00:03:12.560 welcome to the glenbeck program we are uh thrilled to uh welcome the next senator from the great state
00:03:24.660 of georgia heisman trophy winner herschel walker hello herschel how are you sir
00:03:30.320 hello sir how you doing very good i'm glad to see that you are um you're holding it together we had
00:03:38.280 a real concerns uh herschel stew and i we talked about it you are a good guy nice guy you had your
00:03:47.100 issues in the past but you dealt with them and you were forthcoming but to be in your position
00:03:53.240 we knew they were coming after you with everything and anything they could think of
00:03:59.920 and they have and you have held up remarkably well under this uh pressure i i don't know of
00:04:08.100 i don't think i've can you think of another person that is not political at all that got in
00:04:15.200 and was able to withstand the storm that he's stood well you know to be honest with you i can't think of
00:04:21.660 anyone has ever done it but i can say this is you know i believe in the lord jesus and i told you when
00:04:27.460 i got in this race this is much bigger than herschel walker yeah i know see that right now that they
00:04:33.800 would do and say anything for this seat the seat is so important to them that if they have to destroy
00:04:40.040 me they're going to try it but they they don't realize that i told them i have the lord jesus on my
00:04:45.560 side and i'm going to fight through it and i fought through it and right now they're nervous they're
00:04:50.180 scared to death right now so they're going to come back with something else but i think after that
00:04:54.660 debate he saw then that he was that wolf in sheep's clothing that i've called him out on and i'm going
00:05:00.780 to go after him even more and let him know that he's been a terrible senator for georgia he's a
00:05:05.280 terrible senator senator for the united states his voting record has been terrible the same as biden
00:05:10.520 voting record has been terrible what he's done to this country and i'm going to keep fighting
00:05:14.580 um herschel i i googled you this morning um and just put the herschel walker clicked on news
00:05:22.020 you know they can change elections we know this google can change elections by just changing the
00:05:28.600 order of stories listen to the way google is trying to come after you first story herschel walker calls
00:05:35.440 his mental illness cured experts say not so simple um daily beast um tuning out the news
00:05:44.300 prank calls herschel walker i wanted to report a crime uh cnn opinion the real herschel walker
00:05:51.000 problem uh newsweek there are two preachers herschel walker is no choice for the faithful
00:05:56.300 uh another one from the daily beast that isn't good um you've got one that is from fox news that is
00:06:05.000 decent then the guardian bad again msnbc there is nothing except one story at the bottom of the page
00:06:13.900 from fox news that's okay why do they hate you so much why are they so afraid of you
00:06:21.520 well they're afraid of me because i'm a black man that i have my own thoughts i have my own thoughts
00:06:27.540 and they're afraid that if i uh let everyone know that you know you can have your own thoughts that
00:06:32.560 they can't just rude me they're not gonna just have uh they're not gonna just tell me what to do
00:06:37.440 uh and i think that's the reason they're so afraid of me and that i will speak my mind that i will go
00:06:42.940 to washington and fight for what every person that went to washington was supposed to do so they're
00:06:48.320 scared to death of me and i told them no weapon formed against me will prosper they have continued
00:06:53.800 to write all those things but right now senator whatnot is either behind me or we're tired and he's
00:07:00.420 spent almost 60 million dollars already crazy which means it's maybe time for him to go what are people
00:07:06.900 saying on the ground have you talked to people that did vote for herschel walker that are or voted for
00:07:14.240 biden and have seen the light well you know what people are saying is that you know they're they're so
00:07:20.120 glad that i've stayed above all the trash all the family stuff and all this they want to know about
00:07:26.340 what i'm going to do for them because right now this economy is bad you know uh they and you know
00:07:31.860 and one thing about it is rafael one got a pass he got a pass that he has not dealt with my past has
00:07:38.620 been very transparent he's got a pass that he hadn't dealt with and i wouldn't bring it up because i
00:07:43.980 said it's not about what he's done in his family life it's what he's done as a senator as a senator he
