00:00:00.000 Well, welcome to Halloween. Blah, blah, blah.
00:00:04.620 Yes, the bloodsuckers are back, and they're all in Congress voting for impeachment.
00:00:09.560 Today's podcast covers that and so much more for Halloween.
00:00:15.960 Here it is.
00:00:24.980 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:00:30.000 I'm just reading some of the tweets and email that came in after the special last night.
00:00:39.220 Nice job, Glenn. Always sowing more division and hate.
00:00:42.760 I can hardly stand to be around some old people anymore because they don't believe in science, economics, basic decency due to your garbage.
00:00:51.580 Or this one. This is vile, Glenn, attacking a private citizen to hold water for criminals.
00:00:57.340 Your logic is broken in general. You're so bad for America.
00:01:01.200 You spread so much disinformation as any bad actor.
00:01:05.480 The media is responsible for Trump trying to bribe Ukraine.
00:01:10.340 Really, Glenn?
00:01:12.160 The problem is you can't defend what Trump did.
00:01:15.600 And when you can't defend, you deflect with whataboutisms and conspiracy theories.
00:01:20.400 So it seems to have gotten through the message.
00:01:25.760 And that's the problem. And I want to talk to you about something else.
00:01:29.500 We have Marion Smith on, the executive director of Victims of Communism.
00:01:34.940 They have just put out their fourth annual report on U.S. attitudes towards socialism.
00:01:39.840 And I want to go through some of these things because there is no way that America survives if we don't turn the tide on this.
00:01:49.220 Marion, welcome to the program. How are you?
00:01:52.300 I'm great. Thanks for having me on.
00:01:53.960 So I'm looking through, and I saw some of these reported, but looking through the real key takeaways from your study,
00:02:02.500 capitalism still favored more favorably than any other economic system.
00:02:07.240 It's steady. It's 61 percent from last year.
00:02:11.520 However, the favorability of capitalism is lower amongst Generation Z and millennials, around 50 percent.
00:02:18.240 Communism is viewed favorably by more than one in three millennials, up eight points.
00:02:27.860 Fifteen percent of millennials think the world would be better off if the Soviet Union still existed.
00:02:33.800 Seventy-two percent of Americans incorrectly say that communism has killed less than 100 million people in the past 100 years.
00:02:40.340 A majority of Americans aged 35 and under trust themselves more than the community or the government.
00:02:46.980 That doesn't make sense with the rest, does it, Marion?
00:02:49.920 Well, it would seem that the basic instinct that you would trust yourself, obviously, to look after your interest as opposed to the government.
00:03:00.920 It sounds like that's a pretty sound statistic there.
00:03:03.920 But you're right. It doesn't quite jive with the other findings of this poll.
00:03:10.460 The one in three millennials having a favorable attitudes towards communism.
00:03:15.900 That's a real jump from last year and, of course, very concerning.
00:03:20.260 But I think very concerning as well when asked, you know, about voting.
00:03:29.420 Seventy percent of millennials said that they would be likely or extremely likely to vote for a socialist.
00:03:36.940 And the number of extremely likelies, you know, doubled from last year.
00:03:42.500 So and the other finding, I think, is significant to help explain all this is that 66 percent of Americans cannot accurately define Marxism, socialism or communism.
00:03:55.080 And so they don't think of it as the public ownership of the means of production.
00:03:59.920 They don't think of it as the collectivist system that it actually is intellectually and historically.
00:04:05.580 Instead, they've been led to believe like individuals such as Bernie Sanders, you know, various academics that have presented socialism as more or less the kind of high tax welfare states of Scandinavia.
00:04:23.240 Whereas, you know, as well as I do, those those are not socialist systems.
00:04:27.780 Those are market economies, democracies that for many years tried to deliver a high tax welfare state.
00:04:37.240 And in recent years, they've actually pulled back on that and implemented more free enterprise policies.
00:04:42.220 So I think it's false advertising in America's political discourse, at least since 2016.
00:04:48.260 OK, so tell me this, though, now that that kind of explains socialism because it's it's you know,
00:04:53.040 it's it's become popular and people think that it's Sweden.
00:04:55.680 But how do you explain up eight points from 2018?
00:05:02.560 Thirty six percent of millennials say communism is good, right?
00:05:08.900 It's concerning. And, you know, Glenn, we're seeing groups around the country organized and funded and active at the local level,
00:05:20.520 calling themselves Marxist, some of them saying they subscribe to to Maoist ideology.
00:05:28.480 Oh, my gosh.
00:05:30.040 There's a group called the Workers Education Society that became very active in St.
00:05:35.280 Louis a few years ago and successfully got some of their members elected to senior post locally and in some of the top posts of the Democratic Party there.
00:05:46.840 And we had, you know, patriotic Americans, Democrats in St.
00:05:51.860 Louis, which is overwhelmingly a Democratic town.
00:05:54.400 And they contacted us alarmed at this development.
00:05:58.420 And in response, we went down on fact finding missions.
00:06:02.040 And this month, we actually opened a local victims of communism commission there in St.
00:06:08.480 Louis to combat some of these efforts.
00:06:10.840 We have billboards up in the city.
00:06:13.480 We've organized various events for the for the local community.
00:06:17.300 And so, you know, I have to say that what's reflected in this poll in terms of the normalizing of very violent ideologies, such as communism, in this case, that's reflected on on the streets of American cities.
00:06:30.560 So so so help me out with this, Marion.
00:06:33.920 I know that you guys you you do studies like this.
00:06:37.580 You're you're constantly watching for communism and these and socialism and these kinds of movements that spring up and kill hundreds of millions of people.
00:06:49.620 And I know that you keep the records.
00:06:52.180 You you are making sure that the voices of those who actually witnessed these things are recorded and kept.
00:07:00.360 But when you say somebody called your office, I didn't know.
00:07:04.100 What do you what do you offer?
00:07:05.780 What else do you do in in communities?
00:07:09.440 Excuse my ignorance.
00:07:11.220 No, sure.
00:07:11.820 So, you know, we are we are trying to be true to our mission, which is to educate Americans about the ideology, the history and the legacy of communism.
00:07:20.900 And our congressional mandate from 1993, even though we're a nonprofit, we do have that congressional mandate, you know, a few years after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
00:07:31.020 It was a bipartisan issue that we should learn the lessons of the Cold War.
00:07:35.700 So that passed unanimously in Congress in 93.
00:07:38.900 But it's also to memorialize the victims.
00:07:41.820 But, you know, we couldn't take our mission seriously if we weren't active and trying to make sure that there are no more victims of communism.
00:07:49.080 Um, domestically, that means alerting the American public so that they understand what's happened in Venezuela recently.
00:07:56.500 And these failed ideologies of the last century, you know, have no place in American politics.
00:08:01.920 But it also means supporting, giving a voice platform to dissidents in Venezuela and Cuba and Korea, China.
00:08:09.780 So we're active on Hong Kong protests, pro-democracy protests.
00:08:15.240 We're supporting Venezuelan dissidents.
00:08:18.400 So we try to do everything we can to to make sure that this century doesn't, you know, come to be defined by this struggle between communist imperialism and and and the free world that that defines so much of the last century.
00:08:35.440 You know, I, Mary and I, when I saw the NFL and what they did in China, and I think this is going to happen with Google and Facebook.
00:08:42.860 I think they're going to look, be looked upon like IBM was with the Nazis as collaborators.
00:08:52.460 With the NBA.
00:08:54.860 Yeah, it's not NFL, NBA and Nike.
00:08:58.280 do you do you think that we made progress at all there were you optimistic at all when that
00:09:08.180 happened with the NBA that people were standing up at least some and saying hey hey hey wait that's
00:09:14.420 not cool absolutely I mean Daryl Morey's tweet I don't think he meant it this way but it really
00:09:21.120 was the tweet heard around the world and it it you know sparked a series of events that made it clear
00:09:29.580 to Americans who I don't think were paying attention on this particular subject and you know
00:09:38.120 it seems that millions of Americans you know had the right response which is absolutely not the
00:09:44.600 Chinese Communist Party is not going to hijack the game of basketball and be a conduit to shut down
00:09:52.300 Americans free speech in the United States but you know Adam Silver the NBA commissioner and the
00:10:00.120 leadership of the NBA their immediate response was to come down on Daryl Morey like a ton of bricks and
00:10:05.760 deleted the tweet and you know you had others like Steph Curry and Coach Kerr and others coming out
00:10:13.280 and essentially parroting a propaganda line from Beijing and as you are the keeper of history or one
00:10:21.300 of the keepers of history you've seen this before have you not I mean doesn't this absolutely yeah
00:10:26.700 this is this is uh this is uh what we would call useful idiots you know you have you have uh useful
00:10:34.160 idiots paid agents um and and other sort of uh other sort of uh roles within the free world um that helped
00:10:45.440 uh aided and abetted the Soviet Union um you know during the Cold War and that I think um is surprising
00:10:54.160 a lot of Americans now who are realizing uh just how many tentacles the Chinese Communist Party has
00:11:00.440 in American society media sports uh business and politics and it is going to have to fall to the
00:11:08.660 American people uh to rise up and say that we didn't uh establish and defend this free enterprise
00:11:16.440 system this republic uh with with much blood and treasure so that our corrupt business elite could
00:11:23.240 go and make deals with officials from the Chinese Communist Party and sell out American workers and the
00:11:28.960 Chinese people you can follow Marion at uh vo communism vo communism it's uh victims of communism dot org
00:11:38.860 uh Marion thank you so much for the uh information and all of the hard work and thank you for passing
00:11:44.720 on that it was Democrats that actually called you guys into action in uh St. Louis and said you got to
00:11:51.300 help us here because it's getting scary that's right it's good news you bet Marion Smith

