Transcript

00:00:00.000 Hello America. I would like to remind you today to not be a goldfish. You will understand that
00:00:07.400 as we get into the podcast today. We're talking impeachment. It's Stu's first day back. When he
00:00:15.300 left, they were talking about impeachment of Kavanaugh. A week later, we're talking about
00:00:21.660 impeachment with Trump and the Kavanaugh thing is a thing of the past. Hello, goldfish. We'll
00:00:26.360 talk about that. Treason and those who are asking for Trump to be executed now. Nick DiPaolo is on.
00:00:33.080 We go over the transcript with Nick DiPaolo. And then we hear from you, the listener, on
00:00:40.700 what does this mean? What should the president even do? I think he should just ignore it and say,
00:00:48.120 okay, yet another time the media has hyped something, told you something that wasn't true.
00:00:54.900 The Democrats are unhinged. I'm going back to work for the American people. I'm not paying
00:01:00.300 attention to any of this crap. It's a circus. I'm going to go do work because there are things that
00:01:07.380 we have to solve for the American people. And I think he would win. I think the American people
00:01:13.620 would appreciate that. We'll see what happens. All on today's podcast.
00:01:24.380 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:01:28.320 Welcome back, Stu. Thank you, Glenn. Excited to be here. Yeah. Now, what's the last thing you
00:01:39.200 recall? Well, you mentioned impeachment. And I do remember this being a big focus. Yes. They
00:01:44.420 are very pumped up about impeachment. Well, they announced yesterday they're going forward with it.
00:01:49.360 So Kavanaugh, there was some actual details. Now, there's a slight wrinkle in this story. When you
00:01:58.760 left, yes, the press, the New York Times had come out with a whistleblower that said Kavanaugh had done
00:02:08.700 all these things. That turned out to not be true. And so last week, yes, we were talking about
00:02:15.860 impeachment, but they were all gung ho on impeaching Brett Kavanaugh. Right, right. I've only been out
00:02:22.720 for a week. You left, you left on, you left on Wednesday, right? Well, something happened on
00:02:29.760 Wednesday. We had another whistleblower. On Kavanaugh? No, no. On Ukraine and, and Trump. Now,
00:02:41.440 we don't. Ukraine and Trump. Yeah. We don't. Not Ukraine and Biden. That was where the whistleblowers
00:02:48.300 that I had heard about. No, no, that was, that's old news. Okay. Uh, no, um, that's quite honestly
00:02:55.820 today. That's now what about ism? I'll explain in a minute. Uh, so we have a new whistleblower
00:03:04.080 who we don't know who said that the president threatened to hold back funding if they didn't
00:03:11.740 give him dirt on Joe Biden and his son. Okay. But the, we need more dirt on the Joe Biden
00:03:20.500 and his son with Ukraine thing. Apparently we do. Okay. Because the press says there's
00:03:24.840 nothing to that story. Uh, and so. It came from the press. It was reported by the New York
00:03:30.960 Times. I know, but there was nothing to that story. Okay. Um, so that's a conspiracy theory
00:03:36.320 now. Wow. I really have missed some updates. Okay. You've missed a lot. So now that's a
00:03:42.480 conspiracy theory. Uh, and, uh, Donald Trump is only bringing this up because he is trying
00:03:50.460 to get out of his threatening, uh, verbiage on this phone call that a whistleblower, well,
00:03:58.500 I was going to say heard, cause that's the way it was first presented, but it turns out
00:04:03.420 the whistleblower did hear about this, but it may have been at a bar. It wasn't even
00:04:08.920 at work. Okay. It had nothing to do with his work related duties. So he heard someone talk
00:04:15.760 about how the president was withholding funds. And so he blew the whistle to Congress and they're
00:04:24.200 moving forward with impeachment papers. Now the president says he didn't do this. You
00:04:31.300 ready? Uh-huh. President said he didn't do this and he's going to release the transcript
00:04:37.920 of that conversation. And he's also going to release the IG report, which apparently shows
00:04:46.620 that the whistleblower was dismissed by the attorney general because the whistleblower has it out
00:04:53.680 for Donald Trump is political operative. Oh my God. These news cycles. There's been 40 of them in
00:05:01.560 the past five days. Yeah. So you're with the rest of America. This has happened so fast still,
00:05:09.360 but the whole, all of America is going like, like last night was anybody else going, wait,
00:05:14.840 you're going to file articles of impeachment. No, no, no, no. Sorry. Sorry. That's another story.
00:05:20.060 They're not even filing articles of impeachment. They're not actually doing impeachment because
00:05:24.280 they have to vote on impeachment. The whole house has to vote. Can they move forward with
00:05:29.200 an impeachment proceedings? So nothing really is changing. They're just saying, you know,
00:05:35.660 it's, it's like Michael Scott and, uh, I declare bankruptcy. I declare bankruptcy.
00:05:41.740 Right. That's not how you declare bankruptcy. That's right. Exactly right. So Nancy Pelosi said,
00:05:46.160 I declare impeachment. It doesn't really mean anything. It doesn't really do anything. It
00:05:51.500 doesn't do anything. You have to actually vote on. Yes. Yes, you do. This is a fascinating,
00:05:56.740 but you know, well, Pelosi's an interesting part of this, right? Because she has been the one
00:06:00.600 supposedly holding this up the whole time. Yes. They went through two years of investigation
00:06:04.960 on Russia and she didn't pull the trigger. But now in the time when I went on vacation in the last
00:06:10.600 week, she's changed her mind on this story where there's no investigation. She's changed her mind.
00:06:14.780 There's no investigation on it. She doesn't even have the transcript of the call and she's already
00:06:18.760 for impeachment on this issue. I was just thinking when she was announcing it yesterday at five
00:06:23.040 o'clock Eastern time, I thought to myself, you know, in 18 hours, you're either going to have
00:06:27.860 evidence or not. And we found, I thought pretty clearly that if you just wait for the evidence
00:06:33.480 and the Mueller report, for example, we probably wouldn't have been worked up all that time.
