The Culture War - Tim Pool - LA Riots GOING Nationwide, Trump Preps INSURRECTION ACT, CIVIL WAR Or Summer Of Love ft. Julio Rosas

00:00:00.000 We've got here in America, we don't do kings, a call for a massive escalation of the conflict.

00:00:08.080 We've got tweets saying ice out of San Antonio. We've got ice out of NYC. These protests are

00:00:16.060 being planned for right now. They are preparing to launch mass riots like we saw in L.A. across

00:00:23.820 this country, giving people instruction. And then we have on the 14th of June, the No Kings 0.73

00:00:32.200 protest. Here's a question for you. In this map for No Kings, it's an anti-Trump, anti-American

00:00:39.940 protest. How do they organize all these? All of these different rallies. Now, first, what

00:00:46.820 I'll say is many of these rallies, even in Toronto, there's no way it's Toronto. It is. Wow.

00:00:52.240 That's Canada. They're not really organizing these protests. They're telling you they're

00:00:57.480 planning on doing it and they've decided on a location for where it should start. They're

00:01:01.740 hoping that if people just see this, they'll choose to show up. But who is supplying these

00:01:07.120 organizations with the resources to launch such a coordinated effort? Because I got to tell

00:01:11.020 you this, we do events here at Timcast. It is not easy to organize one, let alone six official

00:01:19.100 events and a thousand plus ancillary events. This takes mass resources. This is, oh, it's

00:01:25.700 all over Canada. Wow. Canada's got a ton, actually. Oh, I'm sorry. That's just Maine. But there

00:01:30.260 are a bunch in Canada. Oh, is it just Maine? Oh, my bad. I thought that was New Brunswick.

00:01:36.580 You got a couple in Canada. Sure, fine. Oh, here's on the border. How fun. International 0.94

00:01:41.540 Falls, Minnesota. This is being prepared. This is being organized. So we're going to be joined,

00:01:47.900 my friends, by Julio Rosas. He's been on the ground, actually reporting on his riots in Los

00:01:54.660 Angeles. Let's bring him in now. See if we can get all of this rolling. And loading,

00:02:03.060 currently loading. Sources loading, video loading. I believe Julio is, how's it going, man? Can you hear

00:02:10.440 me? I can hear you. Hey, so you're currently on the ground at the L.A. riots. You're in a hotel or

00:02:17.980 something, right? Yeah, this isn't it. But yeah, man, I got in yesterday. I was actually, funny

00:02:26.360 enough, I was on vacation in Mexico trying to get in some R&R before riot season truly kicked off. But

00:02:33.640 I guess I'm a little rusty given that it's been four years since the last riot I actually, the last

00:02:40.340 true riot I fully covered. So, well, where, do you want to say where in Mexico you were? Or like,

00:02:45.140 were you close to L.A.? No, no. It wasn't like Mexico City to where I could just fly directly. It was a

00:02:53.160 whole, it was a whole process. But no, it was, it's just interesting because obviously, you know,

00:02:59.640 these riots are happening in part because the crackdown on immigration. And it's just funny 0.99

00:03:05.780 seeing Mexican flags in Los Angeles being waved over burning cars. But what I always like to say

00:03:12.300 is like, you couldn't pull that in Mexico City. I mean, could you imagine if a bunch of Americans

00:03:17.800 showed up and were in the main plaza burning cars and waving American flags? The Mexican government

00:03:24.260 would have cracked down that on. It's so hard it'd be, people would be whining about the Geneva

00:03:27.880 conventions. I'm pretty sure Mexicans would crack down on you. Just people who live there would 1.00

00:03:33.080 probably come up and not tolerate that. No, no. They actually, I mean, for all of its faults,

00:03:40.340 Mexicans in Mexico have a lot of pride. Well, so this has been, it was massive. I mean,

00:03:45.980 this is several days long. They're saying there's going to be more riots tonight. They're planning

00:03:49.760 other cities to have big riots. There's talk of massive protests organized across the country for,

00:03:54.340 I believe, like a week from now. I'm curious, we've seen a lot of these videos of people waving

00:04:00.280 Mexican flags, but who are these people? Are they, I mean, are you able to discern whether or not these

00:04:06.520 people are actually Mexican nationals, or are they just Americans support Mexico?

