The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ Guests： Donald J. Trump & Rep. Chris Stewart ｜ 1⧸28⧸22

00:00:00.000 Wow. Great episode today.

00:00:02.640 We talked to you a little bit right off the bat about your economy and what is coming.

00:00:06.380 We also wanted to share with you the interview that we did with the guy who's really the spokesperson for all of the trucks.

00:00:16.840 The big rally in, is it Ottawa? I forget. It's one of those Canadian cities.

00:00:21.460 Big, huge rally against the government being so oppressive.

00:00:26.940 That doesn't happen in Canada.

00:00:28.360 Also, President Trump, a live interview that happens with him about the Ukraine.

00:00:35.160 Chris Stewart joins us to talk about that and how we are committing national suicide.

00:00:40.660 And finally, the new Surgeon General of Florida on the FDA, all on today's podcast.

00:00:47.680 Kind of a big show. Yeah, kind of.

00:01:02.480 All your favorites from the Blaze.

00:01:04.120 Here's the podcast.

00:01:04.700 We have so much to talk about. I want to make sure that you understand.

00:01:22.740 Listen, we have verified from the Fed through FOIA $30 trillion that they gave to the banks.

00:01:30.340 $30 trillion.

00:01:32.560 The $95 trillion that we talked about is speculation, taking them at their word.

00:01:38.200 They said they were giving the banks of the world and lending them $1 trillion a week.

00:01:43.880 We don't know anything about it because they can keep it secret.

00:01:49.060 Just taking it that it's been 95 weeks.

00:01:51.780 Have they done it again?

00:01:53.220 I don't know.

00:01:54.980 This is ugly.

00:01:56.700 Let me show you what is going on now in Canada.

00:02:00.560 In Canada.

00:02:01.900 And Canadians just don't do this.

00:02:04.700 They just don't rise up.

00:02:07.640 They're kind of like, I don't know, it's cold outside.

00:02:09.760 Do we have to march and protest?

00:02:11.520 You know, I grew up on the border of Canada, and they're very calm and peaceful people and everything else.

00:02:18.600 And they don't get riled up real easily.

00:02:21.940 Well, they're riled up.

00:02:23.400 And there's a trucker convoy now to Ottawa.

00:02:27.040 It's a freedom convoy 2022.

00:02:30.620 It's supposed to be in Ottawa.

00:02:32.700 I think they're there now.

00:02:34.280 And today and tomorrow, they're saying there are maybe as many as 500,000 people showing up in Ottawa

00:02:39.540 to protest the mask mandates.

00:02:43.640 This is massive, massive.

00:02:48.440 BJ Dichter is on the phone.

00:02:50.420 He's a spokesperson from the Canadian Trucker Freedom Convoy.

00:02:53.880 BJ, how are you, sir?

00:02:55.580 Good to talk to you, my friend.

00:02:56.880 How are you?

00:02:57.840 Well, good.

00:02:58.900 I wish you guys didn't have to do this, but I'm glad you are standing up.

00:03:01.980 Tell me about the convoy and what you're protesting specifically, and how many people do you think are really going to show up?

00:03:10.500 Well, basically, there's two general areas that we're most concerned with.

00:03:15.100 One is the authoritarian mandates, the lack of freedom of choice.

00:03:21.360 And the other is this app, which I discussed last night in Tucker Carlson.

00:03:25.780 And I explained that the other night when I was coming across the border for the first time using a COVID app on my phone, okay?

00:03:35.480 I drive up to the border gate, and I hold my phone to show the QR code to the border agent.

00:03:42.520 And you know what he says?

00:03:43.960 He says, oh, it's okay.

00:03:44.980 I don't need to see it.

00:03:46.240 I said, why?

00:03:47.020 Isn't there the regular?

00:03:47.680 He said, no, no, no, you already popped up on my computer.

00:03:51.580 So as soon as you drive in a certain vicinity of my booth, I can see your passport and all of your documentation before you even come here.

00:04:01.080 Oh, my gosh.

00:04:01.760 And I thought, yeah, when do we start expanding that technology across the entire country?

00:04:07.980 There's your basis for social credit and tracking absolutely everybody, which is what we've been saying about this the entire time, and nobody's been listening to us.

00:04:17.680 Okay, it's just everything is happening.

00:04:21.980 You know, John Kerry was meeting about the Great Reset, and they asked, you know, is this going to happen?

00:04:27.840 And he said, this is going to happen at a greater speed and intensity than anyone can imagine.

00:04:32.280 And it is.

00:04:33.300 All of these things are coming together at such speed and intensity.

00:04:37.680 It is crazy.

00:04:39.440 Meanwhile, you guys are being called racist in all kinds of names.

00:04:44.100 Yeah, listen, we're not afraid of open and free speech and dialogue.

00:04:50.620 You get in a truck and listen to the TV, there's some colorful language, not nearly as colorful as the language of some of these liberal kids who are playing Xbox and Call of Duty.

00:05:03.380 But we're not afraid of colorful language because, you know what, that's the pressure valve.

00:05:09.960 That's why we need freedom of speech.

00:05:12.920 We don't get along.

00:05:14.180 We don't agree on certain things.

00:05:15.840 Great.

00:05:16.200 We'll yell at each other.

00:05:17.240 And you know what?

00:05:17.680 We'll calm down five minutes later and we'll all be one unified nation.

00:05:22.000 And that's the core fundamental problem of this.

00:05:24.940 You know, we all see that the basic philosophy underlying this entire problem that all the truckers are angry and fighting about is we don't want the government to protect us.

00:05:38.080 We want the government to protect our rights.

00:05:41.400 And they've been negligent in that.

00:05:43.180 And they are violating the Charter of Freedom of Rights and the spirit of the Charter of Freedom of Rights to do all this for the Great Reset, for, you know, this authoritarian, AI, modern, communist, this philosophy, which is completely crazy.

00:06:00.840 So tell me how many trucks are going to show up?

00:06:04.320 What kind of crowd are you expecting?

00:06:06.600 And when does this really hit?

00:06:08.900 When does this all culminate?

00:06:10.260 Today or tomorrow?

00:06:11.100 It's going to start trickling into night over the next couple of days because there are so many trucks.

00:06:20.780 I went to a quick delivery into the United States, like I mentioned, early in the week.

00:06:26.000 I left on Tuesday and came back late Tuesday night.

00:06:28.940 I have never seen so few trucks on the road in my life.

00:06:34.520 It was a ghost town everywhere.

00:06:36.280 But there were a lot of trucks going under underpasses with crowds of people in every province of the country.

00:06:44.440 Think about that.

00:06:45.660 Imagine in the United States that somebody is driving down, a convoy is driving down, I don't know, I-95 from New York to Florida.