00:06:38.360 No, they're not going to do that. No, that is a, so we've gone, we, we have now gone into
00:06:44.060 impeachment without going into impeachment. It's just not on Kavanaugh. It's on Trump and
00:06:48.980 it's not on the whistleblower that was discredited for Kavanaugh. It's a new whistleblower that we
00:06:54.860 have no idea of what he even said. And neither, neither does, neither does Congress, but they're
00:07:02.160 already for the impeachment. They're already for the impeachment. This does not sound like
00:07:05.520 the action of a party that is confident it's going to win the next election. You think?
00:07:10.720 That does not. Does it seem to you like maybe they're in favor of chaos?
00:07:16.420 I could. Yeah, it kind of does feel that way. It's almost like their, their hope is,
00:07:22.740 hey, maybe everybody will be so tired of this and, uh, they'll just go, I can't, we just can't have,
00:07:28.440 you know, president Trump, he does stupid things from time to time and the press and everybody's
00:07:34.180 so against him. I'm so sick of everything. Uh, what do you say? Spin a wheel. Uh, okay.
00:07:41.920 Andrew Yang is president. I mean, I think that's their hail Mary pass here is, is just,
00:07:50.640 it's anybody, but Trump, anybody, but Trump, but I don't know. I, I mean, but if you have anybody,
00:07:58.500 but Trump is easy. You have an election coming up in a year. This they're jumping on this bandwagon
00:08:04.400 in this short of a period of time makes me feel like they don't think they're going to win this
00:08:08.380 thing. There is a chance. There is a chance that in the next five weeks, the president resigns in shame
00:08:18.060 and we have president, uh, Mike Pence. Don't think it's a good chance, but there's a chance.
00:08:24.060 We also have a chance that the president has, has, is going to nail boards across the windows
00:08:32.380 of all media outlets because they've all gone out of business because they've so discredited themselves
00:08:39.120 that this is the last straw. I mean, let's remind people it was a week ago.
00:08:46.560 The press was all in a tither because they were going to impeach Brett Kavanaugh. Remember it was
00:08:55.900 a week ago and they were discredited and we thought, Oh, well, the press, no, he's going to
00:09:03.580 listen to the press. Now they've been discredited. Oh no. Huh? Same organizations now saying this,
00:09:11.500 which is leading to an impeachment frenzy for the president. Now at some point, you're going to board
00:09:18.720 up the windows. You know what I mean? At some point, everybody be like, I mean, you want to talk
00:09:23.600 about the boy that cried wolf. This is, by the way, you, you, you missed all the global warming.
00:09:29.840 Wonderful. Just the speeches from the children were beautiful. Uh, it is absolute child abuse.
00:09:37.560 What is happening right now. But again, you're going to board up the windows because even the IPCC,
00:09:44.420 uh, report, the people who wrote that damn report are saying, guys, we're not dead in 10 years. I just
00:09:51.220 want you to know it's, it's not extinction level. It is that we're, we're not saying that who's saying
00:09:59.460 this 10 year thing besides AOC. Now the press and everybody let these kids go on TV saying,
00:10:05.700 had you stolen my childhood? We're all going to be dead in 10 years. And everybody said, Oh my gosh,
00:10:12.120 look at them. How dare you criticize? Oh yeah. One of the, one of those children. That's one of those
00:10:18.440 things where the, the Lord works in mysterious ways. He sure does. And it's very mysterious right
00:10:23.660 now. And he, uh, he, you know, he comes to, how does he, how do you provide for your family?
00:10:29.660 I did see a clip of, of, of the climate protesters. And I thought me being on vacation while a 16 year
00:10:36.340 old is lecturing me about how evil I am over the climate. It's probably a good week for me to be
00:10:41.540 on vacation. Probably, probably see, probably is poor Wells Fargo and their, their mortgage payments.
00:10:47.600 Yes. So they should be made for a little bit longer. So today, today we're going to get the
00:10:53.480 transcript and it's, by the way, it's not a transcript. We don't tape the phone calls of
00:10:58.820 the president. So don't be surprised. I'm going to, I'll, I'll tell you how this is all going to
00:11:03.480 play out in the press, but first the transcript comes out, but it's not a transcript. It's a memo.
00:11:08.760 It's a memo of what happened on the phone call and the recollection of like four people that were
00:11:14.500 witnesses to the phone call. They do this and they put it in a file. So the first thing is he
00:11:20.280 didn't even release a transcript. There is no transcript. There is no transcript. We don't
00:11:26.180 tape the president's phone calls. Hello, Nixon. They kind of got away from the recording everything.
00:11:35.460 So the first thing they're going to say is this isn't even a transcript. We want the audio. Why won't
00:11:41.500 he release the audio? There is no audio. Then they're going to say, uh, well, the IG report
00:11:50.200 and this transcript, we can't tell anything from this. We can't tell a darn thing. So now they're
00:11:57.700 going to get the evidence that there wasn't anything. My guess is there is something in
00:12:02.440 there, something little, but it's going to be able to be read either way. And they're going to say,
00:12:07.040 see this shows it is. And the press will assume the worst and they will continue to go forward
00:12:14.520 last night. Now, if you've been following this at home, you know that what this started with
00:12:24.480 impeachment because he would not release the IG report. He wouldn't release the IG report. If you
00:12:32.420 won't release the transcript and you won't release the IG report, well, that is your, you're, you're
00:12:39.800 violating the constitution and you have to, we're going to impeach him because he will not release
00:12:46.140 the IG report and he will not release the transcript. So then he says, okay, I'm going to release the
00:12:52.640 transcript and I'm going to release the IG report. They go ahead with impeachment. And after she says
00:13:01.700 impeachment, this is a quote from CBS news, this president doesn't care about the presidency,
00:13:09.640 he only cares about himself. He is going to release the transcript. What foreign leader now will trust
00:13:18.680 any of our presidents going forward that their conversation will be kept confidential? Unreal.
