00:02:18.380 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:02:22.280 Glenn Beck is on.
00:02:24.180 Hello, America.
00:02:25.260 Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program.
00:02:26.820 It's Wednesday.
00:02:27.480 And I know it's a bummer of a Wednesday on multiple fronts.
00:02:32.840 Multiple fronts.
00:02:34.060 But there is a lot to learn, a lot to do.
00:02:37.060 And let's get right to it.
00:02:38.240 We'll tell you about the election and what it all means, in my opinion.
00:02:41.540 And we are loaded with really good guests to give us analysis.
00:02:45.440 Coming up in just a minute, first of all, let me tell you about Chapter.
00:02:48.540 Interesting Medicare fact.
00:02:49.880 You can make a perfectly reasonable decision based on the information you have
00:02:53.620 and still end up paying more than you need to
00:02:55.720 because the plan that worked for you last year may not be the best plan
00:02:59.700 for your prescription coverage this year or for your doctors this year.
00:03:04.220 Provider networks can change premiums and out-of-pocket costs can change.
00:03:08.240 And you're expected to keep track of it all while going on with your normal life.
00:03:14.740 Right now, their licensed Medicare advisors can compare plans from multiple insurance companies
00:03:19.820 and help you understand exactly what you're getting.
00:03:22.400 And there is no cost to their service.
00:03:24.920 Demand has been enormous.
00:03:26.740 This is open enrollment right now.
00:03:29.140 Open enrollment.
00:03:30.060 and you need to be able to get the right plan
00:03:38.220 by the beginning of next year.
00:03:40.000 They're taking your calls right now.
00:03:41.780 Weekends are also open.
00:03:44.160 It's busy, but please do not hesitate.
00:03:48.460 Make sure you have the right advice.
00:03:50.540 It's pound 250.
00:03:51.800 Just dial pound 250.
00:03:52.880 Say the keyword chapter, pound 250, keyword chapter.
00:03:55.320 Act now before you're left overpaying for the wrong coverage.
00:03:58.840 Okay, thank you.
00:04:00.060 Now, last night, not going to sugarcoat it at all.
00:04:05.280 Republicans lost badly.
00:04:07.300 And it's not a surprise.
00:04:08.780 It really isn't.
00:04:09.760 We've been saying this for a long time.
00:04:13.060 They lost.
00:04:14.460 It wasn't close.
00:04:15.520 And it was not a fluke.
00:04:17.260 But it's also not the message that the Democrats are going to take from it.
00:04:20.720 And I don't know what Republicans are going to take from it, but probably the wrong message.
00:04:25.420 um democrats flip seats in ohio iowa kansas north carolina south carolina maine and texas
00:04:33.600 texas elected its first democratic senator since 1988 and uh its first republican i mean democrat 0.95
00:04:41.220 governor i think since k bailey hutchins hutchins hutchinson what was her name oh ann richards that's
00:04:48.200 right and richards in 94 um if you don't uh the down ballot was even worse in texas you've lost
00:04:56.680 texas uh susan collins nearly after 30 years she's out so it's not about being moderate
00:05:03.560 you got that republicans it's not about being moderate you lost susan collins the graham seat
00:05:10.080 in south carolina is now gone it is only the fifth time since world war ii that one party
00:05:15.660 has flipped both chambers in a midterm okay those are the facts now why first of all let's get this 0.94
00:05:24.320 out of the way it wasn't stolen let's get this out of the way the voters are not stupid and the media
00:05:31.720 as much as i'd like to hand them this bill they didn't do this either nearly nine in ten voters
00:05:37.340 said the cost of living drove their vote twice as many said their family's finances were worse
00:05:43.300 when they expected them to be better.
00:05:47.900 62% disapproved of the president.
00:05:51.120 Republicans lost their edge on the economy,
00:05:53.840 which was supposed to be the one thing we couldn't lose. 0.80
00:05:56.960 Latino voters moved. Young voters moved. 0.87
00:05:59.640 Men split down the middle.
00:06:01.300 Candidates picked for their loyalty instead of their ability to win,
00:06:05.060 lost one after another after another.
00:06:08.580 This was not a love letter to the Democrats, however.
00:06:11.920 Voters still view the Democrats negatively.
00:06:15.980 Three out of four disapprove of all members of Congress.
00:06:20.640 So what happened?
00:06:23.600 This is a tired, worried, angry country firing at whoever is holding the keys.
00:06:30.300 And this time it was us.
00:06:40.940 Let me tell you the truth. Let me tell you the absolute truth that every American needs to hear.
00:06:46.560 We are putting too much hope in one man or in a party. And it didn't start this year. For decades,
00:06:53.480 we've told ourselves that if we just get the next win, the right guy, we hold the House,
00:06:58.800 we hold the Senate, we hold the court, then it'll all be fixed. It's not going to be fixed.
00:07:03.020 It will not be fixed. 0.95
00:07:05.600 Stop hoping in a party and in a man.
00:07:09.040 President Trump did more than any other man to stop progressivism in my lifetime since Woodrow Wilson, since the beginning of progressivism.
00:07:19.260 He can't get it done.
00:07:21.560 And while we waited for Washington to fix it, many of us stopped doing the things no election can ever do for us.
00:07:27.920 I want you to know, thank you for going out and voting yesterday.
00:07:31.420 Thank you.
00:07:33.020 Thank you. Thank you for getting up and doing the thing you didn't want to do.
00:07:38.520 But you did it anyway, because you know it's your responsibility.
00:07:44.580 But we have abandoned the truth. And I mean as a country, we've abandoned the truth.
00:07:49.140 Truth doesn't need a majority. The truth needs a witness.
00:07:56.560 How many of us are witnessing the truth?
00:08:00.080 And by the way, not your truth, not my truth, the truth.
00:08:05.120 I want you to know, trouble is coming.
00:08:07.700 Bad trouble is coming.
00:08:09.620 And not just in America.
00:08:10.920 This was the first global election, I think, in world history.
00:08:17.060 Not that it was a conspiracy to overthrow anything.
00:08:21.520 They didn't control the elections or anything else.
00:08:23.860 This is just a global effort to destroy the West. 0.89
00:08:26.580 With the Marxist and Islamist, we know it. 0.95
00:08:28.920 we've mapped the network. It's there. Why is the exact same thing happening in country after 0.98
00:08:35.280 country after country? Why is Slotkin talking about the iron broom when that's a term out of
00:08:43.680 Poland? What's happening in Poland is going to happen here. What's happening here is going to 0.82
00:08:49.140 happen in Brazil. What's happening in Brazil is going to happen in France. Why? Because this is
00:08:54.720 a global effort. And global trouble is coming. Here in our country, there are going to be
00:09:01.580 investigations and gridlock. They were saying earlier that they're not going to try to impeach
00:09:06.940 Donald Trump, but they are. They're now all talking about lawyer up, President Trump.
00:09:11.860 It's going to be impeachments, impeachments, impeachments, impeachments, and hearings,
00:09:15.480 and hearings, and hearings. That's all this is going to be. My guess is they're going to come
00:09:20.620 in drunk on power and i'll give you my opinion on that later on in the program but that's what's
00:09:26.920 going to happen they're going to be drunk with power and it's going to split the democrats i
00:09:32.080 think because the the old school democrats what whatever is left of those guys they're going to
00:09:38.080 be snuffed out unless they stand up and fight and they're going to know it how many of them
00:09:41.880 have a spine i don't know but there's going to be gridlock and fights we won't win but the debt
00:09:50.560 doesn't care who won last night, neither do any of our enemies overseas. I will tell you, you know,
00:10:02.560 some people, a lot of people, I greeted every, I was the first in today, and I greeted everybody
00:10:07.100 that came in, and some people woke up angry, some people woke up depressed, some people woke up
00:10:14.800 wanting revenge, some people just want to turn off the radio and never turn it back on.
00:10:20.560 And I understand all of them.
00:10:22.480 I understand all of them.
00:10:24.020 And all four of those things are wrong.
00:10:31.160 Our mission today is to bless God, thank God for the good things and the bad things.
00:10:42.040 That's what he commands us to do.
00:10:46.960 We've been here before.
00:10:48.300 about 450 years before christ jerusalem was a ruin the walls had been down for generations the gates
00:10:57.680 had been burned people were that were living there had gotten used to it you know in that world
00:11:04.340 a city without walls was just waiting for raping and pillaging that's what happened over and over
00:11:10.800 and over again okay it would be taken you had to have walls then a guy named nehemiah heard about
00:11:17.120 it he's a thousand miles away he wasn't a king he wasn't a general you know he he poured the
00:11:22.800 persian king's wine and he wept and he prayed for his country and he asked the king can i go back
00:11:31.080 and rebuild the king was like rebuild rebuild what he lets him when he gets there there's no
00:11:38.700 way to rebuild everything he doesn't he can't hire an army can't hire an army of builders he he
00:11:45.600 He doesn't have money for a program.
00:11:47.460 He had nothing.
00:11:48.480 Nothing.
00:11:50.680 Chapter 3 of his book lists the names that everybody skips.
00:11:57.100 Everybody.
00:11:58.000 In fact, I skipped it for years.
00:12:00.940 And if you skip it, you miss the entire point of the story.
00:12:05.720 And this is what we must learn from yesterday.
00:12:15.600 Chapter 3 says, the goldsmiths took a stretch of the wall, and so did the perfume makers.
00:12:23.560 One man worked his section of the wall with his daughters, and there were the priests
00:12:27.840 that worked their section, and the merchants, and the mayors of little towns.
00:12:31.780 And the same phrase comes back over and over and over again.
00:12:35.580 Each repaired the wall against his own house.
00:12:42.880 What does that mean?
00:12:43.700 it means nobody took on the whole wall every man had to take a piece of that apart right there at
00:12:52.240 his own front door and forget everything else and when the enemies first came they first mocked
00:12:59.260 one of them said that if a fox jumped on that wall it would it would fall down then they plotted an
00:13:05.020 attack Nehemiah did not jump but he did not go out to settle the score he wasn't angry he wasn't
00:13:11.100 worried. He wasn't depressed. He didn't want vengeance. He just stationed people by their
00:13:16.680 families, half worked and half stood watch. The builders kept a sword at their side while they
00:13:23.380 laid the stone. He told them, don't be afraid. Remember the Lord. Remember everything is fine.
00:13:30.180 He's got you, but you must do your part. Lord will be there and to fight for their brothers
00:13:37.560 and their sons and their daughters and their wives and their houses.
00:13:40.680 That's your responsibility.
00:13:42.560 The wall had been down for generations.
00:13:46.900 You know how long it took them to finish the wall in Jerusalem?
00:13:50.180 52 days.
00:13:52.820 52 days without an army of construction workers.
00:13:58.200 The book says when the enemies heard that,
00:14:01.440 they lost their nerve because they could see
00:14:04.220 that these people were strong
00:14:07.440 and this work had to be done by God
00:14:09.700 because nobody, no king did it.
00:14:11.780 No party did it.
00:14:13.180 No neighbors did it.
00:14:14.420 It was all done one house at a time.
00:14:19.900 Now let me take you to more recent history.
00:14:23.240 December 1776, our own wall was down.
00:14:26.960 Our army was melting away.
00:14:29.080 Congress had fled Philadelphia.
00:14:30.720 george washington was about to be replaced nobody had confidence in him
00:14:38.400 and a staymaker's son named thomas paine he had walked with the retreat across new jersey
00:14:46.980 and in the drumbeat and as he's marching words kept coming to him and he finally just wrote
00:14:52.840 them down and gave them to a guy on horseback and said find general washington get these words to
00:14:58.380 him. Here's what he said. These are the times to try men's souls. The summer soldier, the
00:15:09.700 sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country. The summer
00:15:17.460 soldier is the one who shows up when we're winning. Last night, summer ended. It's just
00:15:26.140 the way it is. Summer always ends. My challenge to you today is the same challenge, honestly,
00:15:36.060 I give to myself. Thank you, Lord. Thank you for all of the good things. Thank you for all
00:15:47.480 of the blessings you have given us. Thank you for all of the opportunities you have given us.
00:15:51.600 thank you for recognizing our own failures and thank you for the bad things because they will
00:15:57.560 only make us better i saw a question online last night a statement really if god's on the throne
00:16:09.780 then why did he let this happen america is over let me answer that when we come back
00:16:18.880 First, let me tell you about pre-born.
00:16:20.480 A woman facing an unexpected pregnancy, frightened about money, her relationship.
00:16:24.720 She's going to manage the next few months.
00:16:26.880 And the answer that she hears as she's trying to figure out, how am I going to do all of this?
00:16:33.400 She hears there's a pill.
00:16:35.760 There's a pill that will kill the baby.
00:16:39.540 And then you don't have to worry about any of this because it's way beyond you.
00:16:42.680 It's not beyond her.
00:16:44.100 She just feels alone. 0.99
00:16:46.180 This is where pre-born comes in.
00:16:47.920 They work to reach women before the decision is made, offering a free ultrasound and connections
00:16:53.600 to practical pregnancy support. I want to emphasize practical because compassion has to be more than
00:17:00.820 somebody telling you what to believe. It means you've got to be willing to be there when their
00:17:05.380 circumstances are frightening and their future seems uncertain. Why did we lose last night?
00:17:11.840 Because nobody in the Republican Party can see the people who are hurting and saying,
00:17:16.600 I'm here with you. Together we'll make this better. This is why pre-born is so effective.
00:17:26.880 If you're a business owner and you've had a good year, would you consider a donation,
00:17:31.060 a larger one for a write-off? A donation of $1,000, $2,000, $10,000, $15,000 would sponsor
00:17:36.540 an ultrasound machine for a needy clinic, helping save countless babies' lives for years to come.
00:17:41.720 All gifts are tax-deductible, and we'll reach through the eternities.
00:17:45.260 We need blessings, guys.
00:17:48.720 Preborn, I'm telling you, Tanya and I give a lot of money to Preborn
00:17:53.480 because we so believe the blessings that our nation can get
00:17:58.920 from saving God's most vulnerable, it's the best thing we can do.

