The Glenn Beck Program - Best of The Program ｜ Guests： Franklin Graham, Russ Vought, & Michael Anton ｜ 9⧸22⧸20

00:00:00.000 Hey, it's the Glenn Beck Program and our podcast.

00:00:03.320 Stu joins me today.

00:00:04.720 Great show today, Stu.

00:00:06.100 Thank you very much.

00:00:07.140 I thought it was your execution on a lot of things.

00:00:10.940 Very nice.

00:00:11.580 Thank you.

00:00:11.920 And yours as well.

00:00:13.440 Well, you mean execution in a different way.

00:00:16.640 Actually, we did talk about somebody calling for the execution of a former Trump official

00:00:22.380 because he didn't even reveal.

00:00:26.880 He reported on a story that was leaked from the left and published in the New York Times

00:00:34.400 and the Daily Beast.

00:00:36.620 And because of this, the head of the, what is it, the transition, the wonderful transition

00:00:43.520 thing that is supposed to be, oh, so bipartisan.

00:00:45.860 No, it's not bipartisan.

00:00:48.240 It has one guy who's never been a Republican, really, in my eyes, Bill Kristol on the board.

00:00:53.660 Um, it's the, uh, Bipartisan Transition Integrity Project.

00:00:59.460 Well, it has integrity in the title.

00:01:01.260 Yeah.

00:01:01.540 Does that mean it's good?

00:01:02.400 So, he said that Michael Anton is, uh, uh, should be, should be executed for what he's

00:01:11.620 done. 0.81

00:01:12.040 Michael Anton is the Robert Brasilich of our times and deserves the same fate. 0.81

00:01:16.540 That guy was a Nazi collaborator and was just shot.

00:01:20.580 And it was controversial even then when he really was a Nazi collaborator in France.

00:01:26.440 This is, this is what you're going to get.

00:01:29.780 The, the stakes are really, really high for the Republic.

00:01:34.080 You'll see that in today's show.

00:01:36.220 Also, we need your support at The Blaze.

00:01:38.880 Uh, we talk about it a lot, what Facebook is doing, what Facebook has just done yesterday

00:01:43.620 to The Blaze.

00:01:45.080 Uh, you're not going to receive really any of our stories on your Facebook feed.

00:01:50.660 Enough is enough.

00:01:51.760 We need your help.

00:01:52.800 Join us at blazetv.com or you can also just sign up for The Blaze newsletter at theblaze.com

00:02:00.180 or glennbeck.com.

00:02:01.360 But make sure we have a way of getting a hold of you because times are a-changing, as you

00:02:06.820 will see in today's podcast.

00:02:16.080 You're listening to The Best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:02:22.800 Yesterday, we found out the Department of Justice has identified New York City, Portland, and

00:02:29.660 Seattle as jurisdictions permitting and, uh, permitting violence and the destruction of

00:02:36.100 property.

00:02:36.940 They have identified, uh, these cities, uh, Portland, again, New York City, and Seattle,

00:02:44.180 uh, as, uh, uh, putting up with anarchy.

00:02:48.260 Now, there's a reason why you would declare something.

00:02:51.580 It's like declaring something a national emergency or a state emergency.

00:02:54.740 It trips certain levers.

00:02:56.820 So what are the levers that were tripped with this Department of Justice now identifying these

00:03:02.980 cities as condoning violence and destruction of property?

00:03:06.680 We have Russ Vodon, who was with us last week.

00:03:09.020 He's the director of the Office of Management and Budget.

00:03:11.380 This is the guy who takes the directors, uh, the directives of the president and of the

00:03:16.160 administration and then says, okay, here's how to implement them.

00:03:19.440 So, Russ, what, what does this mean?

00:03:22.100 What's going to happen?

00:03:23.640 Hey, Glenn, thanks for having me on your show.

00:03:25.560 You bet.

00:03:25.880 What this means is that, uh, we can now take a list of programs and we're still working on

00:03:32.320 the list as the agencies come forward with all of the programs, all of the funding that

00:03:36.480 goes to these particular cities, but we can look at the, each one of them and the authorities

00:03:41.480 that we have in each one of them with the discretion provided by Congress.

00:03:45.620 So all of those people saying we don't have the ability to do that.

00:03:48.380 They are all, they all have unique laws.

00:03:50.600 And then we can make sure that as grants are going to these jurisdictions, they have either

00:03:56.240 a component that makes the, uh, the lawlessness and anarchy weigh against them or makes them

00:04:02.000 flat out ineligible for the grant funding.

00:04:04.320 So we're going to use the authority given us by Congress to put these grant conditions

00:04:09.480 in place as a result of Attorney General Barr's work yesterday.

00:04:13.260 Uh, we now have the list in which we're going to immediately begin to work on that.

00:04:18.240 Uh, and we'll see if any other additional cities are added in the future.

00:04:21.680 So can you tell me, um, I mean, how crippling are these?

00:04:27.520 Do you have any idea yet?

00:04:30.420 Uh, it's a work in progress, but it, we, we believe it will have.

