00:02:04.060 comes to wardrobes i want to tell you something this wardrobe thing today is absolutely yeah i'm

00:02:12.160 a sharp dresser am i uh you're obviously it's really yeah you're obviously watching the show this

00:02:19.260 morning yeah because i'm wearing a mark levin i'm especially watching your left part of your breast

00:02:28.180 there hey hey hey my eyes are up here buddy my eyes are up here how are you mark where they belong

00:02:35.260 i'm good how are you buddy uh you know frustrated but yeah you know that you know that very well

00:02:44.180 i'm doing great but the country's going to hell so that's a problem i know i know yeah good to talk

00:02:50.940 to you thank you well you know june 6th is very very important uh january rather excuse me uh january

00:02:56.920 6th is a very very important day uh it's the day i've really celebrate to hate the left hate them

00:03:03.640 more than i usually do and um i thought january 6th we should recognize as the day that murder has gone

00:03:11.800 through the roof thanks to democrat policies i really think we ought to turn january 6th into

00:03:17.580 an anniversary and uh isn't it sick the two realities we have the real one where people live and then this 0.95

00:03:25.340 phony collaboration with the media and the democrats and i could be it's like two damn

00:03:31.460 different worlds isn't it yeah it is and um you know the the media has gone from uh fake to knowingly

00:03:40.680 uh knowingly lying and obstructing uh they really are and i hated this when donald trump said it the

00:03:49.280 first time but they really have become the enemy of the people i mean this this january 6th thing is

00:03:53.940 total nonsense total nonsense well they've destroyed the free prince i mean when you watch

00:03:59.620 this guy trip todd with this haircut uh like eddie munster whatever they do they put like a spaghetti

00:04:06.260 stranger on his head and then they and then they take a razor i don't know what they do with this guy 0.63

00:04:11.440 but uh like the dumbest low iq guy and there he is all over nbc and then they have uh george stefanopoulos 0.97

00:04:19.900 who is a complete joke i mean everybody knows he used to you know attack women and now there he is 0.98

00:04:26.540 at abc and look what's going on just a second mark mark mark mark mark mark mark hang on just a second

00:04:32.000 stew can you get the producers on the phone and see if we can move uh uh steward scheller to next hour

00:04:39.780 because i i mean i don't want to i don't want to cheat steward of time and i also don't want to cut

00:04:44.960 mark off because uh yes we'll do you know mark is crankier than i am and that's saying something

00:04:51.020 today i was just calling about his life and i don't know what's going on now i know i know

00:04:59.440 so did you see kamala harris yesterday as soon as she came on i shut it off

00:05:06.080 she is so unlikable just absolutely unlikable you know if somebody has the worst voice in radio 0.97

00:05:15.440 that would be me her voice i listen to her voice and i can't stand it you know and you know she's

00:05:21.160 such a phony and it's just unbelievable to compare this to pearl harbor and 9-11 and stuff like that is

00:05:28.740 absolutely unbelievable the people who died the families and so forth and as you know and i'm sure

00:05:34.560 you've said it the only person who died that day was in his patriot who was uh who was shot dead but

00:05:41.140 the same people who celebrated the riots the same people who celebrated black lives matter and all

00:05:47.020 we don't need lessons from them it this is this whole thing is kind of a cover-up for pelosi who

00:05:54.380 didn't do what she should have done to protect that capitol building and have you ever seen a more

00:05:59.560 repugnant and repulsive person than liz cheney seriously i just just just grotesque

00:06:06.260 the bushes let me let me i don't come on till six you see yeah i know you got a long way to go 0.95

00:06:13.580 brother um let me uh let me play something here for you this is from biden's speech yesterday

00:06:19.800 can you yeah can you play the part where uh you know just because you lose the former president

00:06:27.380 of the united states of america has created and spread a web of lies about the 2020 election

00:06:35.440 he's done so because he values power over principle because he sees his own interest

00:06:43.580 is more important than his country's interest than america's interest and because his bruised ego

00:06:50.580 matters more to him than our democracy or our constitution he can't accept he lost

00:06:57.420 he can't accept that he lost please play uh cut five for me please here are the democrats

00:07:05.100 yes or no do you still maintain the 2018 election was stolen that's your language my full language was that

00:07:12.240 it was stolen from the voters of georgia we do not know what they would have done because not every

00:07:17.540 eligible georgian was permitted to participate fully in the election and you know this if katherine

00:07:24.060 harris jeb bush jim baker and the supreme court hadn't tampered with the results al gore would be

00:07:33.360 president

00:07:33.920 george bush would be back in austin i don't see this president elect as a legitimate president

00:07:45.180 you do not consider him a legitimate president and al gore and joel lieberman got 547 000 more votes

00:07:52.980 than george bush did for president united states folks you know it i know it they know it we won that

