00:03:16.560 reinventing El Salvador. Now, El Salvador is a small country, right? About as many people live

00:03:21.880 there as Jews died in the Holocaust, they say. That's literally what they say. About six million

00:03:26.160 people, exactly. It's true. It's a small number comparatively to a large country, right?

00:03:34.360 Meaning, theoretically, you could wipe the whole population out and it wouldn't really

00:03:37.520 be significant to the rest of the world. So why is this country so important? Why is Trump friends

00:03:42.280 with this leader? Why is this place so important to billionaires, millionaires, and the world's elite?

00:03:52.860 is going to be held in San Salvador. Why are the people there seeing El Salvador such a significant

00:05:15.620 years ago, by the way. It was the capital of crime. Now, today, it's the safest country in all

00:05:22.000 Central South and North America, and all the Americas, the safest country, lowest homicide rate,

00:05:27.260 much safer than the United States. How did that happen? Well, we could talk about that. That's what

00:05:31.340 I want to talk about. It happened because of authoritarianism, because of a dictator who cared

00:05:39.500 less about looking good to the media and more about doing what's right.

00:08:12.440 this down. That all sounds bad, right, to a Westerner. That all sounds evil. Because when

00:08:18.960 we think of dictators, we think of South American, Central American dictators. We think of Venezuela.