00:04:34.320 It will have an impact on these, on these, uh, uh, cities.

00:04:37.380 And, you know, the president is siding with the people of these cities who want security,

00:04:42.540 want the police to be able to work, want the autonomous zones, uh, and, and, and all of

00:04:48.240 the other decisions that these mayors have made adversely to their, the safety and security

00:04:53.260 of their individuals.

00:04:54.760 Um, you know, look, let's take something like a community economic development program, you

00:04:59.780 know, substantial resources are going to these cities.

00:05:02.560 Why would we send money to a city when they're, you know, they're burning it down or looting,

00:05:09.240 they're vandalizing it.

00:05:10.380 That's not in any way going to be conducive to economic development or public transportation

00:05:16.400 grants.

00:05:16.780 Why would we send money to these cities?

00:05:19.020 And there's substantial resources, uh, that when they, you know, are providing vandalism,

00:05:24.980 uh, on the bus path, uh, and, and their, and their transit program, these are all things

00:05:30.180 that we are, are concerned about and we're going to take steps to, to restrict.

00:05:34.800 So what kind of timeline are we talking about before they start to feel this?

00:05:40.400 Uh, I think it'll be incremental, Glenn.

00:05:42.500 I think this is something that we still have work that the agencies need to come, uh, report

00:05:47.520 to own B with, uh, you know, we need a, a, a rack up of all of the funds, a real breakdown

00:05:55.180 at a city level.

00:05:56.420 And often we get it at the state level so that we can, we can begin to, to go about it from

00:06:01.280 there.

00:06:01.520 But at least we have the template for which cities we're, we're identifying first.

00:06:05.420 And what do the city leaders need to do to make sure it doesn't happen?

00:06:09.620 I think this is the, the, the real, uh, significant question, uh, that you ask and why they're on

00:06:16.380 the, on the list to begin with.

00:06:18.000 These are, we've had mixed conversations and mixed results with many mayors and governors

00:06:23.440 across the country.

00:06:24.700 These in particular are the three that have made no movement in our direction.

00:06:29.960 They have no desire whatsoever to work with federal law enforcement.

00:06:34.580 They've consistently tried to cut their police forces back.

00:06:39.080 That's really what has caused them to be on this list is their total, uh, inability and

00:06:46.100 unwillingness to move in our direction where others, uh, you look at Kenosha, for example,

00:06:51.860 St.

00:06:52.140 Louis, um, very initially problematic.

00:06:54.900 But as, as we began to work with them, attorney general bar, uh, deputy sec or secretary, uh,

00:07:01.200 Chad Wolf, the, they have moved in our direction.

00:07:04.180 And as a result, they don't find themselves on this list.

00:07:07.180 And so, uh, we do think to some extent that this is an effort to change their eye level.

00:07:11.600 There's no immediate deadline, but, uh, we're going to continue just on a day in day day out

00:07:16.720 basis, uh, begin to, to turn the screws a little bit.

00:07:19.680 So last week we had you on, um, because of, of, uh, the, uh, CDC going against the presidential

00:07:28.040 directive.

00:07:28.900 Uh, and I saw that the CDC director, um, is still there.

00:07:36.020 It is anyone going to be, uh, punished for going after these directives and, and saying,

00:07:43.520 we don't care what the president says.

00:07:45.660 I mean, in, in a private company, all those people would be shown the door by the CEO on

00:07:50.440 the same day.

00:07:52.980 Yeah, it's a great question.

00:07:54.880 It's one of the things that we have, uh, uh, trouble with in the, in a federal bureaucracy,

00:07:59.660 unlike a private marketplace because of the, the career rules, uh, that are in place.

00:08:05.620 Uh, but we are looking at, uh, areas to ensure that, uh, these policies do get enacted.

00:08:12.080 And we were able to, to stop that CDC, uh, uh, contract from going forward.

00:08:17.140 And I talked with Bob Redfield about it and he was, uh, uh, thankful to be made aware of

00:08:22.160 it and, and was certainly helpful in, in putting out that fire.

00:08:25.780 And we're doing that as we've identified, uh, other instances at, uh, EPA, uh, at the

00:08:32.420 department of VA and state department recently yesterday.

00:08:35.060 So, uh, we're going to continue to, uh, put out when we see flames, uh, and, and to go

00:08:42.120 in that direction.

00:08:42.780 And we're also looking at ways to expand the president's direction to figure out, uh, to

00:08:47.600 the extent that, uh, we can use the laws that are in place with regard to our, uh, the career

00:08:52.840 civil service, uh, whether it impacts their, their performance ratings, uh, devices that

00:08:59.380 we have.

00:08:59.840 I mean, this is in, in subordination.

00:09:02.120 I mean, it's, you are going against a presidential directive.

00:09:05.960 If you can't be fired for that, what can you be fired for?

00:09:11.360 Uh, and not much, Glenn, to be honest with you.

00:09:13.900 And that's the rules that, and the laws that have been put in place, but we do have the

00:09:17.500 ability, uh, to build the record of, of where individuals have not performed.

