside the building in the inner part of this U shape that the building

00:06:27.140 forms.

00:06:27.560 It was like a staircase that goes down.

00:06:28.940 Um, so they're down in there and, um, they're kind of doing like vigils for Hassan Nasrallah

00:06:34.040 and Ishmael Haneah, Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists and, uh, whatever.

00:06:38.100 And then, but then there's Antifa up on the street and they're moving bike racks and statues

00:06:42.620 and all kinds of stuff from around the campus to block the streets.

00:06:45.100 At one point they had a long line of buses going both ways because it forms kind of a T

00:06:49.540 shape in the road.

00:06:50.760 And so they're blocking all these buses.

00:06:52.240 They had some interfights about whether or not they should be blocking the working class on

00:06:56.680 these buses, but ultimately it was decided that, uh, who cares they're blocking the police.

00:07:01.180 So, um, the police formed up in an alley on the opposite side of the street where they

00:07:06.140 had another barrier, which consisted of some dumped, uh, tipped over dumpsters, some bike

00:07:10.820 racks with lime scooters and electric bikes.

00:07:14.280 Um, you know, just thrown around and they lit that on fire when the police showed up in the

00:07:18.580 alley to separate them from the police.

00:07:20.920 And it, it unmitigated, this fire went on for 45 minutes.

00:07:24.680 Wait, wait, wait, wait, real quick.

00:07:26.560 The, the lime scooters, they set the dumpster on fire and the lime scooters were like in 0.88

00:07:33.000 the pile of crap.

00:07:33.980 Those things have, those things have massive lithium ion batteries. 0.95

00:07:36.960 Yeah.

00:07:37.380 Yeah.

00:07:37.780 And there's videos.

00:07:38.580 I posted some videos students took on my Twitter.

00:07:41.040 They were exploding like every five minutes.

00:07:43.020 You just hear a huge bang.

00:07:45.060 Wow.

00:07:45.500 Oh yeah.

00:07:46.520 So, but, but, but again, like why, why aren't the police coming in and just shutting this

00:07:51.540 stuff down?

00:07:52.320 It's a great question.

00:07:53.520 I think they should have done it as soon as they occupied the building, but they didn't.

00:07:56.500 And so they gave a dispersal order 10 21, everybody better be out of here.

00:08:00.280 You're subject to arrest that now there's a huge fire in between them and the protesters.

00:08:04.120 So that 10 21 turned into like a 10 45.

00:08:06.740 And so they ended up coming up, they formed a police line around the building.

00:08:10.800 They told everybody you're, you're fine to peacefully protest outside the building, even though

00:08:14.620 they're like, you know, getting in the police's faces prior to the police coming up, actually

00:08:18.440 though, they, somebody yelled out, does anybody have projectiles?

00:08:21.660 And then they started gathering stones up.

00:08:23.960 So there are all these piles of rocks in the roads.

00:08:26.420 There was bigger rocks, like maybe this size that were thrown into the road to like obscure

00:08:31.900 vehicles.

00:08:32.280 And then there were smaller rocks, you know, like this piles of them everywhere that were

00:08:36.640 meant to be thrown at the police.

00:08:38.960 Did these people have a coherent demand?

00:08:41.660 Um, divest.

00:08:44.620 Yeah, it was, it was, uh, I think with the buses, it was, um, you know, this would just

00:08:51.760 be easy if they would just divest and the easiest way to get the buses through would just be to

00:08:55.100 divest. 0.93

00:08:55.580 And it's like, Oh my God, it's so silly. 0.99

00:09:20.440 That's B-O-B at L-I-B-S-Y-N.com. 1.00

00:09:24.600 Was it like two different groups though was because, you know, Antifa tends to be this

00:09:29.660 immersive group of general leftist causes, but then we're hearing that, you know, this

00:09:34.280 and I want to draw the distinction.

00:09:35.640 There's two different pro actually there's like three or four different protests, but

00:09:38.780 here at UW, there was the Riley Gaines.

00:09:41.200 That was the transgender one. 1.00

00:09:42.680 This one we're talking about right now was the, the Israel Boeing divest, whatever.

00:09:46.640 But did it seem like there were two distinct groups of ideology among the protesters?

00:09:52.120 Ideologies?

00:09:52.340 I wouldn't say distinct, but there was definitely like infighting.

00:09:55.080 Like we had the bus infighting and that's like, um, you, you see that there's kind of

00:09:59.280 two factions or several factions of people there.

