00:00:30.000 Iran escalates. The US is now preparing a plan in which they would occupy Karg Island. This would
00:00:38.080 be boots on the ground in Iran. While this is not the main body of Iran and would not have an impact
00:00:46.280 on occupying the country, it is still occupying an island controlled by Iran for the purpose of
00:00:52.940 forcing them to keep the Strait of Hormuz open. Now, let me just stop the more esoteric of this
00:01:00.420 conversation and start here. Israel has stated that if we want regime change in Iran, we will
00:01:07.220 need boots on the ground. And I explicitly warned of this weeks ago, that if we go into Iran, if we
00:01:15.700 are doing a bombing campaign, you will not get regime change unless you have boots on the ground
00:01:21.040 because, I'm sorry, but bombers and fighters can't occupy street corners. And Iran is a mountainous
00:01:26.720 country with 90 plus million people who are not going to just abandon their ideology. While the
00:01:32.840 United States and Israel have flattened the leadership and wiped out many people, that is
00:01:37.920 not how you're going to bring about regime change. Now we are fearing boots on the ground and it's
00:01:43.760 looking like it may escalate to the point we remain optimistic that it does not get that far.
00:01:49.520 But that being said, fears of a military draft are going nuts on social media,
00:01:56.640 largely fueled by leftists and anti-Trump personalities and fake news to trick young
00:02:03.380 people into thinking that Trump wants to draft you and send you to Iran. Not going to happen.
00:02:11.280 That being said, there's always a possibility because we're not talking about
00:02:13.760 crackpot conspiracies like the moon is made of cheese. I mean, drafts exist. It is possible
00:02:19.420 this happens. But the information surrounding this is coming from AI generated polls. What
00:02:24.740 posted by MS now? What? And a fake news meme going around to freak people out. So I would
00:02:32.480 just say to the young people who find their way to this video, guys, chill out. We are nowhere
00:02:36.880 near that level. We have a military. We don't need to draft people, especially not for whatever
00:02:43.460 it is that's going on in Iran. Now, several US allies have committed to a coalition to keep the
00:02:51.440 Strait of Hormuz open. And this is a territory just south of Iran in the Gulf region, this body
00:02:56.240 of water where 20% of the world's natural gas and oil flows through to prevent mass disruptions of
00:03:04.200 the global economy. Donald Trump and our allies in the United States of the United States are
00:03:08.860 seeking to find ways to keep that straight open as Iran is threatening and has reportedly already
00:03:15.700 mined the straight. Several ships have been shutting off their transponders to try and get
00:03:20.720 through this 20 mile wide passage, but Iran is threatening to take them down. Things are getting
00:03:27.200 spicy. My friends, Israel bombed a natural gas field. Then Iran responded by bombing a Qatari
00:03:33.980 natural gas field. And this threatens to drive up energy costs around the world. And the American
00:03:38.840 people will feel it if we do not get a handle on this very, very quickly. Setting politics aside,
00:03:45.740 you can support Trump or oppose Trump. Facing this head on is the most important thing anyone
00:03:51.700 can do. If you want the Democrats to win, fine. You better understand what's happening lest you
00:03:56.320 get something wrong and Trump pulls out victorious in this lowering prices. At the same time,
00:04:01.580 Republicans are adamant that they're enjoying massive support for this. And while they are
00:04:06.540 in the Republican party, moderates are breaking. And if you do not face that, you will have a
00:04:12.180 shortfall come this midterm. The prediction markets are already saying the Republicans
00:04:16.900 are going to lose this house. So let's get to the news and break everything down for you.
00:04:20.680 One step at a time before we do, my friends, head over to timcast.com and join our exclusive
00:04:26.080 discord community. We got tens of thousands of people. It's kind of crazy to say, hanging out,
00:04:30.940 sharing news. Networking is everything. It's not what you know. It's who you know. And we may not
00:04:37.240 be the biggest, most powerful network in the world, but a network is a network. So if you're
00:04:41.840 looking to start a new project, if you're looking to help someone else start a new project, get in
00:04:46.120 the Timcast Discord community where there's morning shows, evening shows, after shows coming together
00:04:51.960 to share ideas because community is our strength. And as a member at Timcast.com, you make the work
00:04:58.320 that I do possible. Without you, I could not do this. So I'm eternally grateful. Thank you so much.
