00:00:08.360 you guys are going to see here why serial killers made it through in the 1970s and not today let's

00:00:14.080 get right into it man i was a special agent with homelands investigations okay guys hsi the cases

00:00:47.000 young slime life here and after referred to as ysl the defendants uh six nine and then this is

00:00:51.940 billy seiko right here now when they first started guys six nine ran with i'm a fed i'm watching this 0.74

00:00:56.720 music video you know i'm bobbing my highlight hey this shit lit but at the same time i'm pausing 0.94

00:01:01.280 oh wait who this right who's that in the back firearms and violent crime aka bush i see violated 0.99

00:01:08.320 you're wanting to stay away from the victim this is the one that that's gonna fuck him up because 0.94

00:01:16.420 this gun is not traceable well it happened at the gun range here's your boy 42 dug right here on the left 0.98

00:01:20.760 okay sex trafficking and sex crimes they can effectively link him to paying an underage

00:01:25.900 girl and the first bomb went off right here

00:01:30.600 inspired by al-qaeda two terrorists brothers the zokar sarnev and tamarland sarnev when the cartel

00:01:41.040 shipped drugs into the country this guy got arrested for um espionage okay trading secrets with the russians

00:01:46.960 for monetary compensation the largest corrupt police bust in new orleans history

00:01:53.040 so he was in this bad boy we're gonna go over his past the gang guys so that this all makes sense

00:02:00.760 all right we're back what's up guys welcome to fed it um today we've got a special episode uh this one

00:02:11.460 is going to be from a different youtube channel a little bit of a different approach but before i get

00:02:15.240 into that guys i got a special guest in the house you guys know her welcome back i'm back yes

00:02:21.220 so again my name is angie angelica but angie for short and i know you guys been saying that i have a

00:02:29.780 broken english and all that stuff yeah i'll try to be better than this time but yes as you guys guessed

00:02:37.100 uh english is my second language so that's why it's so broken and it's so bad so sorry for you

00:02:42.040 that you want to tell them what part of venezuela you're from i'm from manacaibo the hot city or no

00:02:47.920 city some people will call it it's the hottest city that i think you'll find in the caribbean so

00:02:53.160 yes i'm from there there you go fair enough uh so yeah guys uh so i think we got something a little

00:03:00.260 bit different for you guys i'm going to uh share screen with you guys here in a second so you see

00:03:03.780 what we're working with um this is an interesting one this case right here as a matter of fact because

00:03:09.940 we had watched this one uh me and angie watched this one and we're like whoa we should probably do

00:03:14.100 this for um for the audience because this one's going to be actually really interesting it's a

00:03:18.340 little bit different because it's basically a serial killer guys in today's day and age yeah it's pretty

00:03:23.900 recent yes so this is from the youtube channel beyond evil here i'm gonna actually subscribe show

00:03:28.660 them some love this has this channel has some pretty good content man um but it's called the

00:03:32.940 diabolical story of daniel prince all right man so without further ado guys we're gonna get right into

00:03:38.560 this bad boy start breaking it down um you have anything you want to say before we get into this

00:03:41.920 angie no not really um i wasn't much that into this case because it's so recent but it's i mean it's

00:03:50.280 quite interesting too so it's going to what it's quite interesting oh two okay okay yeah her english

00:03:56.440 is trash i know guys i don't even understand her sometimes but uh but yeah anyway i'm trying my best

00:04:03.520 no yeah she's trying she's trying uh so yeah guys we're gonna go ahead and play this documentary

00:04:08.580 for y'all and uh get right into it man there were some good uh takeaways from this thing uh i'll tell

00:04:15.160 you guys here in a second but it brought me down memory lane with some of the stuff the middle-aged

00:04:19.160 man seems to be concerned with the appearance of his vehicle it's just a man parking his suv in the lot

00:04:25.840 of a small town motel nothing out of the ordinary the middle-aged man seems to be concerned with

00:04:31.140 the appearance of his vehicle taking extra care to polish it a bit here and there he certainly

00:04:36.520 doesn't seem to have a care in the world as he walks away that's actually quite amazing since the

00:04:42.580 man daniel prince of bostick north carolina had just brutally murdered an 80 year old woman less than an

00:04:49.880 hour before no one who would have seen him walking down the street to another nearby parking lot would

00:04:56.080 have any idea that a serial killer was casually moving among them satisfied with his kill and

00:05:02.480 enjoying a warm sunny day in south carolina no one would have suspected that he was on his way to put

00:05:09.280 that woman's body in a shallow grave in the mountains of north carolina this was at least his fourth kill

00:05:16.960 thanks to some carelessness on his part it would be his last come with us as we look into the

00:05:23.840 diabolical case of serial killer daniel prince if you tell him to turn that off i will talk to you a

00:05:31.120 little more freely before we begin we would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the loved ones

00:05:38.880 of edna subtles and the other victims discovered in this devastating case

00:05:44.000 this is a crazy case guys um you're gonna see a lot of interesting tidbits here uh that if serial killers

00:05:57.120 of uh of you know before you know the ted bundy's the zodiacs etc if those guys had committed the crimes

00:06:04.240 they committed in today's day and age they probably would have got caught and this guy definitely

00:06:07.280 fell victim to this so one question um yeah to be a serial killer is after one death like it has to

00:06:14.080 be uh how many that's good that's a good question uh i think the way they define it actually is three

00:06:20.000 kills that are done in uh succession that have a similar trait you know let's actually look this up

00:06:25.920 real fast um because there's different definitions based on um yeah what qualifies you for yeah so it says

00:06:34.000 here right i'm looking at it right now let me pull this on the screen for y'all if i can uh hold on

00:06:41.200 oh no my bad guys give me one second it's uh the way that this share screen is it's very okay we're

00:06:50.080 gonna just go screen to bam allow okay so a serial killer is a is typically a person who murders three

00:06:57.280 or more persons with the murders taking place over time uh over more than a month and including a

00:07:01.840 significant period of time between them while most authorities set a threshold of three murders

00:07:05.760 others extend it to four or lessen it to two see so there's different definitions and the psychological

00:07:10.560 gratification is the usual motive for serial killing and many serial murders involve sexual

00:07:14.960 contact with the victim the fbi states that uh the motives of serial killers can include anger

00:07:19.680 thrill-seeking financial gain and attention-seeking and killings may be executed such the victims may

00:07:23.760 have something in common for example demographic profile parents gender or race often fbi will focus on

00:07:28.880 a particular pattern uh serial killers follow based on this pattern this will give key clues

00:07:33.120 into finding the killer along their motives so one thing i will say right that is pretty universal

00:07:37.760 amongst like the most popular serial killers is that um there's no rhyme or reason why they pick their

00:07:42.480 victims typically their victim what i mean by that is they pick their victim based on you know the way

00:07:47.840 they look or where they live or maybe they fit a certain type of mold that they like but there's no real

