The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ Guests： Michael Knowles & Carol Roth ｜ 7⧸26⧸23

00:00:00.560 Great podcast today. We start with Hunter Biden and the latest scandal. I mean, it is a mob family.

00:00:08.800 Now, the judge who is supposed to decide today whether or not she accepts the plea bargain, 0.90

00:00:16.320 somebody connected with his attorney called her office and said,

00:00:21.600 Yeah, I'm with the Senate Ways and Means Committee, and we got to get all of this testimony out of this record.

00:00:33.080 It's all this whistleblower stuff needs to go.

00:00:35.860 She finds out that that's a total lie. That's not the guy. It's actually somebody associated with the Hunter Biden defense attorneys.

00:00:47.000 Are you kidding me? If there's any justice, he will be going to jail, but we'll see.

00:00:54.180 Also, UFOs. We have Carol Roth on the Fed.

00:00:58.800 We're talking also a little bit about the climate hysteria that Hillary Clinton kicked up yesterday, 0.97

00:01:04.720 which brings us right to our Wednesday night special, Climate Myths Debunked.

00:01:10.840 The real reason elites want you terrified over global warming.

00:01:13.960 It is really going to be tremendous tonight at 9 on Blaze TV.

00:01:19.580 Podcast is coming up. First, let me tell you about our sponsor. It is Preborn.

00:01:25.000 The abortion pill now accounts for over half of the abortions committed in the U.S.

00:01:31.860 More than a thousand children die this way every day, and it is horrific.

00:01:37.260 These Planned Parenthood centers, they tell these women and these girls that it's no big deal. 0.62

00:01:45.300 It is a very big deal.

00:01:47.320 And the trauma that is happening to these women is just inexcusable.

00:01:54.900 Absolutely inexcusable. It's evil.

00:01:57.780 Would you help save a mom? Would you help save a baby?

00:02:02.180 I'd like you, if you have the means, would you consider a leadership gift to help save babies in a big way?

00:02:09.300 Right now, an ultrasound is $25.

00:02:15.040 If you would be willing, if you had the means, a tax-deductible donation of $5,000

00:02:20.640 will sponsor Preborn's entire network all across the country for 24 hours.

00:02:27.040 That means you could rescue 200 babies.

00:02:30.700 Dial pound 250, say the keyword baby.

00:02:32.820 That's pound 250, keyword baby.

00:02:35.140 Or go to preborn.com slash back.

00:02:37.980 Sponsored by Preborn.

00:02:39.040 Here's the podcast.

00:02:47.900 You're listening to The Best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:02:53.400 So Carol Roth is a good friend and a good friend of the program.

00:02:57.340 She is the author of the new best-selling book, You Will Own Nothing,

00:03:02.480 which is really right in the same pocket as my book, Dark Future.

00:03:07.220 They are often purchased together because they're good companion pieces.

00:03:12.860 I wanted to get her on for a couple of reasons.

00:03:15.520 First, Carol, can you tell me what to expect from the Fed today quickly?

00:03:18.960 Yeah, so it's pretty baked into the market that the Fed is going to raise interest rates another 25 basis points.

00:03:28.220 That's a quarter of a percent.

00:03:29.880 That would put us in the five and a quarter to five and a half percent range on their target rate,

00:03:36.920 which is basically a rate that is used to set all different kinds of interest rates throughout the economy.

00:03:43.220 And basically, the Fed is struggling to contain the inflation that they caused.

00:03:49.540 They're the arsonists to burn down your house.

00:03:51.800 And now they're standing with a water bottle and want to try to put it out without that fire.

00:03:57.260 And I think that the big takeaway for everybody here is that these individuals in concert with the government,

00:04:04.420 these have been the biggest enablers of a huge transfer of wealth from Main Street to Wall Street.

00:04:11.060 And at the end of the day, that's all they really care about.

00:04:14.840 So Jerome Powell will come out and he'll say how he's standing in service of the average American in the middle class.

00:04:20.900 That's complete baloney.

00:04:22.960 He and his cronies have helped support Wall Street.

00:04:25.980 They have helped the government expand their purview and continue to spend.

00:04:31.860 And they're really trying hard to do everything they can to get back to that posture.

00:04:36.060 And so this may be another step in their plan.

00:04:38.960 I will tell you that it is, I mean, it's hard to miss that the only ones this is really going to hurt is the average American.

00:04:49.440 Because you're not going to stop inflation if you keep spending in Washington.

00:04:54.640 You're just not.

00:04:56.160 It's too much.

00:04:57.180 No, no, that's the frustrating point.

00:04:59.580 What the Fed raising rates is supposed to do is it's supposed to send a signal throughout the economy to stop spending. 0.60

00:05:07.460 On the corporate side, you know, we had 15 years of cheap, in some cases, free, easy money.

