The SAVE Act is one of the most popular pieces of legislation in modern history, but it's not getting any traction in Congress. Why is this happening? Is it because Democrats are blocking it? Or is it because they just don't get it?

00:00:00.000 Hi there, what can I help you find today?
00:00:01.980 I'm looking for a sporty vehicle with lots of interior space, especially for passengers.
00:00:06.600 What about the Kia K4 hatchback?

00:00:14.000 And if I'm thinking a bit bigger, you know, starting a family?
00:00:17.200 How about the Kia Sportage?
00:00:18.940 Wow, you really do have a Kia for everything.
00:00:20.940 Pretty much.
00:00:21.760 Find a Kia that's right for you and enjoy great lease or finance rates this spring.

00:00:27.640 Kia. Movement that inspires.
00:00:30.000 Political controversy right now is the SAVE Act. This is the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility
00:00:37.600 Act, which basically means federally, you will need an ID to vote. There's some other provisions
00:00:43.380 in there that we'll go through, but Democrats favor it, Republicans favor it, and independent
00:00:50.200 voters favor it. So the question is, with tremendous national support for voter ID,
00:00:56.000 why is the bill dead? And this is like many people to say, my friends, Congress is fake
00:01:02.520 and it's really demoralizing because I'll stress this again. The polls, even CNN is pointing out
00:01:08.500 the Democrat voter base wants there to be ID requirements. But for some reason, Democrat
00:01:15.220 politicians are obstructing this. Now there is a way to get through this bill. And it has to do
00:01:22.260 with nuking the filibuster. All right, I'll give you the quick version of the filibuster. Basically,
00:01:27.180 it means to like stop a thing, right? The filibuster used to be, I will stand up and I
00:01:33.920 will speak endlessly until everybody just goes home and the bill never gets passed.
00:01:38.320 And the talking filibuster was widely respected to a certain degree because you had to do some
00:01:43.580 work to try and put a stop to this bill you didn't want passed. Well, because everybody got tired of
00:01:49.180 these massive filibusters. The Senate basically said, we're going to do a new rule. Instead of
00:01:53.700 a talking filibuster, we're going to have a 60 vote threshold filibuster, meaning anybody can
00:01:58.160 just trigger it. And then you need 60 votes to pass the bill. That way, only the bills we really
00:02:03.620 want through will make it through. And anything that's controversial probably won't. The only
00:02:08.540 problem is now that we have tremendous support for the SAVE Act, it's still not getting support
00:02:13.100 from Democrats. The Republicans in control of the Senate have the opportunity to say,
00:02:17.600 We're changing the rules. And now there's no filibuster, a simple majority, 51 votes,
00:02:23.140 and this bill passes, but they're not doing it. They've shifted the conversation to instead of
00:02:29.080 nuking the filibuster, let's force a talking filibuster. Unfortunately, even with a talking
00:02:33.480 filibuster, Republicans are saying, we just don't have the votes. We can't get this done.
00:02:37.220 Now Trump is going nuclear. He is saying, if we do this past the save act, we win the midterms,
00:02:45.940 but the Republicans just don't care. Well, probably because it's all one big happy family
00:02:52.340 tree. So we call it the uni party and Trump ain't a part of that party. So John Thune,
00:02:57.300 who's supposed to be the one to make this happen says, you guys are wrong. We just don't have the
00:03:01.600 math. We don't have the support for this bill, even with Republicans. Well, Donald Trump has
00:03:06.600 issued a threat. He is saying, if you do not bring this bill to my desk, I will sign nothing
00:03:15.400 else. And that's a nuclear strike all the same. Donald Trump's telling the Republicans,
00:03:21.160 you ain't getting nothing done. I will sign nothing unless we get this. And he's right.