00:18:27.200 so this person tweeted last night if god is on the throne then why did he let this happen
00:18:33.000 that really valid question has been asked since the beginning of time and it is it is answered
00:18:43.980 far too many times in the way that leads good men good women to lose their faith
00:18:50.940 the the answer is that sometimes bad things happen in a world to really good people and happen
00:19:01.260 and they're bad? Because the world is run by a good God who allows us to be free.
00:19:10.420 And freedom means you enjoy the fruit of your labor, but also the consequences of all of our
00:19:16.160 choices. Not all of them, thank God. In miraculous moments, God steps in to protect us from ourselves.
00:19:25.960 You know, I will tell you, I got up this morning and I was praying, and the thing that I kept
00:19:31.020 hearing in my head was, shake and awake. I can't shake you awake anymore. I've tried. I've tried.
00:19:39.140 And I've given you chance after chance after chance, and you keep trusting the wrong things.
00:19:44.200 Why are you trusting a party? Why won't you trust me? Have you not seen what I have done?
00:19:51.740 you know we call these things miracles but they happen every day and we probably don't even notice
00:20:00.960 them notice those moments today notice that every good thing is a gift
00:20:06.680 you know and if you find that there is really nothing good to notice remember that god calls
00:20:14.000 us to do the right thing regardless of the outcome that's the gift of our free will you
00:20:20.680 You know, in the story of the first murder in history, Cain killed his brother Abel.
00:20:24.340 But before he did, God came to Cain and tried to stop him.
00:20:29.560 Cain was bitter because things had not gone the way he hoped.
00:20:32.400 I mean, this is the oldest story in the book.
00:20:34.680 He had to make an offering to God.
00:20:37.700 And he had done his part, he thought.
00:20:40.680 But God was like, no, that's not what I asked for.
00:20:42.900 No.
00:20:44.000 And didn't accept it.
00:20:44.780 So now he wonders, why do bad things happen in a world run by a good God?
00:20:49.180 And God answered.
00:20:50.680 He said, Cain, why are you sad?
00:20:53.380 If you did what was right, then you can hold up your head high.
00:20:57.760 But if not, evil is crouching at your door.
00:21:01.260 That's the message for today.
00:21:03.620 You did your part.
00:21:05.260 Be proud.
00:21:06.320 Praise God for the good and the bad.
00:21:08.600 Don't sink into depression.
00:21:10.740 Despair is a luxury for people with nothing left to protect.
00:21:15.100 You have a family.
00:21:16.780 We have a country.
00:21:18.180 We have our communities.
00:21:20.040 And remember, evil is crouching at your door, but you can reject it.
00:21:24.880 You can refuse to be angry today.
00:21:28.480 You know, anger feels like strength, but all it does is burn all the fuel you need for all of the hard work ahead.
00:21:34.800 And we've got a lot of hard work.
00:21:37.740 And don't go looking for revenge.
00:21:39.460 The person who voted the other way, they're not your enemy. 0.92
00:21:42.780 It's the woman who sits two pews up.
00:21:45.260 The guy who plows your road.
00:21:47.320 The kid's teacher.
00:21:48.180 the guy who mows your lawn, and most of them are exactly like you.
00:21:52.400 They were scared about their grocery bill.
00:21:55.420 This was not an embrace of the left.
00:21:59.240 It was not a rejection of the right.
00:22:01.800 This is a rejection of this corrupt system.
00:22:07.180 I got to throw these guys out too because they said they would correct it and they didn't.
00:22:12.200 So I can't vote for you.
00:22:13.920 I'm going to vote for these guys because at least they're seeing me.
00:22:22.400 Jesus didn't say love your enemies after they come around.
00:22:25.740 He said love them.
00:22:27.300 But he also said be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
00:22:32.280 That means eyes wide open and hands clean.
00:22:37.340 Seek the truth, even when it ignites your own side, and then teach it.
00:22:42.860 Teach it to your kids at your table, your grandkids, your Sunday school class.
00:22:47.540 Teach them who we are, the good, bad, and the ugly, because people who forget where
00:22:53.020 they came from will believe anyone who tells them where to go.
00:22:57.200 Preserve our history, our books, our letters, our family stories, and tell these things
00:23:02.860 to your children.
00:23:04.780 All right, time to double down.
00:23:06.120 Now, let me tell you about real estate agents I trust.
00:23:09.480 You know, selling a house is one of the few transactions in life
00:23:12.040 where people will happily take advice from somebody
00:23:14.280 who has absolutely no idea what they're talking about.
00:23:16.980 My brother-in-law says the house is worth $50,000 more than the markets say.
00:23:20.660 You know, your neighbors should wait until spring
00:23:23.800 because your neighbors don't get it, but I get it
00:23:26.440 because I've been doing this now.
00:23:27.900 I took a class and have a license.
00:23:31.940 Anybody who says, you know, you don't need an agent
00:23:34.460 because they sold a couch on Facebook Marketplace
00:23:37.680 and it rent really, really well, avoid them.
00:23:40.540 House is pretty complex.
00:23:42.700 That's why my brother and I started Real Estate Agents I Trust.
00:23:46.540 We wanted people to access experienced real estate agent professionals.
00:23:50.420 These are the people that we wanted to access.
00:23:52.440 We didn't know how to find them, so we learned.
00:23:54.840 We started working with the 500 best real estate agents in the country,
00:23:58.640 according to the Wall Street Journal, and we learned from them.
00:24:00.860 And then we started finding more of those people so we could turn you on to them.
00:24:04.760 It's a free service to you.
00:24:06.260 I don't charge you for it.
00:24:07.400 Just check out realestateagentsitrust.com.
00:24:09.920 We'll show you how to sell or buy a home, even in this tough market.
00:24:13.220 The name says it all, realestateagentsitrust.com.
00:24:17.100 With Democrats now in control of Congress, protecting your family's financial future
00:24:21.160 is more urgent than ever.
00:24:22.540 That's why we made our torch special, Capital Controls, free at youtube.com slash Glenn Beck.
00:24:37.400 uh welcome to the uh program i uh we we have john solomon joining us here in just a little while
00:24:58.700 um we'll uh we'll get to him as soon as he calls in i just i i i want you to double down on what's
00:25:08.060 at your front door your marriage your future marriage your kids your future kids must come
00:25:19.120 first then your church then your school board then your city council then your county then your state
00:25:24.540 Washington should be last priority
00:25:29.720 the first in line is always you
00:25:35.140 you're the only one I have faith in anymore
00:25:38.040 I trust the American people
00:25:40.880 even the people who vote differently than I do
00:25:43.260 I trust them
00:25:44.240 I trust them
00:25:46.400 and that's getting harder and harder to say
00:25:50.520 but it's not when you
00:25:52.340 when you factor in fear.
00:25:54.620 There is so much fear going on.
00:26:01.440 Never hand your hope either
00:26:03.000 to somebody who can lose the next election.
00:26:06.040 Why would we do this?
00:26:09.060 I want you to know,
00:26:10.880 do not despair.
00:26:12.820 Do not give up.
00:26:14.200 Do not give up.
00:26:15.360 Why would you give up on the greatest idea
00:26:17.960 in all of human history?
00:26:21.520 Why would you give up on that?
00:26:26.120 You are the people that have the chainsaw that I meet after the storm.
00:26:30.820 You are the people that rescue people in other countries that nobody's paying attention to
00:26:37.400 and telling you to sit down and shut up. 0.92
00:26:39.980 You are the ones. 0.98
00:26:42.240 I'm not giving up on that.
00:26:43.900 I'm not giving up on you.
00:26:45.000 I'm not giving up on the idea that all men are created equal.
00:26:48.220 Your rights come from God.
00:26:49.560 You know what? The rights come from God, not from whoever won yesterday.
00:26:56.720 And free people can govern themselves if they'll govern themselves first.
00:27:03.960 That idea didn't lose last night. A party lost last night. A party did.
00:27:12.480 Ideas don't die at the ballot box. They die at the kitchen table.
00:27:17.460 That's my main message to you today.
00:27:21.040 Focus on your kitchen table.
00:27:24.940 Ideas die at the kitchen table when nobody bothers to pass them down.
00:27:29.720 We have to double our efforts.
00:27:31.320 I have to tell you, for all of the things that are coming, there's a lot that is coming.
00:27:41.060 And I don't think there's anything more important in my life than to double down on our museum.
00:27:46.620 no intention of telling you this
00:27:54.540 I'm telling you this only for one reason
00:27:56.600 to show you my commitment
00:27:58.560 Tanya and I just gave 5 million dollars
00:28:03.020 to the museum
00:28:03.820 we're spending 5 million dollars of our money
00:28:08.300 and we're putting it into the museum
00:28:10.020 because we know history must be taught
00:28:14.040 and no matter what's coming our way i'm not i'm not taking that money back why would i do that
00:28:22.440 i know what's true and i know what solves this it's god and history and gratitude and humility
00:28:30.660 john solomon is uh with us now uh john uh quite a night yesterday yeah uh they are now talking
00:28:41.840 about impeachment they were they were kind of saying that but then you know some of the democrats
00:28:46.400 were like no we're not going to impeach trump we're going to go out after all the little guys
00:28:49.820 around him which i think would honestly could involve me and you um but uh now they're saying
00:28:57.540 impeachment is coming what are we in for well we're in for uh the democratic version of what
00:29:04.260 the republicans just did which is they squad they're going to squander a chance they were
00:29:07.980 told to fix the affordability issue. They won't. They're going to spend us into oblivion or tribe
00:29:12.200 and Donald Trump will stop them. And in two years, the American public will be as mad at the 0.51
00:29:18.340 Democrats as they are last night at the Republicans for failing to fix the affordability issue to
00:29:24.520 for failing to fix the issues that are most painfully felt at the kitchen table. Democrats
00:29:30.340 don't believe in cheap gas. They brag about bringing the prices up. They're not going to
00:29:34.460 solve the problem. They're going to focus on their nativist issues in the party, socialism
00:29:40.320 and excessive spending and the climate change regime and going after Trump. And none of that
00:29:49.180 will fix the very issues that the American people just said last night in desperate terms they want
00:29:54.500 to fix. So they'll set up for a boomerang election in 2020 if they keep on this course. Now, maybe
00:30:00.480 cooler heads will prevail people get giddy the morning after a big election uh when people sit
00:30:05.760 down maybe they'll think through and realize we got to really uh solve the affordability crisis
00:30:10.420 nothing the democrats put on the table in this election uh was really aimed at solving gas