00:05:14.420 So that's going to take a while to work itself through.

00:05:17.300 On the consumer side, the same thing.

00:05:20.460 So it's taking longer than they expect to work it through.

00:05:23.060 On the government side, it's supposed to just be that neon sign like, OK, now it's really expensive to finance your debt.

00:05:29.360 You need to slow spending.

00:05:31.220 The Biden administration does not care.

00:05:33.700 And you have ignored the sign as going full speed towards the end of that fiscal cliff.

00:05:39.100 You know what people don't understand is that if you don't get inflation under control, people will be like, well, we have a target of 2% inflation.

00:05:47.440 Right now, we ought to target a 3% inflation over the next 10 years.

00:05:53.260 That seems like that's not that big of a deal.

00:05:57.660 But 3% inflation means in 10 years, the loss of about 34%, 34 cents on every dollar you have.

00:06:09.700 So if you're saving for your retirement, if the Fed says, we're going to take 3% inflation, we think that's reasonable.

00:06:17.040 We all go, oh, yeah, that's not so bad.

00:06:19.880 That's 35 cents on every dollar you've saved for retirement.

00:06:25.660 It's obscene.

00:06:27.940 Yeah, it's a huge debasement of the currency, which means that reduces your purchasing power.

00:06:34.520 And if your wages don't keep pace with that inflation, or if you're somebody who is a retiree or not in the workforce, this is just the slow eating away of the middle class.

00:06:47.320 And compounding works for something like inflation the same way it does for investment.

00:06:52.600 You know, it seems like it's a small gain.

00:06:55.080 But when you add that up and you compound it over time, it's incredibly meaningful.

00:06:59.940 And that's really, I think, what's going to happen here.

00:07:02.540 I think the reality of the fiscal situation of the United States, the shifts in the global economy, and just the core financial management is going to create this eating away, slow eating away of the middle class until it doesn't exist anymore.

00:07:19.540 So this is something we need to stay on, and we need to turn it around.

00:07:22.900 I have to tell you, I was with a bunch of people from Idaho.

00:07:28.360 I'm up in Idaho at my ranch, and they were talking about the health of the state.

00:07:34.200 Zero debt.

00:07:36.560 Their emergency funds are full, and they have given tax refunds back, I think, the second year in a row in Idaho.

00:07:49.180 I don't know of a state that is that healthy.

00:07:52.000 That's fantastic.

00:07:53.560 Fantastic.

00:07:55.360 Carol, let me switch topics with you here for a second.

00:07:59.540 I've been noticing, and it's almost with glee, and I noticed this starting way back with the Occupy Wall Street thing.

00:08:08.140 It is really institutionalized.

00:08:10.660 Both of our books talk about this with the World Economic Forum.

00:08:15.320 It is a Malthusian, almost anti-human kind of program and philosophy. 0.97

00:08:25.020 All of it is where a few people say, I'm God, and I can do X, Y, and Z, and I'll make all the decisions.

00:08:34.020 And you know what?

00:08:34.580 There's too many people.

00:08:35.960 And I saw this report on CNN.

00:08:39.000 Can we roll this report underneath here?

00:08:41.620 This is from CNN, and they're, listen, those I have seen, imagining what Earth would look like if humans vanished.

00:08:49.960 But this photographer's work is steeped in reality, capturing what the world really does look like without people.

00:08:57.100 Have a look at this.

00:08:57.980 Roman Veillon has spent years photographing abandoned places.

00:09:01.020 They're talking about what the world looks like if there are no people involved.

00:09:06.620 And there are people that are actually for this idea and for the idea of degrowth.

00:09:15.820 You can't degrow without killing people. 0.98

00:09:21.080 Can you? 1.00

00:09:21.940 This is crazy.

00:09:24.960 And any time you get, you know, a movement like this, I like to say, you first.

00:09:29.500 You go first.

00:09:30.200 And then we'll see how that works out.

00:09:31.800 And then we'll consider it.

00:09:34.660 This is basically the degrowth idea is the resurgence of something that started in the 1970s.

00:09:40.820 It's being targeted heavily at young people.

00:09:43.620 And if you just think about the concept of degrowth, it's basically, growth means prosperity, expansion, progress, improvement, advancement.

00:09:54.400 Degrowth is the opposite.

00:09:56.040 It's regression.

00:09:57.120 It's contraction.

00:09:58.400 It's basically the demon spawn of you will own nothing in a dark future. 0.98

00:10:03.060 That's basically what it is.

00:10:04.440 So they're trying to undo all of the good things that have been done.

00:10:07.760 And I read a piece on this, Glenn, and they said that, you know, we're not talking about a recession.

00:10:14.480 It means a phase of planned and equitable economic contraction in the richest nations.