00:06:53.840 And at every overpass, there's a crowd of a couple of hundred people holding up signs, you know, we love you, we support you, freedom.

00:07:04.880 And that's really the essence of this.

00:07:06.920 It's more than just truckers.

00:07:08.600 Everybody is fed up.

00:07:10.300 I was a candidate for the Conservative Party several years ago.

00:07:14.780 We no longer have a Conservative Party.

00:07:18.100 We have a uniparty.

00:07:19.860 Well, now the truckers have become the official opposition.

00:07:23.800 And this is the outlet that people are using to speak.

00:07:27.140 That's why there's almost $7 million in donations there in a week.

00:07:31.180 It's not about the money.

00:07:32.440 It's they don't have a place to park their vote because they don't have a voice in our system anymore. 0.91

00:07:38.940 It's a little terrifying what's happening, isn't it, BJ?

00:07:42.780 You know, I mentioned last night, I spent a lot of time living in Latin America and traveling through Latin America.

00:07:50.280 Not only in some of the most dangerous countries there.

00:07:52.560 Not only have I seen areas like Alberta, which is our Texas, settled by Texans, turned into the most prosperous economic center of the country, where now it looks like a third world country.

00:08:08.540 It's terrifying what's going on.

00:08:10.960 And it's not stopping.

00:08:12.140 And the underlying, you know, postmodernist philosophy that these people hold, these worlds, and they don't understand it, that you try to talk to them about their philosophy and point out the flaws.

00:08:25.760 And like Yuri Bezmanov said, you're stuck with them.

00:08:28.500 You can show them that white is white, black is black, and they just don't understand. 0.97

00:08:33.900 It's really scary.

00:08:35.920 Let me, I want to play something here.

00:08:38.100 Do we have the audio from the World Economic Forum?

00:08:43.500 This is, this has happened, I think, last week or early this week.

00:08:47.620 This is the World Economic Forum in Davos talking to all of the elites about the elites.

00:08:55.460 And I want you to listen to what they said.

00:08:58.100 Here it is.

00:08:58.800 At Davos a few years ago, you know, the Edelman survey showed us that the good news is the elite across the world,

00:09:08.100 trust each other more and more, so we can come together and design and do beautiful things together.

00:09:14.360 The bad news is that in every single country they were polling, the majority of people trusted that elite less.

00:09:23.800 Uh, yeah.

00:09:26.260 But listen to them.

00:09:28.420 But we can gather together and we can make decisions.

00:09:33.180 They're cutting us out of all of these decisions.

00:09:36.420 They're not made by the people of the world anymore. 0.77

00:09:39.460 They're made all by the elites.

00:09:42.000 And the arrogance, I think, is just going to cause, I mean, it could cause mass starvation around the world alone,

00:09:50.820 let alone upheaval like we've never seen before.

00:09:54.180 I think also one of the problems we do is we always cede ground to them.

00:10:01.280 We allow them to be defined by terms that have positive connotations.

00:10:07.360 Elite is a term with positive connotations.

00:10:10.440 I'm sorry, they're not the global elite.

00:10:12.620 This may sound harsh, but they're global scavengers going across the country, 0.78

00:10:17.400 taking up all of our resources and putting the rest of us into serfdom. 0.80

00:10:23.040 And to show the depth of penetration that they have, we have, there's an MP that I used to be friendly with

00:10:30.320 that we had a good relationship named Michelle Rempel.

00:10:33.440 And Michelle was on our side.

00:10:35.320 She's a good, good representative.

00:10:37.180 She's a fighter, fighter from Western, from Alberta. 0.90

00:10:40.340 Great.

00:10:40.620 Then she went to Davos one year, and she was listed on the junior world leaders of the World Economic Forum.

00:10:50.740 And she came back, and shortly after, a couple months later, she started putting out posts on her Twitter profile

00:10:57.520 apologizing that she was a cisgendered white female out of nowhere.

00:11:05.740 And that is completely out of character for who she is.

00:11:11.180 That's what we're dealing with.

00:11:12.460 We're dealing with politicians that, unfortunately, they're just going for the easy money,

00:11:18.260 and they think there's not going to be any conflict that way.

00:11:21.880 Well, let me ask you this, because it's not just the politicians.

00:11:26.080 They are using, I mean, we know they've always used media.

00:11:30.180 I mean, jeez, the regulations of media, the CBC and everything else in Canada is crazy.

00:11:36.880 But you guys, are you getting your message out, and how is that happening?

00:11:41.600 Because everything is being censored, all of YouTube, everything else.

00:11:47.420 How is this word getting out?

00:11:50.380 Well, my little strategy that I've been using this entire time was to avoid any central points

00:11:56.620 of messaging on any of the platforms.

00:11:59.940 So if we had made a Freedom Convoy, I don't know, Twitter account or whatever it was, right?

00:12:05.160 It would be banned.

00:12:06.280 It would be for whatever reason.

00:12:08.480 But I do know there's a hashtag system, and we can coalesce around the hashtag system,

00:12:14.320 make it variable, and change it up frequently, and have the leaders and primary accounts

00:12:20.340 share this information abroad.

00:12:23.420 And that's how we've been subverting all the censorship.

00:12:27.280 So this is what it would look like if we were able to speak openly and not be censored.

00:12:33.360 This is what you would get.

00:12:34.720 And you would have gotten this last year.

00:12:36.340 This is why they keep trying to censor everybody.

00:12:39.700 And you know what, Glenn?

00:12:40.560 I don't want the left to be censored either.

00:12:43.120 I don't either.

00:12:43.460 I want to hear what they say.

00:12:45.140 So when I disagree with them, we can at least engage in dialogue.

00:12:49.900 So, BJ, last question.

00:12:52.460 Yeah.

00:12:53.700 With everything that's going on, do you think the crowd is going to be as big as you hope?

00:12:59.540 Or are people afraid?

00:13:02.720 They're hoping somebody else will stand up for them.

00:13:05.900 And so it'll be you guys out there.

00:13:08.480 You know, that's normally the nature of not just Canadians, but human beings.

00:13:12.800 They always want a leader to stand up and do the fighting for them.

00:13:16.820 And I don't blame them.

00:13:17.580 You know, they've got kids, responsibilities, whatever.

00:13:20.140 But it seems to be the global political class has crossed the line.

00:13:26.400 And they made one very big mistake.

00:13:28.600 They wanted Justin Trudeau to be a global brand.

00:13:32.840 Well, they got their wish.

00:13:34.780 And now the convoy to Canberra in Australia is starting up.

00:13:39.180 There's a convoy in Europe starting up.

00:13:41.920 So this doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon.

00:13:45.200 The only thing that I hope you and others can help communicate to your listeners and people who are on the road listening to this is this is peaceful.

