Today we're going to be covering Chris Benoit, a.k.a. the Rapid Wolverine.
00:00:52.400
A special agent with Homeland Security Investigations, okay, guys?
00:00:56.840
Defender Jeffrey Williams and Associate YSL did commit the felony.
00:01:08.040
John Wayne Gacy, a.k.a. the Killer Clown, okay?
00:01:10.300
One of the most prolific serial killers of all time.
00:01:13.520
Zodiac Killer is a pseudonym of an unidentified serial killer who operated in Northern California.
00:01:18.660
They really get off on getting attention from the media.
00:01:22.420
Many years, Jeffrey Epstein sexually exploited and abused dozens of minor girls at his home.
00:01:26.660
It was OJ working together to get Nicole killed.
00:01:43.520
You guys have been asking for this one for a very long time.
00:01:49.060
I remember as a kid, well, 16, 17 at this point, when the news broke, and I remember watching
00:01:56.540
it was either, I think it was Raw, and they did a full-on tribute to Chris Benoit, and
00:02:01.200
then they quickly retracted it after the fact because they found out the circumstances under
00:02:08.620
Today we're going to be reacting to a documentary, but before we get into that, I'm going to take
00:02:15.260
But, Angie, what's your, go ahead and introduce yourself to the people, and then what's your
00:02:21.860
Because you came up with this idea to do this case because a lot of people messaged you on
00:02:26.920
Yeah, this has been a highly requested one for a while now.
00:02:32.060
I think it was you who made the decision to do it, obviously, but you guys have been
00:02:42.860
Actually, guys always drop Chris Benoit, Chris Benoit.
00:02:49.420
I found a very good documentary that won't hit us with the copyright.
00:02:54.900
Yeah, like last week, we've been hit with the copyright plenty of times now.
00:03:02.760
And we are actually using Coffee House, which is the channel that we use for Courtney Clenny
00:03:10.180
Yeah, you guys really like that Courtney Clenny one.
00:03:27.440
I want to mention it because you guys always request this one.
00:03:33.580
And I will try, for you guys, I will try to convince him to-
00:03:48.060
Okay, so I mentioned this case to Marilyn like a thousand times now, but he never remembers.
00:03:53.760
So, I'll try to convince him to do it because it's a quite interesting case and I think we
00:04:04.100
They went ahead and took the Jack the Ripper one that we did.
00:04:14.240
Bills, Moe, we got both of them in the house, guys, by the way.
00:04:20.660
Bills was doing some upkeep and some background stuff with Streamlabs.
00:04:30.280
So, he was, you know, because obviously, as you guys know, well, I don't know if you
00:04:34.180
guys know, but you have different profiles on Streamlabs, so he had to update the FedReacts
00:04:46.540
So, because Moe's been running the FedReacts, and as you guys know, it's not as smooth as
00:04:54.480
They say in the chat that you look like a rapper.
00:04:57.660
I do music for a living, so they're pretty accurate.
00:05:08.340
You know, we're going to have quite a bit of commentary on this one on the side.
00:05:12.980
This was actually a case that I kind of put my name and hat to recommending this case.
00:05:20.940
I was like, when I finally found out, I was like, you know, it's a big, like, 50-50 beat
00:05:27.680
when the wrestling community, when it comes to Chris Benoit, it's like, yo, some people
00:05:34.200
are forgiving him, and I know a lot of people in the wrestling community are very forgiving
00:05:38.400
Chris Benoit is one of the biggest reasons when I reference how forgiving the wrestling
00:05:44.420
There's another half, especially deep within the wrestling industry, and different companies
00:05:50.260
and promotions that will all agree that, like, this is a taboo name to speak.
00:05:56.060
So, we're talking about one of the biggest taboo names in wrestling history.
00:06:05.020
WWE does an extremely great job on editing him out on books, records, videos, footages.
00:06:12.620
He's, we're talking about one of the most canceled taboo names in the wrestling industry
00:06:19.760
because of, you know, what he did, and, you know, we're about to see all the details.
00:06:24.640
I'm interested in seeing this, especially when Myron had first started Fed Reacts.
00:06:30.000
One of the, Chris Benoit was one of the first things that came to mind.
00:06:35.940
We even watched an interview of one of his friends, I think it was, and he said that
00:06:41.000
he was very sad about everything, but still, he was very, like, angry because of what happened.
00:06:54.140
And we got, let's see here, we got about six, almost 700 y'all watching on YouTube,
00:06:58.700
and then we got another 900 y'all watching over on Rumble.
00:07:04.120
If you're watching on Rumble, open up a tab on YouTube, like the video, subscribe to the channel.
00:07:09.860
On Rumble and on YouTube, and yeah, man, support.
00:07:15.140
I'll hit any rants or chats, and then we'll get into the documentary.
00:07:19.800
And someone already said, like, he thinks that WWE banned his name.
00:07:30.520
As soon as they found out, like, what actually happened, they literally banned everything, dude.
00:07:36.220
Like, Chris Benoit is, what do you say, Mo, most canceled wrestler of all time?
00:07:51.940
He was canceled for a long, he was like another wrestler that was kind of canceled for a long time
00:08:01.860
There was a footage, a security footage of, or bedroom footage, of him saying the N-word
00:08:16.700
So, for a long time, he's been canceled, but one, another example of the wrestling community
00:08:23.260
being very forgiven, and he was eventually forgiven by WWE and the wrestling industry.
00:08:29.680
You know, it amazes me how people let a word, bro, like, get them so angry.
00:08:38.260
Like, do you really think Hulk Hogan is racist?
00:08:43.680
The guy wrestled with Booker T for decades, you know what I mean?
00:08:47.520
And it just amazes me how people will sit there and, like, they try to do the same thing
00:08:54.020
And they just got those clips and tried to say he was a racist, blah, blah, blah.
00:08:57.260
They're attacking Russell Brand right now, right?
00:09:02.040
You know, like, out of nowhere, these girls are coming out trying to meet to him, like,
00:09:05.780
15 years after the fact, like, come on, dude, like, what's going on here?
00:09:09.440
Like, if, why has there been no criminal case, no criminal charges filed?
00:09:18.740
I do want to say, because the wrestling industry was one of the first big promotions and big
00:09:24.420
companies that actually doesn't, didn't subscribe to, you know, offensive racism.
00:09:31.260
I mean, there was some hints, but a lot of it was just, you know, because a lot of it
00:09:40.120
But, and, but just the wrestling industry as a whole, they, they did not subscribe to
00:09:48.240
They were actually one of the, like, first, I may be, I may be exaggerating, but they was
00:09:53.140
always one of the first to, like, not subscribe to any hatred towards any race.
00:09:58.720
All they looked at is talent, and that was, like, multiple promotions, multiple companies,
00:10:05.260
and, but, of course, to highlight Vince McMahon, all he really thought about was money.
00:10:10.420
Vince McMahon was, like, the only, the only color I see is green.
00:10:14.020
I don't care about what the hell your color is, is, are you, will you follow orders?
00:10:25.300
And when they say take a bump, guys, they're not talking about cocaine.
00:10:27.540
They're talking about a bump, like, when they bump into each other, we're wrestling and
00:10:33.540
But, you know, he, and he only cares about, you know, you know, can you, are you marketable?
00:10:40.600
And also, you know, you know, will you keep yourself in shape?
00:10:48.400
That's far, keeping yourself in shape, especially in ring shape, wrestling shape, is far above
00:10:57.360
That's why a lot of, you see a lot of people, a lot of legends had their chances very early,
00:11:02.180
you know, regardless of how the rest of the world was.
00:11:04.740
Because, you know, the wrestling industry didn't care nor subscribe about the climate
00:11:10.600
So, that racism didn't really, no one cared about it.
00:11:14.040
No one cared about racism in wrestling industry, not just WWE.
00:11:18.760
Yeah, because obviously a lot of talent was African-American.
00:11:21.360
So, are they going to, like, you know, cut their money down for racism?
00:11:25.720
At the end of the day, if it makes money, they're going to do it.
00:11:28.480
But, yeah, I mean, I completely forgot about that Hulk Hogan chapter with that.
00:11:34.800
It was, it doesn't even really hurt his legacy.
00:11:37.340
I mean, he just did an interview with Joe Rogan recently.
00:11:41.020
I still, when you think wrestling, I think, you know, Hulk Hogan is like a name that's
00:11:46.820
I mean, you can argue that he is, when you think professional wrestling, Hulk Hogan is
00:11:52.220
You can argue that his name, you know, is higher up than The Rock and Stone Cold when it
00:11:58.240
Even though I still think Stone Cold is the best wrestler of all time, I put him above everybody.
00:12:01.900
And I think he's head and shoulders above The Rock, despite people saying, oh, The Rock
00:12:06.700
The one thing that will always blemish The Rock's legacy to me is that he chose Hollywood
00:12:18.400
But you're, if you choose Hollywood over the WWE, you can't come back and sit there
00:12:25.820
Because when the WWE was like hurting for ratings and everything else, what was he?
00:12:30.320
He was in Hollywood shooting, you know, stupid ass movies that a lot of them sucked.
00:12:34.740
Like, he left the WWE to shoot a lot of really bad movies, too.