00:05:04.380 Don't forget to smash that like button right now. Subscribe to this channel if you have not,
00:05:09.260 and share this video everywhere you can on social media. If everybody who watched my videos
00:05:13.880 shared them, we'd be the biggest news show in the world. So maybe you watch, but you don't like me.
00:05:18.700 But if you do, please consider sharing. Here's a story from The Guardian.
00:05:22.240 U.S. considering occupying Karg Island to force Iran to open Hormuz Strait,
00:05:26.920 say reports. Trump has claimed to be weighing up a change of heart over boots on the ground
00:05:32.080 as Iran says it will hunt down US and Israeli officials. Now, my friends, I want to, I know
00:05:38.540 many of you already know this, but bear with me for those that are unfamiliar because this is the
00:05:43.520 goal we have here to make sure you all understand what is going on in this war so that you can vote
00:05:48.860 effectively come November and make the proper decisions. What we have here, my friends, is Iran
00:05:54.360 to its west, Iraq, to its east, Afghanistan. The U.S., of course, for a long time occupied
00:05:59.200 these countries. We then have the Persian Gulf, where you have the Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain,
00:06:04.940 Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia with access to ship oil and natural gas out of the Gulf, through the Gulf
00:06:11.880 of Oman, Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Oman, and then into the Arabian Sea, and of course, out
00:06:18.300 into the rest of the world. You even have on the other side of Saudi Arabia, a lot of this oil
00:06:23.360 makes its way through the Red Sea into the Mediterranean to help fuel Europe. But 20%
00:06:28.500 of oil and natural gas are flowing through the strait. Now, as you can see, Iran controls the
00:06:33.480 Strait of Hormuz, which of course you've got split between to itself, the Emirates and Oman.
00:06:39.800 Iran is threatening to destroy ships that try and go through this strait. They are saying it's our
00:06:45.180 way or the highway. Donald Trump wants that straight open and wants oil and natural gas to
00:06:50.200 flow so that your prices don't go up and we don't see a disruption of the global economy.
00:06:55.200 Now, over here to the west of the Persian Gulf, you can see Karg Island or Kark as it's called
00:06:59.240 on Google Earth. I'm sorry, Kark is the city and Karg is the island. The plan for Boots on the
00:07:04.640 Ground would be to occupy just this island to keep oil and energy flowing and to force Iran
00:07:12.220 to keep this straight open. This way, your prices don't go nuts. Now, I'm going to add to this real
00:07:18.860 quick before we jump over to the official reporting, and we'll fly over to Venezuela,
00:07:22.580 which you can see is just right here. I surmise, and I think it's a fair assessment, that the reason
00:07:26.900 the U.S. went in and removed Maduro was to secure our oil assets, which had been seized in 2009
00:07:33.580 by the Chavez regime. Donald Trump knew we were going into Iran. I do not believe for a second
00:07:40.660 they were unprepared for this. And the move made against Venezuela was to make sure we had oil
00:07:46.140 flowing and natural gas around the world, because if we lost control of the Gulf and
00:07:52.040 20% got hit, and then Venezuela also was controlling this oil, we would be in deep
00:07:57.980 trouble. The US sees those oil assets back, which were taken back in 2009. So the flow
00:08:03.980 could at least remain somewhat stable. There's a lot going on in the world today, my friends,
00:08:08.740 of which these only are a small part. And that's why many people actually are entertaining
00:08:13.540 the possibility of a military draft. Carolyn Levin was asked, is a draft on the table? And
00:08:19.700 she said the president will not take anything off the table, but I'm just going to pause right now
00:08:24.880 and say this. It's certainly possible. It is in the realm of physical possibility, but I do not
00:08:32.000 see it as being anywhere near probable. The Guardian reports the U S is reportedly considering
00:08:39.200 plans to occupy or blockade Iran's Karg Island to pressure Tehran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz,
00:08:45.200 despite earlier suggestions by Donald Trump that he was not leaning towards putting boots on the
00:08:48.900 ground. The claims made on the Axios website followed previous reporting that the US was
00:08:53.740 considering occupying the key Iranian oil terminal. The report emerged as Iran's military threatened
00:08:59.100 it would hunt down officials and military commanders from the United States and Israel
00:09:02.880 wherever it could find them in the world. We are watching your cowardly officials and commanders,
00:09:08.280 pilots and wicked soldiers. From now on, based on the information we have on you,
00:09:13.100 the promenades, resorts and tourists and entertainment centers in the world will not
00:09:17.560 be safe. I would like to stress that is an overt threat of terrorism, mind you. Now I understand
00:09:23.960 that war is insane and civilians take damage, die. There's collateral damage, injuries, etc.