00:07:53.920 like motive as far as like i hate this person i'm killing them you know it's not like a crime of 0.58

00:07:58.000 passion or something like that typically they fit some kind of mold and the serial killer attacks

00:08:01.680 them right there's some serial killers that had a very specific look and want that they wanted

00:08:06.400 right ted bunny for example attacked women that had dark hair that were young between the ages of

00:08:11.280 18 they were in the university mid 20 in university but he did attack a younger girl that was 13 one

00:08:16.160 time right and actually got it ended up getting him the death penalty uh john wayne gacy attacked young

00:08:20.640 men between 15 to 20 jeffrey damer exactly homosexual men uh uh that were 0.76

00:08:28.000 most of them were african-american or minorities so um you know it it is what it is and then you got

00:08:33.920 some serial killers like richard ramirez who attacked everybody he didn't care men women 0.98

00:08:38.480 children he didn't give a shit race he didn't care and he killed them in different ways so i think um 0.97

00:08:44.960 the the best way to i guess identify a serial killer is they kill and they don't really have a real motive 0.98

00:08:52.400 to kill besides the fact that the victim matches some kind of link that it matches some kind of uh

00:08:58.320 how do i say this look or demographic that they're looking for what do you think yeah well sometimes

00:09:04.560 they have a pattern like ted bundy that will have uh you know these people say and there are studies

00:09:10.560 called ted bundy ted bundy yeah but all right go ahead how do you say it nothing go ahead okay so

00:09:18.800 um you know there are some studies that say that um serial killers sometimes have like

00:09:24.160 um i don't know how you say like sign they sign and they have like yes like oh yeah like a signature

00:09:29.840 way they kill people yeah yeah yeah exactly yeah and so that's a back then that was like a strong way to

00:09:36.480 know um you know like to identify the serial killer yeah no of course like yeah the way they do it uh

00:09:44.320 like the green river killer right he killed a bunch of prostitutes um uh was the other guy sometimes they

00:09:49.200 will leave like clues yes you know um yeah yeah like the zodiac used to leave you know um letters and

00:09:57.440 stuff yeah so everybody has different uh ways that they do it but i think the biggest thing is serial

00:10:04.480 killer basically murders three or more persons sometimes even two um with some time in between

00:10:10.640 and typically the motive right uh the psychological gratification is the motive for the serial killing

00:10:17.040 i think that's a big one that that the motive is more along the signs of them getting some type of

00:10:21.920 gratification versus attacking the victim because they did something to them you know what i mean yeah

00:10:27.280 so um all right let's go ahead and get into this with uh daniel prince

00:10:42.240 the date was august 27th 2021 in the small town of travelers rest near the border between north and

00:10:49.360 south carolina a scenic rural area in the foothills of the appalachian mountains this greenville county

00:10:55.600 south carolina location is a quiet out of the way place and it made a perfect hunting ground for 59

00:11:03.040 year old daniel prince prince working as a handyman had been employed by edna subtles to do some work

00:11:09.840 on her home a repair or two here or there and a relationship between them developed a friendship

00:11:15.920 that brought prince into her realm of trust an 80 year old retired businesswoman and the owner of 0.91

00:11:23.040 a1 freedom bail bonding edna was a fixture in the community vibrant and active she took care to 0.98

00:11:29.920 check up on and assist a number of elderly people in her community as well on this very morning she

00:11:35.520 was scheduled to sit with a homebound friend a friend whose family was counting on her that day

00:11:41.440 edna left her home that morning but never showed up at her intended destination

00:11:46.560 greenville county 911 what's the location of your emergency the thing is a suitor was supposed to

00:11:53.200 show up stay with my mom today and she's in her 80s and she didn't show up we come to our house

00:12:01.120 and we can't get nobody to the door or anything her name is edna buttle it's not like her she shows up 1.00

00:12:09.120 black clockwork that something's wrong in almost all jurisdictions there's an unspoken rule that a

00:12:16.160 competent adult is generally not considered missing until they've been out of contact for at least 24

00:12:21.920 hours very recently however the greenville county sheriff's office had decided to change that policy

00:12:28.640 initially from a sheriff's office standpoint our missing persons were reported by phone

00:12:33.840 we would take a report by phone uh the subtle case we changed some things here uh and the subtle case

00:12:41.360 was kind of in time with that if you will where we were going to respond to every missing person

00:12:48.720 usually it was you know there had to be some extenuating circumstances some type of medical issue

00:12:53.760 members of the sheriff's office were dispatched to make a wellness check on subtle's but could get

00:12:58.720 and that's good because normally guys when they get a missing persons you know they wait a

00:13:02.720 a day or two or a couple of days and the fact that they went ahead and you know followed up right

00:13:07.120 away was was really good police work on their end no answer at the door of her home after obtaining a

00:13:13.040 warrant they entered the property inside they did not find her any evidence of foul play or any clues

00:13:19.840 as to her whereabouts her vehicle was not at the residence that vehicle a champagne colored jeep

00:13:26.000 grand cherokee would prove to be the starting point of suspicions that something terrible may have

00:13:32.000 befallen the woman miss subtles was a pretty well known in the northern part of this county 1.00

00:13:38.720 she was a bail bonding agent she was a tough lady street smart uh had a had a great reputation 1.00

00:13:46.320 here in our area uh she was certainly nobody's fool edna was gone the police put out alerts through

00:13:52.880 all the local media they described her vehicle gave its license and i'm reading an affidavit here on the

00:13:58.320 side guys and it's saying that she was 80 years old man look at this this is the this is actually

00:14:02.560 the affidavit right here from the fbi this ended up becoming a federal case guys but you guys can see

00:14:07.360 right here subtles an 80-year-old resident of traverse rest south carolina was reported missing

00:14:12.000 on august 28 2021 so and we'll go through this affidavit as well uh and in more detail but uh let's

00:14:19.040 keep going with the documentary plate number and warned that she could be in need of immediate medical

00:14:24.960 attention they could not have known that edna had already been killed and taken across a nearby

00:14:31.760 statewide it was seven days before the jeep was found by an officer of a local police department

00:14:37.440 on september 3rd in the parking lot of the best western hotel in the town of travelers rest the jeep

00:14:44.080 had been backed into a parking space concealing the license plate from anyone just driving through the

00:14:48.880 lot after determining that edna had not checked into the hotel members of the greenville county

00:14:54.880 sheriff's office scanned the hotel security footage for the day of the disappearance they

00:14:59.920 found what they were looking for footage of the jeep being driven into the parking lot

00:15:04.960 and the person who got out was definitely not edna subtles a man got out of look at that surveillance

00:15:12.800 camera's already showing it l the car and then began to wipe it down paying particular attention to the

00:15:20.400 inside of the front seat passenger's door and then the door frame and quarter panels he left and then

00:15:26.880 came back quickly to give it one more wipe down and then he walked away leaving the property any number

