The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ Guests： Megyn Kelly & Amy Nelson ｜ 4⧸10⧸23

00:00:00.000 What's the biggest story? War with China. The digital currency collapse of the dollar. The spooky euthanasia stuff.

00:00:12.820 Hey, how about the, what was it? The corn, potatoes, tomatoes that are now being made so you can get the vaccine by eating them?

00:00:25.920 It's just a safe time. You know, no one likes needles. Right. You know, what if you were just like when, whenever, whatever meal you had, it just cured a few couple of diseases, you know, make sure that everybody has their vaccines. Yeah. That's going to, that's a good way of doing things. This is really, it's a spooky world. There's a lot of stuff like that in the show today. And you get to that point where I think it feels a little overwhelming. All right. There's too much to fight. You know, it feels like it just, you just want to kind of give up and go into a hole.

00:00:53.920 I will tell you though, Megan Kelly makes you not want to go into a hole. I mean, she had fighting words. So did Jason Whitlock. He was on today's program. There's some good things that are happening, including a big win up in Seattle against the justice department and Amazon.

00:01:11.920 Amazon. They had destroyed this family's life for three years. Well, a judge just threw everything out of court. You don't want to miss a second of today's broadcast podcast.

00:01:24.780 We start in just a minute. First, let me tell you about our sponsor. It's American giant. We love having American giant as a, as a sponsor because they are cut. I mean, no pun intended. They're cut from the same cloth that we are.

00:01:39.840 They are trying to help make America great again. They're trying to remind us that there's an American giant in all of us. And we've got to start making things here in America.

00:01:53.800 It's what gives us our pride. It's the hard work and the great product that used to mean something. This company started in 2012. A clothing factory was in North Carolina was closing down and they came in.

00:02:08.200 They worked with the factory to invest in new machinery and then re-skilled everybody. Um, 10 years later, they now make some of the greatest clothing in America, but absolutely positively the best hoodie you will ever own ever. The cotton is grown here in America, milled in America, cut and sewn, assembled all of it here in America from American giant.

00:02:34.660 Go to American dash giant.com slash Glenn. That's American dash giant.com slash Glenn.

00:02:51.120 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:02:58.660 Oh, golly. Where do we, uh, where do we even begin? Um,

00:03:02.660 Um, well, let's start here, shall we? Um,

00:03:08.300 let's start with Macron,

00:03:11.540 which always sounds like a cookie to me. Um, but he's the French president. Um,

00:03:16.720 and, uh, Macron,

00:03:19.400 it says that, uh,

00:03:21.620 de-dollarizing might be the thing to do.

00:03:26.480 Um,

00:03:27.360 he said, uh, trading in commodities and other currencies.

00:03:31.400 Um,

00:03:33.400 might be the right thing for France and others.

00:03:37.400 After spending six hours with the Chinese president Z,

00:03:41.460 uh,

00:03:42.280 as part of a three day state visit to China,

00:03:46.040 Macron made it extremely clear that France wants nothing to do with world war three,

00:03:53.640 emphasizing that Europe must employ strategic autonomy,

00:03:57.380 presumably led by France.

00:04:00.380 Um,

00:04:00.840 while speaking with reporters above,

00:04:02.840 uh, you know,

00:04:03.560 aboard the,

00:04:04.300 uh,

00:04:04.600 air force one for France,

00:04:06.220 the French president said that the great risk facing Europe right now is that it gets caught up in a crisis that is not ours,

00:04:15.020 which prevents it from being its strategic autonomy.

00:04:20.000 Hmm.

00:04:20.600 He is calling for a single global world order.

00:04:25.600 He said,

00:04:26.420 we're living in a jungle right now and we have two big elephants trying to become more and more nervous.

00:04:31.460 I don't even understand that.

00:04:33.160 That must be a bad translation.

00:04:35.020 What?

00:04:35.340 Two elephants that are trying to be more nervous.

00:04:39.400 What are you talking about?

00:04:41.360 Someone just threw it into Google translate.

00:04:43.260 Didn't even try to make it bother to me.

00:04:45.060 It's the president of France.

00:04:46.340 They don't ever make sense.

00:04:47.920 Um,

00:04:48.360 if they become very nervous and start a war,

00:04:50.840 it will be a big problem for the rest of the jungle.

00:04:53.720 You need the cooperation of a lot of other animals,

00:04:56.580 tigers,

00:04:57.120 monkeys,

00:04:57.380 and so on.

00:04:58.100 What is he talking to Kamala Harris?

00:05:00.840 It's like,

00:05:01.400 and boys and girls,

00:05:02.940 we need tigers and monkeys, 0.95

00:05:05.960 and maybe even a chicken or two.

00:05:08.640 His concept of strategic autonomy,

00:05:11.060 uh,

00:05:12.340 was enthusiastically endorsed by president Z and the CCP.

00:05:17.140 Uh,

00:05:17.700 they are trying to weaken the transatlantic relationship to accelerate this trend.

00:05:24.580 What's going to do that is,

00:05:26.940 uh,

00:05:28.320 cutting us off at the knees with the dollar.

00:05:31.120 Uh,

00:05:31.720 we are now down in dollar usage,

00:05:35.040 uh,

00:05:35.900 for international trade.

00:05:37.600 We are down now 7%.

00:05:40.160 That is significant.

00:05:44.460 Significant amounts of money are now being liquidated and countries are not using the dollar.

00:05:51.640 This is going to happen very slowly and then all at once.

00:05:56.380 So you're going to see it slip 10%,

00:05:59.240 maybe 15%,

00:06:00.780 and then it's going to be dumped.

00:06:04.280 Um,

00:06:05.440 uh,

00:06:06.860 France said,

00:06:07.940 uh,

00:06:09.540 no,

00:06:09.780 I'm sorry.

00:06:10.340 Uh,

00:06:10.680 China said to France,

00:06:12.160 the question you need to answer,

00:06:13.960 is it in your interest to accelerate a crisis on Taiwan?

00:06:18.980 The answer is no.

00:06:20.900 The worst thing would be to think that,

00:06:23.260 uh,

00:06:23.780 Europeans will become followers on this topic and take our cue from the U S agenda and a Chinese overreaction just hours after he,

00:06:35.980 uh,

00:06:36.380 was headed back to Paris.

00:06:37.980 China launched their military exercises around Taiwan.

00:06:42.760 Taiwan.

00:06:43.420 I mean,

00:06:44.100 um,

00:06:44.740 is going to be trouble for us.

00:06:46.120 Do we have the Lindsey Graham,

00:06:47.380 uh,

00:06:48.240 cut from,

00:06:49.680 I don't know,

00:06:50.120 face the nation or Chuck Todd or whatever the hell those things are.

00:06:52.960 Uh,

00:06:54.080 Pat played it this morning.

00:06:55.760 See if you can get it from him.

00:06:57.640 Uh,

00:06:58.320 it is,

00:06:59.180 it is.

00:07:00.080 I mean,

00:07:00.860 you want to talk about marching off to yet another war.

00:07:05.100 Listen to this.