00:09:31.160 The point is we always condemn the intentional strikes on civilians, be it Trump or Obama or
00:09:37.840 anybody else. And if it is true that the U.S. intentionally blew up this school with a Tomahawk
00:09:43.780 missile, there must be accountability. We are the good guys, my friends. We do not tolerate
00:09:49.360 these kinds of actions. That being said, Iran is explicitly threatening to target civilians.
00:09:55.760 That is wrong. And we got this, my friends, from the Daily Mail. Similar reporting that Trump is
00:10:01.540 considering ordering U.S. troops to seize or blockade Iran's Karga Island, but risks irrevocable
00:10:06.800 damage to global economy as netanyahu also hints at putting boots on the ground i know a lot of
00:10:13.880 people don't want to hear it but we talked about this in the past week and i warned you not because
00:10:19.460 i'm smart not because i can see the future but because there is a basic fact you will not occupy
00:10:25.480 a country and force regime change without human beings on the ground controlling what these people
00:10:33.240 do. As I already stated, satellites, predator drones, bombers, they cannot occupy street
00:10:41.700 corners. So if you want to force a change in how policing is done, how the military
00:10:48.640 handles things in the country, you will need an occupying force with a monopoly on violence.
00:10:54.720 I do not see that as being a simple ask. Iraq and Afghanistan were very different countries.
00:11:00.960 and even that was difficult.
00:11:02.500 Afghanistan, substantially weaker
00:11:04.940 in terms of any kind of military power.
00:11:06.960 Iran is a mountainous, defensible nation
00:11:09.160 with 90 plus million people.
00:11:11.280 They will not just bend.
00:11:13.940 The Hill reports Netanyahu says
00:11:15.240 revolution in Iran will require
00:11:16.640 ground component to war.
00:11:19.300 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
00:11:20.740 on Thursday said that overthrowing Iran's regime
00:11:22.860 will require a ground component
00:11:24.040 along with the revolution
00:11:24.780 as the U.S.-Israeli conflict
00:11:26.340 within the Middle Eastern country
00:11:27.380 nears the start of its fourth week.
00:11:30.060 It is often said
00:11:30.740 you can't win. You can't do revolutions from the air. That is true. You can't do it only from
00:11:35.980 there. You can do a lot of things from the air and we're, and we're doing, but there has to be
00:11:40.820 a ground component. There are many possibilities for this ground component. And I take the liberty
00:11:45.620 of not sharing with you all the possibilities. I'm going to tell you this, my friends boots on
00:11:50.740 the ground will be politically devastating for the Trump administration. I'm going to say it.
00:11:57.580 I know the Republicans and Trump and Trump supporters are completely behind him.
00:12:03.860 But you will see moderates and independents break in two seconds with boots on the ground.
00:12:09.960 We have what I call post-intervention stress disorder or pissed, as Ian pointed out.
00:12:16.480 My life and most people witnessed the failures of the Iraq campaign, Afghanistan, these wars.
00:12:23.400 We have learned the lessons of Vietnam.
00:12:25.680 And now many people want to say there were at least some victories there.
00:12:28.820 It wasn't a total victory.
00:12:30.320 I'm telling you, Iran is a different beast.
00:12:33.040 And the American people are fed up with being sent to occupy foreign countries, especially
00:12:38.520 without a casus belli.
00:12:40.960 One of the most, the biggest political mistakes made by the Trump administration was entering
00:12:46.700 this war without what's called a casus belli, which means cause for war.