00:03:25.360 This is something the American people really want. Everyone agrees. And hey, don't just trust me on
00:03:30.340 this. I will show you the CNN segment breaking down. This is one of the most popular bills
00:03:36.380 ever presented. So I'm going to stress this once again to all of you. We are looking at right now,
00:03:42.980 one of the most popular bills ever to be entered into Congress in our modern history.
00:03:50.580 Answer me this, please. I implore you, liberals, conservatives, I largely know what you're
00:03:56.200 thinking, but liberals, independents, conservatives, comment below and tell me why it is you think
00:04:01.620 Democrats, despite their base wanting this bill, are blocking it. But let's jump into where we are
00:04:09.100 currently at with this law. Before we do, my friends, check out the new and improved

00:04:59.620 IRL Monday through Thursday at 10 PM to talk to us and our guests. I say it's tremendously worth
00:05:05.460 it. Well, here's the first story and I'll run through some headlines real quick to give you
00:05:10.000 a general understanding before we get into the bulk of the SAVE Act. John Thune quashes Trump
00:05:16.780 push to reform the filibuster for the SAVE Act, basically saying it's not going to happen. And
00:05:22.060 people are pissed. Now there's a lot of liberal pundits that are like, but this is the right thing
00:05:27.080 to do because voter ID is racist. But when you look at the core voter base, everyone, and boy,
00:05:33.680 I mean, everyone supports this bill. To be fair, it's 71% of Democrats, but independents and
00:05:39.780 Republicans are basically at 90%. So when you look at the raw numbers, it's like 85% of this
00:05:45.420 country are in favor of this. Now, first, before I show you all the core details, Trump's arguments
00:05:50.780 and what the counters are, let me explain to you what the SAVE Act actually is.
00:05:55.640 From Grok, the SAVE Act, Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, sometimes referred to as the
00:06:01.140 Save America Act in later versions, is a piece of U.S. legislation aimed at election integrity,
00:06:05.880 particularly regarding citizenship requirements for voting in federal elections.
00:06:08.860 Its primary purpose is to ensure that only U.S. citizens can register to vote by requiring
00:06:12.120 documentary proof of U.S. citizenship when someone applies to register or update their
00:06:15.840 registration for federal elections. It amends the National Voter Registration Act of 1993
00:06:19.860 to impose this mandate on states. It would require documentary proof of citizenship for
00:06:25.040 voter registration in federal elections. States cannot accept or process a registration application
00:06:28.960 without proof present at the time of application. This would be a passport, a real ID, a birth
00:06:33.520 certificate, military ID, naturalization certificate, or similar documents, other limited
00:06:38.320 options like certain tribal or American Indian cards. States must provide an alternative process
00:06:43.400 for applicants who lack the listed documents to submit other evidence as citizenship. I want to
00:06:49.160 stress this point. This has always been a principal reason why this is a popular bill. When they argue
00:06:55.040 that it means women won't be able to vote and black people won't be able to vote. None of that
00:06:59.680 is true. They actually provide alternative means to make sure if you are a citizen, but you lack
00:07:05.260 the ability to prove like you don't have an idea or something, they're going to make it. It may be
00:07:08.640 a little difficult, but we're going to get you there. We want election integrity. I think that's
00:07:12.960 a fair thing for any country to ask for. Some versions like 2026 add or modify elements such
00:07:19.660 as requiring a photo ID to vote in person, directing states to submit voter rolls to DHS,
00:07:25.580 ongoing voter roll maintenance to remove non-citizens. Again, I want to stress this.
00:07:30.300 This is about registration. They are making it seem like when you show up to the polling station
00:07:36.220 to vote, they're going to say, please show me your ID. They're saying when you register,
00:07:41.360 which means many states are still going to allow people to walk into a voting booth without proving
00:07:45.620 who they are. So I stress this. This is not even the most egregious of bills that they could
00:07:51.120 present. Grock, however, gives us the debate saying supporters argue it's common sense election
00:07:56.800 security to prevent non-citizen voting already illegal under federal law and strengthen
00:08:01.760 verification beyond self-attestation on registration forms. Critics contend it creates
00:08:08.300 unnecessary barriers as non-citizen voting is extremely rare. They note that millions of
00:08:12.400 eligible citizens lack easy access to required documents, and it could disrupt registration
00:08:16.260 drives, online mail options, and disproportionately affect groups like the elderly and young voters.