00:13:54.980 Do not take the bait from the agitators on the radical left.

00:14:00.780 They will show up.

00:14:02.140 They will throw things at your truck. 0.82

00:14:04.220 They will call you racist.

00:14:05.800 They will try to get people going into buildings.

00:14:08.480 We're doing none of that.

00:14:09.880 We're going to have a daily intelligence slash safety briefing from an intelligence analyst who works with us.

00:14:15.920 You can follow the Quiggin Report podcast Twitter for those updates.

00:14:20.060 We're going to work with police, inform them everything that's going on.

00:14:23.940 Keep every because we saw what happened in January 6th.

00:14:28.180 And that's what they're praying for here.

00:14:30.380 They want somebody to lose their temper.

00:14:32.460 So that can be the scapegoat for them.

00:14:34.440 And we're not going to give it to them.

00:14:36.220 I pray for you and all that are involved.

00:14:39.360 What you're doing, BJ, is incredibly important.

00:14:43.400 And hopefully it will inspire millions more all around the world to stand up because we are truly on the verge of losing our rights that make us human.

00:14:56.060 BJ, God bless you.

00:14:58.100 Thank you, Mike.

00:15:00.040 That's Canadian trucker Freedom Convoy spokesperson BJ Dictor on the convoy that is in Ottawa.

00:15:08.020 And it happens this weekend.

00:15:14.620 This is the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:15:28.060 Mr. President.

00:15:29.580 Hi, Glenn.

00:15:30.340 How are you, sir?

00:15:31.100 Thank you so much for joining us.

00:15:32.460 I'm good.

00:15:32.960 Good.

00:15:33.280 Well, thank you.

00:15:34.860 So are we going?

00:15:37.780 Is Russia going into Ukraine?

00:15:40.780 And what does it mean for us?

00:15:44.320 Well, I think, first of all, I know how you feel about it.

00:15:47.320 But first of all, this is something that never would have happened.

00:15:52.540 This is not even a possibility.

00:15:54.160 What's going on now?

00:15:55.340 Well, this is a total lack of respect for him and for our country.

00:16:01.940 And it's a disaster.

00:16:03.440 Now, whether they go in or not, maybe Putin doesn't even know, because I really think

00:16:09.580 he wasn't going to go in.

00:16:11.180 But after watching a couple of those press conferences and the statements that he's going

00:16:15.520 in like routinely, I think he figures, well, nobody's going to stop him.

00:16:20.660 As I've been saying, NATO is a paper tiger because it's going to break up every time it

00:16:26.300 has a challenge.

00:16:27.220 It really never had a challenge until this.

00:16:30.400 And you see Germany breaking up and others breaking up.

00:16:33.340 They don't want to fight.

00:16:34.880 And all that money is spent on NATO from the United States.

00:16:39.060 Before I got there, Glenn, they were, in my opinion, United States was paying 100 percent

00:16:43.980 the cost of NATO.

00:16:45.440 They were all delinquent.

00:16:46.660 Other than eight countries, they were delinquent.

00:16:49.320 They weren't paying or they weren't paying anywhere near what they were supposed to be

00:16:53.000 paying by agreement.

00:16:54.440 So NATO is looking like it's seen better days.

00:17:00.080 And it's just I think maybe Putin was just trying to negotiate and he's a good negotiator

00:17:07.420 and he's dealing with people that don't have a clue.

00:17:11.200 And I think what's happened is they've just said, you know, go in.

00:17:14.440 We're not going to do anything.

00:17:15.240 We're going to put we're going to put sanctions on.

00:17:17.860 We're going to sanction you.

00:17:19.560 And I think to take over a country for sanctions maybe isn't such a bad deal for him.

00:17:24.020 So yesterday, CNN was reporting that the president, Biden, called the leader of Ukraine and it

00:17:36.540 didn't go well, according to Ukrainian officials.

00:17:39.720 And apparently Biden said that Kiev would be sacked is, I think, the quote that they used.

00:17:49.160 But now the Biden administration is saying that's not true.

00:17:52.920 It went great.

00:17:54.200 We had a wonderful conversation and we never said any of those things.

00:17:58.420 Who do we believe here?

00:18:01.020 Yeah, well, they also added that.

00:18:03.300 But we might have said it, but they shouldn't have leaked it. 0.99

00:18:06.660 You know, it's a bunch of clowns. 0.99

00:18:11.300 It's very sad for our country. 0.99

00:18:13.000 You know, it all started as bad as the border is, and it's the worst in history, including

00:18:18.580 drugs coming in.

00:18:20.120 But as bad as the border is, it really started with the horrible and incompetent way they

00:18:25.600 got out of Afghanistan.

00:18:27.200 We could have gotten out with dignity and strength.

00:18:29.060 We were set to do that.

00:18:30.660 I got it down to 2000 soldiers from, as you know, many times that number.

00:18:36.120 And we were set to do it.

00:18:37.760 And you take the military out last, not first.

00:18:40.100 They took the military out first and then they left the $85 billion and we lost 13 people.

00:18:46.960 But, you know, not only do we lose 13, we had many people really badly hurt and nobody

00:18:52.040 ever talks about them.

00:18:53.380 But the way we got out of Afghanistan, I think that's when all this stuff happened. 0.99

00:18:57.780 If you look, President Xi of China was watching.

00:19:01.000 Putin was watching.

00:19:02.000 Kim Jong-un was watching.

00:19:03.940 And we became overnight a whole different country in terms of levels of respect.

00:19:10.200 I think it was the most embarrassing day or week that this country has ever had. 0.65

00:19:15.440 Just grossly incompetent.

00:19:17.560 So let me ask you this, because I agree incompetence plays a role. 0.74

00:19:22.140 But also, I mean, it's really hard not to say, you know, your batting average is so bad.

00:19:30.540 I don't know if you're really on the team when it comes to Ukraine.

00:19:34.440 How much does Joe and Hunter Biden's, you know, workings over in Ukraine complicate the matter?

00:19:42.160 Well, a lot of people, I noticed this morning, a lot of people were saying that because of

00:19:48.220 Hunter Biden getting all of that money from Burisma, I guess you could say $164,000 a month

00:19:54.660 or $83,000 a month, different numbers.

00:19:57.580 But in any event, a lot, $3 million up front because of his great knowledge of energy, when

00:20:03.660 in fact, he has no knowledge.

00:20:05.080 If he had no knowledge of energy.

00:20:06.540 Well, he has.

00:20:07.200 It was a bribe.

00:20:07.980 It was a payoff.

00:20:08.540 I think it makes it I think it makes it very difficult for them to do what they think

00:20:15.440 they should do.

