00:00:00.000 Welcome to the podcast. Hope your quarantine is going well. Today on the program, we talk about

00:00:06.580 the Profiles in Courage, Elizabeth Warren. Just an incredible, incredibly brave moment as she

00:00:12.820 tries to figure out what she should do now that she's no longer running for president,

00:00:17.620 dealing with the Chinese virus controversy. We get into that as well. Pat Gray joins us.

00:00:23.740 We have Bill O'Reilly, who is on for the hour to tell us the best things and the worst things about

00:00:30.100 the media coverage going on, and how is this going to affect the re-election of Donald Trump.

00:00:35.200 And we talked to a reverend who was told he was not allowed to hold church because of coronavirus.

00:00:41.620 He's going to wind up doing it anyway. We'll talk to him about his reasoning there as well.

00:00:46.840 And make sure to check out Stew Does America today. We are going into...

00:00:51.920 Stew Does the Chinese Chernobyl. And showing all the things that went on with that situation, 0.96

00:00:58.880 not pretty. Get into that. Go over and subscribe. Search for Stew Does America. And click the

00:01:04.500 subscribe button. We'd all feel so much better. And you'd probably cure someone from something.

00:01:08.520 I don't know what. Here's the podcast.

00:01:15.560 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:01:18.140 It's Friday, so I asked Pat to join us a little early, because I just got a few things that...

00:01:26.460 Pat, I can't take it anymore. I just... I can't take it anymore. I can't take...

00:01:32.020 I can't... I can't... I just can't... I watch the news, and it's like not... Do these people

00:01:37.040 have lives at all? Do they... I mean, I don't get it. What's happening?

00:01:41.420 I mean, you could be talking about so many different things. What specifically are you

00:01:45.700 referring to? Is it the China virus thing?

00:01:51.440 Well, I think they have a point on the China virus thing.

00:01:54.520 Oh, you do?

00:01:55.840 I do. I do. I think that's really... I mean... Well, I didn't when he was just calling it

00:02:00.180 the China virus, because he hadn't been calling it the China virus. He's only calling it the

00:02:05.540 China virus because he knows it pisses them off. That's why. 1.00

00:02:09.780 Right? Okay. That... And I think because China's trying to blame us for it, and he resents

00:02:15.780 that a lot. Correct. And so do I. Correct. Resents it. So do I. Yes, so do I. This is China 0.82

00:02:20.120 propaganda. However, I mean, I thought yesterday... Did you see the press conference yesterday

00:02:24.780 when he walked out? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know, usually the president will have...

00:02:28.940 When he walks out, and I did think it was a little over the top when he walked out to...

00:02:34.040 He walked out to this music. Do we have that from the press conference?

00:02:39.780 I thought...

00:02:41.780 China.

00:02:45.780 I thought this was...

00:02:50.120 You know, to have the Marine band play this as he walks out, I thought...

00:02:55.120 He's just trolling the media at this point.

00:02:58.660 You know, that's all he's...

00:03:00.420 All right, stop. That's so offensive.

00:03:02.420 It's way over the top.

00:03:03.120 That was way over the top.

00:03:04.300 It's way over the top for him to do. And then when he went out, it is Chinese, if you 1.00

00:03:13.680 please. I thought, that's beneath the president. It's just beneath the president to do.

00:03:19.380 Well, he's a businessman. So I think that makes it okay. He's a businessman.

00:03:25.180 Well, no. The Asian lobby is pretty powerful. I mean, they'll go after his businesses. 0.99

00:03:31.440 Yeah.

00:03:31.680 You know? And I thought, boy, he doesn't care. He just doesn't care to have that played behind

00:03:40.640 him when he walked out. So I was for him, you know, because I thought he was making a

00:03:44.420 point. And then when he did that, I was like, that's just racist. You know what I mean?

00:03:48.700 He does seem a little over the top. Yeah. I mean, I get the point that he's making because

00:03:53.420 he really, for weeks, was calling it like the coronavirus. And then until they started

00:04:00.560 complaining about it, then he's now crossing it off on his speeches and writing in the word

00:04:04.860 Chinese. Seriously. I have no problem calling it the COVID-19, blah, blah, blah. But this 1.00

00:04:12.000 is crazy. This is Chinese propaganda. This is what they're trying to do. And our press 0.98

00:04:20.880 is picking right up on it. So it's not anti-China. I don't have a problem with Chinese people, with

00:04:27.660 people who are Asian. I have no problem with that. No problem. What's really, really disturbing 1.00

00:04:35.180 is how we are being forced to change this when MERS is Middle Eastern respiratory.