00:07:06.520 I'm fearful that the Chinese may be setting a conditions to blockade Taiwan in the coming months, 0.99

00:07:13.220 uh,

00:07:13.900 or weeks.

00:07:14.940 And we need to respond forcefully.

00:07:16.960 If they do that,

00:07:18.020 we need to blockade, 0.74

00:07:19.200 uh,

00:07:19.820 oil shipments coming from the Mideast to,

00:07:22.100 uh,

00:07:22.480 to China and,

00:07:24.100 uh,

00:07:24.460 let them know if you blockade Taiwan,

00:07:26.400 we're going to cut off your oil. 0.63

00:07:28.020 So we need to train more aggressively Taiwanese forces so they can fight like the Ukrainians. 1.00

00:07:33.540 Uh,

00:07:33.980 we need to put nuclear tip missiles back in our submarines.

00:07:37.380 Uh,

00:07:37.860 Biden won't do it.

00:07:38.980 The military has asked for nuclear tip cruise missiles to be put back in submarines like the

00:07:43.820 Russia's Russians did. 0.92

00:07:45.300 And we need more forces in the region.

00:07:47.620 I think if you do those things,

00:07:49.260 you could deter a blockade.

00:07:50.720 It sounds though like a ratcheting up of the situation.

00:07:53.580 And if Taiwan is not fully equipped,

00:07:55.580 trained,

00:07:56.160 armed,

00:07:56.620 ready for this.

00:07:57.760 Right.

00:07:58.140 Right.

00:07:58.700 We don't want to be leading to world war three.

00:08:01.460 Listen to this.

00:08:02.420 Well,

00:08:02.800 nobody wants a world war three,

00:08:04.180 but what kind of world do you want to live in?

00:08:05.680 Do you want to live in a world where a, 0.99

00:08:07.040 uh,

00:08:07.860 an island called Taiwan can be taken by China?

00:08:10.700 90% of the high end ships are made in Taiwan.

00:08:13.080 They'd have a monopoly on the digital economy.

00:08:16.060 Do you just want to let Putin take whatever he wants in Europe?

00:08:19.340 I don't want to live in that kind of world.

00:08:20.720 There's no reason for this.

00:08:22.740 Listen,

00:08:22.920 I believe in a one China policy, 0.99

00:08:24.380 but I would be willing to fight for Taiwan.

00:08:28.020 Well,

00:08:28.460 good.

00:08:28.680 Let's send him over.

00:08:29.860 Um,

00:08:30.380 I think that would be fine.

00:08:31.680 The all in favor of sending Lindsey Graham over to Taiwan to fight the 1.00

00:08:35.480 Chinese say,

00:08:36.280 I it's unanimous.

00:08:38.640 Um,

00:08:39.320 Holy cow. 0.89

00:08:42.380 That's amazing.

00:08:43.100 It is truly amazing.

00:08:44.740 We are ratcheting it up.

00:08:46.740 I don't know if you saw some of the documents that came out supposedly,

00:08:50.200 from a Pentagon leak.

00:08:52.160 We don't know.

00:08:53.640 We don't know who is leaking these yet,

00:08:56.440 but apparently they're significant.

00:08:58.580 Uh,

00:08:59.020 they're the most significant leak.

00:09:00.640 They say,

00:09:01.580 uh,

00:09:02.760 since,

00:09:03.400 um,

00:09:04.620 what's his name?

00:09:05.780 That's now over in Russia.

00:09:07.320 Snowden Snowden.

00:09:08.700 Uh,

00:09:09.140 that that's,

00:09:09.960 that's significant.

00:09:11.440 Uh,

00:09:12.040 but it had our battle plans.

00:09:14.260 Uh,

00:09:14.700 apparently it shows that we are already in a war with Russia.

00:09:18.520 Um,

00:09:19.080 shows some battle plans that we have shows how weak,

00:09:22.260 uh,

00:09:23.200 the Ukrainians are actually at fighting.

00:09:27.320 Um,

00:09:27.940 the numbers have been changed,

00:09:29.420 but this could be disinformation.

00:09:32.080 We don't know,

00:09:33.320 uh,

00:09:34.240 which is a,

00:09:34.860 it's a great place to be because,

00:09:36.640 uh,

00:09:37.300 we don't know a lot.

00:09:38.400 It seems in this administration,

00:09:40.560 then Russia and Iran met again this weekend to weaken the U S dollar.

00:09:47.720 Um,

00:09:48.300 during the meeting,

00:09:49.360 Iran expressed the satisfaction with the volume of economic cooperation between a Russia and Iran,

00:09:56.660 praising the path that started to reduce the influence of the dollar in the region and international economic exchanges.

00:10:05.640 We will together limit the dominance of the West over the world economy. 0.98

00:10:10.560 To the minimum.

00:10:12.340 So at least they're,

00:10:13.380 you know,

00:10:14.040 speaking out,

00:10:15.260 by the way,

00:10:16.220 uh,

00:10:16.680 central bank,

00:10:17.440 I would like to remind you again of what my grandfather said.

00:10:20.860 My grandfather always told me as a kid,

00:10:23.060 because when I was growing up,

00:10:24.880 my grandparents were the greatest generation.

00:10:28.620 They were,

00:10:29.280 they lived through the war.

00:10:31.960 And,

00:10:32.580 uh,

00:10:32.780 if you had grandparents like that,

00:10:34.380 they never,

00:10:36.320 ever forgot it.

00:10:39.280 We,

00:10:39.480 my grandmother,

00:10:40.560 back in the seventies and early eighties was still,

00:10:43.580 and my mom too,

00:10:44.460 because of my grandmother still saving all of the wrapping paper.

00:10:48.780 We would open for,

00:10:50.320 you know,

00:10:50.540 open presents for Christmas and we'd have to open them carefully because we had to save it to use it again.

00:10:58.480 Even though all of us kids were like,

00:11:01.380 what are you talking about?

00:11:03.160 There might not,

00:11:03.820 might not be any wrapping paper.

00:11:06.160 You know what I mean?

00:11:06.980 It was like crazy,

00:11:07.940 but that's how bad things were.

00:11:11.380 They never forgot it.

00:11:13.760 You know,

00:11:14.260 they were in their twenties and thirties.

00:11:16.340 And by the time they're in their eighties,

00:11:19.240 they're still like,

00:11:19.920 it could happen at any time.

00:11:22.220 My grandfather said,

00:11:23.940 had we known what rich people and countries were doing,

00:11:29.940 we would have,

00:11:31.900 we would have fared better.

00:11:34.300 Well,

00:11:34.980 you know what the rich countries are doing and the rich people are doing.

00:11:40.400 Central banks have now doubled down on gold buying February.

00:11:45.200 Central bank gold reserves rose another 52 tons.

00:11:49.240 It is the 11th straight month of central bank net gold purchases.

00:11:56.240 Well,

00:11:56.600 I want to say,

00:11:57.560 you know,

00:11:57.800 not all the smart people,

00:11:59.400 you know,

00:11:59.840 we're not buying any gold in our,

00:12:01.520 in our central bank.