00:09:25.020 Unbelievable.

00:09:25.500 And that is something that we're looking at quite to the best of our ability.

00:09:28.840 This is, this, it's unacceptable.

00:09:30.540 I know I'm not saying it is for you, Russ, but it, this is unacceptable.

00:09:35.240 I don't know how, I don't know how the president, um, accepts that.

00:09:39.660 That should be priority.

00:09:40.860 Number one, figuring out a way to be able to fire people or you'll never get rid of the

00:09:45.520 deep state if you can't fire the people.

00:09:48.520 I mean, that just sends a, sends a message to all of the other people that want to disagree

00:09:53.100 with the president and do what they want, uh, just get a slap on the wrist.

00:09:56.560 I mean, that, that's, it's absolutely unacceptable.

00:10:00.080 Mm-hmm.

00:10:01.160 You know, we, we, we don't disagree on that.

00:10:04.280 Okay.

00:10:05.020 Russ, thank you very much.

00:10:06.120 I appreciate it.

00:10:06.840 And, uh, keep up the good work.

00:10:09.200 You bet.

00:10:09.720 Glenn, thank you.

00:10:10.000 You bet.

00:10:10.220 Bye-bye.

00:10:12.440 Does that make any sense to you at all?

00:10:14.220 It's interesting.

00:10:14.920 I, I, you know, I was on vacation last week and I don't, I don't know the story.

00:10:18.720 What, what's the story?

00:10:19.620 So the story last week was, okay, so the story last week was the CDC, the president issued

00:10:26.200 a directive that said no critical race theory studies in any of the administration.

00:10:32.100 Right before I left.

00:10:32.760 Yeah.

00:10:32.860 So two days later, we find out the CDC is not only going against that, they've booked,

00:10:39.420 I think a 13 week, uh, series on critical race theory.

00:10:45.140 Okay.

00:10:46.720 Against the president's directive.

00:10:49.060 The CDC is the one that like, they're still, still about, about disease, right?

00:10:53.000 The center of disease control.

00:10:54.140 Yeah, but they said they need it.

00:10:55.400 No, no, no.

00:10:55.780 They said because racism is a bigger disease than even COVID.

00:10:59.700 That's not science.

00:11:01.600 Thank you.

00:11:02.440 Thank you.

00:11:02.880 That's not science.

00:11:03.360 And no one was fired.

00:11:04.720 Now they stopped it, but no one was fired.

00:11:06.960 This is the first time I've had a chance to ask, when is somebody going to get fired?

00:11:10.940 Why haven't we, why haven't you been fired yet?

00:11:13.120 So then yesterday from the same exact reporter, uh, Chris, uh, Christopher Ruffo, he released

00:11:21.640 yesterday, the state department, EPA and VA are moving forward with critical race trainings

00:11:27.900 in violation of the presidential order.

00:11:29.820 The agencies are pressuring staff to denounce their white privilege, become co-resisters

00:11:34.580 against systematic racism and sign equity pledges.

00:11:38.760 The, this is against a presidential directive.

00:11:45.280 You are a country that you have the administration in rebellion with the head of the administration.

00:11:54.320 If they don't take the presidential directives, all of those people are tied to the cabinet.

00:12:01.320 The cabinet members are the ones that answer to the president.

00:12:05.800 And he says, you're doing this.

00:12:08.120 They then go out and tell their staff, do this.

00:12:10.700 If their staff isn't doing it, you need to keep firing until they do.

00:12:16.660 How is the president supposed to run a country?

00:12:19.620 If his own cabinet, his own administration won't listen to what he's doing.

00:12:27.080 This is deep state at its, at its core.

00:12:32.120 If you teach people, they don't have to worry about an elected president.

00:12:37.040 Then what do they have to worry about?

00:12:40.140 Why elect a president?

00:12:41.780 Why elect one?

00:12:42.840 If the president who oversees, this is his job.

00:12:46.780 He oversees all of the departments.

00:12:51.600 That's his job.

00:12:53.400 And if he can't tell them, yes, you're going to do this.

00:12:56.680 No, you're not going to do this.

00:12:58.160 Then why elect a president?

00:12:59.680 It's just chipping away at the entire foundation of the country.

00:13:02.740 Why elect a president if when he names a Supreme Court justice and it gets approved by the

00:13:07.680 elected Senate, you just change all the rules and make, you know, make 15 Supreme Court

00:13:12.620 justices so you can have all of your team in there, right?

00:13:15.120 Why, why bother with any of this?

00:13:17.180 And I think that that's, of course, part of this plan you've been talking about for a

00:13:21.080 long time is chipping away at these foundations.

00:13:24.120 You know, we've been told how many times that Joe Biden is a return to normalcy.

00:13:28.500 Is he?

00:13:29.880 This doesn't feel like normal, does it?

00:13:31.620 Does it feel like normal when they're going to add 15 Supreme Court justices?

00:13:35.380 Does it feel, does it feel normal when they're going to get rid of the Electoral College?