00:12:50.140
At least, I have to say minimum, it can't be any lower than 20.
00:12:59.920
And that actually includes from big movies to straight to DVD movies.
00:13:29.400
Well, he actually ended up getting fired for doing that Rocky III scene.
00:13:42.220
And he ended up getting fired for doing that because he told him, you need to show up at this event.
00:13:46.860
And he didn't show up because he went and did that movie scene instead.
00:13:50.620
And $50,000 back then in 1980s, that's the equivalent probably easily to, you know, 30,000 plus today.
00:13:56.840
And that was more than wrestlers probably made because wrestlers back then didn't make that much money.
00:14:15.680
Because Hulk Hogan, the main point of the topic was Hulk Hogan was the second person to actually have a taste of what it means to be a canceled individual in the wrestling industry.
00:14:30.780
Every, everyone else, the, the third closest is barely enough to say, Hey, I don't, I couldn't, I, I can't say, uh, for someone whose name was, cause even ultimate warrior, they ended up putting him in the wall in the hall of fame, but he didn't even do anything.
00:14:49.820
Yeah, but it wasn't something egregious or socially egregious.
00:14:56.780
Like before, uh, I think it was a SummerSlam way back in the day.
00:15:00.520
He told Vince he needed like half a million dollars or else he wasn't going to show.
00:15:05.220
And Vince paid him and then he fired him after.
00:15:18.920
It's not, it's not something that's going to be like, I'm canceling your name off of everything.
00:15:26.040
Hulk Hogan was the only other person they did that for.
00:15:30.820
They were kind of like starting to take his name off and editing his name off, stuff like that.
00:15:41.300
Yeah, so if you go on the WDU website and you type in Crested by Y, he ain't going to be nowhere.
00:15:45.200
No, that's why, like, when they talk about, like, one of the biggest examples, Randy Orton, you know, his first, his first championship victory, his main title victory was against Chris Benoit.
00:16:00.180
So, even though Randy Orton, he's meant to have a Hall of Fame legacy and he's going to have a Hall of Fame story.
00:16:08.300
And at the time, he was the youngest world champion at the time.
00:16:12.680
Yeah, youngest world heavyweight champion at the time.
00:16:18.900
See, he came in around the same time as John Cena, but he was a trash like John Cena.
00:16:24.280
But, well, but still the point is, they, they're only, when they talk about Randy Orton's first world title victory, they're only showing footage of him raising the belt.
00:16:35.540
They will never show, they just now kind of showing footage of him pinning Chris Benoit, but you only see the leg.
00:16:47.480
And if you're a wrestling fan, you already know what Benoit's pants always looked like.
00:16:51.780
They always had like weird ass stripes on them and shit.
00:17:04.160
But they only allowed her back because she died.
00:17:20.840
I mean, they let like, there were a couple divas that posed for Playboy.
00:17:28.720
Tori Wilson was like, that's what they marketed her dumb ass as.
00:17:34.180
She was marketed under being a Playboy playmate.
00:17:36.660
They actually recently fired, well, you wouldn't know her, but she was, because she was kind
00:17:42.660
They fired her because she has an OnlyFans account.
00:17:49.140
And NXT is basically WWE's developmental territory.
00:17:57.700
So, um, so yeah, they, and she was a champion, but they had to take the title off of her and
00:18:08.900
Like, did she not think to like run it through a management or some shit?
00:18:16.860
I honestly don't know why, because at the time she was also like, she was getting a huge
00:18:24.660
She, I don't know if maybe it's not enough money, but she was still, but it's long-term
00:18:30.800
and it's like, and it's something that you can like propel to make more.
00:18:33.620
Like the thing that these girls don't get with like the OnlyFans stuff is like, you might
00:18:37.580
get a few months that are good, but at some point it's going to drop off and you're not
00:18:41.960
going to be able to sustain it long-term, especially when you're like toutless, like
00:18:44.540
a lot of these chicks that be on OnlyFans, like bro, like whatever, man, this, this
00:18:49.820
whole like five, 10 years from now, we're going to look at this like OnlyFans era and be
00:18:53.940
like, yo, if you were like, and here's the thing, there's going to probably be like an
00:18:57.020
OnlyFans encyclopedia out there somewhere and they're going to have like a database
00:18:59.920
where they're like, what's your girl ever on OnlyFans?
00:19:02.400
And you could go on there and like search your chick and make sure, make sure she was
00:19:11.240
But anyway, we got a documentary to cover here with Chris Benoit, guys, from YouTube
00:19:21.560
So we'll hit the Rumble Rants and then, um, and, uh, chat and then, and guys, if you want
00:19:25.020
to chat into the show and get your, get a message, uh, heard and read, uh, FNFSuperChat.com
00:19:32.480
Um, it's pinned at the top of the chat as well.
00:19:39.200
He sent that, sent that like about 30 minutes before the show started.
00:19:44.520
We just, like I said, we're making sure that all the stuff was updated for, um, Fed
00:19:48.860
Like I said before, guys, the production quality of the show has went up significantly.
00:19:51.900
Thanks that we got, thanks to bills being in the house, um, a lot more interactive and,
00:20:03.320
Candace Owen said on the full sub podcast, that should be down to come on the pod or you
00:20:09.340
Um, and we are in the middle of making it happen now.
00:20:12.800
Um, I'm just waiting on, uh, the daily wire, I guess, to prove it.
00:20:20.700
Um, can you bear with me in one second here, guys?
00:20:23.320
Cause I know you guys have been asking for Candace Owens for a very long time.
00:20:37.360
Um, you know, she, people, you know, give her a lot of hate, but she says uncomfortable
00:21:12.400
So she's down, but we're waiting on daily wire.
00:21:17.180
Um, Jeremy goes, Candace Owens said on Nelk Pod, she's down to do FNF.
00:21:26.160
But like I said before, um, you guys got, like I said before, I've said this before,
00:21:35.280
And the reason why is because we're very controversial.
00:21:38.060
We've brought on, um, certain guests that are crazy.
00:21:42.700
Um, we've talked about certain topics that, uh, people don't want to talk about.
00:21:49.400
I put on a whole clan outfit and started dancing around.
00:21:59.940
I've always thought that type of stuff was funny.
00:22:02.000
Um, obviously I did it on Rumble and I would never do it on YouTube because you've got
00:22:06.760
Um, and some people didn't like it and that's fine.
00:22:09.040
Um, you know, you don't have to agree with everything that I do, but I really do enjoy
00:22:13.780
I do enjoy bringing y'all content that, um, that, uh, other people are scared to give.
00:22:18.560
And that sometimes comes with consequences and I'm going to understand that and I accept
00:22:22.640
And, uh, you know, it's kind of a part of the game.
00:22:28.760
If we get demonetized or we get canceled or whatever, it is kind of what it is.
00:22:32.800
That's why I'm not even really too mad at YouTube about it.
00:22:35.280
But, um, you know, hopefully we'll reapply, uh, for the monetization in a few months.
00:22:42.560
Um, but, uh, you know, we're going to have to switch up this stuff that we do on Rumble.
00:22:46.560
I mean, sorry, excuse me, that we do on YouTube.
00:22:51.140
Uh, um, what's it called about the elevator music on Rumble that we do.
00:22:56.900
But I mean, you got Zerka running around going crazy saying certain things or advice
00:23:04.500
So we had to put that music on and then we, as soon as it's done, we try our best to go
00:23:08.960
right back to the regular, uh, schedule programming, but we got to play it safe on YouTube and
00:23:16.820
I know a lot of you guys don't want to switch over to Rumble, but that's, that's what it
00:23:19.900
So maybe you guys want to be able to, it's, it's, you get two options.
00:23:22.580
Either A, we stay on YouTube and water down the content significantly and you guys are going
00:23:27.080
to complain or B, we keep giving you all the content on YouTube, but you're going to have
00:23:32.400
to bear with some elevator music here and there and just switch over to Rumble and listen
00:23:35.700
to it all anyway, uh, or C, we just put it all on Locals and y'all will really hate us.
00:23:43.380
Put it all on Castle Club, which I'm trying not to do, which by the way, I want to make
00:23:49.000
Uh, guys, I did not purposely say, oh, let's put a portion of the interview on Rumble, piss
00:23:56.140
you guys off over the weekend and then let's put it on Castle Club.
00:24:00.080
Mo was working all weekend, I was working all weekend and so was our guy Nick working all
00:24:05.840
There literally was an outage on Rumble guys on Friday.
00:24:11.080
If my goal was just to make money and just drag out a Castle Club, I wouldn't have kind
00:24:15.940
of fixed and put it up there for y'all on Rumble today.
00:24:18.380
It was up there by this morning, but you know, I was coordinating with Rumble and Mo and everybody
00:24:23.400
to re-upload it, put it back on and then, you know, switch the video.
00:24:27.220
Uh, and we wanted to give y'all the whole video.
00:24:29.880
Like that wasn't some kind of like scheme or lie by me to, um, to get you guys to go
00:24:35.620
If that was the goal, then why the hell would I post it today?
00:24:38.760
Why would I post any of the videos if that's my whole goal?