00:04:11.760 I think, I mean, it's hard to say, but I just kind of knowing the culture a little bit more. I think a lot

00:04:19.060 of it is just like people, like American citizens who, who's, who's mom or dad are, you were originally

00:04:27.580 from Mexico, right? Or, you know, maybe, maybe a grandfather in particular, maybe their immediate

00:04:32.720 family member is illegal. I mean, it's, it is this weird thing and I don't want to get too much into

00:04:37.820 the, I mean, I kind of understand where they're coming from in terms of like, okay, you are,

00:04:44.740 you are American, right? Like I am where I was born here, raised here. Uh, but obviously we took

00:04:49.560 different paths, right? Cause there's no way I'm going to go riot and wave a Mexican flag in the 0.91

00:04:54.100 city. I mean, the United States is my country. Uh, but to them, they, they have, they have this

00:04:59.320 attachment, um, because of this family member, let's say, and they think, well, we do all this

00:05:05.600 stuff. It's racism, you know, white supremacy, all, you know, all this stuff, you know, colonialism,

00:05:10.420 you know, Los Angeles was part of Mexico at one point. And so for them, it's, it's, it's like,

00:05:15.140 we're, it's basically, it's their version of like return, right. You know, return to tradition,

00:05:19.380 return to how things were, uh, which is funny because, you know, they can have that national

00:05:23.840 pride, but even though they're not necessarily, like I said, from Mexico directly, but, um, it's,

00:05:30.000 it is, it is just speaking for myself. It is, it is kind of a interesting and at times a weird

00:05:36.040 dynamic, but you have to choose, you, you have to choose. And for me, and you know, speaking for

00:05:40.860 myself, I, yes, I, I obviously I know my name. I know what I look like, but the United States is

00:05:47.120 my country. Um, I, I, I like Mexico. I mean, like I said, I was just there on vacation. There's a lot

00:05:52.900 of things I like about it, but my loyalty and the country that I want to do, you know, best number,

00:05:59.180 you know, for the first is the United States. And obviously I want Mexico to succeed as well,

00:06:03.420 uh, because it's, it's better for both of us. Uh, but that, that's, that's why it's frustrating

00:06:08.920 to see because even talking to the Mexicans in Mexico saying, Hey, I'm going to go to Los Angeles

00:06:14.000 to, to, to, to cover this. A lot of them were actually saying, yeah, we understand why Trump

00:06:19.260 wants to do that. Like wants to deport people. It was like, he has to, he has to do what's best

00:06:23.180 for his country. Um, so there is, I mean, he's not as unpopular as, as you might think in Mexico,

00:06:30.660 although obviously I would say the majority is, but it's not an overwhelming majority I would

00:06:35.160 hazard. Yeah. I think, uh, I was actually just expressing, uh, similarly when you have, uh,

00:06:43.020 amnesty, when you allow people to come here illegally, they'll have kids. Those kids are 0.63

00:06:48.340 born in California. They are told, uh, a lot of them are told these leftist ideologies. They blame

00:06:55.240 white people for everything. They're told, you know, this used to be Mexico until it was stolen 0.94

00:06:59.140 from us in a war. We were routed, they invaded, and it's actually our land. You grow up with this. 0.88

00:07:05.640 You grow up with Mexican flags in your house. You grow up being told of your family's heritage in

00:07:10.720 Mexico. You go vacation to see your grandparents in Mexico. And then Donald Trump comes in and says,

00:07:16.760 illegal immigrants can't be here. And what does that mean? It could be your parents. It could be 1.00

00:07:22.100 your cousin. It could be your next door neighbor. Trump is correct. This is America with American 0.71

00:07:27.880 borders, but for the individual interests of these people who are Americans, they're thinking,

00:07:33.600 I don't know or care. I want what's best for me and my family. And my family are not Americans. 0.99

00:07:38.620 So I'm not going to let you do this. You end up seeing them flying American flags. Now,

00:07:42.380 the question I guess is at what point is this insurrection and invasion and how, how, how do you

00:07:48.440 deal with it? I mean, the democratic governors are saying, don't do anything. Let me, let me ask you

00:07:53.500 this actually. Uh, in your experience being on the ground, how would you rate the performance of the

00:07:58.240 LAPD and the California state highway patrol or the state police? I mean, they're doing, they're

00:08:05.180 doing the best they can. The problem is, is that they're not, you can, you can have as many personal

00:08:10.100 as you, as, as you, as you want in situations like this. It's if they're unable to actually

00:08:15.840 confront the rioters in any serious way. I mean, the whole reason why that we're in what day three,