00:12:03.620 The people's bank of China increased gold holdings reported 24.9 tons.

00:12:10.080 The fourth consecutive month of reported Chinese gold purchases in the time.

00:12:16.260 China's official gold reserves have grown.

00:12:19.240 By a hundred and two tons of gold.

00:12:23.640 They are clearly planning something.

00:12:26.800 And speaking of that,

00:12:28.760 there was somebody that did a fake interview,

00:12:34.240 uh,

00:12:35.600 and was posing as,

00:12:37.320 um,

00:12:38.780 Vladimir,

00:12:39.220 uh,

00:12:39.960 Zelensky,

00:12:40.820 the Ukrainian president and,

00:12:44.680 uh,

00:12:45.240 got the European central bank president,

00:12:48.280 Christine Lagarde on this video conference.

00:12:52.680 And they were talking.

00:12:54.660 Now,

00:12:55.260 remember one of them is a,

00:12:57.240 I,

00:12:57.880 one of them is a fake,

00:13:00.120 you know,

00:13:01.080 uh,

00:13:01.700 uh,

00:13:02.660 individual,

00:13:03.300 not the president of Ukraine is not the president of Ukraine,

00:13:06.980 but she didn't know it.

00:13:09.880 Here's a little piece of that conversation.

00:13:12.380 There are many protests in Europe,

00:13:14.200 uh,

00:13:14.620 against,

00:13:15.320 uh,

00:13:15.820 the electronic hero.

00:13:17.400 No,

00:13:17.640 the problem is they don't want to be controlled.

00:13:20.040 Uh,

00:13:20.520 they don't want to,

00:13:21.760 uh,

00:13:22.360 yeah,

00:13:23.280 but you know what,

00:13:24.260 you know what,

00:13:25.040 now we have in Europe,

00:13:27.460 this threshold above 1000 euros,

00:13:31.420 you cannot pay cash.

00:13:32.700 If you do,

00:13:33.720 you're on the gray market.

00:13:35.140 So you take your risk,

00:13:36.640 you get caught,

00:13:38.500 you are fined,

00:13:39.740 or you go in jail.

00:13:40.800 But,

00:13:41.280 you know,

00:13:42.600 the,

00:13:42.920 the,

00:13:43.240 the digital euro is going to have a limited amount of control.

00:13:48.080 There will be control.

00:13:49.220 You're right.

00:13:49.880 You're completely right.

00:13:50.760 We are considering whether for very small amounts,

00:13:54.760 you know,

00:13:55.220 anything that is around 300,

00:13:57.340 400 euros,

00:13:58.280 we could have a mechanism where there is zero control,

00:14:01.800 but that could be dangerous.

00:14:03.660 The terrorist attacks on France,

00:14:05.580 uh,

00:14:06.640 back,

00:14:07.340 uh,

00:14:07.600 10 years ago,

00:14:08.460 were entirely financed by those very small anonymous credit cards that you can recharge in total anonymity.

00:14:17.720 Got it.

00:14:18.440 So anyone who says that digital currency is not coming,

00:14:24.460 you're mistaken.

00:14:26.600 It's already in,

00:14:28.640 in,

00:14:29.160 uh,

00:14:29.380 coming down the pike in Europe. 0.65

00:14:31.080 Anyone who tells you that,

00:14:33.280 Oh,

00:14:33.920 well,

00:14:34.140 it's not going to control everything.

00:14:36.660 Listen to what she just said.

00:14:39.500 We'll have,

00:14:40.600 it will have some control,

00:14:42.160 some control,

00:14:42.900 but we're thinking about,

00:14:45.380 you know,

00:14:46.520 uh,

00:14:47.100 what was it?

00:14:47.680 Three to 400 euros.

00:14:49.120 We're thinking all transactions.

00:14:50.420 Yeah.

00:14:50.540 We're thinking about five to $700.

00:14:54.200 You're going to be able to buy something,

00:14:57.120 you know,

00:14:57.500 and it won't be tracked,

00:14:58.940 but anything above that would be tracked.

00:15:01.820 However,

00:15:02.400 that's very dangerous to do because the terrorist could win.

00:15:08.060 That's what she just said.

00:15:10.480 And that's really,

00:15:11.620 really disturbing.

00:15:12.160 And it's three or four times as bad when you realize she's talking to a machine.

00:15:16.660 But like,

00:15:17.260 I get one thing.

00:15:19.180 If we caught her,

00:15:20.160 you know,

00:15:20.700 when I first saw this headline,

00:15:21.660 I was like,

00:15:21.960 Oh,

00:15:22.080 what does she blurt this out on a,

00:15:23.540 uh,

00:15:23.960 you know,

00:15:24.280 a hot mic,

00:15:25.680 you know,

00:15:26.160 how did this?

00:15:26.680 No,

00:15:26.980 no.

00:15:27.160 she's just got fooled by AI.

00:15:30.040 And how many times is that going to happen?

00:15:32.680 Oh,

00:15:33.400 in the next few years.

00:15:34.940 I've got something.

00:15:35.940 I got something that's that everyone said.

00:15:39.760 What are you talking about this for?

00:15:41.820 That'll never happen.

00:15:43.540 You'll never.

00:15:43.900 It is now in the news as a very close call.

00:15:52.060 And we're just at the beginning of AI.

00:15:54.300 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:15:57.980 And we really want to thank you for listening.

00:16:04.080 Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.

00:16:06.760 There's a lot going on.

00:16:10.120 What happened,

00:16:11.120 uh,

00:16:12.040 to Riley Gaines that we found out about Friday is just abhorrent.

00:16:17.120 Um,

00:16:17.380 I think we're seeing the birth of a new civil rights leader.

00:16:20.300 If she has the stamina,

00:16:22.680 uh,

00:16:23.040 uh,

00:16:23.840 to take it.

00:16:24.760 I mean,

00:16:25.120 she is under attack.

00:16:26.720 Megan Kelly joins us now,

00:16:28.280 uh,

00:16:28.980 to talk about Riley Gaines and what happened,

00:16:31.620 uh,

00:16:32.440 at the university.

00:16:33.480 After she spoke,

00:16:34.780 she was attacked.

00:16:36.180 She says assaulted.

00:16:37.880 Uh,

00:16:38.300 I haven't seen the video of that,

00:16:39.720 but I believe her.

00:16:40.680 Uh,

00:16:41.060 and she was kidnapped and held in a room.

00:16:44.600 She wasn't allowed to leave.

00:16:46.300 Um,

00:16:46.840 welcome Megan Kelly.

00:16:47.820 How are you?

00:16:49.260 Hi,

00:16:49.660 Glenn.

00:16:50.020 I'm good.

00:16:50.660 I haven't felt so outraged about a story as I did or just over the whole Friday news

00:16:56.280 cycle,

00:16:56.660 the thing that happened down in Tennessee,

00:16:58.280 the thing that happened to Riley Gaines,

00:17:00.360 the Bud Light and oil of Olay with Dylan Mulvaney.