00:08:01.220 election i believe he knows he's an illegitimate president he knows he knows that there were a

00:08:08.980 bunch of different reasons why the election turned out the way it did let's go back to florida

00:08:15.280 we actually won the last presidential election folks they stole the last presidential election 0.53

00:08:21.600 i think it's also critical to understand that as i've been telling candidates who have come to see me

00:08:30.640 you can run the best campaign you can even become the nominee and you can have the election stolen

00:08:38.280 from you was president george bush legitimately elected without voter suppression stacy abrams would

00:08:47.260 be the governor of georgia okay stop they they cannot handle losing a single time a single time and

00:08:56.260 they're now blaming insurrection on this president questioning the outcome

00:09:02.680 there's no question about it and you know uh when their people blew up the capitol building in 1954

00:09:09.500 jimmy carter ultimately pardoned them and weather on the ground blew it up in 1971 clinton ultimately pardoned

00:09:16.540 them and one of the ringleaders was obama's buddy del airs and they attacked the pentagon and blew that up

00:09:24.020 then they blew up the state department then they circled back in 1983 and hit the capitol building

00:09:28.460 again um really january 6 is their may one it's their may day that's what we're dealing with here 0.98

00:09:35.720 as far as i'm concerned of course these are liars these are hypocrites they do this sort of thing 0.98

00:09:40.220 the biggest problem we have is the greatest enemy we have in this country is the democrat party 0.98

00:09:45.180 whether it's slavery or segregation or jim crow and now it's quote-unquote democratic socialism

00:09:50.820 they never embrace americanism this party has been a a poison a cancer on the on the groin of the of 0.97

00:09:59.700 american politics really and uh and you see the reprobates that that lead it biden biden is a nasty 0.94

00:10:07.040 man he he joined in with the segregationist when he got elected then he tried to destroy clarence thomas 1.00

00:10:12.860 he tried to destroy bob or this is a mean nasty guy kamala harris is as stupid as she seems to be 1.00

00:10:20.360 perfectly honest about and then you have nancy pelosi i call her eva pelosi because she called 0.99

00:10:26.760 those brave federal law enforcement men and women who are trying to protect the federal courthouse in

00:10:31.720 portland stormtroopers uh now of course she loves uh loves only law enforcement that protects her but

00:10:38.580 we could go on and on with this they're so corrupt the media corrupt these people are going to look at

00:10:44.360 chuck todd his wife is a democrat consultant he worked for harkin george stephan avalas with clinton you can

00:10:50.360 go right down the line the uh the the incestuous relationship between the press and the democrat

00:10:56.080 part you can't tell the difference between their propaganda ever and i'd love to see their texts and

00:11:01.560 emails they're so worried about hannity's can you imagine can you imagine the texts and emails between

00:11:06.560 people at cnn and msnbc and democrats with capitol hill oh yeah let me ask you this i just didn't i love

00:11:14.160 that sweatshirt you're wearing yeah you think you can get that uh at uh blaze merch i think you can

00:11:21.420 get that where what's the address where you can get this i don't really know i get it for free

00:11:25.420 yeah i got mine for free too i love it uh mark i wear it all the time um let me ask you this i just did

00:11:33.820 an interview with uh go ahead i'm sorry uh i just did an interview with donald trump in my mind there

00:11:41.280 is absolutely no doubt he is running again what are your thoughts on on him running is it the same

00:11:50.120 kind of outcome who do they have to run against him well uh they're worried about him running again

00:11:58.940 that's what this is all about obviously exactly right but they fear him more than anybody else

00:12:04.200 uh the rhinos the never trumpers fear him more than anybody else we have a very good team i mean

00:12:10.200 you got a lot of people you've got desantis and others right behind him but desantis is 43 years old

00:12:15.740 um you've got others but uh you know when you look at his presidency it was an enormously effective

00:12:23.200 presidency you know you and i backed ted cruz early on and then after the nomination we supported

00:12:27.800 donald trump and donald trump has been a far more conservative president than either of the

00:12:33.340 bushes uh neither than the rhinos would ever want him to be and i've come to really like the man

00:12:40.080 personally you've met him he's very charismatic he's very nice man he's a very kind man they'll

00:12:46.900 never show you that side of him because they attack attack attack the thing is and everybody knows it

00:12:52.380 look what they did with the fbi the fisa court the intelligence agencies criminal investigations

00:12:58.300 we have never seen anything like this before now the big lie january 6th i can tell you they don't

00:13:05.580 want to talk about what happened in the 2020 election you're only allowed to talk about what

00:13:09.580 they want you to talk about we'll talk about whatever the hell we want to and i have to tell you

00:13:14.880 mark yeah go ahead no go ahead i'm rambling i know but even putting aside the ballots and the

