The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ Guest： Rep. Chris Stewart ｜ 9⧸30⧸22

00:00:00.000 hey welcome to the uh welcome to the uh program let me turn this i know i turned this off i don't

00:00:11.620 know i don't know why is this this little experiment not working what is your problem

00:00:15.580 i i play music and every day stu comes in he's like what stop what are you playing and i'm sorry

00:00:24.300 i'm not playing britney spears or whatever it is you're listening to uh oops yeah i did it again

00:00:29.520 you ever hear of it yeah you know so i i found this group called poor man's poison yeah and you

00:00:35.120 like yeah they're great right yeah so uh i've kind of becoming friends with some of them and

00:00:41.420 they're fantastic if you haven't listened to poor man's poison just look up uh uh hell's coming with

00:00:48.080 me that's a good place to start what's the machine one uh feed the machine feed the machine that's

00:00:52.940 yeah it's a really good one really good one um but uh my son just sent me benjamin dakota rogers

00:00:58.920 he's into weird i mean for a kid he's a weirdo he's he's just like me growing up just a quick

00:01:05.920 reminder uh he's an adult yeah thank you um oh that's weird to say how soon anyway so he just

00:01:14.720 sent me this guy named uh benjamin dakota rogers yeah and i love this guy but it's really i mean it's

00:01:22.020 it's marked as country music but does that sound like country music to me you could see why it might

00:01:27.520 be marked that but it's not like a pure no it's like uh i don't know there's this new category

00:01:33.460 called i think americana i don't know if that's okay new or not but americana and uh poor man's

00:01:39.780 poison is in country and sometimes americana this guy is it's good except this guy is from

00:01:45.940 you know poor man's poison they're from california you know and they're rebels in california uh this guy

00:01:53.080 is from ontario again what is it with country music in ontario canada i don't know it's a good

00:01:59.540 question yeah um now i prefer to get my music from established artists like nuke bizzel he is good and

00:02:06.960 nuke bizzel also there's a part of the podcast today where we talk about nuke bizzel because uh of course

00:02:13.360 he's a great rap artist um but uh he did a song about how to rip everybody off um to the tune of

00:02:22.120 i mean he mentions 300 g's in it uh we don't know how much he actually stole from covid programs but he

00:02:28.620 rapped about it so we knew he did it yeah so it's great so he's that as we go through this uh i i thought

00:02:35.840 it was kind of a fun little segment uh but stew brought it down to suicidal uh which is the first

00:02:42.220 time i've been going for fun and stew brought it down to suicidal it's an incredible uh thought

00:02:49.420 experiment on your taxes that you should talk about we also had uh bill o'reilly on today we had chris

00:02:57.880 stewart he is in congress and on intel committee and he talked about what's happening with russia

00:03:03.360 our spending and also nordstream michael malice and michael michael malice is hysterical you don't want

00:03:10.640 to miss it all on today's podcast in 60 seconds gold line would like to remind you that it is

00:03:17.400 possible to use your retirement account to acquire precious metals why would i do that the dollar is

00:03:23.960 great it's going up uh-huh yeah yeah it's called a melt up have you seen what's happening to currencies

00:03:32.900 have you seen did you did you see what happened in britain this just this week most people didn't even

00:03:38.560 pay attention britain the the uh currency over there the the sterling almost uh was wiped out

00:03:46.380 earlier this week why because uh they're they're not gonna print any more money okay what result

00:03:54.200 stock market bonds just fall out of the sky and it almost wipes out the sterling and they're like oh

00:04:01.320 well you know what we're gonna do we're gonna print more money they're on the road to you know a

00:04:05.940 hyperinflation and they're not getting off and that's going to happen to all of us it's just a

00:04:10.500 matter of time we may be last but it's coming you want to preserve something have something in the

00:04:17.780 end and that something should be gold silver platinum whatever find out what's right for your family

00:04:40.200 you're listening to the best of the glenbeck program

00:04:51.880 welcome to the glenbeck program we're glad you're here uh we're being joined by chris stewart

00:05:01.940 a congressman he uh was an air force officer distinguished graduate top of his class

00:05:08.860 uh officer of the training school undergraduate pilot training 14 years as a pilot flying both

00:05:15.480 rescue helicopters oh i don't want to get hurt oh my gosh whatever and a b1b bomber he holds the 0.94

00:05:22.840 world's speed records including the world's record for the fastest non-stop flight around the world

00:05:27.420 he's written 17 books national bestsellers six different languages uh and he's also on you know some

00:05:35.320 of those super secret you know intelligence committees so i wanted to get here and see what

00:05:40.960 we could get from him usually nothing but i thought we'd just pump him for information about what happened

00:05:46.800 uh with the um uh the nordstrom pipelines hello chris how are you hey good morning glenn that's the

00:05:55.280 nicest introduction i've had in a long time yeah well you're a conservative so they're not going to

00:06:01.540 give you nice introductions that's true so uh chris uh tell me what you can about there's a lot of