00:15:33.200 of missing persons cases turn out to have nothing sinister about them some are just a person taking

00:15:38.640 a short trip without telling anyone sometimes it can come from a mental health crisis sometimes just a

00:15:44.320 romantic rendezvous that ran a little long at this moment though investigators realized that any

00:15:50.400 pretense of subtle's willfully being out of touch with those that she knew was probably gone this missing

00:15:57.520 person's case had taken a serious and unsettling turn investigators now had to determine who the

00:16:04.400 mysterious man was and what happened prior to the 1 46 pm timestamp on the security video there were hours

00:16:12.720 still unaccounted for from that morning when subtles presumably left her home to visit and sit with a

00:16:18.320 friend in this day and age security cameras are nearly everywhere and investigators began searching

00:16:24.000 for the pieces of the puzzle that was unfolding before them now with a date and time to work backwards

00:16:30.560 from it was a matter of finding the footage and canvassing locations in the small town until they

00:16:36.000 could pick up a trail working diligently law enforcement what was that it's too easy yeah yeah with the cameras

00:16:42.160 like yeah man look at this man cctk cctk uh tv cameras man was able to piece together video from

00:16:49.360 around the area that gave a timeline for the day's events at 9 22 a.m on the morning of august 27th 2021

00:16:57.680 a security camera video shows a chevrolet cruise pull into the parking lot at a food lions supermarket

00:17:04.080 in travelers rest south carolina just eight minutes later at 9 30 a.m edna settles drives away from her 1.00

00:17:10.800 home in her champagne colored jeep grand cherokee security camera footage from a nearby antique store

00:17:16.960 showed the time of departure and initial direction of travel at 9 38 a.m a man matching the appearance

00:17:23.920 of the individual spotted leaving her jeep at the best western purchases a pack of strawberry yogurt 0.90

00:17:29.840 cups clear as day man that's a bitch at food lion the man uses the store rewards card and investigators 0.99

00:17:38.320 now had his name identifying him as daniel prince that's a bitch a minute later edna settles pulls 1.00

00:17:46.880 into the grocery store parking lot and parks her vehicle near prince's footage shows prince holding a 0.94

00:17:52.880 grocery bag and gesturing to subtle's he then goes to his own car and retrieves a small bag he gets

00:17:59.600 into the front passenger seat of subtle's jeep minutes later the jeep leaves the parking lot with

00:18:04.880 the pair inside four hours pass before there was any more video evidence then at 1 43 pm subtle's jeep

00:18:12.560 is seen driving away from her residence back in the direction of the food lion supermarket minutes later

00:18:19.120 at 2 0 2 pm the jeep pulls into a different part of the parking lot than before prince is shown

00:18:26.480 exiting the jeep from the driver's side door and walking across the parking lot to the chevy cruise

00:18:32.000 he had arrived in prince then moves his cruise alongside of the jeep in the parking lot front passenger

00:18:39.280 door to front passenger door he gets out that's already suspicious there you go what'd you say 0.96

00:18:45.360 gotcha bitch yeah and moves something from one vehicle to the other a closer analysis shows that 1.00

00:18:52.480 it is a person with the starkly blonde hair of subtle's that's it prince then drives subtle's jeep 0.99

00:19:01.680 away and the blonde-haired person is left unmoving inside of prince's car five minutes later prince

00:19:08.720 parks the car at the best western parking lot wipes it down and walks back in the direction of the food

00:19:14.480 lion parking lot at 2 14 pm prince gets back into his chevy cruise with the unmoving subtles and

00:19:22.640 drives away the trail of video evidence goes cold from there but prince's purchase led right to his

00:19:29.040 door the rewards card information provided an address in bostick north carolina about 70 miles away

00:19:35.680 in the rural area of rutherford county north carolina so who was this man daniel glenn prince and that right

00:19:43.760 there my friends is how the feds got involved i explained to you guys before typically whenever

00:19:50.640 you do a crime and it affects interstate commerce like you're traveling interstate to commit a crime

00:19:55.040 bam now you've just invited the feds to get involved in the investigation because um by you traveling

00:20:00.560 interstate you affect the interstate commerce now the feds can come in bam now this way the fbi comes

00:20:05.920 in atf comes in etc typically kidnapping cases like this it would be the the fbi um which we're going to

00:20:11.840 go through that a little bit here in a little bit but uh yeah but if had he just done this crime in

00:20:17.120 south carolina it would have been uh a state case what connection could he have with edna and how did

00:20:23.440 he come to meet with her on that fateful day a native of michigan prince had moved to the north

00:20:29.200 carolina mountains a few years before making his home in one of the many hollers in rutherford county

00:20:34.880 it's a friendly place but one where a person who might want privacy is apt to find plenty of it

00:20:41.200 prince and his wife kk settled in and he began working as a handyman often for elderly single

00:20:48.160 or widowed ladies he had a knack for the work and also for developing relationship with those women 1.00

00:20:54.320 gaining their trust and befriending them this is very common guys with serial killers and murderers

00:20:59.600 they get your trust and then they uh and you know then they betray that down the road this

00:21:04.480 is how ted bundy did it this is how john wayne gacy did it with his victims jeffrey dahmer did this

00:21:10.080 a lot of the you know top serial killers from back in the day they would do this smooth talkers etc

00:21:16.640 prince however harbored a troubled past one that he didn't bring up as a youth he had joined the

00:21:23.040 military to get away from a life that was leading him down the wrong path the stint in the military was

00:21:28.320 short-lived as was his avoidance of a life of crime his criminal records showed charges of

00:21:33.920 assault and battery as well as firearms violations most disturbing was his conviction in michigan in

00:21:40.560 1997 for kidnapping a woman he was hold on sentenced to 13 to 30 years in prison for the crime and served

00:21:50.320 12 years of that sentence before being paroled his parole was terminated two years later and he moved out

00:21:56.480 of the state not long after that before ending up in north carolina detectives now had not just

00:22:02.800 videos and and i think that's another reason why this case ended up going federal guys you don't get

00:22:07.200 parole with the feds you know that's only a state thing and a lot of times you get out early for good

00:22:12.320 behavior so that's what ends up happening a lot of times state cases or state jails get overcrowded

00:22:17.200 state penitentiaries get overcrowded so they let you out on good behavior the timeline but they had the name

00:22:22.880 of a man with a history of boy the feds are doing at least 80 percent of your time kidnapping quickly

00:22:28.560 the greenville county sheriff's department contacted their counterparts in the rutherford county sheriff's

00:22:33.440 department just across the state line probable cause for auto theft had been established at the

00:22:38.880 very least and a warrant to arrest prince and search his property was quickly granted the rutherford county

00:22:45.040 sheriff was more than willing to assist in serving that warrant prince surrendered with remarkable

00:22:50.800 calm to the large number of heavily armed officers who had arrived at his property