00:13:19.960 machines i can tell you in pennsylvania they violated the federal constitution my wife was 1.00

00:13:25.280 involved in that litigation they violated the federal constitution we stood for the constitution

00:13:30.660 the united states these democrats their lawyers were all over the country particularly in these

00:13:35.500 battleground states changing the rules through their their democrat elected judges through their

00:13:40.500 democrat governors overturning what republican state legislatures were doing which is a violation of

00:13:45.820 the federal constitution in order to set the groundwork for biden and we're not even allowed

00:13:51.040 to talk about it and so when these republican legislatures 19 of them so far have said that we're going to

00:13:55.960 fix this not to change uh the outcome of elections but to get them back where they can actually be

00:14:01.480 monitored jim crow and all the rest i mean uh tens of millions of people they are sick of this they're

00:14:09.020 fed up with the the the drama that the press creates and the democrat party creates these are

00:14:15.600 the same people who have lied to us over and over again about everything by the way mark levin

00:14:20.880 mark levin thanks for calling in man i really appreciate it uh by the way watch my special i if i think

00:14:30.900 you have a subscription to blaze tv yes watch the interview i did with uh donald trump about halfway

00:14:35.960 through i ask him about cleaning out all of the agencies and shutting down the department of ed

00:14:40.900 uh it's really telling you should really listen to that because i think that's what needs to be done

00:14:47.160 all these things just need to be cleaned out or shut down mark last thing congratulations on the number

00:14:54.620 one book of the year it i don't know of a conservative that has ever done that i couldn't be happier for

00:15:03.580 you tremendous book and thank you thank you and you are were a big help and it is a great honor

00:15:10.000 and i want to thank you for all you do with this country too man really you're just terrific so you

00:15:15.580 have a good day same with stew all right you too god bless god god bless you thanks mark levin

00:15:21.560 you're listening to the best of the glenbeck program

00:15:29.240 mr bill o'reilly is uh with us now hello bill

00:15:42.260 how was your holiday sir oh you're talking to me you're talking to me

00:15:49.620 unless i have another bill i mean i don't know you got 55 000 people on the show

00:15:54.780 i got a sweatshirt i got a sweatshirt okay do you if i send it when you wear it

00:16:01.000 okay i know i'm gonna have to send it to extra extra extra large but i'll get it i'll get it

00:16:06.880 whoa that's obviously a fat joke no i am possibly on my deathbed possibly on my deathbed with a bout

00:16:17.080 of covid and i'm still in here slugging away for america and you come with a fat joke

00:16:23.360 you know deeply i feel your pain even though i don't have covid because i don't go out of the

00:16:30.760 basement i live in the basement and i'm not going out i'm not going out for another two years

00:16:36.020 but i feel your pain back so i hope you get i will tell you this look i had covid before there

00:16:43.220 was a vaccine so i've been on the natural antibodies yeah and uh i just had an antibody

00:16:48.560 test a couple of weeks ago and i have it now uh again this is the second time but honestly

00:16:55.980 i it's really not that big of a deal it wiped me out the first time for about three weeks

00:17:00.800 i've had it since wednesday and i'm already on the rebound and i can't get any you know can't get any

00:17:06.820 kind of therapeutics because we either don't have any uh or they can't come to texas or my doctors

00:17:13.940 are too afraid because the the um uh the medical association is is manhandling all of our doctors

00:17:21.920 so but i'm making it bill i'm making him i'm glad to hear that back um but i'm sorry that your

00:17:28.260 antibodies betrayed you um but i only have one question i think your listeners have this question

00:17:33.340 too do you like hang out with covid infected people do you do you like go to a club and we

00:17:40.160 all have covid is that twice twice are you i had it before there was a vaccine it's not i had it

00:17:49.300 before there was a vaccine and so i got it early and then can i make a suggestion after you're better

00:17:57.540 which will be soon i think you should walk around carrying a little bell like they used to do with

00:18:02.640 leprosy just wherever you are just ring the bell so people know oh there he comes there's typhoid

00:18:09.420 back uh bill i just did an interview with uh with donald trump it aired yesterday he was exceptional

00:18:18.020 he wasn't wallowing in the past wasn't really talking about the past i got in all kinds of heat

00:18:23.660 for it because i didn't ask him a january 6 question you know i asked him things that i think the

00:18:27.940 average person care about gas prices inflation uh communists in every department uh anyway but i

00:18:35.520 i uh i was really impressed and i was left without a shadow of a doubt that he intends on running oh and

00:18:43.260 now with the attack yesterday by biden it's really personal now see um if you do that to donald trump if

00:18:52.260 you go out of your way to try to humiliate him and marginalize him which is exactly what biden did

00:18:58.160 for his whole speech yesterday and people should really understand what that was about it wasn't

