00:00:38.760 some of the questions that need to be asked and answered by our DOJ, FBI, and Secret Service,

00:00:45.240 but also a theory from probably the best sniper in the world living today.

00:00:52.420 He says it's just not possible that this was just incompetence.

00:00:58.140 You'll have to hear it for yourself and make your own decision as we go along.

00:01:03.040 But also there's breaking news today that the court case against Donald Trump with the missing papers that he stole

00:01:14.900 And the judge said the guy who's the special prosecutor was not assigned constitutionally,

00:01:22.820 so that case has now been dropped.

00:01:25.560 Also, Donald Trump makes his pick today for vice president.

00:02:52.020 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:03:06.520 I want to make something really, really clear.

00:03:09.600 The only one to blame for this assassination is the shooter.

00:03:15.620 He's the one who tried to shoot the president with the facts that we know right now.

00:03:21.140 I am bringing up the president and the left's rhetoric for a couple of reasons.

00:03:29.200 Did it play a role?

00:03:30.920 Absolutely.

00:03:32.120 Are they responsible for it?

00:03:34.040 Well, I want to get into that in just a second. 0.87

00:03:36.100 But the rhetoric has been non-stop that this guy is Hitler that has to be eliminated. 0.91

00:03:46.200 He's a Hitlerian. 0.99

00:03:49.080 He is a Fifth Reich. 0.95

00:03:52.700 He is going to round people up just like Hitler did. 0.99

00:03:56.040 And that plays a role in unstable heads, okay?

00:04:00.900 But you can't be responsible for all unstable people that are out there because there's a lot of unstable people.

00:04:08.240 But you can watch your language.

00:04:10.840 Here's what I think really happened with this kid.

00:04:15.720 And I'm just guessing.

00:04:17.420 This kid is being pumped full of all kinds of bad ideas in school.

00:04:23.540 He is being pumped full of all kinds of bad ideas in the media and social media.

00:04:30.040 He is also seeing that you're really kind of a hero if you are part of BLM and you burn a city down. 0.88

00:04:40.980 If you're on the right side, there is no trial for you.

00:04:47.180 There's no problem.

00:04:48.380 In fact, the vice president will bail you out.

00:04:50.960 So he's seeing the lack of enforcement on one side, which makes it appear that that side is right. 1.00

00:05:01.620 And the oldest question known to a man in the 20th century is, 0.99

00:05:07.160 if you could go back and kill baby Hitler, would you? 0.99

00:05:13.120 Implying that you're a hero if you would. 1.00

00:05:16.180 The only one that's responsible is the shooter.

00:05:23.960 But there are other things that influence the minds of unstable people.

00:05:29.840 And I want to bring their rhetoric into play because why are they going after Donald Trump for January 6th?

00:05:39.480 Because he said, go to the Capitol peacefully.

00:05:43.200 Let your voice be heard.

00:05:44.940 They're saying he incited this.

00:05:49.080 Those aren't inciting words. 0.99

00:05:53.060 Inciting words are much more like it's time we put a bullseye on Donald Trump and Donald Trump is Hitler, who has to be eliminated.

00:06:03.940 Now, I don't think that Joe Biden meant the bullseye thing, just like Sarah Palin didn't mean the crosshairs.

00:06:15.080 But if you're going to be consistent, if you're going to be morally consistent, if you're actually outraged by crosshairs, then you should be outraged by bullseye.

00:06:26.320 And if you think somebody's rhetoric can actually cause people to go to the Capitol and tear it apart, well, then you should be concerned about the rhetoric of this guy's Hitler that has to be eliminated.

00:06:41.720 And if you want to be morally consistent because you're trying that guy.

00:06:48.860 Shouldn't you be trying this president as well?

00:06:53.000 Is anybody on the left beginning to see the problems with the cases that they have brought?

00:07:03.240 So here's what I hope the president would say.

00:07:11.100 First of all, I don't think I've seen a bigger act of courage in my lifetime from a president to stand up and insist that he can look at the crowd.

00:07:26.580 Make an opening for me so I can see the crowd and to raise his fist and say, fight.

00:07:34.300 Now, I know a lot of people on the left, they want to say, well, see, he's going for violence.

00:07:39.580 No.

00:07:41.180 Fight for what you believe in.

00:07:43.500 Stop being mealy mouthed about it.

00:07:46.660 Stand up.

00:07:48.760 Stand up.

00:07:50.440 Fight at the ballot box.

00:07:52.300 Stand up and stop just being plowed under by lies.

00:08:01.840 Fight. 0.95

00:08:03.460 You're darn right. 0.97

00:08:05.200 You're darn right. 0.91

00:08:07.540 I thought it was an amazing moment.

00:08:11.080 However, I was really happy to read what he said.

00:08:16.060 He's going to Milwaukee.

00:08:17.260 See, yet another amazing, think about what it feels like to be shot at and almost killed.

00:08:29.520 How long would it take before you could go out in public again?

00:08:33.080 He went last night till Milwaukee, which is significant.

00:08:39.740 We'll tell you why here in a little while.

00:08:41.820 He goes to Milwaukee and he's on the ground and he says he's changing the theme of the convention that's happening this week.

00:08:52.620 He's changing it to unity.

00:08:57.120 To peace.

00:08:58.280 Peace.

00:09:03.080 I would hope the president will come out and say something along the lines of we're standing here today because America is resilient.

00:09:15.220 A few days ago, somebody tried to kill me.

00:09:19.640 But by God's grace, that bully bullet only grazed me.

00:09:23.860 But it is a stark reminder of the divisions and the anger that we see today.

00:09:33.140 And we're at a critical moment.

00:09:35.740 And when you have a bullet whiz by your head, there's two ways to go.

00:09:42.500 One is vengeance and the other is unity.

00:09:46.400 And our nation is divided.

00:09:49.240 Trust is low.

00:09:50.960 In our neighborhoods, in the media, everywhere.

00:09:55.460 But let me echo the words of RFK.

00:10:01.140 When Martin Luther King was shot.

00:10:04.100 What we need in the United States is not division.

00:10:07.400 What we need in the United States is not hatred.

00:10:09.640 What we need in the United States is not violence or lawlessness.

00:10:14.160 But it is love and wisdom and compassion toward one another.

00:10:19.780 America is the land of the underdog, of the little guy.

00:10:23.700 And we've always been that way.

00:10:26.780 But when I say fight, what I mean is the little guy needs to rise up.

00:10:33.100 Make sure your voice is heard.

00:10:35.160 To be not afraid.

00:10:36.760 We need to fight, but not with violence.

00:10:40.220 We fight with our words.

00:10:42.940 We fight on the streets with our words and with our actions.

00:10:48.120 And we need to stand up and show what America really means.

00:10:52.620 To stand up against the fear and intimidation.

00:10:57.320 Remember, America was built on the idea that all men and women are created equal.

00:11:02.980 With unalienable rights.

00:11:04.680 Life, liberty, pursuit of happiness.

00:11:06.120 They are not just words.

00:11:08.760 They are the foundation of this country.

00:11:14.400 Beginning today, let's show the rest of the world what it means to be American.

00:11:22.060 If you believe that America is an exceptional place,

00:11:26.580 then it's the people that make it that way.

00:11:29.960 Every voice matters.

00:11:35.220 Every citizen matters.

00:11:38.060 Stand up for the principles in our Bill of Rights.

00:11:42.340 Defend the truth with integrity and courage.

00:11:45.880 Forgive others without compromising our values.

00:11:49.520 I would hope the president would say, join me now in a different fight.

00:11:56.520 Not with guns, but with ideas.

00:11:58.660 Not with hatred, but with understanding.

00:12:02.220 To begin to write a new chapter in our history.

00:12:05.840 Let's rise above our differences and find our e pluribus unum.

00:12:12.260 Our common ground again.

00:12:15.540 Because I do believe that all Americans should not be afraid of their commander-in-chief.

00:12:23.720 If you are afraid of the president, either on the right or the left,

00:12:29.680 that is showing you and screaming at you,

00:12:33.820 the power in the Oval Office is too great.

00:12:37.340 And our republic is out of balance.

00:12:43.760 And that's what Project 2025 is all about.