00:20:16.320 But you have that problem with Russia, too, because the mayor of Moscow's wife gave him 0.67

00:20:22.940 three and a half million dollars.

00:20:24.980 What was that all about?

00:20:26.080 That's a lot of money.

00:20:27.600 What was that all about?

00:20:28.680 And of course, you have it in China where they gave him a billion five to manage where

00:20:33.460 he'll take in hundreds of thousands of dollars a year for himself.

00:20:37.980 So he's conflicted at every level, whether no matter what country you go to, the whole

00:20:44.260 thing is a disgrace.

00:20:46.880 The the news today, again, back to Ukraine, is that Putin has put significant trauma teams

00:20:57.840 with the troops.

00:20:59.700 That's not just positioning.

00:21:01.500 You don't you don't you don't normally do that.

00:21:03.840 But should we be involved in this?

00:21:07.460 Should we at least be arming them?

00:21:09.900 What should we do?

00:21:10.900 Well, Europe should be totally involved.

00:21:17.180 When Germany made the pipeline deal, I sent a white flag to Angela, who I got along with 0.94

00:21:22.860 actually very well.

00:21:24.780 Different side of the plate.

00:21:26.820 But that's OK.

00:21:27.740 She was she was she had views that were a lot different than mine in many cases.

00:21:33.580 But I sent the white flag of surrender because Germany made a deal with Russia, with the 0.88

00:21:41.880 pipeline and Nord Stream is a disaster.

00:21:45.320 And I'm the one that brought that outland.

00:21:46.700 Nobody even knew about it.

00:21:47.900 I used to talk about it all the time.

00:21:49.860 Then they say, oh, he's weak in Russia.

00:21:52.100 Putin would say, you're killing me with this pipeline.

00:21:54.740 But I got it stopped and it was stopped.

00:21:57.260 It was stopped cold.

00:21:58.180 But I told Angela, I said, you're tying your whole country into Russia because once you're 0.96

00:22:02.300 going to get energy and don't listen to them when they say 20 percent, it's 72 percent or

00:22:07.440 more of their energy is going to come out of Russia. 0.72

00:22:10.240 That means that Russia controls that Russia owns Germany in one of the dumbest moves I've 0.77

00:22:16.520 ever seen where they're getting their energy, a large portion. 0.51

00:22:20.880 And it's remember, it's over 70 percent.

00:22:23.220 They're trying to say it's 30 and 40 percent.

00:22:25.280 And even if that is too much, but it's over 70 percent, they closed their plants, they

00:22:30.800 closed their nuclear plants and other plants.

00:22:33.640 They got rid of coal, which was, you know, seeming at greatness because, frankly, the

00:22:39.920 coal was, you know, they had great ability right now.

00:22:43.700 They're having brownouts and every other thing, but they're getting their energy from

00:22:47.880 Russia.

00:22:48.320 So Russia has total control over Germany and Germany saying, oh, well, we don't want to 0.91

00:22:52.080 fight them.

00:22:52.600 They can't fight them because of what's happening with the energy.

00:22:56.320 So it's very interesting to see.

00:22:58.720 But I would really say it is a European problem. 0.73

00:23:02.040 Don't forget, we've been paying for NATO.

00:23:04.460 We've been paying for really 100 percent until I got involved.

00:23:08.980 The numbers went down, down, down, like on a roller coaster downward.

00:23:12.460 And I got involved and I after my first meeting, I said, you know, you guys aren't paying your

00:23:18.860 bills.

00:23:20.320 And I was very strong on it.

00:23:22.200 Obama would make a speech and leave and other people would make speeches, Bush and leave.

00:23:27.860 They wouldn't say anything about it.

00:23:29.240 I said, you're not paying your bills.

00:23:30.560 And I asked about it, Sultenberg, who actually was my biggest fan because he couldn't believe

00:23:35.860 what I did.

00:23:36.860 And we had a meeting, 28 countries.

00:23:38.880 We had a meeting and I said, you've got to pay your bills.

00:23:41.680 And one of the presidents stood up and said, does that mean you wouldn't defend us if we

00:23:47.120 haven't paid our bills?

00:23:48.200 I said, that's what it means.

00:23:49.880 Because if you don't, which almost didn't get reported.

00:23:52.640 But the bottom line is the next day, the money started flowing in.

00:23:56.320 So they paid the money, but they don't have the heart to work together.

00:24:02.420 And if you're not going to work together, but this is a big problem.

00:24:06.080 It's really not a problem for the United States.

00:24:09.240 The only thing is we look so bad.

00:24:10.920 We look so weak. 1.00

00:24:12.020 We look so stupid after Afghanistan. 1.00

00:24:15.240 Well, the messages that China and all of our enemies are receiving for this are quite 1.00

00:24:22.800 remarkable.

00:24:23.500 When you were, we're obviously talking to number 45 and probably number 47.

00:24:28.740 When you were in office, you said sanctions on Russia 16 times.

00:24:34.180 You had the Nord Stream 2 pipeline sanction indictments on Russia, five times military action

00:24:40.740 with a counterattack in Syria.

00:24:43.360 Lethal weapons were provided to Ukraine, which hadn't been done.

00:24:47.700 10 million in funding to the Navy.

00:24:49.360 You kicked 60 Russian intelligence operations out of the United States.

00:24:54.680 You withdrew from the INF treaty.

00:24:57.160 You were really tough on Russia.

00:24:59.400 But the thing I think that made the biggest impact, and I'm wondering what role this played

00:25:05.240 with the reversal from Biden, the biggest impact, the way to keep Putin under wraps is to

00:25:12.520 collapse the price of oil, which we were doing by being energy independent.

00:25:18.980 What role did that play in this?

00:25:22.300 Well, I did that too, and the nice thing about, I appreciate that list.

00:25:26.400 You know, some of those things I don't even think of.

00:25:28.540 We did all of them, and I appreciate that list.

00:25:31.600 I'm going to get a copy of that.

00:25:32.780 Have that sent immediately to me.

00:25:34.420 I think I'll mention it this weekend.

00:25:36.200 I'm in Texas where we have a, I hear an incredible crowd.

00:25:39.840 Nobody, they don't like to talk about crowd size.

00:25:42.400 You know, they never mention it.

00:25:43.480 But we could have 85,000, 90,000 people this weekend in Texas.

00:25:47.360 It's going to be great.

00:25:48.920 And I'm going to, I'm going to mention those things that you really do.

00:25:52.940 You bring up items that I've done so many of them.

00:25:56.240 And I actually, one other thing, I got along great with Putin, but he said, you're killing

00:26:01.220 me in some of this stuff.

00:26:02.400 You know, I had a good relationship with him.

00:26:04.380 He would have never done what he did, what he's doing here.