00:04:46.400 Okay. That's what MERS is. The swine flu. How do you think pigs feel about that? The Spanish 1.00

00:04:55.480 flu. We've always done this. Always done this. West Nile virus. That's how you identify these

00:05:03.740 things. This is Chinese propaganda. And our president is just standing up against the press

00:05:11.620 because the press is doing the job of the Chinese Communist Party. It's craziness. It's craziness. 0.53

00:05:20.680 So I, for one, I mean, I really kind of want, I want to go overboard and make a real, I mean,

00:05:28.980 did you hear what he walked out on yesterday? It was, it was real. I thought this was just

00:05:36.300 China. I thought, especially they didn't even have the right instruments. They were playing it on

00:05:47.580 kettles and the back of White House pots. And I thought this is too far, but stop. Uh, but I, I,

00:05:56.460 I mean, part of me just wants to just rub it in their face because I'm so sick of it, man. I am so

00:06:04.220 sick of it. It has nothing to do with race, has nothing to do with China, has everything to do with

00:06:09.880 communist disinformation. Yeah. And it would be one thing too, if the media was approaching it like

00:06:15.340 this, Hey, when, when this all started, we were all calling it Wuhan flu or Wuhan virus. That was the

00:06:21.360 name we all had. But now, you know, look, they've given it an official name and we think it's the

00:06:24.900 appropriate thing to call it. Like, I would still say we need to make sure we point out what the

00:06:29.500 Chinese government has done because it's a really crucial part of the story. However, like it would 0.95

00:06:34.740 at least be an understandable line of thinking. Instead, what they're saying is completely denying

00:06:42.580 that they ever said it and not even acknowledging it. Right. And then just coming out and saying it's

00:06:48.020 automatically and obviously racist for anyone to use it at any time. And denying all reality of naming

00:06:53.940 every other bad disease we've had from German measles on. I have to tell you, this is not

00:07:00.740 about racism at all. This is about reality. This is all about reality. First of all, what

00:07:07.160 kind of sweet ass world do you live in where this is your biggest problem? I mean, the media 0.98

00:07:13.120 think of their life. This is what they're talking about. There, there, there's a report out

00:07:19.040 today. Let me look it up. There's a report out today that says some incredible, incredible

00:07:25.380 number here. Let me look. No, no, no, no, no. Okay. Bank of America says recession is already

00:07:33.760 here. There's a, there's a story. I don't know where it is right now that a large percentage

00:07:39.900 of our small businesses will be out of business in 45 days. And we're arguing about that. Seriously,

00:07:52.380 this is your biggest problem. It just shows the media is so far out of touch. I'm telling

00:07:59.080 you, this is, this is the beginning of the end for them. They, they've already discredited

00:08:06.860 themselves so much, but all of these politicians did well, except for Elizabeth Warren. She 1.00

00:08:13.720 did something very brave. I don't know if you guys know this, but she was very, very

00:08:18.840 brave. Do we, in fact, do we have the profiles of courage music? Could we please? Cause this

00:08:25.160 was, you know, sometimes I think of Elizabeth Warren and I think to myself, it is, it is, 0.94

00:08:33.800 it's about damn time that we have a native American who steps to the plate and leads the 0.89

00:08:42.800 way. I mean, this was her people's home long before we came. Yesterday, Elizabeth Warren, 0.98

00:08:53.100 she did something that not a lot of people are willing to do. She did something that, oh

00:08:59.180 yeah, you can mock it. You can make fun of it all you want. You could stand around and

00:09:03.920 not say anything about it, but this proud native American that sometimes is caught off

00:09:08.680 the side of the highway with just a tear rolling down her cheek, looking at the litter. What

00:09:15.060 has happened? What has happened to my country? And dare I say it? Not only what, but how?