00:12:47.720 That's what I'm going to try to do.

00:12:50.080 That's what the Supreme Court is doing.

00:12:52.840 They are not empowering the seat of the presidency.

00:12:57.640 I'm a president that is going to try to reduce the power of the presidency.

00:13:02.520 We're the United States of America, and we're strong.

00:13:07.500 We're brave.

00:13:08.200 We're compassionate.

00:13:10.760 But it's time to rise to the challenge

00:13:13.360 and fight with the spirit that has always guided us.

00:13:17.880 Let's be the light in dark times.

00:13:21.300 Let's stand together shoulder to shoulder.

00:13:24.200 We're not a nation divided by fear.

00:13:27.300 We need to be a nation that is united by hope.

00:13:30.900 This is our time to prove the American dream is alive and well.

00:13:43.120 That's what I hope the president says.

00:13:48.400 We already know the difference between the policies.

00:13:52.980 We know for the first time in my lifetime,

00:13:56.900 we have two presidents,

00:13:58.960 two administrations we can A, B compare.

00:14:02.280 It's not like, well, will he do this?

00:14:04.360 We know what he did last time.

00:14:06.900 We know what Joe Biden has done this time.

00:14:14.980 The winning message will be the message

00:14:17.540 that most Americans want to hear.

00:14:22.820 This has got to stop.

00:14:24.860 And it's not going to stop by me forcing

00:14:27.380 half the country to shut up.

00:14:30.660 It's not going to stop by them forcing the other half 1.00

00:14:33.620 to shut up. 1.00

00:14:36.520 It's going to happen because a leader stands up

00:14:39.440 and says enough is enough

00:14:41.480 and can convince the American people

00:14:47.700 can reverse all of the damage

00:14:54.140 that the elites in our colleges and institutions

00:14:57.260 and our media has done

00:15:00.040 over the last 20 years

00:15:03.180 to convince us that we're a bad people,

00:15:05.960 that we're a racist people.

00:15:10.860 We've done some bad things,

00:15:12.900 but usually the worst things we do

00:15:15.180 are led by our own government.

00:15:20.560 And I've never believed the government was America.

00:15:24.160 I've always believed the citizens were.

00:15:27.240 The citizens were.

00:15:33.180 There are a couple of things

00:15:36.860 that could come our way

00:15:40.680 that we should be aware of.

00:15:43.260 But the most important thing

00:15:45.460 is that you reach out

00:15:48.280 to those who think differently

00:15:50.520 and you show them

00:15:52.900 we are not the neo-Nazi fascist

00:15:57.120 that they have been groomed to believe.

00:16:00.180 It is important today

00:16:04.060 that we all reach out to somebody

00:16:06.020 that doesn't agree with us

00:16:07.720 that is a friend.

00:16:10.100 Just say,

00:16:10.820 how are you doing today?

00:16:12.800 Yeah, I know.

00:16:14.640 Our guy was shot.

00:16:17.180 But I want you to know

00:16:18.280 I don't hold you responsible for that.

00:16:23.220 I'm sure you were just as offended as I was.

00:16:27.240 If they weren't, move on.

00:16:30.180 But most likely

00:16:31.840 any decent American

00:16:33.640 was horrified

00:16:35.800 by what they saw

00:16:37.280 over the weekend.

00:16:40.740 Sleeping Beauty laid down for a nap.

00:16:43.460 You know,

00:16:43.860 she slept for years 1.00

00:16:45.520 before some jerk came along 1.00

00:16:47.100 and woke her up 1.00

00:16:47.880 with a physical assault.

00:16:49.020 Honestly.

00:16:50.040 Honestly.

00:16:50.820 I mean, I learned that

00:16:51.540 from the new Disney telling of that story.

00:16:53.900 It's all fine and dandy

00:16:54.840 for Sleeping Beauty,

00:16:55.920 but, you know,

00:16:57.160 where's that evil chick 1.00

00:16:58.140 with the poison spindle

00:16:59.200 when I can't get some sleep?

00:17:00.740 You know what I mean?

00:17:01.540 I'm laying up in bed

00:17:02.300 and I'm like,

00:17:02.740 where is she? 0.64

00:17:04.420 Come on with your evil spindle. 1.00

00:17:05.980 I dare you.

00:17:07.320 Story of my life.

00:17:09.960 But in another way,

00:17:11.100 I mean,

00:17:11.560 even my wife,

00:17:12.240 I don't think,

00:17:12.720 would wake me up with a kiss,

00:17:13.800 so I don't know

00:17:14.660 she'll be asleep.

00:17:15.180 There's another way

00:17:17.100 that you can get a good night's sleep

00:17:19.400 and wake up the next morning

00:17:21.740 feeling refreshed,

00:17:55.860 Now back to the podcast.

00:17:58.940 You're listening to the best

00:18:00.640 of the Glenn Beck program.

00:18:02.660 Uh, Stu,

00:18:04.540 give me the breaking news

00:18:06.320 about Jack Smith.

00:18:08.040 Well, according to Judge Cannon,

00:18:10.180 this is the judge

00:18:11.040 in the case in Florida,

00:18:13.100 his appointment

00:18:14.040 is unconstitutional

00:18:15.860 and the classified documents case

00:18:19.380 has been dismissed.

00:18:21.580 Now, this will surely be challenged,

00:18:24.160 of course,

00:18:25.220 but a massive development.

00:18:27.420 How do you,

00:18:28.060 how do you challenge that?

00:18:30.500 He was not appointed

00:18:32.460 in the correct way.

00:18:34.640 I mean,

00:18:35.520 he's not a special prosecutor.

00:18:38.080 You cannot just make up the rules

00:18:41.060 as you go along.

00:18:42.500 This is great.

00:18:44.080 I mean,

00:18:44.240 I was really upset

00:18:45.040 about Alec Baldwin

00:18:46.220 because I have heard things

00:18:48.960 from people that were on the set

00:18:50.840 that,

00:18:51.920 that would lead one

00:18:53.700 to believe that

00:18:54.640 Alec Baldwin

00:18:55.880 should go to jail

00:18:57.220 or be held responsible

00:18:58.380 for the shooting

00:18:59.260 on his film.

00:19:00.500 However,

00:19:02.460 the prosecution

00:19:03.380 was withholding evidence

00:19:06.480 from his defense

00:19:07.820 and so the judge dismissed it.

00:19:10.680 Well, I'm pissed

00:19:11.360 at the prosecution,

00:19:12.620 but the judge

00:19:13.760 did the right thing.

00:19:15.440 You do not cut corners

00:19:16.900 when it comes

00:19:17.640 to people's rights.

00:19:19.520 All right,

00:19:20.160 let me go to Selena Zito

00:19:21.340 who was in Pennsylvania

00:19:23.440 this weekend

00:19:24.140 with the president

00:19:25.180 and she was about

00:19:28.600 four feet away.

00:19:29.740 Selena,

00:19:30.320 I'm glad you're safe.

00:19:32.420 Thank you so much, Glenn.

00:19:36.320 So tell me the story.

00:19:38.120 What,

00:19:38.380 what did you see?

00:19:39.620 What happened?

00:19:41.400 Well,

00:19:41.900 I think the story

00:19:42.640 begins with,

00:19:44.180 I was scheduled

00:19:45.260 to fly

00:19:46.900 with the president

00:19:47.740 along with my daughter

00:19:48.880 and son-in-law

00:19:49.700 to do an extensive interview

00:19:51.400 from flying

00:19:52.620 from Butler, Pennsylvania

00:19:53.920 to Bedminster

00:19:56.060 after the rally.

00:19:57.820 However,

00:19:58.560 a few minutes

00:19:59.420 before he was set

00:20:00.420 to speak,

00:20:01.460 their advance team

00:20:02.320 came back

00:20:02.920 and grabbed myself,

00:20:04.180 my daughter,

00:20:04.700 photojournalist,

00:20:05.600 my son-in-law

00:20:06.300 and said,

00:20:07.780 the president wants

00:20:08.320 to say hi to you.

00:20:09.680 So they take us

00:20:11.140 back behind the stage

00:20:13.120 into a holding room

00:20:14.340 and he's there

00:20:15.320 with several

00:20:16.180 law enforcement people.