00:07:49.540 voted to put men and women sports which we disagree with that he voted against 18 000 border agents
00:07:56.320 he voted against that he voted for all this inflation that we have you know he voted they
00:08:01.540 have the for you to pay the other people college debt that's what he wanted to do so i want to get
00:08:07.580 him out of there because of him as a senator he's not done a good job i tell you i saw the i saw the
00:08:13.580 debate between the two of you and i i thought you did phenomenally well um but uh you you brought
00:08:21.740 something up that was in the news and you're quip back to him i didn't write the story was
00:08:25.980 hysterical um but his church and that he's running his uh outreach and uh kind of shelter
00:08:35.540 in a way i mean you can rent from the church and live in these apartments somebody was behind in
00:08:41.560 rent by 28 dollars and they evicted them yes i mean that's really remarkable and you know he gives
00:08:51.500 your bible verses when you get when you get caught in something but he didn't realize that i know the
00:08:56.240 bible as well so i had to say hey senator instead of you giving me these bible verses why don't you
00:09:00.880 read a little bit more of that verse because that verse does not say that you're supposed to evict
00:09:05.640 people that are that are hurting you're not supposed to evict them from their home when you're yet
00:09:10.080 at double your salary your income has doubled since you got to washington your income doubled and you're
00:09:15.060 evicting people of 28 dollars 30 dollars and i offered to pay and he uh and i hate to say that
00:09:21.160 he bared false witness up on stage pretending he knew nothing about it he pretended he pretended i did
00:09:27.740 it like and i just found out about it that day he pretended i did it and then he brought dr king's
00:09:33.160 name in it and i said being a leader take responsibility but then you fix it and right now
00:09:39.140 you see in washington nobody want to take responsibility so how are we ever going to get
00:09:42.840 this fixed my question i ask is they've done this in less than two years and i want everyone to know
00:09:49.120 if they've done this in less than two years think about if we give a senator six more years what is
00:09:54.220 he going to do to us if we get six more years what is going to do to us we need to stop this right now
00:09:59.680 so i encourage everyone in georgia to vote for me anyone in texas to vote for someone that believes
00:10:05.120 in america believes in this constitution believes in the republican party because
00:10:08.880 i don't care what color you are right now they don't want a black or brown person in the
00:10:13.720 republican party because they know then more going to come over because they're going to start seeing
00:10:18.360 the light that the democratic party just want to continue to hold you down want to continue to
00:10:22.860 think that the government is going to give you something but no give me an opportunity that's all
00:10:27.580 i ask give me an opportunity and i will get it for myself we're talking to herschel walker herschel during
00:10:32.760 the debate i was actually impressed they asked this question because they almost never do
00:10:36.620 which was asked rafael warnock do you have any limitations on abortion is there any moment before
00:10:43.500 right before birth that you would you would limit abortion he completely avoided the question do we
00:10:49.480 have any idea has he ever stated anything clear on this is there any limitation on abortion in the
00:10:55.740 mind of rafael warnock well no it's not he believes in abortion all the way up to nine months
00:11:01.820 he believes that if a baby survived an abortion he would deny that baby medical care wow that is a
00:11:09.360 that has now and i said this thou shall not kill that's one of his ten commandments so i ask anyone
00:11:15.900 that is thinking about voting for him if he cannot keep the ultimate oath to our almighty god do you think
00:11:22.740 he's going to keep it for you do you think he's going to keep it for you because i said it is amazing
00:11:28.280 to me that he's been out there saying all this stuff you know he even said america need to apologize
00:11:33.800 for it whiteness but yet he's uh not saying do you have a second redemption do you think of forgiveness
00:11:39.920 that's in your bible and it's written in your bible as well a house divided shall not shall not stand
00:11:46.380 and these are this is a minister he should be out preaching together on this preaching bringing people
00:11:51.680 together taking the baton of martin luther king running with it i i have to tell you i think that
00:11:57.980 was the biggest thing i i walked away uh from here is a guy who's a football player running for an office
