The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ Guests： Michael Shellenberger & Peter Schweizer ｜ 9⧸4⧸24

00:00:00.000 Today's podcast is a must-listen-to for anybody who is keeping tab on what is going on and the trouble that is approaching, how close is it.

00:00:10.500 There's a couple of things. First of all, Donald Trump hinted at releasing the client list and everybody who was at Pedophile Island with Jeffrey Epstein.

00:00:20.800 Another reason why the left just cannot allow the president to win, not that that's a lefty thing, but it is absolutely a global government thing.

00:00:32.640 We talk about that global government and how it is starting to flex its muscles with Michael Schellenberger, who's on his way down to Brazil.

00:00:42.520 We are involved in stifling freedom of speech all over the country, but especially in Brazil.

00:00:50.800 Also, some of the great ideas that are coming our way from the UN, the European Union, and the Harris-Biden administration on unrealized taxes on your house and whatever investment you have.

00:01:09.440 And some new UN tax that the Harris-Biden administration are actually pushing for, a global corporate tax.

00:01:23.720 Wow. All that and Peter Schweitzer on Kathy Hochul's China Connection.

00:01:30.220 All on today's podcast. Here it is.

00:01:32.180 When it comes time to being prepared for disasters, there is no time like the present.

00:01:43.100 I hope you have a victory garden.

00:01:45.520 But if you don't, and most people don't, don't and don't, we have no connection to the land anymore.

00:02:57.500 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:03:02.360 Hello, Steve.

00:03:03.160 How are you?

00:03:03.660 Glenn, very well.

00:03:04.620 How are you?

00:03:05.500 Oh, well, I'm very good.

00:03:08.420 Let me, I mean, for being strung out on heroin.

00:03:10.960 Let me play.

00:03:12.640 Did you hear, Eric Weinstein, what the podcast he was on, Modern Wisdom?

00:03:18.780 I didn't hear the clip.

00:03:19.840 I was reading about it, though.

00:03:21.560 Okay.

00:03:21.880 You really, this is a good podcast that you should probably listen to.

00:03:25.740 A lot of wisdom there.

00:03:27.920 A lot of wisdom.

00:03:28.980 And it's kind of what we've been saying for a while now.

00:03:35.060 But I don't know.

00:03:36.300 Eric says it, and it just seems much, much smarter.

00:03:39.540 It's kind of like, you know, Eric is much, much smarter.

00:03:43.180 But if he had an English accent, it'd be game over.

00:03:47.040 Everybody would listen to everything he has to say.

00:03:49.400 So here he is on Donald Trump.

00:03:52.180 Listen.

00:03:53.040 I don't know whether.

00:03:55.580 I don't know whether Donald Trump will be allowed to become president.

00:04:02.660 What do you mean by that?

00:04:03.520 I think that there's a remarkable story, and we're in a funny game, which is, are we allowed

00:04:12.980 to say what that story is?

00:04:15.060 Because to say it, to analyze it, to name it, is to bring it into view.

00:04:22.160 I think we don't understand why the censorship is behaving the way it is.

00:04:28.460 We don't understand why it's in the shadows.

00:04:30.540 We don't understand why our news is acting in a bizarre fashion.

00:04:33.740 So let's just set the stage, given that that was in February.

00:04:42.120 There is something that I think Mike Benz has just referred to as the rules-based international

00:04:49.180 order.

00:04:49.680 It's an interlocking series of agreements, tacit understandings, explicit understandings,

00:04:55.040 clandestine understandings, about how the most important structures keep the world free

00:05:02.080 of war and keep markets open.

00:05:06.840 And there has been a system in place, whether understood explicitly or behind the scenes or

00:05:16.060 implicitly, it says that the purpose of the two American parties is to prune the field of populist

00:05:24.580 candidates so that whatever two candidates exist in a face-off are both acceptable to that world order.

00:05:33.880 So what you're trying to do from the point of view, let's take it from the point of view of, let's say, the State Department,

00:05:40.100 the intelligence community, the Defense Department, and major corporations that have to do with

00:05:46.960 international issues from arms trade to, oh, I don't know, food.

00:05:51.340 They have a series of agreements that are fragile and could be overturned if a president entered the

00:06:00.720 Oval Office who didn't agree with them and the mood of the country was, why do we pay taxes into these

00:06:06.240 structures?

00:06:06.820 Why are we hamstrung?

00:06:07.920 Why aren't we a free people?

00:06:08.940 So what the two parties would do is that they would run primaries.

00:06:13.620 You have populist candidates and you'd pre-commit the populist candidates to support the candidates

00:06:18.860 who won the primaries.

00:06:21.520 As long as that took place and you had two candidates that were both acceptable to the

00:06:27.340 international order, that is, they aren't going to rethink NAFTA or NATO or what have you.

00:06:32.520 We called that democracy.

00:06:34.120 And so democracy was the illusion of choice, what's called magician's choice, where the

00:06:39.420 choice is not actually, you know, pick a card, any card, but somehow the magician makes sure

00:06:43.440 that the card that you pick is the one that he knows.

00:06:46.640 In that situation, you have magician's choice in the primaries and then you'd have the duopoly

00:06:51.960 field, two candidates, either of which was acceptable, and you could actually afford to

00:06:55.780 hold an election and the populists would vote.