00:08:21.420 The bill has passed the House multiple times in 24, 25, and 26. As of early 26, versions continue
00:08:28.820 to be pushed. For the most current official text, you can go to congress.gov. Indeed, we can.
00:08:33.800 So where are we right now, my friends? Donald Trump has dropped the bomb. He said,
00:08:38.660 this is our number one priority. It must get done. According to Politico, President Donald
00:08:45.640 Trump told House Republicans Monday to pass a major partisan elections bill, a third time with
00:08:50.280 new provisions, saying it should be the GOP's number one priority ahead of midterm elections.
00:08:55.180 It will guarantee the midterms. Trump told lawmakers gathered his golf resort. If you don't
00:09:00.560 get it, big trouble, my opinion. If you don't get it, big trouble. The president spent 13 minutes
00:09:06.540 at the close of a nearly hour-long address, making crystal clear he expects Speaker Mike Johnson
00:09:10.740 and other top leaders to meet his demands. The House has already passed two versions of what
00:09:15.700 is now called the Save America Act. But Trump asked the gathered lawmakers to add in provisions
00:09:21.060 curbing male voting and targeting transgender rights, even if it means abandoning the remainder
00:09:26.760 of their legislative agenda. Let's go for the gold, he said. It's actually a matter in a serious way
00:09:32.100 of national survival. We can't have these elections going on like this anymore.
00:09:35.920 The already passed version of the Save America Act is awaiting a Senate vote.
00:09:39.560 Majority Leader John Thune has committed to calling it up, but is certain to be blocked
00:09:43.380 by Democrats under the chamber's 60 vote filibuster threshold. Some conservatives with
00:09:48.000 Trump's backing are looking to sidestep that obstacle with a talking filibuster that would
00:09:52.280 force Democrats to hold the floor. That is not correct. And once again, I tell you, this bill
00:09:57.280 is not going to pass for this reason. The real argument being made by prominent conservatives
00:10:01.300 is that they should nuke the filibuster entirely and just change the rules to say
00:10:05.600 a simple majority passes this. What they're arguing now in the media is the controlled
00:10:11.600 opposition, as it were, a talking filibuster. Still allow it, but make Democrats speak out.
00:10:17.240 It may actually get to this point. So it looks like the process was legitimate.
00:10:22.580 John Thune may say, okay, fine, we're nuking the filibuster. You got to do a talking filibuster.
00:10:26.720 and then you get two Democrats that just talk for six hours each, and then the bill is dead.
00:10:31.920 Maybe not six hours each, but you get the point. They'll talk for a long time.
00:10:35.360 Quote, they have to get it done, he said to the Senate. If it takes you six months,
00:10:40.200 I'm for not approving anything. I don't think we should approve anything until this is approved.
00:10:46.340 He later said in a news conference that certain things will take place while the bill is being
00:10:49.600 debated. Trump also endorsed a push by some House Republicans, House hardliners, to pass the must,
00:10:56.080 to attach a must pass spy powers extension to the SAVE Act. Oh, here we go. The only way the SAVE
00:11:02.140 Act is getting passed is if you put in like $10 billion for the military industrial complex,
00:11:07.060 Ukraine, Israel, or otherwise. Taiwan gets 10,000 more troops and Israel gets 2 billion more dollars.
00:11:12.800 You know what? You slide those things in there, maybe they'll pass the SAVE Act.
00:11:16.120 But the question is, is this a partisan effort? Are Republicans simply trying to steal power as
00:11:23.240 they framed it in the media with Trump saying, we will win the midterms if we get this bill passed.
00:11:29.040 Well, that may be my friends, but when you take a look at the data, even CNN has to admit it.
