00:01:21.960 Here's the podcast.

00:01:23.300 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:01:37.340 Let me give you let me give you a really great outline.

00:01:41.080 This is coming from the Wall Street Journal and Kimberly Strassel.

00:01:46.320 She says the newest Federal Bureau of Investigation documents in the case of former White House National Security Advisor Michael Flynn are stunning.

00:01:53.300 In themselves.

00:01:54.300 But the totality of Mr. Flynn's treatment shocks the conscience.

00:02:00.300 Mr. Flynn in 2017 pleaded guilty to a single count of lying to FBI agents about conversations he had with the Russian ambassador to the U.S.

00:02:09.680 Thanks to new documents, the feds belatedly turned over to his attorneys.

00:02:14.280 We know now the FBI engineered this crime.

00:02:18.680 Handwritten notes from former FBI counterintelligence head Bill Priestap made before the Bureau's interview of Flynn asked the following.

00:02:28.540 What is our goal here?

00:02:30.540 Truth, admission, or to get him to lie so we can prosecute him or get him fired?

00:02:36.540 One of the frustrations, Kimberly Strassel writes, of the Trump-Russia collusion narrative is the evidence of law enforcement's abuse of power keeps emerging in dribs and drabs.

00:02:47.900 To grasp the outrageous conduct fully, the Flynn documents need to be added to what we already know.

00:02:55.560 The overall evidence paints a scandalous picture.

00:02:59.620 Having labored and abysmally failed in 2016 to build a case that Mr. Flynn was an agent of the Russians,

00:03:06.580 the FBI and the Justice Department changed gears, rifling through his communications, inventing a fake crime, and entrapping him on a lying charge.

00:03:17.440 Now, I want to go through, and tonight, do not miss tonight's show.

00:03:22.380 Tonight's show is at the chalkboard.

00:03:24.140 I'm coming in because I need the chalkboard to explain this to you.

00:03:27.600 When you understand what is really happening, it blows the lid off of the deep state, and it goes all the way to Barack Obama.

00:03:38.260 Barack Obama is the chief architect of this, and there is documentation to prove it.

00:03:48.600 We now know. 0.95

00:03:49.300 This is why Barack Obama came out so quickly last week and was like, this is ridiculous.

00:03:55.420 The rule of law is at stake.

00:03:57.160 Yeah, the rule of law is at stake, and that's why we should pursue this.

00:04:02.680 This overturns not only Barack Obama, overturns Brennan and Yates, Samantha Power, maybe even Joe Biden, definitely Barack Obama.

00:04:19.180 It overturns the intelligence, deep state.

00:04:22.820 It overturns Adam Schiff and everything that was happening in Washington and the media.

00:04:29.500 This is the whole ball of wax.

00:04:31.920 Now, this is coming together now with these FBI documents.

00:04:39.740 They were closing the Flynn case, and this is really important.

00:04:43.640 On January 4th, the FBI's Crossfire Hurricane team spent 2016 checking all the databases for derogatory information on Flynn.

00:04:54.020 They ran down every accusation that he had ties to the Russians.

00:04:58.960 They struck out.

00:05:00.380 In fact, Brennan was getting information from the Russians that showed this is absolutely wrong, and he held back all of that information.

00:05:12.780 So they struck out completely.

00:05:16.120 Then, on January 4th, Peter Strzok sent a text message saying, hey, if you haven't closed the Flynn case, don't do so yet.

00:05:26.160 Seventh floor involved.

00:05:28.780 Seventh floor is the brass of the FBI.

00:05:32.240 So now, something happened.

00:05:35.000 So, wait a minute.

00:05:36.180 The day before, they are closing the case.

00:05:42.680 Then, Peter Strzok says, hey, by the way, some new information.

00:05:47.600 We don't want to close the case yet.

00:05:51.320 Okay, so what was the new information?

00:05:53.800 Well, the new information was that Barack Obama had gotten involved.

00:05:59.460 The Obama administration superseded all of the stuff from the FBI, and they were starting to unmask Flynn.

00:06:14.180 Now, I want to go through unmasking because they did this over and over again, and this is how the media was involved.

00:06:21.000 You know, the media, they are co-conspirators in this.

00:06:25.820 Whether they know it or not, I mean, Cheryl Atkinson said that some of them probably were blackmailed into some of this stuff, perhaps.

00:06:34.740 She said, because I know they were wiretapping the lines of some reporters.

00:06:40.920 But others are going around, I think, gladly doing it.

00:06:44.880 But I think Yesikov is one of those guys that, whether he knows he's being used or not, he may be, you know, the kind thing to say is he just believes in the people that are giving him information.

00:06:57.140 He believes they're accurate.

00:06:58.340 And so he just runs with it.

00:07:00.520 But this is against the law.

