The Glenn Beck Program - Best of The Program ｜ Guest： Peter Schweizer ｜ 8⧸31⧸20

00:00:00.000 Hello, podcasters. What an exciting Monday. I mean, the show started off, you know, that sure did in a happy way that I don't think any broadcaster has ever really done before.

00:00:14.180 Well, I did hear almost the exact same break on Rush just the other day.

00:00:18.820 Did you? Other than that.

00:00:20.840 You do a different show. Yeah.

00:00:22.660 And this is an uplifting way to come out of the weekend.

00:00:24.080 This is this is something that you've probably never heard anybody do and mean it.

00:00:31.600 You know, I'm sure people have done it in a parody sort of way, but we meant it.

00:00:35.900 You don't want to miss that. Also, we have Swicer in today.

00:00:41.840 He's fantastic. He wrote the Clinton cash and and all of these deep state books.

00:00:47.760 He's a guy who consulted NBC for a while. He was a respected journalist.

00:00:51.900 And then he started writing about Democrats. And now, of course, he's an idiot. 1.00

00:00:58.160 But he has a brand new documentary out. 1.00

00:01:01.380 Where can I get it? Called called Riding the Dragon.

00:01:05.040 You can get it right now if you're a Blaze TV supporter.

00:01:07.480 Oh, I am. Yeah. Yeah. So you watch it right now.

00:01:09.720 I subscribe. Yeah. Or if you haven't made that decision yet, just go to the Blaze TV's YouTube page and you'll be able to see it.

00:01:18.000 Episode one or chapter one is today.

00:01:20.200 I personally rather get it all together right now. How would I do something like that?

00:01:23.460 Well, you do that by going to Blaze TV. You want to learn more about how Joe Biden is the worst when it comes to China and what his family is really all about?

00:01:33.180 Blaze TV dot com slash big tech. Use the promo code big tech and you will save 20 percent.

00:01:41.440 So go to Blaze TV dot com slash Glenn. Use the promo code back.

00:01:45.620 No. Big tech is the promo code. You do it.

00:01:49.000 So how do we get it? I don't know, Stu. How do you get it?

00:01:51.920 You get it if you go to Blaze TV dot com slash Glenn and use the promo code big tech.

00:01:57.320 20 bucks off your Blaze subscription to get the whole documentary before anybody else right now.

00:02:02.200 Or if you want to go to YouTube, you can get it over the next week.

00:02:04.380 I think the whole thing is going to be out Friday, but you can get it early now.

00:02:07.280 Plus, lots of other stuff, including Glenn's big show on technology that happens Wednesday.

00:02:10.620 Wednesday, Blaze TV dot com slash Glenn. Promo code is big tech.

00:02:15.900 I got it.

00:02:22.980 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:02:30.500 I want to play some audio before we start with Pat.

00:02:34.480 I'd just like to get your opinion on this.

00:02:36.020 This came to me from a listener in New York that said they were just they were just, you know, going to church and everything.

00:02:45.220 They thought everything was fine until the priest did this.

00:02:50.480 Listen, I now invite you to stand and join us in the prayer for racial justice by responding.

00:02:57.560 Yes, to each of the following statements.

00:02:59.460 Do you affirm that white privilege is unfair and harmful to those who have it and to those who do not?

00:03:14.260 Yes.

00:03:15.180 Do you affirm that white privilege and the culture of white supremacy must be dismantled wherever it is present?

00:03:20.340 I don't agree that there is that culture.

00:03:22.260 Do you support racial equity, justice and liberation for every person?

00:03:26.040 Can I change your question?

00:03:26.920 Yeah, no, it's not.

00:03:28.020 Do you affirm the inherent worth and dignity of every person?

00:03:31.280 Of course.

00:03:32.040 Yes.

00:03:33.440 Therefore, from this day forward, will you strive to understand more deeply the injustice and suffering white privilege and white supremacy cause?

00:03:41.580 Oh, good gosh.

00:03:42.420 Yes.

00:03:42.960 I mean.

00:03:43.240 Oh, I mean.

00:03:43.760 Will you come out to help transform our church culture to one that is actively engaged in seeking racial justice and equity for all for everyone?

00:03:52.400 Change our church culture.

00:03:53.200 Yes.

00:03:53.520 Am I going to am I going to find another church next week?

00:03:56.480 Yes.

00:03:56.760 People with the same respect you expect to receive.

00:03:59.540 This is this America.

00:04:02.080 Wake up Catholics. 1.00

00:04:03.880 Wow.

00:04:04.060 That's wake up.

00:04:05.380 That is a Catholic church in New York and not New York City.

00:04:10.780 Catholic church in New York.

00:04:12.320 And this goes to remember, remember the hell that was unleashed on me when I said, if you have a church that talks about social justice, run for your lives.

00:04:23.580 Oh, yeah.