00:19:03.080 about bringing the nation together and saying hey uh all sane people realize we cannot have this ever

00:19:11.040 again everybody should condemn it no it was he did it look at him he did it so what good is that

00:19:21.440 do we all know that biden and the democratic party believe that donald trump instigated and

00:19:27.420 encouraged the riot on january 6th everyone knows that so to do a national worldwide address and just

00:19:35.580 repeat that again with no advancement of hey you know maybe this is a good lesson that we can't be

00:19:46.060 kazakhstan because that's what they're doing this week um and that we have to solve our problems in a

00:19:54.180 better way no none of that it was take trump off the board for 2024 that's what it was about

00:20:03.940 there is also another attack that is mounting now uh somebody that was melania's uh pr person uh

00:20:11.500 uh i know tell me about this this is this this attack is amazing yeah when this woman was hired i 1.00

00:20:19.920 never met her i don't know her but i i went woo you know why why are you doing this now melania

00:20:28.240 uh i know this to be true um very close friends with this woman very very tight and she wanted

00:20:37.100 this grisham in the white house to be her spokesperson and then for a little while at the

00:20:44.320 end she went over to uh trump to be in that communications office but the i i think that 0.99

00:20:53.800 whether she what she says i don't know i mean i'm not reading her book it's a hatchet book it's like

00:20:59.360 mary trump they want to make money bashing trump wow okay um so i don't really care what she says

00:21:06.180 but the sense of betrayal here when you're that tight with somebody as she was with melania trump

00:21:13.900 when you're invited to work for the white house which is an honor no matter who's in there and

00:21:20.540 then you turn around and you try to destroy them oh boy you know people should really start to walk

00:21:27.000 away from this kind of stuff you know and what people don't understand is um jonathan height did a

00:21:34.020 great book stew what was the name of this book came out about five years ago the righteous mind

00:21:38.240 the righteous mind and he laid out the the things that we have in common um but are shifted and we

00:21:47.660 all have we all have loyalty in common we appreciate loyalty but it is at the bottom of the list for

00:21:54.580 uh democrats and at the top it's the number one trait uh that people look towards uh who are

00:22:02.080 conservative that you say what you mean and you mean what you say and you you stand you're not a

00:22:08.320 fair weather friend you have a little dignity you know you know beck i gotta make i gotta make an 0.88

00:22:13.140 observation here your analysis and and bringing that to the uh attention of your listeners is very 0.81

00:22:22.360 important so maybe you should always have covet you see you're you're more cogent now shut up more 0.78

00:22:29.720 you're lucid now so who are the who are the what is the candidate that could because there's a lot

00:22:39.420 of republicans that i've talked to that say if he runs it's going to be the same thing and they're

00:22:45.360 going to do the same thing and everybody's going to be absolutely right and everybody's going to be

00:22:50.060 so tired of it they're going to want another choice and they just might go with the democrat

00:22:53.860 and i cannot come up with a democrat that there's no there's no way they'll stay home so the people

00:23:00.840 who are fed up with biden and trump and there are millions of them will just stay home but independence

00:23:07.240 will i think if things continue along this line with the biden administration failing on every level

00:23:15.600 and if they aren't failing on every level please tell me what level they're succeeding on

00:23:20.060 correct you know i'm open-minded i'd like to hear where the success is but if we continue along these

00:23:28.020 lines it's going to be okay oh who is going to do the least amount of damage i mean that's what it's

00:23:36.520 going to be you're always going to have donald trump's flamboyance to use a kind word it's never

00:23:43.400 going to go away so you have and and that's a decision i made and and so this is personal for me

00:23:49.440 so i said to myself do i want to go out on a history tour with a controversial guy like donald trump

00:23:56.160 um where i know i'm going to get attacked and i did i mean you know but i can handle it um or do i

00:24:03.560 just want to pass and and just continue to do i didn't need to do that tour um but i decided to do

00:24:09.840 it because i think based upon the facts that trump did a good job in the four years representing the

00:24:19.120 united states he did that's what my belief now do i like the way he handled himself sometimes now

00:24:25.960 and i've told him that and i told him that so wait the independent the new poll shows independence

00:24:32.500 biden has hit an all-time low of 24 24 percent approval rating wow that's unheard of so who is

00:24:42.620 going to run against donald trump well everyone looks like mariam you know maybe liz cheney will

00:24:49.680 run no no no no no no i mean i mean on the democratic side far out that's not that look she's not going 0.98

00:24:56.860 to win in wyoming she's not going to be a congressperson anymore so she could absolutely primary trump 1.00

00:25:05.560 um big name she can raise money so that's not that crazy out but if the republicans believe that trump 0.99

00:25:15.020 is not going to win primary him so my question is because i think he gets the the nomination uh my

