Transcript

00:00:00.000 Hey, it's the Friday podcast. Bill O'Reilly is here. We're going to talk a little bit about, you know, not with Bill, because what does Bill know about anything, you know, when it comes to overseas?
00:00:11.520 Iran, we're talking about the incredible things that are happening in Iran. Pat stops by to make fun of me, and Stu's here the whole time.
00:00:20.320 We talk about the sanctuary counties and what's this big movement that's happening in Virginia. And of course, Bill O'Reilly, he goes off on Nancy Pelosi.
00:00:31.920 He tells some interesting things, never told before. He just had dinner with Donald Trump last week.
00:00:37.080 And wait until you hear what he has to say about how Donald Trump is seeing the world right now and what is coming.
00:00:44.040 All that and more on today's podcast.
00:00:50.320 Welcome to the program. It is Friday. We're so glad that you're here. Some were glad more than others. Stu is here. And then there's, of course, Pat. Hello, Pat.
00:01:11.720 Hello, Glenn. How are you? I'm good. Yeah. Are you? I'm good. Yeah. Good. Yeah. Really good.
00:01:18.860 So, you know, I know you like to mock people. No, I do not. Really? No, I do not. Okay. All right.
00:01:26.060 Because I don't enjoy mocking. That would be wrong of me. Right. But you seem like you're in a good mood. I am.
00:01:33.420 And I know you're going to mock Joe Biden. No, I just, well, I'm going to point out some things about Joe. Okay. All right.
00:01:42.260 Maybe seem, I don't know if I can even do it. All right. Go ahead.
00:01:48.860 Now, Joe had a little incident yesterday, as you know, with, uh, with a voter in Iowa and, uh, if you're watching, if you're watching the blaze, uh, you might, uh, you might understand.
00:02:06.600 But anyway, uh, so, uh, so, so Pat, Joe Biden yesterday did one of the most incredible things I've, I've ever seen.
00:02:17.200 I've never seen this before. Right. Quite honestly. And, and this was not to a, not to a conservative.
00:02:22.320 This is to somebody who's considering, I'd vote. He, I think he said later, I will vote for Joe Biden.
00:02:28.460 If he's the guy, cause I'm not going to vote for Donald Trump. So I'll vote for, for Joe Biden, but I'm really considering Elizabeth Warren.
00:02:36.840 Um, yeah, he sounds like a pretty hardcore liberal. Yeah. Right. Um, but here's the exchange between him because how dare you ask Joe a tough question? Look at this.
00:02:46.760 Question how much you'll answer. We all know Trump, uh, has been messing around in the Ukraine over there, holding their foreign aid for, with him to come up, saying that we're in the investigation.
00:03:04.320 We don't want to know about that. And he, he's, uh, a little back of what we've been doing after that.
00:03:11.180 But you, on the other hand, send your son over there, give a job and work for a gas company. He had no experience of gas. He did nothing.
00:03:24.220 Wow.
00:03:24.720 In order to get access to the public, to the president. You're, you're selling access to the president just like you did.
00:03:32.980 Holy cow.
00:03:33.560 You're a damn liar, man. That's not true. No one has ever said that. No one has ever said that.
00:03:38.300 Everybody says that. The state department even said that.
00:03:42.140 By the way, that's why I'm not sedentary. I don't, I get up and let them go. Let them go.
00:03:50.340 Look, the reason I'm running is because I've been around a long time and I know more than most people know.
00:03:55.020 And I can get things done. That's why I'm running. And you want to check my shape on it. Let's do pushups together, man.
00:04:00.260 Let's do, let's run. Let's do whatever you want to do. Let's take another two-tick.
00:04:04.800 Pushups. Woo. Exercise.
00:04:06.340 Five and fat. Good. Yay.
00:04:08.280 No one has said my son has done anything wrong and I did not on any occasion. And no one has ever said it.
00:04:15.780 Not one.
00:04:16.220 I didn't say anything or do anything wrong.
00:04:18.140 You said I set up my son to work in an oil company.
00:04:22.000 Yeah.
00:04:22.160 Isn't that what you said? Get your word straight, Jack.
00:04:25.460 Wow.
00:04:25.900 But I hear under that on MSNBC.
00:04:29.320 You don't hear that on MSNBC.
00:04:30.960 You did not hear that at all, but you heard.
00:04:34.180 Look, okay, I'm not going to get in an argument with you, man.
00:04:36.600 I don't want me to.
00:04:37.940 Well, yeah, you do.
00:04:39.100 But look, fat, look, here's the deal.
00:04:42.160 Look, fat, look.
00:04:42.980 Here's the deal.
00:04:43.720 You look like you don't have your back home.
00:04:47.060 That's unbelievable.
00:04:49.680 This is, okay, stop for a second.
00:04:52.260 This is really, truly unbelievable.
00:04:54.620 It is.
00:04:55.020 He obviously is judging the man on his fatness from the get-go.
00:05:02.120 Yep.
00:05:02.320 Because why would you challenge him to go, let's go run, let's go do push-ups?
00:05:05.960 First of all, he says, I'm not sedentary.
00:05:08.280 With the implication, like you obviously are, because you're a big fat pig.
00:05:11.500 Because there's nothing that set him up to say the sedentary thing.
00:05:13.400 Nothing, no, nothing.
00:05:14.180 There's nothing that set him up to say anything about sedentary.
00:05:17.340 Obviously, you watch a lot of television because you're sedentary.
00:05:20.000 I'm not sedentary like you are.
00:05:22.460 Then he says, I know more than most people.
00:05:25.520 Then he tells him he's more intelligent than he is.
00:05:28.780 Then he says, and he challenges him to the push-ups and to running.
00:05:33.540 Which is out of the blue.
00:05:34.780 Out of the blue.