00:24:43.180
My main goal is to keep as much of the content as, uh, free as possible.
00:24:48.700
And then you guys go ahead and support us at Castle Club out of the, you know, out of
00:24:53.400
But I want to keep as much content as free as possible because at the end of the day, I want
00:24:56.320
people to find this stuff and I want, uh, people to get value out of it and then, um,
00:25:01.060
you know, save themselves from anything that might happen.
00:25:02.860
That's why we keep our Money Mondays on YouTube as much as we can.
00:25:05.240
That's why I keep most of our videos on YouTube as much as we can.
00:25:07.640
Anything that might be somewhat problematic, we put the elevator music on and keep it on
00:25:11.180
That's why we still put all the videos around Rumble, you know?
00:25:14.540
Like we try to put as little behind a paywall as possible, guys.
00:25:17.540
If you, um, we still got a lot of stuff on behind the paywall, right?
00:25:20.360
We got like almost 800 videos on, uh, locals between all the Patreon videos, et cetera.
00:25:25.200
Um, and older content, uh, but all of them, yeah.
00:25:30.280
And it's all there, but, uh, but I genuinely do like give a shit and try our best to put
00:25:35.840
as much of this stuff out here for y'all, um, you know, in front of the paywall, not
00:25:46.640
Rumble is free and FedReacts is also on Rumble.
00:25:58.480
I mean, it's just like you, you try your best, right?
00:26:00.700
To make everybody happy and give them the content.
00:26:02.660
And it's like, there's always going to be people that complain, but it's like, whatever.
00:26:05.780
Uh, all you can do is go ahead and just give the best that you can.
00:26:14.080
Can you cover the honey trap of Saqib Hussain by his killers?
00:26:18.140
TikTok star, Mahek Bukhari and her mother, Anne Sreen.
00:26:35.500
Myron, you look like the mix between Quan Chi, Mortal Kombat, Deadly Alliance, and Handsome Squidward.
00:26:46.360
Now, if his third body is himself, he can still get in UAV.
00:26:53.600
Big Mo, acknowledge your federal chief, Myron Reigns.
00:27:04.040
Uh, Mo, Benoit top three technical wrestlers of all time with Bret Hart and Kurt Angle?
00:27:07.380
Uh, it's, I get the argument, Bret Hart is the best one, Kurt Angle, I like that.
00:27:19.160
I still say no, but I would've, but Bret Hart was the only one I would've given on the list.
00:27:23.740
Others, I have to give, um, Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson.
00:27:32.040
Uh, and then we got here, uh, world's coolest nerd.
00:27:40.000
That's one of the biggest trolling arguments because they're known as two wrestlers that
00:27:44.420
gets everybody hurt, extremely hurt in the wrong way.
00:28:03.140
CM Punk was actually one of the biggest pointers, point outs of it.
00:28:07.100
Um, but the fact that it kept, his unsafeness kept showing after CM Punk.
00:28:14.780
But it wasn't, but after CM Punk left, it was outside of CM Punk too.
00:28:18.860
See, people, people don't understand, man, that wrestling is actually really hard and
00:28:22.880
Like you need to be able to like sell it without hurting your opponent.
00:28:40.600
Bruh, that, that's, that's like certain people, but the wrestling industry wasn't racist.
00:28:45.760
Yeah, Mark Henry wasn't discriminated because he was black.
00:28:52.700
But it wasn't, it wasn't like the wrestling industry was racist.
00:29:00.840
The wrestling industry and wrestling community was not that racist.
00:29:05.240
Uh, SJP goes, Hogan was mad because his daughter was getting pounded by BBC.
00:29:20.080
He has a right to be pissed off and, you know, be like, yo, I don't want you getting
00:29:26.580
Debbie Milt for his divine wrestling knowledge.
00:30:10.560
And I keep hearing that and I don't know what that means.
00:30:31.100
I mean, if you saw what she looked like back in the early 2000s, it was different.
00:30:54.480
No, she ain't ugly, but like, I mean, compared to what she used to be like, I mean.
00:30:57.620
Well, cause, cause you know, to me, she ain't bald.
00:30:59.800
So that's, it's already like the first barrier, you know?
00:31:10.600
Uh, Stone Cold and Triple H are the two best, greatest, the greatest WWE wrestlers of all
00:31:15.380
If we're looking at impact, longevity and memorable moments, close call, but it's Austin
00:31:21.680
I don't know about Triple H being a greatest of all time, but I will say Triple H is the
00:31:29.080
And also longevity because he, cause he wrestled in almost every era.
00:31:38.280
I'll say he's the greatest heel, not the greatest wrestler though.
00:31:43.540
Uh, since Logan Paul is bought and sold, how soon can we expect to see him dressed in a
00:31:47.860
tutu, tap out to Becky Lynch and make out with Bad Bunny in the WWE?
00:31:55.000
Oh, Ric Flair was recently canceled due to a sexual harassment allegation made back in
00:31:59.260
It was recently featured on Vice, Dark Side of the Ring.
00:32:05.720
Hell, even right now, his daughter is one of the top female wrestlers in the world.
00:32:09.440
And we all know that, you know, Ric Flair is out here going crazy with the, you know,
00:32:20.100
Shout out to my girlfriend for cleaning my room.
00:32:32.520
Uh, mine in the law world, did people mentor you or were the haters trying to keep you down
00:32:38.360
I work in a dealership and there are a lot of people that are selfish and don't want
00:32:42.300
Um, no, they teach you, bro, because the, the, the better agent you become, the less
00:32:52.780
So, um, but I can see in a dealership world how they wouldn't want to teach you because
00:33:01.460
Yomar, completely off topic with Shorty from Friday's panel.
00:33:06.080
The house is the subgenre, just like techno, hardstyle, et cetera, but the entire genres
00:33:21.480
Me and Bills was like, yo, yeah, me, cause me and Bills were, you know, cause we're all,
00:33:27.340
If you don't want to take Myron the word for her, you got two musicians in the back.
00:33:30.400
We was, we was like, yo, Myron, you, you are 100% correct, bro.
00:33:33.880
She's old though, so she, she, she should know better as a, we talking about women.
00:33:39.000
Like, like, like her, like EDM is like a, like a new millennial term and shit like that.
00:33:51.660
I'm getting some rumble rants, but we got some time.
00:33:54.040
Let's go ahead and hit the documentary that we got here, guys.
00:33:57.920
What is your opinion on Goldberg and when he was in WCW?
00:34:00.920
I think he's one of the most overrated wrestlers of all time.
00:34:07.720
They pushed him to WWE and he flopped, which tells you how trashy he is.
00:34:17.960
But when I'm looking back at it, I was like, man, this is, yo, he's pretty horrible.
00:34:26.820
There was a, there was a time he was kind of one of my favorites.
00:34:30.740
But when I was looking back at it, he, the more I look back at Goldberg, the more he kept
00:34:35.760
And plus, he's another, like, not necessarily technically canceled, but he's another hated
00:34:43.180
in the wrestling community because he's the reason why Bret Hart had an early retirement.
00:34:59.200
You know, that's another thing I heard about Goldberg is that he hurts, he hurts his opponents
00:35:10.620
Everybody that, everyone I know that was like a Goldberg fan that would wear like Goldberg
00:35:33.860
I think it was crown jeweled the name, but it was in Saudi and it was Goldberg against
00:35:39.300
Goldberg was trying to do like a, uh, his jackhammer, but he couldn't really keep Undertaker
00:35:45.460
He slipped on himself, but Undertaker upside down.
00:35:50.900
He saw the slip midair, tucked himself and saved his own life.
00:36:03.660
So one of the best in the ring at saving people from themselves and doing stupid shit.
00:36:07.840
Undertaker had to save his own life upside down midair and he saw the slip like literally
00:36:18.100
I looking back at the, uh, that event, I don't know how Undertaker saw it, but he saw it.
00:36:25.680
He got to feel it because the jackhammer, the way the move, the move goes guy, by the
00:36:29.120
way, is Goldberg holds you up in the air like this.
00:36:32.660
And you kind of just like hang like, well, it's on the other wrestler to be smart and like
00:36:40.140
And what, what Undertaker probably noticed was there was like a slip, like he probably
00:36:44.940
noticed like a body thing and he was able to adjust.
00:36:52.020
That's exactly, that was exactly what happened.
00:36:54.540
And because you're supposed to be stiff for like, he holds you up there for like 10,
00:36:58.900
He couldn't, he couldn't even keep him up like that.
00:37:01.300
So it's just Undertaker saw it and he, Undertaker literally made an executive decision
00:37:08.920
Like he had tucked his head and saved his own life.
00:37:15.360
I, I genuinely, one of the most overrated wrestlers of all time, they got pushed.
00:37:22.940
Everyone that I know that listens to that, that like is a Goldberg fan is low IQ and stupid.
00:37:47.400
Let's, uh, let's move on to the documentary here.
00:37:54.140
Nigga almost killed one of my favorite wrestlers, bro.
00:38:07.560
There goes an old saying, the higher you climb, the harder you fall.
00:38:11.600
And this expression applies to each and every one of us.
00:38:14.800
Which is probably why when famous wrestling champion Chris Benoit committed several devastating
00:38:19.380
actions, his descent back to earth would shock a nation and the entire wrestling community.