00:12:18.980 first responders in Ohio got an early Halloween scare last night
00:12:36.160 a girl 20 she totals her car on the way home totals her car
00:12:45.160 as they are pulling up to the scene the bloodied woman emerged from her car looking mangled and pale
00:12:55.240 blood dripping all over her prom dress
00:12:59.580 police panicked
00:13:03.460 she later said waiting for my parents to come pick me up from the scene
00:13:08.500 two more policemen showed up by this time I was out of the vehicle and making conversation with people
00:13:15.260 the new officer says I hate to interrupt but
00:13:18.360 does anybody else here think she needs medical assistance
00:13:22.260 she was driving home from a haunted house event when
00:13:26.780 she came dressed to promote her new role in an upcoming
00:13:29.640 theatrical adaptation of the 1976 film Carrie
00:13:34.580 the
00:13:35.900 the uh you know the end she's drenched in pig blood
00:13:41.160 um
00:13:42.300 her vehicle had struck a deer
00:13:44.960 and was totaled the very first responder was a gentleman that pulled over
00:13:49.800 just being a good Samaritan
00:13:51.540 uh she said I could tell that he was horrified
00:13:55.440 but I forgot what I was wearing
00:13:59.060 next came the police officers who were like
00:14:01.100 oh man and kept asking over and over again if I needed medical assistance
00:14:05.880 the second round of cops that came in
00:14:08.260 um you know
00:14:09.520 weren't in on the makeup
00:14:11.120 and they said
00:14:12.960 are we just going to ignore that blood is dripping from all over and she needs medical assistance
00:14:18.860 she walked away uh with a crash with just a bruise on her leg
00:14:25.280 scary stories
00:14:27.240 what about the blood dripping down her hair and all that
00:14:29.580 right
00:14:29.940 yeah she was I mean that's serious serious injuries
00:14:33.280 scary
00:14:33.900 uh protester planned outside a branch of the Toronto Public Library to coincide with the appearance of writer Megan Murphy
00:14:41.100 uh Megan Murphy is a big feminist
00:14:43.880 uh she talks a lot about women's safety
00:14:46.360 and she's worried about the safety of women in places like female prisons
00:14:50.140 uh and changing rooms
00:14:52.480 because she doesn't want trans women in those rooms with her
00:14:57.920 oh boy
00:14:58.460 she kind of feels
00:14:59.860 kind of feels like uh you shouldn't have men in these women's places
00:15:03.180 hmm
00:15:03.880 and uh
00:15:05.600 bigot
00:15:06.080 she's being boycotted
00:15:07.340 and uh she's being shut out
00:15:09.400 because yes she's a hater
00:15:11.860 she's a bigot
00:15:12.780 she's anti-trans
00:15:14.020 and she hates
00:15:15.680 people
00:15:16.400 well
00:15:17.400 she's definitely not welcome
00:15:19.160 uh at uh
00:15:20.660 the
00:15:21.120 Hennepin County Library
00:15:23.220 in Hennepin County
00:15:24.960 Minnesota
00:15:25.420 hmm
00:15:26.340 uh the performer there
00:15:28.200 Sasha
00:15:29.880 Socha
00:15:30.800 uh
00:15:32.220 appeared to accidentally
00:15:33.280 flash
00:15:34.120 uh the crotch
00:15:35.380 at the audience of
00:15:37.280 children
00:15:37.960 or maybe not so accidentally
00:15:39.440 well maybe not
00:15:40.660 um
00:15:41.500 she is uh
00:15:43.020 the Gemini
00:15:44.020 Valentine
00:15:44.720 um
00:15:46.560 and she takes the floor
00:15:47.880 wearing a
00:15:48.760 uh revealing
00:15:49.480 leotard
00:15:50.600 she usually wears this
00:15:54.000 at strip clubs
00:15:55.120 uh
00:15:55.780 and uh
00:15:57.840 she decided to uh
00:16:00.820 read to the kids
00:16:01.780 and the kids
00:16:02.480 didn't like to see what was under
00:16:04.180 her
00:16:04.620 her miniskirt
00:16:05.940 you know
00:16:07.500 what's fun
00:16:08.020 is we
00:16:08.400 we don't kind of care
00:16:09.620 about the safety of women
00:16:10.700 anymore
00:16:11.080 and we don't care
00:16:12.180 about the safety of
00:16:12.960 children
00:16:13.360 anymore
00:16:13.820 these are four and five
00:16:14.880 year old kids
00:16:15.520 they're fine
00:16:15.960 that they're being
00:16:16.580 read to
00:16:16.840 they're gonna see it
00:16:17.600 one day
00:16:18.100 they gotta learn about
00:16:18.880 it sometime
00:16:19.200 they gotta learn about
00:16:19.960 it
00:16:20.160 yep
00:16:20.460 new hampshire
00:16:21.700 families halloween
00:16:22.480 display did not
00:16:23.560 amuse the people in
00:16:24.680 charge of the cemetery
00:16:26.000 rob and christina
00:16:27.640 wool
00:16:28.080 lost their 18 year
00:16:29.880 old son
00:16:30.460 cole
00:16:30.960 three years ago
00:16:32.240 they wanted to
00:16:33.400 honor his dark
00:16:34.380 sense of humor
00:16:35.100 with a display
00:16:36.040 on his grave
00:16:37.260 we were just
00:16:39.180 trying to do
00:16:40.000 something to
00:16:40.540 honor our son's
00:16:41.260 sense of humor
00:16:42.120 cole had a fatal
00:16:44.240 heart attack
00:16:44.940 shortly after
00:16:45.840 a rodeo event
00:16:47.120 his family
00:16:48.060 described him
00:16:48.700 as a big kid
00:16:49.420 with even a bigger
00:16:50.120 sense of humor
00:16:50.840 he's not here
00:16:52.200 with us anymore
00:16:52.800 but his humor
00:16:53.480 was big
00:16:54.320 and it lives
00:16:55.240 beyond the grave
00:16:56.060 we thought it
00:16:56.820 could brighten
00:16:57.300 people's lives
00:16:58.280 just kind of
00:16:59.560 walk by
00:17:00.140 and have them
00:17:00.800 see it
00:17:01.240 and chuckle
00:17:01.880 cole would have
00:17:02.560 loved that
00:17:03.200 what the parents
00:17:04.920 did was
00:17:05.900 right there
00:17:08.880 in front of
00:17:09.340 his headstone
00:17:10.120 they dug up
00:17:10.900 a little bit
00:17:11.420 of the dirt
00:17:12.200 and had a
00:17:13.620 skeleton appear
00:17:14.840 to rise out
00:17:15.740 of the ground
00:17:16.340 in front of
00:17:16.900 his headstone
00:17:18.180 arms and legs
00:17:20.100 and skull
00:17:20.640 with a cowboy
00:17:21.340 hat on top
00:17:22.760 the cemetery
00:17:24.400 quote
00:17:25.200 was not amused
00:17:27.200 they
00:17:28.880 they removed
00:17:29.940 the display
00:17:30.600 at once
00:17:31.540 but not once
00:17:33.140 they removed
00:17:34.100 it at once
00:17:34.760 but not just
00:17:35.500 once
00:17:35.800 they removed
00:17:36.660 it three
00:17:37.160 three times
00:17:38.940 the parents
00:17:39.900 finally said
00:17:40.620 okay
00:17:41.420 we won't
00:17:42.220 set it up
00:17:42.680 again
00:17:43.040 or will
00:17:44.500 we
00:17:44.880 a woman
00:17:48.380 named Rachel
00:17:48.980 mourning her
00:17:50.640 ex-boyfriend
00:17:51.300 who had been
00:17:52.340 brutally murdered
00:17:53.140 by a biker
00:17:53.880 gang
00:17:54.260 his mother
00:17:55.760 told her
00:17:56.400 about it
00:17:56.860 she didn't
00:17:57.660 ask any
00:17:58.040 questions
00:17:58.460 she says
00:18:00.740 you know
00:18:02.040 I couldn't
00:18:02.940 I couldn't
00:18:03.680 reason to
00:18:04.560 question it
00:18:05.400 I had no
00:18:05.900 reason to
00:18:06.380 question it
00:18:06.920 but two
00:18:07.700 years later
00:18:08.220 Rachel was
00:18:08.740 sitting in a
00:18:09.180 local restaurant
00:18:09.920 with a friend
00:18:10.520 when she
00:18:10.960 remembered
00:18:11.420 that her
00:18:13.280 boyfriend
00:18:13.800 Alistair's
00:18:14.880 brother worked
00:18:15.400 there and
00:18:15.940 asked for a
00:18:16.580 waiter to
00:18:17.120 tell him to
00:18:17.520 stop by the
00:18:18.040 table
00:18:18.340 she went
00:18:19.520 I haven't
00:18:19.860 seen him in
00:18:20.240 ages and
00:18:20.880 I'd like to
00:18:21.260 say hi
00:18:21.680 restaurant
00:18:22.160 employee told
00:18:22.840 her he
00:18:23.120 wasn't in
00:18:23.520 that day
00:18:23.900 but informed
00:18:24.480 her his
00:18:24.840 brother
00:18:25.180 his only
00:18:26.380 brother
00:18:26.780 was
00:18:27.740 her ex-boy
00:18:30.120 her murdered
00:18:30.740 boyfriend showed
00:18:31.600 up at her
00:18:31.980 table to say
00:18:32.560 hi to her
00:18:33.160 she was a
00:18:34.560 tad surprised
00:18:35.340 wait
00:18:35.720 wait
00:18:36.440 she had
00:18:37.500 not he
00:18:38.100 had not
00:18:38.560 been murdered
00:18:39.120 he was
00:18:39.780 undead
00:18:40.360 he was
00:18:40.880 undead
00:18:41.360 yes
00:18:41.940 he was
00:18:42.840 not dead
00:18:43.380 it's a
00:18:43.980 miracle
00:18:44.380 she says
00:18:45.020 I went
00:18:45.280 into shock
00:18:46.020 next thing
00:18:47.260 I know
00:18:47.620 the manager's
00:18:48.320 over to
00:18:48.800 ask if
00:18:49.260 there's a
00:18:49.660 problem
00:18:50.060 and there
00:18:51.380 was
00:18:51.880 my boyfriend
00:18:54.800 who was
00:18:55.640 murdered
00:18:56.200 is alive
00:18:57.920 is working
00:18:58.700 as a waiter
00:18:59.480 in your
00:18:59.860 restaurant
00:19:00.380 something
00:19:01.660 weird
00:19:02.220 here
00:19:02.660 so did
00:19:03.400 he just
00:19:03.800 not have
00:19:04.220 the guts
00:19:04.580 to break
00:19:05.920 up with
00:19:06.200 her
00:19:06.380 well it
00:19:07.280 was not
00:19:07.600 like anyone
00:19:08.100 cheated or
00:19:08.760 anything
00:19:09.120 she said
00:19:10.880 that he
00:19:11.820 owed her
00:19:12.320 300 bucks
00:19:13.160 and he
00:19:13.340 apparently
00:19:13.660 didn't want
00:19:14.020 to pay
00:19:14.260 it
00:19:14.440 so he
00:19:15.480 faked
00:19:15.920 his death
00:19:16.560 okay
00:19:20.340 all right
00:19:21.140 that is
00:19:21.940 always
00:19:22.260 that's a
00:19:22.660 way to
00:19:22.920 go
00:19:23.140 yeah
00:19:23.620 sure
00:19:24.000 here's
00:19:24.420 another
00:19:24.640 way
00:19:25.020 woman
00:19:25.420 living
00:19:25.720 in a