00:07:03.020 Now, what is unmasking?

00:07:03.880 Unmasking, and this is really important for you to understand if you're going to watch tonight's show or if you want to understand what's happening, what has happened to Donald Trump and the administration and how dangerous our government has gotten when it comes to any U.S. citizen.

00:07:20.200 When somebody is wiretapped or we come across an American, no matter where they live in the world, if they are, if they are either being investigated themselves and are being wiretapped or they are just an extra person, you know, that just happened to cross paths and is part of this wiretap now because they're calling in.

00:07:42.760 Those names always have to be masked, and it's for your protection.

00:07:49.220 If they unmask your name and it gets out, all of a sudden you look like you're somebody involved in some big international scheme.

00:07:58.340 Because remember, the intelligence department cannot wiretap in the United States.

00:08:05.400 Uh-huh.

00:08:06.080 They can't do that.

00:08:07.660 They have to only do, they're looking for foreign problems. 0.99

00:08:11.200 So, Flynn is talking to foreign nationals all over the country so they can wiretap him to see who he's talking to.

00:08:21.580 But just because they suspect something, you don't ever want to say the name of that individual because that will make them look guilty.

00:08:32.980 And it starts to build in people's minds.

00:08:35.880 Oh, wait a minute.

00:08:36.440 He's trouble.

00:08:37.160 He might be trouble.

00:08:37.920 So, we never unmask.

00:08:40.960 Now, we never unmask and release the information to the press, leak the information to the press.

00:08:48.360 I should say it that way.

00:08:49.300 We unmask all the time.

00:08:51.540 But here's how it happens.

00:08:53.140 Let's say you're a senator and you are going to deal with someone in, let's say, England, and you don't know there's something, an investigation going on around something in this area.

00:09:08.700 And so, you call National Security Advisor and you say, hey, I'm going to talk to this person.

00:09:14.300 Can you tell me, are they involved at all in this?

00:09:16.800 Then they have to get permission to unmask if that name is involved.

00:09:20.520 If it is, then they give that name to the senator and they say, yes, he is involved in this, so be very careful.

00:09:26.460 Great.

00:09:27.060 That senator cannot take that name and do anything with it.

00:09:30.760 That is for his information only for a very specific reason.

00:09:35.740 You cannot unmask them and then go, did you guys know that this guy over here, he's involved and he's being wiretapped right now.

00:09:43.140 You can't do that.

00:09:45.780 That is a felony.

00:09:47.760 If you leak it, it's a felony.

00:09:51.440 And I believe the minimum is five years in prison.

00:09:54.560 Well, it looks like that's what was happening all over the board.

00:09:59.940 They were unmasking names and then using that to leak it.

00:10:04.320 Ben Rhodes looks like he was doing it.

00:10:06.640 Samantha Power at the UN, she unmasked hundreds of names.

00:10:11.160 Apparently, she denies all of it, but the documents will show it.

00:10:15.520 But these documents now included an email from the FBI lawyer, Lisa Page, as well.

00:10:23.340 And she was debating ways for the Bureau to get around its standard of formal admonition against lying.

00:10:32.080 So she was, what they were trying to do was coax Flynn into lying about something that was at odds with the transcript that they had.

00:10:42.780 Now, they the documents now show they tried to get him to not bring his attorney.

00:10:48.980 He knew that they had nothing on them and he knew that the FBI was closing the case.

00:10:54.700 And they said, we just want to have one more quick conversation about something.

00:10:57.300 But it was a total setup.

00:10:58.860 And we have all the documentation and they we have the documentation that they were trying to get him there without an attorney.

00:11:05.420 Just let his guard down.

00:11:08.060 We're going to ask him about some transcripts, blah, blah, blah.

00:11:10.620 So they asked him about his phone call.

00:11:12.740 He talked about the phone call.

00:11:13.940 And in it, he said, I'm not sure if my recollection is correct.

00:11:17.780 I don't know.

00:11:18.900 I don't I don't have the transcript of the phone call.

00:11:21.800 You apparently do.

00:11:23.460 Well, he said something in there and it looked like he lied about it.

00:11:28.840 So then they went after and they applied pressure and said, we're going to we're going to get your son.

00:11:34.220 We're going to drag you through the mud. 0.99

00:11:36.040 We're going to destroy you. 0.66

00:11:37.040 It was his son that was the final the final breaking point, which is why Donald, which is why Joe Biden is so dangerous as a president. 0.99

00:11:48.080 His son is dirty and we already know that he'll do anything to protect his son and his family. 0.91

00:11:57.000 You can't have that kind of skeleton in a closet. 0.97

00:12:01.420 So anyway, he was protecting his son.

00:12:04.160 He admitted to lying to the FBI, but it was in that particular case where they were trying to set him up and entrap him.

