01:13:10.580 Like, Reddit will be, someone will ask a question and then someone who might have expertise in the area will jump in and say, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

01:13:18.840 And they'll come out with an explanation, their explanation.

01:13:21.480 And a lot of times it's right.

01:13:22.480 You can get real information and real expertise from people on Reddit.

01:13:25.680 However, you also get people who are playing expert and you have people who are making things up of their own experience or whatever.

01:13:31.860 And now, importantly, now you have people and bots who are answering that question with AI and posting the answer on Reddit.

01:13:43.820 So, when Reddit looks for an answer, they are from, when AI looks for an answer, they're looking to Reddit and finding answers that have been pasted from AI.

01:13:54.600 And you're going to get these truths in a circuitous form that just go on and on and on and build on lies and build on lies and build on lies and build on lies and build on lies.

01:14:05.140 And that's why something like what you're doing here, I think, is really important to make sure all that stuff stays out.

01:14:10.060 So, eventually, and I don't know when this will happen because compute is so expensive right now.

01:14:16.300 Just to be able to open this up and say, even, you know, a million people can have access to this.

01:32:50.500 maybe six or eight months ago when he first got into office and i asked him i said

01:33:59.560 think actually the u.s army has been a really has done a fantastic job of cutting uh these projects

01:34:48.520 to ukraine uh and fight and support the ukrainians and he brought his sniper rifle thinking he was going

01:34:54.280 to get to snipe russians and he said the very first operation i went on i was i was talking to him

01:34:59.100 about this he's like we went into a a bunker and it was rocketed and drone strikes within the first 30

01:35:06.460 minutes of us entering that bunker he's like i sat in that bunker for five days because i was i was

01:35:11.600 about to peek my head out he's like in 200 drones were overhead um and so a lot of that is done

01:35:17.840 manually today uh and at large scale manually fpv drones these types of things that you see

01:35:24.100 loitering munitions going on uh in the future it is just hyper accelerated by ai and autonomy uh to

01:35:30.520 the point where it is it's there it's how smart your drones are and how many you can produce that's

01:35:36.280 that's the name of the game it's terrifying you know i read a book maybe 10 years ago really great

01:35:41.400 book um and there was this war scene it's all about ai and uh there was this war scene at the very

01:35:47.740 beginning of the chapter um the president's council walks into the oval offices has opened the door and

01:35:54.040 they say mr president there's a dot dot dot and then it explains the war that is happening and it's

01:36:01.580 i mean it is engagement that is happening so rapidly and so uh completely and the war is solved quickly

01:36:11.000 this battle is solved quickly and then it's it talks about what happened on the battle the battlefront

01:36:16.680 and then it says dot dot dot developing in chicago all of that happened that fast now i know that's

01:36:24.480 dramatic license but with hive minds and everything else it is going to happen in a way that we cannot

01:36:31.980 fathom correct i i think we can see where it's going in in that sense but yes it's going to be

01:36:38.880 hyper accelerated um it is uh look i've always been of the belief that you know uh peace comes through

01:36:45.900 strength uh we need the american warfighter we need our allies to have the most dominant

01:38:06.360 see today and what you're going to see in the future is far less people involved far more uh ai

01:38:47.140 number of times working closely uh with their military with their government i think first and foremost

01:38:51.980 they're taking it very very seriously uh i think ukraine russia was a wake-up call uh and uh a lot of

01:38:59.480 people didn't think that there was going to be state on state major conflict and they saw russia

01:39:04.840 ukraine taiwan exactly i don't mean i mean it's a hundred percent you know it's been gone on for

01:39:09.760 hundreds hundreds of years we're all gonna line up in a line yeah yeah not yet um so they're taking

01:39:16.720 it seriously they're mobilizing against it they're increasing their military budget you know from three

01:39:21.560 you know to three percent gdp to five percent of gdp uh there is a massive uh build up in their

01:39:27.820 capabilities and i think they're being very thoughtful about it understanding the importance

01:39:31.800 of operating without gps without communications with ai uh the importance of not only uh targeting

01:39:38.740 and uh intelligence uh surveillance and reconnaissance but also uh you know counter counter missile

01:39:45.280 counter drone uh is something they're investing in also is china ahead of us uh china is not ahead of

01:39:52.080 us on ai and autonomy they are ahead of us on industrial production capability because they

01:39:57.740 i mean you see some of their drone shows even you know they're just doing nighttime drone shows and

01:40:02.280 there's like a million of them in the sky they are people and look even those drone shows while i

01:40:09.260 wouldn't say they're scripted pre-scripted drone shows but the fact that they're putting thousands of

01:40:14.240 drones up in the air is just getting that muscle memory down in terms of what it's like to are we

01:40:21.240 anywhere close to that do we have anybody is not it does not have the muscle memory of putting

01:40:27.220 thousands of these small systems up in the air now where the united states stands you know is still

01:40:33.200 premier today is our strategic capabilities our ability to jointly maneuver jointly collect intelligence

01:40:40.060 we still have a number of strategic capabilities at our hand that like that china has not caught up to

01:40:45.960 that make it a very very difficult problem for china as well so is there anybody ahead of us