00:06:09.660 people a lot of people that their first thought with the nordstrom pipeline was oh my gosh did we do

00:06:17.640 this yeah yeah and i think a lot of people have seen the tucker carlson piece and some other writing

00:06:24.300 that just indicated that and let me tell you glenn first we we genuinely don't know sometimes when i

00:06:30.760 come on your program you're kind of teasing me saying you pump me for information that i don't

00:06:34.120 tell you anything sometimes i know but can't say right but in this case we really don't know yet

00:06:39.440 okay wait wait wait wait wait wait so we don't know who did it but are you including we don't know if

00:06:46.300 we did it uh no i i don't think there's any reason to believe that we did it uh and in fact i i think i

00:06:54.740 say with a high high degree of confidence as much as you can in a world that's gone crazy

00:06:59.520 and there's times in the past when i'd say hey i don't think that's true and it turns out to be

00:07:04.500 true later on uh so i say it with a bit of caution but no i don't believe we did it i don't think

00:07:08.960 there's any reason for us to do it if we had done that uh i think we would know uh we would be aware

00:07:15.560 of it there'd be some evidence of it and and i don't believe that's the case the biggest thing glenn i

00:07:20.980 mean you look at us i feel like the grinch if you will i puzzled and puzzled till my puzzler is

00:07:25.820 sore it just doesn't make any sense if you look at every nation it's really hard to create a very

00:07:31.960 plausible explanation for why that nation would do it it's certainly the case if you're trying to

00:07:37.180 argue the u.s did it and by the way some of the reporting on this is is misleading in the sense that

00:07:42.800 they they take the the statement from victoria in inland for example the state department official

00:07:48.160 she's clearly talking about nordstrom too and that they're going to try to pressure germany not to

00:07:52.820 approve opening that pipeline and i think some people misread that say oh see they're threatening

00:07:58.180 to blow it up uh ukraine simply doesn't have the capability and i don't think ukraine would do it

00:08:03.640 because it would stress the the relationship with the allies so much russia on the other hand

00:08:08.880 i think you could make an argument that for one thing they just want to create chaos that's very very

00:08:13.940 clear and this could be a tool for them the the eu is looking at a deadly winter i mean literally a

00:08:21.100 deadly winter there's potential for thousands people maybe tens of thousands people to freeze to

00:08:26.440 death oh my gosh oh my gosh there think about this glenn for the average eu home it's going to cost

00:08:33.320 more than three thousand dollars a month to heat their home over this next winter and i think that

00:08:40.580 russia would have been under enormous pressure to open up that pipeline and this just eliminates

00:08:45.900 that that for them they don't have to they don't have to deal with that international pressure now

00:08:49.720 but i think more than that they love the chaos and my greatest fear is that it shows that this isn't

00:08:56.380 we're not in the wind down phase of this war we're really in the opening stages of it still

00:09:02.320 and if russia did this and my personal belief is that they probably did it shows you that there

00:09:09.300 there's a lot of things a lot of tools that they are still uh still have available to them

00:09:14.940 that are going to make it really difficult for us to step through the next i think six months or

00:09:20.040 and if we don't really know they can claim we did it or anybody else did it and escalate because

00:09:26.840 they immediately said well this gloves come off now if you can do this forget about nukes which

00:09:33.320 they did mention that justifies nukes um but forget about that that means if they claim we did it

00:09:40.500 they could hit our energy infrastructure yeah absolutely and that's one of the very obvious

00:09:47.700 conclusions is that they would claim that we did it regardless of who did it if they did it they're

00:09:54.500 going to say that we did and it's going to open the door for them to retaliate and if you take that

00:09:58.980 in conjunction with what happened yesterday and them claiming that uh there was a this supposed

00:10:03.820 referendum on the four uh you know the four essentials essentially states in eastern ukraine

00:10:10.320 where i mean these these numbers sound stalinistic you know 99 of the people there voted to join with

00:10:16.860 russia 92 of the people in another uh another region voted to join with russia again those are the kind of

00:10:22.740 numbers that uh that stalin would win by and it's it's beyond belief of course but if you combine

00:10:29.220 these two events of the last few days uh you you can see that vladimir putin is is positioning himself

00:10:36.900 he's he again he's not looking to wind things down excuse me he's he's looking to exert more pressure not

00:10:45.120 less so i talked to chad robichow um who was in ukraine just recently and um he actually walked

00:10:54.880 the mass graves he he told me last night because i said before i put you on the air and saying this i've

00:11:00.280 seen the video but i want to make sure you didn't just see a patch of dirt or you saw things that the

00:11:05.440 ukrainian government were saying this is what it was that you actually saw these things and he said glenn

00:11:10.860 i saw women and children with their hands tied behind their back and bullets in their head that

00:11:17.240 they tried to bury quickly because they were leaving this is crimes against humanity yeah i don't think

00:11:25.800 there's any question about that it shows a couple things it shows the desperation of vladimir putin's

00:11:30.880 leadership it shows the inhumanity of leadership which doesn't surprise i think anyone it also shows