00:12:50.500 usually there is some action taken against us which is used to rally the american people behind
00:12:57.740 these wars and when it came to saddam hussein and when it came to the taliban they said they
00:13:03.040 were aiding and abetting said i'm sorry osama bin laden in pakistan i'm sorry in in afghanistan
00:13:08.460 they were hiding him and this was a justification to go in and get him because of 9-11 with saddam
00:13:13.480 hussein they said there was some support for 9-11 but he had weapons of mass destruction
00:13:17.880 And if he was allowed to, to use these weapons, it would be devastating. And people got behind
00:13:24.020 George W. Bush, largely, we had a, let's call it a, um, unified narrative machine. And you had
00:13:34.100 nine 11 people were freaked out and they were angry. We had been attacked. That's what they
00:13:41.140 told us. Now, I think it's fair to say the full details. We'll never know. We only have the
00:13:46.160 official public reports, which I believe largely are true. And from this, we've seen, I know a lot
00:13:50.820 of people are going to question that, and I'm not going to get into 9-11 stuff. I'm not saying I
00:13:53.780 trust the government, but we have seen the shielding of the Saudis in this capacity.
00:13:57.860 Right now, we have entered this war from the air with Israel without a strike against the
00:14:04.260 American people. Marco Rubio stated that Israel was going to take action against Iran, and we
00:14:08.680 were concerned about maintaining a defensive posture because that could result in Americans
00:14:12.600 losing their lives. And you know what? Unfortunately for Rubio, if that's the real
00:14:17.280 reason and a genuine concern, well, being noble is only going to cost you. The reality is when
00:14:22.820 it comes to war, you'd need a cause for war. And if Iran struck, I'm sorry, if Israel struck Iran
00:14:29.280 and then Iran killed Americans, you'd actually have somewhat of a cast's belly. Instead,
00:14:36.140 we joined a preemptive strike against, against Iran, which people were calling a preemptive
00:14:41.960 defensive strike, which is just silly. This means that American support for the war will be minimal.
00:14:47.540 And many people are now warning that the US's only option will be a false flag on the American
00:14:52.520 people. It's hard to know what to believe, my friends. We call this the fog of war.
00:14:57.440 Now, PBS reports, Trump says he's been rejected by NATO, most allies to join mission to secure
00:15:04.940 critical Strait of Hormuz. However, seven U.S. allies are backing a potential Strait of Hormuz
00:15:12.480 coalition. Trump's pissed, okay? He's telling NATO, he's telling our allies, guys,
00:15:17.520 if we don't keep this straight open, energy is going to go nuts for everybody.
00:15:23.160 The unfortunate reality is Israel wanted this war. The U.S., of course, as I already stated,
00:15:28.780 was preparing for this. I think it's a fair assessment, especially with the raid on Venezuela.
00:15:33.140 But Israel wanted this war, and it took these actions before, I believe, the world, the West,
00:15:38.500 was prepared to maintain control of the region. Israel's motivation largely based on the fact
00:15:43.820 that Iran is funding Hamas, Hezbollah, and militias in the region, which are trying to
00:15:49.940 destroy Israel. The U.S., of course, it's largely about controlling oil and the petrodollar,
00:15:54.540 and Iran has been a thorn in our side for quite some time. But nothing had happened,
00:16:00.200 at least for now, that would drive the U.S., or I should say there was no casus belli.
00:16:06.160 So because Israel decided to make this move, the U.S. gets dragged in and our NATO allies are saying,
00:16:12.540 we don't know about all that. Trump is pissed. He's called them cowards. Quote, I am not surprised
00:16:19.260 by their action, however, because I always considered NATO, where we spend hundreds of
00:16:22.880 billions of dollars per year protecting these same countries, to be a one-way street. We will
00:16:27.580 protect them, but they will do nothing for us. So where does this go? There is a fear that
00:16:34.560 because there is a lack of support, the U S has just rolled the dice and things are going to get
00:16:40.080 bad. If we do not keep the straight of hormones open gas prices, let's just call it 20%, even
00:16:46.380 though it's not mathematically how it works, but let's say 20% of the world's energy supply gets
00:16:50.180 cut off. What do you think that's going to do to the price of your milk, bread and eggs,
00:16:54.460 Gas prices through the roof, a political apocalypse for the Republican Party,
00:16:58.800 generally just bad. So what could the alternative be? Could it be a military draft? Well, I don't
00:17:05.280 think so, as I've already stated. But take a look at this report from MS Now. Young men fear a
00:17:09.680 possible Iran war draft, and they feel duped by Trump with 77,922 views. Yeah, the only thing is
00:17:18.120 this guy says they did an AI online assessment and found that people feared a military draft.