00:06:59.580 And that way, the international order wasn't put at risk every four years because you can't

00:07:03.520 have alliances that are subject to the whim of, um, the people in plebiscites.

00:07:11.780 So under that structure, everything was going fine until 2016.

00:07:16.200 And then the first candidate ever to not hold, um, any position in the military nor position

00:07:22.800 in government, uh, in the history of the Republic to enter the Oval Office, Donald Trump broke

00:07:26.780 through the primary structure.

00:07:27.960 So then there was a full court press.

00:07:30.100 Okay.

00:07:30.220 We only have one candidate that's acceptable to the international order. 0.99

00:07:33.620 Donald Trump will be under, um, constant pressure that he's a loser. 0.99

00:07:38.940 He's a wild man. 1.00

00:07:39.860 He's an idiot. 1.00

00:07:41.520 And, and he's under control of the Russians. 1.00

00:07:43.860 And then he was going to be a, you know, a 20 to one underdog and then he wins.

00:07:51.060 And there was no precedent for this.

00:07:53.100 They learned their lesson.

00:07:55.900 You cannot afford to have candidates who are not acceptable to the international order

00:08:01.320 and continue to have these alliances.

00:08:03.180 This is an unsolved problem. 0.81

00:08:09.280 Now I've been saying for a long time, they're going to kill him because it upsets their plans.

00:08:19.240 And he's the one standing in the way cause he won't play their game.

00:08:23.620 Now, Eric may have expressed, expressed this in a more understandable way.

00:08:32.680 Um, but he's absolutely right.

00:08:36.000 One hundred percent right.

00:08:39.740 Um, and that's why honestly they're playing the game in the democratic party where you didn't

00:08:46.020 get a choice.

00:08:46.800 You didn't have a primary.

00:08:48.200 You didn't have a primary.

00:08:51.120 And that's because the president's going to run, but the president can't run.

00:08:55.100 So now you didn't have a primary and you have the most unpopular candidate ever.

00:09:02.460 She's never been, she was never popular.

00:09:05.020 She wasn't popular just two months ago, but now, oh my gosh, she's hung the moon in the 0.99

00:09:09.040 stars and we don't know anything about what she plans on doing.

00:09:14.480 Okay.

00:09:15.220 All right.

00:09:16.240 But she won't upset the international order.

00:09:19.020 She won't upset the, uh, the plans that places like the W E F and the United nations.

00:09:26.440 And now all of the Western leadership has come up with, but you'll notice those plans are

00:09:32.160 extremely unpopular with the people all around the world.

00:09:36.540 Every, every Western country now is in turmoil because they're doing the same thing to them

00:09:42.900 that they're doing to us.

00:09:43.900 And that is collapse us.

00:09:45.540 Now, I believe this to be true.

00:09:51.120 I believe they'll do anything to stop him from winning.

00:09:55.740 Uh, they would put us into chaos.

00:09:58.120 Uh, they would put us into civil war before they would have him win.

00:10:02.320 They put us in world war before they'd have him. 0.71

00:10:05.620 Uh, and Donald Trump, I just, please, Mr. President, please.

00:10:11.780 They've tried to kill you once.

00:10:14.500 Please.

00:10:15.540 Don't make it worse.

00:10:19.460 Don't make it worse.

00:10:21.840 Yesterday he was on a podcast and he was on the Lex Friedman, uh, podcast.

00:10:28.320 And, uh, he got a lot of questions from Lex on, you know, foreign policy, et cetera, et cetera,

00:10:33.740 the future going forward.

00:10:35.220 Hey, you know, he started talking about, you know, the Kennedy files and how the Kennedy

00:10:42.720 files, he kept classified because, uh, it was protection of people, which I'm not sure

00:10:49.700 is exactly accurate.

00:10:51.900 I don't know what's in the Kennedy files, but I've talked to people who have seen it and

00:10:56.580 they have led me to believe that it is not about people.

00:10:59.540 It's about institutions, but who knows?

00:11:01.940 Um, but Trump said, you know, I probably would not release the Kennedy files.

00:11:09.320 However, uh, Stu, what's the one thing you could say as a presidential candidate that's pretty 0.96

00:11:17.800 much guaranteed that you, uh, you're dead. 0.63

00:11:21.080 Well, um, you're going to release the Epstein files.

00:11:27.020 Yes, yes, that would be, yes, yes, but I am going to release the Epstein files, uh, and 0.82

00:11:34.760 the client list.

00:11:36.200 Uh, it's very strange for a lot of people that the list of clients that, uh, went to

00:11:41.800 the Island has not been made public.

00:11:44.060 Yeah.

00:11:44.760 It's interesting, isn't it?

00:11:46.160 Said Donald Trump.

00:11:47.560 It probably will be.

00:11:49.380 Um, he said, uh, I'll take a look at it, uh, on the, uh, client list, but yeah, I'm inclined

00:11:59.120 to do the, uh, Epstein thing.

00:12:00.820 I'd have no problem with releasing that list.

00:12:03.780 Okay.

00:12:04.520 All right.

00:12:05.820 All right.