00:11:34.900 Here's the report. Okay. What's the racial breakdown on this, right? Because I think a
00:11:38.300 lot of people make the argument that people of color, non-white Americans have a harder time
00:11:42.720 procuring a photo ID to vote. But even here, take a look here, favorite photo ID to vote.
00:11:47.060 85 percent of white people favorite 82 percent of latino 76 percent of black americans favorite
00:11:53.460 so the bottom line is this voter id is not controversial in this country a photo id to
00:11:59.600 vote is not controversial in this country it is not controversial by party and it is not
00:12:04.160 controversial by race the vast majority of americans agree with nikki minaj that in fact
00:12:09.060 you should have a photo id to be able to vote they agree with nikki minaj well that's uh one
00:12:16.280 way to put it. Um, but it's true. It's true. Uh, I, I, I assume most of you that are watching
00:12:21.220 this, some of you may be liberals. You're saying, yeah, you should have an ID to vote. That's
00:12:26.640 surprising. You know, the other day, uh, actually the other day, but this is like a week and a half
00:12:30.240 ago. I was talking to a friend of mine. She's a liberal. She's all right though. Regular people
00:12:34.820 are regular people. And that's always allowed, right? It's just the weird online personalities.
00:12:38.760 And, uh, this was of course, one of the big debates that we had seen on TV as the news is
00:12:43.380 playing and she asked me about it, like, what's the controversy? And I said, honestly, I don't
00:12:48.500 know. I mean, we can make up all sorts of reasons why Democrats are blocking this, but the truth is
00:12:52.740 most people believe you should have an ID to vote. And she was like, wait, wait, that's what the
00:12:56.980 SAVE Act is about? And I said, yeah, it would require proof of citizenship to register. So
00:13:00.900 basically an ID. When you're registering to vote, you got to show an ID. And the funny thing is most
00:13:05.240 people are doing it at the DMV where they already have their IDs. So let me just, let me just say
00:13:10.180 this again for you guys. The SAVE Act requires when you are registering to vote to prove you're
00:13:15.680 a citizen. Okay, when you are getting your ID, you do that already. This is why it's the stupidest
00:13:21.640 thing imaginable and largely feels like a distraction. Now, I do understand that a lot
00:13:25.060 of states want to impose you need an ID to vote at the time, but this is about registration.
00:13:29.580 So, you go to the DMV. You're getting your driver's license. You bring a piece of mail,
00:13:34.940 maybe a couple credit cards, a birth certificate, and your social security card. And you say,
00:13:38.580 I'm getting my ID. And then maybe you pass your driving test or you're already dead. Maybe you
00:13:42.180 moved to new state. So you need to bring these documents with you. And then they say, okay,
00:13:45.600 you have sufficiently proven who you are. You then say, I'm going to check the box to register
00:13:51.000 to vote. You've already got all of this stuff. Like you need a real ID to register. Yeah,
00:13:56.420 they're handing it to you at the DMV or, you know, what else? The Motor Vehicle Commission,
00:14:01.980 the MVC, whatever state you're in, you weirdo commonwealth people. You go to your DMV or MVC,
00:14:07.300 or whatever it is you guys call it. They hand you your ID, be like, does this prove I'm a citizen?
00:14:10.940 They go, it does. So I didn't need to bring anything extra. No, you didn't. You already
00:14:14.900 had these requirements. Again, this is not a controversial bill. So for the life of me,
00:14:20.140 I don't understand why Democrats are blocking it at all. This should be a rubber stamp with
00:14:25.180 everyone being like, okay, when you get your ID, this already happens. However, I think this may
00:14:32.380 be actually about some potentially untoward activities. Now, Donald Trump's threatening
00:14:38.160 to not sign any bills until Congress approves the SAVE Act. But I know what y'all are saying.