00:17:23.960 Sure, I guess. Come on. We have this from the Hill. Trump hasn't ruled out a draft for war
00:17:30.680 with Iran, but is conscription constitutional? Yes, it is. It would be a miserable disaster.
00:17:36.980 You should not do it. And I don't think it's going to happen. But in the event, someone does
00:17:42.300 clip these segments of me where I say, I don't think a military draft is possible. Let me just
00:17:46.760 say it is possible. I think it's unlikely, but if it happens, I'd probably be surprised, but
00:17:54.480 it is possible. And I say that because you never know how bad things could get.
00:18:00.480 If there is an attack by Iran on the United States in some capacity, a terror attack or
00:18:06.660 otherwise a sleeper cell, which we've been warned about, the American people are going to demand,
00:18:10.760 they are going to demand that we do something about this. But understand this. After 9-11,
00:18:17.520 we did not need a military draft. Brave men and women in this country volunteered because they
00:18:24.600 saw this attack. They were motivated. They were inspired and they were angry, rightfully so.
00:18:30.600 So many young men and women enlisted and joined the efforts and were sent to Iraq and Afghanistan.
00:18:36.860 Whether it was right or wrong, these individuals made a brave decision, an honorable decision.
00:18:41.660 In the event there's a justifiable war with Iran, as of right now, I say,
00:18:46.220 certainly we have cause to go against Iran. They have killed Americans for a long time now.
00:18:52.640 Whether or not that justifies full-scale war, I don't know. I'm skeptical.
00:18:57.460 But if the Iranians, in their rage, getting flattened by our airstrikes, decide to engage
00:19:04.380 and terror on American soil, you better believe you don't need a draft because the honorable,
00:19:09.200 brave men and women of this country are going to stand up and say, you crossed the line.
00:19:12.820 No, don't get me wrong. Many liberals are going to say, we started the war first.
00:19:16.240 They're retaliating. I don't care. I literally do not care. I'm going to tell you something.
00:19:20.920 I said this yesterday, we were debating tariffs and other issues and, uh, we're debating Venezuela
00:19:27.480 and the war with Iran. And I said, in 2009, the Venezuelan regime seized our oil assets. We had
00:19:35.740 a treaty with Venezuela. We agreed to build oil infrastructure and we would both profit. And you
00:19:41.240 know what? They were the wealthiest country in South America. They seized those assets from us
00:19:45.640 and we did nothing. We complained, we sued, and we lost. I should say our companies did. They pay
00:19:52.020 taxes too, right? Well, Trump said, I'm going in, I'm taking it back. And he did. And I say, good.
00:19:57.480 That's justice. Ian then asked, what about the Chinese farmland, right? They seized our assets
00:20:03.920 because they felt that they should for their country. Well, the Chinese are buying, they're
00:20:08.240 buying up farmland in this country. And I say, these are entirely different scenarios. The
00:20:11.780 Chinese are not buying directly working treaties out with the US government. There's a treaty they
00:20:15.380 went in and they started buying up farmland near military bases and just farmland in general.
00:20:19.420 And that is a national security threat. So we say enough, we're going to put a stop to that.
00:20:23.600 And we work on legislation to say no more.
00:20:26.020 But we didn't outright just seize everything, but I wouldn't be surprised, nor would I be
00:20:29.520 upset about if we did.
00:20:31.120 And then I was asked, but aren't these the same thing?
00:20:33.100 Doesn't a country have a right?
00:20:34.380 First and foremost, again, they're different.
00:20:36.300 When we agree to build oil infrastructure for Venezuela and they profit from it, that's
00:20:40.860 an agreement in good faith.