00:20:52.660 little
00:20:53.300 bit
00:20:53.460 frightening

00:21:04.940 as

00:21:06.800 ago
00:21:07.100 and

00:21:08.420 they're
00:21:08.680 seeing
00:21:08.940 the

00:21:09.940 like
00:21:10.240 YouTube
00:21:10.500 that
00:21:10.840 are
00:21:10.960 supposedly
00:21:11.340 off
00:21:11.600 limits
00:21:11.880 to
00:21:12.080 children
00:21:12.380 younger

00:21:13.580 they're
00:21:13.740 watching

00:21:15.260 they
00:21:15.740 want

00:21:17.360 the
00:21:17.520 good
00:21:17.660 thing
00:21:17.860 is
00:21:18.140 a
00:21:18.380 lot
00:21:18.540 of
00:21:18.620 these
00:21:18.800 videos
00:21:19.240 are
00:21:19.700 just
00:21:20.100 kids
00:21:20.440 unwrapping

00:21:21.180 and

00:21:21.560 with
00:21:21.780 them
00:21:22.080 and
00:21:22.360 so
00:21:22.760 they're
00:21:24.160 just
00:21:24.320 wasting
00:21:24.580 time
00:21:25.440 a
00:21:28.500 procedure
00:21:29.140 that
00:21:31.040 has
00:21:31.200 been
00:21:31.400 touted
00:21:31.860 as
00:21:32.200 the
00:21:32.400 future
00:21:32.920 of
00:21:33.180 medicine
00:21:33.700 has
00:21:35.160 left
00:21:35.480 a
00:21:35.820 patient
00:21:36.840 dead
00:21:37.360 now
00:21:39.400 doctors
00:21:39.860 are being
00:21:40.380 are being
00:21:41.860 more open
00:21:42.320 they're
00:21:42.500 bringing
00:21:42.780 transparency
00:21:43.540 to the
00:21:44.220 still
00:21:44.600 new
00:21:45.000 technology
00:21:45.900 doctors
00:21:47.820 books
00:21:48.180 and blogs
00:21:48.720 have been

00:21:55.160 it's
00:21:57.100 like
00:21:57.280 poop
00:21:59.460 transplants
00:22:00.020 it's
00:22:00.340 a

00:22:06.960 tract
00:22:07.380 of a

00:22:08.100 in
00:22:08.460 order
00:22:08.680 to

00:22:10.440 to
00:22:10.720 the
00:22:10.880 gut
00:22:11.220 now
00:22:13.200 that's
00:22:15.660 interesting
00:22:16.160 you know
00:22:17.660 how do
00:22:18.880 you
00:22:19.000 how do
00:22:20.040 you
00:22:20.160 become
00:22:20.620 a

00:22:21.500 you
00:22:25.080 know
00:22:25.220 at least
00:22:25.520 in
00:22:25.700 this
00:22:26.000 one
00:22:26.120 you
00:22:26.220 don't
00:22:26.360 need
00:22:26.520 a
00:22:26.640 magazine
00:22:27.040 you
00:22:27.300 just
00:22:27.480 go
00:22:27.780 in
00:22:28.080 and
00:22:28.240 just
00:22:28.500 leave
00:22:29.020 your
00:22:29.220 specimen
00:22:29.720 in
00:22:31.620 June
00:22:31.940 the

00:22:35.700 transplants
00:22:36.560 from
00:22:36.900 the
00:22:37.100 same
00:22:37.460 donor
00:22:37.960 got
00:22:38.740 sick
00:22:39.220 with
00:22:39.460 E.
00:22:39.680 coli
00:22:40.120 that
00:22:40.480 damn
00:22:40.860 jack
00:22:41.380 from
00:22:41.860 jack
00:22:42.160 in
00:22:42.280 the
00:22:42.380 box
00:22:42.680 one
00:22:43.280 of
00:22:43.420 them
00:22:43.560 died
00:22:44.020 but
00:22:45.040 few
00:22:45.280 details
00:22:45.760 were
00:22:46.020 shared
00:22:46.460 about
00:22:46.740 the
00:22:46.920 scary
00:22:47.240 incident
00:22:47.700 now
00:22:48.040 doctors

00:22:50.300 the
00:22:50.440 incidents
00:22:50.800 took
00:22:51.060 place
00:22:51.500 not
00:22:52.020 the
00:22:52.220 incidents
00:22:52.840 the
00:22:53.660 fecal

00:22:55.980 give their
00:22:56.240 side of
00:22:56.560 the story
00:22:56.960 hopefully
00:22:57.380 dispel
00:22:58.100 some of
00:22:58.460 the
00:22:58.640 fear
00:22:59.020 hanging
00:23:00.380 over

00:23:04.540 going to
00:23:04.880 give you
00:23:05.300 any more
00:23:05.820 details

00:23:08.920 of the

00:23:10.040 matter
00:23:10.400 I just
00:23:11.720 want to
00:23:12.000 know
00:23:12.280 how much
00:23:13.860 can I
00:23:14.380 make
00:23:14.920 on
00:23:15.780 fecal
00:23:16.320 matter
00:23:16.740 you know
00:23:17.840 if I'm
00:23:18.740 a donor
00:23:19.240 do I
00:23:19.800 get
00:23:20.180 money
00:23:20.580 for it
00:23:21.140 because
00:23:21.820 that
00:23:23.560 truly
00:23:24.120 is
00:23:24.700 shooting
00:23:25.400 money
00:23:25.720 out of
00:23:26.040 your
00:23:26.200 ass
00:23:26.400 I'm
00:23:27.120 just
00:23:27.400 just
00:23:28.360 want to
00:23:28.660 say
00:23:28.820 this
00:23:32.040 is the
00:23:32.640 best

00:24:06.860 12
00:24:07.440 puts a
00:24:08.100 chill
00:24:08.340 in the
00:24:08.620 air
00:24:08.960 the office
00:24:10.180 is empty
00:24:10.600 deserted
00:24:11.040 and bare
00:24:11.680 you stayed
00:24:13.280 far too
00:24:13.820 late
00:24:14.040 going home
00:24:14.600 is too
00:24:14.960 much
00:24:15.300 for the
00:24:15.860 streets
00:24:16.220 are now
00:24:16.580 crawling
00:24:16.980 with
00:24:17.340 zombies
00:24:17.880 and such
00:24:18.700 you see
00:24:19.520 them all
00:24:19.980 moaning
00:24:20.440 and scratching
00:24:21.100 and biting
00:24:21.780 just outside
00:24:22.540 your office
00:24:23.100 in the
00:24:23.460 parking
00:24:23.780 lot
00:24:24.280 lighting
00:24:24.820 and a
00:24:25.880 voice
00:24:26.140 in your
00:24:26.420 head
00:24:26.640 says
00:24:27.100 you'll
00:24:27.800 make it
00:24:28.160 just go
00:24:29.220 and you
00:24:30.340 say to
00:24:30.600 that voice
00:24:31.040 very loudly
00:24:31.560 hell no
00:24:32.320 so now
00:24:34.180 you must
00:24:34.500 sleep in
00:24:34.920 your office