00:23:10.480 prince was quickly taken into custody and on to the rutherford county sheriff's department where he

00:23:15.600 was initially interviewed it was obvious from the beginning that prince wanted to run the

00:23:20.880 interview and control the narrative he was arrogant this is very common guys with crooks that think

00:23:26.240 that you know this goes to their delusion a lot of times a lot of crooks are delusional think oh i'm

00:23:32.000 going to get away with this and they just deny it to the end even when confronted with evidence which

00:23:35.600 you guys are going to see here in a second and seemed unfazed by what was happening so investigators let him

00:23:42.560 talk i want to talk to you about august 27 2021 this year what day of the week was that oh it was a

00:23:48.960 friday okay where are you on that day what's your typical fridays like some fridays i go do jobs some

00:23:56.320 fridays i stay home some fridays i go look at jobs i do all sorts of things days run together for me because

00:24:02.320 i don't have a set schedule fair enough whereas the jobs come right okay so specifically the 27th

00:24:09.680 mm-hmm what two weeks ago do you remember where you were at

00:24:20.800 not specifically where do you think you were at

00:24:25.440 i've been going all over the place i've been back and forth to charlotte i've been down to south

00:24:30.240 carolina where's your jobs in south carolina taking you um actually i was down to travelers where's rest but

00:24:36.000 i don't know if it was friday or thursday i know i've been there earlier that week okay

00:24:41.760 but you don't remember which day specifically no it was either thursday or friday what kind of job

00:24:46.000 were you working on i wasn't you wasn't i wasn't this lady had talked to me several times i've been 0.98

00:24:52.480 down to her house two or three times we kind of got to be friends this woman has so many damn problems 1.00

00:24:58.720 mostly her daughter too and what she did oh look it's about to be story time and and this is what um 0.76

00:25:07.040 what the detectives are doing here guys is they're locking him into a story and the reason why this is 0.95

00:25:10.880 important is because they know he's full of crap so they just want him to go ahead and talk get him 0.82

00:25:16.480 flapping his lips get a little bit more comfortable and then lock him into some kind of story so that they 0.98

00:25:20.480 can go ahead and charge him right or excuse me um confront him with the inconsistencies from their

00:25:26.560 investigation remember guys he doesn't know what they have at this point they have cctv footage they

00:25:31.920 got some cell phone information etc so they're going to confront him with it and see what happens i

00:25:36.960 want to say something about you i just said earlier about the aspects of the personality of people like this

00:25:43.120 so uh basically psychopaths tend to have this tendency of um having this um conduct behavior

00:25:51.920 so they tend to be very manipulative and also very charming so the majority of uh charming yeah

00:25:59.920 charming yeah i mean they tend to be like very charming like they they pull up their charms that's why

00:26:07.280 that's why that's why they go ahead and be like oh so secure of themselves and confident in the in

00:26:13.520 the interviews like this good point because you know they have you know they have the charms and

00:26:19.760 they are confident and they are they have the personality because they're so secure of themselves and so

00:26:24.560 confident that i don't know it's it's kind of like an aspect that all psych psychopaths have in

00:26:30.960 common i don't know the background the psychological background of this guy but um you wouldn't be surprised

00:26:36.240 if he's a psychopath yeah fair enough all right let's get back into it watch watch his uh behaviors

00:26:41.600 during this interview guys that is she had me looking at um duct work that she wanted done 1.00

00:26:51.040 because somebody had done duct work for her and she was suing them because they didn't do all the duct 1.00

00:26:57.600 work or something she would call me and have me come down there okay and she was constantly having

00:27:04.480 problems she said she needed to have money at one point in time to help her daughter because her 0.88

00:27:08.960 daughter was in jail then she needed money another time because um what was it the next time 0.99

00:27:18.160 she was hiring a private investigator and if you guys notice he looked down as he was thinking

00:27:22.720 about it right and we did an interview with uh see right here you can see his head going down

00:27:28.080 um we did an interview with andrew bustamante from uh former cia officer and he talked about how

00:27:33.440 when people are lying a lot of times they'll look down and because when you're looking down you're

00:27:37.200 getting into your creative space and we all know if you're telling the truth you shouldn't be getting

00:27:40.880 creative it should be the truth okay versus when people are looking up like this it means they're

00:27:46.560 being more truthful because they're like all right i'm trying to recall and give you all the real facts

00:27:50.080 of what happened so notice how he's looking down here like this because he's trying to think okay

00:27:56.720 how am i going to give a lie that i'll be able to stand by later on when these detectives end up

00:28:03.440 confronting me with these with this story because he knows it's coming this guy's been through the 0.91

00:28:07.600 system before he ain't stupid she was hiring a private investigator because her son-in-law was she 1.00

00:28:15.520 talked to me all kinds of stuff about it we got to be pretty good friends about stuff like that but 0.95

00:28:20.080 she kept so now he's adding a private investigator into this situation like she was blowing me off

00:28:24.800 and i actually doing any work for her she wanted me she was going to have a guy come out and wash 1.00

00:28:28.880 her house and i said well if i'm coming down here to look at other stuff i got a power washer i can

00:28:33.520 wash your house and clean out your eaves for a couple hundred bucks she was going to have me do it 1.00

00:28:38.080 packed my power washer up went down there never did the work because she's i don't have the money right 1.00

00:28:43.440 now i gotta sell a bunch of jewelry i gotta sell a bunch of stuff to go ahead and get more money for a

00:28:48.400 private investigator then she wanted a different private investigator because she didn't like one

00:28:52.480 she had so it's like one excuse after the other how did you meet her initially years ago okay years

00:28:59.440 ago it was somebody giving me her name or number or her my name and number i get passed around a lot

00:29:05.680 okay so it was a years ago thing that's pretty awesome your name made all the way down to traveler's

00:29:10.640 rest south carolina that's good reputation you know solid work all right so

00:29:16.240 so why are we what are you telling this is and now you guys can see the detective has the pictures

00:29:23.360 he's ready to go man he's like okay guys it's so funny how confident he is yep look how he's sitting

00:29:29.440 yep that's not you on the 27th food line parking lot travelers rest

00:29:44.720 that's not you that's me and that's the clear picture from him in the supermarket guys

00:29:50.160 what's that food line august 27th 2021 9 23 okay 22 seconds bring them out yep yeah i went down to

00:30:01.120 food line yeah yeah so what were you doing down there that day um she wanted me to look at some

00:30:07.440 stuff in her house okay and she picked me up at food line because she wanted me with her when she was um

00:30:18.560 um i'm gonna go meet some guy for us for um 0.98

00:30:27.920 dan private investigator okay yeah tell us about that she that damn private investigator keeps coming 1.00

00:30:34.960 up doesn't he well i need to meet her down there okay she was nervous because she says i'm not sure i 0.93

00:30:40.320 trust this guy and she knows i've been in the military and she says will you meet me and i go yeah

