00:00:00.000 welcome to the podcast today we talked to a gym owner in new jersey now you may have seen the

00:00:03.720 video where the you know the cop comes in and he basically says he's not going to arrest anyone

00:00:08.540 and the crowd goes crazy uh there's an unfortunate development in that story we'll talk to you about

00:00:13.980 also uh we discuss the developments with joe biden and ukraine we have recordings now of

00:00:22.280 conversations between biden john kerry uh and poroshenko the former president we'll get into

00:00:27.700 those james rollins uh who's a huge fiction author best best-selling fiction author he comes on and

00:00:34.640 talks about what he's learned with his research about these diseases and the people who robbed a

00:00:40.160 bank with a watermelon mask it's all coming up today on the podcast make sure you subscribe at

00:00:46.160 blaze tv.com slash glenn use the promo code glenn for 10 bucks off and subscribe on the podcast to not

00:00:56.900 episode of that uh also on youtube just go to youtube search for stew and i'll be the first

00:01:00.980 one there here's the podcast you're listening to the best of the glenn back program

00:01:12.500 all right so last night i did a tv show on the new civil rights era and and i think we are in

00:01:25.740 a civil rights crisis i think we are headed for trouble uh because some of these states are

00:01:35.300 absolutely out of control thank god it's not coming from the federal government thank god we have the

00:01:42.040 federal government to run to and say hey uh justice department can you investigate this

00:01:46.460 so do you remember i think it was on monday when uh we played the audio of that cop in new jersey

00:01:53.320 opening up the uh the gym in new jersey the attilis gym and he said you're all in violation

00:02:01.420 but have a nice day and i said on the air it feels like a do you believe in miracles moment you know

00:02:10.660 kind of that moment of the of the olympics in the 1980s well i got an update for you

00:02:16.720 that same cop that same guy came back to the gym 50 minutes later and started arresting people after

00:02:26.820 the cameras had gone he comes back and starts arresting people now i don't know what happened

00:02:32.220 i don't know if he got his head handed to him i don't know but i mean it shows it very at the best

00:02:39.220 it shows he believed in something then got his head handed to him and he folded on what he believes

00:02:46.120 i don't know if that i don't know what happened but somebody who might is the owner of the attilis

00:02:52.460 gym his name is ian smith because he's got even more bad news this gym has now officially been closed

00:03:01.160 ian welcome to the program how are you i'm good glenn how are you hi i'd be better if your story was

00:03:08.800 better first of all let's start with the uh let's start with the cop do you know anything about this cop or

00:03:15.740 or how did he leave a hero and come back 50 minutes later and start arresting people

00:03:22.240 um we we are very close-knit with with local law enforcement at our gym uh our gym is is full of

00:03:31.360 uh law enforcement first responders uh active and and veteran military um sure a lot of these a lot of

00:03:39.140 these guys you know we know on a very personal level um i have never met um that individual um

00:03:45.200 although i mean i guess now i know him um yeah he came um and and that that first sort of video clip

00:03:52.520 where uh where everybody was rejoicing and chanting usa usa usa was um was i what i believe to be his true

00:04:00.180 feelings um when he came back later uh about 50 minutes later it just so happened to be about 10 minutes

00:04:06.440 before governor murphy's press conference so that leads me to believe along with with a lot of the

00:04:11.760 other stuff that we've been hearing um that this stuff is coming straight down from the top that

00:04:16.840 these guys are being put in a uh in a position where they they they have to choose between their jobs

00:04:22.900 and their pensions and their livelihoods um or jeez you know or these guys got us they've got to stand

00:04:30.260 up police officers please the people will stand with you they will stand with you you've got to

00:04:37.040 stand up and and risk your job and i know that's a really big thing but i'm telling you the justice

00:04:44.240 department will go all over this if people start firing our cops like they did in seattle for just 0.81

00:04:51.760 speaking out or doing the right thing a it's going to work out well for you in the end because i think

00:04:57.900 that cop in seattle he could be a sheriff anywhere people would elect him in any decent city uh you

00:05:04.360 know not seattle but they they would they would elect him sheriff he'll get another job it will pay

00:05:10.480 tenfold if you just stand okay so now you found out last night that the health department came out

00:05:20.080 and put notices all over your door that you are not allowed to open up because of the health department

00:05:26.140 tell me about that correct um so yesterday uh governor murphy in his press conference uh addressed

00:05:34.580 the gym um and he said he mentioned something about you know continuing to pursue us legally you know

