00:00:00.000 Let me tell you about Jace Medical.
00:00:02.620 Now, according to University of Utah's Drug Information Service, total active drug shortages hit an all-time high of 323 in this year's first quarter.
00:00:13.020 There were 48 new shortages recorded this year just through the month of March.
00:00:19.480 How do you protect yourself against this?

00:01:35.900 Stay up straight.
00:01:39.860 And hold the line
00:01:43.800 It's a new day
00:01:47.200 I turn the ring
00:01:49.660 Welcome to the fusion
00:01:55.380 of entertainment
00:01:58.140 and enlightenment.
00:02:02.100 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:02:05.400 It's Stu in for Glenn here on the Glenn Beck Program.
00:02:10.880 Jeff Fisher going to be joining us as well today.
00:02:12.780 Lots going on.
00:02:13.580 We have, of course, the vice presidential pick
00:02:16.320 that's been out of the past couple of days.
00:02:18.300 You have an assassination attempt
00:02:19.880 on the president of the United States,
00:02:22.060 the former president.
00:02:23.660 And I think because of all this going on,
00:02:26.460 we've lost track of what's going on
00:02:27.980 with the actual current president of the United States.
00:02:30.400 We'll get into that in about 60 seconds.
00:02:31.980 So, you know, look,
00:02:36.260 it's one of these things we've got in our world
00:02:39.140 where pain is not just in politics.
00:02:43.140 Pain can actually be real in your life.
00:02:45.360 It feels like all the pain comes from politics these days,
00:02:48.460 but no, it can come from your body as well.
00:02:51.160 And if you have an issue with pain,
00:02:52.800 everyday pain, pain that bothers you all the time,
00:02:56.000 you should definitely try Relief Factor.
00:02:58.020 It's a 100% drug-free daily supplement
00:03:00.520 that helps your body fight pain naturally.
00:03:03.280 It's developed by doctors,
00:03:04.640 and Relief Factor uses a unique formula
00:03:06.600 of natural ingredients
00:03:08.000 that addresses the inflammation in your body,
00:03:10.520 which is where the pain starts.
00:03:12.080 And it doesn't just mask your pain for a short time.
00:03:14.860 It helps reduce or even eliminate it
00:03:16.860 all day, every day,
00:03:18.540 wherever you're hurting,
00:03:19.760 your back, your neck, your joints, your muscles.
00:03:22.200 In about three weeks or less,
00:03:23.360 you'll see a difference
00:03:24.300 and rediscover what it's like
00:03:25.920 to feel better and live better.
00:03:27.820 So if everyday pain is affecting your life,
00:03:30.580 don't go with the mind-over-matter approach.
00:03:32.780 Try Relief Factor instead.
00:03:35.000 ReliefFactor.com or call 800-4-RELIEF.
00:03:37.960 Save on your first order.
00:03:39.440 It's 1-800-4-RELIEF.
00:03:41.660 Fight pain naturally with Relief Factor.
00:03:44.380 So the Republican National Convention is going on,
00:03:50.020 and that is usually a big news cycle.
00:03:54.080 Everything that happens is,
00:03:55.380 you talk about the RNC,
00:03:57.120 it's one of the big two conventions,
00:03:58.840 it dominates the political news.
00:04:00.760 We also have a vice presidential pick
00:04:02.660 that just happened,
00:04:03.460 and usually when that happens,
00:04:04.880 it dominates the news cycle.
00:04:06.400 We're talking about it for a week or two.
00:04:08.520 It goes on and on and on.
00:04:09.680 Was this the right pick?
00:04:10.440 Was this the wrong pick?
00:04:11.220 Then you also have
00:04:14.060 the former president of the United States
00:04:18.060 who was almost assassinated this past weekend.
00:04:22.040 And when that happens,
00:04:23.380 it's usually, I don't know,
00:04:24.780 months of news.
00:04:27.380 It's not just a one-day story.
00:04:29.380 We're talking about something
00:04:30.500 that is talked about forever, right?
00:04:33.620 You remember where you were
00:04:35.260 when something like that happens.
00:04:37.140 And all that's going on
00:04:38.660 with, at the same exact time,
00:04:41.500 the opposing party
00:04:43.100 can't figure out
00:04:44.920 who their nominee is going to be.
00:04:47.240 Well, he's figured it out.
00:04:49.000 He has figured it out, Jeffy.
00:04:50.860 Jeff Fisher joins me
00:04:51.940 here on the Glenn Beck program.
00:04:53.020 He's figured it out.
00:04:53.780 Yeah, Biden has figured it out.
00:04:55.840 He has figured out
00:04:56.800 that it's going to be him.
00:04:58.720 And he keeps saying this
00:05:00.680 over and over and over again.
00:05:03.020 And everyone seems to ignore him.
00:05:06.500 And this is...
00:05:07.660 I hate to say this
00:05:09.200 because we've all been
00:05:09.980 through this situation
00:05:10.700 with family members.
00:05:11.620 But this is what happens
00:05:12.980 when you hit this period of life.
00:05:15.760 When you hit the season of life
00:05:18.040 where you're old enough
00:05:19.700 that the people around you
00:05:21.720 start ignoring your requests.
00:05:27.120 Right?
00:05:27.640 They start hearing
00:05:29.620 what you're saying
00:05:30.720 but not acting upon
00:05:32.520 what they've heard.
00:05:33.420 Right?
00:05:33.980 Yeah.
00:05:34.320 If you think about
00:05:35.560 you have an older relative.
00:05:38.620 They hit a situation
00:05:39.960 where they may be infirmed
00:05:43.060 and no longer can remember.
00:05:44.420 Make decisions
00:05:45.180 that are appropriate.
00:05:46.500 And then one day
00:05:47.440 they ask you
00:05:48.140 if they can go
00:05:49.420 on a drive
00:05:50.220 in their car
00:05:51.160 to pick up their medicine
00:05:52.520 at the pharmacy.
00:05:53.980 And what is normally said
00:05:55.640 is, oh yeah, yeah, absolutely.
00:05:58.440 Well, in a little bit
00:05:59.600 we just need to...
00:06:00.520 I need to do a couple things
00:06:01.680 and then we'll go.
00:06:02.940 And then you just hope
00:06:03.800 they forget.
00:06:04.700 Right.
00:06:05.020 That is what's happening
00:06:05.800 with Joe Biden right now.
00:06:07.440 He is in a situation
00:06:08.500 where his own party
00:06:10.800 has started treating him
00:06:12.640 like he's a dementia patient.
00:06:15.080 Like the things he's saying
00:06:16.360 he doesn't mean.
00:06:17.420 Well, his inner circle
00:06:18.620 and himself
00:06:20.100 have not let it go.
00:06:21.680 No!
00:06:22.260 I mean, they have not
00:06:22.700 let it go at all.
00:06:23.540 It's going to be me.
00:06:24.400 It's going to be Joe.
00:06:25.220 And that's where we're at.
00:06:26.420 Yeah.
00:06:26.900 And it's funny
00:06:27.540 because maybe the best example
00:06:29.380 of this is Nancy Pelosi
00:06:31.000 who I might remind you
00:06:32.300 is older
00:06:33.320 than President Biden.
00:06:35.780 This is not like
00:06:36.720 the 45-year-old son
00:06:39.040 or daughter
00:06:39.700 grandson
00:06:41.420 granddaughter
00:06:42.380 saying,
00:06:42.900 oh, grandpop
00:06:43.740 no, you can't go
00:06:44.540 in the car anymore.
00:06:45.900 I'll bring you
00:06:46.500 the ice cream.
00:06:47.320 No.
00:06:48.320 This is someone
00:06:49.080 older than Biden
00:06:50.360 who is saying,
00:06:51.920 hey,
00:06:53.080 maybe it didn't
00:06:53.820 make that decision yet, Joe.
00:06:55.860 Almost trying to
00:06:56.560 talk him out
00:06:57.440 of the decision
00:06:58.000 he's made
00:06:58.800 so that they have
00:06:59.820 this sort of recourse later.
00:07:01.000 Right.
00:07:01.380 And there was reporting
00:07:02.020 yesterday
00:07:02.480 that
00:07:04.120 Joe Biden
00:07:05.960 had a call
00:07:07.900 with
00:07:09.480 a bunch of Democrats
00:07:10.960 who were skeptical
00:07:12.200 of his run.
00:07:13.740 And this is something
00:07:14.720 that has happened
00:07:15.260 over the past couple of weeks.
00:07:16.540 Sure.
00:07:16.780 He talked to all the governors.
00:07:18.000 He talked to,
00:07:18.500 you know,
00:07:18.680 they all want to talk to him.
00:07:19.840 They all want to talk to him
00:07:20.600 and say,
00:07:20.940 hey, what are you doing?
00:07:21.620 And hoping that
00:07:22.800 either they'll talk him
00:07:23.840 into stepping out
00:07:24.700 of the race
00:07:25.140 or
00:07:25.800 they can get
00:07:27.960 some sort of assurance
00:07:29.040 that might make them
00:07:29.800 feel okay
00:07:30.340 about what's going on,
00:07:31.360 which I think basically
00:07:32.280 at this point is impossible
00:07:33.320 because there's too much
00:07:34.460 evidence, right?
00:07:35.580 They should have never
00:07:36.340 nominated this guy
00:07:37.200 in the first place.
00:07:37.720 I mean, he said,
00:07:38.540 watch him.
00:07:39.360 We are.
00:07:40.200 Yeah.
00:07:40.840 Okay.
00:07:41.260 Gotcha, Joe.
00:07:42.100 We are.
00:07:42.780 Yeah.
00:07:43.020 Oh, we're watching.
00:07:43.820 We have been,
00:07:44.360 but now they are.
00:07:45.460 And this is a side point.
00:07:46.480 I appreciate you
00:07:47.220 bringing that up, Jeffy,
00:07:47.980 because he keeps saying,
00:07:50.200 look, I have a test every,
00:07:51.580 a mental acuity test every day.
00:07:53.120 Just watch me.
00:07:53.860 Just watch me.
00:07:54.340 I'm dealing with these
00:07:54.900 big things every single day.
00:07:55.940 And that's normally
00:07:57.160 a good place to go, right?
00:07:59.400 Because, of course,
00:08:00.300 it's a high-pressure job.
00:08:01.380 There's a lot going on
00:08:02.120 for the president.
00:08:03.340 The issue with this
00:08:04.360 specific thing
00:08:05.340 is that before the debate,
00:08:07.540 he had a 36% approval rating.
00:08:10.380 It's not like the guy
00:08:12.020 was hitting home run
00:08:13.560 after home run
00:08:14.420 before the debate.
00:08:15.500 Now, it's dropping
00:08:16.600 even farther, of course,
00:08:17.960 after the debate,
00:08:18.860 and God only knows
00:08:19.480 what it is now.
00:08:20.300 We don't have any polling
00:08:21.060 since he tried
00:08:23.180 to kill his opponent.
00:08:25.520 But,
00:08:26.340 I can't even believe
00:08:27.600 this is what we're doing.
00:08:29.640 But, I mean,
00:08:30.300 this is a guy who
00:08:31.640 keeps trying to
00:08:33.960 push himself back
00:08:35.320 to this idea
00:08:36.660 that he had a good
00:08:37.760 presidency so far.
00:08:39.180 He has not.
00:08:39.940 No.
00:08:40.380 This has been a catastrophe
00:08:41.500 from day one.
00:08:42.980 And sadly,
00:08:43.340 he's got a lot of days left.
00:08:44.960 Yeah.
00:08:45.120 You know,
00:08:45.660 he does.
00:08:46.200 That's the scary part.
00:08:47.360 But think about
00:08:48.120 where he was.
00:08:49.640 A guy with a 36%
00:08:50.860 approval rating.
00:08:51.600 And what's happened is
00:08:52.420 since the debate,
00:08:54.520 the Democrats
00:08:55.040 approached this
00:08:55.880 a very specific way.
00:08:56.920 They basically said,
00:08:58.040 we're not going to say
00:08:58.780 you're terrible,
00:08:59.920 we want you out,
00:09:00.620 because that means
00:09:01.260 we have to abandon
00:09:02.140 all of our policies
00:09:03.540 at the same time.
00:09:04.340 We can't say
00:09:04.960 that the presidency
00:09:05.540 was a failure.
00:09:06.700 Plus,
00:09:07.440 Joe Biden,
00:09:08.160 if we go after him
00:09:09.020 that way,
00:09:09.380 is going to dig
00:09:10.120 in his heels
00:09:10.580 and stay.
00:09:12.040 So,
00:09:12.440 what do we do?
00:09:13.440 We flatter him.
00:09:14.880 We say,
00:09:15.840 you've been fantastic.
00:09:17.380 These three and a half years
00:09:18.360 have been amazing.
00:09:19.860 50 years of service
00:09:21.020 has been incredible.
00:09:22.200 You're going to be
00:09:22.820 a living legend
00:09:23.860 if you just stepped down.
00:09:24.880 And they went after
00:09:25.660 the flattery route.
00:09:26.760 Well,
00:09:27.380 Joe Biden
00:09:28.140 has bought
00:09:28.940 the flattery.
00:09:30.640 And his answer to
00:09:32.060 should I step down
00:09:33.200 is,
00:09:33.500 what are you talking about?
00:09:34.520 You just said
00:09:35.520 I was one of the best
00:09:36.240 presidents of all time.
00:09:37.260 Everything is wonderful.
00:09:38.300 He now is saying
00:09:39.200 he's achieved
00:09:40.320 more in three and a half years
00:09:42.180 than anyone
00:09:43.320 since at least FDR.
00:09:45.600 And I don't know
00:09:45.900 how Barack feels
00:09:46.780 about that.
00:09:49.740 I'd love to know.
00:09:50.600 Barack let his boy
00:09:51.820 George Clooney
00:09:52.580 post the op-ed
00:09:54.400 of Joe being terrible.
00:09:56.280 That went through Barack.
00:09:57.480 Yeah,
00:09:57.780 went through Barack.
00:09:58.200 That did not,
00:09:58.840 that didn't just,
00:09:59.680 George Clooney
00:10:00.440 just didn't drop that.
00:10:01.540 No,
00:10:02.340 that's very true.
00:10:03.040 I mean,
00:10:03.440 it's an interesting
00:10:05.200 back and forth here.
00:10:07.020 So now you have
00:10:07.520 a situation where
00:10:08.500 Biden is,
00:10:11.480 has had these extra days
00:10:13.120 where people
00:10:13.720 won't talk about this
00:10:15.920 because of course
00:10:16.660 what happened
00:10:17.060 with Donald Trump.
00:10:18.400 And Biden is trying
00:10:19.380 to dig his heels in
00:10:21.060 and his claws
00:10:21.800 and hold on to power
00:10:22.920 every single way he can.
00:10:24.440 He had this call
00:10:25.260 with I think
00:10:26.240 it was something
00:10:26.500 like 50 Democrats.
00:10:27.720 Oh wow.
00:10:28.480 A big call.
00:10:29.680 And there's been
00:10:30.940 this progression
00:10:31.660 with Biden
00:10:32.440 over this period
00:10:33.320 where Biden
00:10:34.060 started out
00:10:35.320 saying,
00:10:36.140 look,
00:10:36.520 I don't agree
00:10:37.540 but I want to,
00:10:38.560 you know,
00:10:39.060 I want to calm
00:10:40.180 the waters a little bit.
00:10:42.380 Have these people,
00:10:43.120 I'll talk to them,
00:10:43.820 I'll say,
00:10:44.080 I understand your concern.
00:10:45.200 Let me show you
00:10:45.800 what I'm going to do.
00:10:46.400 I'm going to go out
00:10:46.860 and I'm going to do this interview.
00:10:47.600 I'm going to do this press conference.
00:10:48.660 I'm going to do all the things
00:10:49.980 you've been demanding
00:10:50.700 that I do
00:10:51.200 and I'm going to show you
00:10:52.100 how incredible I have you.
00:10:52.760 Watch me.
00:10:53.300 You got it.
00:10:53.760 He's an old guy.
00:10:56.460 He's lost patience
00:10:57.480 with this process.
00:10:58.520 He's come to the point now
00:10:59.640 where I'm done.
00:11:02.280 How many times
00:11:02.820 do I have to say this?
00:11:03.560 Right.
00:11:04.020 I'm the president
00:11:04.600 of the United States.
00:11:05.340 I won the nomination.
00:11:06.340 I don't have to answer
00:11:08.940 to you guys anymore.
00:11:10.060 So they popped him
00:11:11.080 on a call
00:11:11.660 with a bunch of people
00:11:12.840 where he...
00:11:15.980 Went well?
00:11:16.920 It did not go well, Jay.
00:11:18.620 Oh, no, no.
00:11:19.440 You're going to be surprised
00:11:20.420 to hear that it did not go
00:11:21.820 very well
00:11:22.500 because he is angry
00:11:24.720 at this point.
00:11:26.020 I mean,
00:11:26.660 he's having a real struggle
00:11:28.140 with anger issues anyway.
00:11:31.480 I mean,
00:11:32.120 his interview
00:11:32.660 with Lester Holt,
00:11:33.720 which I, you know...
00:11:34.520 We got to get into that.
00:11:35.480 I mean,
00:11:35.960 it was angry.
00:11:37.560 His speech
00:11:38.480 at the NAACP
00:11:40.160 was angry.
00:11:42.340 Yeah.
00:11:42.580 And what little bit
00:11:43.400 he didn't mumble
00:11:44.240 and stumble
00:11:44.840 and bumble through that.
00:11:46.060 He was, you know,
00:11:46.780 yelling and screaming.
00:11:47.960 I mean,
00:11:48.180 that's where he's at.
00:11:49.300 Yeah.
00:11:50.180 Unify.
00:11:51.020 That's...
00:11:51.420 When you see that,
00:11:52.720 I think unity.
00:11:53.860 Yeah.
00:11:54.180 But this is what happens, right?
00:11:55.120 You're an old person.
00:11:56.180 You're in the throes of,
00:11:58.160 God knows,
00:11:58.700 some terrible ailment
00:12:00.060 that is not going to reverse.
00:12:02.380 You get angry.
00:12:03.460 I've had relatives
00:12:04.240 who went through
00:12:05.240 a dementia situation
00:12:06.960 and I remember
00:12:08.200 one in particular.
00:12:10.540 Look,
00:12:11.400 he just turned into a jerk.
00:12:13.500 I mean,
00:12:14.020 it was sad.
00:12:15.820 We all understood
00:12:16.520 why it was happening,
00:12:18.060 but it was...
00:12:18.640 Didn't make it any better.
00:12:19.500 He wasn't chill at all.
00:12:20.480 Didn't make it any better.
00:12:21.460 Right.
00:12:21.800 He was like insulting
00:12:22.760 and, you know,
00:12:23.600 he would insult his wife.
00:12:25.200 This is, you know,
00:12:26.400 a few generations.
00:12:27.480 This was a relative of mine,
00:12:29.300 but, you know,
00:12:29.700 this is...
00:12:30.520 It was multiple generations
00:12:32.360 older than I was
00:12:33.240 and he was,
00:12:33.900 you know,
00:12:34.060 in the last days of life.
00:12:35.200 This is what I was like,
00:12:35.820 I'm maybe in high school
00:12:36.500 and I remember him
00:12:37.520 just being a jerk.
00:12:39.180 Like,
00:12:39.360 his wife would come in
00:12:40.260 and he'd just insult her.
00:12:41.700 His son would come in,
00:12:43.820 he'd just blow him off
00:12:44.920 and be a total jerk to him.
00:12:46.320 It was like,
00:12:47.000 it wasn't he would forget everything.
00:12:48.660 His attitude totally changed
00:12:50.140 and I don't know.
00:12:51.500 I don't think...
00:12:52.520 It's important to understand
00:12:53.340 that Joe Biden
00:12:53.900 has been a jerk
00:12:54.920 his entire life.
00:12:56.140 This is not a guy...