00:13:38.920 Does it feel normal when they're going to, uh, to rip and shred every single tradition

00:13:44.880 and, you know, rule that we've been living under for a couple hundred years?

00:13:50.360 And you erase our history?

00:13:52.200 You're going to, you're going to add, you're going to, you're going to add states so you

00:13:54.800 can get more senators to win votes?

00:13:56.980 Like this is normal.

00:13:58.580 I mean, like, and how many people with blue check marks next to their name need to say

00:14:03.740 we're going to burn it down?

00:14:04.960 I think Don Lemon even said it last night.

00:14:07.120 Uh, we need to burn the whole system down if, if they do this.

00:14:10.240 Like, well, that's the return to normalcy you're voting for?

00:14:14.020 That's what you want?

00:14:15.880 Because clearly this is not normal.

00:14:17.860 Americans are not going to stand for it. 1.00

00:14:19.080 America, they want a civil war.

00:14:21.780 They want one.

00:14:22.840 All we're asking for is a return to the Constitution.

00:14:26.440 That's it.

00:14:27.420 That's it.

00:14:27.860 We don't have any crazy demands.

00:14:30.000 Our crazy demands are let's live by the rules that made us America in the first place.

00:14:37.180 Let's live by the Constitution.

00:14:40.400 All of the amendments.

00:14:42.340 Let's live by that.

00:14:44.880 That's what the right is asking for.

00:14:47.920 I don't want a dictator.

00:14:49.480 I don't know anybody who wants a dictator.

00:14:51.260 I want to be left alone by the federal government.

00:14:55.620 When we need the federal government, the states can ask for help.

00:15:00.620 But I want the federal government out of my life.

00:15:04.160 How is that radical?

00:15:06.200 That is the definition of American.

00:15:13.220 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:16:58.560 There needs to be a call back to God.

00:17:04.620 The only, only solution to our problems right now is to humble ourselves, realize we have broken the covenant with God, turn back to God.

00:17:15.800 If we don't turn back to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, if we don't ask for forgiveness and accept the salvation and the atonement, we are lost perhaps forever.

00:17:32.100 However, miracles can happen.

00:17:34.660 And a guy who knows all about that is Franklin Graham.

00:17:37.060 Hello, Franklin.

00:17:37.680 How are you?

00:17:39.060 Glenn, it's great to be with you.

00:17:40.540 I'm doing fine.

00:17:41.100 Thank you.

00:17:41.620 Good.

00:17:42.420 Tell me about what's happening this weekend.

00:17:45.100 You know, Glenn, as you were just saying, the only hope for this nation is God.

00:17:49.640 And I'm calling our nation to prayer.

00:17:51.700 And this is going to be on the mall in Washington, starting at the Lincoln Memorial.

00:17:59.020 And we're going to go all the way down to the Capitol.

00:18:02.180 And we don't have speakers.

00:18:04.600 We don't have entertainment.

00:18:06.140 We're just asking people to come and join us.

00:18:09.440 And let's join hands and lock arms.

00:18:11.600 And let's go and pray every step that we take, praying for our leaders, praying for those that are in authority,

00:18:20.040 the president, the vice president, those in Congress, both Republicans and Democrats,

00:18:25.400 praying that God would shake that city and open the eyes of our nation to what lies ahead if we don't repent and turn up our sins and put our faith and trust in God.

00:18:36.780 We've taken God out of government, Glenn.

00:18:38.880 We've taken him out of our schools.

00:18:41.000 And is our nation better?

00:18:43.360 No, it's in a spiral down.

00:18:46.100 And the only hope is God.

00:18:48.540 And we need more of God in government.

00:18:50.360 We need more God in schools, not less of God.

00:18:52.840 We need more.

00:18:54.180 And our politicians are ruining the country.

00:18:58.040 And I'm just praying that God would get a hold of their hearts and change them.

00:19:02.380 And that's why I'm asking people to join me.

00:19:04.840 And that's at 12 noon this Saturday, the 26th, in Washington at the Washington Monument.

00:19:10.220 And we'll go all the way to the Capitol, praying as we go.

00:19:13.760 So, Franklin, it wasn't long that long ago that you and I and your dad met at at your home in North Carolina.

00:19:26.700 And we talked about the things that were coming.

00:19:29.260 And it seemed pretty bad then.

00:19:32.340 But evil is so unmasked right now.

00:19:37.040 I am shocked that more people don't see it.

00:19:41.380 What's happening?

00:19:42.080 Glenn, it's socialism.

00:19:45.240 And you have people, the Democratic Party, unfortunately, and my father was a Democrat all of his life.

00:19:53.920 But the Democratic Party today is not the party of JFK.

00:19:57.440 It's not the party of Lyndon Baines Johnson.

00:19:59.860 This party today is a socialist party that wants to take our nation to socialism, like Cuba, like Venezuela, what they had in Eastern Europe.

00:20:11.240 All of these are failures.

00:20:13.200 And they're wanting us to go in this direction.

00:20:16.380 And it's scary what's happening.

00:20:19.440 Because a socialist, for me as a Christian, socialism is anti-God.