00:05:41.840 which i think i think he he he knows although he won't publicly admit it that he has no legal grounds

00:05:48.160 to shut us down that that we are protected by the constitution and that no matter what he says in his

00:05:52.860 executive orders or how many citations that he's handed us which is three days for us now so we're

00:05:57.340 up to a uh me and my partner up to i think i think seven each um or no seven grand each uh no seven

00:06:04.880 tickets each seven tickets each okay yeah so i i think governor murphy truly knows that that he doesn't

00:06:11.200 have a leg to stand on where that's concerned so um he's you know he's resorted and he very very

00:06:17.060 publicly stated that he's going to get the health department involved um coincidentally uh about

00:06:21.820 two hours later uh our um our sewage system was sabotaged by uh somebody stuffing an entire roll

00:06:30.800 of commercial paper towels down into our toilets to the point where we did have to shut down the gym

00:06:35.240 for the day um oh my gosh backflowing um so we are investigating how that happens but we had

00:06:42.320 three different plumbing crews come out last night that had to bring in some some legit equipment not 1.00

00:06:47.660 just like a snake and a plunger but we had uh we had these specialized trucks that had to come in and

00:06:52.220 um blast water into our pipes in order to clear it out and they they finally got that resolved but they

00:06:58.060 they confirmed that that was very clearly purposely done that wasn't you know oops i i flushed you know one

00:07:04.220 piece of of paper down the toilet it was it was quite deliberate um so we spent the night doing that

00:07:09.940 frank and i left at about nine o'clock and um in the middle of the night somebody had i guess was was

00:07:18.220 kind of passing the gym and they saw that there were four squad cars here in the middle of the night

00:07:22.200 as well as some other unmarked vehicles um posting some stuff on the wall and we have some pictures of

00:07:26.980 that um that we actually just handed over to uh fox 29 news um posting this stuff on the wall in the

00:07:33.760 middle of the night and it is uh basically an order of embargo it says and the the health code

00:07:39.560 violations we looked them up are extremely vague um there's not nothing specific that we did to

00:07:45.820 violate um and then in addition to that no health um department official has ever stepped foot inside

00:07:51.720 of our building as long as we've owned it um so the wording in it is very vague it just you know

00:07:56.720 refers to you know coronavirus spreading and stuff like that but we're the only uh business in the

00:08:02.580 entire strip mall that that seems to be closed um so it's it's a little baffling um i don't understand

00:08:09.900 how they can come in and shut us down without even inspecting our facilities there's there's things on

00:08:14.560 there that mention poor ventilation um you know if you would just step inside our facilities we have

00:08:19.480 an air scrubber inside uh we have an hrack system that works perfectly fine uh the facility is ventilated

00:08:26.560 there's a ton of measures that we've taken so it's flimsy at best uh and we have our lawyers

00:08:31.700 working on it and we plan to open up tomorrow i have to tell you ian i i i'm about to lose my

00:08:38.060 mind and i think america feels the same way i talked to a woman uh yesterday she's a salon owner 1.00

00:08:43.840 um they said they were going to arrest her this is in oregon they didn't arrest her they have

00:08:50.520 threatened to pull her business license yeah and then they sent child protective services to her house 0.99

00:08:58.060 that's crazy this is such an abuse of power that was going to happen to us as well

00:09:04.560 you know we have we have a 15 year old at home um and and you know it it keeps her up at night all of 0.71

00:09:11.300 the potential blowback uh from this you know because she's she's you know she stands behind me um or at 0.97

00:09:17.540 my side with all of this um you know but you know it's um it's it's it's pretty scary when when

00:09:23.720 government organizations are weaponized against uh the public you know the uh department of health

00:09:29.800 is there to protect us you know and for the most part that's that's what they do as their job but

00:09:33.960 you know these these governors are weaponizing these organizations that are meant to protect the

00:09:38.780 public to enforce um you know their will and that that's a pretty scary thing you know and then

00:09:44.060 same thing with with child child protective services you know that that organization is there to

00:09:48.400 protect um children uh but it's being used in in the case of the uh salon owner in oregon as a as a

00:09:55.920 as a weapon against her um and that's that's pretty alarming you know that's that's very scary

00:10:01.100 ian uh stay in touch with us let us know what's happening don't let a day go by if they're upping

00:10:09.420 it if they're using another weapon make sure you reach out to us okay absolutely i'll keep you guys

00:10:15.540 in touch uh and what is the uh what is the go fund me page if people want to help uh you know help you