00:12:05.360 um that you know everybody said there was no way he could win uh and he's going up against a preacher
00:12:12.040 who is in office and this preacher looked like almost like an atheist compared to you i mean
00:12:21.020 it wasn't hard just the questions you were asking him and the way he was answering no preacher
00:12:27.800 would ever answer questions like that all the way up to birth and and see i don't think people really
00:12:35.500 care that much when it comes to the economy or the abortion issue i think people are picking the
00:12:42.360 economy and what's happening to our children um that's you know abortion is important but what's
00:12:48.320 happening in our schools and what's happening with our uh with our uh money and our jobs is taking a
00:12:55.120 priority but people are against abortion i the majority vast majority of americans are against
00:13:03.800 this extremist view of i can kill a baby on its birthday or if they are born alive and i tried to kill it
00:13:14.280 i'm just gonna let it just i'm gonna put it in a closet and let it scream until it dies nobody is
00:13:21.460 for that these guys are he's a preacher i said why are you not baptizing that baby do you believe in
00:13:29.400 baptism since you don't believe in resurrection do you believe in baptism do you believe in forgiveness
00:13:34.500 do you believe in anything and you're not that i'm questioning him as a preacher but if you're
00:13:39.080 to bring bible verses up when you get caught with something you read the whole scripture don't just
00:13:44.760 read half of it take what you like out of it that's not what you do and i and i just and and i and i
00:13:51.120 never had a doubt and i hope you guys believe in me i never had a doubt that i would beat him in a
00:13:57.600 debate i never had a doubt i said because he didn't know who he had and i think he underestimated me
00:14:03.840 which he has done very a lot and has been a senator well i will i will tell you you were pretty
00:14:11.800 brilliant in saying look i'm just a country boy he's he talks for a living i don't i you know i
00:14:18.780 probably i just want to with you know just hold my own there because you lowered expectations uh and
00:14:26.140 when you start i mean i i haven't seen people um that don't do this for a living pivot as well
00:14:33.760 as you do and and even asking the even asked the question on nbc the other day you know what tell
00:14:40.160 me what biden has done that's good well he likes ice cream uh brilliant answers really really good
00:14:48.380 answers well you know i asked anyone else tell me what he's done that's good you know the first thing
00:14:54.100 he did when he got as president he got rid of the uh the keystone pipeline yeah that was our energy
00:15:00.420 which now put us in a in a international uh crisis yeah you know not as gas and oil but also food
00:15:07.360 you know he put us in a a very serious crisis by doing that and i don't think people realize that
00:15:15.660 national security you think about national security he just put us in herschel i uh i'm i'm so happy
00:15:24.220 that you're doing well i'm proud uh of you as a friend and uh i am excited for you giving the
00:15:32.440 democrats the heisman uh throughout your term as senator should you win thank you very much how
00:15:39.880 can people help and get involved in your campaign well you know early voters started here in georgia
00:15:45.440 on monday and i want people they can go to team herschel.com and if you want to contribute to the
00:15:51.360 campaign of you know people in georgia that you get tell them to vote for herschel or can do or not
00:15:56.380 a volunteer because we're going to win this seat for the great state of georgia but we're also going
00:16:01.400 to win it for america i think this seat is very very very uh important and i think people can see
00:16:07.740 it how they will say and do anything to keep power but they keep power from me they're going to have to
00:16:13.260 work hard and i'm willing to work and i just want people to go to team herschel.com find out where i'm
00:16:18.780 going to be speaking and tell your friends to come out and listen and and let's know that i will fight
00:16:23.700 for georgia and i'll fight for everyone in america because i believe in this country i believe in
00:16:27.680 and uh in the people and all everyone in america is my family and i'm going to fight for my family
00:16:33.320 god bless you herschel thank you so much we have you in our prayers god bless you bet herschel walker
00:16:40.060 team herschel is the web address you're listening to the best of the glenbeck program
00:16:49.600 welcome to the glenbeck program michael malice is joining us now host of your welcome podcast that