00:09:24.640 No. Yes. This proud native American who's never used another race to further herself or her

00:09:36.640 career. No, no, no. Yesterday she said enough, enough. So she took to Twitter after Trump was

00:09:47.120 on that Twitter machine explaining why he signed the defense protection act, which should increase

00:09:54.220 the production of medical equipment needed to combat the outbreak. But, oh no, she didn't

00:09:58.580 concentrate on that. No, no. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Ventilators, breathing machines, whatever.

00:10:04.740 Can we talk about the real problem? Because when he took to Twitter, he said, I only signed

00:10:10.780 the defense protection act to combat the Chinese virus, China, and we should invoke it in the worst 0.99

00:10:17.800 case scenario in the future. Hopefully there will be no need, but we're all in this together.

00:10:22.880 No, that's when this proud native American, first American, if I may, stood up or sat down,

00:10:31.020 whatever. She got on Twitter. She said, President Trump, are your eyes stitched shut? Hospitals

00:10:38.240 need test kits, ventilators, and other medical supplies. That's why the DPA exists. Stop dragging

00:10:43.680 your feet and burying your head and start helping hospitals that are about to be slammed by this

00:10:49.520 pandemic. But she blurred out the word Chinese. Yes, that's what she did. She blurred the word

00:10:58.280 Chinese out of her, quote, tweet of Trump. When someone like Elizabeth Warren stands against 1.00

00:11:07.640 all odds. In the face of the crashing waters. She stands there. They're on the point. They're at

00:11:17.260 the peak, looking down at all of us. Says, I'm not afraid. I'm going to blur the word Chinese. 0.95

00:11:24.660 And she puts it all into perspective. It's not about some virus. It's not about some ventilators.

00:11:32.520 It's really about racism. And I think it's, I think it's high time, America, that we all look deep

00:11:41.440 inside of ourselves. Yeah, that white part of you. And say, what can we learn from this proud 0.97

00:11:49.540 Native American? Elizabeth Warren. I think we can learn an awful lot. What can we do? What can we

00:11:57.960 not do because of Elizabeth Warren? I, for one, I'm going to blur. I'm going to blur every, every time

00:12:06.520 I see the word Chinese, I'm going to blur it. Blur it in my mind. Spray paint it out. I'm not having

00:12:12.560 Chinese food. I'm not going to a Chinese restaurant. I'm just going to a plain old restaurant.

00:12:19.540 When they reopen. I'm just going to eat plain old food. Yeah. Chinese food. No, I'm having

00:12:27.440 American food. That's what I'm having. Yeah, sure. It might have a side of bat soup. But that's a good 1.00

00:12:37.960 old American recipe. Unless it becomes offensive to say that. Then, of course, it's back to Chinese 1.00

00:12:45.640 food. Not sure how we're going to play this game all the way out. But that's who she is. Elizabeth

00:12:52.380 Warren. Another profile in Courage. This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:12:59.160 Hi, it's Glenn. If you're a subscriber to the podcast, can you do us a favor and rate

00:13:14.340 us on iTunes? If you're not a subscriber, become one today and listen on your own time.

00:13:19.680 You can subscribe on iTunes. Thanks, Mr. Bill O'Reilly. Are you quarantined? Will people

00:13:28.460 actually deliver things to your house? Because they must know. Why would they change now?

00:13:34.920 Right. Okay. I was going to say, you're like the guy. You were the guy in the end. Get

00:13:38.320 off my lawn, you kids. And they're 45 year old men. That's you. You're the guy who, even

00:13:44.360 when you were 20, was the old guy in the neighborhood shouting at kids, weren't you?

00:13:49.400 Thank you, Beck. You're so kind. This is like the Adams family house here. Okay. So nobody

00:13:56.840 ever comes. And I wouldn't know if I was quarantined or not. Right. Nobody comes to visit you.

00:14:05.080 But I have a giant bazooka in case that Midler shows up.

00:14:08.980 Good. You know, so what I'd like to. What? Go ahead. The dumbest. No, no, go. The dumbest

00:14:15.360 statement. I'm keeping lists now of all the pandemic occurrences. I have lists, about 50 1.00

00:14:24.140 of them. And I have the dumbest statement list. All right. Bette Midler. Bette Midler tweeted 1.00

00:14:33.540 that she believes President Trump is lying about not having the coronavirus because he's

00:14:44.580 lied 16,500 times before. Bette Midler. Now, can you stop that? Can you, can anyone stop

00:14:54.700 that? No. Well, all of the people who are saying that Donald Trump is a racist by calling this

00:15:03.380 the China virus? He doesn't have a problem calling it COVID. He doesn't have, he, he's

00:15:08.320 trolling them. He's trolling them and they don't get it.