00:12:57.620 They always bring him out,
00:12:58.400 oh,
00:12:58.760 he loves to shake
00:13:00.180 everybody's hands.
00:13:00.960 He's been a jerk
00:13:01.800 his entire life.
00:13:02.620 He's been lying
00:13:03.420 his entire life.
00:13:04.880 He's derailed
00:13:05.900 multiple times
00:13:06.980 the country
00:13:07.480 to a bad direction.
00:13:08.780 This is not someone
00:13:09.660 who's had a 50-year service
00:13:11.580 of wonderful...
00:13:12.860 of a wonderful
00:13:14.400 public record.
00:13:15.600 Right.
00:13:15.740 He's been a jerk
00:13:16.640 and he's hurt the country.
00:13:18.240 I feel bad for him
00:13:19.280 going through this,
00:13:20.000 but let's be clear
00:13:20.760 who this man is.
00:13:22.040 So he gets on this call
00:13:23.120 yesterday.
00:13:25.020 Or actually,
00:13:25.620 this is a few days ago now.
00:13:27.260 And...
00:13:27.820 But the reporting
00:13:28.500 came out yesterday.
00:13:29.460 Okay.
00:13:30.180 And his staff
00:13:31.740 is noticing
00:13:32.540 that he's no longer
00:13:34.300 even attempting
00:13:35.120 to win these people over.
00:13:36.360 He's just become
00:13:37.340 a jerk to them.
00:13:38.840 Right?
00:13:39.140 He's now just...
00:13:41.160 He's obstinate.
00:13:43.240 So this is pre-Lester.
00:13:45.700 Right?
00:13:45.940 No, this is...
00:13:46.800 Yes, this is pre-Lester
00:13:47.860 and pre-shoot...
00:13:48.720 We should point out
00:13:49.300 pre-assassination attempt.
00:13:51.080 Okay.
00:13:51.480 So this is a massive detail here.
00:13:53.540 So he's going through this call
00:13:54.760 and it's not going well at all.
00:13:56.720 And his staff
00:13:57.800 comes over to him
00:13:58.680 and says...
00:14:00.000 Hey, dude.
00:14:01.620 You know,
00:14:01.820 this is what you do, right?
00:14:02.640 We've done this with Glenn
00:14:03.980 a hundred times.
00:14:04.940 Dude,
00:14:05.260 what are you doing?
00:14:06.380 Relax.
00:14:06.660 You slip a note.
00:14:07.780 You kind of try to redirect
00:14:08.840 the conversation.
00:14:09.800 Yeah, come on.
00:14:10.620 So they slip him a note
00:14:11.940 and it says,
00:14:12.560 stay positive.
00:14:13.840 You're sounding defensive.
00:14:16.360 Right?
00:14:16.520 Okay.
00:14:16.860 Stay positive.
00:14:18.280 This happens behind the scenes.
00:14:19.780 Unity.
00:14:20.180 Unity, Joe.
00:14:20.840 We're here.
00:14:21.240 The problem is,
00:14:22.640 it was a note
00:14:23.280 that Biden's aides
00:14:24.280 handed to him
00:14:25.000 during a call
00:14:25.560 with members
00:14:26.040 of the Congressional
00:14:26.860 Progressive Caucus,
00:14:28.460 which the president
00:14:29.180 immediately read out loud
00:14:30.760 on the call.
00:14:32.300 So can you picture...
00:14:33.240 Amazing, first of all,
00:14:33.700 that he can read it
00:14:34.560 because he has a real problem
00:14:35.760 with the translation
00:14:37.200 of reading what's
00:14:38.000 on the teleprompter
00:14:38.840 that comes into his brain
00:14:40.240 and then what he says.
00:14:41.200 Oh, and we're going to get
00:14:41.720 into that here in a moment.
00:14:42.820 So then, obviously,
00:14:44.960 he could read it.
00:14:45.780 Whoa.
00:14:47.300 Stay positive.
00:14:48.680 So he's in the middle
00:14:49.800 of this call
00:14:50.180 and he's like,
00:14:51.200 and, uh, look,
00:14:51.680 you got to make sure
00:14:52.500 I'm staying in this race.
00:14:53.920 That's awesome.
00:14:54.360 Stay positive.
00:14:55.180 You're sounding defensive.
00:14:56.920 And everyone's like,
00:14:58.040 wait a minute.
00:15:00.960 What?
00:15:01.840 So he actually blurts that out.
00:15:03.540 Their excuse,
00:15:04.460 as they always have,
00:15:05.500 is some retroactive excuse.
00:15:07.500 They said,
00:15:08.000 two people familiar
00:15:08.760 with the call said
00:15:09.580 Biden intentionally
00:15:10.700 read the note out loud
00:15:11.780 for a moment of left.
00:15:12.820 Oh, right.
00:15:13.620 Okay, yeah,
00:15:14.040 I did it on purpose.
00:15:15.240 Not real at all.
00:15:16.180 So let me tell you
00:15:17.540 how bad this call went.
00:15:18.440 That's awesome.
00:15:19.800 This call went so badly
00:15:21.260 that after the call ended,
00:15:24.540 there were notes
00:15:25.820 and, you know,
00:15:26.980 emails being passed around.
00:15:29.460 They expected 50,
00:15:32.380 50 Democrats
00:15:33.740 to come out
00:15:35.340 in the next few hours
00:15:36.680 and say Joe Biden
00:15:38.140 was supposed to step down
00:15:39.360 and needed to step down.
00:15:40.660 50.
00:15:41.380 Wow.
00:15:41.860 Now we're at,
00:15:42.320 like, I don't know,
00:15:42.960 14, 15 at this point.
00:15:44.280 Yeah, we were in the teens.
00:15:45.040 Something like that.
00:15:45.880 But that's still
00:15:46.300 a pretty low number.
00:15:48.440 50 were supposed
00:15:49.640 to come out
00:15:50.300 and say,
00:15:51.820 hey,
00:15:52.300 it's time for Joe Biden
00:15:53.360 to step down.
00:15:54.820 One hour later,
00:15:57.260 a bullet
00:15:57.800 hit Donald Trump's ear.
00:15:59.840 Assassination attempt.
00:16:00.940 An hour
00:16:01.360 after that call.
00:16:03.060 So this is how close
00:16:04.360 he was
00:16:05.240 to potentially losing
00:16:06.860 this nomination.
00:16:08.300 Now,
00:16:08.860 he doesn't have to step down
00:16:10.140 because 50 Democrats
00:16:11.280 say he should.
00:16:13.320 In fact,
00:16:13.660 if I were him,
00:16:14.780 I'd say,
00:16:15.220 screw you guys.
00:16:16.020 Absolutely.
00:16:16.640 He's already in.
00:16:17.320 I don't care.
00:16:17.860 You can all say that.
00:16:18.960 I'm president.
00:16:20.080 And I got Jill here.
00:16:21.860 I got Hunter here.
00:16:22.820 We're in.
00:16:23.420 That's all we need.
00:16:24.200 And I will say,
00:16:24.740 this is a very Jeffy approach
00:16:25.900 when it comes to this stuff.
00:16:27.380 You're darn right.
00:16:27.620 Like, you just stay in.
00:16:28.420 You're in.
00:16:28.680 I'm in.
00:16:29.300 If you're Bob Menendez today,
00:16:31.640 you're staying in.
00:16:32.820 Absolutely.
00:16:34.300 He got robbed.
00:16:35.360 That was his wife.
00:16:36.140 Anyway.
00:16:36.860 So you just go with it,
00:16:38.000 right?
00:16:38.320 You stay in it.
00:16:39.920 But the assassination
00:16:41.040 attempt happens.
00:16:41.940 This, of course,
00:16:42.500 buys him time.
00:16:44.020 I do expect
00:16:45.240 one more wave of this
00:16:46.900 to try to get him
00:16:48.160 out of this race
00:16:48.900 before the actual
00:16:50.580 nomination process,
00:16:51.400 which they're trying
00:16:52.260 to go ahead with early,
00:16:53.560 which is fascinating as well.
00:16:55.060 I mean, that's what,
00:16:55.260 you know,
00:16:55.720 Lester even asked him,
00:16:56.960 right?
00:16:57.060 He got angry with Lester
00:16:58.000 about what happens
00:16:59.020 if you have another episode.
00:17:00.940 Oh, I don't plan
00:17:02.560 on having another episode.
00:17:03.380 We should play that out.
00:17:04.020 That wasn't the question, sir.
00:17:05.400 We should play that out.
00:17:07.120 Because that whole
00:17:07.780 interview wasn't crazy.
00:17:09.280 I know you're,
00:17:09.860 Jeffy is a,
00:17:10.620 has this weird
00:17:11.500 fan club interest
00:17:13.220 in Lester Holt
00:17:14.240 and has for many years.
00:17:15.960 I do like Lester.
00:17:16.720 He's so bad.
00:17:17.160 It is one of the
00:17:17.720 strangest things about you
00:17:18.880 and there are many.
00:17:19.500 We got robbed of a job
00:17:19.920 a while ago
00:17:20.440 and I was for him.
00:17:21.700 That's true.
00:17:22.660 You were very,
00:17:23.220 very for him.
00:17:23.800 I will say that
00:17:24.740 because of all the stuff
00:17:26.260 we discussed
00:17:26.700 at the beginning of the show,
00:17:27.640 the BP pick,
00:17:28.520 the RNC,
00:17:29.440 the assassination.
00:17:30.000 People totally forgot that
00:17:32.460 to the extent that
00:17:33.300 I will admit
00:17:33.720 I didn't even watch it live.
00:17:35.480 We had talked about
00:17:36.560 doing a YouTube live
00:17:38.200 after the Lester Holt interview
00:17:39.300 because it was such a big deal
00:17:40.300 and I didn't even watch
00:17:41.600 the thing live.
00:17:42.360 I didn't even get to it.
00:17:43.180 There was too much
00:17:43.660 other stuff going on.
00:17:45.240 Yesterday,
00:17:45.800 I decided
00:17:46.320 to sit down
00:17:47.720 and watch the interview
00:17:49.020 beginning to end
00:17:49.880 and only
00:17:51.540 the media cycle
00:17:53.460 of all of these other stories
00:17:54.540 has saved Joe Biden.
00:17:55.640 This was one of the worst
00:17:57.160 interviews I've ever watched
00:17:58.420 in my entire life.
00:17:59.140 From the go.
00:17:59.660 Yeah.
00:18:00.320 It is almost
00:18:01.600 on the level
00:18:02.300 of the debate.
00:18:04.320 All right.
00:18:04.820 Let's get to that
00:18:05.320 here in a second.
00:18:06.060 888-727-BECK.
00:18:08.020 It's a stew
00:18:08.540 with Jeffy
00:18:09.420 in for Glenn Beck today.
00:18:11.080 He's sick,
00:18:11.600 by the way.
00:18:12.240 Hopefully,
00:18:12.560 he'll be back tomorrow.
00:18:14.740 Let me tell you
00:18:15.040 about the Tunnels
00:18:15.460 to Towers Foundation.
00:18:16.540 There are far
00:18:17.240 too many veterans
00:18:18.200 who are out there
00:18:19.360 and who've served
00:18:20.120 our country honorably
00:18:21.160 but who are now homeless
00:18:23.040 or at risk
00:18:23.680 of becoming homeless.
00:18:24.900 That's unacquiettious.
00:18:25.640 Unacceptable.
00:18:26.340 Glenda Williams,
00:18:27.000 a U.S. Army veteran
00:18:27.940 who faced homelessness
00:18:28.820 along with her five children,
00:18:30.760 was struggling
00:18:31.280 to keep up
00:18:32.000 with her rent
00:18:32.520 and basic living expenses.
00:18:34.300 She and her children
00:18:35.100 lived in a run-down
00:18:36.200 apartment unit
00:18:36.900 with rodents,
00:18:38.020 mold,
00:18:38.680 broken windows,
00:18:39.580 and broken
00:18:40.000 electrical appliances.
00:18:41.320 How does this stuff happen?
00:18:42.760 The Tunnels to Towers Foundation's
00:18:44.300 Homeless Veteran Program
00:18:45.860 provided Glenda
00:18:47.060 and her children
00:18:47.920 not only a shelter
00:18:48.820 but also a safe
00:18:50.260 and secure environment
00:18:51.240 in which to thrive.
00:18:52.520 Glenda has since
00:18:53.340 returned to school
00:18:54.200 to pursue a degree
00:18:55.200 and her children
00:18:56.160 are excelling
00:18:56.780 in their studies.
00:18:57.840 Imagine what it means
00:18:58.620 to a veteran like her
00:18:59.520 to know that people
00:19:00.880 like you and I
00:19:01.740 are out there
00:19:02.260 and care about them,
00:19:03.700 are heroes,
00:19:04.640 and their families
00:19:05.400 need help.
00:19:06.140 And Tunnel to Towers
00:19:06.880 is stepping up
00:19:07.520 every single day.
00:19:08.240 It's a great organization.
00:19:09.880 For Glenda's family
00:19:10.660 and so many others
00:19:11.860 like them,
00:19:13.420 it's really up to us
00:19:14.480 to make the difference.
00:19:15.600 Donate $11 a month
00:19:16.880 to Tunnels to Towers
00:19:17.700 at T2T.org.
00:19:19.580 It's T2T.org.
00:19:21.020 T, the number two,
00:19:22.300 T.org.
00:19:23.360 It's Tunnels to Towers,
00:19:24.600 T2T.org.
00:19:26.480 10 seconds.
00:19:26.940 Station ID.
00:19:27.340 Okay, so we have
00:19:39.360 the setup here
00:19:40.460 for this Lester Holt interview.
00:19:41.980 I'm going to do
00:19:42.300 a bunch of this
00:19:42.720 on Studos America
00:19:43.460 tonight because
00:19:44.300 we can't miss it.
00:19:45.680 I'm now at the point
00:19:46.840 where I'm several layers
00:19:48.300 behind the news
00:19:49.240 and I'm not going to
00:19:50.060 let all this stuff go.
00:19:51.680 I refuse to let
00:19:54.280 things like this
00:19:55.300 Lester Holt interview go.
00:19:56.780 I'm not going to do it
00:19:57.740 because it's really,
00:19:59.160 really important
00:19:59.600 and I don't care
00:20:00.300 if it's a day or two
00:20:01.120 behind when the interview
00:20:02.000 happened.
00:20:02.600 The clips I've seen online
00:20:03.640 do not do that
00:20:04.720 interview justice.
00:20:05.660 No, they do not.
00:20:06.720 No, they do not.
00:20:07.680 And I will say
00:20:08.100 maybe worse
00:20:09.240 than the Lester Holt interview
00:20:10.960 was the speech
00:20:12.360 Joe Biden gave
00:20:13.300 at the NAACP yesterday.
00:20:15.440 And it got buried.
00:20:16.900 The man is incoherent
00:20:18.720 and he is totally
00:20:20.780 out of it
00:20:21.440 and he doesn't
00:20:23.020 even know the details
00:20:24.500 of his own policies
00:20:26.460 at this point.
00:20:27.700 Well, yeah.
00:20:28.160 So let's get into this
00:20:29.040 here in a second.
00:20:30.160 Because he can't see.
00:20:31.000 He can't see.
00:20:31.720 He can't process
00:20:32.520 what's on the screen
00:20:34.020 into his brain.
00:20:35.340 So even if I give him
00:20:36.900 the benefit of the doubt
00:20:37.660 that he knows his own policy
00:20:38.880 barely,
00:20:40.580 he's just supposed to read
00:20:41.620 what's on the teleprompter
00:20:42.440 and he can't.
00:20:43.760 He can't.
00:20:44.240 That is so true.
00:20:45.760 He can't do it.
00:20:45.900 What they tried to do
00:20:46.940 was shelter him
00:20:48.480 so that no one,
00:20:49.380 the old basement campaign
00:20:50.700 idea,
00:20:51.560 have him pop on
00:20:52.660 and do a bunch of things
00:20:53.780 off the teleprompter.
00:20:54.680 We can get through it.
00:20:55.620 Right.
00:20:56.140 An understandable request
00:20:57.320 if you happen to be,
00:20:58.500 you know,
00:20:59.220 a demon who is running
00:21:01.040 his campaign
00:21:01.700 and trying to get this
00:21:02.620 dementia riddled person
00:21:04.980 to be president
00:21:05.880 for a little bit longer.
00:21:06.860 So if you're that person,
00:21:08.520 understandable approach.
00:21:09.820 He can read the thing
00:21:10.680 will be fine.
00:21:11.600 He can't read it anymore.
00:21:13.360 He can't do it.
00:21:14.020 He can't process it.
00:21:15.400 Nope.
00:21:15.780 He doesn't even understand
00:21:17.760 when he's making mistakes.
00:21:20.080 No.
00:21:20.540 And this all sounds like,
00:21:22.580 oh, well,
00:21:23.240 oh gosh,
00:21:24.740 can you believe this guy?
00:21:26.320 Our country,
00:21:27.560 our lives
00:21:29.020 are at stake here.
00:21:30.720 There is a situation.
00:21:32.440 Russia had a big threat
00:21:33.400 again today
00:21:34.280 about how they might
00:21:35.740 just start a war
00:21:37.000 with us
00:21:37.460 if we do something
00:21:38.180 that's wrong
00:21:38.720 by their eyes.
00:21:40.760 And the people
00:21:42.000 managing this
00:21:43.100 are Joe Biden
00:21:44.720 and Kamala Harris.
00:21:46.440 Now that was a terrible,
00:21:48.580 terrible idea
00:21:49.300 two years ago.
00:21:50.780 What it is now
00:21:51.880 is a recipe
00:21:53.440 for all of our children
00:21:54.640 to explode.
00:21:55.780 That is what it is.
00:21:57.660 That is how serious
00:21:59.820 this is.
00:22:01.440 And I'm not
00:22:02.840 like overstating this.
00:22:04.280 The next
00:22:04.900 five,
00:22:06.200 six months,
00:22:06.780 whatever it is
00:22:07.200 to January 20th,
00:22:08.720 we are in
00:22:10.100 serious danger.
00:22:12.440 We are,
00:22:12.580 but the good thing is,
00:22:13.440 and I mean this
00:22:14.300 in all seriousness,
00:22:15.280 the good thing is
00:22:15.900 is that
00:22:16.260 they see Trump
00:22:17.260 coming too.
00:22:18.340 And so
00:22:18.900 you don't want to
00:22:20.280 step on that.
00:22:22.320 I mean,
00:22:22.660 I'm hoping and praying
00:22:24.020 that's the case.
00:22:24.760 I think that's true.
00:22:25.640 I do think
00:22:26.480 you're seeing
00:22:27.060 a little bit
00:22:28.040 of people saying,
00:22:28.800 okay,
00:22:28.980 this is just
00:22:29.980 around the horizon.
00:22:30.920 If we hold back,
00:22:32.020 I think number one,
00:22:33.120 maybe things will calm down,
00:22:34.340 which is crazy to say
00:22:35.460 with Donald Trump
00:22:36.140 as your president,
00:22:36.800 but it's true.
00:22:37.860 And number two,
00:22:38.420 we don't want to
00:22:39.100 piss that guy off.
00:22:39.960 He looks like
00:22:40.380 he might do
00:22:40.780 something about it.
00:22:41.600 So we'll get into that.
00:22:42.600 888-727-BECK
00:22:44.220 is the phone number.
00:22:45.420 It is Stu
00:22:46.200 with Jeff Fisher
00:22:47.260 of the Fisher.
00:22:49.340 What is it called now?
00:22:50.220 Chewing the Fat
00:22:50.820 with Jeff Fisher?
00:22:51.860 Great podcast.
00:22:53.980 I mean,
00:22:54.360 it used to be called
00:22:54.860 the Fisher Files
00:22:55.720 and all sorts of things.
00:22:57.460 Don't miss it.
00:22:58.020 Subscribe to his podcast.
00:22:59.080 Make him happy for once.
00:23:00.380 Hey,
00:23:00.720 you know your car,
00:23:01.660 the one that just broke down
00:23:02.620 on the highway
00:23:03.040 and had to be brought here
00:23:04.580 to the repair shop.
00:23:05.520 Well,
00:23:06.400 here's the thing.
00:23:07.200 That car has gone
00:23:07.960 to live on a farm.
00:23:09.360 It's sad.
00:23:10.000 It'll be fine.
00:23:10.660 It's just not a farm.
00:23:11.720 It'll get to run
00:23:12.420 and play with the animals
00:23:13.380 and drive around.
00:23:14.400 And it'll be happy.
00:23:17.280 In the meantime,
00:23:18.060 of course,
00:23:18.300 you're probably going
00:23:18.680 to need a new car
00:23:19.360 because the cost
00:23:20.200 to actually fix yours
00:23:21.060 is way more
00:23:22.040 than it's worth.
00:23:22.940 Sorry about your luck.
00:23:24.180 But for almost two decades,