00:08:22.300 day four into this is because initially LAPD didn't respond to the riders that are outside the

00:08:29.340 federal holding facility, which is exactly what happened in Portland. The reason why Portland in

00:08:34.220 2020 went on for so long at the federal courthouse is because it was just the federal agents and the

00:08:39.300 personnel that they had to bring in because Portland police was, was forbidden from even talking with

00:08:44.600 the feds. Um, and it wasn't until they were finally able to cooperate that the riots at the federal

00:08:50.880 courthouse finally stopped. So that's why what's happening right now is such a, it's such deja vu where

00:08:57.600 it's literally like, sure, it's a different issue, but it's the same thing where Trump is cracking down

00:09:02.180 and the sanctuary city mayors and Democrat, you know, governors, they're not going to want to

00:09:06.140 cooperate. They, they want to, you know, borderline interfere with this. And that's just only going

00:09:12.140 to rile up the people more because while they might not like, let's say Kieran Bass or, or, or Newsom,

00:09:17.660 they're at least being provided kind of that cover from their local leaders. And, and, and that does

00:09:23.440 matter to us, to a certain extent, right? That will have an impact. Um, and then of course you have

00:09:28.220 like the local, like you have city council members and saying, we need to escalate our tactics and do all

00:09:32.760 it. So I, I think I, I, it's going to get worse before it gets better, I think. And, and, and the

00:09:38.000 problem with Los Angeles and Los Angeles County as a whole with, with this large population that's

00:09:42.500 sympathetic to the, to the illegal immigrants is that, um, you can, you can, you can secure the

00:09:48.560 downtown area, but then when something pops up in Santa Monica or Glendale or Burbank or, you know,

00:09:53.680 Compton, right. I mean, Compton was, was kind of an area that got, so you need a, unless you're

00:09:58.900 going to play whack-a-mole, which is only going to let this go on longer, you're going to need a

00:10:04.200 massive military response. And so I know the reported number is 500 Marines in addition to

00:10:09.680 the Guardsmen, but, but I think it's going to, I think it's going to take a few more units from,

00:10:14.760 uh, the first Marine division to, to foot it. Cause again, I mean, LA is just so massive.

00:10:20.640 Well, you called it, uh, you said getting right, you were on vacation before the start of riot season.

00:10:24.240 So is this, do you, do you see this as turning into summer of love 2.0?

00:10:30.400 I mean, I, I, if you were to ask me two weeks ago, I'd say, uh, I, I don't know, maybe, but

00:10:35.660 with today, you know, today and, and seeing the reaction from, again, the local leaders who are

00:10:42.640 egging this on, um, and, and trying to fight the Trump administration to, you know, um, I, I think

00:10:49.320 this does has the potential to, to kind of get back up to that level of chaotic, you know, chaotic

00:10:54.880 behavior. Um, I, but you know, for example, I saw that there's supposed to, there's supposed to be

00:10:58.900 a rally today in Tampa, Florida. That's not going to go anywhere. I mean, that's, if something gets

00:11:03.860 out of control, that's going to be shut down within, within, you know, within the first hour,

00:11:07.160 right?

00:11:07.300 That's a mega country.

00:11:08.360 Um, but, but, but, you know, there's Chicago, there's Portland and New York city was, was popping

00:11:12.840 off over the weekend too. So, I mean, this is how, and this is how it was. And that's why,

00:11:17.280 that's why I took the risk of going to Mexico because up until this point, the only time where

00:11:21.500 it was kind of like a chaotic situation was during the ice operation. But then once the

00:11:26.880 agents left, people, people didn't go to the, you know, go to the jail or go to the, you know,

00:11:31.780 the, the, the federal courthouse or whatever, they, they, they just went home. So, so that's

00:11:36.400 why it's significant that Los Angeles, they, they kept the, the rioters kept the momentum

00:11:41.500 going. And then of course the response, which then makes them mad. And you know, it, it just,

00:11:46.500 it just spirals out of control to where now it's just like, we're just going to attack

00:11:49.660 cops like LAPD, even though they initially had, even though they weren't the initial

00:11:53.360 targets.