00:20:24.720 They've always been anti-God.

00:20:26.040 They say government is the solution, not God.

00:20:29.060 And they believe bigger taxes, more government control over every aspect of our life.

00:20:35.200 They believe that is the answer.

00:20:37.040 And that is not the answer.

00:20:38.740 That's the problem.

00:20:39.440 And we have a clear choice in this election.

00:20:42.700 And I hope people wake up.

00:20:44.000 And I hope, Glenn, people pray and people vote.

00:20:47.740 And how important it is that every person votes.

00:20:51.240 Every Christian, every God-fearing man, woman, child in this country needs to vote. 1.00

00:20:56.300 And I've had people say, well, my vote doesn't count.

00:21:00.140 Yes, it does.

00:21:01.340 Every vote counts.

00:21:02.460 And many elections are not decided by, as you know, millions of votes.

00:21:05.640 It's decided sometimes by just a handful.

00:21:07.860 And it's so important that we go to the polls and let our voice be heard.

00:21:14.640 Do you think this is, Franklin, we're at a time where it is last call for America?

00:21:21.700 Oh, I believe that.

00:21:22.840 If this country goes socialist, it took Russia 70 years and Eastern Europe 70 years.

00:21:32.860 And it will do the same for our country, maybe 70 years or more before this country would change back.

00:21:41.600 And what the socialists want to do is they want to change the Constitution.

00:21:44.920 They want to stack the courts with liberal justices so that the liberal justices will rubber stamp their agenda.

00:21:54.460 They want to do away with the Constitution and rewrite it.

00:21:57.640 They say it's out of date.

00:21:59.240 And this is what's in front of us.

00:22:01.960 And they'll take this First Amendment, Second Amendment, and we will lose our freedoms. 0.51

00:22:06.580 And it will take maybe a war many years from now to turn this all around.

00:22:12.880 And I hope the American people wake up and reject socialism and reject the agenda of the Democratic Party.

00:22:18.580 And that's why I'm wanting people to join me.

00:22:21.340 And let's just pray, because I believe the only hope is God.

00:22:24.500 It's not the Republican Party or Democratic Party.

00:22:27.140 It's God is the only hope for this nation.

00:22:29.300 But we have sinned against God, and we need to repent and turn from our sins and believe on His Son, Jesus Christ, and trust Him as a nation.

00:22:38.920 That's where our heritage is.

00:22:40.460 That's where our foundation is a nation, and we've turned from that foundation.

00:22:44.040 So this coming Saturday, I hope people will join me.

00:22:47.000 They're on the mall.

00:22:47.840 And let's march and pray as we march and praying for our nation.

00:22:54.320 Franklin, let me ask one last question of you.

00:22:57.080 I was shocked to be asked this by somebody who I would have never guessed didn't know how to do this.

00:23:07.460 And they came to me and they said, well, I said, have you talked to God about that?

00:23:12.080 Have you prayed on that?

00:23:13.780 And they answered by saying, no, I don't know how to do that.

00:23:21.060 I gave them an answer, but I'd like to hear your answer.

00:23:23.660 How do you, for somebody who doesn't know how to pray, how do they pray?

00:23:28.640 Well, you know, Glenn, first of all, the Bible says all of us have sinned, and we've come short of God's standards.

00:23:37.440 And the Bible says that the wages of sin or the penalty for sin is death.

00:23:41.880 But the Bible is also very clear that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,

00:23:47.240 that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but should have everlasting life.

00:23:51.840 And if we would just in our hearts, and this is a prayer, just in our hearts to say, God, I'm a sinner and I'm sorry.

00:23:58.060 Forgive me.

00:23:59.220 And I believe that Jesus is the one who took my sins, that He died in my place, and that you raised Him to life.

00:24:06.080 And I want to invite Him to come into my heart.

00:24:08.380 That's a prayer.

00:24:09.180 And God will hear that prayer, and He will answer that prayer, and He will change your heart, He'll cleanse you,

00:24:15.220 and He'll give you a new life, and He'll give you a brand new beginning.

00:24:19.180 And how many times I've met people who say, boy, if I could just start over again, you can.

00:24:23.040 By just praying a prayer, a simple prayer like that, God, forgive me, I have sinned, I'm sorry.

00:24:28.060 Franklin Graham, thank you very much.

00:24:29.820 President and CEO of Samaritan's Purse.

00:24:32.240 President and CEO of Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

00:24:35.120 The prayer march is happening this Saturday, beginning at noon, in Washington, D.C.

00:24:41.260 There are no speakers, there's no stages, there's no music.

00:24:44.260 It is really, truly just a prayer march, which our country desperately, desperately needs to cry out for the protection and the healing of our land.

00:24:58.220 And please, if you can, be a part of this, the prayer march 2020.

00:25:02.500 And if you can't, pray from wherever you are.

00:25:06.260 Just pray.

00:25:07.660 We need it more than ever.

00:25:09.020 Thank you, Franklin Graham.

00:25:09.980 Appreciate it.

00:25:11.140 Thank you.