00:10:22.300 with your legal bills uh so the go fund me was set up uh by one of our members um and that is a

00:10:28.780 defense fund not only for um us as owners but we have a bunch of uh members slash volunteers who have

00:10:36.060 been helping us stay open during this time um as well as all of our members uh because some of them

00:10:42.320 have been arrested and charged um we have set up that legal funds and our lawyers have agreed to

00:10:48.600 represent everybody so that's going to pay for the cost of the lawyers as well as any fines or

00:10:54.920 punishment incurred by any member or patron of the facility or any volunteer as well and that's

00:11:00.660 available on our social media uh there's a link on um excuse me our instagram which is attilis jim belmar

00:11:07.140 um so yeah and we're gonna we're gonna keep pushing forward you know we're we're definitely

00:11:12.460 not going to back down and we are very thankful that our members stand behind us as well and we're

00:11:16.840 going to stand with them good good for you thank you very much the attilis jim.com you can find them

00:12:31.100 so there's a lot of news that is not being reported uh a lot of things like we have talked about

00:12:43.000 the uh trouble of child abuse and domestic abuse in homes that nobody is reporting but

00:12:49.980 the new york post finally is thinking about the average person uh they've just released a story

00:12:58.860 people stuck in haunted homes during quarantine are reporting now a rise in spooky happenings

00:13:07.300 now this story is written by natalie o'neill who natalie good for you for taking on those big

00:13:15.580 yes you're in new york yes you could be reporting on the spooky happenings around cuomo and how

00:13:22.480 everybody old around him seems to die but no you got the real important story the spooky happenings in

00:13:29.760 haunted houses i was intrigued by this story and i wanted to reach out to one of the guys who is

00:13:36.040 is mentioned in this story his name is brent underwood he is the owner of cerro gordo it's a ghost town

00:13:44.000 uh and he says i don't believe in ghosts but spooky happenings have happened brent underwood welcome

00:13:52.460 to the program how are you sir good morning i'm doing pretty good how are you uh well i'm i'm i'm

00:13:58.580 pretty good now you're you bought an abandoned silver mine right uh and and is this in nevada or is

00:14:06.280 this california where is this it's about three hours outside of la so it's in california it's

00:14:13.620 kind of right by mount whitney if that gives you a point of reference in between death valley and

00:14:18.540 sequoia national park okay what a what a what a wild place death valley and sequoia national park

00:14:25.260 right next to each other is crazy um so so tell me you bought this and it looks beautiful you bought

00:14:32.860 this a while back you had heard the stories of the ghost town and everything else but you don't

00:14:38.400 you don't buy into any of that stuff do you no i mean i bought it about two years ago with some

00:14:43.640 friends and it was a town that at one point in time it was the largest producer of silver river

00:14:48.340 california so there was 4 000 residents all the people were telling me that there used to be

00:14:53.260 a murder per week in the town and the miners used to line their bunk bags with sandbags 0.87

00:14:58.500 uh to stop the straight bullets in the middle of the night and so even even stuff like that or

00:15:03.560 there's a cemetery on site and so the the ghost stories were abundant before buying it but i

00:15:09.380 kind of brushed them all away you know i'm i i guess i should say i wasn't a ghost believer

00:15:14.780 um but then about two months ago when when the covid crisis hit our our caretaker we typically have a

00:15:22.260 live-in caretaker that lives here he wanted to go home to be with his wife so i uh packed up my stuff

00:15:27.920 in austin where i typically live and headed out and i've been here ever since

00:15:32.040 uh and so you say you weren't a believer in ghost and now you are what happened

00:15:38.860 i think it goes in increments you know at first it's easy to push away these things and rationalize

00:15:45.000 them away but i think my first entry into that sphere was one night i was walking to

00:15:50.300 watch the sunset and there's 22 buildings here so there's quite a few buildings

00:15:54.300 and one of the buildings is called the bunk house and it's a eight-bedroom house that all

00:15:59.000 the miners used to stay in when they lived here and as i was going past i noticed something in

00:16:04.040 the living room that opened up the curtain and closed the curtain and the light was on in the

00:16:08.520 living room and i hadn't noticed the light had been on in that building before so i went in there

00:16:14.040 and i turned off the light and i put a padlock on the door and keep in mind i'm the only one with

00:16:19.920 the key to this to the padlock and the town's about 30 miles from the closest town and we're

00:16:25.120 up 800 feet 8 000 feet in elevation so it's not like there's squatters in there or neighbors or