00:30:46.400 and i said where do you want to meet she says well he's been talking to me i guess i'm supposed

00:30:51.440 to meet him at a restaurant and um i'm supposed to meet him down near food lion okay so i went down

00:30:59.040 to food lion and she met me and he didn't show up where we went to next and she was been trying to get

00:31:06.400 a hold of him and we noticed how he doesn't he's not going into detail oh where we went to next what

00:31:14.000 did you say where you went like what like bro this story we took her house for about two hours

00:31:24.000 and then we went back to food lion and

00:31:31.040 it just dropped you off and you went home and you just noticed something about pi

00:31:35.440 well she wanted me to see if this guy was going to meet her or if he was supposed to meet her do you

00:31:43.840 know where there was a hotel lobby that he had finally said meet me at the hotel okay she says drive up

00:31:51.840 there and see if he's there and i drove up there and things are starting to sound really squirrely to

00:31:59.760 me notice how he keeps saying and and then he's like manufacturing a story like you could tell this

00:32:06.480 guy's bsing all over the place and she finally said just drop me off so by this moment the policeman 0.99

00:32:13.040 already know that he killed this woman right more than likely they're probably suspecting that

00:32:16.880 yeah okay off at home and if you drive me off at home my daughter will pick me up because they

00:32:22.880 arrested him on the night this woman's been missing since the 27th so you know at that point the

00:32:27.840 likelihood is extremely high that the woman has been the person's not alive after the first 48 hours

00:32:32.640 the chances of solving a murder go down precipitously and i said because i gotta keep going we're

00:32:38.000 finding the person alive for that matter as well yeah this all day so that's y'all uh coming down 25

00:32:45.440 you and her together

00:32:50.720 back back towards the hotel

00:32:55.040 it could be up gotcha because that's her car that's about 13 45 on the 27th okay so that's so

00:33:03.760 you're with her there yeah okay i guess yeah yeah i'm not saying yeah i'm just saying that

00:33:09.280 that could be here it's a different angle but i mean you know we yeah now he's saying i guess

00:33:12.960 because he sees what's happening here watch this car right okay here's y'all in the uh hotel parking lot

00:33:23.360 okay yeah oh look there's y'all you know backing in you know and a couple of different copies of

00:33:30.240 they're backing in and notice how we the detective is saying y'all are backing in just to kind of lock

00:33:35.200 him into saying yeah yeah it was us yeah it was us let's see what happens next backing in yeah oh look 0.99

00:33:44.800 you get out nobody else gets out oh man here we go gotcha bitch i told you that you're walking around 1.00

00:33:53.120 the car yeah you wiped the entire car down because i was worried you were well it's it's starting to 0.99

00:34:00.080 look crazy right now you were worried huh worried there's you walking across the parking lot in front

00:34:08.080 of little caesars and there's you getting back into your car and driving away oh she's with me look

00:34:16.240 man i can't tell you guys how many times i've done this when i was an agent where i show him the 0.99

00:34:24.480 pictures and i'm like listen motherfucker i already know what the deal is all right and you you catch 0.97

00:34:30.480 him in a bunch of lies and then you just confront him which you guys can see here from the from the 0.99

00:34:34.240 detective's body language here now he's leaning in has his hands folded right into tape pose like

00:34:41.440 listen bro i know what time it is i know what's going on here you've been lying to me this whole time

00:34:46.480 i locked you in a story it doesn't make sense we know that you're up to some bs it's confrontation

00:34:52.960 time yep now it's confrontation time which uh you know the detective did a really good job of locking

00:34:58.560 him into some bs story which he fell into hook line and sinker because he didn't know that they had cctv

00:35:02.880 footage and then bam now he's going to start hitting them with the facts we need to know listen dan okay

00:35:13.200 you are a good dude i honestly do believe that that you screwed up years and years ago all right

00:35:21.200 now he's minimizing his past behaviors to make him feel a little bit better about potentially confessing

00:35:27.600 to this okay and now kind of look at these what i just want to look and see what you're talking about

00:35:34.720 let's look at this yeah let me look at this one more time uh you know let me see uh i know i killed

00:35:40.560 this woman and all but let me let me take the look at these pictures again buddy 1.00

00:35:48.960 you're not a bad guy right nobody is saying ted you're some evil twisted dude okay

00:35:58.480 where's right now her family is desperately looking for her she's missing right now yes dan where is 0.77

00:36:06.800 yeah why the hell do you think they're talking to you bro yeah i don't have a clue i dropped her off

00:36:15.120 please listen you did not drop her off at her house we have followed that car the entire day

00:36:22.240 up and down 25. there's a number of minutes that are unaccounted for that are not by her house

00:36:29.920 yes okay which car mine or hers dan stop playing games you know when i got okay i can help you here

00:36:37.600 okay give me a second you gotta let me answer the questions when they're asked when i dropped her

00:36:43.760 vehicle off looking for the guy she said she wanted me to take her and drive around in my vehicle so i

00:36:50.960 left her vehicle i went down to food lion and she was in my vehicle with me and i dropped her oh really

00:36:59.840 okay damn i watched the video she is not the car sits there it sits there man no no not in her car never 0.63

00:37:09.920 my car you did not drop anyone dropped her off in your car what bro what no you took what the 0.98

00:37:20.240 her car stopped the cap yeah man like what's going on the cap off man i picked her back up she sat in 0.97

00:37:27.840 my car and i went back and got her no you did not when are you trying to say please explain explain

00:37:36.000 yourself please explain at which point that we must have missed in the video that you dropped her off why

00:37:44.320 that your vehicle never went back to her house we have your vehicle that silver car going straight

00:37:52.000 up 25 and not stopping at her house that's not true it is true i stopped at her house what's your

00:37:59.680 wife going to think about this well my wife would be very upset if i had done something but i didn't

00:38:04.480 i don't know where edna is i think you do dan no i don't know where it is yes you do no i don't

00:38:14.000 damn and you guys could look at it in his face he's like man these guys got me 0.73

00:38:20.240 let's get back to why you wiped the car down what you said you were worried about what 0.99

00:38:25.760 the only thing i did was because i knew i'd been in and out of her car all the time with her

00:38:31.600 i'm like there is no way in hell i'm gonna just leave this thing here because she's got somebody 0.72

00:38:37.440 that's after her it's not making sense i mean you're the last person to be in a vehicle you 0.86

00:38:42.400 wiped out of a lady that's missing that sounds really fucked up it does it that's why sometimes 0.98

00:38:47.680 you have to say it out to them out loud for them to realize how messed up it is and he's like oh you 0.97

00:38:51.360 know what that is kind of so messed up yeah maybe i shouldn't have said i was worried earlier 0.89

00:38:56.400 here but and then it's as fucked up as it sounds we're having to do it right we're going to do it 0.93

00:39:02.000 right until but we got guys down there now they're holding in about where we think she might be 0.97