00:24:28.220 Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program.
00:24:33.180 It's 888-727-BECK.
00:24:35.140 I'd love to get
00:24:35.540 some of your calls today.
00:24:36.660 How are you feeling
00:24:37.620 right now?
00:24:38.740 How are you feeling
00:24:39.680 after watching
00:24:40.400 the president
00:24:41.680 you likely wanted
00:24:42.620 to be the next president
00:24:43.960 almost be assassinated?
00:24:47.300 You know,
00:24:47.640 where were you?
00:24:48.480 What was going on?
00:24:49.400 What do you feel
00:24:50.000 for the future?
00:24:50.900 I get the sense
00:24:51.820 that most people
00:24:52.480 at this point
00:24:53.040 feel like this is going to be
00:24:54.560 a landslide.
00:24:56.460 Like,
00:24:56.960 Biden was already bad.
00:24:59.200 He's showing
00:24:59.700 that he's falling apart.
00:25:00.820 There's turmoil
00:25:01.380 on the Democratic side.
00:25:03.080 J.D. Vance,
00:25:03.860 I think most people
00:25:04.820 on the right
00:25:05.140 like the guy.
00:25:06.000 He's young.
00:25:06.720 He's energetic.
00:25:07.960 He's had a great family.
00:25:09.160 He's had a great story.
00:25:10.060 Great story.
00:25:11.540 And then,
00:25:12.080 in addition to that,
00:25:13.000 you have the fact that
00:25:13.940 people are literally
00:25:14.840 shooting at Donald Trump.
00:25:16.560 And not only does he get shot,
00:25:18.520 he then steps up
00:25:19.860 with blood on his face,
00:25:21.440 raises his fist,
00:25:22.300 says fight.
00:25:22.960 I mean,
00:25:23.120 it all feels
00:25:24.180 feels like
00:25:26.560 we're three and a half months
00:25:28.580 away from a landslide.
00:25:29.820 But I'd love to know
00:25:30.640 what you're thinking,
00:25:32.640 how you're feeling
00:25:33.400 about this.
00:25:33.940 888-727-BECK
00:25:36.040 is the number.
00:25:37.300 That is pretty incredible
00:25:38.280 that,
00:25:38.860 you know,
00:25:40.780 him having the presence
00:25:42.100 of mind
00:25:42.620 to stop
00:25:44.040 and raise his hand
00:25:45.560 to the audience
00:25:46.040 to let them know
00:25:47.000 he's okay,
00:25:47.880 say fight,
00:25:48.920 say I'm not dead.
00:25:50.120 It was pretty amazing.
00:25:51.400 Now,
00:25:51.520 I will say,
00:25:52.240 it's annoying.
00:25:52.960 Should it have happened?
00:25:53.860 No.
00:25:54.040 No.
00:25:54.540 Now,
00:25:54.780 it's annoying
00:25:55.320 that I work
00:25:55.800 with Glenn Beck
00:25:56.400 every day
00:25:57.320 and for a multitude
00:25:58.460 of reasons
00:25:58.940 that many
00:25:59.460 that you're aware of,
00:26:00.340 of course,
00:26:00.660 Jeffy.
00:26:01.460 But I will say
00:26:02.720 my initial reaction
00:26:03.760 to that was,
00:26:05.440 it's the most
00:26:06.180 badass thing
00:26:07.380 I've ever seen.
00:26:08.880 Right?
00:26:09.040 Like,
00:26:09.220 the most badass thing
00:26:10.480 in the history
00:26:11.420 of politics.
00:26:12.040 politics.
00:26:12.660 That was definitely
00:26:13.180 my reaction.
00:26:13.780 Now,
00:26:14.200 of course,
00:26:14.680 I will have to admit
00:26:15.680 that the first thing
00:26:16.540 I do is get on with Glenn.
00:26:17.480 He's like,
00:26:17.900 I've got the speech
00:26:19.040 where Teddy Roosevelt
00:26:19.960 got shot.
00:26:21.100 It blocked the bullet
00:26:22.280 and he finished the speech.
00:26:23.500 All right, Glenn.
00:26:24.260 Okay.
00:26:24.520 I got it.
00:26:25.060 You weren't there
00:26:25.600 for that either.
00:26:26.220 And he holds it up
00:26:27.980 in his head.
00:26:28.820 Oh, and here's
00:26:29.400 his eyeglass case.
00:26:30.340 All right.
00:26:31.080 Okay.
00:26:31.700 You have to understand
00:26:33.000 how frustrating it is
00:26:33.880 to live with a guy.
00:26:34.940 I feel like I live with him
00:26:36.140 but work with a guy
00:26:37.440 like Glenn
00:26:37.840 for all these years.
00:26:39.420 But I,
00:26:40.160 it was
00:26:40.660 one of the most amazing
00:26:42.620 things I've ever seen
00:26:43.340 in my entire life.
00:26:44.620 And the fact that
00:26:45.920 he just stood up
00:26:46.760 and did that.
00:26:47.880 I know.
00:26:48.480 The presence of mind.
00:26:50.240 I know.
00:26:51.260 A lot of it,
00:26:52.220 there's two things
00:26:52.800 going on there
00:26:53.400 and we'll get into this
00:26:54.120 a little bit more.
00:26:54.660 Jason Buttrell,
00:26:55.240 he's a security expert
00:26:56.200 he's going to be on here
00:26:56.860 with us in a couple
00:26:57.780 of seconds to break down
00:26:58.620 the security failures.
00:26:59.920 But like,
00:27:01.420 it's not,
00:27:02.420 there's two things going on.
00:27:03.440 Number one,
00:27:04.140 Donald Trump
00:27:04.660 is a master at stagecraft.
00:27:06.740 Right?
00:27:06.900 I think there's part
00:27:07.800 of his mind
00:27:08.520 that goes to,
00:27:10.520 he's almost watching
00:27:12.260 everything that happens
00:27:12.880 to him on television.
00:27:13.840 He knows what it looks like.
00:27:15.060 He knows what it feels like.
00:27:17.580 He knows the,
00:27:19.000 you know,
00:27:19.280 he wants to inspire
00:27:20.100 that crowd.
00:27:20.860 And he sees the arc,
00:27:22.460 the narrative arc
00:27:23.080 of the campaign.
00:27:23.780 And he does all that
00:27:25.200 processing instantly.
00:27:26.380 It's like nobody
00:27:27.140 I've ever seen before.
00:27:28.280 The other part about it is
00:27:29.340 the guy loves the country.
00:27:32.180 He loves the people
00:27:33.300 who are out there.
00:27:33.940 He knows he,
00:27:34.940 these people just saw
00:27:36.140 their president
00:27:37.120 almost get killed on stage
00:27:38.580 and he wants to reassure them
00:27:40.120 that I'm not going down
00:27:41.080 like that.
00:27:41.700 No way.
00:27:42.060 I'm not dead.
00:27:42.580 I'm here.
00:27:43.240 Yeah.
00:27:43.460 What did he call it
00:27:44.380 with RFK Jr.?
00:27:45.180 Like the world's
00:27:46.140 largest mosquito.
00:27:47.000 So we'll get into that
00:27:51.660 a little bit more here
00:27:52.340 in the next episode.
00:27:52.940 I want to get into
00:27:53.560 the Biden thing yesterday
00:27:54.400 because he's sliding
00:27:55.760 below all of our radars
00:27:56.900 right now.
00:27:57.820 People aren't paying attention
00:27:58.780 for understandable reasons.
00:28:01.020 But let me give you this
00:28:02.140 and we're going to go into this
00:28:02.860 in more depth
00:28:03.480 on Studos America
00:28:04.420 tonight.
00:28:05.780 Make sure to follow
00:28:07.400 the podcast.
00:28:08.040 Go to youtube.com
00:28:08.960 slash Studos America.
00:28:10.120 I'll point out to you
00:28:10.900 that not only do we post
00:28:11.780 all of our normal shows there
00:28:12.780 but we've been doing
00:28:13.660 a lot of YouTube lives
00:28:14.680 where we go live.
00:28:16.340 We did one,
00:28:16.920 I mean it must have been
00:28:17.500 10 minutes after
00:28:18.240 the shooting occurred.
00:28:19.300 We were there
00:28:19.600 trying to give some perspective.
00:28:21.260 We've been doing this
00:28:22.040 after the big speeches,
00:28:23.000 the big interviews.
00:28:24.400 Just go to youtube.com
00:28:25.680 slash Studos America.
00:28:27.440 Follow the show
00:28:28.120 and click the bell
00:28:28.720 for notifications
00:28:29.360 so you get the kind of alert
00:28:30.720 when we're going live.
00:28:32.280 So the whole show tonight
00:28:33.840 or at least a good chunk of it
00:28:34.700 is going to be on this
00:28:35.540 Lester Holt interview
00:28:36.460 because there's 10 clips
00:28:37.880 from this interview
00:28:38.420 that you need to know about.
00:28:41.040 And need to understand
00:28:42.000 that no one is posting online.
00:28:44.540 Like there's just,
00:28:45.220 this did not get
00:28:45.940 a lot of attention.
00:28:47.500 Let me give you
00:28:47.900 one of the clips here.
00:28:49.100 You may have heard this one.
00:28:49.960 This is Lester Holt
00:28:50.740 talking to Joe Biden
00:28:52.820 about the fact that
00:28:53.920 he seems to be going
00:28:54.920 through a lot of episodes
00:28:56.120 in front of the nation.
00:28:57.920 You know,
00:28:58.100 what happens if there's
00:28:59.420 another one?
00:29:00.680 Here's Lester Holt
00:29:01.600 with Joe Biden.
00:29:02.660 What happens if you have
00:29:03.700 another episode
00:29:04.580 like we saw?
00:29:05.540 during the debate?
00:29:08.240 What happens if you have
00:29:12.100 another performance
00:29:12.800 on that par,
00:29:13.660 on that level?
00:29:16.460 I don't plan to have
00:29:17.560 another performance
00:29:18.280 on that level.
00:29:20.880 I don't plan to have
00:29:21.800 another part like that.
00:29:23.960 Now,
00:29:24.580 I don't know
00:29:25.580 how many English words
00:29:27.220 were in his responses
00:29:28.240 there.
00:29:29.280 There are very few of them.
00:29:30.840 Yes.
00:29:31.980 That's how he speaks now.
00:29:33.240 What happens if
00:29:34.020 it's a level?
00:29:35.900 That's how he speaks.
00:29:36.920 And that's the best
00:29:37.960 of ending a sentence
00:29:39.340 in a train of thought
00:29:40.580 that he gets.
00:29:41.280 Yeah,
00:29:41.400 because on that one
00:29:42.260 you could almost tell
00:29:43.300 what he was saying.
00:29:44.480 Right?
00:29:44.680 I think he said,
00:29:45.180 I don't plan on having
00:29:46.300 another appearance
00:29:47.260 at that level
00:29:47.900 or another episode
00:29:48.900 at that level.
00:29:49.640 Light down,
00:29:49.960 yeah.
00:29:50.480 Well,
00:29:50.720 of course you didn't plan
00:29:51.540 on it.
00:29:51.740 You also didn't plan
00:29:52.420 on it at the debate.
00:29:53.820 And that wasn't,
00:29:54.580 yeah,
00:29:54.680 right,
00:29:54.800 that wasn't the question,
00:29:55.900 sir.
00:29:56.680 What happens if?
00:29:57.800 Right.
00:29:58.540 Well,
00:29:58.840 it's been interesting
00:29:59.480 to watch this
00:29:59.920 because the media
00:30:00.760 who has protected
00:30:01.980 this man
00:30:02.720 since the beginning,
00:30:05.040 everybody knew
00:30:06.500 he was going through
00:30:07.880 this four years ago,
00:30:09.100 but they protected him
00:30:10.420 throughout the campaign.
00:30:11.520 They protected him
00:30:12.480 through the COVID
00:30:13.320 basement campaign.
00:30:14.760 They protected him.
00:30:16.340 They didn't ask
00:30:16.940 for more press conferences.
00:30:18.680 And I will,
00:30:19.680 I know a lot of
00:30:20.340 mainstream media
00:30:21.180 people listen to this show.
00:30:22.980 I will note
00:30:23.980 there were some exceptions.
00:30:25.640 They were few
00:30:26.100 and far between.
00:30:27.180 There were some exceptions.
00:30:28.580 People who actually
00:30:29.260 did call this out.
00:30:30.060 I mean,
00:30:30.260 David Axelrod,
00:30:31.760 who is a,
00:30:32.900 an Obama official,
00:30:34.460 right,
00:30:34.780 was out there
00:30:35.400 saying these types of things.
00:30:36.600 You know,
00:30:36.760 people like Nate Silver
00:30:37.640 certainly were.
00:30:39.060 There was Derek Thompson
00:30:40.120 at the Atlantic
00:30:40.660 was saying these types of things.
00:30:41.920 There were people
00:30:42.560 who were doing it,
00:30:43.640 but it was few
00:30:44.260 and far between.
00:30:45.720 And as we went
00:30:46.960 through this
00:30:47.480 and watched it all unfold,
00:30:48.800 it was stuff
00:30:49.340 that we all understood.
00:30:51.580 Conservatives
00:30:52.020 all understood.
00:30:53.240 Every conservative
00:30:53.980 I know
00:30:54.800 expected that exact
00:30:56.440 debate performance
00:30:57.620 that night.
00:30:58.360 It was not surprising
00:30:59.100 to us at all.
00:31:00.900 It was surprising
00:31:02.140 to a lot of Democratic voters
00:31:03.300 who watch MSNBC
00:31:06.260 who are constantly told,
00:31:08.080 no,
00:31:08.160 these are cheap fakes.
00:31:09.020 These aren't even real.
00:31:09.960 Well,
00:31:10.180 it was just a week,
00:31:11.820 right,
00:31:12.480 before the debate
00:31:13.820 when we were told
00:31:14.980 that him being
00:31:15.920 handled and walked off stage
00:31:18.800 by Barack
00:31:19.460 was a cheap fake.
00:31:20.500 Right.
00:31:20.720 a week before
00:31:22.140 they were using this.
00:31:22.940 Corinne Jean-Pierre
00:31:23.680 out there blabbing on
00:31:24.800 about how,
00:31:26.080 about,
00:31:26.760 and her,
00:31:27.280 I'm not going to go down
00:31:28.020 this rabbit hole.
00:31:28.860 It's a cheap fake.
00:31:29.580 It's a cheap fake,
00:31:30.280 right?
00:31:30.820 Now,
00:31:31.200 I have actually seen
00:31:32.700 cheap fakes
00:31:34.040 made of Donald Trump
00:31:35.880 since the shooting.
00:31:36.860 You go online
00:31:37.880 and the left-wing conspiracy
00:31:39.540 theories on this thing
00:31:40.620 are freaking adorable.
00:31:42.940 They're great.
00:31:43.180 They are,
00:31:45.220 they have come up
00:31:46.880 with the craziest crap
00:31:49.720 to believe
00:31:50.880 and it's a lot
00:31:51.640 of high-profile people
00:31:53.020 on the left
00:31:53.640 who are like,
00:31:54.180 oh,
00:31:54.320 well,
00:31:54.460 actually,
00:31:54.900 it was glass.
00:31:55.660 It wasn't a bullet
00:31:56.340 and actually,
00:31:57.460 that bandage is fake.
00:31:59.140 He has no damage
00:32:00.160 to his ear.
00:32:01.720 I think it was
00:32:02.440 a ketchup packet.
00:32:03.500 I mean,
00:32:03.660 they're at the point
00:32:04.360 at this,
00:32:04.920 they are to the extremes
00:32:06.320 and Corinne Jean-Pierre
00:32:08.100 is still out there
00:32:08.780 blabbing on.
00:32:09.520 I mean,
00:32:09.640 I love her.
00:32:11.220 She's,
00:32:11.520 I love her.
00:32:12.560 I mean,
00:32:12.760 you love Corinne Jean-Pierre.
00:32:13.740 I love her because,
00:32:14.360 you know why?
00:32:14.820 Why?
00:32:15.120 Because we all know
00:32:15.800 she's terrible.
00:32:16.600 Yeah.
00:32:17.060 She comes with
00:32:17.940 her great big book
00:32:18.760 of everything
00:32:19.300 every day
00:32:19.880 and she barely knows
00:32:21.560 how to read
00:32:22.160 what's on those pages
00:32:23.100 if she can find
00:32:23.940 the right page
00:32:24.740 to answer the question.
00:32:25.780 It's so good.
00:32:26.700 They tried to get rid of her.
00:32:28.140 They tried to bring John Kirby.
00:32:29.840 They brought Kirby in,
00:32:30.800 gave him a new title.
00:32:32.060 Anita Dunn.
00:32:32.420 Had him do some more
00:32:34.020 press conference,
00:32:34.720 tried to run her off.
00:32:36.120 Anita Dunn came in
00:32:36.920 behind the scenes,
00:32:37.620 tried to push her out.
00:32:38.740 And she was like,
00:32:40.020 I am the DEI
00:32:42.540 higher.
00:32:44.200 I check
00:32:45.080 almost every box.
00:32:46.700 Every box.
00:32:47.200 If not every box.
00:32:47.780 Every box.
00:32:48.700 Fire me.
00:32:50.020 Show them how you love
00:32:51.480 diversity in this White House.
00:32:53.100 I dare you.
00:32:55.060 That's where she's at.
00:32:55.740 That's true.
00:32:56.460 That's where she's at.
00:32:57.120 She's not going.
00:32:57.820 You talk about somebody
00:32:58.480 dug in.
00:32:59.240 There's no way
00:33:00.060 she goes anywhere.
00:33:00.600 Well,
00:33:00.860 where does she go
00:33:01.680 after this?
00:33:02.260 I mean,
00:33:02.600 I think best case scenario
00:33:04.840 is Applebee's.
00:33:05.540 I don't know
00:33:05.940 that there's another.
00:33:08.600 There's not another job
00:33:10.320 for Corinne Jean-Pierre
00:33:11.420 out there,
00:33:11.800 right?
00:33:11.960 After this?
00:33:12.860 What particular Applebee's
00:33:14.940 are because I'd like
00:33:15.800 to go to another one.
00:33:16.920 Exactly.
00:33:17.500 I want to get my order right.
00:33:18.540 If she's bringing you
00:33:19.320 an awesome blossom
00:33:20.040 at Chili's,
00:33:20.560 are you excited about that?
00:33:21.540 No, I am not.
00:33:21.900 I don't know what the hell
00:33:22.640 she's done with it.
00:33:23.240 I wouldn't want her
00:33:24.960 anywhere near my food,
00:33:27.000 let alone the White House.
00:33:28.200 Can I just order
00:33:28.420 from the tablet?
00:33:29.360 We good?
00:33:29.840 Yeah.
00:33:30.300 Yeah, you don't have
00:33:31.020 to come back.
00:33:31.500 I've got a cart.
00:33:33.080 So,
00:33:33.540 it's so true with her.
00:33:35.140 By the way,
00:33:35.580 we have a great,
00:33:36.620 Jeff, you're in this segment,
00:33:37.800 the investigative reporting
00:33:39.660 we did on Corinne Jean-Pierre
00:33:41.080 and how she's never
00:33:41.900 actually worn
00:33:42.980 the same outfit twice.
00:33:44.380 This is a real thing.
00:33:46.020 It is a real thing.
00:33:46.820 We have a real thing.
00:33:47.560 We did a comedy version
00:33:49.440 of this investigation.
00:33:50.460 It's available
00:33:50.820 at youtube.com
00:33:51.680 slash Judas America
00:33:52.460 as well,
00:33:53.160 where we go through that
00:33:54.180 and show
00:33:54.800 150 different outfits
00:33:57.540 in quick succession.
00:33:59.320 She has never worn
00:34:00.480 the same outfit twice.
00:34:01.520 Jeffy in this segment
00:34:03.160 plays a conspiracy theorist
00:34:04.780 who believes
00:34:05.140 it's happened
00:34:05.560 one time.
00:34:07.060 And it may have happened
00:34:08.440 sort of one time.
00:34:09.360 I'll give you that.
00:34:09.980 So,
00:34:10.240 we're getting off track here,
00:34:11.400 but I will say
00:34:12.020 the Corinne Jean-Pierre thing
00:34:13.360 has been fascinating
00:34:13.920 because she's loyal.
00:34:16.080 Jill seems to be loyal.
00:34:17.800 Hunter seems to be loyal.
00:34:19.300 Jill's been pretty quiet
00:34:21.200 this last week or so.
00:34:21.960 They haven't heard much
00:34:22.580 from Jill.
00:34:23.700 And Hunter too.
00:34:24.740 Maybe there's been
00:34:25.420 hold up at the White House.
00:34:26.500 I'm not sure
00:34:27.040 what's happening there,
00:34:28.020 but...
00:34:28.400 They've dug in though,
00:34:29.180 I think.
00:34:29.620 And Hunter is the ultimate
00:34:31.380 example of this, right?
00:34:32.780 If you're Hunter Biden,
00:34:33.600 you can't go down.
00:34:35.160 Your dad can't...
00:34:36.640 No way, Dad.
00:34:37.160 You got this.
00:34:37.840 You got it.
00:34:38.300 You got this, Dad.
00:34:39.080 Is there any benefit
00:34:40.080 to Hunter Biden
00:34:40.800 with his dad
00:34:41.720 having pardon power?
00:34:43.040 Like, my guess is yes, right?
00:34:44.660 Like, it's...
00:34:45.380 Is there any benefit
00:34:46.020 to Hunter Biden
00:34:46.760 that his dad
00:34:47.700 is running the DOJ?
00:34:49.060 I'd say yeah.
00:34:50.860 You're going to say
00:34:51.660 stay there no matter what
00:34:53.100 if you're Hunter Biden.
00:34:54.280 Don't listen to them.
00:34:55.240 But, like,
00:34:55.720 that is an example
00:34:56.520 from Monday,
00:34:57.460 the one we played
00:34:57.960 from...
00:34:59.040 That whole interview,
00:35:00.020 and I know you're
00:35:00.540 covering it all
00:35:01.320 on Stude's America,
00:35:02.880 but that whole interview
00:35:04.060 was combative
00:35:05.080 from our president
00:35:06.660 from the very beginning.
00:35:09.100 I don't know.
00:35:09.840 To be honest,
00:35:10.460 I would have liked Lester
00:35:11.300 to just say,
00:35:11.940 all right, we're done.
00:35:13.300 It was really weird.
00:35:14.800 We're out of here.
00:35:15.600 I've been on your side, sir.
00:35:17.320 To the point of
00:35:18.180 he's accusing Lester Holt
00:35:19.680 of ignoring Trump's lies,
00:35:21.460 I mean, can you imagine...
00:35:22.480 It's probably the most
00:35:23.320 delusional thing
00:35:24.000 the president has done.
00:35:24.980 Can you imagine
00:35:25.500 accusing NBC News
00:35:26.820 of ignoring Trump's lies?
00:35:28.740 That's all I talk about.
00:35:29.480 And Lester's like,
00:35:30.180 we've talked about
00:35:31.420 all of that, sir.
00:35:33.260 Yeah, Lester's very clear.
00:35:34.260 We have covered it.
00:35:35.820 And they get into
00:35:36.560 a little back and forth.
00:35:37.320 So I'll get into that
00:35:38.180 tonight on Stude's America.
00:35:39.100 Let me give you this clip,
00:35:39.740 though, from yesterday.
00:35:40.260 This is at the NAACP gathering.
00:35:43.760 This is awesome.
00:35:44.580 He's great here.
00:35:45.700 And I want you to listen
00:35:47.800 to what happens here
00:35:48.740 because it is one
00:35:50.140 of the most fascinating things.
00:35:52.200 The man is struggling
00:35:53.320 so badly,
00:35:54.000 not just to comprehend,
00:35:55.420 but also to just read
00:35:56.500 and see.
00:35:57.800 And it's important
00:35:59.420 to understand that
00:36:00.060 this is one of his
00:36:00.940 central policies
00:36:02.220 he is discussing.
00:36:03.180 One of his brand new initiatives
00:36:04.720 to try to win
00:36:05.400 at the ballot box.
00:36:07.060 Or he would say
00:36:07.840 the battle box,
00:36:08.900 which is another mistake
00:36:10.060 he made recently
00:36:10.800 multiple times.
00:36:11.980 That was from his speech
00:36:12.500 at the Oval.
00:36:13.360 Yeah.
00:36:13.600 It's terrible.
00:36:14.400 The battle box.
00:36:15.200 And that one
00:36:15.820 is fascinating as well
00:36:17.540 because the battle box,
00:36:19.120 B-A-T-T-L-E
00:36:20.020 is what it sounded like.
00:36:20.840 They corrected it
00:36:22.040 on the official
00:36:22.640 White House transcript
00:36:23.640 from battle box
00:36:25.000 to battle box
00:36:26.420 B-A-T-T-O-L
00:36:27.960 which is not a word.
00:36:29.800 They actually corrected
00:36:31.280 the President
00:36:31.780 of the United States
00:36:32.500 because he was trying
00:36:33.420 to say ballot box.
00:36:34.300 Because they've been,
00:36:34.760 sometimes they just delete it
00:36:36.320 and put in the right thing.
00:36:37.440 The right thing.
00:36:37.940 Or they cross it out
00:36:39.280 and put the real word.
00:36:39.400 But they knew he didn't say that.
00:36:40.720 They couldn't go that far
00:36:42.060 because he actually said battle.
00:36:43.640 Right.
00:36:43.920 So instead,
00:36:44.440 they didn't want him
00:36:45.100 to say battle
00:36:45.680 because he was trying
00:36:46.300 to lower the temperature.
00:36:47.420 So they made up
00:36:49.000 a fake word
00:36:50.160 they claimed
00:36:51.080 the President said.
00:36:52.440 Okay.
00:36:52.920 B-A-T-T-O-L.
00:36:54.440 It is on the official
00:36:55.500 White House transcript
00:36:56.340 of that speech.
00:36:57.620 Okay.
00:36:57.900 So here is another speech.
00:37:00.000 Biden talking
00:37:00.560 to the NAACP
00:37:01.520 about his new
00:37:02.380 rent control policy
00:37:03.880 which I might remind you
00:37:04.920 would be an absolute
00:37:06.200 catastrophe
00:37:07.060 if it's actually
00:37:08.300 put into place.
00:37:08.840 Well, some would say
00:37:09.320 that it's illegal.
00:37:10.940 And it would be illegal
00:37:11.800 and unconstitutional.
00:37:12.920 It's so terrible.
00:37:13.900 But here he is
00:37:14.580 talking about
00:37:15.400 that new policy.
00:37:16.660 The idea
00:37:17.780 The idea
00:37:19.280 The idea
00:37:19.940 That corporate-owned housing
00:37:21.200 is able to raise your rent
00:37:23.100 three, four hundred bucks
00:37:24.720 a month or something
00:37:25.400 Something
00:37:25.900 That's what I'm about
00:37:26.980 to announce
00:37:27.700 Leading in
00:37:28.420 You can't raise it
00:37:29.100 more than
00:37:29.720 You can't see it
00:37:30.580 Fifty-five dollars
00:37:33.420 Yeah, you can't see it
00:37:35.560 They're going crazy.
00:37:37.060 Right?
00:37:37.220 The crowd goes
00:37:37.760 Fifty-five dollars
00:37:38.960 So your rent
00:37:40.100 can now no longer
00:37:41.520 go up more than
00:37:42.440 Fifty-five dollars
00:37:43.980 This is an incredible policy.
00:37:46.140 Yay!
00:37:46.660 Now that policy
00:37:48.340 if it were implemented
00:37:49.760 would be an economic catastrophe
00:37:52.180 But what really happened there
00:37:54.420 is he's looking at the prompter
00:37:56.160 and the prompter says
00:37:57.620 five percent
00:37:59.360 That is his actual policy
00:38:00.960 It will not go up
00:38:01.600 more than five percent
00:38:02.660 He can't see it
00:38:04.480 Can't see it
00:38:05.000 Can't process the numbers
00:38:06.420 from the screen
00:38:07.620 to his brain
00:38:08.460 He literally
00:38:09.600 guesses
00:38:10.480 while he's announcing
00:38:12.220 a new policy
00:38:12.980 guesses
00:38:13.660 as to what that policy is
00:38:15.560 because he
00:38:16.520 has
00:38:17.200 no
00:38:17.960 idea
00:38:19.360 what his own
00:38:20.820 policy is
00:38:21.920 He sees a five
00:38:24.220 at a percentage sign
00:38:25.220 He can't read it
00:38:26.060 so he thinks it's two fives
00:38:27.680 and doesn't know it
00:38:28.340 He says fifty-five dollars
00:38:29.800 Now if he was familiar
00:38:30.860 with his own policies
00:38:31.920 he would easily be able
00:38:33.280 to say
00:38:33.460 oh this is the five percent
00:38:34.460 thing
00:38:34.800 but he doesn't
00:38:36.240 even know
00:38:37.220 his own policies
00:38:38.020 Who the hell
00:38:39.020 is the president
00:38:39.620 of the United States
00:38:40.220 right now?
00:38:41.540 It's not this guy
00:38:42.520 He doesn't even know
00:38:43.940 what he's talking about
00:38:44.780 Oh my gosh
00:38:46.540 We are in serious trouble
00:38:47.600 888-727-BECK
00:38:49.620 is the phone number
00:38:50.400 Holy crap
00:38:52.080 We are
00:38:52.640 We got
00:38:53.200 We're in for a big one today
00:38:54.320 This show is
00:38:55.140 We got too much to talk about
00:38:56.800 Too much to get to
00:38:57.940 Let me tell you about
00:38:59.040 Patriot Mobile
00:38:59.700 before we do
00:39:00.380 Wouldn't it be great
00:39:01.480 if we had to deal with
00:39:02.380 you know
00:39:02.880 maybe not a stalled economy
00:39:04.100 Maybe not
00:39:04.660 a president
00:39:05.800 who doesn't know
00:39:06.360 his own policies
00:39:07.060 Maybe not endless wars
00:39:08.480 and the relentless assault
00:39:09.340 by our government
00:39:09.960 and our media
00:39:10.460 on American values
00:39:11.280 If we had that world
00:39:12.300 wouldn't it be nice?
00:39:14.000 Well you know
00:39:14.600 it's not
00:39:14.980 It's not
00:39:15.800 We don't live in that world
00:39:16.880 We can't change it all back overnight
00:39:18.160 but we can take steps
00:39:19.200 in a positive direction
00:39:20.340 One that will lead us
00:39:21.700 to where you know
00:39:22.400 we want to be
00:39:23.020 So think about
00:39:24.440 switching your phone service
00:39:25.840 to Patriot Mobile
00:39:26.900 Right now
00:39:27.860 you're going to get
00:39:28.440 a whole month
00:39:29.320 for free
00:39:30.040 That is a great way
00:39:31.300 to start your new service
00:39:32.140 Of course
00:39:32.640 You're going to save some cash
00:39:33.580 They're America's only
00:39:34.780 Christian conservative
00:39:35.740 mobile company
00:39:36.540 and their mission is
00:39:37.340 this is an actual quote
00:39:38.620 to passionately
00:39:39.880 defend our God-given
00:39:42.120 constitutional rights
00:39:43.400 and freedoms
00:39:43.960 and glorify God always
00:39:45.400 and I read that
00:39:46.060 mission statement to you
00:39:46.980 because I think about
00:39:49.000 all the times
00:39:49.880 these companies
00:39:50.980 come out
00:39:51.360 like Disney
00:39:51.880 or Bud Light
00:39:52.600 and we complain about them
00:39:53.660 There are companies
00:39:54.960 out here like Patriot Mobile
00:39:56.320 too who are doing
00:39:57.080 something totally different
00:39:58.020 They're giving you
00:39:58.560 the dependable
00:39:59.060 nationwide coverage
00:39:59.840 They're giving you
00:40:00.620 the access that you need