00:24:37.520 no ghouls
00:24:38.320 will be
00:24:38.640 there

00:24:40.240 variable
00:24:40.760 lumbar
00:24:41.220 support
00:24:41.680 it's

00:24:47.440 of

00:24:48.160 productivity
00:24:48.880 and
00:24:49.840 drool

00:25:18.160 it was
00:25:21.860 a crime
00:25:22.360 of
00:25:22.560 contempt
00:25:23.160 one
00:25:24.460 young
00:25:24.740 man's
00:25:25.160 logic
00:25:25.540 misguided
00:25:26.400 through
00:25:26.740 the
00:25:26.900 onslaught
00:25:27.360 of
00:25:27.500 insanity
00:25:27.960 his
00:25:29.320 name
00:25:29.720 remains
00:25:30.400 unspoken
00:25:31.160 but
00:25:32.220 his
00:25:32.420 crime
00:25:32.900 is
00:25:33.660 unforgettable
00:25:34.460 this
00:25:36.080 is
00:25:36.460 his
00:25:36.680 story
00:25:37.180 true
00:25:39.420 nervous
00:25:40.620 very
00:25:41.600 very
00:25:42.100 dreadfully
00:25:43.060 nervous
00:25:43.660 I had
00:25:44.200 been
00:25:44.400 and
00:25:44.660 am
00:25:45.280 but
00:25:46.020 why would
00:25:46.860 you say
00:25:47.100 that I'm
00:25:47.420 mad
00:25:47.840 the disease
00:25:49.380 sharpened
00:25:50.320 my senses
00:25:50.940 not destroyed
00:25:51.860 not dull
00:25:52.500 above all
00:25:57.460 the sense
00:25:58.780 of hearing
00:25:59.380 was acute
00:26:00.100 I heard
00:26:01.280 all things
00:26:01.960 in heaven
00:26:02.360 and in hell
00:26:03.200 oh I
00:26:04.540 heard many
00:26:05.760 things in hell
00:26:06.840 how then
00:26:09.680 am I mad
00:26:10.740 hearken
00:26:11.500 and observe
00:26:12.260 how healthily
00:26:13.360 how calmly
00:26:14.760 I can tell you
00:26:16.320 the whole story
00:26:17.720 it's impossible
00:26:19.860 to say
00:26:20.660 how the first
00:26:21.300 idea
00:26:21.660 entered my brain
00:26:22.560 but
00:26:22.760 once conceived
00:26:24.240 it haunted
00:26:25.760 me day and night
00:26:26.740 object
00:26:27.540 there was none
00:26:28.200 passion
00:26:29.000 there was none
00:26:29.860 I love the old man
00:26:31.460 he had never wronged me
00:26:32.480 he had never given me insult
00:26:33.740 for his gold
00:26:34.920 I had no desire
00:26:35.960 I think it was
00:26:37.640 his eye
00:26:38.240 yes
00:26:39.980 it was this
00:26:42.100 he had an eye
00:26:43.880 of a vulture
00:26:44.860 a pale blue eye
00:26:46.840 with film
00:26:47.720 over it
00:26:48.480 whenever it fell
00:26:49.560 upon me
00:26:50.140 my blood
00:26:50.900 ran cold
00:26:51.680 and so
00:26:52.760 by degrees
00:26:53.660 very
00:26:54.240 gradually
00:26:55.100 I made up
00:26:56.680 my mind
00:26:57.220 to take the life
00:26:58.300 of the old man
00:26:59.220 and thus
00:27:00.600 rid myself
00:27:01.460 of the eye
00:27:02.220 forever
00:27:02.840 now
00:27:04.020 this
00:27:04.840 is the point
00:27:06.040 you fancy me mad
00:27:07.760 mad men
00:27:08.720 know nothing
00:27:09.420 but you should have
00:27:10.620 seen me
00:27:11.300 you should have seen
00:27:12.440 how wisely
00:27:13.380 I proceeded
00:27:14.200 with what caution
00:27:15.280 with what foresight
00:27:16.360 with what dissimulation
00:27:17.680 I went to work
00:27:18.760 I was never
00:27:19.580 kinder to the old man
00:27:20.960 than during the whole week
00:27:22.220 before I killed him
00:27:23.400 and every night
00:27:24.720 about midnight
00:27:25.960 I turned the latch
00:27:27.920 of his door
00:27:28.620 and opened it
00:27:30.100 oh so gently
00:27:31.960 and then
00:27:33.680 when I had made
00:27:34.960 an opening
00:27:35.420 sufficient for my head
00:27:36.880 I put in a lantern
00:27:38.500 dark
00:27:39.260 all closed
00:27:40.220 closed
00:27:40.600 so no light
00:27:41.560 shone out
00:27:42.180 and then
00:27:43.300 I thrust in my head
00:27:45.200 oh you would have
00:27:46.780 laughed to see
00:27:47.360 how cunningly
00:27:48.240 I thrust it in
00:27:49.520 I moved it in
00:27:50.560 slowly
00:27:51.180 very
00:27:51.680 very slowly
00:27:53.420 so I may not
00:27:54.400 disturb the old man
00:27:55.800 sleep
00:27:56.320 oh it took me
00:27:57.920 an hour
00:27:58.480 to place my whole head
00:27:59.720 within the opening
00:28:00.580 so far
00:28:01.640 that I could see him
00:28:02.740 as he lay
00:28:03.700 upon his bed
00:28:04.700 ha
00:28:05.760 would a mad man
00:28:07.140 have done something
00:28:07.840 as wise as this
00:28:08.900 and then
00:28:09.520 when my head
00:28:10.340 was well within
00:28:11.240 the room
00:28:11.780 I undid the lantern
00:28:13.180 cautiously
00:28:13.860 oh so cautiously
00:28:15.280 cautiously
00:28:16.120 for the hinges
00:28:17.500 creaked
00:28:18.040 I did it
00:28:19.480 just so much
00:28:20.860 that a single
00:28:22.100 thin ray
00:28:23.340 fell upon
00:28:24.460 the vulture
00:28:25.140 eye
00:28:25.720 and this
00:28:27.800 I did
00:28:29.300 for seven
00:28:30.180 long nights
00:28:31.600 every night
00:28:32.400 just at midnight
00:28:33.560 but I found
00:28:35.620 the eye
00:28:36.020 always closed
00:28:37.020 so it was
00:28:38.540 impossible
00:28:38.960 to do the work
00:28:39.820 I was not
00:28:41.040 the old man
00:28:41.840 who vexed me
00:28:42.660 but his evil eye
00:28:44.240 and every morning
00:28:46.960 when the day broke
00:28:47.740 I went boldly
00:28:48.820 into the chamber
00:28:49.420 and spoke courageously
00:28:50.680 to him
00:28:51.120 calling him by name
00:28:52.260 in a hearty tone
00:28:53.340 and inquiring
00:28:54.180 how he had passed
00:28:54.940 the night
00:28:55.380 so you see
00:28:56.600 he would have been
00:28:57.300 a very profound
00:28:58.400 old man
00:28:59.040 indeed
00:28:59.460 to suspect
00:29:00.140 that every night
00:29:01.240 just at twelve
00:29:02.800 I looked in on him
00:29:05.340 while he slept
00:29:06.900 upon the eighth night
00:29:09.260 I was more than
00:29:10.960 usually cautious
00:29:12.000 in opening the door
00:29:13.160 a watch's minute hand
00:29:15.100 moves more quickly
00:29:16.220 than did mine
00:29:17.200 never before
00:29:18.800 that night
00:29:19.500 had I felt
00:29:20.900 the extent
00:29:21.720 of my own
00:29:22.580 powers
00:29:23.220 of my sagacity
00:29:24.660 I could scarcely
00:29:26.060 contain my feelings
00:29:27.420 of triumph
00:29:28.100 to think
00:29:29.140 that I was there
00:29:30.620 opening the door
00:29:31.580 little by little
00:29:32.960 and he not even
00:29:33.980 dream of my
00:29:34.960 secret deeds
00:29:36.020 or thoughts
00:29:36.660 I fairly chuckled
00:29:38.160 at the idea
00:29:38.840 and perhaps he heard me
00:29:40.020 for he moved
00:29:40.820 on the bed
00:29:41.260 suddenly as if
00:29:41.980 starting
00:29:42.320 now
00:29:44.720 you may think
00:29:46.100 that I drew back
00:29:47.120 but no
00:29:48.220 his room was
00:29:49.980 black as pitch
00:29:50.980 with thick darkness
00:29:52.280 for the shutters
00:29:53.080 were closed
00:29:53.620 and fastened
00:29:54.320 through the fear
00:29:54.980 of robbers
00:29:55.660 and so I knew
00:29:56.880 he could not see
00:29:57.460 the opening of the door
00:29:58.400 and I kept
00:29:59.260 pushing it on
00:30:00.840 steadily
00:30:02.140 steadily
00:30:03.900 I had my head in
00:30:06.960 I was about
00:30:08.320 to open the lantern
00:30:09.320 when my thumb
00:30:10.440 slipped upon the
00:30:11.420 tin fastening
00:30:12.160 and the old man
00:30:12.680 sprang up in the bed
00:30:13.480 crying out
00:30:13.920 who's there
00:30:14.840 I kept quiet
00:30:15.880 still
00:30:16.420 I said nothing
00:30:17.380 for a whole
00:30:20.020 hour
00:30:20.700 I did not
00:30:22.060 move a muscle
00:30:23.360 and in the meantime
00:30:25.260 I did not hear
00:30:26.240 him lie down
00:30:27.360 he was still
00:30:28.540 sitting up
00:30:29.320 in bed
00:30:29.800 listening
00:30:30.220 just as I had
00:30:31.400 done night
00:30:31.940 after night
00:30:32.500 hearkening
00:30:33.380 to the death
00:30:34.240 watches in the
00:30:35.200 wall
00:30:35.680 presently
00:30:37.800 I heard
00:30:39.500 a slight
00:30:40.020 groan
00:30:40.740 and I knew
00:30:42.680 it was a groan
00:30:43.580 of mortal terror
00:30:44.720 it was not a groan
00:30:46.520 of pain
00:30:47.180 or of grief
00:30:47.840 oh no
00:30:48.420 it was the low
00:30:49.700 stifled sound
00:30:51.080 that arises
00:30:51.800 from the bottom
00:30:52.820 of the soul
00:30:53.660 when overcharged
00:30:55.040 with awe
00:30:55.740 I knew the sound
00:30:57.420 I knew the sound
00:30:57.440 well
00:30:57.960 many a night
00:30:59.960 just at midnight
00:31:01.400 when all the world