00:11:36.500 the results of a hastily assembled an untrained army this is now not a professional army any longer

00:11:42.860 uh many of them are are conscripts that have been in the army for in some cases a matter of a few weeks

00:11:49.580 it's all with very little training if any and including in that you know the laws of war the

00:11:55.500 discipline of a professional soldier that we don't expect from them any longer which brings me to this

00:12:00.900 one point glenn i hope i can make and and i think now stepping back from that and that is okay where are we

00:12:06.320 in the u.s on what are we doing there uh i just finished an editorial that asked this question

00:12:12.020 look in the early days of the war i supported this effort i thought we had to help ukraine and the

00:12:16.740 ukraine military they have shown enormous courage they have demonstrated that courage on the battlefield

00:12:22.040 can change a battlefield in ways that sometimes weapons can't but the president of the united states

00:12:27.480 has to tell the american people now this is our goal in ukraine because if the if president

00:12:33.860 biden agrees with president zelinski that now our objective is to expel every russian from eastern

00:12:39.320 ukraine including crimea then i promise you we will be at war with russia if that is our goal 0.97

00:12:46.460 vladimir putin is not going to leave crimea i mean it was part of russia up until 1958 and when

00:12:54.380 khrushchev drew a line says oh now you're part of of ukraine now and the people there genuinely are

00:13:00.380 ethnically russian they speak russian they want to be with russia and putin is not going to surrender

00:13:06.220 crimea and if president biden agrees with zelinski he needs to embrace the american people for a long

00:13:11.520 long and potentially very deadly war if on the other hand our goal is just to say go back to the pre

00:13:17.260 february invasion lines then he should state that that's our goal so that zelinski knows we're not going

00:13:23.380 to support him going beyond that i think we're at this point now where we have to define why we are

00:13:29.300 there and at what cost is it going to be to achieve the goals of that defined uh being there and this

00:13:37.980 president hasn't done that at all and the result of that glenn is 20 years later we may be in there

00:13:42.600 just like we were in iraq or afghanistan uh the senate just passed a bill last night to fund the

00:13:47.780 government which includes another 12 billion dollars for ukraine chris this has got to stop

00:13:55.920 it's got to stop well and one other thing that a lot of people don't realize we're not just funding

00:14:00.840 their military efforts we're funding their entire government operations including their pension plans

00:14:06.800 we're funding ukrainian pension plans that's right and uh and look i want to help them i am a defense

00:14:15.140 talk and i believe the united states needs to help in this situation but we have to define the limits

00:14:20.520 of our health we owe the american people an explanation for how much money we're willing to

00:14:25.300 spend and how long we're willing to be there and the goals we're trying to achieve chris will you do

00:14:30.320 me a favor would you put me in touch with whomever has all of the information of where this money is

00:14:36.260 going including the pension plans i would love to have you come on the air and explain it to the

00:14:43.440 american people somebody has got to expose all this i think you know honestly my first thought when i saw 0.97

00:14:50.380 the nord stream was i don't think that we did this you know we didn't send our navy seals in to do this

00:14:57.900 there's no way however i'm not convinced that some rogue party somebody and it could be for a million

00:15:06.640 different reasons i'm not convinced that some of our money that has been over there without any

00:15:13.040 accounting didn't give somebody half a billion dollars and say don't blow these things up

00:15:18.560 and we didn't do it but it was maybe possibly our money there's no accountability for any of this

00:15:26.220 and now that would be what 75 trillion a billion dollars that we have spent sent over there

00:15:32.920 five billion dollars can change the world yeah well that's one of the things i also point out in

00:15:42.160 this latest editorial going is that there's no ig there's no accounting we just send the money and

00:15:47.020 hope it ends up where we where we say it does and and by the way keep combined ukraine is one of the

00:15:53.800 most corrupt nations in the world i know i've been for generations they lost seven billion dollars

00:15:59.660 in the during the biden debacle when he was vice president seven billion just kind of just disappeared

00:16:06.360 and nobody ever said anything about it here yeah well that's because seven billion is not that much

00:16:11.240 money go ahead no i know i know i spend that on groceries lately um okay so chris will you uh can i

00:16:19.560 have uh ricky my executive producer reach out to you and and just see if you can help us put some

00:16:26.540 of this stuff together because i did not know that about their pensions that that's insanity

00:16:31.200 that's insanity well and again it's one of those things the american people deserve to know and i think

00:16:37.320 most americans want to help ukraine again glenn they've shown enormous courage we don't have

00:16:41.760 vladimir putin to control that nation but we have to do it in a thoughtful way if we don't look back

00:16:46.600 on the last 20 years and again i'm a defense hawk i'm a former air force guy but you have to look

00:16:52.040 back on the last 20 years in iraq in afghanistan and in libya and a number of other places and say

00:16:57.320 okay what lessons have we learned how can we do this better and we need to apply those lessons to

00:17:03.220 ukraine and this is the time to do that i'd be happy to help you get that information if you want

