00:03:54.020 of function research and so I wanted to you know like get an understanding. When did this start?

00:03:58.720 You know what's been the you know the progress of it? What's the history of it? What I found going

00:04:05.260 back to you know old news reports even as far back as 2001 when the program began was that there was one

00:04:11.460 name that continued to pop up over and over and over again that when people would go and find people

00:04:16.880 let's get the side of the story that doesn't want this to continue. And it was the same guy over and

00:04:21.820 over again and his name is Dr. Richard Ebright. And I had followed him on Twitter since the beginning

00:04:27.740 of the pandemic. I didn't really know much about him but I thought this is fascinating. Here's a guy

00:04:32.760 you know I've been following him for two or three years. He's been doing this for two decades. And I

00:04:37.120 thought to myself you know the world has heard Anthony Fauci's side of this story ad nauseum. I think

00:04:44.560 somebody should get this guy's side of the story because it feels like he's probably been right. So

00:04:49.060 I reached out to him called him and he immediately graciously agreed to give me his time. And you

00:04:55.380 know what you see is the result of that. So in the story you go on you know it was right after

00:05:00.460 9-11 and we had anthrax and you know we got to prepare in case they start using bioweapons. And

00:05:07.340 that's when Anthony Fauci started saying we need gain-of-function research. And why was Albright

00:05:14.340 against this? So Ebright or Ebright sorry. Yeah Ebright's position which I think has been vindicated

00:05:23.480 is that the more biological agents that you put in the hands of researchers the more dangerous and not

00:05:31.300 less dangerous that you make it. Because historically and this is true most biological attacks have not

00:05:38.520 been carried out by terrorists. They've been carried out by people who are researchers with access to

00:05:43.660 grind who released them on purpose. And in fact as I'm sure your listeners will remember he said that

00:05:51.560 in 2001 that the final result of the anthrax investigation was not completed until 2008 totally

00:05:58.660 vindicated that. Because the person who released all the anthrax was an authorized government

00:06:04.160 researcher who had you know legal access to the anthrax. That's how he got a hold of it. So he's

00:06:10.440 been right about this all along and every step of the way. And you know I just think it's remarkably

00:06:17.000 prescient how accurate he's been. And I want your listeners if they can to put themselves in his

00:06:25.360 shoes. Because I think it's hard for me to even imagine this. Here he is he's been saying this for

00:06:31.140 20 years. And among other things he said is you know even if nobody releases this on purpose one day

00:06:37.460 you could have an accident. He's been warning about this for so long. You know even if nobody

00:06:42.720 didn't even say that even if it doesn't happen on purpose the we if we are doing this we're going to

00:06:51.560 have so many labs all around the world that it just increases the chance that something will leak

00:06:57.700 from one of them. Right? That's absolutely correct. That's absolutely correct. There was a New York

00:07:03.200 Times did a profile on him 20 years ago and that was the exact point that he made. And here comes

00:07:08.340 2020. He's been he's been saying this. Fauci's been poo-pooing him this entire time saying this

00:07:14.560 definitely not going to happen. And lo and behold here the thing he's been warning about for 20 years

00:07:19.380 happens. And he must have thought to himself finally it's terrible that this has happened but

00:07:24.660 at least I'm about to be vindicated. And amazingly through the efforts of Fauci you know Fauci convinces

00:07:32.600 the world that he's somehow the good guy in all this. I might have lost my mind if I had been trying

00:07:37.340 to warn about this for 20 years. And the guy who's responsible somehow becomes the hero of the whole

00:07:43.160 storage. And he's a registered Democrat. I mean he's testified now in front of Congress and he

00:07:49.820 registered Democrat. He said I voted for by night a Biden sign in my lawn. And so you can't really make

00:07:56.800 this into a partisan kind of thing. So where is he where is he at now? What are people starting to

00:08:04.660 listen to him at all? Or is Fauci still going to win on this gain of function stuff?

00:08:11.240 No he he thinks and I agree that that there is an emerging bipartisan consensus that that something

00:08:17.900 needs to be done. And his testimony I would encourage anybody who hasn't yet because it was

00:08:24.320 not it didn't get as much TV coverage as the Fauci hearing in in in front of the House a couple weeks

00:08:30.640 ago. But his testimony in front of the Senate on Tuesday him and there were three other witnesses

00:08:36.060 I thought was a rare example. Like most of these are just kind of dog and pony shows. Everybody's

00:08:42.640 showboating for the cameras. I really felt that the Democrats on the committee including Gary Peters of

00:08:49.120 Michigan, Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire, they were all asking I thought really good intelligent

00:08:55.080 questions that signaled I think that people are starting to wake up that we got to

00:09:00.620 get a handle on this. I mean this is literally threat to the entire existence of humanity that this

00:09:07.800 continues. I mean we it's tough to say this about a pandemic that killed 20 million and counting but it

00:09:15.260 could have been so much worse given given what they've been working with this entire time. And something

00:09:21.660 does need to be done and I think it is going to be done probably sooner rather than later. Did you talk to him at

00:09:28.140 all about this bird flu thing? Yes. It's it's it's it's remarkable. I mean it's difficult difficult to say

00:09:37.980 for sure. You know kill 60 percent of humanized mice. You know that humanized mice are intended to

00:09:45.420 you know predict with some degree of certainty how many people would actually die if they got the same

00:09:51.100 thing. So we can't say for certain but you think about a virus that could spread as efficiently as

00:09:57.420 COVID did that kills 60 percent of people instead of about one percent of people. Imagine how devastating

00:10:03.980 that could be. And they just they just did this research with no risk benefit analysis. Nobody beforehand

00:10:11.660 said hey wait should we even do this? I mean even the New York Times you know back then just absolutely

00:10:18.460 flipped out about it. I mean they did a an editorial that was not written by a single person but the

00:10:23.580 entire editorial board signed on says this research should never have happened and the virus they

00:10:29.020 created should have been destroyed. And that just wasn't happening. Just didn't happen.

00:10:34.780 So does he think it's going to happen with bird flu? Does he think that this is real?

00:10:39.580 You know it's it obviously is is a concern. I don't know you know where the path of it is going to go

00:10:52.780 but it certainly is a concern among livestock currently in the United States. And just the

00:10:57.900 prayer at this moment is that it doesn't jump into the human population and become transmissible in the

00:11:03.900 way that they intentionally made it so in 2011. We are dealing with a world of mad scientists from the

00:11:12.060 tech world with AI to Fauci and and all of the things that we're doing there with with nuclear weapons. We're

00:11:23.900 we are living in a time where the leadership of science has gone insane insane and we're going to pay a price.

00:12:47.900 this stuff through the mail it's absolutely it's it's insane the the level of of negligence that we