00:40:28.020 to the swinging sounds
00:40:29.160 of Glenn Beck
00:40:29.900 Sit tight boys and girls
00:40:31.800 We'll be right back
00:40:32.720 after these messages
00:40:33.620 So we were talking
00:40:46.420 about this a while ago
00:40:47.420 that Graceland
00:40:49.860 had their home title
00:40:52.140 stolen
00:40:53.020 Graceland
00:40:53.880 Elvis Presley's family
00:40:55.300 How dare they
00:40:56.180 I thought you might
00:40:57.220 be mad at that
00:40:57.800 How dare they
00:40:58.400 Jeffy
00:40:58.760 Do you believe that?
00:41:00.280 No
00:41:00.520 They went after
00:41:01.340 Elvis' stuff
00:41:02.160 You can't do that
00:41:03.000 And they actually
00:41:04.380 had it
00:41:04.920 to the point
00:41:05.340 that the Presley family
00:41:06.960 had to go to court
00:41:07.760 to reclaim Graceland
00:41:09.540 as if we didn't know
00:41:10.540 that they owned it
00:41:11.180 Is that that big
00:41:12.420 of a question
00:41:12.860 So did you know
00:41:14.400 that a scammer
00:41:14.980 can forge your signature
00:41:15.740 on a fake transfer document
00:41:17.080 just like that?
00:41:17.760 You can be affected
00:41:18.280 just like Graceland was
00:41:19.640 They can take out loans
00:41:20.900 against your equity
00:41:21.600 and collateral
00:41:22.120 They can disappear
00:41:23.980 leaving you with a financial
00:41:25.080 and legal nightmare
00:41:26.120 Well a new report
00:41:27.520 shows that home owners
00:41:28.400 are sitting on like
00:41:29.280 16 trillion dollars
00:41:30.340 in available equity
00:41:31.140 This is where all
00:41:31.740 of our money is
00:41:32.440 This is where it is
00:41:33.980 And so
00:41:34.500 this is where thieves go
00:41:36.120 Just like if all
00:41:37.000 your money is in a bank
00:41:37.640 they go to the bank
00:41:38.180 try to rob the bank
00:41:38.900 Your home's in your equity
00:41:40.160 They come to rob that equity
00:41:41.900 and they can do that
00:41:42.660 without even disturbing you
00:41:43.760 They're not going to
00:41:44.200 set off any alarms
00:41:45.160 You need to protect
00:41:46.160 your equity from this
00:41:47.120 with triple lock protection

00:41:55.660 if something

00:43:01.160 Coming up in a few moments
00:43:02.420 we're going to be talking
00:43:03.000 to a security expert
00:43:04.040 Explain to us exactly
00:43:06.020 how this stuff
00:43:07.840 could have possibly
00:43:08.780 happened
00:43:09.460 in Pennsylvania
00:43:10.280 Back with that in a second
00:43:11.100 The Glenn Beck Program
00:43:12.640 Let me tell you about
00:43:13.560 Lear Capital
00:43:14.100 You've worked your whole life
00:43:15.280 to build everything
00:43:16.500 that you've had
00:43:17.080 so far
00:43:18.440 and you've saved
00:43:19.040 what you've needed
00:43:19.460 to save
00:43:20.020 You've cut costs
00:43:20.740 when you needed
00:43:21.100 to cut costs
00:43:21.820 You've probably made
00:43:22.940 a mistake or two
00:43:23.840 here or there
00:43:24.260 Not me
00:43:24.700 My financial record's perfect
00:43:26.140 but you're always there
00:43:27.500 to work hard
00:43:28.160 and correct it
00:43:28.700 and now
00:43:29.120 because of someone
00:43:30.040 responsible
00:43:30.640 like yourself
00:43:31.360 because of
00:43:32.440 you are in a situation
00:43:34.380 where you might be okay
00:43:35.420 but we have an
00:43:36.040 irresponsible government
00:43:37.080 and now the value
00:43:38.480 of everything you've built
00:43:39.240 over time
00:43:39.700 is rapidly shrinking
00:43:40.780 If you don't see
00:43:42.000 the need to shore up
00:43:43.000 your hard-earned money
00:43:43.800 with something
00:43:44.200 that will act
00:43:44.720 as a firewall
00:43:45.420 against economic disaster

00:45:26.800 who is a security expert
00:45:28.740 He was in the military
00:45:30.060 He has some stupid resume
00:45:31.540 that I don't really
00:45:32.120 want to go through
00:45:32.660 but he knows what's going on
00:45:33.780 and I will tell you
00:45:34.320 can explain a little bit
00:45:35.420 about how
00:45:36.840 on God's earth
00:45:38.280 the incident
00:45:39.520 in Pennsylvania
00:45:40.540 happened with Donald Trump
00:45:41.920 Not only that
00:45:43.160 we're getting lots
00:45:43.900 of new footage
00:45:44.500 There's lots of
00:45:45.340 I mean there's theories
00:45:46.340 everywhere
00:45:46.840 There's so much to cover
00:45:48.180 We're gonna get to that
00:45:49.020 here in just a second
00:45:50.360 888-727-BECK
00:45:52.320 We're gonna take
00:45:52.660 your phone calls
00:45:53.340 as well

00:45:55.060 about SimpliSafe
00:45:56.520 emergency

00:46:00.980 protecting your home
00:46:01.980 you know that those
00:46:03.060 emergencies can turn ugly
00:46:04.380 well what do you do
00:46:06.520 when you need to
00:46:07.240 protect your home
00:46:07.940 there are lots of
00:46:08.840 things with the

00:46:10.580 there's lots of things
00:46:11.280 with insurance you need to do
00:46:12.320 but you need to make sure
00:46:13.220 that your home is

00:46:34.620 and even talk to
00:46:35.900 the intruder
00:46:36.360 which would be very
00:46:37.140 I feel like intrusive
00:46:38.340 if you're robbing a house
00:46:39.740 there shouldn't be someone
00:46:40.400 in the little speakers
00:46:41.300 talking to you
00:46:41.860 that would be
00:46:42.260 I would be very disturbed
00:46:43.540 by that
00:46:44.060 no long-term contracts