00:17:07.460 to know where that money is going good luck i don't know who knows that now what i can help you do

00:17:11.940 is find out what specifically the language allows for for example pension funds in ukraine we can

00:17:17.300 help you find that out for sure that's incredible all right chris stewart thank you so much i

00:17:23.420 appreciate everything you do in congress keep strong buddy thank you sir you bet bye-bye uh i may disagree

00:17:29.320 with you know some of the things that uh any of these guys in washington do but um uh this guy

00:17:36.400 is straight as an arrow um and uh we might disagree on you know this issue or that issue but

00:17:44.180 i'm glad he's in washington he knows what he's talking about when it comes to defense

00:17:49.120 and uh we need him in those rooms to speak some sanity i'll tell you if you're going to washington

00:17:57.300 if you're thinking about becoming a congressman or do not get onto the intel committee i think

00:18:03.160 personally it's a trap it's a trap it's a trap you get onto the intel committee and then you can't say

00:18:10.180 anything anything and uh about anything and so you become you're strapped i mean i'll talk to

00:18:19.340 chris about things that you know i know and then i'll get into speculation and it won't be a big deal

00:18:25.900 and he'll be like i can't talk about it can't talk about it okay and i just think it's a trap don't

00:18:34.040 get onto the intel committee this is the best of the glenn beck program and we really want to thank

00:18:41.320 you for listening mr bill o'reilly how are you sir here i am thank you for having me back you bet you bet

00:18:54.880 um uh your check hasn't uh hasn't cleared yet so i don't know if you'll be back next week because

00:19:02.100 you got to keep writing those i wrote that check uh to the haberdashery uh company so that you could 0.97

00:19:08.060 have some decent clothing okay you know you're such a jerk have you seen back lately i mean remember that 0.99

00:19:13.960 remember the word hobo remember that so kind of gets you uh up and running on the uh wardrobe 0.98

00:19:21.900 spectrum that's what happened there so bill the biggest story of the week

00:19:27.580 gotta be ian but you know how do you cover it it's you know a act of god and you know you lived in

00:19:39.400 florida i lived in florida yeah you know when you lived there in california as well anything could

00:19:45.200 happen um and then it happens and everybody's looking at one another but there is some good

00:19:51.980 news here that the federal and state governments do work in a capacity of getting help to people

00:19:59.920 obviously these people's whole lives are destroyed now yeah they got to rebuild and that's just part

00:20:05.220 of life um but you know that's the biggest story of of the week uh the second biggest story of the

00:20:13.420 week is joe biden's continue continuing diminishment yeah in what way the mental diminishment or

00:20:22.960 diminishment on the world stage well i can't calibrate the world stage he's doing the right

00:20:29.820 thing in ukraine um because putin is on the ropes and we just talk about praying if you're going to pray

00:20:37.460 for something he's got to go and i'm hoping that the russian people you know you don't get a lot of

00:20:44.440 reporting out of there but nobody can really be supporting putin and he looks terrible and he's

00:20:51.640 hiding out wait wait wait wait yeah but let's before you get into that let's cover the nordstrom

00:20:57.480 pipeline who do you think did it who's responsible jill jill biden did it jill was in the scoop

00:21:03.600 no come on come on come on who do you think did it went on with a giant hat and just hanged it

00:21:10.020 come on back i mean who who the deuce knows who did it right but do you think that we would have

00:21:16.580 done that do you think we i mean it's no matter what i think about the left i do think there are

00:21:22.660 people that are that are that nefarious but i just can't see our navy seals being ordered to do that

00:21:28.020 and and and us doing that no i i don't think that happened okay but you know what the real

00:21:35.420 tragedy of this is you can watch cable news and hear a half an hour of that

00:21:41.240 you get i mean they just make this stuff up because the ratings are going down so quickly

00:21:47.300 and and they come on oh yeah this is what and you sit there going if there's no facts which there

00:21:55.340 aren't in this okay all you have to say is gee it's possible that maybe putin went down in a diving

00:22:04.020 belt but you can't you know yeah so we had uh we just had chris stewart on um and uh and he's a

00:22:13.420 congressman he's on the intel committee and a highly decorated air force colonel i think um and uh he said

00:22:22.920 you know there there we just we didn't do this but he doesn't say who did it uh and he didn't rule

00:22:30.240 out that some of our money that we're just sending out with with no um accountants uh might have been

00:22:37.560 used by some nefarious figure to uh to do it but his point was doesn't matter it means we're at the

00:22:44.380 beginning of something very very bad not the end and wind down of a war

00:22:49.300 well look europe is going to suffer this winter as the people of florida are suffering now

00:22:57.800 and some of us believe that okay you had an opportunity to get away from russia and you didn't

00:23:07.080 and so this is what happens when you dine with the devil i know you're a big machiavelli fan back

00:23:13.820 but there's a very famous quote if you dine with the devil bring a long spoon because if you get into

00:23:23.780 bed with these evil people they will turn on you and that is what's going to happen this winter in