00:39:07.200 his story rambled and it didn't really add up but the holes weren't big enough to catch him just yet

00:39:13.760 as the interrogation went on deputies were still at work searching his property

00:39:18.080 the officers there found a formidable arsenal including two ar-15 variants and up to 20 handguns

00:39:26.880 plus a large stockpile of ammunition the serial numbers on both the ar-15s had been removed

00:39:34.640 chapter 44 of title 18 of the united states federal code oh here we go that's an l for you my friend

00:39:40.880 fed time ends convicted felons from owning firearms and here he was with many of them

00:39:48.320 in his possession the removal of serial numbers is also illegal building even more trouble for the man

00:39:55.200 the firearms violations immediately upgraded this investigation to the federal level meaning

00:40:00.800 that prince could be held longer as the investigation continued as the search of prince's house continued

00:40:08.480 more damning now i've talked about this before but i'll tell you guys real quick typically states

00:40:12.560 always have a found possession uh statute for when it comes to firearms but the federal one typically

00:40:18.880 carries more time and it's harder to bond them out so i think the atf actually ended up coming in and

00:40:24.080 charging him for this and fbi got involved as well evidence turned up but not evidence dealing

00:40:30.320 directly with the disappearance of edna subtles this evidence would end up bringing down a serial killer who

00:40:37.040 had lived unnoticed by the surrounding community for years and whose crimes were unknown even to the

00:40:43.920 wife he shared his home with deputies discovered among his possessions the driver's license and passport

00:40:51.840 of nancy rego age 66 a woman from nearby charlotte north carolina rego a widow had been missing since 2017

00:41:01.120 and had only made sporadic email and text contacts with her family members since that time rego or the

00:41:08.480 person who may have been posing as her online always refused to meet directly with family members when

00:41:14.160 asked the same family members would verify that rego red flag doesn't want to meet with family uh oh and

00:41:21.200 prince were supposed to be in a relationship during this time her wallet was also found among his

00:41:27.280 possessions along with financial records that indicated prince's address was now hers prince was

00:41:33.440 also found to have rego's bank card in his wallet it's not hard to see the possibility that rego was

00:41:40.160 dead and that prince had been using her money rose to the suspicions of law enforcement oh boy

00:41:48.000 a separate search warrant had been issued now to look for additional information on rego

00:41:53.760 while the search for settles continued the search allowed for the seizure of the aforementioned items

00:41:59.920 plus a purse that had belonged to rego's mother dolores sellers gore who had passed away in 2017

00:42:07.600 from what had been called natural causes at the time prescription bottles with rego's name on them

00:42:14.560 were also found ones for cyclobenzaprine tramadol and lorazepam all filled in 2017.

00:42:21.840 a black bag was found with more sinister contents that bag contained zip ties a taser device

00:42:30.320 lubricant and crushed pills in a bag labeled ativan the brand name for lorazepam a strong sedative

00:42:37.760 that can be used to slow breathing and even cause death when combined with alcohol or some other

00:42:44.000 substances in custody prince was playing for time and maintaining his innocence when it came to subtle's

00:42:50.960 disappearance on october 9th as prince sat in jail his time ran out prince's wife decided it was time

00:42:59.200 to leave and began efforts to put the home and surrounding property on the market she enlisted a

00:43:05.040 couple of friends to help with cleaning up the property and wrangling together a few chickens and

00:43:09.520 other domesticated birds that were living on the property one of those friends while walking along the

00:43:14.960 outer edges of the property spied a large white bee box deep in the woods at the very corner of the

00:43:21.760 land oh boy kk prince had been unaware of its existence and the contents that her friend found

00:43:30.800 within she quickly called law enforcement to search the box after obtaining another search warrant deputies

00:43:37.680 from the rutherford county sheriff's department found subtle's purse jeep keys rope zip ties and a

00:43:44.320 variety of other small items belonging to her oh man oh here we go a single opened cup of yogurt of the

00:43:54.080 same type and flavor that prince had purchased on that fateful day was also inside the box holy bro what is

00:44:03.120 going on my man out here killing old women and eating yogurt the yogurt cereal killer the yo play

00:44:10.800 cereal killer oh my god nearby was a vehicle's back floorboard panel a black plastic bag and a tarp 0.55

00:44:20.000 the floor panel would match one missing in prince's other vehicle a vehicle that had been taken in for

00:44:25.680 repairs right after subtle's disappearance the repair shop verified that among the repairs was a request

00:44:32.240 to replace that cargo compartment panel matching the one that was found in the woods the trash bag

00:44:38.240 also found at the scene included some personal items possibly belonging to subtles such as jewelry

00:44:45.040 a bracelet and a pair of shoes the items were sent off for testing to the south carolina law enforcement

00:44:50.720 division's forensic services laboratory and the yogurt container came back showing signs that drugs had

00:44:57.520 been mixed with the yogurt those the same here we go traces of drugs included cyclobenzaprine tramadol

00:45:08.000 and lorazepam matching the same pill bottles of nancy rego that were found in prince's home

00:45:17.680 realizing that a piece of linchpin evidence had been found law enforcement brought in a cadaver dog to

00:45:23.920 search the property on october the 10th while the dog and cadaver dogs guys are used to detect the

00:45:30.080 scent of deceased uh bodies of corpses or drugs of human beings and drugs as well

00:45:38.320 not find subtle's body at the site it did alert officers that it detected the scent of human remains

00:45:44.480 at the same location where the panel trash bag and tarp had been found the body had not been located

00:45:51.360 but officers moved with a certainty that they had evidence of subtle's murder sitting in jail prince

00:45:57.600 so far held fast to his story through two interviews he had admitted to knowing subtle's

00:46:03.280 and having to come to traveler's rest to visit her a number of times before

00:46:08.800 he first maintained that on the day of her disappearance he had met up with her driven back

00:46:13.680 with her to her home to discuss and that's important guys could establish is that they actually

00:46:18.240 did me and he knows who she is which obviously even if he lied about that they got on video

00:46:22.640 surveillance so it's very hard to refute that some matters about a private investigator that had been

00:46:27.360 hired to look into her daughter's upcoming divorce he then returned to the best western parking lot

00:46:33.200 alone in her jeep to retrieve his own vehicle and go home he explained that he wiped down the vehicle to

00:46:40.400 keep himself out of the private investigators efforts he stood pat on this explanation thinking no

00:46:46.480 connections had been found that would upend his story now however armed with new evidence law

00:46:52.720 enforcement agents began a third custodial interview with the man it became quickly evident that prince

00:47:00.160 knew he was caught and he moved quickly to control the narrative and as much of the outcome as he could

00:47:06.960 there are things that have to happen and there are things that are going to happen and i'm a realist

00:47:17.360 and i have acceptance with this

00:47:22.720 i would like a little bit of control in how they happen and this is very big guys with serial killers

00:47:30.720 they love to have control over their victims and their situations a lot of them get uh you know

