00:00:00.000 I'm going to take you way, way ahead of everybody else.
00:00:03.020 And I'm going to show you what the future is, what the how things are going to split up and the arguments of the future are going to be in probably the nearest nearish future, because the pieces are all beginning to fit together.
00:00:14.700 You know, when Bill Gates comes out and says, oh, you know, I'm you know, it looks like the climate crisis isn't as bad as we thought it was.
00:00:21.660 Really? And then you have Amazon cutting 30,000 workers.
00:00:25.940 What you're seeing is the beginning of the fight for energy and jobs by the big tech people.
00:00:32.640 And there is a split with technology and A.I. and Marxism, communism, fascism.
00:00:38.400 It all boils down to what are you actually for, not against?
00:00:42.480 We'll talk about that. And I did something on what is true.
00:00:47.660 You know, try to explain how important it is to do your own homework with what you believe on online theories.
00:00:54.700 And Carol Roth joins us for a look at the economy.
00:00:58.320 All that and more on today's podcast.
00:01:00.820 First, let me tell you about pre-born.
00:01:02.240 Every life begins the same way, small, dependent and full of potential.
00:01:05.580 But not every life is welcome with support.
00:01:07.760 Some women are facing pressure, financial stress and fear that nobody else sees.
00:01:12.540 Many are told, you know, you're on your own.
00:01:14.600 But pre-born refuses to let that be the end of the story.
00:01:17.500 They provide free ultrasounds that expectant mothers see.
00:01:21.080 And, you know, with that beginning and the counseling that follows, the material support, the relationship that lasts,
00:01:30.540 they don't just say choose life and walk away.
00:01:33.440 They say choose life.
00:01:35.160 Mom chooses life out of love.
00:01:37.800 And then they stick around to build a foundation for that life to thrive.
00:01:41.540 Choosing life is not just a decision.
00:01:43.280 It's a journey.
00:01:44.140 And it requires strength and guidance and community.
00:01:46.760 And pre-born is expanding their efforts right now.
00:01:50.200 Get involved.
00:01:51.000 Please dial pound 250.
00:01:52.440 Say the keyword baby.
00:01:53.520 Make any donation that you can.
00:01:55.500 Save a life today.
00:01:56.960 Two of them.
00:01:57.520 Mom and baby.
00:01:58.700 Pre-born.com slash back.
00:02:00.620 That's pre-born.com slash back or pound 250 keyword baby.
00:02:08.400 Hello, America.
00:02:09.640 You know we've been fighting every single day.
00:02:11.480 We push back against the lies, the censorship, the nonsense of the mainstream media that they're trying to feed you.
00:02:17.960 We work tirelessly to bring you the unfiltered truth because you deserve it.
00:02:22.800 But to keep this fight going, we need you.
00:02:25.240 Right now, would you take a moment and rate and review the Glenn Beck podcast?
00:02:29.000 Give us five stars and lead a comment because every single review helps us break through Big Tech's algorithm to reach more Americans who need to hear the truth.
00:02:37.680 If this isn't a podcast, this is a movement, and you're part of it, a big part of it.
00:02:42.640 So if you believe in what we're doing, you want more people to wake up, help us push this podcast to the top.
00:02:47.720 Rate, review, share.
00:02:49.320 Together, we'll make a difference.
00:02:51.420 And thanks for standing with us.
00:02:52.700 Now let's get to work.
00:03:01.800 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:03:05.680 Hey, make sure you get your No King But Christ gear at glennbeck.com.
00:03:11.780 Our glennbeck.com store is open.
00:03:15.440 I'm wearing the No King But Christ polo shirt right now.
00:03:19.760 This is an old colonial symbol with the skull and crossbones and a crown floating above the head, meaning the kings are human.
00:03:30.140 They die.
00:03:30.540 But the crown is eternal, and it only belongs on the head of Christ.
00:03:35.040 No King But Christ.
00:03:36.000 You can get them now at glennbeck.com.
00:03:39.480 Let me move something up.
00:03:41.260 I was going to talk about this next hour, but I think this will help people really understand what is coming and why I put this chalkboard together to show you how this is going to shake out in the future.
00:03:53.020 And why you really need to pay attention to the things that are happening right now.
00:04:01.580 Forget about, is Donald Trump going to run in 2028?
00:04:04.780 He's trolling.
00:04:06.080 Don't you get it?
00:04:07.480 He's trolling.
00:04:09.060 So, can we talk about real issues?
00:04:12.500 Let me tell you about the coming blackout.
00:04:15.460 Right now, in the last few days, there is a group of lawmakers in the mid-Atlantic and Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Virginia.
00:04:21.960 They're all sounding the alarm.
00:04:23.720 And they're sounding the alarm because they believe, and I do too, that the worst power bill crisis in a generation is happening right now.
00:04:34.320 Skyrocketing bills and strained grids.
00:04:37.800 How is it this is happening?
00:04:40.860 We've drilled baby drilled.
00:04:42.120 We've put new power plants online or old power plants we've brought back online.
00:04:46.360 Well, they're saying that part of the problem is all this new green energy crap.
00:04:50.320 And everybody is still saying, we've got to have green energy, we've got to have green energy.
00:04:54.540 I just want you to hear me out here for a second because I'm going to give you the reality of what's going on.
00:05:00.760 Green energy is wonderful, I guess.
00:05:03.060 But it is absolutely a thing that will set us back 100 years plus.
00:05:13.680 Green energy does not work for the America of 2000.
00:05:20.320 It certainly doesn't work today.
00:05:23.400 Every single month, a new server farm is breaking ground somewhere in America.