00:13:25.400 I mean, do we, do, are we goldfish? Are we goldfish? Because I really feel like I'm living
00:13:35.340 in a world of goldfish because everybody's just turning around in five seconds. They've forgotten
00:13:40.780 what just happened. You forgot that last week they were doing this with Kavanaugh and the same people
00:13:47.780 who told you Kavanaugh was guilty have been discredited. And you're listening to him again.
00:13:52.320 Hello, goldfish of America. What is wrong with you? It's really incredible. And there's so much more
00:14:01.200 to tell. Just want you to know, this president, he doesn't care about the presidency. How are foreign
00:14:07.780 leaders ever going to trust him? You were saying that he had to release it. This is damned if you do,
00:14:15.040 damned if you don't. And this, I want to remind you, goldfish, you're not even sheep anymore.
00:14:21.880 Americans aren't even sheep. They're goldfish. We're swimming in a sea of 350 million goldfish.
00:14:31.720 This, damned if you do, damned if you don't, is coming from the party of fairness.
00:14:38.780 The party of fairness. We, we know what fair is. Really? I guarantee you the transcript won't
00:14:46.900 matter today. I guarantee you no matter what the IG report says, it won't matter today.
00:14:51.680 They both could say, they could have the Ukrainian president on saying, please, Mr. President,
00:14:58.540 please threaten me. No, I'm not going to do it. It's wrong. Please, Mr. President, please. I've got
00:15:06.800 information on Joe Biden. I'm not going to hear it, Mr. Prime Minister.
00:15:11.780 You could have that on the tape and they would find a way. Did you see what, did you see what,
00:15:19.580 yeah, that's what the words say. But we can't tell without hearing the inflection. We can't tell
00:15:27.400 without hearing the pauses what he really meant. Anybody who thinks, well, I got nothing to hide.
00:15:34.840 Really? Listen up. This transcript will not matter today. It will go to inflection, his intent,
00:15:47.360 what was in his heart. But they know because they're the party of fairness. They're now accusing
00:15:53.440 the right of whataboutism. Oh, yeah, this is just the right playing whataboutism. No, you have to be
00:16:00.680 the first in with a story to claim that. And the Joe Biden, Hunter Biden story, we've been on for
00:16:06.960 months, for months. This isn't whataboutism. This is, wait a minute. You're just, wait, you're saying
00:16:17.120 that the president shouldn't say, hey, I'd like to know about our vice president. Was he in dirty
00:16:23.320 dealings? Because we lost $1.8 billion? Because Joe Biden said, yeah, just, we're going to give you
00:16:32.260 this. It's going to go to Burisma and some other things, whatever you decide. But put it into this
00:16:39.300 bank. We're going to transfer it into this bank, which was owned by the corrupt oligarch of Burisma,
00:16:45.840 and it just disappeared. Does anybody want to know what happened to $1.8 billion of your tax money?
00:16:54.320 I would. I would. Let's trust the Congress to get to the bottom of that. Not a chance. Trust the
00:17:03.660 Justice Department. Not a chance. The intel. Not a chance. This administration. No. The media.
00:17:13.180 Absolutely not. So who is going to ask for it? You no longer have anything you can trust.
00:17:20.780 Trust. Everything you thought was solid is now liquid.
00:17:28.140 Look, the reason why they're saying this is whataboutism now is because they control something
00:17:32.580 called what we used to call in radio, cume. And as a programmer, I used to play the cume
00:17:38.620 thing all the time. Whoever has the most listeners. You might have people who are very, very loyal to
00:17:46.640 your station. It doesn't matter. Whoever has the most listeners, even if they are listening only for
00:17:53.380 five minutes a day and they're listening to their favorite station all day long. The one who has the
00:17:59.120 most listeners, you can steal anything. Number one hit music station. You're as long as they don't
00:18:07.160 have a lot of listeners. The very next day, if you get on and say you're the number one hit music
00:18:12.560 station, everyone will believe they stole it from you. Okay. This is a game of who has the loudest voice
00:18:22.760 right now. The media has the loudest voice. It is why they are trying to shut people up, shadow ban.
00:18:31.700 It's why they are trying to silence the right online, because our voice is becoming effective
00:18:39.960 and they can't have that. This is why they're playing whataboutism, but I don't think it's going
00:18:46.400 to work. They are not about fairness. They're not about diversity. They are about total control.
00:18:53.600 More on the impeachment coming up.
00:18:57.000 Hey, it's Glenn. And if you like what you hear on the program, you should check out Pat Gray
00:19:13.100 Unleashed. His podcast is available wherever you download your favorite podcast. Yes, the soothing
00:19:19.320 music is to let you know that one of the most politically incorrect human beings on the planet
00:19:25.560 is about to hit your ears. His name is Nick DiPaolo. He is the host of the Nick DiPaolo show.
00:19:32.940 You can find him and his comedy show for free. And I warn you, very politically incorrect.
00:19:39.940 And he uses potty language a lot. You can find him at NickDip.com. NickDip.com. Hello, Nick DiPaolo.
00:19:49.020 How dare you? How dare you, Glenn? How dare it? What did I say now, Nick? Party language. Come on.
00:19:56.900 I swear like a pirate. Yeah, you do. I think pirates would blush. Listen, Nick, did you see Nancy
00:20:04.200 Pelosi yesterday and her in her announcement of impeachment? Well, it wasn't an announcement of
00:20:12.180 impeachment. It was an inquiry into impeachment. Ooh, that's like Dean Warmer saying you're on double
00:20:20.420 secret probation. Ooh, it is. It could pull her skin back any tighter for belly buttons on her Adam's
00:20:29.520 apple. She's trying to keep her dentures in Biden's teeth fell out last week. Not, you know,
00:20:38.240 all they need is a tube of polydent to bring this party together. But the, how about, here's what I
00:20:46.900 love. First, she comes out and says, nobody's above the law. Hello, Hillary Clinton. Hello, thick
00:20:52.820 ankle dung face. And watching the Democrats trying to pull down Trump. It's like watching Antifa trying
00:21:02.460 to pull down the Statue of Liberty with silly string. It is. You know, what's really strange is
00:21:08.240 I think the American people are goldfish because it was last week that the New York Times was trying
00:21:16.020 to tell everybody that they had a source that would lead to the impeachment of, of Kavanaugh. And
00:21:22.300 everybody was talking about impeachment with Kavanaugh. Then we found out, oh, that's discredited.