00:47:36.960 sexual gratification from this so even him in the face of losing all control and losing basically the

00:47:43.040 future of his life he still wants some semblance of control and how he you know gives this information

00:47:50.960 that's the thing with psychopaths too yeah a need for dominance right

00:47:54.720 if you tell him to turn that off i will talk to you a little more freely for almost an hour prince

00:48:05.600 confessed to law enforcement stating that he needed to fully disclose his sins he said that he knew he

00:48:13.520 was looking at life imprisonment at best and he quickly made a deal to ensure that he would not see

00:48:19.680 the death penalty handed down to him as part of the deal he wanted to inform them of things that were

00:48:26.320 not on law enforcement's radar and that he would come clean when his attorney was present most importantly

00:48:34.720 he told the officers where they could find subtle's body in may of 2022 prince led law enforcement

00:48:41.840 officers to a piece of ground on a nearby property where they found her body buried but still identifiable

00:48:48.320 still in the custodial interview he went on to explain that he had been involved in the deaths of

00:48:54.960 dolores sellers nancy rego and lee goodman he had confessed to multiple murders a serial killer had been

00:49:03.600 uncovered in the matter of the deaths of dolores sellers and nancy rego he claimed that he had

00:49:10.960 hypothetically assisted euthanizing the elderly sellers hinting that hypothetically this guy

00:49:17.680 rego had been a part of the process he intimated that rego later was bothered greatly by what had

00:49:24.400 happened and had threatened to tell the police rego then became his next victim he disposed of her body

00:49:31.680 did not tell anyone and used the power of attorney that she had given him to have her social security

00:49:37.280 checks routed to his residence oh lee this guy boom buckler's death originally attributed to natural

00:49:44.960 causes was reinvestigated and then declared a homicide the third victim lee goodman was originally 0.88

00:49:52.080 from florida and had disappeared in the time between the deaths of rego and subtle's prince claimed

00:49:58.880 that goodman had attempted to rob him but that it did not work out well and see how how he guys see how

00:50:06.640 he's trying to skirt accountability for murdering these women oh yeah euthanasia here she was gonna 1.00

00:50:12.240 tell on me here this woman tried to rob me here like doesn't want to take accountability for his 1.00

00:50:17.920 actions oh yeah i killed him but you gotta understand man she tried to rob i had a reason to come on bro

00:50:23.760 like come on it's insane still i want to know the motive why he killed the last victim though

00:50:29.600 uh he's saying that she robbed him allegedly or tried to rob him and it didn't end well as he said

00:50:37.600 no but edna uh the main victim oh that's true let's see her body was disposed of in a rural area

00:50:47.760 after he had cleaned up the incident no evidence of a robbery was ever found oh you don't say i'm not

00:50:54.720 surprised prince avoided trial and was sentenced to life imprisonment we certainly want to thank y'all

00:51:04.560 for joining us today as we announce an arrest and subsequent plea deal has been reached in connection

00:51:10.960 with the disappearance and death of edna so she went missing from greenwood county on august the 27th of

00:51:17.920 2021 this investigation uncovers the man responsible a man who has now been identified

00:51:25.760 as a serial killer residing in boston north carolina 59 year old daniel glenn prince he is serving his

00:51:34.480 term with no chance at parole at the united states penitentiary hazelton located in bruce mills west

00:51:41.920 virginia a maximum security prison it is known uh here here he is right here guys here's the

00:51:47.600 inmate locator for him daniel glenn prince mccreary usp life right here and um is he still there

00:51:57.120 it's um actually yeah he's in uh kentucky now pine knot kentucky so they moved them since this uh

00:52:04.880 since this show it looks like

00:52:09.360 wow so they moved them from this virginia that they're talking about now what was that he's never

00:52:14.560 getting out yeah life by its inmates as misery mountain an apt destination for such a man

00:52:23.200 while daniel prince will continue to live out his remaining days his actions devastated families and

00:52:30.080 communities our hearts yeah so now he's in mccreary in kentucky pine knot kentucky it's a high

00:52:36.160 security u.s penitentiary with an adjacent minimum security satellite camp 1500 total inmates here it is

00:52:41.760 right here guys as i said before uh but yeah they moved them and this is um oh they have no visiting

00:52:48.560 it's been suspended probably a riot or something but yeah uh they probably moved them guys since

00:52:53.360 then since it's federal they move prisoners around all the time you know for spacing reasons or whatever

00:52:57.200 may be go out to the victims of the crime knowing that each of them left behind loving families and

00:53:04.720 friends who up until now had no answers as to what had happened to their loved ones still there is a

00:53:12.320 question did daniel prince confess to all of his sins or just a handful of them could there be other

00:53:20.720 victims left behind in places he lived before he got to bostick north carolina and was eventually caught

00:53:27.760 until he decides to say otherwise we have to live with the hope that his trail of terror began and

00:53:34.640 ended with these four unfortunate women so basically an old man killing all ladies yeah pretty much was

00:53:42.800 his motive so here's let's look at some court documents guys on this case um you guys can see

00:53:48.000 here this was the um firearms charge um you guys can see this was um when did they sign this september 29th

00:53:54.640 so right after they did the search warrant at his house and they found the gun possession of a firearm

00:53:57.680 by a person convicted in court of a crime punishable by term of imprisonment exceeding one year and

00:54:02.000 remember they did this to get the guy in prison for longer let me go ahead and enlarge this for y'all

00:54:06.640 real fast this is a criminal complaint all right western district of north carolina because this is where

00:54:11.520 they found the gun this is from travis l campbell atf special agent and this is very simple you know

00:54:16.320 he talks about you know he went to fletzy that's actually where i went as well i participated in numerous

00:54:21.520 crimes etc and then very simple uh on september 9th 2021 offers from the rutherford county sheriff's

00:54:26.880 office executed state search warrant at the residence of daniel glenn prince located at one

00:54:30.320 two five kaiser road bostick north carolina which is within the west district of north carolina the

00:54:35.280 searching officer is located and sees approximately 22 farms from prince residence um and then here's the

00:54:39.600 guns right and then you have to determine that these yeah two these two farms or farms as defined by

00:54:45.280 title 18 united states code 921 uh and then also uh there have barrels uh less than 16 inches in length

00:54:53.840 and then prince was arrested from the scene of the search warrant on state charts for found

00:54:58.640 possession of firearms detectives interviewed prince's wife kathy kilpatrick who all was also

00:55:02.640 at the residence kilpatrick was asked specifically about the two aforementioned farms and she stated

00:55:06.560 they did not belong to her prince kilpatrick or the prince and kilpatrick only are the only known

00:55:10.960 occupants of the subject address mr prince has at least one prior felony conviction convicted of

00:55:16.000 kidnapping and habitual offender on august 22nd 1997 in the sixth district county of oakland county