00:31:02.520 slept it had welled up
00:31:03.980 from my own bosom
00:31:05.160 deepening with a dreadful echo
00:31:07.320 the terrors that
00:31:08.700 distracted me
00:31:09.640 oh I say I knew it
00:31:11.020 well
00:31:11.340 I knew what the old man
00:31:12.840 felt and pitied him
00:31:14.320 although I chuckled
00:31:16.440 at heart
00:31:16.860 I knew that he had been
00:31:18.320 laying awake
00:31:19.100 ever since the first
00:31:20.340 slight noise
00:31:21.520 when he turned
00:31:22.460 in the bed
00:31:23.100 his fears
00:31:25.140 had been ever since
00:31:26.080 growing upon him
00:31:27.280 he had been trying
00:31:28.400 to fancy them
00:31:29.140 causeless
00:31:29.880 but could not
00:31:30.700 he had been saying
00:31:31.480 to himself
00:31:31.960 it's nothing but the wind
00:31:33.260 in the chimney
00:31:33.880 it's only a mouse
00:31:35.280 crossing the floor
00:31:36.180 or it's merely a cricket
00:31:38.320 who's made a single chirp
00:31:40.360 oh yes
00:31:41.560 he had been trying
00:31:42.520 to comfort himself
00:31:43.540 with these suppositions
00:31:44.680 but he found them
00:31:45.960 all in vain
00:31:46.860 all in vain
00:31:49.300 because death
00:31:51.260 in approaching him
00:31:53.100 had stalked
00:31:54.700 with his black shadow
00:31:56.040 before him
00:31:56.880 and enveloped
00:31:58.320 the victim
00:31:58.920 and it was
00:31:59.960 the mournful influence
00:32:01.480 of the unperceived shadow
00:32:03.500 that caused him
00:32:04.420 to feel
00:32:05.320 although he never
00:32:07.140 saw nor heard
00:32:08.700 to feel
00:32:10.200 the presence
00:32:11.720 of my head
00:32:12.840 within the room
00:32:13.860 when I had waited
00:32:17.100 a very long time
00:32:18.720 very patiently
00:32:20.320 without hearing him
00:32:22.060 lie down
00:32:22.920 I resolved
00:32:24.280 to open a little
00:32:25.360 a very
00:32:26.160 very little
00:32:27.640 crevice
00:32:28.360 in the lantern
00:32:29.060 so I opened it
00:32:31.200 oh you cannot imagine
00:32:33.180 how stealthily
00:32:34.100 stealthily
00:32:35.240 until
00:32:35.820 at length
00:32:37.000 a single
00:32:38.200 dim ray
00:32:39.580 like the thread
00:32:41.000 of a spider
00:32:41.900 shot from the crevice
00:32:43.440 and fell upon
00:32:44.300 the vulture eye
00:32:45.540 it was open
00:32:48.120 it was wide
00:32:50.460 wide open
00:32:51.340 and I grew
00:32:52.000 furious
00:32:52.720 as I gazed
00:32:53.400 upon it
00:32:53.900 I saw it
00:32:54.640 with perfect
00:32:55.280 distinctness
00:32:56.340 a dull blue
00:32:57.560 with a hideous
00:32:58.600 veil over
00:32:59.380 that chilled
00:33:00.200 my very marrow
00:33:01.580 in my bones
00:33:02.560 but I could see
00:33:03.840 nothing else
00:33:04.360 of the old man's
00:33:04.980 face or person
00:33:05.720 for I had
00:33:06.220 directed the ray
00:33:07.260 as if by instinct
00:33:08.480 precisely upon
00:33:09.880 the damned spot
00:33:11.280 and have I not
00:33:12.460 told you
00:33:12.960 that what you
00:33:13.640 mistake for
00:33:14.360 madness
00:33:14.920 is but an
00:33:15.920 over-acuteness
00:33:16.900 of the sense
00:33:17.600 now I say
00:33:20.440 there came
00:33:21.120 to my ears
00:33:21.760 a low
00:33:22.380 dull
00:33:22.980 quick sound
00:33:24.160 such as a watch
00:33:25.820 makes when
00:33:26.260 enveloped in cotton
00:33:27.180 I knew that
00:33:28.880 sound
00:33:29.320 I knew that
00:33:31.620 sound well
00:33:32.200 too
00:33:32.560 it was the
00:33:34.400 beating of
00:33:34.980 the old man's
00:33:35.840 heart
00:33:36.220 it increased
00:33:37.200 my fury
00:33:37.840 as the beating
00:33:38.600 of a drum
00:33:39.220 stimulates a soldier
00:33:40.440 into courage
00:33:41.180 but even
00:33:41.840 yet
00:33:42.180 I refrained
00:33:43.340 I kept
00:33:44.420 still
00:33:44.900 I scarcely
00:33:46.700 breathed
00:33:48.400 I held
00:33:49.380 the lantern
00:33:49.840 motionless
00:33:50.660 I tried
00:33:52.540 how steadily
00:33:53.400 I could
00:33:53.880 maintain
00:33:54.820 the ray
00:33:55.500 upon the
00:33:56.100 eye
00:33:56.600 meantime
00:33:58.160 the hellish
00:33:59.360 tattoo
00:33:59.740 of the heart
00:34:00.740 increased
00:34:01.380 it grew
00:34:01.820 quicker
00:34:02.240 and quicker
00:34:02.940 and louder
00:34:03.680 and louder
00:34:04.280 every instant
00:34:04.960 the old man's
00:34:05.620 terror must have
00:34:06.220 been extreme
00:34:06.760 it grew
00:34:07.220 louder
00:34:07.720 I say louder
00:34:08.740 every moment
00:34:09.340 do you mark
00:34:10.140 me well
00:34:10.680 I told you
00:34:14.500 that I was
00:34:14.980 nervous
00:34:15.480 and so I am
00:34:17.060 and now
00:34:21.700 at the dead
00:34:23.820 hour of night
00:34:24.780 amid the
00:34:26.680 dreadful silence
00:34:27.900 of that old
00:34:28.640 house
00:34:29.080 so strange
00:34:30.540 a noise
00:34:31.140 as this
00:34:31.640 excited me
00:34:32.500 to uncontrollable
00:34:33.280 terror
00:34:33.600 yet
00:34:34.060 for some
00:34:35.240 minutes longer
00:34:36.020 I refrain
00:34:37.240 and stood
00:34:38.720 still
00:34:39.340 but the
00:34:40.240 beating
00:34:40.640 grew louder
00:34:41.680 and louder
00:34:42.720 I thought
00:34:43.960 his heart
00:34:44.280 must burst
00:34:44.920 and then
00:34:45.460 a new
00:34:45.940 anxiety
00:34:46.380 seized me
00:34:47.020 the sound
00:34:48.020 the sound
00:34:49.040 would be heard
00:34:49.520 by a neighbor
00:34:50.040 the old man's
00:34:51.180 hour had come
00:34:51.860 with a loud
00:34:53.040 yell
00:34:53.340 I threw
00:34:53.820 open the
00:34:54.240 lantern
00:34:54.440 and leaped
00:34:54.980 into the room
00:34:55.580 he shrieked
00:34:56.320 once
00:34:56.780 only
00:35:00.140 once
00:35:01.240 in an instant
00:35:03.000 I dragged him
00:35:03.540 to the floor
00:35:03.980 and pulled
00:35:04.660 the heavy
00:35:05.120 bed over him
00:35:05.880 then I smiled
00:35:07.040 gaily
00:35:07.580 to find the
00:35:08.460 deed so far
00:35:09.180 done
00:35:09.520 but for many
00:35:10.300 minutes
00:35:10.620 his heart
00:35:11.340 beat on
00:35:11.980 with a muffled
00:35:12.640 sound
00:35:13.120 this however
00:35:13.920 didn't vex me
00:35:15.300 it would not
00:35:15.980 be heard
00:35:16.380 through the
00:35:16.740 wall
00:35:17.080 at length
00:35:20.720 it ceased
00:35:22.500 the old man
00:35:27.540 was dead
00:35:29.520 I removed
00:35:31.640 the bed
00:35:32.080 and examined
00:35:33.580 the corpse
00:35:34.160 yes
00:35:36.160 he was stone
00:35:38.640 stone dead
00:35:40.700 I placed my
00:35:43.020 hands upon
00:35:43.700 the heart
00:35:44.240 I felt it
00:35:46.900 for many
00:35:47.260 minutes
00:35:47.660 there was no
00:35:49.440 pulsation
00:35:50.180 he was stone
00:35:52.240 dead
00:35:52.680 his eye
00:35:54.820 would trouble
00:35:56.580 me
00:35:57.120 no more
00:35:59.320 if you
00:36:01.700 still think
00:36:02.460 me mad
00:36:02.960 you will
00:36:03.980 think so
00:36:04.400 no longer
00:36:04.940 when I
00:36:05.340 describe
00:36:05.880 the wise
00:36:06.800 precautions
00:36:07.440 I took
00:36:08.040 for the
00:36:08.320 concealment
00:36:09.120 of the
00:36:09.480 body
00:36:09.860 the night
00:36:10.880 waned
00:36:11.320 I worked
00:36:12.200 hastily
00:36:12.660 but in
00:36:13.340 silence
00:36:13.800 first of all
00:36:15.240 I dismembered
00:36:16.240 the corpse
00:36:16.700 I cut off
00:36:17.520 the head
00:36:18.000 and the arms
00:36:18.680 and the legs
00:36:19.320 then I took
00:36:20.400 up three
00:36:20.860 planks
00:36:21.360 from the
00:36:21.740 flooring
00:36:22.100 of the
00:36:22.400 chamber
00:36:22.700 and deposited
00:36:23.660 all between
00:36:24.540 the scantlings
00:36:25.360 then I replaced
00:36:27.020 the board
00:36:27.500 so cleverly
00:36:28.660 so cunningly
00:36:29.860 that no
00:36:30.540 human eye
00:36:31.820 not even
00:36:33.040 his
00:36:33.580 could have
00:36:34.340 detected
00:36:34.780 anything wrong
00:36:35.720 there was
00:36:36.480 nothing to
00:36:36.920 wash out
00:36:37.360 no stain
00:36:38.020 of any
00:36:38.360 kind
00:36:38.700 no blood
00:36:39.420 spot
00:36:39.820 whatever
00:36:40.260 I had
00:36:41.820 been too
00:36:42.300 wary for
00:36:42.920 that
00:36:43.320 a tub
00:36:45.080 had caught
00:36:46.400 it all
00:36:47.000 when I
00:36:51.340 had made
00:36:51.740 an end
00:36:52.340 of these
00:36:53.020 labors
00:36:53.640 it was
00:36:54.380 four o'clock