00:20:17.780 They're taking pictures,

00:20:19.380 you know,

00:20:19.640 shaking hands.

00:20:20.720 It's a very happy place

00:20:23.080 in this holding area

00:20:24.440 and he sees me,

00:20:26.060 he said,

00:20:26.300 hey,

00:20:26.680 Selena,

00:20:27.340 oh my gosh,

00:20:27.800 it's so great

00:20:28.300 to see you.

00:20:29.360 Really,

00:20:29.900 really looking forward

00:20:30.840 to talking about

00:20:31.760 Pennsylvania

00:20:32.360 and talking about,

00:20:33.860 you know,

00:20:35.560 you're doing the interview.

00:20:37.300 I left the room

00:20:38.460 and because we were

00:20:40.020 behind the stage,

00:20:41.600 they told us

00:20:42.480 you're going to just

00:20:43.060 have to go

00:20:43.660 into the bumper

00:20:44.480 because we need

00:20:45.680 to get you

00:20:46.600 to the motorcade

00:20:48.060 because you're going

00:20:49.420 to leave

00:20:50.400 with the president

00:20:51.100 right after the rally.

00:20:54.120 So I was in the bumper.

00:20:55.760 It's a well

00:20:56.480 that goes around

00:20:57.380 the stage

00:20:58.160 that separates yourself,

00:21:00.220 the speaker,

00:21:01.700 the president

00:21:02.160 from the audience

00:21:03.080 and it gives the ability

00:21:04.260 for photojournalists,

00:21:05.480 thank goodness,

00:21:06.140 because the amazing work

00:21:07.880 that they did

00:21:08.360 covering it

00:21:09.200 and chronicling it

00:21:12.160 and I was,

00:21:13.860 and my daughter

00:21:14.560 has great photos too

00:21:16.160 and we were to his left

00:21:18.760 and Trump did something

00:21:21.000 that he never does.

00:21:23.140 I've covered his rallies forever.

00:21:25.760 He never turns his neck

00:21:27.420 either way.

00:21:28.640 Now he might turn his body

00:21:30.400 but he never turns his neck.

00:21:33.360 He never looks

00:21:34.100 the other direction.

00:21:35.420 He also did something

00:21:36.560 he never did

00:21:37.420 and he got,

00:21:38.160 he became like

00:21:39.380 his Ross Perot moment

00:21:40.920 and he brought a chart out

00:21:42.220 and the chart had

00:21:44.340 on the sort of

00:21:47.120 the amount

00:21:47.680 of illegal immigrants 0.94

00:21:48.920 that have crossed

00:21:49.600 and he was pointing

00:21:50.380 to the low point

00:21:52.160 which was when

00:21:52.740 he was president

00:21:53.560 when I heard

00:21:54.900 pop, pop, pop.

00:21:57.420 He grabs his face.

00:21:59.080 I see the blood

00:22:00.100 on his face.

00:22:01.340 He immediately

00:22:02.320 gets down

00:22:03.540 in a protective posture.

00:22:06.100 He is surrounded

00:22:07.060 as he is being surrounded

00:22:09.480 by the law enforcement.

00:22:12.480 I hear pop, pop,

00:22:14.160 pop, pop, pop.

00:22:15.400 Again,

00:22:16.300 this sounded to me

00:22:18.160 like a different caliber,

00:22:20.320 not the same gun

00:22:22.280 that was first used

00:22:24.060 and I watched them chat.

00:22:28.640 You know,

00:22:28.880 I can hear them talking.

00:22:30.620 I can hear the chatter

00:22:31.560 between them.

00:22:32.360 I'm right there

00:22:33.380 and at one point

00:22:36.000 they say

00:22:36.500 it's time to get,

00:22:37.240 you know,

00:22:37.400 we're going to go.

00:22:38.100 We're going to go

00:22:38.640 and I hear the president

00:22:41.380 say I got to get

00:22:42.180 my shoe, guys.

00:22:44.180 I'm paraphrasing,

00:22:45.420 but apparently

00:22:46.340 someone had knocked

00:22:47.540 his shoe off

00:22:48.260 when they put him

00:22:49.120 in a protective stance

00:22:50.300 and he rises up

00:22:53.020 and he lifts his hand

00:22:54.900 and he says,

00:22:55.920 fight.

00:22:56.380 I can hear him say

00:22:57.020 fight maybe five times

00:22:58.940 and he projects it

00:23:01.480 out to the crowd.

00:23:02.960 then they come past me.

00:23:06.440 I'm on the ground

00:23:07.200 at this point

00:23:08.260 and he does not have

00:23:12.160 his hat on,

00:23:14.240 but he,

00:23:15.140 someone has his hat

00:23:17.120 and it just sort of,

00:23:18.740 it was almost like

00:23:19.440 slow motion

00:23:20.180 just fell right

00:23:21.440 in front of me

00:23:22.240 and then they take him

00:23:24.180 off to the motor,

00:23:25.120 motorcade.

00:23:25.920 As,

00:23:26.380 as he goes that way,

00:23:27.860 I see people

00:23:29.020 in the,

00:23:29.600 in the VIP section,

00:23:31.300 the bleachers,

00:23:32.880 someone is injured

00:23:33.900 and people are rushing

00:23:35.040 towards them.

00:23:36.580 Within minutes,

00:23:37.440 they take us

00:23:38.300 out of the bumper

00:23:39.840 and place us

00:23:41.000 into a holding area.

00:23:42.280 I think because

00:23:43.560 they were worried

00:23:44.420 that we were okay.

00:23:45.680 It was very unclear

00:23:46.520 if,

00:23:47.640 if any of the

00:23:48.400 photojournalists,

00:23:49.340 you know,

00:23:49.820 were hit or hurt

00:23:51.060 and,

00:23:52.300 so that's,

00:23:54.040 that's what I saw.

00:23:54.840 Did,

00:23:56.660 did you get on the plane

00:23:57.960 then with the president

00:23:59.380 afterwards?

00:24:00.980 No,

00:24:01.560 but here's how I got

00:24:03.060 the interview with him.

00:24:04.440 So the next morning

00:24:05.740 and it was early,

00:24:07.200 like yesterday,

00:24:08.400 that was yesterday,

00:24:09.280 my God,

00:24:09.880 the sense of time

00:24:10.860 is bizarre

00:24:11.620 at this moment.

00:24:13.020 He calls me early

00:24:14.060 yesterday morning

00:24:15.060 and,

00:24:16.280 and he said,

00:24:16.900 Selena,

00:24:17.540 are you and your daughter

00:24:19.520 Shannon

00:24:20.040 and your son-in-law

00:24:21.520 Michael okay?

00:24:22.340 And I really want

00:24:24.620 to apologize

00:24:25.200 for not being allowed

00:24:26.700 to do that

00:24:27.440 or not being able

00:24:28.620 to do that interview

00:24:29.580 with you.

00:24:30.740 And I said,

00:24:32.080 Mr. President,

00:24:33.900 you were shot.

00:24:34.660 I feel like we're good.

00:24:37.620 I feel like we're good.

00:24:40.460 And so we talked

00:24:41.220 for a little bit.

00:24:41.440 What did he say to you?

00:24:44.820 He just,

00:24:45.860 well,

00:24:46.340 you know,

00:24:46.740 he talked for a while.

00:24:48.700 He called me back

00:24:49.440 a couple different times.

00:24:50.620 We eventually

00:24:51.120 did an interview

00:24:52.160 but the thrust

00:24:53.940 of,

00:24:54.820 of,

00:24:55.600 of his emotion

00:24:56.980 was someone

00:24:58.100 who is feeling

00:24:59.360 incredibly thankful

00:25:01.460 as someone

00:25:02.820 that recognizes

00:25:04.160 that that was

00:25:06.080 an act of God.

00:25:08.020 It was a divine intervention

00:25:09.960 because he never does

00:25:11.900 what he did

00:25:12.760 when he did

00:25:13.580 and the minute,

00:25:14.900 the second

00:25:15.400 that he made that decision.

00:25:17.080 He doesn't know

00:25:17.980 why he made that decision.

00:25:19.800 He always turns his body,

00:25:21.740 which was,

00:25:22.580 had he done that,

00:25:23.820 he still would have been shot.