00:12:13.020 Um, so probably the the most damning of this is that the FBI didn't have a problem at all that Flynn was not colluding with Russia.

00:12:31.460 Everything they opened this case for, that's not what they got him for.

00:12:36.040 They didn't get him for any of that.

00:12:37.700 And they were closing the case and then Obama opened the case and he had a meeting where all of the principles of his cabinet were there.

00:12:49.040 This is kind of kind of a big deal, kind of a big deal.

00:12:55.120 He not only he not only knew Rand Paul said yesterday, I completely believe that not only did he know and others have already said that he knew about the conversation and we have we have the official under oath transcripts of that.

00:13:10.520 Now he knew about trying to go after General Flynn and it was being directed from the White House.

00:13:16.380 I have every expectation that President Obama is in the middle of this.

00:13:21.640 I strongly believe that President Obama gave specific and direct oversight and direct permission for this.

00:13:28.100 Think about that.

00:13:29.680 The media have treated President Obama with kid gloves.

00:13:33.460 Someone needs to ask him directly.

00:13:35.260 Did you approve of Operation Crossfire Hurricane?

00:13:38.700 I believe, said Rand Paul, the answer is yes.

00:13:41.960 If you want to know what Obamagate is all about, you'll see it tonight.

00:13:49.160 We're going to lay it out on the chalkboard.

00:16:03.500 All right.

00:16:03.800 We're going to be joined with Laura Logan.

00:16:06.860 She's getting up on Skype if you happen to be watching us on Blaze TV.

00:16:09.980 It's amazing.

00:16:13.360 Three journalists out of the five that I trust more than anyone else.

00:16:19.240 Cheryl Atkinson, Laura Logan are the two best journalists, I think,

00:16:24.860 out there for investigative journalism.

00:16:26.840 And the one I trust to do interviews and actually ask all the right questions

00:16:32.400 is Megyn Kelly.

00:16:33.260 We've had all three of those on here in the last 24 hours.

00:16:38.560 Laura is amazing because she is like a bloodhound. 1.00

00:16:43.700 I mean, she was with 60 Minutes, and you don't get to be on 60 Minutes 0.98

00:16:46.560 if you're a chump. 0.99

00:16:48.400 And she was with 60 Minutes, and she just will not. 0.99

00:16:52.480 But you give her a bone, and she just will chew and chew and chew 1.00

00:16:56.040 and chew and chew on it.

00:16:57.560 And she is, as I am, wildly concerned about what is happening

00:17:05.520 with what is called now Obamagate.

00:17:08.260 It looks as though President Obama, according to documents

00:17:12.440 that have now just been released, President Obama ordered up

00:17:16.520 the Russiagate scandal.

00:17:19.060 This was built by him.

00:17:23.940 We're not sure if it was just to get rid of Flynn, which he didn't like.

00:17:27.820 My guess is it's both, or just discredit Donald Trump.

00:17:33.680 Again, I think both of those were there.

00:17:37.080 Flynn is a guy who knew where all of the bodies were buried.

00:17:40.320 And there was a lot of bodies with President Obama.

00:17:44.040 And I remember saying in 2008, because this guy is being allowed by the press

00:17:48.820 to run unchecked, when he leaves office, there will be a scandal

00:17:52.640 with him at the head of it that will dwarf Watergate.

00:17:57.200 I think this may be it.

00:17:59.860 Laura Logan joins us now.

00:18:01.580 Hi, Laura.

00:18:02.040 How are you?

00:18:02.960 I am good, Glenn.

00:18:07.680 I'm great.

00:18:09.320 How are you?

00:18:11.320 I'm good.

00:18:12.060 I know this has been a little hectic this morning to get you on to Skype,

00:18:15.860 but I appreciate you joining us via Skype.

00:18:19.740 Tell me, you know, last night, you and one of our producers were talking,

00:18:24.900 and you are so passionate about this because you've read all the documents,

00:18:32.420 as have I and my staff, and most people haven't.

00:18:36.820 Tell me your overall view, and then we'll get into specifics.

00:18:41.500 What's happening?

00:18:43.700 I think the most important thing to me that I took away from reading the document,

00:18:48.360 something that I sort of had a hunch about from the very beginning,

00:18:51.800 but now, you know, what's so frustrating is we don't know what we don't know, right?

00:18:56.420 We don't have access to all of this information,

00:18:58.480 and there's still a lot of information that's going to come out.

00:19:01.960 So when you finally get some of these documents

00:19:04.920 and the pieces of the puzzle start to fall into place,

00:19:08.600 what you realize is that as much as I really do respect Mike Flynn,

00:19:13.940 as much as I know from a personal perspective what it's like to be targeted

00:19:20.300 and destroyed publicly, especially when it's unjust,

00:19:24.660 the most significant thing for anyone to understand is that this isn't about Mike Flynn,

00:19:29.520 and it never was about Mike Flynn, and it's not just about Donald Trump.