00:11:54.420 We we've, we've seen a bunch of videos. Actually, there was one viral video where

00:11:57.420 ICE was performing a raid, I think somewhere in Massachusetts and a bunch of protesters

00:12:02.080 and rioters come out and start fighting with cops. So before Trump got elected, I'd been

00:12:07.320 talking about, uh, you know, the period that we're in this, it's, it's called the civil

00:12:11.020 strife period. The civil rights movement was a civil strife period. Sometimes these things

00:12:16.760 turn into civil wars. I don't see an immediate in the short term, this becomes something like

00:12:21.840 that, but we are starting to see the bubbling up of this unrest and these protests, this

00:12:27.240 fighting with cops. And I had asked many Democrats, do you think Donald Trump will use the military

00:12:31.340 to enforce, uh, deportations? Of course they all said, yes, it was one of their talking points.

00:12:37.280 Trump's a fascist. He's going to send in the military and violate the law. And I said, okay, 0.95

00:12:41.660 the question then is, do Democrats resist this or let Trump do it? And so what we're starting

00:12:48.740 to see now lends itself to the, I think the obvious possibility of escalation to some degree,

00:12:56.120 but either this turns into, I mean, I'm, I guess my question to you is based on what we've seen so

00:13:02.560 far in these other cities in LA, do you think the Trump administration is going to really escalate

00:13:10.760 this to use the military, to make sure these mass deportations happen?

00:13:16.280 Well, I, well, again, I wouldn't say it's, it's Trump escalated. I know that's how a lot of people

00:13:21.820 say, well, I mean, that's what, you know, Newsom and Bass, they're, they're all saying like, well,

00:13:25.280 he escalated it. None of this would be necessary if it wasn't for the rioters from Friday.

00:13:33.680 Correct. Fair point.

00:13:34.860 I, I, I, HSI, I mean, the, the White House and DHS have released the list of people that they were

00:13:41.400 targeting in that operation. And it was people that we don't want in our country just because

00:13:45.940 they shouldn't be here. Number one, but also number two, these are some, you know, you know,

00:13:48.940 these are the, these are not the very fine people. Right. So, you know, these, these are not,

00:13:55.340 these are not the, you know, some, I assume are good people. And so, but, but to them,

00:13:58.980 it doesn't matter. Right. It's, Oh, it's ice. It's a, you know, it's, it's, you know, the,

00:14:02.900 the Gestapo is here. We got to fight them. And that's why it's so stupid that, because right now,

00:14:08.500 yes. I mean, other people have been swept up in these raids. I'm not denying that, but the, 0.99

00:14:12.060 but the primary targets have been the criminals and foreign, you know, national security threats.

00:14:18.040 That has been the primary focus. And so, but they, they can't even wait. They can't even wait

00:14:22.700 for, for more people who are just here illegally to, to, you know, what, just like the moms and, 1.00

00:14:28.460 and, you know, the young children in, in, in, in bigger numbers, they just, they just automatically

00:14:33.680 just have to go to, all right, well, we're just going to start interfering and fighting. And so,

00:14:37.740 I mean, look, this has been building for a long time. And I would say with Los Angeles specifically,

00:14:41.540 again, because of the demographics, I mean, I was here in February when, when there were mass protests and it,

00:14:47.000 and it wasn't because of a big ice operation. It was just standard enforcement. And there was,

00:14:53.080 it was chaotic. I mean, the one-on-one back then was, was, was blocked. I was outside city hall with

00:14:57.520 this, with a high school walkout. And within 10 minutes of it starting, the kids start fighting

00:15:01.640 each other and the kid got stabbed. Whoa. Yeah. In front of city hall. So this, so, so with,

00:15:09.240 with Newsom and Bass saying, oh, we didn't have any problems until this operation. Yeah, you did.

00:15:15.640 You, you, you had, you had massive problems. You had, you had like a week's worth of protests before

00:15:20.560 this a couple months ago. So yeah, I think that's decided a little bit since that, or, you know,

00:15:25.420 before, before that, but they've, they've just been hyping themselves up. They've been building

00:15:30.140 themselves up for this moment. They've, they've been waiting for that opportunity to act. And they,

00:15:35.040 and they finally got it on Friday. Um, and I don't think it's going to let up anytime soon

00:15:39.320 because I mean, I just talked to a guy at ice today. I said, Hey, like, is this going to slow

00:15:43.680 anything down? Because obviously, you know, it can't interfere if you can't go out and grab people

00:15:47.820 because you've got a massive crowd there. But he said, no, the plan is to still move ahead. I mean,

00:15:51.680 we, I mean, Trump has the mandate to carry all these mass deportations. That's what most Americans

00:15:56.660 want. It's actually popular. It wasn't before. Um, and they can thank the Biden here. And I always say

00:16:04.020 the whole reason why we're in this mess is because of the Biden Harris administration.