00:21:27.440 And we moved on. The very next day, the New York Times had a whistleblower that said they have
00:21:33.700 something that could impeach Donald Trump. And we all went there. Yeah. And the guy heard it
00:21:40.400 secondhand. What did he get the guy drunk who does the carpets in the West Wing? We didn't, you
00:21:45.860 know, a bathroom attendant heard something. But Trump comes out and he's so funny. He goes,
00:21:53.020 it was the perfect phone call. Who qualifies phone calls like that? This is the, this is the perfect
00:22:01.060 phone call. Right. Honey, uh, I'm not going to be home tonight. I'm going to strip club with my
00:22:05.320 friends. I'll see you tomorrow morning. And your wife goes, okay, honey, just wear a rubber. That's
00:22:10.760 the perfect phone call. Or, or Megan Fox calls your apartment and says, I'm five minutes away.
00:22:17.000 A gallon. And I have a gallon of baby oil and 50 blue chews. That's a, that's the perfect phone
00:22:22.840 call. Or the IRS. Oh, you know what? We owe you money. I got it. I got it. So, uh, what do you
00:22:32.360 think is, what do you think is, who's this going to work out for? Because I can't find a good ending
00:22:38.660 for Congress. I can't find a good ending for Biden. I can't find a good ending really for Trump. I mean,
00:22:46.280 unless Trump comes out and does the Bill Clinton thing, and let me be specific about that with you,
00:22:51.480 uh, that is Bill Clinton thing. Yeah. Where he came out and he's where he came out and he said,
00:22:57.580 uh, I did not have sex with that woman, Monica Lewinsky. And I got to go back to work for the
00:23:03.060 American people. If he would come out and say, this is a clown show. I didn't do it. They know
00:23:09.600 better than this. And I'm going to work for the American people. I don't care about any of this.
00:23:14.200 I think he would be the adult in the room and it would make them look like the clown that they are.
00:23:20.000 That's what he's saying. And that's what he's going to say that he's going to benefit from this
00:23:24.540 unless our country is that stupid now. But I mean, they're saying this is an impeachable offense.
00:23:30.900 How about Obama saying to the president of Russia in 2012 on a live mic, uh, Medvedev,
00:23:38.360 uh, I'll be more flexible after the campaign. What were they talking about? A hot yoga class?
00:23:44.100 I mean, Biden, why do you have to dig, you don't have to dig dirt up on Biden. He'll give it up
00:23:52.060 himself. Eventually he's the opposite of a self-cleaning oven. You just got to get,
00:23:57.220 get a couple of PBRs in him and go, uncle Joe, tell us how you and Hunter scam the Chinese out of a
00:24:04.360 billion and a half dollars. Can you tell us that one again? You don't have to dig up dirt. He's a
00:24:09.060 gaffe machine. Yeah. It's, it's, um, what's, what's remarkable here. Um, I'm just looking over the,
00:24:15.360 the transcript. We have the transcript. Should we go over it? Let's go over, uh, some of it, um,
00:24:22.780 and see what, uh, see what it said. It's the transcript. I have the transcript. I didn't
00:24:27.940 even get my morning paper today. I just, I just, I just got it. Uh, congratulations on a great
00:24:34.960 victory. We all watched from the United States. You did a terrific job. You can tell who's speaking
00:24:39.260 right now, just by the use of the word terrific, the way you came from behind, uh, somebody who
00:24:44.420 wasn't given much of a chance and you ended up winning easily. It's fantastic. Congratulations.
00:24:49.260 The new president says, you're absolutely right. Mr. President, we did win big. We worked hard for
00:24:54.800 this. We worked a lot. And I would like to confess to you that I had opportunity to learn from you.
00:24:59.640 We use quite a few of your skills and knowledge and we're able to use example for our elections.
00:25:04.700 And yes, it is true. These were unique elections. We were in unique situation, able to achieve unique
00:25:10.260 success. He uses unique like Trump uses terrific. I'm able to tell you following for first time.
00:25:16.060 You called me to congratulate me when I won presidential election. Second time. You're
00:25:19.840 now calling me when my party won parliamentary election. I think I should run more often. You
00:25:24.200 can call me more often. We can talk on the phone more often. Laughter. Uh, Trump says that's a very
00:25:29.820 good idea. I think your country is very happy about that. Well, yes, to tell you truth, we are trying
00:25:34.900 to work hard because we wanted to drain swamp here in our own country. We brought in many new people,
00:25:40.020 not old politicians, not typical politicians, because we want to have great format and new type of
00:25:45.920 government. You're a great teacher for us in that the president. This is see, this is the part where
00:25:51.060 the president gets the idea. This is the perfect phone call. This guy is really, really sharp. Say
00:25:55.920 these things to the president. He's going to say it's a perfect phone call president. Well, it's very
00:26:00.140 nice of you to say that. I'll say we do a lot for Ukraine. We spent a lot of effort and a lot of time,
00:26:04.820 much more than the European countries are doing, and they should be helping you more than they are.
00:26:08.760 Germany almost does nothing for you. I love this. All they do is talk. And I think it's something that
00:26:14.520 you should really ask them about. When I was speaking to Angela Merkel, she talks about Ukraine
00:26:19.440 and she doesn't do anything. A lot of the European countries are the same way. So I think it's
00:26:25.260 something you want to look at, but the United States has been very good to Ukraine. I wouldn't
00:26:30.100 say it's reciprocal necessarily because things are happening and are not good for the United States,
00:26:34.980 but have been very good to the Ukraine. Okay. Any problems with any of this so far?