00:23:30.560 europe it's going to be hilly over there now but here's the worst part of it two years ago i just

00:23:38.840 want everyone listening to beck o'reilly and stew right now think back just two years ago the united

00:23:45.900 states had the most vibrant economy on the planet on earth we were exporting oil and natural gas to

00:23:54.860 foreign countries and reaping the benefits financially of that one man gets elected president

00:24:02.140 and destroys the entire economy in two years including the fuel industry of the usa how horrible

00:24:12.760 is that so if we were energy independent now if trump had been re-elected we would be making billions and

00:24:21.760 billions of dollars and the europeans would not be so chilly this winter how does how does the german

00:24:29.840 government uh not get overthrown if tens of thousands of germans freeze to death and they're not turning 1.00

00:24:38.960 their their nuclear power plants back on how it's up it's up to them i i was in germany a couple of years

00:24:46.160 ago uh it's it's like the united states have you got a phone in their hand they're in there drinking

00:24:52.640 the you know steins i don't know what they're doing over there okay but you're getting punished now

00:24:59.260 because of foolish policy yeah and maybe you guys want to wise up look it's about america are we going

00:25:06.360 to wise up in five weeks back no on november 8th is this country going to wise up i think it might i think

00:25:13.380 i think it's going to go better than well i don't even want to i don't want to i don't want to jinx it

00:25:19.220 i endorse all the democrats how's that um because every time i endorse somebody they lose so i endorse

00:25:25.340 every democrat um i don't know i hope my my feeling is watching things people are waking up i don't know

00:25:34.760 how it plays out but if everyone who wants to save the country isn't voting they um they're part of

00:25:44.500 the problem you've got to go out and vote you have to i can't understand how anybody could vote for a

00:25:50.880 democrat and i'm not a party guy you know that yeah i don't know the republicans i mean are these geniuses

00:25:57.100 no they're not all right but how could you what do you i don't know what the the overall campaign

00:26:03.780 slogan is hey if you want less money vote for the democrats is that what they're campaigning on

00:26:12.680 if you want more bodies in the street vote for us we're going to have more dead people because we're 0.64

00:26:19.920 not going to enforce the law if you want 10 million undocumented migrants vote for us because 1.00

00:26:27.360 we're not shutting anything down you like fentanyl vote for us you'll have plenty of it that's the

00:26:33.480 democratic platform and then we're at that point i've been doing this almost 50 years i've never seen

00:26:41.220 the kind of political insanity in america that i see today and it's affecting every person you are

00:26:49.340 paying more for your cheeseburger hello i can't believe you're gonna can't you're gonna vote for

00:26:56.100 kathy hochel i i new york and they might i can't believe bill that we are at a place to where we all

00:27:03.100 agreed five years ago that pedophilia is bad is bad and should never be normalized we knew that grooming

00:27:12.320 children or showing children what what really is pornography teaching them about sexual acts in the

00:27:20.640 second grade having trans uh drag shows in school libraries and have them strip in front of little 0.98

00:27:30.440 kids we all knew that was wrong all knew i didn't change you changed americans who have for some reason

00:27:42.320 have gone down this road they've gone down this road so far that they've had to just accept that

00:27:49.840 this is okay now and they know it's not they know it's not but if they can't turn the corner now

00:27:57.460 it's only going to get worse yes they're too distracted to get involved i don't think you're

00:28:03.380 going to see a real high turnout in november i think republicans will turn out more than democrats

00:28:09.280 and here's what the polls never show if the african immunity uh african-american community

00:28:15.140 which is getting hammered worse of all by the democrats if they stay home and that's not

00:28:22.000 calibrated by polling then it's a route it's a route and that could very well happen bill o'reilly

00:28:30.900 is with us killing the legends the lethal danger of celebrity is his new book it came out this week

00:28:36.020 john lennon elvis presley and muhammad ali um bill when i saw the movie on elvis i learned a lot i did

00:28:43.300 not know any of that about the colonel um and i didn't know that elvis you know went into or would

00:28:50.840 have been bankrupt when he tried to leave the colonel um and how badly he was used yeah no i mean

00:28:59.780 it's startling and all three of them uh were betrayed uh elvis lennon and ellie by people close

00:29:08.460 to them all three of them were but presley um uneducated kid uh from mississippi changes

00:29:15.940 single-handedly american culture that's why i wrote i wrote the book people say okay this is the 12th

00:29:21.820 killing book the most successful non-fiction book series of all time well why this isn't history yes it

00:29:27.400 is these three individuals changed the way we live in america to this day and elvis blew up the

00:29:35.960 conformity culture of the 1950s post-world war ii dwight eisenhower everybody looked the same sounded

00:29:42.180 the same in six minutes on the ed sullivan show the whole culture crashed because rock and roll was

00:29:47.840 here to stay as danny and the juniors once sang okay and elvis surged and at the same time uh in

00:29:55.860 american society pastors were saying he was an agent of satan they were burning his records

00:30:00.960 parents were yelling at their boys you can't slick your hair back or wear a leather jacket or sneer at

