Ronan Farrow has been accused of lying about some of the stuff going on in his new book, "The Devil Next Door." Was he lying about the accusations against Matt Lauer and others? Glenn and Jason discuss whether or not Farrow is a fraud. Jason also previews tonight's TV show where we re talking about Biden and Ukraine, and the latest audio tape that you have to hear of Biden going through the stuff that you ve been talking about for a long time in Ukraine. Plus, an Oregon salon owner fined $14,000 for staying open despite the stay-at-home orders. And Stephen Moore, the economist who worked with President Trump on his economic plans, has a new movement he s starting here to try to get the economy going again. And a new development with a parallel universe that you should know about.
00:14:52.600Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Lindsay, how are you so calm about this?
00:14:57.860I'm not, I'm, I'm livid and I've already cried and bawled and screamed. And I, I have, I have no
00:15:05.460words for, for the tactics that the government's using against me, but I've had time to kind of
00:15:09.960to adjust my thinking and, and come up with a plan of attack, um, or defense even if you will.
00:15:17.680Um, I'm not calm, but I have a really great team of attorneys and we are going to tackle this
00:15:22.160head on because it's very, very clear that there is bullying and intimidation by the government
00:15:27.040directed at me and my family and my business. I, when, I mean, you come after my business.
00:15:33.720That's one thing you come after my family. Oh my gosh, I would lose my mind. I'd lose my mind.
00:15:40.860Um, so this is, you think this is being coordinated from the governor's office?
00:15:46.180Uh, I do. Yes, I really do. Um, and there's been some things that have come to light that can
00:15:51.480back that theory up, uh, very prominently. And so we are confident that there is, there
00:15:58.140are higher ups that are conducting these, pulling these strings directed at me.
00:16:02.880Can you, can you tell us any of those things that have come up?
00:16:07.660I don't believe I can. They just, they, my attorney found them yesterday. And, um, but I think
00:16:13.620eventually they will come to light and they'll come to light in court. Um, but we are,
00:16:17.320we are shocked at some of the things that we're finding out that have been done. So, uh, I,
00:16:25.600I would encourage the verification and it's going to be interesting.
00:16:29.020Why did you open up in the first place? Why don't you just go along to get along? Why don't you just
00:16:34.900do that? I would have loved to have done that, but I also would have loved to have kept my home and
00:16:40.220kept my businesses and kept, you know, the, the life that I've worked 15 years for. Um, my husband and I
00:16:46.480own six businesses and we actually, I actually took four weeks off for maternity leave before the
00:16:51.800quarantine. And so we had not budgeted for a government shutdown. No one would, no one has
00:16:57.860budgeted for a government shutdown. And at the four week mark, I said, listen, we're going to lose
00:17:05.000these businesses. We're going to, we're choosing to pay our mortgage instead of the leases on these.
00:17:09.700The, the government hasn't come through with their loans and their grants and their unemployment money
00:17:14.720that we don't want anyway. We want to, we want to work and we want to run our businesses the good
00:17:18.260old fashioned American way. We're hard workers. And at four weeks I said, we can't survive this.
00:17:23.160If I don't go back to work and we make most of our income for me being a hairstylist and taking
00:17:30.740clients and having my salon open. And honestly, I wanted my, my stylists that, that work there to
00:17:36.880be able to come in and run their business and do their clients. So I said, ladies, I'm doing this.
00:17:43.200And if you want to join me, let's, let's make a living because you know, we're all going to lose
00:17:47.980everything we've worked for if we don't. And so that was the decision I made. And, um, I actually
00:17:53.420didn't mean for it to go public. I shared a story about it in a Facebook group and, um, I didn't
00:17:59.140realize it was a public group and it started getting shared. So I went, Oh, well, this is making the news
00:18:03.860news now. So I guess I have to do it. Um, right. And is that, do you think is that, is the town
00:18:11.040supportive of you at all? Um, I'm, I'm really disappointed in Oregonians. They are, they are
00:18:16.880less supportive of me than the entire nation is. When this went local, um, I had to endure quite a
00:18:23.420bit of verbal and, and, uh, keyboard abuse. You got to get out of there. Um, you got to get out of
00:18:28.400there. Sincerely, you got to come to Texas, our governor, they put a, so they put a in Texas, in
00:18:34.840Dallas, they put a salon, uh, owner in jail and our governor and our governor went nuts and she's
00:18:41.400out of jail and we're not arresting anybody anymore. Uh, I mean, that's, that's what you need. This,
00:18:46.980this governor is, I mean, your whole state's out of control. Right. All we're asking for is a little
00:18:53.000support. We're, I don't understand how that's a controversial or political issue to be able to
00:18:58.960earn your living. So I'm, I'm very confused why this is such an uproar that I needed to work and
00:19:04.260provide for my family. It's very interesting to watch, but it's, it's, I'm very thankful the
00:19:09.980nation has rallied behind me. I'm getting positive, encouraging messages and prayers from all over
00:19:14.960America. And I am brought to tears most days from the support. So very thankful for that.