00:25:11.820 You bet.

00:25:16.380 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:25:19.020 We go right to Michael Anton, who has got to put us on speakerphone because he's driving.

00:25:33.880 So, make sure you stay safe first, Michael.

00:25:36.840 Welcome to the program.

00:25:38.040 How are you?

00:25:39.800 Fine, thank you.

00:25:40.520 You're a former national security official in the Trump administration, your senior fellow at the Claremont Institute, the author of The Stakes.

00:25:49.440 You have been talking about the Transition Integrity Project.

00:25:52.840 And the Transition Integrity Project is something that is not seriously looking for integrity.

00:25:59.920 They are looking ways to war game how Biden can win and what they have to do, no matter what the scenario is.

00:26:08.100 Would you would you say that is an accurate description?

00:26:11.220 That is a description based on their own report that they deliberately leaked to the media.

00:26:17.880 So, I know, denials, which actually haven't even been made, would be not credible based on this document that they, again, deliberately leaked to the media.

00:26:28.340 Right.

00:26:29.040 Why do you think they leaked it?

00:26:30.560 Do you think it was because they were arrogant and they thought everybody agreed with them or to cause more problems?

00:26:37.880 My supposition is that they leaked it to get this idea into the public mind, out into the bloodstream early, so that if they go ahead and do what they are planning to do, they will have, number one, they will have their supporters ready to go and ready for action.

00:26:54.320 And, number two, they want to get into the public mind that, you know, as some of the clips you were playing said, Trump can't win.

00:27:02.320 So, if it looks like he won, he cheated and his victory will be illegitimate.

00:27:07.300 Therefore, whatever we do to get him out of there will be justified.

00:27:10.480 And so to the American people, they want to say, don't blame us.

00:27:14.060 You need to blame him if we if we go ahead and do something like this.

00:27:17.280 So, Niels Gilman, who serves as the vice president of programs at the Chinese Communist Party-linked Bergruen Institute, took to Twitter.

00:27:27.680 He is the founder of the so-called Bipartisan Transition Integrity Project, and he called for you to be executed.

00:27:36.660 In fact, I want to read it.

00:27:37.940 Michael Anton is the Robert Brasilevich of our times and deserves the same fate.

00:27:43.760 I think I'm mispronouncing Robert's name, but this is a remarkable claim from the head of this bipartisan institute.

00:27:57.700 I had to honestly, I'll admit to your listeners, I didn't recognize the name, so I had to look it up.

00:28:03.440 Turns out he was a French intellectual who was accused of writing collaborationist material in World War II and was executed by firing squad in 1945. 0.98

00:28:15.640 So, in other words, the tweet says, not only am I a Nazi, but I deserve to be shot to death. 0.67

00:28:22.500 Of course, lots of people reported this to Twitter, Twitter's terms of services. 0.98

00:28:27.660 Twitter never does anything against the left when they incite violence against the right.

00:28:31.720 If a conservative from a Twitter account so much as jaywalks, their account will be suspended and or banned.

00:28:38.080 Do you remember the old Google slogan, don't be evil?

00:28:42.720 Yeah.

00:28:43.060 Which Google took down after a while.

00:28:44.980 I don't know what to say about Twitter anymore, except this is an evil company.

00:28:48.740 This is a company that countenances violence against its perceived enemies and refuses to do anything about it,

00:28:55.520 while very strictly policing speech of its perceived enemies.

00:28:59.560 I don't know any other word for that, but I am not the first person to have had this treatment given to them,

00:29:06.060 and Twitter has done nothing about it.

00:29:07.980 No, I'm very well aware of that.

00:29:11.600 So, what is it that they are accusing you of here?

00:29:16.220 Because what Robert Vasiljevic was accused of was an intellectual crime, which he was the first,

00:29:24.500 and I think the only one to be executed under that.

00:29:26.500 It was very controversial at the time.

00:29:28.620 An intellectual crime.

00:29:30.180 Not a political crime, not a military crime.

00:29:32.460 Intellectual crime.

00:29:33.900 They executed him because they said he was spreading propaganda and inciting violence.

00:29:39.480 So, the only propaganda that you could be spreading would be if their own words that they leaked out was indeed propaganda.

00:29:52.920 Right?

00:29:53.700 Right.

00:29:54.200 I don't know what could the accusation be.

00:29:56.900 I would welcome anybody involved with the Transition Integrity Project,

00:30:01.040 plus the senior Democrats who have engaged in coup talk.

00:30:05.400 That includes Joe Biden talking about the military dragging the president out of the White House,

00:30:09.240 Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, Bill Clinton.

00:30:11.840 I would welcome any and all senior Democrats and anyone involved with this project to come forward and say,

00:30:17.480 we disavow this kind of talk.

00:30:19.120 We are not calling for this.

00:30:20.860 We want the military to play no role in the upcoming election.

00:30:23.800 We want the votes to be counted fairly, and we want the real winner to be president,

00:30:27.540 even if that means a second term for Donald Trump if he wins the election fairly.

00:30:31.880 I would love to hear them all say that.