00:30:06.280 me the age of rebellion had begun and and elvis presley for all his tragedy was a titanic historical

00:30:16.820 figure he was and that's why i wrote about it but as far as the micro level is concerned

00:30:22.360 the tom parker has managed to 50 percent of all his earnings plus expenses oh my god

00:30:31.620 parker was a criminal he's a thief and after presley died at age 42 the presley estate had to take

00:30:39.240 parker into court to get some of the money back and but elvis allowed it to happen 0.98

00:30:47.980 he signed the papers it was insane because he was in over his head celebrity crushed him okay so hang

00:31:00.220 on just a second hang on hang on hang on first of all is colonel parker is that true that he uh left

00:31:07.500 someplace in europe because he killed somebody well let's put it this way he was a suspect in a murder

00:31:15.300 in holland he absconded quickly he got on a boat he came to america and he was an illegal alien

00:31:25.400 okay unbelievable and he got a job in a car in the carnival circuit he was a carny and he was

00:31:35.460 associated with a guy named eddie arnold a country singer and discovered elvis presley parker had a

00:31:43.040 shrewd eye for talent and he got his hooks into elvis and never let go so his elvis's estate i just

00:31:51.280 looked this up the other day elvis's estate in 1979 money what was left was uh about four million

00:31:59.380 dollars it's about 25 million 30 million in today's money um so it's sizable but his estate

00:32:06.800 uh in 1979 uh in 1979 money all of his his records all his image and everything else would have been

00:32:14.480 worth i think it was four trillion dollars uh in 1979 money but elvis presley made more money than

00:32:22.260 any uh celebrity on the face of the earth for a period of about five or six years and he came away

00:32:29.120 with nothing and it's a misleading misnomer when he when he died yeah he was worth it but that was

00:32:34.620 because he had grace on the property he had a private jet he had a lot of stuff but cash

00:32:42.300 he didn't have because parker was stealing it why because parker was a degenerate gambler

00:32:49.380 parker lost a million dollars a year in vegas casinos wow and part of the deal reason that

00:32:56.740 elvis was in vegas all the time was that parker made deals saying i'll bring my boy in but you give

00:33:03.680 me unlimited credit in the casino floor unbelievable i mean when you read killing the legends you think

00:33:10.500 you know about elvis and john lennon and mihamed ellie you don't know but also you don't know how

00:33:15.980 they affected us and how we live today i mean between 1964 and 69 american culture changed to sex

00:33:25.440 drugs rock and roll largely because of the beatles and we have that today our permissive

00:33:32.500 culture today stems from the 1960s and the same kind of people i can't say that the lizzos of the

00:33:41.840 world the stars of today are leading us into a deeper darker place uh than anybody was leading well i

00:33:50.740 can't say anybody because it was a pretty dark place with sex drugs and rock and roll in the 60s

00:33:54.820 uh but at least it was surrounded by you know oh this is about love man uh now it's just grotesque

00:34:02.480 okay we're gonna come back with bill o'reilly uh and talk about muhammad ali and uh and john lennon

00:34:07.940 killing the legends the lethal danger of celebrity um he has 18 number one bestsellers mr bill o'reilly

00:34:17.000 this book is out uh right now it came out on tuesday pick it up wherever you get your books

00:34:23.780 the best of the glenn beck program

00:34:30.000 michael malice welcome to the uh program thanks so much glenn good um you know i i you are so much

00:34:46.340 good yeah good you are uh you're you're so funny i just read your tweet about you know the worst thing

00:34:53.480 that schools uh teach um and and i've been watching gavin newsom and i'm convinced gavin newsom is running

00:35:03.360 in 2024 and if it's 2024 2028 it will be gavin newsom and uh and uh desantis and it will be

00:35:15.980 is this state working or is this state the future and he's so transparent on what he's doing

00:35:24.020 yeah i i agree with a lot of that first of all i don't know that it would be this state versus that

00:35:29.520 state because we would all love a political system where people argue about the issues and what's your

00:35:35.780 vision for america it would be is this state working versus do you want nazism in the white house i think

00:35:41.260 that's how the campaign would be with the full support of the corporate press but i i think it's

00:35:46.640 really funny because there's a lot of conservatives i i i think and i can think it totally wrong who

00:35:51.100 believe that you know god forbid something happens president biden and and officer harris becomes the

00:35:56.300 president that she'd be a lock for the nomination 2024 and i think that's absolutely no way no way 0.99

00:36:01.920 because there's so much lip service sure for women and for minorities but when you look at how the

00:36:07.280 democratic party votes in the primaries if you look at 2020 it was biden bernie sanders elizabeth

00:36:13.240 warren pete buddha judge mike bloomberg and amy klobuchar had the most votes cory booker went nowhere

00:36:19.080 telsey gabbert went nowhere uh kamala harris went nowhere she just got picked as a token hire uh by joe

00:36:25.700 biden towards the end so not only she has a lock i don't think she has a good shot and i think if you