00:38:26.140
My name is Adrian, and in today's video we'll be talking about the twisted case of Chris
00:38:31.640
Chris was a heavyweight wrestling champion whose time in the spotlight may have led to
00:38:42.860
And by the way, I post solved, unsolved and strange cases here on a weekly basis.
00:38:47.600
So if that sounds like your kind of thing, please consider subscribing to Coffeehouse Crime.
00:38:51.460
And so, with that said, pull up a seat, grab a coffee and sit back.
00:38:58.140
Our case today is a little different to our usual structure, as in this video, we'll be
00:39:12.620
looking into the life of professional wrestler Chris Benoit.
00:39:18.440
He was born on the 21st of May 1967 in Montreal, Canada to parents Michael and Margaret Benoit.
00:39:23.360
But shortly after this, his family made the move to the city of Edmonton.
00:39:27.980
From a very young age, Chris' passion in wrestling blossomed.
00:39:31.340
He followed wrestling religiously, which led to his childhood fantasy of one day becoming
00:39:36.000
And at the young age of 12, Chris began his training journey in order to achieve his dream.
00:39:40.740
His parents supported his decision wholeheartedly, his father Mike buying him his first set of
00:39:45.100
weights so the young Chris could learn discipline and begin weight training.
00:39:48.640
It's around this time that Chris discovered his idols within the wrestling community.
00:39:52.180
Having seen Tom Billington, also known as Dynamite Kid, and Bret Hart perform at local matches
00:39:58.360
Eventually, his dreams became true, and he actually ended up training with Tom.
00:40:02.480
Even adopting some of his fighting mannerisms and signature moves.
00:40:08.480
So, Chris' teenage years were filled with hard work, discipline, and training.
00:40:14.020
Chris Benoit's main moves, guys, his finisher was the Crippler Crossface, which was a submission
00:40:18.780
move that dumbass Daniel Bryan tried to copy, which was disrespectful.
00:40:23.560
But I think a big reason why he was able to take that move is because they pretty much
00:40:34.760
The Yes Lock, which was from Gene LaBelle, which was originally the LaBelle locks.
00:40:39.140
Anyway, so, yeah, the Crippler Crossface, the diving headbutt, he also used to do the
00:40:47.720
The multiple-time German suplex, which you grab the person by the stomach like this, and
00:40:52.220
then you, like, slam them back, like you're like, you know?
00:41:14.100
Chris Benoit is actually one of the reasons why that diving headbutt is known as one of,
00:41:19.900
Like, the wrestling community, when they see a diving hook, they're like, you know, like,
00:41:25.180
I hope this wrestler doesn't do that move so often.
00:41:30.420
You could be doing swan sounds like Jeff Hardy.
00:41:33.480
But people would rather have them land on their backs than literally their head.
00:41:38.600
Because it's going to explain later on, as we're watching about, you know.
00:41:45.400
But, uh, but yeah, a lot of his moves were high risk.
00:41:48.460
...family in their so-called Hart Family Dungeon, which, over the years, has produced several
00:41:56.520
And all of this training paid off, as in 1985, at the age of 18, Chris made his professional
00:42:04.480
His first match was a tag team match, in which he won alongside Rick Patterson, finishing this
00:42:17.520
Moe, if I'm not mistaken, you flip forward, land on them, and you pin them, right?
00:42:30.020
And then you're flipping, you're flipping them, like, doing a front flip, while they're
00:42:40.340
And they're supposed to land on their backs, while you land on your seat.
00:42:44.240
Because that's actually a very hard move to hit.
00:42:51.360
All right, we can keep playing this thing while we-
00:42:56.800
That's why it's very impressive they did that in his first match.
00:43:25.000
If you guys watch our wrestling stream, we did a whole part dedicated to ECW.
00:43:29.200
Where I played the Dudley boys going crazy, making fun of the fans.
00:43:34.660
Because they were saying a bunch of things that you would never be able to say on the
00:43:38.860
But yeah, let's go ahead and show the sunset flip.
00:44:23.560
He ended up splitting his time between Canada and Japan, spending months at a time competing
00:44:30.420
in New Japan Pro Wrestling. And after this, he moved to Mexico and then Germany, gaining experience
00:44:36.140
and notoriety to debut in a professional circuit in America. Throughout his career, Chris achieved
00:44:41.680
numerous titles from the most prestigious wrestling associations, such as World Championship Wrestling
00:44:46.400
or WCW, and WWF, which is now known as WWE. Chris's performance peaked in the year 2004,
00:44:53.880
where he officially won the World Heavyweight Championship. And no doubt, Chris had an
00:44:58.020
astonishing career. But what about his personal life? Chris married twice within his 22-year
00:45:03.560
wrestling career. First to Martina in 1988, with which he fathered two children, David and Megan.
00:45:10.220
However, this marriage wouldn't last. Martina wanted a more simpler lifestyle, something Chris
00:45:15.120
couldn't give her. She didn't... David is actually still alive today. David's the one that still
00:45:20.600
survived. It's only the daughter that passed, that he killed. Okay. Wait, you mean the son?
00:45:27.140
The son. Yeah. He's still alive. Yeah. I actually, because...
00:45:32.680
Oh, oh, yeah. Yeah, his youngest son is who passed away. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:45:37.720
Because he actually still has a son that was actually watching an AEW event.
00:45:42.520
Yeah, who was... Yeah, from a different mother.
00:45:50.340
...once been the spotlight for the rest of her years. Martina also claimed that Chris allegedly
00:45:54.860
also had a problem with steroid use, which often made him arate and hard to deal with. Although
00:45:59.880
she hated this side of him, Martina still loved Chris dearly, and when off steroids, he was
00:46:04.680
described as one of the sweetest men you would ever meet. The relationship was strung along until
00:46:09.420
the year 1997, where the couple eventually divorced. However, this wasn't as clean as
00:46:14.680
the media would like to make you to believe, as in 1997, Chris started an affair with female
00:46:19.280
wrestler Nancy Sullivan. Nancy was the wife of Kevin Sullivan, a fellow high-profile wrestler
00:46:24.940
and one of Chris's peers. It's no secret that wrestling is all part of a show, with a high
00:46:31.640
Just so you guys know, this is WCW days, I think, if I'm not mistaken, right, with this
00:46:38.360
You can see he has the Four Horsemen shirt on. Who was in that group? Him, Eddie Guerrero?
00:46:54.640
It was another good technical wrestler, though. Can you Google it?
00:46:57.640
Or someone in the chat is going to put it. The Four Horsemen.
00:47:31.640
But when he went to WWE, like, they didn't give a shit about him, bro.
00:47:40.640
They didn't specify exactly, but he basically didn't follow an order.
00:47:53.640
So that was Vince's punishment towards Perry Saturn.
00:48:09.640
The love triangle between Chris, Nancy, and Kevin was initially staged.
00:48:13.640
But eventually, Kevin realized that the situation was becoming all too real behind the scenes.
00:48:28.640
Because they also did the whole Lita angle with Edge, and it was supposed to be a gimmick, and then they ended up being real.
00:48:39.640
A situation that would one day lead to heartbreak.
00:48:42.640
The affair led to Nancy divorcing Kevin before embarking on an official relationship with Chris.
00:48:48.640
The rather complicated situation led Nancy to hang up a wrestling kit for good.
00:48:53.640
And instead, she would take a back seat, changing her career path to book and manage plans for her new partner.
00:48:58.640
Chris and Nancy's relationship would jump from strength to strength.
00:49:01.640
And in the year 2000, they would eventually marry, before welcoming their first and only son into the world, Daniel Benoit.
00:49:08.640
Happiness would follow the family for some time.
00:49:11.640
However, in the year 2003, Nancy filed for a divorce.
00:49:15.640
Unfortunately, for similar reasons to Chris's first wife, Martina.
00:49:19.640
Chris worked hard to keep his marriage above water.
00:49:21.640
And upon intervention from their families, he genuinely seemed to realize the consequences of his behavior.
00:49:27.640
As a result, Nancy eventually gave him another chance.
00:49:30.640
It's no secret that the abuse of testosterone and steroids are right...
00:49:35.640
Yo, Mo, does the Canadian wrestling world still acknowledge Chris Benoit?
00:49:49.640
I thought maybe he'd get a little bit more of a benefit in the Canadian world.
00:49:52.640
Because just so you guys know, Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, etc.
00:50:00.640
These guys all get a different reception in Canada.
00:50:07.640
If you're a heel, and you're like from Toronto, and they go do a show in Toronto,
00:50:27.640
From Olympic team controversy, all the way down to your local gym, people often abuse it.
00:50:32.640
This was no different in the wrestling community.
00:50:34.640
People who often want to be big, mean, and menacing, often achieve their goals through artificial means.
00:50:39.640
One of the most well-known and well-documented side effects of steroid use is roid rage.
00:50:44.640
And, potentially, this could be linked to Chris's anger management problems with both of his wives.
00:50:49.640
Wrestlers also face a range of other health problems, too.
00:50:52.640
They put their bodies through constant physical trauma.