00:04:23.940 And I corrected it by saying, I understand that Catholics have social justice from the 1800s.

00:04:33.000 That doesn't mean the same thing.

00:04:34.900 However, many interpret it as the same today.

00:04:41.180 And so you better know which know which social justice you're on, because one is collective.

00:04:47.820 That's the collective right there.

00:04:50.060 And if you're in a church like that, you have got to stand up and clean out your own church or find a new one.

00:05:00.720 But you are in danger.

00:05:03.160 You are in danger.

00:05:04.460 When our churches start to preach this from the pulpit, when they won't speak out about the loss of freedom, they are on the wrong side. 0.89

00:05:15.440 And just talking about this from the perspective of extreme leftism, where I have to accept all the white privilege nonsense.

00:05:23.220 I'm not going to.

00:05:23.820 I'm sorry.

00:05:24.280 I don't.

00:05:24.820 I don't either.

00:05:25.360 I don't.

00:05:25.860 I don't.

00:05:26.760 I'm not going to accept your premise.

00:05:29.100 So you need to change the question a little bit.

00:05:31.040 Do I want anybody to suffer prejudice?

00:05:34.100 No.

00:05:34.460 Discrimination?

00:05:34.920 Absolutely not.

00:05:35.700 No, I don't.

00:05:35.920 Will I work for the rest of my life to make sure that we are fair?

00:05:40.000 Yes.

00:05:40.280 And we are equal?

00:05:42.700 Yes.

00:05:43.520 Not equal in ending.

00:05:45.300 Not equal as my sin is my father's sin and is your sin. 0.87

00:05:50.820 No.

00:05:51.680 No.

00:05:52.340 I'm not equal in that.

00:05:54.540 I didn't have slaves.

00:05:57.160 I would hope.

00:05:58.040 And neither for that matter did any of my ancestors.

00:06:00.680 Neither did any of my ancestors either.

00:06:02.280 My ancestors fought for the North to end slavery.

00:06:06.860 One died and one never recovered from it.

00:06:10.460 I mean, hello?

00:06:12.420 Yeah.

00:06:13.340 But you're white. 0.97

00:06:14.840 So you're responsible for it. 0.88

00:06:16.240 That is legitimately.

00:06:17.320 That's what they're saying.

00:06:18.360 That's the kind of racism that's being jammed down our throats right now.

00:06:21.880 Oh, but there's more.

00:06:26.140 Here's a D.C.

00:06:27.580 rioter talking about what he's ready to do for the police and to the White House and to Congress.

00:06:34.460 Listen to this. 0.99

00:06:35.000 I'm at the point where I'm ready to put these police in the f***ing grave. 1.00

00:06:40.560 I'm at the point where I want to burn the f***ing White House down. 1.00

00:06:45.760 Burn the White House down. 0.99

00:06:47.800 British did that in 1812.

00:06:50.260 I want to take it to the senators.

00:06:51.260 I want to take it to the Congress.

00:06:52.160 I want to take it to the Congress.

00:06:53.400 Okay.

00:06:53.780 I want to take the fight to them.

00:06:55.520 Ah, fight. 0.82

00:06:56.380 And at the end of the day.

00:06:57.840 Yeah. 0.99

00:06:59.080 If they ain't going to hear us, we burn them the f***ing down. 0.99

00:07:03.240 Okay. 0.99

00:07:03.880 All right.

00:07:04.320 Is that the same guy that said he was going to drag Trump out of the White House and not wait for the election?

00:07:08.180 Is that the same?

00:07:08.880 I don't.

00:07:09.540 Because there was another guy that was saying he's going to drag Trump out.

00:07:11.980 Well, maybe you're thinking about Beto.

00:07:14.020 Beto O'Rourke.

00:07:14.960 Did you hear what he said this weekend?

00:07:16.700 I didn't.

00:07:17.200 Listen to this.

00:07:18.540 All of us understand it's not up to Donald Trump or any person, any one person in this country,

00:07:23.380 as to whether or not the results are accepted in the election.

00:07:26.560 But let's go into this eyes wide open.

00:07:29.080 If this election is close, and even if Joe Biden has lawfully won both the popular vote

00:07:34.480 and the electoral college vote, make no mistake, Donald Trump will do everything he can to try

00:07:39.780 to create chaos and confusion about the results and then probably seek to invalidate them with

00:07:45.260 his attorney general, both of whom, Donald Trump and William Barr, have talked about mail-in ballots

00:07:50.340 being fraudulent, though we know that the truth is they are not.

00:07:53.520 20% are.

00:07:53.900 It is one of the safest, most secure ways of voting.

00:07:56.320 20, it's not true.

00:07:57.520 20% are rejected. 0.71

00:07:59.080 Donald Trump may not accept the results, but who gives a s***?

00:08:00.700 Because the rest of the country will be forced to. 0.58

00:08:05.220 The rest of the country will be forced to live with the results?

