00:02:23.180 the latest is and what you guys are facing uh okay so last time we spoke i think we were about midway

00:02:31.100 through the week that we uh we had first opened in may um and like you said at first the police weren't

00:02:37.160 doing anything and then governor murphy put the screws to them and and um threatened to withdraw

00:02:43.340 funding from the from the department if they didn't hand out citations so we were getting hit

00:02:47.780 with citation after citation uh that week my partner and i got 12 in total um and then the health

00:02:54.440 department was then weaponized against us and eventually by the end of the week governor murphy got

00:02:58.560 uh judge robert loogie uh who is sort of his right hand man and signs off on anything that he wants

00:03:04.180 uh to shut us down via a court order and had our locks physically changed on us by the end of the

00:03:09.320 week um we worked through the court system and um it took about a little over a month to get them

00:03:16.720 opened uh and then we resumed operations uh outside and then eventually inside on july 4th

00:03:23.460 uh july 4th we said we had we had enough of sort of dragging the entire gym outside and we decided

00:03:29.320 you know what better day to get arrested than independence day um so that that didn't come for

00:03:33.960 almost another two two weeks and on uh monday morning this week um after we lost a contempt of

00:03:40.580 court case uh last friday um in which the governor requested that the judge grant him uh extraordinary

00:03:48.220 measures to stop us um my partner and i had removed the doors from the building uh so that they could not

00:03:54.800 physically change our locks we had two weeks worth of clothing and we were prepared to stay inside for

00:03:59.600 as long as possible until we were forcibly removed uh we were inside for four days and come monday

00:04:04.760 morning at 5 10 uh in in the a.m um the county sheriffs uh came in with the county prosecutor and had

00:04:12.500 us forcibly removed handcuffed arrested uh and uh booked while uh governor murphy then constructed a

00:04:19.120 a plywood barrier over where our doors used to be uh we were charged with three charges they are

00:04:25.600 they're extremely petty charges they're fourth degree obstruction uh fourth degree disorderly persons

00:04:31.080 and uh a uh a violation of an emergency powers act which is such an archaic statute that uh my

00:04:39.420 partner and i had a good laugh as we were sitting in the holding cell because the police were trying

00:04:43.380 to put it into the computer um and it's such an archaic statute that the computer didn't even

00:04:47.360 recognize what it was so they had to write it manually so so what are you guys really facing now

00:04:55.100 ian um actually today we have um we have our hearing on those first 12 charges um so uh i guess we'll

00:05:04.920 kind of see what what comes with that you know how the judges want to handle that um oddly enough we

00:05:10.820 are the only cases in the entire state that have not been dismissed by the attorney general um all of

00:05:16.620 the cases that that went with the um the george floyd protests uh for rioting and and protesting all

00:05:23.480 got dismissed um however uh frank and i's uh charges have remained firm and they will not be dropping

00:05:29.720 them they're looking to prosecute us um and i guess we'll see how that turns out today uh and then on top

00:05:34.800 of that we got three new charges each on monday um so we'll see how that turns out it's probably going

00:05:40.660 to be a lot of fines um potential jail time i guess if if he wants to go and and and do that um it is

00:05:48.060 in it is in the you know the statute that we could potentially face some jail time for it but i guess

00:08:44.520 hearts they know what's happening is wrong too um so the the range of support has been absolutely

00:08:55.840 and and figure out how they can help or or say a kind word or tell us that they are behind us um

00:09:12.160 crumbled by now but but the fact that there are so many people that are invigorated by what we are

00:30:12.860 broke into tears and she said but i've lost my family over this they won't talk to me my parents

00:30:18.900 won't talk to me i've lost my friends over being conservative and she said i i you know i don't know