00:20:42.640 When they seize it from us, that's bad faith.
00:20:45.120 When the Chinese come and buy farmland in our country, that's bad faith.
00:20:48.620 We won't tolerate it.
00:20:49.740 But I will make one thing absolutely clear.
00:20:51.740 I don't care anyway. I will always advocate for the benefit of these United States.
00:20:59.620 So if there's a minor infraction committed by the Chinese on land in this country,
00:21:04.480 I'm going to have a heavy hand in favor of the United States. And if there's a major infraction
00:21:08.160 committed against our companies that agreed to work with Venezuela, I am going to have a heavy
00:21:11.840 hand in favor of the United States. And I hope that's clear. And I have absolutely no problem
00:21:16.660 saying, my bias will always be to support this country. Now, as of right now, again,
00:21:24.300 people are concerned about the prospect of a military draft with Fox 11 Los Angeles saying,
00:21:29.080 U.S. military draft disqualifications list, see if you're exempt. This is, in my opinion,
00:21:35.060 rage bait, click bait, nonsense, trying to get people all amped up. They say the automatic
00:21:41.360 selective service registration system is in effect. Under the current NDAA, the U.S. government no
00:21:44.840 longer relies on manual signups. Instead, selective service system automatically registers all
00:21:48.960 eligible citizens using federal records, such as DMV and social security data. Failure to register
00:21:54.200 classifies a felony, but again, I'm going to say everybody's automatically registered.
00:21:57.900 Do immigrants need to register? If you're an 18 to 25-year-old immigrant, you are required to
00:22:02.960 register. Are women required to register? Despite previous discussions, no, women are not required
00:22:08.880 to register. Who is exempt? Non-immigrant men and women, those on valid student, visitor,
00:22:14.620 tourist, or diplomatic visas, people who are already in the military, cadets training to be
00:22:19.280 in the military, incarcerated and institutionalized individuals. There's also ministry and divinity
00:22:24.620 deferments, hardship deferments, conscientious objectors, why you should care, the Iran factor.
00:22:32.120 The last time the U.S. held a draft was 1973 during the Vietnam War. However,
00:22:35.260 the scale of the current Iran conflict has strained the all-volunteer force.
00:22:39.180 Pentagon officials have noted that while a draft remains a measure of last resort,
00:22:42.840 the infrastructure for a lottery-based call to service is fully operational for the first time
00:22:46.820 in over 50 years. If the President and Congress were to authorize a draft today,
00:22:51.600 it would begin with a lottery based on birthdays followed by a physical and mental evaluation at
00:22:56.380 military entrance processing stations. Even with automatic registration, attempts to dodge or
00:23:01.060 interfere with the process can carry heavy penalties up to five years in prison and fines
00:23:05.720 of up to $250,000 plus ineligibility for federal student loans, job training, or government
00:23:11.380 employment. I say this, until women are required to register for the draft, men should not be
00:23:16.960 either. You want to play these games? We can play these games. Now, I certainly think women should
00:23:21.260 not be drafted for combat operations. There are still things they can do to benefit our military.
00:23:28.040 There are tremendous women who serve in our military to a great degree.
00:23:31.720 In terms of the draft, there are supporting roles they can take.
00:23:34.280 We don't need combat infantry women.
00:23:36.100 Although, if it really got bad, yikes, that's when you know things are cooked.
00:23:41.480 Check this out.
00:23:42.840 From the AFP, fabricated post stokes fears of imminent US draft to Iran.
00:23:48.760 They are trying to rile you up, freak you out, and piss you off about Donald Trump.
00:23:54.780 This is more so, in my opinion, an attempt to win the midterms than anything else.
00:24:00.420 Or just, I mean, to be honest, some people just do this.
00:24:04.120 This post said, according to Project 2025, draft opens up for all public high school
00:24:07.880 seniors for a two-year commitment.
00:24:09.720 Private school students are exempt.
00:24:10.820 Classes, they'll send your kids off to die, but not their own.
00:24:13.860 And they're quoting a post from Trump that says, we hope it never comes to this, but
00:24:16.720 Americans should be ready for the possibility of being drafted if our country needs us.
00:24:20.060 We must stay strong and prepared, America first.