00:47:12.460 with Jeff Fisher
00:47:13.480 along with Jason Buttr
00:47:14.600 who joins us now
00:47:15.540 and Jason
00:47:17.020 and give people
00:47:17.840 a quick rundown
00:47:18.560 of your background
00:47:19.660 when it comes
00:47:20.200 to the security
00:47:20.780 because you
00:47:21.160 do we have the time
00:47:22.460 I don't know
00:47:22.940 for your entire resume
00:47:24.460 no
00:47:24.820 thank you very much
00:47:25.700 give me a short version
00:47:26.460 of it all right
00:47:27.000 the condensed version
00:47:27.940 I uh
00:47:28.880 well I
00:47:29.340 spent four years
00:47:30.640 in the military
00:47:31.080 military intelligence
00:47:32.020 um
00:47:32.680 deployed to Afghanistan
00:47:33.480 but right afterwards
00:47:34.580 there's not a whole lot
00:47:35.560 of jobs for people
00:47:36.380 that can operate
00:47:36.980 machine guns and stuff
00:47:37.920 so I did
00:47:38.400 really
00:47:38.740 on a resume
00:47:40.260 I was like
00:47:40.800 I wanted to be an accountant
00:47:41.600 but that just did not
00:47:42.720 look good on the resume
00:47:43.820 you'd be a pretty good accountant
00:47:45.340 because people would walk in
00:47:46.340 and be like
00:47:46.600 can I do this
00:47:47.300 and you'd be like
00:47:47.660 pull out the machine gun
00:47:48.520 and they'd you know
00:47:49.060 no
00:47:49.560 the answer is no
00:47:50.800 um
00:47:52.100 but afterwards
00:47:52.580 when I got out
00:47:53.340 I did executive protection
00:47:54.600 for actually the same firm
00:47:55.920 that RFK used
00:47:57.020 for his
00:47:57.560 when he was denied
00:47:58.440 secret service
00:47:59.080 I did that for about
00:48:00.240 15 years
00:48:00.980 Gavin DeBecker
00:48:01.600 yeah
00:48:01.820 yep
00:48:02.100 um
00:48:03.000 so
00:48:03.260 and you were protecting
00:48:04.620 Glenn for a time
00:48:05.620 protecting Glenn for a time
00:48:06.780 uh
00:48:07.280 protected pretty much
00:48:08.280 almost every single
00:48:09.400 Hollywood person
00:48:10.540 that was
00:48:11.020 that you've ever heard about
00:48:12.140 uh
00:48:12.560 or you've seen on TV
00:48:13.540 yeah
00:48:13.880 at some point
00:48:14.540 and I mentioned to you
00:48:15.240 that we were going to talk
00:48:15.840 about the Trump event
00:48:16.520 but actually
00:48:16.980 we weren't going to have you
00:48:17.640 just reveal secrets
00:48:18.540 about celebrities
00:48:19.220 so go ahead
00:48:19.820 I wish I could
00:48:20.600 I wish I could
00:48:21.360 that's probably a lot of good stories
00:48:22.740 that's the point
00:48:23.080 you can
00:48:23.420 I will not
00:48:24.260 and it really pisses me off
00:48:25.300 when I see other
00:48:25.960 you know
00:48:26.580 security people
00:48:27.680 like blab
00:48:28.420 right
00:48:28.640 tell all books
00:48:29.280 you can't do that
00:48:29.820 you can't
00:48:30.220 I mean you're just ruining it
00:48:30.980 for the entire profession
00:48:31.640 they're never going to be trusted
00:48:32.500 so it just
00:48:33.100 it really annoys me
00:48:33.820 but
00:48:34.160 anyway
00:48:34.680 I was at the planning stages
00:48:36.260 for multiple events
00:48:37.260 where the secret service
00:48:37.980 was there
00:48:38.440 so I've seen the advance process
00:48:39.860 I've seen the execution
00:48:41.080 you know process
00:48:41.960 I know how it's supposed to go
00:48:43.040 uh
00:48:43.700 and let's just say
00:48:44.180 there's a lot of questions
00:48:44.980 there is
00:48:45.740 for this event
00:48:46.780 so let me start with
00:48:47.480 question number one
00:48:48.320 I think the biggest question
00:48:49.300 for me
00:48:50.280 as a layman
00:48:51.300 watching this unfold
00:48:52.880 and this was not something
00:48:53.980 that took me a month
00:48:55.100 to put together here
00:48:56.140 it was instant
00:48:58.160 when they showed
00:48:59.500 where the shooter came from
00:49:00.740 my instant question was
00:49:02.680 why the hell
00:49:04.960 was there not an officer
00:49:06.560 of some sort
00:49:07.580 on that roof
00:49:08.400 it's the most obvious place
00:49:10.020 if anyone's ever played
00:49:11.220 Call of Duty
00:49:11.940 if you ever played
00:49:12.940 some video game
00:49:13.940 you would have picked
00:49:15.140 that spot
00:49:16.200 as a sniper position
00:49:17.740 it's the only elevated position
00:49:19.040 really in the area
00:49:19.980 and it was completely
00:49:21.000 left unprotected
00:49:22.560 how did that happen
00:49:23.340 yeah I
00:49:24.060 well
00:49:24.440 the initial answer is
00:49:25.980 I don't know
00:49:26.760 if you look at a schematic
00:49:28.120 or overhead
00:49:29.100 aerial imagery
00:49:30.220 of the area
00:49:30.880 that's the main spot
00:49:32.240 so if you're like going
00:49:33.040 if you're on the advance
00:49:33.920 which the secret service does
00:49:35.060 they show up weeks in advance
00:49:36.020 and they show up
00:49:36.960 and they
00:49:37.200 they figure out everything
00:49:38.200 as far as like a
00:49:38.940 three tiered security system
00:49:40.060 where we're going to allow
00:49:40.740 our most trusted people
00:49:41.680 the next tier is like
00:49:43.140 you know maybe like
00:49:43.740 donors next tier
00:49:44.680 on and on and on
00:49:45.380 and then after that
00:49:46.880 they're like okay
00:49:47.380 well let's designate
00:49:48.240 you know firing positions
00:49:49.240 where could a sniper
00:49:49.960 fire at us
00:49:50.820 I've seen the secret service
00:49:51.800 director and a few other
00:49:52.840 people talk about
00:49:53.320 well it wasn't in our
00:49:54.040 scope of perimeter
00:49:54.940 bullcrap
00:49:56.140 the perimeter is not
00:49:57.800 some arbitrary area
00:49:59.720 the perimeter is
00:50:01.060 how far in depth
00:50:02.560 is the threat
00:50:03.280 that becomes your perimeter
00:50:04.960 right
00:50:05.380 so if a thousand
00:50:06.760 to two thousand
00:50:07.520 yards out
00:50:08.480 or let's say miles
00:50:10.180 let's say I don't know
00:50:11.180 Glenn had a sniper on
00:50:13.040 a Canadian sniper
00:50:13.800 shot like what
00:50:14.380 three miles out
00:50:15.380 yeah
00:50:15.700 if there was a danger
00:50:16.880 three miles out
00:50:18.000 three miles is your
00:50:19.340 perimeter
00:50:19.700 so that is
00:50:21.060 spoken from an agency
00:50:22.520 that is trying to
00:50:23.240 cover their butts
00:50:24.020 that's what it is
00:50:25.060 yeah because
00:50:25.700 I mean the idea is
00:50:26.760 if you think about
00:50:27.300 you go into a concert
00:50:28.100 right
00:50:28.440 you have a situation
00:50:29.660 where you have
00:50:30.840 certain areas
00:50:31.400 there's like a VIP
00:50:32.080 section where you can
00:50:33.020 get super close to the
00:50:33.780 stage and then there's
00:50:34.480 the place where
00:50:35.180 Jeffy would go
00:50:37.880 it would be like
00:50:38.520 way out in the back
00:50:39.360 somewhere like
00:50:40.000 didn't buy a ticket
00:50:41.040 like looking over the
00:50:42.000 fence trying to
00:50:42.840 get a free show
00:50:43.800 I got to see it
00:50:44.580 but like
00:50:45.040 just because that's
00:50:46.500 that where ticket
00:50:47.100 holders are
00:50:47.860 security people
00:50:48.780 still have to say
00:50:49.680 well the threat
00:50:50.340 could still come
00:50:51.060 from there
00:50:51.340 in fact
00:50:51.820 it's far more
00:50:52.760 likely to come
00:50:53.840 from there
00:50:54.160 because these
00:50:54.660 people didn't
00:50:55.400 have to go
00:50:55.840 through security
00:50:56.560 right
00:50:56.940 that building
00:50:57.740 you could have
00:50:58.200 just walked
00:50:58.760 anybody
00:50:59.200 could have just
00:51:00.360 walked up to
00:51:00.880 that area
00:51:01.260 in fact
00:51:01.840 you see
00:51:03.040 a bunch of
00:51:03.780 people
00:51:04.180 who are
00:51:05.040 walking around
00:51:05.940 there that are
00:51:06.360 just Trump fans
00:51:07.380 and they're the
00:51:08.480 ones that identify
00:51:09.520 the shooter on the
00:51:10.480 roof
00:51:10.840 they see it
00:51:12.240 they were there
00:51:12.660 to listen
00:51:13.120 they couldn't get
00:51:13.720 into the event
00:51:14.320 we just wanted
00:51:14.800 to hear them
00:51:15.180 right
00:51:15.480 and so they're
00:51:16.100 just standing
00:51:16.420 in the field
00:51:16.840 next to the
00:51:17.400 event
00:51:17.740 any one of them
00:51:19.180 could have taken
00:51:19.780 a shot at the
00:51:20.400 president of the
00:51:21.020 united states
00:51:21.480 or the former
00:51:21.840 president of the
00:51:22.320 united states
00:51:22.880 probably future
00:51:23.940 president of the
00:51:24.480 united states
00:51:25.000 donald trump
00:51:25.540 so how could
00:51:27.560 they not have
00:51:28.320 noticed this
00:51:30.000 like is this
00:51:30.620 something that
00:51:31.200 i mean to me
00:51:32.200 it looks obvious
00:51:32.940 should it have
00:51:34.380 been obvious to
00:51:34.980 them
00:51:35.200 gosh yes
00:51:36.260 i identified
00:51:37.480 i think three
00:51:38.420 questions
00:51:39.100 that i mean
00:51:40.240 there's tons
00:51:40.640 of questions
00:51:41.020 there's three
00:51:43.220 main ones
00:51:43.880 i just want
00:51:44.280 to know
00:51:44.540 now
00:51:45.020 the very
00:51:45.760 first one
00:51:46.280 was that
00:51:46.660 secret service
00:51:47.240 operate as
00:51:47.880 per their
00:51:48.760 standard
00:51:49.060 protocols
00:51:49.640 that they
00:51:50.160 set up
00:51:51.140 a typical
00:51:51.720 three-tiered
00:51:52.380 system
00:51:52.720 you know
00:51:53.900 to safeguard
00:51:54.840 the president
00:51:55.280 in close
00:51:56.080 range
00:51:56.360 the second
00:51:57.100 one
00:51:57.400 was
00:51:57.900 did they
00:51:59.060 designate
00:51:59.600 properly
00:52:00.100 all these
00:52:00.840 different
00:52:01.060 firing
00:52:01.320 positions
00:52:01.700 which i
00:52:02.260 assumed
00:52:02.620 they did
00:52:03.140 and did
00:52:03.860 they properly
00:52:04.380 secure all
00:52:05.180 the entrances
00:52:05.640 and exits
00:52:06.100 and stuff
00:52:06.480 into the
00:52:06.820 into this
00:52:07.240 area
00:52:07.660 into the
00:52:08.100 into the
00:52:08.520 venue
00:52:08.800 yes
00:52:09.300 but they
00:52:09.720 also
00:52:10.140 my impression
00:52:11.820 was is that
00:52:12.500 and i
00:52:12.860 this is what i
00:52:13.940 was my impression
00:52:14.640 was is that
00:52:15.220 they designated
00:52:17.200 you know like you
00:52:18.220 have the main
00:52:18.740 circle that's us
00:52:19.820 and then
00:52:21.260 there's police
00:52:22.580 yeah
00:52:22.900 then there's
00:52:23.460 another circle
00:52:24.680 that has
00:52:25.280 i don't know
00:52:25.680 sheriff's department
00:52:26.340 yeah
00:52:26.540 and there's another
00:52:27.140 circle that has
00:52:28.140 local police
00:52:29.500 because that so
00:52:30.020 that is that's
00:52:30.680 common and it's
00:52:31.440 not just like local
00:52:32.340 police being like
00:52:33.220 ah let you guys
00:52:33.900 figure it out
00:52:34.460 they're just
00:52:34.900 executing a plan
00:52:36.120 that's been
00:52:36.620 designed by the
00:52:37.300 secret service
00:52:37.880 exactly
00:52:38.600 and they're
00:52:39.160 supposed to
00:52:39.560 have uh
00:52:40.380 comms for
00:52:41.160 that right
00:52:41.540 i thought that's
00:52:42.100 what we i
00:52:42.840 thought that what
00:52:43.360 we fought against
00:52:44.380 because of 9-11
00:52:45.380 they couldn't there
00:52:46.280 was uh different
00:52:47.260 people couldn't
00:52:48.220 communicate with
00:52:48.840 each other right
00:52:49.440 so i forget what
00:52:50.440 they call it
00:52:50.940 but sure there
00:52:51.600 should be
00:52:51.900 communications between
00:52:52.760 the local law
00:52:53.700 enforcement and the
00:52:54.300 secret service but
00:52:54.840 it's not like every
00:52:55.620 single cop has a
00:52:56.520 direct line to every
00:52:57.440 single secret service
00:52:58.140 agent sure there's
00:52:58.980 like there's
00:52:59.480 there's like a
00:53:00.740 supervisor law
00:53:01.860 enforcement officer
00:53:02.580 that can speak to
00:53:03.800 a supervisor level
00:53:05.600 in the secret
00:53:06.180 service that's there
00:53:06.860 so like you can
00:53:07.720 imagine and that's
00:53:08.480 another thing that i
00:53:09.140 was struggling with
00:53:10.020 how long it took
00:53:10.900 them for communications
00:53:11.800 to go up the chain
00:53:12.760 right because that
00:53:13.480 would take a little
00:53:14.060 bit well some of
00:53:15.680 the footage that has
00:53:16.220 come out and it
00:53:17.000 seems to be confirmed
00:53:17.880 is you see regular
00:53:20.460 people who care about
00:53:21.960 president trump who
00:53:23.580 are looking at this
00:53:24.180 situation and seeing
00:53:25.240 a man yeah on a
00:53:27.300 roof okay with a
00:53:28.500 rifle okay and
00:53:29.940 they're seeing him
00:53:30.600 crawl toward the
00:53:31.840 peak of this roof
00:53:32.600 yeah pointing him
00:53:33.500 out and they say
00:53:34.360 now that we have
00:53:35.100 we believe it's at
00:53:36.260 least 86 seconds
00:53:37.660 where they say hey
00:53:39.380 there's a guy on the
00:53:40.020 roof and they try to
00:53:42.340 communicate this to
00:53:43.080 law enforcement you
00:53:43.840 can see people saying
00:53:44.540 he's got a gun he's
00:53:45.360 got a gun officer
00:53:45.780 officer yeah officer
00:53:46.880 officer now i can
00:53:48.620 understand why you
00:53:49.720 know there's going to
00:53:50.620 be a few seconds there
00:53:51.700 where maybe there's
00:53:53.140 chaos maybe they don't
00:53:54.160 understand maybe they
00:53:54.720 don't believe the
00:53:55.400 person but they're
00:53:56.420 going to look right
00:53:57.000 away they're going to
00:53:57.560 see this this should
00:53:58.280 have been communicated
00:53:58.980 was that not enough
00:54:00.120 it was 86 seconds not
00:54:01.200 enough time oh my god
00:54:02.580 it's so much worse than
00:54:03.740 86 seconds now i try to
00:54:06.040 so let me tell you my
00:54:07.060 last question question
00:54:08.120 number three on this
00:54:09.120 was uh is this most
00:54:11.540 scary and it's did the
00:54:13.160 shooter have help now
00:54:14.800 every time i don't even
00:54:16.060 want to go there right
00:54:17.340 but every time i try not
00:54:18.360 to new information comes
00:54:19.920 in yes and all the new
00:54:21.100 information that's come
00:54:21.860 in within the last 72
00:54:22.900 hours i'm like have you
00:54:24.780 guys seen jfk with uh
00:54:26.540 part of it were filmed
00:54:29.020 actually crazy right
00:54:30.300 here in the studio yes
00:54:31.240 that's right um but i
00:54:32.800 always like think of
00:54:33.780 that one of the last
00:54:34.840 moments where uh kevin
00:54:36.360 costner is like like i'm
00:54:38.100 not i typically try not
00:54:39.340 to be a conspiracy type
00:54:40.240 person but at the end
00:54:41.440 of it kevin costner is
00:54:42.800 like talking to the jury
00:54:43.720 and he's like laying out
00:54:44.960 the entire case by the
00:54:46.360 end of that you're like
00:54:47.100 yep holy crap like that
00:54:49.260 was the soviets and
00:54:50.220 gangsters and they all
00:54:51.220 like it wasn't even
00:54:51.840 hard oswald he was just
00:54:52.840 a pastor you know you
00:54:53.380 are convinced it's
00:54:55.140 every true crime
00:54:56.000 documentary right
00:54:56.800 like you're watching
00:54:57.800 you always think the
00:54:59.020 making of a murder the
00:54:59.880 guy's totally innocent
00:55:00.680 like then you find oh
00:55:01.580 there's five details they
00:55:02.640 left out they didn't tell
00:55:03.540 you totally well that
00:55:04.460 that's how i hear kevin
00:55:05.700 costner's voice like
00:55:07.140 reading me these details
00:55:08.440 as they come in and i'm
00:55:10.080 like what the holy crap
00:55:11.460 26 minutes that's how bad
00:55:14.660 this is 26 minutes before
00:55:16.520 the shot started which we
00:55:18.160 have now known from
00:55:18.960 reporting from both cbs and
00:55:20.420 the new york post is when
00:55:21.860 the law enforcement first
00:55:23.740 saw the shooter saw the
00:55:25.120 shooter right walking
00:55:26.060 onto the grounds right
00:55:27.260 where were they they
00:55:28.420 were below by that
00:55:30.040 building right inside
00:55:31.120 that yes oh wait so
00:55:32.200 the snipers are set up
00:55:34.240 inside that's where they
00:55:36.280 why stew why were they
00:55:37.800 inside the building now i
00:55:39.200 am not an expert of this
00:55:40.360 but i feel like you
00:55:41.520 should be having like
00:55:42.420 maybe you'd be on the
00:55:43.620 roof or some sort of
00:55:44.620 clear line of sight toward
00:55:45.940 the crowd unless it was
00:55:46.940 dangerous like spikes on
00:55:48.380 the ground or you know
00:55:50.000 heavy gunfire active at
00:55:52.040 the time sure maybe you
00:55:53.400 would rethink that is that
00:55:54.460 what was going on no no
00:55:56.220 that wasn't what was
00:55:56.960 going on no not at all
00:55:58.140 so these guys are inside
00:55:58.980 and we do have i do we
00:56:00.660 have the clip of the
00:56:01.540 secret service agent
00:56:02.940 talking about this is this
00:56:04.800 is one of the most
00:56:05.480 unbelievable things i've
00:56:06.380 ever heard in my entire
00:56:07.120 life i can we play this
00:56:08.700 my eyes are going to roll
00:56:09.480 back in my head i cannot
00:56:10.420 continue i think for the
00:56:11.400 rest of the day you may
00:56:12.020 need to deal with that
00:56:13.340 because this clip must be
00:56:14.900 heard look this is kim
00:56:17.300 cheetle she's the uh the
00:56:18.600 head of the secret
00:56:19.140 service it should not be
00:56:21.920 more than five minutes
00:56:22.940 after i play this clip
00:56:23.820 that she is no longer the
00:56:26.020 head of the secret
00:56:26.520 service this is the most
00:56:27.720 embarrassing thing i've
00:56:28.760 ever heard in my entire
00:56:29.920 life listen the shooter
00:56:32.380 climbing up seemingly
00:56:33.440 unimpeded about 400 feet
00:56:35.740 from the stage with a
00:56:37.100 direct line of sight on
00:56:38.360 the former president
00:56:39.280 should that roof have been
00:56:40.800 secure period that
00:56:42.320 building in particular has
00:56:43.420 a sloped roof uh at its
00:56:45.300 highest point um look at
00:56:47.080 you know there's a safety
00:56:48.060 factor that would be
00:56:48.900 considered there that we
00:56:50.020 wouldn't want to put
00:56:50.520 somebody up on a sloped
00:56:51.900 roof uh and so you know
00:56:53.760 the decision was made to
00:56:55.040 secure the building uh from
00:56:56.500 inside i mean i cannot even
00:57:00.580 freaking believe she said
00:57:02.900 that and this is i think her
00:57:04.760 tour to try to get her to
00:57:06.200 keep her job right she doesn't
00:57:07.820 want to do this interview
00:57:08.500 someone in the in the white
00:57:09.800 house said get out there and
00:57:11.180 get ahead of this we look
00:57:12.060 like you know we look like
00:57:14.560 we're completely incompetent go
00:57:15.820 out there and solve this and
00:57:17.020 her answer is ah you know
00:57:18.000 it's a sloped roof so we
00:57:19.500 can't put anybody up there
00:57:20.480 ever i saw people roofers
00:57:22.020 all over america posting
00:57:23.060 pictures of themselves on
00:57:24.100 roofs that are like straight
00:57:25.000 down being like hey i can
00:57:26.120 help out whenever you need
00:57:27.040 me did you see did you see
00:57:28.440 the picture of this actual
00:57:29.680 snipers that were behind
00:57:30.740 trump on that roof on a
00:57:32.340 sloped roof it's actually i
00:57:33.840 thought it was the same
00:57:34.500 building no it's not it's
00:57:35.740 more of a slope yes that is
00:57:38.080 the comments of a woman that
00:57:39.220 is frightened for her job and
00:57:41.100 she's covering her butt
00:57:41.880 because she should be why
00:57:42.920 would she be covering it
00:57:43.800 unless she knows that
00:57:44.940 they're negligent here she
00:57:46.840 knows they are they i mean
00:57:48.220 when you watch the sniper
00:57:50.120 crawling around up there i
00:57:51.940 mean the only thing he's not
00:57:52.700 doing is burpees he could be
00:57:54.180 doing burpees and like
00:57:55.720 somersaults it's it's
00:57:56.960 incredible she should be gone
00:57:59.520 today absolutely today there is
00:58:02.360 i don't want to i don't want to
00:58:03.700 wait for the hearing i don't
00:58:05.020 want to wait for any more
00:58:05.860 answers this is over get her out
00:58:08.140 of there immediately not just
00:58:09.720 for the safety of donald trump
00:58:10.820 and now rfk but also president
00:58:12.600 biden yeah every single person
00:58:15.260 who is under the control of the
00:58:17.140 secret service with her at the
00:58:18.540 head of it is in danger and this
00:58:22.620 needs to end today there's no
00:58:24.960 waiting i know she's supposed to
00:58:26.300 come testify god only knows what
00:58:28.360 she'll say then well there was
00:58:30.140 it was too high off the ground i
00:58:32.740 what is she gonna talk i don't
00:58:33.840 know what her next excuse is gonna
00:58:35.060 be it was a metal roof which gets
00:58:36.820 awful hot i didn't want this i
00:58:40.120 didn't want the bottom of my
00:58:41.240 officer's shoes to melt while
00:58:42.720 they were on i'm legitimately
00:58:44.580 expecting something like that of
00:58:45.960 this woman it's completely
00:58:47.200 ridiculous everyone's talking
00:58:48.200 about the dei part of that that
00:58:49.600 needs to be investigated
00:58:50.480 absolutely that is all real and
00:58:52.620 all needs to be done it also
00:58:53.840 needs to be done with her not in
00:58:55.200 control of the secret service
00:58:56.120 she needs to get me out of there
00:58:57.460 immediately no to go on
00:58:59.700 television after the president
00:59:02.080 former president of the united
00:59:03.080 states and probably future
00:59:04.220 president of the united states
00:59:05.140 was almost almost had his head
00:59:08.260 blown off in front of not only
00:59:10.660 us but a lot of our children
00:59:12.040 watching this speech the fact that
00:59:14.960 her excuse for that is the roof
00:59:17.160 the roof was slow beat
00:59:20.540 it's one of the most insane i mean
00:59:24.720 it's on the level of like baghdad
00:59:26.600 bad bob from like the iraq war saying
00:59:29.240 oh there's nobody here and two
00:59:30.580 minutes later they're out of power
00:59:31.680 like it's that bad of a statement
00:59:33.660 it needs to be over today yeah but
00:59:36.820 26 minutes is what i keep on going
00:59:39.540 back to i can't if you if going back
00:59:42.400 to kevin costner like narrating this
00:59:44.260 if if you heard all these details
00:59:46.320 like the secret service says that
00:59:48.000 this is this kevin costner saying
00:59:49.860 this in the courtroom it was a
00:59:51.280 slopey roof so the secret service
00:59:52.560 said they couldn't you know put as
00:59:53.980 they're supposed to uh snipers up
00:59:55.740 there they they noticed the sniper
00:59:57.740 they noticed lee harvey oswald 26
01:00:00.240 minutes before the actual shot
01:00:02.000 they noticed lee harvey oswald pull
01:00:04.340 out a rangefinder they noticed lee
01:00:06.660 harvey oswald then come back with a
01:00:08.260 backpack what like are you kidding
01:00:11.340 me and then all this reported and
01:00:13.020 this was before have you seen you've
01:00:14.560 seen that video where it's like two
01:00:15.660 minutes and they link up yes people
01:00:17.260 are like officer officer officer he's
01:00:19.300 on the stage trump should have never
01:00:21.460 even been on the stage that's what i
01:00:22.860 was going to ask you is that i
01:00:23.980 immediately my impression would have
01:00:25.300 been that okay let's use your 26
01:00:27.180 minutes all right and we we have a
01:00:29.600 possible threat inside our perimeter
01:00:31.540 right so you pull him pull him hold
01:00:35.240 off what he doesn't need to be on the
01:00:37.200 stage yeah you can wait and they've
01:00:39.080 done it before you can make it look
01:00:40.480 however you want to look like yeah
01:00:42.260 like you know like oh we got another
01:00:43.500 speaker coming in or oh you know but
01:00:45.220 whatever you can make up whatever
01:00:46.760 whatever yeah wait what if you're the
01:00:48.760 other speaker they're just gonna put
01:00:49.840 you on stage this is usually why a
01:00:51.600 guy like stew comes in last minute
01:00:53.240 you have to fill in hi wait a minute
01:00:56.380 that's happening today oh whoa i'm
01:00:58.580 doing the show today for glenn who was
01:00:59.960 quote-unquote sick he seemed fine
01:01:01.880 yesterday i gotta tell you are there
01:01:03.480 threats on this studio like i just
01:01:05.480 throw stew on i'm not feeling well
01:01:07.360 right now myself i might have to get
01:01:08.760 out of here all right let's take a
01:01:09.820 quick break we're back and more with
01:01:11.260 more of this just a second this is
01:01:13.220 incredible i want to tell you about
01:01:15.680 mantis x now look one of the things
01:01:18.460 that stops a bad guy with a gun as we
01:01:20.060 saw at the shooting was a good guy
01:01:22.240 with a gun and you need to have people
01:01:24.340 who understand what they're doing
01:01:25.860 apparently we have members of this the
01:01:28.640 head of secret service does not seem
01:01:30.140 to know what is going on but if you
01:01:32.700 want to be more proficient and with
01:01:34.880 your firearm you're going to need