00:17:02.600 is just great he is uh talking to us about the three biggest senate races in the country
00:17:07.740 uh but i i also want to talk to him about some of the tweets he put out about the number of
00:17:14.680 democrats in the house in the last 100 years um there is you know there is a slim but there is a
00:17:21.380 possibility this becomes historic we'll talk to him about that first let's go to pennsylvania
00:17:25.600 georgia and arizona hello michael good morning uh are you as excited for election night as i am
00:17:31.680 i actually am because i know what we have planned some of the things we have planned
00:17:38.000 oh i don't mean us personally on the blaze i just meant i think this is going to be really one of
00:17:43.060 those epic election nights where a lot of very bad people are going to be very upset oh i hope the
00:17:48.700 delight of the audience i hope i hope um i i feel weird predicting but i'm i'm gathering a sense of
00:17:58.680 real optimism here if people go out and vote yeah i also think what's what i'm most looking forward to
00:18:07.420 and i would bet you agree is that many republicans have and both republican politicians and republican
00:18:14.600 voters have been tried to be the the recipients of a tactic they tried in 2016 which is you cannot vote
00:18:22.080 for this person this person is anathema taboo whatever word you want to use and you do not have a
00:18:28.660 right to choose this person as your candidate i'm specifically thinking of kerry lake who's
00:18:33.240 probably been hit harder than any other candidate she's running for governor in arizona she's ahead
00:18:37.360 in most of the polls or one point behind in some of the others the fact that glenn youngkin who by most
00:18:42.900 accounts seems to be kind of a milk toast generic republican went out of his way to campaign for her
00:18:48.700 uh is and especially when people like mike pence campaigned against her in the primary is very
00:18:54.820 very telling because this is showing how the corporate media's attempts to define who is
00:18:59.700 acceptable and who is not acceptable both for republican primary voters and for the general
00:19:04.440 electorate to vote for that power is falling away rapidly and that is to the great health
00:19:10.980 uh it is as they would put it our democracy it is the fact that we are pulling away from our parties
00:19:17.480 that we are questioning all politicians um and we are waking up to the fact the media has been lying to
00:19:25.420 us is that is a good sign of health for the republic and the fact that kerry lake you know they they
00:19:33.340 have this they have this thesis um if you talk listen to pundits on you know most media networks and
00:19:38.620 uh you read their articles they had this thesis that trump is basically like the head vampire right
00:19:44.140 and once we get rid of trump everything is going to go back to normal we all saw those movies you
00:19:48.340 kill the head vampire all the other vampires vanish and i've often said that trump wasn't the river he
00:19:53.120 was the dam you get rid of him you're going to have this you know river of people that corporate
00:19:58.060 media would not like and kerry lake is and and governor de santis of course are very much playing in the
00:20:04.900 trump handbook in the sense of taking the fight not specifically to the democrats but to the journalists
00:20:10.560 who are carrying water and running interference for them i'm sure you saw it earlier this week
00:20:14.560 when they were yelling at her for being an election denier and she just busted out the receipts of
00:20:19.020 stacy abrams in 2018 hillary clinton and who knows how many others uh in 2016 calling trump's election
00:20:25.780 illegitimate and saying governor kemp in georgia his election was stolen so it's honestly it's what so
00:20:31.880 many of us have said the whole time stop being afraid stop yeah stop giving in tell the truth
00:20:40.340 but it's also the inverse the as another arizona and john mccain learned they're never going to
00:20:46.880 like you or they're only going to like you in so far as you're doing their bidding and the second you
00:20:52.440 are in the way of their schemes as mccain found out in 2008 they will throw you under the bus so fast
00:20:59.260 it would leave you skid marks from california to maine yeah um so talk to me about um fetterman
00:21:06.000 oh my favorite candidate um of this year i sent him money this week uh just because it's be fun
00:21:14.600 right oh yeah well i i mean i don't i'm not sure if they literally shaved the chewbacca or they found
00:21:21.260 lurch um and they kind of took him from butler to being in the senate uh he needs a um cello prompter