00:12:07.440 Remember Donald Trump is definitely not suicidal, but if they could put him in jail, he might

00:12:14.300 become suicidal and some cameras might go down.

00:12:17.360 Oh my gosh.

00:12:18.460 Ooh.

00:12:19.380 It's happened before.

00:12:20.420 This is, uh, oh, it did.

00:12:22.780 Yeah.

00:12:23.120 Yeah.

00:12:23.420 It's happened before.

00:12:24.360 Really?

00:12:24.720 But not related to Epstein.

00:12:26.140 No.

00:12:26.480 Right.

00:12:26.740 Sure not.

00:12:27.380 No.

00:12:27.720 Okay.

00:12:28.080 Yeah.

00:12:28.360 The philanthropist.

00:12:29.400 No, no, no.

00:12:32.260 The philanthropist.

00:12:35.020 Yeah.

00:12:35.940 Uh, do we have this clip here?

00:12:37.000 Do you want to hear it, Glenn?

00:12:38.540 Yeah.

00:12:38.980 Yeah.

00:12:39.120 Here we go.

00:12:40.140 But a lot of big people went to that Island.

00:12:42.740 But fortunately, I was not one of them.

00:12:47.040 It's just very strange for a lot of people that, uh, the list of clients that went to

00:12:52.780 the Island has not been made public.

00:12:55.480 Yeah.

00:12:56.240 It's, it's very interesting, isn't it?

00:12:59.000 Probably will be, by the way.

00:13:00.880 Probably.

00:13:01.160 So if you were able to, you'll be.

00:13:03.040 Yeah.

00:13:03.300 I'd certainly take a look at it.

00:13:04.620 Now, Kennedy's interesting because it's so many years ago, you know, they do that for

00:13:10.000 danger too, because, you know, it endangers certain people, et cetera, et cetera.

00:13:14.440 So Kennedy, uh, is very different from the Epstein thing, but yeah, I'd be inclined to

00:13:21.320 do the Epstein.

00:13:22.060 I'd have no problem with it.

00:13:25.060 Hmm.

00:13:27.480 Um, it's currently with, uh, the FBI and it's under the control of one person at the

00:13:34.460 FBI.

00:13:35.160 So what could possibly go wrong with that?

00:13:38.380 Uh, if it disappears, uh, that would be unfortunate, wouldn't it, Stu?

00:13:43.340 And completely unexpected.

00:13:46.800 Yeah.

00:13:47.320 It'd be shocking.

00:13:48.060 That would be a shocking development.

00:13:49.420 It would be.

00:13:49.720 You know, sometimes, look, sometimes people lose documents, you know, happens all the

00:13:55.100 time.

00:13:55.540 Oops.

00:13:55.960 I just dropped it in the shredder.

00:13:57.380 Yeah.

00:13:57.960 Uh, my daughter lost her homework just last week and, uh, it was, you know, it was a rough

00:14:03.120 day at school.

00:14:03.800 I think, uh, you know, this, this happens to people all, all the time.

00:14:08.440 There are shredders all over the place.

00:14:10.700 All they, you sometimes, sometimes you get up in the morning and you, uh, you almost

00:14:14.980 actually, you're thinking, I'm going to step into the shower and you almost step into the

00:14:18.460 shredder.

00:14:18.860 It happens.

00:14:19.360 It happens.

00:14:19.780 It happens.

00:14:20.220 It happens.

00:14:20.900 All the time.

00:14:21.380 All the time.

00:14:21.880 I mean, another example is, I mean, you, you noted yesterday that your neighbor's property

00:14:26.120 was on fire.

00:14:27.020 What happened if a fire broke out?

00:14:28.680 What happened?

00:14:30.060 Where that document was.

00:14:32.240 Oh man.

00:14:33.080 In the safe.

00:14:34.560 In the safe at the FBI.

00:14:36.080 Yeah.

00:14:36.380 Sometimes, you know, fires can happen anywhere, Glenn.

00:14:38.700 Uh, you know, sometimes there's little fires that just start up in safes and, and, you know.

00:14:43.280 I knew we shouldn't have put it in the same safe where we keep the matches and the gremlin.

00:14:48.740 You know?

00:14:49.460 Exactly.

00:14:50.040 I don't know what we were thinking.

00:14:51.820 What were we thinking?

00:14:53.640 Ah, that's too bad.

00:14:55.280 Uh, Hey, some misinformation here.

00:14:57.400 I want to point out, uh, view fans left divided by major changes to ABC's daytime show as

00:15:04.040 Whoopi Goldberg and co-hosts returned for a brand new season.

00:15:07.260 Uh, just want to give you, uh, you know, people say it a little time.

00:15:11.120 How do you know when a story is true or not?

00:15:13.280 This one's pretty easy to point out.

00:15:15.040 Uh, just really in the first three letters, the view fans, uh, there are no fans of the

00:15:21.260 view.

00:15:21.860 Uh, and I would just like to correct that, uh, story, uh, and make sure that, you know, we

00:15:27.140 are on top of misinformation.

00:15:30.880 Let me, uh, ask you a question, a relief factor.

00:15:33.900 Um, are you living the life that you want to live?

00:15:37.680 Are you doing the things that you want to do?

00:15:40.020 And if you're not, is it because you're in pain?