00:05:28.520 Once a month, that means 12 new server farms this year.
00:05:31.320 That is going to snowball.
00:05:33.760 By the end of 2026, you will be seeing them built and breaking ground maybe one a week.
00:05:39.260 What we have so far, not building things small here, each one of these data centers, which is feeding artificial intelligence, crypto, cloud computing,
00:05:51.860 they consume as much power as 50 homes all the time.
00:05:57.140 I told you at the beginning of the hour, Bill Gates has just come out and said, you know what?
00:06:03.260 Global warming is not as bad as we thought it was.
00:06:06.360 It's so laughable because it is so transparent.
00:06:09.040 He's so evil.
00:06:10.480 It's not as bad as everybody thought it was.
00:06:12.360 We've got to get off this global warming bandwagon.
00:06:14.620 We've got to do some things, but we need power plants.
00:06:16.880 I'll tell you that right now.
00:06:17.940 Why?
00:06:18.280 You know who Bill Gates' partner is?
00:06:21.480 Open AI.
00:06:23.840 Chat GPT.
00:06:25.900 Okay?
00:06:26.720 That's his partner.
00:06:28.600 So we know why he's off this bandwagon because they're struggling right now to find enough electricity for what they're currently running,
00:06:38.540 let alone the next generation of systems.
00:06:41.160 You have Google, Meta, Amazon that are buying up land next to every major substation that they can find because they know what's coming.
00:06:51.660 But wait a minute.
00:06:52.280 They're building it near substations.
00:06:54.540 Wait, wait, hold on.
00:06:56.840 Are you taking the power from my home?
00:07:01.380 In many cases, yes.
00:07:04.260 Listen to this.
00:07:05.140 This is from the International Energy Agency.
00:07:07.620 This is something they just released.
00:07:10.200 Global data center power will double by the end of 2026.
00:07:17.800 That is equivalent to adding another Japan to our energy demand.
00:07:25.840 Okay?
00:07:26.080 Another Japan.
00:07:26.920 And that's just for computers and server farms.
00:07:29.480 Adding Japan.
00:07:31.740 What are we building to be able to serve that?
00:07:37.200 Not enough.
00:07:39.160 Ireland has just begun restricting the new data centers.
00:07:42.900 Now, here's what's going to happen.
00:07:44.540 You're going to restrict them and it's going to leave you in the past.
00:07:48.300 Now, maybe you want to be left in the past.
00:07:50.880 And that's what that chalkboard is about.
00:07:53.140 Maybe you want to be left in the past.
00:07:55.160 But Ireland has just said, no more server farms.
00:07:57.660 Parts of the Netherlands, Singapore, Sweden, they are freezing construction now on all server farms because their grids can't handle the demand already.
00:08:10.740 Tokyo's grid is so strained by the server farms that they have.
00:08:15.740 Blackouts have already occurred in Tokyo during peak hours.
00:08:20.860 China, which is building a new coal fire plant every week, is rationing power to factories so they can keep the AI data hubs running.
00:08:30.620 So, what happens when we shut down coal and stall nuclear and depend on sunshine and windmills?
00:08:40.620 What happens?
00:08:41.780 Who's powering the cloud?
00:08:43.080 P.J.M., this is mid-Atlantic grid.
00:08:49.100 P.J.M. is the one that runs it.
00:08:50.960 One of the largest in the world.
00:08:52.720 They say their grid in the mid-Atlantic is already at the breaking point.
00:08:57.560 They have warned, quote, of critically tight capacity.
00:09:01.200 Meaning, one bad storm, one bad heat wave, one bad cold spell, and you've got rolling blackouts.
00:09:09.520 Okay?
00:09:09.960 Why?
00:09:10.300 Because the last administration retired reliable fossil fuel plants faster than we could replace them.
00:09:17.800 We didn't replace them.
00:09:19.440 So, we're already behind the eight ball.
00:09:22.340 And now, the surge and the search for power is on.
00:09:26.420 In Maryland alone, energy production has dropped as consumption has surged.
00:09:32.660 Why?
00:09:33.600 Because of the data centers.
00:09:34.800 Virginia's data center corridor, which is, you know, the economic crown jewel of Virginia.
00:09:43.120 This giant data center corridor that happens in Virginia.
00:09:46.940 It now consumes, now, today, you're still figuring out what AI does.
00:09:53.220 Okay?
00:09:54.260 It now consumes one-fifth of Virginia's total energy output.
00:10:00.400 One-fifth.
00:10:01.220 Today.
00:10:01.640 Why is your electricity price going up?
00:10:05.800 Why have eggs gone down?
00:10:07.320 They're back to over a dollar a dozen.
00:10:09.900 Why has gas gone down?
00:10:11.820 It's now back to the price it was in, what, 18 or 19.
00:10:16.460 Why are these prices going down, yet your energy costs are skyrocketing?
00:10:20.640 Skyrocketing, chat GPT, AI, all the things that Amazon just fired 30,000 people because they're going to replace them with electric robots and machines and AI.
00:10:36.340 That takes power.
00:10:39.240 Imagine, you know, what happens to your price of housing when you import 10 million people?
00:10:45.480 The price of housing goes through the roof and nobody can afford a house.
00:10:48.060 What happens to electricity when all those people are not powered on food or, you know, have to live in a house but just need electricity?
00:10:56.380 When you have all that electricity demand for these AI systems and bots, of course the price is going to go through the roof.
00:11:04.800 Especially if we are at the same time that the demand is going up, we're saying limit the number of power plants.