00:10:01.480 And these leftist protests I've observed kind of just become a conglomerate.

00:10:05.500 Like you have the trans stuff and the forever you'll see trans stuff at leftist protests.

00:10:09.300 Now there's the, the Gaza stuff forever. 1.00

00:10:11.760 Now you'll see Palestinian flags at leftist protests.

00:10:13.780 And there was another incident where they were kind of infighting yesterday, um, the

00:10:18.580 same day that the spray was deployed where this dude who I think he's actually tabled

00:10:23.940 with me at UW where he, he got on the mic and he said, we need to show the right wing

00:10:29.460 that we're not violent.

00:10:30.620 We can't give them what they want.

00:10:32.040 They want us to be violent, whatever.

00:10:33.700 And the Antifa crowd on the, on the, that was flanking the protest started yelling.

00:10:38.420 They started the violence.

00:10:39.940 We need to be violent.

00:10:41.020 It's, it's not business as usual, blah, blah, blah, whatever.

00:10:43.500 You know, the usual, well, they're basically lumping the right there.

00:10:48.260 They're, they're, this is the funniest thing about what the left does.

00:10:50.940 Now I call them the left because as we're pointing out here, it is a group of protesters

00:10:55.860 and their causes change, right?

00:10:58.380 When they had the anti-Israel protests at Columbia, New York, they had the people's tent.

00:11:04.840 They had a bunch of socialist causes aligned with anti-Israel.

00:11:10.280 And these are two distinct causes, but they lump them all together.

00:11:13.420 They protest together.

00:11:14.420 They riot together.

00:11:15.060 And they actually say, you know, respect the diversity of tactics.

00:11:19.380 Whereas on the right, the left will claim that neo-Nazis and libertarians are the same

00:11:24.140 faction.

00:11:25.220 Or my favorite meme recently was, um, it was a meme about Donald Trump funding Israel.

00:11:30.800 And I don't know if you saw this, Hitler, like the ghost of Hitler was patting Trump on the

00:11:35.820 back, praising him for Trump sending weapons to Israel.

00:11:39.460 And the responses were like, I think Kyle Kalinske posted, people are like, do you know anything

00:11:45.560 about what that guy was trying to do?

00:11:47.580 Because I'm not sure he would praise someone giving billions of dollars to a sovereign Jewish 0.92

00:11:51.460 state.

00:11:52.640 But that's why when they lump the right in as one group, it makes no sense.

00:11:57.300 But when we say the left, there is a general large amorphous blob where you have Antifa

00:12:03.200 adopting whatever cause it might be, and then aligning themselves with whatever is in the

00:12:08.340 news at this, at this moment.

00:12:10.160 So anyway, I mean, I'm ranting right now, but you know, uh, moving on to, or actually I'm

00:12:16.180 curious if there's anything you wanted to add before we move on to the next protest, like

00:12:19.280 anything you saw that people should know about.

00:12:21.320 Um, I mean, yeah, we went over the fires.

00:12:26.780 It's just the stuff, the stuff that they're chanting outside of the violence and the, like

00:12:30.720 having to deploy the, the spray, the stuff they're chanting.

00:12:34.560 I don't know.

00:12:34.780 What, what can I, can I repeat what they said?

00:12:36.920 Or is that going to be like a TOS thing?

00:12:38.940 Yeah.

00:12:39.160 I don't know, actually.

00:12:40.100 Cause I pulled some of it up and I'm like, I don't, I don't want to read this.

00:12:42.520 They were calling for death and murder.

00:12:44.160 Yeah.

00:12:44.580 Yeah.

00:12:44.780 And threatening other people.

00:12:46.000 In very graphic ways.

00:12:47.460 Yeah.

00:12:47.660 And it's like, you see what the, it's like, it's funny.

00:12:51.600 I saw, um, a post that Andy reposted either something that Katie or I filmed and it was

00:12:58.420 like the most vile thing you could say to a person.

00:13:01.160 And then it's like, you just see the preview and the camera pans over and it's like this

00:13:04.580 little old lady, like hunching over with a cane. 1.00

00:13:07.140 And it's like, Oh my God.

00:13:08.840 It's like, I saw it in person and I'm still, I'm still shocked by it.

00:13:11.860 And that's terrible.

00:13:13.040 That's Andy.

00:13:13.480 No, you're saying who reposed that.

00:13:15.080 Yeah.

00:13:15.260 I noticed you have that, that dumpster behind you.

00:13:19.000 Hmm.

00:13:19.940 Yeah.