00:26:08.100 And by the way, I really believe that he wasn't going, he was doing it to negotiate.

00:26:12.800 And then he saw these people falling all over themselves not to be involved.

00:26:18.520 And he said, wow, I can go in here easy.

00:26:21.120 So I think it's much different.

00:26:22.600 I think two weeks ago, he had no intention of doing it.

00:26:25.060 He was just negotiating and doing his shtick, which he likes to do. 1.00

00:26:30.200 And now he's seeing it's like, it's like a clear path because of the stupid people he's 1.00

00:26:35.720 dealing with. 1.00

00:26:36.300 And is there, what would you say to Putin now if, if you were talking to him?

00:26:45.700 Well, now is a whole different story because now, and he's really ready to go.

00:26:50.140 And, you know, people are amazed at the newness and sophistication of his weapons.

00:26:55.180 You know, I don't know if you've been seeing that, but they are really, they are really

00:26:59.440 surprised by the weaponry.

00:27:01.840 I'm not surprised because that's what he does.

00:27:03.580 I mean, that's what certain of these people do.

00:27:06.340 Kim Jong-un, he's got some pretty powerful things going in there too.

00:27:11.640 But, and he's starting to do tests like he hasn't actually, like he's never done before.

00:27:16.440 He's really seeing the same thing.

00:27:18.720 They're all watching.

00:27:19.540 They all watched.

00:27:20.640 Look, they all watched what took place in Afghanistan, not to withdraw, but the way they withdrew.

00:27:26.180 So, and just, it's very sad.

00:27:29.460 I think right now it's a whole different thing.

00:27:31.180 And I must tell you, I was asked a question last night.

00:27:33.840 I said, I wouldn't want to tell you what I tell him because, you know, you can't tell

00:27:38.660 everything.

00:27:39.180 You know, you're playing a very highly sophisticated game of poker.

00:27:42.600 And, you know, you can't go out to the public and say, I would tell him this, or I would

00:27:47.260 tell him that.

00:27:48.560 You got to do what you have to do and tell him things that are very tough.

00:27:52.460 But you can't reveal that to the public until maybe after it's all done.

00:27:58.020 But I think there are ways of talking him out of it.

00:28:01.120 One of the things that you mentioned was so important is I drove the price of oil down

00:28:05.200 and that really hurt Russia and was killing OPEC.

00:28:09.840 And now we're going back to OPEC because we don't have oil.

00:28:13.160 It's amazing.

00:28:14.140 It's not even believable.

00:28:15.660 We were energy independent just a year ago and we were going to be double the size of

00:28:22.680 both.

00:28:23.360 And now we're like a bunch of, we're like a bunch of beggars.

00:28:28.600 We're going back to OPEC and asking them to give us oil.

00:28:32.180 We're going to Russia.

00:28:33.140 You know, they're giving oil to the East Coast.

00:28:35.940 Can you believe it?

00:28:37.020 We had so much oil, we didn't know what to do with it, Glenn.

00:28:39.960 I drove the price down.

00:28:41.500 In fact, I drove it down so low, I had to get it back up a little bit for the industry

00:28:45.420 itself, right?

00:28:46.720 But that was killing for Russia, what I did. 0.88

00:28:49.840 And now they're talking about $150 a barrel.

00:28:54.060 Which was the point of economic collapse in 2008.

00:28:57.660 It was $130 a barrel in 2008.

00:29:00.140 And then it caused, it was the final straw.

00:29:02.400 Who would have thought when I was doing the oil, when we had it down to $25 a barrel,

00:29:06.880 who would have thought we would have ever had this conversation that we're having right

00:29:11.120 now?

00:29:11.380 So everything that you look at, there is no way that you can say, these people see America

00:29:23.700 the same way America has always seen America.

00:29:26.380 This is just not a series of mistakes.

00:29:30.260 And you want to talk about systemic.

00:29:32.880 These policies and this kind of thinking, systemic throughout the system.

00:29:38.840 And inflation is just beginning.

00:29:42.040 Mr. President, is there, I mean, are you meeting with people?

00:29:45.940 Let's just pretend that you might be running for president.

00:29:52.020 Is there a thought of people getting together and making a naughty and nice list on how you

00:29:59.340 can clean this hornet's nest out quickly?

00:30:04.120 Well, we can, but don't forget, we're having, in my opinion, 10 million more people here.

00:30:11.460 Many of the people should not be in our country.

00:30:14.000 Many of these people are dangerous, very, very dangerous people.

00:30:17.660 Not only, you know, those that planelift from Afghanistan was a disaster. 1.00

00:30:22.320 Because only 3% of those people should have been here.

00:30:25.320 You're going to be reading about this for years to come.

00:30:27.880 Some of those people that came off should not, they're terrorists, and they should not

00:30:31.760 be in this country.

00:30:32.620 And then you see what's happening at the southern border.

00:30:35.160 Last week, 121 people, 121 countries were represented by people that came in.

00:30:41.200 But the numbers are much worse than you're hearing.

00:30:43.420 You know, the numbers you're hearing are, I had the border really at the lowest level ever.

00:30:48.580 And that included drugs.

00:30:49.840 And all they had to do is go to the beach.

00:30:51.700 They didn't have to do anything.

00:30:52.700 It was so good.

00:30:53.660 Getting better.

00:30:54.460 The wall was almost complete.

00:30:56.380 You know, they could have completed the wall in three weeks.

00:30:58.480 It was supposed to.

00:30:59.540 It took me two years to get it started because I had this, the Democrats sued me 11 different

00:31:06.100 times.

00:31:06.620 You know that I won all of the cases, all of the suits.

00:31:09.340 And then I proceeded and the wall was almost finished.

00:31:12.620 And then they didn't, they refused to do it.

00:31:14.960 It's not even believable what we're dealing with.

00:31:18.340 I thought that was incompetence, too, when they, you know, they showed the open borders.

00:31:23.620 And then I realized this is really their philosophy, open borders, no voter ID.

00:31:29.100 They cheat on elections.

00:31:31.180 That's all they're good at, by the way, is politics cheating on elections.

00:31:35.320 But they have a horrible policy.

00:31:37.240 Think of, I mean, who would have the kind of policy?

00:31:40.060 They're going to raise your taxes to a level that nobody's ever seen before.

00:31:43.600 That's going to be next.

00:31:44.440 Who can get elected with this?

00:31:47.080 They get elected because they cheat like hell in elections.

00:31:49.880 That's about it.

00:31:51.180 It's about all they can do well.

00:31:53.060 If they use the same genius, by the way, for Russia, Ukraine, China, for North Korea, if

00:32:00.740 they use the same genius that they do at cheating on elections, we'd have no problems. 0.96

00:32:05.580 Mr. President, thank you very much.