00:25:25.700 So whether he was facing forward

00:25:27.340 or facing to the side

00:25:29.300 but full body,

00:25:30.660 he still would have been shot 0.99

00:25:31.840 in the head. 0.76

00:25:33.640 But because he turned his neck,

00:25:36.400 which is something

00:25:37.600 he never does.

00:25:38.800 If you've ever been

00:25:40.040 to a Trump rally,

00:25:41.020 it's a very transactional

00:25:43.020 event

00:25:45.040 between him

00:25:46.400 and the people

00:25:47.060 that are there.

00:25:47.800 and so he always

00:25:49.680 is projecting

00:25:50.500 towards them.

00:25:51.940 He never looks

00:25:52.660 away from them.

00:25:55.640 And,

00:25:56.240 and,

00:25:56.420 and he talked

00:25:57.320 just about,

00:25:58.820 you know,

00:25:59.140 he said,

00:25:59.580 I had a

00:26:00.300 palm dinger

00:26:01.420 of a speech

00:26:02.700 I was going to give.

00:26:04.040 Those exact words.

00:26:05.740 He said,

00:26:06.400 but,

00:26:06.880 you know,

00:26:07.980 it's important

00:26:08.600 to meet the moment.

00:26:09.700 I understand,

00:26:11.040 understand

00:26:12.020 knowing

00:26:12.940 that

00:26:13.840 I was saved

00:26:14.940 and there is

00:26:17.060 a purpose

00:26:17.940 there

00:26:18.520 and

00:26:19.960 that

00:26:20.560 I need to meet

00:26:21.840 that purpose,

00:26:23.480 that moment.

00:26:24.860 And he said

00:26:25.600 he did,

00:26:26.600 when he stood up

00:26:28.100 and raised his fist,

00:26:29.780 he said it wasn't

00:26:30.460 about him.

00:26:31.640 He said,

00:26:32.100 American presidents

00:26:33.360 represent not themselves.

00:26:35.780 They represent

00:26:36.860 the country.

00:26:37.800 To me,

00:26:38.600 it was incredibly

00:26:39.680 important

00:26:40.500 to convey

00:26:41.540 that the country

00:26:42.380 is okay,

00:26:43.260 that we are okay.

00:26:44.940 So,

00:26:48.620 Selina,

00:26:50.040 he,

00:26:50.960 when you say

00:26:52.040 he recognized

00:26:53.140 this moment,

00:26:54.740 it feels like

00:26:56.280 this could be

00:26:57.360 transformative

00:26:58.220 in his life,

00:27:00.680 but also his life

00:27:02.200 as a politician.

00:27:03.780 Did you get that sense?

00:27:05.320 And when he was

00:27:06.560 talking about

00:27:07.220 going to Wisconsin,

00:27:08.780 he said that

00:27:10.400 he's changing

00:27:11.700 the theme of it.

00:27:12.720 He's not going to go after

00:27:13.840 Biden,

00:27:15.060 but he's going to go

00:27:15.860 after unity.

00:27:18.220 Do you think

00:27:19.120 this is transformative?

00:27:21.720 Absolutely.

00:27:22.960 You know,

00:27:23.600 what is interesting

00:27:24.660 to me

00:27:25.380 as someone

00:27:26.020 who has covered him

00:27:27.320 for over nine years

00:27:28.540 and has really

00:27:30.560 understood

00:27:31.180 the Trump

00:27:32.660 voter,

00:27:34.720 mainly because of

00:27:35.900 my geographical

00:27:36.700 and emotional

00:27:37.540 location

00:27:38.840 location

00:27:39.880 in the

00:27:41.420 Appalachian

00:27:42.980 Midwest?

00:27:45.720 You know,

00:27:46.940 people have turned

00:27:48.240 Make America Great

00:27:49.600 into a sort of

00:27:51.100 slang term,

00:27:52.340 a derogatory term,

00:27:53.700 they call it MAGA.

00:27:55.160 But Make America Great,

00:27:57.080 again,

00:27:57.440 is an aspirational

00:27:58.960 sentiment.

00:28:00.840 sentiment.

00:28:03.080 And I think

00:28:05.220 he understands

00:28:06.280 that he is now

00:28:07.700 transformed

00:28:08.860 to

00:28:10.300 being in a more

00:28:12.220 aspirational moment

00:28:13.720 that we need

00:28:16.160 as a country

00:28:16.980 to be part of

00:28:18.320 something bigger

00:28:19.140 than ourselves.

00:28:19.920 What is your

00:28:24.120 take on

00:28:25.280 the

00:28:26.820 security,

00:28:28.580 the lack

00:28:29.300 of

00:28:30.620 securing

00:28:32.420 the president?

00:28:33.820 It was

00:28:34.400 I mean,

00:28:36.480 if he would 0.98

00:28:37.700 have been killed, 0.95

00:28:39.080 this would have 0.95

00:28:39.760 been the

00:28:40.460 JFK assassination

00:28:41.660 times a thousand

00:28:43.180 when it comes

00:28:44.900 to conspiracy

00:28:45.640 theories.

00:28:46.220 Why wasn't

00:28:46.660 this covered?

00:28:47.380 Why wasn't

00:28:47.820 this covered?

00:28:48.300 Why did they

00:28:48.680 wait so long

00:28:49.280 to shoot the 0.99

00:28:49.800 guy? 0.95

00:28:50.360 I mean,

00:28:51.620 what are your

00:28:52.620 thoughts on that?

00:28:53.660 Do you have

00:28:54.200 any?

00:28:55.680 Well,

00:28:56.980 I didn't

00:28:57.660 have,

00:28:58.600 in the

00:28:59.240 moment,

00:29:00.360 with the

00:29:00.780 security I

00:29:01.720 saw,

00:29:02.600 was immediate

00:29:03.620 and protective

00:29:04.840 because they

00:29:07.500 surrounded him.

00:29:08.320 They were on

00:29:08.680 top of him.

00:29:10.280 They put

00:29:11.560 their bodies

00:29:12.500 all around

00:29:14.180 him.

00:29:16.160 And there

00:29:16.620 were immediately

00:29:17.540 men with

00:29:18.960 really big

00:29:19.700 guns

00:29:20.280 standing over

00:29:21.560 me

00:29:22.060 because

00:29:23.680 they

00:29:24.840 surround,

00:29:25.600 I don't

00:29:25.880 think that's

00:29:26.720 seen as

00:29:27.900 much in

00:29:28.380 some of

00:29:28.660 the video

00:29:29.120 clips,

00:29:30.340 but that

00:29:30.660 whole perimeter,

00:29:32.740 there were,

00:29:33.540 I mean,

00:29:34.200 they were

00:29:34.680 aiming it,

00:29:36.440 they were

00:29:37.560 there protecting

00:29:38.760 him.

00:29:40.200 They were

00:29:40.960 there.

00:29:41.320 but,

00:29:42.700 having said

00:29:43.480 that,

00:29:45.820 I think

00:29:46.400 the

00:29:48.000 preparation,

00:29:49.280 it appears

00:29:50.320 to be that

00:29:51.120 the preparation

00:29:51.900 was,

00:29:53.060 had many

00:29:53.620 holes and

00:29:54.680 was very

00:29:55.120 faulty.

00:29:56.100 You know,

00:29:56.340 this is

00:29:56.720 western

00:29:57.100 Pennsylvania.

00:29:58.320 Not only

00:29:58.960 were there

00:29:59.340 outbuildings

00:30:00.320 that were

00:30:00.780 not even

00:30:01.820 two football

00:30:03.640 fields away,

00:30:04.640 that were not

00:30:05.340 in the

00:30:05.740 perimeter,

00:30:06.640 there's also

00:30:07.340 then wooded

00:30:08.160 areas around it.

00:30:09.000 western

00:30:09.260 Pennsylvania is

00:30:09.940 filled with

00:30:10.440 crops of

00:30:10.900 trees everywhere.

00:30:12.600 You know,

00:30:13.020 so when you

00:30:14.120 look at that,

00:30:15.420 you wonder,

00:30:16.740 huh,

00:30:17.760 that should

00:30:19.120 have been

00:30:19.360 secured.