00:19:34.080 If you take, you know, what they want you to do is they want you to get into a fight

00:19:38.140 about whether or not Donald Trump is a good guy or a bad guy.

00:19:41.620 That's the political trap.

00:19:43.380 Is this about Donald Trump?

00:19:44.760 Should he ever have been elected?

00:19:46.440 You know, they want you to have those conversations.

00:19:48.380 Here's the conversation they don't want you to have.

00:19:52.920 There was an attempted coup to unseat a duly elected president of the United States.

00:20:00.140 Michael Flynn was just the first casualty.

00:20:03.140 He wasn't even the most important casualty,

00:20:05.580 and Donald Trump is not the most important thing here.

00:20:08.840 It is about the fact that in the United States of America,

00:20:12.360 something that I could never in a million years have imagined that I would see here in this country

00:20:19.060 that is for everyone in the world, it doesn't matter what party you come from.

00:20:24.280 I grew up on the other side of the world.

00:20:26.920 This country is a beacon of light for anyone who believes in freedom

00:20:32.140 and who really believes in the rule of law.

00:20:35.620 That's what this country is.

00:20:36.920 That's what separates the United States from many other places on earth,

00:20:42.300 is this ideal of freedom and what we do to protect it.

00:20:46.400 And the Constitution, that entire document is written to protect that freedom.

00:20:53.660 The rule of law exists to protect that freedom.

00:20:57.100 And all the rights that flow from that.

00:21:00.300 Accountability, the First Amendment, it's there to protect the freedom.

00:21:05.200 And that is what is at risk here.

00:21:08.080 This is about absolute power.

00:21:10.380 People who wanted to take power away from those who exercised their rights

00:21:16.040 and to install a government that they wanted and not to let it go.

00:21:21.300 They're not planning on letting it go.

00:21:23.220 And they will do anything to get it.

00:21:25.280 So, Lara, let me back up here because I want to make sure that we're on the same page.

00:21:35.160 When you say it was an attempted coup, the way I read this is that Obama put certain people

00:21:43.400 in intelligence, in justice, in the State Department.

00:21:48.180 We saw this with our investigation that we did on Joe Biden in Ukraine.

00:21:53.100 And they were running things the way they wanted.

00:21:57.420 And he tried to put some people into place that would become institutional,

00:22:07.840 that could run without the presidency. 0.88

00:22:11.000 And so things would just never change.

00:22:12.880 Their goals of the Obama administration would just continue to run as a program underneath.

00:22:18.400 And that's what they didn't want stopped.

00:22:21.600 Would you agree with that?

00:22:22.560 It wasn't just the Obama administration.

00:22:25.660 I mean, you are not wrong in terms of the concept and the principle.

00:22:29.920 The principle was to take the lifelong bureaucrat that work in all of these departments,

00:22:36.480 to take that fundamental kind of foundation of our civil service and our institutions like law enforcement

00:22:44.600 and like intelligence, and to corrupt them at their heart.

00:22:48.860 That's what the point was.

00:22:49.940 What does the left do historically?

00:22:52.140 They infiltrate.

00:22:53.660 They infiltrate and they own it from the ground up, right?

00:22:58.040 And so that's the principle of what they were doing.

00:23:01.000 But when you have five career bureaucrats from the Federal Bureau of Investigation were asked by Rod Rosenstein to wear a wire

00:23:11.720 when they went into the Oval Office to meet with the President of the United States to be interviewed for Comey's job.

00:23:18.140 And all five of those bureaucrats, knowing that that was wrong and probably illegal, i.e. called entrapment, they all agreed.

00:23:27.660 That tells you they're all on the team in one way or another.

00:23:32.200 And the thing is, Glenn, you know this, right?

00:23:34.860 You don't have to own every single heart and soul within an institution.

00:23:40.180 You just have to have enough people there that are on your team to create a culture and an environment in which everyone is afraid to speak up.

00:23:51.000 And the consequences of speaking up, the price that you're going to pay isn't worth it.

00:23:56.080 So then what happens is you have people who bought into the idea that Hillary Clinton was going to be the next President of the United States,

00:24:03.820 and they didn't want to be on the wrong side of that, i.e. the email investigation.

00:24:07.780 So, yes, on the one hand, they want to stand up for the rule of law.

00:24:11.100 But on the other hand, their bosses, the people with real power inside the FBI, not like just power on paper,

00:24:19.520 the people with real power, because you're looking at counterintelligence and you're looking at the upper echelons of the FBI,

00:24:25.740 McComey, McCabe, et cetera.

00:24:27.520 These people are telling you which direction to take.