00:16:30.440 anything that might be messing around and so i turned off the light went about my day watched

00:16:35.080 the sunset not a big deal um next night i went back to go to the sunset again and the light was on

00:16:40.160 again in the in the living room and so i i unpadlocked it and not only was light on the flip the switch

00:16:45.820 was back up so to me at first you jump to like oh sure it was faulty electricity you know this or

00:16:50.200 that but i think being alone in a town uh with a history like this it definitely raised my kind of

00:16:56.560 like uh i guess inner questions i guess i should say and then a couple nights later in the house

00:17:03.640 all right no go ahead go ahead a couple nights later so a couple a couple nights later i was at the

00:17:09.540 house that i was staying in um in the middle of the night this is probably like three or four in the

00:17:14.400 morning a book fell off the shelf and again this is a house that there's no draft i have no pets up

00:17:19.460 here i don't have a cat or i have a dog there's no rat um and then as i woke up i just had this

00:17:24.240 overwhelming sense that something else is in the house with me and when i did this i i think she

00:17:29.320 just looked towards the ground you know i thought maybe it was like an animal of some type but nothing

00:17:33.300 there and i just couldn't escape the feeling and then after that there's a pretty quick succession

00:17:38.460 that things are moving around you know i wall it went from one house to the other house and just

00:17:42.500 all these things that i couldn't explain where if you're there sitting alone in the middle of the

00:17:47.080 night in a town 30 miles from no from anybody else you start you know jumping to conclusions i guess

00:17:51.960 yeah so that's what i was going to ask you brent i mean you know you're in a town where there are

00:17:58.320 stories of ghosts uh and you're all by yourself in the middle of nowhere i mean i freak out i have a

00:18:05.400 cabin in the middle of absolutely nowhere as well and i've been there by myself at times and when i'm

00:18:11.660 there by myself honestly i keep my gun close because at night you just start hearing things

00:18:17.180 you're like i don't know man what it what was that what was that uh and do you think this i mean was

00:18:23.040 just playing with you your mind was playing with you maybe a little bit but i think i mean similar

00:18:29.180 to your your gun i keep a golf club in the bed with me i don't know how effective golf clubs are

00:18:33.080 against ghosts you know uh you know we'll find out but guns too so right it was it was it i definitely

00:18:40.620 try to rationalize the way i always think you know you know that could be the win that could be

00:18:44.340 this but just the light switch and then my wallet moving is just something that i couldn't explain and

00:18:50.160 i i maybe i bought into it but at this point i've moved from non-believer to let's just find a way

00:18:56.240 to coexist with these ghosts and so how i handle it is i don't go where i know they like to hang out

00:19:00.880 like the bunkhouse and the hotel and these other buildings and i hope that maybe they respect my space

00:19:05.440 all right so hang on just a second i just want to give one more thing so somebody went in or a ghost

00:19:13.620 went in turn on the lights uh you lock them but they somehow or another got past that lock then the

00:19:20.180 next thing you notice is somehow or another your wallet had been moved is it possible that that is

00:19:28.780 something more earthly like someone who is squatting and looking for money in your wallet

00:19:37.960 is that possible i mean when i say these things out loud i know how ridiculous it sounds i'm with you

00:19:43.900 on the right this is insane particularly coming from a guy that's stuck in a town by himself it might

00:19:50.380 sound like i'm going a bit crazy who knows that that might be the case i'm not gonna rule that out

00:19:55.820 either but uh right i searched the building with my golf club i didn't find any squatters

00:20:00.920 i tell you brent the reason why you're on with us is because i read this story and i thought this

00:20:10.440 is ridiculous and then uh when we called a lot of the people and uh sarah who's our booker she said

00:20:17.860 you're gonna love brent because he's like i know this is crazy and i might be crazy because i know what

00:20:23.080 it sounds like and i love your uh i love your take i will i will say brent you know a lot of people

00:20:28.060 would point out um because you say you know you bought into this and you literally did buy into

00:20:33.220 this like you've bought into this business so is it possible that you're being motivated by the idea

00:20:40.000 that more ghosts good for business

00:20:43.340 i didn't think of the ghost because that will move your wallet brent

00:20:50.100 you know listen maybe i'll start listing the ghost as an asset on our business but uh

00:20:57.060 until then yeah don't they leave me alone so are you gonna you're gonna restore this and you're

00:21:03.240 gonna make it a you know like a not a tourist place but like a a kind of a western resort i guess

00:21:10.720 kind of like a lodge yeah i hope to one day renovate the buildings uh that's what i've been