00:16:07.260 Mass deportations would not have been popular if it wasn't for the four year border crisis that was

00:16:12.140 purposefully, you know, created. Yeah. So if anything, if anything, blame those two, blame those

00:16:17.880 two people. Yeah. I was watching some videos. I mean, with, with the fires on the, of the like

00:16:24.360 torching of the Waymo vehicles, the smashing of the police SUVs. I also saw a video of a guy

00:16:29.700 punching several cops in the face. Now I, I covered, uh, riots and civil unrest on the ground

00:16:35.840 in the United States. I'd never actually seen it get to this level. Certainly there were some wild

00:16:42.700 moments. They were de-arrests. Sometimes there were fights, but to see a video of a guy punching

00:16:48.900 several cops in the face directly and then running off, I was just like, Whoa. I mean, you've got

00:16:55.220 Democrats now at ICE facilities like, uh, uh, rep McIver. She's on video closed fist

00:17:01.460 punching a federal, uh, law enforcement office. I think it might've been ICE or HSI.

00:17:06.960 You've been covering this up for a long time. Am I wrong about this or does it seem like they're

00:17:12.240 more violent than they've been in the past several years? Well, I mean, I mean, yeah, especially

00:17:17.880 certainly since 2021, um, I would say, but, and, and I would even say that the rhetoric has, has

00:17:23.020 gotten worse in terms of, in terms of agging on the, the rioters saying that we need to do like,

00:17:29.560 we need to fight back even harder. Um, because I mean, you had, you had like a Los Angeles city

00:17:35.600 councilwoman the other day saying, if they're going to come in and escalate, we got to escalate.

00:17:40.160 Um, I mean, that's pretty direct. Right. And so, and I, and I, and I think it's just because

00:17:43.380 they know, they know that the Trump administration is not going to tolerate this stuff there. They

00:17:48.220 are actually going to act. And that's why it's significant that Trump activated the national

00:17:53.560 guard under his federal authority. He said, you know what, we're going to buy it. You know,

00:17:56.640 you knew some, you're not, you're, you're clearly not doing anything. So we're going to take action

00:18:00.720 that, you know, that it was a little bit of a slower response, uh, especially with democratic

00:18:04.880 governors back in 2020 to actually get things on it to actually, you know, as someone who was in

00:18:10.300 the military, especially in the reserves, which is what, uh, the, um, Marine Corps reserves, but

00:18:14.400 the national guard is, you know, reserves. I mean, that takes time. You can send out the order to

00:18:18.720 like, okay, we got it. We got to deploy, but you know, you got to call the guys in, you got to, you

00:18:22.260 got to get all your stuff ready. You got to get the orders. You got to get, you know, all these

00:18:26.880 plans and processes in place before you actually cross that line of departure. Um, and that's why,

00:18:32.420 um, in, in times like these, you got to have decisive action. You can't wait a day or two

00:18:39.500 because, because it takes a day or two for, for the reinforcements to actually come in.

00:18:44.360 I'm sorry. Are you saying that you think Trump was prepping the poll in the national guard

00:18:47.440 before like a day or two before they actually came down?

00:18:51.520 Well, that's what Holman was saying. He was saying, he was saying that we're one step ahead

00:18:54.820 of them. We're already calling in the national guard. Um, so I, I, I, I, and I think they learned

00:18:59.200 a lot from 2020, right? I mean, they, they, I mean, they were, they were in, they're in office

00:19:02.920 during that time. And so I think, I think the plans were, the plans were definitely in place to say,

00:19:06.860 okay, you know, with these operations and potential unrest, we got to make sure that

00:19:11.200 whichever state that these are happening in that we can quickly call it in. Now they are

00:19:15.760 kind of limited, um, under the current, under the current, uh, activation that they're under

00:19:21.740 because it's not an insurrection act, uh, deployment. Um, but it's still significant

00:19:26.100 because if you have the national guardsmen protect a federal facility that frees up police

00:19:32.120 officers who can do domestic operations, um, to, you know, uh, uh, get a better handle on,

00:19:39.780 on, on, on, on the unrest.