00:21:30.060 to even hear the questions which frankly in this day and age makes him presidential more than anything
00:21:34.960 rather than being a senator he should be running for biden's seat in delaware to be honest you know
00:21:40.020 because of the brain damage and his wife i don't know if you saw this glenn she was very upset at
00:21:44.840 that reporter who was asking very benign germane questions about look you need a prompter to hear
00:21:50.980 what i'm saying voters are concerned about your health is this a concern uh you know how dare you
00:21:56.640 question the the health of a man who most recently had a stroke right how dare you how dare you sir
00:22:04.660 i have to tell you i i want to see i would pay money in fact if anybody can produce this in a
00:22:11.240 realistic way i mean i might pay you money for the i i want to see him and gene wilder on the stage
00:22:20.200 doing putting on the ritz i just say it is it's john fetterman but the thing that i'm very surprised
00:22:31.280 about and glenn i'm curious to hear your thoughts as well the two the two big kind of swing races where
00:22:36.860 you had these kind of odd candidates uh celebrity candidates was georgia and pennsylvania dr oz who
00:22:42.120 obviously has no political background particularly herschel walker football star um had no particular
00:22:46.900 political background either in georgia both were nominated by the republicans in large part due to
00:22:51.700 their name recognition and their bank accounts and oz looked dead in the water he was running a terrible
00:22:57.660 campaign republicans weren't buying it but now he's in better shape than herschel walker more
00:23:03.620 importantly he has the momentum uh he was behind in all the polls you know not that long ago and now
00:23:09.660 he's caught up or a point or two behind so i think that is a big surprise that he's looking to be in
00:23:15.160 many ways a safer bet than walker in georgia are you surprised to see that happen glenn um i am but i i
00:23:21.920 wouldn't count herschel walker out um i think herschel walker's gonna win i don't know if you saw the
00:23:27.260 debate but i think he's gonna win i i agree with you i think he's gonna win and the reason is we
00:23:32.840 haven't had a wave election in i think like eight years 2020 the it wasn't a wave election because
00:23:39.620 republicans picked up house seats in 2018 it should have been uh excuse me in 2018 it wasn't a wave
00:23:45.220 election 2016 you know trump won but he wasn't some kind of massive wave one way or another 2014
00:23:50.560 2014 was when all the races that were toss-ups broke for the republicans and they had their
00:23:55.320 biggest house majority since the 1920s if you look at the real clear average of polls which is kind of
00:24:01.580 the most reliable one because it's a poll of polls every single house race that they were looking at
00:24:06.840 that was that you know the last race changes where i think there were 20 of them every single one went
00:24:11.360 in the direction of the republicans now that didn't mean the republicans were favored in some
00:24:15.080 cases the democratic lead went from 10 points to 7 or 15 to 12 and they're still going to win
00:24:21.020 point being if you have this kind of nationalization of an election and every race starts breaking in one
00:24:27.120 direction we've seen it you and i are old enough to see this in 94 we saw for the democrats in 2006 2008
00:24:33.520 if that's the case then all three of these kind of races that are going to decide the senate
00:24:38.280 specifically arizona uh georgia and pennsylvania they're all going to break republican i i want uh
00:24:45.360 hersher walker and fetterman are the two candidates i'm most excited about um and i i agree well did
00:24:51.020 you i read hersher walker's book this week did you know he played russian roulette so many times he's
00:24:55.260 lost track of count did you know that i did know that by his own words yeah no i don't know he's not
00:25:00.680 like that he's an he used to be a neighbor of mine uh so i i i know him he's he admits to his
00:25:09.840 crazy crazy life and i i think he has i think he has it under control i think he knows you know what
00:25:19.560 caused it and and uh and uh you know what the effects are well i i mean i i think most people
00:25:26.920 know what the effects of russian roulette are yeah no i know and and i think this is the kind of
00:25:31.360 thing i'm russian but you know i guess technically if i play roulette it's russian roulette but yeah i
00:25:36.500 don't even play roulette roulette so yeah yeah yeah um so you did a couple of polls um on uh twitter
00:25:44.900 the other day if republicans take control of congress next month will joe biden govern more like bill