00:26:39.700 Yeah, nothing's happened. The president of Ukraine says, yes, you're absolutely right. Not only 100%,
00:26:49.220 but actually 1000%. This is the perfect phone call. I could tell you following. I did talk to Angela
00:26:58.520 Merkel. I did meet with her. I also met and talked with Macron and told them they are not doing quite
00:27:03.300 as much they need to be doing on the issues with the sanctions. They are not enforcing the sanctions.
00:27:07.400 They are not working as much as they should for Ukraine. Turns out that even logically,
00:27:11.720 the European Union should be our biggest partner. But technically, the United States is much bigger
00:27:15.740 partner than the European Union. And I'm grateful for you because the United States is doing quite a
00:27:20.640 lot for Ukraine, much more than European Union, especially when we're talking about sanctions
00:27:24.940 against Russian Federation. I'd also like to thank you for your great support in area of defense.
00:27:29.560 We are ready to continue to cooperate for the next step. Specifically, we're almost ready to buy some
00:27:34.100 more javelins from the United States for defense purposes. The president said, I'd like you to do
00:27:40.160 us. I'd like you to do us a favor, though, because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows
00:27:46.380 a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine.
00:27:52.000 They say crowd strike. I guess you have one of your wealthy people, the server. They say Ukraine has
00:27:58.700 it. There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation. I think you're surrounding yourself
00:28:03.680 with some of the same people. I'd like to have the attorney general call you or your people,
00:28:08.500 and I'd like you to get to the bottom of it. As you saw yesterday, the whole nonsense ended with
00:28:13.840 a very poor performance by a man named Robert Mueller, an incompetent performance. But they say a lot
00:28:20.940 of it started with Ukraine. Whatever you can do, it's important that you do it if possible.
00:28:25.420 President Zelensky says, yes, very important for me and everything you just mentioned earlier.
00:28:31.500 For me as president, it's important that we are open for any future cooperation. We are ready to
00:28:37.080 open a new page in cooperation relations between the United States and Ukraine. For that purpose,
00:28:41.540 I just recalled our ambassador from the United States, and he will be replaced by a very competent
00:28:45.880 and experienced ambassador who I work hard on making sure that our two nations are getting closer.
00:28:51.040 I'd also like to hope to see him having your trust and confidence and have personal
00:28:54.680 relations with you. That's, you want to go on that one, Nick? I want to have personal relations
00:29:01.720 with you so we can cooperate even more so. I will personally tell you that one of my assistants spoke
00:29:07.280 to Mr. Giuliani just recently, and we're hoping very much that Mr. Giuliani will be able to travel
00:29:12.460 to the Ukraine and we will meet once he comes to the Ukraine. I just want to assure you once again
00:29:16.980 that you have nobody but friends around us. I will make sure that I surround myself with the best
00:29:21.720 and most experienced people. I also want to tell you that we are friends. We're great friends. You
00:29:26.260 and Mr. President, we have friends in our country. We can continue our strategic partnership. I also
00:29:31.820 plan to surround myself with great people in addition to that investigation. I guarantee the
00:29:36.440 president of Ukraine that all the investigations will be done openly and candidly. That I can assure
00:29:42.600 you. Good, because I heard you had a prosecutor who was very good, but he was shut down and that's
00:29:48.440 really unfair. A lot of people are talking about that, the way you shut your own very good prosecutor
00:29:53.360 down and you had some very bad people involved. Mr. Giuliani is a highly respected man. He's the
00:29:58.920 mayor of New York City, a great mayor. I'd like him to call you. I will ask him to call you along
00:30:03.480 with the attorney general. Rudy very much knows what's happening and he's a very capable guy. If you
00:30:08.340 could speak to him, that would be great. The former ambassador from the United States, the woman,
00:30:12.080 she was bad news. The woman. I like that. The woman. She was bad news and the people she was
00:30:18.460 dealing with in the Ukraine were bad news. I just want to let you know that. The other thing,
00:30:22.660 there's a lot of talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want
00:30:27.340 to find out about whatever you can with the attorney general. That would be great. Biden went around
00:30:33.080 bragging that he stopped the prosecution. So if you can just look into it, it sounds horrible to me.
00:30:37.440 The president responds. I want to tell you something about the prosecutor. First of all,
00:30:42.500 I understand. I want you to understand. I am knowledgeable about the situation since we won
00:30:47.640 the absolute majority in our parliament. The next prosecutor general will be 100 percent. My person,
00:30:52.480 my candidate who will be approved by the parliament and will start a new prosecutor in September.
00:30:57.980 He or she will look into the situation specifically to the company that you mentioned. That would be
00:31:02.960 Burisma. The issue of the investigation of this case is actually the issue of making sure they
00:31:08.200 restore honesty so we can take care of that and we will work on the investigation of the case. On top
00:31:13.440 of that, I would kindly ask if you had any additional information that you could provide us, it would be
00:31:17.960 very helpful for the investigation to make sure we administer justice in our country with regard to the
00:31:23.700 ambassador to the United States from Ukraine. As far as I recall, her name was Ivanovich.
00:31:28.580 It was great that you were the first one who told me that she was a bad ambassador because I agree
00:31:34.640 with you 100 percent. Her attitude towards me was far from the best as she admired the previous
00:31:41.680 president and she was on his side. She would not accept me as a new president well enough.
00:31:47.800 Then the president says, OK, I'll have Mr. Giuliani call you and I'll have Attorney General Barr call
00:31:53.200 you and we'll get to the bottom of it. I'm sure you'll figure it out.
00:31:55.820 I hear from the prosecutor was treated very badly and he was a very fair prosecutor.
00:32:00.940 So good luck with everything. Your economy is going to get better and better, I predict.
00:32:04.840 And you have a lot of assets. It's a great country. I have many Ukrainian friends.
00:32:09.820 They're incredible people. And we're done. The rest is just. Yeah, they go back and forth about energy
00:32:15.380 and nonsense. But that's the main part. What's your thought on that?
00:32:19.600 Well, the creepiest thing about that whole reading was how good your Russian accent is.