00:05:35.460 He's not challenging him and saying, you know, if you would have said, you know,
00:05:39.140 and look, you've had strokes.
00:05:41.360 I'm not sure.
00:05:42.400 You're an older gentleman.
00:05:44.340 Then he could have done like Jack Palance.
00:05:47.300 And, you know, remember when Jack Palance came out and he did the push-ups?
00:05:50.260 Yeah, on stage.
00:05:51.080 Right, because it was a sign that he's still virile and young and even though he's 80.
00:05:57.580 That you could understand him saying, hey, well, let's do push-ups.
00:06:01.500 Let's, you know, let's go for a run.
00:06:03.280 Okay, that's totally cool.
00:06:04.920 He didn't challenge that.
00:06:06.600 Not at all.
00:06:07.100 He's only, his first response is, hey, fatty.
00:06:11.760 How about are we doing push-ups?
00:06:13.580 And at the end, he says, look, fat, look.
00:06:16.560 Yeah.
00:06:16.760 Is he going for fatty or fatso?
00:06:18.820 Looks like it, yeah.
00:06:19.600 Fatty, fat, fat.
00:06:20.740 Fatty, fat, fat.
00:06:21.480 Fatty, fat, fat, fat.
00:06:22.560 Fatso, you're fat.
00:06:23.620 Yeah, something like that.
00:06:24.480 Fat head.
00:06:25.140 Fat man.
00:06:26.720 I don't know.
00:06:27.740 Something.
00:06:28.360 What's going on?
00:06:28.840 Hey, fat man.
00:06:29.840 If that was Donald Trump, and I don't think Donald Trump's ever been that rude to vote.
00:06:36.060 Okay, well, yes, he has.
00:06:37.940 Yes, he has.
00:06:39.560 I mean, we have to pull you back into reality.
00:06:43.280 You were drifting outside of the ozone, and then you were starting to get out into outer space.
00:06:49.380 It's very cold and dark.
00:06:50.560 But now I'm flying back like What's-Her-Face did in Star Wars.
00:06:56.540 Remember that?
00:06:57.340 Yeah.
00:06:58.260 Princess Leia?
00:06:58.900 Yeah, Princess Leia did.
00:07:00.220 Oh, that was so bad.
00:07:00.740 Just let her die, man.
00:07:01.780 I know.
00:07:02.160 She did die.
00:07:02.880 That's the worst part.
00:07:03.660 She's actually dead in real life.
00:07:04.900 I know.
00:07:04.920 I know.
00:07:05.680 Just stop it.
00:07:06.400 She had a perfect ending.
00:07:07.620 Anyway, go ahead.
00:07:08.480 Anyway.
00:07:10.080 Because if it were Trump, it would lead every newscast.
00:07:14.680 He would be the worst person ever born today.
00:07:19.600 And he was when he imitated the handicapped person.
00:07:23.920 Remember how that went for him?
00:07:24.980 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:07:25.540 I thought it was horrible.
00:07:27.320 I did, too.
00:07:27.660 New York Times has a whole list of the 598 people Trump has insulted and what they've insulted.
00:07:32.060 Am I on that?
00:07:32.680 Yeah, you are.
00:07:33.080 You want to hear them?
00:07:34.140 No.
00:07:34.880 So, Glenn Beck, his endorsement means nothing.
00:07:37.360 He's crying.
00:07:38.080 He's dumb as a rock.
00:07:39.040 He's failing.
00:07:39.840 He's lost all creditability.
00:07:41.060 He's irrelevant.
00:07:41.680 He's a wacko.
00:07:42.340 He's sad.
00:07:43.120 He's failing, crying, lost soul.
00:07:45.040 I don't need to hear.
00:07:45.840 Very dumb and failing.
00:07:47.080 I don't need to hear.
00:07:47.380 He has zero credibility.
00:07:48.660 I don't need to hear.
00:07:49.220 I don't need to hear.
00:07:49.800 Irrelevant mental basket case.
00:07:52.000 Okay.
00:07:52.480 Viewers and ratings are way down.
00:07:54.240 Wow.
00:07:54.600 The answer is no.
00:07:55.460 Irrelevant, wacky, a real nut job, and always seems to be crying.
00:08:00.460 Thank you.
00:08:01.340 Thank you.
00:08:02.000 Thank you.
00:08:02.320 Thank you.
00:08:02.660 You know what?
00:08:03.080 We bashed the New York Times.
00:08:04.380 Good journalism there at New York Times.
00:08:05.920 Thank you for that.
00:08:07.480 So, is that an excuse for this?
00:08:10.560 No, no.
00:08:11.180 This has been a long.
00:08:12.660 This is one of my favorite pages I've ever bookmarked.
00:08:16.220 But this is something you've been trying to squeeze in, is what you're saying?
00:08:19.500 Just every day.
00:08:20.580 Right.
00:08:21.260 And is that a fat joke?
00:08:24.820 I mean, this is a weird moment, though, from a politician.
00:08:27.680 This is not Donald Trump, who made his career out of insulting people and telling them
00:08:31.140 they're fired, right?
00:08:31.860 This is a guy who is supposed to be a politician.
00:08:36.280 And, Glenn, over and over and over again, you see this, that whenever his son is brought
00:08:42.560 up, almost in any context, he is incredibly defensive.
00:08:47.660 Yeah, incensed.
00:08:48.320 Incensed.
00:08:49.000 All right.
00:08:49.480 May I play devil's advocate here, okay?
00:08:51.760 Yeah.
00:08:52.000 And I am not excusing what he did.
00:08:54.480 I think he's corrupt.
00:08:55.620 I think the whole family is corrupt on this.
00:08:58.040 And it goes way beyond Ukraine.
00:09:00.300 And we have the cable transfer verification of $160 million going to Hunter Biden on something
00:09:13.240 domestic.