00:13:20.300 This is my souvenir.

00:13:21.720 I took, I took the other night.

00:13:23.460 It's a, it's, it's an Antifa garbage shield.

00:13:26.880 Yep. 0.91

00:13:27.500 Yep.

00:13:28.140 So, uh, how did you get that?

00:13:31.340 Um, well, I mean, they were just laying out in the street and, uh, you know, it seemed

00:13:36.120 there was a group that was kind of standing around them and I was getting ready to leave.

00:13:40.320 And so I just grabbed it.

00:13:42.500 It took two of them.

00:13:43.440 Um, it's crazy to me that the police allow these people to show up with these, these

00:13:49.100 tools and these weapons.

00:13:50.760 I mean, I get, you can grab a rock off the street, but they're there.

00:13:53.740 This shows premeditation.

00:13:55.260 It shows conspiracy to commit a crime.

00:13:57.500 It, it, it, it seems to me that in the Pacific Northwest, they want and encourage it.

00:14:02.140 And then one of the stories from post-millennial was that one of the people arrested at this

00:14:06.420 protest was a public defender.

00:14:09.260 What do I think?

00:14:10.800 I think Ari Hoffman also reported that one of them was a nurse too, at a like local hospital

00:14:15.940 or clinic or something.

00:14:17.180 It's just, I don't know.

00:14:19.380 And there's older people there.

00:14:20.580 Like these people are not all students.

00:14:22.060 And what's really jarring to, to your point about the police is there were several points

00:14:26.720 the other night where this police line was formed around the interdisciplinary engineering

00:14:30.980 building.

00:14:31.620 And the police were like actively saying, you're committing a crime right now.

00:14:35.180 If you keep doing it, we're going to arrest you.

00:14:36.840 And it's like, they keep doing it.

00:14:38.360 And it's like, if you keep doing it, we're going to arrest you.

00:14:40.220 And they just keep doing it.

00:14:41.280 And there's no arrests made.

00:14:42.560 And it's really not the police's fault.

00:14:44.540 Like it's not their fault.

00:14:45.500 It's, it's the fault of the broken city with a broken system full of prosecutors who will

00:14:49.760 not prosecute people who are committing violence in the name of things they believe in.

00:14:54.080 Well, I gotta be honest.

00:14:55.280 I mean, uh, I don't have sympathy for these people, you know, they, they vote for it.

00:14:59.460 I don't, do you live up there?

00:15:01.060 Yeah.

00:15:01.640 Oh man.

00:15:02.200 Why?

00:15:04.040 Yeah.

00:15:04.520 Just, uh, like my girlfriend has a job up here and I mean, it is, it is kind of convenient

00:15:08.920 that I can go report on this stuff, but it's like, you know, you go,

00:15:12.560 you go out and it's like this, the situation that happened where they're like chasing us

00:15:16.020 down and I have to deploy pepper spray.

00:15:18.300 It's like, that's scary.

00:15:20.160 First of all, because it's like, I don't know if they have a knife.

00:15:23.060 I don't know if they have a gun.

00:15:23.980 I don't know what they have.

00:15:24.940 They could, they could do some serious harm to me or to Katie, who is like four times smaller

00:15:30.580 than this giant Antifa gorilla who's chasing us.

00:15:34.640 And then it's like, if I defend myself, am I going to go to jail?

00:15:38.460 Yeah.

00:15:38.960 Yep.

00:15:39.660 So then what was it?

00:15:40.820 The next day is when the Riley Gaines thing happened.

00:15:43.780 Yeah.

00:15:44.200 The next, the next day was, it was the Riley Gaines thing.

00:15:46.880 I, I, I'm actually surprised that it wasn't worse yesterday because it kind of felt like

00:15:51.420 the taking over the building was a warmup for the Antifa people and they were definitely 0.67

00:15:56.780 there and they were definitely stirring some stuff up, but, um, it kind of just dispersed

00:16:01.940 after the pepper spray thing.

00:16:04.380 Um, I, I, I guess it's probably because Riley Gaines was speaking during the day.

00:16:08.100 Yeah.

00:16:08.600 Right.

00:16:08.720 Probably.

00:16:09.400 So yeah, they, they come out at night.

00:16:11.080 That's when they're emboldened.

00:16:12.380 But, uh, so, so what went down there?

00:16:14.540 I mean, did anything significant happen?

00:16:16.420 I know that they were reportedly throwing feces.

00:16:18.160 Yeah, there was, there was one person that was like waving a trans flag everywhere.