00:11:13.740 Let's go all green.
00:11:14.760 If you want green energy, and you've known this, we've said this, it's degrowth.
00:11:23.420 But listen to me carefully, I am not throwing you under the bus.
00:11:26.640 If you want green energy, then you have to recognize, and maybe you're fine with this, probably are, no Bitcoin, no AI, and no modern digital economy.
00:11:37.400 It doesn't exist.
00:11:38.520 If you want AI, and the server farms, and the EVs, and your self-driving car, digital infrastructure, you must start building power plants in your state right now.
00:11:52.660 Now, the problem is, these two realities cannot coexist.
00:11:58.440 So we're going to see a split in the country.
00:12:01.600 Okay?
00:12:02.180 The climate cult, as they're calling it, it's going to run headlong into artificial intelligence.
00:12:09.180 And when that happens, lights go out in your house.
00:12:12.920 So what do you do?
00:12:16.220 Let me give you two options.
00:12:17.920 If you live in a state, and you want to go net zero, you now have to demand, right now, that they stop approving new server farms in your state.
00:12:30.140 Because that is in direct conflict with your green agenda.
00:12:33.820 You cannot live in a state that is building new server farms, or is supplying power to server farms across the border to another state.
00:12:43.180 You must pass laws right now, and I'm not for this, but I'm just giving you the option if you're for a green energy revolution.
00:12:51.440 You must stop all server farms being built in your state, or they will bleed you dry.
00:12:58.040 And you must also pass a law saying, we are not selling our electricity over state lines for a server farm.
00:13:06.620 Got to do it.
00:13:07.600 Got to do it now.
00:13:09.020 You cannot run a trillion parameter AI model on fairy dust, or solar power, or wind power.
00:13:20.900 It doesn't happen.
00:13:21.800 Now, if you believe in innovation, if you believe in the free market, if you believe in progress, if you believe in AI, you got to call your state reps right now and demand new, stable, high output energy plants.
00:13:42.000 The president is saying that all of these companies that are building these server farms must be responsible for their own power.
00:13:49.640 They must build their own power plant.
00:13:52.720 You don't get anything from the grid, but that's not happening.
00:13:58.280 So you need to go to your state rep and say, they cannot take the grid power.
00:14:03.780 They cannot take the power from the people.
00:14:05.580 They have to create their own power, and I would say, and in fact, if they want to do it in a state, they must put some excess power into the grid.
00:14:15.960 Because they're the ones that are going to be able to build the nuclear power plant.
00:14:19.760 Not your state.
00:14:20.640 They will.
00:14:21.460 Gas, nuclear, hydro, whatever it takes, you need to call your state and say, we want power.
00:14:30.300 And we want the grids, and we want the server farms.
00:14:35.960 But if you are apathetic on this, or if you are ignorant on this, and you don't begin to act now, you are going to be at the whims of whoever it is that's running your state.
00:14:52.500 California, we know which way you're going.
00:14:55.000 But are you building server farms as well?
00:14:57.380 Because if you are, Utah, you should pass a law.
00:15:03.140 We are not going to sell any more power to California.
00:15:06.460 Because they will take your power to fund their server farms, not the people.
00:15:13.640 Their server farms, they will buy more power from you.
00:15:17.660 Which, if they're buying it from you, do you have enough for your server farms and your people in your state?
00:15:24.580 Most likely, no.
00:15:25.900 No.
00:15:27.380 Unless you are doubling down on energy building right now.
00:15:34.020 This is the near-term problem.
00:15:39.240 Believe it or not, by the end of 2026, everybody will be very well aware of what energy is costing them.
00:15:47.580 And what server farms are doing to the stability of our grid.
00:15:51.980 Unless people act right now.
00:15:55.620 And, you know, it's one thing to act at the federal level.
00:15:58.560 This has to be at your local level.
00:16:01.340 And quite honestly, I want the energy in Texas.
00:16:06.980 I do not want to ship our energy someplace else for somebody else's server farm if they're not pulling their own weight on electricity.
00:16:15.980 Because Texas is going to have server farms out the wazoo.
00:16:22.780 We are building the power plants.
00:16:26.420 We're not building them fast enough.
00:16:28.100 But we are building them.
00:16:29.480 And until we know our population, which is growing exponentially, our population can have the power they need to live, survive, and work.
00:16:41.080 And the power plants, or the server farms that we are building, they have their power as well.
00:16:47.300 There shouldn't be any.
00:16:48.420 There shouldn't be one kilowatt that is going across our border.
00:16:52.360 Especially to states who are green.
00:16:55.300 But this one's going to be up to you.
00:17:00.280 Let me tell you about relief factor.
00:17:02.160 There's a difference between getting older and feeling old.
00:17:05.240 You know the moment you catch yourself saying,
00:17:07.400 I used to do that.
00:17:08.600 Maybe it was hiking and gardening and stuff, but I can't get on the floor anymore.
00:17:14.100 And you're like, 40.
00:17:15.880 And you're like, what is happening to me?
00:17:18.580 What's happening to you is work, stress, time.
00:17:21.900 Before you know it, everything starts to hurt.
00:17:24.140 Muscles tighten.
00:17:25.300 And everyday tasks feel like they just take a little more out of you than they used to.
00:17:29.120 Relief factor was created for that moment.
00:17:31.500 When you're ready to get back into living instead of managing.
00:17:34.800 It's a daily fight against inflation.
00:17:38.040 Sorry, inflammation.
00:17:39.400 And inflation.
00:17:40.480 Inflammation.
00:17:41.100 That's what causes most of our problems in life.