00:10:21.340 So this is something that they want to come after the wealthy countries, not just the – and it's planned.

00:10:26.640 You know, this isn't just, oh, it just kind of happens.

00:10:29.320 But focus and plan.

00:10:31.120 And then through forms of direct or participatory democracy, so forms of it, whatever form they want, they would organize the economy.

00:10:40.280 So, again, central planning, not actual democracy, to ensure that everyone's basic needs are met.

00:10:46.460 So, you know, the government who doesn't produce anything is going to make sure your needs are met and then redirect our energies away from economic expansion.

00:10:55.060 And then, so this is the – that's the you will own nothing part, the you'll be happy part, is we would tend to reduce our working hours in the formal economy in exchange for more home production and leisure.

00:11:07.940 We would have less income, but more freedom.

00:11:10.820 Thus, in our simplicity, we would be rich.

00:11:16.060 That is crazy.

00:11:17.380 It is crazy, and this is what they're putting out and bringing in the young people who feel desperate under the guise of this is better for the climate, this is better for the environment, and the people who feel like they can't have the American dream.

00:11:33.480 So what do we do to bring down everybody to the lowest common amount?

00:11:37.580 Everybody else.

00:11:38.460 You know, I'm looking at a website called beyondgrowth2023.eu, and it says the pathway towards sustainable prosperity in the EU, and it's a big meeting that is happening.

00:11:56.300 Let's get this discussion going.

00:11:57.940 Let's organize collectively.

00:12:01.740 This is nothing other than – it's not prosperity.

00:12:05.800 It is equal misery.

00:12:09.560 If, you know, everybody who knows anything about business or even human growth, if you are not growing, if you are not learning constantly, you're regressing.

00:12:20.600 You don't stay static.

00:12:23.540 You regress.

00:12:24.920 Things fall apart.

00:12:26.940 You don't do this without hurting a lot of human beings.

00:12:33.080 Yeah, it's a movement backwards, degrowth.

00:12:36.960 When I think of D, the undoing, deflation, depopulation, they call it swapping profit for well-being.

00:12:47.580 But if you think about what has created well-being, it has been a movement towards free enterprise.

00:12:53.940 It has been that growth.

00:12:55.160 It's been the democratization of ownership, you know, where people have that opportunity to participate in the economy and lift themselves and their families up.

00:13:05.400 And if you look at the, quote-unquote, richest nations, the ones that they seem to hate, you know, those are the ones that, you know, have actually gotten the technology and harnessed the opportunity to create cleaner technologies.

00:13:21.300 It's the emerging nations that haven't gone through that renaissance yet.

00:13:25.000 But that's not what they say.

00:13:26.440 There's a gentleman who is a professor, and anytime I see a nutty idea, I love to see if he's part of the WEF.

00:13:33.920 And so, of course, he is.

00:13:35.340 And he went on this rant and basically said that climate change is being driven primarily by the consumption of the global north.

00:13:44.700 So it's incumbent on rich countries to shrink their economy.

00:13:48.780 And then when somebody challenged him and said, but, yeah, isn't it these emerging economies that are really creating the issue and says, no, no, no, no, it has nothing to do with poor countries.

00:13:58.320 Quote, the real problem is that there are too many rich people.

00:14:02.200 And so this is what it is.

00:14:03.600 This is the envy politics.

00:14:05.740 This is people have too many opportunities for freedom.

00:14:09.120 We cannot control them.

00:14:10.580 So we're going to use this climate catastrophization and this, you know, fake emergency as a way to get young people to buy in.

00:14:20.060 And, of course, if you capture the young people, right, and you tell them not to get married, not to grow, not to work hard, not to have kids, that's a very easy and evil way for them to fulfill their agenda.

00:14:34.080 This is the best of the Glenn Beck Program, and we really want to thank you for listening.

00:14:37.660 Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program.

00:14:41.060 We are so glad that you've tuned in.

00:14:43.540 One of my favorite people is Michael Knowles.

00:14:47.640 I just love this guy.

00:14:49.120 He's really smart, very, very effective, and I think carries the banner very, very well every day.

00:14:59.460 Podcaster from The Daily Wire, Michael Knowles.

00:15:02.320 Welcome, Michael.

00:15:02.980 How are you?

00:15:04.340 Glenn, so wonderful to be with you, as always.

00:15:06.660 Thank you for having me.

00:15:08.640 Now, you're in Hungary, right?

00:15:11.520 I'm in Hungary now, and oddly enough, I'm in Hungary for a book tour, which I never expected to do.

00:15:20.980 You're right.

00:15:21.560 But you wrote a very, very, you know, we've written several, but one very big bestseller, Reasons to Vote for Democrats.

00:15:30.520 And I understand that it is now a Hungarian translation.