00:55:21.520 michigan here's the case number and he was sentenced to 13 to 30 years as we discussed before and then

00:55:26.400 bam they just get him on that because he's a final possession can't have the gun so uh and then they

00:55:31.440 sign it and this is the atf that did this case september 29th bam and that got him in prison for longer

00:55:35.840 then the fbi went and followed up later on and they charged him with uh 18 usc 1201 the defendant

00:55:44.160 traveled to interstate commerce and unlawfully seized confined and vingled never seen that world before

00:55:49.200 decoyed kidnapped abducted or carried away edna subtles resulting in her death and let's go ahead

00:55:55.040 and look at the statute here um 18 usc 1201 okay kidnapping right these the this is the kidnapping

00:56:03.680 kidnapping statutes and this is just 1201 flat so and as you guys know i want you to get the keyword

00:56:10.560 here traveled in interstate commerce okay if he had never left north carolina right they the feds

00:56:18.880 wouldn't have been able to come in and take this case but since they did bam as you guys can see fbi

00:56:24.240 did it justin k newsom was affian here uh this was by telephone and this is probably because of you know

00:56:30.320 coveted lame yeah but anyway um and then here we go you know as you guys know introduction agent

00:56:36.080 background this is the agent right here he talks about himself i talk about this is the i love me

00:56:40.480 paragraph where they talk about themselves their training their experience etc um this guy was

00:56:44.640 probably from um let's see here okay so this is a smaller office so since it's a smaller office all

00:56:53.040 the agents do all different types of crime you guys could tell here he did bank robbery kidnapping

00:56:56.480 sale distribution control substance firearms offenses etc this is a rack office which means they're going

00:57:01.360 to have um maybe 10 agents in the entire office if that right because this is a small part of south

00:57:06.320 carolina and they're doing all different types of cases um and then he goes into all the information

00:57:12.560 they talk about edna subtle's 80 year old resident of travelers rest south carolina reported missing on

00:57:17.200 august 28 2021 um and then then he goes into the probable cause each of the facts which we went

00:57:23.440 through in the pot in the uh in the documentary summarizing it but uh but yeah this is basically

00:57:30.000 it and he ended up getting life guys from this and they actually had cell phone information it goes

00:57:34.160 it's a little bit more detail as to what they found right during the course of the investigation

00:57:39.840 uh but if you guys want to actually read this here is the press release right here from it north

00:57:45.120 carolina man sentenced to life without parole in federal prison for the kidnapping and murder of

00:57:48.480 travelers rest woman so and they did the press release and this was on june 22nd 2022 so not

00:57:54.000 too long ago guys about six months ago um but yeah man and then here's the information here's the plea

00:58:00.080 agreement he played guilty uh probably to avoid the death penalty um and here's his plea agreement right

00:58:07.600 here life imprisonment fine of up to 250 000 special assessment fee damn it they put all this stuff here

00:58:15.760 but it's like a thesis yeah pretty much and then here is signing here's the defense attorney his

00:58:23.280 other defense attorney the a usa that did the case and then uh another a usa with the plea agreement and

00:58:29.760 he pled guilty on this on the 15th and then he got sentenced a week later that's the old conviction

00:58:36.080 that he had on kidnapping that woman in 1997 it definitely played into this yeah it got him it got him

00:58:42.320 more time for sure um and they probably gave him life because he had done this before and they

00:58:47.840 filed an information instead of uh an indictment because he probably just you know agreed anytime

00:58:53.200 they file an information guys nine out of ten times i explained this to you how before but it

00:58:56.800 means that the person is cooperating and keep in mind guys that he said that he wanted to show them

00:59:01.600 where the bodies were so this was probably a part of the reason why they didn't need to indict him

00:59:05.520 because he was going to cooperate with them and you can actually look back in the affidavit here

00:59:09.120 um and it says here if i can go back to the interviews uh september 9th september 23rd

00:59:20.160 uh on october 9th let's see here i found it i had seen it let's talk about the yogurt

00:59:29.520 okay bam on october 13 2021 a gco uh gsso uh gcso investigator and i interviewed prince at the

00:59:36.480 rutherford county detention center and prince acknowledged awareness of his Miranda warnings

00:59:39.680 in an interview we informed prince that additional evidence related to subtle's disappearance had

00:59:43.120 been located on his property prince told us he would like to fully disclose his sins and he knew he

00:59:47.600 would likely spend the rest of his life in prison prince told us he would like to come clean through

00:59:52.400 a defense attorney at a later date and could relate details concerning the deaths of five different

00:59:55.840 individuals when asked about subtle specifically prince said he could take law enforcement to within three

01:00:00.720 feet of her body so this right here guys this paragraph is more than likely the reason why

01:00:05.200 they ended up filing an information because he was cooperating and he came back with a defense attorney

01:00:09.920 and gave that information which was probably let him negotiate a plea deal where he didn't get put to

01:00:14.160 death so he's smart guy smart guy he didn't give him all the information there he said no i'm going

01:00:18.560 to come back with my defense attorney give it all which i want so uh so he know what the game is and

01:00:23.520 this is typically what happens when you're with crooks that have been involved in the system

01:00:27.440 but uh you know sad story but this is the yo play serial killer i'm going to call him where he's

01:00:31.600 killing old women and drugging them put them to sleep uh and then stealing their social security 0.97

01:00:36.000 benefits man this dude is crazy uh but angie what are your thoughts on that men also deserve less 0.99

01:00:43.200 men also well serial killers definitely deserve less i agree with that one definitely um but yeah

01:00:49.280 speaking of uh why women deserve less book coming very soon guys uh but anyway guys with that said

01:00:55.120 hope you guys enjoyed that one this one was a shorter one only an hour long uh but you know

01:00:59.200 i i kind of really wanted to bring this to you guys because this is a textbook textbook example of

01:01:04.320 why serial killers don't really get away with crimes with the same ease as they did back in

01:01:09.840 the 70s 80s and 90s cctv cell phones satellites eyewitnesses you know a dna cadaver dogs man all this

01:01:19.440 stuff was not really existent like that back in the day nowadays killers have to be way smarter yeah

01:01:26.080 to do their stuff facts you know if ted bunny and all these other guys were committing crimes the same

01:01:30.880 way they were back in the 70s they would have got caught probably after two or three kills so but

01:01:35.760 anyway hope you guys enjoyed that man uh we'll be covering most cases yeah we will be covering more

01:01:41.360 cases uh oh uh you want to tell the people who we're going to do next uh coming up soon um we'll be

01:01:46.640 doing jody area's case that's quite interesting too and i'm thinking about chris watts oh yeah chris

01:01:54.400 watts yeah yeah because you guys have been requesting those two uh chris watts and jody area so we'll

01:01:59.600 definitely be covering those we're actually going to watch the jody areas one right after this man so

01:02:04.000 the grind doesn't stop we got y'all man uh i know you guys like angie's coast because she actually 0.92