00:30:16.720 prices the affordability issues there uh the american people didn't hire the democratic party
00:30:22.040 they overwhelmingly fired the republican party and the democrats will probably play right into
00:30:27.440 the same failure of the Republican Party, which was to forget why you were hired and squander the
00:30:34.440 issue that got you into power. And in two years from now, we'll be back to another
00:30:38.760 reverb moment in American politics. I think the American people are just tired of hiring and
00:30:45.340 firing and never getting the result that they want. The buying power of the working class has
00:30:49.200 continued to be squandered. Donald Trump made some improvements, but not as many as needed to
00:30:54.100 be made to keep power in the midterm elections. So the Democrats are going to execute a playbook
00:30:58.880 and they're probably going to end up with a very similar response two years from now,
00:31:02.680 unless they focus on what got them there last night, which is the American people are
00:31:08.580 really struggling to find someone to fix their affordability crisis.
00:31:13.520 So the problem is, is that none of their solutions, like you said about gas prices,
00:31:17.980 none of their solutions will do those. They'll only make things worse. However,
00:31:23.180 Or they're really good at passing that blame.
00:31:27.180 I mean, you know, John, you know this.
00:31:29.980 In 2008 and 2009, we were all talking about, no, Obamacare is going to make it more expensive.
00:31:35.360 They kept saying less expensive.
00:31:36.780 And I said, it's going to make it more expensive.
00:31:38.540 And then they're going to blame it on the system again and say we need to go all of the way.
00:31:43.500 So they have this ability to escape accountability one way or another.
00:31:49.560 But when is one party or the other actually going to wake up and serve the people?
00:31:55.840 Because I'm not sure the Republicans are going to learn the right lesson from this either.
00:31:59.840 I've already seen, last night I started seeing people say, see, we were too extreme.
00:32:03.900 You were too extreme.
00:32:04.940 You did nothing.
00:32:06.480 You did nothing. 0.72
00:32:07.960 Yeah, you were too tepid.
00:32:09.560 That was the truth of the matter. 1.00
00:32:11.240 Susan Collins wasn't thrown out because she was extreme. 0.98
00:32:13.860 Different debates. The nativists and the conservative movement say this is all about going Native American first and the anti-war people.
00:32:22.460 This is not to be misread. This is the simplest message in American history.
00:32:27.160 You were supposed to focus on affordability. You were hired to fix the affordability crisis.
00:32:32.540 And when we got to November of 2026, the two biggest indicators that hit you at the kitchen table, gas prices for Americans and then in the breadbasket of America, diesel prices for farmers, which passed down to every other element of our of our society, they were at four and six dollars.
00:32:53.260 It was a certain moment of repercussion last night.
00:32:59.420 The Republicans have to just understand it.
00:33:01.280 It's not about anything else.
00:33:02.380 By the way, a lot of the people that went to the polls last night and voted for socialists actually like the border enforcement.
00:33:08.320 They liked voter ID.
00:33:09.740 They like a lot of things that the Republicans stand for.
00:33:11.900 They do not like socialism by a large margin.
00:33:16.000 They expressed capitalism preferences over socialism last night.
00:33:19.480 they did not hire the left wing of the democratic party that won so overwhelming last night they
00:33:25.300 fired and repudiated the republicans for failing to do the job they were hired to do
00:33:29.760 now it's not years from now that's going to flip around unless the democrats wise up quickly yeah 0.67
00:33:34.760 that's not the message that the islamist and the marxist are going to take from their arrogance
00:33:39.780 they're going to overplay their hand okay can can you take us through quickly you you've put 0.78
00:33:44.340 together five pillars for a conservative recovery can you take us through that here in the next
00:33:48.500 five minutes? Sure. Yeah, listen, I think when you have a moment like this, this is the Republicans
00:33:54.440 1994 election. If you remember, 94 set the modern Republican Party on its path to 20, 30 years of
00:34:00.720 on and off roll. The guy gave rise to the Trump movement. This is the Republicans 1994 night. And
00:34:07.920 there are two ways to deal with it. You can wander in the desert for months and years, like the
00:34:12.840 Democrats did, or you can quickly read the tea leaves and resolve the issues there. The first
00:34:19.160 thing that you have to understand is that this has got to be a fix for affordability. You've got
00:34:24.280 to make very clear that your policies are aimed at, from this point forward, Republicans dealing
00:34:30.900 with the things that make life unaffordable. Excessive spending, which drives up interest
00:34:35.480 rates. We're going to be spending $2 trillion a year in interest payments alone on the reckless
00:34:40.280 that we we've assembled in the last 20 years you've got to get back to gas prices being down
00:34:46.140 you've got to veto if you're the president every insane spending bill that the democrats put your
00:34:51.440 way not be afraid to draw a line this is a this is all about common sense versus crazy so
00:34:57.740 affordability has to be the policy discipline of this white house but before you get there
00:35:02.400 because you're going to see lawfare and impeachment you got to create a significant
00:35:06.360 impeachment in lawfare defense.
00:35:09.540 You've got to make sure that your best athletes on the conservative side
00:35:12.940 can survive the constant lawfare and not be bankrupt by the process.
00:35:17.000 So the president has to raise private money
00:35:18.760 and maybe make a declaration that anyone in government gets defended
00:35:22.260 with government money to hire their own private lawyers
00:35:26.440 to put up the best defense.
00:35:28.080 Because one of the tactics will be to take all of the athletes
00:35:31.460 of the conservative movement off the field for the next decade or two
00:35:34.520 by bankrupting them.
00:35:35.480 So you've got to get that fixed like tomorrow.
00:35:38.000 That's an easy thing.
00:35:38.980 Two simple things.
00:35:40.000 Executive order to say anyone in government or worked in government or advised government
00:35:44.840 gets defense from government funds to face a government inquisition.
00:35:49.240 And two, we're going to get private money together and raise a shirt about a private
00:35:52.740 money and let's protect law licenses and careers and fortunes and not let people be punished
00:35:58.040 by a political process that doesn't have much merit.
00:36:01.260 Then you've got to get to the basics of blocking and tackling in politics.
00:36:05.160 One of the things that's very clear, I live in Virginia, the Republican Party doesn't exist as an apparatus anymore.
00:36:11.020 It does not know how to win parties.
00:36:13.120 The Christian coalition regime that was so powerful in Virginia 30 years ago, it doesn't exist. 0.73
00:36:19.800 And they don't know how to gather significant electoral advantages election after election. 0.63
00:36:25.000 And that's going to be the case now in many places.
00:36:26.960 North Carolina, the party broken, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa.
00:36:31.080 These are all places you've got to go back to the basics of blocking and tackling.
00:36:35.160 New York Giants have been awful for a long time.
00:36:37.320 They're bringing a guy like Jim Harbaugh.
00:36:39.140 He brings everybody back to the basics.
00:36:43.520 Block, tackle, execute plays.
00:36:45.900 Don't get fancy. 1.00
00:36:47.100 The Republicans need to do that.
00:36:48.740 Their infrastructure has been fraying for a long time.
00:36:51.580 You also have to be honest about what the infrastructure is.
00:36:54.520 For 30 or 40 years, from that 94 revolution, cable television was the staple for Republicans.
00:37:01.900 We owned it.
00:37:02.500 Talk radio.
00:37:03.200 We owned it.
00:37:03.800 uh republicans had a significant advantage in um uh evangelical voters and and others there are
00:37:10.540 new constituencies that have to be engaged america's demographics change uh we're quickly
00:37:15.900 becoming a majority minority country uh hispanics are the most natural snap into the republican
00:37:22.940 coalition alongside the working class and all those that trump brought into the party
00:37:26.640 we did nothing after the 24 election to engage hispanics and catholics on the issues that matter
00:37:32.620 and they turned against us after turning towards us. 1.00
00:37:34.900 They extended their hand to the conservative movement.
00:37:39.000 We've got to go back and create the coalition of 2028 and 2030,
00:37:44.160 not the one of 1994 or 1996.
00:37:47.320 It's a demographically different America.
00:37:49.920 Young anti-war, young people are a good part of the coalition.
00:37:55.780 Bring them in.
00:37:56.900 But you've got to focus on those sort of constituencies, Hispanics.
00:38:00.440 small business entrepreneurs are a big part of the conservative coalition today big corporate
00:38:05.840 america has gone woke they're not the kind of the the chamber of commerce and nfib are not the
00:38:11.060 republican party's constituents anymore the nra isn't what it used to be create a veterans and
00:38:16.500 military alliance that's pro-gun but also pro-security and pro-law and order and rebuild
00:38:21.460 these constituencies quickly the quicker you do that the quicker you get back to viability
00:38:26.260 particularly because Democrats are going to overplay their hand.
00:38:29.580 When I first got to Washington in 91, then I met this wily old, by the way,
00:38:34.600 very progressive senator from Wisconsin.
00:38:37.380 He was a guy that actually cared about saving money.
00:38:39.820 He had the Golden Fleece Award.
00:38:40.960 His name was Bill Proxmire.
00:38:42.300 And he told me three things that have served me well in my 40 years in Washington.
00:38:46.080 One, follow the money, sometimes the sex, but mostly the money.
00:38:49.280 You'll know what's going on in Washington.
00:38:50.600 Two, never underestimate the ability of Democrats to overplay their hand.
00:38:56.260 and never underestimate the ability of Republicans to rescue defeat from the jaws of victory.
00:39:01.400 And that's what Republicans did.
00:39:02.720 They were handed a historic coalition in 24,
00:39:06.240 and they squandered it by failing to stay focused on what Americans asked them to fix.
00:39:11.260 Democrats are going to do the same thing.
00:39:12.920 They're going to overplay their hand with extraordinary alacrity over the next two years.
00:39:17.280 That is a moment where infrastructure, focus, message, discipline, coalition building
00:39:23.260 can put the Republicans back in business much quicker
00:39:25.560 than the normal recovery from a drubbing like this election.
00:39:29.280 I hope they listen to you, John, because I think you're absolutely right.
00:39:32.840 John Solomon, Just the News, he's the CEO and editor-in-chief
00:39:37.920 and one of the best journalists I know.
00:39:40.420 Thank you, John, I appreciate it.
00:39:41.800 Great to be with you, Glenn.
00:39:42.700 You bet.