00:30:20.120 Somebody could

00:30:20.500 have been

00:30:20.700 in those

00:30:21.040 trees.

00:30:24.260 Well,

00:30:24.860 they usually

00:30:25.500 will take

00:30:26.300 something and

00:30:27.060 they will

00:30:27.600 block the 0.99

00:30:28.900 view from

00:30:29.740 those areas.

00:30:30.880 If they

00:30:31.080 can't secure

00:30:31.840 it,

00:30:32.540 they'll put

00:30:33.120 a big sign

00:30:34.680 or something

00:30:35.380 in the way

00:30:36.460 so if

00:30:37.240 somebody were

00:30:37.720 in the woods

00:30:38.220 or on that,

00:30:39.000 on that

00:30:40.060 rooftop,

00:30:40.900 they wouldn't

00:30:41.500 have view

00:30:42.180 of the

00:30:42.520 stage and

00:30:42.960 that wasn't

00:30:43.480 done either

00:30:44.880 for some

00:30:45.660 unknown reason.

00:30:47.760 No,

00:30:48.400 and the

00:30:48.740 assumption I

00:30:49.740 had going

00:30:50.500 in as I'm

00:30:51.280 walking in

00:30:52.160 at around

00:30:52.640 noon,

00:30:54.000 that those

00:30:54.660 outbuildings,

00:30:55.580 this is a

00:30:56.040 farm show

00:30:56.800 complex.

00:30:58.120 So in a

00:30:58.640 farm show

00:30:59.140 complex,

00:30:59.660 there's always

00:31:00.320 these big

00:31:00.940 sheds

00:31:02.260 that,

00:31:03.200 you know,

00:31:04.260 have where

00:31:04.720 the livestock

00:31:05.280 are,

00:31:06.100 you know,

00:31:06.440 for these

00:31:07.040 big farm

00:31:07.760 events,

00:31:08.300 farm events.

00:31:09.000 Farm shows

00:31:09.560 are big

00:31:10.120 deals in

00:31:10.900 the Great

00:31:13.200 Lakes

00:31:13.480 Midwest.

00:31:14.920 And I

00:31:16.560 made the

00:31:17.140 assumption

00:31:17.600 that they

00:31:18.520 were,

00:31:19.760 along with

00:31:20.160 the buildings

00:31:20.660 right behind

00:31:21.460 them,

00:31:22.160 which was

00:31:22.680 that business

00:31:23.380 that he

00:31:23.820 climbed onto,

00:31:25.100 I assumed

00:31:25.780 they were

00:31:26.060 part of

00:31:26.800 the

00:31:27.280 protective

00:31:28.640 area,

00:31:29.900 but now

00:31:31.400 we're finding

00:31:31.900 out,

00:31:32.500 obviously,

00:31:33.060 they were

00:31:33.580 not.

00:31:33.880 they were

00:31:35.020 not.

00:31:36.000 Selina,

00:31:36.400 I know

00:31:36.600 you have

00:31:36.880 to run.

00:31:37.320 Thank you

00:31:37.680 so much

00:31:37.980 for making

00:31:38.300 time for

00:31:38.760 us today,

00:31:39.340 and I'm

00:31:39.960 glad that

00:31:40.500 you're

00:31:40.720 well and

00:31:41.500 that things

00:31:41.980 worked out

00:31:42.500 the way

00:31:42.940 they did

00:31:43.480 over the

00:31:44.180 weekend.

00:31:44.540 Thank you

00:31:44.820 so much,

00:31:45.220 Selina.

00:31:45.720 God bless.

00:31:46.200 The best

00:31:48.680 of the

00:31:48.940 Glenn Beck

00:31:49.320 program.

00:31:50.420 Welcome to

00:31:51.220 the Glenn Beck

00:31:51.980 program,

00:31:52.340 and we say

00:31:53.000 hello now to

00:31:53.720 Dallas Alexander.

00:31:55.400 He is a

00:31:55.880 retired Canadian

00:31:56.880 Special Forces

00:31:57.820 sniper.

00:31:58.720 He actually

00:31:59.460 holds the

00:32:00.280 record for

00:32:01.220 the longest

00:32:02.040 kill,

00:32:03.600 and that is

00:32:04.120 at 2.1

00:32:05.260 miles,

00:32:06.600 which is

00:32:07.500 remarkable.

00:32:08.820 Just the

00:32:09.140 amount of

00:32:09.560 math involved

00:32:11.160 in that just

00:32:12.000 hurts my

00:32:12.620 head.

00:32:13.460 Dallas,

00:32:14.100 welcome to

00:32:14.440 the program.

00:32:16.200 Hey, thanks

00:32:17.180 for having

00:32:17.560 me.

00:32:19.120 You bet.

00:32:19.860 So you

00:32:20.620 have said

00:32:21.480 some pretty

00:32:23.040 controversial

00:32:23.700 things, and

00:32:24.880 I wanted to

00:32:26.760 hear it from

00:32:27.280 the horse's

00:32:27.880 mouth, because 0.98

00:32:28.500 you do have

00:32:29.340 experience in

00:32:30.540 this.

00:32:31.500 You don't

00:32:32.160 believe that

00:32:32.780 this was just

00:32:33.720 incompetence on

00:32:35.740 the Secret

00:32:36.160 Services side?

00:32:39.340 Yeah, that's

00:32:40.260 right.

00:32:42.860 Can you make

00:32:43.780 the case?

00:32:45.380 Yeah, I

00:32:46.020 think, like

00:32:47.760 you said, I

00:32:48.200 have some

00:32:49.020 experience.

00:32:50.760 I did that

00:32:51.780 job for a

00:32:52.320 long time,

00:32:53.180 close protection

00:32:53.860 and protecting

00:32:55.640 VIPs and

00:32:56.440 stuff, up to

00:32:57.140 including our

00:32:59.280 prime minister in

00:33:00.000 Canada was 0.81

00:33:00.680 part of my

00:33:01.140 job.

00:33:03.140 And I

00:33:04.060 think looking

00:33:04.700 at the

00:33:05.440 situation

00:33:06.040 yesterday, or

00:33:07.580 the day before

00:33:08.040 rather,

00:33:10.080 any amount

00:33:12.560 of tactical

00:33:13.260 professional,

00:33:13.880 and I've

00:33:14.480 seen the

00:33:14.780 videos and

00:33:15.300 there was

00:33:15.640 I don't

00:33:16.420 know how

00:33:16.720 many on

00:33:17.140 the ground

00:33:17.560 from police

00:33:19.640 and Secret

00:33:20.400 Service, and

00:33:21.120 there was too

00:33:22.920 many people

00:33:23.500 there to

00:33:24.640 not have

00:33:26.100 the most

00:33:26.520 obvious

00:33:27.000 position

00:33:27.620 covered.

00:33:28.560 like you, I

00:33:30.140 said this

00:33:30.560 before, children

00:33:31.640 who play

00:33:32.220 Call of Duty

00:33:32.920 or go to

00:33:33.980 paintball would

00:33:35.060 know that that

00:33:35.560 roof is the

00:33:36.080 most important

00:33:36.720 position, and

00:33:38.620 that building is

00:33:39.760 one of the most

00:33:40.180 important buildings

00:33:40.840 to secure,

00:33:42.100 period.

00:33:42.480 like, just

00:33:44.460 not picking that

00:33:46.060 up is

00:33:46.600 impossible.

00:33:50.040 It seems

00:33:51.020 impossible to

00:33:51.860 me, but

00:33:53.380 you know,

00:33:53.860 sometimes the

00:33:54.520 impossible happens

00:33:55.560 just through

00:33:56.180 sheer incompetence.

00:33:58.280 So what are

00:33:59.240 you, in

00:34:02.020 your world

00:34:03.060 where you

00:34:03.520 are, you're

00:34:05.140 just war 0.68

00:34:05.660 gaming this,

00:34:06.900 I think it's

00:34:07.900 important for

00:34:08.540 people to know

00:34:09.120 there's no

00:34:09.640 evidence of

00:34:10.420 anything yet,

00:34:11.360 accept questions,

00:34:12.600 and what the

00:34:13.160 question Dallas

00:34:13.880 just brought up

00:34:14.700 is 100%

00:34:17.000 valid and

00:34:18.780 needs to be

00:34:19.660 answered to

00:34:20.720 satisfactory.