00:32:10.800 God bless you.

00:32:11.860 Well, Glenn, thank you.

00:32:13.580 Great job you do.

00:32:14.620 Thank you a lot, Glenn.

00:32:15.440 God bless.

00:32:19.660 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:32:22.320 It's the new year, and you know what that means, New Year's resolutions.

00:32:35.940 But if your resolution is like mine this year to eat a little healthier, make sure that you

00:32:39.960 include Bilt Bars in that plan.

00:32:42.380 Ever since the first time I tried a Bilt Bar, I've been a huge fan.

00:32:46.380 I hate protein bars and all of that stuff because it usually tastes like it comes from

00:32:51.300 a chemical factory.

00:32:52.820 But Bilt Bars have changed all of that. 0.96

00:32:55.120 Most Bilt Bars have about 130 calories, 4 grams of sugar, 4 grams of net carbs, and 17 grams

00:33:02.920 of protein.

00:33:03.960 They're also made with 100% real chocolate, amazing flavors that you're going to really

00:33:08.740 love.

00:33:09.220 So get rid of all the snacks that taste good that aren't friendly to your waistline, even

00:33:13.540 if you're not big on working out, which I'm also not a fan of, you can at least be eating

00:33:18.340 something that tastes good, but is also really pretty good for you as well.

00:33:21.840 It's Bilt.com.

00:33:32.300 Joining me today is Congressman Chris Stewart.

00:33:36.520 He is the author of a new book.

00:33:38.260 And, you know, I'll have these guys on and they talk about a new book and usually it's

00:33:43.180 like, okay, Chris actually is a great writer.

00:33:49.340 He's a great mind.

00:33:51.860 And his co-author is your son, isn't it?

00:33:55.380 His brother is a federal judge.

00:33:59.560 Your other brother was a colonel in the Air Force.

00:34:03.960 Um, gosh, as I'm missing other brothers, uh, and you're a congressman, your family is

00:34:11.000 wildly patriotic.

00:34:13.300 I mean, honestly.

00:34:15.560 And not embarrassed about it.

00:34:16.620 And not embarrassed about it.

00:34:18.380 Uh, and we have been talking about how do we get out of this mess for a very long time.

00:34:25.720 Uh, and first I just want to get your reaction to president Trump.

00:34:30.460 And, uh, I know you're on the Intel committee, but you can't tell us anything.

00:34:35.040 Uh, but you know, what, what are we facing here with Ukraine?

00:34:38.740 He just said, nothing is going to come of it for Americans.

00:34:43.900 We're not going to, other than the message it sends to the rest of the world.

00:34:47.840 Do you agree with that?

00:34:48.660 Yeah.

00:34:48.940 Although that's an important message.

00:34:50.500 Yeah.

00:34:50.860 Yeah.

00:34:51.400 Turns out.

00:34:52.100 Well, look, as I listened to you and the, and the president, and I thought it was a great

00:34:55.600 interview, uh, but for the thousandth time, I wished this man was our president still.

00:35:02.220 And I was talking to someone yesterday who was, you know, I don't want to say they're

00:35:05.500 a never Trumper, but they didn't support this president.

00:35:08.520 And I said, look at the world around us and, and tell me that you're not partly responsible

00:35:12.860 for that then.

00:35:13.600 And how could you look at the world around us and say, this is any way better than what

00:35:17.280 it was a year ago.

00:35:18.080 I take bad tweets every minute at the minute.

00:35:23.460 Yep.

00:35:23.880 Yep.

00:35:24.280 And you know, we have the chaos, but without any of the benefits because it's just a remarkably

00:35:29.320 different world.

00:35:30.060 I mean, I could not have imagined we'd be in this world in just 14 months.

00:35:33.700 And as I listened to the president again, I'm reminded of that.

00:35:36.320 I think one of the most important things he says, and the people mentioned this, but I

00:35:40.440 don't think they appreciate how true it is.

00:35:42.940 And that is Vladimir Putin took his measure of this president in the last year, particularly

00:35:47.540 in Afghanistan.

00:35:48.680 And he said to his staff, this is the time.

00:35:52.500 This is our opportunity.

00:35:54.660 And if he does not go into the Ukraine, it will be because he's changed his mind.

00:36:00.080 But this president, President Biden's doing nothing to change his mind.

00:36:03.820 Do you believe, Chris, that what the president said was true, that he was just negotiating,

00:36:11.160 had no intent, and then watching what's happening, he's like, are you kidding me?

00:36:15.980 You're practically giving me the country, I'm taking it.

00:36:18.620 I think there's absolute truth to that, but I think it's a little more complicated than

00:36:22.480 that as well.

00:36:23.080 Back in April, Vladimir Putin did this, and he positioned himself.

00:36:26.880 And most people don't even realize that we paid very little attention to it because we thought,

00:36:31.240 you know, he was just posturing.

00:36:32.480 But we do have analysis and insights into the president of Russia now that we didn't have

00:36:39.000 available then.

00:36:39.740 And, you know, it's pretty clear that he actually made a decision, we're going to do this.

00:36:45.520 And then every military action he's taken since then reinforces that conclusion.

00:36:50.100 As a military guy, because didn't you just sent the speed record at one point?

00:36:55.580 Yeah, fastest nonstop flight around the world, back when I had a job that I loved.

00:37:00.080 Yeah, okay.

00:37:00.680 So you were in the military.

00:37:04.800 Why would you put these critical medical units right there on the border if you weren't serious

00:37:11.920 and you weren't expecting real trouble?

00:37:13.680 Yeah, well, that's exactly right.

00:37:14.980 And I mean, he's brought troops and some artillery and other pieces as far away as from the North

00:37:19.620 Korean border.

00:37:20.860 We've never seen that before.

00:37:22.020 His positioning of the heavy armor and other things in Belarus, which is clearly designed

00:37:26.920 to go directly into the heart of Kiev.

00:37:29.100 I mean, this will be a three-pronged military attack.

00:37:32.640 And as I said, unlike anything we've ever seen before, he's positioned himself for that.

00:37:36.780 But I do think that they can dissuade him from doing this.

00:37:41.540 But, you know, sanctions, we can talk about SWIFT.

00:37:43.580 You can talk about repositioning our troops and NATO allies, you know, Poland and Latvia and

00:37:47.680 Baltics.

00:37:48.160 The one thing that Vladimir Putin fears more than anything else isn't losing some Russian 1.00

00:37:53.780 soldiers in the invasion.

00:37:55.180 It's losing Russian soldiers week after week after week from a resistance.

00:37:59.940 And is that happening?

00:38:00.940 Are people starting to form?

00:38:01.960 Well, we'll see what this president does.