00:41:37.240 I want to show you some of the acceptance speeches that are truly a little frightening, quite honestly.

00:44:41.780 hello america i want to talk to you uh i want to start this with um one of the most pessimistic
00:44:48.960 things that i have read and it's from laura loomer and she writes i hate to say it but america is
00:44:55.080 over the communists and jihadists are going to open our borders and replace our votes with votes
00:44:59.760 from illegal aliens we now have reps openly speaking about their hatred for america their
00:45:04.340 love of communism their sports for sharia law okay all of that is true except america is over
00:45:10.860 it's not over we're best when we're down we're best when the world has counted us out we always
00:45:21.100 Oh, that's when we shine so we're not over.
00:45:25.560 You know, Washington is the roof.
00:45:28.420 You are the foundation, and houses do not collapse from the roof down.
00:45:34.400 If the foundation is strong, you know, the world gets changed in capitals, but it's going
00:45:40.440 to be saved in your kitchen.
00:45:43.280 Do not buy into the despair.
00:45:46.900 Know the power of the individual.
00:45:49.900 Know the power of the American people.
00:45:53.440 Things are going to get hard.
00:45:54.900 They're going to get worse.
00:45:55.780 And it's not just because of the Democrats.
00:45:57.480 It's partly because of the Republicans.
00:45:59.840 I'll get into this in a minute.
00:46:01.420 It's that they've refused to listen.
00:46:03.340 These guys are going to come in so arrogant, they're going to overplay their hand.
00:46:07.620 Where the real trouble is coming from is the globe.
00:46:12.500 That's where the real trouble is.
00:46:15.880 You have power over these things.
00:46:18.300 Don't feel powerless.
00:46:20.320 And remember, stop giving your hope to a party.
00:46:25.980 Start giving your hope and your faith to God.
00:46:29.700 More in a minute.
00:46:30.460 Give me 60 seconds.
00:46:31.860 Mercury one.
00:46:33.340 You can usually tell what somebody believes by what they're willing to sacrifice for.
00:46:38.260 You know, I believe that's true of organizations.
00:46:42.020 You can write a beautiful mission statement.
00:46:44.100 You can put it on your website.
00:46:45.220 You can frame it in your office.
00:46:46.340 but eventually somebody has to roll up their sleeves and actually do something about it.
00:46:50.180 And that's what Mercury One has been doing for years. When disaster strikes, we help get relief
00:46:55.540 to people when they need it. When Christians face persecution, we work to help those in danger.
00:47:01.840 And through the American Journey experience, we're preserving the documents, the artifacts,
00:47:05.780 and the stories that help Americans understand the country they've just inherited. Tanya and I
00:47:11.220 talked about this a lot recently, and you know how I feel about preparing. You know how I feel
00:47:16.360 about, hey, save your money and everything else. We've just made a contribution to all three of
00:47:21.780 those things because I know when times get tough, we have to do the things that we have to do to
00:47:28.580 save Christians, to save the persecuted, to feed people who are in trouble, and to preserve our
00:47:34.520 history please join tanya and i in this mercuryone.org mercuryone.org
00:47:41.620 so i have i have a lot of prayers today i have a lot of prayers i'm sure you do too
00:47:51.460 the the republicans are at a crossroads good good and we can use this moment to really reflect and
00:48:04.160 to ask ourselves, what went wrong? What did we miss? Where did we fall short? And I got to tell
00:48:09.860 you, I don't think many people in this audience have to ask themselves that question. And any of
00:48:14.420 the guys who are in the Republican Party that were actually fighting the good fight, they don't have
00:48:19.520 to ask themselves. These cowards in Washington did nothing because they were afraid of losing 0.93
00:48:24.240 the election. Meanwhile, we kept saying, if you do nothing, you will lose the election. 0.98
00:48:28.380 the thing is is the politicians don't care about you they don't it's all about slogans and power
00:48:37.100 they were not listening to you and and when they do listen they don't know how to respond
00:48:44.080 people were saying they were scared about prices going up they're they're scared about not being
00:48:50.140 able to afford a home about data centers about war immigration how we treat one another
00:48:56.280 at the bottom of almost all of those things is fear and sometimes it's justified sometimes it's
00:49:05.100 not but it was real and republicans did not speak to that fear they didn't none of them recognized
00:49:15.560 the red baron guy that lives on every street in america who is just out there slugging it out
00:49:24.260 every single day trying to get home
00:49:26.380 to his kids and make his
00:49:28.220 mortgage payment.
00:49:29.660 Who talked about that? You know who did?
00:49:32.220 El-Sayed. 0.96
00:49:34.580 And he doesn't mean it.
00:49:36.620 Tell me the one thing that's going
00:49:38.240 to make your gas price go down that 0.99
00:49:40.080 the Green New Deal people are going to do. 0.63
00:49:44.760 The other thing we were not 1.00
00:49:46.280 equipped to handle
00:49:48.260 was demoralization.
00:49:50.960 People feel like
00:49:52.120 what they do does not matter that they're not being seen and that they don't make a difference
00:49:58.380 they're convinced that dark outside forces control everything and that's why we're in a war
00:50:05.060 you know Pam Bondi why why didn't what Pam Bondi's biggest failure Epstein files and and everything 0.92
00:50:14.020 else people looked at that and went why isn't she acting she doesn't hear us she doesn't see us or 0.99
00:50:18.640 was she part of it? How come we have poison chemicals being sprayed on our food and we 0.61
00:50:24.520 can't seem to stop that? We know it's a problem. Well, it's Israel. It's big ag. It's the deep
00:50:31.100 state. It's Jeffrey Epstein. It's always someone else who is unaccountable. So it makes you feel
00:50:38.400 like there's nothing you can do. And that's the message so many on our side have been hearing
00:50:45.360 and they believe it why didn't you go out and vote yesterday because you don't think it makes
00:50:50.320 a difference or you wanted to teach people a lesson well they're not going to learn they're
00:50:55.240 not going to learn will we learn a lot of these things i blame my business for but i also blame
00:51:04.820 the politicians who promise and never deliver republicans had very few jobs they really did
00:51:13.700 Republicans did nothing.
00:51:16.760 They left it all up to Donald Trump
00:51:19.100 because they didn't want to be blamed for anything
00:51:22.200 because they thought they would lose an election.
00:51:24.740 Well, you just lost an election.
00:51:27.680 People were just asking you do something.
00:51:33.440 It's demoralizing to go out and vote for people
00:51:35.780 who don't ever keep their word.
00:51:37.800 And the Democrats are going to figure this out
00:51:39.840 because they're not going to lower your gas price.
00:51:44.880 They can't.
00:51:46.840 How are they going to lower the price of anything?
00:51:49.820 Their Marxist principles will do everything to raise the problem.
00:51:54.560 You know, Texas is in real trouble, real trouble.
00:51:57.800 You kill Texas if they put in Marxist and these kinds of policies
00:52:02.380 that they have in California and Texas.
00:52:04.040 Texas is always responsible for 30 to 50 percent of all jobs during a recovery.
00:52:11.160 You kill Texas, you've killed the heart of recovery for America.
00:52:18.040 Demoralized people don't vote. 0.99
00:52:20.880 Independence gave the R's a chance. 0.98
00:52:23.280 Now they've just given the D's a chance. 0.91
00:52:25.400 And the D's are going to fail on this too.
00:52:27.780 Because just like the Republican Party, we're not their focus. 0.69
00:52:31.700 You're not their focus.
00:52:33.700 Your vote is their focus.
00:52:37.380 We also didn't have a message of hope
00:52:39.300 that was strong enough to overpower the message of grievance.
00:52:45.060 Do we have a real, creative, modern answer
00:52:48.500 for the issues that matter to voters?
00:52:51.180 Return to the Constitution.
00:52:52.840 No, return to first principles.
00:52:56.880 First principles.
00:52:58.160 Now, how are we going to apply those first principles
00:53:00.600 in today's modern world?
00:53:03.740 We lost because we have a failure of imagination, of messaging, of creativity.
00:53:10.000 And most importantly, because of a lack of action.
00:53:17.000 The question is, is this the end of the story?
00:53:20.760 Over my dead body.
00:53:26.680 We can learn, we can get better, and we can go back and we can win next time.
00:53:32.880 because we still woke up this morning in the greatest country the world has ever seen.
00:53:40.160 Even today, with all of the problems that we have, literally today, and what we're facing,
00:53:46.320 I would rather be here with all of these problems than any other place on earth.
00:53:51.640 Tell me where you'd rather be.
00:53:54.080 Tell me.
00:53:55.740 And all of it is still worth fighting for.
00:53:59.420 Now, we can fight for those things.
00:54:01.460 we can fight for our children, we can fight for the people who voted differently for their
00:54:06.260 children, or we can fight them and rip each other apart. We can blame everyone except ourselves,
00:54:13.960 our own party, and thus learn absolutely nothing. And that will lead us right back here in two years.
00:54:22.860 I think one of my biggest prayers for America today is humility.
00:54:30.000 He's tried to wake us.
00:54:31.840 You've got to humble yourself and stop looking for answers outside of him.
00:54:39.600 You know, when your kid is on his first sports team
00:54:45.500 and experiences his first real loss, what do you want him to do?
00:54:49.780 you tell him to go back out in the field stand up tall you played your best did you play your best
00:54:56.540 son did you play with all your heart yes i did then go back out shake this off go shake the
00:55:04.820 hand of the other side guy and say good game i'm going to beat you next time
00:55:09.720 you want him to walk off the field with confidence because he did all that he could do
00:55:17.300 If he didn't, you then tell him, son, that's why you lost the game.
00:55:22.140 And even if you played with your whole heart, you might still lose it.
00:55:27.500 It's about how you play it.
00:55:30.200 You can walk off next time holding your head up high because you gave it your all.
00:55:35.500 And that's the only way we get ahead.
00:55:40.780 Next month, wake up early, every day.
00:55:43.860 Practice, practice, practice. 0.99
00:55:45.940 That's the kind of loser I want to be. 0.99
00:55:48.180 That's the kind of loser we must teach our kids today. 1.00
00:55:52.920 That's how you lose. 0.98
00:55:55.260 Because if you lose that way, you are a future winner.
00:56:03.060 Our kids are watching us right now, learning how to lose.
00:56:07.560 And we can take our ball and we can go home.
00:56:10.080 We can complain. 1.00
00:56:11.060 We can bitch. 0.93
00:56:11.740 We can say, I'm never going to do anything. 0.95
00:56:13.260 I'm never going to believe in anybody.
00:56:14.680 And that will be our legacy. Or we can be humble. And I am not saying kneel before a Democrat.
00:56:23.220 Our vision for America is far better than theirs. I think that many of the people
00:56:30.380 that were elected last night are a threat to the republic. And expect me to oppose almost
00:56:38.700 every move they try to make. I will not accept socialism in America. I will not accept Sharia
00:56:45.840 law. I will accept nothing less than the shining city on the hill built on the firm foundation of 1.00
00:56:54.560 some of the most amazing documents the world has ever seen. When I say kneel, I mean kneel before
00:57:02.740 your God. Accept his will, accept the loss, and then get ready to work your ass off because the
00:57:11.700 next game is coming. You know, I love watching, oh shoot, he's a friend of mine and all I can
00:57:19.900 think of is Tony Dungy, the coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, Andy Reid. I love watching Andy Reid.
00:57:27.460 I love watching him. 1.00
00:57:29.740 In the last couple of games, there have been some stupid moves. 1.00
00:57:34.540 And all he's done is rolled his eyes a little bit and shook his head. 1.00
00:57:37.580 You can't get an emotion out of that guy.
00:57:40.020 He's never either really angry or really happy.
00:57:44.620 He's playing the game.
00:57:46.400 He's keeping check of his emotions.
00:57:50.100 Because there is a next game.
00:57:51.780 And we need you on that playing field, playing that game the next time.
00:57:58.060 I saw multiple people say they wished that they had Rush Limbaugh to listen to today.
00:58:04.400 So do I.
00:58:12.280 He was the coach that kept saying, get back out there.
00:58:15.840 And he did it with joy every single time.
00:58:18.580 None of us are a good replacement for Rush Limbaugh
00:58:23.560 None of us
00:58:24.360 So let me play a little Rush Limbaugh
00:58:28.500 Because it applies to today
00:58:31.280 You know, people call here and now
00:58:33.540 Rush, you always told us
00:58:34.960 You told us, well, it's going to be time to panic
00:58:37.440 Well, is it time to panic?
00:58:39.300 Well, let me just tell you folks
00:58:40.380 It's never going to be time to panic
00:58:42.800 Because we're never going to give up
00:58:45.960 We're not going to give up on America
00:58:48.460 I'm not
00:58:50.720 I don't think most of you are either
00:58:52.780 and while we have that attitude
00:58:55.500 of not giving up
00:58:56.780 we are constantly going to be searching
00:58:59.060 strategizing
00:59:00.700 coming up with ways to prevail
00:59:02.740 we've got the basics
00:59:06.000 we have millions and millions
00:59:08.440 of Americans that are fed up
00:59:09.780 can't wait to do something about it
00:59:11.780 there will be a series of ideas
00:59:14.420 that people come up with
00:59:15.680 based on dealing with the fraud
00:59:19.680 that we know we have to deal with.
00:59:23.320 But America's worth it.
00:59:25.360 America is worth fighting for.
00:59:27.320 America's worth not giving up.
00:59:31.580 And that's why I think whatever form it takes,
00:59:38.580 we will continue to fight for
00:59:42.180 and to defend and to triumph.
00:59:44.640 the late, great Rush Limbaugh.
00:59:48.220 Take that to heart.
00:59:52.160 You know, one of my favorite quotes from Abraham Lincoln,
00:59:55.240 he was addressing Cooper's Union.
00:59:59.880 And he said, let us have faith in the right makes might.
01:00:05.940 In that faith, let us to the end,
01:00:09.940 dare to do our duty as we understand it.
01:00:13.160 Fight for the right as God gives us the understanding of right.
01:00:20.520 Put everything into that.
01:00:23.660 Right does make might.
01:00:27.320 Unrighteousness, arrogance does not.
01:00:30.880 It will lead to another humiliating loss.
01:00:34.440 But good wins in the end.
01:00:36.840 I know that to be true.
01:00:40.660 I just don't know when the end is.
01:00:43.820 I don't even know if I'll live to see the end.
01:00:47.120 I don't.
01:00:49.060 But I know it will happen.
01:00:53.540 Never give up.
01:00:55.960 Never give in.
01:01:00.480 The best things in your closet are usually the things you don't have to think about how they fit.
01:01:04.960 Am I right?
01:01:06.360 You know they fit.
01:01:07.380 You know they're comfortable.
01:01:08.680 You know they're going to hold up.
01:01:10.720 You know, so when you need something to wear, you reach for them automatically.
01:01:13.820 That's how I feel about American Giant, especially their hoodie.
01:01:16.900 I cannot keep my hoodies because every woman in my life, and ladies, I got lots of them. 1.00
01:01:23.920 No, my girls, they take my hoodies. 1.00
01:01:26.700 They love them. 1.00
01:01:28.540 And honestly, I kind of love it when my daughters are wearing my sweatshirts.
01:01:32.360 There's something about wearing dad's sweatshirt that makes dad happy because it's like I'm with you.
01:01:37.180 anyway their classic full zip hoodie it's one of those pieces of clothing that you know feels
01:01:45.500 like somebody actually spent time figuring out how to make it right it's substantial it's
01:01:49.480 comfortable it's built to keep its shape it literally is the sweatshirt that people used
01:01:55.100 to make in america in when i was a kid growing up in the 1960s and 70s then we sold all that
01:02:00.880 equipment to japan and then we lost that skill american giant bought those machines from japan
01:02:08.380 brought them back and taught americans how to make that sweatshirt again they also make t-shirts and
01:02:13.820 jeans and sweatpants and other clothing that have the same commitment to quality made here in america

01:03:10.720 the flag that we couldn't get lindsey graham out you finally did it i can keep the south carolina
01:03:18.560 a star on it was the democrats going to always vote in open primaries and then he dies he dies

01:03:50.760 not dealing with somebody wearing a mask all the time go ahead you've said for you've said for
01:03:55.440 years i've been you know i was a rush baby you kind of broke me up with that rush girl i was a
01:03:59.020 rush baby but glenn i'm honestly a glenn baby i've grown up listening to you my friend i've
01:04:02.440 gotten to meet you twice when you come here to south carolina and you've talked for years about
01:04:06.200 the mask coming off and i think the master coming off and we know the bible says in isaiah even in
01:04:12.800 darkest times. God's grace shines brighter. I think light is getting lighter and dark is getting
01:04:18.360 darker. And hey, give South Carolina six years, my friend. We take a while to do anything,
01:04:22.820 but we might finally get somebody in our office. That's good to talk to you, Jeff.
01:04:28.940 Thank you so much from South Carolina. I want to encourage you today to approach the day with
01:04:38.600 everyone you meet everyone you meet that you know is going to be down and angry and despair
01:04:44.160 don't don't approach your day i want you to walk into every room today with a big smile on your
01:04:50.380 face how many people i mean jason just said this to the insiders he was walking with despair and i
01:04:57.200 i came early so i could see everybody i'd be the first in today and i could see everybody and jason
01:05:03.000 was the second to walk in and i said he said hey and i said how you doing jason he said fine how
01:05:07.440 are you? And I said, I'm great. Be that person today. Be that person for somebody else. Don't
01:05:15.000 despair. God is on the throne. It all works out. We just have to do our part. And despair and anger

01:05:27.040 greatest mysteries of the holiday season is how the calendar manages to fill itself. I mean,
01:05:31.500 we start, you know, with very few plans in November, and then somebody invites you to dinner,
01:05:35.880 you know somebody else then needs help with something and then there's a school event and
01:05:40.180 a family gathering and then shopping and a trip you forgot you agreed to take and before long
01:05:44.080 you're up to your elbows in events and you're like wait it's not even thanksgiving yet
01:05:48.200 if frequent pain is a part of your life this is a good time to consider relief factor it's a daily

01:06:04.920 extra pain take some time to pay attention to what your body is saying take relief factor two