00:08:08.820 What does that mean?

00:08:10.620 I don't even know what that means.

00:08:12.080 I don't know.

00:08:12.920 It's Beto.

00:08:13.680 He probably doesn't even know what that means.

00:08:16.620 But that was an interesting.

00:08:17.820 I thought maybe that's what you were talking about.

00:08:19.680 And, of course, the rioter that was killed in the riots in Portland this weekend, of course,

00:08:31.220 he wasn't a rioter.

00:08:33.560 There wasn't a riot.

00:08:34.960 There wasn't even a fight.

00:08:36.840 This was an execution of a Trump supporter.

00:08:40.600 And I think the audio proves it.

00:08:44.480 Listen to what's being said here.

00:08:46.140 And tonight, I just got word.

00:08:48.820 The person who died was a Patriot-paned person. 1.00

00:08:52.140 He was a f***ing Nazi. 1.00

00:08:54.100 Our community held its own and took out the trash. 1.00

00:08:58.180 I am not going to show any chance over a Nazi. 0.98

00:09:01.000 Everybody needs to realize what's going on in this s***. 0.88

00:09:04.320 Our community can hold its own without the police. 0.92

00:09:08.220 We can take out the trash on our own.

00:09:10.440 We can take out the trash on our own. 0.99

00:09:12.580 Not a f***ing fascist died tonight. 0.98

00:09:15.660 I'm not sad. 0.99

00:09:16.880 A fascist died tonight. 0.73

00:09:18.500 How vile is that? 0.99

00:09:19.460 We can take out the trash ourselves.

00:09:21.820 Now, the audio, I don't know.

00:09:23.160 Do we have the audio of the actual shooting where the rioters, the Black Lives Matter people,

00:09:32.040 are heard saying, we got one.

00:09:34.440 We got one right here.

00:09:36.060 Where?

00:09:36.580 Right here.

00:09:37.560 Boom.

00:09:39.560 What did they have?

00:09:40.860 They had two Trump supporters.

00:09:43.740 As if they were hunting for Trump supporters.

00:09:46.480 Found a couple right here.

00:09:47.460 Found a couple right here.

00:09:48.400 And then you hear the gunshots.

00:09:50.160 It's amazing.

00:09:51.380 It's unbelievable.

00:09:52.060 This is an execution.

00:09:53.600 Remember when he said this would be the summer?

00:09:55.680 I've said it for the last, well, he said it in 16, didn't I?

00:09:59.640 In 16 and then this year.

00:10:02.800 Just took a little while.

00:10:03.640 You've always said you're a little off on timing.

00:10:05.300 Yeah, I'm always off on timing.

00:10:06.520 But here it is.

00:10:07.520 Yeah, this is 68.

00:10:08.960 This is, if not worse than 68.

00:10:12.180 Well, you haven't gotten to the political assassinations yet, but I believe this is the threshold.

00:10:17.460 This is the beginning of that now.

00:10:19.400 We saw what happened.

00:10:20.640 That video of people going home from the White House.

00:10:23.920 Yeah.

00:10:24.700 On Thursday night.

00:10:26.200 With Rand Paul and his wife.

00:10:26.880 Unbelievable. 0.80

00:10:27.380 Terrifying.

00:10:27.980 Not just Rand Paul.

00:10:29.260 I know.

00:10:29.420 Did you watch video after video after video?

00:10:32.340 Yeah.

00:10:32.500 That one girl with the, you know, skull and crossbones on her hat that is just, did you 1.00

00:10:37.860 see that one where she's following several couples just screaming at them the whole time? 0.97

00:10:43.580 I hope this wakes everybody up because it's amazing to me that they thought they were going

00:10:48.320 to have a situation where they could let people walk out of that speech and walk to hotel rooms

00:10:53.020 afterward.

00:10:53.680 Yeah.

00:10:53.880 Not a good move.

00:10:55.100 People are waking up in these circles because something.

00:10:58.320 It's not safe.

00:10:59.100 Really bad is going to happen one of these days.

00:11:00.760 So people are dangerous.

00:11:02.200 My one of my relatives has a has very good friends in New York.

00:11:07.900 A lot of good friends in New York.

00:11:09.100 Young friends.

00:11:10.920 And this person is not a Trump supporter, not a Biden supporter either.

00:11:18.340 Just not a Trump supporter.

00:11:19.700 Doesn't like Donald Trump.

00:11:22.560 She told me that she was online with some friends and her friends are now starting to

00:11:29.800 share how to build guillotines.

00:11:32.920 And they thought it was funny what was being done in front of Jeff Bezos house. 0.92

00:11:40.280 And she said, man, this is you're not making a statement here other than behead this guy 0.88

00:11:49.380 because he's rich. 0.96

00:11:50.520 When did you guys when did you guys slip into the dark side without knowing it and the French 1.00

00:11:57.560 revolution?