00:38:03.540 Because if he were to clearly say, we will arm and support a resistance movement.

00:38:07.640 It's not going to do it.

00:38:08.480 But if he did, that's again, that's one thing that Vladimir Putin is really terrified of.

00:38:12.540 That's what happened in Poland.

00:38:13.980 Yeah.

00:38:14.120 And we didn't even have to arm them.

00:38:15.800 The president, Reagan, just said, rise up, support them.

00:38:19.480 We support you.

00:38:20.560 We see you.

00:38:21.380 We support you.

00:38:22.540 I think the biggest news for us to how it's going to affect us is I don't think we're ever

00:38:27.380 going to be able to go to Chernobyl.

00:38:29.540 We'll never see it.

00:38:30.800 No, that's not.

00:38:32.000 I know.

00:38:32.280 No.

00:38:32.920 They're putting troops.

00:38:34.280 I've heard in those areas because they're worried about having to defend Chernobyl and

00:38:39.640 the region around it.

00:38:40.760 But yes, no, I we do need to still go there.

00:38:42.780 Yeah, well, maybe we can end our our tour in a gulag, in a Russian gulag. 0.64

00:38:48.460 You know, I mean, it's better than this.

00:38:50.640 Yeah, it could be.

00:38:51.420 It could be.

00:38:52.540 Chris, I you are going to be part of my my Friday exclusive on the blaze.

00:38:59.940 But I have about 45 minutes with you and I want to talk to you about the book that you

00:39:05.180 just wrote, The Final Fight for Freedom.

00:39:07.580 I think this is a critically important book at exactly the right time, how to save our

00:39:14.800 country from chaos and war.

00:39:17.480 You know, the tech part of it.

00:39:20.540 And I just want to spend five minutes on what people don't know that we're facing, because

00:39:27.980 here's the here's the thing.

00:39:30.020 Big tech, huge business and governments all over the world know exactly what's coming. 0.96

00:39:37.440 And none of them have the balls to say it to any any of their citizens. 0.58

00:39:41.960 And it is it is the biggest crime against humanity, I believe, because they know and 0.98

00:39:49.600 it is clear what is coming.

00:39:52.180 Yeah.

00:39:52.460 And I'm not talking about the usual stuff.

00:39:54.440 Hang on just a second.

00:39:55.120 And I want to show you this is from the W.E.F.

00:39:58.440 This is the Great Reset people.

00:40:00.340 I want you to listen to how they just spoke about them versus you.

00:40:07.320 Listen.

00:40:07.500 At Davos a few years ago, you know, the Edelman survey showed us that the good news is the elite

00:40:16.220 across the world trust each other more and more so we can come together and design and

00:40:21.980 do beautiful things together.

00:40:23.800 The bad news is that in every single country they were polling, the majority of people

00:40:30.040 trusted that elite less.

00:40:32.480 Hmm.

00:40:33.040 So the important thing to grab on that is they know and they're designing beautiful

00:40:38.860 things and we don't trust them and they're not telling us.

00:40:43.660 So what is coming?

00:40:45.520 Oh, my gosh.

00:40:46.000 How can you listen to that quote and not laugh, not openly laugh?

00:40:49.120 The elites trust each other, but the other guys don't trust us.

00:40:52.580 And Glenn, you said they're not only not warning people, as you point out in the Great Reset,

00:40:57.120 they're part of it.

00:40:58.820 They're an integral part of it.

00:41:00.780 And so, I mean, what this book does, The Final Fight for Freedom, it talks about what's going

00:41:06.240 to happen in the future.

00:41:07.800 I mean, we actually-

00:41:08.460 And we're not talking future, future.

00:41:10.040 We're talking around the corner.

00:41:11.500 That's right.

00:41:12.100 And you mentioned, you know, our kids.

00:41:14.140 I mean, I think this is not a generation away, the view that we have here.

00:41:18.900 It's how does society fail, why society fails, and the weapons our adversaries are going

00:41:24.180 to use against us at that point.

00:41:26.000 And the premise is really simple.

00:41:27.740 We are committing national suicide.

00:41:29.980 We are so divided ourselves-

00:41:31.460 Hang on just a second, because you and I had a conversation off the air a couple of days

00:41:34.720 ago, and you said that in a very sobering way.

00:41:38.480 You told me you had just come out of a meeting.

00:41:40.540 You couldn't tell me what the meeting was or what it was about or anything.

00:41:43.300 He said, but you and others looked at each other and said, this is national suicide.

00:41:47.980 We're committing suicide.

00:41:49.280 There are times when we have briefings and your jaw just drops, and you just think, how

00:41:54.260 in the world could we do this to ourselves?

00:41:56.820 Because it's not inevitable.

00:41:58.980 And some of the things we're doing don't have to be done, or we could counter these things.

00:42:03.400 But sometimes you walk out and you realize we're not, or we won't.

00:42:07.680 We could and we won't.

00:42:09.120 And I use that phrase, national suicide, very, very carefully.

00:42:13.060 But if we divide ourselves and weaken ourselves, China's not going to send troops into the Bay

00:42:18.000 of San Francisco, they're not going to have to.

00:42:20.600 If you want to know about quantum computing and really understand the physics behind it,

00:42:24.540 read this book.

00:42:25.160 It's fascinating stuff.

00:42:26.340 It is.

00:42:26.700 It's really, really cool.

00:42:28.300 The one thing I love about you is you're into futurist stuff, and you and I have had

00:42:32.300 calls in the middle of the afternoon, middle of the night going, quantum computing, are

00:42:37.640 you seeing this?

00:42:39.240 And all of the AI stuff, and you address it, and you must address it.

00:42:43.600 Yeah, because that's the weapons that our adversary, in this case, China. 0.51

00:42:47.720 Just give a little preview of what's in the book.

00:42:50.720 Well, it starts out with this scene of a person, you find out he was one of the elites we just

00:42:55.580 talked about.

00:42:56.240 He's a very wealthy, very well-known media personality.

00:43:00.120 And he's with his daughter trying to maneuver through Washington, D.C., through the gangs

00:43:05.100 and the fires and the violence to find food.

00:43:07.700 And that's kind of the introduction to this is the world that we're looking at.

00:43:11.800 And again, Glenn, it's not our grandchildren.

00:43:14.580 No, we'll be alive.

00:43:16.900 Oh, for sure.

00:43:17.640 Yeah.

00:43:18.080 For sure.

00:43:18.880 And you just kind of back up through it.

00:43:20.420 Okay, we weaken ourselves.

00:43:22.060 At that point, China acts. 0.90

00:43:23.840 They use quantum.

00:43:24.660 They use biological weapons. 0.87

00:43:25.960 CRISPR, which is terrifying.

00:43:28.440 Drone swarms with AI.