00:24:30.280 They are literally departing from the norms of investigative procedure and from the law, right?

00:24:38.120 And they're saying to you, wait a minute, this is what we're going to do here.

00:24:41.760 So the signal is sent loud and clear.

00:24:45.380 And moving on from that, you now have a whole lot of people who are complicit in the crime and in the cover-up,

00:24:54.820 because they now have a vested interest in making sure that none of this stuff comes to light.

00:25:01.060 So you don't know, we don't know at this point, who is 100% on the team, who is an operative,

00:25:06.800 and who is the person who just, you know, was sympathetic.

00:25:10.240 Like there are many journalists who, you know, are, I've said it openly.

00:25:14.660 I didn't even think it was a revelation, because everybody knows that most journalists are on the left

00:25:20.200 or are Democrats or whatever you want.

00:25:21.840 But that's the natural condition that was exploited by political operatives and propagandists

00:25:28.440 and the architects of this coup in order to get out the message and steer the conversation in the directions.

00:25:35.400 So now you have journalists who are committed to this lie because they've gotten the Pulitzer Prize for it.

00:25:40.860 And they want to believe it's true.

00:25:43.040 And they're digging in because they stand to lose personally.

00:25:46.300 And if they admit that they were, you know, complicit in basically a cover-up of a crime.

00:25:54.720 And so you've got, it becomes self-reinforcing.

00:25:58.540 You don't have to own every person.

00:26:00.140 Then add the number of journalists who are going to say, whoa, right?

00:26:04.040 I mean, everyone believes this is true.

00:26:06.020 So it must be true.

00:26:07.060 And they just look for the pieces of information, and they go to the same players.

00:26:12.260 They go back to Adam Schiff.

00:26:13.480 They go back to, you know, to Clapper.

00:26:15.620 They go back to Brennan.

00:26:16.880 They go back to the same people who are part of the crime.

00:26:20.400 And they use them to vindicate and validate themselves.

00:26:23.940 I mean, like, letting Obama write an editorial.

00:26:26.540 You're not asking him a question.

00:26:28.320 You're not doing an interview with him.

00:26:30.640 You're not holding him to account for what it is that he is doing, right?

00:26:35.520 You're not doing any of that.

00:26:37.020 You're actually just giving him a platform to do a call to action for everyone who is on the team.

00:26:43.540 That's what that was about.

00:26:44.880 I mean, the man couldn't even articulate a real defense.

00:26:48.740 He didn't say, this is about the rule of law.

00:26:51.200 Listen to his words.

00:26:51.960 He's like, well, I'm concerned that what this is about is that somehow our concept of what the rule of law here is going to be.

00:26:59.260 What?

00:27:00.280 What did you just say?

00:27:01.860 You can't even repeat the lie at this point, you know, in the way that you or I would.

00:27:07.820 You and I both know we're not complicit in this, right?

00:27:10.560 So how would we handle it?

00:27:11.940 What would we do?

00:27:12.880 We would do exactly what I'm doing right now.

00:27:14.840 We would say, this is about the rule of law.

00:27:17.660 Look at the facts and look at the evidence.

00:27:20.360 We wouldn't mount some kind of BS defense, right?

00:27:23.840 And use, by the way, the same tactic, trial by media.

00:27:27.340 It has to stop, Glenn.

00:27:29.500 We cannot do this any longer to ourselves, all of us.

00:27:33.100 It has to stop no more convicting people in the press without due process in order to subvert the legal process.

00:27:41.720 So I want to let me take a break for a minute and then I'm going to come back to you because that gets into what we now know.

00:27:48.360 And these documents that are just strangely just now coming out that shows that they knew that they were just trying them in the in the press.

00:27:59.380 They were unmasking people and leaking names and knowingly putting false information out there in the press to to do trial by the press.

00:28:12.180 And I'm wondering if you could take us through a little bit of that as far as your understanding, what you think the highlights are and and is anyone going to pay for this?

00:28:20.520 Because this is we just did a poll at the blaze.

00:28:24.220 With all of this evidence coming out, do you think what are the most likely outcomes?

00:28:29.020 I think it was 60 percent of blaze viewers said nothing, nothing will happen because of this.

00:28:35.740 And that cannot happen in this particular case.

00:28:39.520 This changes us.

00:28:41.560 We know this information.

00:28:43.100 And if it's swept under the rug, it will forever change us.

00:28:49.240 The best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:28:51.160 Hey, it's Glenn.

00:28:58.660 And you're listening to the Glenn Beck program.

00:29:00.660 If you like what you're hearing on this show, make sure you check out Pat Gray Unleashed.

00:29:05.100 It's available wherever you download your favorite podcasts.

00:29:09.100 Hello, America.

00:29:09.840 Welcome to Wednesday.