00:11:58.340 Right.

00:11:59.320 And that is the choice, the American revolution or the French revolution.

00:12:02.620 And what did the French revolution lack?

00:12:05.080 What was it that Thomas Paine was trying to he was he was condemned here in America for

00:12:12.220 the rest of his life?

00:12:13.540 He was buried in a pauper's grave because he was misunderstood.

00:12:19.260 He was not an atheist.

00:12:23.220 He was against religion.

00:12:26.320 He had a problem with organized religion.

00:12:30.200 He was not an atheist.

00:12:31.580 And I have his own letter to prove it.

00:12:36.080 But he was not an atheist.

00:12:37.940 What he said was to Ben Franklin and and John Adams, he wrote a letter and he said, what

00:12:46.600 are you guys doing to me?

00:12:48.300 What are you doing to me?

00:12:49.980 I was there.

00:12:50.840 I saw the miracles.

00:12:52.000 I know that God exists.

00:12:53.540 I'm against religion. 0.96

00:12:55.700 These people are against God.

00:12:58.060 I'm trying to appeal to them and say, yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:13:01.620 You don't need the church.

00:13:02.880 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:13:03.760 Right.

00:13:04.160 We don't need the church.

00:13:05.540 But the church isn't God.

00:13:06.900 This is the argument we're having right now.

00:13:11.140 And people are saying you don't need God.

00:13:13.160 God is bad.

00:13:13.900 No, you know what?

00:13:14.580 The churches have gone bad from time to time.

00:13:17.860 Some of the churches are bad.

00:13:19.620 Some of the churches are great.

00:13:21.880 But God remains the same.

00:13:25.620 And if we don't have God, we go the I mean, I can't believe.

00:13:30.720 Well, look how that revolution went.

00:13:32.100 I know.

00:13:32.880 I mean, not only did they kill all of the all of the royalty, then they started to

00:13:36.880 kill in the leaders of their own movement.

00:13:38.680 Yes. 0.92

00:13:39.140 And they're already doing this same.

00:13:41.560 You don't think that they will come after after the left itself.

00:13:45.640 They're already doing it.

00:13:47.300 Yeah.

00:13:47.560 They're already doing it.

00:13:48.660 If you don't toe the line, you're a traitor.

00:13:51.280 I mean, it's it's exactly the same.

00:13:55.800 And and I can't believe how many people have been duped by the Trojan horse.

00:14:02.560 You know what the Trojan horse is in America? 0.74

00:14:07.240 The real and actual plight.

00:14:10.980 Of the black man in America, the actual plight, the actual things that are real problems. 0.95

00:14:18.680 The Trojan horse is the is the big bad policeman.

00:14:26.780 And they're wheeling the sacrifice up.

00:14:29.480 They're wheeling this thing up to us and saying, look at the poor men that have been abused by the big bad police.

00:14:35.680 Inside is nothing but a death cult.

00:14:40.600 You can't let that through your gates.

00:14:44.520 And it's being wheeled into our churches.

00:14:46.720 It's being wheeled into our communities.

00:14:48.980 It's being wheeled into our schools.

00:14:51.360 You cannot.

00:14:52.480 It's a Trojan horse.

00:14:55.820 Black lives matter.

00:14:56.840 I just going to put the square up.

00:14:58.260 Don't put that square up.

00:15:00.080 Don't do it.

00:15:03.520 Do do all black lives matter. 0.99

00:15:06.500 Yes, they do.

00:15:08.380 But when you say black lives matter, you are endorsing black lives matter incorporated.

00:15:17.100 And it is an incorporation.

00:15:20.320 Look it up.

00:15:22.360 It's an entity.

00:15:23.560 And the biggest Trojan horse that I've ever seen.

00:15:30.520 And just like everybody, if that actually happened, there had to be a bunch of people standing around going, have we checked what's inside that thing?

00:15:40.680 Yeah.

00:15:41.200 No, it's a gift.

00:15:46.540 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:15:53.560 Peter Swiser is with us right now.

00:16:00.420 How are you?

00:16:01.020 Great to be here, Glenn.

00:16:01.840 Thanks for having me.

00:16:02.720 Great to have you, Peter.

00:16:03.820 I tell you, I.

00:16:06.300 You must feel very, very alone.

00:16:10.100 Yeah.

00:16:10.560 Yeah.

00:16:11.060 It's, you know, it's interesting.

00:16:12.640 And I mean, we've talked about this before.

00:16:13.980 I mean, you sometimes in the past and in the present will talk about something and it's sort of ahead of its time.

00:16:20.680 Yeah.

00:16:20.800 So we first started talking about the Bidens and China back in 2018 when I wrote a book called Secret Empires.

00:16:27.680 Came here to Dallas and talked with you.

00:16:30.760 You know, it got a lot of attention.

00:16:32.260 We hit number one on the New York Times list, but it basically was ignored by the major media.