00:19:41.460 You know, I'm just thinking about, I'm thinking about the past decade plus, and you mentioned

00:19:46.860 how we have a riot season and I'm just like, man, I don't, I don't know. Was there a time

00:19:53.800 when we didn't have a riot season? Cause I'm, I feel like we did and it's become sport for

00:19:59.660 these people. It's, it's summer. It's time to go outside and fight with cops for some reason

00:20:03.800 and just join in whatever the cause may be. Cause the cause seems to be different. You know,

00:20:09.160 it just, it's just whatever ideologically left aligned cause. Um, so I'm just, I'm thinking

00:20:15.420 about the NATO protests. I'm thinking about, you know, BLM. Now we've got these ice protests

00:20:21.220 protests or the Palestine-Israel protests. And it seems like as long as it's summer and we can go

00:20:28.280 outside, people are starting to do this, but is this, is this the reality of where we're going

00:20:33.040 every summer? We can expect major cities to just have violence and firebombs.

00:20:39.080 Yeah. I mean, and even like, even in places like Chicago and New York, right. I mean, it doesn't,

00:20:44.040 it doesn't even take a controversial thing, right. Warranted or not there,

00:20:48.700 all you gotta have is a bunch of, you know, 200 youths show up at one, at one, at one spot and

00:20:57.020 start just doing, you know, spontaneous looting and, and everything. We see, we saw that in Chicago

00:21:02.120 earlier in the spring. Like it was like the first, it was the first nice Friday, um, of the spring and

00:21:08.640 a bunch of, uh, kids, you know, teenagers showed up and, and caused mayhem. Um, and, and the kid got

00:21:15.040 shot actually at that one. So, so, so yeah, I, that, that's why, that's why I always joke.

00:21:22.600 That's why I always joke whenever I see these videos of, of, of when we get to this time,

00:21:26.860 because like, yeah, I mean, like there, there's a reason why the college encampments, uh, last

00:21:31.860 year, there's a reason why they didn't start in December. Yeah. It started in April. It started in

00:21:37.100 mid April. So, um, yeah, I, I think, I think, I mean, I just think we're going to be in a season

00:21:43.580 regardless. It depends on the issue and depending on the issue, it will dictate whether or not it's

00:21:48.700 just for, just for the night or if it's a week long, week long thing, because with the Palestinian 1.00

00:21:53.800 Israel thing, um, as much of the tension as we give that to, to that too, demographically,

00:21:59.040 it's not a lot of people in the country compared to let's say illegal immigrants, which is why 1.00

00:22:04.380 this right season has been a little bit more because not only is the administration different,

00:22:09.040 but the, the, there's just more people like we were talking about at the beginning that are more

00:22:14.720 directly connected that are saying, okay, well, I might not go out and march for Gaza or Israel,

00:22:19.900 but I'm willing to march out for my, my TIA. You know, it'd be funny if, if the Trump,

00:22:24.280 Trump just comes out and he's like, you know what, we're going to stop doing all ice enforcement

00:22:28.020 until maybe November. And then we're going to ramp it up tenfold with, we're going to deploy the

00:22:32.720 military. I, I, I wonder what their plan is for this winter because smooth sailing, if, if ICE does

00:22:41.920 raids and deports, and let me add this, you know, we're talking about how they're largely going

00:22:46.800 after the criminal elements first. I honestly don't care who they go after. If you're here

00:22:50.440 illegally, you got to go. You, it's, it's a deportation. Okay. If you've, if you're here

00:22:54.740 illegally and there's an order for expedited removal, we give you a ride home. There's nothing

00:22:59.520 wrong with that. I think that if Trump makes massive moves come this winter, cause he, you know,

00:23:05.200 he just gets in at the end of January, still a little cold. He's got to get his administration

00:23:08.600 ready. But, uh, this next end of December, I doubt, I doubt you can get 10 protesters to show up for

00:23:17.320 anything, let alone a riot started. If Trump's doing ice raids in the dead of winter, cause I,

00:23:23.480 we, we, nobody ever comes out. If it's raining, they don't come out. It could be, it could be 69

00:23:28.260 degrees and then everyone's outside rain starts. They're gone. What do you, what do you think?