00:29:11.020 Huge show on tonight.

00:29:12.240 If you want to understand what is going on tonight with Flynn and the deep state, we take it all on.

00:29:19.000 It's the first show I'm doing.

00:29:20.220 I mean, this is the first time I got up in the morning.

00:29:22.320 I went, my socks match my pants.

00:29:25.180 I mean, I haven't dressed to go out anywhere except Home Depot. 0.96

00:29:29.080 And I don't give a flying crap what I look there for for two months. 0.93

00:29:33.940 It was weird getting dressed this morning. 0.97

00:29:35.780 But I'm going into the studios because tonight we have a huge, huge special that you really need to watch.

00:29:42.340 Pat Gray is with us now.

00:29:43.760 We were just talking off air about Fauci and his testimony yesterday.

00:29:48.400 Um, and, and how the media worships this guy.

00:29:53.820 Yeah.

00:29:54.260 Instead of building a golden calf, they're going to build a golden Fauci pretty soon.

00:29:59.260 And, uh, we're just fall down and worship there.

00:30:02.360 I, I have to tell you, Pat, two days ago I was, uh, uh, you know, I've been doing these masked paintings, uh, and I thought, you know, I should do a golden calf, you know, right on the side of Mount Sinai, do a golden calf with the face of Fauci.

00:30:20.420 Oh, that's amazing.

00:30:22.260 Because that's exactly what's happening.

00:30:24.620 Yes, it is.

00:30:25.380 They, they, they, they look at him and this is really important.

00:30:29.800 You don't have to be against Fauci.

00:30:32.140 You have to understand that his job is to tell the president, don't do it because of health.

00:30:39.160 Don't do it because of health.

00:30:40.640 There's somebody else in the room that is, their job is to say, Mr. President, you can't keep doing this because of the economy.

00:30:49.200 So you've got, you know, like I want somebody in the war room when the president, you know, somebody says, Hey, we should go to war with China.

00:30:57.140 I want somebody in the war room that says, here's how we do it.

00:31:01.080 And we've got the plan and here's how we do it.

00:31:03.500 And these are what, this is what we're going to need.

00:31:05.260 And this is our path to victory.

00:31:07.020 Then I want somebody else that says, no, Mr. President, if any of those things go wrong, this is what it will look like.

00:31:14.040 Then I want somebody else to say, Mr. President, foreign relations either demands that we do this or demands that we don't do this.

00:31:22.720 And then the president decides Fauci is only one voice, an important voice, but one voice.

00:31:29.820 And the press just treats it when they say we can stay closed for a year or more.

00:31:36.100 They're insane.

00:31:37.680 Yeah. 0.98

00:31:38.660 And I agree with all that.

00:31:40.520 But it's really troubling to me that the left just takes what he says right to the bank as if everything out of his mouth is the absolute gospel.

00:31:52.240 And it's it's not there's a lot of medical experts that are that are disputing what he has to say and are saying we're going about this the exact wrong way.

00:32:02.860 What's happening with the Atlantic?

00:32:05.280 The Atlantic published a story about, gee, maybe herd mentality is the way to go.

00:32:10.780 That just happened.

00:32:11.740 Herd immunity.

00:32:12.440 There was.

00:32:13.040 Yeah.

00:32:13.740 Yeah.

00:32:14.060 I keep doing the same thing.

00:32:15.400 Herd and mentality go together so often and herd immunity.

00:32:19.640 They do.

00:32:20.020 So, yeah, so the herd immunity may be the way there are people that are now saying, hey, maybe we should listen to the other advice.

00:32:28.680 The deal is we don't know at this point.

00:32:31.800 So we should be listening to all points of view.

00:32:35.360 But nobody wants to do that right now.

00:32:37.680 But we should be listening.

00:32:39.340 You know, there was a great thing that Rand Paul said yesterday when he was bringing up children.

00:32:44.580 The death rate is almost at zero for children.

00:32:48.320 Yeah.

00:32:48.440 Almost at zero.

00:32:49.380 So why are we closing the schools next year?

00:32:54.520 It's a great question.

00:32:55.600 Under 18, it's damn near zero. 0.55

00:32:58.160 I know there was one university that just announced they're not going to do a fall semester on campus.

00:33:02.720 Oh, it was the whole Cal State University system.

00:33:05.060 Yeah.

00:33:05.520 Yeah.

00:33:05.840 But I will be very surprised if they don't open these schools, the regular, especially normal schools up.

00:33:12.640 I mean, unless we have some massive, you know, crazy flare up that's not expected.

00:33:17.760 That is like you got to do school in the fall, right?

00:33:20.340 Yeah.

00:33:20.480 And that was questionable in the first place.

00:33:22.040 A lot of experts disagreed on – there's like legitimate disagreement in the scientific community as to whether it was a good idea to close schools or not.