01:06:36.580 Maybe the real midterms were the friends we made along the way. Last night was tough,
01:06:40.680 but for today only, pick up your commemorative watch party t-shirt at glenbeckshop.com.
01:06:45.500 And remember, we'll always have Guam.
01:06:49.980 Nick Freitas is with us.
01:07:15.300 He's Blaze TV host of Making the Argument.
01:07:18.380 And I was on with him last night on the Blaze TV coverage.
01:07:21.500 I mean, you just, I'm so glad you're on Blaze.
01:07:25.400 You are so good.
01:07:26.720 I mean, I listened to all the people on the panel,
01:07:29.380 and there were really smart people on the panel.
01:07:31.080 And you were just spot on every single time.
01:07:33.500 I really appreciate all the stuff that you do and say
01:07:36.800 and the impact that you're making in the world.
01:07:38.560 Thank you.
01:07:39.200 I mean, it's truly honored to be at Blaze,
01:07:42.060 especially now being that I'm sure pretty soon here,
01:07:44.720 YouTube and Meta and everyone else is going to go right back
01:07:47.000 to throttling all the conservatives.
01:07:48.380 Oh, yeah.
01:07:48.860 And so you're going to have to find a place to actually see us talk about these things.
01:07:52.060 So it's it's we're living in really unusual times.
01:07:55.600 And, you know, talking about throttle, I think there's one guy who and I think I said this last night.
01:08:02.300 I think we brought up Elon Musk and and there's one guy that has the money, the capability and the mindset to actually fight this and to help voices remain.
01:08:14.240 And even he was tweeting, well, there's always space.
01:08:18.120 Yeah, exactly what I said.
01:08:19.460 I said last night, Elon Musk might be the guy.
01:08:22.320 Remember the contact, that movie contact where the weirdo, you know, billionaire lives up in space.
01:08:28.480 He's dying.
01:08:28.960 That might be Elon Musk. 0.99
01:08:31.260 You know that it's either that or I think India.
01:08:33.840 He's not going to China, but there was something Scott Galloway called Elon Musk.
01:08:39.780 the traitor to the west invokes the execution of the rosenbergs and said we line the rosenbergs
01:08:48.240 up against a wall this is a traitor to the west and he should be held to the same standard every
01:08:53.440 other traitor of the west people applauded for that oh this is scott galloway this is not hassan
01:09:00.620 piker that we expect this from scott galloway is the person that the left pushes out there as oh
01:09:05.040 this is the response to masculinity liberal masculinity this is the guy that's reasonable
01:09:09.760 and can sit down and have a conversation with conservatives this is the part that people need
01:09:14.260 to understand i don't care how they market themselves the moment they get an opportunity
01:09:18.640 to actually say what they really believe that's what they really believe i've said this for since
01:09:23.500 2006 or eight they are dying to tell you who they are they just have to hide behind the mask
01:09:31.280 i said back then but at one point the mask is going to come off because they want to tell you
01:09:36.340 yeah they're dying to tell you because they firmly believe it but go ahead and play this
01:09:40.540 clip because it is shocking we have begun believing through this ridiculous unhealthy
01:09:48.080 and dangerous idolatry of innovators that they get to live by an entirely different standard
01:09:52.720 elon musk is a traitor to the west we lined up the rosenbergs against a wall
01:09:59.120 this is a traitor to the west and he should be held to the same standards as every other 0.98
01:10:06.380 traitor in the west with cheers not just applause cheers elon musk has made the world 0.69
01:10:14.380 for poor people rich people midi medium income people a much better place you want to talk about
01:10:24.040 making the world a better place give communication to africa the things that he has done
01:10:32.160 is remarkable how does he fit into the traitor of the west oh because he's a traitor to leftism
01:10:38.500 that that's all this is he's a traitor to leftism this is this is critical theory this is third
01:10:43.240 worldism this is oppressor versus oppressed and elon musk is now in the oppressor category
01:10:48.140 because he doesn't vote the way they want this is the same thing that we saw again
01:10:51.760 moderate reasonable james carville what is he this is the guy that supposedly doesn't like
01:10:57.160 a son piker in the dsa and yet the dsa's chosen candidate abdul sayed wins in michigan and you
01:11:02.780 have a you have an old school kind of union democrat candidate that says i can't support
01:11:07.640 this guy and james carville conveys her to a used condom that's because again put the marketing
01:11:13.940 aside if you actually look at not just what they say look at what they teach our kids look at what
01:11:19.340 democrat-controlled institutions teach your kids from elementary school through all through
01:11:24.300 university we are evil buckley was talking about this they don't see us as fellow americans with
01:11:30.700 a different viewpoint with respect to tax policy so hang on let me interrupt you because i i have
01:11:37.320 a lot of people because i try to say look they have a difference of opinion but there is a difference
01:11:42.720 of opinion crossing over into an evil category when you start talking about that kind of stuff
01:11:48.960 that you're going to round people up you're going to re-educate that is evil so how do you balance
01:11:54.800 that feeling of hassan piker is now a voice of power in that group and that's not evil how do
01:12:05.840 you separate the evil from the from the just the mistaken people how do you do it at the end of the
01:12:11.320 i'm a christian so at the end of the day i i never have any ill will toward an individual person made
01:12:17.860 in the image of god right but evil can work through people yes and the thing that we need
01:12:23.000 to understand is that the the same the same book in scripture the same book in romans that tells
01:12:27.540 you to you know bless those who curse you and to love your enemies also tells you to abhor evil
01:12:32.360 and the problem that we have is that for too long we thought our job as conservatives was just to
01:12:36.940 nice everyone over to our way of thinking yeah what a mistake and now we have a bunch of people
01:12:41.140 that again hate us on a very very visceral fundamental level because again from the time
01:12:45.360 they were little they were told that what we believed was evil it was bigoted i saw this in
01:12:49.300 the general assembly i spent years in the general general assembly in virginia saying we're not
01:12:53.740 enemies we you know we we all want our people our constituents to be happy healthy prosperous and
01:12:58.340 free we just have different ways on how to get there that's not true anymore yeah to the extent
01:13:03.140 that it's not being true i i don't know but it's not true anymore and i could tell not just when
01:13:08.540 charlie was murdered i could tell when the way they reacted to it yes like they couldn't hide
01:13:13.560 their giddiness yes and so at some point you need to recognize that as much as i don't want that
01:13:18.800 person to believe that way my end goal is not to defeat or crush another you can't it'll never end
01:13:25.400 well i want them to come around to look i want them to become christians i want them to come
01:13:28.940 around to a certain way of thinking but by the same token i am not commanded to be destroyed
01:13:34.220 in pursuit of niceness and and to the extent that scott galloway and james carville the moderate
01:13:42.400 reasonable people within the democratic party or the leftist movement and the fact that they're 0.82
01:13:47.400 willing to again explain how elon musk apparently deserves to be lined up against a wall and shot
01:13:53.220 because he's an enemy to the west on on what reasoning and the answer is it doesn't matter
01:13:59.100 the reasoning we're the oppressors they're the oppressed and that's it do you think he goes
01:14:03.680 further than this with some then he just doesn't go along with it he that you must dismantle the
01:14:10.460 engine of the west and there is no one building a stronger engine for the west than elon musk yes
01:14:17.720 no no it's it's it's 100 true musk is also one of these guys where he's this example of what
01:14:23.660 american meritocracy used to represent and it was the idea that you can come from somewhere else now
01:14:29.040 if you come from somewhere else you still have to embrace what it means to be an american that's
01:14:32.420 what assimilation is but to the extent that you're willing to do that we will provide fertile soil
01:14:37.460 for you to be able to build something that is uniquely yours and elon musk personifies this
01:14:43.220 and he's created it for so many other people they all loved him 57 seconds ago when he was making
01:14:48.200 all the electric vehicles i got i got a question for scott galloway mr i want to lecture everyone
01:14:52.860 on defending the west scott galloway who believes that we need to send even more money and everything
01:14:57.020 to support to ukraine why don't you ask vladimir zelinski what would he rather have scott galloway
01:15:01.600 pontificating about the west or starlink what would he rather have subsequently we all know
01:15:07.920 the answer to that question and yet it doesn't matter because he's not a traitor to the west
01:15:12.920 they look at him as a traitor to leftist ideology because they used to think he was on their side
01:15:17.040 give me some bright spots from from last night they're hard to find if you're looking at people
01:15:21.960 yeah almost impossible to find i think the the biggest thing that i learned when you look at
01:15:26.340 the ballot measures in a lot of places so if you look at what happened ohio in north carolina in
01:15:31.460 kansas and iowa and a lot of these states they voted straight democrat republicans showed up
01:15:37.260 and voted for a democrat politician but then went right over to the ballot measure and voted for
01:15:42.720 voter id voted for u.s citizenship as a requirement to actually vote voted to reduce taxes in place i
01:15:48.780 think it was washington state they voted to actually protect women's sports so so what did
01:15:53.620 we see we saw people show up and said i'm going to vote for republican principles but i'm going
01:15:58.000 to vote against the republicans that failed to actually produce them yes so i i don't think it
01:16:03.460 it's i don't think it's over our overall philosophy that lost last night i think what it was was weak
01:16:08.700 feckless republican leaders that failed to deliver on their promises and what a lot of people said
01:16:13.600 regardless of whether we like it or think it's a good strategy what they said was i would rather
01:16:17.140 burn the country to the ground than vote for one more republican that lies to me as a former
01:16:23.020 green beret guy or i guess once a green beret always a green beret um what are you expecting
01:16:28.500 to happen with iran now i think trump has until these guys are sworn in what's he gonna do he's
01:16:37.920 got very limited time to act this is one of the things that whenever you look at military strategy
01:16:41.880 especially from the united states you can't just look at our military versus theirs or the threats
01:16:45.680 that are presented you have to also look at the electorate because if the electorate doesn't
01:16:49.640 believe a war is worth fighting or winning then it isn't it doesn't matter how strong you are
01:16:53.740 and so to the extent that we have to extricate ourselves from us because we will the democrats
01:16:57.980 will cut off funding yes they will so you you have to send as strong a message as you possibly can
01:17:03.060 and then how do we do that that is a that is a great question um how do we let me ask you this
01:17:11.480 because that may be an impossible question how do we get out of this without sending the wrong
01:17:16.780 message to all of the wrong people that america is unwilling to fight evil most people already
01:17:24.520 have that message yeah because when you when you look at the withdrawal from places like
01:17:28.380 afghanistan which again if we want to go back and relitigate this and say we shouldn't have
01:17:32.000 gone in i'm happy to have that conversation but to the extent that people watched how we left
01:17:36.880 yeah when i was going through the special forces qualification course this was in 2003
01:17:40.960 we have an unconventional warfare exercise that we go through and one of the biggest things that
01:17:45.560 they do is they put you into these teams where you're meeting with what we call g chiefs this 0.71
01:17:48.700 is your guerrilla force that you're going to be operating with because green berets always operate 1.00
01:17:52.380 by through and with the local indigenous population one of the biggest things they put into all of our
01:17:57.260 training exercises is we meet with the we meet with the tribe the leader that we're going to be
01:18:01.400 operating with and the first thing out of their mouth is you'll be gone in two years you'll be
01:18:05.500 gone as soon as it doesn't suit you you'll be gone why should we trust you why because there's a
01:18:09.580 pattern there and this is the part that we need to understand i think people would have respected
01:18:14.020 if donald trump had come in and said we can't let him get a nuclear weapon so we're going to have to
01:18:17.980 bomb him and so you can actually do something about the regime and i mean really do something
01:18:21.740 about a regime that does not include u.s ground forces yeah they have to decide they want something
01:18:26.660 different in iran but can they do that without somebody providing arms to the population well
01:18:33.780 here's the way i look at it when the french helped the united states in our revolution right they
01:18:38.220 didn't send over massive armies and fight the entire war for us there was already there was
01:18:43.320 already a nucleus there was already a group in the united states the continental army the
01:18:48.520 continental congress yeah there was an infrastructure that you could actually
01:18:51.520 support into and that you could do they have assistance to it not one yet i think that one
01:18:57.040 started to develop with respect to the riots and the and the irgc essentially put it down through
01:19:01.840 brutality and murder yeah um but i i think again if you if you want that sort of long-term 0.72
01:19:07.280 if you want that sort of long-term objective and i do i want the ayatollah gone but i don't think 0.88
01:19:11.300 the u.s can just do it for them i think it's going to have to be a combination of having a much more
01:19:15.480 long strategic strategy which actually includes the gulf states which actually includes other
01:19:19.840 actors in the region and it's going to have to be something where you set up and uh you're gonna
01:19:24.940 have to set up an insurgent force that is there's a lot that can operate but if it's not an organic
01:19:29.340 solution to that problem then we just have to worry about our own national security interests
01:19:33.020 i've got 60 seconds i i issued a warning um recently i said war and it may not look like
01:19:39.060 war as we understand it but war in europe collapse financial problems in europe are are coming all
01:19:46.720 over the world and it it's very likely to spread here and people should prepare to to live in a
01:19:56.180 very different world do you agree with that or not seeing what you're seeing in europe how precarious
01:20:02.340 is that i i don't know that europe can vote their way out of the problem anymore yeah because half
01:20:06.660 of the you you have a massive welfare state problem problem over there you have the red
01:20:10.380 green alliance which is you have the left that is merged with a large immigrant population which 0.51
01:20:14.420 is largely islamic and has objectives to change europe into something it was never it never was 0.60
01:20:18.800 before and so yeah you're going to have to prepare for that now here's the good news if you adequately 1.00
01:20:23.420 prepare for that kind of scenario you may be able to prevent it from actually taking hold
01:20:27.720 but if you act like you can just get through all this by just doing all the the normie things that
01:20:32.660 we've always done i'm sorry you don't know what time it is that's that's the point i've been
01:20:37.440 trying to make that the time to bury your head in this because i've known people who was like i
01:20:42.040 can't watch all this negative stuff no no i understand that i do understand that that time
01:20:47.300 is over we're in a different era now no we are i think the good news in the united states is while
01:20:54.060 we're not insulated from it we're not as far down the road as europe is and we can make different
01:20:58.520 decisions trump had great successes with respect to immigration um which which we need to double
01:21:03.660 down on but the other thing that i think needs to be understood is that so much of what we need to
01:21:08.560 do to fix the country is actually within the power of individuals families um i i i joke about this
01:21:14.620 but i'm also very serious at the end voting is a numbers game and the left the left is erasing
01:21:21.240 themselves through abortion through chemical castration through not choosing to have kids
01:21:26.080 that's why they have to import a population or educate our kids for us if you just had more 0.70
01:21:32.360 conservative families more christian families more churches taking it seriously that we're not going
01:21:36.760 to require anybody in our congregation our parish to force their kids into a government-run school
01:21:42.140 system which will teach the values right out of them if we can provide an alternative we're going
01:21:46.140 to make that decision yeah you could build a nucleus around that where you could take back
01:21:50.460 this country so between federalism and i think the church actually being awakened to this country
01:21:54.600 we could win but we have to choose to do it it's great to have you great to have you thank you