00:15:42.800 If you get up in the morning and you just wish you could go back to being unconscious

00:15:46.260 for a few more hours, that's not the way to go through life.

00:15:49.820 Okay.

00:15:50.300 For years, uh, I was absolutely not living the life I wanted to live because I was dealing

00:15:56.020 with serious pain almost all the time.

00:15:57.720 My hands gave me more grief than the democratic party.

00:16:00.800 And that's saying something really my wife made me try relief factor. 0.99

00:16:06.200 I won't listen to you whine anymore if you don't try everything.

00:16:08.780 And thank God I did because it gave my life back.

00:16:12.160 My wife is really smart.

00:16:13.920 God bless her. 1.00

00:16:14.800 Uh, relief factor is a hundred percent drug-free daily supplement that helps your body fight

00:16:26.180 which is where the pain starts.

00:16:37.860 Now back to the podcast.

00:16:39.840 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:16:45.380 Hello, America.

00:16:46.260 Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.

00:16:47.400 Um, there is something going on in Brazil that every American should pay attention to

00:16:52.660 because this is, this is the system in the West now, uh, to silence dissent.

00:17:00.040 Uh, and they're silencing people, uh, on, uh, the election.

00:17:06.400 Anybody who calls election fraud in Venezuela, uh, is in trouble.

00:17:11.200 Um, and anybody who is sharing information, just exactly like what is happening in England.

00:17:17.300 Uh, if you're sharing information about what's really happening with the migrant crisis over

00:17:22.100 there, uh, that you could, uh, you could actually go to jail.

00:17:25.940 Now, Brazil is cracking down on X and any dissenters.

00:17:30.580 Um, but why are they doing it now?

00:17:32.600 And why should you care?

00:17:34.580 One of the strongest voices and truly an American hero, Michael Schellenberger is with us.

00:17:40.680 He is the author of San Francisco.

00:17:42.700 Uh, and he is also the founder of a public on Substack.

00:17:47.780 Michael, welcome to the program.

00:17:49.960 Hey, good to be with you, Glenn.

00:17:51.280 Thank you so much.

00:17:53.040 So can you explain to the American people what's going on and why they should care?

00:17:59.280 Sure.

00:17:59.840 So, I mean, you know, you may think Brazil long ways away, doesn't have anything to do

00:18:04.140 with us, but everything that Brazil is doing in censorship has been endorsed by Kamala Harris

00:18:12.200 and Tim Walz.

00:18:13.960 Kamala Harris and Tim Walz said that we should first censor election information.

00:18:20.980 That they don't approve of that.

00:18:23.100 We should de-platform political leaders, namely Donald Trump, and that those bans on political

00:18:29.800 leaders should be across all social media platforms.

00:18:32.700 In other words, if you get banned at Twitter, then you should also be banned at Facebook.

00:18:36.720 You should be banned on Instagram, TikTok, every single social media platform.

00:18:40.440 That's called cross-platform ban.

00:18:42.440 Well, that's exactly what Brazil is doing right now.

00:18:46.260 When Elon Musk refused to go along with it, they shut off X.

00:18:52.600 It's now blocks in Brazil.

00:18:54.520 It's banned.

00:18:55.000 You can break the law by using a VPN, a virtual private network, to get around the block in

00:19:02.440 Brazil.

00:19:03.260 But that is illegal.

00:19:04.420 And there is an almost $9,000 a day fine for Brazilians if they do that.

00:19:11.320 This is totalitarianism.

00:19:13.100 I mean, this is, people think totalitarianism is just tanks and torture chambers.

00:19:17.240 It never starts that way.

00:19:18.880 It starts with depriving people of freedom of speech.

00:19:23.000 And that's what's happening in Brazil, and it's happening all around the world.

00:19:26.360 And it is, we're at grave risk of it arriving here in a big way.

00:19:30.340 So, Michael, I got in a lot of trouble about four years ago for saying what is coming is

00:19:38.220 a digital ghetto, just as the Nazis put Jews behind a wall and said, you can talk all you 0.51

00:19:43.580 want here, but nobody can hear you because there's a wall.

00:19:46.420 Nobody sees you.

00:19:47.240 Nobody hears you.

00:19:48.680 What's being developed is a digital ghetto.

00:19:51.100 And we're there.

00:19:53.080 We're there.

00:19:54.160 Are we not?

00:19:56.260 We're getting there.

00:19:57.340 I mean, I think that what's game-changing is Elon Musk's ownership of X.

00:20:02.960 We also saw Mark Zuckerberg apologize for the censorship that he engaged in.

00:20:09.020 Didn't go far enough, in my view.

00:20:12.080 Facebook is still censoring disfavored views.

00:20:15.660 But, you know, we still have the First Amendment here.

00:20:18.520 I pointed out a few days ago, and Barack Obama, two years ago, gave a speech at Stanford

00:20:24.920 where he proposed government censorship of social media platforms.

00:20:30.140 And how did he propose doing it?

00:20:32.220 By amending the Constitution.

00:20:35.400 Because he and many Democrats, I'm sad to say, believe that the First Amendment is an obstacle,

00:20:42.180 is a problem that they need to get rid of and solve in order to have mass censorship,

00:20:49.100 which, of course, Glenn, as you know, gives them control over elections.