00:24:22.880 Trump never said this, and nowhere in Project 2025 does it entertain the possibility of a draft.
00:24:29.520 They don't bring that up. It's not a thing. This is a manipulation. It's designed to trick you
00:24:34.880 into thinking that Trump is bad. Carolyn Levitt has the post. She says, as I've recently repeated,
00:24:40.460 as I've said repeatedly, she said, Americans trust President Trump as their commander-in-chief
00:24:44.540 and support his efforts to eliminate terrorist threats and keep us safe. There is no mega
00:24:49.300 fracturing, no matter how many times the media tries to claim otherwise. With all due respect,
00:24:55.500 this is spin. I like Carolyn Levitt. She does her job well, and I respect what she is trying to do.
00:25:02.940 MAGA or not, the majority of Trump supporters back Iran strikes. Let me show you the poll
00:25:07.580 she's highlighting. Share of Americans split by whether they self-identify as MAGA or non-MAGA
00:25:12.840 Republicans who support or oppose the joint US-Israel military strikes in Iran, the killing
00:25:19.160 of around supreme leader, et cetera. Among people who say they are MAGA, 81% support Trump.
00:25:24.780 Fantastic. Among Republicans who do not identify as MAGA, 61% support Trump. Overall, overall,
00:25:35.240 43% with 33% opposition. So Trump certainly is enjoying a plurality of individuals.
00:25:45.560 If you, this is a mistake that they're making, but I understand why they're doing it.
00:25:50.480 The Trump administration is not going to come out and say that we're doing a bad job and
00:25:53.020 everyone's mad at us.
00:25:53.620 They want to maintain morale and I can respect that.
00:25:55.540 I can.
00:25:56.620 And I have no problem pointing out that every press secretary, be it left, right, up, down,
00:26:00.880 whatever, are going to spin.
00:26:02.900 Same is true for Spicer, Kayleigh McEnany, Carolyn Levitt, and of course, Jen Psaki and
00:26:07.600 Karine Jean-Pierre.
00:26:08.620 This is what their job was.
00:26:10.780 That being said, Kareem Jean-Pierre was just like the absolute worst.
00:26:14.800 Come on.
00:26:15.200 Jen Psaki was a good spinster.
00:26:17.080 I give her that credit all the time.
00:26:19.980 Kaylee McEnany was the best because it was actually just smacking down the fake news
00:26:24.960 overwhelmingly.
00:26:26.040 Don't get me wrong.
00:26:26.720 The spin's going to happen and I'm not opposed to it.
00:26:28.740 I know why they do it.
00:26:29.980 But Kaylee McEnany largely was just debunking the lies.
00:26:32.660 I love that.
00:26:33.860 So I can respect and understand why they're saying this, but I think it's important to
00:26:38.520 the betterment of the American people and the Republicans that you tell them moderates,
00:26:45.340 independents are breaking on this. We've also had over the past few days that the White House
00:26:53.320 has been backing off of mass deportations. So there is going to be a big risk for the Republicans
00:27:00.180 in the midterm. And to be honest, they may have resigned themselves already. Now, responsible
00:27:05.020 Statecraft has the question you all want to hear. Are we on the precipice of World War III?
00:27:11.460 Countless potential black swan events could spark a collapse of our fragile geopolitical order.
00:27:16.800 Shortly after US and Israeli bombs and missiles began falling on Tehran,
00:27:20.280 Iranian missiles flew in all directions. We all know this. They say, imagine a chart
00:27:24.920 between the world's alliances, treaties, trade agreements, cultural bonds. We get it.
00:27:28.760 Our civilization could end in minutes, and it will only be a matter of luck if any human being
00:27:32.880 survives. Yikes. Talking about nuclear weapons. The global situation, eerily similar to 1913 in
00:27:39.000 the years leading up to World War I. European leaders created an intricate system of alliances.
00:27:43.560 France and Russia signed a mutual defense pact. Germany and Austro-Hungary had a similar
00:27:48.500 arrangement. The Russians had a cultural bond with their fellow Slavs in Serbia.