00:25:49.260 clinton leading things more balanced budget and defensive marriage act which he voted for or will he stay
00:25:54.860 the course 90 said stay the course 100 agree with that yeah it's obviously not a very scientific
00:26:04.100 poll because it's just my audience but the thing you know joe biden is a senator you know in the 90s
00:26:11.160 he was this kind of quote-unquote centrist clinton democrat voted for a defensive marriage act and now
00:26:15.840 he's tweeting about how important it is for everyone to be able to marry who they want i i think the
00:26:20.180 reason why i would agree that if if um the republicans take the congress as it looks quite
00:26:24.740 likely that they will that biden is going to stay the course is it seems pretty clear to pretty much
00:26:29.920 everyone including democrats that biden is not really the leader uh if you look at those massive
00:26:35.080 spending bills none of them were particularly biden priorities it's not like he was there like
00:26:39.320 you know supposedly this blue-collar joe these were all kind of lefty environmentalist things he's not
00:26:44.040 he that wasn't ever his issue so it seems quite clear that first of all he's in only in the white
00:26:49.880 house do the powers that be in the democratic party like a warren harding kind of situation the men in
00:26:54.920 the smoke-filled rooms no one liked biden he was doing terribly in the primaries then phone calls
00:27:00.660 came and the party's like all right we got he's our guy to stop bernie sanders and there's been very
00:27:06.200 little leadership from like obamacare was obama's decision you know pelosi uh was the one kind of behind
00:27:12.560 the mechanics of it but he it was clearly his big vision biden doesn't have vision at all he can't
00:27:19.440 even get up the steps so you know i think that's actually correct that if the republicans take over
00:27:25.860 congress uh that he's i i don't think it's just going to be stalemate which is frankly my most preferred
00:27:32.360 method of governance in washington um well yeah i like it when they're not i like it when they're not
00:27:38.420 doing anything but there's a lot of stuff that needs to be reversed or or sure we can't have we
00:27:43.120 can't have nothing going on for two years uh we need some things reversed and they can do it if they
00:27:50.820 stop the continuing resolutions and actually yes produce a budget they do that of those good
00:27:56.960 of those three races which do you think is the most likely to switch to republican between georgia
00:28:02.280 pennsylvania and arizona i think they're all going to but yeah but which is most likely
00:28:07.960 it's a tough one right it's a tough one georgia or arizona yeah that right i think the arizona also
00:28:19.080 even though blake is doing the worst of the three in the polling yeah but carrie's doing so well
00:28:24.240 yeah yeah that's the thing she's i think it's it's the other the other thing is the pennsylvania
00:28:30.300 governor is going to be a drag on oz he's doing significantly worse than us in the polls but
00:28:35.920 governor kemp in georgia his coattails because he's beating the incumbent stacy abrams um by
00:28:42.860 a significant margin all the polls that might be enough to pull harsher walker over the finish line
00:28:48.440 as well only because only because michael they have suppressed the vote i mean yes they set all kinds
00:28:56.680 of records for early voting but there's suppression there what could it have been if they weren't
00:29:02.820 suppressing the vote america's worst vote suppressors the thing that's that's great about about why i'm so
00:29:09.600 hopeful about the future of this country before the internet you would not be able to have uh
00:29:15.360 instantly someone putting together a compilation of all the times stacy abrams claimed that the election
00:29:21.060 in 2018 was stolen from her yeah and then when she opens the debate you know just lying and saying oh
00:29:26.300 yeah i've always i never said this you could you're not gonna have to rely on the new york times or cnn
00:29:31.300 or even fox to play the footage you can just go go on twitter here's the compilation watch it for
00:29:37.160 yourself this is just put together her own words and very clearly people see okay these people have no
00:29:42.680 problem not only lying but lying about things that are very easily disprovable you know it's really weird
00:29:48.820 i i hadn't thought of it that way because i remember going is anyone going to point this out
00:29:54.480 yeah i mean i've done this for 40 you know 45 years is anyone going to point this out you don't have