00:16:37.280 It was ignored in Washington, D.C.

00:16:39.400 And part of the problem is there are other people in Washington, D.C. that have deals with the Chinese as well.

00:16:44.680 But we're now at a point where Joe Biden is the Democratic nominee.

00:16:48.540 He wants to be president of the United States.

00:16:51.420 And the single biggest financial tie that his family enjoys is with the foreign government of China.

00:17:00.480 Not a foreign company, not an American company in China, the foreign government of China.

00:17:06.280 And it seems to me that in an America where if a congressman owns $10,000 of GE stock, they have to disclose it.

00:17:14.560 Yes.

00:17:14.960 We should be interested in that, especially when you're talking about the size and the scope of the deals that the Bidens enjoy.

00:17:20.060 So to me, it's a central part of the conversation we need to be having.

00:17:23.620 And it's amazing to me that Joe Biden could say, come on, man, they're not a they're not a competitor.

00:17:32.080 They're not a worry to us.

00:17:33.540 And what we're talking about here in America is.

00:17:38.480 It's a movement run by Marxists and it's in the street crying out for a new system and a Marxist system.

00:17:49.000 We know now that countries who have opposed us have infiltrated and have China in particular poured money into our universities.

00:18:00.620 Right.

00:18:01.300 Poured money into our universities and and and have have come out and now said, you know, we're we're not a threat.

00:18:13.520 They're pouring money into there.

00:18:14.980 They're pouring money into politics. 0.67

00:18:17.220 And that's a Marxist quasi, you know, capitalist state.

00:18:23.640 It's a hybrid of private and public corporations.

00:18:28.640 Right.

00:18:29.220 And nobody is tying this together.

00:18:31.540 Nobody is saying, wait a minute.

00:18:33.400 Is Joe Biden part of this Trojan horse?

00:18:37.380 You know, it's a great question.

00:18:38.900 Here's what we know, Glenn.

00:18:40.280 We know that Joe Biden is is essentially on an island by himself in most people in Washington, D.C.

00:18:48.680 that talk about China.

00:18:49.720 And I put Joe, I put Barack Obama in a different category.

00:18:53.720 Barack Obama has said China is a threat to the United States.

00:18:57.100 We need to see China as a rising power that's going to challenge our interests. 1.00

00:19:01.420 Those are not things that Joe Biden says.

00:19:03.880 That's what's so remarkable about this in the film.

00:19:06.660 When you see the beginning of the film, you have sort of a collage of people left, right and center.

00:19:11.460 I tell you, it is so powerful.

00:19:13.880 You're hearing four minutes of everybody, literally everybody on all sides of the political aisle saying China is a threat.

00:19:22.940 China is a real threat. 1.00

00:19:24.200 It's the threat to our economy.

00:19:26.100 It's a threat to our nation.

00:19:27.740 It's a real threat.

00:19:28.720 And then, come on, man.

00:19:31.080 Yeah.

00:19:31.400 And he said it repeatedly.

00:19:32.740 I mean, there's the famous come on, man.

00:19:34.460 But he has said for years, we welcome the rise of China.

00:19:38.920 Yeah.

00:19:39.240 You know, we think a rising China is good for America. 0.92

00:19:43.760 He is on an island by himself.

00:19:45.940 And so what we try to do with the film, Glenn, is answer the question, why?

00:19:49.660 Why is Joe Biden so far on an island when it comes to this issue compared to Barack Obama, compared we one of the people in the opening collage is Ben Rhodes, the former national security advisor, saying China is a much bigger problem than Russia is.

00:20:05.140 The question is why?

00:20:06.500 And you can look at Joe Biden's record.

00:20:09.300 And, you know, Joe Biden is a guy that tends to shift with the winds.

00:20:12.940 We all have seen that in his 40 year career.

00:20:15.560 But to me, there is that fundamental question of he became much more soft on Beijing when his son started getting very lucrative, exclusive deals courtesy of the Chinese government.

00:20:30.080 And you have to ask yourself, I mean, if we're worried about and talk about, as we should, you know, Wall Street fundraisers for politicians.

00:20:37.020 We talk about big tech fundraisers for politicians.

00:20:40.820 We better darn well be concerned about a foreign government making a presidential candidate's family wealthy through cut out deals that they have no no qualifications to get. 0.99

00:20:52.980 You know, people say that, you know, I think it's what is it?

00:20:55.660 Sixty percent of those of Democrats still believe that Donald Trump was colluding with the Russians.

00:21:03.040 Right. Sixty percent still believe that.

00:21:05.460 And it's proven to be false.

00:21:07.040 Right.

00:21:07.160 But this is true.

00:21:10.520 And no one in the Democratic Party and many in the Republican Party.

00:21:16.240 Right.

00:21:16.780 Don't seem to really care all that much that there are massive amounts of money being transferred into the Biden coffers.