00:15:12.860 It's not Bette. She, she wins. So I got all the lists and, and just tell me, Beck, what

00:15:22.360 you are interested in, in this pandemic. Well, and I will tell you what really is happening.

00:15:29.880 And this is what we do on billoreilly.com, which is far and away. The blaze is good. I

00:15:34.720 understand, but this is protecting you and your family. You got to go to my website. Go

00:15:41.020 ahead. All right. So, so Bill, here's what I would like to know. Uh, and this is, and

00:15:45.240 I know you don't like to make personal comments or, you know, anything like that, but I'd like

00:15:48.560 you, I'd like to know where are you on the scale of, please, this is nothing. We're

00:15:55.420 overreacting to my gosh, we're all going to die. Where are you on that scale?

00:16:01.500 I understand the danger to the public. All right. So when you have a virus that's invisible

00:16:10.780 and spreads quickly through airborne, which means droplets in the air, you have to take

00:16:18.980 extraordinary measures. You have to. All right. That's where you start. You start there. Now,

00:16:24.600 what are the extraordinary measures? So just this morning I got up, I went out, I filled

00:16:31.160 my car up with gasoline. Okay. So I have a full tank. I went to the dog food place because

00:16:38.640 I don't want the dog to starve and the dog, Beck, you're not going to believe this, but the

00:16:43.620 dog does not know how to open cans on her own. She can't. My dog does. My dog looks

00:16:51.640 at the can, can't figure out how to open it. So I get the dog food for the next three weeks

00:16:57.860 so I don't have to worry about the dog. Then I go to Walgreens. All right. To get a birthday

00:17:04.140 card because birthdays don't stop in the middle of the pandemic. I get the car. You know, you

00:17:10.260 can do all this online. Just go ahead. Yeah. You see the guys. That's ridiculous. I see

00:17:16.040 my guy Walgreens. I wave to him. I got, I go, got any toilet paper? No, we won't have

00:17:21.280 any until the year 2030. I said, okay, good. Um, and goodbye. Then I go to the bagel place.

00:17:28.660 All right. And I get a couple of bagels. Um, and then I come home to talk to you. So that's

00:17:36.200 exactly what I did. And then when I came home, I washed up. I did wash up because I had the gas

00:17:43.320 nozzle. I had the Walgreens door. So I washed up. I washed up nice. And now I'm clean talking

00:17:49.660 to you. Right. Okay. So you're, you're just saying I'm not really changing anything in my

00:17:57.280 life. Uh, you know, I'm, are you, are you still going out to eat and you know, things like

00:18:02.980 that? Or can you even in Long Island? You can't do that in New York. Um, you can't go to the

00:18:08.460 restaurant. You can do takeout. And since I don't know how to cook and I got to do takeout or I die.

00:18:15.660 Got it. Um, so takeout is all right. I talked to my doctor. I said, is there any danger of,

00:18:24.480 you know, the takeout and, uh, you know, look, I, it's so remote that, you know, if you want to

00:18:32.420 starve yourself, go ahead. But I would eat the takeout, which is what I'm doing. Um, so look,

00:18:38.500 otherwise you have to eat, you might have to eat the dog. Your overarching question, though,

00:18:41.060 is an important question for all Americans listening today. So you, you're in the middle of

00:18:45.720 this thing. It's, it's, um, there are, there is fault here and we'll get to that. I hope a little

00:18:51.360 bit later on whose fault this is, because there is fault, but no one can do anything about it.

00:18:58.500 So de Blasio, the mayor of New York city comes out and says, Oh, I want the military

00:19:02.340 in the city. This is what he says today. All right. And I support that as long as

00:19:08.400 they arrest the Blasio. If the military, I think they'd like to, I think they'd like to.