00:17:03.400 I really,

00:17:04.740 I felt like you,

00:17:06.160 I spent the weekend thinking about what can I do?

00:17:09.400 What can I personally set up in a 501c3 or something to help these embattled women who are fighting like Riley Gaines, 1.00

00:17:19.220 who needs security,

00:17:20.380 who needs to sue these people? 1.00

00:17:22.640 Like there has to be something more we can do.

00:17:25.520 I have to tell you,

00:17:26.220 Megan,

00:17:26.540 I,

00:17:26.840 I don't understand why women are not more upset. 1.00

00:17:31.820 First of all,

00:17:32.280 the Dylan McClvaney thing, 0.94

00:17:34.520 it's just a mockery of women. 1.00

00:17:37.660 Um, 0.96

00:17:38.020 and it truly is woman face.

00:17:40.360 You know, 0.90

00:17:40.780 they say black face when you're a white person, 0.96

00:17:42.800 Don, 0.89

00:17:43.040 this is woman faces.

00:17:44.400 It's mocking.

00:17:45.380 It's minstrelsy.

00:17:46.820 This is not someone who is gender confused,

00:17:50.960 has gender dysphoria and is once a leader,

00:17:54.280 a life as a woman.

00:17:55.180 This is someone who's looking for attention and is making a joke out of womankind. 1.00

00:17:59.880 I do have to tell you,

00:18:02.780 I,

00:18:02.920 all I,

00:18:03.320 I lost track because I thought of a menstrual show,

00:18:06.900 uh,

00:18:07.860 an old time menstrual show,

00:18:09.180 which.

00:18:10.340 Menstrual, 0.94

00:18:10.940 but menstrual works too. 0.99

00:18:13.960 Um,

00:18:14.620 so,

00:18:15.400 um,

00:18:16.020 let's,

00:18:16.480 let's go back to Riley Gaines here for a second.

00:18:19.140 What happened to the police there?

00:18:21.420 I mean,

00:18:21.700 there's,

00:18:22.420 there was no real pushback and the university comes out and,

00:18:27.280 you know,

00:18:27.640 thanks the students who participated peacefully in the event and,

00:18:33.700 and mentioned their bravery.

00:18:35.560 The only one that was brave there was Riley.

00:18:39.700 That's not brave to be in a mob.

00:18:42.960 No,

00:18:43.520 this has not been a great year for law enforcement in and around the city of

00:18:47.860 San Francisco.

00:18:48.780 First,

00:18:49.100 we had the Paul Pelosi debacle where the nine one one operator was out to

00:18:52.220 lunch.

00:18:52.600 Like,

00:18:52.840 gee,

00:18:53.440 okay.

00:18:53.840 Bye.

00:18:54.500 You're okay.

00:18:55.900 Capitol Hill police.

00:18:56.960 Okay.

00:18:57.080 Bye.

00:18:57.640 And the guy's under attack and five times has to be like,

00:19:00.940 well,

00:19:01.120 wait.

00:19:02.020 Uh,

00:19:02.460 and then they basically let him get attacked before they win it.

00:19:05.160 So that's number one in San Frank with the law enforcement out there.

00:19:07.920 Now we see these campus cops,

00:19:09.540 they're letting the victim be further victimized as they try to appease the

00:19:13.880 mob.

00:19:14.740 Perhaps they've forgotten the very point of their job. 0.91

00:19:18.400 And that statement by the disgusting university was about the,

00:19:23.280 was that,

00:19:23.860 that was the most important thing I've seen since the university of

00:19:26.860 Pennsylvania telling the female swimmers,

00:19:29.140 they needed therapy.

00:19:30.480 If they objected from the Thomas swimming in the pool.

00:19:33.080 Can I just go back to what was Riley Gaines's sin?

00:19:37.020 Is she,

00:19:38.160 uh,

00:19:38.920 Matt Walsh,

00:19:40.020 who I love,

00:19:40.800 is she a Matt?

00:19:42.080 Well,

00:19:42.160 no,

00:19:42.340 she's not a Matt Walsh.

00:19:43.760 Riley Gaines is not saying we don't indulge in the trans fantasy at all.

00:19:48.760 Riley Gaines swam against Leah Thomas.

00:19:51.400 She's the one who came in tied with Leah Thomas in the NCAA tournament,

00:19:57.520 the finals,

00:19:57.980 and was given no trophy because they wanted a picture of Leah holding the

00:20:04.420 trophy,

00:20:05.140 a man,

00:20:06.020 uh,

00:20:06.500 not Riley Gaines,

00:20:07.720 an actual woman.

00:20:08.740 And Riley Gaines got a little upset about the way she was treated. 1.00

00:20:12.360 And the fact that she was forced to,

00:20:13.700 to compete against a guy who'd been in the five hundreds as a man,

00:20:17.820 and now was taking national titles as a woman. 0.99

00:20:20.220 And she's spoken out about that piece of the trans movement.

00:20:25.460 That's what got her assaulted, 1.00

00:20:28.300 shouted down.

00:20:29.220 Like she was Hitler incarnate. 0.76

00:20:31.580 If you can't talk about that,

00:20:34.620 we're done.

00:20:35.980 If you can't defend her right to speak up about that,

00:20:39.240 we're done.

00:20:40.200 Women's rights are over. 1.00

00:20:41.900 And Joe Biden has responsibility in this.

00:20:44.080 His administration is actively working to curtail women's rights right now.

00:20:48.900 And these far left activists,

00:20:51.700 half of whom may or may not have a foot in the trans camp.

00:20:55.660 And the other half are just far leftists who want to agitate,

00:21:01.600 who hate reason,

00:21:03.800 who are unattractive,

00:21:05.600 unhappy people who are just glomming on onto any upset.

00:21:09.680 I'm sorry.

00:21:10.580 It's not nice,

00:21:11.580 but why are they all homely?

00:21:13.020 I mean,

00:21:13.380 to a person,

00:21:14.220 Glenn,

00:21:14.520 there's something going on.

00:21:16.880 So,

00:21:17.660 so Megan,

00:21:18.920 I mean,

00:21:19.560 in the age of me too,

00:21:22.700 Riley has said,

00:21:24.080 you know,

00:21:24.540 I'm in a locker room.

00:21:25.860 I turn around and this guy,

00:21:28.620 you know, 0.96

00:21:29.480 has his junk hanging out and, 0.97

00:21:31.720 and he's just staring at me and I'm very uncomfortable. 0.97

00:21:34.800 How is this not a me too thing?

00:21:39.600 Oh,

00:21:40.280 because the media won't do its homework or do any bold reporting,

00:21:45.800 which is required in these situations.

00:21:48.400 The daily wire actually ran an in-depth report on Leah Thomas.

00:21:52.420 And I've kept waiting for a Leah Thomas denial for a Leah Thomas lawsuit.

00:21:58.900 I've reported what they reported,

00:22:00.680 citing them and said,

00:22:01.680 I too will print a denial.

00:22:03.760 If Leah Thomas wants to issue one,

00:22:05.640 I'm more than open-minded to hearing that the report is incorrect.

00:22:08.900 Hasn't happened.