00:23:34.400 Yeah. Yeah. I mean, and, and cause, uh, in, well, I think, I believe it was 2020, uh, in the winter

00:23:41.620 where there, it was the first time, uh, a Minneapolis police officer shot and it was,

00:23:48.480 it was a good shoot, uh, shot, uh, someone during an altercation. Um, and it, it was justified to my,

00:23:55.540 if I'm remembering correctly, but it was the dead of winter. And yes, I know Minnesotans are used to the

00:24:00.780 cold, but it was, it was really cold because it was still Minneapolis. There people did show up,

00:24:06.620 but it was like 15, 20 and they did start a fire. But the only reason they started the fire was so

00:24:10.760 they can keep warm. It was just, it was just like a, it was a makeshift fire pit. And so they weren't

00:24:15.520 making Molotov cocktails or anything. They just wanted to stay warm and nothing happened. And same

00:24:18.980 thing in Kenosha when the, uh, the police officer that shot Jacob Blake, when the DA announced that

00:24:24.560 they weren't going to charge him, it was, uh, actually January 5th, 2021. And so I was debating

00:24:33.180 at the time I was debating, should I go to Kenosha in case something happens? But it was again,

00:24:37.120 and they did prepare. They brought the national guard that they put the fence around the courthouse

00:24:40.620 again in January in Wisconsin. And there was, again, there was a protest, but it was like 20,

00:24:46.520 35 people. And they just marched around coldly, slowly. And that was it. And then the next day I was in,

00:24:52.060 that was, it was January 6th. So that, you know, that's a whole other thing. Um, so yeah,

00:24:57.140 well, no, so yeah, I, it is, it is, this is, it is very weather dependent. And that's why I'm

00:25:02.100 saying, I mean, this, this is a perfect storm. Um, cause even here in Los Angeles right now,

00:25:06.540 it's supposed to be just sunny. All, you know, there's, there's no chance of rain. There's no

00:25:10.620 chance of cold. It's, uh, right now it's, uh, it's in the seventies. Yeah. Well, it heats up

00:25:19.180 obviously in the afternoon, but like, it's supposed to be, yeah, it's supposed to be 75,

00:25:22.720 80, you know, 75, 80. So, so that was what I'm saying. Even, even the conditions, like just

00:25:27.880 naturally, the natural conditions are favorable for these things to continue, obviously not just

00:25:32.520 here, but even in Portland, Seattle, where miserable most of the year.

00:25:37.100 I love that there's like a science to proper riot growth. It's like you need the correct

00:25:41.560 temperature and humidity level. Otherwise people don't riot and you don't get your political outcome.

00:25:45.860 There is, there, there is, believe it or not, there is, there is a science to this.

00:25:50.420 Now, you know, there, there has to be, the thing is the thing that always the X factor

00:25:54.780 is, is the spark, right? It is the catalyst because that can happen anywhere. But if you

00:25:59.580 have, if you have your, it's kind of like a, it's like that fire triangle where you need

00:26:02.540 all three components. If you, as long as you have all those three, something's going to

00:26:06.220 happen. It just depends on the duration.

00:26:08.040 I love too, that if it's too hot, it could be sunny out and it can be 80 people start gathering.

00:26:13.580 But then if by the heat of the day, it's 90, nothing, they all start dissipating. Some

00:26:18.520 people might stick around. Heat isn't as detrimental to the riot as say rain is. I just

00:26:24.260 absolutely love the idea that these people who purport to have this worldview, this, they're

00:26:29.500 anti-fascist. They're, they're sitting there going, whoa, whoa, whoa. You know, I'm anti-fascist,

00:26:33.920 but no one ever said we were going to put us in rain. Come on, let go home.

00:26:37.640 I, I, I, and that's the thing. Don't get me wrong. These people are very dangerous.

00:26:45.580 They can be, especially in the numbers, but yeah, for all their, for all their talk and

00:26:50.720 bluster, they, they, they really are just, they're wimps at the end of the day because

00:26:55.580 you're right. They're like, we're revolutionaries. We're going to take on fascists. You know,

00:26:59.580 we, we, we punch Nazis and then, and then they, they, they instigate, they instigate 0.63

00:27:06.220 a fight and then they cry on social media. Oh, I got shot with a pepper ball or I got 0.97

00:27:10.300 shot with a rubber bullet. It's like, you do realize like actual revolutionaries would

00:27:15.080 get shot with real bullets. Right. So, I mean, like you're not like, this is great. I've

00:27:21.240 been shot with a rubber bullet, not because I was doing anything wrong. Um, it's not fun.

00:27:24.760 Um, but I'm not, I'm not the one proclaiming that I'm going to take on the, the, you know, 1.00

00:27:29.600 the Trump was one of those 40 millimeters expanding foam. It was, it was, it was a 40

00:27:34.720 Mike, Mike, right, right directly, right directly in the stomach. So no, it was Minneapolis.