00:09:14.140 So I'm not excusing him.
00:09:16.400 Here's what I said to the audience last night when we were talking about the impeachment.
00:09:24.960 What I'm afraid is Joe Biden's son, and I say this with respect and empathy because
00:09:34.300 I've been in, I'm in a family that has depression and has suicide as a, as a given in my family.
00:09:46.740 I've had two suicides in my immediate family.
00:09:49.180 So I get it.
00:09:50.200 Hunter Biden is a very unstable individual, like terribly, very unstable, like one of the most
00:10:00.080 unstable people.
00:10:01.140 I think, I think makes Charlie Sheen look like he could say, dude, get your act together.
00:10:07.300 Okay.
00:10:07.940 It's bad.
00:10:09.080 And so as a dad, I would be defensive as well, you know, leave my son alone because I think
00:10:18.060 Joe Biden is probably in his own head has probably helped his son do these deals because, dude,
00:10:28.320 get your life together.
00:10:29.460 I'll, I'll, I'll help you.
00:10:30.820 Look, you're going to, you know, he's trying to do the right thing.
00:10:34.280 I think for his son by doing all the wrong things for his son.
00:10:40.280 Yeah.
00:10:40.800 I, I, I have some sympathy with that position because I was thinking about this.
00:10:44.620 We've done a lot on Hunter Biden's private life, just talking about it and going through
00:10:49.240 it.
00:10:49.380 It's an incredible, crazy journey.
00:10:51.180 Think for a second, if one of your kids was going through that.
00:10:54.240 Yeah.
00:10:54.600 Right.
00:10:54.860 Like, you've already just, you just lost a, you just lost a son or a brother, a wife.
00:10:59.320 You've lost a, you just lost a son.
00:11:02.520 I mean, it's a crazy, this is a guy who found out apparently from media reports that Hunter
00:11:07.900 was dating his other son's widow.
00:11:10.600 That's how he found out about it.
00:11:12.240 Not from Hunter.
00:11:13.920 So this is like, this has been a total disaster.
00:11:17.100 It's probably consumed his whole life.
00:11:19.580 Surely in his mind, if he ran in 2016, he'd currently be president.
00:11:23.260 All of this is revolving around these situations.
00:11:25.340 And every time someone brings it up, he has the anger of a devastated father.
00:11:31.060 I really think that's part of this.
00:11:32.940 I do too.
00:11:33.640 Or a very defensive politician.
00:11:35.460 Or a very defensive politician.
00:11:36.800 But perhaps he doesn't.
00:11:37.700 I think it could be both.
00:11:38.180 Yeah.
00:11:38.340 And he doesn't react that way about other attack lines.
00:11:40.840 It just seems to be Hunter.
00:11:42.740 And I would say too, like he's, you pointed this out Glenn, he's, in his own mind, he's
00:11:47.620 being a good dad.
00:11:48.640 Like, I think in the same way, Lori Loughlin in her own mind is being a good mom.
00:11:51.980 Yes.
00:11:52.240 Right.
00:11:52.400 She's saying like, I'm doing whatever I can to get my little girl into college.
00:11:54.980 Correct.
00:11:55.400 You know what I mean?
00:11:55.820 And so this is the same thing, I think.
00:11:57.120 And it's worse because you know the trouble your son has had.
00:12:02.760 Yeah.
00:12:03.360 And you're trying to save your son.
00:12:05.920 Right.
00:12:06.180 And so he, that does not excuse 1% of his behavior, but I think it does explain some
00:12:12.800 of it.
00:12:13.080 He, he, he really, he really does seem like his family life has been such a disaster for
00:12:19.940 so long that this stuff really gets to him.
00:12:23.520 You know, they say this about Trump all the time.
00:12:24.860 Like, oh, I mentioned he doesn't make, he doesn't really have $10 billion.
00:12:27.620 You really get under his skin.
00:12:28.740 And they think you could kind of climb under his skin.
00:12:30.780 This is every piece of this Hunter thing gets under his skin.
00:12:34.520 Every piece of, of, of this gets under Biden's skin too.
00:12:37.600 I mean, it goes to the core.
00:12:38.540 You can see what a debate is going to be like between these two guys.
00:12:43.020 Oh my God.
00:12:43.600 I mean, it is going to be.
00:12:45.380 Trump might say Hunter 65 times in the first 10 minutes.
00:12:48.400 It's going to be a Muhammad Ali, Frazier fight.
00:12:50.480 I mean, this is, this is going to be a blood sport between those two.
00:12:55.440 And more and more, it looks like it's going to be the two of them.
00:12:58.660 But after a moment like that, I mean, that's like a campaign sinker in previous election.
00:13:03.860 For a Republican, it would be.
00:13:05.800 Because the media would be all over him.
00:13:07.740 But the media is not even covering this.
00:13:10.220 Where's the fat shaming?
00:13:11.140 Right.
00:13:11.860 Nobody cares about that.
00:13:12.960 I will tell you this.
00:13:13.820 Because it came from Joe Biden.
00:13:14.400 I am very, you know, let me take a quick break and then I'll come back.
00:13:17.240 Because there's one concern about this impeachment that I have that I think is real.
00:13:20.900 And I've never heard anybody talk about it.
00:13:22.800 We'll do that in one minute.
00:13:23.660 We could do that.
00:13:24.180 But I mean, why would we care for a mental basket case like you?
00:13:27.940 I mean, you're dumb as a rock.
00:13:29.120 I keep you employed.
00:13:30.320 You remember that, right?
00:13:31.480 And you always seem to be crying.
00:13:32.000 Always.
00:13:35.020 The best of the Glenn Beck Program.
00:13:37.740 Hey, it's Glenn.
00:13:44.520 And you're listening to the Glenn Beck Program.