00:22:09.940 What is the,

00:22:10.520 what is the report?

00:22:11.480 On,

00:22:12.040 online,

00:22:13.300 Leah Thomas goes by Leah Thomas with a different spelling and has repeatedly liked,

00:22:19.840 approved of,

00:22:21.600 reposted,

00:22:22.860 uh,

00:22:24.380 posts that support something called autogynephilia.

00:22:28.380 Leah Thomas is a man who is into, 0.89

00:22:32.140 who is sexually into getting off by dressing like a woman. 0.66

00:22:36.540 That's not gender dysphoria.

00:22:38.340 That's a, 0.60

00:22:38.940 that's a fetish.

00:22:40.200 It's a, 0.97

00:22:40.740 it's kink.

00:22:41.840 That's what Bill Thomas,

00:22:44.480 which is Leah's actual name is into. 1.00

00:22:46.640 He gets an erection when he dresses like a woman. 1.00

00:22:50.460 And that is what they subjected the actual women on the UPenn swims team to. 1.00

00:22:56.900 And when they said this man is freaking us out and beating us,

00:23:04.060 which is unfair,

00:23:04.920 they were the ones told to get therapy.

00:23:07.360 That's Leah Thomas.

00:23:08.720 That's what Riley Gaines is out there saying.

00:23:10.740 Hey,

00:23:11.060 this was not cool.

00:23:12.280 And getting shouted down like she's the freak instead of Thomas.

00:23:17.100 What does it say to you that Finland,

00:23:20.940 Sweden,

00:23:22.060 Great Britain,

00:23:23.040 France,

00:23:23.580 they're all going exactly the opposite way that we are going when it comes

00:23:31.240 to children and their sexuality and,

00:23:35.500 you know,

00:23:36.800 transgenderism.

00:23:38.020 They're saying that what we're doing is wildly dangerous and we are now

00:23:43.040 doubling down.

00:23:44.020 It seems on all of it.

00:23:46.340 What,

00:23:46.540 what,

00:23:46.920 what?

00:23:48.180 We've been captured.

00:23:49.280 We we've been captured more so than those other countries by the disease

00:23:53.780 that is woke ism.

00:23:55.620 And it's tearing us apart at the fabric of,

00:23:59.600 of who we are.

00:24:00.800 And there's so few people over here willing to fight back.

00:24:03.740 It's like JK Rowling came out and pushed back against some of the basic

00:24:07.780 things that were happening.

00:24:09.400 Again,

00:24:10.040 JK Rowling is not Matt Walsh either.

00:24:11.660 In fact,

00:24:11.940 she and Matt Walsh have fought online because she thinks he's gone too far,

00:24:15.560 but they treat her like she's a Matt Walsh.

00:24:18.340 Again,

00:24:18.740 I like Matt and I loved what is a woman.

00:24:22.080 But there are so few who want to fight because they see what happened to JK

00:24:24.940 Rowling and they see how rabid these crowds are because of the deep

00:24:30.060 unhappiness pervading their lives here in a very large country.

00:24:34.140 And they don't want to be the next example of it.

00:24:36.840 One of the reasons why the women on the UPenn swim team did not speak out

00:24:40.140 publicly,

00:24:40.840 a few spoke out anonymously and keep in mind,

00:24:44.120 Riley Gaines was not on UPenn.

00:24:45.420 She was,

00:24:45.900 I think Kentucky is they,

00:24:48.540 they said in their anonymous interviews,

00:24:50.540 we won't get hired.

00:24:52.480 This isn't even about swimming.

00:24:53.880 We're not going to get hired in jobs in the real world.

00:24:56.480 If we put our names on these objections,

00:24:59.180 that's how far left our corporations have gone in America.

00:25:03.200 Our colleges have gone to the point where women will sacrifice their own 1.00

00:25:07.900 rights,

00:25:08.540 the rights of their daughters in the name of political correctness or wokeness

00:25:12.800 or not upsetting anybody.

00:25:14.080 And what the Biden administration is doing right now to add to it is

00:25:19.280 absolutely disgraceful.

00:25:20.780 So why isn't this viewed as a civil rights movement?

00:25:28.020 And,

00:25:28.740 you know,

00:25:29.780 where are the,

00:25:30.860 the pastors and priest or priests that are really the ones that usually fill a

00:25:37.060 hole like this?

00:25:38.020 I mean,

00:25:38.800 Riley,

00:25:39.640 she,

00:25:40.120 I mean,

00:25:40.920 she's just a normal person.

00:25:42.960 She's a kid.

00:25:44.020 And she's doing this all because she just believes it.

00:25:48.920 Her security alone would be something that would stop most people from joining

00:25:54.460 her.

00:25:54.720 And I think all of these,

00:25:56.500 all these demonstrations to invoke fear,

00:25:59.660 not to stop her,

00:26:01.040 but anyone else who wants to step out of line,

00:26:04.160 where,

00:26:04.840 where is the beginning of a,

00:26:06.820 of a movement?

00:26:07.520 And I guess that's maybe where you started.

00:26:09.400 You were thinking this weekend.

00:26:11.920 Yeah.

00:26:12.660 You know,

00:26:13.200 I really did think on Friday,

00:26:15.320 this could be an inflection point.

00:26:17.100 What happened to her in this whole battle?

00:26:20.240 I mean,

00:26:20.480 this could be the thing that finally leads the women and men to stand up and say, 0.62

00:26:26.160 we're done.

00:26:27.180 And I think about my own role in this whole thing,

00:26:30.620 Glenn,

00:26:30.880 a lot.

00:26:32.500 I think about how,

00:26:34.200 when this all got started,

00:26:35.260 you know,

00:26:35.500 I have a transgender person in my family by marriage,

00:26:40.740 not my own marriage.

00:26:41.760 Um,

00:26:43.360 and I mean,

00:26:44.060 this person went full bore,

00:26:45.540 the surgery,

00:26:46.660 all of it.

00:26:47.720 And it was deeply traumatic on those around that person in the,

00:26:52.380 in the immediate family.

00:26:53.380 And,

00:26:53.780 but I had sympathy for them because they went through it at a time when there was

00:26:57.360 no support for this.

00:26:58.380 They had to go to Canada to get all the surgeries.

00:27:00.100 And I remember saying,

00:27:02.340 you know,

00:27:02.700 don't bully,

00:27:03.940 be loving,

00:27:05.000 be kind.

00:27:05.800 You don't understand.

00:27:06.640 This is still the one group that people feel comfortable teasing and bullying.

00:27:10.060 And it's wrong.

00:27:11.480 And I,

00:27:12.060 I don't think I was wrong to say that,

00:27:13.860 but when I went to NBC,

00:27:15.200 I did segments on how children were struggling with this.

00:27:18.300 And perhaps there was a lane to help that.

00:27:20.740 I regret that.

00:27:22.140 I regret that.

00:27:22.860 I did not see where that was going to take us tolerance.

00:27:27.300 And I think an innate ability amongst most Americans to live and let live,

00:27:31.200 be kind,

00:27:32.060 be supportive,

00:27:33.320 try not to judge,

00:27:34.220 understand.