00:50:55.640
And they endure more hits than any human should on a frequent basis.
00:50:58.640
Touching upon the more critical areas, this includes strikes to the abdomen, the face, and, more specifically, the head.
00:51:05.640
This continued abuse of their bodies can often have serious health complications.
00:51:09.640
Especially when it comes to critical areas such as a wrestler's head.
00:51:13.640
But Chris wasn't afraid to use his own body as a battering ram.
00:51:16.640
Although Chris would endure these blows on a very regular basis, he would never seek medical attention after his fights.
00:51:22.640
And, instead, he took the brunt of his pain alone.
00:51:25.640
This was, arguably, a foolish move on his behalf.
00:51:28.640
And, in hindsight, it's now speculated if Chris maybe had frequent, if not continuous concussions as a result of these moves.
00:51:34.640
This combination of drug usage and physical damage to the human body are just two of several reasons why being a wrestler has a lower than average life expectancy when compared to other occupations.
00:51:44.640
And, tragically, Chris was no stranger in seeing these consequences first-hand.
00:51:49.640
Throughout Chris's career, he became close to many of his peers.
00:51:52.640
He was known to be friendly, jovial, and a good sportsman.
00:51:56.640
This led to him befriending fellow wrestler Eddie Guerrero while he was staying in Japan.
00:52:06.640
Guys, just so you guys know, Eddie Guerrero was probably one of the most respected wrestlers in WWE history.
00:52:12.640
The thing, though, it's kind of weird because when I grew up watching wrestling, Eddie was always a mid-card guy.
00:52:19.640
He was always, like, you know, in that European champion slash intercontinental champion.
00:52:28.640
Yeah, he was always, like, he was never, like, you know, grappling with the top guys, right?
00:52:32.640
He wasn't with the Triple H's and the Stone Cold's and all this other stuff.
00:52:37.640
He was having feuds at the intercontinental level or the European level, a European champion at the most.
00:52:42.640
So, when they, and does, do they still have the European championship?
00:52:52.640
Because you used to be lightweight champion, European champion, intercontinental, the WWF champion.
00:52:59.640
There was Cruiserweight at a small point in time, light heavyweight, but Cruiserweight was kind of like the kind of known one.
00:53:06.640
They kind of tried to bring it back a little bit.
00:53:20.640
Whenever female matches come on, I just switch over to fucking WCW.
00:53:25.640
At a point in time, they actually called it the bathroom break.
00:53:29.640
I think it was for a long time up between the PG era and up until 2013, it was called the bathroom break.
00:53:41.640
They used to also call, well, you know, what's kept people around was the bra and panty matches.
00:53:53.640
They would never get away with half the stuff that they used to do back in the 90s and 2000s.
00:53:58.640
Like putting chicks through tables and giving women stone cold stunners and rock bottoms like hell nah.
00:54:08.640
Eddie Guerrero is very well respected, even though he was a mid-card wrestler for most of his career in the WWE, which a lot of people don't want to admit that, but he was definitely a mid-wrestler.
00:54:18.640
Like, he was a good wrestler, like very good technician and stuff like that.
00:54:24.640
There's a lot of arguments, which I don't argue against, that he's one of the top technical wrestlers in history.
00:54:34.640
They should have pushed him sooner, in my opinion.
00:54:38.640
A lot of people in the community actually feel the exact same way.
00:54:43.640
The whole lychee and steel gimmick, they did that for too long.
00:54:46.640
He only had one main event world championship stint, but I don't think it was enough either.
00:54:54.640
A lot of people in the community didn't think it was enough.
00:55:00.640
I think another reason, too, why Vince didn't want to push him is because he was small.
00:55:06.640
And Vince is really big on like having tall, really muscular, big guys to be the champion.
00:55:14.640
So that was another thing that Eddie Guerrero had against him was that he was always small.
00:55:28.640
He was big on, hey, lose the weight or you're fired.
00:55:33.640
Actually, and I did forget to mention, there was another...
00:55:36.640
You don't know his name, but his name is Gunther.
00:55:38.640
He was another one of those, hey, lose the weight or you're fired.
00:55:46.640
And now he has his Intercontinental Championship run and he's being pushed to the moon.
00:55:53.640
It's kind of like a reward for losing a ton of weight.
00:55:59.640
Cause a lot of wrestlers get fat, you know what I mean?
00:56:01.640
I mean, are there some wrestlers that are fat that Vince still likes?
00:56:15.640
The Big Show, they would pick on him a lot actually.
00:56:29.640
He was found in a hotel room with his toothbrush in hand.
00:56:32.640
The man had suddenly succumbed to heart failure.
00:56:38.640
In fact, his death hit Chris harder than anything else in his life, as blatantly seen in his televised memoriam.
00:56:48.640
And I know that you're looking down on me right now.
00:56:55.640
It's clear to see that Chris was deeply affected by his friend's death.
00:56:58.640
Just so you guys know, when you're a wrestler, like these guys were, you're on the road 300 days a year.
00:57:06.640
You see each other more than you see the families, your family.
00:57:15.640
So, I know some of you guys, by the way, why is he crying?
00:57:20.640
That was actually one of his best, I think his best friend.
00:57:29.640
And they were together for like, what, 10 plus years?
00:57:41.640
And another thing too, for a lot of you guys, right?
00:57:43.640
Because some people made some comments like, oh Myron, you know, you're gay.
00:57:48.640
We saw you with your white friend, Eric, and he kissed you.
00:57:52.640
Or you were on a bed with him, blah, blah, blah.
00:57:54.640
And it's like, that's how I could tell a lot of people didn't play sports or weren't in the military
00:57:59.640
or did anything like with other men where there's like a unified front or a goal.
00:58:05.640
Anyone that's an athlete, anyone that is in a former military,
00:58:08.640
anyone that was in any type of situation where you're grinding it out with other guys
00:58:12.640
in some kind of competitive atmosphere, that's just how it is.
00:58:17.640
That photo that everyone likes to use and say, Myron, you gay.
00:58:20.640
Like, I was on a training trip and we used to wake up at 5 in the morning.
00:58:27.640
We're actually down here in Florida, Cocoa Beach.
00:58:30.640
And I was asleep and they came and they jumped in the room and like woke me up and stuff like that.
00:58:38.640
But obviously people are going to say, You sleep in bed with other men, blah, blah, blah.
00:58:43.640
But you guys don't understand like how close you'll get with guys that you suffer with.
00:58:52.640
That's how you build that brotherly love is through unified struggle towards a common goal.
00:58:58.640
And yeah, I mean, anytime someone says some shit like that, I'm like, Yeah, that's how I know that you weren't an athlete
00:59:04.640
or you never did anything with other competitive guys.
00:59:11.640
But yeah, that's raw emotion, which you guys are seeing there, because his best friend just died.
00:59:15.640
They spent the better part of damn near, at that point, what, 10, 15 years?
00:59:19.640
Over a decade, at least, minimum over a decade.
00:59:21.640
Well, they knew each other since the 80s, actually.
00:59:29.640
And also, Eddie was one of the most loved in the locker room.
00:59:33.640
So, you know, he never had an issue with anyone.
00:59:36.640
Yeah, he had a great reputation in the locker room.
00:59:44.640
Triple H cried when he saw, after Eddie's death, during the tribute.
00:59:53.640
So, like, you know, I get the haters talking shit or whatever.
00:59:57.640
Like, losers like Tariq Nasheed, who have never played a sport in their life, who are
01:00:04.640
You're a fucking loser and no one respects you.
01:00:08.640
You've been on YouTube for the better part of a decade and still no one knows or gives
01:00:13.640
You know, you just sit there and victim blame and blame Caucasians on all your fucking problems.
01:00:18.640
Like, that's literally making money off of making people feel like victims.
01:00:27.640
You know, I'll take being a Division One athlete and fucking building the discipline
01:00:31.640
that I built over being a fat loser, failure YouTuber, stealing money from people to build
01:00:38.640
And following this loss, those around him agreed that Chris was never the same afterwards,
01:00:44.640
falling into a deep depression that would follow him through until 2007.
01:00:50.640
On June the 19th, 2007, Chris faced off against Deliah Burke.
01:00:57.640
However, he seemed a lot less charismatic and much more out of character.
01:01:01.640
A strange coincidence, as little did everyone know, that this match would be the last time
01:01:10.640
Less than one week later, on the weekend of the 23rd of June, the wrestler was due to
01:01:16.640
However, he would cancel his Friday appearance, claiming that his son Daniel and his wife Nancy
01:01:20.640
were severely ill with food poisoning, and he was busy taking them to the hospital.
01:01:25.640
He insisted to his agent that he would board a flight the next day for his appearance
01:01:36.640
And yo guys, we got 1.6k y'all watching on YouTube and then another 1.2 on Rumble.
01:01:42.640
So do me a favor guys and like the video on YouTube.
01:01:45.640
And if you guys don't mind, open up another tab, like that video on YouTube.
01:01:48.640
Let's get the 1.6k likes if you guys don't mind.
01:01:50.640
They took my last video down that we did on YouTube because they said copyright.