01:01:44.760 situation where you need to be the

01:01:47.900 what you're doing you need to perform
01:01:49.780 a little bit better than some agents

01:02:26.100 now 888-727-BECK we're gonna be going
01:02:28.480 to your calls here about five minutes so
01:02:30.940 hang out for a couple more minutes
01:02:32.160 Jason before we before you go we we
01:02:36.700 have a situation where conspiracy theories
01:02:40.320 are all over the place the ones on the
01:02:41.880 left are hilarious like they are just
01:02:43.640 straight out like why he wasn't
01:02:45.120 actually shot it's not a real bandage
01:02:47.280 like they're going you know all the
01:02:50.040 way to the wall with every conspiracy
01:02:51.660 theory week they can come up with and
01:02:54.220 you're starting to see some of this I
01:02:55.460 think on the right too is trying to
01:02:56.840 explain what the hell happened here
01:02:58.160 yes and normally like a lot of the
01:03:00.380 conspiracy theories you can dismiss
01:03:01.580 right away in this situation I think a
01:03:04.200 lot of them you still can dismiss
01:03:05.580 however I kind of understand people
01:03:07.980 reaching for theories after watching
01:03:10.020 this debacle or what does this mean to
01:03:13.060 our country it shows that how you know
01:03:17.900 how they've been operating these
01:03:19.820 situations in the past with with big
01:03:22.100 time political motivations behind it
01:03:24.040 like this breeds conspiracy theory yeah
01:03:26.920 they're creating this situation and
01:03:28.420 what I mean by that is every single
01:03:30.380 time something like this happens
01:03:31.560 everything is immediately scrubbed
01:03:33.720 access is locked down and they just
01:03:35.960 won't tell us anything you still don't
01:03:37.200 know what happened to the Las Vegas
01:03:38.160 shooter what the hell yeah I mean we
01:03:40.800 don't know all they can say is this
01:03:43.320 all just came out of nowhere that's a
01:03:44.740 really really you have no lead normally
01:03:46.940 we get something though this situation
01:03:49.240 depending on the the if it was a guy
01:03:51.780 with a white power tattoo across his
01:03:54.040 forehead we would know now I think
01:03:55.920 absolutely and I we really know very
01:03:59.300 little about the shooter here we are
01:04:01.220 several days after a presidential
01:04:02.460 assassination attempt and we we have
01:04:04.120 very very little about this guy he's
01:04:06.620 apparently just one of the only 20
01:04:08.320 year old on earth that wasn't going
01:04:09.440 online a lot he is apparently like we
01:04:13.140 know that he you know they keep saying
01:04:15.120 he's a registered Republican it's the
01:04:16.400 only detail they repeat it's the only
01:04:17.840 one and and that he made a donation to
01:04:19.680 a liberal cause this is not a sane
01:04:21.440 political move if you're if you're
01:04:24.740 actually a registered Republican you're
01:04:26.280 not going through act blue to just to
01:04:28.760 donate to a liberal get out the vote
01:04:30.420 campaign that's just not happening
01:04:31.580 okay so I've done intelligence
01:04:32.640 counter-intelligence that's it sounds
01:04:34.380 exactly like textbook way of how you
01:04:36.660 confuse the masses yeah that might not
01:04:38.340 be what they're doing because but
01:04:39.560 because they're not being
01:04:40.260 transparent let's give them one thing
01:04:41.960 on one side and one thing on the other
01:04:43.480 and have them fight it out yeah
01:04:45.120 meanwhile we never figure out and like
01:04:46.780 the lowest form investigation never
01:04:48.620 really happens right the lowest forms
01:04:50.600 of the left and lowest forms of
01:04:52.020 humanity people like Eric Swalwell are
01:04:54.260 out there going like oh I guess a
01:04:55.460 Republican Republican should really
01:04:57.040 stop shooting their own candidates now
01:04:58.960 he is just a complete dirtbag how does
01:05:01.600 that guy even have the balls to
01:05:03.460 continue to say anything in public
01:05:05.040 anymore yeah considering his parts on
01:05:07.080 live TV he sleeps with like Chinese
01:05:10.020 agents right like allegedly like come
01:05:12.680 on like how do you have the guts to even
01:05:14.740 say anything go in your hole because
01:05:17.020 the president of the United States just
01:05:18.660 continues to lie every day too why not
01:05:20.920 them I I personally love the fact that
01:05:23.420 this is a man who slept with a Chinese
01:05:25.920 spy over and over and over again and
01:05:28.480 you led with the fact that he farted
01:05:29.940 on live television that was your
01:05:31.320 number one criticism of Eric Swalwell
01:05:34.420 which I will say is he did fart on live
01:05:38.640 television that is not a conspiracy
01:05:39.960 theory that occurred not watch that
01:05:42.120 replay of that like on repeat for like a
01:05:45.360 30 minute period all right it's
01:05:47.180 triple eight seven 27 back
01:05:48.500 Glenn Beck NMLS one eight two three
01:05:53.460 three four NMLS consumeraccess.org

01:06:01.220 for details about credit costs and
01:06:02.660 terms all right there you go one
01:06:03.840 eight two three three four whatever it
01:06:05.500 is right Jeffy you know the you know
01:06:06.660 the NMLS number from back in the day
01:06:08.320 would it be nice to live in a world
01:06:10.580 where your credit card balance wasn't
01:06:11.980 hit with crippling compound interest
01:06:13.860 sounds kind of nice right unfortunately
01:06:16.060 we don't live in that world and if
01:06:18.480 you're someone who has to use credit
01:06:19.720 cards a lot chances are fair that you
01:06:21.960 could end up into lots and lots of
01:06:24.000 debt and that's not a fun place to be
01:06:26.220 the kind of especially when you're
01:06:28.000 talking about the kind of debt that
01:06:28.860 can wipe out your savings and set you
01:06:30.340 back years and years if not
01:06:31.560 permanently if you're a fiscally
01:06:33.300 responsible person you should find a
01:06:34.980 little time in your schedule to give
01:06:36.780 the mortgage consultants over at