00:20:52.940 Naturally, they're doing this in the name of saving democracy.

00:20:57.100 But any attack on free speech is an attack on democracy.

00:21:01.220 And that's what Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, and Tim Walz have all endorsed.

00:21:08.220 And this is really, it kind of started with Brazil, where they got serious about X,

00:21:14.840 with people who were questioning the legitimacy of the election of Lula, correct?

00:21:19.860 Yeah, that's right.

00:21:23.000 It's very similar to here.

00:21:25.040 There was concerns around election fraud, around not counting, you know, mischief around the ballot boxes,

00:21:34.260 all of which would sound very familiar to Americans.

00:21:37.700 And then they said that, well, we have to censor all those concerns about the elections.

00:21:42.120 I had a big, I was in Brazil, I'm actually under criminal investigation in Brazil for the Twitter files Brazil.

00:21:50.800 The attorney general recommended that I be prosecuted by the Supreme Court for publishing entirely accurate and legal Twitter files about Brazil censorship.

00:22:02.400 And one of the arguments I had with journalists, because, of course, journalists are, are mainstream journalists are advocates of censorship.

00:22:12.620 It's the most Orwellian thing in the world.

00:22:14.940 But one of the things they would say is, well, we have to censor election information.

00:22:19.040 I would ask them, how would you ever know if somebody stole the election,

00:22:22.880 if the same government that stole the election is also now censoring the evidence showing that they stole the election?

00:22:28.980 Right. I mean, the worst people to be the gatekeepers of truth are the people who have demonstrated throughout all time

00:22:38.800 that they are the biggest and most powerful liars, the government.

00:22:43.940 They cannot be the gatekeeper of truth and disinformation and deciding which is which.

00:22:51.040 You know, Michael, I was I was asked to go down to Brazil for their their independence day, which is coming up.

00:23:02.660 And my attorney said, you can't go.

00:23:06.180 We can't guarantee that you'd be allowed to go.

00:23:09.000 And I haven't done anything that I know of.

00:23:11.100 But that's the situation Elon Musk is in.

00:23:13.680 That's a situation that you're finding yourself in to where you have published the truth and and shown these things to be true.

00:23:23.780 And now if you go into Brazil, do you do you fear that you would be taken?

00:23:31.040 Well, I'm going to find out tomorrow.

00:23:33.640 Are you going?

00:23:35.500 I'm flying to Brazil tomorrow.

00:23:37.240 I will land at 740 in the morning, Sao Paulo time on September 6th.

00:23:43.960 I have an attorney in Sao Paulo.

00:23:45.840 If I am detained at the airport, my attorney will be there and and we will fight it.

00:23:52.820 But no, I'm certainly not going to back down, you know, never, never back down against a bully.

00:23:59.520 And yeah, this is not just about Brazil anymore.

00:24:02.960 This is about we have to stop the totalitarianism abroad before it before it arrives here in a big way.

00:24:10.760 And that's that's why I'm going down there.

00:24:13.100 And I'm going to join them to celebrate Brazil's independence and also celebrate Brazil's commitment to freedom because its constitution protects free speech.

00:24:22.360 Well, now you're shaming me.

00:24:24.000 The the evidence you came out with some evidence that the U.S. was colluding with the Brazilian government to ban X and to go after Elon Musk is Ben's right about the current State Department or embassies from the United States actively being involved right now.

00:24:51.100 We can I think it's safe to assume that that's happening in terms of hard proof.

00:24:59.700 What we have is a lot of money flowing from this outfit called the National Endowment for Democracy into pro censorship organizations in Brazil, including these fake fact checking organizations, which are all about creating justifications for censorship.

00:25:19.000 And it's it's quite it should be a shame.

00:25:22.900 I mean, it's actually it's illegal because, of course, the First Amendment of our Constitution says that the government shall take no actions to bridge freedom of speech that goes worldwide.

00:25:33.520 We're not allowed to support freedom of speech with U.S. taxpayer money.

00:25:37.640 Now, is it the only thing, you know, that's going on?

00:25:42.360 I mean, of course not.

00:25:43.060 I mean, Brazil is its own country.

00:25:44.740 It has, you know, this this criminal dictator named Alexandre de Mouraes, you know, and Lula, who are now the de facto dictators of Brazil.

00:25:55.820 He was a mob lawyer.

00:25:57.940 He was the lawyer for the biggest criminal syndicate in Sao Paulo. 0.98

00:26:02.080 He's as corrupt as anybody. 0.95

00:26:04.080 He got his job. 0.99

00:26:05.600 He almost certainly got his job by blackmailing a former president.

00:26:11.140 Over some without getting into the details, you know, basically a sex scandal.

00:26:17.680 So these are there's a there's an independent, obviously, dynamic in Brazil. 0.92

00:26:22.460 But of course, it's immoral for us to be supporting crooks and and mafia lawyers and dictators.

00:26:30.340 We need to stop doing that.

00:26:31.920 And unfortunately, when I testified in front of Congress about Brazil in May, the Democrats all defended censorship.

00:26:40.440 And now we've seen Robert Reich, the former labor secretary to Clinton, has called for Elon Musk to be arrested.