00:15:34.780 Yes, I will admit that it had been an aspiration of mine as an author that one of my books with words would make it into a foreign translation.

00:15:46.120 But I'm perfectly happy that it was my book without any words that has received the Hungarian translation.

00:15:53.180 And that title, Glenn, just in case any of your listeners are walking around Budapest and want to pick up a copy, is, of course,

00:15:59.100 So your listeners can write that down and hurry up and pick up a copy.

00:16:07.640 Yeah, that just flows right off the tongue.

00:16:11.280 Now, it is like 300 pages that are completely blank.

00:16:16.160 Have you thought about Mandarin and other languages?

00:16:20.500 Well, I'm pleased that it's now six years after I published what I'm sure will be my magnum open.

00:16:28.220 I'm pleased that interest remains strong, not only in America, but around the world.

00:16:33.040 And I think that since the message has resonated, not only in our own country, but throughout the West, soon enough,

00:16:38.620 I think it will spread to the Far East, perhaps the Southeast in India, maybe to Africa and Latin America as well.

00:16:47.040 Well, I think geopolitics is moving quickly.

00:16:50.940 And that's really good that it's in Latin America, too, because Latin is a dying language.

00:16:55.800 And it'll be nice to have that.

00:16:59.600 So, Michael, you are in Czechoslovakia.

00:17:03.920 Viktor Orban is a fascinating guy, in my opinion.

00:17:09.400 I don't know enough about him to make a judgment call.

00:17:14.740 But some people say that he is a dictator, some, you know, are fascist.

00:17:20.500 Others are saying, no, he is the best example of freedom in Europe.

00:17:27.840 Where do you stand on him?

00:17:29.660 And what's happening in Czechoslovakia?

00:17:31.820 Or, I mean, Hungary?

00:17:33.500 All I can tell you, Glenn, is the same people who call Orban a fascist are the ones who call me and you

00:17:39.440 and anybody to the right of Barack Obama, a fascist.

00:17:43.080 You know, I'm no expert on Hungary.

00:17:45.300 I've been here now with some total of 48 hours.

00:17:47.980 But I have followed the country pretty closely over the last few years.

00:17:51.320 I'll tell you, Budapest is wonderful.

00:17:53.360 There are no, you know, military troops parading the streets, locking us all up.

00:17:57.580 It's a wonderful example of true freedom, which is not the freedom of San Francisco,

00:18:02.640 where you have the freedom to be a druggie and a criminal and break into cars and turn

00:18:07.040 the place into a hellhole.

00:18:08.580 But it's the freedom of what was once Christian civilization, the freedom to walk down the 1.00

00:18:14.780 street in relative safety, the freedom to go do business and to work, the freedom to

00:18:19.600 practice your faith without being bullied by the government, as has unfortunately been

00:18:24.300 the case in other parts of the West, the freedom even to have a family and to have your traditions.

00:18:29.900 You know, what Orban has done is in 2014, he came out and he said, we're not a liberal democracy

00:18:35.620 like some of you guys say you are.

00:18:37.280 We're an illiberal democracy.

00:18:38.940 We're an older kind of democracy.

00:18:40.560 We're in 2019.

00:18:41.640 He came out and said, we're a Christian democracy.

00:18:43.980 You know, that that's what the West was until very, very recently.

00:18:48.380 And so they're going to prioritize things like their traditions, their churches, their

00:18:53.840 rituals, and most importantly, their families.

00:18:57.320 Hungary is the one country in the West that has started to reverse demographic decline,

00:19:03.020 this collapse in the family.

00:19:05.000 And they've done so very actively, very intentionally.

00:19:08.780 Orban refers to himself as the last man in Europe.

00:19:11.520 And he's made this point.

00:19:12.740 He had a wonderful speech in Romania just yesterday, which is that he said that Europe is going

00:19:18.140 to be saved by Christianity, by the faith that made her, or Europe's not going to be saved 0.73

00:19:22.560 at all.

00:19:23.180 And on that point, I failed to see a single wrong thing that the man has said.

00:19:29.540 Yeah.

00:19:30.280 You know, and Europe is different than America.

00:19:33.840 I mean, it used to be.

00:19:35.520 I hope we are still, I hope we can get back on the path.

00:19:40.700 But, you know, Europe does not have the Bill of Rights or the understanding of liberty that

00:19:49.120 we have there, their right and left in their book is fascist and communism.

00:19:56.200 And so they try to moderate in between and try to get into the into the middle there where

00:20:01.560 you have maximum freedom for them.

00:20:05.080 We're a different kind of republic.

00:20:08.720 And we always have been.

00:20:10.640 What I'm concerned about now, Michael, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on this is, you

00:20:15.640 know, when you talk about clean streets, they're safe.

00:20:20.420 You know, you can you can live your life and be safe.