01:07:30.640 Stu in for Glenn Beck along with Jeff
01:07:33.700 Fisher who is here with me today by the
01:07:37.100 way I want to remind you we've got a big
01:07:39.960 show on tonight for studios America which
01:07:42.200 includes going through the Lester Holt
01:07:43.860 Joe Biden interview the parts that you
01:07:45.780 may have missed fantastic interview it
01:07:47.500 really was riveting and Joe Biden is
01:07:51.140 somehow getting a pass on this thing
01:07:52.560 just because of the news cycle didn't
01:07:53.900 make you proud that he's the president
01:07:55.040 of the United States his interview with
01:07:56.580 Lester Holt I frequently just feel an
01:07:59.420 overwhelming sense of embarrassment
01:08:01.900 watching this guy speak it's incredible
01:08:04.180 how often it happens to me it's that
01:08:05.580 cringy feeling that you have like I can't
01:08:07.640 believe this guy is our president he is
01:08:09.340 unreal he is and he doesn't seem to be
01:08:11.240 actually operating as a president but
01:08:12.800 we'll get into that more tonight go to
01:08:14.320 youtube.com slash Stu does America
01:08:16.120 follow the show click the bell for
01:08:17.400 notifications because we're doing a lot
01:08:18.540 of live broadcast when all this breaking
01:08:20.100 news is happening so don't miss it
01:08:21.440 throughout the day and it'll give you a
01:08:23.080 little bit of an alert I want to get your
01:08:24.740 phone calls in here because we've been
01:08:27.180 trying to cover all the news we've been
01:08:28.400 trying to hit everything it's been
01:08:29.700 impossible yeah oh my gosh it's
01:08:31.720 overwhelming literally we joked you know
01:08:34.020 three months ago that it's overwhelming
01:08:36.340 and it really is now I've never seen a
01:08:38.540 week like this just the fact I mean just
01:08:41.360 the RNC is always what dominates this
01:08:43.900 week of coverage always and then add on
01:08:46.320 that the VP happens where Trump kind of
01:08:48.080 like releases that at the same time so
01:08:49.740 there's added drama we have all the
01:08:51.440 stuff with Joe Biden's mind failing and
01:08:53.640 then we have a bullet hitting the former
01:08:55.600 president of the United States all in the
01:08:57.220 say at the same time it's overwhelming
01:08:58.460 and so I want to feel I want to ask you
01:09:00.440 that are you overwhelmed when you're
01:09:03.380 watching all of this how do you feel
01:09:04.940 what is your sense of where the country
01:09:06.700 is going we want to hear from you
01:09:08.560 888-727-BECK we'll start with Kay in
01:09:12.380 Ohio Kay welcome to the Glenn Beck program
01:09:14.500 with Stu and Jeffy thank you well your
01:09:17.720 question was am I how do I feel about
01:09:20.480 JD Vance as the VP and I'm excited about
01:09:25.500 it I wanted he was kind of one of my picks
01:09:28.360 I would have been happy with any of them
01:09:30.140 but I'm extremely happy that he picked
01:09:32.840 him and I this morning I was listening to
01:09:36.780 a show locally that there was this guy
01:09:40.180 from Cleveland and he's some kind of you
01:09:43.060 know talk host or whatever I don't know
01:09:45.360 anyway yeah he was saying oh that's a
01:09:50.360 terrible pick because he's not a woman or
01:09:54.240 he's not black or he's not something else
01:09:56.980 and I'm like go to be careful thank you
01:10:02.520 thank you it's a tense time I don't feel
01:10:07.320 like I those words typically slip out of
01:10:09.760 your mouth Kay but maybe you are that type
01:10:11.800 of person but I appreciate it and thank
01:10:13.560 you for the call I will I've heard that
01:10:15.780 same criticism a lot and I don't really
01:10:18.300 get it because we sit here and we
01:10:20.920 criticize these companies for going woke
01:10:23.480 we criticize these candidates for going
01:10:25.820 woke we laugh at the diversity equity and
01:10:29.640 inclusion efforts and then everyone's
01:10:31.740 like well he's got to choose a woman he's
01:10:33.680 got to choose a person of color like this
01:10:35.820 is Donald Trump we're talking about the
01:10:37.860 whole point of him as candidate as a
01:10:40.200 president and he'd tell you the same is I
01:10:42.000 don't deal with that nonsense I pick on
01:10:44.920 merit go back to the apprentice and watch
01:10:47.280 it that was the whole point who I think
01:10:48.780 will do the best job period yeah that's
01:10:50.760 that's what it's supposed to be so I will
01:10:52.720 say just on that front I never believed
01:10:54.480 that I always believed he would pick who
01:10:56.300 he thought was the best candidate and J.D.
01:10:59.300 Vance is two things about the J.D.
01:11:03.100 Vance pick number one in 2016 he picked
01:11:06.160 out of a position of weakness he was
01:11:08.740 worried that the evangelical right would
01:11:12.260 not come along with Donald Trump he the
01:11:14.260 party wasn't comfortable with them they
01:11:15.820 didn't know they didn't know what was
01:11:16.900 going on lots of question about about
01:11:18.560 Donald Trump he picked Mike Pence to
01:11:20.500 sure up that part of his base he doesn't
01:11:22.920 need to do that anymore now he's at a
01:11:25.120 position of strength certainly within the
01:11:26.880 party but I think also looking at this
01:11:28.640 election he believes he's winning it so
01:11:31.380 if you're winning the election and again
01:11:33.240 you can argue whether he's going to or
01:11:34.800 not but if you think you're winning the
01:11:36.960 election you can pick somebody who you
01:11:39.140 think will be the will help your legacy
01:11:41.460 will continue your policy platforms when
01:11:44.560 you're long gone and J.D. Vance is a great
01:11:47.180 pick for that he's very well aligned with
01:11:48.900 Trump he has an intellectual backbone to
01:11:50.800 the Trump policies what is he 39 he's
01:11:53.060 39 years old so this and he's great on
01:11:56.740 television he's super smart we'll see how
01:11:59.300 he is I mean he speaks tonight you know
01:12:01.660 Vivek was great yesterday at the RNC I
01:12:06.040 mean it's the new breed you're not seeing
01:12:07.380 any of the old the old school RNC
01:12:11.040 Republicans at this convention the new
01:12:15.200 breed is there interesting to watch all
01:12:17.420 right okay thanks for the phone call
01:12:18.420 Jack in Ohio welcome to the Glenn Beck
01:12:20.540 program with Stu and Jeffy hey Stu hey
01:12:24.220 Jeffy hello I'll answer the question that I
01:12:26.860 was talking about before which is I think
01:12:30.760 that we got a great pick in the vice
01:12:34.480 president I've shook his hand he is a good
01:12:37.960 guy and I think that he'll do an awesome
01:12:41.080 job with President Trump and he's driving
01:12:44.180 the left nuts yes I think that any of
01:12:46.660 those people who spoke last night the
01:12:51.220 three common people and all of his former
01:12:54.720 opponents yeah we have such a deep bench
01:12:58.360 yeah that's for sure in the Republican
01:13:00.260 party I would have voted for any of those
01:13:03.860 people before Joe Biden or anyone else
01:13:08.500 yeah they all looked they all looked
01:13:10.840 really good you know I don't know that I
01:13:12.220 would have voted for Nikki Haley but
01:13:14.820 the others I mean Sarah Huckabee was
01:13:17.660 great last night Vivek was you're right
01:13:20.600 they even put an adorable dog on the stage
01:13:22.480 for part of the night whoever that dog
01:13:24.480 was very cute very cute dog yeah no I think
01:13:27.480 they're right there is a big bench now
01:13:28.800 you have to factor in that the Democrats
01:13:30.140 have Kamala Harris so oh yeah oh yeah and
01:13:34.860 Gavin Newsom oh yeah yeah they got that
01:13:37.920 going on for them which is nice no I mean
01:13:40.620 it was it is there is a good crowd there
01:13:43.120 I mean you with Cruz Ramaswamy DeSantis
01:13:45.880 Haley I mean look Haley you might not
01:13:48.280 agree with I know you don't like her
01:13:49.460 policies as much as some of these other
01:13:50.680 people but like on a normal Republican
01:13:53.180 year Haley would probably be better than
01:13:56.160 half of the people that run yeah that's
01:13:58.260 very true and on paper was a pretty
01:14:00.080 strong candidate I don't know I think
01:14:01.940 you're right there is a there is a good
01:14:03.240 bench there and I will mention too on
01:14:05.200 J.D. Vance a lot of people are saying
01:14:06.820 well you know it's not a person of color
01:14:08.440 who is he appealing to he's appealing to
01:14:11.040 the Rust Belt yeah he is a man who is
01:14:13.100 famous because he wrote Hillbilly Elegy
01:14:15.140 Hillbilly Elegy the baby back at number
01:14:17.560 one on Amazon Prime yesterday on Prime Day
01:14:19.680 and in the top ten on Netflix I'll add
01:14:21.620 yeah yeah because people are interested
01:14:23.420 it's him speaking about the problems of
01:14:25.780 that specific area which coincidentally is
01:14:28.980 the exact area Donald Trump needs to win
01:14:30.900 a state in if he wants to become
01:14:32.400 president of the United States again he's
01:14:34.200 got to win Pennsylvania Wisconsin or
01:14:37.200 Michigan one of the three and yes you
01:14:39.680 know Vance is from Ohio but I mean he's
01:14:44.020 from that area the book specifically
01:14:46.080 addresses the areas the needs and
01:14:49.340 problems of the voters in those areas
01:14:51.640 you know Trump reportedly said well
01:14:54.920 what do you get someone asked him what
01:14:56.060 are you going to do with Vance he says
01:14:56.920 I'm going to make I'm going to leave
01:14:58.480 him in Pennsylvania was his answer in
01:15:00.740 other words go to these areas and just
01:15:03.460 pound the pavement and and and look Vance
01:15:06.020 knows these people he knows these voters
01:15:08.200 really really well he came up as a person
01:15:11.800 dealing with all these same problems and
01:15:14.200 so from that perspective I think it's an
01:15:15.680 underrated pick I think it does have
01:15:17.960 utility it's not just a legacy pick but
01:15:20.120 it does fit that as well Tom in
01:15:21.880 Pennsylvania oh but you're gonna be
01:15:23.680 seeing a lot of J.D. Vance in the
01:15:25.300 coming months Tom welcome to the
01:15:27.140 Glenn Beck program we look forward to it
01:15:29.660 you know a U.S. Marine a graduate sumo
01:15:33.700 cum laude of Yale Law School do you think
01:15:35.420 he'll be able to keep up with Kamala
01:15:36.660 though God can you imagine Kamala Harris
01:15:38.840 against against J.D. Vance J.D. Vance is
01:15:41.660 going to smoke Kamala in a debate he did
01:15:44.100 that with Tim Ryan who was somewhat strong he
01:15:47.920 was certainly very well funded Senate
01:15:50.020 candidate in his last run he smoked him in
01:15:52.480 those debates I mean go back and watch some
01:15:54.360 of the highlights J.D. Vance is not going to
01:15:56.160 have a problem with the intellect of Kamala
01:15:58.360 Harris that I promise you look forward to it
01:16:01.300 but I'll tell you having worked in Pennsylvania
01:16:03.160 politics for the better part of 50 years I'm
01:16:06.540 I'm not overconfident you know because this
01:16:09.020 is a tough state I've worked for the state
01:16:11.600 House for 35 years I worked in campaigns
01:16:14.380 statewide campaigns back in like 1981
01:16:16.580 and it's it's a tough state and it's gotten
01:16:20.160 a little tougher for Republicans but
01:16:21.940 and I remember one thing Governor Dick
01:16:24.480 Thornburg said our former governor going
01:16:27.140 way back he was asked about politics you
01:16:30.780 know eons ago and he said well in politics
01:16:33.220 a year is like a millennia so you know a lot
01:16:37.480 can happen between now and November so I'm
01:16:39.900 a little worried about that and anybody who's
01:16:41.420 overconfident needs to get checks yes this is
01:16:44.580 a great point Tom and let me add on to it
01:16:47.740 because I talked to a lot of people friends
01:16:50.000 who are like this is over I got news for
01:16:52.760 you it's certainly possible is Donald Trump
01:16:55.460 the favorite absolutely he's the favorite he
01:16:57.560 was the favorite before he was taking bullets
01:16:59.900 for you right like this is a guy who is the
01:17:02.100 favorite against a candidate with a 36% approval
01:17:05.280 rating who had a 36% approval rating before the
01:17:08.460 debate but one thing I will say is four months
01:17:10.920 is a long time if you go back and you look at
01:17:12.760 the Reagan assassination attempt he did get
01:17:14.980 a bump in approval rating following that
01:17:16.960 assassination attempt it was gone in three
01:17:19.320 months we're three and a half months away
01:17:21.820 from the presidential election and I will say
01:17:25.140 that you might notice that news cycles go by a
01:17:28.580 lot faster these days than 1981 yes they do in
01:17:32.760 addition to that we have the entire cycle of Joe
01:17:36.320 Biden being an invalid on the debate stage and yes
01:17:42.120 that's hurt Biden but he is absolutely still within
01:17:45.940 striking distance in all these polls now the state
01:17:49.260 polling looks worse for him but a normal polling
01:17:52.460 error you know that usually they're not perfect a normal
01:17:55.880 polling error if it goes in the to the side of Joe Biden
01:17:59.140 has Joe Biden basically squeaking out a win wow so
01:18:02.960 that's how close we are now that does not affect does
01:18:05.600 not factor in anything that happened after the
01:18:07.320 assassination attempt we have no good polling since
01:18:09.420 that occurred that'll probably come later this week and
01:18:12.080 we'll get a beginning of a sense of what that thing
01:18:14.080 meant but I'll say this like it all it all feels like
01:18:19.160 it's going you know really well politically for Donald
01:18:22.740 Trump right now and it is I don't remember ever seeing
01:18:26.600 a run like this he's getting cases dismissed against him
01:18:29.980 he's surviving gunshots and like making iconic photos
01:18:34.760 uh he he's in the middle of what seems to be a really
01:18:38.040 successful RNC but these things change fast and the
01:18:41.320 media will do everything they can to change that's for
01:18:43.960 sure that's for sure but that that's what you have to
01:18:47.780 hope uh uh doesn't happen because they want to
01:18:51.860 desperately and when you have the president being
01:18:54.780 combative with the people on his side that's a problem
01:18:58.320 because now you're now dude we were on your side
01:19:02.860 yeah what do you you don't you're yelling at us we're
01:19:06.920 on your side we've been saving you yeah it's true and
01:19:09.480 it's impossible to know where this goes because of what
01:19:11.520 you're talking about Jeffy until we get these who the
01:19:15.500 candidate is sorted out God only knows where this goes
01:19:20.200 and look yes Joe Biden is terrible and of course Kamala is
01:19:23.900 also terrible but Kamala would be harder to beat than Joe
01:19:27.620 Biden because at the very least she can read a teleprompter
01:19:31.820 especially the later it gets yeah and and also she's not to be
01:19:35.180 out in front whoever they replace him with if they replace him
01:19:38.160 is not going to be 81 years old that I can promise you so
01:19:41.480 anyone who can at least solve that problem which is their largest
01:19:45.160 problem when it comes to the polls is his age and incompetence when it
01:19:48.660 comes to uh whether he has the mental acuity to do this job
01:19:52.340 right look no one thinks Kamala Harris is a strong candidate
01:19:55.540 but anything any sort of uncertainty you inject in this situation makes me
01:19:59.700 nervous frankly uh so we'll get into that maybe in a
01:20:02.820 little bit tons more calls on the board we're going to go to those here in a
01:20:05.360 second 888-727-BECK is the phone number
01:20:07.900 give us call let us know how you're feeling what you think is going to
01:20:12.460 happen is everyone around you nervous do they think the society is
01:20:17.140 collapsing because i there's moments i certainly
01:20:20.520 feel that way uh give us a call 888-727-BECK
01:20:23.900 this month we've been celebrating the birth of our nation
01:20:26.880 and remembering the heroes who fought for our freedoms
01:20:30.220 but you know some americans today still don't have that freedom why well
01:20:33.820 they're aborted thousands of unborn babies are
01:20:36.500 and their lives are taken away every single day why do we allow this to
01:20:39.760 happen in our country well pre-born is doing everything they can to try to
01:20:43.380 stop that they are the largest pre-pro-life organization in the
01:20:48.260 country pre-born is and they are leading the charge to put an
01:20:52.000 end to the atrocity of abortion every day they sponsor free ultrasounds for
01:20:56.360 women that's a big deal because you know when these women are there
01:21:00.100 they have double the chance of choosing life after they see
01:21:04.140 the unborn child on the monitor or hear that heartbeat
01:21:07.520 twice as likely you can make a difference with this if you're a business
01:21:10.740 owner maybe you can even do something more than just a couple bucks
01:21:13.560 maybe you can consider a larger donation for a write-off
01:21:16.900 a donation of a thousand two thousand even twenty thousand dollars it is worth
01:21:21.260 it to keep children alive i mean it's not
01:21:24.120 an argument you should have to make in this society but man you do have to make
01:21:26.800 it quite often all gifts are tax deductible will reach
01:21:29.760 eternity as well so get involved today go to donate

01:22:32.720 hi uh thank you for taking my call um i guess this whole dei thing is eating away at me i'm a senior
01:22:40.940 citizen with a very long distinguished career that involves some interaction with the secret service
01:22:46.900 i was around in the workforce way before dei and as a female i am totally insulted by this whole
01:22:55.720 program because let's face it recently all the embarrassment has come from women put in positions
01:23:03.980 for which they were not skilled enough secret service she needs to go yes oh i agree embarrassment
01:23:12.640 to a very honorable organization she only got her job because of her gender so as a fellow female
01:23:19.940 it's like it insults me because i'm thinking every woman with a decent job the rest of the world's
01:23:26.000 thinking they only got it because they were a female yeah it's fascinating her whether she needs to
01:23:31.740 resign she works for us she needs to go yeah okay that's my main beef there linda yeah thank you so
01:23:39.140 much i mean i it's funny i think the people who are most pissed off about this are women
01:23:42.860 it's like what the heck really like that's going to be the example of who we are and of course it
01:23:48.060 isn't right like there are many many millions of very competent women out there doing their jobs very
01:23:53.740 well i will say this the secret service head does not seem to be one of them um uh i don't know i have
01:24:00.380 a vacation next week i i don't know that she has i have a feeling she'll also be on vacation by the
01:24:05.740 time i don't know i don't know i could be wrong on that i don't think this is going to go well
01:24:09.600 uh in fact i luckily we do have sarah gonzalez coming on because if you want to have someone
01:24:14.000 who's going to uh tell us about uh whether women should be in certain roles she has strong opinions
01:24:19.900 on this i can't wait to hear what she has to say about the secret service head so much and i want

01:25:40.720 it's a new day
01:26:08.420 welcome to the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment this is the glenn beck program
01:26:26.900 i was thinking to myself we're in kind of a crazy world right now we're seeing the female head of the
01:26:36.240 secret service tell us that she didn't want to put agents on a sloped roof we're seeing the president
01:26:42.800 of the united states get shot because of that decision and then we're seeing him surrounded by
01:26:49.600 agents many of which seem to be about half the height of the president which seems to be a problem
01:26:55.340 um there are agents who don't seem to be able to holster their own weapons in all of these videos
01:27:00.560 and i thought who's the one person i'd love to talk to about all of these problems
01:27:05.160 sarah gonzalez joins us here in 60 seconds
01:27:09.260 first i want to tell you about my patriot supply i i want you to stop uh what you're doing and think
01:27:14.500 about this for a second your god-given freedoms are up for the taking and even worse those doing the
01:27:18.920 taking are the same people who have sworn to defend your freedom man it's been a crazy time and they've
01:27:25.400 been trying to take away freedom every way they can for years and years and years largely with success
01:27:29.700 but you know what they can't take away from you self-reliance peace of mind do you have let's say
01:27:35.520 water filtration at your home how about a charged solar generator do you have emergency food on the

01:28:49.040 a bucket of water out of the ocean i know that it's okay it's all right it's a big step uh so
01:28:54.440 make sure to subscribe to uh jeffy's podcast and also subscribe to uh sarah gonzalez unfiltered

01:29:14.240 well he sold it well and i appreciate you having me on uh filling in for uh glenn as the diversity
01:29:20.920 hire yes you know you're not a dei hire they said today we're gonna have the dei hire on
01:29:26.720 well here's of glenn here's the thing sarah sometimes and this is going to surprise some
01:29:31.720 people um sometimes uh you know uh women can do jobs really really well um sometimes better than
01:29:38.540 men amazing thing um yeah actually uh and uh i clean my house way better than my husband
01:29:43.100 well i mean let's be clear that i believe believe me that's true in my house that's definitely true
01:29:49.340 in my house absolutely something that should be true for every house there you go thank you jeffy
01:29:53.500 we bring the chauvinism in um and we're gonna get probably even more chauvinism from sarah because
01:29:57.960 i think one of the first conversations i ever had with you we were talking about politics and
01:30:03.000 we were talking about somebody who at the time wanted to run for president a woman and like you
01:30:07.440 know we were like ah you know i think she'd be great i don't remember even who it was and you're
01:30:10.580 like yeah i don't think women should be president no not at all i don't i really don't i'm very strong
01:30:17.840 on that stance yeah you still you still feel that way yes i also think that women uh should not be in
01:30:23.540 the secret service really i i will say or the military or the military so you're just you're
01:30:29.420 eliminating women from so a lot of roles and you mean just like um do you mean like in the field or
01:30:35.600 yeah i mean like combat now i will say i mean if the secret service director is you know any uh
01:30:41.920 example i also don't think they should be high levels of any of those organizations either because
01:30:48.420 clearly they are not capable of making right decisions yeah when it comes to protecting and
01:30:53.240 defending uh you know the one thing they're supposed to do it does feel that way we're talking about kim
01:30:58.040 cheetle she is the uh head of the secret service now her background was she was i think lifelong secret
01:31:03.400 service for at least a very long time she eventually went to the head of security at pepsi and my
01:31:08.140 understanding was there were no assassinations of any pepsi employees big security threats going on at
01:31:13.160 pepsi co i will say my eyes have lit up when the new doritos flavor comes out who knows people steal
01:31:18.660 cheetos all the time i i don't know what you do as a head of security for cheetos or frito lay or or
01:31:25.920 or pepsi but that's where she came from but she was secret service before this so she didn't just jump
01:31:30.320 into this role i will say the focus of the organization recently seems to be uh different than how i think i
01:31:40.040 would set it up if i were the head of it again i'm just a lame i don't know this stuff but it seems
01:31:44.460 really obvious that the the genitals of the agents should not be the focus of you as the head of of
01:31:51.980 security but like dei has been a big deal for this woman yes 100 i mean her one of her main goals was
01:31:57.980 to hire more women right in the secret service why in the world would that even be a goal the goal
01:32:03.860 is to make sure that the person you're protecting is secure and the way that you do that is obviously
01:32:10.020 by having uh giant men surround them giant very strong men surround them you know there was a
01:32:16.220 story not that long ago that i think mostly went kind of unnoticed by the legacy media but there was
01:32:21.600 a story not that long ago about i believe this was one of kamala's uh protection oh yeah remember and
01:32:27.020 it was a woman and she went crazy yes i mean crazy started uh started making threats to the her fellow
01:32:34.600 secret service members to the extent that one of the secret service uh members had to tackle her
01:32:39.480 yeah and and hannah totally missed this and guess and guess what the one that tackled her was a man
01:32:45.120 yeah because men are stronger than women isn't that crazy how that works the one who was able to keep
01:32:52.100 the threat under control was the man and like this is not an insult this is just biology it's just
01:32:59.300 biology you like you're going to be taller i mean the height thing to take out the strength for a
01:33:04.680 second the height thing the average male yes taller than the average female right watching the president
01:33:12.300 of the united states who's a tall guy what is he six four yeah he's he's walking around there and like
01:33:17.680 i liked look i loved the moment where we could see donald trump put his fist up and say fight fight
01:33:23.140 fight it was it was an incredible american moment also should not have been something we could see
01:33:28.780 because he was instead behind large secret service agents right instead we saw him because
01:33:35.260 i mean he's over someone who's like five three yeah well right exactly right but don't worry stew
01:33:40.660 because she she was putting her hand up as if she were iron man thinking maybe if someone took that
01:33:46.280 headshot the bullet wouldn't just go straight through her hand into donald trump's head i mean it's
01:33:51.700 ridiculous of course she shouldn't be guarding someone who's much taller than her right and so
01:33:56.420 and it's not just height it's not just um body mass and strength there does seem to be a difference
01:34:05.020 in the competence level of at least the agents that were there that day correct that's what we saw i
01:34:09.160 mean many of them looked uh surprisingly uh panicked you could hear them there's audio of them saying
01:34:14.900 what are we doing what are we doing where are we going in the moment where they're supposed to have
01:34:19.060 a plan which is exactly what i hear when i'm we're trying to go out to dinner my wife what are we
01:34:23.640 doing where are we going what i don't know honey it is very well you can't expect the woman to come
01:34:28.820 up with a decision no i i brought up 42 restaurants you said no to all of them and then when i asked you
01:34:34.380 for the 43rd one you said i don't care you do care you do care what restaurant we're going to be fair
01:34:40.840 your wife is not a secret service agent she is not and i think she would say she shouldn't be i would
01:34:46.440 agree with that i know your wife and by the way she's stronger than than me so she's she's jacked
01:34:52.400 but she still shouldn't be a secret service agent right so when you watch this and you see
01:34:59.280 the incompetence seemingly of these moments and look i'm not in that moment i've never had to deal
01:35:04.260 with a live fire situation i can't i mean it's got to be the hardest thing in the world but these
01:35:07.620 are the people that are supposed to be able to handle it i know i would handle it poorly that's why
01:35:10.960 i'm not in this job right when you look at this you see the bumbling we notice the bumbling we
01:35:16.740 notice it looks like people have said this but it looked like a scene out of reno 9-1-1 and that's
01:35:22.440 not i mean that's terrifying for not only donald trump or rfk jr but also president biden yeah i
01:35:28.280 don't want anybody assassinated let's skip that that was bad back in the day i remember that it was
01:35:32.720 a really rough era of our of our uh country's history so i mean am i wrong in thinking that this
01:35:40.880 is just dei it is you know they're putting people in the positions not based on merit but based on
01:35:47.420 some other weird metric having to do with gender or something else and that's just wrong for the
01:35:51.340 country yeah i mean the crazy thing about this is that we've leaned so far into dei and we have
01:35:58.300 such incompetency at all of these governmental agencies that it's hard to even know whether this
01:36:05.420 was just straight incompetency or if there was something more sinister at play because we do have
01:36:10.400 a very very active deep state i don't know if anyone's paying attention right and so you got
01:36:14.860 all these people i mean i talked to a green beret sniper who he's very convinced that there was
01:36:20.080 some sort of an inside job or second shooter going on because the levels at which there was just
01:36:25.100 complete failures rose to doesn't make sense it doesn't make sense that it would be a coincidence
01:36:31.400 for this to happen it's more than incompetency and but but but you have to step back and go but how
01:36:36.520 crazy is it that we're living at a time where we have to go i mean this joe biden better hope that
01:36:40.980 this was just straight in uh that joe biden better hope that this was an inside job and not incompetency
01:36:46.480 because because he's a threat he's at risk at risk as well right if this is incompetency yeah and i
01:36:53.120 don't i mean i just he doesn't even know who she is well no he just said to lester ho he has gendered her
01:36:59.660 the lester yeah he doesn't even know who she is he doesn't even know we're in we are in one of the
01:37:04.960 craziest situations any president has ever had to deal with his opponent a former president almost
01:37:10.500 got assassinated and the guy doesn't even know who this head of the secret service is if it wasn't
01:37:15.040 joe biden it would be you know maybe the benefit of the doubt that it was just like yeah i've talked
01:37:20.160 to him you know i've talked i mean you could say he's he's i think they're trying to basically claim
01:37:24.400 it's i talked to them yeah um you kind of just oh that was a him but that's absolutely it was
01:37:30.180 absolutely but because of all those other past right fumbles thank you thank you that was an f
01:37:37.520 word that you're allowed to use yes uh because i thought you're gonna do something no way you're
01:37:40.960 gonna give him uh the benefit of the doubt no way he doesn't deserve it how can you you can't give
01:37:46.200 him the benefit of the doubt and like i was thinking about this where i want the job to be
01:37:53.580 filled because of merit and i think when you're talking about you talk about corinne jean pierre
01:37:58.940 getting that job mostly it's just funny right like she's completely incompetent at it she obviously
01:38:05.220 would have not had this job if she was not black and gay and whatever other um you know intersectional
01:38:11.140 line she crosses she obviously wouldn't have that job and what it does is it gives us a lot of
01:38:15.460 entertainment it's a job that it's sad it does make a difference that she's butchering that job
01:38:21.240 every day but mostly it's just funny to me right right when you talk we're talking about secret
01:38:25.360 service agents when you're talking about our military it crosses a much different line and
01:38:29.120 like look you know if gina carano were on that uh that detail it's probably totally fine she'd
01:38:36.940 probably kick everybody's ass right like you know there are it's possible yes but that does not
01:38:41.480 seem like what they were doing those are rare though right like you're a ufc fighter sure you're
01:38:47.100 probably i don't know probably you can do it i don't think that that is a there there are very
01:38:53.520 few exceptions to that rule and the exceptions are so few that maybe you just don't even look for them
01:38:58.020 exactly right and that that's my stance is sure people are going to come at me they always do and
01:39:02.980 they're like but what about so and so because they could do the job but what about this woman she
01:39:07.880 could be president all right i got it but as a general rule i just think we just don't even go there
01:39:13.220 let's just not even go there are you willing to find out if this is the woman who can actually do
01:39:18.140 the job or not i'm not look i think it's pretty obvious to people that like i think most people
01:39:24.000 would say okay wait a minute a five foot three melissa mccarthy type woman should not be you know
01:39:28.680 can't even find her holster right can't find her holster should not be retaining the president i think
01:39:32.420 you may need to explain the president though line that a woman can't do that job because that seems
01:39:37.360 like just a mental job like it's a yes you don't need to be strong and tough to do that job
01:39:42.100 okay i can i can do that for you okay give this to me and we're gonna take a break okay all right
01:39:46.000 so it's the same thing uh as the secret service director saying no one could be on the roof because
01:39:51.040 it was sloped right women are too emotional to make certain decisions also it's the same thing
01:39:57.800 with the secret service woman going crazy women are too emotional and irrational i've heard the case
01:40:02.100 made that uh they you're dealing with diplomatic you're dealing with world leaders and a lot of
01:40:07.460 world leaders they don't respect women they don't respect women is it wrong yes but it's just the
01:40:11.780 truth of the matter no this is it's very basic i will say i mean you're negotiating with i mean
01:40:17.460 we've had secretaries of state that have been female and there have been reports of like certain
01:40:21.700 countries you know heads of state that just won't even speak to them right so there is there are those
01:40:27.560 risks there now that's not we we don't necessarily have to make uh decisions based on what you know
01:40:32.600 saudi arabia is doing in their country but it is a factor right right it is a factor and then
01:40:38.460 apparently they're too emotional as well i look i'm not a woman i have had women in my life and i
01:40:43.100 you know you tend to be emotional don't they occasionally i mean i do have a daughter who
01:40:47.580 occasionally is occasionally emotional so we'll get into this a little bit more here just a second