00:16:22.380 And it's, it's funny too, because the person came up and I have no idea what gender this

00:16:27.740 person was, what would sex or anything, but came up through, uh, through, um, a bag of

00:16:32.840 some kind of feces at the people who were guarding the door for the turning point event.

00:16:37.460 And this is, by the way, the police have a line in front of these people.

00:16:40.860 So through, through the bag poop past the, the, um, the people, I didn't, I saw this,

00:16:46.180 but I didn't know what it was until I saw Katie's reporting.

00:16:48.940 And, um, so that happens.

00:16:50.940 And then this person is still coming up and like waving the trans flag and she's, he,

00:16:55.560 she, whatever is like waving it in front of the police, like right in their faces.

00:16:59.100 And one of the cops snatched the flag and was like, you're not, this is like, you're

00:17:02.500 using this as a weapon.

00:17:03.240 You're not allowed to have this.

00:17:03.960 And then they gave it back like immediately.

00:17:07.560 It was like, they're like, that is just, that is confiscation of personal property.

00:17:11.220 You just stole that, whatever.

00:17:12.280 And immediately the police just give it back.

00:17:13.920 I'm like part of, part of me wants to think that what's actually going on is like the RoboCop

00:17:17.800 narrative where they're, they're allowing Antifa to do this because it lowers property

00:17:22.120 values so that they can start snatching up properties for the public for their commie

00:17:25.860 plans or whatever.

00:18:21.300 Could be.

00:18:22.800 But I don't know.

00:18:23.540 I don't, I, I guess the argument is they don't want to make arrests of Antifa because

00:18:27.800 it'll generate viral videos, which will exacerbate the riots and the protests.

00:18:31.380 But, you know, I don't, I don't believe that because they're as bad as they've been and

00:18:34.740 they're getting worse.

00:18:35.640 Yeah.

00:18:36.100 And this, and the sad part is like, we need to, we need federal law that, that bans protesting

00:18:41.400 with masks because these people also stole my camera and they, they left with it.

00:18:47.540 And now I lost my footage for the entire day and $400 worth of equipment.

00:18:52.580 It was just a GoPro.

00:18:53.800 So it wasn't like a thousand dollar camera or anything, but it's just, I don't have,

00:18:57.300 now I don't have the footage.

00:18:58.360 I don't have the camera.

00:18:59.680 I don't have the, the mount for the camera that mounts it to my chest.

00:19:03.680 And I've also, I got bear sprayed in LA and the person was wearing a mask and I have

00:19:07.820 no way of identifying who this person was to sue them or to bring any kind of legal

00:19:12.400 repercussions against them because I have the body camera footage.

00:19:15.460 They're doing it clear as day, but their face is fully covered and there's no way to identify

00:19:19.080 them.

00:19:19.220 They, they tried this in DC during Trump's first inauguration in 2017, you had probably

00:19:24.340 a thousand people in black block.

00:19:26.340 You know, they're all wearing masks and hoodies and sunglasses.

00:19:29.220 So they go there with the intent to obfuscate the crimes of their comrades.

00:19:34.460 And then what happens is the police couldn't identify any single individual.

00:19:38.940 So they arrested everyone.

00:19:40.980 They put 230 or so people charged them, put them through trial and charged them with conspiracy

00:19:48.560 because they knew they couldn't get any one individual because they're wearing masks.

00:19:52.880 The court not only dismissed it, but the Antifa people sued this, sued the government,

00:19:59.520 the federal government, city of DC and won a million bucks.

00:20:02.660 That, how do you function when, when these people are able to do these things every day?

00:20:10.120 So I would say to your mask point, people should be allowed to wear masks.

00:20:14.820 People should be allowed to wear masks at a protest, but if you commit a crime, it should

00:20:19.320 aggravate that crime.

00:20:20.800 So if a protest becomes a riot and you're wearing a mask and now you're breaking the law, it should

00:20:25.320 be a way more serious penalty.

00:20:26.800 I think the challenge is like, sometimes you wear a winter, a winter face mask.

00:20:31.440 You can't make that illegal.

00:20:32.220 You know, the reason why Antifa ends up winning is because the courts were like, look, you

00:20:38.240 can't charge someone with conspiracy because they happen to be wearing a black hoodie.

00:20:41.280 You'll end up arresting some random person.

00:20:44.720 It's a good point.

00:20:45.900 But who knows?

00:20:46.520 I mean, I will ask you this though.