00:34:25.280 We have to

00:34:26.600 know why they

00:34:27.320 weren't watching

00:34:27.960 that if they

00:34:28.660 weren't.

00:34:29.540 So what do

00:34:30.400 you think

00:34:30.980 would have

00:34:31.740 happened?

00:34:35.880 Well, I

00:34:36.660 think that,

00:34:37.520 and this is

00:34:38.040 what I said

00:34:38.480 on a video

00:34:38.980 yesterday,

00:34:39.620 is that,

00:34:40.400 and this

00:34:40.720 isn't me

00:34:41.060 pointing a

00:34:41.660 finger at

00:34:42.060 anyone in

00:34:42.500 particular,

00:34:43.160 or a

00:34:43.620 party,

00:34:43.980 or an

00:34:44.280 agency,

00:34:44.640 but someone

00:34:45.640 within,

00:34:46.380 like, the

00:34:47.880 inside,

00:34:48.680 quote-unquote,

00:34:50.260 had to have

00:34:50.940 helped with

00:34:51.660 this.

00:34:52.360 Like, you

00:34:52.780 can't walk

00:34:54.160 through layers

00:34:55.480 of security

00:34:56.080 like that,

00:34:56.960 and then climb

00:34:57.540 up a ladder

00:34:58.060 to the most

00:34:59.000 obvious shooting

00:34:59.680 position,

00:35:00.460 and take a 0.99

00:35:01.440 shot at, 0.99

00:35:02.100 you know,

00:35:02.440 the former

00:35:02.900 president,

00:35:03.660 and maybe

00:35:04.320 future president.

00:35:05.360 Like,

00:35:06.100 somewhere along

00:35:07.600 that chain,

00:35:08.560 like, you know,

00:35:09.100 I think there's

00:35:09.580 talk of coming

00:35:10.340 out that he

00:35:11.080 had a van

00:35:11.640 and there

00:35:11.900 was explosives,

00:35:12.860 and so,

00:35:13.460 like, details

00:35:14.800 are going to

00:35:15.100 be crazy

00:35:15.500 for a little 0.66

00:35:15.900 while,

00:35:16.540 but just

00:35:17.260 from that

00:35:18.040 to having

00:35:19.760 the shots

00:35:20.200 happen,

00:35:21.280 there had

00:35:22.140 to be

00:35:22.560 someone that

00:35:23.440 helped with

00:35:23.900 that.

00:35:25.520 Well,

00:35:25.880 Dallas,

00:35:27.720 they did

00:35:28.100 say that

00:35:29.040 this was

00:35:30.540 not part

00:35:31.360 of the,

00:35:32.440 not part

00:35:34.580 of the

00:35:35.000 secure

00:35:35.560 location,

00:35:36.220 this was an

00:35:36.940 adjacent property,

00:35:38.080 so he

00:35:38.600 didn't have

00:35:39.160 to go

00:35:39.520 through

00:35:39.720 security

00:35:40.360 to get

00:35:41.820 the rifle

00:35:42.380 there,

00:35:43.340 but again,

00:35:44.800 you would

00:35:46.160 have been,

00:35:46.800 if you're

00:35:47.140 a secret

00:35:47.500 service,

00:35:48.480 you would

00:35:48.860 have been

00:35:49.160 at least,

00:35:49.720 if you're

00:35:49.980 not covering

00:35:50.640 that building

00:35:51.360 with bodies

00:35:52.600 and somebody

00:35:53.780 up on there,

00:35:54.380 you would

00:35:54.840 at least be

00:35:55.780 covering it

00:35:56.340 with eyesight,

00:35:57.320 would you not?

00:35:59.560 Yeah,

00:36:00.080 absolutely,

00:36:00.760 and especially

00:36:01.180 with a covered

00:36:01.960 approach like

00:36:02.540 that,

00:36:02.820 being the

00:36:03.500 building sloping

00:36:04.580 away from,

00:36:05.580 you know,

00:36:05.860 the other sniper

00:36:06.400 team or whatever

00:36:06.960 that could see

00:36:07.500 it,

00:36:08.300 it wouldn't

00:36:09.380 be covered,

00:36:09.980 like,

00:36:10.380 I saw that

00:36:11.600 just by,

00:36:12.640 like,

00:36:13.140 it flashed on

00:36:13.740 the screen

00:36:14.260 at a restaurant

00:36:15.260 I was at,

00:36:15.920 and immediately,

00:36:17.020 I'm like,

00:36:17.440 the two most

00:36:18.540 obvious things,

00:36:19.080 that building

00:36:19.520 and then the

00:36:19.900 water tower

00:36:20.360 in the background,

00:36:21.560 and you don't

00:36:23.380 need any special

00:36:24.120 training for that,

00:36:25.260 and yet there

00:36:25.800 was a bunch

00:36:26.740 of people there

00:36:27.840 with special

00:36:28.760 training,

00:36:29.440 and presumably

00:36:29.900 leading up to

00:36:30.680 it in days

00:36:31.080 before.

00:36:32.860 Hey Dallas,

00:36:33.900 my name is

00:36:34.400 Jason Butchrell,

00:36:35.000 I'm Glenn's

00:36:35.460 head writer

00:36:35.720 and chief researcher.

00:36:36.360 Can you explain

00:36:37.280 from the sniper's

00:36:38.020 perspective,

00:36:38.780 especially in a

00:36:39.300 situation like this

00:36:39.940 and close protection

00:36:40.620 details,

00:36:41.780 upon visual

00:36:43.300 acquisition

00:36:43.920 of an enemy

00:36:45.220 sniper,

00:36:46.280 does the

00:36:48.060 counter sniper

00:36:48.880 have permission

00:36:49.580 to immediately

00:36:50.220 take action

00:36:51.340 and fire, 0.94

00:36:52.400 or do they have

00:36:52.900 to go through

00:36:53.340 like a long

00:36:53.840 process of

00:36:54.720 verifying and

00:36:55.680 then getting

00:36:56.060 permission and

00:36:56.700 all that?

00:36:58.340 Yeah,

00:36:58.580 so that

00:36:59.460 very much

00:37:00.260 depends on

00:37:00.860 the department,

00:37:01.980 what the ROEs 1.00

00:37:02.660 are,

00:37:03.160 and I,

00:37:03.740 like,

00:37:03.980 I can't speak

00:37:04.480 to the

00:37:04.720 secret service

00:37:05.400 when they're

00:37:05.820 working with

00:37:06.200 a police force,

00:37:07.560 I have no

00:37:08.140 idea.

00:37:08.940 I know

00:37:09.680 in the jobs

00:37:11.740 that I have

00:37:12.320 done,

00:37:13.060 if there is a

00:37:13.720 sniper position

00:37:14.440 and I'm a

00:37:15.340 counter sniper

00:37:16.080 overwatch,

00:37:18.020 yeah,

00:37:18.320 you're shooting,

00:37:18.900 you're not

00:37:19.120 waiting for

00:37:19.580 someone to

00:37:19.980 give you

00:37:20.180 permission to 0.99

00:37:20.740 shoot.

00:37:21.180 Can I ask, 0.99

00:37:21.860 as a sniper

00:37:22.520 overwatch,

00:37:23.200 do you also,

00:37:23.740 are you focused

00:37:25.200 on a specific

00:37:25.880 pause,

00:37:26.720 or are you

00:37:27.560 kind of

00:37:28.080 scanning the

00:37:28.920 entire horizon?

00:37:29.640 Yeah,

00:37:31.900 it sort of

00:37:32.680 depends on

00:37:33.120 the mission

00:37:33.460 and how many

00:37:33.860 other sniper

00:37:34.300 teams there

00:37:34.820 are,

00:37:35.440 so if you

00:37:36.200 have a bunch

00:37:36.640 of teams,

00:37:37.240 you'll have

00:37:37.660 areas of

00:37:38.100 responsibility,

00:37:40.300 if you are

00:37:41.460 tasked with

00:37:42.520 watching one

00:37:43.180 specific doorway

00:37:44.080 or something,

00:37:44.960 then that's

00:37:45.340 where you stay,

00:37:45.940 so it's

00:37:46.860 mission-dependent.