00:13:46.500 If you like what you're hearing on this show, make sure you check out Pat Gray Unleashed.
00:13:51.100 It's available wherever you download your favorite podcasts.
00:13:55.080 Mr. Bill O'Reilly.
00:13:56.800 That sick freak.
00:13:58.540 Welcome to the program, Bill.
00:13:59.840 First of all, are you guys intoxicated or what?
00:14:03.020 We're working on it.
00:14:03.680 We are working.
00:14:05.000 Yeah, we are working on it.
00:14:06.620 Yeah, it's nine o'clock.
00:14:07.800 What, at ten after nine central time?
00:14:09.840 What's the matter with you people?
00:14:10.780 Yeah, we never drink before nine.
00:14:12.260 Yeah, yeah.
00:14:13.660 Only alcoholics drink before nine, Bill.
00:14:16.000 I mean, unless they're just going still from the night before.
00:14:20.320 Yeah, then it's okay.
00:14:20.980 Which we were usually doing.
00:14:22.340 But anyway, so Bill.
00:14:24.220 Yo.
00:14:24.780 Did you see the video of Joe Biden just eviscerating this guy in one of his, you know, no malarkey stops?
00:14:34.740 No malarkey tour.
00:14:34.940 Did you see it?
00:14:36.680 What are your thoughts?
00:14:37.720 You know, I don't see it the same way that everybody else sees it because I know that Biden loves his son.
00:14:48.460 And I know that he lost the other son, Beau.
00:14:52.700 Yeah.
00:14:54.280 And his emotions are overriding everything now.
00:14:59.480 Yes.
00:15:00.420 All right.
00:15:00.900 So that's exactly what I said last hour, Bill.
00:15:05.260 Thank you for listening.
00:15:07.180 No, I didn't steal it from you.
00:15:08.700 No, you did.
00:15:09.360 You did.
00:15:09.960 No, I didn't.
00:15:10.720 I didn't hear it.
00:15:11.900 Steal from me.
00:15:12.880 You've stolen twice.
00:15:14.460 But here's the thing on that.
00:15:16.720 I 100% agree with you that Hunter is a child that has been a troubled child for a very, very long time.
00:15:26.860 And as a dad, you know, I think Joe Biden is, in his own mind, thinks he's doing what's right for Hunter in helping him and getting him all of these gigs and everything else.
00:15:42.200 I think he thinks he's helping him when, in my opinion only, I think he's helping destroy him.
00:15:49.100 But if you as a dad have had this troubled kid and you've already lost your wife, then you lost your son, and then you have this son who is always on the edge, I would be extraordinarily protective as well.
00:16:01.940 I don't think it's so much that he's thinking at all.
00:16:06.200 I think he's just reacting.
00:16:08.800 So, you know, he's running for president.
00:16:12.280 Does he really have his heart in it?
00:16:15.600 I don't know.
00:16:16.540 I'm not a mind reader.
00:16:17.480 But he's certainly not campaigning effectively.
00:16:20.580 He's not.
00:16:21.460 And nobody can argue with that.
00:16:23.920 So that's number one.
00:16:25.320 And number two, he's got this kid who, every time he turns around, is embarrassing him and his family.
00:16:33.800 And he doesn't know what to do with the kid.
00:16:36.600 So it's raw.
00:16:38.760 It's like a raw emotion.
00:16:41.100 Yeah.
00:16:41.560 But what does he think?
00:16:42.800 This is the thing.
00:16:43.960 Look, if you're going to put yourself on a bus and zoop around a state and say no malarkey and then take Q&A,
00:16:53.680 what do you think is going to happen?
00:16:56.300 So he should have been prepared for this kind of question.
00:17:01.180 And he will.
00:17:01.480 Well, at least at least from people who are over 90 that understand the term malarkey.
00:17:07.120 Right.
00:17:07.680 I mean, that is that's something that's a brilliant marketing team.
00:17:11.620 Oh, my God.
00:17:12.700 Yeah.
00:17:13.160 We're going to be drinking sarsaparilla.
00:17:15.800 And talking no malarkey.
00:17:17.560 I'll tell you that right now.
00:17:18.400 Let's get a little sarsaparilla over here for Joe.
00:17:20.860 It is crazy.
00:17:22.120 OK, so we but the point is that he's running for president.
00:17:26.980 That's Holly, the terror dog, by the way.
00:17:30.040 He's running for president and he's not prepared for this.
00:17:35.020 See, that's the story.
00:17:36.420 It's not the lashing out at the chubby guy.
00:17:39.600 All right.
00:17:40.400 The chubby guy was doing this on purpose.
00:17:42.520 Chubby guy wanted to embarrass him.
00:17:44.420 Chubby guy can say, oh, I'm a Democrat.
00:17:46.360 I'm going to vote for him anyway.
00:17:47.700 Bull.
00:17:47.940 This is a setup.
00:17:49.900 Chubby guy saw his opportunity, went in.
00:17:52.220 I'm going to I'm going to do this.
00:17:54.000 I'm going to get attention for myself.
00:17:55.700 But what does it say about Joe Biden and his his understanding of just even just the power of being a man when the first thing out of his mouth was, well, you're sedentary and you want to challenge to push ups.
00:18:13.480 I mean, that's like that's what I'm talking about.
00:18:16.560 The guy doesn't have control over the process.
00:18:20.740 He's not rational on a campaign trail.
00:18:24.820 And that's the story.
00:18:26.640 So what's going to happen?
00:18:28.620 What's going to happen?
00:18:29.320 Because, you know, the one way to get under Donald Trump's skin.
00:18:33.420 And I think Bloomberg is probably in the only position to really, really do this of standing on stage with Donald Trump and going, you know, Donald, I mean, you say you're a billionaire, but please.