00:25:23.340 question is who do the democrats run against him because they're not going to run biden

00:25:27.780 i don't think so either but they don't have anybody to run so then you're going to fall back on hillary 0.88

00:25:35.320 clinton who's already raising money again man i i just said this last week hillary clinton is going to 0.76

00:25:44.220 run again that's who he'll run against and she's already setting it up because she knows what a 0.94

00:25:50.800 fiasco the biden administration is look even if you loathe hillary clinton and bill they have a machine

00:26:01.340 okay they know how to govern in a sense that it's not a disorganized mess it's not a kamala harris

00:26:11.100 coming out and excoriating the capital protesters while she wanted to raise bail money for the people 1.00

00:26:18.580 who were burning down cities i mean that's just insane if you were writing her speech would you

00:26:23.980 really want to do that well would you really want to bring attention to that no you could have

00:26:30.040 avoided that and said this is a bad thing let's get the problem solved so we don't have to do this again

00:26:38.380 that was a speech you should have gave but they have no awareness at all but the clintons do 1.00

00:26:43.700 and so it could be a setup between trump and hillary again that would be amazing bill o'reilly what uh

00:26:52.560 what do you think the big story of the week is was it january 6th yeah i mean i think that's the big

00:27:00.900 story of the week but it's gonna die and then you know they'll do all the sunday shows you know what

00:27:06.100 they'll do uh reprise and how terrible trump is um but if you really want to step back the biggest

00:27:12.820 story of the week was one million americans uh contracting covet or reporting it on monday

00:27:19.900 i mean that is just an amazing number uh i think this is i i think this is actually really good

00:27:27.300 bill because yeah i understand i mean if it's i mean i think model if the south african model holds

00:27:33.560 that you'll have another few weeks of this and then it'll fall off the cliff and then so many people

00:27:39.040 have the antibodies which of course turned on you um that'll will die out and maybe some planes will

00:27:47.620 like get back in the air uh yeah because there's covid unintended consequences is amazing go ahead

00:27:53.700 yeah uh but it's not really covid consequences i i think it is more of the government consequences

00:28:01.380 we could get back to america uh in probably a few weeks here if they would stop uh helping people

00:28:12.440 stay home by giving them more money than they can make out in the in the private sector i think

00:28:18.760 i i agree 100 on that and i know you and i have disagreed in the past but um if you step back on this

00:28:28.740 the best thing for the government do now because they can't answer any questions i mean they can't

00:28:34.020 even answer a question like how long does a vaccine last they can't even answer it so they don't have

00:28:40.060 any information for us so just shut up you know i told stew a few uh weeks ago to do that but now i'm 0.74

00:28:46.240 going to take that back stook and talk but the federal government can't because they don't know

00:28:51.440 anything about covid you know anthony fauci we we should do the pinata thing with him he has to run

00:28:57.880 through a long line and we just whack them with you know i don't want to hurt but with paper or

00:29:04.560 something because this is just a farce now it's crazy now uh and the fact that you know i i have

00:29:13.480 i you know there's really uh no treatments that the government is recommending or pushing or not

00:29:23.400 tearing down that's the key they're tearing down everything that is a treatment well millions of

00:29:29.700 americans are getting it so what do we do besides isolate at home everything that is a possible 0.99

00:29:36.460 treatment that i personally know people who have done other treatments once they've gotten it and

00:29:42.140 it's helped them the government is standing in the way of i mean it is it's so clear what this

00:29:48.220 government is doing but i don't know i think it's almost over i have to sit one out because i don't

00:29:54.300 know i'm not a medical person the fda is supposed to um you know say this stuff is safe i don't know

00:30:02.000 what i do my advice to everybody is get a doctor you trust follow the doctor's advice don't listen to

00:30:09.960 the government i mean you know i'd have to give that advice to doctors now i'd have to give that advice

00:30:16.220 to doctors now because doctors a lot of doctors are not able to do the things that they truly believe

00:30:23.140 in and have seen work um but what does your doctor have a solution to you i mean do they recommend

00:30:32.920 therapeutics for you my doctor yeah absolutely my doctor got me through the first case uh i think it

00:30:40.160 would have been even worse than it was he got me through the first case um but now any of the the

00:30:46.040 other therapeutics he is he's like i glenn if i write it he said i've already been threatened i

00:30:52.100 think it's because he's my doctor um he said i've already been threatened that you know don't go off

00:30:58.240 the beaten path it's awful it is awful and there are a lot of doctors that feel that way all right

00:31:04.460 thank you so much uh for being on i'm sorry to cut you loose early this week uh but we had a shift in

00:31:12.880 the schedule because of a call with mark levin uh but thanks a lot we'll talk to you again next week