00:19:16.480 Hey, now there are 4,000 cases in a city of eight and a half million. All right. 4,000

00:19:22.440 cases. There will be more. All right. And then you've got a packed city. I don't live in a city

00:19:27.320 of 20 miles outside the city. You got a part of people live on one. So that's a dangerous

00:19:32.060 situation. It is. You got to be careful, but that city, that city will, people, people don't

00:19:38.760 have any idea how dangerous that city is. You have 8 million people living in a very small

00:19:45.320 area. Yeah. And nobody has food. You don't, you don't store food there. You just go get

00:19:51.640 it. If everything's closed, that city is a ticking time bomb. The national guard should

00:19:58.280 be there. Look, closed is California. This is, and this gets me. Oh, we want you to shelter

00:20:04.440 in place. You know, that is the most annoying phrase. It's worse than at the end of the day.

00:20:13.960 What? Shelter in place. Why?

00:20:17.180 It's just annoying. It's San Francisco annoying. All right? Okay. All right. All right. If you want

00:20:23.620 me to stay in the house, I'm going to stay in the house. I don't want a shoker in place. 1.00

00:20:30.580 Right. Okay. All right. Okay. So what are your thoughts on the government coming out? Not

00:20:37.280 the government, the state governments coming out and saying, you must close your business

00:20:42.360 in Oklahoma of all places. They're telling people to call the state government and report

00:20:49.280 if anyone is still doing business. You don't have a right to do that. What are your thoughts

00:20:56.320 on it? Right. But you lose, because all the, and I looked this up because Bill O'Reilly.com

00:21:02.560 does this. All the precedents of the legal rulings always put public safety ahead of constitutional

00:21:10.240 rights. Thereby, politicians have the right to declare martial law. They have a right to quarantine.

00:21:17.500 They have a right to stop people coming and going. Do you realize there's a county, a beautiful

00:21:23.160 county in Colorado, San Miguel County, that's Telluride, 8,000 people. You can't go there.

00:21:30.280 They will stop you. They don't want anyone coming into the county at all. No human beings can come

00:21:37.540 in. Now that's clearly unconstitutional. But if you challenge it, number one, the judges wouldn't

00:21:43.460 show up to hear it, because they're all in the basement hiding. And number two, you would lose

00:21:48.300 on public safety. So that's what's happening. So are you concerned at all about any of the

00:21:55.100 constitutional rights? Like, for instance, there's only one guy in Washington, D.C. that is an FFL

00:22:03.100 dealer, a guy who can sell guns. Only one. Because apparently years ago, the city screwed

00:22:10.640 him. And so they made him some stupid promise that you're going to be the only one that could 1.00

00:22:15.160 sell guns. Well, he won't sell guns now. I mean, how do you feel about things like that? 0.99

00:22:22.040 Where long, long run. And I'm always a long run guy. I think this is over by June. All right. I could

00:22:30.040 be wrong on that. And maybe I'm irresponsible putting forth that opinion. But if I'm looking at

00:22:35.360 what happened to China and China's totalitarian, so they shut Wuhan province down. Talk about

00:22:41.160 nobody and nobody out. I mean, the army just shut it down. Well, they don't have many new cases over

00:22:46.760 there in the whole country. So it looks to me like this is a two-month ordeal if we are prudent.

00:22:55.280 And we are. Americans are prudent. I mean, you know, a lot of people outside of the spring break

00:22:59.960 idiots doing irresponsible stuff. So I see it abating or dissipating every Memorial Day. But 0.99

00:23:10.100 the Second Amendment is stronger, will emerge stronger, way much, much, much stronger.

00:23:16.760 Than it was before the pandemic. And there are a lot of things like that. All right. The financial

00:23:23.100 community is going to be in a little trouble. People are going to reevaluate whether they buy

00:23:27.320 stocks. So you buy stocks, you hold on, they go up for three, four years, you're happy. And in one

00:23:31.620 day, it's gone. You got to think about it. So I want to, you know, I want to start that. I want to,

00:23:36.200 we're going to take a quick break. And then I want to come back to that. Because there's some real

00:23:40.260 problems, Bill, that I don't know how you combat and, and, and, and how do you, I mean, what's the

00:23:47.920 world look like in, we're doing this for three months from now, most small businesses have about

00:23:54.480 45 days of survival. How do you, how do you help them? What, what's, what, what is the world going to

00:24:00.180 look like? You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program. Do these state governments have

00:24:07.560 the right to tell you what to do and not to do? And they can make real strong recommendations, but

00:24:15.900 especially when it comes to your first amendment, don't you have a right to congregate? Don't you

00:24:24.180 have a right to come together? Now in you, when you look at this, uh, the state always seems to win

00:24:34.140 in the courts, uh, to be able to say, no, it's for public health, but where does that right begin

00:24:40.780 and end? Well, there is one pastor. He is the pastor of life tabernacle church. Uh, he's in

00:24:48.800 Baton Rouge and he is defying the governor. Uh, his name is Reverend Tony Spell and he is on the

00:24:58.020 phone with us now. Reverend, how are you, sir? Better than I deserve. How are you, Glenn? Um, I'm good.