00:43:30.660 And they don't do it in a military attack.

00:43:32.680 They do it to attack our society.

00:43:34.540 But then you have to say, well, what is the answer?

00:43:37.400 Is this inevitable or can we fix this?

00:43:39.300 And we can fix it.

00:43:41.140 But it's not going to be easy.

00:43:42.420 But the answer is really quite simple.

00:43:44.560 You have to create this pressure relief valve to keep our nation strong enough that China 1.00

00:43:49.440 doesn't attack us.

00:43:50.900 And in my view, the only way to do that is through severe federalism.

00:43:55.960 Hey, if California wants to go nuts, and in some ways they have.

00:44:00.460 In some ways?

00:44:01.500 Okay, I'm trying to be generous.

00:44:03.200 I was just in Colorado. 0.99

00:44:04.760 These people are insane. 0.91

00:44:06.460 What they're doing with water is insanity. 0.95

00:44:09.880 Well, so let's talk about California real quick.

00:44:11.540 So they're going to double taxes in order to provide medical benefits to everyone, including

00:44:17.020 people who are there illegally.

00:44:18.720 Hey, if California wants to do that, knock yourself out. 0.76

00:44:21.240 But I'm not paying for it.

00:44:22.140 But we shouldn't have to.

00:44:23.700 Correct.

00:44:23.860 People in Texas shouldn't have to.

00:44:25.460 People in Utah shouldn't have to.

00:44:27.040 Let the states decide.

00:44:28.660 It was the way our founding fathers intended it.

00:44:31.120 If you want to be in Vermont, if you want to be in Portland, where you're going to legalize

00:44:34.620 marijuana and legalize heroin, hey, I think it's insane.

00:44:37.840 But if you locally and as a state level decide to do that, then go ahead and do it.

00:44:42.100 But we're not going to.

00:44:43.480 And the key to this is you don't feel like you're having this stuff jammed down your throat

00:44:47.320 by a federal government that is compelling us to do it.

00:44:50.680 People will then migrate to the states to support their values, support the things they believe

00:44:56.360 in.

00:44:56.680 And if we were to do that, we could keep our country together.

00:45:00.120 We would be different.

00:45:01.460 But people would be living in places and living under governments that they support and they

00:45:05.880 don't resent.

00:45:06.460 So there are a couple of things that point to its favor.

00:45:10.180 And one of them is all the all the Republicans, I should say, the conservatives and especially

00:45:18.580 those in living in Texas, when Obama was the president, they were jamming all this stuff

00:45:23.240 down everybody's throat. 0.68

00:45:23.960 They were like, you know what?

00:45:24.820 Just a seat doesn't, you know, 10th Amendment and, you know, we'll live our way and you're

00:45:30.800 not going to tell our state what to do or we'll secede.

00:45:33.180 I don't I'm not for seceding, but the 10th Amendment, the liberals went crazy until Trump

00:45:39.980 was president.

00:45:41.360 And then California said that 10th Amendment's really important.

00:45:45.540 So there is some sort of an appetite for that.

00:45:48.880 Well, there is no question.

00:45:49.960 I mean, look, we live in a day where people actually in a serious way talk about civil war,

00:45:54.320 which would be a catastrophe.

00:45:56.040 There's no way that you can ever support that idea.

00:45:58.880 Again, what are we going to do? 0.98

00:45:59.640 Go out and shoot our neighbors because that's what it would be. 0.99

00:46:01.500 It's not north versus south. 0.99

00:46:03.060 And then they say, OK, maybe we need an amicable divorce succession, as you've said.

00:46:08.100 But again, it's completely impractical.

00:46:10.060 For one thing, it destroys our nation.

00:46:11.520 And second thing is, look, we can't agree on the simple things.

00:46:14.200 Do you think we could peacefully agree on how we're going to divide Social Security or our

00:46:18.380 military or the national debt or ports and rivers?

00:46:21.980 I mean, how could we possibly imagine we could have an amicable divorce over and with those

00:46:25.840 enormous issues?

00:46:27.100 I have to take a break.

00:46:28.060 But when we come back, I want to hear your response to these.

00:46:32.680 The 40 percent of the American people, 40 and there's Democrats believe that if you don't

00:46:38.980 get your kids vaccinated, you shouldn't have access to your kids. 0.92

00:46:42.440 They should be taken away from you.

00:46:44.040 Fifty seven percent are basically talking about camps for other people.

00:46:49.200 I can't live next to somebody like that.

00:46:51.580 I have nothing in common because we don't agree on human rights anymore.

00:46:55.760 We are back with Congressman Chris Stewart, a Republican from Utah.

00:47:00.380 He has written a book that is a must read, The Final Fight for Freedom.

00:47:04.560 You will begin to understand not only what you're facing, but also how fast it's going to happen.

00:47:10.600 The book starts and a year later, you're looking for food out in the streets.

00:47:15.980 Yeah, and in a very credible way.

00:47:19.680 We don't have to stretch imagination.

00:47:21.560 We don't have to step outside of reality to create that kind of scenario.

00:47:25.520 And Glenn, the important thing, again, is that it doesn't have to be that way.

00:47:30.100 We can stop this from happening.

00:47:32.380 I mean, I want to come back to the point before we took the break about you're saying 40 percent

00:47:36.380 of them would take children away from someone who hasn't been immunized.

00:47:40.260 They also, about the same number, 40 percent, would take children away from someone that they

00:47:43.860 consider a racist or a nationalist.

00:47:47.480 Well, that's all of us in their minds.

00:47:50.280 I mean, the Department of Justice has made it pretty clear.

00:47:52.380 You're a domestic terrorist if you go to a school board.

00:47:55.540 So how do we come back together? 0.64

00:47:58.760 I mean, I've said this for a long time.

00:48:00.420 Our unum used to be the Bill of Rights.

00:48:03.760 We don't have that anymore.

00:48:05.720 No, not at all.

00:48:06.480 And one of the points we make in this book, and it's ironic but true, the Bill of Rights

00:48:10.020 would never be approved by this Congress in this world.

00:48:14.340 It just wouldn't be.

00:48:15.560 I think maybe two of them might.

00:48:17.880 You know, you can't house federal soldiers in someone's backyard or in their basement.

00:48:22.480 Yeah, that one maybe.

00:48:23.980 But many of the others simply wouldn't be.

00:48:26.040 And this is kind of the moment we're facing.

00:48:28.720 Look, if you want to argue about tax policy or, you know, a few of these things on the margin,

00:48:33.480 but we're talking about fundamental rights, fundamental freedoms, the Bill of Rights.

00:48:36.960 And how do you compromise on those things?

00:48:38.920 You can't.

00:48:39.400 You just can't.