00:20:25.840 And the craziness stops that is that can be promised by people here in America that do

00:20:34.340 not believe in the Bill of Rights.

00:20:36.460 The way to stop all crime is just to start cracking down.

00:20:40.180 And I think that's what the left wants to do.

00:20:43.020 They've caused all this chaos so they can crack down on it.

00:20:48.720 And that is a spooky thing because people can say we're going to solve this problem and

00:20:55.520 it's not through freedom.

00:20:57.700 That's a great point, Glenn.

00:20:59.620 The the term that you sometimes hear to describe the left is anarcho tyranny.

00:21:04.540 First, you encourage the anarchy, the looting, the rioting, you saw during the George Floyd

00:21:08.520 riots, and then the anarchy serves a purpose because it leads to the crackdown.

00:21:13.600 And so that that's always a fear.

00:21:15.780 And it's it's a fear of it.

00:21:16.920 It's it's done in the name of the left and it's a fear of it's done in the name of the

00:21:20.320 right.

00:21:20.580 And you have a good point, which is that in America, we put so much emphasis on our

00:21:25.100 Constitution and our Bill of Rights as written documents.

00:21:28.200 And in Europe, that's not always the case.

00:21:30.500 Often what Europe looks to is a lowercase C kind of a constitution because they have a

00:21:35.780 much longer history and they develop differently than our nation did.

00:21:39.980 And so the question for Europe and perhaps for us to some degree as well is what traditions

00:21:45.860 are we going to return to?

00:21:48.260 You know, the dalliances in Europe with fascism in the 20th century were they were a kind of

00:21:54.160 a traditionalist movement.

00:21:55.360 But it was a traditionalist movement that turned away from the church, that turned away from

00:21:58.960 the faith, that that that in many ways was kind of modernist.

00:22:03.500 In many ways, fascism had aspects of leftism to it.

00:22:06.240 Correct.

00:22:06.540 Or communism.

00:22:07.720 Oh, yeah.

00:22:08.280 And so what's being offered here is a little bit of a different option, which is we're

00:22:14.660 going to return to to the faith that built our country.

00:22:19.620 And, you know, there I see a lot of similarities with the U.S.

00:22:22.540 Because, as you know better than anybody, the founding fathers were echoing the words of

00:22:28.500 the earlier statesmen of America who said that ours was to be a model of Christian charity,

00:22:33.820 a shining city on a hill, you know, a country built for a moral and religious people unfit 1.00

00:22:39.340 to the government of any other kind.

00:22:41.280 There, I think and I hope we can see a similarity between the U.S. and Europe before both of our

00:22:48.780 respective places go go spinning off the rails.

00:22:55.540 What do you think is happening in America?

00:22:59.060 Are we, you know, I think we've been waking up for a while, but I sense there's a new corner

00:23:06.940 about to be turned with the American people.

00:23:10.220 I was thinking about this the last couple of days where Churchill said, don't worry, the

00:23:14.980 Americans, they're always slow, but they get it. 1.00

00:23:18.160 And once they get it, they stand up.

00:23:20.740 And I feel as though there is a corner coming where for the real traditional Democrat, whatever

00:23:30.600 is left outside of Washington, D.C., the Independent and the Republican, I just sense a time coming

00:23:38.540 where it's like, enough.

00:23:40.200 I'm just done.

00:23:41.820 And I'm just not going to tolerate it anymore.

00:23:46.020 You're dismissed. 0.92

00:23:47.280 You're a joke and not going to do it anymore.

00:23:51.160 Do you sense that we're on that road or not?

00:23:54.320 Pardon me?

00:23:54.780 Certainly.

00:23:55.200 It's absolutely happening.

00:23:57.120 And you see it in a lot of different places.

00:23:59.640 You see it in RFK Jr. polling at 19% in the Democratic Party.

00:24:05.980 This is representative not just of people who question the COVID regime, but of people who long

00:24:11.940 for those old Kennedy Democrats and who think that the current crop have really gone crazy.

00:24:17.100 You see this in that Gallup poll that just came out.

00:24:21.100 It showed a shocking number to many people.

00:24:24.140 It showed a seven point drop in just one year for public support of any same sex sexual relations,

00:24:32.600 not a redefinition of marriage, not transgenderism, same sex relations.

00:24:37.520 And regardless of what one thinks about homosexuality or some aspect of the sexual revolution,

00:24:42.760 what I think is really important about that number is it shows you that people are not merely reacting to the most extreme of the extreme,

00:24:51.600 go into the kindergartens and teach kids transgenderism or whatever.

00:24:55.000 They're recognizing that ideas have consequences.

00:24:59.360 And so when you have bad consequences all around you, you can begin to look in the other direction and say,

00:25:05.740 OK, well, what ideas did that come from?

00:25:08.160 And it is not just far right wing Republicans who are reacting to this.