00:30:00.520 to now people are doing it in social media and you're right i mean within an hour somebody has done it
00:30:08.580 it's fantastic it's really really great and carrie lake's being very good with that she's got something
00:30:13.360 called the carrie lake war room and she just is nuking journalists left and right i have have you met
00:30:18.260 her yet yeah i've had her on my show it was it was it was quite an edifying conversation yeah i
00:30:24.140 really really like her i i think i i just was with her a couple of weeks ago and uh said uh after
00:30:31.880 talking to her in person and really you know having just a good eye-to-eye conversation i think this
00:30:38.860 woman if she does well in governing um if she is a ron de santis style governor that woman could be the
00:30:49.540 first u.s president she i mean she's remarkable remarkable or or she could be another liz trust
00:30:57.460 yeah that didn't go well at all did it they're just gonna bring boris johnson back now is that
00:31:05.200 really what that's really what they're talking about doing incredible i think it's for those
00:31:09.540 that don't know we're talking about the british prime minister who stepped down at the 44 days
00:31:12.400 or 45 days i remember what it was but it's kind of funny like you guys are saying they're thinking
00:31:15.880 about comparing boris johnson it's kind of like when you have a band and they recast the lead singer
00:31:19.660 and like no one likes him it's like you know what let's bring back the old guy yeah who cares if there's
00:31:23.880 problems with him people like to meet a little more it's michael malice thank you so much uh michael
00:31:29.980 malice you can uh find him in his uh in his podcast he's great the best of the glenbeck program
00:31:40.840 welcome to the glenbeck program michael malice is joining us now host of your
00:31:53.620 welcome podcast that is just great he is uh talking to us about the three biggest senate races
00:31:59.760 in the country uh but i i also want to talk to him about some of the tweets he put out about the
00:32:06.800 number of democrats in the house in the last 100 years um there is you know there is a slim but there
00:32:13.820 is a possibility this becomes historic we'll talk to him about that first let's go to pennsylvania
00:32:18.300 georgia and arizona hello michael good morning uh are you as excited for election night as i am
00:32:24.400 i actually am because i know what we have planned some of the things we have planned
00:32:30.720 oh i don't mean us personally on the blaze i just meant i think this is going to be really one of
00:32:35.780 those epic election nights where a lot of very bad people are going to be very upset oh i hope the
00:32:41.520 light of the audience i hope i hope um i i feel weird predicting but i'm i'm gathering a sense of
00:32:51.400 real optimism here if people go out and vote yeah i also think what's what i'm most looking forward to
00:33:00.140 and i would bet you agree is that many republicans have and both republican politicians and republican
00:33:07.320 voters have been tried to be the the recipients of a tactic they tried in 2016 which is you cannot vote
00:33:14.800 for this person this person is anathema taboo whatever word you want to use and you do not
00:33:21.100 have a right to choose this person as your candidate i'm specifically thinking of kerry lake
00:33:25.360 who's probably been hit harder than any other candidate she's running for governor in arizona
00:33:29.140 she's ahead in most of the polls or one point behind in some of the others the fact that glenn
00:33:33.960 youngkin who by most accounts seems to be kind of a milquetoast generic republican went out of his
00:33:40.020 way to campaign for her uh is and especially when people like mike pence campaigned against her
00:33:45.600 in the primary is very very telling because this is showing how the corporate media's attempts to
00:33:51.540 define who is acceptable and who is not acceptable both for republican primary voters and for the general
00:33:57.160 electorate to vote for that power is falling away rapidly and that is to the great health uh it is
00:34:04.560 as they would put it our democracy it is the fact that we are pulling away from our parties that we
00:34:11.180 are questioning all politicians um and we are waking up to the fact the media has been lying to us
00:34:18.420 is that is a good sign of health for the republic and the fact that kerry lake you know they they have
00:34:26.380 this they have this thesis um you listen to pundits on you know most media networks and uh you read
00:34:32.400 their articles they had this thesis that trump is basically like the head vampire right and once we
00:34:37.780 get rid of trump everything is going to go back to normal we all saw those movies you kill the head