01:43:18.300 line as well kind of trying to take the temperature of where you are in your community and the people
01:43:25.420 around you what are people feeling what do you think is going to happen with the election
01:43:28.380 how how are you reacting to the trump craziness uh get in line now 888 727 beck sarah uh where were
01:43:35.000 you when you heard the news that this had happened with donald trump uh at home feeding our toddler
01:43:39.900 dinner and our friend chad prather texted me and said the president was just shot uh trump was just
01:43:46.040 shot and i was like no way yeah you think you think they're joking right you're like okay whatever i
01:43:50.900 texted my mom and told her she said the same thing no you're lying no he didn't and so of course
01:43:55.480 immediately turned on the coverage and then actually had to end up turning it off because
01:43:59.320 our toddler was asking a lot of questions and i was like i can't i can't expose him to this so
01:44:04.820 yeah but yeah it was um it was heavy it was you know i i got a text from a friend who said hey uh you
01:44:11.900 know president or there's he said there were there were shots fired at a trump rally and i and i
01:44:18.200 i'm like oh my gosh so i'm running over to the tv i turn it on i'm like gosh i hope you know trump
01:44:22.000 wasn't hit by them right like you know i'm thinking there's no chance that happened and the
01:44:26.220 first thing you see is just blood on the side of donald trump's face and i go back to this over
01:44:31.440 and over again it's what happened is impossible what happened is impossible a a bullet fired from
01:44:40.640 400 feet away that hit his ear i don't know if you've seen the video recreation that's been going
01:44:47.740 around on the internet baby yes you see the head in like digital form as the bullets are going by
01:44:53.080 and you see him i mean one split second turn his head just slightly that's totally saves his life
01:44:57.840 yes if you brought it into a hollywood pitch meeting they would say that's a dumb plot no one would ever
01:45:02.340 believe that they would hit his ear an absolute miracle that we along with a bunch of toddlers
01:45:09.600 children adults didn't watch the president of the united states head get blown off on national
01:45:14.960 television i mean it is a miracle that didn't happen the fact that he was up there speaking at
01:45:19.820 the rnc and like walking through with a little bandage on his ear is an absolute miracle yeah i mean
01:45:26.380 he glances a different direction and we would be having a much different we sure would
01:45:31.360 it's really hard i mean i get chills just talking about it it's just really hard to fathom it really
01:45:37.060 wasn't it's almost one of those things where because he wasn't killed or you know hurt in a way
01:45:44.320 that he's still lying in a hospital bed and unable to communicate because he was okay so quickly it
01:45:50.640 almost feels like the moment the significance of the moment isn't isn't hitting us yeah you know the
01:45:57.780 fact that he got up and put his fist up and said fight fight fight seconds after you know indicating to
01:46:03.240 everyone i think that he was okay that quickly was really powerful for america and for him and his
01:46:08.720 campaign yes but i think almost took some of the sting out of that moment for america we have to
01:46:15.860 realize how close to the edge we are and how close to the edge we were this weekend oh yeah and it's
01:46:21.600 all because of women because they stepped in and saved him all because of women in the secret
01:46:28.740 security failures okay let me ask you this question put you on the spot right here oh gosh on uh this
01:46:34.760 weekend i am going away for a few days i come back on a week from friday a week from friday i come
01:46:40.460 back is kim cheetle still the head of the secret service yes yes i think so too yes it's amazing to
01:46:49.280 say that how can she last through this and the interviews where she's saying the sloped roof is
01:46:53.840 the problem they're gonna double down on the dei that's what they do they do i mean karen jean-pierre
01:47:00.000 still got her gig after all these years and kamala harris is still the vice president i mean i guess
01:47:05.820 you can't lose a job in the biden administration it's maybe impossible 888-727-BECK your phone calls

01:47:32.440 the u.s dollar is doing around the world did you know for instance that saudi arabia recently did not
01:47:37.720 renew their petrodollar agreement with the u.s that our dollar essentially is losing its status as the
01:47:43.440 world's reserve currency how comfortable are you with that i mean you shouldn't be very comfortable

01:48:38.220 tonight on stew does america we are going to go through the lester holt interview with joe biden
01:48:56.760 that i guarantee you didn't watch because there's too much other stuff going on and you probably saw
01:49:02.080 one or two clips that were really bad we played one of them earlier on today's program but you
01:49:06.100 probably missed a lot there and i think biden is oddly be having his he's he's his coverage has
01:49:14.680 been cushioned essentially by the crazy news cycle and they're not covering this they do want him out
01:49:20.520 it does seem like that and i think we're going to get another push to get him out here in the next
01:49:23.780 couple weeks but ignoring what he did not only at the on the lester holt speech but yesterday at the
01:49:30.660 naacp which was horrible it was unbelievable unbelievable three times at least that i heard
01:49:36.780 of he was in the middle of speech again on prompter talking and just goes and uh anyway
01:49:43.280 i mean that's his that that's his crutch he's got a bunch of them he has many crutches yes that's
01:49:50.900 his crutch there was one time where he was just uh he um back to the prompter yeah or or he'll just
01:49:59.360 redirect he has these like reset crutches yes and anyways one of them you know look is one of them
01:50:05.360 he did his the idea is one of his uh kim jung on story or his kim jung ill story i mean which has
01:50:11.560 been debunked many times whoa whoa whoa he's he traveled uh the most miles with the man that anybody
01:50:19.580 else ever has what a weird flex and he couldn't remember he forgot the story he couldn't remember
01:50:24.400 he says uh in this and and double a cp he wanted to see ncaa uh uh speech that uh because i i've
01:50:34.620 traveled with uh kim jung and we talked together on the mountain forgot the plateau on a mountain
01:50:42.520 just amazing just amazing so needless to say he can't even remember his own story no with all this
01:50:47.700 other stuff going on the biden situation has continued to bubble under the surface and we'll

01:51:48.720 what are you thinking right now let's go to tammy in georgia tammy welcome to the glenn beck program
01:51:53.880 hi i just wanted to say about the um metal building that the secret service was inside you've got a
01:52:02.180 metal building and a metal roof why did they not hear this guy up there yeah i mean i i guess you'd have
01:52:09.820 to see the inside i don't know if there's another layer of uh insulation or something inside the
01:52:14.900 building that's a good question though it's one i'd like to know the answer to yeah i mean there's
01:52:18.180 coffee cups clinking donuts boxes being open you don't know what's going on in the building it's
01:52:22.820 true it's true maybe they're blasting some taylor swift uh they're kind of hanging out you don't
01:52:27.120 know it could be a bunch of ladies who knows what's going on right sir and you're really screwed
01:52:30.700 joe in indiana welcome to the glenn beck program
01:52:34.580 joey will this yes i am okay go ahead it's time to talk
01:52:41.780 hi uh i've been watching the convention and uh after the last couple nights i feel very uplifted
01:52:51.200 in fact i'm very excited uh to be able to vote for something very positive not just against
01:52:58.780 someone uh yeah so i you know i'm really enjoying the convention especially the speakers last night
01:53:05.400 uh i also think that uh jd vance was a tremendous pick i thought they had a lot of great candidates but
01:53:12.320 i think vance uh is a home run in such a contrast to the vice president right now
01:53:20.540 uh while i am excited i'm also somewhat fearful uh i think the the democrats are desperate i think
01:53:30.760 they're ruthless uh i think that um well i think they're capable of anything there are a lot of
01:53:38.720 deranged people out there uh especially the media so i am excited though uh for this election i wish it
01:53:47.120 works tomorrow well yeah that's so does so does trump yes so do i yeah i mean he would have a
01:53:53.620 what 90 plus percent chance of winning if this thing happened this thing in uh thank you so much
01:53:58.120 for the call i appreciate it you know it is fascinating to watch because we've gone through
01:54:02.220 a cycle here over the past let's say 10 years since 2016 where there's always been something weird
01:54:08.280 going on right like the 2016 it was still a very divided party trying to figure out what it was
01:54:14.180 2020 obviously it was covid that was bizarre 2024 like i think you can make an argument that
01:54:20.760 trump taking over the party is i mean it is done right like the jd vance thing i think locks this in
01:54:27.280 for a very long time you know it was interesting if you picked let's say marco rubio i don't think it
01:54:31.760 necessarily would have been for sure right vance locks in this trump version and look it's just it's
01:54:37.320 just trump's party like it don't like it it's just true but like i think as a as a an event
01:54:43.880 a convention it works a lot better when you just everybody's on the same page and it does feel
01:54:49.420 like people are there now yeah i i thought it was funny msnbc ran a graphic that was like notable
01:54:55.040 republicans who are not at the rnc and it was like george w bush uh you know all of these like very old
01:55:03.080 school uh republicans who the new breed would say we don't want them there anyway right i mean look we
01:55:08.620 had we had mcconnell uh announcing for kentucky right and he gets booed just for the announcement
01:55:12.940 yeah yeah mike pence was on the list i mean it's like guys we're done we're done with those people
01:55:17.360 and you mentioned it's trump's party now and i don't disagree with that but i also want to point
01:55:21.980 out it's america first and that's what we've all come together and said we're tired of you guys
01:55:27.000 sending all of our money to all of these foreign countries we're tired of you guys making you know
01:55:31.200 brokering deals with china we're tired of all of our jobs going overseas like we are ready for a party
01:55:36.880 to put our country and our people first and i think that that most you know first and foremost
01:55:42.420 is why jd vance is just such a great pick well and it's a great point and i think it was one of
01:55:47.480 the interesting things about let's say people like rubio where rubio is like not he's not aligned with
01:55:52.860 jd vance version of essentially what we should do in ukraine for example yeah this is a very specific
01:55:58.480 pick to say something that's been central to donald trump's ideology for a long time which is
01:56:03.740 more uh you know you can you could you could call it isolationist at some level not wanting to be
01:56:09.740 involved with with foreign affairs as much um he has been that way since the 80s you know he's there's
01:56:17.580 certain things that donald trump has believed the entire time we've known him uh you know border
01:56:21.240 security crime prevention um and uh and you know being less involved overseas he's been that way for a
01:56:29.100 long time those are the three main planks i would say you know like he's not always he's been pro-choice
01:56:33.360 before but he's come a long way on that there's a lot of different stuff he's changed his mind on
01:56:37.060 but that has been pretty consistent and jd vance takes that and make it makes it from a situation
01:56:45.560 that we had before which has been this guessing game for everybody for a long time donald trump
01:56:50.240 comes in he takes the world by storm he takes over the republican party is this just a donald trump
01:56:56.220 thing though is it a thing where donald trump is around for four years or eight years or in this
01:57:00.320 case 12 years because of the uh the four years we're unfortunately living through right now
01:57:03.900 and and then he comes and then he's done and then there's a battle for power does it go towards
01:57:09.040 the trump direction does it go towards the old school direction is there some new direction what
01:57:12.260 is it this is a move by donald trump if he can win that sets the republican party on a trumpian path
01:57:20.180 for as long as we're gonna we can see in the foreseeable future you agree with that sarah
01:57:25.020 yeah absolutely we're making america great again so we're gonna make america great now she's got
01:57:29.180 the red hat on you can't see it but she's got the red hat on i'm all for it let's do it let's make
01:57:33.400 america great again there we go i mean we're real seriously yeah now it's gonna take some doing
01:57:39.500 you know i mean what's the job's not done in four years no it is not that's why this pick was so
01:57:44.300 important this last three years three and a half years it's gonna be a lot to recover from that
01:57:49.360 yeah i mean even just even just take one aspect of that right like the border you can't fix that in
01:57:55.000 four years well you can you can start locking it down no no no no no you can make progress right
01:58:00.560 but it but the job is not done in four years it shows with trump right like trump wasn't able to
01:58:04.720 do it right uh dismantling the deep state you don't you can't do that in just four years you need more
01:58:09.720 time than that again progress can be made but you need someone to carry the torch for you all right
01:58:14.820 let's go to larry in florida larry welcome to the glenbeck program hi i uh i wanted to make a
01:58:21.700 point about jd vance i think he's brilliant picked by trump but maybe in a way a lot of people aren't
01:58:26.760 talking about it sends a message to the never trumper and rhino republicans uh that you know we're not
01:58:33.420 gonna have that this time we're gonna have we're gonna do it trump's way it's definitely a trump party
01:58:37.520 that is definitely true thanks for the call larry i don't know look i don't even know if that
01:58:41.800 message needs to be sent anymore i keep hearing people like i can't believe this mitch mcconnell
01:58:45.560 mitch he's not even a factor not really anymore really like this is over yeah that that battle
01:58:51.640 that i think a lot of people are obsessed with at least online on twitter i see it all the time it's
01:58:55.580 like stop worrying about paul ryan like paul ryan isn't there anymore paul ryan has got a corporate
01:59:00.760 job he's had a corporate job for years and years and years you don't have to worry about that anymore
01:59:05.060 i mean look we there will always be people you don't like in the government but like this has been a
01:59:11.180 situation where like trump tried to essentially take over the republican party and move certain
01:59:17.020 parts of it in totally different directions he has succeeded he won he won that battle and i you know
01:59:24.540 some of those changes i really like some of them i don't like as much but overall the the truth of
01:59:30.660 the matter is whether you like it or not it's just freaking true you know i i get these people
01:59:35.600 online all the time like especially on the conservative sort of you know media side they're like well
01:59:40.440 you got to blame you know libertarians libertarians have no role in this they can't even run their
01:59:46.400 own party let alone the republican party look at who they nominated i mean they get they're nominated
01:59:51.320 like they can't even like they can't even do run their convention they're they're inviting donald trump
01:59:58.500 to the freaking convention he's taking over their party too right like i just like it's just we get
02:00:04.380 these sort of debates that pop up and they last way longer than the utility uh requires like these
02:00:10.600 are not even questions anymore look the guys want it that's where the american people are right now
02:00:15.000 he gets to take the the party in the direction he wants to take it in and the american people had a chance
02:00:21.580 in 2024 to say i'd like to go in a different direction than donald trump i'd like to keep the general
02:00:28.280 direction but tweak it with you know whether it's ron desantis or whoever up nikki haley whoever you want
02:00:32.860 they said no they said they wanted this direction this is what the party is like these other debates
02:00:38.980 on the trump train baby come on that's where that's where the party is right i mean i'm not wrong on that
02:00:43.800 no no let's take another call can we take one more from lucy in ohio lucy welcome to the glenbeck
02:00:49.740 program hi stew and jeff you're doing an awesome job but i'm actually excited i didn't know sarah was