00:27:40.160 It was Minneapolis. It was the first one because I didn't, I didn't have any of my gear. I

00:27:43.920 didn't have any gear. I was just wearing my T my, my T-shirt. And so thankfully, even

00:27:49.220 though the cop was in the wrong, he thankfully shot me where they're supposed to shoot

00:27:52.680 you because if it was, you know, a few feet above, I, you know, probably wouldn't be living.

00:27:57.180 And if it was a few feet below, you'd be talking to Giulio Rosas right now.

00:28:02.520 Yeah. Uh, there's a video going around of a reporter from Australia getting shot in the

00:28:06.380 leg with what was probably a foam round. And I, I, I love how in this video you can hear

00:28:11.520 some of the writers going, you just shot the press, man. You shot the press. And I'm just

00:28:16.020 like, you hate the press. They're, they're, they're LARPers. It's so fake. I've seen these

00:28:21.700 people steal cameras and beat journalists. It's just about what makes them pretend like

00:28:26.460 they're good guys when they're the ones starting all the fights. But, uh, last question real

00:28:30.400 quick. Got a couple of minutes left. Uh, what's your plan for today? What do you think is going

00:28:33.060 to happen? Uh, so I've gotten word that they're supposed to, there's supposed to be people

00:28:39.260 gathering back at the federal holding facility in downtown Los Angeles. Uh, I'm not sure, I'm

00:28:44.700 not sure how, how shut off LA is. Cause I mean, I, I can tell from, I can tell you from last

00:28:50.220 night, so many of the exits and the ramps have been, have been closed off. So you can

00:28:54.640 still use the one on one, uh, yeah, the one on one, but it's not, um, you can only drive

00:28:59.520 through, through it. You can't, you can't actually exit off. So it, it, it depends. I mean, don't

00:29:03.880 get me wrong. I think people will still show up, but, uh, if they have the personnel to cut

00:29:08.100 off road access, it could, it could obviously temper things down, but yeah, this is how it is.

00:29:13.420 Just, just wait and see. Where can people find you?

00:29:17.260 They can follow me on my, uh, X account, uh, at, at Julio underscore Rosas 11. They can

00:29:23.080 find me at, uh, my sub stack, mostly peaceful dot media. And, uh, I'm also the national correspondent

00:29:30.380 for the blaze. Right on, man. Thanks for hanging out. I really do appreciate you coming in and

00:29:34.120 letting us know what's going on and stay safe out there, man. Yeah. Thanks for having me.

00:29:38.880 Have a good one. That was Julio Rosas, friend of the show. We've had him on

00:29:43.320 several times. He does great work. Uh, I'm not an on the ground guy anymore, man. You

00:29:47.260 guys aren't going to see me, uh, at these, at these protests. Hassan Piker was on the

00:29:51.040 ground of all people, but he said he was there specifically to support the riots and the

00:29:56.400 rioters. So we get it. I still do want to say this though, cause I did a bigger show about

00:30:02.320 this. Hey man, uh, any, any video coming from on the ground, even if it's from Hassan is going

00:30:09.100 to be good because he captures what he captures. He's going to try and focus on the cops. He's

00:30:13.000 going to try and focus on ice. He's going to blame them for everything, but the video

00:30:16.040 is going to show you stuff. So, you know, the more cameras down there during these moments,

00:30:19.900 I think are, are, are the better for, uh, the historical record and what's going on.

00:30:24.660 My friend's going to wrap things up. We're going to be rating our friend Russell Brand.

00:30:27.860 So make sure you smash the like button, share the show with everyone. You know, you can follow

00:31:29.040 even to the smallest degree, an active participant, just saying, look, man, here's a show that I watch.

00:31:33.980 Come watch it. The secret of podcasts and live shows like this. I go to these meetings. I talk

00:31:39.700 to these individuals. I talk to, uh, you know, these advertising guys and I ask them, how is it

00:31:46.300 that, you know, this personality has a top 10 global podcast and they say word of mouth, seriously,

00:31:52.260 a hundred percent. You can buy ads, you can try and get it. But if people don't tell their friends to

00:31:57.020 listen or to watch, it doesn't happen. So thanks to you guys, rumble owns the top live stream spots

00:32:04.500 nationally. And let's make that trend continue. Thank y'all so much for hanging out. And we will

00:32:27.020 We'll see you all tonight.