00:26:46.980 We've seen Mark Ruffalo, the Marvel action Hulk actor.

00:26:52.100 And we've seen Keith Ellison, all all praising Brazil's censorship.

00:26:58.420 Yeah.

00:26:59.740 So that's that's the total.

00:27:01.900 That's the totalitarianism emerges from within the elites, within the ruling class.

00:27:07.620 So when you start seeing the ruling class demanding censorship like they're doing, we should all be very frightened.

00:27:13.060 So let me ask you, Michael.

00:27:14.940 I mean, I don't I don't think it's a coincidence that, you know, everybody on the on the left said that Bolsonaro was like Donald Trump and was going to become a dictator.

00:27:24.240 And then they put up a communist who becomes the dictator and they you know, they're working through the courts, which our our country is trying to change the makeup of our Supreme Court. 0.82

00:27:38.280 Is there anything to be said?

00:27:41.640 I just feel like in England, you know, if you retweet something or you post something that they don't like, they have made the claim that they'll come for you anywhere.

00:27:55.960 And and what's happening is they're coming for people in in Brazil.

00:28:02.460 Is this part of a global strategy to kind of become to take care of problems in our country?

00:28:13.740 You know, they have a real problem with Elon Musk by having Brazil take care of it or, you know, arresting you for something that you might have posted in in, you know, on the Internet.

00:28:26.640 And it went to England.

00:28:27.720 It was a violation of their laws.

00:28:29.420 It just seems like the world speech police are at the beginning phase of something very frightening.

00:28:39.540 Yeah, that's right.

00:28:40.640 And it does appear to be a pattern whereby.

00:28:45.120 The Europeans, the Brazilians, the Canadians, the Irish, the Australians, they're all trying to censor acts with support from the U.S. government in a variety of ways.

00:28:59.420 The goal is clearly to control the information environment and they can't do it.

00:29:06.040 It's harder for them to do it directly because we have this thing called the First Amendment. 0.93

00:29:09.940 So they're trying to do it indirectly through the back door.

00:29:13.480 Yes.

00:29:13.880 And so we've seen constantly they've been demanding that not only the content be censored in Brazil or in Australia, they want it to be censored here in the United States as well.

00:29:24.280 So it's a global totalitarianism.

00:29:27.980 We've never approached this.

00:29:29.460 The closest we've ever imagined it was George Orwell's 1984.

00:29:33.880 You know, it's one.

00:29:34.640 It's a problem, of course, is that you have a few big social media monopolies that control basically all the information.

00:29:41.560 And if they get if the if the government, the deep state, the intelligence agencies, the security agencies get control over social media platforms, then none of us are free.

00:29:53.440 We're absolutely we're completely living in a totalitarian society.

00:29:57.880 Michael, I can't I can't thank you enough for everything that you've done with the Twitter files.

00:30:05.920 And I really believe you are such an important voice.

00:30:11.660 Elon Musk, I don't know if we would stand a chance if it wasn't for Elon Musk right now and what he's doing.

00:30:19.060 If Twitter was still in the hands of the others like it was before, I think we'd be a very different world right now.

00:30:26.560 We pray for both of you.

00:30:28.480 Please let us know, Michael, what happens when you get to the airport.

00:30:32.240 We'll be following that.

00:30:33.260 And if there's anything we can do to help, I'd love to have you back on the air in short order, telling us how we can help.

00:30:41.360 What should we be asking for?

00:30:43.980 But I'm up against the clock.

00:30:45.560 And thank you so much, Michael.

00:30:48.020 Thank you, Glenn.

00:30:48.820 I appreciate you.

00:30:50.180 You bet.

00:30:50.660 Bye bye.

00:30:50.900 This is something that is so critically important, and I don't think America gets it yet.

00:30:57.060 But please follow me on this and Michael and and be very well aware.

00:31:03.780 We're we're entering a new terrifying phase.

00:31:08.340 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:31:11.220 Welcome to the Glenn Beck program tonight on my Wednesday night special, Venezuelan gangs, which a week ago, everybody was like, that's not real.

00:31:24.220 They're now terrorizing communities in multiple cities across the country.

00:31:27.760 Migrants flooding into New York City now account for 75 percent of all the arrests in midtown Manhattan.

00:31:34.000 It's happening all over the world.

00:31:37.880 And the globalist plan is the same all over the Western Hemisphere.

00:31:42.420 Overwhelm and collapse, Cloward and Piven.

00:31:45.860 I saw this coming back with the Arab Spring, and I did a chalkboard every single day that you would see Islamists or Islamists, anarchists, Marxists, progressives all working together.

00:31:59.040 They would cascade through Europe, eventually to the United States.

00:32:02.640 And it's interesting that in the middle of this, there are two things that every single Western country, including ours, are now trying to censor us over.

00:32:12.700 One, questions over immigration.

00:32:16.080 And two, elections.

00:32:19.240 Don't even think about connecting these two things and talking about that.

00:32:23.800 That's an unforgivable sin, but I commit it tonight.

00:32:26.960 Tonight, these are the questions that are the reason Blaze TV even exists.

00:32:34.280 Tonight, I'm going to deep dive inside the data.

00:32:37.640 Are illegals voting in our elections?