00:21:28.200 Right.

00:21:28.740 By China. 0.70

00:21:29.640 Yeah.

00:21:29.980 Forget collusion.

00:21:31.100 This is this is, you know.

00:21:33.260 Right.

00:21:33.580 This is worse.

00:21:34.500 That was about collusion with Russia.

00:21:36.300 That's about winning the election so you can be president.

00:21:39.540 This is about just enriching yourself.

00:21:41.840 Right.

00:21:42.080 I mean, exactly.

00:21:42.960 It's even less honorable than the most dishonorable thing you could do.

00:21:46.940 Well, that's exactly right.

00:21:47.920 And but I think an important point to add to that, Glenn, and we talk about this in the film is this is not just the case of the Biden's getting wealthy and the Chinese, you know, kind of laughing and saying this is great.

00:21:59.340 When you look at the deals that Hunter Biden did, and we go through this in the film in detail, when you look at the deals that he was involved in with the Chinese, these were private equity deals where the Chinese government financed private equity deals.

00:22:12.600 Hunter Biden was on the board of the firm.

00:22:14.220 His business partner was the the vice chairman of the firm.

00:22:17.220 What did that firm do with all that Chinese government money?

00:22:21.220 They ended up buying companies and doing commercial deals that benefited the Chinese militarily.

00:22:28.640 And I don't say that loosely.

00:22:30.740 What did they do?

00:22:31.740 They bought a Michigan based company called Hennegas to produces precision machine tools, anti vibration technologies.

00:22:39.380 Everybody recognizes, including the federal government, it's dual use.

00:22:43.140 You can use it on civilian things like like cars.

00:22:46.020 You can only also use it on military capabilities like like, you know, stealth planes, things that we do not want people to have the ability to do.

00:22:56.600 Exactly. So here you have the sitting vice president's son involved with a Chinese funded firm and a Chinese firm that buys a machine to a company in the United States that ends up benefiting the Chinese militarily in the technology space.

00:23:13.180 But it's more than that.

00:23:14.400 It's it's not just that he happens to.

00:23:17.800 This is a company the Chinese military wanted to acquire.

00:23:22.140 Exactly.

00:23:22.680 Couldn't acquire.

00:23:23.820 Yes.

00:23:24.080 Because of the laws.

00:23:26.060 And then when Biden gets involved, all of a sudden there's no one standing in the way.

00:23:31.660 What happened to the the oversight from the United States government on that?

00:23:36.000 Right.

00:23:36.220 Exactly.

00:23:36.720 It goes through a process called CFIUS, the Committee on and for investment in the United States.

00:23:41.220 Well, who sits on the CFIUS board at the time?

00:23:44.280 That's Joe Biden's friends.

00:23:45.740 And and, you know, the Chinese are very shrewd about this. 0.87

00:23:48.700 I think they calculated pretty early on if we try to do these deals and we don't have the camouflage of a prominent family attached to these deals, we're going to have a very hard time getting these deals approved.

00:24:01.440 So you have the Hennigas deal. 0.87

00:24:03.280 You have this incredible situation.

00:24:05.820 We've talked about it before, but has not been picked up by the media that one one of the things that Hunter Biden's firm does is they invest invest in a company called CGN, China General Nuclear.

00:24:16.340 They invest in it.

00:24:18.080 They're an anchor investor in it.

00:24:19.520 And what happens about eight months after they invest in it, CGN, the same firm that now the vice president's son is part owner of.

00:24:28.420 Is charged by the FBI of stealing nuclear secrets in the United States, nuclear secrets tied to small reactors that are used in U.S. submarines.

00:24:39.100 The Chinese don't have a nuclear capability with submarines, but they're a step closer now, courtesy of CGN, a firm that the vice president's son was an anchor investor.

00:24:50.300 And it's it's it's astonishing.

00:24:51.900 It's not only that.

00:24:53.300 And there's not a surprise there for the Biden's.

00:24:56.820 There was no surprise there because they were charged months later.

00:25:00.780 Yeah. But the vice president and his son had to have known that that firm was being investigated by the FBI for divulging state secrets.

00:25:14.560 Yeah, that the that firm engineers connected to that firm had been spying on the United States for like 19 years.

00:25:21.460 So it's not a question of was CGN a sketchy company that the FBI was looking at?

00:25:27.980 They absolutely were. And as you point out, it's the charges that came eight months later.

00:25:32.600 And the point is, you know, do we really think that the Bidens are naive enough to to believe that if you're going to invest in a Chinese nuclear firm, that there's not going to be a military component to it?

00:25:47.000 I mean, the entire Chinese economy, especially under President Xi, is geared towards every technology being dual use, whether it's artificial intelligence, whether it's a new energy propulsion system.

00:25:59.480 Everything is deemed to be new dual use.

00:26:02.160 That is use it for civilian purposes and for military purposes.