00:21:16.160 working on when i'm up here to allow more people to come and stay and experience the history and the

00:21:20.020 natural beauty hopefully not the ghosts but you know everything else i guess well i don't know i don't

00:21:26.140 know people might pay extra for the ghosts so you might want to you might want to keep that one to

00:21:30.520 yourself uh brent thank you so much for talking to us i i appreciate it yes another result of covid19

00:21:40.440 right here an underreported ghost sighting brent underwood uh we'll talk again when you open up

00:21:48.240 your open up your lodge thank you so much this is the best of the glenbeck program and don't forget

00:21:57.400 rate us on itunes okay this you're gonna love this the blaze and elijah shaffer is uh reporting today

00:22:12.260 uh on uh the madness of twitch now twitch is a uh gamers platform and uh they have just added a new

00:22:24.920 member to their moderation team a transgender who identifies as a deer 1.00

00:22:32.240 they're going to be the monitor of freedom of speech and what's allowed and what's and what's not

00:22:42.480 now i just you know i think i've said enough already but let me let you hear from this deer

00:22:51.280 uh and uh what he or she has uh said this is steph lauer uh and here's what she said let's uh take cut

00:23:02.700 one uh of steph so i'm hanging in there and i'm not going anywhere i have power they can't take it away

00:23:13.300 from me and honestly you know i the the these there there are some people that should be afraid of me

00:23:23.160 um and that they are because i i represent uh moderation and diversity and

00:23:29.440 i'm gonna come for hurtful harmful people if you're a really 1.00

00:23:34.640 person and i'm gonna stand up against you

00:23:36.620 hmm so people should hear me okay um now she's on a gaming platform and

00:23:45.000 here's what she thinks about gamers listen to this well no i just i'm just not cool with white

00:23:52.920 supremacy y'all it's really not that i think a lot of you gamers are actually white supremacists

00:23:58.820 sorry just a fact of how i feel

00:24:04.340 wait that's totally different a fact and a fact about how you feel are totally different things

00:24:12.180 no facts feelings are facts no feelings are facts it might be a fact that you should be that way but

00:24:17.440 what does that mean you should be banned now uh here she is talking about what she likes to do 0.86

00:24:25.220 in her off times um so in my in my spare time stop stop stop freeze that frame can you freeze that

00:24:35.220 frame she's wearing antlers i just if you're if you're missing uh you're missing a lot if you're

00:24:42.260 not watching us on blaze uh but she's wearing antlers uh and she's a good-looking woman a deer 1.00

00:24:49.020 a female deer a doe a deer a female deer anyway go ahead play this outside my yard in my spare time

00:24:56.480 i go out to my yard and i and i prance around and i and i eat grass

00:25:01.700 and i just watch it because it helps me feel like in tune with my dear self

00:25:09.180 thank you no stew is this real like i that's what i was just gonna ask do you think this is real

00:25:25.180 i gamers are racist she's on she's on twitch that doesn't make any sense uh you know she likes to go

00:25:35.340 eat grass i mean maybe she is but i i i don't even know anymore it's an amazing conversation

00:25:43.200 the idea that we actually think it could be real right uh but i mean i mean elijah sure knows this

00:25:49.720 world better than i do 10 years ago i would say this is absolutely bogus but today

00:25:57.460 yeah so and what else is in the news i mean that that today this makes sense and i would say too

00:26:07.980 there i mean a good chunk of the country has absolutely no right to say anything other than

00:26:13.180 it's true and you should respect her as a deer a doe a female deer whatever a female deal fine yes

00:26:22.580 i don't fall into the category that that would that would say that but there's no reason to

00:26:28.500 if you're going to say a guy can just identify as a woman whenever he feels like it why can't they 0.71

00:26:35.200 identify as a doe why not again like you're not because there's no physical characteristics that

00:26:43.880 coincide with being a doe what does that have to do with it right what does that have to do with it

00:26:48.460 nothing ellen explained this a long time ago i remember on her show is saying like you know

00:26:55.020 it's a it's a it's a it's a way you feel in your mind when you're talking about gender it's a way

00:27:00.200 you feel in your mind well all right i don't know what that has to do with society like it's whatever

00:27:04.200 you want to feel in your mind i don't know why we would change any policies based on that but if

00:27:08.760 that's what you're talking about okay whatever but that's not something that necessarily affects

00:27:12.740 anyone else that's that's you so there's your little head there i'm being kind there's at least 0.94