00:18:46.600 That's never going to happen.
00:18:48.160 So you're you're basically weaving a fantasy.
00:18:51.200 OK, but you know that.
00:18:52.560 Right. But, you know, that's what would get under his skin.
00:18:57.900 No, but Biden would.
00:18:59.560 No, no, no, no, no, no.
00:19:01.120 OK, no, because I know Trump better than anybody.
00:19:05.180 All right.
00:19:06.300 Trump, when he.
00:19:08.240 Well, maybe his children.
00:19:09.440 But I'm telling you, I know the guy really well.
00:19:13.820 And he doesn't care what you say about him.
00:19:18.180 He doesn't care what you say about his kids, about his father, about his mother.
00:19:22.680 He doesn't care.
00:19:24.060 All right.
00:19:24.700 So he's not going to be like Biden.
00:19:26.620 He's not going to he's not going to do that.
00:19:28.680 What he'll do is he'll attack you.
00:19:31.640 And, yes, if the chubby guy did that to Trump, which would never happen because Trump people would never put him on a bus.
00:19:40.680 Never.
00:19:41.800 All right.
00:19:42.460 And he would never go to a diner and take Q&A ever, never.
00:19:49.080 OK, so.
00:19:50.520 But if you got Trump on a stage, a debate stage and you said to him, hey, you're a corrupt guy who's incompetent and blah, blah, blah.
00:20:00.720 Trump doesn't care really what you're saying.
00:20:03.240 He would just go in and eviscerate you personally.
00:20:07.160 All right.
00:20:08.480 And then it would be it would be a mud fight.
00:20:11.320 OK, so how does Trump do that?
00:20:13.320 Let's say that Joe Biden is the candidate.
00:20:15.780 How does Joe Biden, knowing how he reacts and knowing that knowing that Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck have sympathy, not for the dirtiness or anything else, but have sympathy as dads for Joe Biden.
00:20:32.240 And you can say, look, I you know, I I give him some room on this one.
00:20:36.800 I think that's really out of line, but I give him some room.
00:20:39.460 How does Donald Trump even talk about what happened with Hunter Biden and corruption?
00:20:46.340 Trump couldn't care less about Biden and Biden's tragedies.
00:20:51.300 No, I know that.
00:20:52.180 But the American people will know, but he did.
00:20:55.140 But but Trump's not going to calibrate it that way ever.
00:20:58.940 He doesn't calibrate.
00:21:00.020 Gee, if I say this, what are the American people going to think about me?
00:21:03.520 No, I never.
00:21:04.240 He never does that.
00:21:05.280 No, I know.
00:21:06.060 I he's going to go.
00:21:07.320 There are times that people around him should be thinking those things and probably are thinking anybody around.
00:21:13.360 I know.
00:21:14.040 But I'm asking you, what is the end result with the American people?
00:21:19.880 If he just.
00:21:20.480 Oh, I see.
00:21:21.040 You want me to speculate about how they would.
00:21:23.480 You are the worst.
00:21:24.840 You are the worst.
00:21:26.380 How they would react to broad sides against.
00:21:29.400 Well, it's not a hard speculation.
00:21:32.840 Trump's base would enjoy it.
00:21:36.140 All right.
00:21:36.480 So there would be a sitcom for them.
00:21:38.340 They would.
00:21:38.760 They don't care what you say about Hunter Biden or or Biden's family or anything like that.
00:21:45.340 And I'm not saying this in a in a cruel way.
00:21:48.420 It's just that their rationalization is Donald Trump's been attacked so badly.
00:21:53.020 Yes.
00:21:53.580 So often that whatever Donald Trump does is justified.
00:21:58.860 OK, so that's number one.
00:22:00.700 The independents and those people, the women horrified, horrified.
00:22:06.660 The men, you know, the men are voting for.
00:22:14.180 Hey, am I going to keep my job?
00:22:16.760 Am I going to be able to add more to my 401k?
00:22:19.540 Hey, that's the men are voting for.
00:22:20.920 They don't.
00:22:21.600 They're not looking for sensitivity.
00:22:23.460 They're not looking for perspective.
00:22:25.100 They're looking for performance.
00:22:27.400 But women would be, you know, unaligned women, unaligned women, appalled if he goes in and he rips up Joe Biden.
00:22:37.360 And then.
00:22:37.640 Yeah.
00:22:38.380 OK, Mr. Bill O'Reilly.
00:22:41.400 Yes, I'm here.
00:22:42.440 I'm attentive.
00:22:43.320 So let's let's get your take on first.
00:22:47.720 What happened in the impeachment hearings this week with the very non-bias open thinkers?
00:22:56.400 Number one, I was watching reruns of Mayberry RFD on the me channel.
00:23:01.060 Right.
00:23:01.620 OK, so I missed a lot of the live stuff.
00:23:04.080 Right.
00:23:05.080 Because Goober is really he is more in tune to my way of thinking.
00:23:10.600 Yeah.
00:23:10.840 I like just plain old Mayberry, the RFD days, you know, you know, it's kind of when they were stretching.
00:23:17.900 But I get it.
00:23:19.100 I get it.
00:23:20.000 You're right.
00:23:20.420 So I would why would anybody, any human being in this country pay attention to this this week?
00:23:28.380 Why?
00:23:29.280 So you parade in three people that hate Trump.
00:23:34.440 Oh, they loathe him.
00:23:37.020 And they sit there and they just dish bad stuff on him.
00:23:42.140 And then they have one guy kind of doesn't like him, but is actually a thinker and says, you know, I really don't have enough to impeach him or anyone else.
00:23:51.780 So why are we here?
00:23:53.460 And why do I want to watch this?
00:23:55.160 For what?
00:23:55.900 I don't know.
00:23:57.000 I don't learn anything.