00:30:34.220 I would love nothing more, but that's not what they said.

00:30:36.860 And mostly they were silent on my article until finally, out of the blue,

00:30:40.440 this person I've never heard of, who apparently knows some friends of mine,

00:30:43.920 so we have mutual acquaintances, calls for my execution and complete silence from the institutions with which he's affiliated.

00:30:51.120 They apparently have no problem with it either.

00:30:54.380 The Christopher Gruen Institute is what it's called.

00:30:57.080 So the institutions that I'm affiliated with, I work for Hillsdale College,

00:31:01.660 and I'm a senior fellow, as you said, at the Claremont Institute.

00:31:04.280 They're taking this seriously.

00:31:05.780 They're looking at it, and I'm not going to predict necessarily what they're going to do,

00:31:10.500 but I reported this in a number of different directions to institutions I'm familiar with or affiliated with.

00:31:17.120 And in other ways, I'm taking it seriously.

00:31:19.360 I don't think I can afford in a political climate this heated to just brush off this kind of incitement to violence

00:31:26.540 when a multibillion-dollar company like Twitter allows it,

00:31:29.980 and this apparently fairly well-funded institute for which this person works has no problem with it.

00:31:36.740 When you have violent supporters and you say things like this, it is definitely a threat.

00:31:45.920 And I don't think that it's necessarily a threat with the violent supporters.

00:31:50.940 However, I do think it is a threat.

00:31:53.160 If these people get power, that's exactly what's going to happen to people like you and me and everybody else.

00:31:58.820 If you don't stand exactly where they tell you to stand, they will execute you.

00:32:05.780 They will.

00:32:06.240 Well, I really hope it doesn't come to that.

00:32:10.420 That would be about the worst possible outcome I can imagine for America,

00:32:14.440 which is why I get accused of whatever I'm accused of.

00:32:18.780 I'm trying to lower the temperature of politics in America.

00:32:22.540 I think coup talk from anybody is insane, dangerous, and destabilizing.

00:32:27.680 So to accuse me of raising the temperature of politics in America for opposing coup talk is the absolute reverse of the truth.

00:32:35.760 Well, the New York Times, and I think Washington Post did that with me last week.

00:32:41.000 I went over the documents and read the documents from this organization.

00:32:46.140 The New York Times said that I was a conspiracy theorist and that I was fomenting civil war.

00:32:54.700 I don't want civil war.

00:32:56.300 I'm telling you, they will go for civil war if Donald Trump wins and wins fairly.

00:33:04.040 Secondly, it will be civil war.

00:33:07.560 Not by my choosing.

00:33:10.620 Sometimes, you know, sometimes loose talk is just loose talk.

00:33:14.280 And it's entirely possible that Donald Trump could win the election fairly.

00:33:18.500 And people, a lot of people will be very upset and perhaps take to the streets.

00:33:21.820 Yes.

00:33:22.080 But also, perhaps, as they did in 2016, 2017, accept the election without violence.

00:33:28.680 Now, that's not to say that the left accepted it.

00:33:30.840 They also dreamed up the Russia hoax, tried to impeach him, did impeach him, tried to remove him, and lots of other things. 0.53

00:33:36.960 But we didn't have a civil war.

00:33:38.260 We don't necessarily have to have a civil war, even in the event of a Trump victory this time.

00:33:43.140 But the left sure isn't making that outcome less likely with all their talk.

00:33:47.620 Unfortunately, their heated and horrible destructive rhetoric makes it more likely.

00:33:52.100 And I think they really need to cool it, turn down the volume, turn down the heat, turn down the rhetoric, and knock it off.

00:33:58.480 And that's, unfortunately, right now not what they're doing.

00:34:01.440 Michael, stay safe.

00:34:02.580 Thank you so much.

00:34:04.280 Thank you.

00:34:05.120 You bet.

00:34:05.400 Michael Anton, author of The Stakes, former national security official, Trump administration, senior fellow of Claremont Institute, and the man, the, you know, it's amazing to me that an organization like the Transition Project that says that, no, no, no, we're not radicals, we're not radicals, immediately go to an execution for somebody who's speaking out against them.

00:34:34.280 That's the definition of radical.

00:34:37.040 I don't know if you know that. 0.92

00:34:38.480 When somebody disagrees with you, you say they're dangerous and they should be executed for it. 0.53

00:34:44.820 That's a definition of radical.

00:34:47.540 Maybe it's just me.

00:34:51.480 I don't think it is.

00:34:52.960 It's pretty, that's pretty far down that road.

00:34:55.560 And we are supposed to continually deny this.

00:34:59.340 We all see it with our own eyes.

00:35:02.960 There's a, there's a new story from the New York Times today, which has a guy, they, they threatened to burn down his house, which is not all radical, right?

00:35:14.960 Why?

00:35:15.400 Well, maybe he committed a real crime.

00:35:17.040 Well, he, he was flying the American flag.

00:35:20.420 So they decided they were going to burn down his house.

00:35:22.480 Uh, the New York Times headline for it, some protests against police brutality take a more confrontational approach.