00:32:27.820 I'm starting to think you had something to do with this.
00:32:30.200 You hanging out with Carter Page the last two years. That was humble.
00:32:36.100 That was the best example of quid pro quo I've ever heard. He's in such trouble.
00:32:41.540 Right. You know what? One thing did catch my ear. Javelins? What, we selling? We sending aid for the Olympics?
00:32:50.400 Is that code for missiles? What was the javelin?
00:32:55.480 I'm pretty sure that they're not javelins for the Olympics, but I don't know what they are.
00:33:01.400 We will be sending ice skates.
00:33:03.200 We're with Nick DiPaolo. He was on The Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O'Brien.
00:33:11.140 He's been nominated for Emmys. Did you ever win anything? Because you wrote the HBO Chris Rocks special.
00:33:18.420 Yeah, well, they had won two years in a row. Then when I came on the staff, we got nominated.
00:33:22.260 It's the first year they lost. So, I don't know.
00:33:24.620 Make of that one.
00:33:25.440 Connect the dots on that one.
00:33:27.220 Right.
00:33:27.800 I got nominated twice, though.
00:33:29.140 Right.
00:33:29.320 It was my favorite job in show business.
00:33:31.800 And he is a comedian that, to say he uses dicey language is a very big understatement.
00:33:44.520 You spent too much time in Salt Lake City.
00:33:46.700 I know. I have. We have a lot of listeners who are, you know, their face would peel off if they watched some of your stuff.
00:33:56.160 But it is very, very funny and very political.
00:33:59.600 Who did their face work? Pelosi?
00:34:01.240 Yeah. Or Joe Biden. He's just bleeding from the eyes, but no big deal.
00:34:06.460 All right. So, does anybody have a problem? I don't have a problem with anything that was in that.
00:34:10.760 I mean, other than the fact that the guy is really kissing his ass.
00:34:15.180 I mean, he is really.
00:34:16.780 Oh, yeah. But they sound the same.
00:34:17.700 They do. They sound exactly the same.
00:34:19.480 I mean, I bet now that the new media narrative is going to be, I can't believe Donald Trump is bashing Angela Merkel to another foreign leader.
00:34:26.840 This is irresponsible. He needs to be impeached.
00:34:29.640 There's going to be something new they take out of this because, I mean, this has got to be a letdown, right?
00:34:33.440 This is a nothing burger.
00:34:35.880 Nick?
00:34:36.740 Yeah. I heard no quid pro quo. I heard no mention of money.
00:34:42.020 I don't know what they're doing. The Dems are committing suicide here. It's fun to me.
00:34:47.820 And the media is doing it, too, don't you think?
00:34:51.080 Oh, of course.
00:34:52.380 Well, when Trump goes away, whether it's, you know, at the end of this term or, you know, another four years, there's going to be no news channels.
00:34:59.940 If you're going to put on cable, it's going to just be CNN, MSNBC, they're going to fold up like a cheap camera.
00:35:07.020 There's nothing. I mean, he's keeping their ratings alive.
00:35:09.840 Well, unless they have video of some 16-year-olds that want to tell us all the things that we're doing wrong.
00:35:17.120 Oh, God.
00:35:18.400 Did you see the 16-year-old girl? Can we play this audio, please?
00:35:21.820 This is a 16-year-old girl telling the adults of the world, shame on us.
00:35:30.200 This is all wrong.
00:35:32.840 I shouldn't be up here.
00:35:35.500 I should be back in school on the other side of the ocean.
00:35:38.580 Yet, you all come to us, young people, for hope.
00:35:44.600 How dare you?
00:35:46.900 You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words.
00:35:52.660 And yet, I'm one of the lucky ones.
00:35:56.440 People are suffering.
00:35:58.680 People are dying.
00:36:00.880 Entire ecosystems are collapsing.
00:36:03.460 We are in the beginning of a mass extinction.
00:36:07.820 And all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of eternal economic growth.
00:36:14.200 How dare you?
00:36:16.340 Comment, Nick?
00:36:17.740 Yeah, a lot of people don't know.
00:36:19.380 Her parents took her to Chuck E. Cheese for her eighth birthday.
00:36:22.260 And five minutes after they left, the clown committed suicide.
00:36:27.000 She makes Hillary look likable, this thing.
00:36:29.780 You've got to be kidding me.
00:36:31.100 You know, most 16-year-old girls lose their innocence to looking at porn or something.
00:36:36.440 She lost it to watching satellite maps on the Weather Channel.
00:36:40.000 She is.
00:36:41.220 I blame her parents.
00:36:43.040 I think her parents are.
00:36:44.440 Of course.
00:36:44.980 You want to talk about somebody who stole your childhood.
00:36:46.860 It's your parents that are telling you only have 10 years to live.
00:36:51.980 This is the best of the Glenn Beck Program.
00:37:01.100 Hey, it's Glenn, and you're listening to the Glenn Beck Program.
00:37:07.740 If you like what you're hearing on this show, make sure you check out Pat Gray Unleashed.
00:37:12.320 It's available wherever you download your favorite podcasts.
00:37:15.480 I'd like to know, what do you think about the insanity going on?
00:37:22.080 I watched CNN for the first time in a year last night, and I'm telling you, I had to walk into the kitchen and just hug my wife, and she just went, it was that bad.
00:37:31.400 And I said, it was Vietnam, honey.
00:37:33.320 It was Vietnam.
00:37:34.000 Having to watch those buffoons for an hour, it was Vietnam.
00:37:39.380 Ridiculous.
00:37:39.820 Nothing in the world makes sense to me anymore.
00:37:43.400 So what should the president do?
00:37:45.420 What is the exit strategy for the Democrats?
00:37:48.320 What do you think is going to happen with this?
00:37:50.560 Mark in Georgia.
00:37:51.560 Hello, Mark.
00:37:52.100 You're on the Glenn Beck Program.
00:37:53.960 Thank you so much.
00:37:55.320 You bet.