00:23:59.220 Do I want to watch corruption in the government on display?
00:24:02.560 I'm pretty much convinced that happens every day now.
00:24:05.480 Don't really need to see it again.
00:24:07.640 So, you know, the cable TV ratings have been pretty good this week.
00:24:11.340 There are people who are interested in this.
00:24:13.860 I don't know why.
00:24:15.020 Maybe you can tell me.
00:24:16.080 I don't know why.
00:24:16.940 No, I have no idea why.
00:24:18.080 I have no idea why.
00:24:19.100 Yeah, because it's not going to lead anywhere.
00:24:22.380 I mean, he's going to get acquitted in the Senate.
00:24:24.720 And by February, this is just a bad memory.
00:24:28.420 So what does this do to our republic?
00:24:31.940 Well, it's bad for the country in a variety of ways because it just polarizes people even more.
00:24:38.400 It was interesting because in the interview I did with President Trump on the radio, did you hear that, Beck?
00:24:45.300 No, I didn't.
00:24:46.320 No, I...
00:24:47.360 But you heard about it.
00:24:48.460 Oh, are you kidding me?
00:24:50.500 That's all we could talk about.
00:24:51.780 So in the interview I did with him, it was quite clear that he, as president, believes he's doing a good job, and he believes that this whole impeachment is going to help him get reelected.
00:25:07.680 That's the Trump view, that I'm going to get reelected, and this impeachment thing's helping me because people see it as crazy land.
00:25:18.780 However, the other side hates him so much that they don't even consider there might be a backlash because they live in a bubble.
00:25:28.980 All right, the Trump haters pretty much associate with the Trump haters.
00:25:35.340 That's it, yeah.
00:25:36.200 Yeah, I mean, they don't go out of that.
00:25:38.860 And then if you don't hate Trump, they don't want to have anything to do with you.
00:25:42.440 They don't want to talk to you.
00:25:43.640 They don't want to give you a ride to the bus station.
00:25:47.040 They don't want any part of you.
00:25:48.520 So what we're becoming is an isolated tribal country, which we have never really been before except for the Civil War.
00:25:58.820 So we're becoming tribes of people who have special interests, political interests, fanaticism here and there.
00:26:06.880 And the media drives that.
00:26:09.180 So the tribe watches MSNBC.
00:26:11.880 The tribe watches Fox News Channel, right?
00:26:14.460 And there's no other – there's no non-tribe people watching.
00:26:19.820 They're all of the same mindset.
00:26:22.820 So instead of e pluribus unum, okay, Stu, tell me what that means.
00:26:28.960 From many one?
00:26:30.540 That's right.
00:26:32.120 It's now – I can't – I don't know the Latin word for tribe, but I'll just say tribum.
00:26:39.860 That's what we are.
00:26:40.980 Tribal Ellis.
00:26:42.080 E tribal Ellis.
00:26:42.960 And interestingly enough, I'm sure you heard that my new killing book is Killing Crazy Horse, the merciless Indian horse in America.
00:26:51.780 Shut up. Is it really?
00:26:52.600 Yeah.
00:26:53.200 Oh, Crazy Horse is one of my – you've got to send this to me.
00:26:56.140 Crazy Horse is one of my favorite characters in American history.
00:27:00.320 Well, you're going to love this book.
00:27:01.460 But anyway, I don't want to plug the book now.
00:27:03.080 There will be plenty of time for plugging the book.
00:27:05.460 But the –
00:27:06.160 Maybe not on this show.
00:27:07.440 Maybe not.
00:27:09.120 Maybe I don't like it.
00:27:10.500 Then you're not getting a free book.
00:27:11.900 Then, in the Native American culture, it was all tribes.
00:27:19.520 All right?
00:27:19.820 So we're going back to the Native American culture.
00:27:23.880 And the tribes didn't have anything in common with the other.
00:27:27.900 So the Apaches in Arizona didn't have anything in common with the Sioux up in North Dakota and Montana.
00:27:35.940 Okay, so this is what we're becoming.
00:27:39.560 And people don't understand it because they don't get any intellectual analysis in the media at all.
00:27:44.940 All they get is rooting.
00:27:46.260 I'm rooting for Trump to be destroyed or I'm rooting for Trump to be president forever.
00:27:51.560 Okay?
00:27:51.980 They don't get – this is what is happening in America.
00:27:55.480 We're dividing ourselves into tribes that hate each other.
00:28:00.580 And that's like what happens in the Balkans.
00:28:03.720 That's like Kosovo and Montenegro.
00:28:06.900 Yeah, except there's no borders here on this one.
00:28:10.060 We're all mixed in with each other.
00:28:12.440 Yes, but we're becoming isolated from each other.
00:28:17.040 Yeah, even though we live next door to each other or we work in the next cubicle for one another.
00:28:21.880 That's right.
00:28:22.440 We don't associate.
00:28:23.700 We don't talk to Emily because Emily likes Trump.
00:28:27.780 Correct.
00:28:28.420 And so this is the destructive nature of what is happening politically in America.
00:28:35.960 And nobody – now they know on the Glenn Beck program what it is.
00:28:39.600 But I'll tell you, I'll submit to you that what I just told you, very few people are aware of.
00:28:44.520 Bill, what is – how does the – tell me the mindset, if you can, of Nancy Pelosi and those in the Democratic Party.
00:28:57.820 How do they think this is going to end?
00:29:01.340 And how do you think it's going to end?
00:29:04.520 Okay.
00:29:05.220 Nancy Pelosi, if you watch her, if you watch her body language, which is really fascinating,
00:29:10.560 and the way she conducts herself when James Rosen asked a very legitimate question yesterday.
00:29:17.000 Oh, my gosh.
00:29:17.580 It was incredible.
00:29:18.700 Do you hate Donald Trump?