00:35:30.240 Well, I would agree.

00:35:31.620 It is more confrontational to burn a guy's house down for having the American flag.

00:35:35.080 Sometimes, sometimes.

00:35:36.400 Yeah.

00:35:37.000 I mean, when is anybody going to be banned from Facebook for saying these are mostly peaceful?

00:35:42.740 They're not.

00:35:43.620 They're not.

00:35:45.100 And they're not going to be banned.

00:35:46.420 They're not going to be banned.

00:35:47.400 Look, here's the utility is saying that it's mostly peaceful.

00:35:49.960 That doesn't mean anything.

00:35:51.480 You want the percentage of minutes of the, of the, of the riots are peaceful.

00:35:57.880 The, the, the, the, the, the majority of, of participants in the riots are peaceful.

00:36:03.960 None of that matters, right?

00:36:06.500 Like, I mean, you've pointed this out a million times there, you know, it wasn't, uh, you know, 75% of all Germans participating in the Nazi regime and murdering people.

00:36:17.460 But it was still pretty notable that we, we can still call it Nazi Germany and feel pretty comfortable. 0.94

00:36:22.260 Yeah.

00:36:22.760 I mean, it's just, it's just like, it doesn't matter when, when, when the, when the bad actors in the group are controlling it, are controlling it.

00:36:29.180 I mean, look, look at what they say about like organizations like the Boy Scouts or the Catholic church.

00:36:34.120 When you find, you know, priests or people who have committed terrible crimes.

00:36:38.840 It's the whole church.

00:36:39.440 It's the whole organization.

00:36:40.420 There's no, no one, one bad apple always, always spoils the whole bunch.

00:36:46.880 Babe.

00:36:47.200 Babe.

00:36:47.780 Yeah.

00:36:47.980 Yeah.

00:36:48.200 That thing.

00:36:48.660 Uh, it's always the way they apply it, uh, to, to organizations they don't like, but when it's black lives matter, they get a pass on everything, everything, everything. 0.94

00:36:59.740 This is why we are asking you in no uncertain terms, please join us at blaze TV.

00:37:08.360 Uh, I, I, I, we were, we were demonetized and, uh, the algorithm was pretty much turned off on us yesterday.

00:37:17.840 You're not going to get any information from the blaze.

00:37:22.720 Um, we have had four months of trying to play their games and jump through hoops.

00:37:28.100 I'm sorry.

00:37:29.040 I'm not going to hire, uh, or stand around while the company hires, you know, a whole team of people to jump through their hoops every day.

00:37:38.360 We have, and when we get it wrong, we correct it.

00:37:42.940 But there are times that they have told us to correct things that it is objectively true.

00:37:49.280 And what they're saying is objectively false and we won't correct it.

00:37:55.000 Well, that gives us two strikes.

00:37:57.520 And the third strike came yesterday on something we changed.

00:38:00.900 It was my, it was my monologue where I said, go ahead, ban this because you have to explain what you banned.

00:38:10.060 Well, they did ban it, but not for anything that I said, but for something that was in the title, which we changed ourselves without a problem.

00:38:19.500 We didn't need them to tell us we changed it ourself.

00:38:22.220 Not good enough, not good enough, not good enough.

00:38:26.500 You will not see blaze stories on your news, your newsfeed now from, um, Facebook.

00:38:33.500 You will not get my stories on Facebook.

00:38:36.660 They are suppressing us.

00:38:38.480 They are destroying us.

00:38:40.460 And this is just the beginning.

00:38:43.020 I'm telling you, this is just the beginning.

00:38:45.360 When this fire rages, they are going to say, we've got to shut down people who disagree with what we believe is true.

00:38:55.760 If I believe that this, this, uh, Michael Anton, uh, I'm sorry, that, uh, Niles Gilman and his group plan this whole thing out, which they say they are.

00:39:09.220 And they are throwing the election.

00:39:12.140 I'm going to say it, but you won't hear it.

00:40:03.920 We try to be careful.

00:40:06.620 We try to be true.

00:40:08.060 We correct our mistakes when we make them, but it's not good enough for the radicals at Facebook.

00:40:16.240 Fine.

00:40:16.980 So be it.

00:40:18.780 Hopefully you'll show up in court, uh, and, uh, we'll settle, uh, then.

00:40:24.360 This is an outrage and just a few weeks in front of the election.

00:40:32.140 Hmm.

00:40:33.340 Hmm.

00:40:35.120 Meanwhile, they don't, they don't apologize for anything.

00:40:39.500 They don't correct anything.

00:40:42.580 We just have to live on their rules.

00:40:44.600 And when you shut a whole, the half of the country out and you refuse to listen to them, 0.55

00:40:51.520 you accuse them of things that the other side is doing.

00:40:55.980 You are calling for a disaster and the disaster will be on your hands and head, not ours.

00:41:04.380 We do not want a civil war.

00:41:07.160 We do not want violence.

00:41:08.800 But we certainly don't want your little socialist, uh, utopia autocratic state either.