00:37:48.620 Right.

00:37:49.580 So,

00:37:50.440 Dallas,

00:37:50.820 let me ask

00:37:51.340 you,

00:37:51.540 there was a

00:37:52.260 five-mile-an-hour

00:37:53.680 wind,

00:37:55.200 this is,

00:37:56.520 you know,

00:37:56.960 it looks like,

00:37:57.980 by the grace

00:37:58.480 of God,

00:37:59.280 Donald Trump

00:38:00.260 turned his

00:38:00.920 head,

00:38:02.900 A,

00:38:03.200 how easy

00:38:03.900 of a shot

00:38:04.560 was this

00:38:05.400 for a

00:38:06.120 20-something,

00:38:07.580 and

00:38:08.620 how close

00:38:12.200 did we come

00:38:12.980 to losing

00:38:14.140 a president?

00:38:16.940 Yeah,

00:38:17.500 that's something

00:38:18.060 I've been thinking

00:38:18.640 about,

00:38:18.960 you know,

00:38:19.200 for the last

00:38:19.760 couple days,

00:38:20.420 it's crazy,

00:38:21.600 because if it

00:38:22.100 would have been

00:38:22.820 just,

00:38:23.380 you know,

00:38:23.740 an inch or two

00:38:24.440 the other way,

00:38:25.940 I would,

00:38:27.980 I just

00:38:28.360 hate to think

00:38:28.780 about what

00:38:29.160 would have

00:38:29.420 happened,

00:38:30.000 you know,

00:38:30.200 in this country,

00:38:30.760 in the whole

00:38:31.040 world,

00:38:31.440 it would have

00:38:31.800 been very

00:38:32.200 crazy.

00:38:33.960 But the

00:38:34.520 shot,

00:38:35.380 you know,

00:38:35.960 I was asking

00:38:37.380 somebody about

00:38:37.820 this yesterday,

00:38:38.300 I haven't got

00:38:39.060 confirmation on

00:38:39.760 what the optics

00:38:40.460 on the rifle

00:38:41.320 were,

00:38:41.740 which makes

00:38:42.260 a big difference.

00:38:43.840 It's not

00:38:44.420 generally a very

00:38:45.080 hard shot,

00:38:45.680 I think it was

00:38:46.000 150 yards

00:38:47.180 roughly.

00:38:48.900 It doesn't

00:38:49.540 take much

00:38:50.000 shooting training

00:38:50.600 whatsoever to

00:38:51.340 be able to

00:38:52.160 hit a head-sized

00:38:53.220 target at

00:38:53.720 150 yards.

00:38:54.640 win definitely

00:38:57.580 would play a

00:38:58.020 factor.

00:38:58.500 I think the

00:38:59.220 caliber was

00:38:59.640 5.56,

00:39:00.340 even that I'm

00:39:00.820 not 100%

00:39:01.360 sure,

00:39:01.780 but it's

00:39:03.640 not a

00:39:04.140 difficult shot,

00:39:06.900 but it's

00:39:07.260 also not

00:39:07.780 unmissable.

00:39:08.840 You know,

00:39:09.020 if he only

00:39:09.400 has an

00:39:10.140 EOTech sight

00:39:10.780 or something

00:39:11.140 like that,

00:39:11.680 like,

00:39:12.680 and you don't

00:39:13.120 have a lot

00:39:13.380 of gun

00:39:13.620 training,

00:39:13.960 it's not

00:39:14.300 something that

00:39:14.820 you're for

00:39:15.120 sure going

00:39:15.480 to hit,

00:39:16.060 which is

00:39:16.420 maybe why

00:39:16.900 he sent,

00:39:17.560 I think it

00:39:17.860 was five or

00:39:18.400 eight rounds.

00:39:19.060 Have you

00:39:21.960 ever shot

00:39:25.400 and had 0.97

00:39:25.940 them dead 0.99

00:39:26.360 in your 0.99

00:39:26.740 sights and

00:39:27.620 they moved

00:39:28.700 at the very

00:39:29.280 last minute

00:39:29.860 like this?

00:39:30.380 How often

00:39:30.880 does that

00:39:31.320 happen?

00:39:33.640 Oh,

00:39:33.940 from that

00:39:34.420 range,

00:39:35.460 like,

00:39:36.380 that's pretty

00:39:37.260 wild,

00:39:37.640 I think.

00:39:39.020 I was very

00:39:39.840 surprised.

00:39:40.860 I think

00:39:41.240 someone telling

00:39:42.300 me yesterday

00:39:42.880 that they

00:39:43.900 heard it

00:39:44.380 was an

00:39:44.640 EOTech

00:39:45.060 sight made

00:39:45.940 a little

00:39:46.200 more sense

00:39:46.800 to me

00:39:47.180 because if

00:39:48.000 they had

00:39:48.180 a scoped

00:39:48.560 rifle,

00:39:49.060 you know,

00:39:49.480 with any

00:39:49.760 magnification,

00:39:50.760 10 power

00:39:51.260 or whatever,

00:39:52.540 it would

00:39:53.100 have been

00:39:53.480 very,

00:39:54.160 a different

00:39:55.780 shot,

00:39:56.340 a lot

00:39:56.720 easier to

00:39:57.240 make.

00:40:02.520 Dallas,

00:40:03.340 thanks for

00:40:03.780 your weighing

00:40:05.580 in on this.

00:40:06.280 I really

00:40:07.580 hope that

00:40:08.160 you're wrong. 0.83

00:40:09.540 What are

00:40:10.040 the questions

00:40:10.660 that we

00:40:11.200 should be

00:40:12.100 demanding

00:40:12.680 from our

00:40:13.360 Secret Service?

00:40:16.980 Oh,

00:40:17.620 geez,

00:40:18.560 the breakdown

00:40:19.220 is crazy.

00:40:21.360 There's so

00:40:21.940 many layers

00:40:22.460 to this

00:40:23.020 and it

00:40:25.160 would be,

00:40:25.960 I don't

00:40:26.400 even know

00:40:26.760 who started

00:40:28.100 the planning

00:40:28.540 how long

00:40:28.980 ago it

00:40:29.360 was,

00:40:29.740 but to

00:40:30.420 miss

00:40:30.760 something

00:40:31.980 that

00:40:32.300 obvious,

00:40:33.560 again,

00:40:35.540 there's just,

00:40:36.300 I don't

00:40:36.680 think there's

00:40:37.500 an explanation.

00:40:38.340 I think it

00:40:38.620 just needs

00:40:38.940 a deep

00:40:39.320 dive

00:40:39.580 investigation.

00:40:40.560 I don't

00:40:40.780 think

00:40:41.040 competence,

00:40:41.900 and I've

00:40:42.220 worked in

00:40:42.480 the government

00:40:42.780 for a long

00:40:43.220 time,

00:40:43.480 so I know

00:40:43.840 incompetence,

00:40:45.220 and there's

00:40:45.680 a ton of

00:40:46.060 it.

00:40:47.280 I just

00:40:47.780 don't think

00:40:48.300 that that

00:40:49.540 is what

00:40:49.840 explains this

00:40:50.820 problem away.

00:40:52.120 I think

00:40:52.380 something

00:40:52.700 happened,

00:40:53.260 and I

00:40:53.480 think there

00:40:53.800 needs to

00:40:54.080 be a

00:40:55.680 gigantic

00:40:56.180 deep dive

00:40:57.040 investigation,

00:40:58.060 because it's

00:40:58.420 very,

00:40:58.840 very shady.

00:41:00.800 So you

00:41:01.780 don't think

00:41:02.420 that even

00:41:03.020 incompetence

00:41:03.780 would cover

00:41:04.200 this,

00:41:04.500 because it's

00:41:04.920 so obvious?

00:41:06.600 Yeah,

00:41:06.980 like I think

00:41:07.480 you could take

00:41:08.360 a 10-year-old

00:41:08.900 out there

00:41:09.340 and say,

00:41:10.040 okay,

00:41:10.540 we want to

00:41:11.020 plan security,

00:41:11.820 what should

00:41:12.820 we look

00:41:13.180 at?