00:19:20.940That's great. Lindsay, thank you so much for talking to us. We're going to follow your story
00:19:25.340when, when you please stay in touch with us. Our producers will stay in touch with you,
00:19:29.880but we want to know what's going on. And if there's any way we can help you, um, we will
00:19:34.280absolutely stand with you. So thank you so much, Lindsay. Thank you so much. God bless. You bet.
00:19:40.640Um, tonight, this, this is another Rosa Parks and there's going to be a lot of people on left.
00:19:47.720How dare you? What, what was, what was Rosa Parks? What was she doing? She just wanted to
00:19:53.160ride a bus. No big deal. Just ride a bus. I just, I just look, the seats are, the seats are empty
00:19:58.580here. Uh, if somebody, if somebody who's white comes in and they want to sit down, I'll, I'll even
00:20:05.840get up, but there's nobody on the bus. I'll sit here. That wasn't good enough. That's so simple.
00:20:12.540This, it's the same thing here. This is somebody saying, look, I, I, I've got to put food on my
00:20:16.860table. I have a food on my table and I'll do all of your little, you know, masks, things and
00:20:23.180everything else. I'll do all that, but I'm going to go back to work because I'm going to lose
00:20:28.420everything I have. And so are all the people that work around me and worth with me. So I want to do
00:20:33.220that. That's a right. That is a right. You have a right to feed yourself. You have a right
00:20:39.800to be able to pursue your happiness. Yeah. I mean, obviously the intent of the underlying
00:20:46.400policy is, is a lot different, but when you talk about the base need here, this is the need to,
00:20:51.940the most basic need you can have. I need to be able to feed my family. I need to have shelter.
00:20:57.340People came here because they could be free to chart their own course. Anything that, that stands
00:21:04.760in the way of doing that, uh, is absolutely beyond reason. When you're talking about something like
00:21:12.640the Corona virus, flatten the curve, we flatten the curve, open the country back up. And you know,
00:21:18.700it's amazing. If this was Donald Trump doing this, the woman, if they were, she, if she was, uh,
00:21:24.360being, being, having feds come in and sicked on her because of Donald Trump, the press would be all
00:21:30.740over it. But because it's an Oregon governor and because it's a Democrat, oh no, no, everything is
00:21:36.880fine. This is obscene. It's a new civil rights movement. And I want you to watch tonight. We're
00:21:43.040going to have, we have a whole, a whole hour of these kinds of people who are standing up because
00:21:47.880something's happening in America. It's a new civil rights movement. And we'll show it to you tonight
00:21:53.020at nine o'clock only on blaze TV. Please join us and become a member. This is the best of the
00:22:01.780Glenn Beck program. Hello America. And welcome to the program. Let me give you a story on Ukraine.
00:22:10.540That's just breaking. Now the infamous story of Joe Biden's effort to force the firing of Ukraine's
00:22:16.560chief prosecutor in 2016 has taken a new legal twist in Kiev or Kiev, just as the former vice
00:22:24.000president is sewing up his presidential nomination in America. In Kiev last month, district court judge
00:22:31.840S.J. Volk ordered the country's law enforcement services to formally list the fire prosecutor,
00:22:40.020Victor Shokin, as a victim of an alleged crime by the former U.S. vice president, Joe Biden.
00:22:46.560According to an official English translation of the ruling obtained by just the news, the court has
00:22:54.240previously ordered the prosecutor general's office and the state bureau of investigation in February to
00:22:59.160investigate Shokin's claims that he was fired in spring 2016 under pressure from Biden because he was
00:23:06.520investigating Burisma holdings. The court ruled that there is now adequate evidence to investigate his
00:23:13.020claims that Biden pressured the then president, Petro Poroshenko, including a threat to withhold a
00:23:21.100billion dollars in loan guarantees. But when the law enforcement agencies opened the probe, they refused
00:23:26.660to name Biden as the alleged perpetrator of the crime, instead listing the potential defendant as an
00:23:33.500unnamed American. Volk ruled that anonymous listing was improper and ordered the law enforcement agencies to
00:23:42.940formally name Joe Biden as the excuse as the accused perpetrator. This is stunning. Now, there is there is
00:23:53.260audio of this and we bring Jason Batril back in. He is our chief researcher. He has been on this Ukraine
00:24:01.500story now with me for what, almost a year and a half. And we have the audio. Do you want to set this up, Jason?
00:24:09.180Yeah, so I'm not sure which because there's multiple clips, but I think that this clip that we're about to play here is
00:24:16.060Joe Biden and Poroshenko right as they were discussing right after Joe Biden said, hey, can you get this
00:24:23.420prosecutor Shokin fired for me? And Poroshenko calls Joe Biden back up and he says this.
00:24:29.900But before Vice President Biden comes, I just wanted to try to urge you to see if there's a way to get
00:24:38.620by this problem of replacing the prosecutor general. This is John Kerry.
00:24:44.740Because, from my perception, he's blocked the clean-up of the prosecutor general's office and I know the Vice President is very concerned about it and I think it'd be good to try to have some resolution of that before the Vice President comes.
00:25:00.900Yesterday, I met me with the general prosecutor Shokin.