01:24:08.380 Here's something I want you to hear.
01:24:10.020 It's Medicare open enrollment.
01:24:11.840 Yay!
01:24:12.620 The only time of year where you can make changes
01:24:14.480 to your Medicare plan.
01:24:16.120 But I have some bad news.
01:24:17.180 I've just been looking at some research,
01:24:18.580 and this is amazing.
01:24:19.540 It shows that only one in 10 Americans
01:24:21.140 are on the right plan for their needs.
01:24:22.960 And it's worse than that.
01:24:23.880 The average person was overspending more than $1,000 a year, and one in 10 are spending $2,000 more than necessary, and they have no idea.
01:24:33.800 This could be you.
01:24:35.100 The system is so confusing, it's easy to pay too much and never know it.
01:24:38.560 But right now, Medicare open enrollment, the one window every year where you can fix it.
01:24:43.960 That's why I want you to fix it now with Chapter, the only Medicare advisors that I trust.
01:24:48.140 So dial pound 250 and say the keyword Chapter.
01:24:50.860 A couple from my audience, Tamara and Dean, they called chapter.
01:24:54.400 They're saving almost $3,000 this year.
01:24:57.120 The call is free.
01:24:58.000 It takes 20 minutes, maybe.
01:24:59.880 Dial pound 250.
01:25:00.780 Say the keyword chapter.
01:25:01.900 Act now before you're left overpaying or on the wrong coverage for another year.
01:25:06.660 Pound 250, chapter.
01:25:08.040 do not be down today you can you can mourn you can say wow that was really bad night yes
01:25:25.900 yeah that is normal but do not be down this is going to you know if the republicans do all that
01:25:34.120 they can do to learn from this, God will handle the rest. And the left is going to overplay their
01:25:41.200 hand. They're already talking about it. By the way, Mike Johnson said he's not going to throw
01:25:45.600 his hat into the ring for a minority leader. Steve Dace and Liz Wheeler, join me next.
01:25:52.180 Hey, here's some really good news.
01:26:04.600 Over 50,000 babies have been saved this year.
01:26:07.780 More than 8,000 commitments to Christ through Preborn this year alone.

01:26:14.000 Here's Dan Steiner.

01:27:18.260 The fusion of entertainment, enlightenment,
01:27:47.700 and empowerment this is the Glenn Beck program
01:27:55.060 welcome to the Glenn Beck program well it was an interesting night last night
01:28:02.620 uh you know one of the more interesting night who would have seen if you had on your bingo card 0.98
01:28:07.920 communist and Islamist takeover of America I wouldn't have been I wouldn't have had my 0.99
01:28:14.140 plotter out for that one but we're heading that direction but there is some good news uh and more 0.95
01:28:20.360 than just they're going to overplay their hand they are so drunk on power today they are going
01:28:25.240 to overplay their hand and they're going to end up exactly like the republicans in two years
01:28:29.480 because they're not going to reduce your gas price they're not going to reduce your housing
01:28:35.140 they can't they have no plans for that and they're going to focus on teaching everyone a lesson
01:28:40.120 that I think they're going to let an opportunity slip right through their fingers.
01:28:44.220 They're almost going to be Republicans in that way.
01:28:47.820 They're just going to be like, well, shot yourself in the foot on that one.
01:28:51.700 At least that's the way I view it today.
01:28:53.560 Let's see what actually happens.
01:28:55.600 Who knows?
01:28:56.620 Maybe they have some really glorious ideas that we can all get behind.
01:29:01.580 Steve Dace is here.
01:29:02.960 We're going to talk to him.
01:29:03.900 He's also in a good mood.
01:29:05.760 None of us should be in a good mood, but we are,
01:29:08.940 because there are some good things that happened.
01:29:12.520 Don't get me wrong.
01:29:13.740 It was a horrible night.
01:29:16.000 But there were some good things that are on the horizon that happened as well
01:29:22.120 that tell you the real story, and Steve's going to get into that in 60 seconds.
01:29:26.260 First, why do so many people wait until something bad happens
01:29:29.460 before they will do something about it?
01:29:31.660 I mean, you wouldn't wait until your house caught fire to buy a smoke detector.
01:29:35.460 You wouldn't wait until you were standing on the side of the highway with a flat tire to find out whether your car came with a spare tire.
01:29:44.820 Actually, one of my kids just did that, so I'm going to leave that one out.
01:29:47.900 Anyway, when it comes to protecting homes, people can be remarkably optimistic.
01:29:53.680 Optimism is wonderful, but it's not a security system, and that's why I like SimpliSafe.
01:29:58.100 And by the way, if you think things are going to get safer on the streets, good luck with that one.
01:30:04.580 Home security systems, you need one.
01:30:06.440 One with cameras and sensors and professional monitoring options
01:30:09.240 designed to help you know what's happening around your property
01:30:12.200 and to respond to something before they break into your house.
01:30:16.200 You can customize the system to fit your house,
01:30:18.360 whether you live in a small apartment or a big house
01:30:20.280 with more doors and windows that you can keep track of.
01:30:22.660 SimpliSafe is offering their biggest deal of the year,
01:30:25.060 70% off their new system with professionally monitoring.
01:30:28.640 I've never seen that before, probably not see it again.
01:30:31.400 they're practically throwing it at you just sign up they'll give it to you practically for free 70
01:30:36.820 off simplisafe.com slash beck simplisafe.com slash beck order now simplisafe ahead of crime in real
01:30:45.580 time steve did not expect to see you in a good mood today i am uh i'm more energetic than i was
01:30:53.360 yesterday because we have clarity yeah and and before we get into what happened you know i i
01:30:58.660 want to just say, if you give me a second, something to our audiences. You know, I'm not
01:31:02.700 wearing black today for a funeral. I'm wearing it because it's time
01:31:06.700 to raise the black flag. To quote Andrew Breitbart, war.
01:31:11.360 And that's the clarity that we got last night. We are
01:31:14.420 a culture deeply at war within itself and 0.93
01:31:18.260 two different cultures warring among themselves. And
01:31:22.500 there are some things we're going to discuss tonight or this morning politically we can't fix
01:31:26.660 and address. The Republican party has to fix it. The president has to decide he's willing to fix 0.97
01:31:31.000 it. But I want to address, if I could, just for a couple of minutes, here's what we can do,
01:31:34.940 right? Here's what, here's your call to action this morning after what you just heard.
01:31:38.560 It's not to whine. It's not to lament. It's not to get another anonymous screen name online.
01:31:43.620 Okay. Uh, it's not to check out. It's not to quit. All right. Um, your job now is to America
01:31:49.440 even harder. Number one, you will go to church Sunday harder. Amen. All right. You will listen
01:31:54.660 to the sermon harder. And if they're not giving you the right sermon, they're not preaching stuff
01:32:00.880 that is actually biblical. Get the hell out of that church and go find another one. If you're
01:32:05.200 the pastor, you'll preach harder. You'll repent harder. You'll pray harder. You'll love your
01:32:09.920 spouse harder. Here's how we go to war. This is how we do it here. You'll love your children harder.
01:32:14.780 You will work harder. If you're an activist, you will activate harder. You will tailgate this
01:32:21.380 weekend harder all right you will christmas harder you will thanksgiving harder you will
01:32:27.560 america even harder that's how we fight back we don't roll over all right we are the people of
01:32:33.100 the stone was rolled away we don't roll over we don't black pill it's never it's never over all
01:32:39.440 right it's never over if you're a christian it's never over right so what you received last night
01:32:44.560 was clarity now often clarity sucks but it can be energizing mobilizing clarifying and we received
01:32:52.240 that last night and now we have that we can only control what we can control and what we can
01:32:57.960 control is caring and sharing our traditions and heritage and legacies as americans even harder
01:33:04.720 so it's what does charlie once said to me before he got murdered whispered in my ear one day and
01:33:09.540 said go hard so what i'm saying to you in a not whisper and on this microphone is your job now
01:33:15.340 after what happened last night is whatever you're doing as an american is to go harder
01:33:20.280 i did not expect this steve days to show up today i am so happy i am so happy that's exactly
01:33:29.120 right it's exactly right i got up this morning more committed to all of the things that i have
01:33:36.440 done more committed to uh preserving history rescuing the christians uh feeding the homeless
01:33:46.420 um preaching on standing with god all of those things i woke up this morning and it was
01:33:53.100 shake awake i had the same thing i could not get to sleep last night yeah and i finally i think i
01:34:00.520 rolled over listening to a jack hibbs sermon online not to that's not a criticism of my one
01:34:05.060 of my good friends that is preaching put you to sleep but it gave me peace yeah and i think i fell
01:34:09.100 asleep sometime about 145 last night was last time i looked at my watch 6 30 this morning i i just
01:34:14.520 woke up and i just felt like the holy spirit said uh why are you asleep dude wake up what are you
01:34:18.580 doing there's work to be done get up i i i in my prayers uh last night in this morning and this is
01:34:24.220 why i feel because i i felt it last night and when i got up it was the first thing that came to me
01:34:30.040 was shake and awake i can god i can no longer shake you people awake it's time for you to wake
01:34:40.420 up and get out of bed and do what you're supposed to do i can't save you if you keep going back to
01:34:47.720 sleep i think it's i think it is the right message the right thing to learn now they did not people
01:34:55.260 did not switch to democrats i'm seeing exit polls that show they don't like socialism yet they were
01:35:02.920 voting for socialists this is this is the most clarifying midterm election maybe in all of
01:35:09.280 american history because you we saw a tectonic shift in terms of partisan results but not in
01:35:17.380 terms it didn't accompany a political philosophy last night we had a watergate level election in
01:35:23.360 terms of the breadth and depth of the midterm and even bigger if you look at the numbers but that
01:35:28.460 but that wasn't the message was more 1994 if you go back to 1994 bill clinton and al gore remember
01:35:34.900 uh new democrats southern white democrats yes al gore was still pro-life in 1992 yes and they
01:35:40.860 and they bill clinton was small government and tough on the border sister soldier the the racial
01:35:46.080 element in their party remember that yeah and they promised that they were going to be new
01:35:49.500 democrats what happened when they took over they raised taxes they did the stimulus bill i'm doing
01:35:53.180 to this is your life of your career you remember these shows right and i grew up listening to you
01:35:56.900 talk about these shows what was going on at that time and then they and then they tried to do
01:36:00.420 socialism versus hillary care what happened next is they got absolutely annihilated as a party
01:36:05.740 because they they ran on they did the opposite of what they ran on we promised people populism
01:36:11.640 we promised people that and and we we we're not going to blame this on the president or blame
01:36:16.620 this on republicans in congress we're all on the same team here yeah all right some of us have a
01:36:20.600 larger role to play on that team than others like the Congress and the president do. But we're all
01:36:24.440 wearing the same jersey, are we not? So we win as a team. Those guys can't win if we don't vote for
01:36:28.780 them, right, in 2024? Which means we don't put it all on them. That's why we lost. We win as a team.
01:36:33.540 We lost as a team. Here's what we promised the American people. We would take, there would be
01:36:38.160 accountability in government. Crooks would be rounded up. People that used lawfare to persecute
01:36:42.480 people. Epstein clients would be arrested. None of that occurred. None of it happened. We promised
01:36:48.040 people that we would reduce debt and government inefficiency in order to lower lower inflation
01:36:53.300 in the spending that's happened since covid doge lasted for six months the fire got too hot and
01:36:58.120 instead we had a fight over ballrooms and the kennedy center's name for two years instead we 0.99
01:37:02.580 promised people no more stupid foreign wars and then we launched like the dumbest one of all of 1.00
01:37:07.620 them that there's no end to and made the affordability crisis worse than it already was 0.99
01:37:12.360 so that now we cannot pivot to the democrats and say give us more time to fix the problems
01:37:16.640 that they started because we were making the problems they started worse we did the opposite
01:37:21.680 of the on the key issues that mattered and this is what i just read the vice president literally
01:37:25.980 channeled almost verbatim what i said on the airwaves on blaze tv last night what happened is
01:37:31.200 we need to come to grips with this it wasn't just casuals that the casual trump voters still voted
01:37:36.620 his way they love the act we lost republicans last night a significant when i looked at the
01:37:42.540 voting data in your home state of texas i texted out to to tyler our ceo here i'm gonna say uh
01:37:48.980 based on what i'm seeing the turnout in these red areas paxton plus two or three um and and i i think
01:37:55.040 that because we came out was going to win by six or seven came out our people did come out a good
01:37:59.920 chunk of them voted for the other guys and here's how you know this in my home state of iowa we we
01:38:05.700 voted to make it impossible to raise income taxes by a larger by popular vote by a larger margin
01:38:12.220 than Rob Sand became the Democratic governor statewide.
01:38:15.340 By a larger margin, who promised to raise taxes,
01:38:19.620 he won by less of a margin than the amendment
01:38:21.700 that would stop him from doing it.
01:38:24.400 Washington state too, right? 1.00
01:38:25.800 Washington state banned the trannies. 1.00
01:38:28.440 In Kansas, they said, hey, we're going to elect 1.00
01:38:30.480 a Democratic senator for the first time
01:38:32.340 since the FDR election of 1932,
01:38:35.080 and then turned around and passed the SAVE Act
01:38:37.280 as a statewide piece of legislation.
01:38:39.240 The country did not move to the left.
01:38:41.040 And I think, you know, I know most of us probably here on this network, speaking for maybe you and me for sure, are not fans of what's become of former friends like Tucker and Kansas and Marjorie Taylor Greene.
01:38:52.520 But we have to acknowledge why they have the audiences they do. 1.00
01:38:55.940 Maybe their solutions are retarded and suck. 1.00
01:38:58.440 Maybe we should have more of a solution than let's do podcasting for Muslims to sell nicotine pouches. 1.00
01:39:04.880 Maybe we should have a higher mission than that. 1.00
01:39:06.640 All right.
01:39:06.860 But we have to acknowledge why they're getting the audiences they got.
01:39:10.700 because the complaints are legitimate.
01:39:12.880 We did not do what was promised,
01:39:15.260 that we promised the people we would do
01:39:16.920 and we paid the price for it.
01:39:18.720 And it's almost like the American people
01:39:20.420 gave themselves insurance.
01:39:22.060 Like, you know what? 0.99
01:39:22.780 We kind of know these people are crazy.
01:39:24.260 That's why we're going to pass voter ID in Kansas. 0.91
01:39:26.120 And that's what we're going to say.
01:39:26.980 You can't raise our taxes in Iowa.
01:39:29.200 It was almost like they said,
01:39:30.860 they almost knew what the cost of this message
01:39:33.180 was going to be that they were sending.
01:39:35.020 And they were very eager to send it.
01:39:37.240 That they kind of like gave themselves
01:39:38.920 an insurance policy by the way they voted on a lot of these ballot initiatives around the country
01:39:42.880 at the same time all right i want to take a quick break and i want to come back about florida
01:39:46.440 because florida was a different island you know i mean it was closer than i thought it would be
01:39:52.800 um but i think it was a different um um uh island if you will because of desantis and desantis did
01:40:01.480 not really help the GOP. And looking at it now, he might have been absolutely brilliant by stepping
01:40:12.140 out of it. I'd love to hear your opinion on this in just a second. First, let me tell you about
01:40:17.120 good ranchers. There's a certain kind of panic that sets in when you realize holidays are coming
01:40:21.140 and you're going to have to feed lots of people. Lots of people. People who apparently haven't