00:33:30.140 Like, I mean, obviously to help the disease, giving everyone stay at home and, you know, in bubbles is going to help spread the disease.

00:33:36.640 It's just not an actual thing you can do to society.

00:33:39.860 But there's a question as to whether even there's any benefit at all of keeping kids away from schools.

00:33:45.880 There's a study I know in Iceland that just came out that said that they had no cases, no cases whatsoever that went from child to adult.

00:33:53.720 It's Iceland.

00:33:54.720 It's a small – you know, it's only a sample.

00:33:56.860 But it does not seem like it's common at all.

00:33:58.980 But we have some pretty good indicators of what happens when you go back to business as usual.

00:34:06.480 Like Georgia. 0.72

00:34:07.380 Everybody said what Georgia was doing was crazy. 1.00

00:34:10.420 They haven't had any significant spike.

00:34:12.180 It's not.

00:34:13.260 Well, let me stick at schools for a second.

00:34:15.880 Let me go back to that.

00:34:17.260 Let me come back to that here for a second.

00:34:19.680 Let's stay on schools for just a second.

00:34:22.800 750 media stories were written about Liberty University.

00:34:26.940 They said that they were writing the death sentences for 1,100 students because after spring break, Liberty said, come back.

00:34:35.440 Come back.

00:34:35.880 If you have elderly parents or people in your home that are at high risk, you can, you know, you can stay at home. 0.79

00:34:42.740 But everybody else, come back.

00:34:44.500 1,100 students came back.

00:34:46.620 They have now zero cases of students on campus.

00:34:51.500 Zero.

00:34:52.460 And everybody mocked them with COVID.

00:34:55.280 None of them have COVID.

00:34:56.620 None of the students, none of the faculty, as a matter of fact.

00:34:59.640 None of them.

00:35:00.340 Nobody.

00:35:01.160 Nobody.

00:35:02.220 Okay.

00:35:02.660 So now let's go to the other thing that we're talking about in opening states.

00:35:08.340 If you look at DeSantis and Kemp, they are, I mean, they're the pariahs, right?

00:35:13.700 It's unbelievable.

00:35:15.640 Florida and Georgia are doing really well.

00:35:20.200 Below the death rates of the national average of 25 per 100,000 people.

00:35:25.520 In Georgia, it's 13.

00:35:27.440 In Florida, it's eight.

00:35:29.720 Wow.

00:35:29.800 Now, you can say that you need 14 or 21 days for it to incubate, to really know.

00:35:35.640 But so far, there is no uptick at all in either of those states.

00:35:40.440 And it seems like, too, you know, it's all speculation, of course, but it seems like the

00:35:44.980 warmer weather does help, right?

00:35:46.520 I mean, and that does, you know, it's nice for, you know, if you happen to live in Texas

00:35:50.100 and it's nice for if you got to stay out of the sun and beach.

00:35:53.120 Yeah.

00:35:53.560 Yeah, I know. 0.83

00:35:54.040 Well, that was always ridiculous. 0.96

00:35:55.420 The outdoor stuff has always been ridiculous. 0.77

00:35:58.280 There's never been an indication that this has been spread in any wide sense at all, in 0.71

00:36:03.620 any outdoor setting.

00:36:05.420 Like, there's never been, that's never been a thing.

00:36:08.900 And the kids thing has never been a thing.

00:36:10.700 There was never a time in which they were like, oh, well, maybe 20% of kids will die

00:36:14.100 from this.

00:36:14.560 It's literally never been suggested by anyone.

00:36:16.820 Never been.

00:36:17.400 You know, whether the, you can argue about the approach on how they go to these things,

00:36:21.700 but these are not new discoveries.

00:36:23.580 At the very beginning, they all told us, old people, people with pre-existing conditions.

00:36:27.640 Yeah.

00:36:28.260 If I'm not mistaken, most kids are not old.

00:36:30.960 And those people should, those people should be quarantined.

00:36:34.280 If you want to stay safe, then you should stay home.

00:36:38.300 But unless you have underlying conditions, I mean, it just doesn't make any sense.

00:36:44.580 By the way, here's another thing for, to show that Americans are smart enough to do this.

00:36:51.640 There's new data on social distancing.

00:36:54.220 No obvious trend over the last couple of weeks.

00:36:57.280 University of Maryland social distancing index stayed at 58 on May 3rd.

00:37:03.200 It then, when things started to open up in some places, it dipped down to the low 40s

00:37:08.560 for a few days, but was back to 53% on Sunday.

00:37:12.740 That means the people staying home is not changing.

00:37:17.600 You're opening the states and it's, it's not changing.

00:37:21.880 People are generally doing, and nobody is going to the movie theaters.

00:37:25.980 If you open up the theater, I go to the movie.