00:17:44.080 Wait, can we just give the government relief factor?
00:17:45.760 I would love to.
00:17:46.980 I would love to.
00:17:48.260 There's still more in life for you.
00:17:50.180 More conversations.
00:17:51.440 More projects.

00:18:05.000 Now, back to the podcast.
00:18:06.620 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck Program.
00:18:12.740 Carol, welcome to the program.
00:18:14.660 Hi, Glenn.
00:18:15.240 How are you?
00:18:15.700 Good.
00:18:16.260 Good.
00:18:17.080 Can you tell me what's going on in Argentina?
00:18:19.180 First of all, the currency swap.
00:18:20.920 We didn't make a loan to Argentina.
00:18:23.840 We made a currency swap, which, you know, I'm not really fond of the, what is it, the peso?
00:18:32.740 Or what is their currency down in Argentina?
00:18:35.740 The Argentinian peso.
00:18:37.380 So you don't have a bunch of those in your vault with all your gold and silver?
00:18:41.200 No.
00:18:41.420 Nope.
00:18:41.840 I don't.
00:18:42.560 I don't.
00:18:44.000 But we do now.
00:18:45.820 Because we currency swapped, right?
00:18:47.860 Yes.
00:18:48.300 What's that mean?
00:18:48.720 This is, yeah, this is not, you know, just giving money to Argentina for its government
00:18:54.300 to spend.
00:18:55.180 This is a financial support, which, by the way, currency swaps are not something that's
00:19:01.420 unusual.
00:19:01.980 We do this, you know, all the time with our allies, with Japan and Canada and whatnot.
00:19:07.860 What is unusual in this particular situation is how it's affected.
00:19:12.900 So basically what happened is that we gave the Argentinian central bank dollars, we took
00:19:20.520 as collateral the peso, and that is meant to support the Argentinian peso and help to
00:19:27.740 stabilize its currency.
00:19:29.480 And a couple of things of note.
00:19:32.160 One is how it was done is interesting, because normally when we do currency swaps and we have
00:19:37.660 these lines, it's done through the Federal Reserve, our central bank.
00:19:42.900 This time, it was not.
00:19:45.540 It was done through the Treasury, through something called the ESF, the Exchange Stabilization Fund,
00:19:52.160 which is sort of a black box fund that allows Treasury to move quickly.
00:19:56.800 You don't need Jay Powell.
00:19:58.120 You don't need the approval of Congress in order to do these things.
00:20:03.020 And that's what it was built for, to stabilize currency in friendly countries.
00:20:07.880 And in the U.S., by the way.
00:20:09.620 I can talk about the history and how we've used it in the U.S. before, but just to kind
00:20:13.900 of get to the Argentinian point, we did this before the election to help stabilize things
00:20:21.160 for Malay so that his government can win.
00:20:22.900 But we didn't do this because we think Malay is a good guy, and we didn't do this because
00:20:27.020 we think he has fabulous hair, even though we do think that.
00:20:29.840 The reason we did this is to secure our interest, because you know who has been making a play
00:20:37.160 in Argentina and throughout Latin America?
00:20:39.920 Do you know who's had a long-term currency swap line and plays with Argentina?
00:20:44.660 It's another country, and I'll give you all a hint.
00:20:46.960 It rhymes with China.
00:20:48.180 So China's influence all around the world with their Belt and Road initiatives, where
00:20:55.020 they're trying to dominate traditional infrastructure, digital infrastructure, financial infrastructure.
00:21:01.740 We are trying to kick out their influence for national security reasons.
00:21:07.820 Also, it just so happens that Argentina has the second largest reserve of lithium, as well
00:21:14.900 as a smaller set of reserves of other rare earth elements that we need access to for our
00:21:20.240 economic and national security.
00:21:23.040 So that is what is underpinning all of this, is because we don't want to be speaking Mandarin
00:21:28.140 one day.
00:21:29.200 It is amazing how Donald Trump, people just don't understand this.
00:21:32.260 Everything he's doing in South America, he is realigning the globe.
00:21:36.040 He is doing his own version of America First Great Reset, and he's just doing it by himself.
00:21:47.140 I mean, it's pretty incredible, isn't it, Carol?
00:21:50.020 It really is, and this is why, you know, I remember when we first had the discussion about
00:21:55.320 Scott Bessett, as he's the right person for Treasury, and I eased everyone's concerns.
00:22:00.600 Scott Bessett made his fortune on foreign currency exchange.
00:22:04.460 There is nobody who understands the machinations of how you use currency to support countries
00:22:11.360 and also, you know, the impact on political influence, like Scott Bessett.
00:22:16.420 So he has been side by side with President Trump, who has said, you know, China's influence
00:22:21.680 in South America is a national security issue.
00:22:25.440 It's a priority.
00:22:26.480 And, you know, at this time when we're seeing a reset of the global financial order, and you
00:22:32.780 have China making this very big play at the same time when we really have a serious issue
00:22:38.840 with our fiscal foundation, at a minimum, we need to make sure that we have our hemisphere,
00:22:44.460 you know, locked down before we can do anything else.
00:22:47.420 And China has really been focused on making inroads in Latin America, and that is what this
00:22:53.700 is all about.
00:22:54.260 And it's not just about the currency swap.
00:22:56.000 You know, you talked about the importation of Argentinian beef.
00:23:00.580 That is a piece of it as well.
00:23:02.680 And we have to support U.S. ranchers.
00:23:05.060 We have to make it easier for them to do business.
00:23:07.220 We have to remove regulation.
00:23:09.040 But this extra piece from Argentina, this is a long-term play.