00:20:47.620 Trump is now saying that they're going to put UW under review following the occupation of

00:20:52.240 this building, but Trump, the Trump admin in the first term didn't go after these universities

00:20:57.660 when Antifa was firebombing buildings and protesting for Black Lives Matter.

00:21:02.340 It seems now that the only reason the Trump admin is going after these universities is because

00:21:06.460 they're engaged in anti-Semitic behavior targeting Jewish students, or there are students being

00:21:11.960 deported because they're critical of Israel.

00:21:14.400 I'm curious your thoughts on that.

00:21:15.520 Yeah, I mean, I don't, I don't recall exactly what happened back in 2020 so long ago, but

00:21:22.580 I don't, I don't think it is necessarily because of that.

00:21:25.960 I think Trump is just cracking down on everything now and doesn't have any fears because he doesn't

00:21:31.000 have to run for reelection again.

00:21:32.620 But like today, or not today, yesterday, it wasn't, wasn't about anything related to Israel

00:21:38.040 or anything like that.

00:21:38.680 It was, it was Riley Gaines thing and, you know, they're doing the same stuff.

00:21:41.860 So I don't, I don't think that that's really the case because they're protesting lots of

00:21:45.840 stuff, but UW is a ripe place to crack down on.

00:21:49.640 I mean, I table at UW virtually every week and they come up to me and they steal my hat,

00:21:55.200 my MAGA hat off my head.

00:21:56.480 They rip my signs off my table.

00:21:58.100 They try to steal my camera.

00:21:59.800 They turn my camera off while I'm recording. 0.84

00:22:01.760 It's just like, it is, it is a, a campus full of absolute degenerate miscreants that don't

00:22:08.820 understand the rule of law because there is no rule of law in Seattle, Washington.

00:22:13.280 Your laws are only as good as the mechanism that enforces them.

00:22:16.360 And if you don't enforce the laws, they don't exist.

00:22:18.540 I think I'd say they do understand the rule of law very well.

00:22:22.340 Why is that?

00:22:23.240 Because the state, they know the state's not going to enforce it so they can get away with

00:22:26.320 these things.

00:22:27.120 Sure.

00:22:27.420 You know, if, if, if the police were going to arrest them and they were doing it, I'd

00:22:30.900 say that they must not understand or they don't care.

00:22:32.880 But I think one of the biggest issues we've seen with Portland and Seattle, you had the

00:22:38.120 Chaz chop, whatever they called it.

00:22:41.260 They didn't want to call it the, the Chaz because autonomous, because like a legal thing

00:22:44.400 or something like that, but people were killed.

00:22:46.880 And then they tried in Portland.

00:22:48.720 They, they did it in Atlanta.

00:22:49.860 They didn't Minnesota, but larger than the Pacific Northwest, you had this going on where

00:22:54.240 they, they, they seized a police building.

00:22:57.260 So my only conclusion is the police are in on it.

00:22:59.680 And maybe, maybe it's, maybe you're right when you said it's not really the police's

00:23:03.360 fault individually.

00:23:04.780 Like these beat cops know that even if they try to make an arrest, they're going to get

00:23:08.100 yelled at by their boss.

00:23:09.240 The person's going to get let go.

00:23:10.880 The city is going to pay a settlement and they're going to get in trouble.

00:23:13.360 I suppose I would, I would say the police bear some responsibility for this because if

00:23:18.840 these cops really felt that their hands were tied and it was unjust, they should just resign

00:23:25.100 in protest.

00:23:26.140 I can't do my job.

00:23:27.580 I'm not going to, because what would happen?

00:23:29.680 To these cities, if the police just said, nope, and then the protesters got to do whatever

00:23:34.320 they wanted, the people who live in these cities might actually then vote to change

00:23:39.120 things.

00:23:40.620 Unless of course it's what they want.

00:23:42.420 So I don't know, man, I'm, I'm, I'm curious then, um, what are your thoughts on the sentiment

00:23:47.080 of the people who live in Seattle in and around, uh, UW?

00:23:51.240 I think it's pretty divided because I think you get a lot of people who are honking their

00:23:55.080 horns as they drive through.

00:23:56.060 But as I was walking down the street in black block, I had a lot of really angry people

00:24:00.420 yelling at me like, Hey man, where's the violence happening today?

00:24:04.300 Who are you going to, what are you going to do? 0.89

00:24:05.600 Beat up an old lady today? 1.00

00:24:07.000 Are you going to take over another building?

00:24:08.480 I'm like, when you can't tell, but I'm laughing.