00:27:34.760 Some people have mental frailties has been abused.

00:27:39.700 Oh yeah.

00:27:40.320 And it's now morphed into the abuse of children by a system at every turn and the, 0.92

00:27:46.860 the dishonest posing as a trans person by people who have other mental disorders and,

00:27:55.020 and worm their way into women's spaces, 1.00

00:27:58.100 taking advantage of that need to be kind of that innate instinct to be empathetic.

00:28:03.880 And it's,

00:28:04.680 it's time to say,

00:28:05.900 I'm putting my empathy in the back seat.

00:28:07.900 I'm fighting for what's right.

00:28:09.220 And if somebody who's claiming to have this mental disorder is offended too bad up until

00:28:15.140 about two minutes ago,

00:28:16.100 it was recognized as a mental disorder by the psychiatry experts in America.

00:28:21.820 It's only now that you're not allowed to say that.

00:28:23.940 Well,

00:28:24.260 nothing changed other than right.

00:28:27.180 So I think we have not,

00:28:28.880 we have no choice,

00:28:29.840 but to call out these people as disturbed,

00:28:32.780 the glommers who don't even have gender dysphoria,

00:28:35.500 who just want to feel special and come into our locker rooms and our,

00:28:38.980 swimming lanes,

00:28:40.460 et cetera,

00:28:41.460 need to be called out.

00:28:42.860 Dylan Mulvaney and all of the brands sponsoring him need to be called out.

00:28:47.260 And I use that pronoun him intentionally.

00:28:50.440 I have no problem,

00:28:52.060 Glenn,

00:28:52.900 with somebody who has genuine gender dysphoria,

00:28:55.980 has switched over into the other gender,

00:28:59.420 like a Caitlyn Jenner,

00:29:01.540 Caitlyn Jenner,

00:29:02.300 to relatively quietly live their life in my lane.

00:29:06.380 Yep.

00:29:06.580 I really,

00:29:07.880 Caitlyn Jenner is not a woman. 1.00

00:29:09.540 Caitlyn Jenner is a trans woman.

00:29:11.120 There's a difference.

00:29:12.120 It matters.

00:29:13.460 I'm happy to call Caitlyn Jenner her.

00:29:15.780 These other posers who,

00:29:17.940 you know,

00:29:18.120 as we're back to the minstrelsy or minstrelsy,

00:29:20.680 no,

00:29:21.280 I'm not using my pronoun on you. 0.55

00:29:24.660 And I'm not allowing my children to be asked their pronouns in class.

00:29:28.800 Like gender is something you can order off of a Chinese menu. 1.00

00:29:32.580 Bit by bit,

00:29:33.420 we need to find our courage and return to the biological understandings that we've had since the beginning of time.

00:29:40.920 Megan,

00:29:42.540 it is always good to talk to you.

00:29:44.060 Thank you so much.

00:29:44.860 If you haven't heard the Megan Kelly show,

00:29:46.820 it follows this program on XM Sirius.

00:29:51.160 And she's wonderful and always has great guests.

00:29:54.520 The Megan Kelly show on XM Sirius or wherever you get your podcast.

00:29:58.560 Megan,

00:29:58.840 thank you so much.

00:30:00.700 Thanks,

00:30:01.140 Glenn.

00:30:01.460 Great to talk to you.

00:30:02.220 Talk to you again.

00:30:05.640 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:30:10.920 All right.

00:30:13.780 Win one for the good guys.

00:30:18.600 Amy Nelson is here.

00:30:20.860 She is.

00:30:23.180 She is the founder of the riveter riveter.com.

00:30:28.520 She's also been on our show multiple times.

00:30:32.100 She was on our government's completely out of control. 1.00

00:30:36.420 Look out show.

00:30:37.300 She was not somebody who I'm going to get it right.

00:30:42.980 Amy,

00:30:43.300 you're not,

00:30:43.760 you,

00:30:44.100 you weren't a fan of me or anything before,

00:30:46.920 right?

00:30:47.920 It wasn't that I wasn't a fan of you.

00:30:50.200 It's that I had been,

00:30:51.580 you know,

00:30:52.140 a Democrat for my entire life and very active in progressive politics.

00:30:55.840 Okay.

00:30:56.160 So you hated me.

00:30:57.240 Is that's what you were saying?

00:30:58.100 I did not.

00:30:59.000 So I just wanted to throw that in because we're strange bedfellows.

00:31:04.280 And I think more and more people need to find themselves with strange bedfellows,

00:31:09.240 because if we have the bill of rights in common,

00:31:13.980 we can be friends with anybody.

00:31:15.860 That's the way America used to get along. 0.62

00:31:19.000 We believed in individual rights in the bill of rights.

00:31:22.900 So Amy,

00:31:24.920 your husband was accused by Amazon of,

00:31:29.000 of a whole bunch of crimes.

00:31:32.220 And the DOJ came into your life and destroyed your life.

00:31:38.420 Can you give me like a 30,

00:31:39.920 40 second rundown of what happened?

00:31:43.180 Yeah.

00:31:43.720 My husband worked for Amazon web services,

00:31:45.580 which is the cloud computing division of Amazon for eight years.

00:31:48.820 He worked sourcing real estate a year after he left.

00:31:51.720 The Amazon accused him of a crime.

00:31:53.060 And we learned of that because the FBI knocked on our door.

00:31:56.120 My husband then spent three years fighting these allegations.

00:32:01.340 The allegation is this esoteric crime called private sector,

00:32:04.500 honest services fraud,

00:32:05.680 which is a process crime like witness tampering.

00:32:09.100 And over the course of three years,

00:32:10.720 Amazon had the government sees all of our bank accounts.

00:32:14.240 The FBI raided our home.

00:32:16.220 And then they sued my husband in the Eastern district of Virginia.

00:32:19.120 It's funny is Virginia seeing that is an Amazon,

00:32:25.260 a Seattle based company,

00:32:26.800 or did they move out to Virginia?

00:32:28.640 Is that why?

00:32:29.320 Well,

00:32:29.460 Amazon is a Seattle based company.

00:32:31.080 And my husband lived and worked in Seattle,

00:32:33.140 but Amazon chose Northern Virginia as its second headquarters.

00:32:38.840 You know,

00:32:39.060 Jeff Bezos bought the newspaper there.

00:32:40.880 He is trying to buy the football team there.

00:32:42.940 And he is very close to the government.

00:32:46.460 So you alleged when you came on that none of these things were true.

00:32:52.020 And we believed you.

00:32:53.500 None of these things were true.

00:32:55.220 And that Bezos was using the government to crucify and prosecute your husband.

00:33:03.380 So they didn't have to pay a hundred million dollar fine on another related,

00:33:10.240 unrelated topic,

00:33:11.600 correct?

00:33:12.880 Correct.

00:33:14.200 Okay.

00:33:14.620 So last time I spoke to you,

00:33:16.920 you said it was going finally going to trial,

00:33:21.000 but it was a civil suit because the justice department never brought any charges.