00:23:14.220 And I know that it's hard for people who are ranchers and who are dealing with it this
00:23:19.100 day-to-day, but this is a long-term play for national security, because otherwise it's
00:23:24.560 not going to be Argentinian beef.
00:23:25.760 It's going to be China that owns everything.
00:23:27.960 So I'm looking at Venezuela, what's happening there, and I don't think that's about drug
00:23:35.180 running.
00:23:35.560 I mean, you know, it is about drug running, but it's not.
00:23:38.020 It's about, again, taking control of this hemisphere.
00:23:42.440 True or false?
00:23:43.500 Absolutely.
00:23:44.360 I mean, and this isn't even, you know, you or I guessing about this.
00:23:49.740 This has been a stated goal of the Trump administration.
00:23:53.300 One of the great things about the Trump administration is Trump, whether he intends to or not, is incredibly
00:23:58.600 transparent.
00:23:59.700 He will tell you what is coming.
00:24:01.400 He will tell you the things that he is going to do, even if they're couched in, you know,
00:24:05.880 a different wrapper.
00:24:07.220 You can look through that wrapper and see what that candy is on the inside.
00:24:11.120 And he tells us about that candy.
00:24:13.000 So he has been very clear that, you know, in addition to the commodities and the rarest
00:24:20.000 elements and all these things that are very plentiful in South America, we need to make
00:24:25.160 sure that we have within our allies control so that we can have access to.
00:24:29.480 You do not want China to have, you know, military relationships and other very strong relationships
00:24:37.560 within South America, because we know what that means long term for the United States.
00:24:42.880 How is Trump doing overall?
00:24:45.020 So I think overall, I think he's doing quite well, I think from a foreign policy perspective.
00:24:51.280 And I've said this during the last administration.
00:24:53.900 It's funny you think you think of him as a business guy.
00:24:56.860 But from a foreign policy perspective, he's been absolutely just killing it, crushing it.
00:25:03.120 He's been doing a great job in terms of securing the borders.
00:25:06.620 Obviously, we'd like to see more deportations, but they're certainly trying and have some roadblocks.
00:25:11.420 And I think from an economic standpoint, the fact that he has this long term lens, even
00:25:17.540 though some of the machinations I don't agree with, these are the important things.
00:25:22.920 I mean, this is finally an administration who goes, wait, our military stockpile is at risk
00:25:29.600 because we do not have the components and the supply chain to be able to make products.
00:25:35.160 We're dependent upon products from other countries and assume that they're going to sell us those
00:25:39.780 products so that we can have missiles to defend ourselves against them.
00:25:42.720 That doesn't make any sense.
00:25:44.840 So finally, we have people who are addressing the long term problems.
00:25:49.040 And I think the most important thing for our country right now is that we have the runway
00:25:52.900 because we cannot, you know, in three years or three and a half years, turn over the reins
00:25:58.700 to another set of people who want to undo all of this, who hate the United States, who want
00:26:04.360 to walk that back, we need people like President Trump, like the people he's developing, who
00:26:10.320 understand the long term issues that we face that have been built up over many years from
00:26:16.800 this broken fiscal foundation from both parties.
00:26:19.940 But that's where we are today.
00:26:21.420 And he is doing the hard work to try to fix that.
00:26:25.040 And it's not necessarily apparent to everyone who doesn't understand at this level, but it is so
00:26:31.280 critical for this very important reset that we're going to have.
00:26:36.280 So I know that you're not a fan of tariffs.
00:26:40.820 I'm not a fan of tariffs.
00:26:42.300 Correct.
00:26:42.800 However, the things that have been happening, the tariffs are not doing what everybody thought
00:26:49.920 they would do.
00:26:51.280 Why is that?
00:26:52.200 Well, I don't necessarily agree that they're not doing what people thought they would do.
00:26:58.220 I think that there's been a bit of overhype on how things are presented.
00:27:04.500 So do tariffs make it more expensive for businesses and consumers to buy certain goods and services?
00:27:11.840 Yes.
00:27:12.180 And that has happened.
00:27:13.300 And I've seen that with my own eyes, with my own company and joint venture partners and
00:27:17.440 other small businesses across the country.
00:27:19.260 There are small businesses that have had major burdens.
00:27:22.240 These are the things we thought would happen, and they are happening.
00:27:25.460 You know, in terms of creating runaway inflation, I don't think anybody said that at the levels
00:27:31.960 they are.
00:27:32.440 They said that when he kicked him up to 100 percent, which he walked back.
00:27:36.760 But we also know when you look at inflation data, that the way that that's calculated, there's a lot of picking
00:27:43.560 and choosing and substitutions.
00:27:45.820 So, of course, when you say, oh, well, if, you know, this particular product is being hit too much,
00:27:50.600 someone's going to substitute into this.
00:27:52.300 Of course, it's not going to show up in the same way in the numbers as it affects people in their day-to-day lives.
00:27:58.600 So, again, I think it's that nuanced understanding.
00:28:01.640 It's the same thing, you know, when people said, hey, why am I at the grocery store and everything's 30 percent higher
00:28:07.300 and they're telling us inflation under Biden is at, you know, 4 percent.
00:28:10.820 We know that that has to do with the calculation.
00:28:13.860 So I think that tariffs are causing some issues and some pain, and hopefully that can be sorted out in time.
00:28:22.100 But, you know, absent that particular strategy, I think other things that he's doing on the American front
00:28:29.360 to shore up our security from an economic and national security standpoint make a lot of sense.