00:14:46.260 And I know what y'all are saying. And I have my thoughts and I have my theories. And I will say
00:14:50.340 this. While it is not controversial among the voter base, with no proof of citizenship requirement
00:14:59.180 for voter registration. What are the Democrats talking about doing? They're talking about
00:15:04.240 street level voter drive initiatives. They're talking about going to people who otherwise are
00:15:09.200 disinterested in voting and getting them to register. And then with universal mail-in voting,
00:15:13.920 which of course is still all over this country, they're going to mail a ballot to your house.
00:15:18.920 Now I'm not going to go ahead and assume at that point, individuals are committing fraud with these
00:15:23.020 mail-in votes. Certainly it's possible there is ballot harvesting, but outside of any argument
00:15:27.380 you might make about fraud, I'm going to put it like this. With an ID requirement to register to
00:15:33.300 vote, it means that you're only going to get real voters to register. Let me go back to the DMV
00:15:39.360 argument I'm making. What I'm saying is that for individuals who want to register, you can just do
00:15:44.460 it at the DMV. That's what I did, right? And you're already got all your documents there. So it
00:15:48.220 certainly is not difficult for anybody just to do. Democrats are arguing that they want to go to
00:15:52.920 various places and do voter drives, like voter in the park, which is a thing they actually did,
00:15:56.420 and go to nursing homes and make sure people are registered and they don't want to have to verify
00:16:01.360 with any kind of authority figure on elections. They want to be able to hand you the form. You
00:16:06.340 fill it out. They mail it in. You're done. The mail-in vote comes. Then they can go to these
00:16:10.720 nursing homes. They can go to these community centers. They can take these mail-in votes
00:16:13.820 and ballot harvest. Ballot harvesting is not illegal. Many jurisdictions allow it. Some it's
00:16:21.020 illegal. Some it's restricted and some it's totally and completely legal. For those that
00:16:25.980 aren't familiar with ballot harvesting, the way it works is activists will go door to door and they
00:16:30.040 will say, hand me your ballot. I'll drop it off for you. This is a system bias in favor of urban
00:16:37.460 environments, of course, which skew democratic. So put it like this. This is why Democrats at the
00:16:41.720 political level oppose it and why regular people are for it. Regular people are like, yeah, it's
00:16:45.160 fine. But think about it this way. There is a building in New York city with 300 units. It's a
00:16:50.700 massive building, 300 units. Let's say it's 30 floors and each floor has 10 units, big wide
00:16:56.600 building, right? Well, you're an activist working for the Democratic Party and you want to ballot
00:17:00.640 harvest. Many people are going to forget to turn their ballots in, or maybe they didn't even fill
00:17:04.060 it out. So you knock on the door. They answer and they say, how can I help you? And say, did you
00:17:08.220 receive your mail-in ballot? And they go, oh yeah, I think I got it right here. You say, if you fill
00:17:11.520 it out right now, I'll bring it back for you. Okay. What's the racial breakdown on this, right?
00:17:14.800 Because I think a lot of people make the argument. Thank you for the jump scare, X. I hope everyone
00:17:18.880 enjoys that. Harry Enten, he's a scary guy. That's annoying when Twitter does that. Anyway,
00:17:24.220 the point I'm making, the activist knocks on the door and says, did you receive your ballot? They
00:17:27.460 say, yes, I did. And then the guy says, oh, I got it right here. It's like, hey, fill it out. I'll
00:17:31.980 bring it for you. There's a few different scenarios. The guy says, yeah, sure. Okay.