00:24:10.720 I, yeah, I felt bad because there was, um, a cameraman for this, um, uh, new station and

00:24:19.020 I won't say who or what station, but you know, he, he's not for these people or whatever,

00:24:26.000 but he's not doing anything wrong.

00:24:27.260 He's like this little innocent Hispanic guy and he's so sweet.

00:24:30.320 And they're, they're like walking by just finishing harassing these old people and he's 0.99

00:24:35.740 in the parking lot and they walk by and why don't you, you know, end your life too.

00:24:40.140 And, you know, it's just like, you just see the, like the, um, sadness, like wash over

00:24:45.060 these people's faces.

00:24:46.340 And so I went over afterwards and I like pulled my mask down and he was like, Hey, how are

00:24:50.160 you?

00:24:50.900 You know, but I, it's like, you just feel bad for these people that are just getting harassed

00:24:54.740 for literally no reason.

00:24:56.180 And there are, there are no repercussions for threatening violence against people or

00:25:01.520 for following people to their cars and shouting out their license plate numbers or standing

00:25:05.580 in front of people and false imprisoning them.

00:25:08.880 So what a crazy place, man.

00:25:10.960 Uh, I've, I've got a, I've got a question for you that no one, uh, outside of Seattle

00:25:15.220 who's never been there will understand.

00:25:16.860 And it's going to be great. 0.99

00:25:18.160 Um, so do you guys, uh, when you hang out at UW, do you still go eat a bag of dicks? 0.99

00:25:23.820 I don't get this joke. 0.96

00:25:24.980 I didn't really, it's just like a local, like a, like you'd get it if you went to

00:25:28.000 UW or yeah, there's Dick's burgers, man. 0.99

00:25:31.000 So everybody goes and walks up to get a bag of dicks. 0.98

00:25:34.060 And so when you, when you, when you hang out there, people be like, Hey, go eat it. 1.00

00:25:37.660 You want to go eat a bag of dicks? 1.00

00:25:39.000 And you're like, excuse me. 1.00

00:25:40.420 And they're like, let's go.

00:25:41.200 And then you walk up to the drive-in or whatever it's all the drive-in, but you walk

00:25:44.740 up and you get a bunch of cheeseburgers.

00:25:46.560 Yeah.

00:25:46.980 Okay.

00:25:47.360 Okay.

00:25:47.660 Interesting.

00:25:48.120 Yeah.

00:25:48.260 I, I, I, I hang out right in like red square or in the quad.

00:25:53.920 And I, I, I sit there, I parked my car under red square.

00:25:57.040 I sit in, in the, in the quad, I do my tabling and then I get the hell out of there as fast

00:26:01.440 as I can.

00:26:01.920 I do not, I do not waste any time around the surrounding area.

00:26:06.100 Yeah.

00:26:06.740 There, there, there, it's a, it's like a chain.

00:26:08.500 They've got them all over Seattle, I guess.

00:26:11.160 Well, not all over, there's a handful of them, but I haven't been, I was, I haven't been

00:26:15.160 to Seattle in like 15 years.

00:26:16.880 And I remember, uh, when I was down there, do you guys still, do you, do you still have

00:26:21.220 the av rats?

00:26:23.360 Like, are you talking about like homeless people all over the av? 0.89

00:26:25.900 There, there, when I was there, there was a group of young people, scuzz punk lefty 0.99

00:26:30.700 types. 0.83

00:26:31.080 They called the Avenue rats.

00:26:32.220 They call them the av rats.

00:26:33.040 And they lived on the university Avenue by all the, all that, all the markets and all

00:26:38.220 the food and restaurants.

00:26:39.120 I think I might've interviewed one the other day.

00:26:40.960 Yeah.

00:26:41.140 I don't go on the app very often, but, um, I mean, the av is great.

00:26:45.240 Like we were, I was interviewing this dude who might've been one of these av rats the other 1.00

00:26:49.800 day and we're interviewing him and this homeless dude comes up and he starts just like, there's

00:26:55.380 this smaller girl who's like listening to our conversation, standing kind of off to the side.

00:27:00.120 And this dude, the homeless dude comes up right behind her and he starts throwing these

00:27:03.800 e-scooters and e-bikes.

00:27:05.380 He's like yelling because he can't park his bike or the bike zone.

00:27:10.060 I don't know, but he, but then like somehow he got in front of us and now you can just

00:27:14.000 hear like disembodied screaming coming all up and down the app.

00:27:17.820 It's crazy.

00:27:18.640 It's kind of crazy, man.