00:31:17.760 bill o'reilly make sure you follow him on billoreilly.com is no spin zone on every day billoreilly.com

00:31:26.200 this is the best of the glennbeck program

00:31:32.280 michael malice joining us before i get there i just want to say um because last night the painting

00:31:43.400 that i did of joe lewis um being knocked out by max schmeling schmeling called uh that i call it

00:31:50.560 the birth of a champion uh was trending last night because it was it was on during an interview with

00:31:56.600 uh with donald trump and uh they're calling it nazi propaganda it couldn't be further from the

00:32:01.940 truth i've said that i'm not going to sell this there's one person i would sell this to i would

00:32:06.540 sell it to joe rogan because he would appreciate the uh uh the message in this if joe wants to buy it

00:32:14.480 great otherwise i'm keeping the original but i am going to today i'm asking somebody to come over

00:32:20.280 um you know with a mask and gloves and get it and copy it because i am going to sell prints of this

00:32:26.700 um because it's you know that controversial nazi painting by glennbeck which has nothing to do with

00:32:34.080 that has everything to do with learn your lesson stand back up and knock that guy out uh all right

00:32:40.900 michael malice is with us hi michael good morning how are you sir i'm much better than you my condolences

00:32:48.980 on your uh illness uh and and whatever you think i promise you it's not karma

00:32:53.680 it might be it might be but you know i had it before there was a vaccine so i've been riding on

00:33:02.920 the antibodies um and uh i just got it what wednesday i just it hit me like a bag of bricks

00:33:10.860 but now with an exception of just some lingering mouth problems with my voice uh i'm pretty much

00:33:17.660 past it i mean it the first time i had it it knocked me out for about three weeks uh this

00:33:22.720 is just like a really really bad cold this time yeah two of my friends got it over the weekend

00:33:27.980 and and uh it's it's it's a scary word you know like i was feeling a little bit under weather last

00:33:33.340 week and i'm like is this it is this you know is this showtime uh and it was just kind of allergies

00:33:38.520 whatever but it's scary and i hope everyone listening you know stays healthy and happy of course

00:33:43.320 yeah michael i don't know if you heard this uh glenn talking about the backstory of this uh painting

00:33:49.580 that he did of joe lewis and max schmeling and this reaction from chris hayes of msnbc and you know

00:33:56.320 to be fair tons of other people on the left uh he they see this painting in the background of one of

00:34:01.740 his interviews they say oh my gosh he's got nazi propaganda up there because this is when max

00:34:07.020 schmeling had beaten joe lewis and you know any simple googling gets you to the explanation as to

00:34:13.960 what this painting is that glenn's praising you know like you have a failure and that turns your

00:34:18.720 life around and that's the important moment when you when you fail that that leads to success in the

00:34:23.900 future and you know you've talked about the media really well over over the years and you i think

00:34:27.960 understand this better than so many others what is the motivation here like why would you embarrass

00:34:32.860 yourself and not even look for the facts here why just attack your opponents with with without any

00:34:39.640 knowledge whether you're right or wrong google's a google search i'm going to give you two answers

00:34:45.960 first i'm going to play devil's advocate because i i think you guys remember it was like a year ago

00:34:50.700 when former senator senate candidate harold ford was staying at an airbnb and behind him on the wall

00:34:56.980 with andy warhol's painting of chairman mal and warhol meant it as a finger to mal

00:35:01.780 as an example of how mal had become a quote-unquote celebrity in the same way that warhol painted

00:35:07.720 elizabeth taylor and mal in the row and all the conservators were freaking out that this was communist

00:35:13.140 propaganda even though it wasn't his house and even though it would be a simple googling so that's

00:35:16.980 number one so this goes people misunderstand art very easily the whole point of art is that it's

00:35:22.620 open to interpretation and the other problem is people who are corporate journalists are often not

00:35:27.920 very bright so they are going to have that knee-jerk reaction but as you guys have seen as everyone

00:35:32.620 listening to this knows the demand for nazis outweighs the supply there is such desperation

00:35:39.800 on the part of you know corporate media outlets to find nazis that they're looking for them

00:35:47.080 everywhere uh to the point where people are often painting you know uh fascist slogans to demonstrate

00:35:54.140 that there's fascism and they're later caught and they're often you know so you're minority people

00:35:59.220 are minority you're you're saying this is nazi inflation too many nazi hunters chasing too few

00:36:05.100 nazis i mean we we laugh but i mean it would be a very serious problem and it's not to pretend that

00:36:13.100 there are no you know quasi fascists in american culture and certainly in europe nowadays but the 0.97

00:36:19.740 premise that glenn beck would be dumb enough to sit in front of a nazi painting while he's interviewing 0.82

00:36:27.560 a president and have that be some kind of subtle dog whistle that no one's going to pick up that is 0.99