00:25:12.200 It's not just far right wing parents who are showing up to their school board meetings and saying none of the nonsense in the classroom.

00:25:18.340 This is a much broader movement.

00:25:20.520 And so the only question for us now going into 2024 is if you've got a broad consensus among the people that this wacky leftism has gone too far,

00:25:31.300 do the people still possess enough political power to overcome an entrenched and corrupt establishment that's going to try to take their power?

00:25:39.800 Yeah, because that is the that's the only thing that keeps me up at night is not how the American people are going to move.

00:25:47.600 But do is it even possible to have a real, honest election anymore?

00:25:55.220 Because the Democrats just don't seem to be worried about anything.

00:25:59.900 Poll numbers going down, everything is so unpopular.

00:26:03.500 And yet they're just like, no, it's great.

00:26:05.800 We're going to do even more.

00:26:07.880 Why would you do that coming up with an election year?

00:26:10.560 It's a big fear.

00:26:12.940 And I know that we're not allowed to question the most perfect election that was ever conducted in the history of democracy going back to Pericles.

00:26:19.300 But but what's ironic about the left trying to shut down any discussion of some of the irregularities in 2020 is that they themselves brought up the risk of fraud just 10 or so years ago.

00:26:31.620 Barack Obama is on record as raising serious doubts about widespread mail in ballots and pointing out that that opens up the possibility of fraud to say nothing, ballot harvesting to say nothing of the illicit practices that the Democrats engaged in, especially in Pennsylvania back in 2020.

00:26:49.260 And so to your point, the fact that they seem so complacent when they have weekend at Bernie's in the White House should should raise Republicans concerns, because in an ordinary year, in an ordinary election with a candidate who can't pronounce his own name, a party should be worried.

00:27:06.180 And so the question is, do they think they can just push Biden across the finish line, whether he knows where he is or not?

00:27:11.440 Or do the Democrats have a trick up their sleeve and do they believe that Joe Biden won't actually be the nominee in 24?

00:27:19.180 It's so early on.

00:27:20.540 Any of those things are possible.

00:27:23.960 Michael, thank you for everything that you do and the service you provide.

00:27:29.940 You know, I love you and all of the people at Daily Wire.

00:27:33.120 I'm so excited for your success, especially with this new translation.

00:27:36.920 I mean, I don't know how how long it took to translate, but I'm so happy for you.

00:27:42.880 Thanks, Michael.

00:27:44.660 Thank you, Glenn, for everything, all you do, and especially for promoting this important political treatise.

00:27:51.180 Thank you.

00:27:53.160 Bye bye.

00:27:54.220 Michael Knowles from the Michael Knowles program, author of the book Reasons to Vote for Democrats.

00:28:00.900 Now in Hungarian.

00:28:02.700 This is the best of a Glenn Beck program.

00:28:05.480 You know, I was reading something just a couple of days ago about the gig economy.

00:28:13.680 And, you know, that's something that the Biden administration and Gavin Newsom and everybody else wants to shut down because it's just not this is not right.

00:28:22.940 And I was reading about people who are involved in the gig economy.

00:28:26.360 That's, you know, you're doing Uber Eats or you're you're driving for Uber.

00:28:30.120 You're doing something on your own time.

00:28:32.440 Something that stuck out in this article was the people who are in the gig economy are generally the ones who are in the least amount of credit card debt.

00:28:46.420 And they do the gigs so they can have the extra money that they don't have to put it on the credit card.

00:28:55.740 They're people that are generally more disciplined.

00:28:57.900 And it's it's crazy that the federal government would take something like the gig economy where you could work your own pace, whatever you want to do.

00:29:09.360 I was reading about a guy who's he's like, I want to make eight hundred dollars a day or whatever it is, two hundred dollars a day.

00:29:17.440 And all that's all I that's all I need.

00:29:20.700 And so I'm only going to work that sometimes it's five hours, sometimes it's eight hours.

00:29:25.160 But that's all I all I want to do.

00:29:28.160 The freedom of opportunity there is what they're going after, because that's what freedom means.

00:29:35.020 You have opportunity.

00:29:36.760 And whether you like to hear it or not, or your friends and family like to hear it, it is true.

00:29:44.740 Our freedom is going away.

00:29:47.240 And what does that mean?

00:29:49.320 People are how's your freedom going away?

00:29:52.060 The opportunity to chart my own course, the opportunity to start my own business, the opportunity to do what Bill Gates did.

00:30:03.500 That doesn't exist anymore.

00:30:05.440 That's how freedom is slipping away.

00:30:10.260 There's a there's a commercial that looks like it's a commercial for Donald Trump, but it was just done by, you know, somebody at home who was putting something together and then put, you know, Donald Trump for president.