00:27:19.500 How old are you?

00:27:20.900 25.

00:27:21.780 Yeah, man.

00:27:22.580 Jeez, I'm 39.

00:27:24.540 And it really does feel like all of our cities are getting worse.

00:27:29.020 Like, yeah, I mean, I've, I've, I've had stories of crazy homeless people, but the stuff we

00:27:35.260 see popping up now, I don't think is just a phenomenon of, of social media, making it

00:27:39.240 more apparent.

00:27:40.700 I heard stories out of like New York, Chicago, Seattle, LA.

00:27:46.080 I mean, the videos that come out of LA with the homelessness of people like taking dumps

00:27:49.840 in the street.

00:27:51.200 I also gotta be honest, never been to, I covered protests for about eight or nine years on the

00:27:55.680 ground across the U S and in other countries.

00:27:57.660 Never saw someone throw feces at somebody, you know, seems like things have escalated.

00:28:03.520 They absolutely have.

00:28:05.120 The tactics are changing.

00:28:07.080 And I, I didn't even, I didn't even realize that's what she threw until I saw like John

00:28:13.180 Cho texted me and he's like, somebody threw poop outside.

00:28:15.800 And I was like, what?

00:28:16.840 I didn't believe him.

00:28:18.300 I was like, no way, man.

00:28:20.460 At least it was in a bag, I guess, I guess, sooner or later it won't be.

00:28:26.400 And they'll just, anyway, man, uh, thanks for joining us.

00:28:29.520 Is there, is there anything else you wanted to add about what you're seeing or what you

00:28:32.440 may be covering in the future?

00:28:34.020 Yeah.

00:28:34.420 I mean, I'll just be covering these protests as they come, you know?

00:28:38.620 Um, so follow on X and I can only cover them as they come.

00:28:43.200 I'm not planning the protests.

00:28:44.760 So when there is a protest, I'll be there.

00:28:46.900 Where can people find you?

00:28:47.600 Uh, you find me in, on X at Cam Higby or on YouTube at Cam Higby.

00:28:52.520 Right on, man.

00:28:53.280 Well, stay safe out there.

00:28:55.300 Don't get feces thrown at you and, uh, good luck, brother.

00:28:58.780 Yeah.

00:28:59.080 Thanks.

00:28:59.540 Thanks for having me.

00:29:00.360 Thanks for hanging out.

00:29:01.580 See ya.

00:29:03.540 Ladies and gentlemen, that was Cam.

00:29:07.060 And, uh, you know, he's obviously on the ground here and actually, let me, uh, let me pull

00:29:10.580 this, this video back up because I'm pretty sure in the video, you can see him.

00:29:15.120 Let me, let me, let me play the video again.

00:29:17.600 I think that's Cam back there.

00:29:19.880 Are you scared?

00:29:21.220 Uh-oh.

00:29:22.220 I think that's him filming.

00:29:23.700 I'm just walking.

00:29:25.120 Stop.

00:29:26.060 Stop.

00:29:27.420 Stop.

00:29:28.620 Stop.

00:29:29.900 Because you can see, I think he's right here.

00:29:32.520 I should have just asked him.

00:29:33.680 Don't touch me. 0.84

00:29:35.040 And then I think he sprays her in the face with Mace.

00:29:37.600 I think he mazed her.

00:29:39.640 Yeah, I think he just got her.

00:29:43.320 Run.

00:29:44.300 Run, run, run.

00:29:45.340 Mace.

00:29:46.300 Yup.

00:29:50.020 Yo, man, it is wild out there.

00:29:54.120 Let me just, I'll just, I'll just say a few more things.

00:29:56.080 And if you guys got any rumble rants you want to throw in, we can, uh, maybe grab a couple.

00:30:00.940 But, you know, I got started doing all this, covering these, these protests, these conflicts

00:30:06.420 on the ground, and the stuff that I've been seeing, it has gotten absolutely crazy.

00:30:13.580 Look, the worst thing that happened to me when I was covering this stuff, you know, from

00:30:18.100 Occupy to the protests, they, uh, they would swing it, swing at my camera.

00:30:22.980 Uh, I had one instance in New York where someone swatted my hand with my phone in it.

00:30:27.980 But that was, that was about it.

00:30:31.200 Uh, it was a big deal, too.

00:30:32.960 There was actually a big story.

00:30:34.200 I wonder if you can find this.

00:30:37.760 I wonder if you can find the old story.

00:30:39.600 Yeah, there you go.