00:25:06.360 So now tell me what exactly is, is happening there with your church? What is happening is, um,

00:25:14.360 we have, uh, continued to assemble since the governor's orders, uh, last week, Sunday morning.

00:25:24.460 I had 1170 people in attendance. We ran 27 Sunday school buses that reach, uh, the impoverished

00:25:33.900 areas of our city. We bring those children to our churches. We picked up 643 children last week.

00:25:41.780 We feed everyone a breakfast. Uh, we teach them the word of God and we have recreation and,

00:25:49.420 uh, pray over everybody. And we do that on a weekly basis. Uh, this is, this is important. I would

00:25:59.040 imagine Tony, cause it's an impoverished area and like, there's a lot of children. Now, if you're

00:26:03.660 not going to school, you're not getting breakfast, you may not get lunch. Uh, and so you're providing

00:26:09.700 food. Um, but, but the governor doesn't like that. Um, and I, there's a controversy, I guess,

00:26:18.700 in the press on whether they sent the national guard to shut you down or not. National guard

00:26:24.060 said, no, we have nothing to do with that. Can you tell me what happened?

00:26:27.780 What happened was, uh, Sunday morning, of course, we had a parking lot full of people. So a reporter

00:26:34.120 came by and then Tuesday asked what we were having service again. So she came, uh, us representative

00:26:42.020 Woody Jenkins live streams, my service with over 100,000 viewers at that point. Um, central, uh,

00:26:51.360 police department showed up on my front porch. I want to clarify, uh, what happened with that

00:26:57.960 later if I could. And it was made that the national guard would be deployed to disband groups of 50

00:27:06.680 or more. I prayed over that individual. I gave him an anointed cloth and I respected, uh, what he was

00:27:13.520 doing. And I said, uh, you're doing your job. We're doing our job as a church. Uh, within, within 12

00:27:23.020 hours I had, uh, the governor's office meet with me in my office here at my church. Also, uh, uh,

00:27:32.380 members of Washington, uh, that are connected with the white house have also reached out to me

00:27:38.860 and the whole tenure has changed somewhat as far as the, um, you know, the, the being persecuted for

00:27:47.360 the faith. However, um, I guess some of our greatest persecution right now is coming from,

00:27:54.000 um, other people that are asking us to stop having our services, which we hold as a conviction and we

00:28:02.880 will not stop having our services. So what happened at the, what happened with the phone calls and the,

00:28:11.880 the visit from the governor? What, what, what were they saying? What did the white house say to you?

00:28:17.360 Uh, they said, Reverend, we're not asking you to close your doors. What can we do to accommodate

00:28:25.180 you? I said, there are no guidelines. If I go across the border three hours, there's thousands

00:28:31.200 of people gathering on beaches. Uh, if I go five miles up the road, uh, Walmart target or still

00:28:41.480 assembling because they're quote unquote essential parts of our community, which is what's not being

00:28:49.100 said is, is speaking volumes. That's saying the church is a non-essential part of our community.

00:28:54.340 And I believe that we are more essential to our community. I've, I've had, uh, two teenage girls

00:29:01.940 attempt suicide this week because their parents have lost their jobs. Uh, they're not in school.

00:29:09.360 It's a time of peril and distress. So, uh, basically they said, Reverend, we know you're going to keep

00:29:16.440 your doors open. We just ask that you comply with it, with whatever, uh, restrictions are set in

00:29:23.100 place. And, and, uh, the, the scripture that's really being posed to me from, uh, the brethren is

00:29:31.580 Romans 13, which the governing body and my governing body is the word of God, which says,

00:29:41.100 do not forsake the assembling of yourself together. Matthew 18, 20 gather together. And I don't have the

00:29:49.460 ability to live stream. The majority of my people that I minister to do not have internet. They count on me

00:29:55.580 on a weekly basis for spiritual guidance, prayer, uh, healing, and, uh, preaching and prophecy.