01:01:54.640
So, you know, support the mission man, like the video guys, and obviously follow the
01:02:03.640
...to work with a man named Chavo Guerrero, the nephew of his now dead close friend, Eddie
01:02:09.640
However, as Saturday rolled around, Chavo received a very strange voicemail from Chris.
01:02:24.640
Like I said, I just had a real hard weekend, you know, and just, you know, I had to go
01:02:28.640
to take him, you know, Daniel and Nancy to the hospital.
01:02:37.640
And that was the last I actually talked to him.
01:02:40.640
The two had a rather sporadic conversation, which mostly consisted of multiple phone calls
01:02:47.640
Chavo eventually concluded that Chris would arrive at Houston Airport on Sunday at around
01:02:51.640
8am, where Chavo would then pick him up for their public event.
01:02:55.640
One thing Chavo did find strange was the way in which Chris ended the call.
01:02:59.640
He put great emphasis in saying, hey, Chavo, I love you.
01:03:03.640
Now, Chris and his fellow wrestlers would often say this to each other.
01:03:06.640
But the way in which he said it this time was different.
01:03:11.640
But with their schedule now supposedly confirmed, Chavo tucked himself in for the night, ready
01:03:18.640
However, at 3.53am that very same morning, Chavo was abruptly woken up to a very energetic
01:03:25.640
The alert was a text message from Chris, which read,
01:03:33.640
Just 30 seconds later, he received the very same text message, but this time from Nancy's
01:03:43.640
This was followed by a new text message from Chris, saying,
01:03:46.640
My physical address is 130 Green Meadow Lane, Fayetteville, Georgia.
01:03:52.640
Chavo was obviously perplexed by these messages, they were very strange.
01:03:57.640
But it was 4am in the morning, and he was going to see Chris in a few hours anyway.
01:04:01.640
And so, something he would later regret, Chavo went back to sleep, expecting to see his
01:04:08.640
Very little did Chavo know, that he wasn't the only person to receive these cryptic messages.
01:04:13.640
They were also sent to four other colleagues and co-workers, all saying the same thing or
01:04:19.640
And so, as dawn slowly eroded the night's darkness away, the morning sun rose along with
01:04:23.640
Chavo Guerrero, who was now waiting for Chris at Houston Airport.
01:04:27.640
By 8.28am, Chris's flight had supposedly arrived.
01:04:32.640
However, as time crept by, he was nowhere to be seen.
01:04:36.640
Minutes turned into an hour, then two hours, then three.
01:04:43.640
WWE has strict, like, no-show policies now, right Mo?
01:04:50.640
At least heavy fines, or, well, depending on how you are.
01:04:55.640
If you're not Shawn Michaels, it's either heavy...
01:05:00.640
It's either, even to this day, it's either a heavy fine or straight fired.
01:05:06.640
I know, um, I was watching one show, uh, and they said something about, um, they were
01:05:14.640
saying, they were saying, uh, that like for Raw, oh yeah, I was watching Maven.
01:05:20.640
And, um, basically for Raw, as you guys know, back in the day, I don't know if Raw still
01:05:31.640
Okay, it used to be two hours, it used to be from 9 to 11pm, back in the day.
01:05:38.640
It's still, it's, it's still like that to this day.
01:05:43.640
And like, unless you're a top tier guy, you better show up at 1 o'clock.
01:05:45.640
And there's, and there's times even a lot of the top tier guys is still like, no tolerance.
01:05:53.640
I mean, uh, Batista cut himself one time in a match, during the PG era, they fine him $100,000.
01:06:02.640
I mean, this type of stuff, like not showing up for a pay-per-view.
01:06:15.640
I'm probably not even, especially if it's like a, a WrestleMania or Saudi event.
01:06:21.640
Um, the fine might be heavier or instant fired because a lot of the times when, when they're
01:06:28.640
doing Saudi events, the promoters of the Saudi event specifically demand certain wrestlers.
01:06:37.640
One time they asked for Yokozuna when he was already dead and Vince didn't know what
01:06:46.640
And maybe the Saudi, uh, promoters or the prince was like, I don't care.
01:06:54.640
And was Yokozuna one of the Japanese wrestlers with a mask or?
01:06:56.640
He was technically Samoan, but you know, he had that like Japanese.
01:07:14.640
I'm saying Sin Cara is one of those guys that like, it's a different dude, right?
01:07:17.640
But it's not, it's not even that, but I'm saying Yokozuna was dead long time ago.
01:07:28.640
Well, at least the, the, the top head promoters didn't know.
01:07:32.640
I, I'm sure like a lot of the, the fans knew, you know, but the top promoters, I don't
01:07:40.640
Either they knew or they were like, make it happen anyway.
01:07:46.640
Uh, wrestling is big in the, in the Arab world.
01:08:00.640
Chavo came to the conclusion that this was a no show.
01:08:04.640
Chris had already missed both his Friday and Saturday appearances.
01:08:09.640
As WWE was alerted to Chris's disappearance, they reached out to understand what was going
01:08:15.640
They called his home phone and then his cell phone, but there was no answer.
01:08:19.640
And after checking all local hospitals, still nothing.
01:08:22.640
They therefore decided to leave a voicemail instead.
01:08:30.640
By 11 PM, the team had no idea as to where Chris was, and sadly, none of them were made
01:08:44.640
aware of his strange text messages until noon the next day.
01:08:47.640
Those who had received Chris's text messages had been discreetly quiet, thinking that they
01:08:55.640
But unfortunately, they had no idea as to what was actually going on.
01:08:59.640
Immediately after being notified of these messages, Chris's agent contacted Fayetteville
01:09:04.640
police, where a welfare check was then requested.
01:09:07.640
Hi, I just spoke to one of the other officers there.
01:09:14.640
And one of our wrestlers that lives down there is missing.
01:09:17.640
And he told me to just to say, we need a welfare check done.
01:09:20.640
Yesterday, he was supposed to show up at a pay-per-view and never got on the plane, never
01:09:31.640
So at three o'clock this morning, there was a message left for one of the other wrestlers.
01:09:34.640
And basically it says, uh, uh, the dogs are in the backyard.
01:09:41.640
Lieutenant Larry Alden was the first officer on the scene.
01:09:45.640
Larry already knew of Chris, seeing him at the gym a couple times per week.
01:09:50.640
Let's pull up that address on Google Maps if we can.
01:09:51.640
Making his way to the Benoit family property, he spoke to the neighbor, Holly.
01:09:57.640
I already knew of Chris, seeing him at the gym a couple times per week.
01:10:02.640
Making his way to the Benoit family property, he spoke to the neighbor, Holly.
01:10:06.640
She made the offer to secure the family dogs, as she would often look after them while the family were away.
01:10:13.640
Letting herself in with a key trusted from the family, she stepped in to secure the two German shepherds while Larry waited outside.
01:10:20.640
However, just several minutes later, Holly sprinted out from the house, screaming frantically.
01:10:26.640
While inside, she had found Chris' son Daniel, and he was dead.
01:10:31.640
Police stormed the property, and upon inspection, they would also find the bodies of Nancy and Chris.
01:10:37.640
Nancy was found in the upstairs bedroom, her hands and feet bound.
01:10:41.640
Her body had been wrapped in a towel, with a Bible placed next to her.
01:10:45.640
The cause of her death was ruled a strangulation.
01:10:48.640
Daniel was found in his own bedroom, and unlike his mother, he had not been bound.
01:10:55.640
This suggesting that he was suffocated rather than strangled.
01:11:01.640
And downstairs, in his own home gym, was the body of Chris Benoit.
01:11:05.640
He was found hanging from the top of his lateral pull-down machine.
01:11:09.640
The WWE was notified of the discovery, and the house quarantined as a crime scene.
01:11:14.640
However, upon further investigation, they found no external interference to the household.
01:11:21.640
Upon close examination of the bodies, it became evident that all three of them had died at different times.
01:11:26.640
Authorities concluded that Nancy had died first on Friday the 22nd of June.
01:11:30.640
Toxicology reports found alcohol in her body, and it appeared that she had struggled against her assailant.
01:11:35.640
Daniel was likely murdered the next day on Saturday.
01:11:38.640
He had been sedated with Xanax, and it's likely he was unconscious at the time of his death.
01:11:43.640
And finally, it appeared as if Chris had taken his own life the following day on Sunday.
01:11:47.640
He had killed his wife, and then a son, before turning on himself.
01:11:52.640
Friends, family, and the wrestling community as a whole were mortified and devastated by the news.
01:11:59.640
And before learning of these tragic circumstances, WWE prematurely aired three hour tribute to Chris Benoit.
01:12:05.640
Yeah, I remember this Raw. I watched it live when they did this tribute to him.
01:12:11.640
Matter of fact, I think Vince was like in an empty stadium.
01:12:16.640
And he talked about, because they thought he had gotten like killed.
01:12:19.640
Like he thought like they got murdered or attacked or something like that.
01:12:34.640
Yeah, when you're traveling 300 days, you know, a year, barely any time off, you're getting slant, you know.
01:12:40.640
And here's the thing, people think they just do SmackDown and Raw.
01:12:43.640
No, they do house shows, they do other shows that aren't necessarily televised.
01:12:47.640
So, they're taking a beating man, you know, like a big beating.