00:37:28.320 Do you guys know anybody who goes to movies more than me?

00:37:31.000 No.

00:37:31.420 No.

00:37:31.920 Absolutely not.

00:37:32.620 Never in history of the history.

00:37:33.940 Even people who work in the industry.

00:37:35.580 Don't go as much as you.

00:37:36.820 Okay.

00:37:36.960 Thank you.

00:37:37.360 Okay.

00:37:37.700 All right.

00:37:38.220 Enough.

00:37:38.540 So I go to the movie all the time, sometimes twice a week.

00:37:42.040 If we can, I, if there's movies out, I love movies.

00:37:46.680 Here's the problem.

00:37:49.100 There's, they're saying they're opening it up on July 1st with Russell Crowe and his

00:37:53.060 new movie.

00:37:53.440 I don't know anything about it, but even let's just say the one I'm waiting for is

00:37:56.800 James Bond or Godzilla, even if they come out with those, I don't think I'm going to

00:38:02.180 those and sitting next to somebody.

00:38:03.840 I'm not going.

00:38:05.260 And I love the movies.

00:38:07.900 People will decide themselves. 0.87

00:38:09.980 We're not stupid. 0.95

00:38:11.400 Yeah. 0.71

00:38:11.980 And that's why when theaters were allowed to open up here in Texas, they didn't.

00:38:18.140 I don't know of any theater near us that's open.

00:38:21.120 Yeah.

00:38:21.320 No, I don't either.

00:38:22.080 Now the only, there's no movies either.

00:38:25.040 So that's the thing part of it, but still, most of these theater companies are saying,

00:38:29.320 well, we don't know if it's time yet.

00:38:30.580 Yeah.

00:38:30.680 And I certainly don't want to open to 25% capacity that I'm going to lose money at that.

00:38:34.700 Yeah.

00:38:35.020 So yeah, it makes sense that they're not opening.

00:38:37.220 We're going through this on, uh, you know, on Stude Does America tonight, but it's like

00:38:40.460 this, this data shows it's just that in America, at least the people lead the government,

00:38:46.420 not the other way around.

00:38:47.780 Yes.

00:38:48.040 And we've been talking so much about government and it's important to talk about like when Michigan

00:38:52.780 does these crazy things and they start arresting people at salons and that's all important.

00:38:57.420 But the American people made this decision.

00:38:59.600 We go through the data.

00:39:01.060 Uh, uh, there's a, you know, a place that basically shows like the mobility of how, of

00:39:05.800 how people, you know, are, they're moving around.

00:39:07.440 It's all cell phone data.

00:39:08.440 So how much are people moving around?

00:39:10.000 And you see people starting before the government ever says anything about bands, people stopped

00:39:15.660 going out.

00:39:16.960 We looked at all the States, all 50 States reached the peak, the peak of staying home

00:39:24.120 before the government put in their bands, all 50 States.

00:39:28.640 Interesting.

00:39:28.820 It's incredible.

00:39:29.780 People were just like, I don't want to deal with this.

00:39:31.700 And they stayed home and then it inched back before they opened.

00:39:36.240 Yeah. 0.99

00:39:36.400 So like almost none of this had to do with whatever dumb governor you have that said some 1.00

00:39:41.720 stupid thing. 1.00

00:39:42.660 People were making up their own minds on this. 1.00

00:39:44.680 And that's the way it's supposed to be in this country.

00:39:45.980 You know, what's going to be really interesting is when we see two or three weeks from now,

00:39:49.800 what happens in Colorado after that restaurant opened up and allowed hundreds of people with

00:39:54.560 no social distancing to pour in at least two nights in a row.

00:39:57.840 So we'll see if there's a huge spike now because they opened up the old fashioned.

00:40:03.060 Well, they're, they are claiming that there is a spike in Colorado.

00:40:08.460 Let me see where this is.

00:40:10.120 They're saying there's a spike in color, right?

00:40:12.760 No, no, no, no, no.

00:40:13.720 I love, no, I love this.

00:40:14.880 This is what they're, it's in one of the stories.

00:40:17.720 Where is it?

00:40:18.860 One of the stories where they're like, Hey, look, you know, we, we gotta be careful.

00:40:21.940 We just can't open up everything.

00:40:23.380 I mean, there's a, there's a spike in Colorado.

00:40:25.280 I can't find it now because I want to read it to you exactly, but it's from a mushroom

00:40:30.380 farm in Colorado where the workers, it's a mushroom farm. 0.99

00:40:35.960 You're surrounded in crap. 1.00

00:40:40.580 Shut up. 1.00

00:40:41.380 It's not like everybody went and like, Oh man, I got to get to that mushroom farm. 0.99

00:40:45.380 Now, please, please give it a rest.