00:26:05.960 So would you would you when we come back, I want to take a one minute break and I don't know if you're I don't know if you're prepared to do this, but I would love you to explain how the Chinese system works over there.

00:26:18.940 Because we just we've been people try to convince us that, oh, no, this is a good, you know, capitalist.

00:26:26.440 No, it's not right. It's nothing like a free market.

00:26:30.140 Exactly. And I'd like you to go into that when we come back.

00:26:32.960 There is a new video out. It came out today.

00:26:35.980 Riding the Dragon, the Biden's Chinese secrets.

00:26:38.380 It's it's playing now on Blaze TV dot com slash dragon.

00:27:20.300 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:27:22.960 And I was telling my daughter last night, who is much more of a New Yorker, I think, than the rest of the family.

00:27:46.100 And she was we were talking last night and I said, you really have to watch the convention.

00:27:52.180 I'm going to send you clips.

00:27:54.140 Watch the convention.

00:27:56.000 And she said, I don't think I need to see it.

00:27:58.560 And I said, you do.

00:27:59.860 I said, for the first time, I felt there was real honesty at a GOP convention and not from the politicians.

00:28:07.380 I don't trust the politicians when they get up and say things.

00:28:09.960 I mean, from the regular people, there were it reflected the American heart, not just the conservative heart, but the American heart that we're not into all of these riots.

00:28:24.440 We are into helping each other.

00:28:26.460 We are into real justice.

00:28:28.780 We are we are into cleaning up the cops, but but also holding people accountable, helping them when they're down, helping them up, but then also holding people accountable.

00:28:40.460 It was it was an amazingly diverse group of people, including a ton of Democrats and even some even some social Democrats were were speaking, speaking up for Donald Trump last week.

00:28:54.940 One of the guys who is a Democrat is one of the six mayors around the state of Minnesota that have seen their party.

00:29:04.940 And when I don't recognize this anymore and are still Democrats, but are are now supporting Donald Trump this fall.

00:29:14.780 One of them is Robert Veselovich.

00:29:18.120 I hope I have that right, Robert.

00:29:19.720 He is the mayor of Evaleth, Minnesota.

00:29:24.880 I hope I have that one right as well.

00:29:27.240 Robert, how are you, sir?

00:29:28.820 Very good this morning.

00:29:30.140 It sounds like you were born here the way you pronounce those names.

00:29:32.800 Well, there you go.

00:29:34.080 There you go.

00:29:34.580 My my my mother was from spent some time in Minneapolis when she was when she was little. 0.99

00:29:42.580 So maybe that's it.

00:29:43.860 Maybe that's it.

00:29:44.840 So tell me.

00:29:47.180 Tell me what happened to you, Robert.

00:29:49.200 I mean, you've you've always been a Democrat, still are, right?

00:29:53.660 Yes.

00:29:54.160 OK.

00:29:54.920 And yet you're voting for Donald Trump.

00:29:57.340 Why?

00:29:58.760 Well, we've been in a battle with constantly for a number of years with the radical environmental movement.

00:30:04.780 And they seem to take control of the Democratic Party.

00:30:09.360 And every policy and platform they had is against everything we have up here.

00:30:14.280 They want to take our wilderness away from us, our jobs.

00:30:17.680 And Donald Trump was the only one who stepped up and said, I support mining.

00:30:22.460 And he didn't stutter when he said that.

00:30:24.800 And I said, this is our guy.

00:30:26.900 So it's more about jobs than it is about what you're seeing in the streets of Minnesota.

00:30:33.360 Jobs, number one.

00:30:34.620 But the chaos here, you know, I haven't seen a real Democrat for 30 years like the people I grew up with.

00:30:39.800 A lot of friends of ours, you know, they supported the working man, middle class America.

00:30:44.440 And we seem to have taken a back seat to these predetermined agendas.

00:30:48.840 I really don't know what they're trying to do.

00:30:51.960 So are you staying a Democrat because you're hoping the party will swing back and be more like it was?

00:31:01.840 And you want to continue to change it?

00:31:05.640 Well, to me, the political party thing is, I think, might be fading out.

00:31:11.760 It's because right now you can call me a Republican or Democrat because we're all thinking alike.

00:31:15.960 Republican Party and the Democrats, I know.

00:31:18.480 We all have a vision for America like our parents had.

00:31:22.480 Wow.

00:31:23.700 That is not, Robert, that is not what we're seeing on television or on the news.

00:31:29.980 The Democrats that, I mean, my grandparents were Democrats.

00:31:33.880 You know, a lot of family members that I had growing up were Democrats.

00:31:38.400 And they loved the country.

00:31:40.400 They just saw the party as big business or the small guy.

00:31:45.340 And now it is.

00:31:47.120 But they both loved America and wanted it to succeed.

00:31:51.580 Now, I don't see that in Democrats.