00:37:55.860 I'm calling from Savannah and WTKS and the amazing Bill Edwards to warm up for you.
00:38:02.140 I saw the headlines in our paper, and it said, no one is above the law.
00:38:06.960 And I went immediately over to Home Depot and got enough shiny duct tape to make me look like a sultan because my head was going to explode.
00:38:16.480 These people are so out of it.
00:38:21.000 They have laws that they pass that they exempt themselves from.
00:38:27.580 They are above the law.
00:38:29.000 And when they commit crimes like sexual harassment, probably sexual attacks of some sort, like slapping somebody in the butt or whatever, they use our money to pay off the victims.
00:38:43.820 And we aren't allowed to know who was paying off, you know, some poor victim.
00:38:50.340 We don't need to know the victim.
00:38:52.040 But we have a right to know who these people are that are not exonerated.
00:38:59.120 So, Mark, I have to tell you, I agree.
00:39:02.300 I think that we are living in the times right now where you obviously are a longtime listener.
00:39:08.940 Thank you for the duct tape reference.
00:39:11.340 You've heard me talk about the Bubba effect.
00:39:14.580 That's what's happening right now.
00:39:16.440 The Bubba effect is going into hyperdrive.
00:39:19.120 Hyperdrive, another year of this, and no one's going to listen or believe.
00:39:24.720 They started mocking people in Congress last week during these hearings.
00:39:30.080 They were openly mocking them.
00:39:32.900 Those people should have respect, you know.
00:39:36.060 Nobody has respect for these people.
00:39:38.180 None of them.
00:39:39.200 No one has respect for them.
00:39:41.460 These guys should be very concerned.
00:39:44.260 And that's why I think they are working with Google and everyone else.
00:39:47.460 They've got to get their power base somehow.
00:39:51.120 They should be very concerned that they are becoming a national joke.
00:39:57.700 Now, it's always been a joke.
00:40:00.360 Always been a joke.
00:40:01.940 But a good, kind-hearted joke.
00:40:05.300 Not anymore.
00:40:06.900 We're to the point where we're like, I'm not going to listen to you.
00:40:10.080 Really?
00:40:10.860 Oh, really?
00:40:11.640 Oh, you're going to protect the Constitution now.
00:40:14.660 Yeah.
00:40:14.800 Where were you on the IRS targeting conservatives under Obama?
00:40:19.040 Oh, that's right.
00:40:19.540 That's right.
00:40:19.920 That was nothing.
00:40:21.400 Oh, you're going to go after Donald Trump now on this phone call where here's the document.
00:40:27.640 There's absolutely nothing in it that is of concern or at least impeachable for sure.
00:40:34.400 But you don't want to hear about the Joe Biden thing with his son.
00:40:38.680 That's a conspiracy theory.
00:40:40.660 No, that happened.
00:40:41.480 We have all the facts.
00:40:42.940 We have all the facts.
00:40:43.700 You know where we get some of the facts?
00:40:45.300 The New York Times.
00:40:46.660 How is it possibly a conspiracy when the New York Times itself reported it?
00:40:54.620 Can I ask another question on this?
00:40:56.260 Because you're helping me clarify this a little bit today.
00:41:00.680 Let's just say the worst is true.
00:41:02.980 The accusations against the president with this Ukraine thing are fully true and they will play out with evidence.
00:41:09.640 Let's say a recording of Donald Trump.
00:41:11.580 Okay.
00:41:13.260 Holding the cat in his big oversized chair, petting the kitty.
00:41:17.340 Yes, yes.
00:41:18.260 Now my plans.
00:41:19.220 Right.
00:41:20.080 So the accusation is Donald Trump uses the power of his office to influence Ukraine and an investigation in Ukraine to get the result he wants.
00:41:28.220 And if he doesn't get that result, he's going to withhold money that Ukraine is expecting.
00:41:34.700 That's the accusation against Donald Trump.
00:41:38.600 And we don't have all the evidence that that's true.
00:41:41.200 They deny that it's true.
00:41:42.380 But let's just say he came out and there was a statement of him admitting this in public.
00:41:47.440 How is that different than the actual initial conversation about Joe Biden?
00:41:56.080 This is the initial clip that started this whole Joe Biden thing.
00:42:00.540 Him talking in front of an audience.
00:42:03.620 Talking about how he went to Ukraine and threatened them if they did not use this or pursue this investigation in the way that he wanted.
00:42:12.700 No, no.
00:42:13.260 And fired the prosecutor.
00:42:15.560 He would withhold money.
00:42:17.500 He's admitted this on camera.
00:42:20.620 Listen to the clip.
00:42:21.260 I'm desperately concerned about the backsliding on the part of Kiev in terms of corruption.
00:42:30.240 They made, I mean, I'll give you one concrete example.
00:42:33.660 I was, not I, I, but it just happened to be that was the assignment I got.
00:42:38.200 I got all the good ones.
00:42:40.800 And so I got Ukraine.
00:42:42.500 And I remember going over convincing our team or others to convincing us that we should be providing for loan guarantees.
00:42:52.220 And I went over, I guess, the 12th, 13th time to Kiev.
00:42:56.720 And I was supposed to announce that there was another billion dollar loan guarantee.
00:43:02.400 And I had gotten a commitment from Poroshenko and from Yatsenyuk that they would take action against a state prosecutor.
00:43:10.680 And they didn't.
00:43:11.840 So they said they had, they were walking out to the press conference and said, no, I said, I'm not going to, we're not going to give you the billion dollars.
00:43:18.660 They said, you have no authority.
00:43:20.140 You're not the president.
00:43:20.960 The president said, I said, call him.
00:43:23.880 I said, I'm telling you, you're not getting a billion dollars.
00:43:26.620 I said, you're not getting a billion.
00:43:28.000 I'm going to be leaving here.
00:43:29.000 And I think it was, what, six hours.
00:43:30.360 I looked, I said, I'm leaving in six hours.
00:43:32.320 If the prosecutor's not fired, you're not getting the money.