00:41:13.620 And it'll

00:41:14.460 be a kid

00:41:14.840 who played

00:41:15.140 Call of

00:41:15.500 Duties,

00:41:15.920 and tell

00:41:16.180 you this

00:41:16.480 rooftop right

00:41:17.200 here is the

00:41:17.720 most dangerous

00:41:18.200 point.

00:41:18.940 It's overlooking

00:41:19.600 where the

00:41:20.620 president's going

00:41:21.120 to be speaking,

00:41:22.000 or the foreign

00:41:22.400 president's going

00:41:22.900 to be speaking.

00:41:24.500 It's just,

00:41:25.200 it's cliche.

00:41:27.300 It's so obvious

00:41:28.640 those snipers

00:41:29.540 will be that

00:41:30.060 and the

00:41:30.340 water tower.

00:41:32.400 But it

00:41:33.240 couldn't be

00:41:33.820 just one

00:41:34.480 person.

00:41:35.060 If that was

00:41:35.520 happening,

00:41:36.660 it would have

00:41:37.760 to involve

00:41:38.600 a team,

00:41:39.600 wouldn't it?

00:41:39.960 Because

00:41:40.260 somebody

00:41:41.800 else on

00:41:42.280 the team

00:41:42.600 would go,

00:41:43.480 Bill,

00:41:44.440 what the 1.00

00:41:44.720 hell are you 0.99

00:41:44.960 talking about? 0.96

00:41:46.000 We've got to

00:41:46.480 cover the

00:41:46.880 roof.

00:41:48.680 That's what I

00:41:49.280 mean.

00:41:49.600 So I'm

00:41:50.080 saying in

00:41:50.480 all these

00:41:50.740 videos,

00:41:51.200 whether it's

00:41:51.580 secret service

00:41:52.140 agents or

00:41:52.760 local police

00:41:53.400 or whatever

00:41:53.760 it is,

00:41:54.360 these are

00:41:54.660 all tactical

00:41:55.280 professionals.

00:41:55.880 And even

00:41:56.260 if their

00:41:56.680 level of

00:41:57.900 competence is

00:41:59.160 low,

00:42:00.200 it still

00:42:00.640 doesn't matter.

00:42:01.680 That's such

00:42:02.240 an obvious

00:42:02.760 basic thing.

00:42:03.740 You could

00:42:03.980 take a

00:42:04.480 Navy cook

00:42:06.180 or whatever,

00:42:06.740 and he's

00:42:06.900 going to,

00:42:07.180 oh yeah,

00:42:07.560 tactically

00:42:07.960 speaking,

00:42:08.380 we've got to

00:42:08.640 look at that

00:42:09.020 thing.

00:42:09.480 So out of

00:42:10.260 all the people

00:42:11.040 on the ground,

00:42:11.660 all the

00:42:12.120 people involved,

00:42:13.220 it just

00:42:13.560 doesn't make

00:42:14.200 any sense

00:42:14.820 that that

00:42:15.700 one position

00:42:17.860 and the

00:42:18.440 most important

00:42:19.060 position,

00:42:19.680 arguably,

00:42:20.520 was just not

00:42:21.060 being watched.

00:42:22.060 And then like

00:42:22.540 a ladder,

00:42:23.060 someone could put

00:42:23.420 up a ladder

00:42:23.880 and climb up. 0.60

00:42:24.760 It doesn't

00:42:25.400 make any sense.

00:42:26.880 Well,

00:42:27.340 apparently the

00:42:28.040 ladder was

00:42:28.520 attached to

00:42:29.220 the building,

00:42:29.680 so nobody

00:42:30.960 had to bring

00:42:31.420 a ladder

00:42:31.780 or bring

00:42:33.100 it up.

00:42:33.960 Let me

00:42:34.640 ask you,

00:42:36.920 the thing

00:42:38.380 that bothers

00:42:39.120 me is that

00:42:40.080 all of the

00:42:40.620 people on

00:42:41.060 the ground

00:42:41.480 were pointing

00:42:42.840 and shouting

00:42:43.920 shooter,

00:42:44.380 shooter,

00:42:44.740 shooter.

00:42:48.780 Is it

00:42:49.420 possible that

00:42:50.540 nobody

00:42:52.040 heard that,

00:42:53.600 that it

00:42:53.920 didn't get

00:42:54.560 up to

00:42:55.800 the guys?

00:42:57.460 I mean,

00:42:57.660 if you're a

00:42:58.080 police officer

00:42:58.820 or you're in

00:42:59.500 Secret Service,

00:43:00.760 wouldn't you

00:43:01.340 radio that

00:43:02.100 in immediately?

00:43:05.060 Yeah,

00:43:05.560 you would hope.

00:43:06.300 I mean,

00:43:06.600 this is the

00:43:07.140 part of it

00:43:07.660 that I

00:43:08.180 think could

00:43:10.360 be,

00:43:11.520 you could

00:43:12.440 point to

00:43:12.920 incompetence.

00:43:14.140 I've seen

00:43:14.500 communication

00:43:15.180 break down

00:43:15.860 when things

00:43:17.080 get crazy,

00:43:18.840 radios

00:43:19.560 not work,

00:43:20.700 like I'm

00:43:21.500 guessing all

00:43:22.160 the agencies

00:43:22.660 there,

00:43:23.400 whoever local

00:43:23.900 police and

00:43:24.580 they're probably

00:43:25.840 not using the

00:43:26.800 same radio

00:43:27.340 and gear

00:43:27.780 and there's

00:43:28.060 probably someone

00:43:28.500 passing along

00:43:29.080 the message.

00:43:30.260 In chaotic

00:43:30.740 times,

00:43:31.120 I've seen

00:43:31.440 communication

00:43:32.240 be poorly

00:43:35.520 executed to

00:43:36.900 like a

00:43:37.520 surprising

00:43:37.980 level.

00:43:38.440 So that

00:43:38.780 part I

00:43:39.820 could almost

00:43:40.360 wrap my

00:43:43.080 head around

00:43:43.420 it being

00:43:43.940 blamed on

00:43:44.760 incompetence,

00:43:45.680 but I just

00:43:46.080 think everything

00:43:46.520 leading up to

00:43:47.420 there being

00:43:48.200 a guy with

00:43:49.600 a gun on

00:43:50.300 a roof

00:43:50.720 within

00:43:51.120 essentially

00:43:52.160 zeroing range

00:43:53.120 of a rifle

00:43:53.660 to the

00:43:54.360 president,

00:43:55.100 to me,

00:43:55.700 that doesn't

00:43:56.120 add up

00:43:56.480 whatsoever.

00:43:56.860 And they

00:43:58.960 would have

00:43:59.360 recorded

00:43:59.800 everything

00:44:00.420 that was

00:44:01.040 said,

00:44:01.460 would they

00:44:01.720 not?

00:44:04.280 I don't

00:44:04.960 know what

00:44:05.500 the SOPs

00:44:06.120 are actually

00:44:06.680 like for

00:44:07.820 Secret Service

00:44:08.820 and police.

00:44:10.620 The missions

00:44:11.380 I've gone

00:44:11.880 on,

00:44:13.100 unless it

00:44:13.600 was going

00:44:13.940 to like a

00:44:14.680 tactical

00:44:15.160 center or

00:44:15.780 something,

00:44:16.520 like on the

00:44:17.540 ground,

00:44:18.120 we were not

00:44:18.600 recording our

00:44:19.540 radio

00:44:19.840 conversations.

00:44:20.480 Thank you so

00:44:24.140 much.

00:44:24.480 I appreciate

00:44:24.860 it.

00:44:26.220 No, I

00:44:26.600 know, I

00:44:27.180 know, I

00:44:27.600 know.

00:44:28.340 Thank you

00:44:28.940 for pointing

00:44:30.020 this out and

00:44:30.600 giving us

00:44:31.060 questions that

00:44:31.780 really need to

00:44:32.460 be answered.

00:44:33.580 Dallas

00:44:33.900 Alexander,

00:44:35.120 appreciate it.

00:44:35.820 God bless.

00:44:36.500 Stay safe.

00:44:37.160 Thanks for

00:44:37.440 having me.