00:31:54.260 And you're saying that you think that there's a lot of Democrats out there like that?

00:31:58.340 There's a lot of them that think like that now because the association with the party, you're seeing the split, the divide, not supporting the working man or the middle class.

00:32:09.060 And the middle class built this country and actually supports the whole world.

00:32:13.340 A great, strong America economically helps the whole world.

00:32:16.240 And now everybody's speaking up.

00:32:18.780 They kind of kept their comments to themselves.

00:32:20.860 But now a group of the other mayors, too, jumped on the bandwagon with me.

00:32:25.740 And I was really happy for that because that's the undercurrent.

00:32:30.160 The word on the street.

00:32:31.240 People are getting really upset.

00:32:32.520 I mean, we're getting beat up by these environmentalists and these radicals in the party.

00:32:38.900 So, Robert, what, I mean, five others joined you.

00:32:44.800 Do you think that maybe you kind of were the hole in the dike, if you will, that all of a sudden it just started to crack apart? 1.00

00:32:54.140 I mean, is it scary to do what you just did?

00:32:59.180 Well, you know, I just took a stand because I really feel for the young people making investment in our areas, the kids in the small towns who are struggling.

00:33:07.560 And I think the rest of these mayors had just had enough.

00:33:11.480 They gave them enough rope.

00:33:12.680 Hopefully things would come back to normal, how we perceive normal.

00:33:16.580 But it's just getting worse when you have the rioting, lawlessness, threatening people's public safety.

00:33:24.200 You know what I mean?

00:33:24.660 That just pushed it over the edge.

00:33:26.560 Everybody had enough.

00:33:28.440 Are you getting heat from your stands?

00:33:32.180 You know, I had such a small amount of negative comments.

00:33:38.100 We're just getting a deluge of calls from all over the country, different parts of Pennsylvania, even California.

00:33:44.180 And stuff, they're glad we took the stance.

00:33:47.340 I would say it's probably maybe like 90 to 1.

00:33:51.440 I had, when CNN came up here and did a story on us, they did a real good story up here.

00:33:57.080 And I got more complaints from some of the Democrats, liberals up here, that when I said Trump is our guy, I got more calls then than I did over this.

00:34:06.740 It just goes to the story.

00:34:09.740 Really?

00:34:10.140 Why do you think it's because maybe the liberals weren't watching last week and they were just like oblivious to you?

00:34:17.280 I mean, that was a pretty big deal.

00:34:19.440 People are speaking out.

00:34:21.620 And I mean, the ones who are calling me are old, long-time Democrats here.

00:34:26.680 And they're looking at the candidate because they know we have nothing to support our thoughts.

00:34:32.120 Our thoughts have always been the area, the natural resource-based economy, and our wilderness.

00:34:36.600 You know, we've kept both in check for years, and now we have people trying to take that away from us because anybody can use our wilderness.

00:34:44.860 If they get their way, it'll be just a thing of privilege to be able to go up there.

00:34:50.120 And you don't think Biden, I mean, Biden's always been for the working man.

00:34:54.660 He's the, you know, the working class Joe is what they call him.

00:34:59.660 Are you making a funny here?

00:35:03.760 No, I was just quoting him.

00:35:05.260 You know, that's what they call me, working class Joe.

00:35:07.980 And it's like, no, you call yourself that.

00:35:10.300 Nobody else does.

00:35:11.340 But I like Donald Trump.

00:35:12.880 He's not a politician.

00:35:13.760 So his word means something because he's used to doing business deals.

00:35:17.540 And I'm tired of these elected officials who've got a for sale sign on their back. 0.71

00:35:21.620 And you see what happened.

00:35:22.780 All the jobs left, give away everything or any advantage we had.

00:35:28.500 Because I've seen the economic roller coaster we've been on up here in the mining business for years.

00:35:35.680 Well, it is almost shocking to talk to a politician and not have them tow the party line.

00:35:46.140 And I have tremendous respect for you.

00:35:48.620 And I would say the same thing if somebody was going the other way.

00:35:51.460 I would question their common sense.

00:35:52.940 But I would, I would respect, I really respect people who don't tow the line because it's not encouraged in any way in today's society.

00:36:05.600 So thank you for that, sir.

00:36:08.760 No, it's, you have to take a stand sooner or later.

00:36:11.540 It's our survival.

00:36:13.680 Thank you.

00:36:15.300 You're exactly right.

00:36:16.200 That is the, that is one of the six mayors.

00:36:21.160 Now the first one that spoke out and he was at the RNC, Robert Veselovich, mayor in Minnesota, a Democrat, remaining a Democrat.

00:36:31.680 Na, na, na, na.

00:36:33.240 Thank you.

00:36:34.660 Thank you.

00:36:38.200 Meow.

00:36:39.200 Here we go.

00:36:43.120 Today we are.

00:36:44.720 Here we go.