00:28:35.500 And, Carol, I mean, I think a lot of people lose sight because it was just such a big issue.
00:28:39.860 You know, look, trade is important, but it is also not a huge part of our economy.
00:28:45.180 Am I right that it's, you know, imported goods are about 10 percent of our economies?
00:28:50.520 Does that number sound about right?
00:28:52.560 You know, it's a small percent.
00:28:54.740 I would want to go back and verify the number because I have so many things rolling around my head today.
00:28:59.400 And that's not one that's top of mind, but it's not a meaningful percent of our direct economy.
00:29:06.360 But where it does impact is that there's componentry that then flows through the economy.
00:29:12.460 It affects domestic goods and services.
00:29:14.380 So even if you're on a headline basis, it doesn't seem like it's that important, it can flow through the rest of the economy and create a drag and create some issues there.
00:29:25.920 You're listening to the best of Glenn Beck.
00:29:28.340 Need a little more?
00:29:29.340 Check out the full show podcast anywhere you download podcasts.
00:29:33.380 So when's the last time you just found yourself scrolling online, Stu?
00:29:38.800 It does happen to the best of us.
00:29:42.020 It does happen to the best.
00:29:42.920 And I did last night and I found myself in crazy town.
00:29:47.760 Quickly, crazy town.
00:29:50.040 My gosh, conspiracy after conspiracy after conspiracy.
00:29:54.420 It's like falling down a staircase made of madness.
00:29:59.040 Every step you're hitting, you're like,
00:30:00.460 I don't know if you know this, but Trump is secretly planning to run in 2028.
00:30:07.720 No, he's not.
00:30:09.280 He's trolling you.
00:30:10.400 What is wrong with you?
00:30:12.520 I don't know if you know this, but Eric, Erica Kirk is in league with Donald Trump and the Jews.
00:30:18.740 They killed, they killed Charlie Kirk.
00:30:21.840 Erica was behind it.
00:30:23.080 She knew she called off the police.
00:30:25.180 It's madness.
00:30:27.160 This is literal insanity.
00:30:29.520 You know, I, I was watching some of these things and I thought this is, I mean, this honestly is making the most alcohol fuel days of Alex Jones seem like Walter Cronkite's most credible moments.
00:30:42.380 What is happening?
00:30:47.340 It's because it's, it's everywhere.
00:30:49.480 It's everywhere.
00:30:51.180 And the bad news is some of it's being laundered by credible hosts.
00:30:55.960 I don't know if you saw the Robbie Starbucks story.
00:30:58.160 This one's horrible because this is what's coming.
00:31:00.400 Have you seen the Robbie Starbucks story?
00:31:01.760 So Rob, Robbie Starbuck, this story is one we should all learn from Robbie, an actual public figure, a husband, a father is now suing Google and Google AI because it fabricated entire stories about him for two solid years.
00:31:20.300 Now we've talked to him about this.
00:31:23.020 It invented fake police records.
00:31:26.140 It wrote fake timelines.
00:31:28.500 For two years, Google's artificial intelligence said he was on Jeffrey Epstein's list and had been arrested for unspeakable crimes and just made it all up.
00:31:39.900 No arrests, no real record, none of it, no truth to any of it, but just AI.
00:31:46.080 Why the machine that we're told is going to save us, made it all up and it was relentless.
00:31:58.560 Scroll up next, the death of Charlie Kirk, one of the most public executions in America.
00:32:04.700 We all saw the footage.
00:32:06.460 We all saw it.
00:32:07.740 We wish we could unsee it.
00:32:09.780 But within hours, the Internet had already decided it was the Jews.
00:32:14.960 He was in league with his own team and Israel was paying for it and covering up the truth.
00:32:23.300 Oh.
00:32:24.480 Now, you know what I love about this is, you know, most of the accounts are anonymous.
00:32:31.860 A source close.
00:32:33.980 Oh, who is that source?
00:32:35.460 An anonymous account.
00:32:41.160 A screenshot now of headlines that never existed.
00:32:46.240 And they, many of these things either began or ended with the phrase, if this is true, it means blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
00:32:56.460 Well, if it's true, I guess it changes everything.
00:33:02.740 If the sun is actually a giant light bulb and it's 25 miles in the sky, if that's true, then everything we know about space is wrong.
00:33:14.120 But it's not a light bulb 25 miles up in the sky.
00:33:20.080 Oh, that if, if, if is becoming the gateway.
00:33:28.200 It's the gateway drug to paranoia.
00:33:30.660 Okay.
00:33:30.840 Now, I have to tell you, there'll be many on the left who are like, I can't believe Glenn Beck, the chief conspiracy theorist, is out there saying about conspiracy.
00:33:43.480 I wasn't a conspiracy theorist.
00:33:47.380 Mine were based in facts, documents.
00:33:52.180 I would hold the document on the air.
00:33:55.180 Read it.
00:33:56.380 Read it for yourself.
00:33:57.660 Go to blah, blah, blah, dot gov and find it yourself.
00:34:04.500 I would show you the money trails, the real quotes from people saying, you know what I'm going to do?
00:34:11.500 If I ever get my way, I'm going to make sure this country is communist.
00:34:17.360 You know, if I ever get my way, I'm going to kill all those people.
00:34:20.400 I showed you those quotes.
00:34:22.680 Not, you know, if he said that, if that's true.
00:34:29.540 No.
00:34:30.640 I showed you what was true.
00:34:35.900 You start with what people actually are doing.
00:34:38.800 What, what you can prove.
00:34:41.220 Not, what if I told you.
00:34:44.060 Somebody says they're going to overthrow the West.