00:36:33.540 what's amazing they have a complete lack of ability to empathize with other perspectives and they're just

00:36:40.600 waiting in every moment for the math to drop so to speak which is kind of a bit of projection

00:36:45.960 uh and you saw this also with uh you know the trump's charlotte charlotte speech where when he

00:36:51.720 condemned white nationalists in the same breath when he said both sides the clip is there it's in

00:36:57.160 indisputable but you know president biden brings it up to this day so what is your take on

00:37:04.800 i think that's the biggest story of the week he's kind of a little bit there um michael but he said uh

00:37:11.140 what's your take on january 6th if that didn't come through oh yeah so i mean

00:37:15.940 i mean i mean it's very tragic uh aoc had to talk to a cop for five minutes and she was traumatized

00:37:22.840 for months rashida tlaib remember was crying on the floor of the house aoc had to comfort her uh

00:37:29.040 there were some bottles of water knocked over someone had to speed up on pelosi's death here's

00:37:33.720 my takeaway and and i'm going to get a little bit serious for a minute where has president trump been

00:37:39.420 he defended the people when he was giving that charlottesville speech the people when he said

00:37:44.480 there's good people on both sides he was referring to the controversy about removing statues that's

00:37:50.000 what he was defending the people were saying we shouldn't remove statues the people on january 6th

00:37:55.460 were his people they were all his people these were his hardcore supporters now they're being held

00:38:00.620 in detention in horrible conditions for who knows how long they are his hardcore supporters

00:38:06.260 and he shrugs his shoulders and i think this is the big problem that conservatives have to appreciate

00:38:12.660 when it comes to donald trump we had four years of president trump being attacked for the most

00:38:18.660 demented things imaginable including how many scoops of ice cream he had yes that he fed the fish wrong

00:38:24.300 when he was in japan even though he's following the prime minister's lead queen elizabeth gestured for

00:38:29.740 him to walk in front of her which he did then she couldn't get around him because he's a lot bigger

00:38:34.420 they cropped the first part where she gestured so it looks like he just stood in front of her like

00:38:39.060 a buffoon so we had four years of that so understandably conservatives got protective

00:38:44.340 and defensive of president trump he's not in office now it's been a year and i would encourage 0.85

00:38:49.560 conservatives take a step back and realize not every criticism of president trump has been inaccurate

00:38:55.120 because the man has shown a severe lack of loyalty towards people who have been loyal to him

00:39:01.800 and i'm thinking specifically of michael flynn and i'm thinking of especially of jeff session

00:39:06.660 who was probably the strongest anti-illegal immigrant person in the senate became attorney

00:39:12.580 general because of him trump got him primaried and he blew a senate seat in alabama how does that happen

00:39:19.620 so if people are looking forward to 2024 keep in mind this guy's loyalty is a one-way street and

00:39:27.040 that's a big problem because conservatives tend to be very very loyal people

00:39:31.420 i i agree with that we were just talking about how loyalty is number one you i know you know the

00:39:38.060 jonathan uh height book um but loyalty is number one on the scale and it's it's interesting because

00:39:44.040 i do think that it that is the number one thing with donald trump is loyalty um and in talking to

00:39:51.960 him you know i just sat down with him uh about a month ago and then i had dinner with him and his

00:39:56.000 wife and i i came away with the impression and this is just from you know the off the record just

00:40:03.080 dinner conversation i came away from that meeting feeling as though the truly the main reason he would run

00:40:13.640 again is because he doesn't want to let the people down that he trusted and said i will do this

00:40:20.980 and then was doing it and then and then lost and he knows he can fix it and he is expressed it in

00:40:29.380 several different ways but it was the same thing i'm not going to leave those people without anyone who

00:40:37.560 will fight for them i here let's bring some receipts when president trump got into office the federal

00:40:45.200 the federal budget was four trillion dollars under obama two years later before covid it was 4.4

00:40:52.760 trillion an increase of 10 percent under his watch he was he promised as when he campaigned and this

00:41:00.360 was a very legitimate promise from his background that he knew the best people and he was going to

00:41:05.940 staff his cabinet with the best people and we thought he was going to bring in all these outsiders 1.00

00:41:10.880 people you'd never expect to see in politics and the next thing you know it's rent previous

00:41:15.380 and the chairman of exxon is the secretary of state his staffing decisions i think everyone has to

00:41:22.900 acknowledge were horrible he's driving out people who have so mind like steve bannon and he's bringing

00:41:29.000 in the swamp creatures all right so let me let me just push back on that and because i'd like to hear

00:41:34.860 your opinion on it um i in the interview i did i said you got a clean house um and he talked about

00:41:43.300 he talked about the you know he had two jobs to fix the country and to survive and he said uh i can't go