00:36:32.600 ask californians now or in 2020 who would you rather see as president gavin newsom or kamala harris

00:36:39.420 he'd mop the floor with her oh yeah yeah yeah yeah uh but i'm not sure america wants gavin 0.99

00:36:44.500 gavin newsom uh by any stretch of the imagination no he's basically patrick bateman if you look at him

00:36:51.240 he's an 80s super villain from wall street with that with that pomade uh and that smirk on his face

00:36:57.980 where he's you know at the end the movie he's just put in his place and kind of kicked out as

00:37:03.140 the landlord he's like you know so many tropes put into one um and what he's done with california

00:37:08.980 i have to give him credit and i think you'd like this as well he is unapologetically progressive

00:37:15.200 oh yeah and stands for what he stands for he's like this is the right way i'm like say like an

00:37:19.240 andrew yang who's a snake who pretends he's not left or right but only argues for leftist views

00:37:24.760 he is for his um issues and i think that's very attractive to voters in his party yeah i i will

00:37:35.240 tell you and that's why i think um uh i think that uh ron de santis is popular as well he's unashamed

00:37:43.240 of what he's doing however the the problem is going to be quickly is that florida will prosper

00:37:51.280 but everything he's doing in california is going to make it so much worse and expensive

00:37:58.940 but i i don't think democrats necessarily vote in terms of quality of life uh they're they're more

00:38:06.700 interested in having their agenda prescriptions put forward and then they shrug their shoulders

00:38:10.980 in terms of why that everyone else should be miserable and we saw this with the begging

00:38:15.940 for ongoing lockdowns and the begging for more quarantining and so on and so forth they want

00:38:22.020 everyone to be miserable and equal so i think doesn't that end at some point

00:38:28.900 don't you know what mrs thatcher said the problem of socialism is eventually run out of other people's

00:38:34.580 money uh it ends in disaster it ends in baltimore uh you know it ends in you know britain in the

00:38:40.340 1970s um but you know try telling these you know affluent white women that their policies are 1.00

00:38:47.600 disastrous they don't feel that pain it's poor people who feel the pain and they can just you

00:38:52.280 know dust up their shoulders and say let them eat cake i don't know i think i mean seven trillion

00:38:57.780 dollars has been lost on the stock market uh and four trillion of that is from very wealthy

00:39:03.860 individuals i mean uh and we haven't even begun on uh you know on the loss of the dollar and the stock

00:39:12.040 market i think the stock market could we could have could be you know 15 000 points or 18 000 points

00:39:19.120 easily uh that's a lot of money to be taken away from rich people well i agree and in which case

00:39:26.200 they can that's why they it'd be easy for them to blame biden you know he teased the fall guy in 2024

00:39:31.700 somehow it's the republican salt and they have a clean slate with gavin newsom let me ask you this

00:39:37.560 um the um and it might be too soon so i want to be very careful because i i have sympathy for

00:39:44.060 everybody who has lost their home and you know and mercury one is down in florida right now um helping

00:39:50.140 the residents there but i'm talking about the the gulf i mean the um uh the beachfront homes

00:39:58.640 that are you know million ten million dollar homes that should not be built there because

00:40:07.660 you know in the old days you couldn't get insurance to build the house and then all of a sudden the

00:40:14.460 federal government said oh we'll insure that well why are we insuring those houses and i want to take

00:40:21.600 care of everybody that is there etc etc but shouldn't we have a conversation about living

00:40:28.500 on the coast in a in a hurricane zone or a flood zone that if you want to do that you should do

00:40:35.980 that at your own risk now that'll mean a lot of rich people are the only ones that live there but

00:40:41.220 so be it as long as i'm not paying for their house their house we shouldn't be insuring as a

00:40:47.960 federal government places where people shouldn't be really living unless it's at their own risk

00:40:53.900 well i mean you could extrapolate that even further we shouldn't be subsidizing college loans

00:40:58.800 right and i agree back because if you take out a loan any kind of loan you know it's really funny

00:41:04.800 i read kamala harris's autobiography and she discusses when she was an attorney general how and her claim

00:41:10.840 it was just amazing to see in writing was that you know we should have bailed out all these mortgages

00:41:15.920 because when the bank lends you money that's them saying you can afford to pay it back and if you

00:41:21.360 can't that's their fault oh my gosh it was amazing and you're like holy crap like it's really when you

00:41:27.280 see something like that in black and white it's like okay there's no whether this person is being

00:41:31.520 honest or not there's no conversation possible to be had with them this is a completely martian

00:41:36.480 worldview as far as i'm concerned yeah and it's it's a it's a worldview that in particular is a worldview

00:41:40.900 where you have no responsibility you know it's i i went to um i went to uh the i think it's the

00:41:50.220 southern side of the grand canyon the the native american side the navajo side and they have no walls

00:41:56.780 they have no um you know fencing up on the cliff that falls right straight down into the canyon

00:42:04.780 and i said to one of the guys there i said how many deaths do you have a year and he said we don't