00:34:48.480 Believe them.
00:34:49.240 Take them at their word.
00:34:52.580 Let's start there.
00:34:53.620 Not with the, the missing piece, you know, the missing piece that, I don't know, if we could just find this piece, then it would all fit together, wouldn't it?
00:35:03.980 Yeah, well, it would.
00:35:04.960 Let me explain to you the danger of this and what you need to understand.
00:35:13.780 All of this is predictable.
00:35:16.100 In fact, I predicted it in about 2006.
00:35:20.960 And I used the moonshot as an example.
00:35:23.760 And I used George W. Bush and the lies of weapons of mass destruction as an example.
00:35:35.300 Because these things were not true, if our government doesn't start correcting these things, having people pay for the crimes of, I lied.
00:35:47.760 Yes, I lied.
00:35:48.680 I shouldn't have lied.
00:35:49.960 Maybe you go to jail for that lie.
00:35:51.540 But you at least pay a price for that lie.
00:35:55.240 And unless those things are cleared up, I said, right now, the, the number of people who believe we went to the moon is 93%.
00:36:04.060 7% don't believe we went to the moon.
00:36:07.860 You get 7% to believe just about anything.
00:36:11.580 But mark my words, if we don't correct that, you will see it in the number of people who no longer believe we went to the moon.
00:36:18.580 This is in 2006.
00:36:19.540 2006.
00:36:20.820 Have you met people who say, we never went to the moon.
00:36:23.980 We never went to the moon.
00:36:25.220 That was all a lie.
00:36:27.760 I met lots of them.
00:36:29.240 Lots of them.
00:36:29.820 And a lot of them, I think, I thought, that's a pretty intelligent person.
00:36:35.780 You know, I've been watching this thing on the internet.
00:36:37.920 Oh, really?
00:36:39.340 Really?
00:36:39.580 Really?
00:36:39.600 Anybody who gets their news from the internet is dumber than somebody who doesn't get their news from anywhere.
00:36:48.460 Just don't get news over than getting your news from the scrolling online.
00:36:59.340 I get all my news, you know, from Facebook.
00:37:02.460 I get everything I need to know from X.
00:37:04.360 Oh, really?
00:37:05.400 You're a moron.
00:37:09.800 Here's the problem.
00:37:10.680 Our government has lost all of its credibility.
00:37:14.000 Our institutions, their trust has evaporated.
00:37:18.860 And this madness is only going to grow.
00:37:22.080 Because if you no longer believe in anything, you will believe everything.
00:37:29.440 That's what's happening.
00:37:30.900 You can't argue with this stuff because you'll say, that didn't happen.
00:37:36.300 Wait, you mean that if Erica did it and the Jews did it, that means that Donald Trump is in on it.
00:37:44.040 That's right.
00:37:45.740 Oh, my.
00:37:46.800 Okay, your whole world has just fallen apart.
00:37:48.800 Everything that you thought you believed is gone now.
00:37:56.260 We are drowning in digital rumors because we stopped trusting our own ability to find what's real.
00:38:08.080 Let me ask you, and this is an honest question.
00:38:10.940 Is there a public voice that you trust today that will tell you it's not as bad as you think it is?
00:38:20.200 Is there anybody that you trust that is saying, you know what, don't go there.
00:38:28.460 Please don't go there.
00:38:29.500 Is there anybody that you trust that will say, you know what, I used to think this, but I don't think that anymore.
00:38:40.020 Because if they can't say that, then they're not a thinking human being.
00:38:43.880 If they're exactly the way they were 25 years ago, they are dead inside.
00:38:48.020 They're not searching for anything.
00:38:50.160 Because everything in the world has changed.
00:38:52.220 But that doesn't mean you throw everything.
00:38:59.060 We didn't go to the moon.
00:39:02.720 Yes, we did.
00:39:04.160 Yes, we did.
00:39:05.380 Yes, we did.
00:39:07.140 I don't trust the media.
00:39:08.560 I don't trust Congress.
00:39:09.660 I honestly don't trust the FBI.
00:39:11.700 I don't know who to trust.
00:39:13.480 I don't know who to trust.
00:39:15.440 And I'm not alone.
00:39:16.560 You're not alone.
00:39:17.200 According to Gallup, Trust in Newspapers has dropped 18%.
00:39:21.180 Who knew newspapers were even being printed?
00:39:23.740 Television news is at 14%.
00:39:26.840 That's an all-time low.
00:39:30.220 And when nobody believes anything, everyone starts believing everything and anyone.
00:39:35.320 People that you've never...
00:39:36.660 I know people who have listened to me for years.
00:39:40.280 I've trusted you for a long time.
00:39:42.020 But I just saw Bozo...
00:39:45.020 Bozo the Nose Clown.
00:39:48.880 You mean Bozo the Clown?
00:39:50.440 No.
00:39:51.200 Something entirely different.
00:39:52.640 I've never even heard of this guy.
00:39:53.980 But I heard him say this, and I believe him over you.
00:39:57.560 Really?
00:39:58.760 Bozo the Nose Clown?
00:40:00.940 You've never seen him before.
00:40:03.180 You don't know anything about him.
00:40:05.340 But somehow or another, he's earned your respect in that 47-second video that disproves to you, all my credibility is gone.
00:40:18.640 Who you've listened to for years.
00:40:21.440 Wow.
00:40:22.160 You're a thinking human being.
00:40:27.180 We are weeks.
00:40:29.520 I don't believe years.
00:40:30.760 We are weeks away.
00:40:33.340 Months.
00:40:33.940 Probably more accurate.