00:32:39.660 If so, are the numbers meaningful enough to actually choose the next candidate?

00:32:44.220 Let me just say, looking at the numbers, it is shocking, shocking what's coming our way.

00:32:50.820 Tonight, Wednesday night special, 9 p.m. Eastern, only on Blaze TV, and then you can see it tomorrow on YouTube at youtube.com slash Glenn.

00:33:00.460 It is the Glenn Beck Wednesday night special, The Left's Illegal Immigration Master Plan for 2024.

00:33:08.360 Okay, we are under attack in so many different ways.

00:33:11.360 One of those ways is we have been infiltrated by China, and there are Chinese spies everywhere, and they're at the highest level. 0.59

00:33:21.600 We now find out that we have Kathy Hochul's assistant, the governor of California, a high-level advisor,

00:33:33.640 has been being paid by the Chinese government to help them out.

00:33:39.460 How much is your citizenship worth?

00:33:43.400 How much would you sell your country out for?

00:33:46.880 Peter Swiser is here to tell us any details that he has.

00:33:50.340 He's been following the Chinese infiltration for a very long time.

00:33:54.000 Welcome, Peter. How are you?

00:33:56.000 Hey, I'm great, Glenn. Always good to be with you. Thanks for having me.

00:33:59.520 Thank you.

00:34:00.060 So, in your book, Blood Money, Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans, 0.64

00:34:05.700 you talk about how many, and both on the Republican and the Democratic side,

00:34:12.160 how many people are selling their souls to China.

00:34:17.000 Tell me about this case. What do you know about it?

00:34:19.300 Yeah, so Linda Sun was the deputy chief of staff for Kathy Hochul. 0.95

00:34:25.400 Before that, she served for years in senior positions for Andrew Cuomo.

00:34:31.020 She was his chief deputy chief diversity officer, for example.

00:34:36.220 And essentially what she's being charged with in a 60-page indictment is getting millions of dollars 1.00

00:34:41.580 from the Chinese government and from the CCP.

00:34:45.340 And she took her position and used it for the benefit of China. 1.00

00:34:51.320 So, for example, she blocked representatives from the Taiwanese government 0.97

00:34:55.740 from even having access to the governor's office.

00:35:00.440 She altered state messages that were important to Chinese officials.

00:35:05.320 So she'd literally change a message to benefit them.

00:35:08.980 She also helped Chinese officials travel to the United States.

00:35:12.820 She issued unauthorized invitations that weren't approved by anyone else

00:35:17.440 that allowed government officials to come into the United States.

00:35:21.080 And she gave Chinese officials access to private New York government conversations

00:35:26.300 during the COVID-19 crisis, explaining how they were going to respond.

00:35:31.900 She would actually patch them in on these high-level group telephone calls.

00:35:37.800 And in exchange for that, according to prosecutors, she received a lot of benefits

00:35:43.720 from the Chinese government.

00:35:45.780 She was able to buy a $4.1 million Long Island home, a $2.1 million condo in Hawaii.

00:35:52.440 She and her husband also bought a 2024 Ferrari Roma.

00:35:57.040 And I guess maybe my personal favorites is Glenn.

00:35:59.680 She's also accused of getting 16 meals that were prepared by a Chinese government chef.

00:36:05.880 They were Nanjing-style salted duck, which was pretty good to me.

00:36:11.360 Yeah, I mean, it changes.

00:36:12.440 You know, once you hear the salted duck thing that she got 16 of them,

00:36:15.980 you think, well, you know, maybe, maybe it changes things dramatically.

00:36:21.460 Why did it take so long for this to become a parent?

00:36:25.560 What does her husband do, by the way?

00:36:27.700 Do you know?

00:36:28.020 Well, her husband, her husband, yeah, her husband in New York ran a sort of export-import

00:36:32.940 business, a little bit vague.

00:36:35.380 But the other thing, Glenn, is that she apparently, according to the indictments, think about this,

00:36:41.560 she's a senior state official for Andrew Cuomo and the current governor of New York.

00:36:45.720 She apparently ran her own business in China, in mainland China, which is where she was born.

00:36:51.820 She's a naturalized U.S. citizen.

00:36:54.120 But she actually had a business in China that nobody knew about it. 0.59

00:36:57.540 And the Chinese government also apparently gave her cousin a cushy job. 1.00

00:37:03.200 That is mentioned among the indictments as well.

00:37:07.760 How many more are there?

00:37:13.500 How widespread is this, Peter?

00:37:15.300 Oh, it's a massive problem.

00:37:19.020 And look, this is something you and I have been talking about since 2018.

00:37:23.580 You've talked about it on Blaze TV.

00:37:26.140 And that is that they have avoided really enforcing the Foreign Agents Registration Act,

00:37:34.300 which requires if you do anything to benefit a foreign government or a foreign government-linked

00:37:41.580 business, you are required to file with the Department of Justice.

00:37:45.860 And they didn't really support this law at all.

00:37:49.100 And then, of course, they've used it against various Republicans, which, you know, look,

00:37:53.200 if they're guilty of it, they're guilty of it.

00:37:54.840 They should be charged.

00:37:56.080 But it's been selective.

00:37:58.160 This case was a long time coming.