00:29:21.300 And she went off the wall.
00:29:23.560 Now, that's a legitimate question, and nobody should have gone off the wall if you ask it.
00:29:28.700 You say, no, I don't.
00:29:30.040 I just believe that he has abused his power and shouldn't be there.
00:29:33.760 That's all.
00:29:34.680 Right.
00:29:34.920 You don't go, how dare you?
00:29:37.360 Yeah.
00:29:37.660 I mean, really.
00:29:38.520 I mean, when she said, don't you ever use that kind of language with me, I mean, that was shocking.
00:29:44.000 Right.
00:29:44.460 Now, there are two things.
00:29:46.300 Nancy Pelosi's not used to being asked anything that goes against her prevailing wisdom because the press is in the tank.
00:29:54.900 So, she was caught by surprise by that question.
00:29:58.720 And the second thing is that Nancy Pelosi is a fanatic.
00:30:02.440 Okay, hang on.
00:30:03.340 We're going to let that sit and simmer for a while, and then we'll come back with more of Mr. Bill O'Reilly from BillOReilly.com.
00:30:15.800 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:30:24.900 Hey, it's Glenn.
00:30:30.380 And if you like what you hear on the program, you should check out Pat Gray Unleashed.
00:30:34.520 His podcast is available wherever you download your favorite podcast.

00:30:49.980 Phil Van Cleave is the president of Virginia Citizens Defense League, and he is joining us now.
00:31:00.120 He believes in the right to keep and bear arms, and Virginia has really turned quite radical, Phil.
00:31:08.280 Has it not?
00:31:08.920 I mean, towards the left.
00:31:10.080 Yeah, Glenn, the last election gave power for the first time in 26 years in all branches, basically, to the Democrats, the House, the Senate in Virginia, and governor, and lieutenant governor and attorney general.
00:31:26.860 So, yeah, it has.
00:31:29.620 And that's largely because a lot of people slept through the election, only 40 percent turnout.
00:31:33.380 And what does this mean for gun owners in Virginia?
00:31:37.420 It used to be a very solid state, and now it's going hardcore left.
00:31:42.280 Well, for one thing, our governor had some problems with a photo coming up of him being in blackface or being in the Ku Klux Klan outfit.
00:31:51.480 We're not sure which it was.
00:31:52.740 It could have been, you know, either one.
00:31:55.540 And to divert attention from that and the fact that he was willing to calmly talk about killing babies that had managed to get born or maybe an abortion didn't work and they actually got born,
00:32:06.780 and then deciding what to do and killing this baby laying on a table, trying to get away from that stuff, he decided to focus on guns.
00:32:14.020 Plus, tons of money came in from Bloomberg, tons, millions and millions and millions came in the state because Bloomberg wants to get gun control going in Virginia big time.
00:32:24.900 He doesn't like Virginia because years ago we passed a law when he tried to trick gun dealers into doing straw sales or illegal sales.
00:32:32.780 Our state put together a new law that said, you come in here and do that again, and we're going to charge you with a felony.
00:32:39.780 He's never forgiven us for that, so he's really out to get guns in Virginia.
00:32:44.720 It's like a fetish with him.
00:32:47.000 Okay, so does it look like the Democrats will actually go the way of Bloomberg and start taking away guns,
00:32:59.040 or is it just a preparation step to start really looking into sanctuary cities?
00:33:08.300 Well, it's really, yeah, they decided to come on board full blast with all kinds of gun control.
00:33:15.840 We would end up being worse than New York or New Jersey or California.
00:33:19.520 Wow.
00:33:20.100 Just all kinds.
00:33:20.800 Oh, yes.
00:33:21.460 They put that all in.
00:33:22.520 But what happened was then he woke a sleeping giant.
00:33:26.400 All the gun owners that have been sleeping for years all of a sudden woke up and, oh, you should see the rallies we're having.
00:33:33.300 And boards of supervisors, all of cities, they're all saying we've never seen ever this many people here for any other thing.
00:33:42.300 So, Philip, explain to the people, because there's sanctuary cities usually are, we're not going to enforce this law.
00:33:52.000 Well, what you're saying is you're going to enforce the Constitution.
00:33:56.720 No matter what you pass, the Constitution says this.
00:34:00.640 So it's really not radical.
00:34:03.960 I mean, in today's world it is, but it's not a radical idea.
00:34:08.320 No, we are simply protecting a constitutional, constitutionally protected right.
00:34:13.660 We're simply saying, yeah, this right is protected, period.
00:34:17.220 And you can pass what you want, but if it violates the Constitution, then too bad.
00:34:23.060 And we have sheriffs saying, yeah, they're not going to enforce this stuff.
00:34:25.960 Because these laws that they're putting in don't affect people like me and you, people that aren't criminals, that have perfect records and all.
00:34:34.500 These are going after – it's going after you and me, not people that are criminals.
00:34:40.880 And so we're having – you and I are having the ones in Virginia that would have to do stuff, sell guns or turn them in or not be able to have this or that.
00:34:49.560 So we had a question yesterday come on the show, and it's my understanding, and this – I would love your help on this.
00:35:01.400 It's my understanding that the sheriffs are the only law enforcement that answer directly to the people.
00:35:09.780 They don't answer to the governor.
00:35:11.040 They don't answer to the mayor or anybody else.
00:35:13.440 They are county sheriffs that are elected by the people.
00:35:17.340 And so they are a force that is on their own.
00:35:23.740 They're kind of the last line of defense for the Constitution.
00:35:27.660 Is that true?
00:35:29.540 Yes, that is true.
00:35:30.320 Texas, I think, also has elected sheriffs when I was a deputy in Baird County.
00:35:34.340 Yeah.
00:35:34.560 But also our prosecutor, our commonwealth attorney, the state prosecutor, is in an elected position, so they, too, answer to the people.