00:41:52.900 in there with the same gop i can't go in there with the same group of people i have to have people

00:41:59.140 around me that are on the same page because pretty much i gotta fire everybody in every department

00:42:05.600 and i think he gets that i've talked to people who are inside the administration before and

00:42:10.760 they said the one mistake that they made was they underestimated the power of all of these long-term

00:42:18.760 bureaucrats and the republican party uh that they would be so against him um and he's not gonna he's not

00:42:26.980 gonna repeat that now i don't know who he staffs it with and who he gets to have the balls to run some

00:42:33.080 of these things to fire or shut down these departments um but that's what it's going to

00:42:38.500 take one way or another love to hear your response so if you don't know who michael malice is um he is

00:42:44.740 the guy who's written the anarchist handbook he is an anarchist but not the antifa throw bombs

00:42:51.640 through windows kind of uh anarchist am i right on that michael please verify that i not through

00:42:57.920 windows but you know um he does he believes that if there were no government um we would be we'd all

00:43:09.100 be better off i i disagree with that but i i lean towards uh in fact i don't lean towards i'd like to

00:43:16.860 shut down all of the department of fill in the blank i'd like them all to be gone um they have

00:43:23.840 no they have no place in our in our um in our government in my opinion so michael is coming

00:43:31.620 from a different place but i like that because he makes me think things through and pushes me up

00:43:37.440 against the wall so i i question the things that i think i believe i think that's really important

00:43:43.540 so michael your response on what i just said here about a minute ago right so you were talking about

00:43:49.140 how president trump said to you uh that he understands he has to you know fire a lot of

00:43:53.780 these staffers and bring in good people my pushback would be like does he understand this or does he

00:44:00.060 understand what he needs to say to you in order to maintain your support in the next cycle and here's

00:44:06.620 the evidence to the contrary there's something called revealed preferences right if you tell your

00:44:11.420 spouse i love you i love you i love you but you're never home and you're cheating on them 0.77

00:44:15.440 talk is cheap your actions are telling trump is launching a social media company who did he hire to

00:44:22.700 run this social media company devin nunez devin nunez's entire background is being one a dairy farmer

00:44:29.400 and then a congressman what does he know about running a social media company all he knows is he has a

00:44:35.540 rolodex in washington he's a creature of the swamp now he might be a great conservative he might i'm sure

00:44:40.040 he's a very ethical great person so on and so forth but to say that he's some kind of outsider

00:44:44.780 is nonsensical so trump had the opportunity to and the other thing is and this is not his fault

00:44:51.780 he's been rendered so radioactive why would i if i was working in wall street san francisco la new york

00:45:00.940 why would i want working on the trump administration on my resume it would ruin my career and again this is

00:45:07.500 not trump's fault at all but that has been an issue for him in the past and going forward it's going

00:45:12.960 to be even more of an issue yeah i i do agree with that it is going to be hard to get people and then

00:45:18.740 that is you know we have to have people who understand where we are in our society it is

00:45:26.520 look it's almost lights out time uh and um you know maybe we deserve it um because we have taken

00:45:34.800 this for granted for so long uh and we've been running on other generations vapors for so long and

00:45:42.160 we've become this monstrosity uh that is all run in washington so uh maybe we deserve it but i think

00:45:50.240 the original premise is worth uh uh saving i don't know where he gets those people i mean you know

00:45:57.020 you look at denovan nunez you see him as an insider i see him as an insider outsider you know what i mean

00:46:02.540 he's a guy who's been there who doesn't like the way it's running and has been standing up for it it's a

00:46:08.040 little like ran paul yes he's in um but he's he's working hard from within to try to uh to shut it down

00:46:17.620 are those people are important or are they the same they're very important i'm not questioning

00:46:22.860 that at all but my point to you is what evidence do you have that devin nunez knows anything about

00:46:27.640 social media now it's so the it runs so it's clear that trump got him as he hires most of his people

00:46:34.660 because of a sense of loyalty to him now that's very important because he's been betrayed left and

00:46:39.260 right but my point is he's because of all the forces against him conservative have to appreciate

00:46:45.540 he got beaten by a corpse in the 2020 election and these same forces are now even more powerful

00:46:52.280 because they have the white house and you can't tell me that he shouldn't have seen it coming

00:46:57.780 all the machinations that the democrats did in various states to finagle the vote to make sure

00:47:03.260 they got the result they wanted there was that time magazine article bragging about these coalitions

00:47:08.060 that was behind the scenes molly hemingway uh did a great book called rig discussing it it's nothing

00:47:12.900 to the voting machines it had to do it with a year-long uh series of attempts including things

00:47:18.840 by mark zuckerberg to get the result i agree with you michael malice thanks for stopping in

00:47:24.440 michael malice you can follow him at michael malice