00:17:34.880 He fills it out and says, how do I do it? And the guy says, you just vote right here. Then he signs
00:17:38.380 it, wraps it up, perfectly legitimate vote, hands it to that fine gentleman who puts it in his bag
00:17:44.020 and says, thank you, sir. I'll make sure it's delivered appropriately. In places where that's
00:17:47.700 allowed. That's totally normal. He then spins around 180 degrees, knocks on the door behind
00:17:52.880 him. It's another lady. That's two votes. Now let's imagine every single person is like,
00:17:58.180 I would very much like to legitimately vote and they all do. And thanks to the fine efforts of
00:18:01.900 these activists, it was a legitimate voter drive process. Now take a look at the rural areas where
00:18:06.380 people tend to be Republican and conservative. The houses are much further apart. A guy gets
00:18:10.540 in his car, drives it to the property, gets out of his car, knocks on the door. And the guy says,
00:18:14.160 can I help you? And says, I'm here to collect your ballot. I want, you know, we're doing ballot
00:18:18.380 harvesting. And the guy at the house says, oh, yeah, absolutely. I didn't fill it out yet. Fills
00:18:22.380 it out and hands it to the guy. Mathematically, this system favors Democrats and that's why they
00:18:27.440 want it. Because even if you are not assuming any kind of fraud, Democrats are going to be able to
00:18:32.080 acquire maybe, look, you've got 300 units. Each unit's got a man and a woman and maybe some adult
00:18:37.480 kids who are like in college or whatever. So you could be looking at 2.5 ballots per door you knock
00:18:42.320 on. Now let's be real. Not every person is going to want to vote or even answer their door. So
00:18:46.960 let's say you've got 300 units. On average, there's two voting individuals per unit.
00:18:53.200 And let's say a third of them. So they go in and they get 200 ballots in what? A half an hour to
00:18:59.640 an hour. Now imagine you're in a rural area and you're going car, you're driving in your car,
00:19:03.800 house to house. What are you going to get? 12? The system mathematically will favor
00:19:08.460 population density. But then of course we can take a look at things that don't really happen
00:19:13.220 in Republican districts. And that is you're going to get individuals who shouldn't vote.
00:19:17.780 You are going to get duplicate votes and you're not going to be able to track whether or not an
00:19:21.580 individual actually voted himself. There's a big controversy in 2020 where an individual who was
00:19:26.420 from Tennessee and had moved to Arizona had voted in Tennessee, despite going to college in Arizona.
00:19:32.080 And he said on the news, I did not do this. Someone cast that ballot in my name,
00:19:37.580 which brings us to the next controversial and untoward activities that we can see from not
00:19:44.700 tracking who is voting properly. An activist knocks on a door. There's a woman. He says,
00:19:49.980 did you vote? She says, no, but I have my ballots right here. He says, why don't you fill out the
00:19:54.900 ballot and I'll send it in for you. And she says, okay, I'll do that. I also have a couple ballots
00:20:00.100 for my kids. Maybe you fill those out, you know, right? Who was the lady on the view who claimed
00:20:08.440 that she filled out the ballot for her son and sent it in, which is voter fraud. And so the thing
00:20:13.620 is when they argue that illegal immigrants aren't voting and there's very rare fraud. Well,
00:20:19.600 if there's a guy named John Smith and he doesn't vote, he doesn't care, but his ballot gets
00:20:25.600 submitted with a signature that looks kind of weird, but it's approved anyway. Is he going to
00:20:30.080 go seek out to find out whether or not he voted? Indeed, he's not because he didn't. So we won't
00:20:34.800 check any databases to see that he did. In 2020, many people did, and they found that they had
00:20:38.380 voted despite not being in these areas. I am not saying it's widespread, but we saw several
00:20:41.980 instances of this. Again, this is where people begin to accuse Democrats of untoward behavior
00:20:47.540 and wanting voter fraud. While I certainly think there's a potential for that, and I certainly
00:20:51.680 think it has happened, the real issue is not a question of fraud. It's a question of ease of
00:20:58.500 access for people who otherwise would not vote, that it heavily favors dense population centers.
00:21:04.640 So ask yourself this, should we create an electoral system that favors people based on the way,
00:21:11.980 the place in which they live, as opposed to their moral worth as an individual?