00:33:26.360 That is correct.

00:33:27.580 And the civil trial was scheduled to start on May 1st,

00:33:31.120 just in a few weeks.

00:33:32.200 Okay.

00:33:33.220 And what has happened?

00:33:35.800 Something really extraordinary happened,

00:33:38.100 Glenn.

00:33:38.600 Last week,

00:33:39.660 the federal judge issued an order tossing out almost all of Amazon's claims before trial,

00:33:47.300 essentially saying these claims aren't even strong enough to warrant a jury trial.

00:33:52.380 We can throw them out today.

00:33:54.240 The judge said that my husband didn't even violate his Amazon employment contract.

00:33:58.780 He said there was no fraud.

00:34:00.140 He tossed out Amazon's sensational racketeering claim,

00:34:03.860 which was Amazon stepping into the shoes of DOJ and trying to prove a crime. 0.99

00:34:09.160 And,

00:34:09.480 you know,

00:34:09.840 the federal judge said these aren't even strong enough to merit a trial.

00:34:13.100 Wow.

00:34:14.300 That is a huge loss for them.

00:34:17.840 He tossed out six out of the seven.

00:34:20.360 What did he leave?

00:34:21.220 He left a claim that it's called like civil conspiracy to tortuously interfere with the contract.

00:34:28.440 And it's a little bit confusing because it's a question of,

00:34:33.060 can Amazon prove that there was like a conspiracy for a bunch of people to interfere with my husband's employment contract?

00:34:38.460 But again,

00:34:39.500 the judge held my husband didn't violate his employment contract.

00:34:42.040 So we're still trying to kind of work through what that would mean.

00:34:44.400 Okay.

00:34:45.700 And so there's no jail time.

00:34:47.600 Maybe there would be a fine.

00:34:48.900 But this is a huge win kind of because if you have this tossed out of court,

00:34:58.320 how did Amazon get the DOJ to persecute you guys,

00:35:05.060 you guys for what,

00:35:06.080 two years,

00:35:06.760 two and a half years,

00:35:07.700 three,

00:35:08.220 three years.

00:35:09.740 Yeah.

00:35:10.620 So,

00:35:11.220 you know,

00:35:11.460 Glenn,

00:35:11.680 I think that there's a lot of things at play here.

00:35:14.600 It is a huge win.

00:35:15.300 And we'll have to see if Amazon even decides to go to trial to try to prove that last claim.

00:35:19.540 But I think like I've been sitting here with this for a few days and it's just Amazon is too big.

00:35:24.020 They have too much money and they're far too close to the government.

00:35:26.980 Like if a company can go and spend millions of dollars trying to lobby the federal government to bring criminal charges,

00:35:33.580 to ask for civil forfeiture,

00:35:35.340 to deprive Americans of their bank accounts,

00:35:37.700 and then just delay and enforce an American employee to spend millions of dollars,

00:35:43.020 essentially proving that he didn't break his employment contract.

00:35:46.100 That company is too big.

00:35:47.520 Like that is not how this can work.

00:35:49.440 Amazon employees over a million Americans.

00:35:51.600 This is frightening.

00:35:53.200 Well,

00:35:53.340 it's not just a million Americans.

00:35:54.760 They have all kinds of people from the Department of Justice and,

00:36:00.920 and other three letter agencies.

00:36:03.660 That is truly frightening because they're providing the cloud servers for the U.S.

00:36:13.260 government and for all of these agencies.

00:36:16.260 That's,

00:36:16.860 that's a lot of power.

00:36:19.460 Yeah.

00:36:20.040 I mean,

00:36:20.200 I think that most Americans don't understand that Amazon stores the secrets of the FBI,

00:36:25.080 the NSA,

00:36:25.720 the CIA,

00:36:26.580 everybody.

00:36:27.400 And so,

00:36:27.820 of course,

00:36:28.040 when they go to these agencies and ask for something like the biases that the agencies will believe them.

00:36:33.820 I mean,

00:36:34.020 they want to write like we are entrusted.

00:36:36.180 We entrust Jeff Bezos with our national secrets.

00:36:39.880 Full stop.

00:36:41.000 And I think that's pretty terrifying,

00:36:42.700 particularly when,

00:36:44.140 I mean,

00:36:44.300 look,

00:36:44.500 I don't know Glenn how to frame it otherwise,

00:36:46.020 but like,

00:36:46.380 it seems like Bezos is a modern day robber baron.

00:36:48.780 I mean,

00:36:49.220 he's not out there using the court to try to imprison his employees when they're not even liable for breaching an employment contract.

00:36:56.680 And also what bothers me in this story is the use of civil asset forfeiture.

00:37:04.100 When the government can come in and just take people's assets.

00:37:08.600 Remember,

00:37:09.180 it was Jamie Dimon from JP Morgan Chase that last week in his shareholder meeting said,

00:37:17.180 we need to start seizing farms because we need to rapidly grow wind and solar energy and we can't get enough farmland.

00:37:29.040 So we just need to start seizing it.

00:37:31.340 Ford is seizing all of these farms down south.

00:37:35.460 They announced over the weekend that the civil asset forfeiture,

00:37:39.420 when they can just take things and they don't have to return it.

00:37:43.620 Even if you're not guilty,

00:37:46.120 they don't have to do anything.

00:37:47.320 Did you ever get an apology for all of that?

00:37:50.240 No,

00:37:50.740 Glenn.

00:37:51.000 In fact,

00:37:51.300 we had to agree not to sue the government in order to get our money back.

00:37:55.540 That's crazy.

00:37:57.680 That is just crazy.

00:38:00.160 Well,

00:38:00.300 and they can do it secretly.

00:38:01.340 Like we've still never seen the affidavits that were the basis of seizing the money.

00:38:06.860 Like we don't even know what Amazon told the government to get them to take that money.

00:38:10.380 But I do know that the federal judge in this lawsuit that he just tossed out all these cases,

00:38:14.960 that the Amazon had misrepresented that there were damages.

00:38:17.700 There were no damages.

00:38:19.720 Misrepresented their code of conduct and what it said.

00:38:22.340 Like they've made all these misrepresentations.

00:38:24.140 So did the government take our money based on those misrepresentations?

00:38:27.620 And who,

00:38:28.280 who gets pulled accountable for this?

00:38:29.920 Nobody.

00:38:30.180 You know,

00:38:30.600 it is terrible.

00:38:31.240 Nobody.

00:38:31.780 Right.

00:38:32.060 And if they're going to go and start taking American farmland because they want to, 0.94

00:38:36.700 they'll just find a way.

00:38:38.060 Right.

00:38:38.620 I think that powerful people,

00:38:40.520 powerful entities,

00:38:41.340 powerful corporations and banks can really manipulate the law the way they want to.

00:38:47.320 So you walk away at this point,

00:38:50.600 pretty happy.

00:38:52.200 I mean,

00:38:52.920 I do,

00:38:53.500 but I have to say,

00:38:54.400 like,

00:38:54.640 I'm still afraid that Amazon and its CEO,

00:38:57.540 Andy Jassy might go back to DOJ and say,

00:39:00.180 please go do what we couldn't do.