00:27:52.740 So when Franz Ferdinand and his wife were murdered by a Serbian nationalist in June of 1914,
00:27:57.140 the resulting diplomatic crisis and war declaration by Austria-Hungary against Serbia
00:28:01.460 pulled Russia into the war. The Russian mobilization prompted the Germans to mobilize.
00:28:04.980 In quick succession, the Germans declared war on Russia, France, and Belgium. When German troops
00:28:08.600 entered Luxembourg and Belgium, Great Britain declared war on Germany, and World War I began.
00:28:13.260 They called it the Great War. The funny thing is, all the royals were related. How stupid.
00:28:18.520 The world is vastly more complex today. In 1913, there were approximately 61 sovereign states.
00:28:24.600 Today, there are 195. We may already be in the beginning stages of a global war.
00:28:31.240 Victor Davis Hanson wrote about how World War II only looks like World War II in hindsight.
00:28:36.160 For the people living through it, especially in the beginning, World War II looked like a series
00:28:40.100 of rather ordinary border conflicts and territorial conquests. The Japanese invaded
00:28:44.560 Manchuria in 1931, and then further expanded the conflict with China in 1937. Italy invaded
00:28:50.820 Ethiopia in 1935. Germany remilitarized in the Rhineland in 1936, annexed Austria in 1938,
00:28:56.980 and occupied the Sudetenland six months later. And this is the point that I have been making
00:29:02.540 for quite some time. We may be in that war now. We can't see the forest for the trees.
00:29:09.980 We look back on hindsight and they will say World War III began with Ukraine, perhaps.
00:29:16.180 Most people, when you ask them when World War I or World War II started, they really don't know.
00:29:21.380 I mean, US involvement wasn't until way late into World War II anyway.
00:29:25.300 And we only call it World War II because Japan was invading.
00:29:28.600 And then in Europe, they were invading.
00:29:31.120 And we weren't really involved in it.
00:29:33.640 And then Pearl Harbor happened.
00:29:35.060 There's a lot of arguments about why Pearl Harbor happened.
00:29:37.160 One of them is that the US had been supplying Britain with weapons.
00:29:40.340 And we had been expanding our Pacific fleet.
00:29:43.480 Japan was angry.
00:29:44.880 They were aligned with Germany, despite not really having contact.
00:29:49.800 They were allied, and they were doing trade, and there were things like that.
00:29:52.900 I don't believe that any direct military contact. Germany was pissed because we were supplying the
00:29:59.340 British with weapons. So we were effectively in the war. And then Japan pissed about the expansion
00:30:06.280 of US in the Pacific, preemptively took a strike against Pearl Harbor, believing that we were
00:30:11.940 about to enter the war. And maybe we were. Now there's a lot of arguments that the US let Pearl
00:30:16.720 Harbor happen because we needed to cast his belly. Well, read your history and choose what you want
00:30:21.200 I believe. In the end, the U.S. decided to drop two nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki,
00:30:26.060 not because they needed to, because we wanted to send a message and put a stop to this war.
00:30:30.740 And we did because you don't mess with us. That's the way America cooks. Now, I'm not going to
00:30:36.000 those were good things, but it did end the war. And the argument is we didn't need to. Maybe we
00:30:39.520 didn't. Maybe we did. Hindsight being 2020, really, we don't know. Looking back on everything
00:30:44.480 we're seeing now, the world that we live in, this may be World War III. The question is,
00:30:51.200 will it result in nuclear bombs dropping? But let me just explain to you all right now.
00:30:57.120 The war in Ukraine rages on. There are battles happening in Russia and Ukraine. The West is
00:31:03.540 funding that war. Russia, of course, is pushing back. North Korea has joined the Russians.
00:31:09.140 We've attacked Venezuela. That was a quick, easy thing. Cuba is falling. Now we're at war
00:31:16.140 in the Gulf region with Iran
00:31:18.700 and China is sending military vessels around.
00:31:21.360 I'm sorry, in the Gulf with Iran
00:31:23.160 and China sending military vessels to Taiwan.
00:31:26.300 So many onwards.
00:31:28.160 It looks like things are escalating dramatically.
00:31:32.560 It's Friday.
00:31:33.240 I am cooked.
00:31:35.120 My friends, this could be World War III,