00:21:17.620 I think the answer is no. I think the issue should be, we want to make sure that polling
00:21:23.840 locations in big cities and dense areas have enough space so that people don't leave due to
00:21:29.660 long lines. So you can argue the inverse. If you live in a rural area and there's a polling location,
00:21:34.300 you do go to drive a little bit further, but there's not going to be a big long line because
00:21:37.840 there's just less people. If you live in Manhattan and they only set up a few of these stations,
00:21:41.680 big long lines, you're going to leave and your vote's not going to get counted because you don't
00:21:44.140 want to stand in line. I think it's fair to say we balance that and it's up to the state or the
00:21:49.620 city to make sure they have enough polling locations for population density. I think it's
00:21:52.900 fair to say for rural areas, all the same. That being said, ballot harvesting will always heavily
00:21:59.620 favor dense urban populations in which Democrats at a political level know if they lose access to
00:22:06.040 ballot harvesting again, which is not fraudulent in most places, or at least in a large amount of
00:22:10.120 places, they are going to lose elections. So what is Trump saying? You pass this and you require
00:22:15.780 people to have an ID to register and we are going to win the midterms. You know why?
00:22:19.360 When the Democrats say it's about creating barriers, the Republicans say, no, no, it's
00:22:24.460 about integrity, but I don't care to play these games. Barriers are absolutely a component of
00:22:28.920 this. Now it's not about black people or women or whatever. It's about just the generally
00:22:33.680 disinterested. This country would be a lot better off if only the people who are sure and wanted to
00:22:41.440 vote did. And that includes progressives. I'm not saying we exclude them. I'm saying there are many
00:22:45.460 people in big cities that literally don't care and don't want to vote and don't know anything
00:22:50.820 about this stuff that only cast a ballot because a ballot harvester came and said, I'll drop that
00:22:56.160 off for you. If these individuals are not interested in doing it, I am fine with leaving
00:23:00.800 them out of the vote count and leaving the management of this country to only those who
00:23:05.320 are invested enough to decide to vote. And I think that's fair. As for the rest of the Democrats,
00:23:11.800 Well, if you want to win power, you want to win power.
00:23:14.040 And that's the principal reason why, at least in my opinion, despite the fact that voters
00:23:18.880 absolutely want voter ID, Democrats still oppose it because there's a difference between telling
00:23:25.620 the people, uh, uh, the difference between winning an election through advocacy and winning
00:23:31.320 election through just math.
00:23:33.920 And I think unfortunately for all of us, the Democrats are going to keep playing this game
00:23:38.300 because it works for them.
00:23:40.980 I'm not saying everything's fair, Republicans are perfect, but I tell you, this is why Democrats
00:23:45.420 are playing the game. Now, as to why John Thune is sabotaging this, I think it's because they know
00:23:51.200 it's one big game. And I believe that the establishment Republicans and Democrats live
00:23:55.360 in a world where they say, you, dear viewer, are too stupid to make these decisions for yourselves,
00:24:00.240 so we're going to make the decisions for you. But we don't want you angry, so we're going to
00:24:05.460 pretend like you had to say the whole time. So when you go and cast your vote and the policy
00:24:10.440 that you want fails, you say, I guess that's democracy. When in reality, the system, the game
00:24:17.180 was rigged from the start. So with that, my friends, I wish you good luck. There is a chance
00:24:22.700 to change all of this. There is a chance to turn this all around. The question is, will it be enough
00:24:27.860 with the will of the people? We'll see. The internet makes an interesting place where we
00:24:32.580 have the ability to talk to each other and decentralize this power and boy does that freak
00:24:35.980 out the powers that be. The military industrial complex, the liberal economic order, the powerful
00:24:40.120 elites, the wealthy, the billionaires, the millionaires, and the politically aligned and
00:24:44.960 well-connected old money individuals. Regular people are standing up and speaking up and they
00:24:50.000 will do what they can to subvert it and they've been successful with it. But maybe, just maybe,
00:24:54.260 we'll get some victories here and there and this could be one of them. Smash the like button my