00:40:35.520 From you no longer being able to believe your eyes.
00:40:38.560 At all.
00:40:39.740 Okay?
00:40:40.160 That has always been the test.
00:40:41.980 I'll believe it when I see it.
00:40:43.240 Well, you're going to see deep fakes, and you're not going to know what to believe.
00:40:47.920 I mean, deep fakes already fake major newsrooms.
00:40:50.720 They're fools newsrooms.
00:40:52.640 Last year, the Pentagon had to issue a correction because a fake AI-generated explosion photo near the White House caused a brief dip in the stock market.
00:41:02.320 It wasn't true.
00:41:03.940 But act on it, act on it, act on it.
00:41:06.600 That's how fragile the truth has become.
00:41:08.760 And it's only going to get worse.
00:41:11.160 Some of the conspiracies that are floating around right now say that foreign money is infiltrating groups like Turning Point USA.
00:41:22.800 Maybe.
00:41:23.540 Could be.
00:41:24.440 Could be.
00:41:25.820 Wouldn't doubt it.
00:41:26.560 I think foreign money is trying to influence everything.
00:41:30.200 We're vulnerable right now.
00:41:32.000 But here's the question I don't hear anybody asking.
00:41:35.340 Is there any foreign money funding the conspiracy themselves?
00:41:42.500 Troll farms in St. Petersburg?
00:41:45.300 The Chinese bot networks amplifying division on both the left and the right?
00:41:49.980 I mean, we have the facts.
00:41:53.080 According to cybersecurity firm Recorded Future, Russia and China run coordinated campaigns every single day, pushing disinformation designed to make Americans hate each other.
00:42:04.960 Let me ask you this question.
00:42:06.680 Who benefits when we tear ourselves apart?
00:42:08.860 Who gains when we can't agree on anything, not even reality?
00:42:17.620 I'll give you a hint.
00:42:19.740 You don't win.
00:42:21.860 I don't win.
00:42:24.000 America doesn't win.
00:42:28.360 There's only one way to solve this that I can think of at this time.
00:42:33.740 Two.
00:42:34.660 You have to have the spirit with you.
00:42:36.320 You just have to have the spirit with you.
00:42:37.740 You have to have something that will testify to you of truth when you can't find it.
00:42:42.000 Okay?
00:42:42.740 Second thing is, know what you're for, not what you're against.
00:42:48.300 So many of these conspiracies are built on what you're against or you're supposed to be against.
00:42:56.060 Look for the things that you're for.
00:42:58.720 What is it that you're for?
00:43:00.720 Because when everything becomes a conspiracy, when everyone becomes the enemy, when every, if this is true, becomes your next truth, you're standing up against everything and you're not standing for anything.
00:43:14.720 You're standing for nothing.
00:43:15.780 And that's how civilizations fall.
00:43:19.420 How many people do you know that are standing for something, not against?
00:43:28.200 Civilizations fall not through invasion, but through infection.
00:43:31.760 Infection of the mind and the spirit and of the truth itself.
00:43:39.320 Know what you're for.
00:43:41.880 Before you share that next breaking post, you say, stop and ask yourself, who does this benefit?
00:43:52.020 Is this for something or against something?
00:43:55.420 Before you say, if this is true, stop yourself.
00:44:01.300 Who benefits if just I believe this?
00:44:06.580 Because the real conspiracy here, the one that is really sweeping America, the one our enemies, and I mean that spiritually and temporally, the real enemies of the truth.
00:44:20.020 The real conspiracy is the one that convinces you to stop believing in truth altogether.
00:44:29.300 And we are close to that.
00:44:34.200 Find the things that you know are true and build on those things.
00:44:40.140 It's really scary.
00:44:42.900 It's really scary.
00:44:44.280 But it is so freeing when you'll just clean out everything that you think you believe, but you haven't earned that yourself.
00:44:54.820 I started with religion.
00:44:57.040 I was taught.
00:44:58.660 I listened to other people.
00:45:00.420 I didn't find God myself.
00:45:02.940 I didn't search myself.
00:45:04.560 It was taught to me.
00:45:05.720 Well, you can't live on somebody else's testimony.
00:45:08.440 Is your testimony of this country, is your testimony of why you believe in the free market system, if you do, or why you believe in Marxism, because you've torn it apart, because you've looked at it from all sides?
00:45:23.900 Most likely not.
00:45:25.780 But that's the only way you can actually defend something.
00:45:29.620 Otherwise, you're just going to be blowing in the wind.
00:45:32.340 And that's what's happening.
00:45:33.660 We're all blowing in the wind.
00:45:34.880 And what was true today, suddenly, because bozo the nose is on, all of a sudden, nope, I don't believe any of that stuff anymore.
00:45:45.460 Because there's something in you that tells you you're being lied to.
00:45:49.520 And you are being lied to.
00:45:52.020 You are.
00:45:54.540 But go deeper.
00:45:57.560 Look for the things that are true.
00:45:59.900 You cannot find the truth if you don't have some sort of rock you're standing on.
00:46:06.540 You will be blown apart and lost at sea.
00:46:10.260 Find the rock first and build on that rock.
00:46:15.740 Then you can go online and go, that's true.
00:46:18.760 That's not true.
00:46:19.640 That's true.
00:46:20.320 That I should investigate some more.
00:46:22.260 There's lots of things that I don't believe are true that I'm investigating.
00:46:26.720 I want to know.
00:46:27.500 But you can't do it if you don't know who you are and what anchors you.
00:46:36.240 Please, anchor yourself and then anchor your family.