00:42:11.020 have any he said on like your side your government puts up all these these walls and fences and everyone

00:42:18.120 thinks oh well they wouldn't make it so i could climb over it if it was too dangerous he said here

00:42:25.200 people see oh it's a rock slide to your death and he said so nobody approaches it and that's her kind 1.00

00:42:32.920 of thinking that's the bank saying i can afford it so if they say it i can no you've got to look at it

00:42:41.580 it's a system of everyone bailing each other out and we're basically living on lifeboat lifeboats

00:42:48.300 and at a certain point you can't bail everyone out and everyone just starts to think it's a very

00:42:52.820 dangerous snowball game uh and you know i was not a fan of 2008 to put it mildly yeah and at a certain

00:43:00.960 point that credit card is going to run out and the piper is going to come do and then if you think

00:43:05.820 inflation is bad now things are would really get ugly then you know i learned from uh the congressman

00:43:11.700 chris stewart today that our bailing out or our funding uh of ukraine right now we are actually paying

00:43:19.360 for the retirement funds for the government of ukraine right now did you know that

00:43:24.460 well i'm i'm in favor of giving money for politicians to retire so yeah let's put them

00:43:31.840 in a nice old folks home and put some of the andrew cuomo people quarantined in there and everything 1.00

00:43:36.420 will work out so i know you're one of the guys who will actually say what they're thinking um you know

00:43:42.600 probably to your detriment at times and i i would like to know what do you think about the nord stream

00:43:51.280 uh pipelines i think this is the kind of thing where you know we have the propaganda we're taught

00:43:59.380 our lives that america's the good guys uh and you know we never do anything shady there's so much

00:44:05.760 information misinformation going on about ukraine and russia and pipelines and things like that i have

00:44:11.320 no idea uh it's i wish life were as simple as good versus evil maybe that was the case in world war ii

00:44:17.700 except we don't talk about stalin because we don't know where to fit him in there because he was on

00:44:21.140 our side right so i i i agree with you that i am perfectly happy speaking my mind i do not have

00:44:27.000 the information at hand and i don't think any of us do good for you um one last uh one last question

00:44:33.380 you brought up um you know kamala harris and how she's uh she was a token woman that was uh plopped in 1.00

00:44:41.580 there i don't think there was ever any serious i i really believe that the democrats have come to a

00:44:47.520 point i mean fetterman is a great example of this they don't want a thinking human being in there

00:44:52.700 they just want rubber stamps would you agree with that well yes because i mean biden was picked just

00:44:59.640 because he's a party man but i just think it also speaks to how bad the republican party is that odds

00:45:06.740 in many polls is behind a literal stroke victim i mean what does that speak to the bench the republicans

00:45:12.120 have and who they're attracting it's just shameful or or is that how good is the indoctrination

00:45:20.420 that republican bad democrat good no matter who they are well and and i think a lot of that stems

00:45:27.860 from putting kids in government schools which thankfully is decreasing exponential rate and which

00:45:33.400 is to me the most biggest silver lining facing the future of this country how many people how many

00:45:39.160 children excuse me are being liberated from government schooling so the the reason why i led you to

00:45:45.360 kamala harris is um what is it going to take for women and you know the women's march people 0.96

00:45:54.080 they they just tweeted um yesterday we're not just the women's march we're not just pro-choice we are

00:46:01.880 proudly unapologetically pro-abortion which you see the top response which got three times as many

00:46:08.940 likes as they did what it was me saying repeal the 19th amendment

00:46:13.140 oh my gosh that is sure they love that that's hysterical um but i wanted to ask you hang on

00:46:26.920 i'm clicking on it now i gotta see oh my gosh um the uh the um the thing i wanted to ask you was

00:46:35.540 what is it going to take for the women who claim to care about women and women's rights 1.00

00:46:39.760 to stand up for the women in iran it's i haven't heard i haven't heard a peep out of anyone in the

00:46:48.640 democratic party about iran progressivism is domesticate imperialism and their vision of

00:46:54.380 imperialism is they have to bring civilization to the savages in america by which they mean the red 0.98

00:46:59.480 states uh so they're they're they really you saw this with obama when he was like okay america's too

00:47:04.940 big a force in the world stage we need to pull back he didn't mean in kind of a nationalistic

00:47:09.080 you know donald trump kind of way he just meant because the rest of the world didn't really

00:47:12.500 interest them they're very focused on managing and micromanaging the economy and culture in their

00:47:16.980 own country and the rest of the world in a sense doesn't really exist to them other than when it

00:47:21.180 appears in the page of the new york times michael your response has double the numbers of uh the

00:47:28.860 women's march that say we're unapologetically pro-abortion uh you have double the number

00:47:34.700 would just repeal the 19th amendment and the one that has uh just under the same amount as the women's 1.00

00:47:44.140 march was wow you really are into recreational baby killing thanks for clarifying holy cow yeah

00:47:54.220 michael thank you so much have a great weekend always a pleasure guys you bet bye-bye michael ballas

00:47:58.860 you