00:35:44.440 So we also have prosecutors saying, yeah, I'm not going to prosecute this stuff.
00:35:49.940 What does that do?
00:35:52.080 I mean, what does the left do?
00:35:55.160 Because I can't imagine in America coming for guns.
00:35:59.860 It just won't.
00:36:02.540 They're already trying to backpedal on this stuff.
00:36:05.580 They've watched.
00:36:06.500 They're actually very concerned.
00:36:08.740 They're watching this whole – they're seeing an uprise is what they're seeing of people going to all these meetings.
00:36:13.520 We have 43 counties now that are saying we're sanctuary.
00:36:17.200 Out of how many counties?
00:36:18.700 Out of how many counties?
00:36:19.720 Out of 95.
00:36:20.900 Holy cow.
00:36:22.660 So we're approaching the halfway mark.
00:36:25.180 And that's – we've only been doing this since a little after the election in November.
00:36:30.660 So this is – and there's going to be a vast number of them coming up to consider this on Monday and Tuesday.
00:36:36.620 We're also planning to have a lobby day rally on January 20th at 8 a.m. at the Capitol.
00:36:43.880 The rally actually starts at 11, but lobby day starts at 8.
00:36:46.900 We expect – we don't know how many people we're going to have, but we can usually turn out 1,000, 800 to 1,000.
00:36:52.640 And I think this is going to be an absolutely eye-popping thing.
00:36:57.660 My wife has kind of pointed out she thinks that what's actually going on in Virginia will end up being historical, and I think it will.
00:37:03.360 I think it will, too.
00:37:04.000 I've never seen anything like this.
00:37:05.360 Well, I think that the people rising up against things that are unconstitutional is what our founders told us to do.
00:37:14.820 It's why we have the First and Second Amendment, and when the people rise up locally, I think it will have an impact.
00:37:24.640 I mean – but how many of you – you're really kind of run by Fairfax County, are you not now?
00:37:30.720 Well, there's a few areas.
00:37:32.200 Yeah, that's the problem.
00:37:33.100 We don't have an electoral college in Virginia, so the vast majority of the state's red, but it's being dragged around by a few blue areas.
00:37:40.240 And so if people don't know the region, Fairfax County is basically the suburb of Washington, D.C.
00:37:47.360 Yeah, it is, and it's very blue, and the rest of the state is pretty much red with a little splotch of blue here and there, not much, and they're just dragging us around.
00:37:57.120 And the rest of the state is basically standing up saying, enough of this.
00:38:00.680 You know, you're not coming after our rights.
00:38:02.340 The very guns that they want to ban are exactly what our founding fathers would expect us to have.
00:38:07.680 By the way, one sheriff here in Virginia said if they were to pass a gun ban, he will deputize every gun owner in the county to make them law enforcement so they can keep their guns.
00:38:17.700 How's that for some guns?
00:38:18.860 Wow.
00:38:20.160 Wow.
00:38:21.320 And he can do that too, can't he?
00:38:23.640 Yes, he can.
00:38:25.520 That's amazing.
00:38:26.960 Yeah, our attorney general – oh, it's wonderful.
00:38:29.340 One of the Democrat delegates asked our attorney general, hey, what about these sanctuary cities?
00:38:35.060 These have no meaning, right?
00:38:36.680 And I was just dying to see his response because he supported sanctuaries for illegal aliens.
00:38:44.420 So how is he going to answer this?
00:38:46.160 They either are or they are not something.
00:38:51.560 So it kind of put him between a rock and a hard place.
00:38:55.040 So, Philip, are you hearing from other states in the union and other parts of the country that are looking at you as a test model?
00:39:06.880 Oh, yes, absolutely, because they know if Virginia falls, then they're next.
00:39:12.440 I mean, there's nowhere to run.
00:39:13.660 We're pointing out to our members, there's nowhere to run.
00:39:16.740 You can go to Kentucky, you can go to North Carolina, you can go to Texas.
00:39:19.940 It's all coming.
00:39:21.260 You have to stand up and fight where you are.
00:39:23.540 This country, you cannot run.
00:39:25.240 We're here to fight.
00:39:26.200 People died in ditches to be where you and I are.
00:39:29.300 We can certainly stand and fight these stupid politicians.
00:39:31.920 Yeah.
00:39:32.360 Philip, thank you so much, and I wish you the best.
00:39:36.200 And my sincere hope that everything remains sane and nobody stupid gets involved and does things on either side.
00:39:52.680 Because I think people have had enough of being pushed around and the Constitution being just shoved into a corner or outright ignored.
00:40:05.380 And peaceful movements like this, where you stand your ground, are going to be the things that change the course of the country.
00:40:13.480 Thank you so much, Philip.
00:40:14.220 I believe it is.
00:40:14.680 Thank you very much.
00:40:15.500 You bet.
00:40:15.800 If you want to find out more, you can go to VCDL, VCDL.org.
00:40:25.620 That's Virginia Citizens Defense League, VCDL, and find out more on this.
00:40:33.420 I have said this many, many times for many years.
00:40:37.280 Know who your sheriff is.
00:40:39.640 Get to know your sheriff.
00:40:42.740 Your sheriff is the last line of defense when it comes to guns.
00:40:49.280 They report directly to you.
00:40:54.400 There's no governor or mayor or anybody else in line.
00:40:58.220 When you have your police department, they are doing the bidding of the commissioner and the mayor and everyone else.
00:41:06.240 This is a standalone organization, and it was for a reason.
00:41:12.260 And so know who your county sheriff is and make sure that they are for the first and second amendment.
00:41:20.520 What the hell?
00:41:21.960 They're for all of the amendments to the Constitution.
00:41:25.560 The Blaze Radio Network.
00:41:30.060 On demand.