00:39:02.000 Get these people.

00:39:03.420 But how on what?

00:39:05.740 I,

00:39:05.980 I don't know.

00:39:07.480 But Glenn,

00:39:08.080 they're,

00:39:08.640 how did they do this for the past three years?

00:39:11.240 Right?

00:39:11.640 Like,

00:39:11.880 I just,

00:39:12.360 I don't know.

00:39:13.660 I,

00:39:13.980 I think this is no way.

00:39:15.640 This is no way for an American to live when you are afraid of the government,

00:39:20.480 when you have done no wrong,

00:39:22.560 because they're in bed with a corporation that needs the,

00:39:28.220 you know,

00:39:29.320 needs the,

00:39:30.280 the,

00:39:31.500 the trouble pinned on somebody else.

00:39:34.440 That,

00:39:34.880 that is terrifying.

00:39:36.500 That's not America.

00:39:38.620 It's really not.

00:39:39.440 And I'm,

00:39:39.680 you know,

00:39:39.920 still afraid the FBI is going to come knock on my door and try to take my husband

00:39:42.680 away from our four daughters.

00:39:44.100 And it's,

00:39:45.020 it's,

00:39:45.080 there's so many things about this,

00:39:46.800 right?

00:39:46.960 Because I think Glenn,

00:39:47.820 to your point at the beginning,

00:39:48.580 we have the bill of rights and that's what should unite us.

00:39:50.860 And I think we are in a constant fight between Democrats and Republicans about

00:39:54.760 smaller issues.

00:39:56.060 Yep.

00:39:56.460 When,

00:39:56.800 if you look up,

00:39:57.700 when you look up corporations are really because of many reasons,

00:40:02.060 able to direct politicians of all,

00:40:04.140 all stripes and all color of what to do and how to act.

00:40:07.500 And I think that it is truly terrifying to me that somehow progressives are now

00:40:11.900 these massive supporters of the FBI.

00:40:14.880 It's,

00:40:15.100 you know,

00:40:15.740 you look back.

00:40:16.580 Yeah,

00:40:16.900 go ahead.

00:40:17.280 Years ago.

00:40:18.100 Yeah.

00:40:18.340 When you look back five,

00:40:19.660 10,

00:40:19.960 15 years ago,

00:40:20.720 the Democrats are out there screaming about the FBI's overreach and spying on

00:40:25.320 citizens.

00:40:25.660 And now I think because,

00:40:26.900 you know,

00:40:28.120 Democrats feel like the FBI will go after Trump for them,

00:40:31.640 that they're the good guys.

00:40:33.380 It's really amazing to me that,

00:40:35.220 you know,

00:40:35.720 I was listening to you talk about,

00:40:37.840 you know,

00:40:38.580 these big businesses and,

00:40:39.940 and the FBI right before you,

00:40:42.460 you brought this up.

00:40:43.800 And I thought,

00:40:44.900 you know,

00:40:45.980 10 years ago,

00:40:47.280 15 years ago,

00:40:48.360 I would have been thinking right now,

00:40:51.240 uh,

00:40:52.500 Oh,

00:40:52.700 geez,

00:40:52.880 this is not going to fly well with the audience.

00:40:55.580 Uh,

00:40:56.140 because you'll sound too progressive.

00:40:58.460 Now,

00:40:59.080 you don't sound like a progressive at all.

00:41:02.080 You sound like a conservative.

00:41:03.160 It's so bizarre.

00:41:06.440 It's a strange,

00:41:07.480 it's a strange world.

00:41:08.260 And I,

00:41:08.700 you know,

00:41:08.840 I,

00:41:08.980 I find myself out there talking to my progressive friends about this all the

00:41:11.840 time now.

00:41:12.940 And I really feel like Americans of all political persuasions are being

00:41:16.500 distracted.

00:41:17.020 Oh yeah.

00:41:17.940 To forget our freedoms to forget our freedoms.

00:41:20.380 Oh yeah.

00:41:20.900 Right.

00:41:21.200 By it.

00:41:21.920 And it's terrifying because our freedoms really matter.

00:41:24.740 They really do.

00:41:26.840 Amy,

00:41:27.460 thank you so much.

00:41:28.700 Tell us what happens.

00:41:30.040 Um,

00:41:30.560 keep us up to speed when you,

00:41:32.720 when you,

00:41:33.380 uh,

00:41:33.780 get that last one,

00:41:35.180 uh,

00:41:36.100 cleared up and,

00:41:37.680 uh,

00:41:38.000 and my best to you and your family and the kids.

00:41:41.660 Thanks for telling our story,

00:41:42.980 Glenn.

00:41:43.240 You bet.

00:41:44.000 Amy Nelson.

00:41:45.140 Uh,

00:41:45.580 she's from the Riveter.

00:41:47.580 Dot com.

00:41:48.340 It's an amazing American horror story.

00:41:52.020 Are you claiming that positive things can actually happen in this country?

00:41:54.640 How dare you?

00:41:55.660 I am.

00:41:56.340 I am.

00:41:56.900 Does happen sometimes.

00:41:57.960 Yeah.

00:41:58.400 Once in a while,

00:41:59.000 these things work out,

00:41:59.860 but I don't know.

00:42:00.740 I mean,

00:42:00.960 she's an attorney.

00:42:02.640 Okay.

00:42:03.280 They were wealthy.

00:42:04.660 She's a really good attorney. 0.77

00:42:07.020 I don't know.

00:42:08.100 Even now.

00:42:08.760 I know.

00:42:08.960 Donnie and I,

00:42:09.980 the process is the punishment.

00:42:11.200 The process is the punishment.

00:42:12.900 If you're a normal person,

00:42:14.780 you don't have a chance.

00:42:16.180 Well,

00:42:16.300 I mean,

00:42:16.500 we've been talking about this with Donald Trump,

00:42:18.040 like where so far the courts have held in a lot of these important issues.

00:42:23.180 They have been the bulwark to tyranny.

00:42:27.840 However,

00:42:28.240 it takes months,

00:42:29.420 years for that to play out.

00:42:31.200 And she lost all of her friends.

00:42:32.980 Yeah. 0.99

00:42:33.340 None of her friends would talk to him anymore because your husband is a criminal. 0.98

00:42:37.780 Right. 0.95

00:42:37.980 I mean,

00:42:38.380 the DOJ is after you guys.

00:42:40.260 I mean,

00:42:41.000 it's incredible.

00:42:42.320 It's hard to know,

00:42:42.920 right?

00:42:43.160 Like,

00:42:43.380 you know,

00:42:43.840 you have friends that,

00:42:44.660 that do things and they seem great to you and you don't know what they're doing behind

00:42:48.100 the scenes.

00:42:48.620 So when the DOJ says they're cracking down on your buddy,

00:42:51.520 I mean,

00:42:52.240 you can understand people running the opposite direction.

00:42:54.720 It's wrong.

00:42:55.060 Na na na na na.

00:42:56.740 Na na na na.