00:36:55.080 still
00:36:56.340 dark
00:36:57.140 as
00:36:57.420 midnight
00:36:57.920 as
00:36:59.080 the
00:36:59.220 bell
00:36:59.440 sounded
00:36:59.800 the
00:37:00.020 hour
00:37:00.300 there
00:37:01.020 came
00:37:01.200 a
00:37:01.360 knocking
00:37:01.680 at
00:37:01.920 the
00:37:02.040 street
00:37:02.300 door
00:37:02.620 I
00:37:04.080 went
00:37:04.300 down
00:37:04.520 to
00:37:04.680 open it
00:37:05.020 with a
00:37:05.220 light
00:37:05.420 heart
00:37:05.740 for
00:37:05.960 what
00:37:06.460 now
00:37:06.720 do
00:37:06.880 I
00:37:07.060 have
00:37:07.300 to
00:37:07.480 fear
00:37:07.780 there
00:37:08.540 entered
00:37:08.800 three
00:37:09.160 men
00:37:09.460 who
00:37:09.700 introduced
00:37:10.220 themselves
00:37:10.820 with
00:37:11.160 perfect
00:37:11.640 suavity
00:37:12.240 as
00:37:12.640 officers
00:37:13.280 of the
00:37:13.700 police
00:37:14.080 a
00:37:14.840 shriek
00:37:15.300 had been
00:37:15.620 heard
00:37:15.860 by a
00:37:16.220 neighbor
00:37:16.460 during
00:37:16.760 the
00:37:16.920 night
00:37:17.140 suspicion
00:37:18.040 of foul
00:37:18.560 play
00:37:18.960 had been
00:37:19.260 aroused
00:37:19.760 information
00:37:20.500 had been
00:37:21.020 lodged
00:37:21.400 at the
00:37:21.640 police
00:37:21.920 office
00:37:22.260 and
00:37:25.080 outed
00:37:25.280 to
00:37:25.500 search
00:37:25.740 the
00:37:25.940 premises
00:37:26.320 I
00:37:27.040 bade
00:37:27.220 the
00:37:27.360 gentleman
00:37:27.580 welcome
00:37:28.100 the
00:37:28.580 shriek
00:37:28.980 I
00:37:29.140 said
00:37:29.380 was
00:37:29.660 my
00:37:29.880 own
00:37:30.160 in
00:37:30.300 a
00:37:30.420 dream
00:37:30.780 the
00:37:31.140 old
00:37:31.360 man
00:37:31.740 I
00:37:32.040 mentioned
00:37:32.380 was
00:37:32.860 absent
00:37:33.500 in
00:37:33.720 the
00:37:33.840 country
00:37:34.200 I
00:37:35.200 took
00:37:35.400 my
00:37:35.600 visitors
00:37:35.980 all
00:37:36.580 over
00:37:36.820 the
00:37:37.020 house
00:37:37.340 I
00:37:38.200 bade
00:37:38.480 them
00:37:38.680 search
00:37:39.400 search
00:37:40.620 well
00:37:41.060 I
00:37:42.200 led
00:37:42.400 them
00:37:42.580 at
00:37:42.860 length
00:37:43.120 to
00:37:43.340 his
00:37:43.520 chamber
00:37:43.840 I
00:37:44.080 showed
00:37:44.580 them
00:37:44.760 his
00:37:44.980 treasures
00:37:45.420 secure
00:37:46.080 undisturbed
00:37:47.000 in
00:37:47.640 the
00:37:47.780 enthusiasm
00:37:48.280 of
00:37:48.640 my
00:37:48.800 confidence
00:37:49.220 I
00:37:49.640 brought
00:37:49.960 chairs
00:37:50.620 into
00:37:50.900 the
00:37:51.120 room
00:37:51.400 and
00:37:51.840 desired
00:37:52.180 them
00:37:52.440 here
00:37:53.060 to
00:37:53.540 rest
00:37:53.920 from
00:37:54.180 your
00:37:54.380 fatigues
00:37:55.260 while
00:37:55.960 I
00:37:56.220 myself
00:37:56.880 in
00:37:57.440 the
00:37:57.580 wild
00:37:57.920 audacity
00:37:58.580 of
00:37:58.800 my
00:37:58.980 perfect
00:37:59.420 triumph
00:37:59.920 placed
00:38:00.500 my
00:38:00.760 own
00:38:01.120 seat
00:38:01.580 upon
00:38:02.160 the
00:38:02.420 very
00:38:02.740 spot
00:38:03.320 beneath
00:38:03.800 which
00:38:04.100 reposed
00:38:04.880 the
00:38:05.520 corpse
00:38:06.120 of
00:38:06.500 the
00:38:06.660 victim
00:38:06.960 the
00:38:09.440 officers
00:38:09.860 were
00:38:10.600 satisfied
00:38:11.280 my
00:38:12.300 manner
00:38:12.700 convinced
00:38:13.240 them
00:38:13.500 I
00:38:14.180 was
00:38:14.380 simply
00:38:14.960 at
00:38:15.640 ease
00:38:16.100 they
00:38:17.060 sat
00:38:17.480 while
00:38:18.380 I
00:38:18.540 answered
00:38:18.860 cheerily
00:38:19.340 they
00:38:19.580 chatted
00:38:20.200 a
00:38:20.440 familiar
00:38:20.860 thing
00:38:21.380 but
00:38:22.620 ere long
00:38:25.600 I felt
00:38:26.760 myself
00:38:27.140 getting
00:38:27.400 paled
00:38:28.460 and
00:38:28.640 wish
00:38:29.100 them
00:38:29.320 gone
00:38:29.760 I
00:38:30.800 head
00:38:31.480 ached
00:38:31.880 I
00:38:32.880 fancied
00:38:33.280 a
00:38:33.420 ringing
00:38:33.600 in
00:38:33.840 my
00:38:34.040 ears
00:38:34.540 but
00:38:35.340 they
00:38:35.620 sat
00:38:36.320 and
00:38:36.800 still
00:38:37.120 chatted
00:38:37.640 ringing
00:38:39.260 became
00:38:40.640 more
00:38:40.860 distinct
00:38:41.420 I
00:38:42.780 talked
00:38:43.000 more
00:38:43.220 freely
00:38:43.540 to
00:38:43.700 get
00:38:43.840 rid
00:38:43.980 of
00:38:44.080 the
00:38:44.200 feeling
00:38:44.440 but
00:38:44.600 it
00:38:44.740 continued
00:38:45.300 and
00:38:45.600 gained
00:38:46.100 definitiveness
00:38:47.380 until
00:38:48.140 at
00:38:48.560 length
00:38:48.820 I
00:38:49.160 found
00:38:49.520 that
00:38:49.720 the
00:38:49.880 noise
00:38:50.260 was
00:38:50.640 not
00:38:50.920 within
00:38:51.280 my
00:38:51.540 ears
00:38:52.040 now
00:38:53.260 no doubt
00:38:54.520 I
00:38:54.740 grew
00:38:55.320 very
00:38:55.660 pale
00:38:56.080 but
00:38:56.780 I
00:38:56.860 talked
00:38:57.040 more
00:38:57.260 frequently
00:38:57.680 and
00:38:57.940 with a
00:38:58.320 heightened
00:38:58.580 voice
00:38:59.040 yet the
00:38:59.760 sound
00:38:59.980 increased
00:39:00.580 what could I
00:39:01.280 do
00:39:01.480 it was a
00:39:01.960 low
00:39:02.520 dull
00:39:02.940 quick
00:39:03.380 sound
00:39:03.900 much
00:39:05.220 such a
00:39:06.100 sound
00:39:06.420 as a
00:39:06.980 watch
00:39:07.280 makes
00:39:07.720 when
00:39:08.720 enveloped
00:39:09.280 in
00:39:09.440 cotton
00:39:09.720 I
00:39:11.460 gasp
00:39:11.720 I
00:39:12.540 gasped
00:39:13.540 I
00:39:14.400 gasped
00:39:15.840 more
00:39:16.100 vehemently
00:39:16.660 but
00:39:16.800 the
00:39:16.940 noise
00:39:17.500 steadily
00:39:17.920 increased
00:39:18.540 I
00:39:18.860 arose
00:39:19.220 and
00:39:19.400 argued
00:39:19.720 about
00:39:19.960 trifles
00:39:20.540 a
00:39:20.700 high
00:39:21.000 key
00:39:21.420 with
00:39:21.700 violent
00:39:22.400 gesticulations
00:39:23.360 but the
00:39:23.740 noise
00:39:24.080 steadily
00:39:24.520 increased
00:39:25.100 oh why
00:39:25.820 would they
00:39:26.080 not be
00:39:26.440 gone
00:39:26.720 I
00:39:27.060 paced
00:39:27.460 the
00:39:27.640 floor
00:39:28.000 to
00:39:28.360 and
00:39:28.640 fro
00:39:28.880 with
00:39:29.100 heavy
00:39:29.380 strides
00:39:29.900 as if
00:39:30.400 excited
00:39:30.820 to
00:39:31.040 fury
00:39:31.280 by the
00:39:31.580 observations
00:39:32.100 of the
00:39:32.460 men
00:39:32.660 but the
00:39:33.200 noise
00:39:33.540 steadily
00:39:34.060 increased
00:39:34.620 oh god
00:39:35.500 what could
00:39:36.320 I do
00:39:36.740 I phoned
00:39:37.380 I raved
00:39:38.120 I swore
00:39:39.200 I swore
00:39:40.500 the chair
00:39:40.980 in which I
00:39:41.360 had been
00:39:41.640 sitting
00:39:41.960 and grated
00:39:42.700 it across
00:39:43.260 the boards
00:39:43.820 but the
00:39:44.160 noise
00:39:44.540 arose
00:39:45.020 over all
00:39:45.920 and continually
00:39:46.880 increased
00:39:47.620 it grew
00:39:48.220 louder
00:39:48.840 and louder
00:39:49.700 and louder
00:39:50.320 and still
00:39:51.060 the men
00:39:51.740 chatted
00:39:52.200 pleasantly
00:39:52.780 and smiled
00:39:53.680 was it
00:39:54.260 possible
00:39:54.680 they heard
00:39:55.100 not
00:39:55.380 almighty
00:39:56.060 god
00:39:56.540 no
00:39:56.980 no
00:39:57.560 they heard
00:39:58.320 they suspected
00:39:59.260 they knew
00:39:59.940 they were
00:40:00.840 making a
00:40:01.380 mockery
00:40:01.920 of my
00:40:02.300 horror
00:40:02.740 this
00:40:03.420 I thought
00:40:04.000 and this
00:40:04.400 I think
00:40:04.900 but anything
00:40:05.660 was better
00:40:06.160 than this
00:40:06.640 agony
00:40:07.220 anything
00:40:08.080 was more
00:40:08.600 tolerable
00:40:09.120 than this
00:40:09.520 derision
00:40:10.020 I could bear
00:40:11.000 those hypocritical
00:40:11.980 smiles
00:40:12.400 no longer
00:40:12.980 I felt
00:40:13.580 that I must
00:40:14.020 scream
00:40:14.440 or die
00:40:15.040 and now
00:40:15.560 again
00:40:16.080 hark
00:40:16.800 hark
00:40:17.560 louder
00:40:18.540 and louder
00:40:19.640 and louder
00:40:20.680 villains
00:40:21.960 I shrieked
00:40:23.100 dissemble
00:40:23.980 no more
00:40:24.760 I admit
00:40:25.840 the deed
00:40:26.500 tear up
00:40:27.400 the planks
00:40:28.260 here
00:40:29.240 here
00:40:30.440 is the
00:40:30.960 beating
00:40:31.540 of his
00:40:32.160 hideous
00:40:33.000 hark
00:40:33.700 happy
00:40:39.920 halloween
00:40:40.720 to my
00:40:42.000 daughter