00:30:23.620 So it's not coming from his campaign, but it is very effective.

00:30:29.160 And Frank Luntz tweeted it yesterday and said, this is the most dangerous thing I've seen.

00:30:36.640 And I don't understand that because some of the things that are there, I'm not sure I agree with.

00:30:47.140 But this is also one of the most accurate things I have seen in a campaign ad.

00:30:53.900 Listen to this.

00:30:55.700 If I were the deep state, if I was the deep state and I wanted to destroy America, I would rig the election with a puppet candidate, one that was so compromised that they would never say a word about it.

00:31:08.940 I would create a false flag that allows for mail-in ballots.

00:31:12.820 If I was the deep state, I would make everyone an example why you should never question a Democrat ever winning an election.

00:31:43.800 I would imprison my foes. 0.95

00:31:46.280 I would use my corrupt DAs and blackmailed judges to destroy you. 0.99

00:31:50.620 I would make sure all crimes I ever committed never happened. 0.98

00:31:53.780 I would prosecute my biggest competition.

00:31:56.400 I would make sure they could never run for office ever again.

00:31:59.980 If I was the deep state, I would convince everyone that Ukraine Nazis were good and women are men. 0.99

00:32:05.680 If I was the deep state, I would own every politician that mattered. 0.74

00:32:08.760 If I was the deep state, I would push my pedophilia ambitions on you.

00:32:14.260 If I was the deep state, you'd question your sexual identity, but not the medical establishment.

00:32:19.860 If I was the deep state, you would fear to ever resist me.

00:32:23.260 If I was the deep state, you would wish I was really the devil.

00:32:26.460 If I was the deep state, I would say mission accomplished.

00:32:28.800 Wow.

00:32:31.720 That's powerful.

00:32:32.780 That's powerful.

00:32:33.920 That is powerful.

00:32:35.620 What has happened to Frank Luntz is my question, though.

00:32:39.000 Why is that dangerous?

00:32:40.600 Is it dangerous for people to think for themselves?

00:32:43.940 I don't think so.

00:32:45.380 Wow.

00:32:45.680 That's yeah, I don't I don't know.

00:32:47.940 I know Frank has been very sick lately, but he's on the men.

00:32:51.280 But I have the opposite take from Frank Luntz on many things, but that's one of them.

00:32:59.680 And the deep state we have gone in five years from at least I have six years when Donald Trump first said that I was a little uncomfortable.

00:33:09.980 And I was like, I don't know, because it was right around the time where he said the media is the enemy of the American people.

00:33:17.220 And I'm like, I agree kind of, but I don't I wouldn't say it that way.

00:33:21.400 He's right.

00:33:22.620 There is there is no other way to describe the mainstream media than a danger to the American people and her freedom.

00:33:34.840 Clearly, there is no other way to describe what's going on.

00:33:39.540 Just look at what's happening with Hunter Biden and then the media coverage on it.

00:33:44.660 There is no other way to describe it other than a deep state.

00:33:50.120 And, you know, when you question your sexuality, but you're not allowed to question Pfizer.

00:33:57.220 How does Pfizer get away with that?

00:34:00.280 It's clearly a deep state.

00:34:03.060 It's really.

00:34:04.940 I mean, if I were doing it, I would have done if I were a deep state.

00:34:09.200 Yeah.

00:34:13.440 Yeah.

00:34:14.820 All day long.

00:34:16.100 I don't bite what to do if I were a deep state.

00:34:21.000 Yeah.

00:34:22.120 That's how I would have done it, too.

00:34:23.700 But this was maybe a little more effective than that.

00:34:27.280 I don't know.

00:34:28.140 Yeah, I think so.

00:34:29.020 That's pretty good.

00:34:30.000 I think so.

00:34:31.240 Yeah.

00:34:31.920 Yeah.

00:34:32.320 Unless, you know, have you have a Zionist master. 0.92

00:34:35.760 And then, of course, we're going to release the I wouldn't have to work hard.

00:34:41.220 Anyway.

00:34:41.820 So now let me switch to another case of the deep state.

00:34:50.100 And I want you to listen to this story.

00:34:52.020 This comes from TheBlaze.com.

00:34:54.840 And it is a must read and share with friends because I read the news and I have producers and Stu.

00:35:07.900 I mean, Pat, you have producers.

00:35:10.080 You read the news every day.

00:35:12.060 This one, I cannot believe, happened and I didn't know.

00:35:18.620 Believe it or not, there was an Islamic terrorist attack in Fargo, North Dakota earlier this month.

00:35:28.340 One that local law enforcement believes could have resulted in countless casualties instead of the one police officer that was killed.

00:35:36.980 Like so many people from Syria last decade, Mohammed Barakat was brought to the U.S. as an asylum seeker, became a citizen in 2019.