00:38:00.240 And, of course, there is that, I think, strong case for these same violations that took place

00:38:06.260 by Hunter Biden, taking millions of dollars.

00:38:09.480 And yet, he's not charged with anything.

00:38:13.240 Yeah.

00:38:13.480 Correct.

00:38:14.040 Yep.

00:38:14.460 Correct.

00:38:15.020 By the Chinese, by the Ukrainians, by the Romanians, by the Russians. 0.67

00:38:19.740 I think you could make a fair case in every one of those instances when it relates to Hunter

00:38:24.520 Biden.

00:38:25.420 And the Department of Justice now, in their tax case against Hunter Biden, has even said that

00:38:30.720 he was running a foreign influence peddling scheme.

00:38:33.440 But he has yet to be charged under this Foreign Agents Registration Act, which is what Melinda

00:38:39.500 Sun has now been charged with.

00:38:42.280 And he got more than salted duck.

00:38:44.760 Well, maybe.

00:38:46.080 I mean, I saw some of the videos.

00:38:48.080 He might have.

00:38:48.940 Anyway, let's move on.

00:38:51.120 You know, Peter, I can't thank you enough for all of the work that you have done.

00:38:55.860 My mood never improves after talking to you, but I am appreciative of the knowledge.

00:39:04.920 Can I get a read from you on how optimistic are you that we can turn things around with

00:39:16.900 this election?

00:39:17.600 I'm cautiously optimistic.

00:39:23.080 You know, look, I mean, the bottom line is we have to be realist.

00:39:27.300 You know, the the reminder here is that we don't want to be optimistic because you're

00:39:32.400 naive, but you don't want to be pessimistic because then you just give up all hope.

00:39:36.980 And the bottom line is, I do think that that, look, there are people around Trump that that

00:39:42.340 have Chinese connections, but there are also people around Trump that recognize this

00:39:46.320 problem.

00:39:46.960 And I believe those are in the closer inner circle.

00:39:50.560 When you look at Kamala Harris and Tim Walls, I mean, Tim Walls does not get did not get

00:39:56.220 money from the Chinese, but he fits the definition of a fellow traveler.

00:40:01.100 And my fear is that with him as vice president, because he had exchange programs, you know,

00:40:07.020 with China for 30 years, they'll make him the point person on China policy.

00:40:10.940 And then, God forbid, I think we're going to be in deep trouble.

00:40:13.600 So it's going to be in deep trouble.

00:40:18.220 Peter, you know, when you look at everything that is going on and what they are now admitting

00:40:23.400 to and saying, you know, we're going to do price controls, we're going to do unrealized

00:40:28.080 gains tax, you know, their stance on war, their stance on everything.

00:40:36.000 I mean, there is no way that if that's your plan, which is coming together oh so nicely,

00:40:45.520 especially when it comes to controlling free speech all around the world, and we're involved

00:40:50.640 with it in England and in Brazil.

00:40:52.940 There's no way that Donald Trump, that they could allow him to win, because he really is

00:41:01.260 the only thing standing in the way of all of these very nefarious plans.

00:41:08.060 Yeah, I mean, this is the weird place that we are in America, Glenn, where you have, you

00:41:14.280 know, Donald Trump, who sort of breaks all molds.

00:41:17.480 Um, and one of the people that's vigorously supporting him is Robert Kennedy Jr., who also

00:41:23.000 breaks a lot of molds, and they just they will disagree on certain policy positions.

00:41:28.340 But the point is, they recognize the essential problem.

00:41:32.360 And the essential problem is this desire for control and dominance, where the left has essentially

00:41:39.360 been fused with corporate America, big government and big business are not enemies.

00:41:45.200 They're actually allies.

00:41:47.220 Um, and and this is the place that we find ourselves.

00:41:49.920 And I think what the what the Harris campaign is really trying to do is bank that a sizable 0.97

00:41:55.600 proportion of the American population voting population is going to be ignorant. 0.69

00:42:00.360 So they they play this game where they talk about these policy prescriptions that really don't 0.95

00:42:07.200 have widespread popularity.

00:42:08.920 You know, this this tax on unrealized gains is just ridiculous, but they're they're they're

00:42:14.240 obscuring it enough to where they think that a lot of people won't even be aware that that

00:42:20.080 is her position. 0.74

00:42:21.020 That's the game that they're playing.

00:42:22.620 And I still want to have enough faith in America that people are going to see through

00:42:26.500 that and understand what's going on.

00:42:28.780 Yeah, I hope so.

00:42:29.960 Peter, thank you so much.

00:42:31.660 God bless you.

00:42:32.540 Keep on the keep on the trail.

00:42:34.320 You bet Peter Swiser, um, uh, investigative journalist who, uh, used to be one of the

00:42:42.020 most beloved investigative journalists when it came to government corruption because he

00:42:46.740 rats out both sides.

00:42:48.320 That's not good enough anymore.

00:42:50.040 You can only rat out one side and it has to be the conservatives.

00:42:52.600 If you do it to the other side, you're over.

00:42:55.280 Uh, but luckily his books are well-read, uh, by, uh, you know, millions of Americans.

00:43:02.640 Uh, so he continues to do his job.

00:43:05.140 Na, na, na, na.