01:41:32.280 You know, Schumer is on
01:41:34.320 TV live right now saying
01:41:35.820 election results are in. Oh,
01:41:38.260 what a night. Relief is on the way.
01:41:40.760 These guys are going to
01:41:42.220 overplay their hand. They promised
01:41:44.220 all of the same stuff that we
01:41:46.280 promised and they're going to focus on putting people on in jail and they're talking again about
01:41:52.760 impeachment etc etc and the people want relief they want relief that clip right there have your
01:42:02.140 team make sure they bookmark that yeah because two years from now that is the kind of thing again
01:42:08.020 just like a no new taxes or no more stupid foreign wars yeah when they do all the stuff that we know 0.96
01:42:12.660 they're going to do that's the albatross you'll hang around their neck two years from now you 0.98
01:42:16.880 guys promised us relief is on the way that's not what we got at all here so what is the lesson that
01:42:21.440 you think the republicans can actually learn and are we going to have to go outside to somebody
01:42:26.580 like desantis who has never really been part of this mega thing he's always been kind of distant
01:42:32.840 even though his policies are the most are like are the hyper ultra hyper mega yeah okay um and he is
01:42:39.140 the guy you know abbott if he would have been more like desantis abbott would still be in i agree but
01:42:45.200 he wasn't he wasn't he was weak i saw my friend don huffine statement that he came out and made
01:42:49.540 on the stage last night when he lost the comptroller race if you've not seen that i haven't
01:42:53.160 he basically said listen 12 years you're running on stuff you should have done 12 years ago like
01:42:57.880 reduce property taxes yes you didn't accomplish anything yes they set the stage for all of this
01:43:02.840 they just did managerialism yes and i texted don this morning i said you should run for governor
01:43:06.660 of Texas in four years on that very message is what you ought to do managerialism that's what
01:43:11.740 I talked about yesterday we do not live in an era where you things can be managed you have to
01:43:20.240 disrupt you have to have visionaries that know how that is the secret of Donald Trump he's a
01:43:26.880 visionary that's the secret of Elon Musk everybody else is still trying to make a rocket just go up
01:43:31.760 in space, he's like, I'm going to catch it. You have to have the visionaries. Do we have visionaries
01:43:36.960 in the Republican party? And what is the message they're going to take from last night? Number
01:43:41.380 one, our credibility as a party is broken. And so before any other questions about people are
01:43:47.460 answered, we have to rebuild a bond of credibility. Who's going to do that? It has to be the president
01:43:51.860 because he is still the leader of the party. He has an ample opportunity to do that because he
01:43:55.660 is going to be the one that stands athwart all the craziness the Democrats are going to throw
01:43:59.020 at his way and and i don't want the president to come out this morning and do a the era big
01:44:04.100 government is over like clinton did in 94 or a jimmy swagger i have sinned against you don't
01:44:08.960 that's not his mo anyway not to mention the worst thing we could do is send the iranians a message
01:44:13.680 that we're weakened after what over the last six months yep but what he so forget about what he
01:44:18.800 says what he does though has to be different all right he's got to get the eye of the tiger back
01:44:23.400 all right this is rocky three man and and and president trump has been working out at gold's
01:44:28.020 gym and taking photogs and telling you gases. It doesn't matter what the price of gas is and
01:44:32.340 affordability is not the real thing. And Clubber Lang's down in the basement, man, doing chin-ups
01:44:36.800 on pipes. He's got the eye of the tiger, all right? Trump's got to go back to the streets, man. He's
01:44:41.200 got to get the eye of the tiger back, all right? Stop listening to your fake consultants with their
01:44:45.580 stupid Tony Soprano posts and their cigars smoking it. These are the guys that were water 1.00
01:44:50.040 boys in high school that now think they're all Twitter tough guys. Stop listening to all those
01:44:54.020 people, right? You got a whole different batch of consultants. You got like an adult like Susie
01:44:57.900 Wiles after what happened in 2020, right? And you saw him recreate himself. You need to recreate
01:45:02.580 yourself. Listen to the people. The people have said to the president, you're not the wave. We
01:45:07.480 are. You're the board. You forgot that. You thought we rode you. No, you're riding us. That's the
01:45:13.240 message that was sent. And he needs to get that eye of the tiger back. If he does that, he'll be
01:45:18.300 king again and he'll pick his successor again. And we'll be able and say six to eight months
01:45:23.840 to be on a unified message as a party and a movement again if he doesn't do that though
01:45:28.680 and if he does the things that a lot of presidents in their second terms after they lose stuff like
01:45:32.640 this like reagan let me hire howard baker and don reagan jr and lose my administration if he does
01:45:37.920 which typically happened then this is going to be a long laborious civil war on our side he's going
01:45:42.620 to i don't think he is not a quitter the keys are in the king are in the king's hands what he
01:45:47.780 decides what happens next so what is but the republicans the ones on capitol hill the ones
01:45:53.600 who said we don't want to pass anything because we'll lose the election just lost the election
01:45:58.200 in epic fashion because they didn't pass anything they didn't do anything you can't make the case
01:46:03.560 that susan caught that they were too extreme it was all maga nonsense because susan collins every
01:46:10.380 vestige of republican loss tonight that's why i'm saying everybody that's why i'm saying our
01:46:14.240 credibility as a party is broken right now it has to be re-established and the guy with the
01:46:18.980 biggest microphone to re-establish it is the president we can't get out ahead of him all
01:46:23.220 Right. Because his bully pulpit outweighs everything else we have.
01:46:25.920 So he's got to have and he's done this before.
01:46:28.880 All right. I mean, you're talking about a guy who literally got shot in the face and had to reevaluate some things.
01:46:33.160 Yeah. You're talking about a guy who has been bankrupt four times, who's been excommunicated from Hollywood multiple times.
01:46:38.900 He is a reinveter.
01:46:40.020 Who's had to overcome. I'll never forget.
01:46:41.660 Maybe the greatest description of Donald Trump I've ever heard is Donald Trump succeeds by sheer guile that he refuses to quit in the face of things that would make other men lay down.
01:46:51.080 this is this is that this is maybe the biggest challenge he's had yet and he's doing it at 80
01:46:56.060 years old all right and so is there does is there enough of that humility in there where that not
01:47:02.220 not the humility of i have sinned against you but a self-awareness humility like all right people
01:47:06.420 don't want that product sell them the one they want all right is he willing to do that that's
01:47:10.460 going to determine what happens next he's usually good at that and i think he i think he by the end
01:47:15.900 of touring the country i think he started to get that that's our that's our most immediate path
01:47:22.580 if that because then we're back to kind of where we were before really if provided samuel alito
01:47:29.040 and clarence thomas are healthy and pray for that by the way for that nothing really changes
01:47:33.160 politically they were not going to pass anything anyway it's trump by executive order and then
01:47:37.660 versus the courts and that doesn't change provided the supreme court those two justices are okay
01:47:42.720 right but but what happens in terms of our ability to unify and move forward he's going to dictate
01:47:48.520 that by the self-awareness he shows from here steve it's always good to see you what an invigorating
01:47:54.980 uh conversation today thank you so much uh steve dace you can hear him on blaze uh the blaze radio
01:48:00.180 network and blaze tv right after this uh program liz wheeler is joining us next with her point of
01:48:05.300 you um all on the day after it's not a it's not a black wednesday it's not um i feel exactly like