00:43:35.360 Well, son of a, got fired.
00:43:38.440 And they put in place someone who was solid at the time.
00:43:43.620 So again, like forget the, forget the Hunter Biden part of this at all.
00:43:47.240 Forget if he was motivated by Hunter Biden.
00:43:50.440 Forget that for a second.
00:43:51.640 This is the exact thing they are accusing Donald Trump of doing.
00:43:55.900 Of withholding money to get a particular result in an investigation.
00:44:00.680 With this particular case, firing of the prosecutor from all investigations.
00:44:05.640 And he's withholding money and he's using the power of his office to accomplish that goal.
00:44:10.520 It is precisely the thing they're accusing Donald Trump of.
00:44:15.200 And it's the thing that started conservatives on this whole, on this whole chase in the first place.
00:44:20.960 And so that made me think of this as you're, we were talking about what is the motivation here?
00:44:25.340 Is the motivation essentially to get out in front of how bad this is for Biden?
00:44:29.720 Because now you can say.
00:44:31.580 Look what you're doing.
00:44:32.500 They've both done the same thing.
00:44:33.880 Yeah, exactly.
00:44:34.920 Right.
00:44:35.140 And you are missing the Hunter Biden story.
00:44:37.660 Right.
00:44:38.020 What he did with the prosecutor.
00:44:40.920 That may be that they fired the right prosecutor or fired the wrong prosecutor.
00:44:45.840 Listen to the president.
00:44:47.000 This is from the transcript.
00:44:48.380 I heard that you had a prosecutor who was very good and he was shut down.
00:44:52.280 And that's really unfair.
00:44:53.520 A lot of good people are talking about that.
00:44:55.420 The way they shut your very good prosecutor down.
00:44:58.580 And you had some very bad people in involved.
00:45:01.980 So now he's coming to the president of Ukraine saying the exact opposite.
00:45:10.100 The exact opposite.
00:45:11.740 Barack Obama and Joe Biden said that's a bad prosecutor.
00:45:15.660 Some people think he was a bad prosecutor.
00:45:17.860 Some people, like the current president of Ukraine, don't think he was a bad prosecutor.
00:45:24.140 Thought he was a good prosecutor.
00:45:26.120 That was going to be that was wronged.
00:45:28.200 OK, I don't know.
00:45:29.740 But you have them saying exactly the same thing just on opposite sides on who the bad guy and the good guy was.
00:45:36.820 It's the same story.
00:45:37.500 It's the same story.
00:45:38.660 Now that there's additional layers.
00:45:40.560 And also we should point out again that Trump has not admitted to doing the thing that Biden did admit doing.
00:45:45.980 Yeah, he didn't.
00:45:46.740 It was said by this inside source that that's what he did, that there is no talk of that whatsoever.
00:45:54.540 Right.
00:45:55.000 None in the transcripts.
00:45:56.840 None.
00:45:57.520 It was a friendly phone call.
00:45:59.360 The president of Ukraine was like, I know we got to get all over that.
00:46:04.280 We are working on it now.
00:46:05.900 We'd love your help on that.
00:46:07.860 They were in complete agreement.
00:46:10.200 So is that is the effort here by Pelosi to launch this investigation and the inquiry into impeachment to essentially give the impression that both of these guys are guilty of the same thing.
00:46:21.720 So you can't really count it against Biden.
00:46:23.880 And that means that you have to go through a million and you have to forget about the Hunter Biden part of the story.
00:46:29.420 Let me give you something that really didn't get much attention.
00:46:31.460 It was reported that Robert Menendez, Dick Durbin, Patrick Leahy wrote a letter to Ukraine's prosecutor general, Yuri Lusenko, expressing concern at the closing of four investigations they said were critical to the Mueller probe.
00:46:47.520 In the letter, they implied that the support for the U.S. assistance to Ukraine was at stake, describing themselves as strong advocates for robust and close relationships with Ukraine.
00:46:58.820 The Democratic senators declared, we have supported the capacity building process and are disappointed that some in Kiev appear to have cast aside those Democratic principles to avoid the ire of President Trump before demanding Lusenko reverse, I'm quoting, reverse course and halt any efforts to impede cooperation in this important investigation.
00:47:22.060 So, wait a minute, so you now have, you now have the senators, three Democratic senators going to Ukraine saying exactly the same thing that they just accused President Trump of doing.
00:47:39.460 This doesn't go anywhere.
00:47:42.080 They all did it.
00:47:44.240 And everything in today's world is political.
00:47:47.340 Everything, when bathrooms are political, of course, political people talking to other political people is going to be political because there is no integrity anymore on any front.
00:48:00.940 It's all about politics now.
00:48:03.400 So this is, this is misdirection.
00:48:08.560 This is saying, see what Joe Biden did in Ukraine wasn't bad.
00:48:12.020 I don't have a problem with what Joe Biden did in the Ukraine unless it is connected to that prosecutor going in and starting and opening an investigation on Burisma.
00:48:27.460 And that includes the board of directors, which Joe Biden's son was on.
00:48:33.200 We lost that.
00:48:34.800 Remember, he said, we're not going to give another billion.
00:48:36.760 We're not going to give another billion dollars.
00:48:38.560 Well, we did give another billion dollars.
00:48:40.380 But what that prosecutor was looking for was where did the 1.8 billion that was supposed to be in this bank and then go through Burisma, where did that money go?
00:48:52.980 Because it was just gone.
00:48:54.960 It went to offshore entities.
00:48:57.060 And the guy who owned the bank owned Burisma.
00:49:00.400 And the guy who's on the board of directors was Joe Biden's son.
00:49:04.980 Why was he on the board of directors?
00:49:06.440 Does he speak Russian?
00:49:07.660 Does he does he know about the oil and gas industry?
00:49:11.020 The answer is no.
00:49:12.940 This is misdirection to make it seem like what Joe Biden did was just say, fire that prosecutor.
00:49:20.320 That's not where the problem is.
00:49:24.040 And the bad news for Joe Biden is it's even worse.