00:41:14.240 sister
00:41:14.540 elizabeth
00:41:15.080 anxiously
00:41:16.180 waited for
00:41:16.820 their dad
00:41:17.200 to get
00:41:17.480 home from
00:41:17.860 work
00:41:18.160 it was
00:41:19.240 halloween
00:41:19.600 it was
00:41:19.800 october
00:41:20.140 31st
00:41:20.920 they were
00:41:21.880 so excited
00:41:23.100 to go
00:41:23.400 trick-or-treating
00:41:24.020 as soon
00:41:25.800 as they
00:41:26.380 heard
00:41:26.740 the
00:41:26.980 doorknob
00:41:27.540 turn
00:41:28.060 they
00:41:28.420 rushed
00:41:29.040 him
00:41:29.360 at the
00:41:29.740 door
00:41:30.020 as he
00:41:30.480 walked
00:41:30.720 through
00:41:30.960 still
00:41:31.340 clad
00:41:32.140 in his
00:41:32.500 white
00:41:32.800 optician's
00:41:33.640 coat
00:41:33.920 Ronald
00:41:35.400 rounded up
00:41:36.040 his young
00:41:36.540 children
00:41:36.900 and he
00:41:37.500 went out
00:41:38.020 trick-or-treating
00:41:38.880 remembering
00:41:40.260 the times
00:41:40.960 when he
00:41:41.640 was trick-or-treating
00:41:42.580 now
00:41:43.460 wondering
00:41:44.400 how did
00:41:44.960 I get
00:41:45.240 so old
00:41:45.960 as I'm
00:41:46.480 walking
00:41:46.900 my kids
00:41:47.640 down the
00:41:48.140 street
00:41:48.440 he
00:41:50.260 accompanied
00:41:50.620 his
00:41:50.880 children
00:41:51.120 to their
00:41:51.500 friend's
00:41:52.120 first stop
00:41:53.000 of the
00:41:53.280 night
00:41:53.600 4112
00:41:55.340 don't
00:41:56.200 rail
00:41:56.540 drive
00:41:57.320 he rang
00:41:59.360 the doorbell
00:41:59.920 nothing
00:42:01.120 the owners
00:42:03.400 were taking
00:42:04.020 much too
00:42:04.800 long to
00:42:05.160 answer the
00:42:05.540 door
00:42:05.780 children
00:42:06.400 impatiently
00:42:07.160 ran to
00:42:07.520 the next
00:42:07.820 house
00:42:08.080 leaving
00:42:08.420 their
00:42:08.640 dad
00:42:09.100 in the
00:42:09.380 dust
00:42:09.620 when
00:42:10.260 Ronald
00:42:10.640 finally
00:42:11.080 caught up
00:42:11.540 with
00:42:11.640 the
00:42:11.780 kids
00:42:12.160 he
00:42:13.020 was
00:42:13.260 sporting
00:42:13.680 five
00:42:14.340 giant
00:42:14.900 pixie
00:42:15.480 sticks
00:42:15.860 the
00:42:16.840 children
00:42:17.180 all
00:42:17.560 greedily
00:42:18.040 grabbed
00:42:18.500 the
00:42:18.760 neon
00:42:19.100 sticks
00:42:19.460 of
00:42:19.660 sugar
00:42:19.940 but
00:42:20.560 Ronald
00:42:20.820 promised
00:42:21.240 he
00:42:21.440 would
00:42:21.580 distribute
00:42:21.880 the
00:42:22.100 candy
00:42:22.400 among
00:42:22.680 the
00:42:22.880 children
00:42:23.200 when
00:42:23.520 they
00:42:23.640 got
00:42:23.780 back
00:42:24.080 to
00:42:24.200 the
00:42:24.320 house
00:42:24.560 after
00:42:24.780 all
00:42:25.040 he
00:42:25.200 was
00:42:25.360 the
00:42:25.480 one
00:42:25.620 that
00:42:25.740 waited
00:42:26.060 it
00:42:27.540 was
00:42:27.660 really
00:42:27.880 late
00:42:28.260 when
00:42:28.500 they
00:42:28.620 got
00:42:28.780 home
00:42:29.240 he
00:42:29.940 got
00:42:30.060 the
00:42:30.180 kids
00:42:30.340 ready
00:42:30.520 for
00:42:30.720 bed
00:42:30.980 but
00:42:31.220 before
00:42:31.700 he
00:42:31.860 fell
00:42:32.000 asleep
00:42:32.340 Timothy
00:42:33.340 requested
00:42:33.900 a treat
00:42:34.400 from his
00:42:34.840 delicious
00:42:35.220 haul
00:42:35.660 he chose
00:42:36.660 the
00:42:36.940 crown
00:42:37.380 jewel
00:42:37.860 a
00:42:38.580 22
00:42:39.180 22
00:42:39.200 22
00:42:39.220 22
00:42:39.240 inch
00:42:39.720 giant
00:42:40.320 pixie
00:42:40.880 stick
00:42:41.260 the
00:42:42.260 sugar
00:42:42.560 had
00:42:42.860 stiffened
00:42:44.040 some
00:42:44.460 in the
00:42:44.920 tube
00:42:45.260 so
00:42:45.560 Ronald
00:42:46.300 helpfully
00:42:46.940 rolled
00:42:47.520 the candy
00:42:48.020 between
00:42:48.340 his
00:42:48.600 hands
00:42:48.940 to loosen
00:42:49.360 the contents
00:42:50.020 for
00:42:50.260 Timothy
00:42:50.580 the
00:42:51.420 child
00:42:51.720 hurriedly
00:42:52.240 poured
00:42:52.620 the
00:42:52.820 confection
00:42:53.360 into
00:42:53.680 his
00:42:53.900 mouth
00:42:54.300 Timothy
00:42:55.620 recoiled
00:42:56.500 it didn't
00:42:57.120 taste
00:42:57.600 dad
00:42:58.060 like it's
00:42:58.640 supposed
00:42:59.160 to
00:42:59.500 in fact
00:43:00.500 it tasted
00:43:01.060 awful
00:43:01.640 dad
00:43:02.660 jumped
00:43:03.000 up
00:43:03.320 Ronald
00:43:03.680 dutifully
00:43:04.140 ran
00:43:04.520 to get
00:43:04.840 some
00:43:05.060 kool-aid
00:43:05.480 for his
00:43:05.920 son
00:43:06.140 to wash
00:43:06.600 out
00:43:06.840 the bad
00:43:07.280 taste
00:43:07.860 but
00:43:08.860 the
00:43:09.040 kool-aid
00:43:09.500 didn't
00:43:10.020 make
00:43:10.220 it
00:43:10.340 very
00:43:10.600 far
00:43:11.020 Timothy
00:43:12.260 immediately
00:43:13.260 started
00:43:13.820 vomiting
00:43:14.360 and convulsing
00:43:15.400 when the
00:43:16.940 ambulance
00:43:17.320 finally
00:43:17.740 arrived
00:43:18.220 they found
00:43:18.760 Ronald
00:43:19.080 holding
00:43:19.520 Timothy
00:43:19.980 as he
00:43:20.460 foamed
00:43:20.900 from
00:43:21.180 the
00:43:21.340 mouth
00:43:21.680 less
00:43:22.460 than
00:43:22.680 an
00:43:22.800 hour
00:43:22.960 later
00:43:23.380 Timothy
00:43:24.700 was
00:43:25.140 pronounced
00:43:25.480 dead
00:43:25.940 at the
00:43:26.180 hospital
00:43:26.660 an
00:43:28.100 autopsy
00:43:28.640 revealed
00:43:29.100 the
00:43:29.740 eight-year-old
00:43:30.340 had died
00:43:30.860 from a
00:43:31.260 fatal
00:43:31.500 dose
00:43:31.900 of
00:43:32.220 cyanide
00:43:32.860 the
00:43:34.380 two
00:43:34.700 top
00:43:35.100 inches
00:43:35.420 of the
00:43:35.920 giant
00:43:36.260 pixie
00:43:36.740 stick
00:43:37.080 Timothy
00:43:38.160 prized
00:43:38.960 so much
00:43:39.500 contained
00:43:40.620 a dosage
00:43:41.260 of cyanide
00:43:42.340 that was
00:43:42.740 enough to
00:43:43.300 kill two
00:43:44.020 adults
00:43:44.480 thankfully the
00:43:46.660 other poison
00:43:47.360 pixie sticks
00:43:48.140 remained
00:43:48.640 untouched
00:43:49.340 ronald
00:43:51.640 sobbed
00:43:52.960 as he
00:43:53.720 hypothesized
00:43:55.380 at what
00:43:55.840 an
00:43:56.680 unidentified
00:43:57.460 monster
00:43:58.320 was handing
00:43:59.660 out to
00:44:00.280 children
00:44:00.720 he told
00:44:03.220 the police
00:44:03.820 officers he
00:44:04.420 vaguely
00:44:04.720 remembered
00:44:05.100 getting the
00:44:05.600 candy from
00:44:06.280 4112
00:44:07.600 don't rail
00:44:08.820 drive
00:44:09.540 he didn't
00:44:11.000 get a look
00:44:11.480 at the
00:44:11.840 owner
00:44:12.200 he only
00:44:13.100 saw a
00:44:13.700 shadowy
00:44:14.160 arm
00:44:14.480 when
00:44:17.300 police
00:44:17.700 arrived
00:44:18.420 at
00:44:19.140 4112
00:44:20.120 they
00:44:21.200 questioned
00:44:21.700 the
00:44:22.060 melvins
00:44:22.680 but they
00:44:23.700 were
00:44:23.840 confounded
00:44:24.300 when they
00:44:24.640 learned
00:44:24.840 mr melvin
00:44:25.580 didn't
00:44:25.980 return home