01:12:52.640
So, and then you travel on top of that, it's tough.
01:12:57.640
But yeah, they did a three hour tribute, and then they quickly took that shit down, man.
01:13:01.640
They got, I don't even think, can you find that three hour tribute anywhere on the internet?
01:13:12.640
I'll show a part of it, but YouTube will, I mean, WWE will hit us with the copyright so fast.
01:13:26.640
They'll copyright it even faster probably because it's Chris Benoit.
01:13:52.640
While you pull that up, Bills, we can go back to the doc.
01:14:00.640
And guys, also, we only got 795 likes but there is 1.7k y'all watching.
01:14:27.640
Let's make sure that we get, like, quadruple...
01:14:30.640
Let's get four times as many likes on this video that he has viewers, man.
01:14:40.640
Like it's a flex on fucking bum haters like that.
01:14:50.640
Yeah, that's the gate that they were talking about.
01:15:00.640
What I don't know is what, um, in the crime scene photos, uh, because there are some crime scene photos, but it's not...
01:15:15.640
It's just, like, people taking photos of inside the house.
01:15:20.640
There is a room that is, like, decorated for, like, a girl.
01:15:33.640
Maybe his, uh, wife had a daughter from another marriage.
01:15:54.640
But the very next day, after learning of his actions, they backtracked on this decision.
01:16:00.640
With despair over the loss of a wrestling champion, anger and disgust dance simultaneously over the knowledge of his actions against his own wife and son.
01:16:08.640
Confusion ripped throughout the international community, and many were left unable to comprehend Chris's actions.
01:16:14.640
As expected, opinions over the matter spread like wildfire.
01:16:17.640
And the main question left in the middle of all of this was, why?
01:16:21.640
Why did Chris claim the lives of his own wife and son?
01:16:25.640
The question, as a whole, is extremely difficult to answer.
01:16:29.640
And putting it short, Chris is no longer around to share his thoughts or reasoning.
01:16:32.640
As with any celebrity death, conspiracy theories started to crop up.
01:16:36.640
One being the work of an old rival, one being a government setup, and the other being a home invasion.
01:16:42.640
In short, there were many people who couldn't believe that Chris, someone they admired, was capable of doing such despicable things.
01:16:48.640
And while conspiracy theories won't be entertained, there are a few key factors worth mentioning.
01:16:52.640
Chris was a regular steroid user, which is a very common problem within the wrestling industry.
01:16:57.640
But his actions were not consequential of steroids.
01:17:00.640
His actions were methodical and committed over multiple days.
01:17:05.640
Toxicology reports also concluded that the only testosterone found in his body were at therapeutic levels.
01:17:14.640
One which has become much more prominent since the time of Chris's death.
01:17:18.640
And of course, I'm talking about his psychological condition.
01:17:22.640
Chris was well known to take an absolute beating in the ring.
01:17:25.640
He would often slam his head down onto people from the top rope.
01:17:29.640
And was regarded as one of the only wrestlers who could take a metal chair to the back of the head.
01:17:33.640
This repetitive physical trauma to Chris's head had indeed caused physical and psychological damage.
01:17:42.640
No, it's just that Chad just been saying that Chris Bernard did have a daughter.
01:17:47.640
And the house is estimated to be worth $1.5 million to $3.5 million.
01:17:56.640
Yeah, but he also had another house for $400,000.
01:18:01.640
I wonder how much Chris was earning at that point.
01:18:03.640
I mean, he was one of the top WWE stars, so he was probably earning a couple million a year.
01:18:08.640
He was generating a ton of money for WWE, so...
01:18:18.640
Well, while she looks that up, I also want to note that...
01:18:23.640
How they was mentioning diving headbutt and the chair shots to the head.
01:18:27.640
That's one of the biggest reasons why chair shots to the head is one of the most banned moves,
01:18:33.640
not just in WWE, especially WWE, but it's banned in a lot of wrestling promotions.
01:18:41.640
I know other wrestling promotions that doesn't...
01:18:45.640
Even the ones that necessarily don't ban it, they strongly discourage people from doing it,
01:18:52.640
unless it's from like a top 10-year experience or someone who is known to have experience in like the indie circuit.
01:19:00.640
You know, unless you're there, but you know, even in the wrestling community, when they see a chair shot, it's extremely cringe now.
01:19:10.640
Chairs used to be what it was back in the day, bro.
01:19:30.640
And I don't think diving headbutts are banned, but also strongly discouraged.
01:19:37.640
Chris Benoit did just take a lot of chair hits.
01:19:40.640
Unless it is someone like who's known to be an extremely technical 10-year veteran wrestler, like, I know you hate to hear it, Daniel Bryan.
01:19:53.640
He had this concussion injury where he had to early retire.
01:19:58.640
Now they're already like, not even you should be able to do it.
01:20:07.640
I think it was at least over 10 different doctor okays to re...
01:20:18.640
WWE would not allow Daniel Bryan to come back to wrestling unless like, enough doctors okayed.
01:20:35.640
But they were scared of Daniel Bryan because of the CTE.
01:20:58.640
We talked about CTE with Aaron Hernandez in the last two weeks.
01:21:02.640
Yeah, he was the biggest, the worst case of CTE he'd ever seen.
01:21:18.640
He was making way more money than that back then.
01:21:21.640
He was probably generating, he was probably generating WWE like millions.
01:21:25.640
Yeah, but there's no way, but he got paid more than that, bro.
01:21:28.640
He was making no less than 2 million a year at least in 05.
01:21:32.640
He was probably their, he was one of their top guys.
01:21:44.640
Because Austin was already gone and The Rock was in the movie theaters.
01:21:53.640
Shows that he had severe chronic traumatic encephalopathy, also known as CTE.
01:21:57.640
Which, in short, is a progressive and fatal brain disease associated with repeated traumatic brain injuries,
01:22:03.640
including concussions and repeated blows to the head.
01:22:15.640
No, show the full screen with the, uh, well, yeah, take us off and, uh, the chat off
01:22:20.640
just so I could show the people, um, what a healthy brain looks like versus CTE.
01:22:25.640
So you can see here the healthy brain tissue from the study shows no signs of CTE.
01:22:28.640
And then on the right hand side, you got red stands showing a normal protein.
01:22:34.640
So this significantly affects your ability to think straight, make decisions, et cetera.
01:22:42.640
Which we talked about this with Aaron Hernandez as well.
01:22:49.640
Much poor condition that the neurosurgeon who studied his brain concluded that the damage
01:22:53.640
caused to his brain was reminiscent of an 85 year old patient with Alzheimer's.
01:22:57.640
Let's go back a little bit and show again the brains.
01:23:00.640
If you can see in the, the brain that is like, uh, damage.
01:23:05.640
As it's shrunken, it cannot breathe that well because all the, like the, I don't know how
01:23:22.640
It doesn't have like, uh, like a very good, if you show the other one, um, like the blood
01:23:30.640
Because as you can see here, you can see the little dots in the brain.
01:23:36.640
It doesn't have it in these, in this trunk of them.
01:23:39.640
So the lack of oxygen in the blood that makes it like the most brain damage.
01:23:48.640
There's, there's no good blood flow circulation is what she's trying to say.
01:23:53.640
I'm trying to find like a right, the right word for that, but we can't.
01:24:02.640
In fact, Chris's brain was in such poor condition that the neurosurgeon who studied his
01:24:07.640
brain concluded that the damage caused to his brain was reminiscent of an 85 year old patient
01:24:13.640
It's worth mentioning that as modern science advances, more and more data suggests that
01:24:16.640
traumatic brain injuries lead to a myriad of problems.
01:24:19.640
This includes cognitive problems, such as reasoning and judgment, executive functions,
01:24:24.640
such as poor decision-making, behavioral changes, including difficulty with self-control
01:24:28.640
and risky behavior, and emotional changes, such as depression, anxiety, mood swings,
01:24:36.640
Many of these changes, when enabled in the right format, could lead to atrocities such
01:24:41.640
Chris's brain was compared to that of four retired NFL players, all of which who had also
01:24:48.640
And not so coincidentally, all four ended up sinking into depression, violence, and self-harm.
01:24:54.640
Whether or not Chris's actions were a result of a medical condition, depression, rage,
01:25:01.640
However, all of the evidence available suggests that this man ultimately lost the fight with
01:25:07.640
The only thing that is certain in this story is the tragedy behind two innocent people
01:25:13.640
In a case such as this, it's easy to focus our story on the perpetrator who just so happens
01:25:20.640
But just as important, if not more important, were the lives of Nancy and Daniel Benoit.
01:25:25.640
A loving and supporting mother who gave her career for her husband, and a young seven-year-old
01:25:30.640
boy at the very beginning of his life, were murdered by the one man they depended on the
01:25:35.640
In a dark, terrifying, and confusing world, Chris Benoit should have protected Nancy and
01:25:40.640
And, from a psychological perspective, who knows how much of Chris actually stood in
01:25:44.640
front of them on the weekend their lives were snuffed out.
01:25:56.640
Um, and you guys are starting to see a trend here with these CTE cases that it always ends
01:26:02.640
Um, between Aaron Hernandez killing people randomly to Chris Benoit murdering his own
01:26:10.640
So yeah, some semblance that what he did was wrong.