00:30:04.240 So, uh, where we stand now is we're going to have service Sunday morning. I have people as far as

00:30:11.820 Washington state, Alabama, California, who are coming to my service to stand in solidarity with us.

00:30:18.140 Uh, during the president's address yesterday, when the surgeon general spoke, uh, the Lord quickened me

00:30:25.980 when he spoke of the blood bank shortage. We're also having a blood drive on my premises because our

00:30:32.380 blood banks are, are desperately empty right now. Um, I'm feeding my restaurant owners in my church

00:30:40.740 have closed their doors under the government mandate. They're losing their food right now. They're

00:30:46.260 losing their business. I told them that I would, uh, I would financially support them to feed

00:30:52.280 everybody that comes to my service. And this is, this is what our ministry is in our city.

00:30:59.600 So Reverend, I think, I mean, you are in a really tough situation. Um, and this is not like one of

00:31:06.980 those, you know, this is not one of those rich churches and et cetera, et cetera. You are, you sound,

00:31:13.520 and I don't know anything about your church or anything, but what you've just told me, you sound

00:31:17.160 like you're really trying to help the community and you do have a right to do that. And you have a

00:31:22.260 responsibility to do that. Um, when it comes to the services, go ahead. No, I, I have a God given

00:31:30.280 obligation to, yes, regardless of the laws that are mandated to me by my government.

00:31:38.180 Now, um, are you, are you going to take measures to keep people? Because there are people that just

00:31:45.480 don't think that this is deadly at all. Uh, and are you one of those people?

00:31:53.200 No, sir. I, I, I've assured, uh, uh, I've assured our state officials and national officials,

00:32:01.440 I'll take whatever measures are necessary. Which measures are those? I was informed by

00:32:07.520 medical, medical staff yesterday, stop using hand sanitizer. That makes you more susceptible to

00:32:13.560 this virus. And, and we've got it. We've got a nation that's on a, uh, hand sanitizer craze right

00:32:20.340 now, and that's not helping. It's hurting. So what do I do? There's divers weights and there are false

00:32:27.800 balances in our society right now. There's one against the church and there's one for commerce.

00:32:33.340 And that's what, uh, our argument is. So, so you're, yes. Last, last Sunday, your sermon was a sermon

00:32:47.840 about not giving into fear. What is your sermon about this Sunday? This Sunday, I'm, uh, uh, taking two

00:32:58.340 texts, Luke 21, when men's hearts are failing them for fear. Don't look down. Don't look around.

00:33:06.000 Look up. Let's look to God in these times of peril. Uh, Daniel, the third chapter, I'm going to talk

00:33:14.480 about three stiff-legged boys among a, among a generation of weak need people who bowed and who

00:33:22.280 bent under the tyrannical rule of King Nebuchadnezzar, who said, do not worship any other

00:33:28.340 God, but me. And those three boys stood. I feel that this is, uh, Christianity's finest hour to stand

00:33:37.420 and let's do not lose our freedoms for gathering together. Uh, so that's my sermon is to keep

00:33:45.340 standing and let's do not live in fear. God has not given us a spirit of fear, Glenn,

00:33:51.360 but a power of love and a sound mind. And in an hour where children are home from school,

00:33:57.940 parents have no daycare, their daycares are closed. Parents have lost their jobs.

00:34:03.480 Dental workers in my church are forbidden to go to work. They have no money. The last stable,

00:34:09.380 uh, institution in their life is the church. And, and how long can we keep our doors closed?

00:34:18.040 We refuse to close our doors. Um, Reverend, I have to tell you, I, I, I don't know how this is all

00:34:27.220 going to play out. Uh, you know, and, but, uh, I applaud you for, uh, your conviction. I'm not sure

00:34:35.860 what I would do if I were in your situation, but, uh, I, you know, I'm not the one getting the

00:34:41.400 guidance. That's your calling and your keys. Um, and I, I appreciate the, the fact that you're

00:34:47.780 standing up for your community and you're right. Uh, I just, I, I pray and I wish you great luck,

00:34:55.180 success, and safety for all people that would be coming your way. I don't know what I would do

00:35:00.240 in your situation. Thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you, Glenn.