00:30:40.580 NBC News.

00:30:42.480 Look at this.

00:30:43.860 Yo.

00:30:44.460 Look at, look at 25-year-old me.

00:30:46.980 Cameras no longer allowed, welcome at Occupy Wall Street.

00:30:49.800 Attack highlights conflict.

00:30:52.240 Yup.

00:30:52.580 I even had live stream written on my phone, and then, uh, some dude physically attacked

00:30:58.080 me.

00:30:58.960 But to the point where they're throwing feces, and they, uh, bloodied up Andy Ngo, it's getting

00:31:06.500 crazy.

00:31:06.900 What I will say for Cam, for those other guys that are on the ground, for the

00:31:11.580 me, it got to a point where, uh, I was getting attacked.

00:31:15.740 I was getting trolled.

00:31:17.120 There's a video to Boston where this, uh, right-wing dude pulls my head off.

00:31:21.180 And I, like, naturally just got super pissed.

00:31:23.920 At that protest, some Antifa guy who was like, I don't know, 240 pounds, got in my face and

00:31:30.020 was swinging at me.

00:31:31.280 He's threatening to hit me.

00:31:32.800 And so here I am. 0.88

00:31:33.720 I got this guy in my face. 0.80

00:31:35.180 And then I walk down, and then this dude comes up behind me and then yanks my head off.

00:31:39.380 And I'm just on edge already, super pissed off, surrounded by the far left.

00:31:45.220 And now I'm like, now these guys are coming up to me.

00:31:47.580 I just was like, this is, it's getting too much.

00:31:50.300 People know who I am.

00:31:51.720 And so I was in, uh, I think I was in, I was in Portland.

00:31:56.420 And I actually had some 30-year-old guy.

00:31:59.040 It's like the craziest thing in the world.

00:32:00.260 So chasing me, literally jumping in front of the camera, just making weird noises.

00:32:05.720 And he wasn't associated with any of the protests.

00:32:07.800 The cops couldn't do anything about it.

00:32:09.640 And it's at this point, it's like, you can't actually do the job anymore.

00:32:12.060 So here I am, you know, and that's where I end up.

00:32:16.320 So shout out to all the guys that are still on the ground doing this reporting.

00:32:20.020 One question I should have asked is like, how come nobody's live streaming anymore?

00:32:24.020 You used to have people, they would go live.

00:32:25.920 But I suppose too many people are using those live streams to find you and then disrupt what

00:32:33.300 you're doing.

00:32:34.240 And if you're going to be like Cam or Katie and you're undercover, you're dressed in black

00:32:38.100 block to try and avoid being attacked, a live stream will just get you exposed.

00:32:44.240 That's how much things have kind of escalated.

00:32:47.600 But I think we do have a couple of rumble rants here, or at least one that came in. 0.62

00:32:53.040 And we got men walk away saying Antifa and BLM are the brown shirts of fascist Democrats.

00:33:00.400 Indeed, man.

00:33:02.140 Indeed.

00:33:03.240 What do we got?

00:33:04.100 We can grab maybe a couple of chats here before we raid our good friend Russell Brand.

00:33:08.900 And let's see.

00:33:11.460 Let's see. 1.00

00:33:12.380 Brojack says, well, you always dress like a homeless male prostitute. 1.00

00:33:15.160 Hard to not pick you out of the crowd. 0.99

00:33:17.700 Are you talking about me?

00:33:20.520 Maybe.

00:33:20.960 Anyway, my friends, we're going to let's let's get that raid for our friend Russell Brand

00:33:27.520 here.

00:33:28.980 What does he got going on?

00:33:30.100 He says, while you're watching, this could spark World War Three.

00:33:34.420 It's crazy news.

00:33:35.220 What's going on with India and Pakistan, my friends. 1.00

00:33:37.600 So smash that like button. 0.97

00:33:39.160 Not because of India and Pakistan, but just because smash the like button. 0.94

00:35:50.320 So if everybody who watched this show right now shared the show

00:35:53.260 and came and watched Timcast IRL, we would have the number one show in the country.

00:35:58.780 And I'll give one shout-out, Stephen Crowder, on average, number one.

00:36:03.740 However, when these, you know, they were the IRL streamers, I got no beef.

00:36:08.940 But like iShowSpeed, Kai Sinet, these guys dominate.

00:36:12.920 And mad respect for creating entertaining content.

00:36:15.600 I do.

00:36:16.440 I really respect that.

00:36:17.560 We are talking about news, changing the world, war.