01:26:20.640
But, you know, it sucks because I really liked Chris Benoit growing up as a kid watching him.
01:26:24.640
I really enjoyed his run, uh, tag team run with Chris Jericho.
01:26:28.640
Um, I thought he was a very good technical wrestler.
01:26:31.640
Um, anytime he locked in a crippled crossface, I got super hype.
01:26:34.640
And yeah, I mean, I really enjoyed watching him and one of the best performers.
01:26:39.640
Um, and he definitely put his body on the line.
01:26:41.640
And for, uh, when the, when that news came out, I was like, I couldn't believe it.
01:26:47.640
Uh, he's, he's in my top, he's in my top, he's in my top 20 favorite wrestlers.
01:26:54.640
Maybe top 10, maybe at the end, maybe like a nine or a 10 ish, but I like Chris Benoit.
01:26:59.640
Uh, you know, it just sucks that like, he's canceled a hundred percent.
01:27:04.640
Um, he's also, when it comes to CTE, that's one of the biggest things where NFL now implemented,
01:27:10.640
you know, during the training camps and practices where, uh, they have to put extra outside padding
01:27:17.640
And they have to get checked every now and then, right?
01:27:23.640
Now when a player gets concussion takes, it gets taken extra serious.
01:27:29.640
I really think it's really important for them to get checked every now and then, like the,
01:27:34.640
Um, a lot of people compare this case with Chris Watts.
01:27:38.640
I don't think it's comparable because Chris Watts, um, he didn't have CTE though.
01:27:55.640
Um, these guys were just had brain damage, basically.
01:28:09.640
Uh, can we get the likes up to 1.7 so that we can hit a hundred percent engagement?
01:28:12.640
Um, let's see some of these chats and then we'll close out, man.
01:28:26.640
You're probably a neckbeard fat bastard and you probably never played sports in your
01:28:32.640
I'm willing to bet that you're a fat neckbeard.
01:28:38.640
Like, I wish some of y'all, like, would put a picture of yourselves that are critics
01:28:41.640
because some of y'all are some fucking fat losers talking shit.
01:28:45.640
With zero life accomplishments trying to talk shit.
01:28:55.640
Part of the reason guys like Benoit Guerrero couldn't get a push is partly because of
01:29:00.640
Kevin Nash referred to them as vanilla midgets.
01:29:12.640
Hypnotic goes, the main event of WrestleMania 20 will always be one of the greatest.
01:29:15.640
When Benoit and Eddie Guerrero hugged after the match, it was truly emotional.
01:29:19.640
But you can't find that shit nowhere now, right?
01:29:28.640
I do the same with the jokes, but now this crystal generation can handle the joke.
01:29:36.640
Probably talking about like the teammate thing.
01:29:40.640
I'd love to see you and Angie do a live react to Alex Jones documentary Endgame and keep
01:29:59.640
I didn't know who Alex Jones was until we went to the team cast studio because they have
01:30:03.640
a jar with like a title and then it says when Alex Jones is trying, he has a few dollars
01:30:15.640
Because he lost the lawsuit in the Sandy Hook carries.
01:30:19.640
Jonathan, can y'all cover the Jennifer Pan case?
01:30:21.640
It's about a girl who hired Hitman to kill both of her parents.
01:30:40.640
I'm going to say Mark Henry said the click poop in the rocks food.
01:30:48.640
Kevin Nash, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramon.
01:30:59.640
Myron, can you please introduce Big Mo to your barber of the hairline?
01:31:19.640
Mario Lord, the Hooters wasn't Hootering the chick for the last pod, LMAO.
01:31:25.640
Though you can make the argument that Daniel Bryan didn't steal the crippled crossface
01:31:29.640
from Benoit, but when he takes the flying headbutt too, Benoit is in his grave sounding
01:31:37.640
Because the Yes Lock came from, I think it was a Gene LaBelle.
01:31:42.640
That's why it was actually initially called the LaBelle Lock and Daniel Bryan ended up
01:32:04.640
But he's basically like showing his knowledge here.
01:32:09.640
Stead goes, do you think wrestling develops mental problems for wrestlers because it led
01:32:15.640
Woff, CM Punk, Shawn Michaels with mental issues, WMO, WNGL, Chris's forehead, W, Lil Wayne behind
01:32:21.640
I think W, I actually personally like what WWE is doing, even though, you know, they're
01:32:26.640
taking away a lot of moves, but it's for the good, it's for a good reason.
01:32:31.640
What are, what are the band moves on the list now?
01:32:35.640
I don't know if diving headbutts is necessarily there.
01:32:39.640
Um, there's, I know there's a long list, but, uh, but the biggest one was the Pal Driver.
01:32:54.640
Um, I remember CM Punk did it, but I don't know if he got as much in trouble or he got,
01:32:59.640
maybe he got an okay that I'm not too sure on, but it was wild when I saw it.
01:33:15.640
If Candace always comes on the show, please call her out for involvement in Steven Crowder's
01:33:19.640
situation, considering no one has the balls to do so.
01:33:24.640
Um, the Daily Wire and, uh, Steven Crowder beef.
01:33:27.640
Uh, if she could talk about it, you know, you guys got to understand that she might not
01:33:31.640
Uh, I will always remember this as the event that erased the storyline of Vince that got into
01:33:42.640
Uh, that's what, that's the modern day woman's brain on the right.
01:33:52.640
Um, and again, guys, if you guys want to get heard FNF super chat.com, uh, to my girlfriend
01:34:11.640
Uh, we've been playing the vice dark side of the ring episode that covers Chris
01:34:20.640
Also keep it the good work all the way from the land down under.
01:34:28.640
He was a former NFL player that killed six people and himself.
01:34:36.640
Antonio Brown went crazy when he was on the Valuetainment thing.
01:34:45.640
The main event of WrestleMania 20 will always be the greatest.
01:35:02.640
Uh, Goldberg admitted to giving himself a concussion by knocking his head on the door
01:35:20.640
And there's some last minute, um, rumble rants that just came in too.
01:35:24.640
Uh, while Bills pulls those up, Angie, what are your thoughts?
01:35:33.640
It's just, I don't know, make wear protection and check yourself every now and then.
01:35:38.640
So you will see what you guys have in your minds and your head and your brains.
01:35:52.640
Let's get those rants up and then we'll give the final thoughts.
01:35:54.640
Uh, we need the king of the, uh, we need the king of pop next.
01:35:59.640
Uh, that's going to probably be a two part series.
01:36:01.640
Imagine perk angle coming out to Chris Benoit theme song.
01:36:05.640
Because Kurt angle was addicted to painkillers.
01:36:07.640
Cause he, but even though he would always, he was, he was, he was, well, he left the WWE.
01:36:11.640
He got like, he asked Vince to fire him cause he was so injured.
01:36:18.640
He got, did Kurt angle get to the hall of fame yet?
01:36:25.640
He, he recently, um, got back in good terms with WWE.
01:36:34.640
He needs to be, he needs to be in a hall of fame.
01:36:49.640
They banned Seth Rollins, curb stomp, curb stomp to RKO reversal.
01:36:55.640
It banned it because when you Google curb stomp, um, it's where, you know, cause it
01:37:00.840
shows like the visual of curbs, like stomping someone's head on a curb and it's very graphic.
01:37:18.640
He used to literally kick the back of their head, bro.
01:37:23.640
And that's, and that's not even a banned move either.
01:37:26.640
Um, curb stomp is when, you know, when the opponent is like kind of like on their knees
01:37:29.640
and then what you do, you put your head like on the top of their head or neck or maybe
01:37:38.640
Oh, but it's because when you Google curb stomp, it actually shows a visual of a foot
01:37:44.640
stomping on someone's head on the side of the curb.
01:37:47.640
Oh, but, uh, that actually did get unbanned later on.
01:37:53.640
I meant about his marriage that you guys broke down, not the situation with daily wire.
01:38:06.640
They don't like, um, her comments about his marriage.
01:38:14.640
You guys are going to see some news come out soon.
01:38:17.640
Um, I don't want to disclose, but there's some stuff coming out very soon.
01:38:22.640
Probably this week for y'all on that with the whole Crowder situation.
01:38:34.640
It's nice to know there's, uh, other folks who don't sleep at night.
01:38:38.640
We stay on the grind and that's from a flying raptor.
01:38:41.640
I don't know when, uh, but we will schedule it out for you.
01:38:56.640
Um, and by the way, someone said that like saying, I, I did not say Benoit was not a
01:39:04.640
It's just, I have a different top three, but I recognize he's an amazing technical
01:39:12.640
Um, if someone puts him as the most technical wrestler, I will never argue with them.
01:39:28.640
Um, yeah, guys, uh, we are going to go get some food and check out the new studio.
01:39:37.640
Uh, I want to post it on castle club that I, but I know y'all are going to share
01:39:44.640
I'll think about it, but either way guys, like the video, man, we'll catch you guys
01:39:48.640
Uh, tomorrow we're going to have Steve, our accountant in the house for money.
01:39:51.640
Monday is going to be lit and they're going to have after hours for y'all.