00:44:26.540 from work
00:44:27.040 until 1030
00:44:28.060 that night
00:44:28.820 of halloween
00:44:29.520 and mrs melvin
00:44:30.820 stopped answering
00:44:31.780 the door
00:44:32.240 when she ran
00:44:32.800 out of candy
00:44:33.360 at 645
00:44:34.320 that's before
00:44:35.680 ronald
00:44:36.340 said he
00:44:36.900 was there
00:44:37.460 not to
00:44:38.480 mention
00:44:38.820 that none
00:44:39.760 of the candy
00:44:40.360 that mrs melvin
00:44:41.420 gave out
00:44:42.060 that night
00:44:42.660 were pixie
00:44:43.700 sticks
00:44:44.100 police
00:44:46.640 interrogated
00:44:47.420 the entire
00:44:48.040 neighborhood
00:44:48.560 and still
00:44:49.400 couldn't
00:44:50.320 find the
00:44:50.840 source
00:44:51.200 of the
00:44:51.880 deadly
00:44:52.140 candy
00:44:52.640 the dad
00:44:54.300 who had
00:44:56.400 watched his
00:44:57.000 children rush
00:44:57.820 to his
00:44:58.300 legs to
00:44:58.980 say please
00:44:59.760 dad let's
00:45:00.540 go it's
00:45:01.380 halloween
00:45:01.980 was beside
00:45:03.580 himself
00:45:04.300 already having
00:45:06.500 a terrible
00:45:07.600 year and
00:45:08.320 his son's
00:45:09.320 death appeared
00:45:09.900 to push him
00:45:10.440 over the edge
00:45:11.120 with grief
00:45:11.680 he was
00:45:12.640 $100,000
00:45:13.480 in debt
00:45:14.300 8 months
00:45:15.280 behind in
00:45:15.920 car payments
00:45:16.620 was being
00:45:17.200 threatened
00:45:17.620 with repossession
00:45:18.920 he held
00:45:20.300 21 jobs
00:45:21.460 in the last
00:45:22.040 10 years
00:45:22.740 and he was
00:45:23.940 struggling hard
00:45:24.760 to keep his
00:45:25.340 latest
00:45:25.940 optician
00:45:26.820 gig
00:45:27.260 he further
00:45:28.960 strained
00:45:29.560 the family
00:45:29.940 financing
00:45:30.440 by taking
00:45:31.080 out a
00:45:31.420 $10,000
00:45:32.060 life insurance
00:45:32.960 policy
00:45:33.440 on his
00:45:34.280 children
00:45:34.660 earlier in
00:45:35.320 the year
00:45:35.740 to which
00:45:36.360 his wife
00:45:37.140 protested
00:45:37.920 as an
00:45:38.320 unnecessary
00:45:38.800 expense
00:45:39.660 she
00:45:40.840 probably
00:45:41.280 would have
00:45:41.620 objected
00:45:42.100 to the
00:45:42.340 additional
00:45:42.740 two
00:45:43.340 $20,000
00:45:44.380 life insurance
00:45:45.200 policies
00:45:45.700 that Ronald
00:45:46.740 took out
00:45:47.260 on Timothy
00:45:47.820 and Elizabeth
00:45:48.420 on October
00:45:49.840 3rd
00:45:50.580 if she had
00:45:51.900 known about
00:45:52.320 them
00:45:52.620 Mrs. O'Brien
00:45:54.860 would have
00:45:55.520 also been
00:45:55.900 horrified to
00:45:56.600 find out
00:45:57.060 that mere
00:45:57.940 hours after
00:45:58.700 Timothy's
00:45:59.220 murder
00:45:59.580 her husband
00:46:00.840 called to
00:46:01.460 collect on
00:46:02.180 the policies
00:46:02.800 Ronald
00:46:06.220 was a man
00:46:06.880 who had
00:46:07.280 never had
00:46:07.900 a parking
00:46:08.460 ticket
00:46:08.940 in his
00:46:09.440 life
00:46:09.820 by all
00:46:11.340 accounts
00:46:11.780 he was
00:46:12.180 a dedicated
00:46:12.880 father
00:46:13.360 and a devout
00:46:14.120 member
00:46:14.440 of the
00:46:14.820 Second
00:46:15.060 Baptist
00:46:15.460 Church
00:46:15.980 but it
00:46:17.880 only took
00:46:18.240 a jury
00:46:18.660 46 minutes
00:46:19.720 to find
00:46:20.320 Ronald
00:46:20.680 guilty
00:46:21.120 of
00:46:21.500 capital
00:46:21.900 murder
00:46:22.300 and
00:46:22.960 four
00:46:23.360 counts
00:46:23.840 of
00:46:24.180 attempted
00:46:24.580 murder
00:46:25.020 Ronald
00:46:27.560 didn't
00:46:28.200 just
00:46:28.480 kill
00:46:28.720 his
00:46:28.900 own
00:46:29.100 son
00:46:29.480 he
00:46:30.420 is
00:46:30.700 the
00:46:30.860 man
00:46:31.100 responsible
00:46:31.700 for
00:46:32.380 killing
00:46:32.780 Halloween
00:46:33.300 for
00:46:33.780 generations
00:46:34.620 of
00:46:35.140 children
00:46:35.520 yet
00:46:36.000 to be
00:46:36.340 born
00:46:36.640 he's
00:46:38.000 the
00:46:38.180 reason
00:46:38.580 we
00:46:38.980 had
00:46:39.200 to
00:46:39.300 go
00:46:39.420 to
00:46:39.540 the
00:46:39.680 hospital
00:46:40.080 to
00:46:40.300 have
00:46:40.460 them
00:46:40.620 x-ray
00:46:41.160 everything
00:46:41.640 he's
00:46:42.480 the
00:46:42.640 reason
00:46:43.000 we
00:46:43.240 could
00:46:43.420 no
00:46:43.680 longer
00:46:44.060 have
00:46:44.360 popcorn
00:46:44.880 balls
00:46:45.420 or
00:46:46.160 candied
00:46:47.380 apples
00:46:47.840 Ronald
00:46:49.920 Clark
00:46:50.760 O'Brien
00:46:51.420 also
00:46:52.740 known
00:46:53.080 as
00:46:53.380 the
00:46:53.700 candy
00:46:54.100 man
00:46:54.500 by
00:46:54.720 his
00:46:54.940 fellow
00:46:55.260 death
00:46:55.540 row
00:46:55.760 inmates
00:46:56.200 successfully
00:46:57.660 perpetuated
00:46:58.520 the
00:46:58.820 decades
00:46:59.480 old
00:46:59.900 myth
00:47:00.320 that
00:47:01.160 some
00:47:01.780 despicable
00:47:02.780 people
00:47:03.540 violate
00:47:04.300 Snickers
00:47:04.940 and
00:47:05.340 Milky Way
00:47:05.940 bars
00:47:06.340 with the
00:47:06.840 intent
00:47:07.300 on
00:47:07.940 mercilessly
00:47:08.700 killing
00:47:09.200 innocent
00:47:09.720 children
00:47:10.160 the
00:47:12.120 truth
00:47:12.540 is
00:47:12.980 and you
00:47:13.560 should
00:47:13.740 know
00:47:13.980 it
00:47:14.140 this
00:47:14.420 Halloween
00:47:14.860 police
00:47:16.200 have
00:47:16.660 never
00:47:17.380 documented
00:47:18.460 an
00:47:18.820 actual
00:47:19.340 case
00:47:19.840 of
00:47:20.160 anyone
00:47:20.720 randomly
00:47:21.540 distributing
00:47:22.280 poison
00:47:22.960 goodies
00:47:23.340 to
00:47:23.860 children
00:47:24.540 on
00:47:25.200 Halloween
00:47:25.760 there
00:47:27.100 is
00:47:27.320 no
00:47:27.600 madman
00:47:28.320 giving
00:47:28.620 out
00:47:28.960 apples
00:47:29.420 with
00:47:29.700 razors
00:47:30.200 no
00:47:30.520 arsenic
00:47:31.140 laced
00:47:31.580 twix
00:47:32.120 but in
00:47:33.660 1974
00:47:34.520 there was
00:47:35.820 one
00:47:36.380 monster
00:47:36.920 who
00:47:37.520 deliberately
00:47:38.080 put
00:47:38.480 cyanide
00:47:39.200 in a
00:47:39.840 pixie
00:47:40.200 stick
00:47:40.520 his
00:47:41.860 his
00:47:41.880 victim
00:47:42.180 wasn't
00:47:42.540 at
00:47:42.680 random
00:47:43.040 his
00:47:44.500 victim
00:47:44.800 was
00:47:45.060 his
00:47:45.200 own
00:47:45.420 child
00:47:45.920 so
00:47:47.580 this
00:47:48.820 Halloween
00:47:49.220 let
00:47:50.400 your
00:47:50.580 kids
00:47:50.860 eat
00:47:51.140 their
00:47:51.320 candy
00:47:51.720 don't
00:47:52.820 scare
00:47:53.200 them
00:47:53.520 with a
00:47:53.900 legend
00:47:54.240 that
00:47:54.560 just
00:47:54.900 isn't
00:47:55.340 true
00:47:55.780 but
00:47:56.940 I
00:47:57.080 also
00:47:57.840 wouldn't
00:47:58.240 tell
00:47:58.440 them
00:47:58.580 about
00:47:58.840 Timothy
00:47:59.260 either
00:47:59.780 the
00:48:00.360 blaze
00:48:00.780 radio
00:48:01.140 network
00:48:01.800 on
00:48:05.060 demand