00:35:52.140 He returned the favor on July 14th by randomly firing 60 rounds from his car near the site of a car crash on 25th Street in Fargo.

00:36:04.320 Now, likely waiting for the police and first responders to come to the scene, he allegedly gunned down three police officers in an unprovoked attack.

00:36:14.120 He killed one police officer, Jake Wallen, seriously injured two other officers, as well as a female, allegedly female, civilian.

00:36:25.860 There has been almost a complete blockade of this story.

00:36:31.900 It is nowhere in the national media.

00:36:35.900 It took over a week for any information about his immigration history to even come to light.

00:36:44.300 As we were watching the streets of France burn, this story happens and nobody reports on it? 0.86

00:36:54.360 Now, so you know, this is not your average, you know, street thug, mentally ill person.

00:37:02.940 Given the lack of criminal record or manifesto left behind, this has the hallmarks of targeted jihad.

00:37:13.120 Because, listen, police found in his car 1,800 live rounds, along with three rifles, four handguns, all of which were loaded.

00:37:25.640 He also had a grenade, gas canisters, and explosives in his car.

00:37:31.800 According to the North Dakota Attorney General, Drew Wrigley, the car was filled with also large amounts of tannerite, a highly explosive compound made from ammonium nitrate.

00:37:46.640 Wrigley also said that Barakat was looking for significant crowd events in the area.

00:37:56.140 He had a clear path.

00:37:58.060 He was going to downtown Fargo.

00:37:59.800 If it wasn't for Officer Zach Robinson taking out the gunman's rifle from 75 feet, listen to that, 75 feet with a 9mm handgun, that's an incredible shot.

00:38:14.100 It would have been a mass casualty event because he appeared to be on the way to the downtown street fair.

00:38:22.140 The FBI found his computer in his apartment, and it contained a search history revealing that he looked up mass casualty events and how to cause certain injuries.

00:38:35.880 The last article that appeared in his search history was a local news article titled, Thousands Enjoy First Day of Downtown Fargo Street Fair.

00:38:46.880 So, the FBI still doesn't know the motive at all.

00:38:55.240 They are just, they're surprised by this.

00:38:57.960 They didn't see it.

00:38:58.800 Now, listen to this.

00:38:59.820 This is the part that gets incredible.

00:39:01.640 8% of Fargo, North Dakota is now foreign-born.

00:39:09.880 Most of that is from the Islamic areas in Africa, like Sudan or Somalia.

00:39:19.020 Even much of the European refugee is Bosnian.

00:39:23.420 The massive influx of refugee resettlement done by our country has shipped these Islamic people to Fargo.

00:39:34.940 Fargo is growing much faster than the rest of the state or the country.

00:39:41.160 Population from 74,000 to 128.

00:39:47.360 And it's Somalis, Iraqis, Bosnians, Bangladeshis, Afghanistan refugees.

00:39:59.020 600 Somali families have occupied Fargo.

00:40:03.100 Somalis outnumbered Hispanics in Fargo in the public school system.

00:40:08.180 Refugee resettlement led by the Lutheran social services continued to bombard the state with foreign migrants. 0.97

00:40:15.000 70% of them embedded in the Fargo area.

00:40:19.400 According to census data gathered by the Center for Immigration Studies, 23% of all students in the Fargo school district are foreign-born.

00:40:29.080 That number was close to zero before the global war on terror.

00:40:35.820 Even though the people who are, listen to this, are most persecuted in the Middle East, and in the Syrian war in particular,

00:40:47.040 most of them were Christians, almost all of the refugees that have been sent to Fargo are Muslim.

00:40:55.020 From fiscal year 2012 to 2022, 1.6% of the 30,000 Syrians that were resettled, almost all of them were Sunni Muslims.

00:41:10.700 1.6% were Christians.

00:41:14.980 What's going on here?

00:41:16.660 Why aren't we looking at this?

00:41:21.460 Foreign-born population of North Dakota is now at a 103% increase from 2010 to 2021.

00:41:32.400 The unvetted Afghan refugees pumped in. 1.00

00:41:38.800 And now this, and nobody's talking about it.

00:41:43.220 That's the deep state.

00:41:46.740 That's making sure you don't know what's happening in our own communities.

00:41:51.940 That is excusing Islamic terrorism. 0.91

00:41:55.500 That is not being brought up because you don't want to know how many people are coming across our border that wish us ill.

00:42:04.200 And that's not just Islamic.

00:42:06.240 That's also Chinese and Russian and Iraqis.

00:42:11.380 There's a reason they don't want us focusing on that.

00:42:15.180 And there's a reason The Blaze has that story.

00:42:17.520 You can find it, TheBlaze.com.

00:42:20.340 The blackout of the Fargo terrorist attack.

00:42:23.460 TheBlaze.com.