00:34:41.420 vampire all the other vampires vanish and i've often said that trump wasn't the river he was the dam
00:34:46.400 you get rid of him you're going to have this you know river of people that corporate media would not
00:34:51.580 like and kerry lake is and and governor de santis of course are very much playing in the trump handbook
00:34:58.300 in the sense of taking the fight not specifically to the democrats but to the journalists who are
00:35:03.560 carrying water and running interference for them i'm sure you saw it earlier this week when they were
00:35:08.000 yelling at her for being an election denier and she just busted out the receipts of stacy abrams in
00:35:12.720 2018 hillary clinton and who knows how many others uh in 2016 calling trump's election illegitimate
00:35:19.060 and saying governor kemp in georgia his election was stolen so it's honestly it's what so many of us
00:35:25.180 have said the whole time stop being afraid stop yeah stop giving in tell the truth but it's also the
00:35:34.840 inverse the as another arizonan john mccain learned they're never going to like you or they're only going
00:35:40.920 to like you in so far as you're doing their bidding and the second you are in the way of their schemes
00:35:47.220 as became found out in 2008 they will throw you under the bus so fast it would leave you skid marks
00:35:52.980 from california to maine yeah um so talk to me about um fetterman oh my favorite candidate um
00:36:02.140 of this year i sent him money this week uh just because it's be fun right oh yeah well i mean i don't
00:36:09.940 i'm not sure if they literally shaved the chewbacca or they found lurch um and they kind of took him
00:36:16.720 from butler to being in the senate uh he needs a um cello prompter to even hear the questions
00:36:24.300 which frankly in this day and age makes him presidential more than anything rather than
00:36:28.340 being a senator he should be running for biden's seat in delaware to be honest you know because of
00:36:33.000 the brain damage uh and his wife i don't know if you saw this glenn she was very upset at that
00:36:37.700 reporter who was asking very benign germane questions about look you need a prompter to
00:36:43.320 hear what i'm saying voters are concerned about your health is this a concern uh you know how dare
00:36:49.040 you question the the health of a man who most recently had a stroke right how dare you how dare
00:36:56.800 you sir um i have to tell you i i want to see i would pay money in fact if anybody can produce this
00:37:03.660 in a realistic way i mean i might pay you money for the i i want to see him and gene wilder on the
00:37:12.400 stage doing putting on the ritz i just think but not it is it's john fetterman but the thing that i'm
00:37:23.340 very surprised about and i'm glenn i'm curious to hear your thoughts as well the two the two big kind
00:37:28.620 of swing races where you had these kind of odd candidates uh celebrity candidates was georgia
00:37:33.360 and pennsylvania dr oz who obviously has no political background particularly herschel walker
00:37:37.580 football star um had no particular political background either in georgia both were nominated
00:37:42.160 by the republicans in large part due to their name recognition and their bank accounts and
00:37:47.540 oz looked dead in the water he was running a terrible campaign republicans weren't buying it
00:37:52.740 but now he's in better shape than herschel walker more importantly he has the momentum uh he was
00:37:58.940 behind in all the polls you know not that long ago and now he's caught up or a point or two behind
00:38:04.120 so i think that is a big surprise that he's looking to be in many ways a safer bet than walker in georgia
00:38:10.780 are you surprised to see that happen glenn um i am but i i wouldn't count herschel walker out um i think
00:38:17.100 herschel walker is going to win i don't know if you saw the debate but i think he's gonna win
00:38:21.960 i i agree with you i think he's gonna win and the reason is we haven't had a wave election
00:38:27.340 in i think like eight years 2020 the it wasn't a wave election because republicans picked up house
00:38:33.440 seats in 2018 it should have been uh excuse me in 2018 it wasn't a wave election 2016 you know trump

00:39:49.560 i did know that by his own words yeah no i know he's not like that he's an he used to be a neighbor

00:40:09.000 it under control i think he knows you know what caused it and and uh and uh you know what the
00:40:16.220 effects are well i i mean i i think most people know what the effects of russian roulette are yeah
00:40:21.620 i know and and i think this is the kind of thing i'm russian but you know i guess technically if i