01:48:19.540 pass that on to people today more in a minute
01:48:35.300 Winter is coming in Ukraine, and for thousands of vulnerable Jewish people still living there,
01:48:41.800 it is a terrifying prospect. After years of war, the country's infrastructure has been
01:48:45.880 devastated. Power stations have been attacked. Heating and water systems have been damaged.
01:48:50.100 Have you seen the videos lately of what it's like to live in Kiev? It is. It's unbelievable.
01:48:57.120 When temperature drops below freezing, losing electricity is not just an inconvenience,
01:49:01.420 especially for an elderly person living alone, it can become a matter of life and death extremely
01:49:06.420 quickly. There are people that have survived the Holocaust in Ukraine who have already endured
01:49:11.060 more suffering than most of us can imagine. And now in their final years, facing another war,
01:49:16.200 another bitter winter, it's absolutely something we should all consider unacceptable and do
01:49:22.360 everything we can to help. If this is something near and dear to your heart, if you're a Christian,
01:49:29.940 join the fellowship of christians and jews and work to provide food and heating assistance and
01:49:35.660 medicine heal heal you can get involved right now all you have to do is just go to
01:49:43.200 give ifcj.org that's give ifcj.org
01:49:49.640 glenn warned you this would happen a year ago and now we're here watch capital controls free
01:49:54.860 now on youtube but if you want to support more specials like this you can help us build
01:49:59.280 at glennbeck.com.
01:50:24.940 Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
01:50:26.880 I want to bring in Liz Wheeler.
01:50:28.040 uh she's blaze tv host liz wheeler program liz wheeler show uh also the author of hide your
01:50:34.200 children you might want to do that again things might get a little dicey uh liz as as i used to
01:50:41.800 say growing up in the pacific northwest don't harsh my mellow i know ricky texted me that two
01:50:48.100 seconds ago she's like are you gonna harsh glenn's mellow and i was like oh i might all right i mean
01:50:55.340 I'm, I, I am very, very clear. There's a lot to learn here. But despair and anger is, is a waste
01:51:07.620 of time. We need to be committed to what the truth is, what actually happened. And you're
01:51:13.940 not going to get that from CNN or MS Now or New York Times. But this was a repudiation of the
01:51:21.220 do-nothing Republicans, not Donald Trump. I mean, Donald Trump had a role to play in this,
01:51:28.140 but it was, I'm not voting for another Republican because they did not do any of the things they
01:51:34.460 said they were going to do. They did nothing. They passed one bill. Do you agree with that?
01:51:40.480 Partially, yes. I certainly agree with the analysis of the do-nothing Republicans. I mean,
01:51:46.000 of all the useless people on earth, I think the Republicans in Congress win the prize, 0.99
01:51:49.960 every single one of them. And I agree, we should not despair. I agree that there's a sort of 0.98
01:51:55.840 righteous indignation that we should feel. That's not necessarily anger, although sometimes it feels
01:52:02.080 quite close. I think to move forward and to be able to swing the pendulum in the other direction,
01:52:08.820 which our nation is great. That's what happens. Even after crushing losses, we end up, the other
01:52:13.680 party ends up winning either in the next election or the next one. So that's a little white pill for
01:52:18.880 the day. In order to do that, though, we don't just wait around for the next election. It requires
01:52:23.260 a proper diagnosis of what happened in order to be able to prescribe. Well, I think a couple of
01:52:28.900 things. I think you're hearing a lot right now from people on the right about the role that the
01:52:33.740 military operation in Iran played in voter turnout or in even young men, young right wing men's
01:52:41.640 decision to vote, not just not for Republicans, but to swing their vote to Democrat. And I want
01:52:46.920 address this because I think it's very important to understand exactly what role it played,
01:52:51.460 because it's not exactly accurate just to say, you know, President Trump got us involved in
01:52:55.860 another war in the Middle East. And this, you know, was a betrayal of his base. That's not
01:52:59.520 exactly accurate. Um, but it is true that the Iran war obviously impacted Trump's base. And
01:53:04.700 that was for two reasons. Part of it was due to the opposition, which I share to forever wars
01:53:09.760 and also the practicality of how it raised gas prices that impacts people. They don't like it.
01:53:14.000 it impacts how they vote yes now i would say bear with me on this because some some of you might
01:53:19.380 disagree with this but hear me out i personally find part of um the reality that the iran military
01:53:26.440 operation impact people's votes to be frustrating because while i also oppose forever wars and i
01:53:31.760 also detest high gas prices i think a portion of trump's base especially the young men conflated
01:53:37.980 that military operation in iran with the forever wars in iraq and afghanistan agree and i think
01:53:43.720 that comparison is unfair, actually, based on the reality of what the military operation in Iran is
01:53:49.200 thus far, and also based on the fact that Trump actually had a stated goal of what he hoped to
01:53:54.300 accomplish that's very different than Iraq and Afghanistan. And I think the stated goal most
01:53:58.600 people agree with, at least theoretically, that Iran should not have a nuclear weapon because that 0.80
01:54:04.080 poses a direct threat to America, to us, not just to our allies, but to us. And also, of course, 0.88
01:54:09.720 based on Trump's history of opposing forever wars. But Glenn, regardless of whether I think
01:54:14.140 that conflation is unfair, the reality is that Iran did make a difference in the election. You
01:54:19.340 can look at, I think Molly Hemingway last night posted a graph that showed Trump's approval
01:54:24.200 rating as it correlates to gas prices and the two numbers track together. They track together and
01:54:30.800 we would be imbeciles if we ignored that. So I'm not going to sit here and necessarily say the war 0.98
01:54:35.940 itself was a mistake. I actually can't say that to you, honestly, because I don't believe that.
01:54:40.580 I agree. Partially because you and I don't have access to the intelligence that the President
01:54:45.600 of the United States has that answers the million-dollar question about whether this
01:54:49.740 military operation was justified. That million-dollar question is, was Iran really imminently
01:54:54.720 about to acquire a nuclear weapon or about to cross a threshold in the development of a nuke
01:54:58.820 that would easily make that development happen more quickly? We don't know the answer to that
01:55:04.080 question. Only Trump knows the answer to that question. I will tell you, Liz, I'm going to go
01:55:07.920 a step further. I don't even need to know that. I know that since 1979, every president has said,
01:55:15.520 we've got to stop this, we've got to stop this, and nobody would. So Donald Trump may have looked
01:55:21.000 at this coming off the heels of success after success after success with the amazing movements
01:55:26.960 of the military. He might have said, you know what, I'm going to take care of this because
01:55:30.220 nobody else will you know he might have said i appreciate that they're not going to be close to
01:55:34.600 it another three years but i don't know who's going to be in office in three years i'm taking
01:55:38.400 care of it now i i i still accept that as um as reason enough to do it but that's just i do too
01:55:45.740 and i don't i don't count myself actually in the faction of people who are vehemently opposed to
01:55:51.460 trump's military operation in iran i do count myself in the faction that trump actually
01:55:55.320 introduced to the republican party he taught conservatives to be anti-forever war to recognize
01:55:59.920 neocons. And I mean, history will look back at Trump and Trump completely reshaped the
01:56:05.660 conservative movement in the Republican Party away from the military industrial complex. And
01:56:09.700 we should be eternally grateful to him for that, which is another reason I don't quite understand
01:56:15.000 why people don't give him the benefit of the doubt on this military operation, because he's the guy
01:56:19.580 who said all along, we're not doing that again. So if a president of the United States is going
01:56:23.880 to be the one who takes care of the Iran nuclear threat once and for all, I want it to be Trump 0.50
01:56:28.680 Because I'm confident that he's not going to drag this out into a forever war, that he has a goal and he will accomplish it. 0.70
01:56:34.520 But here's why it made a difference, because you had come off of the Epstein thing.
01:56:39.400 You had come off of all the trials that Pam Bondi did not do.
01:56:43.620 You didn't have Elon Musk.
01:56:45.860 You kick him out after six months and you don't get any savings.
01:56:48.820 You don't get any of that.
01:56:49.980 And people know that that corruption is there.
01:56:53.480 And then you get, you know, No Save America Act.
01:56:57.220 And so they have all of that.
01:56:58.320 And then on top of it, it looks like Donald Trump is not paying attention to that.
01:57:02.140 He's going to fight this war, which makes my gas prices go on.
01:57:05.260 I'm done with all of them.
01:57:06.660 Totally.
01:57:07.220 I think that's what it is.
01:57:07.920 So the disillusionment, the disillusionment, and you nailed every single aspect of the disillusionment.
01:57:12.160 People would have been, and I'm talking about Trump's base, the people whose, like, primary issue,
01:57:16.820 their one-issue voters on foreign wars in Iran and intervention in the Middle East.
01:57:21.240 These people would have given Trump more leeway on his military operation in Iran,
01:57:25.320 even on the domestic implications the gas prices if they felt trust in president trump and if for
01:57:31.080 example trump had pounded justice as soon as he took office you know we we wanted perp walks and
01:57:36.360 jumpsuits fauci brennan all of them pam bondy did not do that basically zero of the democrats
01:57:41.640 who weaponized government under biden against us have been held accountable people felt that
01:57:46.520 viscerally they felt disillusioned because they voted for justice that's you and i talked about
01:57:50.680 this at length last year that's why people felt the epstein binders so significantly because they
01:57:56.280 associated that with justice they associated that with corrupt government officials covering up
01:58:01.380 crimes a different standard of justice for rich people powerful people intel people and they
01:58:06.540 didn't want that trump promised to go and drain the swamp and so they felt that disillusion i will
01:58:10.600 tell you i will tell you that i i uh i said that early on if trump doesn't have by the midterms
01:58:16.420 If there aren't people in jail that, you know, we know at least having a fair trial, but they didn't try them and put everything into it, we'll lose the midterms.
01:58:28.480 And I kind of talked myself out of it because I didn't want to believe it.
01:58:32.840 But so balance this.
01:58:35.600 So we have that.
01:58:36.420 We understand that.
01:58:37.240 Now balance this with Tallarico and El Syed.
01:58:41.600 Yes.
01:58:42.120 Okay.
01:58:42.480 So here's the second thing.
01:58:43.720 All of that was just an explanation, a diagnosis of why some people felt disillusioned or why some people felt that they didn't want to turn out to vote.
01:58:51.200 But this is a critical point, Glenn, that has been ignored even by people on our side of the aisle.
01:58:56.300 And that is this question. How do we as a nation, how do we have a nation where more than half of people vote for, you know, Tallarico and El Saeed, where half of the people in our country cheered the assassination, the murder of Charlie Kirk?
01:59:11.120 How do we how this is not this is not a rhetorical question. How do we have a nation where this where this is half of the population?
01:59:17.620 The answer to that question is twofold. The first part of it is the Democrat Party has been overtaken by a very sophisticated and very motivated apparatus that is committed not just to political power the way the DNC was in the past, but committed to a very radical ideology.
01:59:33.380 And they know how to win strategically. So it's a double whammy. I'm, of course, talking about the DSA.
01:59:37.800 We do not exist anymore in a world where it's RNC versus DNC.
01:59:42.000 And not only does the left suddenly have a political apparatus that produces radical candidates and effective targeted campaigns that elect these candidates,
01:59:52.220 we have ceded control of all the institutions in our country to leftists who use those institutions to indoctrinate young people to vote for those radical candidates.
02:00:02.160 and this is a problem that nobody even on the right glenn wants to address because you know
02:00:08.300 colleges and universities are a status symbol and what would happen to the economy if trump
02:00:12.500 did what he can do and should do and cut off federal funding to schools that brainwash and
02:00:16.480 indoctrinate our youth but this is actually a huge part of the problem because the electoral
02:00:20.960 strategy or the campaign tactics the dsa takeover the democrat party would not be effective if our
02:00:27.600 institutions we're not producing the voters to support that so the question that we have to
02:00:32.380 contend with now as conservatives is what are we going to do to confront this if we ever want to
02:00:36.360 win again so and i don't think they would have been as powerful if there hadn't been and and
02:00:42.340 talk me down from this tree liz i i said last night if you look at what's happening in europe
02:00:48.560 all over the west everywhere including japan all of these places the entire west it's the same
02:00:56.980 exact playbook. We have a color revolution happening in the entire West. And when you look
02:01:04.780 at what's happening, it's the same laws being passed. It's the same tricks of the media. It's
02:01:11.740 the same talking points. It's the same everything. Last night, I said, I feel as though this is the
02:01:19.800 first global election in world history not that the globe interfered well i'm sure they did but
02:01:27.860 not that they interfered um you know directly um not that anybody was pulling anybody's strings
02:01:35.920 it's that the left has organized globally and so there is this support network across the entire
02:01:44.180 west that is learning how to maneuver and it's just getting stronger and stronger because it's
02:01:50.880 doing a hundred elections when the republicans are doing one do you agree yes i mean partially
02:01:57.020 yes i mean you have senator democrat senator elisa slotkin who is on video a day or two ago
02:02:02.120 saying that she went over to poland and hungary and consulted with the leaders of their color
02:02:06.320 revolutions yes um on how to quote stop authoritarianism which obviously doesn't
02:02:11.040 mean actually stopping authoritarianism. It means toppling the regime. In this case,
02:02:15.060 they falsely accused Trump of being at the authoritarian so that they can topple our
02:02:18.420 federal government. I think the white pill, though, the counterpoint to this sort of like
02:02:23.540 global revolution that we're obviously seeing happen. The white pill is that the vote last
02:02:28.540 night wasn't a repudiation of the America first agenda of the agenda that President Trump
02:02:34.020 campaigned on that we voted him into office to execute. In fact, it was opposite of that.
02:02:38.640 the Republicans that either didn't turn out to vote or even the ones that foolishly cast their
02:02:43.160 ballot for Democrats to get revenge on Trump did so not because they're rejecting what the America
02:02:48.820 first agenda means, which is literally putting America first, rejecting globalism, rejecting
02:02:52.920 wokeism. It's because they were not satisfied with the extent they wanted Trump to do more
02:02:57.940 than he's done. And they didn't feel like he was doing enough to try to achieve that agenda.
02:03:02.360 So that's actually a very white pill moment. It's the Republicans, the Republicans. When you
02:03:08.000 look at the states that passed things what is it iowa that passed the uh uh the save america act or
02:03:15.980 yes several states voted for it that flipped the other way so the republicans went out voted for
02:03:21.920 democrats but then put that in that was a repudiation you people didn't do it we'll do it
02:03:29.000 ourselves that was a clear message i think from republicans you didn't do it so i now have to do
02:03:37.440 it and i'm not rewarding you i'm gonna pass that in my own state now but i'm not gonna i'm there
02:03:43.940 is no there's no drafting on this i am not going to allow you to draft on that vote you made me do
02:03:52.120 it behind our nation's defense is a powerful network of canadian communities supported by
02:03:58.120 lockheed martin canada it's a network of over 1300 employees and over a thousand local suppliers
02:04:03.880 from small family businesses to major tech firms.

02:04:10.600 to the Canadian economy over the past five years.

02:04:23.720 Yeah, and I think this is where we feel
02:04:26.260 the political loss of Charlie Kirk so deeply
02:04:28.620 because this coalition that President Trump built
02:04:31.160 in 2016 but more strongly even in 2024 uh trump built that but charlie kirk was one of the ones
02:04:37.700 who held that together and he tempered some of the reactionary impulses of certain portions of
02:04:43.640 trump's base again like the young men you know they were unhappy with the iran war there's very
02:04:48.640 valid grievances there that's fine i i we can disagree on it and so i can still recognize the
02:04:53.200 valid grievances on that but the appropriate reaction to that is not to go and cast your vote
02:04:58.700 for Abdul Mohammed
02:05:00.700 Al-Sayed. The proper
02:05:02.660 reaction to that is not to hand over power 0.89
02:05:04.860 in our government to communists who 0.99
02:05:06.680 want you dead. The proper reaction to 0.99
02:05:08.760 that is to hold our side accountable and to make
02:05:10.720 sure that we're picking not loser 0.66
02:05:12.560 candidates. I mean, think about some of the candidates
02:05:14.740 here. You know, Darlene Graham and
02:05:16.380 Paxton and, you know, these different
02:05:18.820 give back. Like, come
02:05:20.740 on, are we even trying to win?
02:05:21.960 We had Paxton on a couple of days ago, and
02:05:24.680 I looked at Ricky. I've never done
02:05:26.700 this. Have I ever done this, Ricky? I looked
02:05:28.560 at her in the middle of the deal I had burned through like eight questions that I had thought
02:05:32.580 out and I looked in the middle of the interview because he was like yeah okay well let me ask you
02:05:39.120 another question yeah and I looked at Ricky and I turned my mic off and I said I need more questions
02:05:44.400 he is not helping himself or me at all and so she started writing questions I've never done I've
02:05:51.540 never run out of questions but he was just like yeah I don't know well maybe I guess I mean because
02:05:57.860 I'll be better. And you're like, oh my gosh, are you trying to win or lose? I've never seen anything
02:06:03.420 like it. I know. I was on Piers Morgan, I think last week, and there was the, I forget the guy's
02:06:07.840 name. It was the candidate that was challenging Cory Booker. And his answer to a question about
02:06:12.240 the election was, you know, I didn't really come prepared. I was like, what are you doing? You
02:06:16.240 want to be a U.S. Senator? Are you kidding me? Liz, thank you so much. Listen to Liz Wheeler.

02:06:36.840 about burn a launcher there is something that bothers me about the way people talk about
02:06:39.920 personal safety you're going to spend hours arguing about what somebody should have done
02:06:43.620 in a dangerous situation usually from the comfort of a chair with a cup of coffee and absolutely no
02:06:48.860 one threatening them well making decisions under pressure is really a different experience and
02:06:53.800 that's why i believe in giving people more options for self-defense and then asking you to prepare
02:06:58.340 the burn a compact launcher is less lethal self-defense device that fires kinetic or chemical
02:07:04.660 projectiles it gives you an alternative to traditional firearms when you need to respond
02:07:09.560 to a threat you have something it's compact remarkably small it's about four inches long
